Via Camerelle is a prominent street in Capri, lined with designer clothing and jewelry boutiques, bistros, and luxury hotels. It's the perfect place to indulge in high-end shopping and experience the luxurious atmosphere of Capri. The street is known for its exclusive fashion boutiques featuring international brands, making it a must-visit for those who appreciate upscale shopping experiences.
This is where all the shops are but they are very expensive. However I recommend you take a stroll as the street is so beautiful with all the flowers. We liked our walk here very much.

This place is just beautiful, eye catching and stunning. The whole area was filled with beautiful fauna and mesmerising scenery. Many of the boutiques located around the area sold hand crafted goods. All the bags, clothes, crockery and candles were all hand made. The pride and sense of community here is very strong. There were many luxury stores too which sold expensive and high end products too. The streets were decorated with religious artwork which wasn't invasive but prideful. A warmth resonated from this area. It is not possible to travel in this area with a pushchair or wheelchair as there are many stairs to get around. Comfortable shoes are most certainly advised.

Via Camerelle is a charming, upscale street in Capri, known for its luxury boutiques, elegant atmosphere, and beautiful scenery. It’s perfect for a leisurely stroll, window shopping, or enjoying a coffee at one of the cafes. The Blue Grotto is a famous sea cave that can be reached by boat. It is renowned for its stunning bright blue waters, which are a result of the sunlight reflecting off the surface. This attraction is part of a larger collection of sightseeing spots and fun activities on Capri island, offering visitors opportunities to experience local culture, dine at great restaurants, find budget-friendly accommodations, shop, party, and relax.
It’s an awesome experience. We got the bus down from Ana Capri (which was an experience in itself…). The queue was about 2hrs long and it was in the heat down the steps but we bought water and fans from the shop you pass through. The boat tour is absolute chaos but brilliant fun and once inside the grotto it’s lovely and you get serenaded by the skippers. Worth the wait. They were all done by 2:30pm as the waters were high so best get there early
Danny W — Google review
The cave and the color of the water is amazing. It was an adventurous experience to change the boat . Quite a wonder that it worked out fine. The waiting time to get in the cave is really long und it was so tight in this small boat. Thank god I took a pill to prevent a motion sickness otherwise it would be a torture. Well, altogether it was an experience but it really expensive. I really don’t know for sure if it worth it.
Som M — Google review
It is an experience that is a "must do" if you are visiting Capri. We were there early at 8:15am, and were literally the 2nd group in line. They start the tours at 9am. They started a little early, and we were actually out of the cave and on shore at 9am. We had thought it was going to take almost 2 hours (which is definitely possible because by the time we were out, there were 50 people in the line on shore, and a couple dozen boats of people waiting for the small boats to pick them up 4 at a time to go into the cave).
Keith E — Google review
Very much a tourist trap, only do it if you have the means for it. Costs about 18€ per person and an additional 10€ for the boat rower. Also only do it if there is not a lot of wait. We only waited 15 min and didn’t know what to expect. The tour inside is only 5 minutes. Each boat takes 4 people and you have to duck down to fit inside the cave entrance. I would say you are not missing much if you don’t do it, there’s a lot of other better things to do in Capri.
Falene C — Google review
Clear blue waters. Mysterious coves. Light breeze. That's all you need for a perfect getaway in this paradise situated in Capri. The natives taking you inside the Grotto are friendly and welcoming, singing beautiful Italian parodies that touch your heart. The cave inside the Grotto dates back to the time when a Romanian king came to this Grotto by digging a tunnel for 90m. There a huge line for this but the experience itself is out of this world. Highly recommend!
Yamini K — Google review
The Blue Grotto in Capri is absolutely magical! The moment you glide into the cave, the sunlight reflecting off the water creates a glowing, almost otherworldly blue that takes your breath away. The boat ride is short but unforgettable, and the experience feels truly unique to Capri. The guides are friendly and add to the charm with their singing and stories. It’s a must-see—photos can’t capture the beauty, you simply have to experience it in person!
Sylvia D — Google review
Nature at its best. The color of the waters is surreal. Must see in person, well worth a boat ride there.
EH — Google review
honestly, this is just an amazing experience! the time spent in the grotto is quite short, but it is so emotional and it is so beautiful! I recommend it to everyone

Monte Solaro, the highest point on Capri, is a limestone mountain with the remains of a Napoleonic War fort and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the island, including the iconic Faraglioni rocks and even Naples and Salerno on the mainland. The mountain is home to diverse flora and fauna, including nesting birds like the Peregrine Falcon and unique species such as the Blue Lizard.
Nice chair lift to the highest point of Anacapri. 20 minutes wait line and on the top we sat for some cold drinks. Lovely views. There's not much to do, but it's worth the 14 euros PP for the ride.
Yuval K — Google review
Monte Solaro offers breathtaking panoramic views—you can see the entire island of Capri and beyond. Access is very easy via the chairlift, which is a lovely experience in itself, providing stunning views throughout the ride. Visiting Monte Solaro is highly recommended — a must-see spot for any Capri visitor.

