I have known Travis and his dad Mark for many years. I admire them and their ministry. They are truly men of God.

I really enjoy the hour of worship and praise before Pastor Travis does a wonderful job speaking the word of God to us! I really look forward to being at church on Sundays. I am blessed to have found this church.

A Christ centered environment with powerful messages that aren't the watered down institutional swill you'd expect from other churches this size. If you want a blessing, get here and be fed!

I love my church home; been here 28 years. The pastor's are great and we have a great ministry to children and teens.
Janet C — Google review
Beautiful church with stunningly big sanctuary with awestriking stained glass windows. It has second floor seating and the speakers at the funeral I attended were as captivating as the musicians were magnificent. It was as joyous as I think a funeral can be and that's exactly how I believed the departed would have it.

Liberty Square has been around for 80+ years, but doesn't have the feel of an old congregation. I love that! So many young families make this unique place their house of prayer because their children get quality teaching in a safe environment. Families of all ages are welcome and it is so great to see all races worshiping together!

If I could give no stars I definitely would my friend is getting ready to have surgery and she needed help with her rent just for this month but was told that they couldn’t help her because her situation isn’t sustainable so now her and her kids are going to be out on the streets because this church is no help, but were willing to help other people Who aren’t black get a car and pay their rent, but won’t help a single mother who needs dire help. This isn’t a holy church at all discriminating against people based off of their color.

Loved the church. Especially thought the interactive room upstairs was very nice and very thoughtful for those that may have social anxiety or special needs. Good size building with a very open and welcoming staff.

We are from Saint Augustine, FL and have been visiting family here in the area for a few weeks. During our stay we have attended "Cartersville First Baptist Church". The church was warm and friendly. Pastor Jeremy is a phenomenal minister and his sermons challenged me to grow in my faith and walk with the Lord. The church is very involved in the community and reaches out to minister to others. If we lived here permently, this is the "Family of God" I would want to be a part of.

Church
Crosspoint City Church is a vibrant and welcoming community that truly embodies the spirit of acceptance and love. With its casual atmosphere, where blue jeans, t-shirts, and sneakers are perfectly acceptable attire, it invites everyone to feel at home. The teachings delivered by Pastor James resonate deeply with attendees, making spiritual growth accessible even for those who may not have time for traditional Bible study. Many find themselves uplifted by the engaging sermons and heartfelt music during services.
I am truly grateful to be a part of this wonderful church! Although it is a larger congregation, it maintains an intimate atmosphere that feels just like home. The sense of community and love here is palpable, making everyone feel welcome and valued. My family and I have been exceptionally blessed since we joined. The teachings and fellowship have profoundly impacted our lives, helping us grow spiritually and connect with others. It’s incredible to witness how this church fosters genuine relationships and support amongst its members. If you're looking for a place where you can feel the warmth of a loving community while also growing in your faith, this church is the perfect place. We are so thankful to be a part of such an inspiring and caring family! A major plus is the children are extremely protected in the children’s classes. They guard every exit door to ensure the children stay safe. They also offer a sensory room and welcome everyone with open arms. My daughter has autism and they’ve been very accommodating and loving thus far. Crosspoint is such a blessing ❤️ When I say everyone is welcome, I mean it.

Crosspoint City Church has truly changed my life in ways I never imagined. From the moment we walked in, my spouse and I felt welcomed, supported, and part of a community that genuinely cares. The messages and teachings have helped me grow spiritually, while also giving my marriage a fresh perspective and strength. We’ve learned to communicate better, forgive more freely, and focus on what really matters. The worship, the leadership, and the fellowship here aren’t just inspiring—they’re transformative. Crosspoint isn’t just a church; it’s a place where lives and relationships are renewed, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it.

I used to go there for years with my parents. But once they started saying science wasn't real I stopped going there. They started talking about science like it was fiction. They said science didn't exist and it was all the work of God and Jesus.

