A must visit attraction in Varna city even if you are not religious. A beautiful cathedral with artwork and history worth admiring.

I was traveling around the city, when stumbled upon this beautiful monument. Snuck inside, there was some bollards on the entrance. Would not recommend to enter a church with shorts!

This beautiful church has been wonderfully restored recently. Both the exterior and the interior are remarkable. A ‘must see’ place to visit when in Varna! Highly recommended!

A perfect example of the local religious place where you definitely stop breathing while looking upward. Such a charming interior full of paintings, frescas and motives. Even as an atheist you can feel the deep atmosphere inside. Our little children stopped for a moment staring at the beauty. The option of purchasing a candle at the entrance door which lures for setting it on fire on behalf of your (deep/secret) wish. The entrance is free of charge, so don't hesitate to step in.

One of the great attractions in Varna, do visit it and you will enjoy a peaceful time there.

Interesting place with unique architecture, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and told us a lot of interesting stories. There is a great view from the second floor of the monastery.

A very nice morning walk. I took a bus to main road underneath, took a long stroll through the forest and entered the museum and monastery. It’s beautiful scenic and recommended.

Warning, walk up the pathway through the Forrest or drive or taxi, don't take a public bus like I did which stops a long walk away along a busy road very dangerous. 5 lev to get in, small museum, nice interesting place.

I learned so much and really enjoyed this historical educational opportunity. Thank you for maintaining an affordable price to encourage cultural exploration by visitors to Bulgaria. Highly recommend. Wear shoes with good traction and take your time so you can really appreciate the details that they provide.

A pleasant shelter for when you feel warm by the sea. The monastery resembles its more famous counterpart in Vardzia, Georgia.

On the weekends it is super busy so we went on a regular week day. It has a nice big area to walk around in the forest and nice view from the top.

Amazing blast from the past. Besides thousands of antique items from the Soviet era, there is an impressive car collection. Each of the vehicles is perfectly restored and displayed. Very recommended

Great experience, great old cars and old stuff. You can easily waste 1 or 2 hours there and enjoy them. Next to it is a wax museum containing Bulgarian and international celebrities.

Don't be fooled by the car pictures into thinking that this is ONLY a car museum. There are so many household items like hygiene products, toys, musical instruments, televisions, cigarettes, desserts used and consumed by the people in those times. This museum is a travel to the past! I have to say that the price is a bit expensive.

What a fascinating place. I wouldn't call it a museum necessarily, but the collection of cars and everyday items from the communist times in Europe (not much from Asia). If you're a fan of the history of ordinary things and people, this is the place. I probably could've spent hours here, but the air conditioning was not the best so it got a bit stuffy in there. They also play music from the era which is great for the atmosphere. The wax museum is meh, I personally would skip it. Not worth the extra money. There's also a great selection of magnets in the gift shop. I had a hard time choosing ones that I liked.

An amazing museum that takes you back in time. Growing up in the communist times sure brings back a lot of nostalgia and memories. The collection it's just amazing, all the pieces in very good condition and the atmosphere is great. Worth all the money and definitely it's a no miss attraction in Varna!

BGN 30 entry. Large collection of beautifully restored communist era cars, toys and some homewares. Sadly, the music was too loud, none of the car brand names were displayed in English (despite having car info in four languages), and many information displays were blank. There was also no history of, for example, the Soviet car industry and wether people living under communism could actually afford to own or run cars.

Good museum, cool cars and a lot of household objects from the solviet era. Everything was clean and well taken care of, tha cars were fully restored and they had mirrors underneath so you could see the underside. The price was fair (30 leva) The giftstore was lacking a little but all in all very good museum👍👍

Really great place to visit if you love history , cost just 5 lev but need to be cash .

It's a great heritage from the former generation. Well preserved as a ruined condition. Entering inside is much moe better, but if not available outside the view, also quite nice!!

The baths were the heart of the ancient town of Odessos. Today they are in fairly good shape with the excavations still ongoing; it is great that one can wander around exploring the ruins at their leisure. Tickets are sold at the entrance, price is 5 lev.

Very beautiful town with wooden buildings and stone floors. It really brings you back into the past. The architecture is amazing and I definitely recommend visiting this place. A nice atmosphere and good weather.

Was nice to see ancient architecture preserved! It's location is easy to find, can be viewed from the street and has parking opposite, which is also a nice place to park and take a stroll into central Varna. (3 Lev for 3 hours via the parking Varna app).

In order to make this viable the organisers of the attraction need to put up walls around the outside. You can see the whole thing, through the fence in 30 seconds. It’s interesting but it’s not more than a two minute attraction.

Closed :( No display of working hours but I don't think one is needed as everything can be seen from the outside. No displays in Bulgarian or English

I visited it on March 14 2025, and it went back the next morning. It is the most beautiful coastal park that I have ever visited. It is about 2-km long. I am so glad that Varna has kept the prime piece of land for public access.

Huge park along the seaside, great for walks, sports and any activities, beautiful nature! Could be nice to have more coffee shops.

Walk amongst nature with a view of the Black Sea and beautiful flowers and trees. Very wide walkways with room for walking, cycling and resting on the many sitting benches. Numerous plaques and monuments to honor the past and endless flowerbeds to liven up the present.

Worth a visit to take a nice long stroll along the many foot paths. The naval museum is a good visit to see military articles from a few decades ago. DO NOT park anywhere that is not allowed (not even for a few seconds to drop of a mommy and her sleeping baby), the traffic police is quick to pounce and do not take any excuses, then your day is spoiled trying to find a place to pay the ticket. Varna city have nice beach areas and harbour but the rest reflects very much the pre-1989 era.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the most beautiful places in Varna! 🌊🌳 Sea Garden is pure happiness — full of fresh air, peaceful walks, and stunning green nature everywhere. The paths are clean and wide, perfect for walking, jogging, or biking 🚴. The view of the sea from the park is magical and refreshing, especially during sunrise or sunset 🌅. Every time I visit, I feel recharged, relaxed, and grateful for such a wonderful fresh air. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone who wants to enjoy nature at its best. ❤️

Pretty big, lots of space and entertainment. Clean and cosy. Food courts, playgrounds, zoo and even dolphins. We enjoyed it.

It's a wonderful place to visit, it's very whimsical and beautiful, it's calm and the trees are big, the river is beautiful and the elk statue is my favorite spot in Varna, the view of the sea is wonderful too, just amazing overall

I didn't have many expectations before my visit, but I must sincerely say that it is one of the best historical / archeological museums I have seen so far! Very well curated, a lot of objects on display, a lot of information (all of it in Bulgarian and translated into English). I stayed there 4 hours to really enjoy the whole permanent and temporary exhibition. Ticket price is 10 BGN. Cards accepted.