Cable car to the top of Monte Solaro, one of the best views from the whole island of Capri the restaurant there has great bread and wine and food and a little walk to the edge. You can see the Capri arches , this is definitely a must visit place take your time to enjoy your stay there the food, the breeze, the view the service even the music they play
Daniel T — Google review
If you are in Naples, you should come here. Easy to find a public boat transfer from Sorrento.
Viktor M — Google review
It’s a very nice view. There’s not much to do in Capri and this is one of the things. There’s a little cafe at the top too.
Maddy A — Google review
I love the view. Very safe chairlift. It cost 14 euros per person. It takes 14 min to go up and 14 min to go down. U can take ur time at the top to enjoy the view and take pictures. U can try the restaurant overe there as well. By little bit expensive but logical. U can also have a walk down if you dlnt want to take the chair lift for the return. Enjoy your stay in capri
Kawtar B — Google review
Unforgettable experience at Monte Solaro! You reach the summit by a single-seat chairlift from Anacapri — the ride takes about 13 minutes each way, but it’s best to book in advance since lines can be long. The view from the top is absolutely breathtaking, a 360-degree panorama of the sea, Naples, and the island — truly one of the most beautiful sights imaginable. There’s a restaurant at the summit with amazing views, though quite expensive (we paid €7 for a cappuccino). Even the toilets cost €1 to enter, but honestly, the view alone makes it all worth it. A must-do experience on Capri!

The Faraglioni, a group of three majestic rock formations off the coast of Capri, offers a stunning and unique view for visitors. Boats pass through an arch formed by these iconic oceanic rocks, providing an unforgettable experience. The nearby botanic Gardens of Augustus offer breathtaking panoramic views that include the Faraglioni Islands emerging from the sea. From this vantage point, visitors can also access the Via Krupp, a historic twisted street leading to Marina Piccola.
This is truly the best of Amalfi Coast. A one hour island tour of Capri is just so mesmerising that you'd like to go back here again & again. Views of the coastline and the grottos are just great and the blue mediterranean water does the magic! Don't miss it for anything.

Sze T — Google review
you can visit it by boat, and pass through the arch, or just go to one panoramic point.
Anelisa C — Google review
Get a private boat tour with the local skipper-those guys are knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and very good guides if you want to explore areas around the island.
Jana — Google review
We saw this rock formation as part of our day trip by boat from Nerano. This tour depart Nerano to Capri where you spend 5 hours on Capri and before you depart, the boat goes around the island and through the archway made by this rock formation. The tour encouraged couples to kiss as we passed through the archway as it gives the couple a good luck wish. They teased it would lead to pregnancy. It's certainly a nice stop as part of a tour.

Canfora Capri Sandals is a renowned brand that has been creating handmade sandals since 1946. The store, located on Via delle Camerelle, has been frequented by numerous celebrities including Soraya, Margaret of England, Maria Callas and Grace Kelly. Known for its exquisite combination of durable soles and luxurious jewelry for the straps, Canfora's sandals have attracted fashion icons like Jackie Kennedy. The shop also offers made-to-measure sandals for those seeking a personalized fit.
Bought a pair of the obligatory Jackie Kennedy sandals. So beautiful!! Now I can channel my inner Jackie O all the way in Florida. Can't wait to visit again, definitely buying another pair. So nicely made with beautiful Italian craftsmanship.
N M — Google review
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! THE VERY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I have a few pairs of their sandals. One pair with stones that I have only worn a few times and it lost a stone. I notified them through Instagram and emails for over a year to just mail me a stone and I’ll get it repaired. I thought they would help me, sometimes I got answer about what they would do for me and then nothing. No answer, no replies, nothing. They just blow you off. These sandals are not cheap. You would think they would take care of a repeat customer or every customer. They do not give a crap.
Rebecca B — Google review
I had better service the night I bought $12 flip-flops from a Walgreens in Albuquerque. Canfora is an established, higher-end house, so I felt confident ordering from them when I needed sandals for a special occasion. My parcel was marked as shipped several weeks ago, but tracking shows that it has still not been accepted by the carrier: I’ve sent three messages to them about this but have yet to receive any response. Yesterday, I finally lost my patience and opened a dispute through PayPal. Please heed the other negative reviews and find someplace better than CON-fora to spend your money!
Mary R — Google review
I had a bad experience buying online but I have to say they did refund the sandals after a few emails. I hope mine was a bad one-off experience. Still, I’d recommend buy using PayPal and not credit card. Seems like they’ve had similar issues before. But I am thankful they refunded my order!

Very beautiful sandals, but also very expensive. Despite the price, the durability is temporary. After a few uses, the straps came off the sole. Shame.
Manuela G — Google review
The shoes are OK, but the service is pool when I bought the shoes. Today, when I went to the airport to get my tax refund, I found that they had written my passport number wrong. So I can't get tax refund

