Amazing path that's a gateway for alpharetta! It's been over 13 years of excellence and I'm so happy to consistently see well maintained and safe trail for so many people! We love all the amazing wildlife that lives here! It's always amazing seeing all the changes in flowers and leaves over the seasons. It's always fun hopping and trying new paths everyday!

Big Creek Greenway is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. The trails are perfect for biking, running, or just a relaxing walk in nature. A peaceful escape right in the middle of the city.

The park is always clean, well shaded and easy access from Wurzbach Rd. and Jones Maltzberger Rd.

Great walking trail with plenty of shade in the Summer. Plenty of widlife, flora and fauna to photograph - different in every season. Lots of lizards and snakes crossing, so there have been times where I have to be careful not to step on one (usually dead because a bike would have run over it). Mostly level - we park on Marconi Dr off Windward Parkway at the small parking lot or alongside the road and walk till Old Milton Parkway before turning around. Most bikers will signal that they are passing on your left but it is best to stay well to the right all the time. A small section goes along the road which is very busy. That section gets very hot in the Summer due to there being no shade, but otherwise an all-season walking trail, though sections get flooded if the creek floods and remain closed till the slush is cleared. Usually well-maintained. There's restrooms at the YMCA that are open to trail users.

Great place to 🚲, hike, and run!

I love this trail and have written it for more than 15 years. Unfortunately all the restrooms on this trail have become almost useless due to lack of repairs. The city of Alpharetta needs to step it up a little.

Beautiful long trail for any type of activity. Biking, walking, running etc. Shaded most of the way. Saw lots of deer!

Great theater, located in a very nice neighborhood. Situated near lots of quaint shops, eateries, and a beautiful fountain. Very regal, offering comfortable setting, great views anywhere you're seated, and surrounded sound. My rating is primarily based on location, surrounding views, and customer service.

The worker Sean working around 9pm at the ticket counter made my year!! HE GOT ME RIGHT.. We got 4 tickets to Fantastic 4 from Sean. He was great at conversing and I enjoyed every minute of it.. He really deserves employee of the year!! The way he buttered my popcorn was reallyyyyyyy nice. Thank you so much Sean!

This theatre is really nice. The recliners are actually comfortable and has long leg supports. The sound quality and overall appearance is nice

8-8-25 - Wife wanted to take advantage of seeing a movie while in the area. The theater is nicely located, and has automated ticket purchasing in person. Serving, Ticket taking, etc staff were pleasant, helpful and more. Each theater contains reclining chairs, cozy theaters, and many food beverage options. We enjoyed our time there and would recommend this location to anyone. Only minor issues was the middle bar wouldn't go back all the way, and occasional conversation that flared up from time to time.

A really good theater located inside the Avalon mall. It has so many screens with comfortable recliner seats & clean bathrooms. Staff are very polite and helpful. It's pretty safe to visit during late night shows too. My favorite part is that it's located just next to a peaceful seating area with a gorgeous fountain, so great for passing time before and after the movie.

Its a good Teater but if u order some Big Food it takes quite long

There's lots to enjoy in Downtown Alpharetta. Parking is a little tricky but there's a bunch of amazing restaurants and some nice green space to enjoy. They also have festivals that are nice and it's close to a library and grocery store. Nice place for a walk.

Alpharetta has really changed. Used to be a sleepy country town. In the past three decades it has massively changed. Love the very forward homes around Main Street, how walkable the area is becoming, and various shopping and living communities Alpharetta has created. I’m sure if you own a farm and horses it may be a curse but from a community and planning standpoint, it’s truly headed in a unique direction. If alpharetta will completely ban fireworks so that our animals lives are not in danger for days on end around every single holiday, I would move there tomorrow.

I liked this place so much. You can visit every evng. Good place for kids to play around, and I like the happenings in this place.

I love this little Downtown its so clean and so nice

What a strange place. It is extremely pretty. Its very walkable. Drivers are extremely polite. Was only here a few days. I wish I had a bike to get back and forth from my AirBnB to the town. The main intersection has a Barnes dance set up. You press one beg button and all motor vehicles stop. There's a lot of dense housing being built here but then there is also tons of parking and the place is basically auto centric.A very beautiful bikable place. Just need MARTA to come here.

