Located in Cartersville, Georgia, Tellus Science Museum is a top attraction offering an array of interactive and educational experiences for visitors of all ages. The museum boasts over 120,000 square feet of space dedicated to hands-on science exhibits, including geology displays, fossils, and mineral galleries. Visitors can explore the Weinman Mineral Gallery featuring an extensive collection of minerals, gems, and rocks as well as the Fossil Gallery showcasing a variety of dinosaur fossils.
Absolutely loved our Sunday afternoon visit to the Tellus Science Museum with my wife and our two daughters! The planetarium show was a standout—beautifully done and a fun, educational look at the night sky. The gem and mineral gallery was stunning, and both kids were fascinated by the dinosaur and fossil exhibits. We also enjoyed the transportation wing with classic cars and space memorabilia, and the weather gallery was full of interactive elements that kept everyone engaged. It’s a fantastic place for families—hands-on, educational, and well-maintained. We’ll definitely be back!
Robert J — Google review
This is a place you should visit if you haven’t visited at least once. They have rotating exhibits that keeps it interesting and the show was great, but I left really feeling like I wanted more- but not entirely their fault since they had construction for part of the area too (which is why I didn’t take off a Star). We went specifically for the dinosaur exhibit and it didn’t disappoint, but it was smaller than other museums we have visited- except for the rock and fossil dig, which was the highlight of our trip and where we spent most of our time (they were not busy and this wasn’t during peak times). The show was challenging for me to watch, but that was just because I wear glasses and it hurt my eyes a little- my daughter loved it and talked about the volcanoes from the show through lunch, so worth it! Lunch was pretty good. I had the sandwich with chips and a drink. My daughter had a kids meal. The prices were typical for museum food. The best part here were the staff members. They were very kind and sweet to my daughter- the interaction was very positive! It was unexpected for a museum, but with the size of the place, I really did like the personable quality of those interactions. Would I return? Yes, but for their star gazing or the telescope event, not so much for the rest of the museum. We live about 2 hours away so going back for one of those events was very appealing to my daughter.

Absolutely love this place!! This is a wonderful place to visit, and an amazing place to take children. The displays are amazing and up close. The staff is more than helpful, and extremely knowledge in every aspect of this museum. You must take make this a family outing for a day, I promise you won't regret it!!

I love this museum, as do my children. They staff is always friendly and helpful, there is a variety of interesting exhibits, and it's not overpriced. They also have a lot of events that we like to attend. The geology wing is great, with interactive elements and lots of displays. The fossil exhibits have interesting dinosaurs and mammals. The technology area has a good selection of old and new cars, planes, and space vessels. In addition to that, the planetarium is fantastic! The night sky and shows are always interesting to observe. They also have an observatory (which is awesome) a planet walk, mining and digging for the children, and other fun encounters. I do recommend visiting.
TaRan W — Google review
Tellus is Awesome! We have been members for years and can say with confidence that the memberships are worth every dollar. The kids love every exhibit every time. They have many interactive exhibits such ass gem mining and fossil dig. They also have a new Interactive Space Exhibit! The booths were all very cool and there is a 5 Minute tour thay simulates being on the space station.
Steve F — Google review
Wonderfully designed museum with fascinating exhibits! We learned so much about rocks and minerals, the periodic table, and prehistoric animals. They also have gem mining and fossil digging which was so cool! The souvenir shop is reasonably priced and had a great selection of gems and other interesting gifts.

Came this past Sunday while visiting my friend. [came around 1pm and it wasn’t crowded at all and we really weren’t tripping over other visitors at any exhibit] It’s small compared to other science museums I’ve been to and didn’t expect to be there long but we were there for over 3 hours!!! If we had kids, probably could have spent at least another half hour in the children’s area. We breezed through it but agreed we would have enjoyed it if we were little. Well worth the money and the planetarium program was interesting. I’m sure we will come back again during a future visit! Also want to mention it was very clean, including the bathrooms. We ate lunch and the food was better than expected in terms of size and quality especially for the price. Would highly recommend this!
Kandas K — Google review
I recently visited the Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville, Georgia on a field trip with my daughter’s class, and we had such a great experience! The museum has an incredible collection of rocks and minerals, including many that are local to Georgia, which made it even more exciting and educational. One of the highlights for my daughter was the gem mining activity—she loved getting to sift through and take home her own bag of gems. The exhibits are very interactive, engaging for both kids and adults, and the guided tour was full of fascinating information that really brought science to life. The Tellus Museum is such a wonderful place for families, school groups, and anyone interested in geology, fossils, space, or hands-on science. We left with so much knowledge and great memories. Highly recommend visiting the Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville, GA for an educational and fun day trip!

The Booth Western Art Museum is a large museum dedicated to the art and culture of the American West. It stands out as the only museum in the southeastern United States focused on this region. With an impressive 11,000 square meters of space, it boasts the largest permanent collection of Western American art in the country and is Georgia's second-largest museum.
This is one of my all time favorite museums. Definitely a place everyone should check out, whether they think they like western art or not. The president’s room alone is worth the visit. We also visited during a family night event, and they had lots of fun things available to families!
Amy J — Google review
This is an incredibly beautiful and interesting museum. I visited it with a group of retirees and they were thoroughly satisfied with the trip. The staff is very polite and welcoming. Inside, you'll find a buffet and a souvenir shop with very reasonable prices.
Viktoriya K — Google review
Happened upon the museum by chance while traveling through Georgia. It was wonderful! It has many paintings and sculptures of the American West you have probably seen in books, but not in person. The docent in the split exhibit of Allan Hauser and Harry Jackson was especially informative. She gave a great background history of the artwork. Beautiful art, and the collection of letters from every U.S. president was impressive
Eric N — Google review
Not only were the exhibits wonderful, the staff here were nothing but kind and helpful. We came for a day trip with our elderly relatives and they made sure everyone was comfortable and that we had good recommendations for places to eat after our trip through the museum. The entire trip was great and I cannot recommend the museum enough.
Robert K — Google review
Free parking. Sculpture garden right at the entrance. Wonderful staff. In the heart of downtown Cartersville,GA—plenty of dining and shopping and events for after the museum. (I previously reviewed the 8 Track restaurant in Cartersville.) Now for the import stuff. The exits are gorgeous and represent both the mythical old west and the reality. Every room has sculptures to ponder or a stagecoach to marvel. The photography room had interesting exhibits of women (photographed by women) and even a collection of biker photos. The biker photos are obviously from the 50s and 60s, although some are more modern. There is a delightful area of sculptures inside depicting everything from a whimsical cowboy to a “painted” horse. You can find examples of boots, moccasins, and headdresses. The exhibits are both educational and thought provoking. I was pleased at the sophisticatedly curated collection. I was fortunate to visit when the western movie exhibit was up. I got to see hats worn by actors as well as movie posters and even costumes. I was able to marvel at a handmade dress once belonging to legendary singer, patsy Cline and the dress worn by Jessica Lange in the biopic. Liz Taylor’s dress from Giant was on display, as well as Robert Redford and Mel Gibson’s jacket from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and also Maverick, respectively. This was a temporary exhibit. How much longer it will remain, I do not know. I understand that they also have visiting artists and an area for children. (I did not visit the children’s area.) The gift shop is well stocked with interesting souvenirs. Admission was reasonable. One adult and one senior was $30.00. We were there two hours, but could have stayed longer. Unfortunately we didn’t give ourselves quite enough time. Overall, I think this is worth a little detour.
LD S — Google review
While it was a quick visit, under an hour, we hardly had time to see it all, however the exhibits we were able to explore are top tier. Brilliantly arranged and curated, the pieces were in the RIGHT places so that they were enhanced by their placement. They have a very friendly staff, extremely clean, a packed gift shop, theaters with shows running all day. Will revisit and revisit and revisit. 10x10 recommend