Villa Jovis, also known as Villa of Jupiter, is the remains of a lavish Roman palace constructed by Emperor Tiberius in AD 27 on a headland. The site offers stunning views and can be accessed by foot. According to historical accounts, the emperor indulged in luxury at this mountaintop villa, adorning it with explicit artwork and allegedly engaging in scandalous activities.
Visiting Villa Jovis was an unforgettable experience. The site is rich with history, and walking through the ruins where Emperor Tiberius once lived gives you a real sense of the ancient world. The views from the cliffs are absolutely breathtaking some of the most stunning panoramas you’ll see in Capri. It’s a bit of a hike to reach (about 40 minutes uphill from Capri town), so bring comfortable shoes and water, but it’s well worth the effort. The combination of history, atmosphere, and scenery makes Villa Jovis a must see for anyone visiting the island. Highly recommended if you love history, archaeology, or just want to enjoy some of the most beautiful views in Capri.
Euclides R — Google review
Visited October 2024. Approximately a one hour walk from Capri town the Villa is at the summit of Mount Tiberius - sounds daunting but not really. The path leading to the villa is paved/tarmac/concrete and is wheelchair (wheel) friendly. Having said that this is a two-thousand year old site, wheels would be very difficult once inside. A wonderful piece of history with a modest entrance fee and a relaxed atmosphere once inside. Restored in places but most of the structure looks authentically old. With panoramic views of The Bay of Naples including a fantastic view of Sorrento, if you make the effort you will be rewarded when you get there.
P B — Google review
A must visit for anyone going to Capri and interested in history. The ruins are not well preserved but still worth seeing and walking through. The walk from the port is not for the weak, particularly during the summer heat. Be prepared for equivalent of about 102 flights of stairs (per my garmin watch) to get there. Along the way, many grocers and shops to stop and get a refreshment to stay cool on the way up and dozens of places for lunch in the way down. Tip, don’t go to the places in busy touristy areas. Find a spot all by itself, there are many.
Sergio B — Google review
An large villa with a really interesting history. Read up on Tiberio Augusto before you visit and then let those stories come to life! Entrance is a reasonable price and the park next to it with the cliff top path is amazing. And ad its Capri through views are stunning.
Ben M — Google review
Get ready for quite the trek. A lot of stairs up and up hill walking. The history of this place interesting and the views were amazing, but I definitely would never do it again!
Natalie S — Google review
Ugo made this visit more than we could possibly have anticipated. Thanks Ugo! We happened to arrive in time for his post lunch tour of the grounds and we learned a great deal. His info and insight into the location and island were a genuine highlight of the trip to Capri. The villa itself is a surprisingly huge complex, with a major water collection system, strangely topped by a catholic chapel built above it before they realised Emperor Tiberius' palatial villa was underneath. Amazing views also from the chapel and the park next door where we saw goats for the only time on the 3 day visit. It's an uphill trek and there's a great 20min forest short cut across to Villa Lysis which is worth seeing in combination with Villa Jovis but bring a packed lunch or allow enough time. The gardens, houses and sleeping cats along the way made this an even better excursion. I started this review at 4 stars for Villa Jovis but the whole trip was 5 stars.
Josic C — Google review
Absolutely stunning views from Villa Jovis. The ruins themselves are interesting as well, but the five star views are the real reason to make the trek. There is another small park about 100m before the entry to Villa Jovis, which is worth a look as well. We stayed at Hotel Marmela and it was about a 35 minute walk along paved walkways and a few flights of stairs. The walkways are beautiful and very quiet before 1030 am. After that, you will start seeing the day tours. We were there at 1015 and were the only people at the Villa. 6 Euro entry fee and there are toilets at the site.
Patrick C — Google review
Worth the hike but be aware it is demanding with some steep segments to get there. The views are worth the hike. 6 euro entrance. Once inside you can walk around the site and take your photos. We did Villa Jovis first as soon as we got to Capri and then Natural Arch.

Perfume store
Carthusia is a renowned perfume brand with two stores and a factory in Capri. The fragrance was first created by monks in 1380 using local herbs and blossoms, and the name 'Carthusia' means cloister in Latin. The limited production and handmade methods used by the Carthusian monks are still practiced today. Since 1948, Carthusia has been producing fragrances that capture the essence of Capri, using artisanal methods and elements from nature.
Unforgettable experience. Truly loved this place for the creativity and the brilliant craftsmanship of the perfumes and the interior. The perfumes and lotions give you the perfect sense of Capri I Will definitely come back whenever I’m in Capri again.

Loved this shop. I bought a couple of hand lotions and they smell wonderful. Great place to buy gifts. Wish I would have taken better pictures of it but I was too busy shopping. Great spots to sit and relax outside the shop too for those individuals who need to wait on others to shop.

Amazing simple natural aromas, the place is beautiful and the shop attendant was very kindly and helpful. Bought the perfume Io Capri. The aroma of this perfume remember me the smells of my childhood between the fig trees in village. I also loved the smell of Coral aroma, but this is very strong and dry.

Staff was amazing! So helpful in allowing my wife and daughter-in-law to pick out some fragrances. We tried nearly everything in the shop and they were so patient and gracious. We were impressed with the variety and uniqueness of the fragrances. We left with two different ones and we are so happy and excited to have them!
Brandon R — Google review
Very unpleasant customer service ! I just bought a perfume from here but they packed a wrong perfume for me. I realised it when i already left Capri. I tried to change it or get refund on another Carthusia market but they didn't had it and told me to go back to the store i boght it to get my refund. 1 day later and 10€ on transport , i was hit with " no refund possible" . Where are the custormers rights, i got the receipt and intact sealing but they refused. "We are not in US" they told me. No , we are in Europe, where there is a 14 day return/refund right for custormers, that they don't give a s on, and still this was their fault they packed a wrong perfume for me. Very disappointed, i felt that I was arguing like in a 3rd world country with them.

We had the sweetest lady from L. showing us all the perfumes and trying to find the perfect match to our taste. Extremely professional, patient and friendly. We both 2 perfumes which she rapped beautifully and told us a bit about the store. It’s the first and oldest one. Definitely go and visit it even if you are not planning to buy anything!!
Velimira — Google review
Legend has it that in 1380 the father prior of the Carthusian Monastery of St. Giacomo was taken unaware by the news of the arrival in Capri of Queen Giovanna d’Angiò and so made a flower arrangement with the most beautiful flowers of the island. The water was not changed for three days and, when the flowers were thrown away, the prior noticed that the water had acquired a fragrance unknown to him. He went to the father alchemist who traced the origin of this scent back to the “Garofilum silvestre caprese”. That water became the first perfume of Capri. History, on the other hand, relates that in 1948 the prior of the Monastery discovered the old formulas of the perfumes and, with by permission from the Pope, revealed them to a chemist from Turin, who created the smallest laboratory in the world and called it “Carthusia”, i.e. Certosa. The tradition is now being continued and the limited production means being able to use the same methods as the Carthusian monks. All the preparations are made from genuine products of high quality and even the end product is handwrapped. The essence derived from rosemary picked on Monte Solaro is used in men’s products, while the essence of the Capri wild carnation is used in women’s fragrances.

