Nestled at the base of the stunning Adirondack Mountains, West Mountain is a renowned 125-acre ski resort offering a plethora of outdoor activities. With 32 trails catering to all skill levels, from beginners to expert skiers and snowboarders, as well as a tubing park with five chutes, it's an ideal winter destination. The resort also features a pro shop and bar/eatery for après-ski relaxation.
Amazing place for those who love skiing. Or even for those who want to learn, they have an incredible structure, with practical classes with incredible prices, and phenomenal structure, and they also have a wonderful bar and restaurant, and if you prefer you can take your food that still has a place to store. Really fantastic the whole structure.
Gilmaro B — Google review
Awesome spot for families and beginners! West Mountain is perfect for snow tubing and learning to ski. The tubing lanes are fast and fun, and the magic carpet makes it super easy to keep going. The beginner ski slopes were wide and not intimidating. Great experience all around!

What an amazing experience! West Mountain clearly outshines the rest when it comes to their fall fest. So many diverse vendors, we were able to find something for the whole family. Plenty of activities for the kids to do with free yard games and unlimited bouce house runs for 5 dollars which also comes with a pumpkin to paint. The staff are top notch could not ask to have been greated by friendly people and very helpful in explaining everhtbing they have to offer. Ran out of time the first day, coming back for a second.
Adam — Google review
My kids love skiing here! Great programs and well maintained. They also allowed a client of mine to take his Senior Portraits at this location.
Angel W — Google review
This is a small, local feeling ski mountain with some decent trails and good mountain operations. West Mountain is a great spot for learning how to ski or getting in some good night skiing. The trails are always groomed to perfection, and they have a bunch of little side trails and jumps. They also have a great ropes course and a very cozy lodge. However, the snow making could be a little better, conditions aren't always the best, there are some unexpected ice patches, and the lifts aren't the best, as they are slow and sometimes see some breakdowns. Negatives put aside, this is still a very good mountain with plenty of great stuff to do. I recommend going here whether it be for some nice skiing or summer activities!
Lucas ル — Google review
A beautiful mountain with a fantastic group of people. Our family of seven chose the chairlift ride to the summit with the picnic lunch . A couple of our riders had never been on a chairlift before, and the team was super patient and accommodating . The lunch was above par!! we hiked the 8/10th of a mile loop at the top to the Crows nest. Everyone thought it was well worth it.
Corey H — Google review
We did the picnic luncheon and had an excellent experience. Very nice employees, beautiful views and a great lunch!

Who knew there was a ski mountain so close to lake George? Now I do. This was a terrific family ski area. To be honest we only ended up going here because we snoozed and Gore mountain tix sold out president day weekend. But we didn’t feel bad. This place was great for my 4 year old! Who struggled down the bunny slope. But loved the tubing. I recommend reserving everything as far in advance as possible. I only found out there was another lodger/side of the mountain after I left.

The Hyde Collection is a captivating museum housed in a 1912 American Renaissance mansion, offering a blend of heritage and art. The permanent collection features remarkable decorative arts, antique furnishings, and masterpieces by renowned artists like da Vinci, Rubens, Rembrandt, Picasso, Whistler, and Homer. Additionally, the museum hosts changing world-class exhibitions in its modern art gallery spaces. Visitors can explore the historic house alongside its impressive art collection and antique furniture.
A not big house museum with a permanent private collection and temporary exhibitions, which are created with special taste. The space of the house itself is very interesting, in the collection of paintings you will find the most famous artists of the world
Anastasiya K — Google review
Art Lovers!!! We visited the Hyde museum last week. It was wonderful! The carefully preserved home graced with antiquities and famous art is one of the best, if not the best, collection that I have ever experienced in a private setting. Don't miss it if you are near Glens Falls NY.
Linda B — Google review
Lovely museum with so much to see! Watch the video on the buildings and family first then tour the house to see the collection. We got in free with a pass we borrowed from the library.

Beautiful hidden gem of a museum/gallery, they even had an art room with an activity going on for the kids right when we arrived, so glad we found out about this place and stopped by

Great museum with amazing artwork and furnishings of historic home. Architecture is beautiful, staff friendly and so many fantastic exhibits. Worth more than one visit, displays change periodically. Beautiful place, hidden gem in Glens Falls, very unexpected surprise.

A Hidden Gem for Art Lovers – The Hyde Museum I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Hyde Museum, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! Nestled in a beautiful setting, the museum is a true gem for both art enthusiasts and those who simply appreciate great culture. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the diverse collection of art on display. The Hyde Museum beautifully blends classic and contemporary works, offering something for everyone. Whether you're drawn to the intricate pieces from various historical periods or more modern and avant-garde works, there's a perfect balance of old and new. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, and each piece tells a compelling story. What really stands out about the Hyde Museum, though, is its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to share insights about the collections. They truly made the experience more engaging and personal. The museum also offers a variety of engaging events, which makes it a perfect destination for multiple visits. The building itself is stunning, with spacious galleries and plenty of natural light. It’s easy to lose track of time as you stroll through the rooms, completely immersed in the art and the environment. Plus, the surrounding grounds are peaceful and perfect for a reflective walk after your tour. If you're in the area or even if you’re not, I highly recommend a visit to the Hyde Museum. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy exceptional art and learn something new. A true cultural treasure!

The Hyde Collection is home to incredible works of art in a beautiful setting. The museum is very family-fruendly and we enjoy all their local events to make art accessible to the community while supporting other local businesses.
Beth B — Google review
The Hyde Collection is an outstanding museum in the city of Glens Falls. The museum is home to over 5,000 works of art and has many exhibitions a year. The museum includes the Gilded Age mansion of Charlotte and Louis Hyde. The mansion is beautiful and features the works of many great artists. Artists whose works are displayed in the museum include Botticelli, Rembrandt, El Greco, Seurat, Degas, Renoir, Rubens, and Picasso. Great works of art from the Middle Ages all the way to contemporary American art are presented. The artworks, historic furniture, and pleasing decorations give the mansion a certain charm that is not matched by others. Don’t miss the tapestries that are on display. The Hyde offers a rare chance to see a real Gilded Age home complete with great works of art. The audio tour for the mansion is very informative and easy to use. The also offers tours of the mansion presented by a docent, if you’re interested. The Hyde presents many traveling exhibits as well. Currently, they have a wonderful exhibit on Degas. There is also a collection of photographs and sounds of the inner earth by Ron Jude exhibition which has to be seen and heard. The Hyde is a small museum which presents the works of great artists whose works are often displayed in much larger museums. It is easily the area’s best museum. Do yourself a favor and stop in to see the Hyde Collection.

