Kuku Coffee Shop is a charming cafe located near the old fort in Jaisalmer, offering a delightful selection of brunch snacks to accompany their renowned coffee. The cozy interior and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors to unwind and savor their food. Run by two brothers, this rooftop cafe provides stunning sunset views and an array of excellent brews, including beautifully crafted lattes and refreshing beverages like Jaljeera or Masala Soda.
Perfect place to sip delicious coffee, sit, relax, and enjoy the sunset, the view of the city and the fort too. They have amazing options for coffee & tea! Saffron coffee is a must try! Deepak (Kuku) & Ritesh, are amazing people, very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. A very unique experience!!
Seema B — Google review
This rooftop café offers stunning fort views, especially during sunset on clear days. The shakes and coffee were great, customized to preferences. Clean toilet available. Ambience could improve slightly, but overall, it’s a peaceful spot and worth visiting for the experience.

The owner KuKu is friendly; very knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. I had iced masala latte and mix veggies maggies here. Love everything here, including the amazing view from Jaisalmer fort, definitely the best for sunset viewing. ☕️🌅💖
Jinee C — Google review
This is the best coffee shop in Jaisalmer! I tried the rose and pistachio cappuccinos – both were amazing. The owner is so humble, and the city view is incredible. A must-try!
Vishal — Google review
Great Cafe in the fort! We had the vegan pancakes which were great, and also the rose latte which I loved. Kind owner. Highly recommend
Aya M — Google review
Great relaxing spot for breakfast and coffee. The staff is kind and service is quick. We had muesli yoghurt and coffee. The quality of the coffee is good (not Nescafé) and they do a proper latte. The muesli & yoghurt was also satisfactory and a good switch from local cuisine once in a while. View is also nice, and the place is not too crowded as it can only host about 20 people, which makes for a calm atmosphere while enjoying the views.

A Coffee Lover’s Dream in Jaisalmer We stumbled upon this gem on our first day in Jaisalmer, and after that, there was no question—we went back every single day. This place serves the best coffee we’ve had in India, and honestly, better than most in Europe. We tried a variety of drinks, from the Cafe The Hell with cardamom to a cinnamon latte and even an espresso tonic—each one was excellent. The vegan milk options were plentiful, but the real standout was the freshly made coconut milk—light, unsweetened, and worlds apart from the packaged stuff. The food? Equally outstanding. We had breakfast twice, and both times, it was exceptional. The vegan oatmeal with banana, cinnamon, and freshly shaved coconut was hearty and delicious, and the vegan pancakes? Absolute perfection. Made with puréed strawberry and banana, topped with fresh fruit (all rinsed with mineral water!) and crushed pistachios—so fresh, so flavorful, so good you won’t care that they’re vegan. Picture proof attached! Beyond the food and coffee, the owner was incredibly friendly, even sharing tips for our travels in Jodhpur and Udaipur. And let’s not forget the stunning view—we didn’t catch the sunset from here, but I can only imagine how spectacular it must be. You don’t have to be vegan to appreciate the brilliance of this place. It’s a must-visit in Jaisalmer Fort—a true gem!
Gregory L — Google review
Highly recommend trying their saffron coffee, the speciality its known for. The best time would be to visit in the evening so you can glimpse a sight of the greatest sunset views you will ever witness!

Located inside a cosy little nook in the fort of Jaisalmer, The Traveler's Cup Premium Coffee Shop offers travellers a delicious variety of coffees and pastries. The cafe is brightly-coloured and decorated with paintings of chillum smokers, and the aroma of homemade incense drifts through the air. Prices for coffee vary from Rs 54 to Rs 218.
Omg what an oasis in the desert for coffee lovers. Here we found our first proper coffee in India and it was not only good it was simply fantastic. You find a very big selection of different brewing methods, espressi, lattes and more. The atmosphere in this place is super chilled, everyone - a great mix of friendly locals, local tourists and western travellers- hanging around on cozy floor cushions, reading or chit chatting with each other. Sadly we found this amazing place just on our second last day and only came twice. We also tried the musli, fruit yoghurt bowl and it was very yummy and a very generous portion. The friendly owner is very welcoming and makes you feel like at home. Thank you!!!
Marcel C — Google review
Best coffee shop in Jaisalmer! The owner is very hospitable, and you’re likely to make new friends in their small but beautiful café. Be sure to try the mixed fruit muesli!
Jude M — Google review
I love this coffee shop! They've got a crazy-long coffee list (e.g. coffee with cardamom or... lemon!), but their cortados are perfection. If you're Spanish, you'll feel right at home. The owner must add magic (or drugs 😜) to the coffee beans because it's seriously addictive. And the bookstore attached! Dream come true. Grab a coffee, snuggle up with a book, and you're set. Best combo ever! 😊☕️📚"
Aga D — Google review
A little precious niche inside the Fort of Jaisalmer! The place is small but cozy and relaxing, you can buy a good book, have a cup of the best and gingery chai of all Jaisalmer and chat with the owner and the people coming here that are all very nice and friendly. It's the perfect place to rest and relax after a visit of the fort or to come for a calm breakfast: the narrow street is also far enough from the chaos of the more crowded turistic places. Very much recommended!
Giulia R — Google review
This coffeeshop is a treat and a wonderful "retreat" from the holiday chaos. The coffee was fantastic, Pankaj, the owner, literally makes the best coffee I have had in Jaisalmer. The fruit, curd muesli for breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere of the shop is delightful with his adjoining bookstore and several sitting areas.....the lower sitting area is fun with lovely wall hangings and a great place to sit and visit and share stories with other travelers.
Robin B — Google review
Great ambience and top-notch south indian coffee. If you need a place to hide from the desert sun and have your morning coffee boost, that's your best choice ♥️
Maria B — Google review
Friendly owner. Mixed fruits muesli was big and cheap. Chocolate milkshake with coconut milk wasn’t good. Extra IR/100 for plant milk
Jigme — Google review
We had a Belgian waffle and a couple of milkshakes. Belgian waffle wasn't good at all. It was just about average. And so was the case with the milkshakes. Doesn't really justify the price. But what I loved about this place was the service and ambience. It was great. However, if they can give a little more attention towards the quality and taste, this place deserves a good 5 stars without a doubt. Visited on 21.04.2023 Reviewed on 14.07.2023

