It's one of the oldest markets in Palayam, established by Maharaja Sri Uthradom Thirunal in 1857. The market has been recently renovated and offers a wide variety of household items. Opposite the market, you'll find the beautifully renovated gopuram of the Sree Shaktivinayaka Temple, with the Juma Masjid conveniently located adjacent to it. Efforts have been made to maintain the market's historic charm. However, the presence of posters, banners, and party flags detracts from its aesthetic appeal.

Best market in the middle of the city, where you will find everything you need for daily life. Its now extended to back side for the renovation, but i think renovation is still pending still last few years. Even though they managed to keep the place alive, Right in the middle of the palayam, opposite to the ganapathi temple. Parking space is available, pay 10rs for that.

Lively and busy market 🛍️ with plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, and local goods at fair prices. Great for daily shopping, though it can get crowded and noisy at times. Still, a nice place for an authentic local vibe! 🌿✨

Palayam market is a busy place with all types of shops. You can find fish meat vegetables groceries snacks fancy items clothes and even basic electronics. Good place to get many things in one area. Prices depend on the shop but overall it is useful for daily needs

Chicken, mutton, different types of lake and reef fish , fruits, vegetables, kitchen appliances, limited amount of garment shops 2 to 3 mobile phone shops and mostly with different types of foods and spices are sold in this market.... I’ve been there several times...

This Complex has an old-school marketplace feel but lacks proper maintenance. Many shops seem unoccupied or have low foot traffic, giving the place a deserted look. The variety of stores is limited, and stock availability can be an issue. Parking is minimal, and the overall infrastructure feels outdated. It’s convenient for quick visits if you're nearby, but not ideal for a full-fledged shopping experience.

It's a large shopping complex under the govt. Lift facility is available but limited, huge number of shops, you will get all necessary and luxury items here, at one rooftop.

Almost all kinds types shops and products are available, from mobile shops to textile to antique shops to bakeries and juice shops. It's a shopping complex which still reminds you of a bygone era.

Bought a belt from here and brought it in for exchange as it was not the right size. The tag bill is all inclusive. But after much early talk they finally agreed, saying they wouldn't do it. But they put us through a lot. Very bad experience. Very bad behavior of staff. If we see their attitude, it is as if we went to their next pitch.

Though the items are cheap the staff is very rude, especially in the main shop and jewellery section at East Fort. The quality of items ( most of them)is bad. Some are good and durable. The security staff act entitled every single time and are rude. Then need soft skill training.Some of the normal staff are overworked and tired and they take it out on customers. It used to be a nice place earlier. I strongly recommend R. K wedding mall which is nearby. Good quality items. Staff are well behaved and friendly.

Sorry but I genuinely can’t hold this back. As someone who has worked in sales myself I walked in expecting at least basic customer service not royal treatment just the bare minimum. But what I got was… silence. The staff seemed more interested in staring into space or calling out their colleague’s names like they were in a school playground not a store with paying customers. I had to ask multiple times not once, not twice just to get a simple blouse cloth. It felt like I was asking for gold. Even then no one cared to respond let alone assist. Eye contact? Acknowledgement? Apparently that's not in their training manual. And the noise? Oh, what a concert. Staff yelling across the floor, casually chatting while customers stood waiting like invisible mannequins. Honestly I didn’t know I signed up for live theatre when I stepped in. It’s really disappointing when you expect a decent shopping experience and end up feeling like an unwanted guest. For a place that’s supposedly customer-oriented they might want to look up what ‘service’ actually means.

Vehicle parking service is good and spacious. But lift is turned off and I have never seen it working. Complex has more than 5 security and many cleaning staff. Most of the shops are based on marriage cards , perfumes , matrimony, civilianz psc coaching centre, jewellery shop , etc ..But the overall interior is very poor and not maintained.

