The Museum of the Future, located in Dubai's Financial District, is a futuristic and innovative attraction designed to spark discussions about what lies ahead. This seven-floor museum features interactive exhibits exploring artificial intelligence, biotechnology, sustainability, transportation, and more. It also includes a dedicated area for children to engage in challenges focused on shaping the future. Founded by the Dubai Future Foundation and launched in 2022, this landmark offers visitors a glimpse into potential societal evolution through traditional exhibitions and immersive experiences.
Museum of the Future - A Glimpse into Tomorrow, Today! Prepare to have your mind blown and your imagination ignited – the Museum of the Future in Dubai is an absolutely extraordinary experience that everyone must witness. This isn't just a museum; it's a journey into what humanity could achieve, a hopeful and awe-inspiring vision of tomorrow. From the moment you approach the iconic, calligraphic-emblazoned structure, you know you're in for something special. The architecture itself is a marvel, a seamless blend of art and engineering that perfectly encapsulates the museum's forward-thinking mission. Stepping inside, you're immediately transported. The exhibits are incredibly immersive, interactive, and thoughtfully designed. Rather than just showcasing static displays, the museum creates dynamic environments that allow you to engage with future concepts across various fields – from space travel and ecological solutions to wellness and technological advancements. I was particularly captivated by [mention a specific exhibit or general area if you can recall one, e.g., "the journey to the orbital space station," "the re-wilding of the Amazon," or "the future of health and well-being"]. The use of advanced technology, AI, and sensory experiences truly makes you feel like you're part of the future unfolding before your eyes. It’s not just educational; it’s deeply inspiring, sparking conversations and new ideas long after you've left. The staff are also fantastic – knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and ready to assist, enhancing the overall experience. Every detail, from the flow of the exhibits to the informative guides, is meticulously executed. The Museum of the Future isn't just a highlight of Dubai; it's a global landmark for innovation and optimism. It challenges you to think differently, to dream bigger, and to believe in the potential of human ingenuity. Whether you're a tech enthusiast, a curious traveler, or simply looking for an unforgettable experience, this museum is an absolute essential. Go, explore, and be inspired!

The Museum of the Future in Dubai is truly an architectural masterpiece — the building itself is breathtaking and symbolizes innovation perfectly. The exhibits are beautifully designed and the overall atmosphere is inspiring, giving a real glimpse into what the future might look like. However, I was a bit surprised that many of the interactive experiences felt somewhat outdated compared to the cutting-edge image the museum represents. The technology and digital effects could be much more immersive and advanced. It would be wonderful to see more dynamic, theme-park-style attractions or sensory experiences that really engage visitors in the world of AI, robotics, and space. Overall, it’s a must-visit place and a beautiful concept, but I hope in the near future the museum will upgrade its technology and create more interactive, exciting experiences worthy of its incredible vision and name.
Dr. V — Google review
The building itself is absolutely stunning and one of the most iconic architectural landmarks in Dubai, but when it comes to the museum experience, I found it a bit underwhelming. The entry ticket is quite high, and once inside, there aren’t many things that feel truly futuristic anymore. We are already living in a generation where much of what’s displayed is familiar to us, so instead of feeling like “the future,” many parts feel like things we already use or see around. Of course, there are a few sections that are impressive and visually exciting, but not everything felt new or innovative. If you just want to admire the unique structure, you can freely walk around the outer areas of the building without needing a ticket. Overall, it’s worth seeing for the design and architecture, but for the cost, the exhibits may not meet everyone’s expectations.
Sai V — Google review
I WAS MIND BLOWN WITH THIS MUSEUM!!! To be honest I was not having the highest of expectations of this building. I have seen images of this attractive museum for years but I didn’t think I would care for the museum its self… WOW DID THIS MUSEUM BLOW MY MIND IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. Upon arrival you are greater by one of the most stunning buildings in all of the emirates!! The museum of the future is just what sounds like. Truly stunning in every way possible, the experiences from start to finish was truly just awesome. I didn’t want to leave. I learned so much and it made me appreciate the emirates even more ! I’m very excited for the future ! If you are ever in Dubai I strongly suggest visiting here!!! Also eat at salt! The food is very good and vegetarian friendly!! Btw I strongly suggest paying for the fast pass vip ticket. It’s worth it as this place is very busy. Having the fast pass is so soooo worth it 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️✨

