Great relaxing spot for breakfast and coffee. The staff is kind and service is quick. We had muesli yoghurt and coffee. The quality of the coffee is good (not Nescafé) and they do a proper latte. The muesli & yoghurt was also satisfactory and a good switch from local cuisine once in a while. View is also nice, and the place is not too crowded as it can only host about 20 people, which makes for a calm atmosphere while enjoying the views.

A Coffee Lover’s Dream in Jaisalmer We stumbled upon this gem on our first day in Jaisalmer, and after that, there was no question—we went back every single day. This place serves the best coffee we’ve had in India, and honestly, better than most in Europe. We tried a variety of drinks, from the Cafe The Hell with cardamom to a cinnamon latte and even an espresso tonic—each one was excellent. The vegan milk options were plentiful, but the real standout was the freshly made coconut milk—light, unsweetened, and worlds apart from the packaged stuff. The food? Equally outstanding. We had breakfast twice, and both times, it was exceptional. The vegan oatmeal with banana, cinnamon, and freshly shaved coconut was hearty and delicious, and the vegan pancakes? Absolute perfection. Made with puréed strawberry and banana, topped with fresh fruit (all rinsed with mineral water!) and crushed pistachios—so fresh, so flavorful, so good you won’t care that they’re vegan. Picture proof attached! Beyond the food and coffee, the owner was incredibly friendly, even sharing tips for our travels in Jodhpur and Udaipur. And let’s not forget the stunning view—we didn’t catch the sunset from here, but I can only imagine how spectacular it must be. You don’t have to be vegan to appreciate the brilliance of this place. It’s a must-visit in Jaisalmer Fort—a true gem!

I love this coffee shop! They've got a crazy-long coffee list (e.g. coffee with cardamom or... lemon!), but their cortados are perfection. If you're Spanish, you'll feel right at home. The owner must add magic (or drugs 😜) to the coffee beans because it's seriously addictive. And the bookstore attached! Dream come true. Grab a coffee, snuggle up with a book, and you're set. A little precious niche inside the Fort of Jaisalmer! The place is small but cozy and relaxing, you can buy a good book, have a cup of the best and gingery chai of all Jaisalmer and chat with the owner and the people coming here that are all very nice and friendly. It's the perfect place to rest and relax after a visit of the fort or to come for a calm breakfast: the narrow street is also far enough from the chaos of the more crowded turistic places. Very much recommended!

This coffeeshop is a treat and a wonderful "retreat" from the holiday chaos. The coffee was fantastic, Pankaj, the owner, literally makes the best coffee I have had in Jaisalmer. The fruit, curd muesli for breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere of the shop is delightful with his adjoining bookstore and several sitting areas.....the lower sitting area is fun with lovely wall hangings and a great place to sit and visit and share stories with other travelers.

We had a Belgian waffle and a couple of milkshakes. Belgian waffle wasn't good at all. It was just about average. And so was the case with the milkshakes. Doesn't really justify the price. But what I loved about this place was the service and ambience. It was great. Place is situated inside the fort, right after entering from the main gate. Location is great but food was not good at all. We ordered white sauce pasta but the pasta had very bad garlic after flavour and was not edible. Its good place to just relax and sip coffee but not recommended for food.

I had cannelloni with veg and cheese. It didn't have tomato sauce but was very cheesy with a slight Indian flavour, I really enjoyed it. For dessert I had custard with mixed fruit, delicious. A little pricey but good portions and well worth it.

Totally a fun place to hang out. The pizzas are so well made with perfect texture, freshness and taste! The staff is attentive efficient and very friendly! The view of the fort adds up to the whole experience. So try their coffees, freshly brewed as per your taste buds!

1. Overhyped place with pathetic stale food. Ordered pasta and ended up wasting time & money. Pasta was already precooked, they just microwaved it and served it. The menu is highly deceptive with fancy Italian names but the food is worse than roadside stalls. 2. Looting customers just bcoz they are located at the entrance gate of Fort. Charged Rs 40/- for a normal bisleri water bottle and surprisingly the MRP had been smartly erased. When asked the manager had no clue. 3. Avoid at any cost. Not recommended at all.

The food was quite good—flavorful and well-prepared, with beautifully presented dishes. However, the overall atmosphere left much to be desired. While the entrance was aesthetically pleasing, the outdoor setting didn’t quite match up. The restaurant is located on a rooftop, which could have been charming, but the air felt dusty and unpleasant. As night fell, the dim lighting made it difficult to fully appreciate the food. Unfortunately, the dustiness was quite noticeable, which took away from the experience.