The Chapman Museum, located in Glens Falls, is a charming museum that offers insights into the history of the Glens Falls Queensbury community and its ties to the Adirondack area. The museum features the historic DeLong House and showcases a variety of exhibits, artifacts, archival materials, photographs, and more. Visitors can explore different time periods through hands-on artifacts such as a 1920s radio, record players, silverware, TV sets, and Nintendo items.
It's the best museum for children to show old things. A lot of exhibits are allowed to touch and you can try to use them. We loved this museum! Feeling like we were at time machine journey.
Olesya P — Google review
Pretty cool little museum with many exhibits. One section of the museum was the DeLong family, filled with many hands-on things for children. It was interesting to learn more about Glens Falls area, the making of maps, the Adirondack artist, a lot of pretty cool things.
Theresa J — Google review
It is a very nice place. It is small, but does a good job of involving children in the history. Each room has something they can touch and play with related to what is on the walls and artifacts. There are signs that say, "You can touch this, but please don't touch exhibits on the wall." It is a proactive approach and gives life to each room and what they are trying to show. Not a big place, and it's also not a big price. Well worth $5 and free under 12. Kids 8-11 who like to explore the way things were would get it. Not sizzle, but good steak.
John M — Google review
The Chapman Museum in Glens Falls is a great little museum depicting the history of the greater Glens Falls region. One part of the museum is the house of the DeLong family. This part of the museum contains many artifacts from different time periods ranging from the early 20th century to the late 20th century. Some of these items include a 1920's radio, record players, silverware, TV, and Nintendo. Most of these items are hands on and they encourage you to touch the items. The other part of the museum contains galleries displaying local history. There is a telephone switchboard from the 1960's, sewing machines, farm equipment, carriage, and time clock. There are also a few items from local factories. The other gallery depicts rotating exhibits of local interest. As of the writing of this it was a photo gallery for the works of Adirondack photographer Seneca Ray Stoddard. Staff is very friendly and gift shop has a great selection of local books, posters, and memorabilia. If you are from the area definitely worth a look.
Ryan M — Google review
Small interactive museum, really enjoyed the current exhibit on personal effects, guess what this item was used for, women in the work place, and sitting thumbing through old Glens Falls High school yearbooks. I am glad we are more politically in 2019! They have a great collection of books for sale and love seeing all the local authors books available! The $5 admission is certainly a great trade for your couple of hours of entertainment!
Beth H — Google review
Fun and interesting. I was able to use a typewriter, which was very interesting. Also educational, my family did not even know what some of the items were.
Isabella G — Google review
Nice small museum on the history of Glens Falls. Staff was friendly

The Chapman hosts the traditional house museum, but they also research local history & put up small, rotating exhibits throughout the year. There is always something new. Lectures, oral histories, storytelling, downtown & Cemetery walking tours also.

Lake George Lanes & Games is a top-notch bowling alley in New York State, featuring modern lanes with error-free scoring and DirectTV at each lane. On weekends, visitors can enjoy Galactic Bowling with special lighting and prizes. This facility also offers an arcade, indoor playground, laser tag, and a bar and grill for a full day of entertainment. It's a clean and welcoming place where both adults and kids can have a great time bowling or enjoying other activities.
I've been here a few times and recently had my son's birthday party here for the first time. I was a tiny bit nervous that you couldn't book online, they didn't do a confirmation call to get a final headcount, and otherwise didn't seem to run birthday parties like a well oiled machine like The Fun Spot or Sky Zone. BUT. The day of, everything was perfect. Our go-to party person (Olivia?) was AMAZING with her communication, support, and professionalism. These things can be stressful for parents and she made the whole thing run seamlessly. Birthday aside, they have a nice assortment of things to do with bowling, arcade, laser tag, indoor playground, and bar area.
Erin N — Google review
Lake George Lanes & Games is a nice small bowling alley in Lake George, NY. Stopped in for open bowling and the lanes were well oiled and taken care of. Altogether, they have 24 lanes. They do rent shoes and have house bowling balls. There is a medium sized arcade inside the alley as well. There is also a snack bar, restaurant, and bar in the alley as well. During open bowling it was easy to get a lane. Conveniently, located on Canada Street it is near many other Lake George fun spots. If you’re in Lake George add this as another place to have fun.
Ryan M — Google review
We went with our two small kids (3 and 6). They both had a blast. The indoor playground was clean and lots of fun for both of them. We played a lot of games in the arcade, the games were a great value and there is a good variety. After that we took in a round of bowling. They had a good assortment of balls for our kids and us. They had several of the bowling assist devices (including one that looks like a dinos tail) and automatic bumpers that we set up for the kids. Lastly we did one round of laser tag. Just a note that in order to play the kiddos have to be able to see over the counter (which is totally fair). Our youngest is too young to play but they allowed him to follow us around while playing. We managed to get a game right before a big party with just the four of us in it, which was lots of fun. All in all a very fun afternoon, great value, and a great place!
Jeffrey P — Google review
Had a great time! I really enjoyed the setup of the sitting area for the lanes. The machine to put names in wasnt working properly, but the girl behind the counter was very helpful. Just wish we were told about the ongoing alien game when we paid and got our shoes... we would have won had we known what everyone was doing, my husband had the last strike before they ended the game. We'll definitely be back.
Monica V — Google review
Hello, I recently booked an hour of playtime at your facility, but unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. The snowboard boots I received were very old and worn out, and the boards were covered with too much powder, which made it hard to maintain balance. I nearly fell several times and had to stop playing after just 30 minutes for my own safety. When I raised my concerns, I was told I should not be without boots, but the real issue was the poor condition of the boots and the powder-covered boards. Unfortunately, my money was completely wasted, as I didn’t receive the quality service I paid for. If this continues, I’m sure many people will leave the track before their full time ends. That might be profitable for your business, I don’t know—but it is certainly not fair or professional. I would also like to mention that I have years of experience in clinical/sports games like this, and I’m fully familiar with the rules, safety standards, and how things should work. So I speak from knowledge and experience. Please take this matter seriously and improve conditions for future guests. Sincerely.

