Waterfall
Nature & Parks
Sri Gethuk Waterfall is a picturesque natural wonder nestled amidst forests and limestone cliffs, making it a popular spot for swimming. Although it's the most famous, there are numerous other waterfalls in the hilly countryside around Jogja. The waterfall is located on the edge of a long and wide river cliff, requiring visitors to walk approximately 700 meters along the river to reach its source. Accessing the foot of the waterfall involves walking through rice fields or taking a boat ride.
I had a lot of fun in here. Its not the best waterfall, but its still enjoyable, even in the summer the water is still good.
Nicky M — Google review
Alright, but not a must-visit. The views are pretty, and it is rather quiet and uncrowded - which is a nice combination. The walk from the carpark is maybe about 10 to 15 minutes (slightly tiring, but not difficult), and that is followed by a ride on a makeshift raft for another 10 minutes before we get to the waterfall. Along the walk there are some small stalls which look like they are run by some of the families that live nearby, and who sell some simple and unexpensive snacks and drinks. Might be a good idea to purchase a couple of small items from them to support their efforts to earn an honest living. Have to pay for entrance and the raft ride, the combination of which makes things slightly pricey, but not ridiculously so. Heard from our guide though, that this is supposed to be a public place and the collection of entrance fees is done by a group of unregulated local thugs who do nothing for the upkeep of the place - was not able to independently verify if this is accurate.
Melvin L — Google review
"Not recommended as a destination until they address their management issues. Several incidents during my visit left me frustrated. Firstly, the cost: there are options to reach the waterfall either by walking or by boat. Opting for the boat requires a payment of Rp. 10,000 per person for a round trip. The problem arose when, after paying for six people, the boat left us stranded during our return trip. Despite waiting for an hour, it did not return, prompting us to walk back to the entrance. Another issue concerns the area near the waterfall. Besides the main waterfall, there is a small path leading to the river. Intrigued by the sight of a foreigner and a tour guide walking the path, my friends and I decided to follow. Excitement turned to disappointment when the tour guide yelled at us, insisting it was a forbidden area unsuitable for tourism. When questioned about a foreigner being allowed, he simply stated the foreigner was with him. Only later did we notice a sign on a tree indicating the boundaries of a play area, which we hadn't seen initially as the tour guide casually walked there. Subsequently, they even crossed the river and played in the area. Lastly, in addition to the unpleasant events, I advise against visiting during the rainy season. The river becomes dirty and murky, making swimming unappealing."
Ahmad P — Google review
Lovely place to have a swim and it's a bit off the beaten track so pretty quiet when I went midweek. 25k for entry, 20k to swim in the river (you need to have a lifejacket) Not sure about the boat, as I walked and it only takes about ten minutes. It's mostly downhill, so a bit trickier going back up!
Jethro P — Google review
The waterfall is so beautiful, and the surrounding area is also very calming. Although I think the waterfall area is not large enough to accommodate many people, so be aware when you visit it during the weekend. Entry ticket is affordable, and the parking area for both car and motorcycle are available. The road not so good at some point, so please be careful.
Rey W — Google review
One of the easiest accesible waterfall in jogja region. From the parking lot to the waterfall only took about 10 minutes walk + boat ride of 10 thousand (June 2019), you can challenge yourself to walk towards the waterfall, but I chose the easy way. It was in the dry season when I went here, but the water flowed quite a lot (I wasn't expecting this). You can opt to swim on the river near the waterfall but it is very cold (it was around 11am). This site provided a good exposure for you who wanted to see and feel the sensation of being in a waterfall. There are no toilets near to the waterfall, but quite a lot near the parking area or near the food vendors. Squat toilet and clean water are available.
Dhamar P — Google review
great recreational place, we can enjoy beautiful waterfall here. although we have to walk for about 2 km from the parking area to the waterfall. if you are too tired to walk, you can also use the flying fox or small ship they provided there. there are some store sell gorengan and clothes as well.

Caverns & Caves
Jomblang Cave is a rugged vertical sinkhole cave that offers the beauty of limestone cliffs, active stalactites and stalagmites, natural green vegetation, and a subterranean river flowing into the ocean. One of its unique features is the view of an ancient forest rarely seen elsewhere. The adventure begins by leaving the basecamp to reach the edge of the cave through various tracks with heights of up to 60 meters.
One of the most unforgettable moments of my life. The place is so magical, it almost hurts. The entire team made the whole process seamless and well-organized. Using pure human power catrol rappelling system, we descended 60 meters underground into Jomblang Cave. A little tip: bring a flashlight, it gets really dark down there. I came solo, but ended up making new friends along the way. All the guides were incredibly helpful and supportive. For IDR 500K (lunch included), it’s totally worth it. You can also spend an extra IDR 50K for two printed photos (optional). Disclaimer: The weather is out of our control, so plan accordingly.
Aintenaa — Google review
The path at Jomblang is a bit burdensome. You have to get abseiled 40m. You might have to wait a while until you are on. In the cave you walk 200m through the mud (no worries you get rubber boots) , but the view is absolutely worth it.
Marko ( — Google review
As beautiful as the pictures suggest! The tour is actually quite organized and on a 1st come 1st serve basis. 1 group consists of approx 10 people to abseil down 60m to the cave and take pictures. The ground is very muddy and rocky; may not be suitable for very young children.
Lim K — Google review
Tickets need to be reserved in advance - can be done through Whatsapp. The experience was great and the tourguides were superb at taking pics at the main attraction. We got a lunch after and its possible to buy professional photos from a booth.
Kája H — Google review
The group is so service oriented. It was a very muddy trek and we changed our shoes to boots just like everyone else. You go down a cliff but don't actually repel down. Then you trek through a cave where your boots are often stuck in the mud. Suggest bringing a head lamp and it's in the middle of central java and there's really no cool down in the cave. The staff carried our four year old when he kept getting stuck in the mud. Definitely don't bring clothes you want to keep clean! Afterwards we were served a basic lunch with aqua, ayam goreng and rice. Fun experience
Chris T — Google review
Oh my God😍 it was a wonderful trip. I highly recommend this cave. So beautiful masterpiece of God. And the way through the cave to reach that hole was incredible.
Aida O — Google review
Bring sandals. Headlamp is a good idea to keep your hands free. Cave is muddy and slippery. The Jomblang Cave Crew is great and helpful. I had an excellent time and was pleasantly surprised!
Nicholas M — Google review
It's unreal, unworldly, amazing, beautiful, there are not enough adjectives to describe how fantastic this place is. It's a long and a half hour drive to the caves and the last couple are on bumpy dirt tracks, you then change you shoes for wellington (plastic) boots and walk down to the cave entrance, where you are harnessed up and sent 2 at a time down a 60 metre drop into the cave. Then it's's a tricky walk in the dark to what must be the most amazing sight I have ever seen in my life. It's a memory you will keep forever

Pok Tunggal Beach, nestled amidst towering karst cliffs, offers breathtaking views with its pristine white sands and clear blue waters. Visitors can indulge in various activities such as snorkeling, surfing, or simply relaxing to the sound of the sea breeze. This tranquil yet adventurous destination is perfect for holidaymakers seeking both serenity and excitement. The iconic Duras Tree provides a picturesque spot for memorable photographs.
Loved this pantai there was a lot of space to relax and enjoy the nature. There is area where you can get in the water but be vary careful as the current can be difficult to negotiate most times. There are a lot of vendors selling food and mats that make it very easy to just show up and relax
Hawaii B — Google review
Pok Tunggal Beach has a beautiful and clean environment, the sea water is still clear, thick white sand is free of rubbish. This beach overlooks the Indonesian ocean with fairly high waves and is surrounded by beautiful coral hills. The beach location can be reached in about 2 hours from the city of Jogjakarta through hilly and coral views.
Joglowebs. C — Google review
It was a challenge to get in this place, quite remote spot and you'll lose signal automatically. But totally worth it, beautiful scenery and white sands. Just be careful with the waves, kinda wild. It really looks like Melasti beach in Bali.
Ari N — Google review
Beautiful sunset! The path is pretty hard because of the rocks but still nice. It's not the type of beach you will chill all day long, though. Anyway, when we came there, the Duras tree was no longer there, meanwhile this beach was famous because of it.
Maria W — Google review
Bit speechless about this place, because this beach have awesome landscape view. I came at 5am and still dark.. Hoping I can shoot best light in the morning.. 😁, but nature has different way hahaha so cloudy there. I came to one of traditional coffee shop, after order I saw a man directly approach to our coffee shop from the beach bring an octopus and some fish. The owner of coffee shop says.. Hai.. What would you like to order from those fresh fish.. Hahaha to early for me for heavy breakfast .. I asking her there is other sight from the beach? She said : you have to move up to that hill.. Wewwwwww 🤦‍♂ hahaha closed enough but going up is.... 🤣🤣 Then we going up and taking lots of picture.. Till the cloud more dark. So this place is so quite place, not to crowded, average clean.. So fun in this beach. So if you stay in Jogjakarta.. Please stop by to pok tunggal beach..
Yo_ B — Google review
Access to this beach is hard, not possible for bus/trucks. Therefore, this beach is still not to crowded. And still consider as hidden gem. Sands are white but not too clean.
Hendra L — Google review
Great camping place! There are many stalls around the beach, so if you run out of supplies, you can buy there. There are also toilets there. Entrance ticket 10k per person and retribution fee 10k per tent. You can also pay a photografer 3k / photos for capturing your moment! The distance between the parking area to the beach is very close, so you don't need to be afraid of being tired 😁. Go on weekdays if you want to find some quietness!
Fakhri K — Google review
Was nice here. Narrow and clean beach. You also can see the seaweed in the side of beach, you also can pick up some of them. Having a roast barbeque with friends, a group of HKTDC Hongkong 2017 at side of beach and drink real coconut. How nice and forget hectic for a day. How a lovely day. Visit here and enjoy the green😘😘😘

