Farms
Cranberry Sweets & More® Factory Store, located in Coos Bay, has been using locally grown fruit like cranberries to create delicious candies and sweets since the 1970s. Their assortment includes jellies, popcorn, chocolates, and more made the old-fashioned way. The store offers a unique variety of chocolates and candies that you're unlikely to find elsewhere.
This place was amazing. If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place for you! Along with delicious fudge and chocolates they have many delicious flavors of Carmel corn. Salted caramel cheesecake and frosted cinnamon bun is awesome! So much to choose from. They also have viewing windows to see the candy being made! I loved this place!

There were so many options and lots of taste tests. The wonderful lady who helped us at the counter was absolutely amazing. She had dark hair. She helped us with options and ideas that we definitely needed. She made our experience. Unfortunately, we did not get her name, but we won't forget her customer service. I've been in the area a few times and never stopped by, I'm so glad I finally got the chance to. Busiest place in town. I've added the photo of the sasquatch that we bought. I guess it was the last one and is so cute. Thank you!!
Skyler C — Google review
A wonderful treat to stop in and get out of the rain! Very welcoming staff and everything is beautifully displayed. We enjoyed all the samples and didn’t expect every single one to be fresh, unique and delicious. Stop in, you won’t be disappointed!
Teresa V — Google review
I see this place and it looks unassuming. Finally decided to go in and so glad I did. Super cute inside. The nicest staff. Delicious goodies. So many free tastings!
Heather H — Google review
Kind of out of the way but definitely worth the drive. Samples everywhere and if there was something you wanted to try, just ask and they gave you a sample. Delicious chili late. The Big Foot was very tasty. Yummy popcorn with 10+ varieties. And did I mention tons of samples!
Jeffrey P — Google review
Great selection, free samples, and a military/veteran discount. Employees were very friendly, and you can see them making the candy in the back through glass. Very cool stop.
Erica E — Google review
Absolutely a sweet tooth heaven. I miss not being able to sample things that I don't know if I'll like, however, I also know what I do like so... No problems there. They do give pre packaged samples at check out though. Love this place. I'm from Eugene and I visit every time I'm in the area. Chocolate lovers paradise!
Cesar C — Google review
There were a lot of tasty treats to choose from. Plenty of options from taffy to chocolate and jelly beans. I think everyone in the family could find something to enjoy. The production is right in back of the store. It would be fun to see them work through the windows but we went in on Sunday when they weren't making anything.

The Coos History Museum, operated by a local nonprofit historical society, offers a captivating exploration of regional history and maritime heritage through its extensive collection of over 50,000 artifacts and more than 250,000 photos and images. The exhibits cover various topics such as the lumber industry, local indigenous tribes, and maritime history. Additionally, the museum features interactive stations designed to engage and entertain visitors of all ages.
This was such a neat experience with a super reasonable admission fee! We were visiting from out of town and decided to stop in to kill time, and we left feeling super impressed! Also had a very neat gift shop to check out.

It's a nice museum with some cool information and displays about Coos Bay history.. it's a bummer that they don't allow video recording and the price is a little high for adults for a small museum.. I was a little disappointed in the lack of information and displays of the Native American tribes that were here for thousands of years before..
D A — Google review
So interesting, and the personal tour at the beginning is very educational. A beautiful facility. We loved it!
Melody W — Google review
It was $25 for 2 adults and one child. The place was small and just didn't have as much as we were anticipating. When we walked in, we were greeted by a gay pride and transgender flag. There was also gay propaganda outside the bathrooms marked 21 and over. We are not planning to return.
Anonymous — Google review
The children are free and adults are only $7. We learned so much about Coos Bay history.
Kimberly A — Google review
Spent a fun few hours here. Recommend it to learn of local history.
Saboin V — Google review
A really good museum with interesting artifacts and area history. Friendly staff and reasonable entry fee. Nice lil gift shop too.
C L — Google review
The museum had several exhibits with many historical items on display and a room with information and examples of myrtlewood carvings. However, the most interesting part of the museum was the sign out front which told of the story of the lynching of Alonzo Tucker who was killed by a white mob in 1902. The museum also goes further into explaining Oregon’s complicated history with race as the only state accepted into the union with racial exclusion laws in their constitution. I briefly lived in Oregon, but I had never heard of many of the things I read about in the museum. I recommend going for the history lesson.