Jaisal Italy Restaurant offers a unique fusion dining experience, blending the flavors of Italy with the essence of Jaisalmer. Located at the base of the majestic Jaisalmer Fort, this charming eatery provides a refreshing twist on traditional Italian cuisine by incorporating local ingredients and spices into classic dishes. The restaurant features a simple yet inviting interior and an open rooftop area for outdoor dining with views of the fort.
Located Very unusual and hidden gem on the entrance of Jesalmer fort main gate. Exterior Both the dining area inside as well as outside with an enjoyable view of the fort while taking sip of cold drinks in the afternoon or taking dinner at night, beautiful view. Interior Very well maintained and amazingly decorated with arts and wall hangings. 2-3 different types of seating area to enjoy the food. Food We have ordered sandwiches, pastas and cold coffees, Sandwich dressing style is very different and very tasty, The pasta is also well cooked and delicious, Cold coffee was very good in taste Service Service was good and staff were humble and very polite. I strongly recommend to enjoy your meals with a great view of the fort.

Place is situated inside the fort, right after entering from the main gate. Location is great but food was not good at all. We ordered white sauce pasta but the pasta had very bad garlic after flavour and was not edible. Its good place to just relax and sip coffee but not recommended for food.
Sinu B — Google review
I had cannelloni with veg and cheese. It didn't have tomato sauce but was very cheesy with a slight Indian flavour, I really enjoyed it. For dessert I had custard with mixed fruit, delicious. A little pricey but good portions and well worth it.

Totally a fun place to hang out. The pizzas are so well made with perfect texture, freshness and taste! The staff is attentive efficient and very friendly! The view of the fort adds up to the whole experience. So try their coffees, freshly brewed as per your taste buds!

Amazing food ! It's not so easy to find good italian food in India. You can go there with your eyes closed. I took the Lasagna and I am fully satisfied. I truly recommand it !!

This place is the best in Jaisalmer! They cook italian food but also local food! Anything you’ll order will be amazing (as I’ve been in Jaisalmer for a long time and I’ve almost tried all the menu). And they have the best views of the ford from their terrace. Don’t miss it!
Mireiams2 — Google review
1. Overhyped place with pathetic stale food. Ordered pasta and ended up wasting time & money. Pasta was already precooked, they just microwaved it and served it. The menu is highly deceptive with fancy Italian names but the food is worse than roadside stalls. 2. Looting customers just bcoz they are located at the entrance gate of Fort. Charged Rs 40/- for a normal bisleri water bottle and surprisingly the MRP had been smartly erased. When asked the manager had no clue. 3. Avoid at any cost. Not recommended at all.

The food was quite good—flavorful and well-prepared, with beautifully presented dishes. However, the overall atmosphere left much to be desired. While the entrance was aesthetically pleasing, the outdoor setting didn’t quite match up. The restaurant is located on a rooftop, which could have been charming, but the air felt dusty and unpleasant. As night fell, the dim lighting made it difficult to fully appreciate the food. Unfortunately, the dustiness was quite noticeable, which took away from the experience.
Booska H — Google review
The location and ambience are truly amazing — perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. However, the service and food were a huge letdown. There seemed to be only 2–3 waiters, and they were not only inattentive but also quite rude. We ordered the Jaisalmer Chicken, which unfortunately was served rotten. When we reported it, the waiter didn’t even bother to respond. The cocktail we ordered was also extremely diluted. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Visit only if you’re looking for good pictures, not good food or service.
Arnab R — Google review
One of the best places for food in jaisalmer. We went for dinner and sat in the open terrace, ambience is awesome, it's just directly under an open sky, food is tasty and rates are quite reasonable. You can see the jaisalmer fort from this place. Ample parking is available outside.
Nirjhar P — Google review
The Chicken 65 was drenched in black mustard seeds — not just a bit overdone, it was a full-on assault on the taste buds. Absolutely inedible. Whoever thought that was a good idea clearly has no clue how the dish is supposed to be made. As for the nachos — don't insult your customers by dumping tomato ketchup and calling it salsa. That’s not fusion, it’s just laziness and zero effort. This place has officially killed any curiosity I had about their mutton dishes. If you can’t get basic starters right, I’m not risking anything else. Worse than anything I’ve had in Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur — even Jaipur street food joints do better. Avoid unless you're into culinary punishment. #please spare the beer experience #