Awesome place for a hangout. You can see the events on the website. Most of them will be on Friday evening.

Loved the place, the facilities are beautiful. Could be better organized, also the shaded area is very limited in many people hog the chairs with bags even though the chairs are not occupied. The timings are also quite limited and confusing they need to be open longer, consistent and you need to be open a little later staying open till 6:00 p.m. and closing during the summer would mean that kids have to swim in the hot sun before evening shade Sometimes when it's raining you cannot find a seat to sit even though the chairs are empty simply because they have bags on them and nobody's around!

This park has so much to do and is well maintained. We come here a lot when we’re visiting my sister in Alpharetta. So since it’s near my sister we do our jog on the trail while my husband plays disc golf. The disc golf course is okay by his opinion. He stated the course had some nice challenges but good for beginners or moderate players. Parking is ample throughout all sides of the park. The playground for kiddos is small but that doesn’t seem to stop the children. The public pool is on the main road but still part of the park. There are public restrooms inside the park. It is okay for cleanliness. Could definitely use a little more attention during peak hours and events. There are lots of things to do and see at this park so you’ll never get bored.

I was aggressively chased and verbally assaulted by a young, white, half-dressed homeless male on a Thursday at 10 am. I was told the homeless are “constant” in the park now and “they just keep coming.” If this is a known issue, this needs to be immediately addressed as there are school kids who use the park and lots of women walking alone. If my dogs had not been with me, I believe I could have been hurt by this erratic man. The cops did come as called, but there needs to be steps in place to fix this asap. We have noticed an increase in homeless along Haynes Bridge and 400 since moving here a few years ago from Intown.

I'm only giving 4 stars because of the disc golf course. It's a great park for just about anything, baseball, tennis, pickle ball, walking/running or just sitting the shade watching one of the games. I'm not sure what was more challenging, playing disc golf or figuring out where to start. The tees are not well marked, and we found ourselves pitching for the wrong basket more than once. Also, there's an area where a couple of fairways basically cross, which can be dangerous especially when you're not aware. In addition, there's an area where a set of stairs from the equestrian area lead right into a fairway with no signs of warning. Fortunately, another group adamantly educated a woman and her dog, which educated us as well. On the upside, it's nice and shady with plenty of parking and clean restrooms.

July 4th celebration is always special in Wills Park. Fantastic fireworks display this year too! Glad that rain didn’t spoiled sport this year. Parking arrangements around the park should improve, lot of waits and detour but thanks to law enforcement for traffic arrangements and making smooth.

Very nice park clean and organize and the aqua Class every Saturday and Monday very nice full of fun and energy will thanks Pao for her amazing Aqua class she’s makes everyone at the pool feel so happy also the kids they get good time they are so happy thank you Pao you are amazing 🤩

It is always interesting to learn history from those that made it, and it is always with an open heart that I visit memorials such as this one. Well taken care of and clean, lovingly tendered to. A beautiful and unexpected surprise found in the area.

Worth a visit, sobering reminder.

We admire and respect our veterans..looking outside exposition touch our hearts. The inside it was closed... It looks like there are more to learn and see....

An extraordinary place to visit, it is small. But don't lose sight of this: what makes this place great and impressive is the great story that it can silently tell with every detail. Walking here for 15 minutes and seeing the details of this is a great experience. I recommend it.

I make sure to stop by this park every time I go to the library or the downtown area. Brooke Park is a well-maintained park around the library that goes all the way to the City Hall. There are swings, play area for the kids, a really pretty Creek, benches, a nice fountain and picnic area for families. Great for walking your pets too.

Gorgeous heavily manicured park between gorgeous public library (open) and closed externally gorgeous city hall where I wanted to complain about the traffic cone in the water feature. Everything in Alpharetta is new and gorgeous. It doesn't come cheap. Who paid for all this?

Beautiful gallery and a friendly staff! The Atlanta Collage Society is currently hosting an art exhibition. Go see it!

