I’ve been to this salon for a few services and my last visit would be my last. I had a mani pedi and so many things were wrong with it… 1. Unsanitary with no plastic covers over the tubs, who even does this charging 1000 bucks and risking spreading toe fungus. 2. I watched two of them not clean multiple soaking tubs after the service so it’s likely you’re dipping your feet in left over filth 3. The set up is just awful for the manicure where the girl was simply standing the entire time she was giving me a mani and not surprisingly did a terrible job. Just two shelves shiver on either side with the most awkward little bowls. ODD 4. I had my hands soaking in cold water for 20 minutes like it is normal. 5. The actual person who provided the service was so terrible she completely skipped over cleaning and trimming cuticles and I had to remind her 3 times after which I ended up with bloody finger plus cut up looking cuticles like I was just given a manicure by a rat. Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name but this is not my reason for not wanting to visit. To top it all I finished the service and showed my cut up cuticles to the guy at front desk and he literally had nothing to say. Not I’m sorry, not how can we make this better, nothing. So weird and definitely not a place I’d risk my health and money at.

It's an amazing salon with professional services. I was sufferring from lower back pain for long time and I took 45mins back massage session and it really paid off. The therapist "Nutie" did a very nice and effective massage. She knew the exact pain area and her massage techniques was wonderful. I returned back home relieved. cons: It's expensive when compared to other massage spa's but it's worth of you are looking for a professional service.

Did hair colouring at Senza and I have to mention that it was a neat and friendly atmosphere at Senza. Imran the stylist has understood what I need and did suggest the best. Imran did it really well. I will give 5 star for the service and ambiance. I will visit again for sure

Great ambience. The therapists are well trained and know their job well. Very polite and courteous. Right from the music, pressure points, posture, they check with the customer, if he or she is comfortable. The spa is very well maintained and sanitized. Damn clean and apil n span. The couch is extremely comfortable and one gets a relaxed posture. Their services are wide and tough to choose. One gets tempted with options provided. They also have a salon for hair grooming and other services. A special mention to Alan, this person was just out of the world. A magical hands I should say. He jus pampers the customers. The service at Oryza is excellent. The masseuse was really good and was very considerate. She gave the right amount of pressure and targeted the areas that I had pain. The body massage was overall more than great. I would highly recommend Oryza Day Spa and Salon!!

Decent looking spa, good staff. For the price, the value is not the same. We requested deep tissue massage for 90 min. It wasn’t as great as expected but decent. The masseuse didn’t seem to differentiate between the tight areas and normal. The massage didn’t feel smooth.

This review is long overdue. Until walking into oryza less than a yr back, I'd never felt the need for a pampering sesh. I had two minds if a high end spalon was necessary. After a completely relaxing massage by Lakshmi, I was convinced that its perhaps necessary for even a writer like me, to unwind. The front desk staff is always welcoming, especially Asha, whenever i drop by. Lakshmi probably has magic in her hands. I've got body massage, facial and eyebrows done from L. She completely justifies the time and money i spend here. Its sometimes not just about the service. I tend to be friendly but never for once has she taken that lightly and does her job perfectly. Also makes sure if I'm ok with her suggesting the right services and ensures I'm comfortable and that's one of the reasons I keep going to her. Just back from there and posting this here. Yes, Oryza is worth it. Much love guys.

Been a member here for a while! The services are great, I usually come here for their amazing pedicure and manicure services but today visited for a facial and got the ‘Sublime Pearl’ treatment by Ms.Anita who did a fab job - extremely professional and polite. Surely recommend!

Had a 90-minute massage from Rohit at Oryza today. A total professional, he gave me a world-class deep-tissue massage. I loved the room, the ambience, the aromatherapy, the steam room and the shower. Will look forward to returning when I’m next in Chennai.