Catholic church
St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church is truly a cherished sanctuary for many, often described as a second home by its devoted parishioners. Despite the distance, individuals willingly make the 25-minute drive to attend services here, drawn by the warmth and welcoming atmosphere fostered by engaging priests like Father Juan and Father Kevin. The church not only offers beautiful surroundings but also cultivates a strong sense of community through various social events and opportunities for spiritual growth.
This church is absolutely beautiful! I wish I'd had more time to spend here. Fr Kevin is fantastic. We miss him at St Matthew's in Tyrone, but I'm so willing to make the drive up to St Francis for Confession and other services. It's a lovely location, not too far off the interstate, and it's a beautiful drive to enjoy some praise music! I will be returning and bringing friends and family!!

A very involved parish! Engaging priest who seems to know his congregation and engage all would attend services. Parishioners offered post funeral luncheon to support the family and friends of a passed member. Many opportunities for social engagement and religious education or expression of faith. A beautiful community.

Baptist church
Tabernacle Baptist Church is a vibrant community where believers come together to share in the love of Christ and spread messages of hope. Recently, I had the pleasure of attending their Christmas Music Service, which was nothing short of magical. With a choir boasting 90 members and an orchestra of 30, the atmosphere was filled with joy as we celebrated amidst beautiful decorations that illuminated the church's white walls. From my very first visit to Tabernacle Baptist Church, I felt an immediate sense of belonging.
I attended the Christmas Music Service with my family last night. 90 members in the Choir, 30 members in the Orchestra, combined with the full house and Christmas decorations glowing against the white walls made this a celebration that I will always remember. Merry Christmas

I live Tabernacle Baptist Church! From the first visit I felt comfortable and accepted! There many classes you can visit, activities you can join, and close friendships made. The best thing is the Biblical teaching! I invite you all to visit! 31 Douglas St, Cartersville, Ga

This is not a church for the poor man. There’s a really big emphasis on the tithe and on mission trips, and it’s unfortunately as corrupt as most Southern Baptist churches. You’d be better off going to St Francis Church or even first Presbyterian.
Solana H — Google review
Excellent loving and caring church. They reach out and help in so many ways in the community. The Pastor is a bible believing compassionate, convicted preacher who brings the word solid every Sunday. Many programs and classes for all ages of children and adults. The staff from the senior Pastor to the custodial staff are very loving and top notch.

Nice place to worship. Very friendly people. Great choir and interesting message from the pastor.

Pretty good music and spot on preaching- I just wish someone would introduce themselves and see how my day is going - weird to feel alone and isolated inside of church.

They preached the truth. Good music with lots of music instruments. But the preacher don't seem to get real excited and get into it. Nobody is jumping up and down for Joy feeling the holy Spirit. So it's kinda dead.