The Etowah Indian Mounds State Historic Site, located in the ancient Etowah Valley Historic District, is a significant archaeological site that offers a glimpse into the Mississippian culture of the Southeast. This 54-acre site features six earthen mounds, including the largest one covering 3 acres and standing over 63 feet tall. Visitors can explore a museum displaying excavated artifacts, as well as a gift shop and picnic area.
It was a peaceful and quiet afternoon when I visited. I practically had the entire place to myself aside for a couple other visitors. This allowed for meditation and grounding. I bought some souvenirs to support the museum. There is a river in which they have benches to allow one to sit by the river bank and listen to it roll by. It was a very tranquil experience. I will definitely visit again, hoping to take archery lessons.
Johnnetta J — Google review
Very interesting and a lot of history. Not much display as far as artifacts go in the museum. Doesnt have a big gift shop, just a few magnets etc. Does have a film you can watch. Overall enjoyed it.
Barclay W — Google review
The guy at the front desk was super nice and informative. The little museum that had was neat, and the video was worth watching The mounds were cool, but most of the few plaques that they had were so torn up by the weather, you could hardly read them. It also would have been nice to maybe have more interactive things around the property.
Sarah K — Google review
This is a historic place with some educational materials in their visitor center. We experienced awe-inspiringly tall mounds to climb and remember the cities they used to hold. Visiting on the solstice created dramatic shadows. There's also a beautiful river nearby.
Kaeti M — Google review
A great experience walking the mounds and the path around. Walked down to the river and took some pictures. Good displays of artifacts and information about those who were here the Etowah indians. Clean restroom and facility. Small gift shop on site.
Starlight L — Google review
Always worth a trjp. The visitors' center does a great job explaining the history and context, and realizing the ancient city. Then it's amazing to see the view from the main mound, imagining the villagers below awaiting the Chief's words. Make sure you walk past the other two mounds to the Etowah River, which is beautiful here. An almost supernaturally calm and revitalizing place.
Brooks S — Google review
Nice visitors center. Plenty of parking when we arrived. Walked up to the top of the 2 larger mounds and down to the river.
Firehouse M — Google review
Lots of great information on the Etowah Indians and how they lived in this area. The employees are great, very informative and professionally accustomed. There are places to rest outside, bathrooms on the premises and the walk to the mounds is clear and level. It’s not wheelchair accessible. The stairs up the mounds are quite long. I suggest going in fall or spring, or take an umbrella when going in summer heat and water.

Park
Red Top Mountain State Park is a stunning destination located in Cartersville, known for its picturesque 12,000-acre Lake Allatoona. The park offers a wide range of outdoor activities including fishing, water skiing, and swimming. Visitors can relax on the sandy beach surrounded by trees or explore the historic grounds with artifacts and educational exhibits. Hiking enthusiasts will enjoy the 1.3-mile loop trail that provides historical insights into the area's past.
Beautiful! We were able to hike with our two boys under two years old and then wade in the lake afterwards. We found a secluded spot right off the beach area to wade privately with our dog. All dogs are allowed on trails as long as they are leashed. They are not allowed directly on the beach.
Rachel W — Google review
I cut through the homestead trail from the visitor center parking lot and covered the loop of about 4 miles. The part of the trail that runs beside the lake is extremely beautiful and has a few good spots to enjoy the view of the lake. The trails are well marked and they also hand you with a map for navigation. The trail is pretty flat with some peaks and valleys. Next time I will try the Iron hill loop which I have heard is quite amazing as well. They charge a $5 for parking/entry. The visitor center has wifi, water and restrooms.
Nishant P — Google review
Just minutes from the city but feels like you're out in the wilderness. The lake surrounds much of the state park and there's plenty of things to do on the water or on land. There's tennis/pickleball courts right by the trading post. Restrooms are clean. The cottages are amazing and situated in a fantastic spot. We had a wooded view of the lake and could walk just down the hill to go fishing. Rest and relaxation were easily obtained. Cell phone service throughout the park made it easy to stay in touch with the outside world, do what you will with that. The hiking trails were well maintained and had wonderful views of fauna and flora.
James A — Google review
This is my most loved hiking spot with my dog. Absolutely love taking her hiking here! It’s beautiful during the cooler fall months where the leaves change colors and the views are gorgeous with plenty of overhanging shade and lush scenery. Super dog friendly and lots of entrances into the surrounding lake are for the dogs to cool off in. Easy trail that’s flat and easy to hike and the lake view is gorgeous. My favorite trail entrance is the Iron Hill entrance- highly recommend.
Maria N — Google review
Verrrry nice... clean, and peaceful. The path isn't paved, but it's smooth and wide with several little break away trails along the way that lead to the banks of the lake. Everywhere you look is a beautiful view. 10/10
Quantis S — Google review
Peaceful, Scenic, and Worth the Stop! Red Top Mountain doesn't disappoint. The lake views are gorgeous with calm, clear water surrounded by tall pines and that perfect mix of shade and sunshine. The shoreline’s great for skipping rocks or just sitting back to enjoy the stillness. Picnic tables are tucked right under the trees with views that could make a postcard jealous. If you’re looking for a quiet place to unwind, this is it. Bring a lunch, take a walk, maybe dip your toes in the water. It’s simple, natural Georgia beauty at its best.
Nick F — Google review
Very neat and clear trails. Friendly hikers along with their pets. We did see some dogs off their leash, but they were not a nuisance as they stayed proximal to their owners. We went as a large hiker group; we saw an additional hiking group out there as well. Plenty of shade and the terrain is not bad/dangerous, but there are noticeable elevation changes. We took the Homestead Trail.
Brandon C — Google review
Red Top Mountain-Iron Hill Trail Nice 4-5 mile trail that runs into the woods and around part of the lake offered nice views of the lake and is mostly protected from the summer heat by densely populated forest area over the trail essentially acting as a shaded canopy. This is a state owned park so our federal park pass was not accepted and a small fee of 5 dollars per vehicle is required for all day access. A park ranger was present who gladly gave information about Red Top Mountain park trails. Unique features: plenty of shaded areas for family picnics along the lake. Quality: nicely maintained walking trails, plenty of beautiful lake scenery throughout the trail including on bridges. Problems/issues: We followed the blue diamond sign all the way to the end, which lets you know where to turn on the trail and not get lost, and we ended up in a RV camping spot instead of back on the car parking lot where we started. It took some figuring out, and using google maps, for us to find our way back to our car. Signage for directions back to the parking lot might be inadequate. Things that are different: Compared to Lake Lanier, the waters are heavily populated by boaters. Water temperature seems to be warmer than our usual Lake Lanier spots.