Pindul Cave is a popular destination in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, known for its stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Visitors can enjoy the thrilling activity of cave tubing by floating into the large cave on inflated tubes and following the underground river's flow. The cave is located in Bejiharjo Village and is a favorite among young adventurers. It offers a unique experience to explore the beauty of nature while engaging in an exciting water activity.
what a wonderful cave, been here twice. the staffs are so friendly, specially Mr. Santo he's so informative, ,there's still lots of beautiful videos about this destination on my gallery but I think you should come here and check it by yourself, and here's not only one cave here, there's few of caves and you can also do other things like offroad by jeep.and if you don't have a waterproof phone or camera, they sell waterproof cases here.
Muhammad L — Google review
We’re a group of young and growing adults, aged 11 to 44, and had an incredible time thanks to the friendly and attentive guides. You can bring your phone in a waterproof bag (sold on-site), but we hired a photographer to capture the moments—so we could fully enjoy the experience without distractions. Having done cave river explorations before, this one stood out. We got to swim, jump, and fully immerse ourselves in the water. Some areas are shallow and rocky, while others are deep, so it’s important to stay alert. The local guides—who know the terrain well—were always nearby, keeping us safe. We also did the Oyo River tubing, which was another highlight. While waiting for the transfer back to base, we enjoyed some Indomie and drinks. Bring spare clothes and towels to wash up—basic items are also available for purchase if needed. The whole adventure felt like a real-life Universal Studio's Jurassic Park—wild, natural, and so much fun.
Ferdi — Google review
I enjoyed this trip a lot. The guid made a great job keeping us entertained on the way. We also enjoyed some cliff diving.
Kareem J — Google review
Awesome area 🤩 for river tubing, you will pass through a cave full of stalactites and witness the wonderful rock formations. You will also have the opportunity to jump into the water at some point too. Fun filled activity on a sunny ☀️ day.
Amos S — Google review
Good one. Floating in a river flowing through a limestone cave across a hill.
Travelling W — Google review
If you are looking for a day full of fun activities with your family and enjoy nature, this is the right place to go. You can experience a one hour off-road tour with jeep in the surrounding, visit the Goa and at last do a river tour with big buoys. The whole program last about 4 hours and not much empty time, except from time to time having some rest with drinks and snacks. Also a high thumb to the staff there who are really helping and professional.
Philippe L — Google review
majestic piece of nature. great tour-guide explains many things we haven't tought would want to know about. got the chance to visit in not very peak season of tourism, so the visit were great, no crowd, and very safe adventure into the cave. great place, great experience, would very much recomend this place.

Ventured into the local attractions and it was a delight! The tour guide's friendly nature and engaging storytelling made the cave and local history feel like fascinating adventures. Surrounded by lush green hills, Wediombo Beach is not only a beautiful spot for sunbathing but also serves as an important marine conservation area that includes a protected turtle nesting site.
Had so much fun! The beach has a lot of big stone, so there are so many small “pond”. It is so beautiful, we had so much fun in this beach
Gabriela H — Google review
Great. We met a local lady and her friend there. They took us to a nice small lagoon, that was good for swimming and sight seeing.
Joseph C — Google review
A beautiful place. The beach is clean and watery clear. On this beach there is a hidden pool surrounded by a cluster of corals with a depth of 1.5 meters. This beach is also known as a favorite snorkeling spot for tourists. For those who have a hobby of fishing, in this beach area there is a reef hill that became a favorite place of the anglers to try their fishing ability.
Muchtar — Google review
Beautiful spot for camping. Perfect place for hunting sunset and playing water volley. You should really try sleeping under the majestic sky at night. Since there is no mosquitos here, you can enjoy sleeping outside your tent, accompanied by the sound of the waves and night creatures. Unforgettable memories.
Adji C — Google review
One of great beach in Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. The road here is rather in good condition, yet pretty far from Jogja City, for like 2hrs by vehicle. Parking lot is spacious, and the beach is located below hill, so there's stairs toward the beach. So many street vendors, so you no need worry if you're hungry. The beach is still pristine. White sands, and the water color is beautiful. There's also a laguna, here, but you still need walk along the beach a bit far. You can swim here but be careful since the sea actually part of Indian Ocean and the wave and wind sometime so harsh.
Irene S — Google review
the beach is lower than the parking lot so we have to go down the stairs. Not too far but rather steep. if you are tired, motorcycle taxis are available for 5,000 rupiah. Visitors are not allowed to swim because there are more rocks and big waves. always use sunblock because the sun is very strong.
Naya N — Google review
This is an absolutely stunning beach. The sunset is right on the water. There's swimming and surfing, and the food there is very cheap. I stayed in a cottage only 50 meters from the beach, and at night I had the beach all to myself. The local people there are so friendly. What an amazing experience. I will be back soon.

Krakal Beach, located in Jogja, is gaining popularity among tourists for its surfing tours. The beach offers stunning scenery, especially from the hilltop where visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the waves and rocks. While the local food is affordable, it may be limited in variety. The beach provides huts for relaxation but charges apply if food is not purchased from the owner.
Beautiful beach, white sand with amazing rock structures. Good spots for photography or simply just to relax.

good view but the sea wave to close to the beach lip, so pretty dangerous for swimming or playing with sea water pretty clean also for public beach there is also many many seafood stands around and cheap price eat seafood all your day the people around pretty patient also to local tourist
Han L — Google review
i went there on the weekday and only a few people in there. This is one of my favourite beach because of the beautiful scenery especially if you go up the hill, you can see a wider view, see the waves and rocks, very beautiful. local food prices are quite affordable but less varied. there are plenty of huts to sit and not pay only if we buy the owner's food. Unfortunately the toilet is not good and if weekdays, only a few are open.
Naya N — Google review
Was met by super arrogant male Indonesians wanting to charge 30k for entry - so I didn't go. I've been before. Food is like anywhere else, and can't swim in the beach as its too dangerous. Plus want to charge parking on entry. BETTER BEACHES IN BALI FOR FREE Forget this place I think, go to Medewi beach, Bali for more beautiful, can swim - no charge for entry

Nice and calm place, good view, white sands, cheap, but not much around. If you just want to chill then this beach maybe perfect for you. Pretty neat compared to other beach near the area. Or if you just want to take a quick look before going to your main destination.

Beautiful view, so many food and drink seller. You can snorkle here when the water condition is good. The environment is clean but the way to parking area is narrow.

You can bring your kids here. No need to worry about the fasility like toilet, mosque, restaurant and souvenir store. They have big parking area and beautiful hill to hike to see the shoreline from top. Krakal had long shoreline and there is a monument on the top of a hill in the west and in the east you can also enjoy another beach.

PrAmbAnAn,
Best time to go is after noon and watch the sun cast soft shadows on the relief during sundown. It is less crowded than Borobudur because the temple structures are spread out with lots of open spaces in between. There are also many smaller but magnificent Buddhist structures on the temple grounds worth visiting. I had the pleasure of sitting on ancient stones, with the soft sun behind me on the western side of the main Prambanan temple and just soaking up this historical monument. It took me 33 years from first learning about it in university to actually setting foot here to see it. I am very impressed by all the work they are putting in to conserve and preserve this beautiful UNESCO heritage site. Even though a foreigner entrance ticket costs 8x more than a domestic ticket, it is worth every rupiah! Some domestic visitors were not too careful about the stone relief though. I saw one man use his umbrella to point and hit on the stone relief. 😞 Hope better education and supervision can be given on site by heritage staff.
Janice H — Google review
Prambanan Temple is absolutely stunning and a must-visit when in Yogyakarta! The temple complex is vast and beautifully preserved, with incredible stone carvings and towering structures that tell ancient stories from Hindu mythology. Walking around the site feels like stepping back in time. The architecture is breathtaking, especially when you catch it at sunrise or sunset — the lighting makes the temple even more majestic. The area is well-maintained, and there are helpful signs explaining the history. It can get quite hot during the day, so I recommend visiting early in the morning or late afternoon. Definitely worth the visit — both for history lovers and anyone who appreciates incredible cultural landmarks!