Last month, while up visiting family, my husband and I wanted a couple nights out by ourselves with my parents watching our kid. We've bowled before sporadically, but Lake George Lanes & Games seemed like something fun we could do by ourselves. and boy were we right!! Throughout our stay in Lake George, I believe we went bowling here 5 times. And each time had an absolutely awesome time. The location is extremely clean, the employees are kind and helpful, and overall it had a wonderful vibe. We will definitely be back next year!
Alison D — Google review
Front desk staff is abrasive and kurt. No customer service skills. Only rule enforcement and lip service. The manager was a complete Karen and the small blonde girl had an attitude bigger than herself when she spoke to me. They required we pay ahead of time to bowl and we came in 75 mins prior to closing being unsure about what we could fit in. We were told we could fit 2 games in (great) but as soon as it was passed closing, the staff acted like it was our fault by staring at us, shutting off the music as well as the AC. Our party of 6 cleaned our lanes and tables spotlessly and even put away all the balls. Just mean stares. Not a thank you. Not a smile. Terrible attitudes most especially in a vacation town.
Elizabeth I — Google review
This place is huge and have so many games. They have bowling , laser tags , other games too. Bowling has many lanes and it's clean and fun. Laser tag has 10 mins of duration and it was much fun. Food was okay, you can get beer. Parking was ample. Timings are long hours so you can go there and have fun. Staff was good and humble. Cleanliness - good Washroom available. They should add Foosball too. That will be a good addition.

Fort William Henry Museum, originally constructed in 1755, is a legendary British fort that played a significant role in the French and Indian War. The museum offers two tour options: a general history tour where visitors can learn about the area's history and interact with costumed reenactors, and a ghost tour featuring spooky sights and stories of supernatural encounters.
It was a great recreation of the original fort. It has a lot of great exhibits. Living historians there to give you demonstrations and information. Very great detail throughout the entire fort. Explaining living conditions, hospital care, and the different jobs others would complete throughout their time there.
Ryan J — Google review
Drop into and experience 1755. The Tour Guides are very knowledgeable and have a good wit. For accessibility there are some areas that are difficult to traverse and some buildings that have stairs only access. I did not feel as though I missed out on anything during my visit. They do have a staff operated outdoor elevator so those in wheelchairs can access the fort walls. You're ticket is good for 2 days so you have plenty of time to explore.
Landon M — Google review
One of the best forts I have ever been to. Just visited this place as a spur of the moment visit while traveling through back home from Maine to Ohio. This place does not disappoint. The guides who also do reenactments and demonstrations were very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. Would love to go back someday.
Missy M — Google review
Really enjoyed our time there. The tour was really interesting and we loved the musket and cannon demos. Very unique. We went in Oct and the backdrop of the fall leaves… it was breathtaking. Highly recommend.
Amy L — Google review
We did the haunted tour. Very informative. The guides were great, funny, and told spooky stories. They even gave the option to be in the basement with the lights out. Definitely recommend if you're into history and/or the paranormal!
Jessica H — Google review
What a wonderful experience! All ages in our group of 6 and we loved it here. From the stories told on the guided tour to the cannon demonstration. I could not find one thing to say wrong about this place. We learned so much as well. Also if you are a fan of the last of the mohcans you would also be a fan of this stop on you trip to the lake or village.

I love old forts and historical places this is one. Nice quiet day good staff good service great time beautiful location great view a little pricey but I loved it old style dress and reenactment history tours lots of information on the time period and fort history and friendly staff good verity of historical artifacts and with fort ticonderoga north of lake George

If you enjoy American History and/or the story (&movie), Last of the Mohegans, put this on your To Do list. Our guide was engaging and fun. He and his Captain were very informative. This is the fort from the book/movie. Purely historical. No elevators. When we went, the buildings were so hot. (No ac in 1755).