Visitors can enjoy the tree-topped park with its playground, lakeside walking trails, outdoor pool, and Japanese garden. The expansive area includes open green spaces, picnic areas, and a skate park. The park was beautiful! We had a nice stroll around the pond and the little bridges. Really enjoy the garden. Playground area was ok.
Clara P — Google review
I've enjoyed the paved paths in this park for years now. Today we decided to jump the track and found so many more trails up the hillside and under some magnificent trees. It was so beautiful and it renewed a part of me. I think it was the first time my rescue dog ever saw such a beautiful and tranquil place. He definitely did not want to leave!
Kali G — Google review
A great park, with a lake and a small pond, bridges, grass, playground, picnic areas, a lovely place for a stroll or walking your dog or just sitting and relaxing.
Diana G — Google review
While on my way to a Korean restaurant, I discovered this wonderfully maintained park, perfect for a dog walk. The light rain made for an ideal and very pleasant stroll, with plenty of interesting sights. It was a thoroughly relaxing walk, and I definitely recommend it!
Kai D — Google review
Great place to walk your dog and experience some nature. The park is clean and well-maintained.

Located just off Hwy 101 in Downtown Coos Bay, the Coos Bay Boardwalk offers stunning views of the bay and features interpretive displays showcasing the area's maritime and lumber port history. Spanning 0.5 miles, this picturesque boardwalk is home to a fresh fish market/restaurant and provides picnic tables for a relaxing lunch by the water. Visitors can also explore historical exhibits, admire boats, including the restored Koos No.
Coos Bay, Oregon is a quiet, friendly town. We vacationed for 6 days recently, and rest was our goal, and it was pleasantly met. We enjoyed crabbing and fishing at the dock. The town is pretty easy to navigate. We will return again.
Tami — Google review
From one end of the boardwalk to the other is just about 1 mile. It’s a nice leisurely walk along the waterfront. Lots of historical information in the pavilion area. In the early development stage of Coos Bay logging was the primary industry. Coos Bay is located on the coast in Central coast of Oregon. Plenty to do here for sportsman, fisherman, and dune buggy enthusiast.
Steven R — Google review
The birds also really like this place in spite of all the precautions taken. Lol. It was a very nice walk with great placards and information to read.
M T — Google review
The boardwalk is just a place to walk along the river, a few pavilions that tell you about the history and has a few old boats that were used at the time, the visitors center is across the street on the north end of the boardwalk. A few interesting plaques.
David Q — Google review
The Coos Bay Boardwalk is wonderful to walk along as they have a nicely paved half mile walking path along the water. They also have picnic tables to eat, water side with views of the docks. There is a cute seafood place to eat on the water. It is a much nicer walk than I originally expected it to be. Very beautiful!!
Camille A — Google review
Beautiful scenery, sun was shining with a nice ocean breeze to take the edge off. Plenty of fishing boats to look at, and a floating fish & chip restaurant i may visit tomorrow!
Ian W — Google review
It was a fairly short boardwalk with some nice information to read. Unfortunately the pigeons and seagulls also like that area. At least I didn't get pooped on my head. 😀