Food and ambiance is good. Can spend quality time as family as well as couples. Prices are on higher side. City view is awesome. Parking can be an issue during high footfall. Important to mention- the seating is on a platform with mattresses. But the wall height is too low. Be very careful with children and there is no protection fence or grill on the outer edge of platform.
DIVYE A — Google review
Enjoying sunset with a view of Jaiselmer fort, is the attraction of this place. U have option of Indian and Continental.
ALPS P — Google review
No quality in food and very disappointing service. I visited this place today with my family and relatives after reading a lot of hype and reviews. Firstly, we had to wait for almost 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order. The view was good, so we spent that time clicking pictures of each other. After placing an order for pasta, wood-fired pizza, and chicken, we kept waiting for a long time. Even basic things like water were not served, and I had to get up and bring it myself. For every single basic item—tissues, plates, forks—we had to get up and fetch them on our own. Honestly, it would be better if the restaurant simply put up a “self-service” board. Now, coming to the taste of food: the pizza was hardly better than a chapati, yet it cost us ₹650. The pasta, which is usually a favorite for kids, was left unfinished on the plates. I would strongly suggest the owner to work on improving both the service and the food quality, otherwise, there are plenty of much better options available.

KB Café Jaisalmer is a charming eatery located above the Killa Bhawan Lodge, offering stunning views of the famous Patwa Ki Haveli. The café provides a delightful experience with its range of beverages including Ginger Tea and Italian Espresso, along with delectable dishes like Pesto Pasta. Visitors praise the clean and beautifully decorated rooftop area that offers a great view of the fort, making it an ideal spot to relax away from street noise.
We had lunch at KB after our Haveli visit. We ordered the maggi, potato pakora, masala papad and Marwari tali. We enjoyed and ate everything. I didn’t remember to take pictures of everything because we dove right in. The picture of the masala papad, we had already had a few bites. I don’t usually like Indian food but I thoroughly enjoyed Al of the flavors of our meal. The staff was very nice and friendly. We had asked a question about the thali and our server explained everything on our plate. We would definitely come back and eat here again. The view of the Haveli and fort is beautiful. Have you ever seen a coke bottle that small?

This cafe on the rooftop terrace above KB Lodge serves a great variety of fantastic food all day and night, with a great view of Patwa Haveli. Very prices and generous serves. We ate here every day we were in Jaisalmer. You won't be disappointed. Especially recommended for older travellers due to the quiet location and relaxed atmosphere. Vicky, the owner, is outstanding - very professional and kind, never pushy, always attentive.

Amazing place! We wish we had discovered this place earlier. This cafe is on the rooftop of KB Lodge. It is beautiful, with very nice views. The food we had was delicious and the service quick & super professional. We had the veg biryani and paneer pakoras: it was sooo good! And their Makhanya lassi is the best we’ve had! Very reasonable prices and generous serves. The owner was very friendly, professional and not at any moment we felt pushed for anything. It was a great experience and I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Jaisalmer!

This Jaisalmer cafe is known for its fresh bakery products, including pastries and croissants. It also serves coffee and tea, with some sumptuous breakfast items on the menu. The café is up a bit of a fort gate, but the delicious cookies and honeynut cake are worth it! The coffee here is really great too!
We were happy to find this place, as it was just what we were looking for! The cakes and cookies were very enjoyable and the owner/staff was very friendly. Also one of the only places I've come across a mocha on the menu, which was very good! It is hard to find good coffee so this was a relief.

Don't go by the size of this place. Located right at the entrance of the Jaisalmer fort, this place serves good options for an early morning breakfast (this place opens by 8 while the other cafes open only by 11)..one of the best croissants i have ever had! Coffee was good too. Definitely recommended.

Located at the entrance of the fort. The Apple crumble cake is really good! Croissants are not real croissants. Made with sweet bread dough, however taste is really nice. There is room for around 12 people outside. Take Away is possible.

It's a small place with seating area for about 15-16 people. These guys come from Darjeeling for 5 months(November to March ) to bring this place to life for tourists and locals They serve old school cakes(slices) ,pies , cookies , sandwiches , tea , coffee ,buttermilk, etc. They Have a variety of cakes and pies which are of grainy texture ...they go very well with hot beverages and make you full and satisfied. The sandwiches as well taste good They make small batches of everything which means everything is made a fresh everyday ! If one visits Jaisalmer fort ...this place is worth stopping by for a quick evening snack or breakfast .