Prambanan Temple is a breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most beautiful temples in Indonesia. The architecture is stunning, the gardens are well maintained, and the atmosphere is peaceful. Walking around the temple complex gives a deep sense of history and culture. A must-visit destination in Yogyakarta for anyone who loves history, culture, and photography
Sourav K — Google review
If you ever visited Angkor Wat, you may skipped it. Don’t know who and how made that comparison, but comparing Prambanan to Angkor Wat is like comparing Yogjakarta to Singapore. Definitely overpriced, as all tourists attractions in Indonesia (that’s the „advantage”of being foreigner - you’re forced to paid 8-10 times more than locals). Crowded. If you finally get there, please make sure to visit other temples: Lumbung, Bubrah and Sewu (imho most impressive than Prambanan). Looks like plenty of reconstruction works around, so maybe in 10 years there will be more impressive buildings. As it’s kind of Javanese temple’s tradition, exit is through neverending maze of shops with some really stubborn sellers. Luckily we’re there for sunset time, and while leaving complex we matches time of closure of this market.
Ula H — Google review
Visiting Prambanan Temple is like stepping back in time to witness the grandeur of Indonesia’s rich Hindu and Buddhist heritage. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is not only an architectural marvel but also one of the most accessible and tourist-friendly attractions in Central Java. Accessibility & Tour Guides: The temple complex is conveniently located about 17 km from Yogyakarta city center, and it’s easily reachable by car, motorbike, or public transport. If you're coming from the airport, it's just a short ride. Upon arrival, you’ll find the entrance very organized with ticket counters for domestic and international visitors. What really enhances the experience is the availability of licensed tour guides. They are friendly, multilingual (English, Bahasa Indonesia, and sometimes other languages), and extremely knowledgeable. Guided tours are highly recommended to understand the deep symbolism, mythology, and history behind the temple reliefs and structures. Parking Lots & Entry Process: The parking area is spacious and well-managed, accommodating both private cars and tour buses. There’s a separate area for motorbikes, and everything is within walking distance to the entrance gate. The entry process is smooth, and staff are helpful, maintaining a good flow even during busy hours. Facilities: The facilities are excellent for a historical site of this scale. There are clean restrooms, shaded seating areas, and refreshment stalls near the entrance and inside the complex. You’ll also find a souvenir market selling everything from traditional batik to wooden crafts and mini Prambanan replicas — perfect for gifts. There's even a small museum near the complex that provides more background about the site's excavation and restoration efforts. The Temple Grounds: The temple complex itself is vast and immaculately maintained. The main temples dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma stand proudly in the center, surrounded by smaller shrines and ruins that speak volumes about ancient Javanese Hindu civilization. Visitors are allowed to walk into several of the temples, and the carvings are remarkably well-preserved. Be sure to wear comfortable footwear and bring a hat or umbrella as it can get quite hot during midday. Bonus Tip: Come early in the morning or around sunset to avoid the crowds and get the best lighting for photos. For a truly magical experience, consider watching the Ramayana Ballet at the nearby open-air theatre in the evening — with the temples as a backdrop, it's an unforgettable performance. Conclusion: Prambanan Temple is not just a tourist site — it’s a spiritual, educational, and visual journey that impresses every visitor. Whether you’re a history buff, a photographer, or just someone looking to appreciate world heritage, Prambanan delivers on all fronts. A must-visit when in Yogyakarta!

Prambanan Temple is a breathtaking historical and holy place for Hinduism. It is the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia and one of the most beautiful in the world. The site consists of temples dedicated to the Hindu trinity—Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva—each showcasing incredible stone carvings and detailed reliefs that tell stories from the Ramayana and Mahabharata. you can really feel the spiritual atmosphere and admire the architectural mastery of the 9th century. It’s not only a place of worship but also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Indonesia. And if you get the chance, the Ramayana Ballet performance held nearby adds a cultural experience you won’t forget. Truly a must-visit destination for history lovers and culture enthusiasts!

I visited Prambanan during a day-trip with a private driver. He had already bought my entry ticket in advance. Unlike Borobudur, you can explore Prambanan by yourself. However, I recommend paying the 150k/hour to get a guide. My guide was so much fun and was very knowledgeable about the history of the site as well as all of the religious aspects. The only thing that bothered me during my visit was the lack of shaded areas from the heat, and the small black pebbles that krept under my feet constantly.
Ilse E — Google review
Prambanan Temple is an absolute masterpiece—easily one of the most awe-inspiring historical sites in Indonesia. The four temples included in the ticket are breathtaking, each showcasing intricate architecture and deep cultural significance. We took our time exploring, stopping often to admire the grandeur and reflect on the centuries of history carved into the stones. The experience itself is fantastic, whether you rush through in an hour or take three to truly absorb it all (which is definitely the way to go). Every structure feels powerful, demanding appreciation and respect. We also had lunch inside, and the food was surprisingly good, making the visit even more enjoyable. That said, the ticket price for international visitors—at 500k rupiah—is definitely steep, especially considering it's ten times higher than the local price. It knocks the rating down slightly, but overall, Prambanan is still a must-visit, deserving a solid 9/10. If you can look past the pricing, the experience itself is worth every moment.

Ratu Boko Temple, also known as Kraton Ratu Boko, is a 16-hectare archaeological site featuring a blend of Buddhist and Hindu structures, including stone temples and caves. Situated on a plateau, this partly ruined Hindu palace complex dates back to the 9th century and is believed to have been the central court of the powerful Mataram dynasty.
Ancient palace complex dated back to 8th century. Located up in a hill, the area are pretty big, you can still see the entrace gate, fort, hall, bath pool (carved in a stone), stupa, etc. The ambiance is very nice and relaxing, especially in the afternoon to sunset time.

Really nice temple or rather temple ruins, definitely worth visiting. Unfortunately open only till 17:00, above from the temple would be really nice to watch the sunset... Though there were still many people around, not sure if 17:00 is really a (hard) closing time...

People used to call this place "Candi" or temple, but actually this is a palace as described in the ancient inscription. This palace cover a quite huge walk area to explore, and it's an open space. This ancient palace is a recommended place for those who loves photography and history. Since it's located in the higher ground, you will be able to see Prambanan temple from this palace

Located in the eastern part of Yogyakarta, Ratu Boko is a great family-friendly destination to enjoy the sunset. The area is spacious, hilly, and surrounded by lush greenery, offering a calm and relaxing atmosphere. I recommend visiting around 3–4 PM when the weather is pleasant and not too hot. I visited with international friends, about the ticket price is quite affordable for locals, though a bit expensive for international visitors. It’s best to get the bundled ticket that includes access to Borobudur or Prambanan temples for better value. Overall, if you’re visiting Yogyakarta and looking for a peaceful temple with fewer crowds, Ratu Boko is definitely worth considering.

Place with full history and memories. Beautiful and remarkable views. We use the tour guide service from Mr Naswanto, he is very good to explain everything in this area. It made our journey meaningful. We visit here as a package with prambanan temple. It has toilet, musholla, park benches and many food seller also. So don't worry if you get tired.

Ratu Boko Palace is such a cool place to visit, especially in the late afternoon. It’s up on a hill, so you get this amazing view of Yogyakarta and even Prambanan Temple in the distance. But the real star? The sunset—absolutely stunning! One of the best I’ve ever seen. The vibes here are super chill. It's quiet, peaceful, and has that ancient, mystical feel. Great spot for taking epic photos too! Entrance fee is a bit on the higher side, but honestly, totally worth it for the views and the experience. Pro tip: Get there around 4 PM, bring a bottle of water, and don’t forget your camera or phone—you’ll want to capture that sunset magic!

Throwback to 2023, still amazed by the beauty in the simplicity of Candi Ratu Boko. This temple isn’t so grand, but it has such a mesmerizing aura. It's located on higher ground, so the atmosphere feels cool and refreshing. The walking paths toward the temple are well-arranged, with green lawns that make the scenery even more soothing. I was lucky to visit during sunset hour, so the view was truly breathtaking. Calm, serene, and memorable. I'd love to come again if I could. It’s absolutely worth a visit for its charm and magical sunset vibes.

Bought the ticket via traveloka, just teeny tiny bit cheaper than ots ticket. Got a good walk around the area. Got there around 4.15 pm. Walked around for almost an hour and rest by the main Gapura to look at the sun setting, was cloudy though. We just sat there by the grass. But some people brought picnic mat/blanket. There's musholla near the main Gapura, and also i think there's another one by the locket? Not sure about the 2nd one, but there's a sign near it. Oh. By the locket there's brochure about the site.

Timang Beach is a popular destination in the Gunung Kidul area, just an hour away from Yogyakarta. The beach offers white sand and is known for its unique attractions such as an island connected to the mainland by a rope bridge and a cable car. Visitors can enjoy local snacks at the numerous stalls along the beach and indulge in fresh seafood at nearby restaurants.
Breathtaking beach front, you can admire the scenic wave formations and headlands along the area. There is also a cart and bridge where you can cross onto a stack in the sea to take lovely photos. Overall a great place to chill 😎 out and just relax.

I’m from Malaysia, and this is my first time visiting Yogyakarta. My trip to Pantai Timang was an adventurous experience, as you have to go there by jeep. The beach has beautiful scenery, and the breeze is very calming. Crossing the bridge and riding the gondola was a bit scary, but it was a great experience. I recommend bringing a raincoat because the waves can be really big.
Assaidah A — Google review
Fun ride in a Suzuki Jimny along a rocky hilly track to get there. You have to pay to go across a rope bridge to the small island. But it’s worth it, your guide is an excellent photographer with your smart phone and will get you some great photos
Dan B — Google review
Went there after my trip to Jomblang Cave. The scenery was amazing. You need to be careful with splashes though even though you are high above sea level, so do prepare spare clothes and protect your photography equipments just in case you are not fortunate. The jeep ride down the beach was exciting and fun as well.
Yoong Y — Google review
It took us about 2 hours from our hotel in Kaliurang, plus another 15 minutes by Jeep through bumpy terrain—a fun little adventure on its own. The view from the cliff is absolutely stunning. The waves were strong, and the sea spray could get intense, so don’t expect to stay dry—bring spare clothes or footwear. The gondola is hand-powered, but the team running it takes safety seriously and guides everyone carefully. Even our 70-year-old parent, who didn’t plan to cross, ended up giving it a go. Some of us are scared of heights, but we all enjoyed the ride—it’s a one-of-a-kind experience. One gondola can fit up to 3 people (2 adults and 1 kid), but it can feel a bit tight—especially for the person sitting at the back. Once across, you can explore freely, but stay cautious—you’re standing on a cliff above rough waters. The 360 views are incredible. Easily one of the most unforgettable parts of our Jogja trip.
Ferdi — Google review
Astounding view! A must visit if you love the beach. The gondola price quite affordable i think. Totally worth the penny spent! The ride to the beach was adventurous. The ride itself was fun. The workers of the gondola are super fun and they took marvelous pictures of you.

