Botanical garden

Gardens
Bookworm Gardens is a whimsical botanical garden in Sheboygan that draws inspiration from popular children's books. Open seasonally from May to October, the garden features over 70 themed sections, each based on a different book and offering various fun and educational activities for kids of all ages. The park is designed to be trash-free and picnic-friendly, making it an ideal spot for family outings. Additionally, Bookworm Gardens hosts field trips, camp programs, and family festivals throughout the year.
Great place to take your family and spend a few hours walking the paths through the curated sections. The sections are mostly based on children’s stories, books, and fairy tales. You can tell a lot of time and care went into bringing these stories to life and providing an experience that feels special for the family. The walking path has good signage and directions, there are bathrooms, and it’s quiet. The cost was $12 for adults and free for kids under 2 years old. I highly recommend if you’re trying to find something new (a change from your neighborhood park or swimming pool) and want to have a fun experience with your family!

This is a beautiful garden, which has been designed based on different popular book themes. There are paved scenic ways which take you to different stops, where the books are kept for kids to stop, and read. There are multiple restrooms all along the garden, and plenty of free parking is available next to the garden, and across the street. Entry tickets are priced at $12 for adults, and $10 for kids aged 3-17. Kids under 2 are allowed free entry. Sheboygan county residents too have free entry, if the tickets are purchased in advance.

Both toddlers and moms were just amazed by this fantastic place! So many fun, recognizable and interactive installations, and an overall beautiful garden. The picknick area just outside was an extra bonus that had a good balance between seating area and activities to get both some food and some fun in between bites
Anna L — Google review
Super cute place. Especially for kids. The trails are easy to navigate and most everything is made to be interacted with. I went with just my husband and adult daughter and we enjoyed it, I definitely will be back with my grandkids
Lori B — Google review
What a gem! This was a beautiful, tucked away find for us today. Absolutely stunning gardens, and the books incorporated at every turn were so much fun! Perfect for kids, families, and adults who love nature and books. Will definitely return.
Erin L — Google review
Would give this 10 stars if I could! Had so much fun for hours with my preschool aged son. The attention to detail is really impeccable. So well kept, plenty of space, and clean bathrooms.
Kyla W — Google review
Don't go on a Tuesday! Should have checked out the hours before we went. Closed on Monday and Tuesday. But we went into the little picnic area that I think they use for school groups. Really cute. Hopefully we can visit again soon...on a day that they are actually open.
Nanci S — Google review
Visited with my sister in law and kids ages 2 and 4. We all had a magical time and highly recommend. Will absolutely be back and plan to get the books we haven't yet read out of the library prior to visiting next time so the kids can hunt for additional familiar friends.

Children's museum
Museums
Located in downtown Sheboygan, the Above & Beyond Children's Museum is a three-story interactive museum that offers 10,000 square feet of engaging exhibits and programs designed to stimulate children's imagination and learning through play. With unique spaces such as the mystical glow room, a tree house, a fire education area featuring part of a retired fire truck, and the Port of Sheboygan where kids can navigate a boat, there are endless opportunities for exploration.
Such a wonderful and accommodating space to take my toddler! They have multiple floors with different play/explore options. My son loves the top floor with the fire truck, fishing ship, and farmers market. They also have a calming corner upstairs with sensory items where overstimulated children may go and wind down (it has a door for privacy when in use 😊). If it is too busy for your younger toddlers they also have a farm area that is gated off from the older children. It has a family bathroom and a private nursing/changing room with a glider.

Was a great time for all of our 5 kiddos ages from almost 10 down to 6 months. We stayed for almost 3 hours and each kid had a blast. Definitely worth it.
Patty K — Google review
Such a great time. Stopped in for a visit and wanted to stay all day!! Great for kids of all ages ! The staff was so welcoming. Thank you.
The A — Google review
This museum is definitely geared towards young kids. There are 3 floors but not really a whole lot to do. My 7 year old was not impressed. It was also VERY loud and busy. If your kid is sensitive to loud noises I would avoid at busier times.
Heather P — Google review
Great when reserved for parties, apparently doesn't get stale year after year with how they shift things around often. Only complaint is that all the tubes are child sized because I would have gotten stuck had I gone back where I used to go. I wish there was an adult version, I loved it when I was 10. It's still pretty good years later.

Wonderful place to spend a few hours with little kids friendly staff
Debora Z — Google review
A fun and interactive museum for kids 6 and below. I feel like any older, they'll be bored. Our 4-year-old could have spent the whole day there!! She loved all the different activity areas from the dark room to the kitchen to the farm house. There were at least 3 floors of different activities. I appreciate how every inch of the walls and ceiling were covered with something-- animals to outer space. Everything was clean and well-maintained. I would station a staff or 2 at some "high risk" areas. Some children were climbing on things that could result in falls, and no one was around to monitor them. I think parents should be free or half price or something. There's nothing for us parents to do🙂 The playground outside was awesome!! 😔 They ran out of coffee. Would have loved some.
Lillie L — Google review
The place is hands down awesome, my favorite children's museum in Wisconsin! For me personally, it's more fun than the one in Baraboo, Sun Prairie or even Madison. Wow, I was impressed with the opportunity to climb 3 flights of stairs, watch the puppet show, "fish" right off the deck, and there's so much natural light on the 3rd floor!

Art museum
The John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, Wisconsin offers a variety of multimedia visual art exhibits as well as performances and educational opportunities. The museum showcases four different main exhibits created by various artists. One of the highlights of the center are the creatively designed bathrooms covered in art. This kid-friendly facility is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience something unique and different within the art world. Additionally, admission is free making it an affordable option for all visitors.
I recently visited the John Michael Kohler.Arts Center at 608 New York Ave, in Sheboygan, WI. I planned a trip here and was not disappointed at all. The museum is a no cost self guided adventure. The exhibits tended to be a little toilet and bathroom related but blended in so well with the many other items they had on display. The building and the area is beautiful and well worth another visit.

Its a cute little art museum. My character, Lost Princess, really enjoyed the mini houses that were perfect size for her. She even found a castle.
K ! — Google review
Nice gallery with a nice kids studio, gift shop, and cafe. No wait to enter on a Saturday morning, free admission. 7 galleries plus themed bathrooms occupied us for around 30 minutes. While some of the art is more stereotypical, "meme-like" modern art, a lot of it is very cool. Will return if I'm in the area again. Would recommend.
Brady S — Google review
Visited for the first time today. Moved to Sheboygan about 2 years ago and have been thinking about seeing. Glad I finally took the time. Art is subjective, so I didn't like everything, but it was great to see all the creativity and read about the artists. There are 3 floors of beautifully laid out exhibits. Make sure you visit them all. And don't miss the bathrooms! So cool, and each one has it's own unique design. We also had lunch at the cafe and ate outside in a beautiful garden with an amazing looking "gratitude" fountain. I had a bowl of the soup of the day (Creamy potato) and my friend had Red Curry Coconut Hummus that came with fresh carrots, celery and cucumber slices. I'm not a fan of Hummus, but this was delicious. So if you're on the fence about visiting a "boring" art museum, just go. I promise you won't be disappointed. AND... it's FREE! What a beautiful way to spend the day.
Nanci S — Google review
I’m not sure I can adequately say just how much I love this art museum! I’ve grown up less than 2 hours away and I’m just surprised this is such a hidden amazing secret! First of all it’s free. Second they had an interactive exhibit where we were tossed into a great art project and third, just a world class museum. Small sure but it made for a perfect day of getting the museum, preserve and design center done! Just loved it. Kudos to the current artist in residence. She was amazing and fun and helpful!
Chriss C — Google review
A really good collection of local and international contemporary and contemporary folk art. Very interesting. Occasionally awkward lighting

Nice experience! Nice exhibit to visit and it’s free so you can go wrong! Highly recommend!
Anna W — Google review
This place is so cool! It’s FREE because of grants they have been able to obtain. The art is very meaningful and the gift shop is amazing (great place to shop for a gift even if you do not go see the art). They have a studio where you can do art and a cafe.