Amazing little store on Capri. You walk in and are blasted with beautiful scents of parfums and soaps. I myself purchased a men’s perfume smelling like green tea and lemon and it smelled amazing. I also purchased some exquisite soaps. The packaging for everything was delicate and beautifully wrapped. Additionally, the staff were helpful and highly competent.

Certosa San Giacomo Capri is a 14th-century Carthusian monastery known for its diverse architecture, frescoes, and stunning views of the sea. The monumental complex features impressive cross, barrel, and coffered vaults that are typical of the island's architecture. It is situated near the Augustus Gardens, offering a classic view of the Faraglioni rocks.
Stunning venue for art and example of 14th century Caprese architecture. The building has a storied past with faded frescos and long, empty hallways. It has a mysterious air with mildly overgrown areas and clean, but empty rooms with amazing views of the sea. The art exhibition is like nothing I've ever seen with the natural lighting highlighting the oil paintings which were already expressive and dramatic. Off season, it was €6 for two people (cash only), and fully worth the quiet, off-the-beaten path exploration.

Fantastic art and history museum carefully placed within a former monestary. The art is well-curated, and the monstary building is unique and beautiful. The history exhibit features artifacts of the Roman Imperial family related to their residence on Capri, which also includes a number of statues, busts, and other art. There is a stunning seaside view in a balcony on this part of the museum.

Enjoyed the quiet serenity in this mostly empty rooms, long halls and courtyards. Church has some interesting frescoes. Also there is a museum (didn’t go) and gallery. Also great bathrooms!

The Certosa San Giacomo is a beautiful and peaceful spot in Capri, full of history and charm. The monastery dates back centuries, and walking through its courtyards, cloisters, and halls gives a real sense of the island’s past. The architecture is striking, and the grounds are well maintained, making it a relaxing place to explore away from the busier areas of Capri. There was no wait to enter when we visited, and tickets did not need to be booked in advance, which made it easy and stress free. From here, you also get some great views of the sea and surrounding landscape. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re interested in history, architecture, or just want a quiet and beautiful escape in Capri.

Bought an under 18 ticket on their website for me on a school trip for a solo visit. And it was free!! Was able to buy the tickets before our trip, and received an email with the online ticket and qr code. Update today I visited the museum/monument and it was AMAZING. It was so big and the inner garden and outer garden was so pretty. And the religous paintings were very interesting and very big! I also spotted a cat sleeping in the grass. WORTH VISITING. And it is located just beyond the street of designer shops.

I'm a little surprised about the bad reviews. I was totally stunned by the historic location, huge halls, stunning paintings and the museums exhibiting antique art. Definitely a must-see and offering a lot!

Empty halls, empty rooms, overgrown gardens. Where is all interior? Does anybody take care of this place? There is a nice view from the terrace, but still - nothing that much better than the thousands other terraces around the island. Leaving a star for the Diefenbach gallery and the (partially) preserved church.

Wonderful staff, who were very helpful and informative with the design history of the watches. I'll definitely be buying another watch next time I visit Capri.

Very disappointed with CapriWatch. My first Capri Watch was purchased and it caused me issue’s the very same day. I took it back the next day and was told it had to go back to Capri for repairs. I simply wanted to return it and upgrade to a different watch which after quite a bit of back and forth, my request was finally agreed upon. They were certainly not interested in entertaining this argument at first. Terrible service. This second watch lasted three years and has just stopped. Cost is too high for repairs to be made in Australia. Still in warranty but too much messing around to send from Australia back to Italy. Overall, not a good experience for me.

Catastrophic visit. The owner of the brand Alba laughed at my sports watch which costs even more than the capri watches and even told me to shut up. As an owner of the brand you have to be humble and nice. This was our last purchase and we do not recommend this brand.

I was so excited to purchase a Multi joy watch when visiting Capri last year 2019. Love its stunning looks and 2 of my friends went to buy one too. Just 1 year later, the winder fell off and I made contact with them. Warranty confirmed.. return the watch by my expense mark on the export docs that it is a plastic watch for repair of no value. So I pay, thats fine, if it goes missing I cant claim as I've said it isn't worth anything! I therefore asked if they could send me the part and I will take it to repair locally. Not possible is the response. Totally not happy!

Each time we have been to Capri we have visited the watch shop. We originally bought my partners watch 5 years ago and have had fantastic service when we have needed new glass/battery or straps. I bought my watch 3 years ago and again, amazing service by the shop. Will visit again when it's time to buy my son a watch!

Don't buy here or risk to loose your money! We bought online a pair of their new shoes and they managed to send the wrong size even though we clarified they were making a mistake in advance. They requested we sent back the merchandise and we did to our own additional expense. After receiving the returned material they simply ignored us and never bother to refund us for their mistake. We had to go back to the credit company and make a formal complaint. These people are simply vulgar thieves online.