Great museum with lots to see inside! Our guide from the museum was excellent, she gave us a good idea of the history and customs of this beautiful country. Housed in this museum is a gold treasure from Varna Necropolis (4600-4200BC), as well as many other interesting artifacts, such as the remains of the original basilica in Varna.

What a magnificent place. Ten lev entry fee and a couple of hours later your brain is crammed full of the complete history of Varna and Bulgaria. Some really interesting little tales to tell and some excellent artifacts. I like all the gold! An absolute must visit!

The most interesting museum in Varna. Absolutely recommend for visiting for everyone who will stay in Bulgaria. You can find there exhibits from paleolithic age!, exhibits from Varna Eneolith necropolis, there are two floors to explore! And of course, you can find there the most precious exhibits like golden earrings with the image of goddess Nikki from the 4th-3rd century BC.

Verdict: museum with solid exhibit items, good narratives, well-thoughtout route and theme planning for exhibitions, up-to-date museography, complete Bulgarian-English labels and signs -- one of the few museums in Bulgaria that is able to do so. Highly recommend visiting! Details: two floors of exhibitions along very long wings in many rooms, so be prepared to walk. Ordered chronically, each room has complete English texts to introduce the origin and discovery story around the artifacts, and some particularly important or interesting artifacts have their own narratives, also in both Bulgarian and English. There are lots of archeology and historical background info to help you appreciate what you are seeing, and to grasp the long and layered history of Varna and its surrounding regions, and to get a sense of how this place has evolved over millennia. There's no map of the museum at the ticket desk or elsewhere, but the rooms are arranged and laid out clearly enough in chronical order, so just follow each room's entry and exit, then a route will emerge naturally to take you through Varna's history and every room in the museum. Some rooms may have a temporary, thematic exhibition mounted so the chronical route through rooms may be interrupted at some point (there was a temporary exhibition when we visited) but the route returns after the temporary exhibition rooms. Basically just keep walking to and from each room, and you won't miss anything. Facility is update in most rooms with minimal glare glass cases and in-case lighting. Temperature control is in-place as well, at least on the first floor. Protips: - most interesting or impressive stuff, such as craft gold pieces from 5th millennium BC, is on the first floor. - there's an inner courtyard you can hang out or chill at. - you can pay by card.

This museum has amazing artifacts. The first level that covers the prehistoric, Hellenistic, Roman periods is absolutely stunning. Good use of juxtaposition and storytelling. I loved the timeline with some of significant artifacts. Kudos to the team who worked on this section! What a shame I can't say the same for the second level. It feels like thre's no clear and engaging continuity to the history of the region of Varna other than some singular (the proto-bulgars) and with little-context-given exhibitions (the icon exhibition). What about the Ottoman period? There's very little if no attention given to the Renaissance and modern times. What about the Balcanic wars, WWI and WWII?

This museum is absolutely a “must see” in Varna! Yes, there are many things to see and do here, but the holdings of this museum are exceptional and it’s well worth the time to learn Varna’s history. The displays are so well done, and the artifacts themselves of high quality. You’ll start with pre-history and work through two floors to the Middle Ages. There are a number of collections: a coin collection that is world class, a stunning icon collection, and fabulous Greek, Thracian, and Roman artifacts. There’s also a very cool exhibit on underwater archaeology. You can do this museum quickly, but taking the time to read the info boards (Bulgarian and English) will provide an excellent overall history of Varna and Bulgaria. It’s a shame there were only a few of us there today! This museum is a real treasure! Just go!

Its a huge area full off trees and flowers. I think the best time to visit it is June. I was tgere begining of August and as summwr was very hot and dry untill that time, all looked prety poor, flowers didnt bloom much, I didnt see many butterflies or bees. Id say the place needs better maintenance too. As it was so hot and dry, plants needed moe watering. It looked like it didnt get enough. Also all could be done nice, more inviting, that is missing there. Seems thay get parties inside the garden as I saw confetti laying around. It should be forbiden im my opinion as its trash which is not cleaned there (as in many places in Bulgaria). The entrance road is so bad, that I missed it first time, couldnt believe it was there 😳 Lack of advertisings, not easy to find a place if you dont know it, even if its just by the road 😳 Anyway, I will go back there next June and hope to be more satisfied of it 🤞🤞 PS: tickets for the enteance and parking are bought togerher.

Very nice park. Suitable for walks in the nature. Well preserved. No dogs allowed. Clean and tidy u can walk and lay on the grass without any concern.

We enjoyed this place a lot! Really nice for walks, for family parties and picnic. Beautiful flowers, everything is property labeled, facilities are available (wc, tables, barbeques).

Nice to spend a walk with friends or family during sunny days. Rose garden is beautiful and lots of places to sit and chat.

The park is fine, the landscape and trees look lovely, but they don’t allow any animals 😢 no dogs, not even a well behaved cat 😞

Student fee 3 lv. Round tour takes 1-2 hours. When visiting in winter/spring the flowers are not in bloom ofc, so for those who want to see them definitely recommended in summer. One or two more toilets would be nice.

This place is gorgeous, they have stunning flowers and they even have places where you can cook your own food with a chimney in open air. I saw people cooking, reading, having a picnic and children playing.

Really good, thoroughly enjoyed myself. Plenty of nautical artifacts from throughout history, loads of info about the maritime history of Bulgaria and Varna's place within it. Some really interesting things to see and all the exhibits are labelled and explained in Bulgarian and English. Good for a couple of hours

Super cool museum for anyone interested in Bulgarian naval history or just naval matters in general. Neat little military park with various ordnance and pieces of weaponry as well as a few boats. Inside there a numerous exhibits covering all aspects of Bulgaria’s naval history from Roman era, to steam power, the great wars, and the modern day. Military personnel get in free and the park is easily accessible for children and English speakers. Easy way to spend an hour!

Interesting visit today to the museum of naval history in Varna. I liked the outdoor area which has some cool exhibits, Naval weaponry, boats and helicopters. The indoor part of the museum was clean and well kept and had some uniforms and other items from Bulgarias history. The Entrance ticket was around 8leva and I spent around an hour there. Also a large ship outside which is possible to tour for an extra fee but I chose not to.

Very interesting collection of artifacts. You can pay a bit extra and go in the Druzki boat which took part in the Balkan war.