Amazingly, this place is so cute that you sort of wish the line wouldn't move as fast as it does! The staff are clearly scooping professionals who are able to simultaneously give samples, answer questions and assemble whatever choices people make quickly and well. There are so many things to look at in this place, beginning with the little running train around the top of the shop to interesting candy choices; but the star attraction are the many choices of ice cream and sherbet. There is something for everyone from the chocolate lover to the caramel craver to the fruit fanatic. No wonder this place draws as many locals as tourists!

I had a double dip of Strawberry and Mint Chocolate Chip. Big chunks of strawberries and a lot of large pieces of chocolate. Very friendly staff and a nice location right across the street from The Blue Harbor Resort.

Delicious ice cream nachos! Lots of fun flavors of ice cream to choose from. The parlor felt very nostalgic and smelled so good! My daughter loved the little train that ran around by the ceiling. Very fun and a great atmosphere!

Public beach
Deland Park, also known as North Beach, is a picturesque lakeside park located in Sheboygan. It offers sandy beaches, a pavilion, boat ramps, and a fish-cleaning station. The park features nautical-themed playgrounds on the sand, volleyball courts, and a long pier with a lighthouse at the end. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the nearby lighthouse and explore the wreckage of the Lottie Cooper schooner that sank off the harbor in 1894.
Really amazing. Great for walking on a sunny day. Nice and clean atmosphere. Huge parking space available. And there’s a marina too. Separate parking for marina. People were flyover kites and some were walking with their kids and dogs. Nice for a day out with family and friends. We walked all the way till the lighthouse. It’s a great walk and the pier is well maintained and clean. Really beautiful and relaxing experience and a must visit place when in this area. Thanks. Photos by me.
JoJo E — Google review
Deland Park is a true gem along the Lake Michigan shoreline in Sheboygan. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this park offers something for everyone. The views of the lake are absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise or sunset, and the clean, sandy beach is perfect for relaxing, swimming, or walking along the shore. One of the highlights is the marina and boardwalk area, where you can watch boats come and go or enjoy a peaceful stroll. There’s also a fantastic playground for kids, ample picnic space, and plenty of walking and biking trails that connect to other parts of the city. The park is well-maintained, with clean restrooms and convenient parking. In summer, it becomes a lively hub with food trucks, kayakers, and even music events nearby. It’s also close to the Sheboygan Lighthouse and Blue Harbor Resort, making it easy to combine with other attractions. If you’re looking for a relaxing and scenic spot to enjoy the outdoors, Deland Park is a must-visit.
Ario — Google review
Nice place to be, especially with a family! Places to sit, places to play, some history, a few steps from a beach, and lots more to offer. It's a great balance of "touristy" but not a tourist trap. Biking, walking, swimming, playing, you name it, you can do it here. And it's quiet enough and open enough to do it without feeling crowded. It definitely checks the boxes for a place to relax and enjoy a day however you choose to enjoy it!
John C — Google review
Love that they have a marina several play parts for the children a very large Beach and you can walk in the water freely they also seem to be really good at having public restrooms available that were very clean and well working. Also like being able to have the experience to walk out to the lighthouse and back and then take that same path all the way out to the beach

A beautiful park with a large beach on lake Michigan featuring a children’s playground and volleyball nets. There’s a pavilion with bathrooms near the street side of the beach where you can shower off the sand. A marina is on the South side of the park as well as picnic tables and public barbecue pits. Marina also has bathrooms and there is another bathroom pavilion by the picnic tables.

Water & Amusement Parks
Quarry Beach Adventure Park and Water Sports, located at 3401 Calumet Drive in Sheboygan, is a family-friendly waterpark offering a variety of activities for all ages. The park features a forested area with a quarry lake and inflatable play equipment for seasonal swimming and sliding. Operated in partnership by the City of Sheboygan and Eos Surf and Outdoor, the park provides warmer waters than Lake Michigan's beaches.
My boyfriend and I enjoy coming to the Quarry for the 18 hole disc golf course. From the 7th basket and beyond is so amazingly beautiful walk through the woods . We have also walked around the quarry water pond it's always a wonderful feeling being in the great outdoors. I love Sheboygan.
Elizabeth R — Google review
Definitely a great place to check out if you’re in Sheboygan. Kids had a lot of fun one sessions just the perfect amount of time for our group. No, they could improve the viewing deck and the back stairs of the building are looking pretty rough. Also, their fish are quite hungry. Yes, they will nibble on you. Freak you out if you don’t know what’s going on just a heads up.
Chad N — Google review
Awesome place to be you can really relax and enjoy yourself with all the fun activities.
Daniel H — Google review
Very cool place. First of all, all the employees we encountered were very nice and helpful. They're only seem to be a few, but they were working hard. I know every place is kind of shorthanded right now, so awesome that they can keep this place open. This park has a large parking lot, and we went early to try to beat the rush. For the first hour and a half or so it was not busy at all. They do require life vests if going on the equipment, which is an awesome extra safety precaution. This is especially good because there are not lifeguards. If just using the beach and staying in the shallow, they're not required. The water was fairly warm, and the equipment was in very good shape. Sturdy. Kids appear to have a good time, although to forewarn you, the equipment is slippery due to the water. Nothing you can really do to fix that, and my kids didn't seem to mind, but they probably fell dozens of times. I probably would have died. True story. The beach does have a variety of different types of lawn chairs available- bonus you don't have to drag your own here, yay! As it got to be later in the day, it did get busier. Warmer too. There are restrooms in the main building, a variety of snacks for sale- candy, chips, ice cream, and a couple of kayaks you can take into the quarry.
J. G — Google review
This place is amazing! My kids had a blast and were exhausted after a hr on the course. The beach is beautiful and the chairs were comfortable. The facilities were clean as well. These pictures were from a year ago when we visited for the first time. We live 4hrs away but will be visiting again this month! My kids are so excited! I wish we had somewhere closer to home like this but sheboygan in general is a great place to visit and vacation!
Sarah B — Google review
This is for the 18 hole disc golf course. First 6 and last two are in the open, others are mostly short around 200’, but generally heavily wooded with very thick brush at many locations. Many dual tee pads. Can be buggy in wooded area during wet periods. Challenging and fun course. Course is reasonable to follow, mostly by watching for open trails away from the baskets. Some parking by #1 fairway, or lots by water park.
Dennis P — Google review
Disc golf course was beautiful, can’t wait to bring my swimsuit next time to take a dip in the quarry after a hot summer round.
Badger M — Google review
It was ok. You can tell the inflatables have been there for a while. Some of the handles used to pull yourself out of the water and on to them are busted. Some of the inflatables are almost impossible to get up on and others are extremely difficult to climb up on. In my opinion it’s not worth the $15. There are other inflatable water parks that are cheaper and better than this one.

A giant fenced in playground, what’s not to love?! Great variety of equipment, nice shelter with tables, and clean bathrooms.

Favorite park for everyone. Lots of kids of all ages. I have a 1 & 2 yr old and they always have such a great time. Sometimes the older kids get a bit crazy and that's when we leave.
Crystal R — Google review
We regularly bring our 5 Grandkids to Shaw Family Playground as often as we get a chance!! The play equipment is top-notch because it's sturdy, well-maintained & SAFE!! Thank you for this wonderful playground❣️❣️
Patricia B — Google review
Fun fenced playground. Many interesting equipment. This playground is connected to a park where you can spend your day with family in a picnic area or play a spot in one of the fields. The playground was donated by the shaw family, they have a very interesting story. I will leave it for the readers to read themselves. Parking is available, bathrooms are maintained and clean. We picked up some pizza for dinner and spent the early evening there. Kids had a blast.
Marwan O — Google review
The only update I would have for this park is to add just one garbage on the inside of the fence line maybe by the swings so parents don’t have to leave their kids to throw things away. Also, some of the benches seem to be a safety hazard as the legs are buckling when people sit on them.
Jennifer M — Google review
Sheboygans first ADA playground. Amazing place. Plenty of things for all kids to climb, slide, and run on. The ground is rubberized so it's easy on the knees to walk on. The entire playground is fenced except for the entrance so parents can rest easy knowing that their kids can't run off.
Erik T — Google review
I love this park! if I'm being totally honest, It's probably the best plyground in sheboygan! the park has ziplines, rockwalls, musical insturments, swings, everything a kid could want at a park! the bathrooms are also nice, they also have water fountains located right next to the bathrooms. Also, nice nature surrounding the park! please come here!