History Museums
The Bartow History Museum, situated in the Old Bartow County Courthouse built in 1869, is a captivating journey through time. Located in historic downtown Cartersville near the railroad tracks and depot, it offers a comprehensive exploration of the region's history spanning over 200 years. From the Cherokee habitation to the impact of the Civil War and insights into early 20th-century life, this museum meticulously preserves and presents Bartow County's agricultural, industrial, and cultural heritage.
Referred to the museum by the young lady at the Welcome Center. Pat greeted us and was so very friendly. Born and raised in Cartersville, she shared a wealth of knowledge of the downtown area. Beautiful building and well presented exhibits. I thanked Trey and Pat for preserving the history.
David L — Google review
Neat museum in the old courthouse building. It had great pine columns and beautiful hardwood floors. It's nice to learn about the local area, whether you're from here or not. Sweet lady greets you and gives you a brief history of the museum and Cartersville itself. Would recommend if your in the city.
Michael M — Google review
Took my son here after buying a Groupon during Summer vacation. We just moved to Cartersville and decided to learn a little about the place we live now. The ladies are so nice and the history of the building, the awesome artifacts, and the way they have the different sections set up is so cool! A must visit!

8/2024 Visiting family that live in Cartersville and wanted to learn a bit more local history. This was the perfect venue, housed in the old court house. The museum is well thought out with very good notations for the various exhibit areas. The staff was very helpful in answering questions we had and also informed us of their various educational/fun activities. This was a great stop.
Kathy B — Google review
Where County History Comes Alive - an Amazing Walk thru Bygone Times There is a good reason for the museum's slogan "Opening a Door to the Past" - it showcases more than 200 years of Bartow County history. And yes, it pays off to take on the two hours ride on scenic highways from Downtown Atlanta to the small town of Cartersville in the northwestern countryside! Placed in Cartersville's masterfully refurbished Courthouse building Bartow History Museum has plenty of exhibits waiting for you: Here you can get a feel for the time of Cherokee inhabitancy to the effects of global events such as WWII. The museum offers an interactive gallery so we enjoyed exploring Cherokee and pioneer cabins, sat in a one-room school house and read a book at the old fashioned school desk, listened to historic voices telling stories in an authentic 1940s telephone booth to name a few things. Moreover, we steeped in the experience of "working a shift" in a textile mill, shopped at the General Store and learned details of a Civil War soldier's hardships. We will not forget their permant exhibitions such as "Bartow's Antebellum Life" and "Bartow in Pictures". Those are so amazing! Although we came visiting from far away our day in Cartersville during which we also met very kind and knowledgeable museum staff helped us a lot to better understand why locals love their region so much. One more reason for us at PHIL'S WORLD TRAVEL to recommend a visit to this extremely popular attraction to our clients from overseas.
PHIL'S T — Google review
Under rated small museum with local history and charm. I learn so much about a town and county by visiting the local history on display. This is really worth a look
Michael K — Google review
I loved the Bartow History Museum. We drove for 2 hours to visit the museums of the area. We were very happy with the minimal price of admittance, only 7$\person. The atmosphere was fantastic and the lady at the front desk was very helpful in informing us about the exhibits the museum had to offer. We had a great time learning the history of the county and would highly recommend. We will probably return in the new year to see any new exhibits they release.

The museum's name was inspired by the discovery of a preserved 1954 Plymouth Savoy during property clearing. Visitors can explore historic artifacts and learn about soldiers' bravery in an educational yet enjoyable experience. The museum also features a 1.
Excellent collection and immaculate museum. I was excited to know the featured exhibits rotate; Shelby and Ferrari on the docket! The volunteer tour guides were SO passionate and informative. You all should visit this gem soon. We will come back! Thanks all.

We absolutely loved this museum! All the vehicles were easily viewed and the information was in depth on each one. I love that they rotate exhibits and keep it interesting month after month. The cafe is excellent and had a nice selection of burgers, sandwiches and hot dogs, with a solid drink selection. Also the cookies are delicious 😋

Found this by accident while on Google maps! Such an amazing find. Turned the visit into a surprise for my husband. The exhibits were beautiful and spacious. The exhibits rotate often, and are well documented in the brochure with start dates and end dates. There is a movie theater on site. The movies to be shown are also well documented on a handout that includes the movie showing and the date. There are multiple bathrooms on sight. All were well maintained. There are multiple benches throughout the museum (approx every 8 feet along the perimeter of a long room and in the corners of the small rooms). My back really enjoyed the chance to sit. I saw many others making use of them as well. The staff at each room was knowledgeable and friendly. There is a café on sight, but we did not try it.

We have been here a few times and we love it! Today 09-06-25. They had a car show it was awesome . The cars on the inside are very nice , I like that they change them out from time to time . There is a cafe, gift shop and a theater in there as well. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.

What a hidden gem. I like to take pictures, but i wouldn't say I'm a car girl, and I was impressed. Everything is immaculate down to the restrooms. The artwork is amazing. How can you make oil on canvas look like a photograph?! There was even a '59 Caddy like my Dad used to have. Although it was a Coupe. There were cars I'd never heard of including a Lamborghini tractor. I highly recommend checking the place out. Makes for a great trip as it's easy to get to from Atlanta or Chattanooga. There's ample parking and beautiful grounds. You can't miss it.
C W — Google review
Absolutely fantastic! Beautiful facility inside and out. It has a nice e café with reasonable prices. The cars are from a wide time period. I can legitimately say I learned some things that I've never even heard of before! It seems like promotions change monthly, so be on the lookout to visit again! Cars will change!