The Egyptian Theatre, located in downtown Coos Bay, is a historic movie palace built in 1925 and is one of the few remaining examples of Egyptian Revival architecture in the country. Originally a vaudeville theater, it has undergone several renovations over the years. The theater hosts a variety of events including film screenings, concerts, and live performances. With its stunning interior and friendly staff, it offers a nostalgic movie-going experience with comfortable seating and excellent sound quality.
It was one of the most amazing experiences. This historical building is still running and managed by the good people of Coos County. We went to the Elf show with Santa, and it was amazing. If you're in town, please take the time to see this historical building and support the community.
Byron W — Google review
I love the Egyptian theater. It's nostalgic for me. I wish they had more events like tonight's circus of "horror" or concerts or comedy. I know they do, but more & better. Tonight was entertaining but not really horror themed. & for some reason, there was the odor of pee a waft in the air amongst the popcorn.
Heather H — Google review
We had a fantastic time watching a Star Trek movie here! The seats were incredibly comfortable, the screen was crystal clear, and the entire atmosphere felt delightfully nostalgic. The decor is full of character — from the intricate snake door handles to the towering Egyptian statues, every detail adds to the charm. The staff were all genuinely kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. And the best part? Tickets were only $5 — such an amazing deal for a great movie night!
Lila C — Google review
This place is an amazing old theater!! Just a beautiful place!! Had the opportunity to watch Raiders of the lost ark!! ❤️ it was an amazing experience!! I have never seen this old movie on the big screen and boy was it awesome!! 😳 my husband grew up going to the movies here!! It was a very cool experience!! 😎 They have done a nice job with the renovation. If you like old buildings and want to support keeping this old place alive. I cannot suggest it enough!! Tickets price and popcorn was very reasonably priced!! Totally worth it!!
Kimberly W — Google review
It was our first time in this historical building, so I was excited. We watch the circus on ice our kids. Popcorn was cold, but my kiddo didn't complain.

The Egyptian Theatre in Coos Bay, OR is a wonderful cultural gem that is not to be missed. The theatre's historic facade and stunning interior transport you back in time to the golden age of cinema. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making for a great movie-going experience. The theatre offers a diverse selection of films, from independent to mainstream, as well as special events like concerts and live performances. The assortment of cheese includes excellent value end trims, making it a great stop for those sudden poutine cravings. I love love love the panini and mac here. Cute store and bar. The cheese samples make my day much better. Having a face rock location in coos is awesome.

Ice cream was phenomenal! High quality and the special flavors are based on what ingredients are in season. Excellent scooping and portions, kind customer service. Cheese sampling set up is solid and tasty.
Lindsay P — Google review
Great, light lunch. Cheese tastings are great, ice cream (Umpqua) to top it off! Great if you need to use the local Rivian charging as well.
Jared M — Google review
I was disappointed with our service today. We ordered food. Waited 25 minutes and nothing came out. They had no other orders as everyone left. My partner went up to get a refund and that took 15 minutes. It was such a waste of our time. I also had a baby with me who was clearly growing restless from waiting but that did not bring urgency to the staff. It’s too bad because I live in the area, love cheese, and would have totally been back had the service not been so terrible.
Leeza H — Google review
Super cute shop with great cheese, wine, and delicious ice cream at a great price. My daughter loved the vanilla bean
Peter T — Google review
I absolutely love this stopover when I'm doing an 8 mile walk in Coos Bay. It's so clean and friendly. 7 Devils beer on tap and Poutine available! It's a cheese lovers paradise. I have never had anything but great service. Will be back!
Linda ( — Google review
This is one of our favorite lunch spots. The food is always great and there's such a nice little lovely selection of stuff. Their Mac is so yummy! Cheese panini with turkey, Chilli fries, cheese curds 🤌 the Philly is also another favorite.
Sunshine R — Google review
The price for cheese is unreal. I have been there three different times. I have also been to the Bandon location. The price for cheese is over 8 dollars a pound. Every time I get to the register and see the price, I am blown away. This time, I only got cheese ends, thinking I was getting a better deal. Well, the bill was 34 dollars. I thought I was getting the bag at $3.75, but nope, I was getting 3.75 lbs at $8 a pound. The staff were very friendly and said they would return the item. I mean, I had not paid for anything, so I am happy to hear you can return things you have not paid for. Just blows my mind it this keeps happening when I go there. I am so happy for everyone, and I hope you have fun on your travels.

