1Atami Sun Beach

Public beach
Atami Sun Beach is a picturesque sandy strip flanked by palm trees and resort hotels, making it a popular spot for moonlight walks and summer fireworks. Conveniently located near rental shops, main roads, and a charming marina, this beach is ideal for summer fun. Visitors can easily find nearby restaurants and convenience stores to grab a bite or bring food onto the sand. The tranquil atmosphere makes it perfect for relaxation and enjoying nature's beauty.
Watching the **Atami Sea Fireworks** was an unforgettable experience. I sat right on the beach, feeling incredibly close to the stunning display. As the fireworks burst into the dark sky, the entire region lit up, and the impact of the sound was exhilarating. The show lasted about 20 minutes, with the first minute and the last two minutes being particularly spectacular, as fireworks shot up in rapid succession. The atmosphere was electric, and I found myself completely captivated by the colors and sounds. The beach offers plenty of space for viewing, and I appreciated that it wasn’t overly crowded, possibly because the fireworks show is a monthly event. Just bring your own mat for a comfortable spot on the sand, and you’re all set. Overall, the Atami Sea Fireworks was a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a magical evening by the sea!

A beach popular with locals as well as tourists to Atami. There is a breakwater promenade on the south side if the beach, hosting a pier for recreational boats, and is a nice place to sit and relax in the evenings. The sun is strongest here in the mornings, given that it faces east.
Jason — Google review
We visited Sun Beach in August 2025. Although the posted swimming hours are 9:00-16:00, in reality most continue to swim after that, just without lifeguards. The sand is soft and the water is fairly shallow and calm. It is very nice to come at night for the illuminations. There were also many families doing fireworks in the sand. There are coin lockers, toilets, showers and footwashes (free), and dumpsters on the beach for trash.
Sarah H — Google review
An amazing beach. You can play different activities here. It's perfect to have a bottle of cold beer walking on the beach in hot summer.
Man W — Google review
I went there on Friday night to see a firework show hosted by the atami city. Although I was a bit late, I still found a decent spot for photos. The Japanese people are really disciplined and polite so there wasn’t any people squishing and pushing around. The beach is also really clean with little rubbish only. There is also a small park beside it with water fountains and some nicely decorated handrails. Overall, the environment and atmosphere is amazing with great hygiene. Definitely recommend it for picnics or to have a swim. Below are some photos I took during the firework show, pls enjoy!!!☺️
A E — Google review
Awesome beach with lots of bars along the coast. Has a great view of Mt Fuji in the distance.
Dian A — Google review
Nice firework show that you can view closely on the beach, with relative not much crowd. The show lasts for around 20 minutes which is relatively short compared to other cities in Japan. It's a pity that they don't have any pop-up stores that sell food or souvenirs. Not many decent restaurants nearby too.
Victor L — Google review
Atami Sun Beach is a stunning and relaxing destination that truly captivates with its beauty. The clean, crystal-clear waters and soft, white sand create a picturesque setting reminiscent of Busan, Korea. Whether you're looking to soak up the sun or take a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, this beach offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In addition to the beach, there are plenty of other attractions nearby, making it an excellent spot for a day trip or a weekend getaway. Whether it's exploring local shops, enjoying delicious seafood, or simply taking in the views, Atami Sun Beach has something for everyone. Overall, it's certainly worth a visit for anyone seeking a relaxing beach experience! 🌴✨