Popped into this cool cafe with its close proximity to the fort to grab lunch. Unfortunately, perhaps because they hadn't had any other guests yet, they ran out of gas and had to replace the tank. We ordered veg fried rice for a quick meal before our safari but hadn't gotten any communication from the staff so we left after waiting an hour to see that they had only just replaced the tank and had not even begun to cook. We still had to pay for our water and tea, though it would have been a nice gesture for them to offer it for free for the wait. Maybe just an inconvenient time but not the best impression.

This architectural marvel boasts intricate designs, narrow alleys, and stunning viewpoints that offer photographers ample opportunities to capture the interplay of light and shadow on its sandstone walls during sunrise and sunset. The fort's bustling lanes are home to various shops, bakeries, temples, and residences.
Great food and great staff. In the low season not much tourists and the place is basic in terms of furniture. The food and staff however are excellent and safe for western stomachs! ;-)) we had dinner twice and the stuffed tomatoes were our favourite! Reccommend when you are in Jaisalmer..

Wow, I can highly recommend the stuffed tomato curry, it was delicious along with our other dishes ordered, we left the restaurant most satiated. The atmosphere, by Western standards, is rather stark but hey, we were there for the food!

We went here 2 consecutive days for dinner and felt like home. The food is very authentic and delicious. You can sneak peek them while baking naan in their tandoori or the old man cleaning garlic. The terrace is very nice and relaxing. We took very traditional dishes like: curry stuffed tomato, kersangri (desert beams), kdhipa kora, garlic naan, cumin rice and they were absolutely excellent! Thank you, strongly suggested

Amit bhaiya is the best host we've had in Jaisalmer and that's say a lot you'd know if you've seen the hospitality here. The right amount isolated location, a beautiful cannon and a city view. Bhaiya makes the best slurpy maggi and is better than any tour guide here. We came here in the afternoon and had a good couple hours just to return for the night view. It's a must visit in the fort.

Stunning Views, Refreshing Drinks This cafe is a hidden gem located inside the Jaisalmer Fort, the only living fort in India! Made from cool sandstone, it's a perfect escape from the heat, no matter the time of day. Plus, the location right next to Canon Point offers unbeatable views of the city. Whether you're exploring the fort's rich history or tired after shopping, this cafe is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Head to the top of the fort and enjoy the breathtaking panorama. I tried their Cold Coffee (₹120) and it was absolutely worth every penny! Thick, creamy, and delicious. The Saffron Tea (₹50) was also fantastic - a strong, flavorful tea with a perfect hint of saffron. **Overall** Highly recommend this cafe for anyone visiting Jaisalmer Fort. The views are incredible, the drinks are refreshing, and it's a great place to take a break from exploring, the host was so kind and insightful as well To know more detailed reviews about food, follow me on Instagram - foodwith_rumbumm and for travel rumbum_vlogs

Went to Jaisalmer fort and then the first thing we did was go to this City view point. There we found this small cafe and the people with big hearts. The conversation about Jaisalmer was just as amazing like the food. We literally had a great time and if you're planning to go to Jaisalmer, you need to go City View Cafe (It's in Jaisalmer fort itself). Trust me you won't regret any of it. The hospitality of the people, the most humble person I've met. Just ask for Pankaj bhaiya over there! He'll let you know everything!

It's located in literally next to Bronze Canon. Super nice view and vive especially in the morning. We can have breakfast with facing rising sun. I arrived to train station early morning so randomly came to Bronze Canon and was just chiling. Then the restaurant man talked me like "Namaste. Masala tea?" and I had unexpected wonderful and calm chilling monents there. It was still 7am that I entered to cafe but according to the google map, it opens from 8am so I don't know actually.

The vibe and view from this restaurant is amazing. You can see the whole city from the rooftop. Service was good. We ordered Vegetable sandwich and cold coffee. Sandwich was okayish and coffee had chocolate sauce which was disappointing. Music was very loud.

Pros 1) Location which is near to the Jaisalmer fort canon view point 2) Inside ambiance and decor 3) City and fort view Cons 1) Food quality was not great. Ordered Kaju curry which was very average and gravy was not fresh. 2) Service was poor. There were 2 boys who were not trained in servicing customers. Didn't bother to ask for extra chapati even we were the only customers in the restaurant, we had to call them from outside the seating area every time. 3) The staff didn't know about Jaisalmer as we were enquiring about a place and the guy had no clue. Went with Family in early October for lunch.