Verdict: informative exhibitions, sensible route planning, but outdated museography and mediocre facility are hard to ignore. Recommended for an hour or two if you are interested in military history, naval history, or Varna and Bulgaria's coastal cities evolution. Details: one building and one garden for two sections of the museum. In the building there are 2 floors of indoor exhibitions, in the garden it's the outdoor exhibitions. Indoor focuses on Bulgarian naval history that span from Greco-Roman times to late 20th / early 21st century, with lots of historical items including photos, documents, uniforms, books, medals, naval instruments, ship models, and artifacts (e.g. swords of important personalities, lighthouse mirrors and lights from late 19th and early 20th century, flags and other insignia). About 80% of labels and board texts are also in English. The curation of items is fairly good, but the presentation -- high glare glass cases, arbitrary and inconsistent lighting, pale font that's hard to read already, then low contrast between font and background colors -- needs major improvement. Outdoor exhibitions have historical ships, helicopters, anchors, artillery, etc. laid out in the garden around the building, and you can go onboard and inside one of the ships (Druzki) there for an extra amount, 6 BGN if memory serves. The staff is professional and helpful for the most part. We spent almost 2 hours there looking at every exhibit item in the building and in the garden. The Druzki ship is rather small and desperately needs cleaning so we didn't go in. Protips: - You can pay for tickets by card. - The ticket office sells not only small souvenirs like postcards and fridge magnets, and also thematic catalogues of the museum's whole collections. If you are interested in specific niche topics in Bulgarian naval history, these catalogues would be a good starting point. - The exhibitions focus on the Bulgarian military navy, not the merchant navy, so if history of the Bulgarian merchant navy is your jam, this might not be the place. - The museum is right by the Sea Gardens, a major leisure spot for locals and tourists alike, so make sure to plan that into your itinerary to the museum.

The museum feels haphazardly put together. They damaged historical value with bad paint jobs. It's worth visiting if you keep your expectations moderate. The price is reasonable, but the saying "You get what you paid for" applies.

Wonderful place to visit in Varna, recommended for both Bulgarian and foreign tourists. You can see the handmade tools used for processing of wheat, traditional clothing, jewelry, sewing machines, typewriters, tools for wine creation and on the second floor they have showroom settings of the city live in contrast to the life in the village. One of my favourite places I visited this summer in Varna!

Very nice cultural museum. Better than some I have visited. Nice collection of artefacts and dresses etc. Could visit with young kids for it is not too big either.

It was my first time visiting a Roman bath, and I was amazed by its size and the impressive height of the ruins - estimated to be around 20 to 22 meters. There seemed to be no time limit for staying inside. # Reason for 4 Star: Only one staff member was present, who sold me the ticket and was polite but neutral. Modern stairs have been added to ease access and protect the site. However, most areas are open to the public with little restriction, making them vulnerable to damage or vandalism. I believe better supervision is needed. More informative signs, photos, and explanations would greatly enhance the experience. A monitor showing animated reconstructions and historical details could also be a great addition. The site looked especially beautiful at night.

A good example how even the greatest empire are falling down, it’s sad to look at these monumental ruins having in mind that the facility was used within a very small period of time (less than 80 years). Despite of that, the spirit of the great empire comes alive when you are among these 2000 years old huge stones….the building is huge, 7000 sq meters and proves how great the Roman Empire was at these times….

If you've never had the chance to see Roman ruins, take this opportunity. We've been spoilt, but these rate well.

Really impressive place, absolutely worth a visit. Entrance fee was 5 LEV, there are also public restrooms. You're left free to roam the ruins, parts of which are still uncovered or just partially excavated, which is really nice. If you venture outside of the well traveled areas watch out for poop in the grass 😉

Fascinating to walk through these roman baths. A major drawback is very little information for self-guided visits other than a few illustrations and maps.

Small sight seeing about ruins of an ancient roman thermal house. Nice but not more than that. It's just a small walk which you have to do when in Varna I guess.

Awesome sight to see, the historic site in the centre of modern times. Great place to walk around and see the ruins of the past.

NOT RECOMMENDED for tourists. Nobody speaks english, not even the cashier, not a single word in english on the information boards. After we paid the FULL PRICE and went inside we realized we can only walk around in the hall as there are no shows on that day. The pictures are nice in the hall, though i could have watched them for free on the internet.

The lecture and movie projected were in Bulgarian, as other reviews said, if you require English lecture please check with the staff beforehand. We were pleased with the visit, lots of visual information and an interesting interactive star video simulation. It is true that Google maps work time is not correct, contact them to plan your visit. We went for the lecture and movie at 4 pm, doors opened at 3 pm.

The working time in Google Maps is wrong. The place was working only Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday while Google Maps showed working time every day but Sunday's, if we knew, we wouldn't waste our time planning it and going there!

It turns out for the whole day (Tuesday) all the movies are in Russian. I feel like we are back in the USSR times. Extremely disappointing- who in modern times knows Russian? In our own country there is not a single movie for a whole day in the local language.

I am an Astrophysicist and i expected something nice but everything is in Bulgarian language. Its chocking to have a scientific place without English translation.

Looks OK but everything is in bulgarian. I think it's common sense for the cashier to tell us that. Literally only the price per child/adult we're translated to english.

The best planetarium. The people there do their job with such passion and love. I have been here a few times and every time it has been an experience! The presentation is so fun and interesting and the stargazing is the best part. If you ever come to Varna this is one of the places you MUST visit. You will instantly fall in love with the stars here (if you had not already). I would recommend this place till the end of time. It will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Although the balcony offers a nice view the overall verdict is: the place offers limited space with very outdated interior and people were struggling getting in and out. If there was any ventilation — it definitely wasn’t good. Very frustrating considering that it was a graduation ceremony and people wanted to see their children and some couldn’t.

Unforgettable experience. If you have a standing ticket, you should be ready to stand for around 3 hours on one spot.

It's very good place, well organised.

I have used this place before, was in search of a venue for a seminar later this year. I knew I would find what was required here, and so it turned out. Staff were brilliant and with my colleague we were sorted and booked in withing 30 minutes. Great service 👏 👍 👌. The level of service and cooperation from the staff was much appreciated by all who attended the seminar, the facilities too are fantastic.

Beautiful clock, sadly you can not enter or read about the history of it around it.

The Clock Tower of Varna, built in 1888, is one of the city's oldest and most recognizable landmarks. Located in the city center, near the Cathedral of the Assumption, it originally served as a firewatch tower, allowing the fire brigade to monitor the area before the invention of the telephone.

Pretty Town Clock tower. I love the old/ancient look, although it might not be intentional.

Excellent clock tower in the centre of Varna. Great design/construction work. An open park neighboring, also the odd busker from time to time and plenty of seagulls!