Formerly the Alpharetta public library, this architectural gem is close to downtown and features art exhibits, clay and painting studios and more. We saw the woodworking exhibit around Halloween and they had a wonderful Edgar Allen Poe scarecrow out front for the city wide Scarecrow exhibit for civic pride. They are part of the pulse of the community.

Lovely exhibit hall, and we have live model painting session weekly. I drive an hour to attend.

This is a cool spot that you should check out when in Alpharetta. It’s free! The gallery has many quality pieces on display. Expect it to take an hour or two depending how in depth you’d like to take your experience. If you live in the area, the Center is also home to a variety of studios and offers classes for both adults and children. I visited the building often when it was the library and wish I hadn’t waited so long to check out its transformation. Don’t make the same mistake!

When I hear Arts Center I think museum. Its not a museum. Its a gallery with space to create art. Like everything else in Alpharetta, its gorgeously done leading one to wonder who pays for it?

Just visited to stop by and check out their piano and It was a beautiful spot to relax and play for a bit. Super nice people that work there! Definitely check it out

Autrey Mill Nature Preserve & Heritage Center is an absolutely gorgeous and serene place to spend the day. The trails are peaceful, surrounded by nature, and offer plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the scenery. I loved exploring and even spent some time playing on the rocks in the creek, which made the experience feel adventurous and fun. Watching the fish swim in the water added a calm, almost meditative touch. One of the highlights was peeking inside one of the old museum houses on the property—it was beautiful, historic, and gave the place even more charm. Between the natural beauty and the preserved history, there’s a lot to enjoy here. It’s the perfect spot for a quiet walk, light exploration, or just to reconnect with nature. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of outdoor adventure and history.

What a great little hidden gem. Was headed to the area and decided to stop by. Sometimes it may seem like the all trails app is taking you in the wrong direction but if you follow it it will lead you to where you're supposed to go. Nice and green and covered so you don't have to worry about heat. Lots of great scenery including a little creek saw a deer and other little critters running around. Very well maintained but not paved so you want to be aware of that if you're in the area you should check it out. It's not for running more for just a good walk and some time out either with the dog or if you're just trying to clear your head. There's lots of what looks like historic things here that are really cool to check out as well. Also has a place with tables to have lunch. Lots of great photo opportunities.

Just wow!!! If you are looking for a nice nature walk/trails and to check out some historic buildings this is it. The staff there were so nice. They talked with us about the history of the buildings and land and even went so far as to open closed buildings for us to see. This is so worth the stop.

I really enjoyed the trails, they are packed tight but quiet and not busy Thursday afternoon. Parking is free but donations are accepted. Visitor center and buildings were closed but we did see few animals.

My friends hosted the sweetest baby shower for us at the pole barn. It was the perfect setting for a spring event! The rental and event manager, Megan, helped make sure the event ran smoothly - setting up, managing, and making sure all of our needs were met! Everyone had an amazing time!

I had my wedding here, at the preserve's Summerour House. It was so beautiful! The historic house is so lovely, it needs no added decoration. Being able to hold the ceremony outside was so perfect for a couple of nature lovers like us. The rental manager was so helpful and pleasant to work with. And, I feel good knowing that my rental fees go to support a nature & history preservation organization. I will be recommending this venue to anyone looking for an affordable spot for a wedding in the future :)

On my travel I stopped here for my Blicky . This park is big . Has three enclosed fences . Doesn't have green turf but it's pretty nice dog park .

There are 3 sections that are each fenced. Each one is pretty big- its not gonna be too crowded. The only down side is that its not turf, so the dog feet are going to get dirty.

I enjoyed my time at the park, especially the obstacle course for the big dogs. My only 2 issues were the muddiness of the grounds. It had recently rained the night before, but a more substantial ground cover might make up for the muddiness. Also, I have a Shepherd/Husky mix who immediately jumped the fence into the other side of the park...I am sure she was not the first to do so... so maybe a slightly higher dividing fence.