Lake George Expedition Park is a charming retro kiddie park that offers a variety of fun and whimsical rides, a charming steam train through the woods, storybook displays, and play areas for children of all ages. The park features Dino Roar Valley trail with life-size dinosaur models, dino nests, fossil dig sites, and stage shows.
Great place to bring younger kids, but not really teens. The rides are made small & very eclectic of the 1950s when this was Magic Forest. The dinosaurs are very cool, they move & roar, even though they blinked too much. The snack bar was reasonably priced compared to many of the other attractions in the area, but again the food is catering to children. There is also an amazing wood sculpture!
Nathan J — Google review
We visited Expedition Park on a field trip for my son’s preschool a few weeks ago. It was small for an amusement park but was just the perfect size for our 2.5 year old to explore everything! He loved the toddler friendly rides and we all loved walking through the forest to see the dinosaurs. The little town with the school, firehouse, church, etc. was also adorable and fun to check out. Great for families of young children!
Meghan M — Google review
Great Experience at Lake George Expedition Park! We had a wonderful time at Lake George Expedition Park! The Dino Land section was super fun and very kid-friendly, with plenty of rides that are perfect for young children. The realistic dinosaur displays make the park feel natural and immersive. There’s lots of seating, clean restrooms, and nice gift shops to explore. The staff was friendly, and the park was clean and well-maintained throughout. Luckily, all the rides were included in the ticket price, which made the day flow smoothly without extra charges at every corner. They also offer gem mining and magic shows for an additional cost if you’re looking for extra activities. Only downside: the cost of admission—$39.99 per person for ages 2 and up. We paid about $170 for 2 adults and 2 kids (our infant was free). A bit pricey, but overall worth it for a fun and memorable family day. Definitely recommend for a one-time visit—the kids will have a blast!
Syed — Google review
A nice old fashioned park. Lots of shade, places to sit. A great deal for $40/person- the rides are all free. We were here from 10:30-3pm. Magic show at 11, 1 and 3. Fun for kids probably ages 3-10.
Jennifer L — Google review
This place is a hidden gem that has all the nostalgia of the days of circuses and steel made amusement rides built to last!! It says small town love of fun written all over each detail from the Hansel and Gretel style buildings to the one man magic show to rides like the scrambler and the whip!! It was our first visit to the magic forest and the roar valley included in ticket no need for bracelets or extra tickets for rides, everything included. We loved the no lines and had some rides to ourselves we even got to ride a couple times in a row. This place has something for everyone young and old!! Parking lot is huge and no fee to park, and they had many different food options as they can with every to kids like. My son is 9 and he loved it here! Westayed for 3.5 hours!! Highly recommend as it’s perfect for families and not the giant place like a six flags much more home feel here.
Christina D — Google review
A good price for 3 year old daughter and almost 4 year old niece. They had a BLAST!!! They loved pretty much every ride. Would definitely recommend it! Not much of a wait, if any for the rides. They enjoyed the Magic show too and the food prices are pretty good! The bathroom had a ramp, but it was a little steep so not sure how someone in a wheelchair would do.
Sarah G — Google review
My son is obsessed with dinosaurs . This was a hit for us ,along with the rides ! We go every year. It's a small parks so rides aren't far away from each other but the Dino part is definitely a walk ! We shared French fries that were great ! My son's favorite "ride" was the slide ! I only give it three stars because the ride workers do not seem happy to be there , no smiles at all besides a few .
Julia B — Google review
Today, we visited the Lake George Expedition Park. The first thing I noticed is that the ticket price on Google is $26.75 per person. However, we were surprised to find it was actually $39.99 a person. This resulted in spending an extra $70 to enter that we were not planning on. My daughter was thrilled that they offered her a birthday pin so that everyone in the park would know it wad her birthday. When I visited the park back in 2019, it desperately needed work. The rides were all in rough shape, half of them were closed due to not enough staff, and the dinosaur valley part of the park was an additional cost. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the park had made some upgrades, including a new roller coaster ride, and thay the park admission included both areas of the park. I did have concerns over the fact that some of the ride attendants were not checking to make sure children or parents had secured themselves properly. When speaking with another attendant who I later learned was head of safety.. he shared that that was actually a requirement that attendants could not lift a child onto a ride, but we're expected to be checking that they were properly secured. Dino Roar Valley was a blast. The kids enjoyed getting to see all the animated dinos. I only knocked it down 1 star due to the ticket price not being accurate and the attendants not checking that children were properly secured **this was not all attendants** Overall, my children had a blast, and we would definitely go back!

Cool Insuring Arena is a small but underrated venue that has hosted big bands like Ghost, Breaking Benjamin, and Godsmack. The arena offers great sight lines for hockey games and a variety of food choices at reasonable prices. It's easy to navigate and get tickets through Seat Geek, with local craft beers available at the concessions. While some attendees were disappointed by unclear VIP seating information, overall it's recommended as a nice place to catch a show or game in the small city.
The sales team is amazing! Zach was a great help and worked around my schedule to help me purchase a flex pass. We’re so lucky to have the hockey team in glens falls and a great group of people who support the community.

Awesome venue! 👏🏻 loved the location next to a lot of food options, and my hotel was a very short distance from here. The event I was attending was rather large and the parking was an absolute nightmare, unfortunately. If the issue could be resolved I’m sure a lot more would attend events here. I don’t see how it could be fixed. They served the Cutwater Spirits Margaritas- which is killer. The food was…. OK. I’ll definitely be back! Thanks 🙏🏻

Very nice small city arena! Sight lines for hockey games are great from all points in the arena. Not a bad seat in the house! Concessions offer many different food choices for a reasonable price. Local craft beers are offered. Easy to walk around. Easy to get tickets through Seat Geek website and app. Tickets are usually available at the box office for hockey games. Check parking map on website before going. Many lots available around the city. Great history to this arena as it was home to the Adirondack Red Wings for several years in the 80's and 90's. Also, a hosted a memorable Siena Saints NIT basketball game, and a BYU basketball game. Descent concert venue as well.

Decent concert venue. The sound was pretty decent for an ice arena. Super convenient location downtown, close to lots of restaurants. Easy in and out. Overall a positive experience.

I have only been to one show at Cool Insuring Arena, and that was Ghost and Nothing More back in 2019. I actually think this venue is very underrated. It’s such a small arena, but allows for somewhat big bands to play. Seeing ghost play their was amazing! I know Breaking Benjamin and Godsmack have also played their in the past aswell. I just wish they would host more concerts! I haven’t seen any concert announcements from them this year and I really hope they come out with some banger announcements for bands. The event staff was super helpful and the merch stations moved efficiently. The arena was really nice, we had seats and I truly don’t think there’s a bad seat in the whole arena. I highly recommend the venue, but I just hope they have more concerts here in the future.
PoisonRadiant7 — Google review
Complete debacle trying get into the show on 11-13-22. The line wrapped around the building, zero signage so no one knew we were in the wrong line. Once we made it to correct line it didn't move for 35 minutes and half the ticket holders missed the first few songs. It was amateur hour, like they had never held a concert before. Unacceptable!!
Nathan G — Google review
Decided to get a flex plan for the Adirondack Thunder hockey team that plays here - it was a good choice. Great sightlines from any seat in the arena. A little tight to walk the concourse between periods but while the game is occurring its a fine arena.