One of the nicest automobile museums I have ever visited. Immaculate grounds, well staffed, diverse collections but not an overwhelming number of vehicles to view that you do not have time to ‘savor’ each one. The hoods are only raised on the vehicles shortly before they are being taken off display. “More engine please”. Highly recommend.
John D — Google review
This place is a good way to spend an afternoon learning about cars and other vehicles that you really don't get to see anywhere else. We come by every few months to see the new exhibits. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicles and they are always ready to answer your questions.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of downtown Cartersville, Table 20 is a delightful eatery that embodies a warm and relaxed vibe. This charming spot serves up classic American cuisine, featuring an array of meat, poultry, and seafood dishes that are sure to please any palate. The inviting atmosphere is enhanced by its modern decor—think deep hues paired with bright seating options—and a lively bar area illuminated by fluorescent lights.
Visited on a Friday night with some friends to celebrate my birthday. We had a reservation which we made online but there were a couple of tables available had we been walking in. We tried a few of the appetizers and they were all amazing!! I think if I went back I would just treat them as small plates and only order apps because they really stole the show! The pepper jelly on the deviled eggs was a game changer, the sourdough with the local honey butter was to die for, and the wontons were in a sauce we were scraping off the sides of the bowl it was so delicious. The entrees were good as well we were just all full by the time we got them. Our server was also so sweet and gave us great suggestions and stayed on top of refills. 10/10!

Table 20 is Cartersville’s little gem. The food is always delicious- although I find it pretty salty for my taste especially when the food starts getting cold. But the complimentary truffle popcorn is a great starter and so delicious. I highly recommend the Avocado + Bruschetta appetizer. I’m not a big cheese person but the bread that comes out with it has gooey bits of cheese that is so outstanding. The last time I came here, we had a waitress shadowing our waitress and both were SUPERB. Later on in the night, the shadowing waitress just became our sole server and it must have been her first few days on the job but she was outstanding and really outdid herself. I always have a great time here- thank you for the delicious food and special memories.

This place was pretty good. Definitely one of those restaurants that deconstructs or modernizes food. The food was hot and we loved the bread, my mom said her salad was amazing, fried chicken was pretty good and my husband said his chicken sandwich was better than CFA. 4 stars cause the wait staff seemed a little off and some of the food should just be left a classic

We had a great time celebrating our birthday at Table 20! The food was amazing as always. Ashley was wonderful and made our experience so enjoyable. To top it off, we had the best homemade keylime pie and whipped cream baked by the owner!

Table 20 has easily become a must visit for us to celebrate a special occasion or when friends and family come to visit. We’ve had a variety of their appetizers which are all winners and their fried chicken is one of our favorite meals to date. Love their seasonally inspired dishes, drinks and desserts, it’s so fun to see what they create!

Jerks of Cartersville is awesome and it’s like going back in time of the days the soda fountain was located in the drug stores. Amazing service and the variety of sweets is beyond amazing. I would highly recommend this place to take care of your sweet tooth!

Nestled in the heart of Cartersville, The City Cellar and Loft offers a delightful twist on Southern cuisine within a charming rustic setting. This industrial-style eatery features exposed brick walls and an inviting bar that serves as the focal point of the space. Guests can enjoy their meals on a cozy small patio or inside, where the ambiance strikes a perfect balance between classy and casual.
Loved this place! Just walked in one day randomly for dinner, the cellar has the best cozy rustic pub vibes. Sat at the bar and had a delicious cocktail, and were able to order food. I will say the lunch menu is so good and the dinner menu is excellent too. I always have a conflict in choosing between them because they're both so good! Our server was the manager I think and was so helpful to us even as her shift was ending, she guided us on recommendations and chatted with us. That really just made our visit even better. The food: Delicious, very fancy, but so flavorful. The Lamb Ragu was my favorite and some of the tenderest, most well seasoned dishes. The pasta was wonderful. We had a brie sort of appetizer that was delicious too but both were wine-forward. Can't wait to visit again!

This place is absolutely fantastic! The appetizers were a little slow in coming out. Other than that everything else was absolutely on point The cowboy burger was delicious the chicken sandwich was nice and crispy. The sweet potato fries had sweet sauce that was spectacular! We think it was like a cream cheese with sugar and cinnamon and butter mixed all together! The mushroom truffle ravioli was heavenly! We will absolutely be back every time we can afford to and we're in Cartersville!

Sam was such a great waiter! He was funny and personable and answered any questions we had since it was our first time dining there! The buttermilk chicken plate was great! The greens and Mac and cheese were delicious! Def recommend this place! Also the drinks were strong but also sweet!

We have eaten here a few times over the years and have always had a great experience. The vibe is cool and food is great! The only reason I deducted a star was because the original food items that I wanted to order they ran out of the ingredients. Our server was great though and I would try this place again!

This was our first time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The steak, risotto and collard greens were amazing. My wife had the gentleman's burger and it was unbelievably good. The only food that wasn't "good" was the sweet potato fries. They could have been a little crispier. Had the Brie bites as an appetizer with warm honey would highly recommend them. Our server was really very good and I overheard another server as well and he was just as good. The whole atmosphere was amazing and very relaxed, I loved the feeling of the "cellar" . We really had a wonderful time.

Some of the best food I have had in a long time! Everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. I ordered the ribeye, and it was cooked to absolute perfection — tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. The service was just as impressive; our drinks never went empty, and the staff was friendly and attentive especially with our toddler. From start to finish, the experience was amazing. Highly recommend this place if you want a meal that truly hits the spot!

This place never disappoints. Our experiences have always been the best. We can't say enough positive words about the staff, food, and atmosphere. Hanna, who tends the bar is always smiling and is very knowledgeable about her profession. Also, if you need a small venue, ask them about their upstairs space. We rented it for a small wedding and it was perfect!

I ate here for dinner last night and it was AMAZING! Ansley was our server, and she was so friendly and great at making recommendations. I had the citrus salad with blackened chicken and it was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere made me feel like I was at an old underground pub, which I enjoyed very much. I will definitely be back!

Yesterday, I went to Pettit Creek Farms to celebrate my daughter's 2nd birthday. The parking area is a bit far from the party spot, so keep that in mind if you have guests who struggle with walking long distances. The party area itself is outdoors and has numerous large picnic tables nestled beneath trees. The basic party package includes pony rides and a petting zoo. I decided to enhance the experience by adding a hayride, which was a big hit!
I did the guided tour this past week with my two grandchildren, ages 6 and 3. I had paid for both to have a pony ride with the assumption this would just be a small ride within a little corral at the end of the tour. When we arrived I learned that the pony ride is actually for the duration of the tour and that the parent would lead the pony. Since it was only the three of us, I needed another adult to lead one of the ponies. The staff was so gracious to find someone to join us on the tour and lead one of the ponies for me. The kids had a fabulous time and the tour guide did a great job giving us information about the animals. Both staff were so patient, giving time for the kids to get on and off the ponies, pet and feed them in the Dead heat of the day. This was a great experience and the animals are well taken care of and loved.

Oh did have fun! I brought my students and team here for a field trip. We were amazed to see the exotic animals camels, zebras, emu, etc. The students enjoyed the hay ride. We rode arose to tour the farm. The petting zoo was fun. We feed the calf and goats. They had us build a scarecrow which was hilarious! Lastly, the students ran through the hay maze, It wore them out. This place is a gem and great place to visit.