Very interesting visit to the Futuristic museum. we enjoyed so much. A Futuristic incredible travel to outer space. Unique structure. you need to check-in your backpack for 10 AE. Service is good & friendly. We booked in advance using Klook Apps our favorite travel Apps. We bought a bundle package of 3 tour - Museum+ Desert Safari+ Abu Dhabi City tour. Entrance to the museum is easy with Priority entrance. Skip the Q. It's good to start early at 9.30 am. Very crowded later. There's a 50 AED gift voucher if you booked in Advance. Worth it. It's so enjoyable visit. You must try when you are in Dubai.
Live H — Google review
With a stunning exterior, this futuristic museum houses exhibits and concepts that are predicted to be in existence in 2071. It has some space exploration predictions, some concepts to enhance mental well being and some very cool automotive exhibits. It also has a humanoid that shakes your hand and waves at you. Other than this they have a restaurant, a robot barista, and free drinking water. They also take you to the middle floor where you can click pics with the exterior. You can reach there directly via Metro. However, I did not find it very amusing, and most of things were very mid considering the entrance fees paid. There are some areas with cool trippy visuals but you can see them in teamLab Phenomena as well, better even. In short, I wouldn’t have missed anything and saved a lot of Dirhams and time if I skipped it. It could be interesting maybe if you have kids, there is also a dedicated kids only area.
Yash W — Google review
The Museum of the Future is truly impressive — the architecture is breathtaking, and the concept is fascinating. However, I expected a bit more in terms of the overall experience. The connection between the different levels wasn’t always clear, and I sometimes felt that the storyline could be more cohesive. It would be even more engaging if visitors could take part in some kind of interactive journey or game, making the experience feel more like a real trip into the future.
Daniela B — Google review
The Museum of the Future is truly a masterpiece, both inside and out. The building itself is an architectural wonder, and stepping inside feels like entering another world. Each exhibition is thoughtfully designed, blending technology, imagination, and innovation to give a glimpse of what the future could look like. What impressed me most was how interactive and inspiring the displays were—suitable for all ages. It’s not just a museum; it’s an experience that sparks curiosity and leaves you thinking long after you leave. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making the journey even more enjoyable. A must-visit landmark in Dubai that combines creativity, science, and vision in the most stunning way. 🌟

The Sharjah Maritime Museum offers a modern space showcasing exhibits on maritime trade and marine life, including maps, ancient boats, and artifacts. It presents the diverse aspects of sea-related life that have impacted Sharjah's heritage for over 6,000 years. Visitors can explore traditional wooden seafaring dhows used for fishing, trading, and pearling.
It’s a small but nice museum. We saw old boats, tools, and maps used by fishermen and pearl divers. The displays are easy to understand and there is information in both Arabic and English. It was peaceful and good for a short visit with kids. My son really enjoyed it. Sharjah Maritime Museum and aquarium have combo ticket. Good value and worth visiting if you are in Sharjah.
Sony N — Google review
The Sharjah Aquarium is a nice spot for a quick visit — clean, well-maintained, and family-friendly. While the displays are interesting, it could definitely use more variety in fish species to make it more engaging. Still, it's a pleasant experience overall and worth checking out if you're nearby.

We got the tickets to Maritime Museum, along with Sharjah Aquarium tickets we bought. Its a informative place to know about boats, fishing and navigation. Kids will find it intriguing and unique.

Science Museums
The Sharjah Science Museum, established in 1996, is a family-friendly destination located near the Sharjah Archaeology Authority. It aims to educate and inspire people of all ages about science through interactive exhibits and presentations. Visitors can engage in hands-on activities, explore space in the planetarium, and experiment with physics, chemistry, and biology displays. The museum offers a captivating blend of education and entertainment for families, school groups, and curious minds.
Sharjah Science Museum is one of the best places for students and children to explore and learn the wonders of science in a fun and interactive way. It offers engaging exhibits that help kids understand the science behind many everyday phenomena. A major plus is that entry is free for senior citizens and there's 50% off for kids under 12. The 20-minute planetarium show is both informative and enjoyable. The science lab demonstrations are also a highlight, showcasing practical experiments and useful techniques that make learning science exciting. A highly recommended educational spot for families and school trips!