Three fairly spacious compartments for dogs. Everywhere there are bags for removing dog poop, a lot of urns, there is water. It doesn't have sand, it has ground and leaves. 👍🏼

This is my favorite place to take my dog, Zoey! It is the cleanest, most well maintained dog park I have ever been to. More importantly, we have never had any bad experiences with aggressive dogs or irresponsible dog owners at Waggy World. Everyone is always polite to one another and attentive to their pets. There is plenty of room for Zoey to run around and explore. Highly recommend to other like-minded dog owners in the Alpharetta area!

Very nice and spacious off leash dog park. They have 3 different areas to try and accommodate most dogs. Small dog area, middle area for social dogs that get along with other dogs and a area for dogs that dont get along with other dogs. They have benches and dog obstacles along with a water faucet with a large water bowl. I have a 1.5yrs old blue pitbull who has a great time everytime. She has never had a issues with others. Would definitely Recommend checking it out.

It's clean, nice and fairly large. A word to the wise of your dog has a lot of energy maybe start with a walk before you unleash it on the park. Also dont enter gate lock when others are entering and exiting. Do not have you dog leashed inside park where other dogs are unleashed. This how dogs get hurt.

Went to watch my grandson play baseball on a very hot day. Parking lot was not like a furnace. Took note that it was a large park with Swimming Pool, Tennis Courts, and maybe more that I didn't see. The ball fields were natural and extremely well kept(FAR above average). A nice park to experience

Went here for the first time for the 4th of July. Parked on the street due to closed roads. Took a 5 min walk with lawn chairs and had the best seat in the house. Worth the walk and boy was it crowded.

Even though the Wacky World wooden playground is dated it still was fun and kept clean. Getting to watch the horses was really cool

Wills Park has something for everyone! It is the most inclusive park I have ever visited! It has so many park options that if you can't find one to enjoy maybe it's you not them because they really put forth the effort!! I love Wills Park!!

The park was neat and tidy. There weren't many people, and there were swimming pools and equestrian riding courses. One lap is about 1.7 miles away. There is a lot of consideration for walking with pets and children. There are many parking lots, so you can use them conveniently. It is minor negative that the stream is small and there is no pond. If you live in Alpharetta, you must visit there once.

We have been to the cast park quite a few times and our first experience at the pool. So much fun

Insider Tip: Some trails have steep sections and gravel, which can become slippery or muddy after rain. If you’re visiting with anyone who has knee or hip concerns, choose a trail that suits everyone’s comfort level. This park combines scenic beauty, thoughtful amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it an easy favorite for repeat visits.

Beautiful park with plenty of Parking space. There is a big kids play area with plenty of swings, slides etc and a sand pit too. You can go for a trail too. There is a pond with fish and Turtles. Overall a perfect place for family.

It is a well laid out and modern park. Is it nice? Well it's in Alpharetta. For those who don't know, Alpharetta is no shabby place. I walkes the trails which are mostly fine gravel. The main trail is supposed to be 1.1 miles but I took all of the smaller side trails too and I added up about 2.8 miles with my step counter.

Beautiful park with many activities to do, even on a rainy day. There are trails, picnic shelters/tables, soccer and baseball fields, and a very large area of play equipment for kids. We loved that they had a piano and other instruments to encourage creativity with play!

I love reviewing parks, especially those that cater to all age groups and pets. Webb Bridge park is one family park that has something or the other to offer for everyone. Small kids have the play area, kids looking to hone their sports talents have the football field, tennis court and baseball field, adults have trails, elders have paved trails and last but not least, pets have the dog park. The best part is that the entire park is clean, well-maintained and safe to visit. Parking is no problem at all and it is free to visit. Important tip: Some of the trails are steep & have gravel that tends to get slippery/muddy after a rainy morning. Please be careful if you have folks with knee/hip troubles. Pick the trail that works for everyone:) And, don't miss the swings!

Webb Bridge Park in Alpharetta is a gem for families looking for a clean, safe, and fun outdoor space. The playground is especially impressive—shaded, thoughtfully designed, and great for kids of all ages. There's a fun sand pit area that usually has a small water stream running through it, which adds a sensory play element many kids love. Unfortunately, during our recent visit, the water stream by the sand pit was closed. It’s usually a big highlight for children, so it was a bit of a letdown not to have that feature available. There was no signage explaining the closure or when it might be reopened, which left some families wondering. Still, the rest of the park makes up for it with walking trails, sports fields, tennis courts, and plenty of green space to enjoy. The facilities are clean, and parking is ample. With the water feature restored, this park would be a solid 5 stars!