Such a fantastic place to see Christmas lights and see and do such fun things. They have camels, zebras, mini cows, goats, sheep, a flippin’ GIRAFFE! There are neat and warm fire pits stationed all around the grounds to warm up. There is a hay ride to see the beautiful well done lights. It’s clean, well kept and an overall great experience for the whole family. There’s a cash only snack booth with hot beverages and yummy fair food like snacks. Did someone say fried Oreos and funnel cake!? Yeah totally bring your family and support this family owned and operated place.

Price was definitely a little steep for not having much for an adolescent kid to do. Activities are geared more toward small children. Great place for the little ones, though.

What an awesome experience! We were in for work and while out exploring, we stumbled across the Pettit Creek Farm. After driving in the staff were phenomenal and beyond friendly! Driving around and see the animals was an awe inspiring experience! They all look so healthy, pens are clean and the animals obviously well cared for. For being a farm, very little smell and they obviously take pride in their property! Would highly recommend taking family, friends, everyone!

Terminus Wake Park is the largest cable wake park in the United States, offering two large pools and four floating zones suitable for all ages and skill levels. It provides a learn-to-ride cable for beginners and an Aqua Park with inflatable obstacle courses over the water. The park is perfect for those who enjoy sliding around on inflatable courses, jumping in the water, and trying not to wipe out.
We had my friend’s birthday party here. It was amazing, so much fun. Everything was straight forward and taken care of. We enjoyed pizza and drinks. We will be coming back!

Super fun and beginner friendly. Great if you already have experience on a boat, just have to get used to the cable tugging you around (stick to the left). Staff was friendly and encouraging. Decently busy, went for Father’s Day, but still wasn’t unbearable. Would recommend going after 3pm.

Amazing place to learn wakeboarding! The Moms and Mimosas lessons are a fantastic way for women (even those of us a bit out of shape) to learn to wakeboard. The slow ropes times on Saturday mornings also give an awesome chance to learn in an unintimidating environment! Go as a family, and kiddos can play on the whole inflatable obstacle course. They have trained lifeguards watching the whole time, too. Mine will play here for as long as we allow!

The Aqua Park is the PERFECT activity when you have teenagers! So much fun. We could all play. Only 1.5 hours south of Chattanooga, it's a great day trip! Plenty of covered seats to watch if you don't play. Free parking in a parking lot. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Lots of restaurants nearby.

We celebrated our kiddos 11th birthday party here today. What an experience!!! Katelyn was our party host and she was excellent and kind. They are so helpful getting things from the car to our cabana and back. We had some issues and they gave us help by advising us how to get the best out of our day. Our kid and the guests all said they wanted to have their parties there next year!!! What a win…big thank you from TEAM Todisco!!!

Park is ok, but I was not impressed with the wakeboard camp for the summer. Our son only went 2 days out of the week we paid for. It was his first time learning, and we thought it would be faster, and he would learn more with professionals. He was not really giving any entry beginner directions more than hold on. He spent the entire 2 days being pulled up and falling within 8 feet because he was not shown the mechanics. We had to instead take him out the next weekend on the lake with friends to teach him. Once we showed him the transitions and the movements, he had it down within an hour or so.

What a fun place! We did the aqua park and it was a blast. 50 minutes is entirely enough time to be wiped out after running around on it. The inflatables looked pretty new and the life jackets were nice. My only negative is that the lifeguard let a bunch of boys roughhouse on the course, causing one of my smaller kids to fall in unexpectedly. Overall, it was a really fun place!

My family took a trip here on a Sunday at 10 am. 49, 47, 17, and 11. Everyone had a great time. It was the first time for the two oldest and the youngest. THe staff was very helpful and patient with us. My youngest got a private lesson which was a game changer for her as she was nervous to try at first. We all were able to stand by the 4th attempt. Natasha was in charge of the carrier that day and she was amazing. She definitely made the day better with her instruction and attitude. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

Nestled just off the bustling streets of downtown Cartersville, Drowned Valley Brewing Company stands as the city's first craft brewery, offering a perfect retreat after a day of adventure. This charming establishment, housed in a transformed mechanic shop, boasts an inviting ambiance complete with an outdoor fire pit and a diverse selection of over 16 beers and seltzers on tap. Whether you're seeking a refreshing Long Gone Blonde or indulging in the rich flavors of Bartow Brown, there's something for every palate.
Not only are we frequent guest at the brewery, we rented the Carlton Room for our son’s first birthday party! Great experience! Manager was very attentive, had tables/chairs set up for us upon arriving. It includes a nice catering kitchen with a fridge, warmers and more! 100% will be using this space again for future gatherings! Specific wall tape used for their walls :)

I moved out of town before this place opened, but I still return on a regular basis for work and visits to the extended family. I finally had an opportunity during one of those visits to check it out, and I'm glad I did (but disappointed this wasn't here when I was a local). I showed up before the evening crowd arrived so I had the place to myself for a little while. Enjoyed the conversation with my bartender, along with the opportunity to discuss the various brews on tap. Everything I tried was good, and I especially liked the hazy IPA featured that day. Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, dog-friendly, available games, good beer, and convenient location. I like it.

Until tonight I have told everyone that this is mine and my wife’s favorite brewery. We regularly go once a week. I have hosted parties in the brewery and rented the event space bringing 100’s of people with me. Tonight we were at the outpost and two of the owners (Dean and his wife) completely stepped over the line. They were trying to get grass to grow back in a small area beside the playground. Kids were playing and some of them got inside the caution tape. The owners didn’t come and ask the parents to help keep the kids out of the area, they yelled at the kids. The parents addressed the owner by apologizing, and explaining that their son was autistic and did not understand nor recognize the caution tape. The owner continued to berate him stating “the kid is not the problem, it’s the parent’s failure to watch their kid”. The dad continued to try to explain and apologize and the owners continued to berate him causing a huge disruption for everyone there. The parent went inside and spoke to the manager and came back outside and things continued to escalate. In my opinion, the owners were completely out of line. It is ridiculous to set up an area that is “family friendly” has a playground with outdoor toys and then loose your mind when your patrons kids use it. My party of 5 finished our drinks and left, on the way out I spoke with Casey, the manager (who is amazing) and expressed my displeasure with the behavior of the owners. Additionally, I spoke to the owner on my way out and expressed my opinion of his and his wife’s behavior. This is definitely the worst example of customer service I have ever seen, not sure we will ever visit this establishment again.

Drowned Valley has been a wonderful addition to Cartersville and our family. The atmosphere is ALWAYS family and dog friendly. Being a big foodie family, Drowned Valley has upped their game every year when it comes to food trucks. They find a wonderful variety of flavorful foods. Starting out with only a handful of beers, their menu has grown exponentially. Any level of beer or seltzer drinker can easily find their seasonal favorite. Last, but not least is the staff. There has never been a time where we have come in that they have not welcomed us by name. They create a warm and welcoming environment that adds to the hometown charm of Cartersville. If you have not had the chance to stop in, you are missing out on an amazing experience.