Not great service at all! Whole spa dint relieve anything it claimed. Therapist was definitely not trained and dint know what she was doing. Oils were fake, sandalwood oil smelled like coconut. And other products in the shower were very cheap quality. Our car was taken by the valet person who the receptionist suggested. When we were done there was a different person denied and dint care to call for the valet person inspite of asking many times. Dint expect such a bad experience for the premium pricing!

One of the worst spa experiences we’ve had. We went to Matra Bali Spa and ended up paying ₹5800 each ₹11,600 total for what was supposed to be a Balinese massage. It turned out to be anything but relaxing. The therapist didn’t even clean our feet before starting. She just applied oil directly, which felt unhygienic and uncomfortable. The room temperature was terrible. The AC was blasting directly onto our faces. They tried adjusting it, but it didn’t work. We had to stop halfway and switch beds just to avoid the cold airflow.The therapist had nails which made it painful and unpleasant. I walked out feeling sore, not relaxed. We specifically asked beforehand if it was a proper Balinese massage, and they said yes. But the experience was far from it. Definitely not worth ₹11,600. Would not recommend.

A true blue experience of Bali, in Chennai. The package offered was a 90 minute Balinese massage, offered by a young Indonesian therapist with the power of magical fingers, that seemed to alleviate not just the body pain, but every ounce of stress. The ambience is truly safe and sanitary with an attached bath with every massage room. The table and the room were properly sprayed with disinfectant and sanitised before and after the session. The therapist was the epitome of politeness and so was the receptionist who had welcomed us. An absolutely relaxing wonderful experience amidst the hot humid summer.

During my tour to chennai, i had a chance to visit Manthra Bali Spa.. it was an excellent experience.. my therapist Budi from Indonesia gave an awesome Balinese Spa.. she was polite, smiling and an excellent message therapist.. one of my best spa experience.. nothing to mention about the ambience, it was at par with all reputed spa's.. had a nice tasty welcome drink.. the tea at the end was rejuvenating.. cost is too high hence 4star.. but i will recommend everyone in chennai to experience real indonasian (Bali) spa experience here in the city atleast for 1s..

Came to the spa for a massage but the reception said it's under renovation and expansion , took a look at the menu and it looked very interesting, they offer a wide range of treatment especially ear candles . I'm hoping to visit this place once it reopens.

Had an appointment for 2 of us, I had reflexology. I was first seated at the space near the reception area where they’ve separated with curtains, you could hear the phone calls and chat pretty clearly, not an experience you would see in a ‘spa’ this famous. Strongly feel this place is overhyped or we’ve been to better places right here in Nungambakkam. I asked to be placed in a room and they did with my partner. Therapist who did the full body massage was inconsistent and they needed repeat instructions to increase pressure. The room had a divider which they kept opening and closing gave a really scratchy noise which will startle you during a spa massage. Reflexologist was okay. Receptionist was polite while attending us. Think twice before choosing rather than following articles and influencers.

Great place. But badly managed. I put my bags and clothing tried to close the door. They person comes and says that's the only lock not working. This is bad user experience. You expect to see a note on the locker door. Told the person to put a sign. But still no sign. Guess they want to show everything is good. And cover up. Wrong metric to follow.

My experience was positively bad primarily due to construction noise. To me it's a construction zone drilling, banging throughout the time. The masseuse was pretty good. The apologies were fake since they knew exactly what going on. Avoid for few months then may be it will be better.

After a very hectic trip I need a soothing and relaxing massage for my aching muscles. Achui was one of the best therapist I’ve ever had. She provided the stress buster treatment, which combined stretching, cracking joints and deep tissue massage. Definitely the best massage I’ve ever had, exactly what I needed. The steam sauna after the massage was an added experience that took it to the next level. She also brought me green tea after. Overall an amazing experience and will come back again!

Took Aromatherapy yesterday. Well greeted and professional in nature. I told my health issues in prior and therapist Ayola understood and was a good massage. Took 90 mins from head to toe, it was nice not much talking and very professional. Usually in any spa centres therapists will forcibly ask for tips, but I never encountered here. After bath, was served green tea. One area of improvement is for head massage done for <5 mins. Overall satisfied and will definitely return back.