Customers have praised the friendly and accommodating staff who go above and beyond to assist patrons.
Really cool store. Ancient decor and so many games and other things to buy. The owner was really kind and helpful. There were gay flags all over and it was so nice! Got a cool new game called Castle Panic. We have played it and it’s really nice. You’re all working against the game so that’s nice for siblings to not be against eachother. Also got some D&D items.

Stopped in to buy some cool sleeves for my tarkir dragon storm commander deck I pre ordered through them, and the old lady behind the counter accused me of leaving a bad review. She was very hostile and used a lot of profanity. She claimed I was the William that left a really nasty review attacking her children and her mental health a year prior. I informed her numerous times that I have never left a review for the store, and that I was just there to buy some sleeves. I also informed her numerous times that there is more than one person named “William” in this world. She continued to berate me, even asking me to “please take down the review, because around here “our name” is all we have.” It was a strange experience to say the least. I very rarely do reviews, but I felt this is necessary. I strongly recommend you avoid this store.
Will — Google review
Had a great time visiting this shop today. Very friendly owner and had just as much fun chatting with her as I did browsing the great selection of games. They feature different games every now and then and have them setup in display cases so you can see what's actually in the box instead of just scanning through box after box. A great resource for gamers in this charming town. Hoping to visit again in the future!
Mike Z — Google review
Let’s just start by addressing that this is one of the most beautiful game stores I have ever been in. It took me a while to even look at the game selection because of how unique this space is! The focus is definitely more on board games but there is a nice collection of TTRPGs as well and dice a plenty. Staff is very friendly and took my random questions about the building in stride! A lot of great gift ideas here as well.

I was so very impressed when my son and I went today. This felt so much bigger and magical then a simple "Game Store" The workers were above and beyond amazing. Very friendly, very, very knowledgeable and super helpful with questions and assistance finding games. The owner was friendly and super down to earth. There are soooo many games to choose from, from children games to complicated story games like Dungons and Dragons. I would absolutely recommend going to this store if for no other reason then the gorgeous architecture and amazing atmosphere.

It's not what is used to be. The place feels cold, deprived of it's past warmth and charisma. They seem to care more for a sale than for the customer. Recommendation: No. Just go to Victory Games. They're nice over there, not fake nice.

If I could crank this review all the way up to 11 stars, I would. I got to visit the store while visiting my bestie and it is so lovely inside. I really appreciate the example game set-ups they have on display, and the staff are very friendly. They really went above and beyond for me recently when I contacted them about purchasing a surprise gift for my bestie. They wrapped it up beautifully and even crafted my lengthy message into a beautiful letter that went with the Lord of the Rings theme and everything. I tricked my friend into thinking they were going to the store to buy something for me, and the staff were able to surprise her on my behalf. It worked perfectly thanks to them! I love The GameBoard ❤️

Harry’s Prohibition Bistro is a charming 1920s-style eatery located on the Sheboygan riverfront, offering stunning views and a delightful riverfront patio. The bistro specializes in authentic wood-fired Neapolitan pizza cooked in a traditional oven, complemented by an array of Italian dishes and casual wines from various regions. Guests can also savor craft beers and handcrafted cocktails while enjoying daily specials and decadent desserts.
Situated right on the water, this place offers great experience. While we didn't have the chance to sample their pizza this time, it's definitely on our list for the next visit. The drinks were expertly crafted and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend!"

I would give it 6 stars if I could. Very friendly staff, great location on the river, amazing food, timely service and fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommend!

From the very beginning of our stay at Harry’s my party and I were impressed by the kind, quick service, fun atmosphere, and great background music. Our waitress was attentive and personable. I wish I could remember her name. She was helpful with the little ones, and knew to ask one of the moms of the party if she should remove the basil leaf from their pasta before presenting it to the kids. It was a small gesture, but showcases the caliber of thoughtful service you’ll receive from this restaurant. And the food. My goodness. This was the best pizza I have ever had. I had the Walnut. Others in my party had several other varieties of pizza and pasta. We were all so impressed by the food. Thank you, Harry’s, for the great dining experience! I can’t recommend this place enough!
Ben K — Google review
Tucked away on the harbor's edge near Lake Michigan, Harry's captures the essence of authentic Italian dining with a waterfront twist. The dim, ambient lighting creates an intimate, romantic atmosphere—perfect for date nights. Their woodfire pizzas bring you to Italy, charred to perfection in a blazing oven that infuses every crust with smoky, authentic flavor. What elevates the experience is the bartender, (the name escapes me, but his charisma doesn't). Knowledgeable about wines and cocktails, he crafts them with flair. Friendly without being overbearing.

Great pizza and fast service. We arrived during a busy Saturday evening, 9 people, no reservation. We were promptly seated and served without any issue. The pizzas were great. I added some veggies to mine -- perfect for my tastes. We would rate the pizza better than the pasta dishes.

WOW! We loved our dinner at Harry’s 🙌🏼 We were sat immediately, and our server was extremely kind and attentive. We both ordered pizza - I got the Truffle and my fiancé ordered the Beef Marsala. Honestly some of the best wood fired pizza we’ve had. We also got a bottle of moscato which was delicious. We’re looking forward to our next visit!

Greece E Spoon is a casual eatery in Sheboygan, offering a variety of Greek dishes and traditional favorites. The restaurant has gained popularity for its delicious gyros, burgers, salads, and other Greek entrees served from a counter. Customers have raved about the flavorful Chicken Pesto Sandwich and the refreshing Lemon Lavender Malt.
Super tasty gyro! Totally worth an out of the way pit stop from Manitowoc on my way to Chicago! Nicely seasoned meat, with hints of spice that brings authentic moussaka to mind. Generous helping (too much!) and pleasant Greek feel to the place. Not too far from Lakefront.
Brandon K — Google review
Omg it is sooooo filling!!! Great portion size for they gryo. The baklava is delicious. The French fries to me were a little salty but the sauce cuts through it perfectly. Quick friendly service and hot fresh food. Oh yeah my family will be back.
Jessica M — Google review
Deluxe gyro was absolutely stunning, the food isn't greasy so it's great for those like me who have gerd, The only reason I gave it a four is cause I wish there would have been more veggies on it, otherwise the taste was so explosive that I was in awe, I actually couldn't contain myself from saying wow out loud. The cook/cashier(impressive he's able to do both at the same time) named austin who prepared my food is very time orienated and is absolutely respectful and very insightful on the menu. He made sure I got an item that wasnt too spicy but spicy enough, The sweetness added to that spiciness and the tzatziki sauce was unlike any other Greek restaurants I've been too and is far more delicious than the others. I love the fact that they serve glass cane sugar sodas because regular sugar causes inflammation for me so it's nice that they have the healthier and better options readily available with a bottle opener on hand. This place has some very beautiful art that lies across the walls in a comic panel is very great, I am absolutely in love with the shading and the art style the panels have whilst simultaneously pairing with the beautiful green vines on the ceiling; giving this place a very accepting and welcoming atmosphere. Also seeing that they support LGBTQ events by posting them on the side of their soda machine is absolutely great. The whole entire place compliments each other , making it so your eyes really want to look at everything in this restaurant. It's not too much, not too little, just right. My favorite piece by far is the Medusa plant, Medusa is such a great goddess to represent feminism. This is a place you want to support and go to locally!

I ate the Zeus gyro (pictured). It was delicious. The surprise in it is the honey. It cuts the saltiness in a very pleasant way. The woman working was friendly and courteous. The food came out quickly. All in all it was a great experience

I heard a rumour that this wonderful Greek spot is going to only serve from trucks. I will miss this restaurant and it was only my first time there. You become Greek (if you are not already) during the fleeting divine moments that you are eating this wonderful food that is clearly made with love. I got a classic gyro plate (I believe it was called this)...it had a side salad with the standard feta and olives...great feta btw. A delectable spanokopita slice, and cut up triangles of pita to go along with the meat and Tzatziki sauce...oh so good, alongside a bed of sliced onions and tomatoes. Their Greek fries are delightful. Loved it.
Kent W — Google review
Stopped in here for some quick food with our family and it went fantastic! It was such a good price and the food was so tasty. We had the gyros, greek fries, and the cheese curds. These were all very top notch and so cheap. Can’t wait to come back and feast again!