Lakepoint Station is the ultimate destination for family fun in Northwest Georgia, offering a plethora of activities that cater to all ages. Whether you're scaling the impressive 28-foot indoor rock climbing wall or engaging in an exhilarating game of laser tag, there's no shortage of excitement. Families can also enjoy mini-golf, bowling, and rollerball—an exciting twist on traditional bowling. For those looking to unwind, options like disc golf and kayaking are available amidst beautiful surroundings.
This place is a perfect alternative to Stars & Strikes or similar “arcade focused” locations. Their climbing wall was perfect for my six year old and was right across from massage chairs. So I could easily keep my eye on them while getting a quick chair massage. Facilities were clean and well organized. Felt safe and not overly stimulating. Enough variety we easily spent most of the day there without breaking the bank. Disney level quality in my kid’s opinion.

Lakepoint Station deserves more than 5 stars—it's a 6-star experience! We brought our entire soccer team here after a tournament, and the staff was absolutely incredible. They handled a huge group of rowdy players with smiles and impressive efficiency. The arcade is awesome with a huge variety of games, and the climbing area was a massive hit. The kids had a blast competing against each other and burning off all their extra energy. It’s the perfect place for a team celebration or just a fun day out. We were so impressed with the management of the crowd and the fantastic atmosphere. Highly, highly recommend!

First time here. For a Saturday, it was not overly crowded! Had my son's birthday party here and it was GREAT. Booking was easy, many activities to choose from, AFFORDABLE, and had a bar/restaurant for us adults. The party room is a great size and our host was great. They have a timeline for your party and everything just flowed. The kids enjoyed themselves and the adults had fun at the bar. The drinks at the bar are very affordable and we're made to perfection. It was the perfect combo. Probably one of the best places to have a kids party. I was very satisfied and had a very happy kid who enjoyed his birthday celebration at this place. I definitely recommend. I'd come back.

My dad and I took my son here on a Friday night. It wasn’t too busy. I was a little nervous as it was our first time and my son is on the Autism spectrum and is also non verbal. We had two great employees helping us, Abby and Andrew. They helped me harness my son in good and I told them he’d need a little extra help at times and they were so understanding. My boy had so much fun!! As an Autism parent it isn’t always common that you have encounters with employees that are inclusive and patient enough to go the extra mile to help your child. I can’t speak for all the employees at Lakepoint. But, if they run a team that includes people like Abby and Andrew, you’ll be in great hands if you want to take your sensory seeker here for some fun! Thanks again Lakepoint for being so helpful, inclusive and supportive during our experience! We’ll be back!

Old Car City USA, located in White, Georgia, is a renowned classic junkyard that dates back to 1931. Spanning over 34 acres of land with more than 4,000 unsalvageable mid-century American steel classic cars and six miles of walking trails, it's a paradise for photographers and car enthusiasts alike. The founder has turned this collection into an art project rather than just a junkyard.
This place is AMAZING. It rained the whole time we were there, but it was still cool. My wife loves old cars too, but not as much as I do. My buddies and I could easily spend a couple of days out there looking at and talking about cars. Try to plan for a whole day there. We did cut it short because of the rain, but it was still a blast.

You know the old saying --"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". That definitely held true today as my brother and I toured Old Car City in Cartersville, GA. I know some of you are going to look through these photos and say, "Good grief, this is nothing more than a junkyard?". And in some respects, you may be right. But this place is so much more than a resting place for rusting relics of the past. It is a museum of Americana in the form of steel, chrome, glass and upholstery. It is a cathedral of art from designers and craftsmen who have passed on to eternity. It is an homage to the machines that developed from simplistic transportation into high-powered expressions of individual freedom and luxury. Instead of the soulless mishmash of styles and trends we have today, automobiles from yester-year made a statement even when standing motionless; even when silently awaiting a turn of a key and a burble from an exhaust pipe. My, how times have changed -- most for the better from the standpoint of safety, economy and environmental impact. But oh how the eye of art has been clouded with mediocrity. If you consider yourself an automobile afficenado, you MUST make a pilgrimage to Old Car City. Please go and pay your respects to the lost age of style, beauty and flamboyance. But don't expect to dash in, snap a few photos and say that you had seen it all because (get ready for this) if you travel down every lane, alley, trail, twist and turn, you will have walked 7 MILES amongst thousands of the grandest man-made art forms on the face of earth.

If you're a photographer and love old and abandoned things like I do you will definitely love this place! Also, as a car enthusiast you will love this place but you'll also be sad at the same time seeing some of the cars that can't be saved. It's 100% worth the stop, the money, and the time to go walk around, it truly feels like you've stepped back in time. There's not many places like this left around, see it while you can, and don't forget to thank the owner for keeping a place like this around for all of us to enjoy!
Diffy S — Google review
As a car enthusiast, this place was remarkable to see such a vast collection of vehicles in a picturesque setting. Over 4,400 vehicles and miles of trailers to walk. It is sad to see these vehicles essentially rot away but the idea of them all laid to rest in one area to appreciate was a great idea and we appreciated the effort to curate this venue. Far too easy to scrap and not have anything left but this is like a capsule in time. Thinking about who may have owned these cars, what roads they travelled and what stories they hold over the past 90’s years gave me the goosebumps to think about it. Well worth it. Thank you to the family who first set this local general store up back in the 30’s and had the vision for this

One man's trash (or junk cars, in this case) is another man's treasure is an understatement!! This 34-acre junkyard art of over 4000 classic cars is definitely worth visiting. There are rows and rows of antique cars, some staged in very interesting ways. My husband and I arrived around 10:30am and it was almost 2pm before we left!! Plenty photo opportunities. There is a $10 charge for picture taking but don't let that stop you cause there is still plenty to see. And don't forget to check out the Styrofoam Cup Collection...

Old Car City USA is a hiking trip down memory lane. We had a great time exploring the many acres of random rusted carnage that is scatter throughout the woods. The trails take you winding through stacks of bikes, mounds of cars and rows of delivery vans. You could spend every day of the year here and find new treasures buried beneath fallen pine needles and leaves. Well worth the entrance fee.

Wonderful well maintained trail. A moderate climb and a great place to pack a luck and relax at the peak taking in the view
Stephanie A — Google review
Moderate hike with nice views at the top. The trails were well maintained, but be sure to review your directions before heading out as there are several trails in this system and it can get a little confusing. I can't speak for all cell service companies, but I had service on these trails and was helpful to navigate. It really isn't too difficult of a hike, so this would be a good spot for those getting into hiking and want to try out an easier mountain before heading up further North to some more difficult hikes.
Sara N — Google review
The trail up Pine Mountain is pretty similar to the main Kennesaw Mountain trail, length, elevation and grade wise. Unlike Kennesaw Mountain, though, Pine Mountain is a lot less crowded and parking is a lot easier, at least as of February 2020. At the summit of Pine Mountain is a rocky outcrop. The view from this outcrop is somewhat narrow in that you can only see to the west and south. Thus, the main features you'll see at the top are downtown Cartersville and Sweat Mountain. Nevertheless, Pine Mountain is still an excellent hike that takes only about an hour.

