Great place to stop in and admire (or buy!) pieces from local artists. There's photography, pottery, paintings, jewelry and stained glass.

Crested Butte is a better place in part because of Raynor Czerwinski, Susan Marrion and the Crested Butte Fine Art Gallery. We have known Raynor and Susan for many years and watched their development as artists grow on an exponential curve upwards. We have purchased several pieces over the years but we enjoy their friendship and camaraderie the most, we are huge fans of them and their work.

I own a few pieces of Raynor’s photography and Susan’s paintings. Both of them are fantastic artists and wonderful people. I would absolutely suggest any art lover stop by and see their art and speak with both of them!

We love coming into this gallery. Both the artists are so welcoming and kind. We purchased a large piece from Raynor and he was exceptional to work with and got the piece installed quickly!

This place is dangerous because of how many amazing jewelry pieces they have! We bought gifts for Christmas and I bought a bunch for myself. The stones they have are beautiful and I love the pieces we bought. This is a must stop and shop place in Ouray! The people who work here are also amazing humans.

Staff was nice and helpful but unfortunately the jewelry we bought was sub-par. Both pieces lost a stone the first day of wearing, which meant I had to reach out to the shop to resolve. I was told I had to send the pieces in for repair. After I shipped the pieces in for repair they were lost by the shop. With a few months of back and fourth, following up, and being the squeaky wheel, I finally received two new semi identical pieces back, only to have them both lose a stone once again shortly after receiving them. I again reached out to the store and one of the workers, again, and was ignored. I throughly understand that these pieces are handmade, but this is unacceptable. My family and I have bought and collected countless pieces of handmade Native American art/jewelry all over America and have never had this issue so early on into wearing the piece. I never make reviews, especially negative ones, but unfortunately quality of jewelry and attention to service are lacking immensely.

When we walked into this store we were told that "this is the best store in crested butte" This experience took a turn for the worst, I went to look at the gemstones they offer i was talking with a old man with glasses he showed me rubies and told me they were 4CT but the price and the size of the rock did not add up and none of the gemstones come with a GIA report, i asked the old man if they came with one, All he did was stutter and came up with writing me a note to take it to get appraised which doesn't even do anything to prove the authenticity of the stone, I was also trying to be nice to talk to this Grumpy old man about pearls, I mention one pearl called a Melo pearls and he said he had never heard of one, They are real and rare, he was offended once I said they are rare and he told me " after being 20 years of gemology i have never heard of this" with a auttied I told him i didn't want to offend but you can't to anything about ignorant people like this old man , after reading his reviews you would think they can make jewelry without the rock falling out, do better .

We went in visiting, having a good time with our family, looking for a gift. Walking in we told our son to be very careful. My son accidentally dropped a bowl trying to show me a Keychain & broke it, which we expected to pay for (of course you break it you buy it.) Well we paid for it, but then the owner (or guy working - with longer white hair & small round glasses- at least) felt it necessary to give my husband & myself parenting advice saying, to my 8 year old son, "well you just bought a pretty onyx bowl (p.s. It wasn't onyx man) .. Usually when kids of your age come in here their parents tell them not to touch things and keep their hands to themselves" and then ejected my husband and myself from the store for telling him we don't need the complimentary advice with the purchase. Being in retail service for many years myself, I have never ever seen someone so RUDE and pompous. This guy was way out of line & I will never forget the way he talked to my son. If I were you, I wouldn't spend a single red cent at this jeweler.

Got my wedding ring here years ago and they’re the best! It has Lapis in it and a piece fell out but they were prompt to send it out for repair.

I had the pleasure of purchasing a beautiful ring from Zacchariah Zypp & Co. The owner went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the fit. It is not often you feel the owner and employees truely care about their customers, I highly recommend this business.

We have been coming to their new central location on Elk for 2 years and have nothing but good things to say about it! Older posts mention previous locations that don't capture the current museum and how much work they have put in to being an amazing gathering place for local and out of town families. We love it here.

We had a great time here! It’s $10 a person (free for 2 and under). Our kids ages 8-4 played for 2 hours and would have stayed longer. Inside there’s tons of crafts, sensory bins, Legos, books, glow in the dark room with blocks, large foam building blocks, a large play camper with a kitchen set and tables etc - all great for imaginative play! Outside there’s a shaded water table, extra large Lego blocks for building forts, chalk and bubbles. Great for a cold, rainy or, in our case, hot day! Support Trailhead!

