Feel like I have been ripped off with this place so won't be using them again. Requested an oil change for a 2008 ford fiesta and top up fluids to be told £215, on collecting the car I was shocked to find they have gone and changed air filters which I did not ask to be done so added this on so what should be £90 ended up being expensive as it needed to. After collecting the car I was then told the break pads are wearing thing despite them doing work just a couple of months ago on the suspension and the coil spring needing to be changed so I'm not sure why they could not tell me this then. If they cant bring up the most important issues when needing to I would thing twice about using this place when doing your MOT.

I have used L and C Motors on two occasions, both times they have been a very friendly and trustworthy team, providing an excellent service all round with reasonable prices. Dave and the technicians took the time to talk me through a diagnosis and options for work. They made a follow up phone call, demonstrating they really are invested in providing a good service. They also went the extra mile and helped me to organise moving my vehicle. 10/10 would use again and recommend. Tim.

Great little garage in Swadlincote. Really friendly staff too. Nothing is too much trouble for them and very reasonable priced compared to others. And if its an emergency like I had they will do their best to fit you in . Top marks .

Excellent experience every time: Relatives of mine have been going here for years and have always been looked after. I live an hour away and chose here when I was told by a more local garage an issue with my engine was irreparable. L&C got this sorted for me saving me thousands (no exaggeration).

My daughter started an incredibly shy little girl who hated to leave my side. with thought out key worker placement my daughter has thrived. she loves her days at our monkey club, with a great friendship group and such kind caring staff. she is leaving super confident and fully ready for big girl school. i cannot thank them enough for the care they have shown her in her time there.

Our monkey club is a great place to send your children. They had my little girl since she was 2 till she was ready for big school and she loved it they helped her so much her brother died just before she started and we didn’t think she was ready. But they helped her so much and made sure if she needed someone they was there to support. She is now 8 and still will say hello to them. Now my little boy who is 3 attends the setting and he started when he was 1 and half and he still loves it as much as the 1st day. They support the family as well as the child. I wouldn’t send my kids anywhere else.

My son has been attending our monkey club since he was 10 months old and I went back to work full time. In that time the team at our monkey club have become very much a part of our family. All of the staff that have cared for my son have always been approachable of I've had any questions about how my son is doing or if I've had any worries. Myself and my husband work varied and sometimes long hours but the staff have always been flexible and understanding which has made it easier to be able to leave our son in their care. They keep him engaged all day and he always comes home to tell me about different activities he has taken part in. Whilst covid has made things different in the setting, there has always been someone to listen to concerns and ensure that the best is done for the children.

Our little boy joined Our Monkey Club 6 weeks ago and has settled in amazingly. In that time he has formed beautiful bonds with a number of the girls there, especially Nicole, Melissa and Emily. We receive regular updates on what he’s been getting up to during his day with lovely pictures showing how much fun he’s having exploring and making new friends. We also receive updates on everything from how much he has eaten to when he’s had a nappy change. We have always felt comfortable and confident that we are leaving our little boy in the best hands.

My son had never had any experience of a nursery setting or even spent a single second without a family member being with him being almost 4 I thought I would have a massive issue with this transition. My son now looks forward to the days he spends at our monkey club he loves every second. The staff are lovely and great with the children my son has plenty of storeys to tell me of his fun times. I fully recommend our monkey club Burton on Trent .

My son has been attending Our Monkey Club for almost 2 years and I can’t recommend it enough. The level of care is outstanding. The staff are so involved with the children and my son absolutely adores them and talks about them at home as if they were family. He can be really shy and would cry when I left him on a morning but the staff were brilliant and would help soothe him and then let me know when he’d settled. Within no time at all he was so happy to go in and his confidence has blossomed. They provide such a fun learning environment and have such a wide range of activities laid out for the children that I feel no day is the same and he has so much fun. His development has been wonderful to see. The communication from the nursery is also great and nothing like I’ve experienced before. Photos and posts are uploaded onto the Famly app so we can see what he’s being doing throughout the day. As a parent this is so reassuring and it helps to ease the guilt of having to leave him to go to work when I see he’s having so much fun. There’s always someone to talk to at drop off and pick up if needed and the key workers are always on hand if you have any questions. Management are fab too and Michelle was so reassuring during all of the Covid changes. I often see her playing and being hands on with the children which is lovely to see. My oldest son also used to attend the holiday club before Covid struck and he loved it. He can’t wait to get back. I really couldn’t recommend OMC more, the staff are wonderful, caring, knowledgeable and fun .I can’t thank them enough for looking after my children so well and providing the best care possible.

My daughter started at Our Monkey club around 4 weeks ago and it has been the best decision I have made. I went to look around quite a few nurseries and I was just really impressed with what I saw at OMC. The staff are so welcoming and warming towards my daughter. I feel the app they use is brilliant to keep me updated on what my daughter has been doing during her sessions and it is lovely to see her engaged in so many different areas of the nursery. I would highly recommend OMC to anyone looking for a nursery.

A great school, both of my children went here. The staff are friendly, approachable and are always at hand should you need questions answered. As an introduction to your child's school life, you can't go wrong with Newhall infants.

A beautiful ancient small church with a great community. Come and worship with us.

I have an abiding interest in railway locomotives and where better to visit than Netherseal, the final resting place of Sir H. Nigel Gresley, former Chief Engineer of LNER and designer of Flying Scotsman, and the world record holder (at 126mph in steam) Mallard. His grave is a short walk (100 meters) from the church towards the village and across the road. At the graveyard entrance is a fitting explanation of his achievements. Most certainly a gentleman I'd loved to have met. Don't miss this if in the vicinity. On the day of my visit I was entranced by the presence of pheasants in the main churchyard and squirrels bounding about. They took no notice of me. His wood work still remains in the church from his days at Marlborough. Two Bishops chairs and a reader.

I was born in Netherseale in 1955. I have found memories of my early childhood, growing up on Hunts Lane. Infants school at St Peters from the age of four. We left for a new house in Measham when I was about 8 or 9. I remember playing in the river mease on Chilcote Lane. Bike riding all around. Playing with friends. Lots of people coming into the garden on fireworks night for bonfire toffee, toffee apples and hot dogs. Watching the blacksmith shoe the horses on dog lane. Going to the chip shop on dog lane as well. Summers playing among the hay bales and straw in the fields.