Food is pretty good, all my group and I loved it. Service was quick and easy. Atmosphere was nice and chill. Perfect for seafood lovers.
Maddie R — Google review
Chowder was expensive ($16.50 a bowl) but delicious. Atmosphere was tasteful and pleasant but service left a lot to be desired. Home iced tea was $4.50 and menu said it was unlimited refills. Serving size was about 8 oz. but I had track down someone to ask for a refill as no one came by to check how my meal was or if I needed a refill. Wasn't offered sweetener and when I asked, it was never provided. There are two seating areas and the other side was much fuller than the side I was on was where you ordered as there was no table service for ordering. While I was there, a youngster of about 8 years forcefully threw a plastic egg on the floor to open it, causing quite a loud noise as it broke open. It appeared to be filled with some kind of sticky foam that surrounded a prize. It went all over the floor. Staff never asked the child to clean up the mess or reached out to the parent or cleaned it themselves. I didn't want it tracked around so I worked with the child and we cleaned up the mess. Staff never thanked either of us for the effort.
Robyn G — Google review
The staff were very nice, however I do not recommend coming here for food. I ordered a small bowl of the tomato sopa, it was $9.25 and was an extremely salty broth. The staff did take it back and brought blackened cod tacos. My parents had mesquite fish tacos. The presentation was nice and ingredients fresh, however, the flavors and sauces did not go good together at all, and the mesquite tacos had very strong fishy aftertaste. We didn’t order drinks/bar cocktails so I can’t speak those.
Genna M — Google review
Must try! These are the best tacos I've ever had! I definition recommend shark bite! They have stuck a large menu and all from scratch! Also their drinks are perfect! I had the shark tank to drink my boss had the strawberry sunshine both were delicious. And I had the southwestern slaw tacos superb!!!

Delicious burger and fries, brew was on point! Great atmosphere, if I had more time, could have sat there for a while and enjoyed a couple more beers and the company. Staff were friendly and it was priced right for the quality of everything. Definitely would go back again!

Recommended spot off the highway, so we decided to give it a go. Very nice staff and good food. The chilled shrimp cocktail was tasty and very fresh, however we found the clam chowder a bit chalky (for lack of a better term). Still, a great quick stop on the way back north.

The large hot chocolate and latte are described as delicious and served at the perfect temperature.
Just a drive-thru but the vanilla latte was outstanding. I got a snickerdoodle cookie which was a pre-prepared thing which was okay. Nice little touches they serve to chocolate covered coffee beans with your drink. The server was friendly.

I was helped by a young girl named Hannah the other day who was the sweetest most understanding girl, she took her time with my order, talked with me about the kitty adoption going on in the mall, and was overall the friendliest crew member I’ve come across while ordering at this location. I was sad to not see her today so figured I’d shout her out! She really knows her job and is an outstanding barista
Tessa L — Google review
The coffee is good, the food is small for the price, but still tasty. And I enjoy the service. They're always super friendly, and when the lines get long they send out a worker when they have a spare one to get people's orders. I'm only giving 4 stars though because I think it's wild you can't get a buzz drink smaller than 24 oz. I don't need a drink that big and I don't want a drink that big. I was offered a 16oz size, but would still be charged for 24 oz. Why can't you order the buzz drinks in a smaller size?
DeAnne W — Google review
We used to like Human Bean and would get our morning coffee there... but it seemed to have gone downhill. :( Maybe it's the young kids working there now (like super young kids, I mean, ugh). But anyways now their lattes taste like steamed, weak coffee !! and yet you still pay the price of an espresso drink. Sigh. Guess I'll stick to my regular place. Sorry, HB, but thought you should know! ☕

I bought a small Green tea smoothie that was full of ice chunks and two ham and provolone sandwich which was like biting into rubber. Spent $14 and change along with a generous $5 tip. This was at the North Bend OR location. I will not be going back. Very dissatisfied.

