Milk & Madu is a popular open-air cafe in Canggu, known for its family-friendly atmosphere and delicious comfort food. Despite a recent setback due to an electrical fire, the restaurant has undergone a complete renovation and is now back in full swing. The place exudes laid-back island vibes with its thatched chairs, cozy pillows, and high ceilings.
Loved this place! Maya was super kind and provided great service the entire night! They have live music and the singer was great! The vibes are on point and so was the food. I ordered the Summer pizza and lasagna which was a recommended dish and both did not disappoint! I arrived just before 7 pm, so I was able to take advantage of the 2 for 1 drink deal. Great value and quite the delicious meal!

Milk & Madu quickly became my favorite spot in Bali. Every morning I came here for The Madu and an iced latte, and it was always the best way to start the day. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, the coffee is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff are always smiling, attentive, and make you feel at home – a big thank you to the team, you were truly fantastic. The place itself is spacious, beautifully designed, and has a great vibe any time of the day. I have visited many times and everything has always been perfect – from the service to the food and the atmosphere. Definitely one of the best cafés/restaurants in Bali. Highly recommended!

Milk & Madu - Bali Brunch Delight Milk and Madu absolutely hit the spot! I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical about their fluffy pancakes at first—but let me tell you—they were an absolute *HIT*! The pancakes, topped with heavenly strawberry coulis, were soft, flavorful, and downright addictive. 😋 Their brunch menu is packed with great options to satisfy both sweet and savory cravings. From the freshest dishes to creative combos, every bite was a treat. To top it off, their delicious cocktails were the perfect balance of refreshing and indulgent. Whether you're craving a solid brunch or just want to unwind under Bali’s sunshine with great food and drinks, Milk & Madu’s got you covered. The atmosphere is vibrant, the staff is friendly, and the food is definitely worth coming back for. Trust me—you’re going to want to *make room for those pancakes*. If you're in Bali, don’t miss the chance to check them out! Highly recommended!
Nicci T — Google review
This place lived up to the reviews. We really enjoyed our time here. They have their own parking for your scooter which is nice. The interior of the restaurant is really nice, they had a live performance band playing calm music which added a nice twist to the ambiance. As for the food, 10/10. I got the meatball pizza with the shredded cheese all over the crust. I alone ate the entire large pizza from how good it was. They had so many desserts that looks incredible. The staff were so kind and nice. The food came quickly. Oh and they had an offer the day I was there where if you bought any pizza , the other one was free but you just pay the price of the more expensive one. Not sure if this is a daily thing but worth asking about. Great spot to come alone, with family, or anyone really. I highly recommend this spot

We had a wonderful time at Milk & Madu Berawa! The atmosphere was cozy and lively, perfect for brunch, dinner or just relaxing with friends. The food was absolutely delicious , fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A special mention goes to Wulan, who gave us such warm and attentive service throughout our visit. She was friendly, professional, and made us feel very welcome. Her great attitude truly added to our dining experience. Highly recommend this place, amazing food, and outstanding service. Definitely one of the best spots in Berawa!

Lovely spot for brunch. Quite popular when I went on a weekday morning, there were seats but I can assume during lunch the place is packed. The pancakes were quite big and super sweet. The small slide is a plus for little ones and an Arts and Crafts corner is even better for kids. Child friendly spot for parents. Children’s menu is also good.
Ayesha — Google review
Nice place, i like to come back again to try the another menu. The staff, her name is Maya very nice. She will help you, if you ask for some menus she will answer with her sweet smile. There's a live music also. Nice band, like the songs. I came during dinner. Gonna try to come during brunch or lunch, to feel another vibes. Ah even the security & cashier also very nice, don't know their name. Recommended also for families. But parking area only fits for motorbike, not sure where to park if you come by car. Thumbs up for Milk & Madu 💃🏼

We’ve been coming to Milk & Madu for breakfast every day, and it’s always amazing. Today we decided to try lunch for the first time, and it was just as good. We had the smashed burger and the açaí bowl, and both were delicious. The food is fresh and full of flavor, and the service is always friendly. Citra was our waitress today and she was wonderful, so kind and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the kind of place you never get tired of visiting. Definitely one of our favorite spots!

Famo Cafe Kayu Putih offers a spacious semi-outdoor concept with a view of lush green rice fields, making it an ideal choice for family getaways and for those looking to work from a cafe while enjoying the serene surroundings. Situated near the oldest tree on the island, this cafe has a unique charm. The extensive menu caters to various tastes, offering exquisite coffee and delightful desserts. Visitors have praised the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere that allows for relaxation while enjoying a meal.
The view is amazing,it's located next to the rice field and the weather was breezy, cold, calm even though it was raining when i came. The price quite affordable, taste good, friendly staff, clean table and chair. It's recommended when you want to chill in the middle of green view..😄
Hendratmo B — Google review
perfect for a relaxed hangout with friends or a me time. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. everything I ordered was fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, I visited during the rainy season, so the view of the rice fields wasn't as impressive as it might be on a sunny day. However, the indoor ambiance made up for it, and I still enjoyed my time there. Whether you're looking for a chill place to spend some time, Famo Cafe is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend! 🍃🌿

This Cafe is among the best I've been to, if you get a nice day it's perfect, you can quietly watch over the fields and listen to the birds. You can also see the 700 year old tree better than entering the attraction. The coffee is very good and the staff are all very polite and helpful. Recommended to all.
Sam C — Google review
We jumped in for a coffee and tea. The Guyan coffee and the lychee tea were really tasty, and the view from the terrace is quite impressive.
Balázs B — Google review
We really wanted to like this place but the food was super hit and miss. Also know that they give free dessert for a "good review" which explains the multitude of 5 star reviews, but still the place was okay and the overall experience was good because of the nice area and friendly staff. What we ordered: Carrot soup - 4/5 - really good and peppery. Sausages - 2/5 - the texture was weirdly smooth all throughout and was lacking in flavor, except for the sweet chili sauce that came with it, but not from the sausage itself. We didn't finish this one. BLT sandwich - 4/5 Spaghetti Bolognese - 4/5 - very good, a bit small and could have used a bit more beef or cheese, but overall taste is great! Chocolate funnel/lava cake (forgot the actual name) - 2/5 - the texture of this was really weird, it's not like eating a cake at all. It was much more mushy, like raw pancake batter, and the chocolate was more sugar than actual cocoa, would not recommend. Black sticky rice with ice cream - 2/5 - this is not for us, and we only took a few bites but gave up on it. The flavor was weird and not sweet/dessert like. Perhaps we're just not used to it, but definitely would not recommend. Overall we still had a nice time and half the items hit the spot.

I was wondering where to hang out and get coffee in the area and saw this place in google map, so I decide to explore and give it a try. the road to the place is quite adventurous with green lush into the village, but the location was surrounded by rice paddies and wonderful. they have big spaces for cars and bike to park. the view of this place was 180 degree nature views... you'll see a giant eucalyptus tree and rice field everywhere.. birds chirping, cicadas croaking, birds and dragonflies flying.. its so beautiful and wonderful, loving this place. they have good amount of seatings and grass areas to lay low with the nature. the staff is very warm and polite, i ordered some food for breakfast and a cup of coffee. The food was quite good, I love their omelette and white sourdough, their coffee was perfect to enjoy with the views and mood. overall, its a perfect place to work, chill, read, nap, contemplating, grasping nature and fresh air (not recommended after the harvest season due to the burnings). I would bring my family, friends and even a date to come. I could spend hours in this place.. well done!!

Never thought will find a beautiful place in the middle of paddy fields. Increadible
Latifah A — Google review
Incredible vibes and atmosphere... Especially after 6 PM. Reasonable pricing, mostly western style dishes and drinks but adjusted into local taste preference. The staff are very nice and polite. Most importantly, there are just so many items and selections on the menu, and you can even customize your orders. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

The Rustic Bali in Tabanan is a charming spot for those seeking a rural escape. Surrounded by beautiful green rice fields, it offers a perfect setting to unwind and enjoy the serene countryside. Located amidst the Jatiluwih rice terrace trekking area, it's an ideal place to stop for breakfast or brunch after exploring the picturesque landscapes on a 3km or 5km walk. The cafe's delightful offerings include delicious pisang goreng and refreshing iced coffee.
What a great evening. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Food was tasty and well presented. There was a singer who made our evening, he played music we all enjoyed. The staff got us all up dancing, along with a Russian couple, and we all given local cocktails, which was very nice. Even the kitchen staff were dancing. It really made our evening.

Went there for dinner. The food, the service and the ambience was absolutely impeccable. We went back for lunch and dinner the next day itself. I would definitely recommend this place to my fellow travelers.
Abhimanyu B — Google review
We stopped at the restaurant while walking along the red trekking route. If you start your hike from the Pura Dalem Desa Jatiluwih Temple, it’s an ideal spot to relax after your walk. For those starting at the tourist information center, it's conveniently located at the beginning of the trek. The view overlooking the rice terraces is simply breathtaking. Unfortunately, they were out of rice when we arrived, so we opted for noodles instead. The food was good, and despite this small inconvenience, I would definitely recommend this place.
Alexander L — Google review
We really wanted to like this place based on the good reviews. Beautiful view and very friendly staff. Unfortunately the coffee and food both were awful 😞 coffee latte was watery, fruit juices were mixed with ice or water even we asked not to. Food was made cheapest possible with a tiny amount of watered down peanut sauce. Poorest quality- and for high prices!! Over 400k IDR 😳. Unfortunately not recommended. At all.
Julia B — Google review
Omg what a great find! We just stumbled onto this gem in the rice field! We were driving back from lovina beach and we decided to check out the rice field since it was along the way back! We ordered smoothies, coffee and chicken wings! Yummy ! My kids enjoyed the view, the vibe, and the friendly dog that managed to get many chicken wings!!! Skip the spring roll- wasn’t that nice ! I highly recommend this place ! It’s not really child friendly - no child seat, but come on, it’s worth checking out !

The best restaurant / coffeeshop in the Jatiluwih region! We went there twice for breakfast and coffee and it was amazing 🥰 We loved smoothie bowl and pancakes. It’s situated in the middle of rice terraces so the views are the best of the best! Thank you for great food and good service.

Nice place to dine in with ricefield view. The foods are also delicious. A bit crowded at lunch time, but still okay they have plenty of seats. Gado-gado is good for vegan option, i just felt it didn't taste like the one i usually eat in Surabaya.
Sheilly Y — Google review
A wonderful place to try Balinese cuisine along with other western cafe menu with a calming view. However, if there's an event in the town, it can be VERY NOISY (but that would be the same everywhere you go in the town). ORDERED MENU 1. Ginger Tea (19k): that tastes like residue of black tea. It was served with fresh ginger. I crushed ginger that made taste better. 2. Bubur Ayam Bali (35k) : A chicken porridge served with different toppings and condiments. I ordered it to be made without salt. Tasted nice! 3. Black Tea (19k): It tasted like ginger tea I first ordered without ginger lol Not a fan of getting hot tea served in a glass... Indonesian teas are wonderful and can be a nice option for profits if made correctly. So sad :( 4. Bubur Sumsum (30k). I ordered this Indonesian dessert after searching on Google. I received something completely different from what I was imagining. It wasn't my style... Even with the English translated menu, I had to google to see what the menu was. It would be nice to have pictures on the menu. Overall, it was a positive experience!

Seniman Coffee is a trendy café located in Ubud, offering a diverse selection of local coffees and cuisine. The establishment stands out as it provides a unique coffee experience rather than just being another typical coffee shop. Referred to as a studio instead of a café, Seniman Coffee boasts well-trained baristas who have received extensive instruction from Taiwanese coffee experts. Upon entering the studio, visitors quickly realize there is much more to learn about coffee than they initially thought.
Visited in Aug 2025 One of the best coffee places in Ubud. Tried a few cold brews which were quite good. Seniman also gives a small biscuit/cookie with every beverage you order, which is quite a nice gesture. I also packed some beans for home. Would definitely recommend a visit if you’re staying in Ubud.