Methodist church
Nestled in the heart of Cartersville, Trinity United Methodist Church is more than just a place of worship; it’s a vibrant community that embraces everyone with warmth and acceptance. Many families, like one that recently moved to the area, have found their spiritual home here after seeking a church that goes beyond Sunday services. The welcoming atmosphere at Trinity has made newcomers feel like part of the family almost instantly.
It is with abundant gratitude that we were led to Trinity United Methodist Church. During our first visit, we were warmly welcomed by many attendees and sensed that they are true to their motto "Loving one another to Christ." Pastor Dr Shannon's sermons are inspiring and personally challenging. They are always well planned and pointing us towards God's Love. I've engaged in Sunday School, women's ministry and Wednesday Night Supper. Everyone has been embracing. We have found our home church and church family. All are welcomed! Come and visit.
Teri V — Google review
Truly the most welcoming church I've ever been to. The people and the pastor are very kind and genuine. You always walk away from the sermons feeling like you've learned something you can apply to your everyday life. Very kid-friendly and family-oriented. There is a space for kids to play during the sermon if they want to stay with you, or they can head to the children's church classroom. I love the different options.
Taylor C — Google review
Trinity UMC is a place where all are truly welcomed as they are, because Trinity has proven this true with their recent history. I feel privileged to be a part of the music ministry here; the choir and its director are very talented and enthusiastic. The pastor sets a tone of energetic involvement and outreach to the congregation and city. Very happy to be here!
Mark H — Google review
TUMC is the friendliest church. They are genuinely “loving one another to Christ”, as it states on their cornerstone. Everyone in happy to be there and they go out of their way to include and welcome anyone who visits. The pastor, Shannon Karafanda, is a gifted speaker who talks about life, and how the Bible says that we should live it. She is interesting, funny, and leaves you with so much to ponder long after church has ended. The choir director, Ryan, is amazingly talented and always smiling. The choir , under his leadership, is wonderful. What a great place to worship!
Barbara P — Google review
You will not come across a church body who lives it's creed, "loving each other to Christ", like the one at Trinity UMC. Come feel the Love of God in form and Spirit each and every Sunday. You will be embraced, welcomed, receive an uplifting Christian experience.
Mark K — Google review
Trinity UMC’s congregation is warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in supporting the local community. It’s also fun. That counts for something. This church has been a space where challenging conversations are encouraged. Pastor Shannon recently delivered a Confronting Controversy sermon series which dealt with controversies in Scripture, and she has been vocal about continuing those conversations. Many of the congregants are also happy to share our own theology/philosophies for how we feel called to live in an ever-changing world. Wednesday night supper is always a highlight of my week with great food and even better fellowship. After Wednesday night supper, if you’re musically inclined, the choir is always happy to welcome new voices. If you’re NOT musically inclined, the choir will convince you to join because they are always happy to hear new voices!
Shane K — Google review
Very warm and welcoming. I came back here after being gone many years and was welcomed with open arms. Love the outreach to community, love for children, acceptance of all and most of all the way Christ's love and grace are shared. Love Pastor Shannon as well!
Robin C — Google review
The child programs here is amazing and very hands on! This community has been welcoming from the very start; everyone made me feel right at home. The people are genuine, warm-hearted, and always go out of their way to make sure you feel seen and appreciated. It’s clear that this is a place where love, faith, and kindness truly come first. If you’re looking for a church with a strong sense of community and a heart for others, this is the place to be!

Absolutely love this church I've been going for 7 months and in that time frame I've seen a tremendous impact on my faith! Great folks as well!

A group of young people approached me in our local Walmart last week, asking if I needed prayer. Our family has been through some very devastating events actually this past year, with myself personally sufferring through an extended illness, with multiple hospital visits and living in severe and debilitating pain, on a daily basis. Yes, our family needs prayer and we can't thank you enough for caring enough to ask! After they prayed with me (right there in the fishing tackle department), made sure I truly knew Christ and had prayed the Sinner's Prayer before, they then wrapped it all up by handing me a business card and invite to their church! I was VERY IMPRESSED with this courageous display of community outreach and genuine compassion! I have been on visitation and witnessing teams myself, as well as a vocal soloist. I personally know how intimidating some of this can be! Well, we visited OHBC this past Sunday. We have been looking for a church home in this area, as we're new to Cartersville. We may have found our new home already from Just ONE Visit!! Awesome service. Excellent Message brought by the Pastor. Beautiful Music led by a Praise Team that really touched my heart! Lovely congregation, very friendly and welcoming, made us feel right at home from the very beginning. Someone actually opened the door for us upon arrival, guided us to a front reception counter to complete a visitation card, then personally led us to the sanctuary. After the service we were even given a nice little bag of goodies for movie night. Nice touch! Extremely thoughtful! Also a plus that Celebrate Recovery Groups meet here! We definitely felt the presence of the Holy Spirit at OHBC, and we will back this coming Sunday! Thank You!!!