❎ Australia ✅ Indonesia On our way to the beach, locals stopped and informed us that we need to use a jeep in order to access the beach. We were skeptical if we really need to visit the beach but turns out it was so worth it! The jeep ride was rough but once we were at the beach, the view was really nice. Watching the waves was also really calming. We hired a jeep that costs 350k for 5 people. Crossing the bridge costs 100k per person for locals, but you should definitely go for it. Both the jeep rental and bridge ticket includes a guide who can help with taking pictures. No additional fee for the guide but we gave them a tip at the end :)

As one of the people who learned about rocks in college, I really like visiting this location. The big rocks were shown up in the surface with beautiful color gradation and shapes. The local government successfully created this outcrop to be one of the tourism destination closed to Yogyakarta. It took me around 50 minutes driving here using a motorcycle. In the big rock, they also modified it so we could go to the top of the outcrop. They created a stair that let us go to the top of the outcrop. Not only the stairs, but we would find the top part is filled with many places to take pictures as well as the supported equipment, such as the love signs as background, tea pot as accessories and many others. You could go here with friends or family. Recommended place to visit.

Baron Beach is a picturesque bay with black sand and towering karst cliffs in Gunung Kidul. It's known for its unique feature of sea water meeting fresh water, allowing visitors to swim in both. The beach gets crowded during school holidays, offering a fun experience for families with activities like playing in the sand and water. The area also boasts fresh seafood culinary delights, including the famous fish soup and lobster. Additionally, there's a scenic pathway through mountains that provides stunning views of the surroundings.
A beach that has spacious parking lots. last time i came here was more than 15 years ago and a bit surprised to see the beach these days. I think its not a typical beach that suitable for swimming cz there are too many fishing boats here and there. But its a good one for those who like to hunt seafoods and local souvenirs.

A wonderful beach for family, with its brownish sand. It's a calm bay with a high cape with a lighthouse tower on its East flank, and an underground river on its West flank is recommended as a safe playground for children. There are fishermen and their colourful boats on the beach, and when lucky visitors can also buy freshly caught fishes from them at low prices. Food stalls and shops selling seafoods and souvenirs. Many toilets available for little money. No recommended lodging.

Museum Sonobudoyo Unit I is a must-visit Indonesian cultural-history museum located in Yogyakarta. It showcases a wide array of artifacts including masks, weapons, batik, music instruments, and puppets from Javanese and Balinese culture. Visitors can also witness a special leather puppet show accompanied by traditional Javanese Gamelan music and language every evening.
Stepping into this museum is like walking onto a dimly lit stage—spotlights pick out every relic, and the hush plus moody lighting immediately sucks you into Javanese culture. I walked in expecting a handful of old instruments and kebaya mannequins, but instead got this immersive vibe where each room tells its own story. You’ve got a full-on Javanese wedding setup, racks of animal figurines and statues, walls covered in crazy-detailed batik motifs, plus traditional weapons that look straight out of an epic film. Want more? Rent a kebaya and hire an in-house photographer for those Insta moments, then head to the separate interactive wing where you can actually touch, try, and play with select exhibits. Seriously, this isn’t your average dusty museum—it’s hands-down one of the most memorable cultural trips in Jogja.

This museum is an excellent place to explore and learn about the rich and diverse culture of Java. It offers a comprehensive look into various aspects of Javanese heritage — from the intricate art of batik, showcasing different patterns and techniques, to an impressive collection of wayang (traditional puppets) that reflect the region’s storytelling traditions. You can also learn about local customs, rituals, and traditional clothing. The displays are well-organized and informative, making it a great spot for both tourists and locals who want to deepen their understanding of Javanese culture. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

There’s even games and VR on the fifth floor! The AC was appreciated, and it was definitely worth the 20,000k fee (for foreigners). I spent about 90 minutes here Staff were super friendly and helpful too.

It was a very fun experience!! You can get a tour guide for free if you show them your ticket and there's someone available to do it🙏🏼 The live video (the one about Damarwulan and Sumbu Filosofi) didn't have an English subtitles so it's a bit to bad for the international tourist who can't understand it. But otherwise everything is translated very well❤️ the interactive part is also very fun (there's an arrow shooting VR and gamelan game).

Kalasan Temple, or Candi Kalasan, is a stunning 8th-century Buddhist temple nestled in Sambirejo Village near Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This architectural gem is dedicated to the goddess Tara and showcases exquisite carvings that reflect its rich history during the Syailendra dynasty. Although some parts of the temple are in ruins due to missing stones, its intricate details still captivate visitors. Unlike the bustling Prambanan nearby, Kalasan offers a serene atmosphere for sightseeing and photography enthusiasts.
Kalasan Temple (Candi Kalasan) is an 8th-century Buddhist temple located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, renowned for its intricate carvings and unique architectural style. Dedicated to the goddess Tara, it is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Central Java and is believed to have been built during the Syailendra dynasty. The temple was rediscovered during the colonial period, with initial documentation in the 19th century, followed by partial restoration efforts in the early 20th century. However, due to the lack of detailed records or drawings of the original structure, many ornamental stones and fragments could not be placed back in their original positions, leaving parts of the temple on the ground.

Quiet n probably entrance free temple, if you come around 3 to 4pm. I wasn't asked to pay as I could just walk in to witness this amazing candi. One side was under construction though. It's relatively similar temple to the temples in the area so if you have limitedtime, its 50/50 choice of visiting or skipping.

At the moment it’s being restored thus it is covered in scaffold… One should wait until the scaffold is taken down as you cannot see much of the temple… But at least it’s an attempt to restore to its former glory… I’m sure that once this work is completed, this will be a five star location… If you’re still interested, you can pass by but access is limited…

A beautiful temple, it's smaller than other big complex temple like borobudur or prambanan, but still a cool place to visit but unfortunately at february 2018 we cant enter the temple because of previous earthquake so they will renovate it in 2018. It's quite close from yogya and close to prambanan temple. The temple is side to side with local houses, the people at the ticket box is friendly and he will answer your questions about this temple but there's also a board that contain explanation about the temple. It's located near the high way but it's a quite quiet place and we can get a good picture here, the ticket box open till 5 p.m. in the afternoon people start to visit the temple maybe at 3 p.m. people start coming because the sun isnt so hot anymore, but the entrance from the road is quite small and the parking lot is also small, the accesss to enter the area of the temple is quite hard for a big bus or big vehicle.

Being an aviation enthusiast, visiting the Indonesian Air Force Museum made my day. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the planes that have been kept from the 40s until now, learning a lot about Indonesia's history in the process. Some officers at the entrance were kind enough to answer questions I had about some of the planes. In terms of size and the number of artefacts, the museum exceeded my expectations. There seems to be a renovation in process where two new spaces will be incorporated, but there was no indication yet what the subject of these spaces will be. Be aware that not all sections of the museum have translations, a few are only in Bahasa.

Currently closed to foreigners! The museum is located on a military base and due to political instability, foreigners need a letter of approval from the headquarters in Jakarta. Not giving a low rating because it is at the airforce's discretion whether to allow people on their base or not.

It's a Bali wannabe place, with temple and other statues in place. Really crowded with tourist wearing rented Balinese traditional costume during the visit. The paid toilet is well maintained and costly since it is privately owned by the warung owner. It is suggested to come during dry season since the location is quite a distance from Yogyakarta and the road is quite tricky. Though it provides beautiful view along the way.

The beaches are beautiful, but be mindful that there is a huge crowd of tourists in big buses, cars, and the road is in traffic, the parking lot is so crowded, everything moves slowly. And by the beach, thousands of people. They make the temple and rent the clothes for tourists to take pictures, that makes the place even more chaotic. If you want to find a quiet and serene place to see the nature, this is not a good idea to visit at weekend.

it's a beautiful beach in Yogyakarta (42 kilometers from the city). in other side, I lost my signal over there. you need a transportation to go there because there's no public transportation since the place is so far.

Two beaches in one. Ngobaran is a sacred place for the local Hindu communities. Nguyahan is the best for sunsets.

I usually come here before the other beach nearby called Ngrenehan. This place has architectural influence from the Hinduism. The view to the beach from the cliff is great. Now they have artificial boat also there for taking photo direction to the beach view. I took these photos at 5 am, so it might look dark. 😁

Love this beach! Not so crowded! So many amazing spot views! Located about an hour from the city center. Pretty easy to follow the google maps. Kinda Bali vibes but in Yogyakarta! Definitely will come back! There’s one “Pura” which already build about 25 years ago and still be used to pray. There’s not so many options for having lunch. Make sure you bring your meals box or simple move to another beaches nearby!

Drini Beach is a stunning coastal gem located in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. It stands out for its unique feature of being divided into two parts by a coral island, offering contrasting personalities to each side. The beach boasts serene white sand flanked by rocky hills and colorful fishing boats lining the shore, creating picturesque scenes that are perfect for photography. Visitors can also climb the large coral island when the sea water is low, adding an adventurous element to their beach experience.
Pantai Drini Gunung Kidul is a beautiful and well-maintained beach with an affordable entrance fee of just IDR 15,000 per person. The beach remains quite natural, offering a peaceful atmosphere along with various entertainment options and a great souvenir center. The view is stunning, and the place is incredibly clean, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. The accessibility is good, although some of the roads leading to the beach can be narrow and winding, it's still manageable with a private vehicle. At Pantai Drini, visitors can enjoy the view of two different sides of the beach. On the east side, the waves are calm, making it perfect for activities like exploring coral reefs, hiking up the cliffs, or renting a canoe. On the west side, the waves are a bit higher. The available food stalls also serve fresh seafood. This place is perfect for both families and solo travelers. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy nature and some fun activities by the beach!