Clock tower is one of the attractions in Varna and makes part of important historical heritage of the city. Unfortunately, in October 2022 the area was closed for visitors and had some construction works going on on premises and in the area around.

The clock tower of Varna was built in 1888, and designed by the architect Sava Dimitrievich. The tower is made by stone fire with a clock, and at the height of 24 meters.

I assume this is an important meeting place in the city centre for local people in Varna. It is nice surrounded by a big park and also nearby the cathedral (the one from the postcards with Varna views). Didn't climb up and not sure if it is possible.

A bit over the top place with not too many games. Of course, great fun for children. Paid parking and several restaurants are available nearby. Just cash.

Awful parking guys , they are rude and shouting at use , wont accept card and dont tell any solution what to do. We were with kids and they were crying, ATM wasnt working and still they wont let us go without 2 lev - 1 euro what kind of behavior is this . Awful

This place is amazing. I can still can hear the screams of the people upon the booster (a big wheel spining with 4g pressure). It has carousel, a fat train, a big wheel and many other small things that every Luna park has. It is a great experience for a family.

The park is well maintained but you'll have trouble finding rides if you're an teenager/adult. The tickets are overpriced (12 lev per person for example).

Biggest attraction park in Varna, but not too much impressive comparing to some of the parks in Europe Big ferry while, everything else is more oriented to kids and teens, in my opinion Overall worth a visit if you are into such things

Went for a stroll during the day. It was very pleasant. I guess at night with the amusement park open it's even more compelling.

Not one of the best beaches but it was not as crowded as the others. The water was not very clean but still better than the central beach

Beach with beach bar and restaurant. The beach is nice, you have music all the time there and you can choose between different sunbed options. Two sunbeds with one umbrella are 24 leva. The umbrellas are quite close to each other, you will get to know your neighbours. You have Wifi at the beach. Behind the restaurant you will find toilets for beach guests. You can order foods and drinks from the bar. We had coffee and fresh orange juice, both was good.

Such a beautiful monastery, the first place to visit in this location.

I'm not a religious person, I came here for baptism. It's a tiny little chapel, cosy and personal. The Priest was nice, obviously very good with screaming kids. Recommended if you need this kind of thing in your life.

Beautiful monastery with a small church. It's open every day from 8:30 to 18 o'clock, while the mass is celebrated on Sundays starting at 8:30 - the morning service even starts at 7:30. In St. Konstantin and St Elena there are surely some nice hotel buildings and nature, but my personal highlight is the monastery itself.

An active historical monastery located close to the sea. Worth a visit not just for praying. Open to visitors at 9 a.m. The entrance is free and you can leave a donation if you want, there is no guard at the entrance but there are signs asking not to enter with sleeveless shirts. Please respect The place .

Fab cool beaches not busy with rocks in the middle of the sea so onecan stand up. Not too busy and the water is clear. Sometimes there is explicit English music playing but if you ask the lifeguards they will change it.

No shorts, no this or that- no joviality! And still have to pay to get in..... Sited in the middle of a tourist resort - never thought to pack my cold weather /long John wear, and plan to be miserable on holiday! Gave it a miss. Life should be give and take and mutual respect.

Good for price but fish tanks are really small for the amount of fish in the tank and size of the fish, small alligator was swimming back and forward struggling to turn as tank was too small for it, some tanks clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while

A small but charming place that’s worth a visit — especially with kids! We loved seeing the axolotl, the amazing creature that can regrow parts of its body, even parts of its brain! The aquarium may be small, but it has a unique selection of local sea life and some surprising creatures. A nice educational stop during your time in Varna. Great for curious little minds!

This is one of the architectural jewels of Varna- small but beautiful building showing sea species mostly from the black sea but also more exotic ones. The place is particularly attractive in the hot summer days if you want to escape from the heat 🥵 The only disadvantages I see are the fact that there is no WC facility at all and people are advised to visit surroundings restaurants instead. Another inconvenience is that only cash is allowed for payments. However tickets are still so cheap that we can swallow this small inconvenience.

Really cool little aquarium! It’s a small place but still excellent value. My daughter was very happy to see they had an axolotl! All sorts of interesting fish here. Definitely worth a visit.

It is very small, very poorly maintained. We counted 3 dead fish while we walked. I wished it was better maintained, as I have very fond memories of my childhood visiting it.

It's an post sovietic aquarium. Everything is old. The fish are crowded. Not very impressive. Looks more like a jail for fish. For 4 leva / adult ticket I think it's ok. The entrance looks like an abandoned and vandalized place.

It is good venue but very hard to park.

I attended several times to watch the CEV European Volleyball championships. Great venue for it but parking was very limited.

From what I personally saw of the PCS, it was quite spacious, definitely enough to house AniFest 2025 while we were there. But there were lacking in the AC department. I hear it's a very common problem among these massive buildings, but it was especially hot during the two days we visited. Otherwise, a great mega building fit to house sporting and other kinds of events!

I've been there a few times and I don't think I'll ever be disappointed! There are loads of different events being held at this place and they're all interesting and they're worth being visited! The hall is tremendous and it holds at least 4 thousand people!

Iconic place in Varna, still lots of great cultural and sports events are taking place there. I used to train badminton for 14 years there, table tennis is the major sport there at the moment though. From 2019 the Palace is going to host prime martial arts sport events, cannot wait!

The Varna Opera (Bulgarian: Варненската опера) is an opera house in Varna, Bulgaria. It is part of the Opera and Philharmonic Society of Varna, founded by a merger of the Opera House and Philharmonic Society in 1999. The theatre itself originally opened in 1947. -wikipedia-

1 star for the venue, 1 star for the concerts. However, you can't buy tickets online.. It's not serious that in 2024 one of the major culture venues in the country does not allow customers to buy tickets online. I had to go 3 times on 3 different days to try to get a ticket. The first day - the opera was closed during the official working times ( Saturday 21.12.2024 at 11 am). The next day I went and the lady at the ticket counter told me that there are few tickets left but her system does not work, so she told me to come the day after around 10 am. I arrived today (23.12.24) and the same lady told me at first there are no tickets anymore, then she switched and started telling me that the system does not work... I wasted 2 hours of my life, trying to give my money to them.. It's ridiculous how things can be much better with just tiny investment and effort. The management needs a serious overhaul.

small but decent theater. visited it several times. but in my opinion the opera house building should not be painted in "floor" paint. it should be in light colours, bcs with this brown paint it looks like a village/selski club. *IMHO

Opera Varna is another place to visit in the city. It is located in the center and has beautiful architecture. Was lucky to visit it for opera and ballet. The performance is great. Interesting and entertaining

I believe there are some seat that should lot be sold.