Hi , this is my experience with this shop I serviced my Casio multiple function watch for Rs 1125/ from this shop on 20/11/24 , unfortunately it stopped functioning for the next day I contacted with the shop and they told they need to check it and get in touch with me but till this day 11/12/2024 they didn’t contacted me . Customers please do not go there in the evening hours because their management has recruited many criminals there as security guards who will create unnecessary problems to customer by way of threatenings and shoutings and using bad words even against ladies...We had such experiences repeatedly.On 27/9/2024 evening we visited the complex. The young security guard behaved very badly regarding parking though a lot if parking space were vacant.They should be sent for training to Lulu mall to know how politely security guards are behaving. Already there is few footfalls in the complex and these guards will ensure that the complex is closed 😂😂

Mall of Travancore offers a much quieter and more relaxed shopping experience compared to Lulu Mall nearby. The smaller scale of the mall makes it ideal for peaceful walks and unhurried shopping. The small plaza in front serves as a nice meeting point and resting space for visitors. There’s a Ramachandra supermarket on the ground floor that’s fairly decent, with a clothing section extending to the basement. However, the ventilation near the basement area seems to allow some foul air into the supermarket, which could be improved. Apart from that, the rest of the mall is well-maintained. I also visited the Westside store here, which was quite good with a nice collection and courteous staff. The cinema and kids’ section on the top floor are good, and the open lobby spaces inside often host events such as film promotions and festival activities — during my visit, there was a Diwali celebration and a movie campaign going on. Overall, a decent and pleasant mall experience.

Located in Thiruvananthapuram, this mall is definitely worth checking out. The ambiance is quite good, creating a nice environment for shopping and leisure. While the noise can be quite high at times, it surprisingly doesn't detract too much from the overall experience, making it a good spot to spend some time.

Mall of Travancore is quite basic with very limited options. If you are looking to roam around and spend quality time in a mall, this may not be the right choice. Lulu Mall in Trivandrum is a much better option. The Ramachandra Hypermarket inside feels very cheap, with low-quality products. Even the food court area is not pleasing or attractive. Most of the outlets are just the regular ones like Trends and Max nothing unique or exciting. Overall, it doesn’t feel like a proper mall setup, just a very ordinary space.

The store has all kinds of things including a Hypermart at the ground floor. The car parking entrance is at the back side of building with 2 underground floor. Valet parking is only available there, so park it at your own risk. The parking area is little congested and old. It would be great if they keep it more clean and comfortable. And the products price are affordable, not too expensive. At offer days, the products are even more cheap.The staffs were friendly and provides instructions and directions to our needs.

There's an issue with the toilet facilities. The toilets are closed for cleaning for three hours, and people, including pregnant ladies, are forced to use the ground floor toilets or worse. Could we please have alternative arrangements or a shorter closure time?

It's a big store; it's difficult to figure from the outside. But inside you can see that there are so many floors ans sections. The men's section is particularly good, maybe cause it's the newly developed side. Otherwise also it's okay. You can get all sorts of clothes; sometimes range and sizes aren't readily available. They have neat washrooms and also water filter. Parking is also okay, but they charge you ₹50 which can be claimed from the payment counter if you buy something.

Quality clothing, was once a very prestigious store in the city, nostalgic days for people residing in the rural hamlets situated near the city, spending hours in this shop during the vacations and festivals, and the clothes are still useable even though bought a long time ago.

One of the oldest in Trivandrum. The staffs are really well behaved and courteous. There are many such and much bigger shops availiable in town but Parthas still remains the same. Good quality materials availiable at a good price. Only one suggestion is that there are no offers I have not seen for decades.

They have a parking are and wheelchair accessible entrance. The service is really good. U have lift facility in the store. The wedding saree section is really good. They have unique pieces with them. Staffs are friendly and helpful also patient with the customers. Sarees starts from 750-1000 which goes up to 40k+. Men's shirts are available from the range of 750. All ladies essentials are available in the store.

Cafe Sarwaa is a small, budget-friendly hangout spot. The best time to visit is in the evening, as it is an open place with just table fans provided. If you enjoy homestyle cuisine, I would highly recommend this restaurant. Food tastes like it was prepared at home. The ladies that run the cafe are likewise quite sweet, and the service is very good. Snacks and drinks are available. Last time, I ordered chicken nuggets and tea. Nothing special or new, just a normal one. That's all I can say. They have an a shop in front of the cafe that sells showpieces. Recently, they have opened a kulfi and ice cream shop at the front. I tried their strawberry kulfi, and it is now my new favourite.