Baptist church
Nestled in Cartersville, Georgia, Rowland Springs Baptist Church (RSBC) is a cherished community hub that has touched the lives of many. With a warm and welcoming atmosphere, this church stands out for its genuine care among members. Pastor Joe Ringwalt leads with unwavering dedication to God's word, ensuring that teachings are firmly rooted in the Bible. Visitors often note the strong sense of fellowship and numerous opportunities to serve others beyond the church walls.
From past to present Rowland Springs Baptist has been a home to many believers. To those who have strayed and come back, to those who have been believers early in life, and to those who are just beginning the most wonderful journey of salvation and striving to be more Christlike. People here welcome you in no matter your “reputation”( some have bolder ones than others), what you look like, or where you come from. For 30 years I have attended this body of believers and have grown in knowledge of the word, become more aware of the Holy Spirit and his mighty power, and have been held accountable to my status as a “Christian”. When I’ve been down, they comfort me. When I’ve been sick, they bring me meals. When I need prayer, their knees stand by mine at the altar of the Most High God and they cover me with prayers to a Savior who is able. Are they friendly people? Do they care? Do they love? The answer is a resounding Yes. However, the body of believers at Rowland Springs are far more focused on my spiritual growth with Christ and knowledge of scripture because this is what a body of believers does. They hold you accountable, but show you love and grace. They lift you up with scripture and prayer. They turn to the Bible for answers to help you. Rating? You can’t give a rating for a church, only God can. What you can do is lift up fellows believers, show the world your fruits of the spirit, lead other to Christ. I once heard a wise man say,” we could argue all day long on each verse, each line, context, etc. But make sure the main thing, is the main thing.” Are you leading people to Christ or away? That is a question I can answer about Rowland Springs Baptist, they lead you straight to Christ and it is as evident now as ever.
FRANCIE B — Google review
I only gave my church 4 stars because I don't know of a perfect church. I do love that our church supports foreign missions, local missions, Bartow Baptist Assoc., Southern Baptist Assoc. and locally we have a Feed n Seed monthly program where we give out the plan of salvation along with clothes, toys, and food. Just last week we had a nice lunch for our widows. Our church is always doing things to help others. For over 25 years we have sent members to build a church in 5 weeks with Constructors for Christ. SPLASH and Backpack Buddies are supported by our little church. I dare say you could find a church our size that does as much for outreach. If you want a church that supports the lost, lonely, hungry and needy, Rowland Springs would be a perfect fit. You can serve our Lord in many ways at this church. Our main goal is to save souls. Our membership has many loving people. Are we all perfect, no, but we strive to be more Christ-like, which we have always been told is evident when a member is sick, needs help or dies. I could list all the things this church has done for me and my family as well as many other members,, but it would take a LONG time.
Renee H — Google review
Rowland Springs is a warm and loving church that is committed to being an Acts 1:8 church. The church is involved from locally to around the world in sharing the good news of Christ and meeting people where they are. They have been really engaged locally in various ministries from feeding and clothing the hungry and poor to helping people with house repairs to helping in our local schools and more.I get to work with them with SPLASHBartow and more and they are great. Also, I personally have worked with a young minister and a missionary that God is using nightly that have come out of Rowland Springs. The people at the church are loving and genuine. Pastor Joe is a great guy that is a faithful pastor. His family is strong. If you are looking for a church that faithfully follows the Bible and Jesus check out Rowland Springs David Franklin

What a blessing this church has been to me since I began visiting in 2004. The folks really care about each other and there are so many ways to serve others outside the church. I’ve enjoyed the Feed and Seed Ministry that goes into motels where children and families live and feed them, offer food and toiletries, pray with and ask them to come to know the Lord. Our Pastor, Joe Ringwalt, preaches completely along the guideline of the Holy Bible. I am so thankful this church is in my community.
Dawn C — Google review
For those coming here for a review of our great church, I ask one thing, look at the review of the people who actually attend church here, not the people who have never set foot in our church. I have been a member at RSBC for 22 years and I love it. It is a warm, loving and giving church. Our pastor, Joe Ringwalt, preaches one thing and one thing only, God's word. If you want to know what we are about, please come visit us and please do not put any credit in the reviews that are meant to destroy the church that I love.
Hal M — Google review
Although I have not attended Rowland springs in sometime i would like to remind everyone that has never attended this church and listens to Seth Dunn’s podcast that you have only heard his side and have no business rating a place you have no knowledge of except a bitter member that was thrown out for being unruly by his own admission. The way Seth describes his interaction with church members reminds me of the people in places like Las Vegas that walk around with 10’ tall signs and bull horns yelling that I am a sinner and going to hell just for being there. Actions like this make all Christians look bad in the eyes of non Christians. For all who may look at the reviews for Rowland springs church remember the one star ratings are primarily from listeners of Seth’s podcast who have never stepped foot in the church. The language that seth uses about Pastor Joe and other members of the church are disgraceful and is not consistent with the Christian ways that he proclaims to live by. Joe has never been anything but kind, loving and caring to me and our family.