We loved the opera theatre! It isn’t large but nice and comfortable, and it somehow has a homely feel. We had Karmen, and voices were mostly very good to excellent, especially Jose, the orchestra was excellent, and the ballet was great. We’ll be definitely coming here regularly. As an additional bonus, there is a parking within a five-minute walk and a couple of good restaurants for a pre-theatre meal.

As good as the show was i would never go back as the dolphins are in a small tank and never seem to have a break if the shows not on you can see them from the cafe swimming with tourists in their small tank. The tank is far too small for one dolphins let alone 5 I really hope they have somewhere else to swim and not just what we saw. Coming down the stairs we saw a tiny tank that had some seal hope that is not there home too that it was just being cleaned or something.

Short show duration for the price with bad sound quality to listen speak from moderator. The dolphins have small water area I think. For the price the place not too much clean. Toilets are small and dirty. For the price pro. Kid's enjoy program, but I think that for the price is service not to adequate.

A great place to visit, especially for families. Absolutely worth the extra money for the VIP area as the seats are much more comfortable and well spaced, this also gives you the best views. The show is presented in Bulgarian and English, approx 45-60 mins. After the show check out the cafe with a view into the dolphin tank.

A great experience for children and adults. The dolphins are playful and perfectly trained- you get the feeling from the whole performance that they are enjoying the show too. A wonderful performance , definitely worth a visit, thank you!

Was suddenly in tears after the first few minutes, so was my wife. Don't know why, but the dolphins (which are truly extraordinary) made me very emotional, and I'm usually the most careless dude ever. The show takes about 35-40 minutes. It's amazing since it is also very interractive with the public. Price was 30bgn/adult, kids under 2 free We went for the show at 15:30. There's no parking there. You can arrive by car/cab, but you can't leave your car parked there (although there would be a few spots available in front of the dolphinarium). Please park in the Municipality Parking (13 mins away walk, 2 mins away by car).

Too expensive for such a short show. And the organization for buying tickets and seating on the benches is not good. There is not even a seat number and you have to compete for a better position in the row. And the base is very old, I was there as a child and nothing has changed. The attendance is high, and the price is high, they should offer much more. (It is according to my experience in other countries).

I had a great time at the Varna Zoo. The whole place was clean, well-maintained, and easy to walk through. All of the animals looked healthy and well cared for, which made the visit even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the chance for kids to feed the deer—something they clearly loved. It’s a nice way to let children interact with the animals in a safe and respectful environment. Overall, it was a really pleasant visit. If you’re in Varna and looking for a family-friendly activity, the zoo is definitely worth checking out.

A really nice place and definitely worth a visit in Varna. The animals seem to be doing well and look healthy. There are a lot of different animals and you can get to know them surprisingly close. The park is quite small and you can walk through it in about an hour. The entrance fee is really small, so it is definitely worth a visit.

It's a great place to bring kids to spend the day at. The entrance fee per adult is 3 leva which is quite cheap for the animals they have inside. Most of the animals are in cages that result small for their sizes, such as the bear or the linx, they were quite stressed walking around over and over again the same way.

Zoo in centre of Varna. Entry is 6 leva. It’s not big and took an hour to walk around. Fairly quiet and the big cats seemed to be sleeping in the afternoon so not seen.

Children friendly and safe. You'll need to purchase a ticket at the entrance. The zoo clos3s by 6pm.

Great set up and very professional. The only disappointment was the food in the restaurant - massively over priced and overcooked. Order fresh pasta from the back not the stuff sitting in the front. The website does not tell you to bring your own flip flop (mandatory ) towels and dressing gown - so we got stung on that but it was priced fairly. Will go back

A wonderful place to relax by the sea! The thermal pools are amazing, the spa area is modern and clean, and the atmosphere is calm and refreshing. The view of the Black Sea makes the experience even better. Perfect for a peaceful wellness day.

The thermal pool experience was amazing, staff were nice and helpful, the place is clean has a steam area, aromatic sauna, regular sauna a salt room, therapeutic pools and indoor pool. The massage aromatherapy massage was average, the smell was great and cleanliness of the rooms but the masseuses were not that good. But overall good value for money.

Great place to spend the day relaxing on the swimming pools and the sauna and disconnect from your every day life. But, and this is a big but... every year the drinks and the food get worse. After eating sausages, I had to eat ice cream to remove the bad taste. So, don't eat inside, have a good breakfast.

Hi All, We have visited the Thermal beach resort in the first week of June. Have to say, this place was recommended to us by the dentist from Golden Sands. We are so happy for taking the advice. Place is amazing, very clean, well maintained. Staff in the reception is speaking very good English. Pricing is clear enough; however, you are being timed from the point of entry to the point of exit at the reception. So, if you want to avoid additional charges, time your exit well. Facilities are all in very good condition, plenty of lifeguards, clean toilets and there is restaurant available too, that serves nice food, not overpriced. There are two dedicated children swimming pools, big family pool, something for the swimmers and few Jacuzzis and saunas (you need to pay extra) We are family of 5, 2y. o+5y.o+4y.o and everyone was happy. Adults can enjoy bar and alcoholic drinks, there are also smoothies, crisps, and some more healthy options. I would advise to book the whole day to visit it. It is only a short drive from Golden Sands and well worth it. only cons - lockers can become bit overcrowded and as they open remotely, you can’t really sit on the bench. You need to facture in the parking fee as it is not covered in the entry ticket.

Love this place it is amazing place to spend the day with kids. The place has around 14 pools for baby's and for adults. Also sauna with amazing view towards black sea, cryotherapy and cryocamera, massage, relaxing zone, bars, buffet, lockers, all swimming pools are heated and this is amazing. Clean and mentained at highest quality. Parking is within metres. Family ticket is the best value. Sunbeds are nice and comfy. Amazing place I highly recommend 👌 ☺️ 👍 👏

It was a nice trip, perfect for a day with rainy or cloudy weather. The kids loved it. The butterfly house is smaller than I expected it and located in the basement. The restrooms are disgusting to be honest, so try to avoid if possible. Tickets are quite expensive for adults for what you get, we could take at least the family offer+1 extra ticket which is a bit cheaper (10€ per adult, 5€ per child, family offer 25€ instead of 30€). The person showing us the animals was constantly typing messages on his cell phone, even during explaining, which was odd to me. There was a big variety of butterflys, you could even watch the ones hedging. Touching is not allowed but there were pieces of oranges where the butterflys would go to, so you could take the orange with the butterfly for a photo. The temperature is rather high and humid so watch out if you have problems with that climate. The butterfly room was nicely decorated especially the photo wall.