Drini Beach is located in Gunung Kidul. It's a place where fishermen gather to catch fish, which they then sell fresh. Like other beaches, Drini Beach has its own canoeing area, unlike other beaches. There are plenty of affordable food stalls with friendly service. I recommend this beach for tourists who are bored with just playing in the water and taking photos, as it offers canoeing.
REGINA K — Google review
The best time to enjoy the beach is in the morning before 9 a.m. it offers canoeing, which is quite safe for children and adults
Rima W — Google review
The beach was exceptionally clean. Remember to apply sunscreen and bring an umbrella for shade. I particularly enjoyed the beach because it offers calm waters without strong waves. This makes it safe for swimming, provided you stay within a reasonable distance from the shore. There are plenty of picturesque spots perfect for photography. Additionally, you can discover crabs, fish, and various sea creatures along the shore.
Qoriyana N — Google review
This beach is nice, suitable for families, the sunset view in the afternoon is good for taking pictures. Complete beach facilities such as prayer rooms, gazebos, toilets, etc. There are stalls selling various types of sea fish such as sea shells, squid, grouper, etc.
Arsya H — Google review
It's a two-hour drive from Yogyakarta through some mountain and jungle road and some villages. The beach was very clean. What's unique about this beach is that there is a small coral island in the middle of the sea, accessible by bridge. You have to pay 5k IDR to pass the bridge. From that island you can have a nice and beautiful view to the layer of mountains surrounding the beach.
Nicholas K — Google review
Two beaches are not so big, one beach is towards the open sea and the other one is more like lagoon for canoeing exercise. Plenty beach umbrellas but for a fee for those sensitive to sunlight. Food can be slightly expensive though. Beach is free entrance and pay for your parked vehicle.

Siung Beach, located in Gunungkidul, is a picturesque sandy beach surrounded by lush greenery and cliffs. It's a popular spot for rock climbers and features outrigger fishing boats dotting the coastline. The entrance fee is affordable at 10,000 rupiah, allowing visitors to enjoy the pristine white sand and vibrant marine life. While access to the beach can be challenging due to limited road access and no mobile phone signal, it offers a serene escape from the crowds.
Beautiful beach, if you are into rock climbing, this the place you should go, many routes with different level. The beach itself is very beautiful, great spot also for fishing, camping, and enjoying sunset

I have known this beach since 2011, and we often come here to do some rock climbing activities. The sand is white, the wave is big, and the view is just great. Out of all south Java beach on Yogyakarta, this is my favorite to healing. The access to this beach is not so easy so not many people would come, and big vehicles like buses can't access it. Also, there is no signal for the mobile phone, so when you come to this beach, for sure, you won't be able to live streaming on Instagram.

A beautiful beach with a very beautiful scenery. There's a lot of big coral here and the background either from bottom or from up is very good to see. Just sitting at the big coral near the beach and just staring at the waves makes your mind get refreshed.

This beach is freaking beautiful. But local treat it wrong, so much trash around the sands, and they sometimes asking more for the fee (illegal). You not only could enjoying the beach but also can do a little 30 minutes hike to Bukit Pengilon and see a little waterfall called Banyu Tibo, the view is so breathtaking. 1. Legal government's entrance fee for 2 person: Rp. 10000 2. Some random local's entrance fee to hike to Bukit Pengilon for 2 person : Rp. 4000 3. Another random local's entrance fee to Banyu Tibo for 2 person: Rp. 6000 (it's listed Rp. 2000/person, but somehow the guy asking extra Rp. 1000) 4. Ice coconut drink at the beach: Rp. 13000 5. It's very nice and beautiful. Short beaches that are broken up by cliffs. The beaches are protected by a coral reef, where most of the waves crash. There are many different seashells and coral to look at.

the beach is beautiful... it's just a bit crowded, maybe because it's the weekend
Ilva K — Google review
Bright sand and easy small kids. The parking space is directly at the beach for 10.000 IDR No interesting food in the resto’s only instant meal. But they have usually fresh coconut water. There are shower and toilet facilities around 5.000 IDR. Some dark and dirty, some really clean ones with day light. When flooded it is possible to swim upfront. When the water in the afternoon goes away it remains a pool easy to roam for small non swimming kids. Don’t leave the kids unattended, there might be bigger waves that come in unexpected. In the afternoon you can walk on the coral/stones “platform” that shows up stuffed with bright green seaweed on the surface to be able to reach the big rock. Very “instagramable” 😊 Not too crowded even on holidays.

Pantai Ngadong Beach is a picturesque spot with the added comfort of cliffs providing shade. It's equipped with showers, toilets, and ample paid parking. However, visitors should be cautious of the strong sea currents and avoid venturing too far into the water.

However, swimming in the bay is not recommended. The area also features food shops and clean toilets for visitors' convenience.
The Jogan (Njogan) Beach in Tepus District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region is unique because it has a waterfall from a cliff flowing down to a beautiful little bay with a cave, but bathing at the bay is not recommended. The path from the main road to the site still needs to be improved.

Its a beautiful and clean beach, the authorities really take care this beach, you can also see a cave, and waterfall right on it. The range of price is around 15.000 - 35.000. I have a nice time right there. They have a nice guide and will offer to help taking your picture, they won't charge you, but don't forget to always pay the entry to every spot you want to go. Have fun~~ p.s: the road is a bit rough, but it's okay for bike and car to go through.

The place is small but the view is amazing! The water was crystal clear with smell of sea water. On normal days you can see a waterfall falling down to the sea. But since there was a big wave hit the rock the other day, the waterfall was closed. The sad thing is, there are still trashes here and there. 🙄 The road we take, took around 1-2 hours with car from city.

Pantai Watu Lumbung is a newly discovered gem located near Pantai Wediombo in Yogyakarta. Accessible via two different routes, the beach boasts unique coral formations and a rugged road that adds to its allure. Visitors can enjoy stunning coastal views from a round stage with steps or opt for a motorcycle ride to reach the destination.
This beach is the best beach I've ever visited in Yogyakarta Region. Although the road was very rough and the route was also not easy, the breathtaking views of the beach and coastal lines pay off. You can visit this place by motorcycle only because I think it is not accessible for cars (or it is but might be dangerous). There are toilet and food stalls too. The views are very great. You can take pictures as many as you can. I paid only Rp 7.000 to enjoy this beach (including the parking fee for my motorcycle). Please visit this stunning beach when you have time.

if you wanna go here just prepare your motor bike, using car is not recommended because the road was so really bad. the best thing i ever know if there are people camp here, store will not close, they open for 24 hours you cant buy a coffee in the middle of the night. when night comes some people will fishing here, until morning comes. you will not get a good sunrise here, nut you will get beautiful sunset from the top of the hill. if you camp here, the wind is not strong but the wave will get bigger in the night, and the place is about scary in the night.
Hery H — Google review
A beautiful secluded beach (situated south-east of wonosari) where you can enjoy an unspoiled view. Yet, you have to do a bit tracking to get to this place. And to reach the beach, a long walk on a winding path is necessary. Never think of visiting this beach if you don't have a good stamina 😉
Aurea Y — Google review
Awesome place, but you have to try as hard as you can to get there, access the cobbled and muddy roads, the internet signal does not exist, the tracking tracks are steep and slippery, but when you get to this place you will love the fusion of waterfalls, river, beaches, its waterblow, hill, and corals are very charming,

You can stop at the parking lot and enjoy the seaside view from a round stage with steps. Otherwise you can walk or hire a motorbike drive (ojek) for Rp 20,000.- to go 200 m down a steep road to the water. Friendly staff. Nestled along the southern coast of Java, Pantai Gesing is a hidden gem that captivates visitors with its stunning natural beauty. This charming beach features soft white sands framed by steep cliffs and vibrant green waters, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and photography. While not as famous as other fishing beaches like Ngrenehan or Sadeng, Pantai Gesing offers a unique experience with local fishermen's boats lining the shore and opportunities to purchase fresh seafood such as lobster and catfish.
The scenery during sunrise and sunset here leaves quite an impression, quieter hours and softer lighting make the place feel calm and reflective. On my recent visit, the area was much less crowded in the early morning, which made it easier to enjoy the surroundings without much distraction. I remember back when people could still swim along the white sandy shore before the dock was built, now it's more of a viewing spot than a swimming area. Basic facilities like restrooms and small eateries are available, and some seafood dishes were pretty memorable. Entrance fees are still relatively affordable, and there are several attractions, especially for families or groups.
Another R — Google review
The beach is beautiful actually but it's too commercial. The entrance fee is 25k IDR with no additional facilities like welcome drink or something (which is quite expensive compared to other beaches in the area), there is also another fee from the government 8k IDR before entry Gesing, Kesirat and Wohkudu beach. And you still have to pay for parking your vehicle. The plus point are the beautiful scenery, clean and wide toilet and clean mosque. But the minus is the cost and can not swim in the beach (if you prefer to swim) also you have to pay more to play the Ferris wheel (bianglala)
Indah R — Google review
It’s best to come here when it’s not too crowded. The peaceful atmosphere makes the visit more enjoyable. You can sit back and enjoy the cool sea breeze brushing your face. There are plenty of spots available to relax and unwind, making it a great place for some quiet time alone or with someone close. Gesing Beach is perfect for staring into the distance, watching the wide open sky meet the endless ocean. The sound of the waves and the calm surroundings create the ideal setting to reflect and clear your mind.