Very nice experience, we went on Sunday. No wait time or rush. Free parking available. 10 aed for adult and 5 aed for kids. Will be very valuable experience for kids as they can feel many things they heard in science books.
Bonnnie A — Google review
I spent 4 hours with my 7 years old kid, we enjoyed the experience a lot. There was 2 shows; bubble show and electrical show. Both were nice.
Essa L — Google review
It was such a great experience for children. It allows children to explore all things science in so many ways, hands-on and practical, and the play area is the perfect break that younger children need after all the exploration.
Tammy-Kay — Google review
A rather small museum (essentially one large room), one of the 16 members of the family of Sharjah museums. It’s interesting (although oriented more towards school-aged children) however not so well maintained as many of its exhibits aren’t working. There is also a planetarium with a show about space. You can tour it easily in 45’ (so you may want to visit in combination with one more of the Emirate’s museums). Entrance fee: AED 10 (Sharjah museums in general have of the lowest entrance fees in the country).
Manolis L — Google review
Fun learning museums the kids enjoyed it each section had a different experience. Well spent time. The space show was amazing. Tickets 25 for adults 10 derham for kids
Mar O — Google review
The museum is great for curious kids. My son is 2 years old and I wouldn’t say this was his favorite. The place is comparable to Children’s City although it’s smaller and older. Entrance fee is only Ð10 for adult and Ð5 for my son.
Ched B — Google review
A small museum with science techs for kids. Many gadgets placed there were not functional though. Many were so simple that they were more like toys then science. They do have lot of activities in between that can be considered good off young kids but still they have scope for lot of improvement.

From sensory experiences to arts and crafts workshops, the museum inspires creativity, curiosity, and imagination in children aged 2 to 11.
Wonderful Experience at OliOli with Aryan We recently took our nursery kids to OliOli in Dubai, and Aryan was our guide. He was absolutely amazing! From the start, he was so attentive and careful with the little children, making sure they were safe while also encouraging them to explore and enjoy every activity. Aryan was not only professional but also very kind and patient. He taught the kids how to go up and down the stairs safely, guided them through the exhibits, and made sure every child felt included. He even remembered some of their names and interacted with them individually, which created such a lovely bond. He was also very clear and informative with the teachers, always polite and helpful, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone. The kids were so happy and engaged throughout, which shows how great he was at connecting with them. We would love to visit OliOli again, and having Aryan as our guide made this trip truly special. Thank You!! 🌷

OliOli is such a fun place for kids! My children really enjoyed it, especially my 3 year old son who had a great time. The activities are creative, educational, and sensory-based, which makes the experience both fun and enriching. I would recommend it more for kids aged 3 and above, since there aren’t many activities for younger ones. But overall, it’s definitely worth a visit!

What a lovely place .. my daughter absolutely loved it ! She didn't want to leave lol. All the staff were so so friendly and sweet. She had the best time . Such a creative place to the hands on experiments..to the lights room upstairs.. the crochet hanging net.. the water area.. even the slime workshop.. I don't think she could point out her favourite .. Thank you for making our day so memorable !

We celebrated our five-year-old daughter’s birthday at OliOli Children’s Museum, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! 🎉 We had around 13 children plus adults, with catering included, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The entire team was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful — we truly felt very well taken care of. It was a fantastic experience for the kids to celebrate a birthday in such a fun and creative environment. A very special thank you goes to our guide, Manis Arian, who did an outstanding job leading and engaging the children with so much patience and enthusiasm. We can highly recommend OliOli as a birthday location — everything was smooth, joyful, and memorable!

We had an amazing time celebrating Leo’s birthday at Oli Oli! The entire experience was seamless and fun for both kids and adults. The safari-themed premium package was absolutely worth it — the interactive games, quests, and activities kept the little ones fully engaged and entertained. A special shoutout to our guide, Daniel, who was friendly, professional, and made the experience even more memorable. The dinner and dance party were the perfect ending to a magical day. Highly recommend Oli Oli for any birthday celebration!