Island
Nature & Parks
Hatsushima is a small resort island located in Shizuoka Prefecture, easily accessible from Tokyo by train and high-speed boat. It's a popular destination for daytrippers, offering activities such as snorkeling, diving, and picnicking. The island is known for its seafood eateries where visitors can enjoy fresh catches in a BBQ style at the Hatsushima Picnic Garden near the sea.
This is Shizuoka’s only inhabited island and it’s about two hours from Tokyo. 30 minutes by ferry from Atami port. It’s a beautiful little island with great views and delicious food. I enjoyed walking around and enjoying the scenery. I highly recommend visiting PICA, there you can relax on a hammock or take a dip in the “island bath”. There are also many beautiful flowers there when they are in season. Also on a clear day you can catch a great view of Mt. Fuji. Even though it’s small there’s a lot to do here like diving, fishing, hot spring, and etc. Check it out.
Kelly J — Google review
There is not much to do there, except enjoying the boat trip and refreshing breeze. There are few restaurants but you will mostly have to queue. I would not recommend to visit the island unless you have to kill time. Plan well you return to make sure you don’t wait too long for the next boat to return Atami.
Olivier M — Google review
I love the place and I want to go there again and stay in Hatsushima hotel soon🥰
Ella N — Google review
Magic little island. Loads to see. Recommend a visit but plan ahead to get access to the things you want to see. If you aren't staying make sure you keep an eye on the last ferry time as they don't wait!
Will B — Google review
It is a small island which is about 30 mins traveling by boat from Atami. The round-trip ticket price is ¥2600 yen for adult and ¥1300 for children. I spent about 4 hours on the island.
Duc N — Google review
A very small island in Atami which is accessible by ferry boat, it takes about 30 minutes from Atami port, recommended for someone who is fond of fishing and diving, people who live here is so warm and polite, you can also enjoy fresh sea foods here,
Karizza S — Google review
Not worth being here unless you travelled all other places you can visit and nothing is left, or if you already have a reservation for scuba diving. Many ppl were fishing here so maybe that’s the other option you will have here. There are basically not much things you can do. Limited number of restaurants benefiting the vested interests mostly being so rude to customers prevented me to even try queuing. If you are starving and you are cool about arrogant restaurants, you can of course try queuing but ppl say there’s only a few restaurants serving good food so you will need to choose the longest queues (again, this is what I heard but not something I tasted and compared) Speaking of scuba diving here, I did see some random fishes and the visibility (on September) was not bad. Maybe joining an advanced group might even lead you to see some better stuff. The dive shop I attended (located in Atami) was nice as the staffs were kind and friendly. To sum-up, for the scuba diving part, I’d say it’s good for training or maybe for relaxing underwater having a chill dive...but to this island, I don’t think I will visit again.

Atami Plum Garden is a must-visit destination, especially from January to March when it hosts a vibrant plum festival. The garden boasts 3,000 plum trees with various colors and types of blossoms. Visitors can enjoy the serene atmosphere by strolling through the park, admiring waterfalls and the Korean Garden, and visiting the memorial museum.
Cute spot with several plum and cherry blossoms blooming as of late February. Although we didn't try it, there's a small onsen to dip your feet at the top of the route. Unfortunately it was very cloudy when we went, but still a good experience. The garden is located at the top of a hill from the nearest train station. Several street food vendors available within the garden. Animal-friendly spot with several guests having leached dogs and even a leached cat.
Roberto Z — Google review
I came here end of Feb 2025 and most of the plums fully bloomed. The garden is very beautiful with scenic setting, walking trails and a small foot bath at the end of the garden. There’s a waterfall where you can go inside
Jupiter N — Google review
What a beautiful park. It's not lit up, so you want to go there during daylight hours. The museum/memorial is located within the garden and has strict opening times. While the garden is free, the memorial requires a small entry fee. We strolled around the garden in April. Water was gushing down the streams and over small falls. There are tributes to other cultures, including Korean. At this time of year, the plants and trees are blossoming. There are a number of places to sit and enjoy the ambience. A very relaxing energy. The walkways are wheel chair friendly. A few people were taking their dog for a walk. I didn't see any big dogs, though. You can get get drinks at vending machines at the entrance. Otherwise, there is a 7/11 across the road. The walk from Kinomiya train station is moderate in difficulty.
Peter H — Google review
Pictures as of 22/Feb 2025. Park was bigger than expected and a great hike up if u choose to walk from the blossom bridge, I would suggest taking the bus. Visitors are plentiful but not overwhelming. Price for local residents and tourist staying in Atami is 100yen and others are 300yen.
Khai — Google review
It’s unfortunate we weren’t there for the blossoms. A wonderful way to spend 3 hours. Waterfalls, gardens, beautiful trails. Admission was only ¥100.00. You won’t be disappointed.
Richard L — Google review
I visited on 1st Feb. The plum blossoms were not in full bloom and a lot of trees were still bare, but it was still beautiful! The foot bath is very hot, so be careful if you are sensitive ~
Stella D — Google review
Not all the trees were fully in bloom, but it was still beautiful and the sweet scent filled the air was very relaxing. I didn’t expect the garden to be as large as it was, though.
Ghifaroza — Google review
Around 8 minutes by taxi from Atami station. No need to buy ticket for 梅園. Although it was raining but the 紅葉 was amazing. This place is with very good maintenance and worth to come. You can walk around and take bus near by the museum. The museum is a peaceful place but need to buy ticket. We entered but mainly to use the toilet there(sorry to say that).(photos taken on 12/15)