the view is very beautiful, the facilities are in the process of being built but the picture is already visible, the construction of the mini port is like not in Wonosari, when we arrived there were only 2 cars, including my family and several motorbikes, maybe because it was only launched around last month, we planned 6 next month or next year, I'm wondering what it will look like when the plants in the garden are big and the other facilities are ready... you have to visit but keep it clean so it stays beautiful... throw the rubbish in its place, yesterday there wasn't a rubbish bin available, hopefully there will be one later

You won't be disappointed visiting this beach. With beautiful cliff and wave, you will be satisfied with the view of Southern Sea of Java. The site is still open for public even though under construction. However, this construction has obstructed not only the cleanliness but also the beach’s scenery. The white-sand beach is located in Gunungkidul Regency with all the beautiful sights from many sides. My favorite one is from a gazebo above the "rock island" close from the coastline. You can see another cliffs and get your sight more farther like water and sky are touched. Blue and higher waves is the another reasons why I more comfortable enjoy this view in height, because we can't get wet or swimming at coastline for safety purpose. At the shore I didn't found much waste like another beaches that I've visited before, it makes +1 why I love this place.

Kukup Beach is probably no stranger to the people of Jogja. It’s one of the more popular local spots for a beach getaway. What makes this beach stand out is a huge coral rock sitting right near the shore. Honestly, it’s so big it almost looks like a two-story house—you could even call it a mini island. The waves here aren’t too strong, so it’s relatively safe to play near the water. But do be careful—the rocks can get pretty slippery. Facilities? Pretty complete. There are toilets, showers, and lots of small shops along the path to the beach. If you ever visit, don’t forget to grab some souvenirs from the local stalls—most of them sell delicious seafood-based products. Oh, and don’t miss the hill right next to the beach! There’s a well-made concrete staircase leading up, and the view from the top is absolutely worth it. 📸 Like this kind of local travel vibe? Came here on vacation and it was very busy and crowded. Honestly, I didn't expect there's a beach in a mountainous area, the view was really good! if you walk 30 meters to the right there's another photo spot but be careful of the waves. The beach was great, the sand and the water wasn't polluted so it's very enjoyable especially if you bring childrens here they'll love the sand! There are several places offerings foods, drinks, and even tents and mattress since the beach are available for tents. Although the beach was rather far (esp from the city) but it was worth the long ride. The beach is very lovely!

Great Hidden Gems for Jogja Tourism. Please keep the cleanliness. Beware of using the toilets here, they will charges you without any infornation before. The beach was great, good view, clean sands. This beach is not forbiden for swimming or any sea-water activities, dangerous wave but it is beautiful. Enjoy!

White sand, clean, breezy wind, small sawungs selling indomie. Perfect! Not so crowded here. Pinched by 2 hills, so you can hike up and see the vew from above. Next beside the hill is a virgin beach. Even more empty, if you want some really quite place to enjoy the nature.

White coral sandy beach caters to young and oldies. A lovely strech with 1 side with coral area - safe for small children to swim and have a bath and the other side for good wavy beach. It can cater all level of age - bear in mind that walking in deep sand is quite tiring for some old people. Access road from main road is quite bumpy rocky one. 700m to reach the beach may need extra caution driving as the road is not asphalt one but rather rocky and cemented pavement. Be careful and you'll be fine. I drove odyssey and it required a very very very extra slow drive. Parking is easy and will not require far walking to the front beach. For cars, it is 5K IDR. Eating stalls are available for few vendors, public toilets as well praying area. Cabanas are available but rather far from the water. Bring your own beach chairs or beach mat for max enjoyment. You can access all up to the big rock for taking some good pictures - add access may cost you no harm. You can camp here. Bring your own or rent a tent for 50K. Else - there are some villas to rent. Overall - a recommended spot.
Putri S — Google review
Best place to camp is at the corner of the beach because car was parked right behind our tents and it was surrounded by trees where we hangs our hammock. Camp utilities are rented, and the tents were built before our arrival so it’s very much convenient. Toilet using were free upon camping rentals. It also the closest to a walkway to neighborhood beach (pantai Drini) that offers much more activities like paddling, canoeing and sunbathing. They provide umbrellas and gazebos for rent. Gazebo rent is 50k IDR for 2 hours.

Sepanjang Beach is one of the beaches in Yogyakarta located in the Gunung Kidul area. This beach has a beauty that is no less good than other beaches. This beach can also be made snorkeling by young people. In addition to the beauty of white Pasuruan, the water in this beach is also still quite clear. The tourists will not regret coming to this place.

So far away off from the main Yogyakarta city centre but it is worth to go. The view to. Go there is beautiful. Amazing landscape. The beach it selff is pretty popular. White sandy beach. Good for family picnic. Lots of warung selling yummy seafood menu. Including some fritters such as crab and fish. The road to get here is a bit narrow, so please stay alert during your drive/ride. I did not see any homestay or hotel around here but I chose to stay in Yogyakarta, go there in early morning and spend the day to lunch there. There are other tourism spot on the way to the beach so feel free to try everything. It was pretty clean actually.

beatifull scenery, amazing.a bit far from entrance. but you can rent a motorcycle (ojek) 5000 rupiah for one way per person. far if you go by walking to the beach.beach is hidden, need go down by walking. you can snorkle here, and cheap for snorkling. if you want to snorkling, please come in the morning because after 11.00am the wave become big and bigger.

Very beautiful place, polite and friendly people and also very affordable too, the only downside is the lack of signal reception with ALL providers and a relatively shallow place to swim. Entry ticket per person is 5k from the gate, 50k for snorkeling & swimming bundled with Underwater photograph & 35k for the bridge crossing. Additional fees are 4k for taking a shower, 2k for changing, 5k for ojek ride to the beach (you can walk for free, it's around 5-10 mins). Food is relatively cheap, 150k for a portion of 5 people. Recommended to find time off-season to snorkel and enjoy the beach, remember to bring a wetsuit along with GLOVES, the corals are sharp, and the sea is shallow, YOU WILL GET CUTS IF YOU SWIM WITH NORMAL CLOTHES.

The place was cool! It has many activities to offer, even for a snorkeling. You better coordinate with the admin when is the best time to snorkeling. Fee for activities also wasnt very expensive. The beach itself is still clean. Oh, use ojeg to go inside the beach. Its quite a walk to go there.

One of the best beach in Gunungkidul. The access is limited, you can not bring your car here. You can take a 800 m - 1 km walk from the parking area to the beach, or you can ride your motorbike / take ojek motor (Rp 5000 per person). There's a snorkeling shop facility so you can rent snorkeling equipment there.

The beach is surrounded by 40-meter cliffs, providing a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset without any crowd. It's a favorite beach in Jogja with its stunning ocean views and refreshing sea breeze. The grassy expanse on the rugged cliff makes it an ideal place to unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
This beach faces directly toward the ocean with cliffs that make the sunset view really striking. The entrance is simple, with a small ticket fee, and the area is usually quiet, away from the city noise. It’s often used for camping or night photography like capturing the Milky Way. For those who plan to stay overnight, it’s best to bring enough supplies such as food, water, and extra power, since the nearest village is still some distance away.

Coming here is a bit of challenges, narrow road, slippery path, yet the scenery here worth all the sweats. I got wrong advertise on IG which said that this is a good spot to view sunrise, but in the contrary, locals said it is well known for it's beautiful sunset. We come very early in the morning around 4AM, nevertheless we still amaze with the breathtaking views. Note: since it's actually a cliff please watch your step carefully.

Sadranan Beach is a hidden gem that beckons snorkelers and beach lovers alike with its soft white sands and tranquil waters. Renowned for its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life, this beach offers an unforgettable underwater experience. The gentle waves make it ideal for both relaxation and exploration, while the presence of gazebos provides comfort for visitors looking to unwind.
We came during Ramadan, so the beach was deserted. We loved the clean white sand and the gentle wave. We could do some snorkeling in early morning, spotted some live coral and plenty of fish at the east side, near the rock island. But visibility quickly diminished with the tide. Locals say it's best to visit near the dark moon when tide is gentler. There are huts to rent for 30k. We can continue walking eastward to Ngandong beach.

Amazing view, clean beach. I heard Its the only beach on the area where you could play with the water. There is coral plateu, separating the beach area from outer sea. So the wave that reaching the beach isn't too strong for south java sea, but it still strong in my opinion, though. There's also alot people who renting tools for 'diving'. I put the word diving inside apostroke, because it isn't real diving. But be warned, there is a lot people who asking for money on the way until you reach the beach. Some is official, but others isn't. The official one is only Rp9.500,-/person by the local goverment (at the moment). But you some people also want to 'rob' you by asking parking fee, deposit fee, etc2. Also becarefull when choosing 'warung' if you decided to buy food or drink. Because some of their the food is literally a scam. And be warned again, the small hut there is rented, not free. At the moment, you need to pay Rp.30.000,- for one session.