📍 Coffee with a Creative Twist in Ubud? ⬇️ ✨ Save & Share this spot ✨ If you’re in Ubud and love coffee, Seniman Coffee is a must-visit! ☕️🌴 The vibe is super chill with jazz music, breezy seating (both AC & non-AC), and a creative menu full of unique signature drinks. I tried the Wild Side — a mix of cold brew, coconut, honey, and lime — and it was honestly one of the most refreshing and unforgettable coffee experiences I’ve ever had in Bali. 🍯🥥🍋 The cold brew sampler and nitro espresso mocha are also next-level! And don’t even get me started on the croissants 🥐… perfect. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but the quality, atmosphere, and attentive staff make it worth every rupiah. A gem in Ubud for true coffee lovers. 🌿 👉 Have you ever tried a coffee that surprised you with its flavor? We had a wonderful time at Seniman Coffee Ubud! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, and the coffee is simply excellent. From the aroma to the flavor and presentation, you can really tell that they take their craft seriously. It's a perfect spot to unwind, have a good conversation, or just enjoy a well-made cup of coffee. A special thank you to Saman for the warm and attentive service. They have a coffee house , a music store and a restaurant all in one place. You can eat while purchasing CDs and music merchandise or you can look at them while drinking your coffee. They also conduct coffee making workshops. We ordered spring rolls, a smoothie , a tart which were good.We also ordered a vegan dessert which wasnt much good. They have valet parking service, which is very good because we couldnt see any space to park our scooter.

- Very cool vibe and atmosphere - They have a lot of signature coffees and menu items. - Tried the Wild Erness which is a coffee topped with white chocolate cream and it’s pretty good but it tastes more like dessert rather than a wake up juice, in case that’s your thing. - They have AC and non-AC area but even the non-AC area is full of breeze so it was nice to hang out there. - A little pricey but I feel like it’s worth it because I always enjoy my time and my drinks there

Came across this coffee place on the internet and based on the photos gave it a shot….. WOW, the atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly. I ordered the Define Void…. Strawberry based tea, delicious, and my gf had the affogato 5 elements, which came with two coffee testers. As you can see, very well presented. And most importantly….. THE COFFEE IS GREAT☕️☕️

Five stars to this place for authenticity, creativity, culture and use of recycled items . Enjoyed sitting on the plastic rocking chairs - they were incredibly comfortable! There is a large table at the front where guests can bring their laptop and work. Plenty of plug points . The middle of the shop has retail items for sale showcasing local and international artists . The food prices were reasonable and food tasted good too . Service as prompt and with great vibes .

Known for its fabulous salads and Australian-imported latte glasses, Watercress prides itself on serving wholesome international cuisine made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
I made a good choice by picking this restaurant based on Google Review 😆 So glad I decided to spend my afternoon here. I picked ‘build your own salad’ as I want to load more on veggies and it didn’t disappoint. The tempe and tofu were tasty too! Had Iced long black for drink and it was okay. The restaurant was cozy and has lots of fan - important point especially in the afternoon.

Service was super friendly and helpful. I was juggling my two kids alone. Always with a smile and attentive. The food was healthy, fresh and farm to table. Simple and delicious we order the coconut passion fruit pancakes, eggs Benedict with a side of bacon, avocado seeds and roasted mushrooms. All of it was really well done while easy, the ingredients were perfect. Decor is clean, minimalist and filled with light. It’s a great start of the day and fits in perfectly with the Bali vibes.

I visited this lovely lunch spot during my trip to Bali, and the food truly stood out. The place itself was very cute. Even though i don’t like pancakes, these were unforgettable, thick, soft, hearty, yet sweet and chewy in the best way. I still think about them. We also tried the falafel, which, while not entirely authentic, was surprisingly tasty and refreshing. The vibe and service were a bit flat but that wasn’t a big problem. And even though they were very polite. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Watercress Batu Belig is an incredible place, perfect for breakfast or lunch. We decided to have brunch and tried a variety of delicious dishes on the menu. They offer a wide range of coffee and tea options, and we opted for long black coffee, which was absolutely delightful. Uma, our friendly server, was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the drink and menu options. The entire staff was kind and attentive. The Boujee Scramble was a standout dish. The whipped truffle eggs were perfectly cooked, with the ideal balance of scallions and mushrooms. Sourdough toast is an excellent accompaniment and there are several options. We also enjoyed scrambled eggs, roasted tomatoes, bacon, and ham, all served piping hot. It was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a long time. Feeling adventurous, we decided to order something extra. Uma’s recommendation was spot on—the Coconut & Passion Fruit Pancakes (2) are a must-try! The pancakes were incredibly light and fluffy, and the passion fruit and candied coconut toppings were simply divine. The coconut ice cream added the perfect finishing touch. Here are a few recommendations: 1. Don’t miss out on Watercress—you won’t regret it! 2. Look for Uma—she is a great host and will steer you around the menu properly. 3. Order the pancakes—you won’t regret it! We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Watercress Batu Belig, and we want to express our deepest gratitude to Uma and the staff for making our visit so memorable.

Satisfied my craving for Açaí bowl even though it wasn’t the morning. They were kind enough to check and make it for me. Other menu items looked great too and I ended up getting lamb kofta as well. It was great! Atmosphere was nice and relaxed. I will return soon to try other items.

Watercress is the best place to have classic egg dishes. I started my day with Benny Brunch - Two perfectly poached eggs over toasted english muffins with spoons + spinach + avocado + sauteed mushrooms + fruits along with Iced Long Black Coffee. The way everything came together as a dish was a treat to the eyes, taste buds & my belly.

Crate Cafe is a trendy and airy spot in Canggu, known for its vegetarian-friendly brunch and breakfast options, as well as smoothies and espresso. The restaurant follows a farm-to-spoon principle, offering organic-oriented dishes displayed on a daily specials wall instead of a printed menu. It's popular among locals, expats, and tourists who appreciate its healthy offerings.
First time visiting, a close walk to my accommodation, arrived before 7 am so it was very quiet and quick service. I walked by yesterday and it was very busy, so I decided to go today and check it out. Asked the barista about the menu and he was kind enough to provide some suggestions. Huge variety. Ordered cappuccino and a smoothie bowl. Great atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to provide a serviette with the cutlery 🙏🏼

Very disappointing overall. The portions are impressive and beautifully presented, but the quality isn’t there. We waited over 30 minutes to get our plates… reducing portion size but improving service speed might help. Giving 2 stars because I’m a mango smoothie fan, and theirs was easily the best in Bali.

Great place for morning breakfast. Great vibe and the food portions are big. Can be a bit busy and noisy but I think that adds to the atmosphere of the place. Ordering at the counter is quick and simple. Then you just need to find a seat and they will deliver the food to you. Perfect for small or big groups as they have different table sizes.

Review of Crate Café I had an average experience at Crate Café. They only offer matcha with sugar, but to be fair, they were transparent about it from the start, which I appreciated. I ordered the breakfast plate—nothing special. The bread was quite average and the eggs were slightly undercooked. I also asked for no rocket salad, but it was served on top anyway, which was a bit disappointing. The prices are okay, and overall you get what you pay for. Not bad, but nothing that makes me want to return.

It might not be the most refined restaurant in Bali, but it’s become my go-to spot — the food is super tasty and the portions are generous! In terms of value for money, I haven’t found anything better in Canggu. They’re pretty quick too, so I don’t get the negative reviews… The best!

Soooo disappointed! This ice coffee keeps melting. And this look terrible. How they can think the drinks keeps melting gonna be look good? So terrible aesthetics! The customer just needs drinks and food tastes good and provides good service! That all we need! Sooo bad! Pls don’t order this ice coffee frappe. Tastes like water. I can’t finished. I rated it -15 out of 10(minus 15)

Crate serves up massive portions, every dish is packed with flavour and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is lively and full of energy. Easily the best brunch spot I found on the island. No doubt about it. Perfect for starting your day right.

Shady Shack is a charming and laid-back cafe that offers a variety of inventive vegetarian dishes and delectable sweet treats in a rustic-chic setting. The menu features an extensive selection of healthy smoothies, all-day breakfast options, burgers, wraps, and nasi goreng. Notably, the Shady Lasagna is a must-try with its flavorful combination of grilled eggplants, zucchini, and spinach.
I had lunch at The Shady Shack in Canggu, Bali, a beautiful vegetarian café and bar, and it was a fantastic experience. The Breakfast Burger was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned, paired with a delicious homemade tomato sauce. The Jamu Jamu was honestly the best I had in Bali — perfectly balanced with a mild, pleasant taste and none of the usual bitterness. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was incredibly cozy, surrounded by lush greenery. I especially loved the relaxed couch seating, which made the whole vibe feel peaceful and chill. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a vegan-friendly restaurant in Canggu or just a relaxing spot for healthy, plant-based food in Bali.

Shady Shack quickly became one of our favorite spots in Canggu. The setting feels calm and leafy, with a relaxed energy that makes it easy to linger over breakfast or a late lunch. It is the kind of place where the music sits in the background, the staff greet you with a smile, and you never feel rushed. The menu leans fresh and vibrant, and everything we tried tasted clean and satisfying without feeling plain. Service was friendly and efficient, and the portions were generous enough to share. The smoothie bowls were excellent. Creamy bases with bright fruit, crunchy toppings, and a good balance of sweetness made them feel both indulgent and light. We also really enjoyed the Mediterranean platter, which was full of color and texture. The grilled vegetables were charred just right, the dips were smooth and well seasoned, and the bread was warm and soft, perfect for scooping. It is the sort of plate that works for a light meal or for sharing while you sit and chat. Prices felt fair for the quality and the atmosphere, and everything arrived fresh. Overall, this is an easy five stars from us. Shady Shack delivers on what people come to Canggu for, a beautiful space, healthy food that still feels special, and a pace that lets you relax. We would happily return for more bowls, another round of that Mediterranean platter, and a slow afternoon in the shade.

We discovered this lovely vegan restaurant tucked away on a quieter street in Canggu, and it instantly became one of our favorites. The location is perfect – peaceful, beautifully maintained, and such a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal away from the busy main roads. The staff were extremely kind and attentive, and everything was spotlessly clean, which made the whole experience even better. We ordered the jackfruit burrito, sweet potato wedges, and a fresh salad – all of it was absolutely delicious and prepared with great quality. The prices are on the higher side, but totally justified by the taste, freshness, and atmosphere. For anyone vegan (or simply looking for amazing plant-based food), this spot is definitely a must-do in Canggu. We can truly recommend it from the heart! 💚🌱

Absolutely loved this spot! 🌿 The tropical vibes are unreal—lush leafy seating, relaxed atmosphere, just so inviting. The food is a feast for the eyes and the taste buds: vibrant, colorful, and incredibly fresh. Even as a non-vegan, every dish was packed with flavor and totally satisfying. Generous portions, happy tummies, and a seriously chilled, fun night out. Highly recommend! 🌺✨
Rosie B — Google review
It’s one of those places that has consistent quality and never disappoints. I have over 100 food photos from here (starting from 2022), and I can assure you — today everything was basically the same as three years ago. That’s a huge achievement if you think about it, especially compared to similar places around Bali. It’s the spot with the best healthy breakfasts I’ve found — and I’ve been to quite a lot of them. I know pretty much the whole menu by now, and the smoothies are especially good. My favorites are Island Life, Choc Tops, and Startup — I just can’t decide which one to get each time I’m here. There’s also this really nice outdoor area that somehow calms you down — you just want to stay there and keep coming back. Whenever I’m staying in this area, I go to Shady Shack for breakfast about 90% of the time. The staff is almost the same as it was three years ago, which is another incredible achievement. I just hope this place keeps going and lives forever — because it’s already something truly special.