Ascend to the hilltop of Atami City by taking a ride on the Atami Ropeway, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city, Sagami Bay, and the lush green mountain ranges of the Izu Peninsula. Once at the summit observation deck, indulge in some soft-serve ice cream at Umi Sora Cafe before exploring attractions like Atami Castle and Atami Trick Museum.
The ropeway may look basic and worn out, but being Japanese, it still functions well. It's the most convenient way to reach the top of the hill and enjoy the view of Atami castle and other attractions. Opting for the packaged ticket that includes admission to the adult museum helps you save money, and I recommend it if you're interested in exploring some explicit content. Overall, a good experience that won't break the bank.
Faisal D — Google review
Other than going up for the view...I don't know if it's worth the inconvenient wait. The queue for the ropeway ticket was a few hundred people. I queued for more than half an hour and still not at the ticket counter. There are no ticket vending machines, and only ONE counter open for ticketing. Very inefficient system.
EdLaine O — Google review
They have stated it’s the shortest ropeway and since most shops do not open till about 10-11am we decided to go for it. It’s only a 2min ride leading to a fantastic sea view on the hilltop. An adult museum and Atami theme park castle which we never visited. The ropeway is old and surrounding facade look tired but there is a rustic charm. We find the port interesting leading to a lemon island also.
YL — Google review
It is dated and short ride. However, it is the only way up to Atami castle and great view of Atami. It is pretty $$, 900 for adults and 500 for kids round trip. The ride only last 2.5 mins.
Uncle C — Google review
View is great. Service itself is fine, just a bit dated.
Ryan — Google review
It was a short ride but fun. I didnt like my wife and I having to wait 20 to 30 minutes for a que (line of people) to buildup. The cart could have been up and back down like 5 or 6 times by then and so having to wait did nothing but waste our time.
John M — Google review
We tried the Atami Ropeway since there isn’t much else to do around town and the price seemed fair. The ride is super short — less than 2 minutes — and runs every 15–20 minutes (or when there are enough people). Make sure to grab a good spot for the best sea and mountain views, especially on a cloudy day! It’s also the easiest way to reach Atami Castle.
BlackbeardxZoro — Google review
I took the Atami Ropeway to get to Atami Castle quickly, but it ended much faster than I expected. The facility itself is a bit run-down, but it's not in a dangerous condition. It seems to have no purpose other than for going to Atami Castle."

Himenosawa Park is a picturesque sports area built on hills that provides excellent hiking trails and sporting facilities. The park boasts of an azalea garden and superb views of Sagami Bay. One can easily spot the ocean from the park's elevated location, which offers stunning views on clear days. It is well-maintained with lush greenery, jungle gyms for kids to play around while trekking, and ample car parking spaces available.
Lovely place to go for a hike early morning. The smell in the area is out of this world! The view from the top is breathtaking.

I when here whith my cousins, but this place doesn't have many safety regulations so I almost died here many times and I haven't came back here since. (The playground equipment is very slippery and is also on a very VERY steep drop) I feel like the toilets have to be cleaned more, but I'm not sure for real because I haven't come back since the "almost died" incident.
BoomyThe_ — Google review
It's a long but not difficult hike with lots of jungle gyms for kids to play on during the trek. Good car parking, reasonable toilets and great views
Lloyd W — Google review
This is by far one of the best parks I’ve been to anywhere. If you like hiking, flowers, trees, birds, streams, views, forest smells, cleanliness, bathrooms, parking, maps, vending drink machines, etc. etc. go here! I recently discovered this park and have taken 3 different routes all amazing. On top of that there are challenging exercise courses all along the course maybe 50 or so. Warning that it’s difficult for the first half as you start below but keep in mind it’s downhill and easier on the return. If you are ambitious you can go to the observatory above the park where you will see 360% breathtaking views of the surrounding areas including Mount Fuji. I recommend the flower bed path to the top which takes you on a path perched between two gullies on the left and right beautiful. There are maps everywhere. There are a few challenging paths that include ropes and steep trails but rest assure I see 8 year old kids doing it easily. This is a popular place for families and kids and I’m am amazed how fit they all are.