Fabulous! The best was the lovely lady who told me the history of Bulgaria in great detail but so I could understand it. Over three levels in a historic building. I thoroughly enjoyed the videos, the first was a master shoemaker making shoes and boots, the second was a felt hat being made.

What a gem of a museum! Even taking your time, it’s about an hour, but well worth making the effort to learn about this important period of Bulgarian history. For English/Russian speakers, Stefka - an amazingly knowledgeable and passionate guide - comes out to talk with you about the time period, then you walk through on your own, but can ask any questions. (There are also printed guides in various languages, but she makes it so interesting!) I learned so much about Bulgarian/Varna history - this is a perfect companion with the Archaeological Museum. It’s very close to both the larger and smaller Roman baths, which can be very hot - this museum is air conditioned!!! Highly recommend! Thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge about Bulgaria! (Very easy to just walk in for the 5 Lev ticket.)

Magnificent place! Even though I'm born and raised in Varna, I realized I don't know much about the history of my home town. The staff is super friendly and polite. The lady that was giving us the tour was a great historian. I recommend this place!

The park was decently priced and you could see lots of things like the memorials and the actual museum. It was air conditioned and well organised inside. There are quite a few spots to sit outside. The only thing that was a let down was the parking as there was none so we had to find a nearby plaza

Very nice little park, some interesting historical reminders and the exposed artefacts really helps to recreate the picture of the real battle. It is speacial to know, that it is the very same place where the final battle happened. Unfortunatelly, the earlier builded Thracian tomb(on the same spot), was closed due to restoration. The museum staff were also very kind and polite. Will be even better if there are availiable more examples of costumes, shoes, shirts of the soldgiers and the general, and maybe some types of food/drinks delights, which were traditional for the times around 1444.

We thoroughly enjoyed nearly 2 hours walking through the galleries in this amazing building. I particularly appreciated the variety of artists, eras and styles displayed on the 1st floor galleries that clearly demonstrate the depth of artistic heritage from this region, which I did not expect. I only wish I had a chance to watch a performance in the beautiful space "sous les combles". [and entrance to art gallery is free!!!]

I really enjoy the visit, and yesterday there was a nice piano concert with Brahms and Mozart melodies. I highly recommend for art lovers.

We came here quite spontaneously and were positively suprised. Honestly, we didn't expect much but the exhibition was beautiful and quite interesting. The ticket is very cheap (1 lev per person - as a student) and you get to experience a couple of nice hours surrounded by quiet and beautiful art. We would definitely recommend a visit!

We were so lucky to see the temporary exhibition International watercolor & spirit (IWS Bulgaria), amazing paintings from all over the world. The permanent collection is also a must see. We always visit the art museum 🖼 🎨 when we are in Varna and we were always surprised by the temporary art collections. It's a healthy habit for mind and soul ✨️ I added just a few photos, I liked it so much that I bought the catalog.

Quite small collection and of mainly one artist. We couldn't quite make sure if all were originals. Best part was the photo contest entries of magnificent photo prints. Spent most of the time there. But...for the minimal entry fee a sight to check on a rainy day.

We have visited the exhibition of reptiles, for varan and snakes lovers it was great! The fee is for Bulgaria high, and in the tent is really very hot, but I really enjoyi it.As I have said, I am fan of reptiles.

A small museum, with a basic exhibition related to the local environment. It's one of the attractions of the lovely Varna park along the beach.

Lots of specimens to see on relatively small area. Not exactly natural history museum, but shows some basics with accent to local flora and fauna. Accessibility in building definitely not designed for disabled or elderly people (steep staircase inside/narrow passes), though perfect place to bring kids. Not least staff is friendly.

Quite small and they do not have English translations of some of the stuff but i enjoyed it a lot!

Pretty little museum. Well kept with nice exhibits (including a rather scary teacher). Sadly, absolutely pointless if you don't speak or read Bulgarian. I could have used translation software more, but the exhibits are very text heavy, and in the end I couldn't be bothered. I spent five minutes there.

It's interesting, but I would like to see more descriptions. There's surprisingly little information about the Bulgarian national movement. There's not much text in general and most of it focused on the building of the museum and Varna as a city.

Nice view but requires refurbishment,... the seaport lighthouse is lovely but difficult to reach ( no signs ). The walking way requires some refurbishment.... but definitely a visit worth!

Its a lovely walk although when you get there you kinda have to ask yourself if thats it. The way to the light house has some nice points but no shade and no explanations.

It's a simple little lighthouse with a nice view of the harbor. The walk is a little long to get there but when I went there was only one other person going to see it so it was nice and peaceful walking out to it. The lighthouse itself isn't spectacular but there is a pretty painting on the back side.

A long walk to the end of peir but nice, you can swim on the harbour side as it's very calm. The light house has graffiti all over the stone work but there is a religious symbol on the base.

Currently you can’t really swim in the pool beacause it’s being used for waterpolo. And also there are dozens of seagulls swimming in the pool

Really nice place to try wake boarding. You can choose to either go for the lesson or just rent the equipment and go for it. I chose to do the lesson first, which was a great instruction. They also tie you up with a mic-helmet after so you receive additional instructions. Really enjoyed it and after 10 mins was able to ride the wave! Very nice people, relaxed atmosphere. ☀️🌱

A unique place for wakeboarding. You will be served by a great team with a lot of experience! For beginners and advanced, pleasure is guaranteed. I recommend it! 🏄🌞⛱️

As a beginner, I opted for the 70-leva package, which included lessons from an instructor. The instructor spoke English very well and was very polite. Unfortunately, I don't recall his name. After the instructional process, I entered the water, and he gave me a helmet with a communication device. He instructed me from the shore about my position on the board and in the water. I would totally recommend it for beginners.

You find great people there, willing to help you to learn how to take the turns if you are a newbie. The water was great (beginning of June). All in all, a great experience.

My girlfriend and I went here yesterday and the staff at the boys at the wake boarding were really cool, but the woman and the guy at the store were horrible! We used 95 leva and i wanted a corona bear, but they did not have it so I bought it next “door” and sat down, then the man came and yelled at me because i did not buy beer from them.. Then I go to them again and try to buy two Stella and again they say they dont have it so I go and buy again from next door, and again they go crazy 😅 I tried to tell them that I have spent almost 100 leva at their store, but she did not listen and walked away as I was speaking.. We stod up and wanted to leave so I tought I can go and buy smokes from them as a “peace offering” and the lady says “We dont sell smokes, you can buy it from next door” 😂😂 Horrible service from the two, but again good service from the boys at the wake shop 🙌

Awesome place to spend some time in varna, the beaches are not too crowded, the food court has some good options and at times even live bands! Wakeboarding is awesome as well, harder than it looks.