The main fish port in Yogyakarta. You can find fisherman with 1month trip, 10days trip, 5days trip, or 1day trip based on their size of the boat (the bigger, the longer trip). If you want to see the fisheries activities, my experience in the early January was came here on Saturday at 9 a.m and wait for the 5days trip's boat to come at TPI. They may bring fish like tuna or skipjack. The loading takes about 90minutes before it's transported to the nearby storage owned by local's. Wait for another hour then it will be transferred to the fish market if you want to see/buy them. If you want to search some lobsters you may come to the smallest boat (1day trip), because mostly they only hunt for some crustaceans. Kalisuci Cave Tubing is a popular tourist attraction in Gunungkidul, located about 50 km from Yogyakarta. It offers an exhilarating underground river adventure through limestone caves using inflatable tubes. This activity combines cave exploration and body rafting, making it suitable for all ages. The tour takes visitors through stunning limestone gorge and caverns with the opportunity to jump into the crystal-clear blue/green water at various spots along the way.
It's so beautiful, experience is top notch. Guides are fun and professional, ensuring safety, fun at the same time. More importantly, they are also great photographers. An even more amazing experience compared to Jomblong.

Fantastic experience! We went cave tubing in Kalisuci and loved it. Just the two of us, always felt safe, and still had so much fun. Beautiful scenery and great guides — highly recommended!

It’s a great experience. The cave is beautiful and natural. On the finish spot, you need to climb up a bit to reach the main road and it’s kinda steep so make sure you’re strong enough to climb 5-floors stairs. The staff are awesome and friendly; they explain the history of the cave along the way, casually have a chat with us, help us taking photos and suggest the best photo spots/poses.

Totally recommend this. Very beautiful cave and friendly workers there. Very fun experience. Only thing is after all the fun, there are some steep steps to climb up. Recommend to bring your own water shoes and waterproof phone pouch. The workers there are very good in taking pictures too

A magnificent hidden beach for those who love adventure! It can only be reached 45-minute on foot. If you bring vehicles then park them in Wediombo beach area. The next thing you find after you start walking is a rocky path with dry lands as far as you can see. It's a really challenging adventure, moreover if you go there with your kids. They loved it very much though. Yet you have to be careful with the sheer rock face. The beach itself is still quiet and clean. Feels like it's a private one. There is a small food stall whose seller is friendly and helpful. The couple provide clean bathrooms and nice simple food like egg and rice, instant noodle and such. The price is cheap too. They also rent dome tent, since this beach is also a favourite camping destination. So if you love a thrilling journey, then Greweng beach is definitely for you!
Estu. K — Google review
The path to the beach is hard; not suitable for any (Indonesian) eldery since it's rocky, pretty slippery when and after raining, and it's basically tracking. But the effort is worth it; Greweng is a cozy, not-very-wide beach with a stunningly beautiful scenery. The water is clear and rocky cliffs give us shade when it's sunny. Not much people know (and have efforts to go to) this beach, so it feels like a private beach for anyone who get here
Christavia A — Google review
Hidden beach, perfect for camping in here, to reach this place you must walk 30 minutes till 1 hour, but the panorama is amazing, worth it if you look for quite place, because just some people know this place and want to go here cause of the accessibility, but the road construction still on going, hope it will be done as soon as posible
Raden A — Google review
Actually this beach is beautiful, but you need to exert all of your energy to get here. You have to do trekking for around 45mins, uphill and downhill, plus the path isn't smooth. I suggest you to come here after 3PM, because this place is so hot!!! Do not forget to bring water, because during the trekking you will only find one small stall. You can find another stalls on the beach. This beach is for young people, considering the trekking is quite difficult. But once you get here, it all paid off. The local said not many people know this beach, so you can say this beach is "a private beach" 🤣
Faradilla A — Google review
Lovely guide who brought us to this place. We couldnt swim because of high tide, but still the beach is sooo beautifull, you just have to see it
Esra E — Google review
It will take 30-45 minutes to walk on the easy difficult track. Kids under 3 and moms probably won't make it because the track is unsafe for them to walk on but after finishing the long journey, you'll see the beautiful beach surounded by two beautiful rocks which look like a dolphin and a turtle for me lol. The view is very good, quiet because there are just some people staying there (they usually have a camp there). There are also food stalls which offer cigarettes as well. Importantly, the toilets are clean and they smell at least clean. This is the beach which will make you tired before feeling pleased after seeing its beauty.

Kraton Jogja, also known as the Yogyakarta Palace, is a must-visit destination for those interested in Javanese culture. The palace offers a glimpse into the life of the Sultan of Yogyakarta and features traditional performances such as Wayang Kulit shows. Visitors can explore the living museum within the palace complex, where they can enjoy gamelan music, witness daily activities, and even purchase beautiful Wayang puppets at Astuti Gallery.
We visited this sprawling palace complex on a weekday and it wasn't crowded. Staff here are helpful and there are many historical buildings and items to look at. There was a prayer recital during our visit which was peaceful.
S C — Google review
They had a major renovation since my last visit like 12 years ago. The dioramas/museum or display rooms are air-conditioned. Local tourist entry fee is Rp15,000. Toilets need attention. Kraton is the Sultan’s palace, at least toilets should be cleaner for the visitors to reflect the level of importance of the place. They provide tour guide if you’re interested in the history. Fortunately, there are clear explanation posted on the wall of each rooms and artifacts. Dances performance available as scheduled regularly.
Ira S — Google review
The Yogyakarta Royal Palace, officially known as Kraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat or the Sultan's Palace, is widely regarded as an essential cultural and historical site in Yogyakarta. It serves as the official residence of the Sultan of Yogyakarta and is a living museum dedicated to preserving Javanese traditions. Overall Impressions & Key Highlights The palace holds a strong reputation. Cultural Significance: It is a must-visit for anyone interested in Javanese history, culture, and royalty. It is the political and cultural nucleus of the Sultanate, which is unique in modern Indonesia. Architecture: We were captivated by the traditional Javanese architecture (mostly Joglo style), which features elegant pavilions, intricate carvings, and an overall design that reflects the Javanese cosmos. Many find the courtyards and traditional buildings beautiful and Instagram-Worthy. Authenticity: The Kraton is not just a historical ruin; it is a functioning royal residence and a center where centuries-old traditions are still practiced by the Sultan and his courtiers (Abdi Dalem). Cultural Experiences & Exhibits A major draw for the palace is the living culture it showcases: Cultural Performances:If you time your visit correctly, you can witness captivating traditional performances, Museums: The complex houses exhibits with artifacts from the Sultanate's past, including royal regalia, traditional costumes, weapons, and carriages. Arts and Crafts: Some parts of the complex may offer glimpses into traditional Javanese crafts, such as the process of making batik. ### 🧐 **What to Know Before You Go (Tips & Practicalities)** Reviews often include important practical advice for visitors: Best Time to Visit Mornings are strongly recommended. The palace is less crowded, the weather is cooler, and most importantly, cultural performances typically occur in the morning. Duration of Visit. You should keep 1 hour to 2 hours to fully explore the public areas and museum exhibits. Tickets & Fees The entrance fee is generally inexpensive. Dress Code The Kraton is a sacred and respected place. Visitors are advised to dress appropriately (no hats, modest clothing). Sarongs may be provided or required at the entrance. Ambiance While architecturally stunning, some reviewers describe the experience as "static" or "observational" rather than highly interactive. The focus is on appreciating the history and tranquil atmosphere. Nearby AttractionsThe palace is centrally located and can easily be combined with a visit to the **Taman Sari (Water Castle)**, which is about a 15-minute walk away. | Be aware of touts, particularly near the main gates or the popular Malioboro Street, who may try to lead you to overpriced batik shops under the pretense of a "Sultan's workshop" or offer unofficial services. Stick to the official ticket counter and verified guides if you choose to hire one.

Indonesian cultural heritage that is still preserved until now. Always amazed every time I come here. You can use a tour guide to explain every part of the building and the treasures stored.
Lintang P — Google review
The Yogyakarta Royal Palace (Kraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat) is a highly recommended destination for visitors to Yogyakarta. The palace grounds are exceptionally well-maintained, contributing to a serene and respectful atmosphere. The palace complex features intricate architecture, well-preserved courtyards, and significant artifacts. Our visit was significantly enhanced by the presence of an experienced guide, who provided valuable insights into the history and culture of the palace. Although we were unable to attend a traditional performance, we had the opportunity to observe a rehearsal, which offered a unique perspective on the dedication and artistry of Javanese cultural traditions. This visit provides an insightful exploration into Javanese royalty. P.S. Please be aware of individuals outside the palace who may misinform visitors about temporary closures, attempting to redirect them to batik shops. We encountered this tactic but proceeded directly to the palace entrance. Visitors are advised to verify operational hours independently to ensure an uninterrupted visit.

Interesting tour of the Sultan’s palace. Our guide was helpful and informative. The shadow puppet show and the music was the highlight but appreciated learning so much about the history and culture of the place.

I visited the Yogyakarta Royal Palace and was able to see a traditional dance performance which was very interesting. Shorts are not allowed but you can buy a sarong for 50,000 IDR at a nearby shop before getting your ticket. The palace itself is quite small and in my opinion not that impressive but for 25,000 IDR it is worth visiting if you are in town. It is a nice way to experience a bit of local culture.