Atami Ginza Shopping District, located just a short walk from Atami Station, offers a nostalgic charm with its retro buildings and coffee shops that harken back to the Showa era. As you wander through the district, you'll encounter traditional Japanese scenes like dried fish hanging and quaint alleyways. ACAO FOREST is a vast expanse of floral gardens, including a swing on the cliffside, a shrine and a cafe. It is well-known for its picturesque beauty, making it extremely popular among photographers. The aroma emanating from the flowerbeds provides an invigorating feeling to visitors. Admission fee costs 2k yen and includes transportation to the top of the garden with an option to walk back down.
Fun and joyful location to explore. The scent making workshop was very cute to do as a couple.

On the Atami hillside overlooking the Sagami Bay is a a gem of a spot where nature is nurtured to bloom. The acao forest is a collection of 12 themed gardens, art installations, shrines and one of the most stunning views of the bay especially on a clear sunny day. It is best arrive here by car and there is ample parking. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance but u save yourself 20% with an online purchase of 2000Y for entry. I recommend taking the shuttle to the top of the hill side and slowly make your way down by foot to enjoy all the gardens. At the top, it is a short hike to visit the shrine, the land art park and some of the gardens. The whole area is fun to explore and don’t forget your camera as the various cliff side views, swings, seats make for great pictures. Even in the midst of winter where the bloom is at its lowest it made for a great day out. There is a cafe cum cocktail bar near the summit and a lovely Italian restaurant at the base. Both are worth a visit just for a meal with a view!

**Land Art Park ACAO Forest** is a breathtaking hillside park perfect for sightseeing and relaxation. Spanning a vast area, it’s adorned with blooming flowers and whimsical props ideal for photo opportunities. Despite its size, the park features a convenient shuttle bus service, making it easy to explore. I recommend visiting the park before noon for the best lighting; I arrived at 3:30 PM and found the photos lacking in brightness. Fortunately, as the sun began to set, the sky transformed into a beautiful pink hue, creating a stunning backdrop for my pictures. I also had the pleasure of visiting **COEDA House**, a café designed by the renowned architect Kengo Kuma. The structure elegantly mimics the shape of a tree, harmonizing perfectly with the surrounding landscape. I enjoyed a delightful cake and coffee there, making for a truly pleasant afternoon. Overall, ACAO Forest is a must-visit for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts alike!

Amazing place with a spectacular view! It’s a bit on the pricey side, but the service makes it worth it—the bus driver even went out of his way to return a passenger’s lost sunglasses. It’s best to arrive early to avoid crowds and to get great photos. They even have selfie stands, which is perfect for solo travelers. Highly recommend!

A beautiful place. At the time of this review price is now ¥4,000, but it is totally worth it if you take your time. Many people just go to the spots catered for instagram, like the swing and bell, but the entire garden is beautiful and they have a herb workshop by the fountain. Take the shuttle to the top then walk down. Well with the trip.
Trevor T — Google review
When I was there in May, the rose was blooming. So pretty!! We took the shuttle bus to the top, but I enjoyed it more on the walk from the top to the entrance.
Frank X — Google review
Herb and rose garden out of nowhere. With beautiful flowers ans herbs. They have a bus to ride inside . Usually people go up the hill by bus and come down walking and enjoying views. At the top they have shrine, botanical garden and a cafe. As you stroll down you will enjoy great views and some surprises waiting for you . Cafe is nice with different pizza menu. Shop is good. For access: bus stop is just outside the garden.
Mugdha G — Google review
Ended up here by accident, but it was a beautifully maintained forest/garden. When you get there, you pay a small fee to be ridden on a bus to the top of the mountain and then you start to make your way down. It's not that bad of a climb but if you have leg problems you may want to consider taking the bus down which I saw some people do!