Tathastu Jaisalmer - A Café By Lake is a charming restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere and well-maintained surroundings. The staff members are friendly and attentive, making it a great place for families. Nestled by the serene banks of a river, this hidden gem offers delicious cuisine made from local ingredients and global flavors.
If you’re in Jaisalmer and looking for a chill spot with an amazing view, Tathastu is the place to be! Right on the banks of Gadisar Lake, this gem of a place gives you front-row seats to a stunning sunset—and trust me, it’s a sight you won’t forget. The vibe? Absolutely delightful! With live music setting the mood and a laid-back ambiance, it’s the perfect place to kick back after a day of exploring the Golden City. But what really makes the experience special is Vaibhav, the restaurant manager—his energy is infectious, and his recommendations? Spot on! Whether you’re up for a relaxing evening with friends or just want to soak in the views with some good food and music, Tathastu is a must-visit in Jaisalmer. Cheers to good times and great sunsets!

I have been in twice already and received exceptional service from the staff. They are very chatty and happy to give advice/tips for your trip! Will definitely be back!

Review for Tathastu Cafe Tathastu Cafe, located near the iconic Gadisar Lake in Jaisalmer, is a hidden gem that perfectly blends a serene ambiance with modern comfort. The cafe's location is truly picturesque, offering beautiful views that make it an ideal spot for relaxing and unwinding after exploring the city. One of the highlights of Tathastu is its air-conditioned indoor seating, a much-needed respite from the scorching desert heat. The decor complements the serene vibe, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal or just sip on a refreshing drink. While the food was average in taste, the starters definitely stood out and were more enjoyable. It’s a great place for a quick bite rather than a full meal if you're prioritizing taste. Another charming feature of the area is the small market nearby, filled with souvenir shops offering local handicrafts at reasonable prices. Additionally, there are photographers available who capture amazing clicks at surprisingly low costs, adding to the overall experience. Tathastu Cafe is a lovely spot to relax, enjoy the views, and soak in the beauty of Gadisar Lake, even if the food might not be the main attraction. It’s worth visiting for the ambiance, cool interiors, and the complete experience of the location.

Awesome cafe . We just went there as it was near the Gadisar lake to get some good view . But the view was amazing with that their service was really really good . Live music , good food , we stayed for almost 3 hrs . Please do visit this place during sunset . You won’t see the sunset but the vibe is really amazing.
S K — Google review
Though the cafe sits on top of the Gadisar Lake and offers amazing view of the lake, but cafe is over-hyped for its food & services. The food was just average and the service is quite lethargic & substandard. Firstly no one is bothered to take orders, once ordered wait time is approx 25-30 mins even for milk shakes & cold coffee, food usually takes 45-50 mins. Also sadly the waiter does not even remember your order and has to be reminded multiple times. After almost an hour and half we gave up on the dish and decided to ask for bill and we left. To my surprise they had the audacity of charging us for the dish which was never served. Quite saddening experience for me.

Couldn’t recommend this place more, a must visit in Jaisalmer. It’s unbelievably peaceful with amazing views right on the lake. We only wish we had more nights here to visit again.

A very beautiful and well maintained property. Honestly nothing compares to the beauty of this palace. The hand painted walls and ceilings at the entrance and the pool and gardens. The staff was also very kind and professional, they took great care of us. We tried their Daal Bati Churma, and I have no words to describe how good it was. After looking for authentic daal bati in Jaisalmer for 3 days, my craving was finally put to rest by the great chef here. The rooms are clean and have all amenities. On the face of it the hotel seems reasonably priced for the standard of facilities but it ended up being very misleading.. they try to charge you extra at any given opportunity. Obscene early check in fee (which I was forced to pay), overpriced taxi service, rude spa receptionist insisting on me purchasing a massage in order to use the facilities even though I was told it was free to use for paying guests. Breakfast was ok but quite underwhelming and the staff were nice but wouldn’t leave you alone. All in all, a really unrelaxing stay. The hotel lacked any kind of ambiance and felt very off season. The rooms were ok but the fridge made a noise and wasn’t switched on when I arrived so the bottled water wasn’t cold. Also no bath robe or fresh milk for coffee. Don’t waste your money, would have had a better time staying at a hostel in town. The manager also asked me to leave a good review at the end which was slightly baffling given the endless negative interactions.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and had the most amazing time! This property is so beautiful and dreamy and the staff are the kindest. Special shout out to the manager, Ankit Sharma and also, Khojaram and the rest of the staff in the restaurant who were so kind to us and showed us all the Rajasthani cuisine specialities which were so delicious. We can’t wait to be back and can’t speak more highly of this property :)

We had a very pleasant stay at Fort Rajwada. The property is truly majestic, beautifully maintained, and gives a royal Rajasthani feel. The services were excellent — the staff was courteous, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and well-kept, and the overall ambiance added to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaisalmer looking for comfort, heritage, and hospitality combined.