Our favorite place to eat !! We live here and can’t get enough of it! The wraps are all ver good! The portions are great and everything is fresh! You can request to have them cook in coconut oil ! Special thanks to Lia always remembered our order! Everyone here is super sweet and awesome! Remember to tip!!! Must order Crispy Mushroom Vegan Boss Burrito ( so filling ) !!! The food, atmosphere, and service here were absolutely fantastic. Even though the place was completely packed both inside and outside, my smoothie bowl still came out quickly. It tasted amazing with their homemade granola and looked beautiful too. The combination of great flavors and gorgeous presentation really made it special. I'd definitely recommend this spot.

We had a lovely breakfast at KYND Cafe and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I ordered the Porridge Bowl, which was absolutely delicious—comforting, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We also tried the Big Breakkie with scrambled tofu, and it did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and well-seasoned. The hot chocolate was a vibe on its own—rich, smooth, and perfectly warming. The cafe itself has a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a wholesome meal. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend visiting KYND Cafe if you’re in or around Seminyak!

Very instragramable breakfast experience with great ambiance. Visited with family including two kids, vegan is not usually my thing but the food was good. I really liked their smoothy bawls and milkshakes. The full English breakfast was alright including the pancakes. Overall a decent enough place for one of your breakfasts in Seminyak. Recommended. The place can be busy and most people spend a lot of time taking pictures and videos of their food than eating it.

We visited Kynd a couple of times on our trip and both times the food did not disappoint - both food and drinks were delicious. The staff are very welcoming and service was great. I purchased the Kynd Cookbook so I can make my own pink pancakes when we get home. Highly recommend!

I knew it would be good but aaaah it was amazing. My berry bowl was so delicious & so pretty to look at. The whole place has such a lovely vibe & I’m obsessed with the colour palette. It’s really hot outside but a seat was made available inside & they let us know we could move. Man that air con was refreshing!! Will definitely be coming back (hopefully several times) before we go home!

The yummiest vegan food in Seminyak. Must try the Zinger Burger it was just delish with thin and crispy fries that come with it. The falafel shawarma was also good. Espresso martini was well made and the perfect accompaniment to the meal. The staff was very friendly and warm. Would highly recommend this place to all vegans and vegetarians.

Nude is a popular cafe located on Jalan Pantai Berawa in Canggu, offering a relaxed atmosphere and great people-watching opportunities. The cafe's open-plan layout attracts digital nomads looking for a place to enjoy smoothies and vegan dishes while working on their laptops. With its large outdoor seating area, Nude is perfect for visitors who want to savor gluten-free options, big breakfasts, burgers, and bowls.
Friendly and efficient staff. Always smiling and checking that all is good with your meal and dining. Location is nice and relaxed. They have indoor aircon seating area but there are fans all around the restaurant. Food is amazing and delicious. Seating area is nicely laid out so if you get a spot in front you can watch the everyday busyness go by in front.

What a spectacular breakfast spot in Bali. Love Nude! Couldn’t be more impressed with the warm welcome by all the staff, so nice to see a warm workforce working together and making their guests feel good! Keep up the good work and attention to detail in simply seating your guests from the time they walk in. I did have a ginger shot which was delicious, followed by a long black could have been stronger coffee and the protein smoothie which was yum! I’d surely recommend the truffle scramble! It was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be visiting more often!

Nude Cafe Berawa. This is one of the best breakfast place in Bali especially in terms of quality and creativity of the food and the friendliness of the service. - Banana & Peanut Butter Pancake: Fluffy yet moist inside, great butter aroma, slight crisp outside and balanced with thin layer of peanut butter (medium sweet) and dipping honey on side and (of course) fresh cut banana. This was 4.9 stars for sure! - Smashed Avocado: upon first bite, I can sense fresh ripe avocado balanced with feta cheese, fresh fragrant coriander, lime and olive oil. 4.9 star. - The side egg (sunny side up) was fried to perfection (runny egg yolk, set/ firm white and some crispy edges). 4.9 stars - long black. Full bodied, nutty and served with good layer of milky brown crema. 4.8 stars - You re berry special. The yogurt blends well with all if the sweet berries. 4.8 stars As for the service, despite busy restaurant, we were greeted in a very warm and friendly manner. We were properly seated by the host with smiles. Foods and drinks were served within reasonable amount of time (despite very busy kitchen). Must must try while in Bali especially in Canggu. All in all, this place deserves a rating of 4.9/5.0 stars!

delightful cafe and had a wonderful experience! 🤩The staff, Dewi, were incredibly nice and attentive. I tried their sunshine bowl, which was vibrant and flavorful, packed with fresh ingredients. The matcha latte was equally impressive, creamy, and perfectly balanced. I loved that the almond milk is homemade, adding a special touch to the drink. Overall, a fantastic spot that I highly recommend! ❤️

This café is a true gem! 🤩💓✨Beautiful, cozy, with a warm atmosphere and incredibly delicious food. 🥘 The staff are amazingly friendly and attentive, giving each guest a personal touch. We came here for both breakfast and lunch — everything was absolutely delicious, and the service was quick. I arrived here with my suitcases after checking out of my hotel, and the staff surrounded me with care: they helped carry my luggage inside, found me a comfortable spot, added a second table, brought me cushions, seated me on a sofa, gave me a laptop charger, and told me to feel right at home.🫠 And when I accidentally hurt my leg and asked for some ice — they brought it and gently placed it right on my leg without even handing it to me. Now that’s service!👏👏👏👍 I highly recommend this place to everyone — it’s atmospheric, friendly, delicious, and the kind of spot where the staff truly make your day better

We originally tried to go somewhere else, but it was closed — and honestly, I’m glad it was. We stumbled into Nude Cafe in Bali, and it turned out to be one of those perfect little surprises. The smashed avocado was divine, easily one of the best I’ve had in Bali — simple, fresh, and full of flavor. The berry smoothies were super refreshing, especially in the Bali heat, and the Nude Big Breakfast hit all the right notes — savory, satisfying, and well-balanced. We went on a typically hot day, and Dewi, our server, made the whole experience even better. She was friendly, attentive, and just had this calm, warm energy about her that made the meal feel extra relaxing. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again.

WOW. Yes it's in a busy street, but you sort of are tucked away with a beautiful moss covered frangaani tree in front. Menu is well established. Staff are lovely, friendly and helped out a lot with menu etc. The food came out very quickly - I opted for the pancakes where you get to pour your own cream on top. Very satisfying! Smoking area outside/up stairs if you're into that sort of thing (bit of a bummer to have a beautiful snack with smoke around.. But hey) Will definitely be coming back if I'm in this area again 🌞

Good food with fair prices. 65k for salad. And cool barista art. The first salad is the Chicken Avocado Salad. The next one is Asian Chicken Salad. The Asian one was the best. It had a good sauce. They also have a lot of coffees. Prices are 36k for the cheapest one.

Came here looking for a place with stable Wi-Fi and A/C, and this spot had both, which was perfect for working. The food was very tasty, and I was really pleased with it overall. The only downside was the bread, it seemed a bit over-toasted, maybe even a little old. That said, the beef bread itself was freaking amazing, so I’ll definitely come back and try it again. I also ordered the Indonesian iced chocolate drink, and it was really nice and refreshing. This place is a very good spot to chill, get some work done, and enjoy good food. I’ll for sure give it another chance next time!

Nice Coffee Bar at a Main crossing in Ubud. Good barista and fast Service. Only the Espresso, (which is the only to give you the pure Coffee taste) was too bitter. Go for a Latte or Cappuccino instead!

Love their power breakfast in the morning. So heavy I did not get hungry until evening. One complaint is their americano are served lukewarm. They should check the hot water temperature before mixing.
Vasanth S — Google review
The best cafe in Bali hands down! Right from the myriad of artisanal blend options available to taste/ buy to the quality of the beans, food and service, this place is unbelievably good! We went here twice, the first time in the evening for a coffee and croissant and the second time for brunch. We had the ‘Aceh Gayo’ and the ‘Sumatra Kerinci’. The coffee was extremely aromatic, full bodied and perfectly brewed. The almond croissant was freshly baked and flavorful. An absolute hit especially if you are an avid coffee drinker! We ordered the power breakfast with steak for brunch which blew our minds again as to how amazing the brunch food was! In a sea full of copycat cafes in Bali, this is a truly authentic cafe! A 100% must visit!!

I came here to meet up with some friends. I was late. But managed to get a few pictures. Cause i love the vibe of this place. I only managed to try the long black. Truth be told, nothing special. Maybe i should try the manual brew. But the presentation is good, i love that i can see the some of the crema by the top of the cup. I noticed there's a kid's area. Some sort of on a mezzanine. Pretty cool. And the staff was so friendly to the kids playing there too. I need to come back to try the food and the other coffee. Good job guys!!!

I really enjoyed my recent visit. The food was consistently good—the chicken schnitzel was standout, and the pancake was excellent. The soto ayam was also great. The service was good, and the hospitality was notable. The setting is quite nice. Even though it's an open-air space, it feels chilly and comfortable, and you're not fully exposed to the sun. It's a great spot that works well whether you come with a group or just as a couple. Solid food and a nice atmosphere!

This location has a green, relaxing atmosphere and very spacious sitting. It is perfect for group hang outs and coworking / studying. The chicken satay was savory and paired with the most delicious peanut sauce I have tasted in Bali. The rice was cooked perfectly. The mango sticky rice was rich in coconut flavor and creammyyy, and their fruits were all extremely sweet (though you can't do much about that lol). The staff was very attentive which can be overbearing but it's better than not being taken care of. Overall a great spot and would recommend people to come here!

From the outside, you wouldn't realize how big Milu is. But once you step inside, you'll discover a very spacious and pleasant place. The tables are well spaced out, and it's really comfortable. Beautiful decor, simple but well-arranged with a wide view of the rice fields in the background. So, you'll be well-seated for a good time at the table! The food is generally very good. The only thing we tried that we don't recommend is the Crispy Whole Fish. It was way overcooked, extremely dry, had no flavor, and was almost nothing to eat. Everything we tried, other than that, was very good. The Milu's salad is beautifully prepared with delicious seasoning. Fish-wise, the best is the Grilled Mahi-Mahi. A must-try. Dessert-wise, nothing extraordinary but absolutely good. The Exotic Fruit Bowl is perfect and better than the all-purpose Chocolate Cake. Service perfect and with the smile. The prices are quite reasonable, so you'll have a great time at Milu and eat well for a good price !

MILU by NOOK. 🌾🪴☕️🍽️ @milubynook Probably one of my favorite cafes in Canggu. Because I was in love with Nook overlooking the padi fields, popping my Milu was the next natural thing to do. Idyllic, feel of lush greens, airy and totally a vibin’ oasis tucked away in nature. Serving great rustic cafe and Indonesian grub - awesome coffee and the atmosphere is totally chill. Service was ample and not intrusive. The cafe is spacious and very easy on the eye, full of charm and it’s like a garden party at a neighbour’s sprawling backyard. Definitely recommend coming here if one pops by Canggu. Adds to the cafe experience and travel memories.

A pleasant surprise! For a touristic spot, this restaurant was a nice surprise. Great views and food selection make this the perfect stop after exploring the rice fields 🌾 During our lunch visit, we had two options: buffet or à la carte. We chose the more flexible option and enjoyed delicious nyat nyat fish (~ish name) and pizza from their fire oven next to the restaurant. As for drinks, we were satisfied with our cocktails and also found a tempting selection of teas 🫖 Full points for the amazing fish, good prices (especially considering the area) and overall atmosphere 🙌

A pleasant meal with a beautiful view. The choice between a buffet or à la carte dishes allows for more choice when it comes to meals. The drinks and food were good, but the prices were higher than in other restaurants, which can be explained by the location. It is in the Jatiluwih rice field area.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a nice coffee and good / healthy food. We came here after a crazy workout and it was definitely worth it. Finally visited Hungry Bird after knowing and loving their beans from so many other Bali coffee shops! First impression love the cozy, homey vibe, and all the staff were super nice and friendly. I ordered a piccolo for my quick morning coffee and sat at the bar area. Later, I found out that we can actually choose the espresso beans, too bad the cashier didn’t mention it earlier, so I just got the house blend. Will definitely come back to try their other beans next time.