Церковь до сих пор(!)настаивает на сносе памятника и называет скульптора сатанистом, а шокированный такими обвинениями автор утверждает, что и в мыслях ничего подобного не имел, он просто хотел порадовать детей, и украсить любимый город. Тем более что источник, над которым стоят драконы, является целебным. Вода из него лечит бесплодие и болезни мочеполовой системы. Поэтому пока церковь возмущается, люди все равно идут к источнику и пьют воду.

Nice place for shopping with lots of stores, a great kids zone, and a super cinema! 🎬🧒 But on rainy summer days, parking is chaos. It says “2 hours free” everywhere, but I had to pay after 1:59! The machine asked me to pay, so I had to block the traffic just to go back and pay — very frustrating and confusing. Also, the toilets seriously need more cleaning. Whatever it takes — just keep them clean, please! 😅🚗🛍️🙏

Good mall for shopping and eating. Very clean, with interesting decor and options. I wish the free-parking offer was longer than 2 hours, it seems very small time to visit more stores in a mall. Reasonable time would be at least 4 hours IMO

A good size mall with a variety of shops. Bern twice now and on both occasions the men’s toilets on the first floor are totally unhygienic. Looks like not been cleaned for weeks or the clientele just mess it up.

Good sized mall with fun GOOGLE style branding. Very full mall but not particularly busy, not many empty stores here, predominantly retail but had the Retro Museum here and Cinema, amusement arcade and food court. Shops are a series of the big mega brands and smaller more local to Bulgaria stores.

One of the biggest shopping centres in Varna

Out of all the beach bars in Varna, this was our favorite! Very nicely decorated, the staff is always helpful and alert. The food and the drinks are at a reasonable price and big quantities, even if you get just two appetizers it will be enough. The view to the beach is nice and it s a great place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the breeze 🫶🏻

I am an asian female solo travellers , it is my first time to visit Bulgaria and I come to enjoy the beach in Varna, I come to eat lunch in this bar and sitting at the bar. I did not like the service here I did not feel welcomed, staff never smile, not friendly and big guy from the bar staff ( bar tender) who served me with food at the bar where is was sitting next to him,, he was grumpy ,not friendly, look serious And he was really rude and made me in tear because I asked for tobasco spicy sauce ,which yesterday I eat here and they gave to me but today I come back again and I ask for tobasco spicy sauce again but he refused to give to me and said that he did not have it, and I was not sure why he said that as yesterday I had it and I asked other staff who took my order and he said he had it and will give to me when the food comes , so I explained to this grumpy big man that I had it yesterday and, suddenly he was angry and answer me by shoutting at me so lound and said today he did not have! and walk away from me and left me in shock! I I felt upset and embarrassed with people arounde heard it looked at me as he shouted quite loud and other staffs in the bars look at me , no one seems to care how he made me in tear, and I could not eat much after he treated me this bad And he made me cried! I could not finish my food as I felt upset 😢 ....not need for him to talked to me like that!! Feel really disappointed to come here and he ruin my good time by made me in tears! I would never come back to this place again!

It's a very nice beach. The season is open, you can swim in the sea and hangout comfortably. The prices are very reasonable for a beach. Also, the sun loungers and seans are very comfortable.

Amazing place! The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, well-cooked, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was relaxing, with great music and a beautiful beach view. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I highly recommend this beach club restaurant – I’ll definitely come back!

Great place, cheap enough to get in, the food and drinks very reasonable in comparison to others we have been to, same as outside. All been renovated so newly painted and clean enough. Didn't have to pay for sunbeds which is a massive bonus. Our only complaint which is pretty big is that there's no ramp to get in and the entrance has more stairs than you have ever seen. Couldn't come in a wheelchair, very difficult with a pram. Had to carry all the way up, not easy!

Visited the park on 3rd of September 2019. Even if the weather was superb I was surprised to find it almost empty. Later on I understood why... Overall the park is clean but the admission price is not reflected at all in quality of rides and services. The park was probably nice when opened some years ago but now it is heavily understaffed and parts of it are closed and not maintained. We were surprised when our 7 years kid was charged as adult (35lv) because he was taller than 120 cm. The lazy river is actually a lazy lake because the system that is designed to speed up the water is not working. This is my first visit but also the last. Food and drinks inside are heavily overpriced and no foods or drinks are allowed from outside. Backpacks are checked thoroughly at entrance.

Had a great day here with 5 teenagers and 4 adults. Get there at opening to make the most of it, and use free shuttle buses from hotels. Park was big enough to have plenty to do but small enough that we could find a base and allow everyone freedom to roam. Great pizza in the cafe too. You can't take in food or drink but they do allow water. Plenty of sun beds but we did go on a weekday and not quite high season. Sun cream was available to buy at reasonable cost too

What can I say to justify how special this place is?? It's an absolute gem with insane amounts of talent and creativity. One of the best spots for real Bulgarian culture!! Absolutely worth every ticket price. I haven't seen a show that I didn't love.

The show was very nice, all the kids enjoyed it. The actors were great and obviously enjoy they job. But the organization “ladies” on the gate are extremly rude to parents and the kids as well, and the small kids are scared of them. One women even made my 2 years old kid cry by aggressively dragging from her hands the small chair. 3 mins later she made cry another 2 small kids being just rude to them. This shouldnt happen, they are in kids place, they should know how to behave with kids. And reading the comments, Im not the only one who is raising this concern. The show on August 6th.

Great place to visit. All of the actors and the staff are kind. Really a place where your kids will feel in wonderland. The atmosphere is like you are lost in time and in a magical place. Five stars.

Been there on many occasions and it does need some uplift at some stage. Location wise perfect to have your functions while it has all the disabled access and all so one can be comfortable and not worry about how to get in and out. While most local places in Bulgaria before the booking I would rather check and re-check and have everything in Black and white so if you need more help you know where to find me

Beautiful building in the heart of Varna.Nice small stage where I watched a great show for adults. Small audience capacity, about 120 seats. The show was part of Varna Theater Festival and there was no poster for the show outside to be seen.

Watched Lakoma metsana with my son. He enjoyed it, although the drum was quite loud.

The museum contains puppets from old shows, well preserved puppets; I suggest more space and highlights of each show to show the details of the work. Super humble and cheap entrance

Greek orthodox church nearby the ruins of Roman baths with beautiful garden. Usually you may see a lot of ceremonies of Christian mysteries as baptism occur hear.