Giardini di Augusto, also known as the Gardens of Augustus, is a picturesque botanical garden located in Capri. The garden offers sweeping views of the sea and the village of Marina Piccola below. It features a footpath that leads to the village and provides a classic view of the Faraglioni rock formations.
No queue to entry, tickets can be purchased at a vending machine right outside (no cash accepted). The only wait i had to do is to take pictures at the watch points. The garden is not so big, but the view is breathtaking. 😄 Right next to the garden you will find the roof top bar which has excellent cocktails next to the same mesmerising view.
Hilda P — Google review
The gardens of Augustus is a beautiful mountaintop garden which has a few statues and benches but it's main selling point is the view at the top. If you are on a tour and don't have much time I would recommend, as it's easy enough to get to and is a stunning "Instagram worthy" spot. Of course you have to pay to get in which you can do via a QR code or buying tickets. You can pay in your own currency on the app, which I thought was cool. I think £4 for a tiny garden with a view is milking it though, I think it should be done on a donation basis. You'll have people everywhere posing at every which angle so find a few good spots, take some snaps and get out of there!
JB R — Google review
€2.50 per person for entry and not sure its worth it. It is essentially 10m2 of grass with some flowers, several view points towards the faraglioni and a couple more on the other side towards the Via Krupp. Some good views of the faraglioni rocks but lots of people in the way taking photos of course. The views are just as good at the roof terrace next door and you can have a drink whilst enjoying the view! Win win
B M — Google review
Beautiful views and definitely worth a visit to get some memorable pictures. Lots of places to sit and relax but you’re not allowed to eat there. Entry was €2.5 and definitely worth the views.
Tina S — Google review
Nice and well maintained gardens. Entrance fee of €2,50 a person. Plenty of scenic viewpoints. Make sure to arrive as early as possible to prevent having to navigate the tourist groups that start arriving as early as of 09:30. They open at 09:00, and since it’s a small garden between 09:00 and 09:30 is a very nice window to see it all in all tranquility.(excluding the via Krupp)
Evan — Google review
Lovely gardens atop of Capri full of colorful flower beds running along narrow paths, shady trees and statues - a peaceful oasis with gorgeous views. The small entry fee is certainly worth it, there is a vending machine inside selling cold bottled water for 1€. From there you can take the switch back path down to Marina Piccola, it took us about 30 minutes.
FLnurseER1 — Google review
After our ferry ride, we made our way to the Garden of Augustus. The views were truly magnificent, and the serene atmosphere made for a perfect escape. The vibrant colors of the flowers against the deep blue of the sea were a sight to behold. However, the experience was slightly marred by the cost of entry. It felt like a bit of a rip-off to pay €2.50 per person for such a small area. What was even more frustrating was the price of water. Having to shell out €2.50 for a tiny 300ml bottle felt like pure exploitation, especially on a hot day. It's a shame that a place of such natural beauty has to resort to such practices to squeeze every penny out of its visitors.
Pavan N — Google review
Lovely little garden in an amazing location. The statues and plants are very nice, and the grounds are very well maintained. The really impressive aspect is the surrounding architecture, particularly the switchback ramp leading all 100+ meters down to the sea.

Another day, another gelato! We stopped at Buonocore Gelateria during our Perillo tour, and it was fantastic. On a hot day, it was the perfect time for a refreshing treat. I went with a friend's recommendation and tried the nocciola, paired with pistachio—and it was insanely good. Best of all, it was served on a freshly made cone, which made it even more delicious.

Our tour guide recommended this restaurant in Capri. The view is beautiful by the beach, family friendly, romantic. The food is very good. I am very pleased with all that i ordered. The staff and owner are friendly and welcoming. My child had fish and chips, the fish is so good. The seafood linguine is the bomb.

I ordered a seafood pasta and had to wait 28 minutes, even though the restaurant was not busy. While waiting, I finished my coffee and oysters. Since my ferry was leaving in 10 minutes, I asked for the bill and the pasta to go. I paid €58 and then waited another 5 minutes for them to pack it. When I finally opened it on the ferry, I was shocked: it was half a portion of plain pasta, without any seafood at all. The dish I ordered was simply not there. On top of that, the staff behaved arrogantly, which made the whole experience even worse. What a disgrace for such a restaurant. Very disappointing!

Probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and make Gemma and the beach club a stop on your next visit to Capri. Oh, and it’s located steps from the Marina and Port, no taxi or bus needed. I’ll most certainly be back.

The Church San Michele, located in the heart of Anacapri at the foot of Mount Solaro, is a historic structure with ties to a convent. The church features an ornate 1700s floor adorned with colorful maiolica tiles. The surrounding area includes a lovely internal courtyard and a loggia that once connected the church to the convent.
Most magical moving experience visiting this magnificent piece of history. It took my breath away. I was fortunate to be in the Church alone and was delighted to learn about the history of the Church and Saint Michele. It is a very special institution and the lady at the reception is lovely. She was very informative and from what I understand Saint Michele killed the devil. The floors actually took 30 years to complete and the Church is from the 17th Century. Please don’t miss this. 2e entrance.

For 2 euro you can see something so unique and beautiful it actually feels like a daylight robbery. It's a small church, however the painting on the tiles on the floor which covers the whole church is amazing. You can see it in detail from the ground level and also go up to see the whole picture. There was also a cute small bird nest next to the window on the upper floor. I definitely recommend seeing it in Anacapri.

Natural Arch is a stunning arch-shaped rock formation from the Paleolithic age that overlooks the sea and can be accessed by a trail. It is located on the east coast of Capri, offering outstanding views of the impossibly blue sea.
Walking there was quite tough, but to make it easier I suggest to reach the place from Via Matermània. In this way you'll walk down many steps, which is better than climbing them. All the rest of the path (Pizzo Luongo) will be fine to walk through. The view is stunning and you will have the occasion to see the beautiful Casa Malaparte from above.

Yes, this is a superb spot on Capri, and you shouldn't miss this! To reach it from the port, you cat take the funicular, for 2.4 € and then to take a short and easy walk. This are the beauties of the nature and we should enjoy but also protect and preserve them, so please don't leave any rubbish behind.