Desa Kopi Bali is a charming cafe located in Kabupaten Tabanan, offering a serene atmosphere surrounded by expansive rice fields. It's an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, with its tranquil and refreshing ambiance. Visitors can enjoy good food and coffee while taking in the breathtaking views of the rice fields. The cafe provides a perfect setting for a relaxing time with loved ones, making it a must-visit spot for those seeking nature vibes and delicious delicacies.
Had another great visit to Desa Kopi! The food and drinks were amazing. I had the pizza and pisang goreng, both delicious. The Es Desa Kopi Aren was creamy and flavorful, and the Tiramisu Milky Latte was a standout. It’s my second time here, and the cozy green vibes and warm service keep me coming back. Staff were attentive, even helping a child who fell near the pond and sharing Wi-Fi info without being asked super thoughtful. The place is clean and fresh, though the toilet was a bit wet. That said, I appreciate the thoughtful gesture of providing sanitary pads. One small suggestion: coasters for drinks would be great to avoid water marks and stains. Definitely will return!
Asthi — Google review
This was my third visit to Desa Kopi and honestly, I love it more every time. The food is always fresh and tasty — the scrambled eggs were perfectly creamy, the hashbrown crispy, the salad super fresh, and the bacon just right. What really stands out is the coffee — it has a deep, bold flavor that feels authentic and comforting. The vibe here is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a quiet moment. Highly recommended if you're in Bali!
Ayu T — Google review
A beautiful place to stop and have a coffee and lunch in the hidden place! Spacious coffee shop with many tables inside and outside. Staff is great and affable. Chicken caesar salad is good. V-60 great! Churos Desa is also very tasty.
Aleksandr K — Google review
The best matcha I’ve ever tried — 1000/10! The chicken wrap was amazing too. I didn’t really like the Caesar salad though; the dressing was too salty and mixed with the cheese, giving it a mayonnaise-like texture. But overall, I really enjoyed everything — great service and good vibes!
Novita A — Google review
Cycled up half-dead, arrived full zen. Desa Kopi delivers on the “earn the view” promise — quiet, green, and just the right amount of smug satisfaction for making it up the hill. Ordered the matcha espresso and churros. Odd combo, but somehow it worked. Churros were crispy, not trying to be fancy. Just good. The kind of snack that makes you question your life choices, but in a nice way. Vibe? Asri. Relaxed. Staff don’t hover. No one’s rushing. A few people on laptops pretending to work. Overall, dangerously peaceful. Please don’t tell anyone.
George W — Google review
This cafe is beautifully designed and blends harmoniously with its natural surroundings. True to its name, Desa Kopi, the coffee did not disappoint at all! I’ll definitely come back for the coffee. The light bites, like fried bananas and French fries, were decent. However, the main dishes could use some improvement. For example, the pork belly still had some hair on the skin, and the sushi rice tasted more like regular steamed rice. Surprisingly, this place gets very crowded despite being quite remote and far from the city center. I’ve been here twice on weekends—once during an off-peak brunch time, which was fine, but the second time during lunch, there were hardly any indoor seats left. Overall, it's a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee, especially if you're not in a rush.

A true hidden gem in the heart of the Jatiluwih rice terraces! 🌾 This café offers stunning views, a peaceful vibe, and such a relaxed atmosphere – the perfect break from exploring the area. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. We tried the cappuccino with oat milk and the matcha – both were delicious. But our absolute highlight? The baked toasts! So tasty! We’d definitely come back to this little oasis of calm. Highly recommended if you’re in the area! 😊

Nice view, but the food is a little bit overrated. The smoothies and smoothie bowls are very watery. When you ask for a vegetarien meal, they only remove the meat and you don’t get another alternative. My dish came with some granola with yoghurt - but as you can see on the picture, the size was a little ridiculous. So the food is not worth the money.

Great place next to some rice fields in Kediri. 🌾 Underrated and little known to non-locals at the time of posting. But the place has great music and good food. I had the Terbawa Rasa Pizza personal size - delicious, and I would go back for more. 🍕 But for certain, it's finding this place in the middle of seemingly nowhere that makes it so great. Uma Batukaru is a local hidden gem. 💎

A very nice place, coming here twice. I love their tempe mendoan and pisang nugget gemoy. I had a very nice experience during my 1st visit, unfortunately the 2nd one didn’t meet my expectation. The pisang nugget gemoy was smaller, and the tempe mendoan is too crispy, while mendoan originally should not be crispy. Tried the aglio olio pasta, but it’s too oily. My 1st visit a week before was great, but the 2nd one disappointed me. Will think twice to come back, but probably will give another shot.

This is such a cool place with a relaxing atmosphere and a beautiful view that makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food is not only tasty but also served at very reasonable prices, which makes it perfect for both casual visits and special occasions. The combination of quality, flavor, and value really stands out. If you’re looking for a spot to unwind, share a meal with friends, or simply enjoy good food in a lovely setting, you absolutely have to try this place 🇮🇩🏝✔️
Valentin G — Google review
This place is a serene haven tucked away amidst lush green rice fields. The vibe is incredibly peaceful, with the gentle rustling of paddy leaves and the soothing sounds of nature creating a calming atmosphere. The ceiling is beautifully decorated with dried paddy leaves, giving it a rustic yet elegant touch that feels authentically Balinese. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy a meal, and soak in the beauty of Bali’s countryside. The menu is a celebration of **authentic Indonesian cuisine**, with a focus on fresh, local ingredients and traditional recipes. You’ll find dishes like **Nasi Goreng** (Indonesian fried rice), **Ayam Betutu** (spiced slow-cooked chicken), **Pepes Ikan** (fish steamed in banana leaves), and **Sayur Urab** (Balinese mixed vegetables with coconut). Each dish is bursting with flavor, offering a true taste of Indonesia. The prices are very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality and experience. The only downside? The access can be a bit tricky. The path to the warung is narrow, and during the rainy season, it can get muddy. But that’s part of its charm—it feels like a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered. Once you arrive, the warm hospitality, stunning views, and incredible food will make it all worthwhile. This place is perfect for those who want to enjoy **authentic Indonesian flavors** in a tranquil, natural setting. It’s a true escape from the ordinary, where every bite and every moment feels special. If you’re in Bali or anywhere with similar vibes, this is a must-visit for an unforgettable culinary and cultural experience!

Lovely ricefield setting in the heart of Tabanan City. We were pleasantly surprised by this spacious and attractively presented cafe/restaurant. The access roads are a little tricky and rough but it's worth it. The menu is broad in diversity from Indonesian to Western and Chinese. We opted for Indonesian and found every dish from Satay starters to Mains and Desserts were all excellent. Service was sharp, friendly and receptive. Orders came with good timing and smiling staff. The video gives you the main courses we had. Delicious and very well priced. We will be back.

I've been here a couple of times, not by my own decision, but rather by invitation. It has a cool and natural ambiance since it's built close to rice fields. The food was okay, actually, but not that special considering the price. Yes, it has cool plating when served, but I would have preferred other options in terms of taste and satisfaction. Last week, I was very dissatisfied with the service. They couldn't handle my small group, who were breaking fast together, as we waited over 1.5 hours for our orders. We ordered a couple of hours in advance by phone and reserved tables. What a mess!

Nadi Farm Cafe in Tabanan is a true embodiment of the "from farm to table" concept. The cafe provides a stunning dining experience with delicious food and exceptional staff. Visitors rave about the beautiful scenery, delectable dishes like Mango Avocado Salad and Mung Dal Tatka, as well as the warm hospitality of the owners.
Wow! Incredible food, true farm to table experience. You can taste just how clean and organic the produce is. Quiet, peaceful setting with incredible view of the mountains. We stayed for three wonderful nights at The Nadi Nature Resort and dined each morning and evening at The Nadi Farm Café. The food is fantastic — We managed to try nearly everything on the menu! A particular favourite was the falafel with coconut tzatziki. The staff are so lovely and kind. On our first night, we had a romantic dinner set up with beautiful flowers in our own private tent — a real highlight of our stay. Thank you to everyone at Nadi for such a special experience!

One of the most beautiful dining experiences we’ve ever had. Everything here is grown by them, with care, intention, and so much love. You can feel it. From the garden to the plate, every ingredient tastes alive—fresh, organic, and deeply nourishing. It’s not just food, it’s soul food. The kind that makes you pause, close your eyes, and smile with the first bite. The flavors are simple yet powerful—just like nature. Homemade recipes, warm plates, everything made with a tenderness that’s hard to put into words. And the women who make it all happen… they are the heart of this place. So loving, thoughtful, and gentle. Every interaction with them felt like a warm hug. Their attention to detail, their kindness, and the energy they bring to the experience made it even more special. Eating here was not just delicious—it was healing. A place that reminds you how beautiful it is to slow down and truly enjoy. We left with full hearts and grateful bellies. Can’t wait to return. 🌿✨

While it's obvious that a lot of investment has been done in making a beautiful place in a nice location and buying good reviews on Maps few days ago; we hope that the owners choose to invest in proper staff. There were only 2 people in the place. One cook, another waiter; neither of whom understand English. They did what they could, and for that we appreciate them. The food was mediocre. Juices were ok. What we were truly shocked to see was that there were so many good (5 star) reviews of this place- turns out they are all fake (bought) to compensate for the earlier bad reviews. Hope the owners realise that buying fake reviews is not going to make their restaurant better and they learn to invest in proper staffing instead of online. Your place is beautiful; but half of the menu items were not available (even though menu is already small); your staff (although try as they could✨️) is not equipped to deal with tourists; food quality needs to drastically improve- especially taste. 🙏 [Please don't waste your money in buying fake reviews; kindly invest it in good efficient staff]

Great views and feels! Happy to see a vegetarian menu. All items were flavorful but nothing memorable. Combo vegan - it would be nice to have some bread or rice served with it Aglio olio - nice spicy flavor Gnocchi - very unique way of preparing. I don't think it was real gnocchi preparation Stuffed chilli - nice preparation with wonderfully unique tempeh filling Hoisin mix salad - sweet n salty tasty item Nasi goreng - even though it wasn't on the veg menu they nicely made it for us Both the shakes were fresh though the combination didn't seem to be very flavorful.

Pan-Asian restaurant
Indonesian restaurant
Chandi is a stylish restaurant and bar that offers a menu of elevated Pan-Asian dishes with a modern twist. Known for its commitment to quality ingredients, the restaurant imports meats from Australia and New Zealand, sources soy products locally, and obtains fruits, greens, and roots from Bedugul farmers. Catering to various dietary preferences, Chandi provides options for vegetarians, vegans, and those following a gluten-free diet.
Great spot for happy hour! When we arrived at Chandi, we were welcomed with chilled facecloths—a refreshing touch in the Bali heat. We took advantage of their amazing 12 PM - 6 PM happy hour with 2-for-1 cocktails and tried the Pandanus Arak Mandu and the Ginger Lemongrass Mojito—both were very good. For food, we started with the Indochine Dim Sum, which was delicious but a bit small, so we immediately ordered another. We also had the Rice Cracker Shrimp Balls (3 pieces) and the Amazing Crunchy Tofu Squares—everything lived up to the name except the tofu, which we didn’t find as amazing. Service was top-notch. When we started waving away a fly, our server quickly brought over a fly fan for the table—such a thoughtful touch. And when we asked for the bill, they noticed we’d only had three drinks and made sure we got our fourth, even packing it in a to-go cup. Attentive service, great food, and a fantastic happy hour—would definitely return! UPDATE: Returned for dinner —crab dumplings (too much wrapper vs. crab), honey garlic chicken, roasted salmon, and apple phyllo with vanilla ice cream (too much phyllo). Flavours were good overall, but the balance in textures could be improved. Didn't love our meal as much as the first time, but still good service.

The food overall was great. The starter was nicely decorated but some of the items missed flavour from a european perspective. The beef was nice and juicy. The chicken sticks were all right - even though a bit dry. The staff overall was excellent! Great service; very polite and helpful. The location was alright. I did not like the open concept due to mosquitos entering the building. Also the toilet was sub-standard.