Been wanting to try Greece E Spoon out and not only did I finally get to, but I thoroughly enjoyed it as well! The building is a cozy clean and spacious establishment with a nice little decorated interior! Staff was friendly quick and appreciative of the tip given! Food was great, got some Greek French Fries, cheese curds and a big lamb and beef gyro plate, all of which were scrumptious as all heck! I ain't got no problems with Greece E Spoon other than their odd hours, thoroughly recommended if you're in the mood for some good Greek Food! Pictures are of the inside and outside of the building, some of the decorations I liked, menu, and food!

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Atmosphere, food, and service are all top shelf quality. When I visited Greece E Spoon my so and myself ordered the Greece E Burger, The Philly Gyro, and the cheese curds. All where incredible. The flavor of the meat, spices, and other ingredients were very hearty and strong. Any expectations you have for a Greek restaurant will be met and surpassed. Only "complaint", if you can really call it that, would be drink selection and seating. However these can be easily dismissed for the homey nature and down to earth vibe of not only this establishment, but the culture as well.

3 Sheeps Brewing Company, located in Sheboygan, is the city's sole packaging brewery and has been crafting a diverse range of craft beers and ales since 2012. The brewery offers up to 20 beers on tap, growler fills, and bottled or canned beer for takeout. Visitors can enjoy beer tastings in the modern family- and pet-friendly taproom, which also features entertainment options and a retail shop selling beer-related merchandise.
Whether you are sipping your favorite brew at the 3 Sheeps tap room or swinging in to grab a pack to enjoy at home, 3 Sheeps is a top notch brewery. With a wide array of beverages from dark, rich stouts to crisp pilsners and hard seltzers to house-brewed soft drinks, 3 Sheeps has something for everybody-- and they do it well! I love how each visit is a "choose your own adventure" and the knowledgeable servers can walk you through each brews nuances and flavor profile. I also have never seen such an abundance of cool merch in a brewery! Shirts, hats, signs, pet gear, beer soap (!?), stickers... the list truly does go on. Swing in if you're in Sheboygan - this is a must-do local stop. (Pets & kids welcome!)

We went to Three Sheeps for a bridal shower and enjoyed the space. It’s clearly a community highlight — there’s no picture but outside was hopping with yard games, volleyball, and kids playing. Inside it was a little loud with the music, and the area reserved for the party wasn’t super private, but overall it’s a hip and trendy space. We got the root beer and the orange cream soda because neither of us drink much. We enjoyed them — but the 6 pack of each saves a ton of money versus buying them individually. We ended up buying a six pack for a family get together that weekend and the orange cream went over well. They weren’t the best sodas we had had but they were tasty!

Great beer. It's been pretty busy every time I have stopped so it's not super easy or fast to get a beer or flight. Bartenders don't really have time to talk about the beers as they do at other breweries. Perhaps they need more staff or I just need to stop by at more of an off time. Nice selection of cool merch.

Great local brewery. Large indoor seating area with a small arcade but also lots of options outside (yard games, open space) make it ideal for kids to run around. Wide range of beverages so just about anybody can find something they like, even if they aren't a huge beer connoisseur. Would recommend checking out to anybody heading to Sheboygan.

I loved being able to engage with the salvage. I've never seen anything like it. My one hope is the markers describing what we're looking at get cleaned up. They are weathered to the point that most were illegible.

I would say it would be a five star however you can’t read any of the signs anymore . I truly want to learn about the shipwreck. If the signs are too expensive to re make then a QR code could be provided that brings you to all the info. Anywho it was so cool yet sad to walk through the wreck.

Very unique and just a quick walk from the marina after fishing. Some of the plaques were hard to read. A spot that does not takes a lot of time and can walk through very easily. It is also a quick walk to the beach by the marina. Just a fun town to be in and makes it seem like the coast off the ocean and not Wisconsin.

This is interesting to see, and nice, in some ways, that it is outdoors where people can visit easily as part of an overall walking excursion to see the harbor, but it is deteriorating from the wind exposure, and it is hard to read the signs that document the history of the ship.

Sheboygan Indian Mound Park is a 15-acre park that was established in 1966. The park features prehistoric Native American burial mounds, which can be viewed along an interpretive trail that winds through the area. Visitors can learn about the history of the mounds and the plants in the park through educational plaques located throughout the grounds.
Peaceful little park with lots of informative and respectful signs. Urban location - right in the middle of a quiet neighborhood, there are preserved and protected mounds. Maps were available. There is a nature trail that goes down to a nearby creek. Feels very secluded, but still safe. There's a boardwalk that's older but still usable. Loved it.
Stephanie W — Google review
Nice place to get a little nature hike and learn some Native American history while you're at it. The trails were maintained well in most of the areas where the mounds are. A couple spots had a narrow path and were overgrown on the sides where brushing your legs against the foliage on the sides. I would recommend pants vs shorts. Well-shaded. I was disappointed to find the nature trail was closed in a couple places near the wetland boundary so we couldn't walk more. It's nice that the mounds are being preserved.
Jeremey W — Google review
Happy this area was preserved. Full of spring flowers. However I think it would be better to visit in fall/winter to better see the mounds which were hard to pick out among all the plants of various heights.

From an historic standpoint, an interesting place and a nice place for bird watching. Trails not very well maintained and one closed due to mud..no attempt at a boardwalk. Trees across trails elsewhere.

The Art Preserve of the John Michael Kohler Arts Center is a unique three-story facility that houses immersive artist-built environments. These environments, coined by the museum as total works of art, were taken from their original locations and preserved in the museum. The preserve offers a different experience compared to traditional art collections, allowing visitors to experience artists' studios, workshops, and art collections exactly as they were. The displays are accompanied by written information and old-time movies for an engaging and thought-provoking visit.
I recently visited the Art Preserve at 3636 Lower Falls Rd, in Sheboygan, WI. I guess you start off before you actually enter the building. I loved the exterior of the front of the building and the wilderness feeling it creates. In addition, there are several sculptures around the parking lot. Walking in, you are quickly greeted and you are given some direction on what is offered on this no cost self guided folk art museum. A great facility.
Greg K — Google review
Amazing experience as a wheelchair user and with disabled family. Every path and area was well layed out to accommodate wheelchairs. One of the exhibits had an option to walk up to it as well so had a ramp for chairs so no one missed out. It's also a generally very quiet building which offered a much needed sensory break. You can't bring food or water inside for the safety of the art and I did not know this. A worker offered to keep my water bottle at the front desk so we didn't have to go back to the car to drop it off which was VERY helpful. 💜 Also a thank you to that worker for not judging my Dad's joke. My Dad has a TBI and sometimes misses societal boundaries but the worker didn't judge. The multi stall bathrooms are not chair accessible but I imagine that the single person family restrooms are. The elevator is MASSIVE and has a few chairs in it to watch a presentation on a TV screen in it. There are places with darker lighting in them that preserve the art but also offered me a place to rest my eyes as they strain easily in bright light. The entrance is also very accessible and I felt so seen and thought about. Even the choice of solid polished floors for an easier time pushing my chair without getting stuck on other types of flooring was amazing. It was an all around great experience and my family and I will be going to the other art building sometime soon to experience more. We will also likely revisit this building. 💜💜💜

Visited here after touring the John Michael Kohler Art Center on New York Ave in Sheboygan. My first impression was that it seemed "peaceful" walking from the parking lot past butterfly and bee friendly bushes and into a magnificent wooden entrance. The museum was a lot smaller than the Art Center, but still interesting. I love how the exhibits were put together with a screen for viewing details about the art and artist, and the additional videos throughout the museum. One exhibit even had an old television set from a restored house playing artist information. Pretty cool. Worth the visit, and like the art center, admission is free

The Art Preserve is a must stop if you are visiting the Sheboygan area. I stopped in Saturday with my boys, and both of them love art. There are many collections to look at on three different floors. Don't forget to check out the bathrooms on the first and third floors. They are super cool.
Paul F — Google review
A lovely experience. A nice free museum to cool down on a hot day. They had a really well done kids activity booklet that followed the art. Their modern forest entrance really set the stage. We enjoyed the third floor bathrooms, definitely worth a visit.