The World Awareness Children's Museum is a vibrant cultural experience for families and children, offering hands-on activities that allow visitors to explore different cultures from around the world. With over 3,000 international artifacts and 6,000 pieces of children's art from 65 countries, the museum provides an immersive learning environment. While currently undergoing renovations at its new location on Warren Street, the museum continues to offer interactive exhibits and free family fun days in Glens Falls as well as outreach exchange programs.
I felt like this museum was a hidden treasure in the heart of Glens Falls. I had driven by it so many times and finally decided to stop in. Even though it is a place geared towards children and many different cultures of interest, there were moms and dads wandering through the rooms enjoying the same things their young ones were. I thought the place was interactive, children there were very well behaved and everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful with my questions. I loved it here.

Wonderful and fun way to experience other cultures. We also attended story time and did a craft!

We absolutely adore the World Awareness Children’s Museum! It’s incredibly well curated and offers a lot, especially for our little town. Each room is a different theme/culture. There are beautiful, authentic decorations and artifacts for the older kids to admire and read about, plus everything for the kiddos to play with is appropriate and well maintained. It’s not too overstimulating, and there’s plenty for little learners to do. Trains, tea parties, musical instruments, puzzles, stacking and sorting, play kitchen, etc. plus an arts and crafts room with lots of open ended projects.
Kelsey M — Google review
First time being- enjoyed it very much. Hands on, which my boys love. Different little play areas, you get to learn a lot while playing also.

We are Canadian tourists and came here for the long weekend. I was searchong some activities for lil ones so I got bumped in here. Reviews were excellent so I told to my friend let's try this one. Eventhough we had only 45 mins left before closing we still went in just to have the kids have something to do. As soon as we got in, kids were so excited, explored every activities in the museum. They learned different cultures and enjoyed a lot. Definitely worth bringing the kids in here!!
MJS S — Google review
Our kids loved it here! The customer service is great and there is so much for the kids to do and explore. Each area has a different culture of the world and has play activities that any kid will enjoy. This a unique experience for the children and the parents alike! We will return!

I took 5 of our children (8 Mo. - 9 years) here for a fun day out. I think our 9 year old is at the top of the age range who will enjoy it there unless you have an older kid who actually wanted to read about all the different countries and read the books they have there. There was only a few other people there when we went. It is one big room with different areas sectioned off to focus on different countries. We stayed about two hours and the kids weren’t bored yet, but we needed lunch. They had a great time and the staff was very friendly. Definitely recommend this museum.
Evan B — Google review
Cute little play place for the kids. While it's called a museum, it's more of a large place house for kids. Lots of dress up, kitchenettes, musical instruments, and even a fishing area. Very creative use of "discarded items" to build small areas of the world for the kids to "visit." Not a place I would travel more than 45min to see, but definitely cute for locals. Can't beat the price either ($5/person with discounts available). Just beware, the only parking is on the street, the lot next door will get you towed.

Located in Lake George, NY, The Candy Space is a unique and interactive candy store that offers an out-of-this-world experience. With over 1000 varieties of candies, space toys, and more, it's a paradise for those with a sweet tooth. One of its highlights is the ability to launch your candy in a rocket! While some shops may not have an online presence, stumbling upon them can be a delightful surprise.
Awesome candy store that's tons of fun for kids. Had candies from all around the world, some that bring back some childhood memories! The service was also awesome - it's not just a candy store, it's an experience 😁
Joe D — Google review
We visit every year when we come up and have always had a pleasant experience! The cashiers that we have dealt with in years past were always the nicest and had the best personalities! Well, this year not so much. My daughter was looking at a stuffy of bubble tape and put it down, I was getting ready to put it back where it came from and the young lady working there rushed over grabbed it and said, “are you buying this?” I said no, I was just putting it back where she got it from. She was so abrupt and rude. The best part of the experience is when your candy goes into space, If you have a cashier with a personality. The candy selection is awesome! Lots of nostalgia! However, the cinnamon bears I bought for myself were stale and hard. So disappointing. We will probably return again and hope the next time is better. Edit; I had emailed the company and had correspondence with a gentleman named Chad. He apologized for everything that had happened and sent me new cinnamon bears! He went over and beyond to make sure we were happy! We will be visiting again!

Cute little candy store, many options a little bit pricey. They send the candy you purchase through a tube system & announce information as the candy shoots through the tube system that runs across the ceiling once the candy comes out they give you a sticker. Very cute & unique experience for kids.

Adventure Family Fun Center is the ultimate destination for indoor family entertainment. It offers a wide range of attractions suitable for all ages, including outdoor go-kart track, bumper cars, laser tag, arcade games, and mini golf. The 1,000-foot outdoor go-kart track is particularly popular in the area. Located near Lake George, it's a great place for kids with well-maintained mini-golf courses and various other activities like laser tag, bumper cars, and rock climbing.
We went to Adventure Family Fun Center with our children and my oldest son’s best friend today as part of our son’s birthday present. Our youngest is autistic and we knew he probably wouldn’t tolerate wearing the vest. My husband and I had planned to take turns playing laser tag while the other person hung out with him. They offered to let him join us in the arena without the vest to explore the arena while we all played together. They even voluntarily turned the music volume down for his comfort. We had so much fun playing together and he really enjoyed checking out the arena and looking at the lights. He was full of happy squeals and giggles. To the staff of the Adventure Family Fun Center: I wanted to personally thank you so much for your kindness. It is rare that we are given the opportunity to allow our son to enjoy something in a way that’s tolerable to him. Most places are not willing to “bend the rules,” which is totally fine and we are used to taking turns. However it was a pleasant surprise and truly a blessing to be able to enjoy laser tag together. Your gesture today brought me to tears and earned you a lifetime customer.

Best place to visit if you are around Lake George especially for the kids. They have almost everything that your kids will enjoy. Mini golf, go kart and arcade games. The mini golf is awesome and well maintained course, definetly entertaining. They also have laser tag and bumper cars and even rock climbing. Employees are courteous and helpful and honest, my wallet slipped off my shorts while riding the go cart and they returned it to me with the cash untouched. Even the owner gave us free tokens that night. Great place to take your kids.