Worth the 20-30 minute walk. We arrived earlier in day so very few people and so we could sit and take in the view. A cute walk to get to it, too. Returning to Capri though there were hoards of people headed to the arch which would make it not as enjoyable (for me, anyway!).

There are only a few signages to get there, best download an offline map. This one is also the nearest viewpoint amongst all. Takes about 20~30 minutes from the center of the town.

Belvedere Tragara is one of Capri’s most stunning viewpoints, offering a panoramic vista of the iconic Faraglioni rock formations and the deep blue Tyrrhenian Sea. Located at the end of a picturesque walkway lined with elegant villas and lush greenery, it exudes timeless charm. A peaceful spot away from the crowds, perfect for photography or quiet reflection. A must-visit for anyone exploring Capri’s natural beauty.

Magical views - must stop by when in Capri - just before the stairs to the beach clubs

Beautiful,Amazing, very high up,but well worth it! The scenery, looking down to the azure blue water...boat look so tiny! I think a few feet more up,you'd be touching outer space!!

Really breathtaking views!!! Don't miss this magical place!!!! There are benches for rest. About 30 minutes walk from the port or 15 minutes from the center.

Definitely worth the walk over here once you're in Capri Town. Even in high season (but early in the day) it was a beautiful walk and not too crowded. Amazing views of Marina Piccola and Faraglioni.
Neil S — Google review
Definitely worth a visit. There is a reasonably well marked path from the centre of Capri to the Belvedere Tragara and then you can also choose to walk onwards to the Arco Naturale before heading back to town. The whole walk incl. the Arco took us around 1.5h with a lunch break.
Franziska S — Google review
Lovely walk through the nicer part of town, down a flat and easily managed walkway. Several views and photo opportunities of the beautiful scenery as you go, no need to rush here..... but when you do get here.... wow.

Capri Philosophical Park is a serene and rustic park located near Anacapri, offering wooded trails adorned with ceramic plaques featuring aphorisms by renowned philosophers. The park consists of three paths dedicated to different philosophical themes: Idealism, Realism, and Wisdom. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk along the Via Migliera, taking in the picturesque Capri countryside and magnificent views from Belvedere della Migliara.
If you go to Anacapri you really need to stop here. A "hidden" gem. Such a nice and quiet park. The moss and trees everywhere make you feel tucked away. Reading all the philosophical quotes along the trail being much needed introspection.
Devan B — Google review
Accidentally stumbled across this charming little park while at a wedding. There must be a hundred little plaques with all sorts of philosophical quotes. We got to watch the sun disappear behind the horizon from a bench at the top of the park. If you happen to be in the area, I highly recommend you take a quick detour through the park.
Josh B — Google review
Very nice view of the lighthouse and surrounding scenery.
Elijah S — Google review
This park is a quiet escape from the hordes of tourists on Capri. Take the walk - about 45min to the edge of the island. The Philosophical park is interesting - but the real gem lies about 100 meters from there to the absolutely breath-taking view of the bay at the end of the island. The serenity is worth the walk. There is a restaurant just across from the Philosophical park. It is convenient - but the food was only so-so - but acceptable if not a tad bit expensive - perhaps it is hard to get to? Again - a beautiful view from there.

What a delight! A big thank you to owners of this place. I passed the park on my hike and was amazed by it- a very clever and generous use of private land to give people food for thought. Gelsomina restaurant across the road has the best kitchen on the island and not overpriced like many others. Overall I am very happy I stumbled upon this gem of a place!
Yulia P — Google review
Visit it when the sun kisses the sea at sunset. Peace and quiet place. Only the cicadas invite the seagulls and the sea! A magical place where you can't ask yourself philosophical questions!

Punta Carena Lighthouse, located at the southwestern tip of Capri, is a renowned landmark overseeing the Tyrrhenian Sea. The lighthouse, built in 1866, stands tall on cliffs and offers breathtaking views of the sea. Visitors can enjoy sunset views and watch boats passing by from this picturesque spot. Additionally, there's a beach restaurant called Il Faro where guests can savor cocktails and tapas while taking in the natural beauty of the bay.
Beautiful spot. Empty when we were there but early in the season and still too cold for swimming. Took bus from Anacapri - easy, every 20 minutes.
Tom K — Google review
The soul of Capri at sunset There are lighthouses — and then there’s Punta Carena. Rising boldly from the cliffs of Anacapri, its red façade glowing against the Mediterranean blues, this spot is pure cinematic magic. Whether you arrive by land or sail past by boat, it catches your eye — and your breath. The view is iconic, especially at sunset, when the sky ignites and the sea turns gold. It’s not just beautiful — it’s emotionally moving. You feel like you’ve stumbled into a postcard that’s alive. The surrounding area is rugged and raw, yet welcoming, with sunbathers on the rocks and locals diving into crystalline waters. An unforgettable stop on any Capri itinerary. Bring your camera, your swimsuit — and if you can, stay for the sunset. You’ll carry it with you long after you’ve left.
SUR E — Google review
It's a beautiful spot that's conveniently located just a short bus ride from Anacapri. You'll find restaurants if you want to grab a bite, and there are good areas for swimming. A pleasant place to spend some time.
Alex K — Google review
Beautiful lighthouse in Capri. From here we can see a beautiful sunset. Head down near the water where you will find 2 snack bars. There is also a viewpoint nearby.
Fábio S — Google review
If you’ve ever wondered where Poseidon might retire, it’s probably here. The Punta Carena Lighthouse looks like it came straight out of a “Dramatic Isolation” travel brochure. Towering red-and-white, built in 1866, it’s said to be one of Italy’s most important lighthouses. These days it’s more of a photogenic icon where people come to look mysteriously windswept. We saw it from a boat – perched on the cliff like a grumpy old man who's seen too much sea. A few sunbathers around, sheer rocks straight out of a spaghetti western – you half expect Morricone’s music to start playing. If you're cruising by, raise your eyes, snap a pic, and let the lighthouse (and the sun) dazzle you. :)
Michael N — Google review
Beauty on earth. This place took my heart. Felt like all the troubles of the world felt so small while standing on the edge and watching the horizon. Nothing but clear blue sky and the waves hitting the cliffs. There are restaurants and places to chill nearby where you can go to refresh yourself with local cuisines and beverages. Taking a dip in the clean blue ocean never felt this good 💛
Yamini K — Google review
Good place for seeing the sunset. Nice swimming possibility. Gets deep right away, you can use the stairs to get in or just jump. Water shoes are recommended. Some people did cliff diving as well. There’s also a nice restaurant to watch the sunset from.