We celebrated our son’s 6th birthday at OliOli, and it was such an amazing experience! 🎉 Ms. Asha was so kind to upgrade our plan from Premium to Premium Plus as a complimentary gesture — really appreciated! Ms. Sahar helped us with the check-in process and made everything super easy. A big shoutout to Ms. Gloria Dsouza, who was fantastic with the kids. She kept them engaged, happy, and full of energy — all the children absolutely loved her, especially our son! We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend OliOli to our friends and family. We’ll surely be back again! ❤️

Today Diyar private girls school had its trip to OliOli Dubai and this was amazing experience. Calm, clean, extremely friendly environment from 2 to 100 years olds. You play while you learn some science. Professional and educated staff members. Kind, responsive ,who was keeping all the points of safeguarding and ensuring to have smooth transition from area to area. Big thanks to coach Daniel ❤️

We had an absolutely wonderful time, the kids had a blast, not a dull moment. My only advice would be to save the water station for last because the kids do get wet and it’s hard to get them out of there. I loved all the activities, they really spark wonder, curiosity and creativity in the kids growing brains ✨

History Museums
The Sharjah Archaeology Museum, established in 1993 and relocated to its current site in 1997, is a popular attraction in the UAE. It houses a collection of archaeological artifacts discovered in Sharjah and its surroundings, offering insights into the region's ancient history. Situated near the Sharjah Science Museum, this museum provides an opportunity to explore the efforts of archaeologists in uncovering the area's past.
The museum offers a glimpse into the UAE's ancient past and is an excellent destination for history enthusiasts, students, and families. It provides context to the region's transformation from early settlements to a modern metropolis. Children enjoy being archaeologists with various activities curated for them. Entry fee for adults is 10 whereas for children is 5
Adiba J — Google review
What i liked most , apart from its excellent upkeep, was the opportunity for the children to explore the sites on their own identifying things. A great place to take children to inculcate interest in human history and development.
S N — Google review
Little underwhelming. Children 5 dhs and adults 10 dhs entry fees. Detailed history of UAE explained as different ages. Children get a small opportunity to become archaeologists with a jacket and hat. I feel the same should be given for adults too as they are paying more. And the biggest drawback the museum wasn’t accepting cards! Had to go to an atm and get cash. Really a big hassle. It’s all built well and clean with equipped washrooms for baby diaper changing etc. A small cafeteria is there. Didn’t find the staff too friendly . Could involve more interactive activities
Roshan M — Google review
A wonderful museum with fascinating history and well-organized exhibits. Kids loved the play area where they could dig for treasures and build with bricks. Great spot for families!
Adnan Y — Google review
The Sharjah Archaeology Museum is a hidden gem for history lovers. It beautifully showcases the rich archaeological heritage of the region, with artifacts dating back thousands of years. The displays are very well-organized, covering the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age, and Islamic era, giving a fascinating timeline of human civilization in the UAE. The museum is not very large, which makes it easy to explore without feeling overwhelming, yet it holds an impressive collection—from pottery and coins to ancient tools and jewelry. The explanations are clear and informative in both Arabic and English, making it easy for visitors to appreciate the significance of each piece. The environment is calm, clean, and family-friendly, with helpful staff and affordable entry. It’s an excellent place to learn about the roots of the region’s culture and history. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Sharjah and want to dive deeper into the UAE’s past!
Zulqarnain S — Google review
This was a really interesting little museum with great displays and plenty of information. It has good hands on areas for children too, so my kiddo could dig in a pit of sand to "excavate" items like on a dig, and there was also colouring and puzzles. It's not a huge museum, but I think that's part of the charm, that it's not so huge you get lost. The displays and set up are very nicely done, and pleasing to the eye, and certainly left feeling I learned a lot.

The park itself provides a serene environment with green spaces, jogging and bike tracks, a football court, and a children's play area. It also supports energy and environment businesses while featuring modern architecture.
I’m dealing with Fatma Al Zarei, it is an absolute pleasure to deal with. She is extremely helpful, always gets things done, and her follow-up is amazing. Her problem-solving skills are incredible — she is always looking for solutions and never complicates things. If there’s a way to help, she will find it. Fatma is brilliant, reliable, and exactly the kind of person every business would love to have.