The therapist know the knots of massage and will really help you to reduce the body, muscule pains and comes to cost , it's quite reasonable and affordable. Came here with my hubby for a couple massage and we had an amazing time! Massage room is so clean and neat. Hygiene is well observed by the staff and masseuse by providing us with disposable garments for massage. Masseuse are very well experienced and careful regarding your massage preferences. The ITC name is being tarnished by very sub standard services offered by Kaya Kalp particularly by the staff named Shenoy. Never expected such a pathetic treatment with a borderline racist tone to their staff's behavior. If your staffs are not ready to provide services, you can very well not take customers rather than drag the name of ITC through the mud. Another so called premium Salon with 3rd class services in Chennai. Used to be good but don't know what changed now.

Horrible experience in doing a facial. When I asked to do their signature facial, Shenoy was avoiding and was suggesting a different facial which doesn't have a massage. After agreeing to her suggestion I found out it was her doing the facial and in the entire process there was hardly any care( now i know why she avoided the signature facial in the first place as she doesnt want to do the massage and she can simply be free). Didn't prep the face correctly, hardly any face massage for the products to be abrobed and after competing the facial didnt even clean the products from my face properly. Totally atrocious service. I can clearly make out it's either racist attitude to local people or totally negligent attitude towards customer who is not staying in their premise, either way this is not the kind of service we expect from ITC. Avoid at all cost.

My masseuse folded me like a pretzel and snapped me like a glow stick. 10/10, highly recommend the Chola massage. Follow up with a visit to the steam room and some tea in the relaxation room.

During my 3 day stay in ITC, visited the spa multiple times and had a grand time each visit . I will review each one below : 1. Kaya Kalp signature massage and scrub : Done by Sophie . It was 8 pm to 10 pm program done with great care . Sophie was competent and skilled and scrub took off my 10 days of travel related weariness. Suggestion about using the pomegranate scrub option was spot on . The spa reception manager knows her spa offerings well :) 2. Facial : pearl illuminating facial . Done by Monica , she is an excellent , very experienced facialist who did a good massage and explained every layer of application step by step as she was performing them . Very satisfying experience and the illumination part is true. Good suggestion by spa reception manager again. She is available most of the time and try to call schedule and ask for suggestions at that time . She does her job well 3. Hair Spa : OMG!! Shankar is amazing and I send my hubby to get one from Shankar later. My husband also felt the same after his experience. Shankar’s fingers do magic on ur scalp. Please make it a point to get this done. Totally worth the 45 minutes. Freaking amazing 🤩 4. Polish removal and change : done very competently and good suggestions provided . Last but not the least , spa manager Dr Mamta runs this spa extremely well. She is very professional and my interaction with her was related to something I left behind in the spa and how she helped me with that . ITC charges reasonably for international standard service and employees function with high standards.

I really enjoyed the massage I had at the Taj spa today. The massage therapist was very professional and targeted the areas I requested. However, I was a little disappointed at the customer service I received from the spa receptionist. After my massage, when I asked questions about the price and bill (which I needed for insurance purposes), the receptionist responded in a curt and impatient tone and stated false information (that my bill said aromatherapy, which my bill actually didn’t, and that’s information I need for insurance purposes). I understand that the receptionist probably gets questions like this a lot, but this was my first time navigating the billing and reimbursement requirements I needed for my insurance regarding massages. I felt dismissed and like the receptionist was trying to rush the process so that she could leave. I wish she had a kinder tone and shared accurate information.I expected better and feel discouraged from returning in the future.

Both massage and facial were outstanding. Rejuvenated. Special mention to Rosemary, Jessica and Koza. Will definitely come again.