The location and ambience are truly amazing — perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. However, the service and food were a huge letdown. There seemed to be only 2–3 waiters, and they were not only inattentive but also quite rude. We ordered the Jaisalmer Chicken, which unfortunately was served rotten. The Chicken 65 was drenched in black mustard seeds — not just a bit overdone, it was a full-on assault on the taste buds. Absolutely inedible. Whoever thought that was a good idea clearly has no clue how the dish is supposed to be made. As for the nachos — don't insult your customers by dumping tomato ketchup and calling it salsa. That’s not fusion, it’s just laziness and zero effort. This place has officially killed any curiosity I had about their mutton dishes. If you can’t get basic starters right, I’m not risking anything else. Worse than anything I’ve had in Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur — even Jaipur street food joints do better. Avoid unless you're into culinary punishment. #please spare the beer experience #

Food and ambiance is good. Can spend quality time as family as well as couples. Prices are on higher side. City view is awesome. Parking can be an issue during high footfall. Important to mention- the seating is on a platform with mattresses. But the wall height is too low. Be very careful with children and there is no protection fence or grill on the outer edge of platform.

No quality in food and very disappointing service. I visited this place today with my family and relatives after reading a lot of hype and reviews. Firstly, we had to wait for almost 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order. The view was good, so we spent that time clicking pictures of each other. After placing an order for pasta, wood-fired pizza, and chicken, we kept waiting for a long time. Even basic things like water were not served, and I had to get up and bring it myself. For every single basic item—tissues, plates, forks—we had to get up and fetch them on our own. Honestly, it would be better if the restaurant simply put up a “self-service” board. Now, coming to the taste of food: the pizza was hardly better than a chapati, yet it cost us ₹650. The pasta, which is usually a favorite for kids, was left unfinished on the plates. I would strongly suggest the owner to work on improving both the service and the food quality, otherwise, there are plenty of much better options available.

This cafe on the rooftop terrace above KB Lodge serves a great variety of fantastic food all day and night, with a great view of Patwa Haveli. Very prices and generous serves. We ate here every day we were in Jaisalmer. You won't be disappointed. Especially recommended for older travellers due to the quiet location and relaxed atmosphere. Vicky, the owner, is outstanding - very professional and kind, never pushy, always attentive.

Amazing place! We wish we had discovered this place earlier. This cafe is on the rooftop of KB Lodge. It is beautiful, with very nice views. The food we had was delicious and the service quick & super professional. We had the veg biryani and paneer pakoras: it was sooo good! And their Makhanya lassi is the best we’ve had! Very reasonable prices and generous serves. The owner was very friendly, professional and not at any moment we felt pushed for anything. It was a great experience and I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Jaisalmer!

It's a small place with seating area for about 15-16 people. These guys come from Darjeeling for 5 months(November to March ) to bring this place to life for tourists and locals They serve old school cakes(slices) ,pies , cookies , sandwiches , tea , coffee ,buttermilk, etc. They Have a variety of cakes and pies which are of grainy texture ...they go very well with hot beverages and make you full and satisfied. The sandwiches as well taste good They make small batches of everything which means everything is made a fresh everyday ! Popped into this cool cafe with its close proximity to the fort to grab lunch. Unfortunately, perhaps because they hadn't had any other guests yet, they ran out of gas and had to replace the tank. We ordered veg fried rice for a quick meal before our safari but hadn't gotten any communication from the staff so we left after waiting an hour to see that they had only just replaced the tank and had not even begun to cook. We still had to pay for our water and tea, though it would have been a nice gesture for them to offer it for free for the wait. Maybe just an inconvenient time but not the best impression.

An unexpected coffe to find in jaisalmer, very cool, at the rooftop of arya havely. We can find all kinds of music, (rock, jazz, rap etc) from every country. Of course also indian music!!! And if u want u can play your music yourself.

Wow, I can highly recommend the stuffed tomato curry, it was delicious along with our other dishes ordered, we left the restaurant most satiated. The atmosphere, by Western standards, is rather stark but hey, we were there for the food!

Order lal mans got a lot of hair in it. Waited almost 1 and a half hour for food. Ordered sweet and sour chicken got 1 piece chicken and rest cauliflower. This is my first time writing a review as the experience was that bad.