We had a nice experience as for the ceremony with very knowledgeable "Otec Yasen", but also may have one suggestion for improving their service at the window, where people buy candles and other products - it needs to be relocated facing the hallways as there are people talking constantly to the lady there with their purchases during the ceremony and making such a noise, that the facility do not provide the privacy needed for the sacred moment of Christianity Ceremony. It's been interrupted with loudly noises - everyone can hear the customers talking to the sales person, but not the priest hosting the holly event. This is very important for people, who choose the church for ceremony.

One of the oldest churches in Varna. Good arrangement of the outside, the ancient Roman baths blend together with the temple great. Because the it is the in the centre of the city and a kind of high class it is overcrowded most of the time. The ceremonies are at strict timeline. The choirs are great, One of the best places to have a wedding and baptism. If you arrive by car be advised that the parking spaces are scarce.

Very well maintained orthodox church, with all the gaudy trinkets and the usual grand iconostasis embellished with golden weavings. The priest seems an ok dude, knows his stuff and is very well spoken. There is a women's choir on the balcony, upstairs - they delivered a pretty tight performance last time I heard them. The unique thing about this church is that it is situated amidst Roman ruins that date back to way before the birth of Christ.

It's a church. It's a beautiful eastern orthodox church from early 1800s built next to Roman ruins. Go visit.

We went here to lose the last of our Lev and ended up coming out hundreds of pounds up 😀😀 We visit casinos for a bit of fun, spend some money and have a good time, and never intend to come home with anything more than the clothes we went in with. However, the machines and the Blackjack all paid out, so thank you for that. Croupiers were ace on the tables, really personable, and some of the nicest I've certainly met. Very straight, but honestly, a lot of casinos could learn a lot from these people. The hostesses that came around were attentive and remembered what we had last time. Again lovely and friendly and so willing to help or listen. You can tell when management have got it right, and they have here. The only negative was from our side the smoking, but this is because we come from a country where there isn't any at the tables. It pretty strong there so expect to smell like an ashtray afterwards

Good business hotel if you need to visit Varna. From the positive: - Phenomenal location in the centre of everything - Well run an accessible parking so you can get in and out with a car - Everything you need in the room, but no more than that - Reasonable pricing - Good dining and meeting options attached to the hotel most notably - The Old Chinar - Good and will run elevators to avoid any wait time between floors - The view from the top floors What can be improved: - The breakfast and the top floor restaurant experience. I had some hygiene related remarks which made me not to use the breakfast. If done properly this would be best in town - No Fitness which is unpleasant, but there are other excellent specialised options around - Low ceilings and just enough space to sleep in the room, which does not encourage to spend more time inside

The new Casino looks amazing . I was very satisfied , only a small touch of attitude was missing in the staff. Maybe this is there way but in my opinion they need to take more action in comforting anyone that comes to play

We were seriously considering going here given our experience at the International. But after reading all of those negative review from foreigners specifically, we decided not to go. It's not okay to treat foreigners who come into the country to spend money like they're dirt underneath your shoes. It's unprofessional and frankly in extremely poor taste. If this is Bulagrian hospitality, I'd rather visit other casinos in other countries. Keep in mind, we decided not to spend money at this casino because of foreigner reviews. So yes, it DOES matter how you treat non-locals.

The parking security guard refused to serve me because I don't speak Bulgarian. He said, I HAVE to know Bulgarian, even if I come to big international hotel.

Horrible out pay on slots. Even if you manage to get a bonus game it never gives you more than 25 % back. No bonus for new players. Everything else is ok but irrelevant to the losses you will accumulate. Find a better Casino to play.

I’ve been to many escape rooms for the last 10years and since i arrived in Varna i was so eager to visit one here. A friend of mine who is from Varna said that this place is the best and should be tried, and just like this I have already visited all of the rooms. I’d like to use just one word but i couldn’t. The puzzles, the atmosphere and the whole vibe of this place is amazing. The staff and especially the blonde girl on the reception were so friendly and open-minded. Had lots of fun, would love to forget all of the rooms so i could experience them for the first time again! Definitely recommended!

This is one of the first opened escape rooms and maybe the best ones in town. The most beautiful & hard one is the Colorblind man' dream, which I recommend if you're experienced. An easier room is the Laboratory which is also a cool one. Room 13 is more spooky and dark. The staff is very kind!

Great place, fun rooms, a great challenge for a group of friends.

The colorblind room was very poorly maintained. A lot of the puzzles didn't make sense. There was no story to the room. The staff doesn't watch you during the game and the only way to communicate with them is through a phone which they don't answer every time you reach out to them. Some stuff were opening on their own. The most disappointing part was that some of the puzzles and things you had to do were illogical. Won't visit their other rooms.

I strongly do not recommend room “Laboratory 2” as it will be complete waste of your time. Three items of this room was defective, which significantly delayed passage. After the quest was fully shown by administrator, they offered 10% off for next quest, which I consider an offensive for the guests. An owner suggested 20% from quest price. Moreover, they didn’t admit their responsibility for huge wastage of time (more than 3 hours). I am sure this place is not worth your time. Be informed and think twice.

A lovely great big statue in the middle of the sea garden symbolizes the communists struggle against the fascists and capitalists,or something similar. No access to the inside. Excellent location. Well worth a visit.

A great monument in the biggest national park in Balcsns. A place with history, where kids can venture with bikes and rollers. It has a lot of activities around and it is generally a place for families or for people who want to have a nice walk.

Interesting place in the middle of the park. Unfortunately the door was closed and there were no explanations to see what is this about. We understood that is a comunist monument because we saw the symbol of the sickle and hammer.

Great place to go swimming. Its also inexpensive and perfect if u are looking to sign up ur kid for swimming lessons. The max depth is about 1.5m which is perfect for beginners.

Just want to warn all foreigners, don't look at this score and comments, it's all misleading. Once you research a bit online, you will find out that this "officers' beach" has the most polluted water from all the beaches in Bulgaria. And I mean the water condition/quality, not the sand or anything else.

A nice quiet beach in September and the water was still warm. A great place to bring a bottle of wine to end the summer. Unfortunately, a lot of seaweed and turbulence stirred the bottom which made for a murky wading experience.

I’ve been visiting this gym for almost 10 years now and unfortunately it’s getting worse and worse. The equipment is old, there is not enough space in peak hours and they stopped providing towels. Not to mention the lack of parking. Wouldn’t step there had it not been for the instructors.

Great gym! Professional and friendly staff, good variety of training classes. Sauna and massage offered too. Easy parking right at the front door. Shopping and dining possibilities around the corner.