Clean spa with friendly and helpful staff. The massage services were great - both the head massage and foot massage. The masseuse doing the foot massage did a particularly great job going beyond the allotted 45 min. The beauty salon was a little disappointing for a service provided at a 5 star hotel. I booked a haircut appointment at Jiva Spa while staying at the Taj. No details were asked during the appointment booking but when I showed up the next day for my appointment, I had to wait after my hair was washed for almost an hour as the stylist assigned to me only knew one basic hair cut. Eventually the haircut I got was decent but was not properly finished and so i had to cut a few errant strands that I noticed later by myself. I would give just 3 stars to the beauty salon.

Every time I visit Taj, I’m reminded of how special it is. Stepping into the lobby immediately surrounds you with a light feel good floral fragrance, every staff member’s greeting with a smile puts you at ease. My most recent visit was for a Jiva signature facial and Aman was outstanding. Right from the time she started with the foot bath, her touch was firm and sure, the pressure just right. The massage was the best I’ve had in a long time. The facial was gentle and thorough. The entire approach is unhurried and leisurely, which elevates the experience to what Taj is known for. Yes, perhaps the bathroom etc. could be a bit more modern but that’s an easier fix than the hard to perfect pace and feel for the experience.

Beautiful & amazing spa. The room was clean & styled beautifully, making you feel comfortable, relaxed & serene. They use all white plush towel, I love that because I can tell right away when they're not clean! I went for a massage, it was excellent..the therapist was skilled, great technique, appropriate pressure applied & I like the oil that she use on me. My room has a bathroom & toliet too. Before the massage, the therapist offered me to use the steam room & then after, the relaxed room but I declined. Before & after the massage I was given a delicious detoxifying drink. I travel a lot for work & very often I"d love to indulge myself with a massage at spa...this was one of the best experience had!

One of the most hygienic and professional spas in the city. I went in twice during my stay and enjoyed my massage and facial. All staff are very professional,courteous and kind. I loved the herbal tea that they brew in there and serve before & after the massage. The prices are very reasonable compared to other spas in the city. I’d highly recommend this spa to anyone who is in need of a massage. Special shout-out to Aman and Karuna who did a great job.

Had a relaxing hair wash and super blow dry by Dikimang at the salon. He was very caring and courteous. Overall a great experience

make sure what you want them to do !.. The lady manager really needs some lessons on etiquette . Thank god for one gentleman called Mathew who saved the day. Does not seem like they are aware of reflexology or well trained , one needs to be a little careful. Just a food massage place in my opinion

Day by day the quality going down in chennai. Most of the time they are rude. Very often they change staffs.here membership is useless..better dont take membership here..because no preferences for membership...worst in chennai.

Very worst corporation staff Staff and licence inspectors act like rowdies. Harass small shopkeepers saying pollution control and seize our goods and put fine. Big restaurants like Dindigul thalapakatti, Balaji bhavan are using same packing material but they will harass small shops only. Their staff Rajagowri LI cannot differentiate bioplastic spoon and plastic spoon. They think they are saving the environment by taking goods from small vendors but thousands of same packaging used by corporate restaurants which they can't even enter. Staff like Raja gowri should be suspended for harassing general public. Each corporation staff act as if they have become IAS

I have submitted form for entry of my 2 yrs daughter name in birth certificate before 2 months not yet updated... while entering office itself security telling if u pay him 500 he will get it done in 2 hrs but went ahead submitted form to concerned people ... All corrupts....

worst behavior.. Garbage Cleaning vehicle make traffic around 8.45 am to 9.45 am these is the peak time school and office vehicle struck in the traffic. Near nungambakkam railway station road... up to kodambakkam they make a traffic. the road is too small but the garbage lorry occupy the full road.. corporation officers are brain less..? if they come noon 12pm nobody got trouble.. why don't they follow.. please do the duty correctly.. and dont make disturb to public...

The staffs are very courteous. Good quality oils being used for body massage and they do it very professionally. Very nice experience.

The girl Roshni was good . But they need to work on the hygiene factor . The towels were smelling bad which was a big turn off . Hence I avoided steam and shower which was included in the package .