Taco Bell is a beloved fast-food chain that specializes in delicious Mexican-inspired dishes, including tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. Many fans express their longing for the return of the Mexican pizza but appreciate the friendly service they receive at various locations. Customers often mention how accommodating staff are when orders change at the drive-thru, making each visit enjoyable despite any mix-ups that may occur with their meals.
We eat there more than we should. I almost tried to get a job there so my grandkids would think I was the coolest grandma in the world cuz they love it too
Toni D — Google review
Great place! It can get a bit noisy at times, but that's because the kitchen is visible from the dining area. The staff are lovely here, and very helpful if you don't know how to use the kiosk to order. I do wish they still let you order at the counter, but that's corporate's fault; not the employees'. Restrooms are available, but you need to ask the staff for the code and they can be a little hard to get the attention of sometimes when it's busy. Over all I like this location and they have never messed up my order so far. Nice little spot.
Viupcake — Google review
I hate this place. You have to order all of your own food on the screen. It's not easy. There's no staff to help you. They weren't out cleaning tables. There was a man on his phone. It was turned up loud. He was talking to somebody on speaker phone it was a spanish conversation and everybody in the place had to listen whether we could understand it or not because he wouldn't put his phone up to his ear.. While we tried to enjoy our lunch. I just was not a fan of this place whatsoever, and the parking is awful, at least if they're gonna have computers that you have to make your own order there should be somebody to help you through it. This is such a hassle.
Shannon H — Google review
The food was amazing, but the price was a bit steeper than I was prepared for. For 4/5 items it cost me 50.00. The person at the window did a lot of staring, I don't know if he was just spacing out or there was something else going on but it made my husband and I very uncomfortable. If the guy was a bit more communicative and didn't stare us down it wouldn't have been so bad. As for the price, it is what it is, it was just a sticker shock. We will be back but it was just a strange experience. Lol

I'm done with this Taco bell! They raise their prices and then sell you garbage! They never get my order right either and all burritos are marked the same so you don't know which burrito is which!

So I got off work in coos bay after a 13hr day & went through the drive thru of coos bay taco bell. I ordered a beef chalupa add nacho cheese sauce, a chicken chalupa add nacho cheese sauce, and one of each of the burrito supremes (beef, chicken & steak). I asked lady at drive thru before I left if everything was there & correct & she said it should be. I get maybe 5 minutes from my house (clear out in Charleston) and I'm not only missing a steak burrito Supreme but my freaken chicken chalupa is completely meatless & I didn't notice till I put my hot sauce on. The first phone call was to rosa when I noticed i was missing the steak burrito Supreme (she was really nice), then my 2nd phone call I spoke with edgar who said to bring the chicken chalupa back & they'll replace my food. And I then tell him I took a picture as soon as I opened chalupa & noticed but I am not driving all the way back to coos bay Tonight & already told rosa I'd be there tomorrow after I'm off work. Its crazy to know taco bell crew members make $14-15/hr and can screw up food that bad especially when my chicken chalupa was meatless & just the veggies, sour cream & the hot sauce I'd put on it. I think I'll go get my replacement food tomorrow after work & I don't think I'll return to this location. I spent quite a bit for 5 items & they couldn't even get my order remotely correct & drive thru girl said it was all there & correct 🙄🤔😬

North Bend Lanes is a family-friendly bowling alley that offers affordable fun for all. With bumper lanes for kids and party packages available, it's a popular spot for birthday celebrations. The alley features computerized touch screens and ample parking. It's advisable to call ahead to reserve lanes, especially on league nights. North Bend Lanes also hosts events like comedy shows and welcomes large groups, including those with special needs, making it a favorite community outing.
I have to bring my son here at least every other Sunday. It's a pretty good way to entertain myself and my son for an hour. Plus, their bar and grill have really good food, with a nice menu for people of all ages, with a great variety. Finally, no matter if you're at the shoe counter or in the Bar & Grill, but the staff is very nice and welcoming from start to finish. That's why we keep going back.