It's a happy place to sit down with a cup of coffee and your favourite book. But while alot of attention was given to the the set up and ambience of the store the food is not upto the mark. Even the basic Maggi noodles was not cooked well. The options on the menu are scarce as well. The Customer service must be mentioned here. The chechi at the counter was all smiles and welcoming. the handicraft store is a delight to the eyes and you will surely spend a lot of time looking around the store if your into these kind of goodies. All i can say is that you can go to Sarwa for the vibe but not for the food.

Sarwaa is a lifestyle space with a café, boutique, crafts and nice vibe! well maintained ambience and nicely served dishes. they have a vegan pressed coconut milk coffee with honey, which I would suggest. We also brought one mini statues in the sale. The crafts and statues they have may look too expensive but it's not actually. You can smoke in the café (if you want).

This store will leave you with an everlasting love for antique home decors. Amazing collection of clothes , home decor, accessories and stationaries. Best place to pick out a gift. Price may seem little high, but I think its worth the price. A cafe is attached to this store serving mouthwatering foods. Their service is also good. The cafe have good ambiance for chit chat. It also have a separate store for garden decors just nearby. Don't miss this unique store. As far as I understood, they have collected these pieces by traveling around India and abroad.

I prefer shopping here for daily essentials. Reasonably neat and quiet with good number of parking spots and traffic wardens. The super market "palace Heights" has good quality grocery items except fresh veggies and fruits, but it is located below the ground floor and only has stair access. The whole complex has shops at different levels and being quite old does not have lift access everywhere. Most shops are not busy usually but the selection of materials is limited. I believe this started out with mostly building materials shops but some of them may not have survived.

This is one of the oldest shopping complexes in Trivandrum. Thought it has lost a bit of sheen to the spanking new malls, there are still quite a few utility stores in the complex. They have hardware shops, tailors, boutique stores, laundry service and a few more. You can find a restaurant also nearby. The shopping complex is located in an access road near the IT Commisionerate. There's ample parking space on both sides of the road.

I visited this place for dry cleaning at Crystal Dry cleaning. I never experienced such a worst service in my life. Regardless of the extended delay in getting the service done, they totally ruined my clothes. Totally non-experinced staff who are clever enough to justify their wrong doing. The first shopping complex of Trivandrum. Still maintains it customers. Convenient to shop. Fairly good parking facility. A variety of shops ranging from provisions, nuts and dry fruits, sanitary wares, clothing, mobiles and accessories, dry cleaning etc just to name a few. Also has an ATM.

Small, neat, elegant shopping mall of yore days of trivandrum, mostly not crowded, you can visit some medium priced boutiques here,a furniture shop, no restaurants inside though, parking sufficient most days as not crowded, neatly maintained, the grocery shop at minus level is good. Also there is a vegetable shop as well.

I’m a regular visitor to Style Plus! I always buy my colourful bindis from here, they have a wonderful collection with so many designs and shades to choose from. The shop also offers a great range of jewellery, bags, and hair accessories, making it a perfect one-stp shop for all ladies’ needs. A special mention to Ms.Vijaya, the staff who assisted me .she was very friendly, patient, and helpful. She searched for the items I asked for without any hesitation. Really appreciate such warm and attentive service! 💖

We have been Style plus customers for many years. And we always loved shopping there. Offlate we are having a very bad experience when we visited the stationery section in the underground. The staff lady(who is a senior sales executive and I've seen her working there for years- Bindhu) was just following us where ever we went and it literally made us feel very annoying and finally we even lost interest in shopping and that is when I asked her to leave us alone. Please stop this behaviour and take appropriate steps to avoid this as this is causing so much of inconvenience for us as customers and we don't feel like visiting the store even again.