Pantai Ngetun is a hidden gem in Gunungkidul Regency, boasting white sandy beaches flanked by two hills or cliffs. The locals often fish for lobsters on these hills. Despite its challenging road access, the beach has become a favorite spot for many due to its stunning views and perfect sunset vantage point. Visitors can camp here and enjoy the tranquility of the place, although they should be prepared with their own meals as local food stalls have limited hours.
Amazing beach ! Suddenly it had become our favorite beach. It also has amazing view point, perfect for sunset. We did camping here and it was like a private beach. The road access was still quite bad, only few kilometres asphalt and the rest was still rocky; your motorbike has to be in a good condition to pass the road. The local warung closed at 5pm and open quite late, better to have your own meal. Parking was 5.000. Tips: If you wanna camp, build your tent at the corner of the beach that is quite distance from the local buildings since at night the men who slept at the buildings played radio with high volume and quite disturbing.

such a nice beach to visit, but the way to get into, u will need a KTM sixdays 2017, with fmf muffler, metzeler tire, motorex oil machine, modified wp suspension, and water

Watunene Beach it is located in GunungKidul district. It Is near South Mountain of Zeruni. The Place is calm, and clean beaches. The water is cool at 10 a.m. There are complate Food Stalls, but the parking area and toilets are still limited, because Watunene Beach is a new beach. I enjoy the fresh air and beatiful beach. I love its natural vibe. I think this beach is couples or bestfriend friendly who want to calm down. but i don't like this place because from the parking area to Watunene Beach we have to walk a few meters first, going down through a rocky path, so be careful! but trust me, Its Worth It guys 🙌

Pantai Watu Bolong is often mistaken for the one near Pantai Wediombo, but it's actually located in the area of Pantai Ngrumput. This serene beach offers a tranquil atmosphere and stunning natural beauty with its rocky coastline. While it's a beautiful spot for sunbathing and camping, visitors should be mindful of scattered litter under the trees.
A lone place, not so many visitors except for night time, there is camping ground.
Galih A — Google review
underrated beach, pretty views, no crowds. would recommend it to people. need at least 5-10minutes walk from the parking lot
Maria K — Google review
Calm beach. My friend and I went here on weekdays. It took around 15 minutes walking to get here from the parking place. This beach located betweeh Pantai Ngrumput and Pantai Drini
Retno D — Google review
Beautiful, pristine and very quiet beach. Unfortunately there are a lot of litters scattered around just under the shades of trees so if you plan to sunbathe, beware of glasses, styrofoams, etc.

47Water Castle of Royal Jogjakarta

Open air museum
The Water Castle of Royal Jogjakarta is a historical site with plenty of local tour guides available to provide insights into its rich history. It's a great spot for photography, offering beautiful angles to capture. The admission prices are affordable, making it accessible for both local and non-local tourists. Exploring the castle involves lots of walking and stair climbing, with various areas to discover such as an underground tunnel, a mosque, and castle ruins.
Excited to know that there is a historic places of Yogya Royal Kingdom located in the middle of local village. Too bad there is one spot closed due to its preservation reason. The story of this place is so exciting and so philosophical. The ruined tower on top of the village is so instagrammable.
Herry P — Google review
The Water Castle is quite a small place compared to the Sultan’s Palace but still beautiful to visit with its pools and stone carvings. I can imagine it as a private residence for the Sultan it would have been very grand. Unfortunately, I feel the place could do with some investment to be restored better. Unlike the Sultan’s Palace, there is zero information or signage explaining about the purpose of the castle or functions of the rooms or places to go. I’d recommend to hire a guide to learn more- they are usually located inside the entrance in batik shirts with lanyards around their necks. The guys are friendly, kind and polite. Otherwise you’ll end up just aimlessly walking around the castle in 20 minutes and miss some places without any understanding of its history. Do explore around when you enter slowly as once you exit out you can’t come back in. Try to climb the tower to see the view from above. There is one air conditioned room with basic exhibits of the trade spices if you need to cool off. The castle is actually sprawled beyond the confines of the walls amongst the surrounding village with tunnels involved. But the tunnels have been closed to the public since Covid. Villagers will be hanging around the exit area to talk and offer guide advice and also coax to visit local batik and luak coffee shops as well as give a little sight seeing to bits of the castle walls that are still standing in the village. They are polite and not pushy or forceful. Overall a pleasant visit :) if you want less crowds come early. There are plenty of local eateries and fancy cafes around the main entrance if you fancy to have lunch before heading in :)
Daezjn — Google review
Pretty small garden and fountain area. It would definitely be a lot more enjoyable if staff would prevent people from pretending they own the place and doing their private photoshoots there, taking up spots for 15 minutes while the majority of people just want to take a quick picture. Also, it's sad to see people tag their names all over the walls and leave trash everywhere. Staff definitely don't upkeep the place enough or keep an eye on what people are doing...
Ilse E — Google review
Nice and quiet former royal gardens and baths of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta. There are many beautiful details to see. The bathing complex is best preserved and has a tower from which the Sultan supposedly could observe the women bathing below. When I was there a guide kindly took me too four staircases via a sort of hidden route. Those staircases reminded me of the work by M. C. Escher. The four lower staircases represent the four main religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam. From the the platform where they meet one staircase goes up to heaven where God rules over all.
Seimen B — Google review
It's quite busy, especially relatively big groups. 25k entry fee for a foreign adult ticket. It's nice to do when you've got some time to kill in Jogja, but not a must see.
Marina H — Google review
A place to go. Yes full of tourists but if you imagine they may disappear, it makes you feel better
G. C — Google review
Getting a guide makes ALL the difference. They're cheap and incredibly knowledgeable. We would have missed the grounds outside of the immediate pool area if it weren't for the guide. Plus learned a lot about the city's rich history.
E A — Google review
Pretty darn amazing. I am not one to normally hire a local to give me a private tour. Maybe I am too proud (or cheap) but I was reluctant to let some random guy off the street walk us through the water castle. Either way we did let him stick around and tell us the history (or his version of the history). I have to say it was a great decision to walk around with him. He had a plethora to say about each and every room and the rooms function. If he wasn't there I probably would have been guessing at each and every rooms intended role. The tour went easily over an hour and we saw several rooms I would not have seen unless we were following our guide. The craftsmanship and size of this place was impressive and I am glad we took the time to go out there. It's located a walking distance from the sultan's castle and both could easily be done in the same day. I would recommend coming out to see this.

Pantai Ngrawah is a hidden gem nestled in Gunungkidul, offering an escape from the hustle and bustle of more popular beaches. This secluded spot is surrounded by lush fields and requires a bit of effort to reach, with rocky terrain and steep paths that can be challenging, especially after rain. However, the journey is well worth it for those seeking tranquility.
Best beach ever! So private, so quite, so beautiful. I can spend my quality of me time here. But i had to tracking a bit to reach this place. More efforts than another beaches. But it was okay! Do we have to do our best to get paradise, right?! Thanks God for this beautiful place. 😎😎😎😍😍😘😘

If you’re looking for a hidden beach that’s still relatively quiet and untouched, Ngerawah might be the perfect escape. But getting there is a bit of an adventure, the road to the beach is quite extreme, especially after rain, so be careful and wear proper shoes

Beautiful scenery, something like private beach because the road kinda hard to explored

I suggest you to prepare walking around 800m from the parking lot and don't forget to bring Sandals because you may get in trouble with the sticky dirt. Nevertheless, the beach was clean and well maintained.

Air Terjun Kedung Kandang is a stunning waterfall located in Nglanggeran, Gunungkidul. Nestled amidst the locals' rice fields and featuring tiered volcanic rock formations as its base, this natural wonder lies to the south of Mount Api Purba Nglanggeran. To reach the waterfall's beauty, visitors must trek from the parking area through a scenic trail. The site offers picturesque views and is popular for Instagram-worthy photo backdrops.
Let me start by saying this place is the definition of off-the-beaten-path. Most locals don't even care to know where this is. You'll arrive at the start of the hike down to the waterfall where you'll park your car -- bring water and definitely wear your sneakers. This hike down through the rice paddy terraces is no joke, especially in the hot, Indonesian sun. When you get to the waterfall though, you'll totally be amazed by the view. The waterfall itself is cute (make sure you go after it rains to make sure there's actually water flowing...) but the view of the entire valley is stunning. Then, be prepared for the hike back UP.
Aileen — Google review
The waterfall does not exist anylonger, we drove all the way from Jogia for nothing, fortunately close by there are other sites of interest but I could not believe that the waterfall was erased to make a brand new road. 😭😶

Such a nice and beautiful creation of Allah the Almighty. It’s been a wonderful trip for me and my brother visiting and experiencing this fantastic waterfall. ❤️🌿 love it love it love it

Traditional, simple, natural ... Clear sign post about the location. Kindly keeper welcome and greet visitors. The parking area are located in front of cows stalls but the toilet clean enough. Nice place to take a rest before going home after hard adventure ... Don't try enter via exit way ... Its seem easier than the entrance way (even motor bike and cars could pass through) but then will be more risky to reach the waterfall ... Plus not get chance to enjoy the panoramic sceneries

(Translated by Google) Seasonal waterfall, only available during the rainy season. The waterfall is under the bridge, coming here during the dry season so you can only relax in the gazebo. Just enter, you can add directions if you want to see the waterfall. The guard was kind, let him know at the start that there wasn't a waterfall so he could still decide whether to continue to enter the place or not. The entrance ticket price is 5000, parking is 2000. Harga tiket masuk 5000 parkir 2000.

(Translated by Google) First, access to the area is quite challenging, especially for motorbikes. The road that goes up and down for several meters is still two-lane cement. There are slopes that are muddy when it rains and can cause the motorbike to slip. You have to be extra careful. Then, access to the waterfall is also very challenging for those who like nature activities, but it is not for family tourism. Arriving at the location, it turned out the waterfall was just like that. Hehehe. But the staff service is very good. Hehehe. Tetapi pelayanan staff sangat baik.