Steam from hot springs curls into ocean air; the station glows with weekend excitement. Atami is both retreat and reunion — laughter against surf, neon against starlight. The Tōkaidō Line ends in warmth, its rails gleaming toward tomorrow’s tide. Tourist Tip: Gateway to Izu Peninsula. Enjoy hot springs, seaside fireworks, and onsen ryokan stays. A fitting finale for a journey from Tokyo’s glass to the ocean’s blue.

A very well kept train station with modern design and brigh lights. There are shops there with friendly staffs for you to explore and get last minute souvenirs or a bite to eat before boarding your train. However I'm very disappointed with the JR staff at the JR counter next to the gates at the main entrance, he was very rude, didn't let me finish my question regarding the location of train stamp, cut me off mid sentence and slammed the window shut, this happened on the 21st October 2025 at 7:50pm.

Compact and easy to navigate train station. The shopping and souvenir center are good

If you're going to Atami station, and your used to the speedy transit system from Tokyo, be prepared to wait a little longer for your train here. Depending on where your going from Atami station, you may be able to get the exact time slots for departures/arrivals. And if so, it's best to find that out ahead of time. Going to Tokyo, I waited for about 20 minutes. That's just the nature of a non busy station. So plan ahead of time. If not, no worries. They do have a shopping area connected to the station that you can explore a bit while waiting for your train.

From this station, you can get to Hamamatsu from the westbound train on the Tokaido Line , from the eastbound of the Tokaido Line, you can get to the center of Tokyo (Shinagawa, Tokyo, Ueno) and also on the Ito Line, you can get to Ito and Izukyu-Shimoda. From here you can also ride on the toll limited express train Odoriko. This train usually go to Tokyo, Izukyu- Shimoda from here. The Shinkansen Kodama and sometimes Hikari stops here. At this station, there is a great Japanese soba and udon restaurant on platform number 1. You can order right outside of the restaurant. There, you will find a ticket machine and you have choice to pick any item on the menu. Make sure to decide either you will get the soba or the udon. There are no chairs and it is a small place. On average, five people at the time can be in that restaurant. However, the udon tastes great and the workers were really friendly and helpful. It is not as crowded and if you happened to be at the Atami Station, especially alone, for a lunch, I believe that is definitely a place to go.

Hatsushima Adventure "SARUTOBI" is a great addition to a trip to the hot spring resort town of Atami. It offers plenty of fun activities for families, making it an ideal complement to the Atami experience. Visitors can enjoy thorough and easy-to-understand explanations from the staff, ensuring a fulfilling time on the island. While transportation around the area may be limited, planning ahead and printing application documents in advance can help streamline the process.
(Translated by Google) There are stages 1 and 2, and if you wish to continue into Stage 2 after Stage 1, you can. However, it seems that you cannot quit once you have started both stages, so be careful. Personally, Stage 2 involved some sections that required a lot of muscle and core strength, so I got a little tired, but looking back, I think it was good exercise. It was great value for money! One thing to note... There is a light zip slide(?), so your clothes may get dirty, so it might be a good idea to wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. (See video) Also, I recommend bringing your own work gloves so you don't have to buy them. You were allowed to bring your cell phone and drinks as long as you put them in the rental bag!

Terrible reservation system, especially if you're a tourist. You need to reserve beforehand, even when there's few people, because only a tiny number of people are allowed in a time slot. It's entirely in Japanese. And you need a Japanese address. And phone number. I had all of those, and managed to enter everything in Japanese, but then simply never got a confirmation email. No way to resend it either. So I gave up, came here for nothing.