Arrosto Delicatessen is a cozy and spacious sandwich shop known for its delicious and oversized portions. The paninis are particularly noteworthy, with the smaller size being more than enough to satisfy even a hungry person. The building itself is clean and inviting, making it a great spot for takeout. Customers can choose to create their own sandwich or go with one of the shop's suggestions. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, with homemade savory basil pesto being a standout feature.
We had an errand to run up by Sheboygan so decided to stop by and get dinner - we love supporting local - what a great find! This felt like such a cozy homey kind of place that really puts a lot of attention into the details and fresh ingredients. We had grilled cheese on focaccia (a real wonderful surprise for this grilled cheese traditionalist!!), the soup of the week (broccoli cheddar) and the beer cheese & roast beef on focaccia served the Wisconsin way. All of it was delicious! Generous portions. Great flavors, made to order, on fresh focaccia. Lots of drink options. And to end it all - really delicious macarons. Our server, Zach, was very helpful and friendly - willing to give advice when we asked. Make sure you give this place a try! Great locally owned deli - I know we’ll definitely be back!

Arrosto – Worth Every Bite Arrosto is a charming sandwich shop with stylish decor and exceptionally friendly service. I’ll admit, the $21.10 price tag for a roast beef and prosciutto sandwich plus a cannoli gave me pause—but wow, was it worth it. The 9" sandwich is a beast. Absolutely loaded, no skimping on meat or vegetables. The flavors were fantastic, and the mozzarella was hot, gooey, and perfectly stretchy. The focaccia bread? Baked fresh on site and served warm. Finishing it in one go was impossible—but I regret nothing. And the cannoli? Leave the gun, take the cannoli. Crisp, sweet, and filled just right. Topped with crushed pistachios and chocolate chips, it hit all the right notes. 5 stars. I’ll be back. Probably hungry.

Gave this place a shot cause I heard great things. Sadly it was very disappointing. Chicken parm had almost no tomato sauce. Salad was 90% mushrooms with a few beets and tossed tomatoes. Sloppy appearance. Not a cheap lunch. Won’t order again.

Excellent sandwiches!! All are pressed on a panini press and come out crispy and piping hot. Customer service great. Takes about 10-15 min for sandwich to get done. Clean and inviting deli. Well worth stopping. The 9" sandwich is enough for two!

Why is there not a line around the corner for this place? I guess maybe cause it’s in Sheboygan, which was a relatively obscure stop for two New Yorkers, but we did it for the Home Alone reference. ChatGPT recommended this place and I’ve never been so thankful for AI…truly one of the most incredible sandwiches I’ve eaten. I can’t imagine I’ll ever come back to Sheboygan, but I actually might make it a destination just to come back here.

Nice little spot that seems to focus on the quality on what they serve. Large sandwiches made with fresh. Unfortunately, the sandwiches were just okay. I had the Amanda and the giardinera was missing the heat, acid, and crunch. My kids though their sandwiches were fine, just not great. I think a few tweaks to their recipe could take them from okay to fantastic.

The James Tellen Woodland Sculpture Garden, managed by the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, is a hidden gem located in Wilson, just south of Sheboygan. The garden features over 30 unique concrete sculptures created by artist James Tellen, many with religious themes. Visitors can stroll through the peaceful wooded property and admire the aged yet creative sculptures along the trail covered with yellow leaves. This serene garden offers a real-life artist environment and is free to visit seven days a week.
This was an absolute fantastic day. This location is very unique. And a great place to take the family, while I would exploring the lakeshore. This location has a pretty decent sized parking lot and good walking trails along with historic buildings, ample signage and lots of statues. While the park does not charge, it's probably a good idea to bring some donation money for the box. Visiting this place in fall would be absolutely awesome with all the hard woods and colors of the leaves. There's also more walking trails beyond the property, which are really neat,

An intriguing amusement near the State Parks that is worth a visit. It's interesting to note that the age of the sculptures is significant. Beyond the sculpture garden there is a wooded path along a brook which makes for a nice walk and place to sit and ponder life. Please be aware that it's recommended to wear something blaze or bright while on the trails during bow hunting season.
Teresa B — Google review
The sculptures themselves are a little old, disheveled, and lacking in awe. Most of them look like they were made out of a sandcastle like material minus 2 beautiful statues of St Paul and Abe Lincoln that look like they were actually carved out of stone. The best part about this area, besides being free, is the stunning view next to it. There's a walking trail that goes out from the sculpture garden that if you go in the right season is an absolutely beautiful walk. If it were not for the walking trail the sculpture garden would be rated lower, but I'm glad it's here.

Meh. Some cool history and a neat little hideaway, but I was disappointed after so much hype in other reviews. The driveway/parking was easy to miss. Don't go out of your way to visit, but cool stop if you're nearby already and like artistic works.

No tickets necessary for this adventure. Bring a picnic & friends plus the kiddos too. Easy to walk & maybe also wheel chair accessable. We got some inspiration & good ideas for our grotto garden. If J.T. could create this then so can we. Especially enjoy the water feature/ tiny stream. Very simple-- effective! The forest setting Is plesent, quiet, serene. No other folks are here on Thursday 10-16-25 Thanks for showing this & saving it.

Unique sculpture garden in a beautiful rustic area not too far off the beaten path. I enjoyed coming here and found the sculptures to be intriguing. The path was short, but clean and very walkable. Overall, this free find, was worth the stop if you like artistic things.

Restaurant
Harry's Diner is a popular American eatery with two locations in Sheboygan, known for its classic 1950s diner atmosphere. The shiny metal building and retro decor, including checkered tablecloths and a life-size Elvis statue, create a fun and nostalgic ambiance. The menu features breakfast and lunch items such as country fresh eggs, breakfast sandwiches, French toast, burgers, and classic malt shakes.
Our absolute favorite breakfast place in Sheboygan. We take all of our out of town friends and family there. Great food, friendly staff and fun unique atmosphere. Our go to is the flat breakfast comes with hash browns and you can ask for their selection of hot sauces!
Emma B — Google review
Absolutely loved it! This awesome diner has a great ambiance, the waitresses are all dressed up in 50’s style outfits. The decor is cute, the service was excellent and food was delicious! Especially since the menu has Breakfast ALL DAY LONG! I highly recommend the PB shake! I would gladly come back if in the area, and tell everyone I know to check it out!

I used "Find me Gluten Free" to find this sweet diner. I brought 15 kids mid-camp out after visiting the WI Maritime Museum. The staff was amazing at accommodating GF and pepper free allergies. They were patient, efficient and the food was very tasty! I'd go back in a heartbeat! (Recommend giving them a call prior with a large group)

Hubby and I accidentally came upon this gem of a place. We loved it! The 50s diner theme is cute and cheery inside. The waitstaff wear 50s style skirts and are also very pleasant. And the food is delicious! The serving sizes were enough for us to take half of everything home with us. Even though he got the omelette and I got the breakfast burrito, we still couldn't resist sharing the pistachio pancakes that had a cream cheese pistachio "fluff" on top. SO yummy! (This may have been a special, not normally on the menu). Oh! Also, I saw someone having their cheesy bacon soup, so our waitstaff brought me a small sample. Yum! Will be back to get a full bowl of that, next time.

We enjoyed the ham and cheese omelet, hash browns and white toast, and the turkey bacon club with chicken noodle soup. The food and service was good. We love the '50's decor!

I am so happy this place popped up when searching for breakfast near us! Immediately the atmosphere of the diner caught my eye, as well as a note stating they had mimosas and more! Haven't been here in years and was not disappointed. Food was super good. We got a pizza and an appetizer. The drinks were very fair priced. We also bowled and had a lot of fun. Employees were attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back again!

We have eaten at Strikes bar and grill many times and always received our food in a timely matter, and it was good no matter how busy it was. Now that it's under new ownership, and the cook and bartender I have never seen before, the place has gone down hill. We waited 53 minutes for our sandwhiches and fries. The steaks were dry and burnt on the edges, and we were the only ones sitting at the tables. They were more concerned about waiting on the bowlers. The cook was very slow. The bartender was good though. We will not return.
Robert T — Google review
I will give Strikes Bar and Grill inside Lakeshore Lanes a positive review for their food. No complaints on the food. The issue that I have is service is a chaotic mess. With the amount of people working, they are all running around with their heads cut off. No one is assigned to just watch the bar. I sat at the bar and waited over 20 minutes to just get a drink. 6 people working but no one minding the bar. Even if you are sitting at a table you have to wait for a while. Need to correct this.