Wanderlust Cafe And Restaurant is a popular spot in Jaisalmer, India. The guesthouse offers comfortable and clean rooms at a reasonable price point. The small restaurant serves delicious meals, and the staff, particularly Padam, are incredibly helpful and accommodating. Guests can also arrange activities such as overnight desert safaris through the guesthouse. The rooms are well-maintained with modern amenities, while the rooftop restaurant offers tasty food at affordable prices. Additionally, laundry services are available for added convenience.
Stayed here for a night with some friends. Room was simple, clean, and safe; the price point was extremely reasonable. The cafe is very cute and food was good. Staff were incredible; Padam was so lovely and helpful - cannot praise his customer service more highly. We went on the overnight desert safari arranged by Padam, and slept under the stars which was such a magical experience. Definitely good bang for your buck - I would recommend staying here when in Jaisalmer.

Not legit. Either the cafe doesn't exist or the location is completely inaccurate. Spent 30 min searching for it and asking locals, none of whom were aware. In hindsight, it seemed fishy with only 5 star ratings and the pics not being helpful. I wouldn't be surprised if this review gets deleted.

Nestled by the tranquil banks of Gadisar Lake in Jaisalmer, Mugs4Buds is a charming café that offers a delightful escape from the bustling city. With its serene ambiance and stunning views, it's an ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploration. The menu features an array of mouthwatering dishes like cheesy Margherita pizza, flavorful chili garlic noodles, and satisfying burgers.
Mugs4Buds Cafe is a must-visit if you're in Jaisalmer! Located right by Gadisar Lake, it offers a stunning view that makes your meal even more enjoyable. Whether you choose to sit outdoors by the water or indoors in their cute, cozy space, the ambiance is perfect for a relaxed meal. We tried the sandwich, milkshake, burger, and noodles, and everything was fresh and flavorful. They also cater to Jain preferences, but be sure to specify exactly what you don’t need in your food—they’re happy to customize it. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the overall experience was fantastic. If you're looking for a great cafe with good food, a peaceful vibe, and a breathtaking lake view, this is the place to be! Highly recommended!

The place where we find peace. This area is quite and clean environment The facility is good they provide us proper service of dessert and waiters also know how to treat their costumes. The manufacturing of this cafe is like vintage shelters of Rajasthan which give enhancement our culture and the designs are very fine . The arts of make painting of Maharawal Brijraj singh ji is so beautiful and colours filled into it are most sensitive part of the manufacturing. The rooftop view of this cafe is make them special because it is present near the gadsisar lake which is historical place where the tourist come and enjoy their time on boating and feeding fishes. We also watch the fountain show their which give us information about the history of jaisalmer how lord krishna blessed them to dig hole and they found the water in desert.

Mugs4Buds – A Cozy Spot Near Gadisar Lake Mugs4Buds is a lovely café located near the historic Gadisar Lake in the heart of the golden city. The ambience is very peaceful, making it a great place for couples, families, and friends to relax and enjoy. We tried the crunchy crispy corn, which was absolutely delicious, and the pizza turned out to be really awesome as well. The red sauce pasta was slightly oily but still tasty. For drinks, we had the Oreo shake and cold coffee—both were refreshing and good. The prices are on the higher side, but considering the location and overall experience, it’s worth a visit. If you’re in Jaisalmer, this is definitely a spot you should check out.

Katrin N — Google review
Often in India good coffee from a coffee machine is only available in the tourist restaurants or cafes. These places don’t really feel like the authentic India, but a coffee from Adonai gives you the best of both worlds. The location is very close to Gadisar Lake so you can wander down to the lake with your coffee or take advantage of the chairs on the street to watch the world go by as you sip your coffee. The service is quick and friendly and the coffee was well made. Support a small local business while still enjoying a really good coffee.

If you are looking for freshly ground & brewed coffee, which would be a rarity in Jaiselmer, you'll get it here at Adonai at Ghadisar lake (right next to the boat ride ticket counter). And the super service & welcoming friendliness from Harish who always eagerly prepared a cup of cappuccino or flat white with a warm smile. Thank you Harish 😊👌🏼

I’m used to having a variety of options when I have my morning coffee. Generally, I prefer a strong coffee without the excessive cream/sugar to give me a solid pick me up. This place has been my favorite when it comes to finding the type of coffee I like to start my day. Café daa is a charming spot nestled within the fort, offering a delightful escape with stunning views of the city. The ambiance is inviting, featuring cozy low seating and soothing music that creates an enjoyable atmosphere. As you sip on their delicious coffee or refreshing iced tea, you'll be entertained by flocks of pigeons fluttering around. Although the burgers may not impress and there are some cleanliness issues with the washroom facilities, this café remains a must-visit for anyone exploring the fort.
Lovely place to sit and relax inside the fort with a nice view of the city. Vibe is too good with low seating and good music. Lots of pigeons flying around in groups makes the sitting even more memorable. The place doesn't get straight sunlight so you can sit comfortably. Drinks like ice tea and coffee were really good. Burger was average and expensive. NO CLEAN WASHROOM! Must stop for a coffee on visit to the fort. Located close to the entrance of the fort.