(Translated by Google) Three generations of parents and children participated: myself (around 40 years old), my son (5 years old, 110cm tall), and my mother (66 years old). I think the cost performance is good among the forest adventures that are available all over the place. I read a lot of reviews and couldn't find anything about a preschooler conquering the second course, so I joined with the goal of completing half of the course. However, it went more smoothly than I expected and I cleared the first stage. My mother, who decided to participate without knowing why, also whipped her old body, and was thrown off by the zip line at the end of the first stage, but it looked like it was going to be fun. What should we do? I asked my son, and he said, ``I'll do it next time!'' So I started the second stage nervously wondering if I could clear it. In the second stage, the difficulty level increases, the attractions become less fixed, and you can play at your own pace. This is more difficult for people who are heavier because the shaking is more intense. Especially 15 spider nets! I've seen similar playground equipment in parks, but the top and bottom are properly fixed, so I feel like I can climb it smoothly. I had a hard time. The child was hanging on the harness and was moving forward a little with his hands. I feel like it's cheating, but is this possible? The most difficult part was the 18th bridge. It was really difficult to move through the area where there were so many ups and downs. Here is today's biggest difficulty. Children who are unable to reach the ropes of the bridge due to their height and have to carry the harness may lose their footing at a moment's notice. However, because the course is sloped and the finish line is higher, if I let go of my foot, I would be pulled by the harness and end up going back on the course like a reverse zip 3 or 4 times, and I would be unable to proceed on my own. I realized and started crying and got stuck. Hey, hey, it's possible to retire mid-way, I thought, so I went back to my child and carried him on my back (he was floating on a harness, so he wasn't heavy) and crossed the 18th bridge. of. (There was only one person in the basic course. I judged it to be an emergency and went back to help.) It was extremely difficult. Really. My mother did her best. As long as you clear number 18, you'll be at the goal! All three of us did it! And a great sense of accomplishment! it was fun. It was a very good memory. As a result, it turned out that both parent and child are quite comfortable in high places. (I once crossed the Futen suspension bridge at Lake Sagami, but it was so high that I got scared and stopped walking.Compared to that, 7 meters was an okay height.) Other than that, I also went to VOTAN and Asian Garden, but I didn't think it was necessary to pay for either. The open-air bath was lukewarm (-☆), but I thought the view would be nice if the weather was nice. When we went ☁️ By the way, our specs are me and my mother, slow feet, average athleticism. The child has normal legs, is not afraid, but has normal motor skills. Roller coasters are the type that are too scary for children to ride.

It’s a good place to stop by if you have kids when you are traveling from east to west izu or vice versa. Free admission and free parking. You can buy food for animals for 100 yen. To milk the cow is 300 yen but you can only do 5 squeezes which I thought was a bit rip off. We spend 1000 yen to have kids ice cream. One ice cream making experience would have been enough doe 6 of us. They sell local food on weekend and I enjoy buying their local food. Overall kids had great time.

Fishing pond
If you're looking for a unique fishing experience, "海上釣堀太公望" is the perfect destination. Located just a short 10-minute walk from the train station, this offshore fishing pond in Ajiro offers an exciting day out for families and friends alike.
(Translated by Google) I felt like they were unfriendly over the phone, but when I went there, they were very kind and nice. I went with 5 people. I thought it would be okay to use two rods, but it was so hot that I borrowed three rods to make it a short battle. There is only one tarp tent that can seat about 4 people on the sea, so there is basically nothing to block the sun while fishing. You can catch up to 2 sea bream and 5 horse mackerel with each rod, but the horse mackerel is quite tough. I was able to catch up to the maximum limit after a little more time. Although it was a Saturday, the place was empty, probably because I went around 1:30pm or because of the intense heat, and the man at the fishing spot was very helpful, giving me one-on-one guidance and feeding me. The trick to horse mackerel is - Submerge the rod so that the tip of the rod is in the sea. (Old man's instructions) ・It is difficult to catch horse mackerel, so keep an eye on the bait. ・Do not move until you hit the target. (I won't invite you) ・If there is a hit, match it. ・Krill for food should be small. If it's big enough, it will drop its head and tail. -Hide the tip of the needle with bait. If you wait patiently and include the service time for baiting, I think you should be able to catch fish. I had some of the fish I caught cut out for me, and they were delicious. We took the leftover fish home and enjoyed it. When I tried it, the time passed quickly and even adults could enjoy it. I would like to go again if I have a chance.

They will flat out refuse service to foreigners who don’t speak fluent Japanese (citing vague safety concerns). Beware. If that happens to you, go to the other fishing rental spot to the right - no signs in English there but super friendly staff.