We took a party of 8 here to bowl 2 games on 2 lanes. 5 adults, 3 kids-split this way per lane. Obviously the kids finished sooner than the adults but halfway through our 2nd game our lane shut off. When we confronted the desk associates, they told us that we should've split our party 4/4 because we "played our 2 games". Mind you we paid over $100 for our games and we feel that being cut out in the 6th frame constituted some sort of refund. The manager wouldn't come out to discuss with us, and the kids behind the counter offered me $4.25 in compensation. I pay for 2 games, I'm playing 2 games. Not 1.5. We paid for a 3rd game and the same thing just happened to the kids.

The library provides free public access computers, laptops, and Wi-Fi, making it an ideal spot to relax and plan your day. With interconnected library systems, visitors can borrow items from various libraries.
I actually went to Mead Public Library when a small comic event was happening and not only was that fun, the Library itself was very nice. Inside and out, not only was the Expanses of the Library big, bit very well kept, clean, and taken care of with easy navigation to boot! The service was good on all fronts. From the Comic vendors to the local staff, everyone was courteous and friendly to talk to! In terms of Library associated amenities, they are plentiful and well maintained! No complaints, if you want to go to a good Library in Sheboygan, Mead is your place to go, event lined or not! Videos and picture are of the outside of the library, as I didn't wanna take awkward images of it while a lot of people i didn't know were there!
MistahZ — Google review
I admit this review will be somewhat petty. ~~ I'm not from this area, but I wanted to spend my day at a local public (free) library. I selected this one as my first option because it had around 160 reviews and a 4.6 star overall rating. The photos looked great, and I was truly excited to visit for the day. Alas, I never even made it inside. The PUBLIC (free) library has metered parking, so I reasonably decided to park elsewhere, then walk over. I drove for blocks. There are no adjacent blocks with parking options that aren't metered. ~~This is likely a common/expected thing for the locals, who think little to nothing of this issue. The library parking rate is $0.75 per hour with free parking beginning at 5 PM. So, if I was looking to stay from 11 AM until the free parking began, I'd be paying $4.50 to visit the Public Library. This isn't a great sum, but even if parking was only $0.05 for a day of parking, it's still a financial gate that undermines the library's status as being free. ~~Rant concluded. I've added some relevant parking-cost photos for your convenience. It's my goal to include as much necessary information as I continue reviewing locations across the country. ~Library details: There are three floors. I've included a floor-breakdown photo, which shows what you will find on each floor. I saw that they had book club kits on the first floor, and I adore this idea! The included binder organizes the books in different informative lists for your perusal. The kits seemed to contain 10-12 of a given book. ~~A designated quiet area with individual study rooms stood out to me on the 2nd floor. There were also various open tables, computer terminals, and other compartmentalized sections you can view on the earlier photo of floor breakdowns. ~~The 3rd floor was largely for the little ones. I didn't peruse this floor a great deal (due to my not having children accompanying me 😅), but it seemed like an enjoyable, colorful space. There were also 2 other rooms adjacent to the larger kids' library. There was a teen center as well as a business/confrence center called the Loft. I've included each's door information if you want further details. ☆The last photo is simply a door, though I'm not entirely sure it was actually there. 😅 It exists in the middle of a stairwell, between the 2nd and 3rd floor. It's unmarked and locked. Could someone else please advise if this door actually exists? It's just before the kids' floor, so I'm tempted to believe this is some sort of Narnia situation. 😂🤣 ~Anywho, I hope you enjoy your time visiting the books! 🥰 Happy reading, JT

Jcyn B — Google review
The parking seems not free? Also it is a bit dirty outside in the parking so I did not dare to go out the car and go into the library. However, most of the books I like are from this library, the best way is hold and picked up at local libraries.

Step into the Victorian Chocolate Shoppe in Sheboygan and be transported back to a bygone era of old-time candy stores. The air is filled with the irresistible aroma of chocolate, all made in small batches to ensure top quality. With over 80 varieties of hand-dipped, homemade chocolates available, including year-round favorites like chocolate-covered raspberries, this charming shop offers a nostalgic dessert experience. Visitors can expect great customer service and an array of both handmade chocolates and packaged treats at reasonable prices.
Quick story: When I first moved to Sheboygan in Fall of 2020, I was just starting to see this guy I liked and he wanted me to meet his parents. I hoped to make a good impression and looked for local shops where I could purchase a gift. I went to the Victorian Chocolate Shoppe and purchased the prettiest big box of assorted truffles they had. At the time of posting this comment, I have been married to my husband for 3 years and have a wonderful relationship with my in-laws. I think it's safe to say that the chocolate went over well! 😉😁 I continue to enjoy many treats from this shop including the chocolate covered almonds, dark chocolate fall leaves, and mini peanut butter cups. Scrumptious!
Justina P — Google review
Nice shop, decent selection. A little chaotic at the counter (probably just went on a busy day). Prices were on par for boutique chocolate shops. I am a dark chocolate fanatic. I did not ask what percentage their dark chocolate treats are, but it felt like eating a dark hershey's bar that was too milky to be considered dark chocolate? A lot of dark chocolate I buy has no milk, milk was in the ingredients list. I just personally did not enjoy the dark chocolate treat I tried. Overall, I think good selection, good prices. If you aren't picky about your chocolate, its fine.
Corey — Google review
Great selection of candies, both handmade chocolates and packaged treats. Most items decently priced, a few packaged items I thought were a bit high. The chocolates are fantastic! We picked out a bunch of candies to try, everything we've tried so far has been very good. Will definitely stop by again. Great customer service, it did take a little while to be served but only because at the time we were there, there was one very sweet lady working. She was awesome.

I’ve stopped here a couple of times, and any time downtown Sheboygan comes up, I can’t recommend stopping by enough. The first time I visited, we happened to walk up right at closing time. Instead of turning us away, they waved us, and another family, in with smiles staying open to help us. Another time, the husband (it’s run by the friendliest husband-and-wife duo, who doesn’t love a mom and pop shop?) offered us a free sample and struck up a conversation. When I brought my mom, she was reminded of visiting the general store as a kid, where she’d pick out penny candy. These days it’s closer to five cents, but how many places even let you shop candy by the piece anymore? I’m almost 30, and every time I step inside, I still get that same “kid in a candy shop” feeling.

Each lesson comes fully equipped with everything you need—boards, wetsuits, and expert instruction. After a lot of research I bought a new rigid paddle board from EOS, upgrading from my inflatable. They had the exact board I wanted in stock with two to choose from. The employee that helped me (didn’t get his name unfortunately) gave me great tips for things to keep in mind with my upgrade for storage and paddling, asked and made sure I had a paddle already, helped show me new components to my board and even helped and taught me how to safely secure the board to my car. If you're looking for a delightful spot where little ones can play and parents can unwind, Mini Mocha Play Cafe in Sheboygan is the perfect destination. This charming cafe offers a safe and engaging environment for infants and toddlers to socialize while adults enjoy their favorite brews. The owners are not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, ensuring that every visit is enjoyable. The space itself is impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed, making it an ideal place for families to spend quality time together.
We hosted my sons first birthday party at mini mocha play cafe and it was an amazing time! Super affordable venue with optional add ons that are also in a great price range compared to other venues we looked into. We supplied all our own decorations (the cafe supplied our brown table cloths and splat mat for under the high chair) Stefanie was extremely helpful with setup and cleanup, they had delicious specialty drinks and a very clean facility. The play space has many open pretend play/Montessori options for kids under 12 and there was even a large gated pen with soft mats appropriate for babies and younger toddlers. It wasn’t too big or to small, perfect size venue for Little’s that are on the run so you can keep eyes on them. Worth every penny definitely plan to host here again.

We absolutely love this place! It’s the perfect combination of fun for kids and relaxation for adults. Our daughter has the best time every time we visit — the play area is clean, safe, and full of engaging activities that keep her entertained for hours. Meanwhile, we get to enjoy a great cup of coffee in a cozy, welcoming space. The staff is friendly and attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care about creating a great experience for families. Highly recommend to any parents looking for a stress-free outing where everyone leaves happy!

