This is a clear and spacious superstore with a roomy car park and no on-site bakery. I went there on a sunny Saturday morning. Unlike its Germany competitor located 500 yards down the road, it was slow and quiet, nearly empty. I liked the fruits and veggies that displayed a good variety of produces. Good prices on apples, broccoli and tomatoes (which weren't ripe at all).There is also a wall-length of fresh and dairy products. Meat lovers may disapproce of the lack of choice. Price wise, they are on par with Lidl. Or a tad more expensive. It should have been 4⭐️ review, had it not been for a staffer to instruct me not to take pictures. Hallo Aldi! This is 2024, and 90% of shoppers consult Google and read reviews when looking for a grocery store.

Very quiet when we arrived, plenty of choice and the young lady on the till was helpful, she showed us where the items we needed where.

Can't believe the difference to UK Aldi, the food is of much higher quality, wider range of food too, better stocked beer and wine section, we need more ranges in UK versions of aldi

Great discount store that has a great selection of items from fresh veg, meats, fish , cheese, alcohol and soft drinks. Love they bread cutting machine that customers use. Fresh bread daily along with sweet treats like doughnuts.

Not the best Aldi around but alright for supplies if needed,Just popped into to compare with new Aldi on the way to Moraira as this one car park always seems deserted. As was the shop when we entered. My own personal choice is , visit the one up the road.

The alcoholic section offers a wide choice of cheap wines and other strong beverages. Price wise, it's 20 to 25% higher than what I saw in France. Thanks to weekly bargains and Lidl Plus offers, the attentive shopper can stretch their budget to an extra lenght. There is spacious car park, and a dozen of bicycle racks.

What a beautiful supermarket. Clean and tidy everything you need. Been again to this supermarket and we loved it again this November. Its our main supermarket for our shop in calpe. Lovely and clean, staff friendly even found a nice ground coffee to have. Can not wait to come back next year. Keep it up.

One of the best all round supermarkets in Calpe. Fresh bread is baked and available all day here and also just across the road from Mercadona so a good place for a varied shopping trip!

A convenience store with a capital C, centrally located between the beach front and the old town. They open every day, seven days a week, public holidays included, from 09 in the morning till 22.30. Owing to the narrow space and limited inventory, this isn't the place for the weekly grocery haul. However this store sells the basics to cook a meal (eggs, pasta, pasta sauces, condiments...), satisfy an impromptu sweet craving (chocolate, biscuits, cookies,...), buy a couple of bottles on the fly (the selection of alcohol is diverse) or indulge in Russian pickles (1.5 Kg and above jars). At the time of my visit, empty racks were being stocked up with freshly baked bread (1 euro up for a stick of  bread). They aren't not a bakery but they must have an oven in the backroom. They are very busy on Sundays and public holidays when other supermarkets are closed. Reasonable pricing. Efficient service. Bring your own bag.

Time to time we buy in this shop, twice on different occasions milk products were bad (cottage cheese and kefir), but we did not complain, because...well things happen. Today we bought a drink that was gone bad in the worst possible way (it smelled like eggs gone bad and taste was like the smell just worse,like a proper garbage of food), so we went to the shop to say "hey, guys this product is bad ,check it out, people might get sick..just so you know" . It cost like maybe 2 eur, so it was not a big deal, but the way this situation turned out was a surprise - the male seller and after his colleague almost got sick by smelling the drink, they did not want to try it ,but quite aggressively tried to convince that the product is perfectly fine, it has radish root added and it is this way. I am sorry but I wasn't the case about the uniqueness of the product. In any case you are warned just to be aware that this shop has their own rules and seller is always right, the customer is the not.

Great shop for eastern european food. Great location, it's in the centre of the town, not very large however there's all you would need. Starting with russian, lithuanian food to polish dishes. Large variety of drinks, fish, meats and etc. Very good prices, considering how much we bought and how much we paid.

This shop is a life saver. Yes most people will shop at one of the big boys but not on a Sunday cos they are all shut. Not this bad boy it’s open Sunday and has an amazing selection including the best baguette bread in Calpe.

Great department store, clothing, toiletries and lots of small household items down stairs. Next floor larger electrical appliances and TV's. Upstairs a whole host of things, fridges, baby items, a lighting area, bathroom things, loads. Very helpfull staff.

This is a smallish down-town supermarket. Or rather a large convenient store where one stop by for last minute purchases. It offers the basics but this is surely not the place for the weekly grocery haul due to the limited choice and pricey tags. During my visit, a single till was open, and the waiting line snaked through the shelves. On the plus side, the chocolate danish at 0.59 euro a pop looked really delicious. I shall come back and try it.

Group booking made easy by Juan. Good kit and helpful instructions made for a great couple of hours on SUPs and inflatable canoe. Lucky to have crystal clear water, sun and no wind. Would recommend.

Juan at Olas de Zen did an amazing job teaching a special class of 16 of us on the beach last weekend for my birthday. He set just the right pace and vibe which suited everyone. The sound of the waves, background music and sound bowl at the end had lasting effects. My friends and I all felt fabulous after the session and will definitely be returning for more yoga classes in the studio with Juan. Thank you very much 🙏🏻

Rented a kayak and SUP from Juan, such an awesome guy, really friendly and knowledgeable. Immediately felt so welcome and like you were visiting a friend. Can highly recommend him. We will definitely be back, wouldn't go anywhere else!

Juan was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. Has life vests for kids and loads of equipment. Had great fun out on paddle boards with our 4 and 8 year old.

The highlight of our holiday was finding this! We went out Kayaking around the rock for 2 hours one day and loved it so much we did it again the following day! The owner was so lovely and helpful and even leant us a snorkel mask, we visit Calpe every year and will definitely be adding kayaking to our yearly tradition!

Juan is such a nice guy! During the summer months he hirers out SUP boards and kayaks. During the winter he teaches yoga. We came to Carpe in mid-July. He doesn't have a lot of boards, but don't allow this to put you off. He has the best prices around because he rents out to locals and wants to keep the prices low... even though he is being pressured by his competitors to increase his prices. The boards aren't in the best of shape BUT they are safe and we couldn't find any real issues with them. He insists on people wearing an ankle leach and will tell you the best way to use the board if you ask. During the high season, you may need to phone or pop by with plenty of notice to get a board. I really like to help the locals that pay back into the local community so I think it's worth a little wait.. plus at his prices you can afford to keep coming back every day compared to other companies. We found the best time to hire was towards the end of the day, around 7pm, as the water starts to settle but still warm, and by 8pm its flat. This gives you time to get used to the boards so that by 8pm you'll be standing and racing around the bay and by 9pm you can come in and grab a late dinner. All in all, worth going to for multiple trips on a SUP and a very cost effective price.

Although tucked away in a side street and with an uimposing frontage, this is a really useful supermarket! It always seems to be open, even when all the others are closed. It seems to stock absolutely everything you could possibly want. It's definitely the place to try if you just need one of those everyday essentials you can get at home but struggle to find when on holiday! But it also stocks a great selection of local produce too.

I received a lovely bouquet which my children had ordered. However ,after 3 days two of the Gerbera were totally wilted. I took the bouquet back to show the owner and the wilted Gerbera were immediately replaced. I only gave three stars though, as this is the second time I had to take some flowers back due to wilting after 3 days. But ,to be fair, on the first occasion the flowers were replaced without fuss, too.

I thought this would be quite a challenge because I was calling from the United States... literally on the other side of the world.