Pretty good although the weather was really poor when we went. Getting in and out of the boat that takes you to the fishing area can be a real challenge. With this plan, we were able to catch one sea bream and one horse mackerel, and we were also able to eat the fish we caught for lunch. Fishing is affected by the waves as the fish pens are located on the sea. Although there is a fence to ensure safety, it does shake a lot and some people may get drunk. using krill for bait Since the fishing time was only 30 minutes, I was worried whether I would be able to catch a fish, but I was able to catch a sea bream on my third attempt and a horse mackerel on my first attempt. For Thai, you can choose from sashimi, boiled, or grilled, and for horse mackerel, you can choose from sashimi, fried, or grilled. Thai is very fatty, and when grilled, you can enjoy the flavor of the fat even more. We recommend fried horse mackerel, where you can eat the whole horse mackerel from head to tail. I made a reservation through Jalan, but since I'm not enthusiastic enough to work hard from the beginning in the morning, I arranged a time over the phone and swung the rod from after 10:00 until the end at 2:30 p.m. The catch was one filefish and a small rockfish from outside the fish tank. However, the children enjoyed just being taken on board the boat and were happy to be taken to the toilet. It was unexpected that the fish stopped biting after noon and I couldn't catch any fish even in the fish tank. The captain is kind and will tell you many things if you ask. Saw this retro game center/tobacco store on TV before so dropped by for a visit when we went to Atami. The staff (2 guys) were not very friendly. They have sign saying photos not allowed inside and asked us to leave our backpack and bag outside on the small table. They only turn on the power if you want to play the games but they don't explain anything (not that they're busy coz we were the only two people at the store that time). We tried 2-3 different games (about 10 or 20yen per game) but we had no idea what happened. Did the machines really work?

(Translated by Google) I wrote a review before, but it was deleted, so I'll write it again. A few years ago, a trip there became a sad memory due to the customer service attitude of a male staff member. I didn't read any reviews when I visited, but I got a sense of a harsh atmosphere from the signs posted all over the store and the staff glaring at the children of previous customers. I saw a sign saying ``Let's say hello,'' so I called out to the clerk, who grumpily returned the sign. (Isn't it strange to ask for a greeting if the answer is grumpy?) I put some money in and started playing, trying not to be rude. The game itself was successful on the first try, but nothing happened. When I was talking with my friend who was with me about what was going on, a store employee came over and told me sternly, ``The power isn't turned on on that side.If you want to do it, please let me know.'' However, we had already spoken to each other at the time of greeting, and there were only us and a parent and child from a previous customer in the store, and the parent and child had just finished playing the game. They should have seen where we were about to start the game. The previous customer was playing a game here, so I didn't think it would be usable. Wouldn't it have been better if you had said that from the beginning when you said hello? Even if you didn't notice what we were about to do, I think it's strange for you to say things in a way that makes you angry. After that, he turned on the game console, but he kept staring at me. I felt uncomfortable and went home immediately. Posters saying things like "no air shooting" or "please say hello" may have come from experience in stores, but how about being treated unfairly by people who are trying to follow those rules? In fact, if you're making demands on someone, I'd like them to provide customer service and business accordingly.

(Translated by Google) Unlike the reviews, the owner was nice. The children also said that he was a kind man✨ But I bought four chocolates wrapped in heart-shaped aluminum. I used three ramen lots and ate them on the spot. Ramen Kuji's sweets are running out... 4 hours later I have a sore throat and vomit. When the chocolate is opened Two of the four chocolates had holes in them, and two larva-like insects came out from inside. I took photos and videos My daughter, who was looking forward to the chocolate, burst into tears. I wonder if there is a candy store...quality control... It might be better to be careful unless it's sealed. (Translated by Google) nostalgic. I remember when I was a kid and was obsessed with it. I think each game is well made. Thank you for maintaining it. I enjoyed it with my daughter who is over 20 years old. Adults also buy candy. Even though I thought I bought too much, it was only about 400 yen. I don't live nearby so it's not easy, but I think you need to spend money to go to the places you want to visit. (Translated by Google) It was fun to have an old-fashioned gaming experience. However, the attitude of the old clerk was poor. First of all, even before you enter, it's full of posters that make fun of customers. I was surprised to read something like, ``This is not a restaurant that attracts customers by flattering people through word of mouth.'' As soon as I entered, he said, ``Do you want to play a game? If you want to play, just turn it on.'' and ignored my request, ``Please let me see.'' I turned it on without permission and said, ``Please read the instructions before trying.'' When I was using my phone while playing, someone yelled at me, "Please stop filming!!! Delete it!" After that, when I was looking at the game and saying, ``I wonder how it's going to be done,'' he yelled at me again, even though I hadn't even touched it, ``Please read the instructions before you touch it! Don't shoot in the air because it will break!'' Rare. The poor old clerk kept watching us while looking proud, which made me feel very bad. It's nice to keep a retro game from over 40 years ago, but the old man at the store is so bad that I think it would be better to change the old man's humanity first. If you do that, you should be able to attract customers naturally without having to write things like ``Attract customers by flattering people.''