We spent a lot of time at this nice restaurant because there are just so many reasons to stay and/or come back!! The food is really good and fresh, which is not as easy to find as one might think and quite cheap. What is absolutely great about this place is the view. I mean, Jaisalmer literally crawls under rooftop restaurants, but this is the best view you’ll ever get in town! Come for sunset or sunrise if you want to make the most out of it! But the reason we kept coming back to it is actually the genuine kindness of the managers. We had many chats with them and such a great time! So if there is one restaurant you must not miss in Jaisalmer, this is the one!

Fantastic, fast, and very delicious. Highly recommend! Try to mixed fruit Raita and Kaju curry.
Monica Y — Google review
Overpriced given the taste of the food items here. Shakes are good but other items are just tasteless.
Yash T — Google review
This restaurant is good with respect to cleanliness and service and also very less waiting time. I ordered chinese and Italian food here.. usually people prefer north indian or rajasthani but we preferred different. I ordered crispy corn, Manchurian fried rice, farmhouse pizza and french fries.. literally they don't know the recipe of these item..as crispy corn are so soft and having semi solid gravy..in Manchurian there is no sign of Manchurian( they are soya chunks) and french fries are extra soft...and finally pizza with a thick layer of non stretchable cheese that hardly break and unbacked pizza.. So guys do prefer normal food here.
ASHUTOSH G — Google review
Hi , Food was top notch , we tried Rajasthani thali which was very good , bajra roti was yummy and tasty Service was very slow coz of peak season , this can be improved Atmosphere - was ok but not great … but ambience kept aside food was very good
Sukrutha S — Google review
It's ok ok restaurant once we gave the order. It took too much time to serve. And food was also not tasty as per charges so overall the rating is not high.

Nestled in the heart of Jaisalmer, Zayit India Fine Dine is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With its breathtaking views of the iconic Jaisalmer Fort, this restaurant offers a delightful ambiance whether you're basking in sunlight or enjoying twinkling lights at night. The menu boasts an array of delectable dishes, including their renowned Laal Maas, which has garnered rave reviews for its perfect blend of spices and flavors.
Review for [Restaurant Name] Zayit India offers a stunning view that perfectly complements its delicious food. Whether it’s sunlight streaming in during the day or sparkling lights at night, the ambiance is unforgettable. The menu is as impressive as the scenery. Attentive service adds to the charm, making it perfect for romantic dates or special occasions. While slightly pricey, the experience is well worth it. A must-visit for great food with a view!
Viya G — Google review
Wow such a beautiful spot, overlooking the fort. The food was phenomenal, the best Butter Chicken I’ve had in India so far😊. The service and staff were so sweet too, I felt very welcomed here. Would recommend to anyone visiting Jaislmer. Thank you again!

Affordable and Delicious "For budget-friendly meals without compromising taste, this is the best non-vegetarian restaurants near me. The biryani and kebabs are heavenly!" I really enjoyed the food here I and my friends travel from 300 kms away to eat here. The behavior of the staff there is very good and all the arrangements are commendable.

Amazing food, warm hospitality, and the best view of Jaisalmer Fort! Zahid India offers a 180° fort view of Jaisalmer Fort from its terrace and serves a wide variety of delicious, home-style Indian cuisines—never too spicy or oily. The staff is incredibly kind and patient, especially with kids. Truly a 5-star experience! Highly recommended!

Zayit India Fine Dine in Jaisalmer is a must-visit restaurant, especially for its incredible terrace with a breathtaking view of the fort! Great food with authentic taste. I never thought that this place will be so good. The ambience ,decor is great. Will recommend and if I get a chance will visit again.
Navin P — Google review
Recently my family and I had been to Zayit for dinner and we had an amazing experience. This place is not much spoken about but you have to try it out. We had all our meals at Zayit only all through out our stay. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a beautiful blend of modern decor. They have 2 seating areas, 1. The outdoor area - which offers a close view of the Jaisalmer fort & 2. The inside AC seating. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was perfect from start to finish. The food was the highlight—authentic and bursting with flavor. Every dish we tried was expertly prepared and presented. The chicken galaouti kebab was particularly exceptional! (Prepared on special request by the chef). Zayit is a must-visit. They are quite reasonable in comparison to the other restaurants in Jaisalmer. Half portion gravy was enough for the 3 of us. Highly recommend this place for a delightful meal with friends or family. I’ll definitely be coming back! We’d recommend - 1. Chicken Lahori (main course gravy) 2. Rumali rotis - soft and melts in the mouth, can be had with any gravy. 3. Chicken platter 4. Galaouti kebabs 5. Lagan dum murg (I don’t remember the exact name) Special shout out to - Chef Safa & the person who served us - Dilip. If you cannot decide what to have, ask Chef Safa and he will make a brilliant recommendation.
Juvanca P — Google review
Worst service. No water in the tap. AC was partially functional. Foods are below average. Long stairs create difficulty for aged person. Location is just opposite of Golden Fort. Interior of the restaurant can mesmerize anyone. In the evening you can enjoy rooftop tables.