I have tried many restaurants during my 6 days stay at Seminyak I’d honestly say that Chandi is the best Restaurant in Seminyak… why; the restaurant offers the gastronomy experience, the atmosphere and the setting is very calming and pleasant, low music less noise you can enjoy your food and also have a peaceful conversation at the same time. Food is top notch thumbs up to the chef and the service also is matching the high standards of the restaurant, I want to mention Dayu for her attentive service and the welcoming smile. Breakdown Chandi has managed to succeed from all aspects that’s why I chose it as the best restaurant in Seminyak I’d extremely recommend it 🙏🏼
Abdelali D — Google review
The staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I highly recommend dining inside, as the air conditioning units keep the temperature much cooler than sitting outside on a hot day. We visited during lunch, and the restaurant was surprisingly quiet, which allowed our food to arrive quickly. I ordered a steak cooked on a hot stone, which was an exceptional experience. Unlike typical steaks cooked on a hot stone, this one was cooked to perfection without losing its juiciness. The steak was maintained at the desired temperature rather than being cooked through. My absolute highlight meal was the beef rendang wrap. It was the best dish I had during my trip to Bali. The combination of vegetable crisps elevated the dish to new heights. If you’re looking for a restaurant version of a traditional Indonesian meal, this is the place to go.

second time here, and the food was as good as I remember it to be. In terms of service, they are extremely welcoming. In terms of the food, it was very well cooked and seasoned (I would recommend their signature platter.) it was delicious. The place was also very well kept and we felt very comfortable dining there. This has got to be one of my favorite meals in bali!!

Chandi in Seminyak offers an amazing blend of Balinese tradition and modern flair. The highlight of our meal was the traditional Balinese duck—incredibly tender, rich in spices, and full of authentic flavour. It was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The service was warm and attentive, and the overall atmosphere made for a relaxed yet elegant dining experience.

Top-Notch Dining at CHANDI Seminyak! CHANDI delivered an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. The service was absolutely top-tier — warm, attentive, and professional without being intrusive. The food was the real standout. The lamb shank was incredibly tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. But the highlight was the seafood and shellfish hot stone platter — fresh, sizzling seafood served on a hot stone grill right at the table. It was not only a feast for the taste buds but also a visual experience. Beautiful ambiance, outstanding food, and exceptional service — CHANDI is a must-visit when in Seminyak. Highly recommended

Walking along the strip from Seminyak Square we spotted Chandi... a smart looking place offering Indonesian and pan Asian cuisine. I am pleased to say it was a great place to stop .... service was prompt .... drinks including cocktails delivered quickly, and once ordered our superb food was delivered with a short while. We had a selection. Of starters and mains ....All of the dishes were presented beautifully and were cooked perfectly. I would certainly visit again.

The quality of their food is exceptional, making it a standout destination for those seeking delicious and conscientiously sourced meals.
Had a delightful meal at clear cafe. Staff was warm, service was quick and the food was very high quality. Would highly recommend the cafe for a peaceful meal. Tip: If you are comfortable with floor seating you can sit right next to the Koi Pond which is a serene dining experience

If you're vegan, you don't want to miss this amazing restaurant! The place is stunning, the menu is full of options, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is attentive to detail. I went there as a solo traveler and I loved the food (including the gelato) and the whole experience.

Did a quick stop for drinks and already want to come back. Ambience and decor was amazing. It’s very immersive with a koi pond and variety of places to sit and relax. Got the lemon drop tonic and chocolate latte, both tasted fresh made with local ingredients. I like how they separate the simply syrup so you can customize the sweetness level for the latte and have vegan milk options. Would recommend!

Yummy food, very beautiful and peaceful place. Only 35 euro for 3 people each had a starter and main dish, drinks and even a big bottle kombucha. We had a vegan, a fish and meat eater, all happy. Update: unfortunately I had Bali belly after the vegan wrap. It never digested even not the next day, I had diarrea all the time and than I gave up and throw up the wrap. How it’s possible not to digest by the next day, it’s really amazing. Had painful cramps and many many gasses… I’m very sorry about it because I really liked the place so much🥺

Visited Clear Cafe in Ubud recently, and I absolutely fell in love with the space! The café has such a bright, airy, and inviting atmosphere, a perfect blend of comfort and style that makes you want to linger and enjoy every moment. The décor is thoughtfully done, with a calming vibe that complements the beautiful natural surroundings. I tried their Nasi Goreng, and it was absolutely delicious, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and served with such care. I loved it so much that I kept asking for extra sambal, which they happily provided, making the dish even more enjoyable! On top of that, I tried several of their fresh juices, and each one was refreshing, vibrant, and made with high-quality ingredients that complemented the meal perfectly. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the visit feel warm and comfortable. Whether you’re looking for a healthy meal, a fresh juice fix, or a relaxing spot to unwind, Clear Cafe is the perfect choice. Overall, Clear Cafe is a must-visit in Ubud for anyone who enjoys delicious food, tasty drinks, and a beautifully curated space. Watercress Ubud is a popular and trendy spot located on Monkey Forest Road. The restaurant takes pride in using locally sourced ingredients, with seafood delivered daily from the Canggu coast and organic chicken sourced from Java. The two-story restaurant features vaulted ceilings and an open-air concept. Additionally, tourists can enjoy freshly grilled sweet corn on Bali's beaches while watching the sunset.
I ate at Watercress in Ubud and ordered the super food bowl. It was outstanding, especially with the big piece of pumpkin, and I liked that the dressing came on the side. That’s the only thing I tried but I really enjoyed it. The service was good, though I think it could be improved a little. The restaurant itself has a nice ambience with both indoor and outdoor seating.

A charming place for any time of the day. The food is very good, especially the breakfasts - there are many options and all delicious. They also offer a wide variety of dishes for lunch and dinner, and the truth is that everything is great. The attention is another strong point: the waiters are very friendly and attentive, always with a smile. Especially Ririn, one of the waitresses, who makes the experience even more pleasant with her sympathy and excellent treatment. Without a doubt, a place where it is nice to return again and again. Watercress Ubud is the place to be on a Saturday night! The live music creates such a great vibe, lively but not overpowering, perfect for a relaxed evening. The waiters here are a rare gem: super attentive, genuinely friendly, and they actually know the menu. Their recommendations were spot on, making it easy to try dishes we might have otherwise missed. We kicked off the night with a refreshing cocktail (highly recommend doing the same!), and everything that followed was just as impressive. Bonus points for their kids’ drawing menu, such a thoughtful touch that kept our little one entertained while we enjoyed our meal. If you’re in Ubud and want a place with great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere for both adults and kids, Watercress is an easy choice. Can’t wait to come back!

Nook is a serene restaurant situated north of Seminyak, offering picturesque views of rice fields. The cafe is adorned with various decorative writings, creating a lively atmosphere. The menu features a diverse selection of dishes, blending Western and Balinese flavors. Despite its focus on Indonesian cuisine, the presentation of the food rivals that of international restaurants. Additionally, visitors to Nusa Dua are encouraged to explore Pirates Bay for an adventurous dining experience aboard a pirate ship with tree houses and an ocean playground.
We had a lovely experience dining at Nook Bali. The setting is absolutely charming — nestled right next to lush rice fields, it offers a peaceful escape from the busy Seminyak scene. The view, especially during golden hour, is stunning and perfect for photos. The food was delicious and nicely presented. We ordered a mix of local and Western dishes, and everything was flavorful and satisfying. The nasi campur was a standout — generous portions and very authentic. The smoothie bowls were fresh and vibrant too. Service was friendly and relaxed, though not the fastest — but that’s part of the laid-back Bali vibe. Prices were reasonable considering the ambiance and quality of food. Overall, Nook is a must-visit if you’re looking for a scenic, open-air spot with good food and a tranquil atmosphere. Great for brunch or a sunset meal!

I came here to the Nook Western Restaurant without much expectations, but I must admit that this place here is really a Delightful Escape here in Kerobokan. The Restaurant blends Western and Indonesian flavors in a breezy, half-open garden setting that feels both relaxed and refined. The food is consistently satisfying—whether you're craving a juicy burger or a fragrant local dish—and the service is warm and attentive without being overbearing. Surrounded by lush greenery, it’s the kind of place that invites you to linger. For anyone seeking great food, friendly vibes, and a touch of tropical charm, Nook is a spot I truly enjoy and highly recommend.

Interesting experience, where you sit facing the padi fields and have your meals. Good variety of food and at normal restaurant prices and if you wish to have a taste of local food, they do serve a variety of them. Desserts are also many to choose from. They have smoking and non smoking buildings and interestingly, the mozzles there don't sting, as I did not have any bites after the meal despite seeing many flying around.

Such a lovely tranquil place to grab a bite to eat and watch the world go by. The food and drinks were lovely, the staff very friendly and welcoming and the setting is beautiful. Definitely recommend coming here for a relaxing afternoon chilling out away from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak.

The breakfast board looked really beautiful and appetizing — such a nice presentation. However, the taste didn’t quite meet my expectations. The bread was unfortunately too hard to eat, and the watermelon wasn’t very fresh. I also noticed a slightly sweet taste in the scrambled eggs, which felt a bit unusual and didn’t blend well with the rest of the flavors. Overall, it looked amazing but could be improved in taste and freshness.

Acai coco was good, coffee was good, ingredients seemed fresh and high quality but omg. The chocolate bars in the fridge MELTS. They looked delicious so we had two to take out, but they were only put in a single brown bag and we weren’t told that they would melt. We walked back to our hotel and lo and behold, one of the bars wasn’t completely covered in chocolate and the nut filling just melted like jam all over inside the paper bag. Cafe really needs to rethink their takeout packaging, have servers explain to customers that their bars actually melt, or just not let customers take whatever food might horribly melt to go. Udate: both my husband and I are stuck to the toilet right now after eating at the cafe. We have two nights left in bali and can’t leave our hotel room…🙃

Went to try the viral smoothie bowls. Disappointed overall. The chai tea was watery by my standards The smoothie bowl is a bit of a texture nightmare due to lack of toppings, I struggled to finish it as it was basically slop after the first few bites. - for the smoothie suggestion is actually to reduce the amount of the smoothie for better topping/smoothie ratio in turn you could charge less. And my personal preference is a thicker smoothie so adding ice while blending. I will say the rest of the menu looked nice and service was fast and pleasant plus the venue was also gorgeous

This place left a strong impression with its open and airy design. The walls are lined with plants, there’s a terrace outside, and hanging plants cascade down from the second floor, creating a unique and refreshing atmosphere. The structure of the building itself is quite special, giving a spacious and open feel overall. It was quiet and comfortable, making it a relaxing place to stay. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. In the restroom, individual towels were provided for drying hands, which felt hygienic and thoughtful. What impressed me the most was that they operate and support a system for sustainable crop cultivation, which made the experience even more pleasant. I think this is a café I would love to visit again. We ordered two drinks—and everything was truly delicious. The drinks we chose were custom-made juices with ingredients we selected ourselves, and they were generously filled with quality contents, making them feel like a great value.

I'm obsessed with the Avo Croissant at Avocado Factory! It's a game-changer for breakfast or snack lovers like me. The croissant itself is flaky, buttery, and freshly baked, but the real magic happens when you add the creamy avocado filling. It's a match made in heaven! The combination of textures and flavors is absolute perfection. What I love most about Avocado Factory is their commitment to using high-quality, fresh ingredients. You can really taste the difference in every bite. The service is also top-notch - friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff made sure I had everything I needed.

I created my own plate, scrambled eggs and avocado on sour dough. Was far too oily for me. Texture of the eggs was good. They were served over the avocado so I lost the flavour of that. Service was good but I did wait a little bit for my food. Maybe the other dishes are better but I think over all there are nicer places around to get your avocado fix. I also had a turmeric shot which was average.