(Translated by Google) There had been a lot of bad reviews about the staff, so I was prepared before going, but when I got there it was nothing like that at all. Sure the rules may be strict, but as long as you follow them properly no one will say anything, and I guess a certain amount of rules and monitoring is unavoidable in order to ensure that everyone can play retro games in such good condition... The staff were friendly and spoke to me, so maybe the other posters had some concerns from the store's perspective. It was a great store that I want to visit again!!

Nestled in a prime location at Atami Spa Marina, 熱海FITs Dining is a delightful culinary destination that recently opened its doors on August 5th. This charming eatery offers an inviting atmosphere with both indoor seating and a lovely terrace featuring three tables, making it perfect for groups of all sizes.
(Translated by Google) FITs Dining just opened on August 5th. The original curry and exquisite pasta served in the best location are the best words. There are 3 tables on the terrace and many tables inside. It is also good that it can be used by a large number of people. Personally, the best one is the original curry. The flavor of the minced meat and the perfect balance of spices are wonderful. After eating it the day before, I couldn't forget it and went to eat it again the next day. This is a taste that everyone should try. Also, the three staff members were more interesting the more I talked to them, and I had a great time there. What was supposed to be a normal sightseeing trip turned out to be a restaurant with familiar faces where I could take a break. We have found the perfect place for you. I would like to come back to eat curry again. Why don't you all go and check it out at least once?

My wife and I visited FITs dining the other day, it was our first time. This restaurant offer pretty good food, I loved their curry meat sauce pasta, my personal preference, the noodle could be a little harder to make a perfect meal. My wife had the cheese curry rice, another flavory plate. We also preferred their french fries, freshly made and delicious. This place is quite comfortable to sit inside, so we ended up ordered more drinks and enjoy the great view.

Nagahama Seaside Park is a hidden gem in the northern part of Izu, offering a beautiful beach with calm waters and lifeguards on duty. It's conveniently located just a 5-10 minute walk from Izu-Taga station and features excellent facilities, including a nearby cafe and rentals. The park also boasts a cute playground for children and designated swimming areas for different age groups.
Visit back in Oct 2022 -- it was the pit-stop for the kids to have their playtime after checking-out from Atami and on our way to Mt. Omuro. The play area is large with great variety for kids under 3s and those older ones. It's cute that some play equipment is ocean theme too -- can you see the whale?? :D It's also nice how it is situated by the beach....so I can imagine what a fun family day it would be during hot & comfortable (not blazing hot/humid) days!! I also found out there's a pudding dessert shop just across the street too - that's on my list to try next time.

This beach is quieter than Atami Sun Beach. There are docks in the water that you can swim out to and rest on. There are showers, toilets, and a snack bar nearby. I enjoyed how quiet and relaxing the beach was.

Saturday markets with food and music. Nice beach, has changing rooms. Across road from the desert shop everyone tries to find (the less busy branch).

I went to the beach on 29th August, it was not much crowded and the waves were good enough to take a dive in the beach. It is 5-7 mins walk from Izu-Taga station. There is a beautiful cafe near by and they have rentals as well. It is 10 mins by train from Atami station and one can take the green car which costs 800 yens more from Tokyo to Atami. On the whole it was a hidden gem for me, liked it much more than Atami beach.
Shubhansh A — Google review
Cute park with fun palyground equipment for 11 or 12 years old and under. There's a designated area for 3 and under as well. The beach was pleasant, though too cold for swimming early spring. The south parking lot closed at 1700, which seemed a little early, but it still gets dark kind of early here, too, so perhaps that is reasonable for now.