We went here 2 consecutive days for dinner and felt like home. The food is very authentic and delicious. You can sneak peek them while baking naan in their tandoori or the old man cleaning garlic. The terrace is very nice and relaxing. We took very traditional dishes like: curry stuffed tomato, kersangri (desert beams), kdhipa kora, garlic naan, cumin rice and they were absolutely excellent! Amit bhaiya is the best host we've had in Jaisalmer and that's say a lot you'd know if you've seen the hospitality here. The right amount isolated location, a beautiful cannon and a city view. Bhaiya makes the best slurpy maggi and is better than any tour guide here. We came here in the afternoon and had a good couple hours just to return for the night view. It's a must visit in the fort.

Went to Jaisalmer fort and then the first thing we did was go to this City view point. There we found this small cafe and the people with big hearts. The conversation about Jaisalmer was just as amazing like the food. We literally had a great time and if you're planning to go to Jaisalmer, you need to go City View Cafe (It's in Jaisalmer fort itself). Trust me you won't regret any of it. The hospitality of the people, the most humble person I've met. Just ask for Pankaj bhaiya over there! He'll let you know everything!

Camel ride, EV bike ride, jeep ride were good. Had done it few years back too. Just don't go for their tents, bonfire & Rajasthani stance shows. Not apt for families anymore. Food isn't great either.

Average deal for high price. Actually, you can book any resort. It doesn't matter. Just make sure you pay RS. 1500 for jeep safari, go for quad biking for Rs 1500 and camel safari. Food is average, tents are ok. Evening programs were ok. Not impressive. Very high priced. Not value for money.

It's located in literally next to Bronze Canon. Super nice view and vive especially in the morning. We can have breakfast with facing rising sun. I arrived to train station early morning so randomly came to Bronze Canon and was just chiling. Then the restaurant man talked me like "Namaste. Masala tea?" and I had unexpected wonderful and calm chilling monents there. It was still 7am that I entered to cafe but according to the google map, it opens from 8am so I don't know actually.

Came across this restaurant while visiting the city view point. We ordered Ker Sangri, Panner and Naan- and the taste was quite good. The views are pretty amazing and you can also request for a candlelight dining. It started raining heavily on the night, and with no electricity, they still managed to give us a great meal.

Ordered Kaju curry which was very average and gravy was not fresh. 2) Service was poor. There were 2 boys who were not trained in servicing customers. Didn't bother to ask for extra chapati even we were the only customers in the restaurant, we had to call them from outside the seating area every time. 3) The staff didn't know about Jaisalmer as we were enquiring about a place and the guy had no clue. This restaurant is located inside the fort. Its has a small, shaded and cozy seating area overlooking the entire Jaisalmer city. We went there in the afternoon for lunch. Had laal maas which was good in taste. This place is a good option to beat the afternoon heat. One can sit and relax. And you will end up taking amazing pictures, as the setup is ethnic and rural.

Came here for dinner reading the reviews. It felt really peaceful sitting at this place. They've got an amazing view. I was keen on trying the sev tamatar, a dish I've been seeing in menus across Rajasthan, but hadn't eaten it yet. It was flavourful and punchy. The service is good too.

Peaceful restaurant with the best view of Gadisar Lake. Menu has a lot of options for cold drinks, which are ideal for foreigners who are having a hard time managing the heat. I have been in twice already and received exceptional service from the staff. They are very chatty and happy to give advice/tips for your trip! Will definitely be back!

The food was exceptional and of the highest quality. We ordered the Kati roll, cold coffee, and sizzler—each dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. Tathastu Cafe is a lovely spot to relax, enjoy the views, and soak in the beauty of Gadisar Lake, even if the food might not be the main attraction. It’s worth visiting for the ambiance, cool interiors, and the complete experience of the location.

Awesome cafe . We just went there as it was near the Gadisar lake to get some good view . But the view was amazing with that their service was really really good . Live music , good food , we stayed for almost 3 hrs . Please do visit this place during sunset . You won’t see the sunset but the vibe is really amazing.

Though the cafe sits on top of the Gadisar Lake and offers amazing view of the lake, but cafe is over-hyped for its food & services. The food was just average and the service is quite lethargic & substandard. Firstly no one is bothered to take orders, once ordered wait time is approx 25-30 mins even for milk shakes & cold coffee, food usually takes 45-50 mins. Also sadly the waiter does not even remember your order and has to be reminded multiple times. After almost an hour and half we gave up on the dish and decided to ask for bill and we left. To my surprise they had the audacity of charging us for the dish which was never served. Quite saddening experience for me.