The Faraglioni, a set of three iconic rock formations off the southeast coast of Capri, are renowned worldwide and have been featured in Dolce & Gabbana ads. Each has its own name: Faraglione di Terra is connected to the mainland, Mezzo stands separated with a natural arch, and Furthest away is Faraglione di Fuori, known as the sole habitat of the blue lizard.
100% recommend! It is best to rent a boat with a private skipper. They are vert knowledgeable and experienced. We spent 250€ for a 2 hour tour, we were able to swim in some caves and see the whole island.

Faraglioni are the famous rocky stacks off the coast of Capri, known to everyone from photos or Top Gear. One of these rocks even looks like a frozen King Kong trying to escape – so if you’re in the mood for a natural “King Kong,” you’ll find it here! These natural skyscrapers were formed millions of years ago by sea and wind erosion and are a true icon of Capri. Whether you arrive by boat, car, or camera in hand, it’s an experience worth having! :)

Something you will never forget! Famously seen on many tv commercials, the views of these cliffs are some of the most beautiful in the world! If you get the chance, rent a boat and try to see them up close. You won't regret it!

It's pretty epic and wild riding a boat to this Iconic Capri Arch and.. snorkeling near this area. There's a different world deep down there, sea caves and beautiful fish. Water is crystal blue clear, cool but not cold just right temperature for summer. The wave is insane though.

Capri is an amazing isle to visit, We definitely recommend to leave some time for it if you stay in Sorrento. The trip with the boat it quite interesting and you will have a chance to swim in the Capri’s colourful Tyrrhenian Sea.

Capri is an absolutely breathtaking destination that feels like a slice of paradise! The island's stunning cliffs and crystal-clear waters create a picture-perfect backdrop for anyone looking to escape into natural beauty. Exploring the charming streets of Capri Town and Anacapri is a delight, with plenty of quaint shops, cafes, and vibrant flowers adorning the pathways. The food is exceptional, featuring fresh seafood and traditional Italian dishes that you can enjoy while soaking in the spectacular views. Visiting the famous Blue Grotto is a must—gliding through the shimmering waters is a magical experience you won’t forget. Whether you’re hiking to Via Krupp, lounging at one of the beach clubs, or simply sipping a limoncello while taking in the scenery, Capri offers an unforgettable blend of relaxation and adventure. It's definitely a must-visit for anyone traveling to Italy!

A liquor store in Capri, Limoncello Di Capri, claims to have originated the drink. It is said that the drink was spurred to world fame by business done in the store by sandals. The service was great and the girls were very nice.
Cute little store, warm staff, warm sunshine, there is nothing more pleasant than coming here!

I purchased $175.00 worth of merchandise and paid to have them shipped to my home in the US. I have not received my items, contacted them and still no merchandise. I have contacted Perillo Tours who we traveled with and took our group to this location. I will never order from them again. No one will respond.

Had sandals done in the Limoncello shop in Capri, new business for them i think, however if you are looking for hand made sandals do not look anywhere else, the service was great and the girls very nice. Have not had a chance to wear my sandals yet, blame for it the British weather, they look good in my wardrobe at least :-)

Service was awful. The drink guy was kindly asked to give us menu, but he refused to do that telling that we can ask everything what we want. We wanted menu. He left us without menu impolitely. We asked of the coffee espresso, they told us after 2pm dont serve it.