StylePlus used to be a respected shop with legacy, but now it has turned into nothing short of a nightmare for customers. My last three visits have been utterly pathetic. The salesgirls in Planet Jewellery behave as if their only job is to suffocate customers. The moment you enter, they pounce with the same annoying, repeated questions—“What do you want? Take this!—again and again, as if we don’t even have the basic right to browse freely. Instead of giving us the space to look and select, they hover around like shadows, blocking our way, staring at us in the most disrespectful manner, as if we have came there to stole the entire building!! On top of that, they gossip and whisper with each other while giving customers dirty looks. Today one staff literally stood an inch away from my face—if they wanted, they could have just sat on my head and finished it off. That’s how suffocating and insulting it felt. Because of their constant interference, I couldn’t even select the gifts I went for. I ended up leaving with just two clips, not because I wanted to, but because the staff made me so uncomfortable I couldn’t even move around. Two or three of them surround you the moment you take a step—what nonsense is this? If the shop has doubts about customers, then fix it with cameras or better security, not by treating every single person like a criminal. And I am not the only one saying this. I have heard the exact same complaints from many others. Your loyal customers are fed up with the disgusting behaviour in the Planet Jewellery and Toy section. The makeup section is still good—but the rest has gone straight downhill. StylePlus, if you want to keep your so-called “legacy,” fix your staff’s disgusting, suffocating behavior. Otherwise, be prepared to watch more and more loyal customers walk away for good.

This place has kunnil hypermarket, a restaurant 🍴, a kids dress shop and a health club. Kunnil hypermarket provides very good shopping experience with good discounts. Health club is also a good place to get your monthly subscription. Less crowded and economic rates as of now. The restaurant is OK for a quick bite.

Beautiful building, well ventilated, neatly done. I came to avenue center to buy a wedding gown from Vintage Blossom bridals on the 2nd floor. They have an amazing bridal gown showroom..and I would say the best in Trivandrum! And since the showroom was on the MC road it was easy to locate.Vintage Blossom provides good quality bridal gowns and sarees. The designer Preetha Mathew was very helpful in making my gown. Also Vintage Blossom caters to your budget. They have garments catered for different functions too. Overall it was nice experience!👍👍

There is a "Roby's Kitchen Restaurant. Their food is very tasty.... Especially their kotthu Parotta and biriyani... Very reasonable price. .. amble car parking space and on the MC Road side... Everyone should try it....

City is awesome. Very low pollution. Clear roads. Less traffic. Famous for India's richest temple padnabhama swamy temple. Zoo, fish aquarium, museum and palace is beautiful places to visit nearby. Light house and beach and back water also Good. U can take bus that will take a full day tour for popular sight seeing at economic price. Also knows as Thiruvananthapuram, capital of Kerala. We'll connect to tamilnadu, karnataka and North India by train connectivity. AC Dormitory is available near the junction/bus stand by walk at 200-300 per bed.

Trivandrum railway station is a Nice place. That the station is very clean and well connected to the bus service. If you want to go somewhere via bus, the bus station is right in front of the railway . If you need Auto try to book prepaid or by uber or any likely platforms. There is AC Waiting hall in platform no.1. Cloak room facility is also available in the platform no.1. Sometimes some people may feel adorable, please do not leave your valuable items with them while going to the washroom .

But toilet facilities, I saw only pay and use, which was looking by third parties. Didn't saw toilet facilities which is offered by Indian Railway with free of cost.

Restaurant - both vegetarian and non vegetarian - is available. Waiting hall is clean and neat. Adequate autos and taxis are available. Beautiful paintings are available in the walls. The building is artistic.