As a Satanic Freemason, I am very impressed to see that Rowland Springs Baptist Church allows other Satanic Freemasons to become full members of their congregation. And I was very happy to see that some of my brothers are even Deacons there. This church doesn't judge us, and allows us to be who we are. I wish more churches were like this!

Amazing people who love Christ.

This venue was fine but I was not there to worship. Cartersville high school football had a session about tutoring held there. Being a public school event, I was taken back when we had to listen to a Christian sermon, before hearing about the tutoring program. There was also a prayer conducted which was Christian based at the end of the sermon part. The boys should not be subjected to this evangelical pressure and bias, and it is a disservice to and a disgrace that a public school would allow this. Let's keep it neutral...tax payers won't appreciate their taxes benefiting religion.

Allowed ministry to take place in the realm of a huge sock donation to be distributed through their church. Last year allowed property for food distribution. Never been there for the preaching so I have not a review concerning inside the church and those who attend.

Cassville Baptist is a truly special place that feels like home to many. Over the years, families have found a sense of belonging and support within its welcoming walls. With programs for all ages, including VBS for children and Awanas on Wednesdays, there's something for everyone. The early service offers traditional music while the 11 AM service features an uplifting contemporary praise team that resonates with attendees.
1 of the best churches you can attend. We haven't served or visited every Sunday but for years since my son was 5 yrs old he's attended VBS, he's in 5th grade now last year but loves it so much. They're like family friends. They pray over us & welcome us. I feel a sense of calm when I walk through the doors & not timid. Because so many churches with groups will cause a timid take back feeling. I've had health concerns & they saw the fear n my eyes as I walk in without an everyday presence. I love these people & this church! Please always continue to pray over our family. From ashley & Ashten(y'all know)

I just pulled out before ser ice began. I have longed for a five fold ministry church, or full gospel. I hoped when your church came up as pentecostal. So eager, I was there before nine and saw one other vehicle, a white SUV parked in disabled, as was I, with my placard. I saw a woman go to the back of the white SUV, and to make sure I didn't muss out, inquired as to the start time, she responded 10, same as the voice recording (time not posted anywhere), but then asked me if I was handicapped because of where I parked, beside her. I pointed to the placard, told her how dare you and left. Born with Addisons Anemia that has attacked every body system, hashi.oto thyroid antibodies, IGG subclass 2 respiratory immune deficiency, 4 strokes in less than a year, stenosis neck and back, 3 inches of lumbar spurs, osteo throughout entire spine, 2 hips that should have been replaced two years ago, much more. I considered Community Christian my family. When my daughter got cancer I was not around as much. And it appeared in my eyes no one noticed or cared. We moved back to SC for her treatment and family support system. I asked if Michael Keane would speak at my daughter's memorial serve. She died mother's day 2013. He never once said he was uncomfortable with this. I did not remember most of that day. Coming up on 10 years and I started to remember things. Long story short Michael stood up stating he didn't really know why he. Was there and he had no idea if Rachelel was in heaven or hell.... Etc It would have been kinder if he just refused to show up. I could respect tha. He choose to be cruel. t

The church hosts an array of programs such as worship services, Bible studies, and outreach initiatives that tackle pressing issues like hunger through free meals and clothing distribution.
In the early 2000s, just released from prison, and homeless, I came here weekly for a meal. The food was always good, but it was about more than just the food. It was about the welcoming, the acknowledgement, the genuine caring, and warmth/friendliness. I truly mattered as a person to these folks, one of Heavenly Father's wonderful creation. I was exhausted, and weary from looking for a job as an ex-felon in a bad economy, an understatement at the time, and a place to live, from just trying to survive. This place, and this weekly meal was about rest, restoration, and becoming whole again. I am doing very well now, am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, have a wonderful church family, and a wonderful support system. I saw the sign for the weekly friendship meal last evening as I was passing by, and decided to stop, and revisit good memories. It's still what it was back then, maybe, even more, better. I enjoyed the music of the young man playing the grand piano last evening, a nice touch. I feel much gratitude for, and toward the folks at this church, especially those who volunteer to serve at this friendship meal.