Beautiful modern area with lots of public parks, convenient amenities, prime location, and metro station soon!
Omar A — Google review
This is a very well-maintained free public park. A welcome breath of fresh air and greenery in the concrete jungle. Plenty of free parking for cars. While I haven’t used public transportation, I have seen the RTA buses traveling along the park route. There are jogging and bike tracks, as well as a football court. There is a children’s play area. While you can enjoy a bite to eat or drink your coffee in the park, a full scale picnic is not allowed. Plenty of seating that includes benches and pebble surfaces, and a large grassy patch. Bathrooms and prayer rooms are available. Trash disposal and recycling present.
Tya — Google review
I love these 2 towers. They are spacious and clean. Security staff are always available to help. There are many elevators and a waiting area in the lobby. The 3 stars are for the following reasons: 1) lack of the indoor parking availability - it is always very hard of find an empty spot since the two towers are very busy 2) lack of restaurants options. There is one small coffee shop in the north tower. But that's it. Since it is a busy area, it will be nice to have other options for lunch breaks 3) It is always hard for Careem drivers to find the main entrance as the private road that leads to the main entrance does not show on google maps. It would better if a sign was installed for this purpose.

The Emirates Science Club is a fantastic destination in Dubai dedicated to fostering scientific curiosity and critical thinking among young minds. This vibrant hub offers an array of workshops, science camps, and interactive activities that immerse children in the exciting realms of STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. By creating a dynamic learning atmosphere, the Emirates Science Club inspires youth to explore potential careers in these fields. While it primarily caters to local students, there’s hope for greater inclusivity for expatriates as well.
Looks very good, but when I tried to contact they only entertained national, my request is to consider the expats as well in order to enhance the experience and diversity of knowledge

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is a must-visit attraction in Dubai, especially for families. It features an impressive underwater tunnel, glass-bottom boat tours, and a diverse collection of over 140 sea life species. The aquarium houses the largest collection of Sand Tiger sharks globally and offers close encounters with various marine creatures like seahorses, starfish, and jellies. Visitors can also interact with friendly sea animals at touch tanks.
Visiting the aquarium at Dubai Mall is an experience that combines tranquility and awe in a truly unique way. The place feels both vast and intimate at the same time, you can stroll through (extremely clean) glass tunnels surrounded by marine life, yet still feel a calming sense of peace. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean, and serene, offering moments for reflection and pure enjoyment of the fascinating creatures. The staff are helpful and attentive, and everything is well organized. For those seeking a bit more excitement, there are opportunities to touch a shark, swim with them, or even interact with penguins, unforgettable experiences that make the visit even more special. Overall, this is a wonderful 1–2 hour experience, perfect for both adults and children. Highly recommended, worth every minute.
Nils V — Google review
Slightly pricey buy was worth it. My son loved it. A lot of animals, fish, insects and even some large crocodiles and much more to see here. Some intractive areas where kids can feed or touch the fish. Expected a bit more from the glass bottom boat ride, it was very noisy and couldn't clearly hear the guide was saying. Overall experience was very good though.
Millissa G — Google review
Absolutely stunning experience! The Dubai Underwater Aquarium is like stepping into another world. The massive tunnel with sharks, rays, and colorful fish swimming all around was mesmerizing. Everything was well-maintained and the marine life variety was incredible. A must-visit when in Dubai Mall!

really fun place to visit. walkthru tunnel with loads of rays and sharks as well as plenty of colorful fish. Zoo area had a nice variety of animals . Always lots of fun watching otters and penguins. Otter encounter was the best, learn a lot about the animals and actually get to shake hands.