Laser tag and go karts are great. My granddaughter loves the bounce houses. Young kids enjoyed the bumper cars. There are places to sit at the snack bar area. Indoor go karts are awesome in the winter. We have never been there in the peak season but we have never had to wait long to get on the go karts or laser tag. I would imagine it gets crowded during mid summer but don't know for sure.

Great family fun! Arcade games, bouncy houses, laser tag, bumper cars and go carts. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly.

We stopped here on a rainy day for some fun and it by far surpassed our expectations. This little gem of a place has such warm welcoming staff. We had such a great time with the go-carts the bumper cars the games. So much fun and one little spot. The staff couldn't be nicer serious ly it made it worth the 2-hour trip. We will be visiting again and again. Thank you for a lovely time.

We originally drove out to go to great escape but the weather made the park shut down & honestly that was okay because We ended up finding this place & it was so much fun! They had go carts both inside & outside , a golf course, laser tag, bumper cars, bounce house, & a bunch of arcade games with tickets! The price is unbelievably cheap. The staff were so nice & all had great customer service! The only thing is that some of the games were out of order so we had to play the same ones over again. But this place is definitely a good time, with friends or family!
Marie — Google review
The place is very fun. The go karts are fun to drive and same with the staff. Arcade is pretty fun and the bumper carts/tire carts are fun too. The prices aren’t that bad for the stuff that you do there but it’s your opinion what you like. The laser tag is probably fun but never tried it. I highly suggest going to this place to have fun cause there is mini golf as well.

We had a great time here. The course was very well maintained and it was just challenging enough. Prices were very reasonable and we got a free ice cream at the end that was delicious. Highly recommend and we would return.

Deceptively challenging course. Don't let the lack of bells and whistles along the holes leads to underestimating difficulty, especially on the back (uphill) 9! Misting stations are available throughout. Soft serve FTW!

The indoor entertainment center features a vast roller rink, mini-golf course, LED laser tag arena, playground, go-kart track, and ninja obstacle course.
The Fun Spot is a perfect place for a family to spend a whole day having a blast. We enjoyed some rollerblading and laser tag as a family. The kids then had fun with the indoor jungle gym and ninja warrior set up. The arcade game variety are decent and modern. For us going during the winter break from school, it was busy but didn’t feel crowded.

Visited on a Thursday and it was pretty empty. No wait times. Go Karts were fun but the track was kinda short. They also did have a small oval for smaller kids that couldn’t drive the adult karts. Laser tag was good. The playing field was two floors which was nice. Guns and equipment was pretty new. Arcade area was small though. Had a jungle gym for smaller kids 58” and shorter. Ninja course was pretty challenging even for adults. Qbix machine was pretty neat. Their golf course was top notch. Had koi fish in the pond and decor was awesome. I recommend this place for all ages. Staff was super friendly also.

My son had his 7th birthday party here for the second year in a row and everything went really well. The roller skating was very fun and laser tag was also VERY FUN for the kiddos, we could see all of what they were doing and how they had to play. The ninja and arcade was also very entertaining and we loved The games. The staff however wasn't that kind. Most of the staff were very conformable around people while on the other hand some were rude. The food was made right except we had to give the cheeseburger back because of how cold it was. The waiting time for our food was roughly around 15 minutes. I would recommend the fun spot to people with little children and mostly fun for all ages

The staff was so helpful and friendly! There were so many options to choose from, they really made sure we got the best bang for our buck. Go karting was by far the kids favorite. My 6 year old loves the mini racer. Laser tag seemed to complicated for those under 8. Roller skating was so fun (and they offer blades to) The ninja course you need shoes for. It’s small but fun! The VR system was an experience and well worth the money. The golf course is 18 holes and so fun! We could have spent all day there but packed everything in, in 5 hours. Well worth the $50 fun pass, we spent per kid to experience all the things there
Chelsey G — Google review
Had an awesome time there with a couple of my friends. The workers are very respectful and kind. Definitely making another trip this year with 10+ people so we can take over the karts and have a big race. It was so much fun especially with just 5 people. Money wasn’t a problem but def would be nice if a ticket for karting was $5 not $10. I feel personally if tickets get lowered more people would wanna bring big groups in. Just trying to bring 10 people is $200 for 10 lap race. It’s fun don’t get me wrong but def doesn’t make me wanna do more than 1 race.

My experience at this park was joyful, it was very well maintained and had some fun ledges rails including some hips on the ramps. The only downfall was how basic the park is, but makes it great for beginners! But I can understand from the towns perspective how expensive it could putting in other features such as a bowl or a mini ramp. But overall you will have a blast, especially if you are the only rider in the park.

Makes a better RC car park than for skating. Over half the park space is used for a pointless gap that ruins what little "flow" the park had.

We went for a large group gathering-mix of multiple families with small kids and preteens. In my opinion----The suite isn't recommended for more than 10 or so older teens and/or adults. There was not enough comfortable seating, even though we had the suite. The large room had 4 comfy seats, and the smaller room had a much smaller tv, mini fridge and conference style chair and tables. A bit disappointing to sit in the smaller room with hard chairs and a tiny tv. The bathrooms could have been a bit more deeply cleaned. I think for adults only, it would have been perfect. Not great for kids under age 6 or so, bc the games are too tall for them. Would not go back with small kids, but definitely will try again with just the adults.

This new indoor sports business is definitely worth a visit. There are individual private suites where you can play golf and other sports like hockey, baseball and tennis. You could rent it to watch movies or a concert in the very comfy theatre seating. I have been there 4 times in the last month to use the golf simulator and enjoyed it more each visit. The staff is very helpful. The technology is incredible and we learn more each visit. Priced at $40/hour +tax, 2-4 players can enjoy 2 hours at $20-40 each. That’s reasonable I think. They have snacks and drinks. Go ahead and try it.