I came here with my Mongolian friend. It was very surprising that the service here was so bad. We called many times to order, but no one came to us. Even though they had seen us, they walked as if they didn't hear or see us. We called more than 3 times. And finally, I walked alone to the waiter to order. While eating, I also asked the waiter twice for more sugar, but no one brought it. So I drank a very sour drink, even though I was sitting very close to the stationery. The hostess was also very slow to escort guests, as if she was not enthusiastic. As for the food, everything was good, but not special. The plus point is they have special promotions on certain days. This was our first time coming here because it went viral on TikTok. And decided not to return to this place again because of the bad service. Hopefully in the future they can improve their service.

It’s clear that attention to detail is a priority here — from the neat, coordinated uniforms to the way every order is clearly repeated and double-checked for accuracy. It made us feel well looked after. While the indoor seating is limited, the café makes excellent use of the space and maintains a relaxed, polished vibe that leans more toward a boutique restaurant than a typical coffee shop. 📖 Menu & Culinary Experience The menu is diverse and exciting, with dishes drawing inspiration from multiple international cuisines. The inclusion of clear photographs of each item is especially helpful, making it easier to choose with confidence. The coffee is outstanding — rich, aromatic, and expertly made. I tried the Latte with almond milk, as well as the Luwak coffee, and both were top-tier. Their offering of alternative milks and full coffee style range is impressive and reflects a deep commitment to quality. Honestly, the coffee here rivals the best you’ll find, even in top-tier global chains. 🍽️ Food Quality & Presentation Meals were beautifully presented and just as enjoyable to eat. The kitchen clearly holds itself to a high standard in both flavour and appearance. We felt we were getting restaurant-level dishes in a café setting, which is rare and impressive. 🍰 Dessert & Dining Comfort Dessert was a highlight — delicious, rich, and thoughtfully prepared. The only small letdown was the frozen blueberries, which were too cold to enjoy right away. Still, it was a minor blemish on an otherwise delightful dish. One small point to note: the outdoor area doubles as a smoking section, and this wasn’t made clear during booking. It made it difficult to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere due to smoke. That said, the team responded quickly and kindly to our request to move indoors, which we appreciated. ⸻ ✅ Final Thoughts Satu Satu Coffee delivers a first-class café experience — blending exceptional food and coffee with warm, professional service. With a bit more clarity around the smoking policy and small tweaks like fresh (rather than frozen) dessert garnishes, it could be nearly flawless. Regardless, it remains one of Canggu’s true gems, and we’ll definitely be returning.

Such a wonderful spot! The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel like part of the family — especially Nura, who is always so warm and welcoming. They know you by name and look after you in the best way. The food is delicious, the coffee is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant. On top of that, the deals they offer are amazing and truly worth every penny. A place with great food, great atmosphere, and even greater people highly recommend!

A contemporary cafe with an expansive selection of food & beverage offerings. Both outdoor and indoor seatings are available. Guava Kombucha was great tasting with a balance of sweetness and acidity. Their breakfast sets are generous and healthy options are available. Service is friendly.

We often have lunch at Satu Satu and every time we leave happy. The food is always fresh and delicious, with generous portions and beautiful presentation. The menu is diverse — you can choose something light or enjoy a full, satisfying meal. What’s especially nice is that the prices are very reasonable for this level of quality and service. The staff are always friendly and attentive, greeting you with a smile and serving quickly. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, making it comfortable whether you come alone, with friends, or with your family. We love Satu Satu so much that we always recommend this café to our guests when they ask where to enjoy a delicious and pleasant lunch in the area. Thank you for the warmth, excellent service, and care for your visitors — we’re proud to share such a place with others.

10/10. THE BEST STAFF. GREAT FOOD I had the best service experience here, that I never had anywhere else (I travel a lot) It’s the time of the month and I sat down and putting pressure on my lower abdomen (IYKYK) then a woman staff came up to me asked if I want warm water. I was surprised as I didn’t say anything to anyone, she then gave me warm water and asked if I want a pillow to help put pressure on my belly. She’s such an angel. I never had that kind of treatment on any establishment and to think I didn’t even say a word. She’s just so attentive and genuinely caring. She’s my favourite 🥹 I’m shy to ask her name but I took a photo of her. Whoever you are, If you read this, just know it means so much to me what you did ❤️❤️ ❤️ And ofcourse, the rest of the staff are all great as well. Always smiling and attentive, ready to help in any way they can. Oh! And also their food is great and the ambience. There is outside seating and indoor. 10/10 recommended

Cafe Vida Organic is a cozy spot run by a Balinese family, offering a variety of fulfilling smoothie bowls like chocolate magic and mango turmeric lassi. Their house-made organic desserts include raw, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free options made with superfoods. The cafe's traditional Balinese courtyard setting creates a relaxed atmosphere akin to a secret garden cafe.
The best brunch/breakfast spot in Bali!! We kept coming back, as the food was so fresh, delicious and healthy. Everything we ordered tasted amazing and also very aesthetic. Also great coffee (I would say my favourite one I have had so far). Such a lovely vibe inside, with great service. Would definitely recommend.

My partner had a delicious fish meal. The service was really friendly. Allergy notice: Just a heads up for those who have onion allergy/intolerance, please note that the main savoury dishes all have onions (as guided by our server). Please opt for smoothie bowls. Otherwise, have the fries, which was actually one of the most delicious fries I’d ever tasted!

So good I went back for dinner! This is my favourite spot in the area for delicious organic bowls made from good quality ingredients. Their smoothie bowls are an absolute must as well as their selection of plant based savoury plates like this soba salad. I love also that you can choose your own combinations to build a plate meaning no matter what you can find the combination you’ve been craving.

Darrel D — Google review
I ordered "sacred cacao," emerald keto forest "cold pressed organic juice" and an all day breakfast. I'm giving this order a one star rating because, although the main was great, the other two items were not as advertised. I have been consuming ceremonial cacao for many years, and what Cafe Vida is calling "sacred cacao" is cheap cacao powder in a plastic bag, which is what I was shown when I asked about it. So using the term "sacred" is extremely misleading. The drink was also meant to include reishi, lions mane and cordyceps in it… but I wasn't convinced that they were included. Secondly, the juice is advertised as "cold press." However, it was clear that a centrifugal juicer was used, it was running near the till / coffee machine, not a cold press juicer. A centrifugal juicer has a high-pitched sound and you can hear the RPMs are much faster than a slow juicer, which tends to be more quiet and when using a hard vegetables you can hear the crunching sound not a high whizzing whirring sound. The high foam on top of the juice is also an indicator of a centrifugal juicer. I don't mind paying a high price for quality food and for paying what is advertised, but this just didn't quite seem right. The salt and pepper were provided in open bowls without a little spoon. The little bowls look funky but are not hygienic. My fork and knife were already used, so when I when wanted to add salt all that was left was my hands. This is unhygienic as I don't know who has touched it before me. So salt and pepper in a sealed container would be ideal, but worst case scenario providing a little spoon to dispense the salt and pepper would be better. I had wanted to order a coffee after my meal and I asked for the menu to be left on the table, but the waitress insisted on taking them with her and said if I needed it again, I could just ask. There were three people total in the cafe, so it wasn't as if they were needed to give to others. I don't enjoy leaving a one star review, but there were multiple factors that contributed to this as itemised above.
Sue M — Google review
My partner had a severe allergic (that we told the waitress about) and she couldn’t eat her meal (she took 2 bites). After taking her antihistamines, we wanted to pay the bill and the barista, with a sassy attitude, charged us for everything, including the dish my partner didn’t touch. The coffee is ok, not outstanding, the menu is original but the delivery is poor. If you have an allergy, be VERY CAREFUL with this place. Would recommend for a juice but that’s it

This vibrant eatery offers an extensive menu featuring all-day breakfasts, satisfying lunches, and delectable dinners. Known for their signature lava stone pizzas and a well-stocked bar, this cafe provides an energetic atmosphere with live music.
I’ve been to Milk & Madu over 20 times now, and it never disappoints! The food is consistently fantastic, with a menu that’s both creative and full of fresh, delicious options. My personal favorites are the French toast (hands down the best I’ve ever had), the burrata, and the sandwiches – all incredibly tasty and satisfying. The smoothies are a must-try too, always refreshing and perfectly blended. The atmosphere is so laid-back and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or enjoy a solo meal. The staff is always friendly and attentive, which makes every visit feel like home. If you're in Ubud, don’t miss out on this gem! I always look forward to my next meal here – it’s the kind of place you’ll find yourself coming back to again and again.

Milk & Madu is such a lovely spot for breakfast in Ubud! We ordered the Eggs Brekky, Orchard Bowl, and Madu Pancakes all three dishes were absolutely top-notch, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were welcoming and courteous, which made the experience even better. The place does get quite busy in the mornings, but the lively atmosphere and cozy ambience make it worth it. Definitely a must-visit in Ubud, and I’d love to come back again!

Absolutely loved our lunch at Milk and Madhu! The service was top-notch – we’re super picky vegetarians (no egg, no fish oil) and Captain Puspa and Novi were amazing, guiding us through the menu without batting an eye. She suggested the Summer Slice Pizza and OH MY GOD – best pizza EVER. I seriously still can’t get over how good it was. Big shoutout to the team for making a Milo Shake for us, even though it’s supposed to be just for kids. That was such a nice touch! We had an awesome lunch and can’t wait to come back soon. Highly recommend this place!

I came here on a Sunday to try their special brunch, and it was such a great way to start the day! I had the cheeseburger with a beer — absolutely delicious and satisfying. Then I couldn’t resist trying the dessert: an apple crumble pie with ice cream. It was simply amazing! I left with such positive vibes and a big smile. The atmosphere here is wonderful- friendly people, great music, and an overall lovely energy. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to:)

We came here based on reviews and had breakfast and dinner. Everything was great. They had breakfast promotions, and it was incredibly crowded. A line formed after we sat down, but it wasn't as crowded that evening, so we enjoyed our meal comfortably. Since we don't eat pork, they offered to swap our menu items for other items, which was very nice. We enjoyed the lasagna for dinner. The ice cream is safe, and the food is delicious. We recommend it.

Nice atmosphere in the morning and in the evening because inside gets too hot at noon (due to big glass windows). You can enjoy great cocktails (you pay one get two during the happy hour). I ordered grilled fish and salad -the portion was a bit small- but it was really delicious. Prices are a bit above average. Service was very fast.

The food here is soo good!! The smash burger was so juicy and flavoursome, and the fries were nice and crispy! My boyfriend got the chicken Parma which was one a deal for 99k, and he thoroughly enjoyed it! Very nice atmosphere here at Zest Ubud makes us feel close to the nature! Lots of seats but still best to make reservations in advance. Food was really great especially the pumpkin waffle with ice cream. Smoothie bowl was so aesthetically pleasing!

Zest Ubud is a place where you instantly feel at home. The location is simply stunning – surrounded by greenery with a bright, open atmosphere that radiates both peace and inspiration. Every corner is warmly and thoughtfully designed, and you can feel the love for detail everywhere. The vegan menu is impressively diverse and truly delicious – every dish we tried was fresh, creative, and full of flavor. A must-try are the Spicy Corn Ribs and the fruit bowls – both are a perfect 10/10! What we especially loved is that plant-based food here isn’t treated as just an alternative, but as a full culinary experience in its own right. Within only four days we visited twice, simply because we enjoyed it so much – which says it all. The team also makes the experience even more special: the staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and create such a positive vibe. For us, Zest Ubud is definitely one of the absolute highlights in Bali!

Our absolute favorite place in Ubud! We’ve tried so many restaurants and cafés in Bali, sometimes 4–5 a day, but after visiting Zest we didn’t want to go anywhere else. The atmosphere is so unique — it can’t really be put into words, you just have to experience it. We came in the morning, during the day, in the evening, even late at night… and every time the energy felt so special. It’s incredibly cozy and makes you want to spend the whole day there, every day. The restaurant is fully vegan — which for me, as a non-vegan, after the third visit meant there was less excitement in trying new dishes — but still, everything is so unique and creative. And the selection of drinks is just amazing.