Nice place for morning walk or evening walk. This place has designed with kids friendly activities and playgrounds. It’s a very big park . It also has pets playgrounds also .

Small playground area, has a slide for toddlers and one for older children. Two baby swings and two regular swings. Couple benches close by and a walk around path with a big field for running around in the middle. It’s much more manageable to be able to supervise littles and bigger kiddos at the same time.

It’s a favourite park for children as the play area is exciting and interesting for smaller age group. It’s well maintained and has a good cover of greenery. The walking trail is good for strollers and the often the elderly group are found enjoying their walk.Also a good place to have picnics with family and friends.The restrooms are easily accessible and in summer every evening spent here is rejuvenating for kids and parents too.However,the parking area is small and we have to wait to get a spot for parking. Otherwise an enjoyable time in summer 👍👍

This is a great little park. There's plenty of free parking. A bigger playground, toddler playground, and swings. The ground is bark chips. There's public restrooms and water fountains. There's also a large field with a sidewalk track around it. Highly recommend!

Great, small park. Playground for kids that they’ll like. It is exposed to the sun midday, so it will be hot in the summer. There are shaded benches though for the parents and guardians to watch. Walking trail is flat, which is great for people wanting to train on flat ground. Walking trail is exposed, so it too will be hot in the summer for those that care. Good-sized green space inside walking trail for frisbee, soccer or any other large activities. Bathrooms on site,that are really a 3 or 4 out of 10. Not great. There is a public piano for kids to play near the restrooms. Also a rotary book exchange for the kids too. Overall, very nice and I would recommend in the Fall, winter and spring for those more air conditioned. I may run some training at the trails since I prefer to pace myself and no slope is easier.

This is nice place for family and friends to spend good time together. Spring is almost here, big dogwood trees at road side are eager to show lives with flowers after long winter. In the summer, most of the section are covered. The section from McFarland trailhead to Fowler Park section is about 4 miles. Boardwalk comprises most of the passage, it's been carefully maintained. The entire path is pretty flat, no elevation at all which makes it friendly to not only for regular walkers but also for kids, elders and bikers. The parking lot at McFarland trailhead is very limited and elementary, same applies other trailheads, if you get there late, it's not uncommon that parking is full.

Paved, clean, well trafficked. Beautiful in the fall. Lots of bikes here. My son brought his scooter and loved it.

This is one of the best kept secrets for nature lovers, walkers, runners and bikers alike. The upper most point of the trail starts at Webb Bridge Road and following it south will take you all the way down to Old Alabama Road just off of Holcomb Bridge in Roswell. If you follow the entire trail up and back it is more than 20 miles! The trail will take you past protected wetlands, open fields and covered canopies of old and young growth pines and deciduous trees. The trail is typically not very busy during the cooler season, but this is probably the best time to go and see the trees change color from vibrant greens to orange, red, yellow and browns. There are several places to stop and rest, but bring plenty of water during the warm months as there are few places to stop and get water, but about halfway there is a facilities (M/W restrooms), water fountain, a few picnic tables and about 30 parking spaces. The stopping station is near the YMCA at North Point. There are ponds to see indigenous water fowl of Georgia as well as muskrat, beaver and even some deer during certain times of the day. You're more likely to see the deer walking in the wetlands area as there is plenty of food for them to eat, but please do NOT feed the animals. They need to remain timid around humans for their own safety and protection, not to mention your safety too. The trail is fairly wide along most of the trail and is paved from end to end so you can ride this with either a road or gentle rider touring bike. Kids will like it too as there are very few hills to deal with for the most part but if they get tired you can always walk. Stay on the trails as there is no off-road mountain biking in the parkway. You can easily make a whole day excursion on the Greenway, you can either pack a picnic lunch or take one of the many side trails that will take you to places like North Point Mall. I prefer the picnic idea, a backpack with a small blanket, bottle of wine and some munchies. Enjoy the sun in one of the open fields and really soak up some local nature. You'll think that you're in the North Georgia Mountains, but just 12 miles north of the perimeter (I-285). Enjoy! Happy Travels and Safe Biking!