Great place for kids 0-6 free wifi and drip coffee/tea for the adults. Small area but that works to your advantage as they are easier to watch and more likely to socialize with the other children. They have specialty coffee drinks available and snacks for the kids like easy mac that will eat. If you have kids at that age spend a day here.

This is a tremendously fun spot for children. I originally took my daughter to the children's museum in town which was a big letdown in terms of exhibits and activities. We went walking and found this location which is infinitely more fun. The owner was very pleasant and very attentive. 10/10 experience

Water park
Breaker Bay Waterpark, located at the Blue Harbor Resort, offers a fantastic experience for families. The park has attentive lifeguards and readily available towels that can be exchanged for dry ones at any time. There are various fun activities for kids, including the wave rider attraction and a decent selection of food at the cafe. The waterpark is clean and safe with plenty of staff to ensure guests' safety.
Great place to take the kids for some fun on a rainy day. There are a decent amount of arcades, and the prizes are not terrible the amount of tickets required. Good family fun!

We generally love this place and have returned a few times. In our most recent stay, the staff was not as friendly as they have been in the past. The life guards were really particular about measuring my 3 year old son every time he went down the same slide. He was tall enough, but that didn't stop them from harassing him each time he attempted the same slide. The kid running the towel stand didn't want to fold towels so he was handing out whatever came out of the dryer. Just unprofessional.

Nice staff and lifeguards always on the lookout for trouble.

They have inconsiderate lifeguards that do not allow children to warm up when freezing cold

Great weekend getaway for families. Our almost 2 year old LOVED the slides and lazy river.
Grace B — Google review
Fun water park and nice hotel. We love coming here and the kids enjoy all the different activities.
Tim A — Google review
We had a great experience at the waterpark as guests of the Blue Harbor Resort. 6 and 8yr old had lots of fun. The wait time on the slides varied but was not bad. The lifeguards were very attentive. Towels were readily available - and can be switched for dry ones at any point. Cafe had a decent selection. Looking forward to returning!
Donna Y — Google review
This place has gone down the gutters. They nickle and dime for everything. They put a wristband on my daughter and it slipped right off so I asked to trade it for a new one. They said and I quote "oh we can't swap it because it'll be effect our profits for the day" Are you kidding me?! It costed my daughter and myself $95!!! Just to get in for the day. And a 20 cent plastic wristband is going to make them go broke? On top of that the two giant slides aren't operating right now. Yet they still charge full price and make a stink about one wristband. Ya screw this place. Spend your money somewhere a bit more professional, better kept up and kinder.

Fishing charter
HI-TECH Sport Fishing Charters is a family-run charter known for its fantastic hosts, Brian and Misty, who are knowledgeable about the waters. The cabin inside the boat provides a comfortable and homely feel. Guests have enjoyed catching Cohos within minutes of casting and appreciate Captain Brian's expertise in finding hot spots. Despite weather and water clarity challenges, the crew adapts to ensure a successful fishing experience, resulting in more fish than expected.
Great family run charter, (Hi Tech) Brian and Misty were fantastic hosts - clearly knew the waters very well. We had a group of 4 and were catching our first Cohos in the first 10 minutes of casting. The cabin inside the boat was great - felt like home. Best part was when all four of us had fish on at the same time. We got to our limit a little bit less than 4 hours in - the time went so fast as Brian was an expert at getting us back to all the hot spots. In fact, he did so well that the other charters were following us to get in on the action. From our conversation, it sounded like this was pretty common for Brian and Misty. I’d highly recommend booking with Hi Tech. Small outfit, but Brian has been on the lake for years and knows what he’s doing. I’ll let the pictures we took do the talking for my review.
Brian H — Google review
Brian and Mysti are great at what they do and good people! Very knowledgeable and treat you as family. We had an awesome time. With some weather issues and water clarity problems Captian Brian and 1st Mate Mysti kept changing things up and looking for good fish. We ended up with more fish then ever expected and some good memories! Thank you Brian and Mysti for the great experience and never giving up! Definitely will be coming back!
Cody Z — Google review
I’ve been on other charters. This is the second time we’ve gone with Hi Tech. Both times we caught our limit and brought in sizable salmon and trout. These folks truly work for you. All the experience and knowledge they have is incredible. Our boys had an experience of a lifetime. Plus…..if you’re looking for a spotless vessel, these are your people. Do yourself a favor and book with Hi Tech.
Jamie K — Google review
Brian and Misty were great! They were super knowledgeable and were able to answer all of our questions. We had a great time and will definitely book with them again if we are in the area! I would highly recommend their charter to anyone looking to fish on Lake Michigan.
Nicole H — Google review
High class experience for a reasonable price. Captain Bryan and his wife Misty were great hosts. They were friendly, accommodating, and best of all found us a plethora of fish to catch. We have gone with them a few times and will continue to use their charter services. Would highly recommend. You won't regret it.
Zach V — Google review
Hi Tech fishing charters is awesome. They are the real deal. Bryan and Misty take great pride in their business. They have up to date equipment and a huge boat. We have gone two years in a row and can’t wait to go back next year. They put fish in the cooler. Thank you guys. Shawn and Tara Rafftery.

Best Secret of the Midwest! Sailing lessons for all ages. We took adult sailing last summer with friends - and made new ones too. The instructors were patient and helpful with those of us who had never sailed. We learned by doing from Day 1 and enjoyed beautiful evenings on the lake too. Highly recommend this adventure for all ages and for the summer membership to the Yacht Club - great place to stop after our time at sea. :)

Guests appreciate the laid-back personality of the guides and enjoy capturing great pictures during the tour. Overall, it's a worthwhile and fun experience for anyone looking to explore Sheboygan in a unique way.
Nick was our guide. He was great! He was patient is showing us how to ride the Segway. Gave us practice time. It was a gorgeous day and he took us all over town. Stopped several times to describe something and to take our picture. It was just my husband and I. I highly recommend the tour and Nick
Sue T — Google review
We had a fun tour with Nick as our guide. He was very kind and patient training 5 of us ladies who are 55+! We got the hang of it pretty quickly and enjoyed our tour. Wish the weather had been warmer and less windy, but that seems to be the way this spring has gone so far. Beautiful scenery as we made our way along the river and lakefront. Highly recommend!

We had the best time with our guide Marcus. We were a party of four (two couples). He made sure we felt comfortable before taking off on our wheels and gave an excellent tour of Sheboygan. It’s such a pretty area and the riding along the lake will be forever memorable. He took great pictures and enjoyed his laid back personality. What a great first experience!

Very nice experience riding the scooters around the city. Had 2 tours with the owner of this company in consecutive 2 days. The guide is pretty knowledgeable about historical attractions and interesting places about the city, and he is very friendly. Overall a great experience!

They canceled our tour with just a few hours notice. Offered to schedule something the next day, but the contact was not prompt with replying, especially considering the very short turnaround time. We had already made other plans by the time they got back to us. It was all very disappointing, because I really wanted to go. So I obviously can't comment on the actual tour, because there wasn't one.