Cooper's Furnace Day Use Area is a tranquil park filled with lush trees and historical landmarks. It offers various amenities such as hiking trails, covered picnic spots, and recreational facilities like horse shoe stakes and a volleyball net. Families can enjoy the playground equipment while taking in the beautiful views without having to hike up. The park also provides opportunities for bird-watching, with a dedicated area for pollinators near the furnace.
A pretty place for a small getaway. The place Is so calm and peaceful. You can come this place for birthday parties at a very nominal cost. Their day use shelters has benches, play area next to it and right next to the river. There are few walking trails around which are very scenic and pretty. There is plenty of parking available. They also have a disk gold nearby

Great walking, awesome view of Allatoona dam, nice riverside picnic spot and a little bit of history mixed in. Fun afternoon.

Awesome, little quiet area with picnic tables and grills down by the river and a nature hike trail.
Jon M — Google review
Clean and picturesque. A nice spot for picnics, family time, walking the dog, kite flying, etc. We did a bit of walking and let the kids play at the playground. There was a family having a large get together and cooking on the grill. There is a cool iron works located at the entrance but there is a fence stopping you from walking over to it directly. I took off one star because the place was infested with gnats and the playground equipment was filthy, like it hadn’t been cleaned off since it was built.
The C — Google review
Love this park. Easy trail that is rewarding once you reach the top. This trail does connect to Pine Mountain trail as well. The park boasts picnic structures, the historic furnace, clearly defined trails, stairs down to the water (where I've seen otters), and an interpretative nature center at the top of the trail which can be driven to...somehow...but I've never taken the time to figure that out. Walk more; drive less.
Nikki W — Google review
Nice little park and historical site along the river. Day use areas available for reservations, but don't seem to be reserved much. Kids play area and picnic sights. You can take the trail up to the Lake Allatoona Visiting Center and Museum, but you cannot drive to it from here. Getting to the Visitation center by car requires an extensive drive.

Has always been a nice park with lots of history. If you don't want to hike up for the beautiful views there is horse shoe stakes set up, volleyball net, play ground equipment for kids and nice park area. Take a lunch and plan for a nice day.

Bruster's Real Ice Cream is a delightful counter-serve chain that takes pride in crafting their ice cream fresh on-site every single day. With nearly thirty flavors to choose from, including beloved classics like chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry, it’s no wonder families often find themselves savoring the experience together. Recently opened in Cartersville, this location has already made a splash with its warm customer service; visitors rave about the friendly staff who are eager to help you navigate your flavor choices.
Fresh, made daily, friendly service. Right in the Target plaza, off Main St. behind Applebee's. We can bring our Dog and get a Pup Cup, unlike the places Downtown. That's a definite Plus for us! (Choice of Whipped Cream or Vanilla ice cream for the pup cup).

09/13/24 (8:30PM): Do not waste your money on the "Warm" Apple Dumplings for $9.00. This was far from warm as the apples were frozen. I went up to get confused looks. I was told that they must have not warmed it up enough. They remade it to receive a warm crust and ice cold apples still. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Emilee vas very rude. She also loaded my ice cream with fudge. There was more fudge than ice cream. When she gave me the ice cream it was already soup. She at one point refused to serve us bc she did not like who I was with. Very unprofessional from her part.
Fabianna C — Google review
Ordered 2 kids cups"1 scoop", and 2 smalls "2 scoops" my wife's small came out in the same size cup as my kids, while mine came out in a significantly larger cup. It only looked like 1 scoop I said something to the girl working and she tried to convince me it was 2 scoops pushed down, then told me the scoops are different sizes, then she told me she didn't know she didn't make it. Pictures is my sons kids cup with a few bites gone "1 scoop" my wife's " 2 scoops on the right" and my 2 scoops towering over hers. It doesn't make much sense.

I usually use the Brusters in Kennesaw, Marietta, and powder Springs. But I just moved to Cartersville so I decided to try the Brusters here. I always get the cotton candy explosion. It has been one of my biggest pregnancy cravings so I was really excited to get it but this is definitely not cotton candy explosion. It was a huge letdown and it honestly didn’t even taste good at all. I was not able to finish it. Cotton candy explosion is supposed to be a cotton candy ice cream, which is usually pink or blue or a mix of the two with red and blue pop rocks in it. they gave me vanilla ice cream with pop rocks in it. I don’t know why they are calling this cotton candy. After they handed it to me, I asked if this was cotton candy ice cream and they said yes. After I tasted it, I can definitely guarantee that it is just regular vanilla. It also has a very grainy texture. I am definitely not going to go to this Brusters again which really sucks because I love Brusters but the whole reason why I love Brusters so much is because of the cotton candy explosion. I also asked for a cone so that it would be easier for me to eat while driving and they asked if they can just put it in a cup. Of course I said yes because I didn’t want to be rude.
Mylie M — Google review
Sat in drive thru for 15 minutes. Paid over $7 for a medium (three scoops) of ice cream and didn’t even get one full scoop of ice cream.
Carrie A — Google review
The Cartersville location is horrible. They never have the non-dairy flavors, their staff seems like they are more worried about getting your order out ASAP so they can go back to standing around, they never ask for your phone number for rewards, and I asked for a free kids cone as the brusters in Dalton offers and the attendant gave me a cake cone with nothing in it. My family and I frequent the Dalton location and they set a very high bar. This one gives a bad name to your franchise. Please do not waste your money here. I visited there on 7/14 at 9 pm.

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill offers a variety of soft-serve ice cream and unique shakes as their main attractions. They also serve classic burgers and fries. It would be convenient if they allowed customers to enter the restaurant and order takeout instead of solely relying on the drive-thru option. While waiting, two cars ahead decided to leave rather than wait any longer. Although there was a lengthy wait time, it wasn't an issue for those not in a rush.
Fast food quality “beef” similar to other fast food chains. Seemed short staffed and the place was lacking on cleanliness and tidiness. Stock of cups and baskets were stacked in the hallway to the bathroom. The few employees who were there were very friendly and efficient at getting food out to the customers.
Colton L — Google review
3 out of the 4 things I ordered were not correct. Asked for a chicken fingers with gravy. Got ranch. Asked for a small blizzard got a medium. Ask for a mini Oreo & reeces blizzard. Just got Oreo. Went in to correct the ranch for a gravy and the lady wanted to argue that I ordered ranch. Watch what they charge you for here & make sure they repeat your order back to you or they will give you what they want you to have.
Miranda R — Google review
I went to dq to get some ice cream for me and my wife. I ordered a large cookie dough blizzard and a large Oreo blizzard with extra Oreos. The cookie dough blizzard was just a liquid and the Oreo blizzard wasn’t even mixed. I mean how hard is it to make a blizzard and then charge almost 15 bucks for crap you can get better and cheaper anywhere else. If I wanted soup I’d grab some from the store. I assume that when I go try to get a refund it’ll be just as bad. Never coming back here again

Staff wasnt to friendly, the place was DISGUSTING. The tables werent clean, the floors were sticky, the bathrooms were awful. They werent super busy for it to be looking the way it did. The staff were more about joking around with each other and talking. The conversation they were having was not work appropriate with customers in the lobby. Definitely needs a remodel.