Fun place!! The cosmic bowling is fun and interactive but can be really distracting at times. Pricing was fair and the lanes were well maintained. Didn’t get food but I hear great things about it. 10/10

Please beware and read all of the contract. I was lied to and basically hustled out of $800. Was wanting month by month but was talked into 3 months contract with a lower rate. I was told that if I left early the price would revert to the original rate and I would receive a refund. I paid for 3 months and left in two. They refuse to refund me anything. So not only did I pay for a month I never used, I also was not returned my deposit. Paid $2200 for two months stay. Will not reply and I seem to have no recourse. Makes me wonder how many other people they get like this.

A close family member went missing her name was popcorn. We know who did it and we will be getting her back. This was a very important family pet who this place claims to be pet friendly but didnt like that my family members who owned her were paying less then everyone else after they got hired there two years ago. The old owners were so much better I highly recommend u go somewhere else because the people here aren't as "nice and friendly" as they claim.

We love it here. Clean facility, quiet. Laundromat is clean. Love the little community center. Dog wash stations. Dog parks. Just wish I had a fire pit lol

If you are renting a storage space, be aware there have been numerous breaking from a homeless encampment directly next to the fence. Management has also increased fees significantly after being purchased by an out of state entity. Be aware they have me incorrect information re: cancellation of my rental space and then proceeded to tell me my deposit check would be in an email. When I followed up re: this after I didn’t receive it, they told me I hadn’t given enough notice or followed the checkout protocol. Buyer be aware

The park is average, but has very nice bathrooms and great areas for your dogs, and they can be off leash in a safe, grassy area. The staff is very nice and helpful. My only complaint is they do not offer cable. I'd stay there longer if they did.

Choshi Gardens, nestled in Mingus Park, is a serene Japanese garden offering a tranquil escape with its lush greenery and traditional design. The meticulously landscaped plants, koi ponds, and stone lanterns create a peaceful ambiance for visitors to unwind and reflect amidst the natural beauty. Situated next to a stream teeming with ducks and seagulls, the garden provides a delightful retreat for families with its rich flora and fauna.
A little out-of-the-way place but well worth visiting I was genuinely surprised. I was thinking I was going to see a little garden, but this garden is within a large forest and wooded area . They have a wonderful bamboo forest Japanese inspired walkways and bridges. Well laid out beautiful ponds well worth visiting. This is my first time in Coos Bay and it made for an unexpected experience

I stayed here in 2001 in my 74 Wilderness! Now I have a 96 Safari 35' Safari motorcoach and can't get in because of the age of my coach! I don't get the age bias with these RV parks. Ridicules they will charge me more a week for the age and I can only stay for two week. When I was there in 2001 it was a dump and still is! I was just close to work!

State park
Nature & Parks
Coastal views, formal gardens & trails at day-use park open till dusk daily; no dogs & parking fee.
I wish I could give this place a proper review. There are gardens here, many hiking trails, as well as the dramatic rocky coastline. People come here during the worst winter storms to watch waves smash against the rocks, generating 50-foot spray. The way the rock outcroppings in the water are situated, they are basically ramps to allow the big waves to smash and get launched in the air. The day we came was very calm, but I could imagine just how incredible it would be to see this during a big swell. The geology of this area is very interesting, hard volcanic rocks and formations are embedded in softer sandstone, so there is this interesting contrast and strange growth patterns to the rock. It was something unlike I've seen before along the coast. Very cool, fun to explore. Unfortunately we didn't spend much time further inland where the trails are or the gardens, but they are supposed to be amazing, and very well kept. We'll have to come back someday and explore more of what this park has to offer!
Allan R — Google review
This state park offers scenery so stunning it’s hard to put into words, along with top-notch infrastructure. One important note—dogs are not allowed here, so if you want to explore the gardens and coastal views, you’ll need to leave them briefly in the car. The sight of waves crashing against seaside rocks, the mist rising from the surf, and the sound of the ocean create a mesmerizing atmosphere. The walking path overlooking this scene winds through wide, open lawns that feel both beautiful and majestic. Just when you think the view can’t get any better, the trail leads you to an unexpectedly charming botanical garden. After spending time there, I browsed the gift shop and wrapped up the visit. I absolutely plan to return in another season—and this is a must-visit destination I wholeheartedly recommend.
Kai D — Google review
Nice state park off the 101. We spent about an hour here walking trails, exploring the beautiful botanical gardens and admiring views of the nearby ocean. We went to the overlook and observation building. Restrooms were clean and tidy and there was plenty of parking. Saw birds and deer (a doe and two fawn).
Frances S — Google review
It’s been on my bucket list to visit Shore Acres State Park during King Tides.. and I finally got to! It was a beautiful sunny day, but even with that, the waves were super impressive. Could only imagine the wave action when it’s stormy! There are plenty of little paths to take and explore, other than the view points most people stand by to get photos, a gift shop with great items and nice people working in it, and even a botanical garden. We spent a few hours here total, but can’t wait to go back again. Thank you for having us. 🌊🥰🫶🏼