Kohler-Andrae State Park is a stunning park in Wisconsin that boasts beaches, sand dunes, and hiking trails. It also offers campsites and a nature center for visitors to enjoy. Located conveniently off freeway 43 and not too far from Milwaukee metro area, it is an ideal destination for nature lovers seeking some peace and tranquility away from the city hubbub.
A hidden gem in Wisconsin! This place is absolutely stunning — you get to enjoy both sand dunes and Lake Michigan at the same time. The beauty of the natural surroundings is truly breathtaking. In the summer, the sand can get extremely hot, but they’ve built boardwalks that make walking much easier and more enjoyable. One important thing to note: there’s poison ivy in some areas, so be sure to stay on marked trails and avoid restricted spots. Also, don’t miss the nature center — it’s really well done and definitely worth a visit!
Hyeri Y — Google review
🌳 A Pleasant State Park Escape This state park offers a surprisingly relaxing beach experience, even when it’s packed—there’s a lot of space for everyone to spread out. The sand is fine and soft, though the water is frigid and occasionally affected by seasonal issues like allergens and a few dead fish. The boardwalk trails looked inviting and well-kept. Overall, the park is clean and thoughtfully maintained, though it can get busy and parking lots fill up quickly. 💵 Entrance is $12 with a Wisconsin plate.
Meng T — Google review
This park is absolutely beautiful, offering a perfect mix of dunes, beach, and forest. The beach is stunning, the dunes are unique, and there are plenty of great camping spots with clean wash facilities. It was a wonderful experience. Wildlife is abundant, and there’s so much natural beauty to take in. The campground is very clean, and the bathrooms and sites are well maintained. Staff and nature center guides are friendly and helpful. A truly scenic and diverse park — highly recommended for nature lovers, campers, and hikers alike!
Kunal C — Google review
Quite possibly the state park with the best beach in Wisconsin, with miles of open sandy beach. There are multiple parking lots, with a cordwalk trail connecting them all. This state park is a delight for beach goers, as well as hikers, with some stunning views of Lake Michigan all along the trail. There is a nature centre at the North Parking lot, with a couple of restrooms, and a small gift shop. State park stickers are needed for entry, and there are also plenty of campgrounds available for booking.
Karan A — Google review
Stopped by the beach on an 85 degree day in late September. The water was chilly as expected, but the beach was beautiful. There was plentiful parking this time of year and was a great way to soak up a last bit of summer. As an aside, the family camped here about a year ago and the kids have been begging to go back. The sites feel secluded and having the beach and cordwalk right there is a big bonus.
Joshua O — Google review
Showers bathrooms are great. Toilets are low , need to be re -fitted for a taller population. They have shaded electric spots for tents. Just a few . Only draw back is locals use it a lot. HARD to get a campsite. Most worked for Kohler.
S S — Google review
Beautiful landscape, but enormous pressure on this state park with so many visitors. Pit toilets were very gross and I am not sure why they are not cleaned. Very disturbing treatment at the office, while all we asked for was a map. Had this person lost their voice??? We had booked the last site available which should be taken off the map, too much in traffic and hardly any vegetation around. Not the state park nature experience we were looking for.

Blue Harbor Resort and Conference Center Water Park in Sheboygan, Wisconsin is a modern resort offering a variety of amenities for guests. The Breaker Bay Indoor Waterpark provides family fun, while the Reflections Spa offers relaxation and pampering. Guests can also enjoy dining options on site and take in views of Lake Michigan from the lakeside patio. Additionally, the resort features mini-golf, festivals, and access to Sheboygan's South Beach.
We had a fantastic stay at Blue Harbor Resort! Check-in was a breeze, and we were pleasantly surprised to have someone help us unload and bring our bags up to our room — such a great start! We stayed in a lake view family suite, which was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. Later in the day, we ordered two non-alcoholic drinks and the bartender insisted they were on the house — such a kind gesture! The waterpark was clean, fun, and well-run. We were especially impressed by how seriously the staff took safety; we even witnessed a lifeguard drill, which gave us extra peace of mind. The beach is just a 30-second walk from the resort, and in the evening they had bonfires and yard games, which made for a perfect end to the day. I would 100% recommend Blue Harbor to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to come back!
Corey — Google review
Beautiful place and we really enjoyed our stay! My one plea would be that the management make the doors from the lobby to the lakefront more open, accessible, and welcoming to guests. We felt like we were sneaking around to get to the water -- which was the whole reason we chose to stay here!
Madeline J — Google review
We enjoyed our stay in the resort. Good room, large variety of food, water park was no crowded and easy to access the different amenities. Beautiful scenery of the lake in fall. The Halloween event was very nice, and my kids enjoyed everything.
Cinemadicto L — Google review
Rooms were wonderful, the staff is very pleasant, service is great, and the water park is enjoyable and clean. We had the lake view room, and it was magnificent. The only downside was that my tenderloin was medium, note medium rare so very tough. The mashed potatoes should have been more embellished with garlic or butter, or something. And the same with the Brussel sprouts, with a little more cook time. My husband's (all you can eat perch) was a one piece charred fillet. But for us, it's a learning curve, and won't stop us from a return trip. Thankyou!
Deborah B — Google review
Amazing view, great hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, fun bunk beds… cool outdoor amenities. All around great. The water park was small but good enough for little kids to do a few days in a row- and that surfing thing was amazing- so not really a problem as long as you know that going in. My only real negative was the breakfast buffet was overpriced and not very good— they offer what is usually included for free continental but with a charge of $18+ per plate and drinks not even included and they didn’t even let us sit by the window when there were about 4 empty tables against the window. Still not sure why they said no. If you’re going to charge for breakfast, it needs to be top tier. It’s not technically part of the stay so I didn’t include it in my total score. Everything else was amazing.
Joshua P — Google review
Can't really review this resort. All I did was walk around the outside. It has beautiful grounds. There are some fun little restaurants and an ice cream shop near the property as well. Beautiful harbor views.

review just on booking experience (rooms have been fine in previous stays!) our reservation was over 10 days out and I seen the price dropped from originally booking. when speaking with Ashley in reservations she could see the originally booked reservation and the one I started with the cheaper price. after a long hold of her checking on things they do not price adjust bc "our room rates change daily so we dont adjust prices". ashley states i would nees to cancel my reservation and re book the room. I asked if she could do that while we are on the phone since my original reservation had a gift card and online you can not enter gift cards you have to call in. ashely stated she could only cancel and I had to book online... so, we hung up only for me to call reservations back and get ashley again saying "yes there isnt a way to add gift cards online". I was annoyed at this point and told her "you just told me that you could not cancel and re book my reservation and I had to do it online" to which she didnt respond to me. ashely completed the re booking at a cheaper price (even after having to pay their cancelation fee) and only partly applied the gift card. I asked her to apply the full gift card onto my reservation and she told me I could do that at check in and I once again said "can you please apply the full gift card balance onto my reservation like the first booking had". she then applied it and stated "you will need to bring the gift cards to check-in in case there are any issues". I have stayed at many water park hotels in the state and not one has made me cancel and rebook when there is a cheaper price; they simply price adjust.

I've come here for the past 2 years for a Women's conference during my birthday, and I absolutely loved it here. Truly amazing. It's difficult to truly grasp the size of the Acuity American flag and flag pole. The best way to experience it is to read all the statistics, walk up to the base of the pole and look up and then spend a little time walking the beautiful grounds and viewing from a distance. Brochures with interesting facts and information are provided free.

We didn't plan to stop here but saw it along our travels over Memorial Day. What a great informative stop. The flag is amazing. You don't realize how big it is until you stand under it. Loved the information board and take home booklets. We gave a set of booklets to our father who is a veteran and can't get around much anymore. This was a great place to bring our kids over the holiday weekend.

If you are driving by this amazing flag display, take a little time to visit the installation. It's a memorial to the Sheboygan veterans who paid the ultimate price for freedom. The flag is 70' x 140' and weighs 250 pounds. The video I posted is not slow motion, that's how a flag that big waves.
Gerald E — Google review
Always drove past and never stopped until today to show some friends from the UK. I was impressed with how large it is in person and the area is beautifully maintained. They were mowing the lawn while we were there and it’s got a cute pond with benches for sitting. All around very cute spot and peaceful for a leg stretch during a road trip!
Sophia F — Google review
Love the fact cards available for visitors to take and have information at their fingertips! I grabbed two so that I can share one with a teacher. The grounds surrounding the site were beautiful. There were benches near the water, but we had to walk through so much poo to get to them. Would be nice if there was at least a path to them, an extension of the path around the flag and pole. After reading the care and maintenance, it’s obvious that it requires the support of several people. T was a noticeable hole in the flag, so I wish there was a place at the site to leave feedback such as a QR code to email someone right away.

The world's largest symbol of freedom (the American Flag), is a fantastic place to visit and reflect upon why it's here. Acuity Insurance provides the public with a nice parking lot and benches to reflect upon the flag. As an added bonus, there is a nice park area with a pond next to the flag. An information board has some literature you can read near the flag as well. Access to the flag is easy to find. They have an entrance on the north side of Taylor Drive. The flag may be down if the weather is poor or there are strong winds.
Adam H — Google review
Drove past(southbound) in 2021 from vacation and saw the pole from a distance away but no flag. Included it on drive to vacation (july2022) and it was up! Definitely worth a trip if in the area. It truly is remarkable the size of the flagpole and flag. We saw it from 4+ miles away headed northbound.