Dairy Queen an ice cream joint told me tonight that they do not carry chocolate ice cream after I ordered a chocolate m&m ice cream at the drive-thru and they said okay and they took my order and then I get to the window and she hands me vanilla m&m and I tried correcting her and she says oh we don't carry chocolate that literally blows my mind. Didn't argue. Just took it paid for it. I just can't believe what happened. 😂
Tabitha D — Google review
Visted a few times for a simple chocolate dipped cone and every time I have recieved a sub-par cone. The flavor is fine but this location lacks the ability to serve a cone that you would expect from a DQ. On top of that the location is dirty and the staff seem like they are barely going through the motions. I will not be coming back to this location.

My daughter and I love this play place! There is a wide variety of activities she can do and a lot of different toys to play with. The front desk woman I’ve seen in the few times we’ve been there has been SO friendly and sweet and helpful. She makes sure everything is clean and that everyone is being safe. Highly recommend!

My daughter (2) loves this place! It is safe and clean and has tons of options for us as a family to play together or for her to play independently. I really enjoy the setup of the space so that there are various areas dedicated to specific types of play as my daughter does enjoy being able to choose. The price is AMAZING given all that is offered; we have loved this option in lieu of the park when it is rainy and/or cold. My *only* complaint would be bathroom cleanliness, but I also recognize that the employees cannot account for the fact that children are at different stages of bathroom usage and understanding for cleaning up after themselves. The bathrooms are cleaner than most restaurants so I really am hard-pressed to be upset. Friendly staff that just let the kids be kids. I appreciated that.

From authentic Mexican cuisine to Southern fine dining, there's something for every palate. They had a festival in the square, live music, and vendors were being trick or treated by tiny ghouls and witches and if was fun. We also had our No Kings rally, and got 10 to 1 thumbs up to middle fingers. I like Cartersville. It is charming. Most of the folks are cool. Gonna be a few crimson necks. Ignore 'em.
Fancy M — Google review
Downtown Cartersville absolutely makes this little city. It’s small, with historic buildings and some really great independent restaurants (as well as Mellow Mushroom, an Atlanta favorite chain). It’s also a legalized “entertainment district”, allowing you to walk around its borders with open containers from the local restaurants. Just park and walk around. May-September, you can catch a fabulous farmers market every Saturday from 8am-12pm with small local vendors, too! Cons: Be mindful of the train! There is an active railroad with freight trains running right through downtown. You may get stuck waiting to cross the tracks for a while, and these little old streets get congested quickly. I’ve been there once before when the train actually stopped, blocking us from getting to our car for over an hour.
Brian W — Google review
Such a wonderful small town feel. Lots of music for the night life, good drinks, good food depending on what you're looking for.

Downtown Cartesville is changing from a wholesome family friendly place, except on Pub Crawl nights, into an “R” rated business district. I will not take my grandchildren down the streets where I have to explain window displays that promote adult entertainment. Local wholesome businesses will soon start losing business from those in the community who choose not to subject their children or themselves to such sights that cannot be erased from the mind. Pray for those businesses who do not approve(which are many). It is a shame one immoral business model, whose main objective is to deceive and sue will effect so many in our community. Someone or some entity failed the people of Cartesville.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Downtown Cartersville, Georgia is a cute and charming shopping area with lots of character. Even though a handful of shops on Main Street were closed, there were still plenty of unique boutiques, restaurants, and little local spots to explore. The area has a welcoming feel and is great for a relaxing stroll. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and enjoy small-town vibes!

It's a hit and miss for downtown cartersville, a lot of times right after 3 pm on weekdays, traffic is unbelievable, very congested area. Also, rolling stops the drivers are not courteous. They also block intersections when the light turns red, they try to get through and block the whole intersection, causing a traffic jam and dare to honk your horn To me, traffic really dampens downtown Everybody's needs are more important than yours. When it comes to traffic other than that downtown cartersdale is a good place to go.

Wiggle Worms, LLC is a charming and compact indoor playground that offers a delightful experience for children. Unlike larger establishments like Kids Empire, it provides just the right amount of space for kids to freely explore while allowing parents to relax and observe. The facility includes a designated area for toddlers under 2 years old and operates with a flexible policy that allows visitors to come and go throughout the day after paying admission.
Wiggle Worms is the best place to bring your kiddos! The owners are so kind, caring and constantly want to bring more and more to the play area! Toys are always clean and well maintained! There is a separate party room we are booking for our kiddos birthday! Unlimited plays and unlimited same day passes are great! It makes it entirely worth it. They also have membership passes for moms or dads that really need a place to come and take a break!!

The place was busy for a Sunday evening. The kids had a fun time playing. It was a good value for the money. The staff was knowledgeable about party info. My only criticism was that the mats looked dirty, and my kids kept finding candy I had to take from them while playing the play area. They probably need a deep cleaning.

Never heard anything else from them so I thought all was good until today (the day of the party) I pull up with my family and a 4 year old super excited to have a great day with family and friends celebrating him to find a hand written note saying sorry closed…. No calls no emails no text, just straight disappointment. My child was so sad. I have called and messaged with the only response from an ex employee saying the owner was in a coma however according the the LLC listing the owners wife (the one that ran it) is in jail with over 50 felony charges.

I work in Atlanta and live in cartersville so I leave early and get home late bc of traffic. The lady’s at back yard building movers inc helped me out tremendously!!!! I never even had to go up to the business did everthing over the phone from ordering to payment to delivery. They called me the day before and scheduled my delivery. The day of the delivery they had a driver call out and they contacted me immediately and let me know the situation. Said they should be able to still deliver it today and would keep me updated. And they did!!! Called me said the driver would be there in 30 mins to pick my building up and would be on the way to my house. 45 mins past and the driver called me and let me know he was on his way. Got home this evening and the building was sitting where I wanted it and perfectly leveled. Wish I could remember the names of the lady’s and driver who delivered it but unfortunately I don’t so thank y’all for all your help!!!!

Terrible company to do business with. I received many lies. I was told my building would be ready in 6 to 8 weeks, wasn't ready until 14 weeks later. I was told there would be no problem getting an Outswing door on my building. They confirmed they had those doors in their yard. But I ended up without that door. I was hung up on the phone many times. I left many messages to please call me back but no one ever called me back. When my building was finally delivered the outside was filthy, covered in dried dirt. Very very disappointed with this company.