Hotel
Hotel Punta Tragara is a luxurious villa property located on the southern outskirts of Capri, offering breathtaking views of Faraglioni and the sea. The hotel features 44 refined rooms with amenities such as minibars, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and marble bathrooms with Ortigia bath products. Guests can enjoy an extensive buffet breakfast overlooking the sea and savor typical Capri and Neapolitan dishes at the Monzu restaurant with its panoramic outdoor terrace.
We stayed at the hotel Punta Tragara mid July 2025 and it was an amazingly beautiful property. We had the most breathtaking view from our Deluxe sea-view room. Every morning we had complementary breakfast overlooking Capri with views of the Blue Grotto area as well. They have a Michelin star restaurant, Le Monzu, which I highly recommend and the lunch restaurant near the pool has excellent food as well. The staff were so accommodating and everything was top-notch and luxurious. If I ever went back to Capri, I would stay here again without a doubt. You cannot beat the view and the property is just gorgeous!
Kelly J — Google review
One of our favorite hotels on the planet! Absolutely incredible from the views to the staff. The entire hotel was spotless from head to toe. The rooms were well appointed and everything worked as it should with the best views! Staff was super friendly and helpful and the location is quiet and charming being right next to a great walking path with more awesome views! Truly an awesome place to stay!
Shay T — Google review
Hotel Punta Tragara, Capri blends design heritage with understated chic of capri. While the rooms can feel on the smaller side; a nod to the property’s historic architecture as they retain an undeniable charm and sense of place. The real showstopper, however, is the pool area, which is nothing short of stunning: elegant terraces and crystalline water set against some of Capri’s most breathtaking views. A boutique stay that’s as much about atmosphere and vistas as it is about the stay. Ps. Best Olives ever at pool bar 🫒💚🤍❤️
Anton S — Google review
This is truly a 5 star resort! From arrival, to the room, the amenities and the attention to detail. We could not recommend this hotel more highly. The only negative, for those with mobility issues, is the hotel is an @ 10 to 15 minute walk from the town and there is no transportation from town to get you directly to the hotel, even on arrival (though the resort did take care of the luggage). I would recommend staying here if going to Capri!!
Jimma L — Google review
Firstly, let me start by explaining that you must walk 20 minutes from the center of town to arrive at this hotel. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this “luxury” hotel room was such a disappointment I feel compelled to warn others. The photos online promised light-filled, stylish accommodations – what I walked into looked nothing like that. The room was dark, and dingy, outdated furniture that looked like it hadn’t been replaced. The lighting was so poor letting in virtually no natural light. We were brought to our room and within 10 minutes of being in the room called the front desk to let them know that the room was unacceptable and not as described. The woman said “is it because it’s too dark?” I told her the room was dark and dingy. There was a small pain window, even though this was supposed to be an ocean suite. She told me this was the last room. They had no under their abilities until our final day where they could locate the same room in a different area of the hotel. The room was not as advertised. not a luxury hotel a dark dingy room with barely a view and not somewhere I would personally want to stay in Capri for $2800 per night. We spoke with the manager who was unaccommodating and let us know He would not be refunding us, even though we would not be staying at the hotel and immediately checking out. he offered no solution. The biggest insult is the bait-and-switch advertising that bear no resemblance to reality. If you’re looking for comfort, style, or anything remotely close to luxury, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. This hotel trades on false promises and delivers a dark, dreary nightmare. What a welcome to Capri.
LA E — Google review
Had a great stay at Punta Tragara, the hotel is an iconic property on Capri, just hanging at the top of the cliff overlooking the Faraglioni and the marina piccola bay. It is a little walk from the piazzetta, however once you're settled in, the walk is part of the experience, the via tragara is caprese charm on its own. The whole team was lovely, from the lady running breakfast, to the servers at Le Monzu, a special thanks to Antonio at front desk who gave very special recommendations. The website is transparent about the views one can expect on each category and you will need to book a special suite for a guaranteed view on the Faraglioni, my room still had a lovely sea view, between the faraglioni and the marina piccola bay, the only negative was it lacked a little privacy as tourists in the belvedere were quite close, and it also lacked some soundproofing with the floor above.
Sebastien D — Google review
The best hotel in Capri. Stunning views on the Faraglioni. The pool lounge staff is exceptional, rooms are very nicely decorated and different from all the other hotels. Monzu restaurant is good and with an excellent service. The gym is a bit small but very clean and with good Tecnogym equipment
Valentina H — Google review
Everything was amazing in Punta Tragara. The concierge managed to get us tables in every restaurant we requested. Room view was stunning and service was on another level. The only issue is you have to walk around 1KM (15M) to get to the city or road and there isn’t any other way.

Capri Relax Boats offers a personalized and hassle-free experience, with a communicative team that ensures a smooth booking process. The 2-hour tour around the island provides ample time to explore Capri's stunning coastline, guided by experienced skippers like Stefano. Guests can enjoy stops for swimming in the refreshing waters of the Mediterranean at picturesque spots such as Green Grotto. The boats are well-maintained and equipped with amenities like beverages and towels for added comfort.
My wife and I really enjoyed our private Capri island tour with Capri Relax Boats. The booking process was easy. The value of this tour seems significantly better than average compared with others I compared online. We booked the "Tour of the Isle of Capri by Private Gozzo Boat" and chose a 3 hour tour (there are many options) after reading reviews. After stopping first at the office at the port of Capri, we were taken to meet up with our skipper at the dock. He made us feel comfortable on the boat and was very skilled- and fun to talk to :) The tour was what we wanted. We saw all the famous sights around the island at a leisurely pace. We skipped the Blue Grotto, because we had done that before (and it wasn't that much better to make it worth it to us)- and this gave us more time at all the other locations. I enjoyed swimming a few times and we had a fantastic time. I highly recommend Capri Relax Boats :)

Myself and my wife Rebecca had the best day of our honeymoon on a private boat hire with this company. We booked the traditional style boat and it was perfect. This was the highlight of our trip! I compared many companies online and read the reviews. All other companies only offered a group tour with complete strangers and it was 250Euros and higher. for 2 hours. Private Boats were at 400 Euros. When I came across CaproRelaxBoats... the prices were mich favorable. I paid 190Euros for 3Hours!!!!!! And the Boat was all for my wife and I. We didnt have to share with anyone. 3 hours was more than enough to go around the island and the had time for swimming and the Blue Grotto! I highly recommend CapriRelaxBoats and ask for Giuseppe! He is the best Captain!

Highly recommend Capri Relax Boats! Our driver, Ivan, was amazing. He was super nice, professional, and very knowledgeable about the island. He explained about the history of Capri and all of the different grottos. We did a 3 hour tour around the island and had time to swim in two different spots. The boat was extremely nice, clean, and comfortable. It was so relaxing. They also have a freshwater hose to use if you want to wash the salt off of you. I had many questions prior to our trip and the staff was very responsive and helpful. Overall incredible experience and would book with them again! Really great people too!