Fun place to take the kiddos on a snow day. Staff are super nice and there are plenty of games and activities to keep the young ones busy/stimulated.

Fun spot for the kids to play. Lots of stimulating toys and activities. Fun dark room and craft bench. Cozy little play areas throughout the building make for a great escape from the winter cold!

The Trailhead Museum is a gem of a place. My children love spending time there (winter or summer), their art classes are perfect for my almost 5 yr old, and we always look forward to their pop-up events in the community. Thank you Trailhead Museum for all that you do!

The after school and school break camps are great! The teachers are wonderful and our kids always have a blast. It's going to be amazing when they reopen in their new space and for now the Pop-Ups are fun! Thanks for all the hard work!

This store has the most excellent souvenirs, clothing, and more. They have cards, art, supplies, jewelry, stickers, and the BEST prices in town. They also gave the FRIENDLIEST staff. If you were looking for a special gift, or just feel like browsing around, I can’t recommend this store enough…!

Awesome spot for your typical tourist items, I got a sweater and some crested butte shirts. Staff is super friendly, and prices are very affordable for the area.

Been to Colorado many times but this is my favorite shop I’ve ever been to. From shirts and hats, to marijuana paraphernalia, there are so many trinkets and souvenirs. Its very unique and not like other gift shops. The owner is such a friendly person and helps the whole place give of a wonderful vibe.

Cute little store with lots of local crafts. My favorite store in CB every time I go there is something new. If you are gift shopping or looking for something to remember your trip it is an absolute must! Love this place!

Crested Butte Clay Studio has been such a wonderful addition to our community offerings. The space is amazing, the staff is a delight and the workshops are fun for a variety of people. My daughter has done a number of group and private classes and has enjoyed them all so much. We are grateful!

The Crested Butte Clay Studio is a wonderful workspace! Excellent classes with superb teachers and a welcoming, well stocked studio for members and students. I have done single classes, multi week workshops and membership work and would recommend them all.

The Clay Studio in Crested Butte ran an ad in the newspaper in the fall of 2021 and instead of taking a digital design class I had planned, I impulsively decided to take a six week wheel throwing class with a friend. Two+ years later I haven’t looked back! One of the unexpected perks of working in a pottery studio is the community I am now a part of. The Clay Studio is full of warmth, not just from the two large kilns, but from all of the kind, talented members who create such unique art.

I have taken many classes and workshops at the CB Clay Studio and have learned so much from each teacher. The space is bright, with inspiring, positive energy. Being in the studio as a member, I have gained a lot of knowledge in hand building and wheel throwing as well as amazing friendships. We are so lucky to have this amazing creative community space here in Crested Butte!

This is an awesome creative space for clay enthusiasts. It is super organized with everything you could possibly want to create your ceramic art. They offer a great variety of classes and opportunities for children and adults to learn about clay work- beginner to advanced. The friendly atmosphere encourages creativity and fun.

The classes here are top notch and everyone is welcome! This is the perfect place to get your hands dirty whether you are a beginner or advanced potter. The private lessons are also such a fun idea for adult and kid birthdays.

Natalie is without a doubt the best hair stylist in Crested Butte! Her attention to detail shows every time she does my hair, it is flawless and I am always confident walking into my appointment that I am in good hands. 10/10 recommend Natalie to everyone!

Mabuhay is an experience all its own. I have had the pleasure of working and shopping with Blake for over 15 years. Blake has allowed me to procure many pieces of fantastic art, artifacts and the coolest clothes you can imagine. I have purchased jewelry and clothing for "significant others", my daughter, my sons and friends. They are ALWAYS thrilled!! If you visit Crested Butte Mabuhay is a must!!!

Rare store in Crested Butte. Found exciting pieces under $100 and over $1,000, some museum worthy. I left drooling over what I left behind. A worthwhile stop while in town for unique purchases, browsing, or interesting conversation with the owner and a memorable visit.

I was easily able to select some 'one of a kind' jewelry ensembles for a special lady of mine. I also found it very reasonably priced. Blake and wife-Nana made sure I got what she would LOVE. And I hit a homerun with the choices. I have found my 'go to' for unique gifts that will forever be loved and appreciated.

I interacted with the owner and his son on separate occasions and they were extremely helpful. They are knowledgeable and passionate about their products. Overall an excellent experience!