Some of the best vegan food in Ubud! The vibe is super chill here. Huge selection of great dishes and super amazing flavors. The food is fresh and designed with creativity. The staff and team here are some of the best. They are all super kind, very helpful, and full of smiles!! Great chill music, sometimes great live music. The views are also spectacular!! NOTE to the OWNER; please be aware of guests who sit around all day and take up space who are not ordering food or taking up entire tables with a laptop. It creates a low vibe and encourages a “work vibe”. Maybe make a laptop area only and tell guest who just sit around to kindly be on their way and let other people sit down. I love your concept and beautiful mission. Its a great place and I wish you the best in continued success!

Best vegan food we've had in Ubud. I love that they have so many gluten free options too. Our fave food were the sushi, cauliflower wings (AMAZING) and the pizza. Healthy choices, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. This place is always crowded with tourists hanging out or working on laptops (in the afternoon). I think both times we visited, once for lunch and once for dinner, we were the only locals :)

It’s a beautiful place with an amazing atmosphere and a fantastic view. They have an all-vegan menu with high protein and recommended meals marked. I had the cacao ceremony with coconut cream on the side an the chickpea omelette. Both were amazing. I enjoyed my experience there a lot.
Erika S — Google review
Stunning venue, and one of the most beautiful set in a restaurant I’ve seen across the globe. The service was very polite but little bit slow, though that’s not an issue in Bali. The whole piece of life is slow. However, the menu is tasty with a really good selection of vegan food yet was really lacking in protein dishes. They pointed out protein boosts to their foods but really needed some more Tempe and tofu on the menu. Highly recommended though.

One of the best meals I’ve had in Bali!! Didn’t even know it was vegan my fist time here and came back a few days later with a huge group. Acai Queen is a cozy cafe that not only serves a diverse menu but also allows customers to craft their own customized meals. The focus here is on healthy, organic food, with homemade snacks such as avocado toast and peanut acai being popular choices. While the small size of the establishment and limited parking may be drawbacks, the high-quality and delicious offerings make it worth a visit for those seeking nutritious options.
My kids and I have eaten at Acai Queen dozens of times over the years and it has been absolutely delicious every time. Quality is top notch! They have a stamp card system which is a lovely perk for frequent diners such as us. And when we ran into an issue with redeeming our stamp card the owner was more than generous with her solution. And today when I asked for Mango in my bowl they offered for me to try a piece before adding it just to make sure it wasn’t too sour as it isn’t mango season. What a lovely place with thoughtful staff and ownership. I wish we lived closer so we could go more often.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m absolutely addicted to Acai Queen! The fruits are always so fresh, and I love their caramel toffee bits and signature granola — such a perfect combination. The complimentary coconut flakes are a lovely touch, and if you leave a review, you even get a chocolate coconut ball (so yummy!). A mandatory place to visit when you stroll around Goutama Street! The employees are so kind and helpful, I ordered Acai and Americano and tasted so good. They also provide free welcome snack and dessert! You will only experience eating acai and playing in the swing here!
Wisnu B — Google review
I don’t understand why this is highly rated, the acai smoothie base is nice - but the quantity and the amount of toppings you get js just not enough and doesn’t justify the price at all compared to other places in Bali. They had used quite a bit of sugar on coconut shavings, ruining the authentic coconut flavour - and the peanuts in the peanut butter were over roasted. I personally did not enjoy the entire experience. No doubt the bowl looks aesthetic but the taste doesn’t make the mark.

The acai doesnt taste the best. Not sure why this place is extremely hyped but the amount you pay (also tax and service charge on top of the already expensive prices) doesnt worth what you eat... This place is just good to post cute instagram photos with your fruit bowl sold as acai bowl

This was one of the first vegan places we visited in Bali many years ago and whilst many more vegan eateries have popped up, this one certainly hasn’t lost any of its charm, the staff were warm and the meal was great. Friendly and efficient staff. Kitchen and front of house staff were so nice! We popped in on a Sunday and they had a special menu. Only 50,000 (approx. $5) for a meal & you could choose 6 options. We got the hash brown stack and carbonara. Delicious! Can’t fault the food/drink. Keen to dine in at their pizza place next door which was built in 2021.

Great place with a range of completely vegan dishes. Loved even by the non vegans! I stayed all day to do some work and they didn't make me feel like I should leave...well I did just keep ordering! I had nachos with a side of avocado(the amount of guacamole they put on was def not enough!) an iced mocha with coco whip(which I had added but they didn't charge me for!) an amazing "be strong" smoothie, simple pasta dish which I didn't photo and a banoffee pie! All good can't complain, nice atmosphere, lovely attentive staff and FREE WATER! 😃 I will go again

We’d seen so many rave reviews and recommendations for Coffee Cartel, we had to try it ourselves — and it did not disappoint! We ordered a Banana Boss, Cleanse Juice, Poke Bowl, and the 12hr Smoked Brisket Burger. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. Definitely worth the hype!

I am in Bali for my 54th visit, along with my wife. We always stay in quiet places around Seminyak. For breakfast, the Coffee Cartel Cafe is as good as it gets in Bali. The Cafe has a nice atmosphere with well trained a courteous staff; of course. The food is delightfully prepared, delicious and fresh. My smashed avo with a poached egg was brilliant. And at Rp 90,000 or A$9.00 it it incredibly cheap. As for the coffee, well I reckon its outstanding. Very high quality. Not much more to add other than this is a very, very good place. Highly recommended.

Kim Soo is more than just a furniture shop; it's a stylish cafe with delectable brunch options. The gallery, located in Seminyak, Bali, was established in 2015 within a charming old Dutch Colonial-style building. Inspired by the spiritual surroundings and bohemian atmosphere of its doorstep, Kim Soo has become an iconic destination for design enthusiasts. The space features thick white masonry walls that exude natural calm and personal style while showcasing exceptional Indonesian artisans' work.
Wonderful bijou restaurant with delicious breakfast and lunch. The prices are midrange and the staff is helpful. Seating is adequate. Drinks like smoothies and wine of are high quality. The bread is fresh like the salads and ingredients. Relaxing to sit here. Restaurant closes at 17:30. Visit this place!

Kim Soo Seminyak is honestly one of my favourite spots to chill with a morning coffee. Love the vibe here, and I always end up finding some gorgeous new homewares to take home. Such a great place to start the day!

Kim Soo Home is an absolute gem for both food lovers and home decor enthusiasts. The cafe’s aesthetic vibe makes it a perfect spot for anyone who enjoys beautifully designed spaces. Though the prices for their decor items are on the higher side, the quality and style make them worth every penny. I had their carrot cake, which was hands down the best I’ve ever had—soft, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. It’s also totally Instagram-worthy, and a must-visit if you’re into home decor. Highly recommend!

Lovely place, came here for the ice coffee late and didn’t disappoint. The nasi goreng set also super delicious, you can ask to add spicy chili if you like. The place is small and cozy. The shop also pretty unique they sell curated home decor and all seems to be very special. Love their jars and pillows. Highly recommend to stop by when in Seminyak, Bali.

Monsieur Spoon Petitenget is a French cafe and bakery with a charming garden that offers stunning views of Umalas' rice paddies. Families can enjoy a leisurely breakfast or lunch in this picturesque setting, where children have the freedom to play on the lush grass while parents savor their hot cappuccinos. The menu features an array of delectable options including bread, jam, coffee, pastries, juices, and smoothies.
Cozy restaurants for lunch or dinner, the atmosphere was great. You can choose an outdoor or indoor table, both are nice. They serve the Indonesian fusion menu and western menu. I come here just for chill, get coffee and dessert (many choice of mouthwatering cake). Next time, I definitely will try their dinner dishes. The staff is so friendly and the service is very good. A must visit restaurant if you go down in the Petitenget area.

Good food and most specially beautiful view I went there for morning and had my breakfast its a good time to visit there to enjoy the ambiance and the peaceful place, Indoor was looks luxurious place and when you go to outdoor its typical bali vibe view that you will really like for sure. staffs are also very welcoming. i highly recommend this place.

i visited twice, and it’s definitely one of the best spots in Petitenget for pastries and coffee! 🥐☕ the pastries are buttery and flaky, and the ambience is cozy and relaxing. perfect for hanging out or simply enjoying a slow morning or afternoon. definitely a must-visit!
Raya — Google review
We came here, of course, for their famous bakery, and it definitely lives up to its reputation! The pastries are fresh, buttery, and delicious, especially the croissants and pain au chocolat. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. The place itself is quite spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The view overlooking the rice terraces is just beautiful and creates such a calm, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or just a coffee break. It’s also a great spot if you want to work a bit or catch up with friends. As someone who isn’t used to very spicy food but still likes to try Indonesian dishes, I really appreciated that their Indonesian menu options are tasty yet mild, making them adaptable to a European palate without losing the local flavor. The mix of Western and Indonesian dishes makes it easy for everyone to find something they like. The staff are friendly and attentive, and service was quick even though the place was quite busy. Prices are reasonable for the quality and setting. Overall, Monsieur Spoon Petitenget is a perfect spot for good food, great coffee, and a peaceful view, definitely worth visiting when in Bali!

It looks small from outside but when you enter inside, you will amaze with the interior design. It is so instagram able. Many variations of croissants and the prices are not for everyone but it depends on your lifestyle. The croissants were reheated and not flaky as I imagined. For me, once is enough ☺️
Herlina C — Google review
The croissants (cheese and almond) were below average and they tasted like they were not fresh. We ordered ice latte and iced creme brulee latte and they both were below average. The ice latte tastes like milk with very small amount of coffee and the iced creme brulee latte doesn’t taste creme brulee. The place looks aesthetically very pleasing but the croissants and coffee quality are below average.
Mai H — Google review
The dining area in the back is very nice and a nice unassuming surprise for any visitors. Apple chausson and plain croissant are my favourite go to’s every time I am here. I’m a very basic person - I’ll judge a bakery by their croissant 😂 and Monsieur Spoon’s are some of the best in Bali. I recently tried the Crème Brûlée latte - I have to say though I wasn’t impressed. I expected at least a hint of custard flavour in there, and it shouldn’t be hard to get a nice crisp burnt sugar glaze on top but it was unfortunately a miserable failure. It tasted just like a regular latte but cost more.
Jimmy — Google review
One of my favorite places to dine and bring guests. Always breath-taking as you walk in. A great variety of dishes and drinks. I have been here many times. But why only 4 stars today then? Because I was embarrassed today when my guests commented on how dirty the place was. And I then really noticed. The mirrors were cleaned, but smudged all over. The outside glass so dirty the view was cloudy (ok - a bit of unusual rain this “dry season”), the roof above us had mess ready to fall on us - either termites or mold. But the deal breaker was when my female guests reported on their toilet. They said it was so dirty, smelly, and there was no toilet paper at all. I was embarrassed. I had spoken so highly about this place. These are easy fixes. Please do a deep clean to restore the ambiance once again, and to match the great food you offer. And we will then be back.

Titik Temu Cafe, located above the famous Ubud Palace, is a favorite coffee spot in Ubud Town. The cafe offers delicious coffee and food, with recommendations for their flat white and ice coffee with palm sugar. The indoor and outdoor setup provides a charming and modern vibe while still capturing the essence of Bali. Visitors can enjoy air conditioning indoors or relax upstairs in a no-shoes space.
This place has plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. However, they don’t provide parking spaces for motorcycles or cars. The indoor area can feel quite warm even though the AC is on. The food tastes pretty good overall and it’s a nice spot for breakfast or lunch.

Great spot for coffee and work I’ve been to this place several times and always enjoy it. The coffee is really, really good, one of the best I’ve had The space is comfortable with plenty of seating options: regular tables, counter seats, indoor and outdoor areas. The indoor space has AC, which makes it perfect for hot sunny days There were always several people working on their laptops, just like me. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, and the background music is soft. It’s also a nice place for solos, families or friends to relax and enjoy their time. Definitely one of my favorite cafés in the area

Temu is lucky to have such a talented and passionate barista. His latte art is not just skillful—it’s true artistry. Each cup feels like a small masterpiece, crafted with care and creativity. Beyond his talent, he brings warmth and a special energy that elevates the entire experience. The whole team at Temu is wonderful, but the barista truly stands out. Congratulations to him and to everyone at Temu for creating such a memorable and inspiring atmosphere!