If you want quality just visit here. And also there is no compramise over the price even if you buy wedding dresses over 50,000. The prices of the dresses are damn high compared to other shops but provide good material. The staffs were very friendly and made the customers feel better. Jayalakshmi If you are looking for some quality sarees in the latest designs, Jayalakshmi could be a good choice. The store is in five floors. The ground floor has churidar materials, first floor casual sarees, second floor bridal sarees, blazers and lehengas, third floor readymade churidars, shirtings and suitings, fourth floor mens readywear and fifth floor kidswear. There is one floor for sarees up to Rs. 15,000. If you are interested in more expensive stuff, there is a separate section. Based on the current trend, there is a large section dedicated for lehengas. There is also an area for men’s jackets, which also has popular brands on display. The sales ladies are ready to drape the saree perfectly on you so that you can see how it looks on you. They also have large mirrors on rollers that would be brought to you. You do not have to go around searching for mirrors. You are taken care of right from the moment you step in. Customer care executives would escort you to the respective floor and handover to a sales executive there. There are floor managers who keep checking whether the sales executives are taking adequate care. There are ladies who keep offering you tea and coffee. I did not take any but I noticed that one of the cups was cracked. Such small things take away the impact of the good work. The shop was quite crowded so there were queues for payment and delivery. They packed our sarees in a large synthetic tote bag. Ideally, they should print their logos inconspicuously in such bags. Very few people would like to carry such bags that announce that it was a free gift from a retail store. Overall a pleasant experience. Parking: In the front about 30 two wheelers can be parked. Cars have parking in the basement floors at two levels. There is a spillover parking too. Valet parking facility is there. Lift is available only from basement 1. If you park in basement 2 you need climb up the ramp, which is quite steep. Best option is to use the valet parking service. Parking is free. However, if you park for more than two hours they may charge Rs 400 if no purchase has been made. I observed that this is not strictly monitored.

Used to be a frequent customer since childhood still hold good nostalgic memories but the last two visits have been really pathetic in terms of the customer interaction and staff behaviour. Though they have good collection but really not focused on sales.

Pros :- 1. Found the perfect clothing for my sister in a gify., 2. Lots of collections available and easy to select. 3. Clean and vibrant atmosphere. 4. Materials are good and 'most of them' are budgetary too. 5. Overall shopping environment was good. . . . . Some cons are :- 1. Had their own parking lot free of costonly for 1 hr, after which the costs are extremely on the high sides... You guys have to understand that the purchase will be surely minimum more than 2 hrs, when coming with family. This parking rule is not so right and the rates are extremely high. 2. In most of the dress ahops, like Wedland, Kalyan, Pooja, Parthas etc, when a customer comes, they will be assisted with a sales person. From helping to choose the floor where the require the clothing at, to selecting the clothing, enquiring about any more requirements for the customer, and so and so., But in here, no one was there to assist us, no one was even caring about the customer (donno about other customers, but for us really this was not such a good experience).

After being ignored by the staff, we left and went to an old nearby shop where we were warmly welcomed and ended up purchasing everything we needed. One of the oldest shopping centre in Thiruvananthapuram city. It's started in 1994 under Thiruvananthapuram development authority TRIDA. In past days kedaram shopping complex is one of the main shopping destination in Thiruvananthapuram city. After the inauguration of Kedaram shopping complex Kesavadasapuram became one of the hot destination spot in shopping. Now 79 shops are running in Kedaram. It's a 4 Storied building with two floors in underground. Some of the Govt departments also start their office's at Kedaram complex. More space for Parking available in the front of Kedaram. Cars and two wheeler will park the available space. Toilet and refresh rooms are available in every floor. But TRIDA not concerned about maintenance of this complex. I think that the no proper annual maintenance are going.

MBC is the largest book store which I have ever visited in the city. They have a spacious parking area on the ground floor and book store is located on the first floor of the building. You'll get both academic and non- academic books here. They also provide discounts which is appreciable.

Probably one of the best book store in Trivandrum, especially for English books. I was really impressed the first time I went there. It might look a bit cramped and congested but you can easily spend a few hours lost in books. Highly recommended.

Fire your caretaker. Doesn't know how to talk to customers and shouts at us in parking lot. No wonder the building is always empty and pathetic looking. Disgusting.

The building is notably congested, with a layout that feels both peculiar and slightly unsettling. Despite housing numerous offices and banks, the overall maintenance leaves much to be desired. The premises lack proper cleanliness and organization, which detracts from the professional atmosphere one would expect in such a commercial establishment.

