Palazzo Ricchieri in Pordenone dates back to the 13th century and was originally a defensive tower house. It later became the residence of the noble Ricchieri family under Venetian rule. Today, it houses the Civic Art Museum, showcasing wooden sculptures and original works by Pordenone. The elegant Gothic facade and well-preserved interior offer visitors a glimpse into history.
Some lovely Venetian buildings and architecture, with fresco paintings on the outside of the buildings that line the streets. Some caffes and restaurants nearby.

Good despite illegal van parking in front of the building😅
M D — Google review
It's a small town but very fancy and clean, well preserved and taken care of, with friendly people. It takes you in a medieval atmosphere. Everything seemed to me to be Venetian-like styled. But this is because the whole region is mutually influenced and influencing with regard to architecture, culture, habits and so on. Palazzo Riccchieri looks good on the outside, it's been rehabilitated in a manner I really like, because it shows portions of the old coating coming out through the new coating of the walls. This happens to all old and rehabilitated buildings in Pordenone. Unfortunately I did not have the occasion to get inside, as it was late when we arrived there.

The Silvia Zenari Civic Museum of Natural History, located next to the Town Hall in Pordenone, is housed in the historic Palazzo Ricchieri. The museum features well-curated displays and a clean, tidy environment that is perfect for a leisurely visit of about 1.5 hours. Visitors appreciate the accessibility of exhibits for children and the ongoing addition of new specimens. The staff is known for their warm hospitality and willingness to share intriguing anecdotes about the museum's history and collections.
Small and cheap natural history museum. We spent a lot of time in the mineral and bug rooms and we were in the museum for about an hour. The exhibits are only presented in Italian but google translate handled it well.
Hayleigh — Google review
You will be captured by perfect taxidermy of beatles and birds. Very kind personal.
Reza K — Google review
Great museum, which has well thought out displays presented in a beautiful manner. The facilities are neat, tidy, and very clean. It's also a perfect size. It's not too big, and not too small. Allow about 1.5 hours to see everything properly. It was a great experience, particularly on a wet cold day!
Jay M — Google review
Outstanding museum for a city as small as Pordenone! Staff is very welcoming and helpful. If you ask they'll tell you interesting anecdotes about the history of the museum and its exhibits.
Max M — Google review
Wonderful place where you can learn a lot !
ROTH C — Google review
Especially wonderful for small children as the glass shelves start from floor level and most of the taxidermy animals are on the floor without a fence around them. Lots of specimen and I have kept coming over the years as there is always something new to be found.

The Castle of Torre, dating back to the Middle Ages and built on the grounds of a Roman villa complex, boasts a rich history. The oldest section is a sturdy square tower believed to have been constructed in the latter half of the 13th century. Originally managed by the lords of Prata, this 12th-century castle was erected by the royal Ragogna family. Despite its historical significance, it remains relatively undiscovered by tourists.
Great view. A nice place to enjoy sunrise or sunset
Shakil H — Google review
A very nice small palace that has been turned into an archeology museum of the greater surrounding area. You can learn about human progress in northern Italy while enjoying the architecture and some remaining features of the old palace. For three euros it's well worth the trip and the garden is quite nice.

(Translated by Google) Torre di PN castle used as a museum, very well kept. Beautiful finds, all from the area, the necropolis and the frescoes are beautiful. There should be a little more publicity, it really deserves it. (Original) Castello di Torre di PN adibito a museo, tenuto molto bene. Bei reperti, tutti della zona, bellissima la necropoli e gli affreschi. Si dovrebbe fare un po' più di pubblicità, merita davvero.

(Translated by Google) Truly very interesting and cultural regional archaeological museum, very well curated exhibition and with detailed information but not too long to read. There are archaeological finds from the Paleolithic to the Roman ones, up to the Renaissance. The Torre castle is also beautiful, with its various historical construction periods. An afternoon pleasantly spent. I highly recommend it.

(Translated by Google) The park is very pretty and well-maintained. We visited on a Sunday in early January, when it was very cold and foggy, and the atmosphere was very evocative. The opening hours probably don't refer to the castle itself, as contrary to what's listed here, it was closed.

Pordenone Fiere S.p.A. is a versatile exhibition center that offers a wide array of local and international products, including flowers, trees, teas, and various other items. The venue hosts well-planned exhibitions such as the Spring garden show and the Craft Hobby Show, providing ample eating facilities and showcasing numerous companies. Its convenient location near the city center and railway station makes it easily accessible for visitors. With spacious pavilions and parking areas, it provides a seamless experience for attendees.
SICAM always a must. Fast entrance service, very well organised with online reservation. Good parking situation and the fair itself is always worth visiting
Karl M — Google review
This year I found the fair less exciting than previous years. It seemed to have a lot less vendors and a lot less variety. I was very upset that some vendors in the food area were very rude. One assumed my friend did not understand Italian because she and I were speaking English and when she declined a sample he said very insulting things about her to his fellow vendor in Italian which we both understood. Hard to enjoy the rest of our visit after such a thing.

Excellent fiere with many different exibitors.
Martina M — Google review
I recently visited the Exhibition and Trade Centre for an event, and while my overall experience was decent, there were a few aspects that left me somewhat underwhelmed. Firstly, the venue itself is quite spacious and reasonably well-maintained. The areas are clean and organized, providing ample room for exhibitors and attendees to navigate. The layout is easy to follow, and signage was generally sufficient. However, I did find some areas to be lacking in terms of resting spaces, which made it challenging to take a break or relax during the event. The amenities such as restrooms were adequate, but the food options where woefully inadeguate, running out of food and beverages during the afternoon. In terms of accessibility, the Exhibition and Trade Centre is conveniently located with ample parking options nearby. The venue is easily accessible by public transportation, making it convenient for attendees from various locations. While my visit was satisfactory overall, I believe there is room for improvement to elevate the experience. With some updates to the facilities, a better ticket boot (only one POS available, shared between two cashiers? In 2023?), this venue has the potential to become a standout destination for exhibitions and trade shows.
Henry T — Google review
Really easy to walk through every pavillion. Easy to find parking..I could be free or not it depends on which exhibition is taking place, every time I've been there I've never paid more than 3€ for parking so it's not that bad.
Jaime I — Google review
I visited this place for the first time in April 2023. Quite simple buildings were experienced here but the fiere was surprisingly big and served its purpose well. A big pro is the easy access from the city center and the railway station. I arrived by train and it was just a short nice walk to reach the fiere.

Valentine Park is a spacious and well-maintained urban oasis, offering a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. It features running trails, exercise stations, and two playgrounds for kids. The park also boasts a charming pond where visitors can observe ducks and fish. Additionally, there are ample seating areas to relax and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. We were at a concert in early July, very high humidity, you get all wet. Lots of midges, I advise you to take repellents. By 10:00 pm it became comfortable to be there. At the concert they sold drinks and food and accepted bank cards. And of course Placebo are fantastic

The Science Center Scientific Imaginary Pordenone is a great place to organize a birthday party, with staff who are commended for their patience and service. The interactive exhibits cater to middle school and early high school children, but younger kids can still have fun. Visitors recommend making use of the reservation system to fully enjoy the experience, which takes about 2-3 hours to see everything. The museum offers activities for both kids and adults, with helpful staff on hand.
Definitely worth a visit, even without kids. Make good use of the reservation system and book a time when the museum is empty, you will enjoy it fully. Takes about 2-3 hours if you want to see everything. Mostly in English as well, but some items miss translation. Staff very helpful. Parking can be marked, don't follow google maps till the end but turn to the semi-paved road leading directly to the museum.