Signed up for golf lessons at the Luxury Box with Dan Waterhouse. I have been golfing for over 30 years and have been fighting a slice for the last 10. Having taken lessons several years ago (attended one lesson due to the instructor trying to change every aspect of my golf swing), I was hesitant to try again. This time around it was a completely different experience. Dan watched my swing and gave me four key points to concentrate on and the results were immediate. Added almost 20 yards to my irons and got my driver under control whereby I can keep it in the fairway now and not leave it in the bag-all in a one-hour long lesson! I cannot recommend Dan enough and the Luxury Box is a great venue for golf lessons.

We have a high energy, highly spirited five year old who has been attending Karate here for just over a year, as a Little Dragon. Chris is so patient with the kids and helps them focus on the goals for each class. Our daughter has been learning not only physical skills, but social ones as well, like being a team player and how to be a good sport. She is an only child and was so isolated during the pandemic she, like many other kids, lost out on some socialization skills that they are now having to catch up on. Glens Falls Karate Academy has been so welcoming to our family and so patient with our daughter as she continues to learn to be part of a team. She loves going to class twice a week and we love watching her from the sidelines. Chris and Kate are so kind and good with the kids and the other parents are also so friendly and easy to get along with. It is a wonderful community to be a part of.

I joined glens falls karate academy when I was only four, and now at 13 I have been going to school there for 9 years! I spend so much of my time there, I treat our dojo like a second home!! All of the teachers there have taught me things I’ll take with me through the rest of my life, and I thank them for that. I’ve also been given the ability to help teach younger students myself, which is a passion I didn’t even know I had till I tried it. Glens Falls Karate Academy shaped who I am, both physically and mentally. My favorite thing to do now is karate, which is something I wouldn’t have known had I not tried it. If you are considering to send your kids here, I would 100% recommend to try it out. Who knows, maybe your kid will fall in love with it like I did. Glens Falls Karate Academy is filled with people ready to make your kid into the best version of themself, as it has done for me and everybody I know. Thank you GFKA!!!!

My entire family takes karate at Glens Falls Karate Academy. It all started with my son needing more leadership skills 5-6 years ago. Then I joined 2 years ago then my daughter then just recently my husband. We couldn’t ask for better instruction at all levels of our training. GFKA has given our family the tools we need to be stronger, not only physically and mentally but also as a family.

GFKA has been absolutely amazing for me and my family!! My son was the first the start and we saw such an amazing improvement in his confidence. My wife joined and then my daughter. I saw the improvements in them as well and decided to join myself after years of sitting on the sideline. I love learning not only the techniques, but the application as well. Renshi (Chris) is an amazing instructor and will take the time to explain any questions you may have!! Highly recommended!!

My son has been attending the Glens Falls Karate Academy for almost a year. He loves his lesson and adores Miss Stacey and Sensei. He has matured tremendously. His focus and concentration have soared as well. We are proud members!

We have been with Glens Falls karate for a couple of years now and couldn’t be happier! Renshi does an amazing job teaching great morals and values to his students. He is compassionate and truly cares about his dojo family!

Nestled in the heart of Aviation Mall, this indoor facility offers a thrilling escape where you can unleash your inner warrior. Picture yourself smashing various items in a controlled environment—it's an exhilarating way to relieve stress! While the experience lasts for just 15 minutes, it’s packed with excitement and laughter.
Fun place. Not busy at all on a Saturday afternoon. The price is worth the fun, but you only get 15 minutes in the room. The staff seemed a little disorganized at check in, but attentive at the time of explaining the experience and cleaning up at the end. Overall it was fun!

The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom offers a wide range of activities for visitors to enjoy. From thrilling roller coaster rides to relaxing at the water park, watching entertaining shows, dining at various restaurants, and shopping for souvenirs, there's something for everyone. Families can even stay overnight at the Lodge and Indoor Water Park, where kids can have their own space in the Klub Moose Suite. The park also offers a season pass that includes access to other Six Flags parks.
Fright Fest was So much fun with so many wonderful costumes. Always a great time for some family fun at the Great Escape 6 flags lake George

The park is falling into disrepair. Many rides were closed when we visited at the end of July (the height of the season, everything should be working). Some of the rides and decorations are clearly getting the minimal amount of upkeep. Paint is flaking badly on the bottom of the pools and they should’ve been stripped and repainted long ago. The decorative lights on many of the rides weren’t working at all. The layers of dust and grime make the rides look pretty shabby. They’re painting the old story town stuff to make it look nice, but I don’t think anyone really cares about that. I think the word has gotten out to the rest of the public too. Lines for the rides were short, which helped offset our general disappointment with the place. It was still a fun day with the kids, but we’ve decided that we’re probably not going back again. There are better amusement parks that only require a slightly longer drive. There are tons of better water parks. The prices have gotten so high that this is no longer a good entertainment value.
Eric G — Google review
Great just please clean the pools. I had a ton of band-aides coming flying with the waves in the wave pool. Also hair . I love the wave pool please keep it clean 😊 prices could go down with the food , also shouldn’t have to wait 4 hours between meals with the passes ! Please have life guard on duty at the bottom of the kids water slide near the wave pool. We do love the atmosphere & all the attractions for the littles especially with timber town and the water park is our absolute favorite for the kiddos ! Hot tub needed for adults 🤣

A great place for families. A little pricey but that's the world these days, the reusable cups are definitely worth the buy. The water park is the best part. Bathrooms were as clean as they could be with so many people in and out of them, maybe they should hire a few more maintenance people. Otherwise a pretty good time and Martha's is right across the street!
Brianna P — Google review
Other than more than a few rides being closed for maintenance, it was a good time. The bees are horrible at the drink and food stands though. My partner got stung so if you have a bee allergy stay away from sugary drinks and bring your own food.