Couldn’t recommend this place more, a must visit in Jaisalmer. It’s unbelievably peaceful with amazing views right on the lake. We had a brilliant afternoon/evening here having some lovely food and drinks. We had the best service from Vaibhav who was so welcoming and interesting to chat to. We only wish we had more nights here to visit again.

In case you want to taste the best type of chai surrounded by an exquisite view here you are at this cafe. You must add this cafe to your go-to list. Their food quality is decent. Really liked almost everything on their menu (went twice there, tried many items) . Pizza was on the disappointed side but their thali was absolutely delight. The food served was fresh. Sandwiches, hot chocolate, and burger were good enough.

We went there for breakfast. We ordered poha and panner paratha which took one hour to arrive. The pohas were cold and paneer partha hardly had any paneer stuffing. We won't recommend this place for food. The lake side view is nice though.

Go here for the view, the place is right on the lake with breath toking view. Its run by a lady has a good homely vibes to the place,the prices are high in comparison to the surrounding cafes. Food is just average.

Amazing place to relax and miss good old school days. They serve food in different different type of tiffin boxes making this place more lovely and soothing. This restaurant is amazing! In the rooftop of Wonbin Safari Hotel, it has an fantastic Fort view, specially around the sunrise or sunset. The staff is very kind, and we've just loved all the indian dishes. Make a favor to yourself and ask for the Aloo gobi and Malai Kofta. Everything with a very fair price. We certainly recommend it!

Great place to spend the evening, mostly filled with hostel people (the best people imo) so the vibe is great, super social and welcoming. Our guy there Ursha was basically one of us by the time we had to leave the hostel, he was very friendly and resourceful, he was able to accommodate all our requests even the weird or last minute ones

Had ker sangri here and it was delicious! Also the masala sandwich and homemade chips were delicious, so nice to have proper chips. Really chilled out vibe and nice service with great view of fort. All items made vegan

The food is amazing!!! We had breakfast twice and dinner there and everything was delicious! Chola Bhatura and the gutta curry were our favorites. Definitely worth trying. Plus service and the view are also spectacular. Would definitely recommend it.

On the face of it the hotel seems reasonably priced for the standard of facilities but it ended up being very misleading.. they try to charge you extra at any given opportunity. Obscene early check in fee (which I was forced to pay), overpriced taxi service, rude spa receptionist insisting on me purchasing a massage in order to use the facilities even though I was told it was free to use for paying guests. Breakfast was ok but quite underwhelming and the staff were nice but wouldn’t leave you alone. All in all, a really unrelaxing stay. The hotel lacked any kind of ambiance and felt very off season. The rooms were ok but the fridge made a noise and wasn’t switched on when I arrived so the bottled water wasn’t cold. Also no bath robe or fresh milk for coffee. Don’t waste your money, would have had a better time staying at a hostel in town. The manager also asked me to leave a good review at the end which was slightly baffling given the endless negative interactions.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and had the most amazing time! This property is so beautiful and dreamy and the staff are the kindest. Special shout out to the manager, Ankit Sharma and also, Khojaram and the rest of the staff in the restaurant who were so kind to us and showed us all the Rajasthani cuisine specialities which were so delicious. We can’t wait to be back and can’t speak more highly of this property :)

We had a very pleasant stay at Fort Rajwada. The property is truly majestic, beautifully maintained, and gives a royal Rajasthani feel. The services were excellent — the staff was courteous, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Amazing food, with lots of options! And the view is stunning!

It is a really nice place, quiet and the personal is kind. Our bus got delayed and Padam helped us to arrange the new date without problems. The room is really clean and bathroom excellent (clean and modern), hot water, bed incredibly comfortable, lightly rooms and there is a restaurant on the rooftop with tasty food and affordable prices. Laundry is available (20 inr per piece on January 2018)

The place where we find peace. This area is quite and clean environment The facility is good they provide us proper service of dessert and waiters also know how to treat their costumes. The manufacturing of this cafe is like vintage shelters of Rajasthan which give enhancement our culture and the designs are very fine . The arts of make painting of Maharawal Brijraj singh ji is so beautiful and colours filled into it are most sensitive part of the manufacturing. The rooftop view of this cafe is make them special because it is present near the gadsisar lake which is historical place where the tourist come and enjoy their time on boating and feeding fishes. These places don’t really feel like the authentic India, but a coffee from Adonai gives you the best of both worlds. The location is very close to Gadisar Lake so you can wander down to the lake with your coffee or take advantage of the chairs on the street to watch the world go by as you sip your coffee. The service is quick and friendly and the coffee was well made. Support a small local business while still enjoying a really good coffee.