Truly beautiful walking path through the woods. Only issue is that it can flood during heavy rains in certain spots. But being able to walk through the woods and forget you're in the middle of civilization is amazing.

The Greenway is such a great place to go for a run, walk, bike ride. So wide and flat for the most part. Going through the marsh lands is super cool. Lots of things to look at. Love how much they've invested in the infrastructure for the Greenway and hope it continues as it has been for the past few years.

The best trail to ride or walk in metro Atlanta. It's peaceful and you can really detach from your day while recuperating your body and mind. My only concern is the number of competitive cyclists using the trail to train. I'm all about cycling but there are families on this trail and I've seen some of these cyclists at high speeds coming around corners, leaving you little time to react. We actually collided with one once and the person had the nerve to get mad at us! I don't think it should be used in that manner. Just use caution...

This is a fantastic trail to walk in a cool day. Some shade. I saw plenty of interesting wild life. Quiet and serene. You can even ride your bike on the trail. See the real Georgia here.

A nice little park in Alpharetta that connects to a few other trails including the Big Creek Greenway. Free to visit and suitable for biking, walking or jogging, this trail is maintained very well with a good number of amenities. Even on a really hot day, the trail felt cooler as it had plenty of shade and a cool breeze blowing along the creek. I met a lot of people, some pushing their strollers, some biking or a few jogging but the trail was quiet for the most part. It's great for elders and pet-friendly as it's well-paved and flat mostly. Amenities: * Picnic tables * Restrooms * Bike rack * Amphitheater * Little Free Library * Water fountains

Beautiful and shaded. Lots of room for walking, jogging and for bike riders. The path does not wind back to where you park your car if you drive there. You will need to plan on walking back if you decide to walk all the way to the YMCA at the end of the path.

Extremely peaceful, Gorgeous walk, there were deer and so many beautiful birds. My daughter and I caught a little frog & released him back. I do wish they would bring the piano back!! Other than that, there's a little stage area and coliseum style seating all made of stone you can have lunch there or a little study session, meditate, extremely serene, we watched the sunset. One of my favorite spots since I first moved out here from California in 2021. It's romantic even, I highly recommend

This park has incredibly long trails, beautiful trees, you can literally get lots in nature, more than the city park feels like a state park, during the week it is pretty quiet, weekends are more people but not terribly busy, Love it.

A lovely trailhead to enter the main part of the trail. I haven't been here for a few years and the Joro spiders seem to have taken over. Just stay on the trail!

This park offers a very quiet, well-maintained trail with convenient access to the Big Creek Greenway. I go there often for walking, running, and biking—it’s a peaceful, serene spot that provides a much-needed mental break every time I visit.

This place was just absolutely perfect. It is tucked away right off the road and easy to get to in Alpharetta, GA. The place was clean people were biking and the bathrooms very clean. I'd definitely go back.

Beautiful park. Its mostly empty and its well maintained. There are many rides for kids and also, there is a large sitting area next to the park.

Great place to place pickleball! There are 12 courts. Just check the web site for open play days and times.

Lots of small trails with dog waste stations, which is why we go for. Parking is easy. The park is mainly used for sports. There are fields of all types plus a playground.

The courts are nice, but geez, they are ALWAYS full!! And sometimes with people waiting. Makes me want to give it 3 stars for that reason. But I guess it's not their fault the sport is so popular now. Great family friendly sport, clean courts, nice park.

Enjoyed playing Pickleball at North Park. Open play was fun with tons of friendly players with diverse levels of skill. Love it that the park is centrally located in Alpharetta as well, had dinner nearby right after.

It’s nice for a stroller because it has concrete walkways. Went to first playground I found. Not great for a toddler. Just okay. Has walking trails in woods but again not for toddlers. A lot of soccer fields.

Great park with two nice playgrounds and space for run.