Karimpanal Arcade provides a decent experience overall, though it has notable cleanliness issues, especially in the bathrooms. Despite this, it is a preferable choice compared to many other venues I've visited. The arcade attracts a significant number of visitors due to popular establishments like SBI, Chemmannor Opticals, Asianet, Indian Coffee House, and Jaihind TV. Improving cleanliness could enhance its appeal further. The facility offers adequate parking for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Visitors can also enjoy a good tea and juice café, an electrical goods shop, an eye hospital, and various other businesses that contribute to increased foot traffic.

Parking experience was terrible. The security employed there today totally insulted us. We were not familiar with the shops and based on the guidance of one of the shop keepers inside the arcade, we stepped outside to purchase one more item. This was after purchasing from the shop. The security guy acted as if we had committed a huge offense by not informing him about us stepping outside when we had parked inside the compound. Ultimately we had to move the car from there and park on the road. Coincidentally we bought the extra stuff from another shop situated outside but still had parking space allotted inside the arcade compound! So all the shouting and abuse we heard from the security was for nothing! Terrible experience to say the least.

Security persons are very arrogant and even if we are coming to shop in the shops of the building they will come and question us about the details of the shop and even ask to talk to the owner of the building to park the car in the compound. Really pathetic.

Such a poor and bad experience which I have faced after buying a churidar for rs 2,800/- (17-05-2025) which started loosing colour and began to tear after one single use in a marriage function. I have approach several times to the shop owner and salespersons for replacement or refunding for the same, as we have only used it just once after buying. But the approach from their side was really like "Gundas". First time my wife went there but the owner was not available, the slaesperson just connected the owner via landline to her, but he was talking very arrogantly and misrespectfully to my wife and asked to come back once he is there. She had requested that going back and come is too much difficult as there is aroung 30-35km from our home. By the time he just said that will only the way, and after seeing the product he will make a decision. After that I have gone there several time and will call him at that time he will say that is not at the location, attending some meeting, somewhere else etc... And today (05-07-2025) as usual as I have some other appointment nearby there I have called him at that time he said that he will be available only after 6 pm. Even though I have reached the shop and requested to the salesperson to make any solutions for me for this problem. At that time also they have approach like we have bought this product for free. And I have informed one of my friend to kindly go there after 6pm as for me it is quite difficult to come back again. By the time also the same scenario, the owner reacted like Gundas and needed the person who bought this to come. Overall my experience was very bad, kindly please don't even buy any single product from such poor and pitty shop which don't even respect customer and not valuing customer satisfaction

Worst outlet of Levis in Trivandrum with arrogant staffs . You can find a guy there with arrogant attitude, while asking some thing he is literally giving answers like shouting and unfortunately he is the store manager there 😂. Trust me you will get no assistance there in terms of selecting your dress . Very unprofessional and pathetic service .

One of the best Levi’s outlets in Trivandrum. The staffs are very friendly and professional. Lots of collections. The lights and ambiance very good for selecting best one. Trial rooms are very good. Little expensive but we can consider that as brand hype and as a lulu outlet.

My recent visit to Levis lulu store was incredibly frustrating. The worst part was the lack of customer service. One of the lady staff naming (shalini) seemed indifferent and unhelpful, and when I finally sought assistance, I was met with dismissive responses and long wait times. Overall, the entire experience left me feeling exasperated and unlikely to return.

Came in today and was extremely happy! Coming in with my mother I had great customer service by one of the workers. I had bought a polo shirt and some jeans and the worker helped me so much. Definitely recommend coming to the store as the workers are polite and will help you as much as they can.

This place is famous for handcrafted items, kerala traditional gifts and spices. It is near to secretariat and the staffs are well behaved. Cost will be on the higher side but the quality is good. If you want to gift some traditional Kerala items, or you are visiting Kerala for the first time, you can visit and have a look.

Worst computer centre in trivandrum. They don't have net connection, print facilities. Very expensive. Rude behaviour of staff. I lost all my data from my pendrive after connecting it in their computer. They don't even care to resolve customer issues. Please don't visit this horrible place.