A nice stop after a walk of the city. This is an air conditioned cafe (which is quite rare in Ubud)with good design. Price is reasonable and the drink is good too. My on complaint is that they post a notice outside the toilet notifying the customers that the toilet is under construction, but when you ask the Staff about where can you use the toilet, they will tell you that the toilet is available, so what's the point of putting a notice outside the toilet ???
Cafe R — Google review
Spacious café with a decent selection of items on the menu. I dropped by after discovering they serve frappes — mine was made with ice cream, so heads up if you're sensitive to dairy. I ordered the hazelnut frappuccino and it was delicious! They also had some interesting food options that caught my eye. One downside: the music was extremely loud, and the staff were speaking just as loudly, which made the atmosphere quite noisy. I had to put on my earbuds, but even then it wasn’t the most conducive spot for laptop work or quiet time. Great for a casual visit or sweet treat, but maybe not ideal if you're looking for a work-friendly café.

Alila Seminyak is a stunning 5-star resort located in the heart of Bali's beautiful coastline. The resort offers refined accommodations with private terraces or balconies, and even features a luxurious Penthouse with three bedrooms, a private pool, and other top-notch amenities. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean from the infinity pools and indulge in leisure activities such as romantic dinners, Sunday Seafood Brunches, spa treatments, and year-round festivities.
Overall, great stay! Got upgraded to the Alila ocean view suite and we faced the bar and it was amazing to see and hear the oceans during the day and night. Staff was very kind and helped me with dropping off and picking up laundry. We were in L02 and you can hear the beach club next door. Beware if you are a light sleeper! Luckily, we brought a noise machine and we had some really early tours so we were exhausted by 9-10pm but the club doesn’t close till midnight or 2am depending on the day of the week. We really liked the family pool since it felt a bit more private and had better views of the ocean compared to the main pool. They provided us a breakfast box for a 3.30am tour we had, which was very kind! Very secure hotel and beautifully kept clean. Rooms were spacious! Just make sure to ask for a room away from potato head beach club if you are a light sleeper.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a really lovely experience. The room was very nice, clean, and full of character, with a charming historical feel. The staff were exceptional — always friendly and willing to help, and they even managed to fit me in for a last-minute spa booking, which I really appreciated. The swimming pool area is beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The restaurant food was average — the special buffet with the fire show was fun and lively, but the food itself was quite ordinary, and lack of choices. My only small complaints were about housekeeping and maintenance. Housekeeping forgot to refill the shower gel when they cleaned the room (which I only discovered mid-shower!), and the balcony railing was a bit loose, which felt slightly unsafe. Overall, I’d still recommend this hotel for its excellent service, comfortable rooms, and relaxing atmosphere. Just a few small improvements could make it perfect!

My wife and I had an amazing time at Alila Seminyak. It truly exceeded our expectations in every way. What stood out most was the impeccable service. Every team member we met was friendly, attentive, polite, and genuinely warm. They checked in on us so thoughtfully and consistently that it made our stay feel incredibly personal and special. Special thanks to Krisna, our wonderful server at Seasalt who took such great care of us; Artini, the talented pastry chef behind those delightful desserts; and Merta Yasa, who greeted us daily at the fruit bar with the sweetest local produce. We’d also like to thank Ayu, Dwi, and Cakra from the Beach Bar for their cheerful hospitality, Alvis at reception for the warmest of welcomes upon check-in and Haswan, the executive chef who always made time for a friendly chat. The property itself is beautifully designed, contemporary yet relaxed, with a stunning beachfront location that comes with the most beautiful sunset view and a fantastic breakfast buffet to start each morning. We left with wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for the entire Alila team. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks to Alila Seminyak, my wife has fallen in love with Bali all over again!

The Wanderlust Fitness Studio is a well-equipped and spacious fitness center that offers classes and personal training to help you achieve your fitness goals. It has a wide variety of equipment, including treadmills, bikes, elliptical machines, and weight rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful.
A Bali Must for Fitness Lovers As part of my Bali routine to balance out the day club indulgences, I made it a point to visit several gyms—and Wanderlust Fitness Village stood out as a favorite. We both started and ended the week here, taking part in their Bali Burn class on two occasions, and it was a fantastic way to kick off the day. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the energy around the gym was buzzing. The space itself is huge, with multiple rooms and areas where people were doing everything from lifting to group classes. We specifically joined the class in Room B, which started right on time and delivered a solid, well-paced session combining functional HIIT movements. It was challenging but fun—the kind of workout that sets the tone for the rest of the day. Post-workout, we took full advantage of the amenities: a refreshing protein shake, followed by time in the sauna, jacuzzi, and an intense ice bath. After a proper shower and change, we were off to the beach clubs feeling completely refreshed. Wanderlust also features a beautiful pool deck, making it a great spot to linger if you have a full day pass. I’d absolutely come back again—next time I’ll likely squeeze in multiple classes or even an open gym session. Whether you're in Bali for vacation or routine, this place is a must for anyone who loves fitness with flair.

I signed up for a full month here and yes, it’s definitely pricey (€165), but worth every cent if you’re training daily. You get full access to everything: CrossFit, Hyrox, Open Gym, plus the entire spa area. The ice bath is excellent, the sauna is top-notch, and the pool with sunbeds is simply stunning — truly high quality. The atmosphere is amazing: people are social and welcoming, and the CrossFit coaches are excellent. Even the Open Gym setup makes you feel at ease, with all the conditions you need to train at your best. On top of that, the bar is a real highlight — prices are very reasonable and the healthy food options are of genuinely high quality. In short: an outstanding place to train, recover, and connect. Absolutely worth it if you’re serious about fitness in Bali.

Zero if there was an option. You guys might be one of the best Gyms in Bali, but literally zero for response and customer relationships. Following so much just to be part of a fitness retreat is not worth it. Might as well go to a place where we are welcomed and where the hosts are warm and who actually give a damn about customer care. I love bali mainly because of how they host guests. You guys are truly opposite. Its just sad. Disappointed.
Teja K — Google review
I checked out their fight center for the first time a few weeks ago and was genuinely impressed. Although I came prepared with my own gloves and wraps, I noticed they provide clean and branded gloves at no extra charge, definitely a nice touch and something I don’t see everywhere (based on my experience so far). The space is big, clean, and really welcoming. The Coaches were on point and gave clear instructions, good pacing, and lots of helpful tips during pad work that really helped me fine-tune my form. Loved the energy! I’ll definitely be returning soon!
S. W — Google review
Where to start…the CrossFit classes and coaching are top notch. Each coach, each class, each portion of class, from the instruction, to coaching, cues, environment, program, facilities, all top notch. A very welcoming community. Staying at Wanderlust is just the wise move, tasty, healthy meals, recovery center and rooms are all great. The friendly and helpful crew is always with a smile and always ready to help. Whether it’s 1 week or 1 month , I can’t recommend any more the eat, train, sleep… just do it!

The Mecca of Fitness and Wellness – A Truly Special Place I had the pleasure of attending an MMA class at Wanderlust Fitness Village, and what a remarkable experience it was. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and inspired. One of the owners, Dave, even took time out of his day to personally show me around the facilities—his kindness and generosity truly left a lasting impression. What struck me most was the scale and quality of everything Wanderlust offers. Despite catering to a large number of people, they’ve managed to create a space that feels personal, vibrant, and incredibly well-run. From delicious, healthy food options to state-of-the-art wellness and recovery amenities, every detail is thoughtfully designed to support both body and mind. As I explored the space, I saw families doing functional workouts together, friends laughing by the pool, and individuals pushing themselves while surrounded by a positive, uplifting community. It felt less like a gym and more like a fitness and wellness institution—a place where people come not just to train, but to grow, connect, and thrive. If you're in Bali and looking for a place to discover your best self, look no further. Wanderlust isn’t just a gym—it’s an experience, a community, and a destination. Highly recommended!
Anthony S — Google review
Myself and wife loved training here, great sized gym and so many amenities! I’ve read a few reviews whinging about the music but I have to say, outside of the class neither of us even noticed it. Staff were all great and the owner took time out of his day to talk to us and find out about why we were training and told us the story of the gym! Great place
Antony G — Google review
I had really high hopes for Wanderlust, especially after traveling all the way from England because of my love for Hyrox. Unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing and I cannot recommend this place. The gym itself looks nice, but the villa accommodation and management left a lot to be desired. When I arrived, I was met with a room that had a mouse inside, a door that didn’t lock properly, and no clear check-in instructions as well as a ceiling full of geckos. To make matters worse, the reception team was unfriendly, unhelpful, and struggled with basic communication in English. What shocked me most was being told my accommodation was a 30-minute walk away. While I was aware the villas weren’t on-site, I wasn’t expecting such a long and unsafe walk without pavements – something that felt especially unsettling as a solo female traveler. I ended up checking out within 45 minutes of arriving, leaving my key on the bed. In the moment, I told them I had a family emergency just to avoid confrontation, but the truth is I simply felt unsafe and let down. When I emailed management afterwards, their response was dismissive. They told me “sorry you saw a gecko,” which completely missed the point. My concerns were about safety, poor management, and lack of hospitality – not the presence of a gecko. If you’re coming to Bali for fitness, I strongly suggest avoiding Wanderlust. Instead, I highly recommend Bambu Fitness in Uluwatu, where I ended up spending two amazing weeks. The contrast in professionalism, safety, and overall experience was night and day. Don’t make the same mistake I did – save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about their guests.

Tom's Garden Cafe is a delightful spot that offers a variety of fresh and flavorful dishes, making it a must-visit in Balian. We had the prawn tempura which was a winner, the squid which was nicely cooked with a tasty sauce, and the Mahi Mahi, which was ok but a little dry. The chips came out very hot. Kedai M. Aboe Talib is a charming little coffee shop nestled in Tabanan, Bali, that has been delighting locals and visitors alike since 1940. Despite its modest size of just two meters wide, this beloved spot buzzes with energy and is often filled to the brim with coffee enthusiasts eager to savor their offerings. Open daily from dawn until midnight, it proudly upholds traditional brewing methods passed down through three generations of family ownership.
If you want to experience a local coffee shop with local wisdom, this is the place! Their Iced Kopi Susu tastes like kopi tiam, affordable price. There are many Indonesian snacks too! If you can’t stand of the cigarette smoke, it would be better if you just sit outside the shop, in front of the door.

They also has lot of indonesian snacks like banana fritter, fried yam, fried tofu, friend tempeh and many more for 1000 rupiah each. This coffee shop already exist since 1940.

Amazing food from local farms and only a few minutes scooter ride from the gorgeous Tiny White Villa we are staying at in Nyanyi. Peaceful. You probably don't want to be in a rush when eating here, but the food is worth the wait. Outdoor dining, fans no air con surrounds by lush greenery. We will be back.

Cute, out of the way place. I ordered the macaroni with cheese and mushrooms and it was fantastic! Love at first bite. Tangy, cheesy and delicious 😋 I will come back again as there are several other dishes that I’d like to try.

Fresh produce, good coffee and the best part in my humble opinion is the playlist. Very tasteful!

Just cute little comfy green space that provide farm to plate nourishment. I ordered their own fresh pressed juice and had this super yummy brócoli rice and I added some salad & avacado ar the side 🥰 Such beautiful relaxing dining experience. Love it!!

🌿 Hidden gem alert! We visited Little Spoon Café two days in a row — and every single dish was extraordinary. From presentation to flavor, everything exceeded expectations. The variety is impressive, and not a single plate disappointed. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

A hidden gem! We came here for lunch on a Tuesday and loved the ambience and the fresh, tasty food and drinks. They use farm produce and you can really taste it.