I’m used to having a variety of options when I have my morning coffee. Generally, I prefer a strong coffee without the excessive cream/sugar to give me a solid pick me up. This place has been my favorite when it comes to finding the type of coffee I like to start my day. They have a solid variety of options, so if you prefer something different I’m sure you can find that too. The barista is also very friendly, and made the experience even better.

This place has become my office for the last month. Its location on the second floor has a very nice view of the main square of the fort. I’ve been looking for a good cappuccino for a long time in rajasthan and I found it here! The coffee is great, the food was amazing but best of all was the atmosphere! Cafe daa is a wonderful cafe at the gate of the 12th century living Jaisalmer Fortress. There espresso coffee and food is delicious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is fantastic. I was here every morning for a delicious Americano and mixed fruit musli and curd.

This minuscule cafe is family -owned small business with one of the most delicious laal maans curry you'll get, all made fresh, including the masalas. If you just want to kick back and relax with adrak chai, they got your back too. That's what we did and saw one of the most spectacular sunsets of our lives. One interesting titbit is that this family home featured in the kids movie, "Nanhe Jaisalmer". I checked it out- its true !

This restaurant is good with respect to cleanliness and service and also very less waiting time. I ordered chinese and Italian food here.. usually people prefer north indian or rajasthani but we preferred different. I ordered crispy corn, Manchurian fried rice, farmhouse pizza and french fries.. literally they don't know the recipe of these item..as crispy corn are so soft and having semi solid gravy..in Manchurian there is no sign of Manchurian( they are soya chunks) and french fries are extra soft...and finally pizza with a thick layer of non stretchable cheese that hardly break and unbacked pizza.. So guys do prefer normal food here.

Recently my family and I had been to Zayit for dinner and we had an amazing experience. This place is not much spoken about but you have to try it out. We had all our meals at Zayit only all through out our stay. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a beautiful blend of modern decor. They have 2 seating areas, 1. The outdoor area - which offers a close view of the Jaisalmer fort & 2. The inside AC seating. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was perfect from start to finish. The food was the highlight—authentic and bursting with flavor. Every dish we tried was expertly prepared and presented. The chicken galaouti kebab was particularly exceptional! (Prepared on special request by the chef). Zayit is a must-visit. They are quite reasonable in comparison to the other restaurants in Jaisalmer. Half portion gravy was enough for the 3 of us. Highly recommend this place for a delightful meal with friends or family. I’ll definitely be coming back! We’d recommend - 1. Chicken Lahori (main course gravy) 2. Rumali rotis - soft and melts in the mouth, can be had with any gravy. 3. Chicken platter 4. Galaouti kebabs 5. Lagan dum murg (I don’t remember the exact name) Special shout out to - Chef Safa & the person who served us - Dilip. If you cannot decide what to have, ask Chef Safa and he will make a brilliant recommendation.

Worst service. No water in the tap. AC was partially functional. Foods are below average. Long stairs create difficulty for aged person. Location is just opposite of Golden Fort. Interior of the restaurant can mesmerize anyone. In the evening you can enjoy rooftop tables.

Better service than Thathasthu. At least they were glad to get customers and not grumpy like the former from where we had to walk out. We go potato wedges, muffins, hazelnut brownies and some ice tea and coffee. Nice outdoor seating with a view of the lake. Tip: choose the seats with a canopy to sit. You don't want stuff falling from the tree on you and your food.

This place is beautifully situated at banks of Gadisagar lake. With evening subset enjoying the lake lighting we can have a great snack here. We had French fries, Masala chai and black coffee which was excellent. I liked the masala chai very much. The Charges were moderate and value for money is for sure.

The cafe has a very relaxing atmosphere and is situated in a beautiful setting next to the lake. This eatery is open to the public and is situated directly below a large tree. You could sit here for hours, taking in the ambiance while indulging in some delicious cuisine.

The setting is very elegant, it’s a fine dining experience with authentic Rajasthani cuisine. We ordered the Murg Jaiselmeri which was something out of the royal kitchens. And surprisingly it’s very easy on the pockets. A must visit while in Jaiselmer (more than once if you have the time)

I have come here with my family. The worst experience i got here the food and service. They only got good ambience only. We ask then for bit spicy they pour alot of chilly in it. The taste of dish just got worst with it. The papad i asked in the worst and they give it to me when my lunch got done. They still ask me to take it so they can add it in bill. Never visit this type of restrant. Worst experience. 4000 i have paid for the wost lunch and experience.