We attended on a day of fright fest. Several rides weren't open which was disappointing. As I watched the change over to fright fest I was disappointed. I was surprised to see characters walk up behind people, especially smaller children and just scream. I've been coming to the Great Escape for decades and have never witnessed this before during fright fest. I didn't find this behavior scary or frightening, it was annoying and somewhat cruel, which isn't what fright fest is about. I will say some of the costumes and makeup were outstanding.
Betzy K — Google review
Really went downhill quick this year. Many of the popular rides have been out of service (seemingly) for much of the season and the workers are very unpleasant. I will not be renewing my family's season tickets for 2026 as I'm being asked to pay full price for a 1/3 to 2/3 of this theme park with zero refunds or perks.

Had to go to 4 different places to get my sodas and then on top of it my mom had fallen and nobody did anything. Woman running ride didn't come over to check and ride almost hit my mom in the face. Oh and then there's the fact that their response was to "increase training" no mention of what they could do to fix it for us. I highly discourage you from going if you're disable as they won't do anything to help you if you get hurt in any way

The Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark offers casual suites, some with themed designs, within a resort featuring an indoor water park, arcade, and restaurants. The lodge is located near various attractions such as Birch Bark, Glen Drive-In, and Martha's Dandee Creme. The water park includes a big kid play area, three slides, a lazy river (though lacking in tubes), and a body surfing ride suitable for younger children.
Me and my family of 6 had a great time. The entire indoor park was a great time. My older kids wouldn't get out of the Lazy River and my youngest 2 loved swimming in the kiddie pool. My whole family enjoy the refreshing giant buckets of water at the top of the slides. The food at the Hurricane Bar& Grill was surprisingly great. Nothing taste frozen first or mircowave. Everything was fresh and the room my kids didn't want to leave. We played our Switch at night on one of TV. We booked the Triple Queen. Everyone had plenty space to a have dance party before bed. We will definitely be back.

Stayed here for business while making it fun for the kids, and overall it was a solid experience. The lodge is spacious—our room had a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and plenty of room for the family. Starbucks in the lobby is a nice perk, though it closes from 12–4, so plan accordingly. The water park was a hit with the kids, but it’s extremely loud—earmuffs are a must for little ones sensitive to noise. Forgot flip-flops? No problem, the water park store has them… but be ready for steep prices. Most things here come at a premium. Food, snacks, and coffee are expensive, and they don’t accept cash anywhere except the coin-operated washing machines (go figure). The rooms were mostly clean—microwave could use a better wipe-down—but nothing alarming. The location is convenient if you’re visiting Six Flags—it’s right across the road—but other attractions like mini-golf or ice cream require a short drive. Overall, great for a family getaway with kids, but be prepared for the higher prices and some minor inconveniences. Still, the spacious rooms and fun water park make it worth a visit.

We stayed this weekend for a soccer tournament with a group of 50 parents and kids. Both parents and kids had a great time. The rooms were adequate. The indoor water park was exceptionally fun. But the standout moment was when MaryAnn was able to help facilitate a gathering on the 2nd floor foyer for our entire group to enjoy pizza together. MaryAnn went above and beyond, and for that we thank her. The entire staff was accommodating & friendly. We will be back again next October!

We recently stayed at the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark (8/9 to 8/13) and had a wonderful family vacation. Overall, we had a great time and the kids absolutely loved it! The best part of the entire trip was the indoor water park, which was a huge hit with our whole family. Our kids are 5, 3, and 1, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The water park was very clean and well-maintained. We felt very safe, and the lifeguards were super friendly and attentive. The staff at the resort were also incredibly accommodating and friendly. We had a slight issue with the refrigerator in our room, but as soon as we reported it, the maintenance staff was there within 20 minutes to fix it. This kind of quick service really made a difference. While we had an amazing time, there were a couple of minor things to note. The rooms could have been a little cleaner, and we found the food and other items at the resort to be a bit expensive. However, these small things didn't take away from the overall experience. We would definitely recommend the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge for any family looking for a fun and exciting getaway. The great water park and friendly staff made it a vacation we'll all remember!

Always have a great time we go every year. I do recommend, but sometimes the rooms smell like cigarettes. They are accommodating and change the room for you, but generally, a lot of of them have a Tobacco odor. The food is fantastic love the breakfast buffet and we always have a great time. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable

We have been there 2 times in the winter and fall with 2 kids under 5. All of us had a great time. Service is great and friendly. Rooms are clean, tidy and well stocked. Staff even tried to help us find our missing pony. Food is a little pricey but we were on vaca. Other options nearby if you're willing to drive off the resort area.

This was our second time staying here. We stayed from 8/24-8/26. This time was definitely a little more disappointing than the first for a couple of reasons. First we were upset that we paid for a package including the indoor water park plus the entire theme park which includes the outdoor water park, but the entire outdoor water park was closed Monday (8/25) which was our only full day there. That would have been nice to know about before purchasing the package. Next, it was very annoying that the Starbucks in the lobby was out of basically anything I asked for (oat milk, iced tea, chocolate chip muffin). Then we went down on our last night about 9:45 pm to play at the arcade. The arcade was supposed to close at 11 pm but for some reason the worker decided to close it at 10:30 so we had wasted points that we spent money on since we had a half hour less to use them than we planned. Then the vending machine on our floor (3rd floor) was broken. Also, something needs to be done about the floor in the indoor water park. It is so slippery I saw kids falling left and right in that place. It’s very dangerous. Lastly, they got rid of the inclusive breakfast buffet and now charge guests $10 per person for breakfast buffet. On the bright side, the room was pretty clean and they did replace the Johnny Rockets with a Hurricane grill & wings downstairs which was delicious and fairly priced.

We arrived at 4p and all 3 rooms were ready. They were clean but looked worn. The lights between the queen beds did not work in 2 of the rooms. The hotel staff were friendly. Starbucks was very reasonably priced. The hotel Waterpark was nice, but some rides were down. Our great grandkids loved the lazy river and surf wave. The lifeguards were spot on with safety as number one. All in all, it was a good mini vacation, even though hotel may need some updates. It was great location to Six Flags Great Escape.