The Dubai Aquarium is an amazing experience! The massive tank with sharks, rays, and colorful fish is truly mesmerizing. The tunnel walk gives you a close-up view of marine life — it feels like you’re underwater! Great for families, couples, and tourists. A bit crowded sometimes, but totally worth it for the experience. A must Visit for anyone exploring Dubai Mall
Justus D — Google review
The Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is truly a spectacular experience that completely justifies its reputation as a world-class attraction. The sheer size of the main tank is absolutely awe-inspiring—it's one of the world's largest suspended aquariums, holding a massive 10 million liters of water. Just seeing the colossal acrylic panel from the Dubai Mall is impressive, but walking through the 48-meter Underwater Tunnel is the real highlight. Being enveloped by the tank on all sides gives an unforgettable, immersive feeling as sharks and rays glide right overhead. The collection of marine life is stunningly vast and diverse, boasting over 33,000 aquatic animals from more than 140 species. A notable feature is that it's home to the largest collection of Sand Tiger Sharks in the world! Beyond the main tank's sharks, rays, and huge schools of fish, the Underwater Zoo upstairs offers even more unique encounters. You can see the legendary King Croc, an immense 750kg Australian saltwater crocodile, as well as captivating Gentoo Penguins, playful otters, and various reptiles and nocturnal creatures. For anyone who loves marine life or wants to be stunned by the scale of a truly grand aquarium, this is an absolute must-visit. It's a mesmerizing journey into the heart of the ocean, all set within the impressive architecture of the Dubai Mall.
Jayaraj S — Google review
You see clean tanks. You see large marine life. The tunnel view feels immersive. Staff keep the flow smooth. You can take clear photos. The experience stays calm even with visitors. Good value for families.
Sufyan S — Google review
Breathtaking Underwater World in the Heart of the Mall! The Dubai Aquarium is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. We were impressed by how much space the animals have in the massive tanks. Everything looks very well-maintained and modern. The absolute highlight is the underwater tunnel – it's an indescribable feeling when sharks and rays swim directly over you. A truly breathtaking sight that you shouldn't miss!

The Green Planet is a captivating indoor tropical rainforest located in the vibrant City Walk area of Dubai, making it an essential stop for nature enthusiasts. This impressive biodome houses over 3,000 species of plants and animals, including colorful birds, reptiles, and adorable sloths. Visitors can explore four distinct levels—Canopy, Midstory, Forest Floor, and Flooded Rainforest—each offering unique educational displays and interactive experiences.
It's a bit more geared for kids and families, but I think any animal lover will really enjoy it. It's large for an indoor space, but the unique thing is to be able to see up-and-close all the animals that are just lounging around in close proximity. Would recommend if you have some extra time.
Jiekai Z — Google review
Worth the trip but smaller than expected. We enjoyed our visit. There are some neat animals to see (even although I am not a fan of animals outside their natural habitat). It is an educational place - would be great for a school trip. Younger children would enjoy it. My 15 year old granddaughter said it was worth the trip. We would probably give barely 4 stars. The “cafe” only had seating for 4 people. Prepare for heat outside if you plan to have a snack.
Jacquelyn M — Google review
It was an amazing experience — it truly felt like being in a real forest. Birds were flying freely around you, eating right next to you. The place was made up of several sections: one that actually looked like a forest, complete with an artificial waterfall; another dedicated to reptiles; and even one where you could encounter bats inside a cave-like area. Overall, it was a really fascinating experience for me.
Ali A — Google review
Visited close to closing time and really enjoyed the experience. The indoor rainforest is beautiful, the animals are easy to spot, and the atmosphere feels calm in the evening with fewer crowds. Some areas start winding down near closing, but it’s still a great way to explore the biodome without the daytime rush. Overall, a very cool and unique attraction.

Had a really good experience! The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s an enjoyable place for kids — they’ll love seeing the little animals and birds flying freely around. Surrounded by beautiful greenery, it may be small but definitely worth a visit. 🌿🦜

We visited the Green Planet yesterday with my class, and the experience was extraordinary! It was amazing to be so close to the animals and learn about them in such an engaging way. Our trip was made even more special thanks to our wonderful tour guide, Ashar. He was friendly, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable. He taught my students new facts and vocabulary in a fun and memorable way. Ashar also took fantastic photos for us at every station, helping us capture beautiful memories from the trip. He is truly professional and passionate about what he does.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 We are very grateful for his time and the informative tour. Highly recommended. Thank you, Ashar! 🤩🙏🏼

Such a wonderful experience. Seeing the animals fly overhead or walk right next to you. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and the animals are well taken care of. I would recommend if you are going to visit to make a reservation. They do have a little shop to get snacks and drinks. It is not air conditioned inside.