The place is a saviour for cafe freaks like us.. Our fav go to joint.. Like they say.. GOOD FOOD = GOOD MOOD The chefs are amazing.. N esp. Chef Shambhu Singh is blessed and has always made a point to make our special days more joyable and memorable with his amazing food and cakes and pastries.. Highly recommend his cakes and food to make your special days extra special..

We visited this restaurant for lunch. The restaurant has very nice decor and the ambience is quite cool. You get a very clear view of the Fort from the first floor dining area. The walls have nice quiry poster frames and the sitting area is comfortable. The thing that put us off is the food, we ordered North Indian cuisine and tried their special Makhanwala Paneer (hope I spelt the name correct) along with vegetables, rice and rotis as they don't serve non-veg. The kids too didn't like the food, Paneer which they normally cherish were not interested to eat here. The restaurant is best for the ambience and fort view.

Yummy food yet budget prices. It’s not a high end restaurant but if you are searching for good food. I can assure you, you will get good food here for sure. Prices are also reasonable. Can not say food was one of the best I had ever but, for the price it is great for sure.

Only order Rajasthani thali here Rest snacks are not at all good, In every table people have left snacks We got half cooked panner than Burnet panner

We had a really nice lunch. Both had the punjabi thali and everything was really good especially the tandoori roti and paneer curry. The restaurant is very clean and has ac and fans. It's a bit more expensive than elsewhere but the place is really nice so I recommend 👌🏼

Best option to eat near jaisalmer fort. Visited a total of 3 times during my 2 days stay here. The staff is very polite and helpful. Clean and hygienic outlet with variety of food options. Service is quick and food is good. It has a rooftop sitting option but I would suggest better sit inside. Reasonably priced and cold coffee with ice cream is a good drinking option to go for.

These are a few things posted but it's actually a giant menu. Everything from lassi to cookies and even a special customizable pipe. Doctor Bhang is super sweet. He had great tips for our visit. This is the only government authorized bhang shop. They have been here 55 years and his family is from here. Keep in mind that bhang may be different than what you are used to dependent on where you are from.

We have tried the Bhang Thandai, Shahi Lassi, Chocolate Shake & Bhaang Cookie. Each and every item we tasted it's extremely delicious and worth a try, the main person is very friendly & cooperative Worth a try and do visit this place for the office Govt. Approved Bhang - Lassi Thandi and cookie

My self Aravind from Chennai, being a non veg lover, I love the veg foods here. Being couple of times with family, my children enjoys the place and food and wants to go back again. 3 years in Jaisalmer, this is the best place we have visited with family for food.

We were hesitant at first to book but we were very much satisfied with the non-touristic desert camp we experienced through them. The whole open road family were very welcoming and made sure we get the best out of this experience. The person whom they send us with to the desert was very knowledgeable and took care of us in an extraordinary manner. The dune was untouched and fully remote. Worth every penny we spent.

Had the best time in Open road Hostel. Calm relaxed atmosphere in such a perfect location. Cafe food is incredible with a big selection. Shout out to Vivian for being such a lovely host. Also Maya the cute hostel dog. Must stay in Jaisalmer.

This was the best decision during our whole trip. Vivian, Aparna along with their daughter and Rajiv as well are such great hosts. They are incredibly welcoming. The place is really good as well and the rooftop cafe has a lot of character in it with so many things like the pool table, the outside area, the reading section, overall it was very boogie and cozy. Earlier we thought about going to sam sand dunes as those are the ones which are all over the internet. But luckily, whole going through reddit we found about open road hotel and the desert safari that they provide. The safari was just amazing. The dunes were completely untouched and clean, which normally you do not find at any tourist places. The night we spent under the stars was just amazing. Overall, Vivian and Aparna's hospitality blew us away. It was the first time for us staying at such place and it was all worth it. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting jaisalmer.

Open road hostel is an excellent choice when in Jaisalmer. The hosts are very warm and welcoming, and they ensured excellent hospitality throughout my stay here. They also arranged an overnight desert safari which was the highlight of the trip. It is also at walkable distance to Jaisalmer fort and other attractions. Definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Jaisalmer

This is a very nice place to stay in. The owner Mr vivian is a very nice guy who will help you genuinely in all the things which you are in need off. Even if you stay here he will guide through everything at a very nominal price.