What a gem of a place Shore Acres is. It was so beautiful but also quiet today (since we got there quite early). The rhododendrons are in full bloom but the roses are just budding. Will have to come back when they’re fully bloomed. Still. Just a magnificent Oregon State Park. Love that it’s so close to the ocean. Just up the way there was a great viewing area for pupping harbor seals, elephant seals, and sea lions. Today the water was particularly blue.
Wen G — Google review
Wow, I didn’t realize such a beautiful place existed on this part of the Oregon coast. What an amazing garden, and the view from the viewpoint is stunning. And for the most part, a person in a wheelchair can traverse the grounds, though some of the trails have a good deal of tree roots. Even the $10 entrance fee shouldn’t deter someone from seeing this place - it’s that good!
Allen W — Google review
Wonderful gardens and gift shop/ visitors center at Shore alAcees State Park. The gardens can be enjoyed in a leasurely half hour stroll and include many types of flowers and plants, there is also a Japanese style pond with Koi fish. The gift shop has a large selection of souvenirs. Fee to enter is $10 per vehicle but is well worth it.

Headland with sea views, a picnic area & cove trails leading to beaches & tidepools.
Great place to hike. Love the views. The road is closed going farther into the park because of erosion under the road but should be fixed in a month or so. You can still get to the other parts of the park by foot. I recommend walking on the road on your way back for a faster trip back.

This is a pretty awesome State Park. There's a variety of areas that you can actually visit. The State Park itself is where the beach is at and it has a variety of picnic tables as well as fire pits even and a restroom. But further up along the drive, there's actually a few different viewpoints where depending on the day and the time you can find people at telescopes who are watching sea lions, otters and other variety of sea lions creatures. It's incredible to see the amount of sea lions that were there. I was amazed to see that many. Further up along the drive you'll reach the end point which is a huge scenic area. As you can see from some of the pictures that I uploaded, there's quite a few here. There's a nice walking area around to look at that lets you really capture in the breath of God's creation there. Honestly, if I'm ever in the area I will come back here again as it's an easily accessible Beach wasn't too crowded and has some great views over the next time I come though it won't be as windy.
David B — Google review
Nice little stop! Picnic tables under shade trees and lots of seals out on the distant rocks! You can hear them before you see them! Short walk out to the end of the point and views off of each side!
Frances S — Google review
One of the most beautiful Oregon coast experiences. From the drive in to the views at the point. You can't get to the ocean at the point but you can at the day use and campground area. There is also the gardens that have views and amazing gardens.
Troy R — Google review
There are actually several named State Parks in this part of Coos Bay, for whatever reason. Cape Arago is the southern end of the Parks. We didn't hike any of the trails that went inland, and stuck mostly to the immediate shoreline. Most of this area is a hundred feet or more above the water, so getting down to the shore usually requires hiking down relatively steep, but short trails. The views from the main parking area are nice, but there isn't a whole lot to see. We did climb down one of the steep sandstone cliffs to get a bit closer to the water but not all the way down. A few people have made up their own trails down, but obviously these are not maintained or sanctioned. A quick stop if you're doing a driving tour of the area.