Love CCD coffee and feel like having it in Jaisalmer, This is your place. Coffee lovers this place offers a great view and amazing food & Coffee. Service is very fast and is not very crowded too. Lake is the backdrop of this place and don't miss to check out the small flea shop right opposite it. Opens at 8 am so perfect place for a morning coffee by the lake

Better service than Thathasthu. At least they were glad to get customers and not grumpy like the former from where we had to walk out. We go potato wedges, muffins, hazelnut brownies and some ice tea and coffee. Nice outdoor seating with a view of the lake. Tip: choose the seats with a canopy to sit. You don't want stuff falling from the tree on you and your food.

Right on the lake and nice and buzzy. We had Mango Shakes which we’d cooling and tasty. Served quickly by busy staff.

The setting is very elegant, it’s a fine dining experience with authentic Rajasthani cuisine. We ordered the Murg Jaiselmeri which was something out of the royal kitchens. And surprisingly it’s very easy on the pockets. A must visit while in Jaiselmer (more than once if you have the time)

I have come here with my family. The worst experience i got here the food and service. They only got good ambience only. We ask then for bit spicy they pour alot of chilly in it. The taste of dish just got worst with it. The papad i asked in the worst and they give it to me when my lunch got done. They still ask me to take it so they can add it in bill. Never visit this type of restrant. Worst experience. 4000 i have paid for the wost lunch and experience.

Simply Wowwwwwwwwww and Awsummm Restaurant.. Location, Ambience, Service, Food, Prices, Menu Variety etc etc. Just near the Sonar fort of Jaisalmer.. Enjoy Sumptuous food enjoying the beautiful view of the fort. 😊👌🏻 It has AC halls on ground floor and 1st Floor. On 1st Floor, there is a cool open terrace restaurant with superb view of the fort. We had many family meals there during our 5 days stay in a hotel nearby. It is a pure vegetarian restaurant and they don't serve liquor. Its manager Mr. Babu Singh is a gem of a person.. Who shared history of Jaisalmer and various Rajasthani traditions with us while giving excellent service. Do visit for a memorable experience! Highly recommended! Actual pics/videos posted. Thanks
Jigen T — Google review
We visited this restaurant for lunch. The restaurant has very nice decor and the ambience is quite cool. You get a very clear view of the Fort from the first floor dining area. The walls have nice quiry poster frames and the sitting area is comfortable. The thing that put us off is the food, we ordered North Indian cuisine and tried their special Makhanwala Paneer (hope I spelt the name correct) along with vegetables, rice and rotis as they don't serve non-veg. The kids too didn't like the food, Paneer which they normally cherish were not interested to eat here. The restaurant is best for the ambience and fort view.
Ujjala G — Google review
Yummy food yet budget prices. It’s not a high end restaurant but if you are searching for good food. I can assure you, you will get good food here for sure. Prices are also reasonable. Can not say food was one of the best I had ever but, for the price it is great for sure.

Doctor Cafe is a charming little coffee shop located near the fort's 1st gate corner in Jaisalmer. The owner, Dr. Bhang, is known for his dedication to making great coffee using Lavazza beans and Amul milk. The cafe offers a variety of hot and cold coffee options, all prepared with care and customization. Visitors can also enjoy local street food like kachori and dal pakwan alongside their drinks.
We had the best coffee and Lassi here ! The people are very welcoming and so nice. You feel very comfortable in this coffee, and the people make you feel like home. I highly recommend this place if you are in Jaisalmer.

These are a few things posted but it's actually a giant menu. Everything from lassi to cookies and even a special customizable pipe. Doctor Bhang is super sweet. He had great tips for our visit. This is the only government authorized bhang shop. They have been here 55 years and his family is from here. Keep in mind that bhang may be different than what you are used to dependent on where you are from.

We were hesitant at first to book but we were very much satisfied with the non-touristic desert camp we experienced through them. The whole open road family were very welcoming and made sure we get the best out of this experience. The person whom they send us with to the desert was very knowledgeable and took care of us in an extraordinary manner. The dune was untouched and fully remote. Worth every penny we spent.

Had the best time in Open road Hostel. Calm relaxed atmosphere in such a perfect location. Cafe food is incredible with a big selection. Shout out to Vivian for being such a lovely host. Also Maya the cute hostel dog. Must stay in Jaisalmer.
Charlie W — Google review
This was the best decision during our whole trip. Vivian, Aparna along with their daughter and Rajiv as well are such great hosts. They are incredibly welcoming. The place is really good as well and the rooftop cafe has a lot of character in it with so many things like the pool table, the outside area, the reading section, overall it was very boogie and cozy. Earlier we thought about going to sam sand dunes as those are the ones which are all over the internet. But luckily, whole going through reddit we found about open road hotel and the desert safari that they provide. The safari was just amazing. The dunes were completely untouched and clean, which normally you do not find at any tourist places. The night we spent under the stars was just amazing. Overall, Vivian and Aparna's hospitality blew us away. It was the first time for us staying at such place and it was all worth it. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting jaisalmer.
