Sights & Landmarks
Old Ribnica River Bridge, located in Podgorica, is a historical landmark with typical Ottoman architecture. It spans the Ribnica river and is situated in the old part of the city. The bridge dates back to Roman times and was restored by the Ottomans in the 18th century. Surrounded by a beautiful park, it offers a serene environment for leisurely walks and relaxation.
The bridge itself is full of history but nothing too special. The highlight is the park surrounding it instead, it's quiet and chill, perfect for a short afternoon walk.
Yuhng Y — Google review
At the end of July, it was a rather sad experience. No water below the bridge. The bridge itself is nothing special. Two stars only because this was still the most beautiful place we could find in Podgorica. Podgorica is definitely not worth visiting.
M B — Google review
Podgorica isn't a place for tourists. They mostly visit Kotor Bay or the coast instead of the capital. At some point I can understand why but Podgorica has something very different that is worth to explore in my opinion, even if you just spend 2 hours in this city. This bridge is such a charming calm place with a waterfall and a little gorge. I can't recommend this place enough, I liked it a lot!
Oliver L — Google review
You should visit and take a bikini or shorts for swimming in the lake. This is an amazing Ottoman work, and right below it you can definitely swim in the lake. There’s also a small, cozy café where you can grab a drink.

Located in a cave on Dajbabe hill, the Dajbabe Monastery is a Serbian Orthodox Christian monastery that was established in 1897. It is part of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The monastery holds religious significance and is known for its unique setting inside a cave, making it an intriguing site to visit. While slightly off the beaten path, it offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere for visitors to explore.
I had the opportunity to visit Dajbabe Monastery and was deeply impressed by this unique spiritual place. Located on a quiet hill near Podgorica, the monastery radiates peace and a strong spiritual presence. What fascinated me the most was the interior of the church, carved into the rock – unusual and almost mystical, which makes this monastery truly stand out compared to others I’ve visited. The monks were kind and welcoming, willing to share the history and significance of the site. The surroundings are serene and full of natural beauty – perfect for prayer, reflection, or simply escaping the noise of everyday life. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking spiritual peace or looking to discover some of Montenegro’s hidden cultural gems. A heartfelt recommendation for every traveler – whether you're a believer, a history enthusiast, or just curious.

To get there you can use the bus, which takes about €1 but longer time or a taxi. The place is nice with an interesting history. It takes very little time to see. The souvenir shop was nice, with many religious stuff. The guy that attended was super super nice! I think is worth the trip of you are into churches.
Adriana A — Google review
We liked this place more than Ostrog monastery. Amazing church in a caves, no people, easy to arrive
Anna S — Google review
Nice place for a quick visit. Free entry. Free decent paved parking lot. There was car glass on the parking lot indicating break ins, so don't leave your important belongings behind in the car. Small but well maintained. Small souvenir shop. Like how they've done it with lighting a candle for only 20 eurocents. Be sure to check out the caves behind the altar in the room. Neatly done.
Koen Z — Google review
Very kind and welcoming people. A must visit place if you come to Podgorica. Just take bus line number 1 or get here by car.

Extremly beautiful monastery, you must visit it! Its free of charge, they have plenty of free parking and what you get its worth the trip!

The Dajbabe Monastery was dedicated to Uspenje Bogorodice or the Assumption of Mary, the monastery was founded in 1897. In the beginning, only the space of the cave was used as a sanctuary, with the plan to be expanded later with chapels. The visible part of the church is situated outside the cave, depicting a spacious entrance porch with two belfries. The Dajbabe Monastery also possesses a reliquary with the relics of St. Simeon Dajbabe.
Dmitriy A — Google review
From Podgorica there are no signs to this monastry whatsoever. You get there with narrow suburban road and there is nothing along the road that indicates an important landmark is nearby. Once there a house among hundreds of olive trees emerges, looking quite modern and uninteresting. Inside however there are impressive catacombs that hide a lot of history. A guy working in a shop was polite enough to give us 15-minute history lesson of the place.

Historical landmark
Sahat Kula, the oldest neighborhood in Podgorica, reflects its 400-year history as the heart of an Ottoman Turkish town. The blocky clock tower, built in the 17th century, stands as a beautiful landmark. Although it is located a bit far from the city center and may not attract many visitors, it offers an interesting stone look and is surrounded by a pretty park.
Beautiful clock tower constructed during 17. Century. It is a bit far from city center and not many people are visiting it.
Tom W — Google review
Cute tower, with a couple of old local cafes next to it. What you see is what you get, however it survived the bombings of the ww2 and is historic, worth checking out if you have a meander through the old town
Alexa M — Google review
Nice old tower but nothing much around here other than that. Located at Old Town
J — Google review
Nice little tower. Cannot go inside though.
Tim H — Google review
The Clock Tower is a nice “must-see” for a short visit in Podgorica if you’re interested in history and a little old-town ambience. I’d rate it 4 out of 5 stars. It does exactly what you want: gives you a historic landmark, a photo opportunity, and a link to the city’s past — but it won’t fill a long afternoon by itself. If I were visiting Podgorica, I’d plan perhaps 20-30 minutes at the tower, then stroll around the surrounding Old Town area, maybe stop for a coffee at a nearby café.
Amrit D — Google review
Pretty spot in old neighbourhood that is becoming trendy with little galleries

Ostrog Orthodox Monastery, dedicated to Saint Basil of Ostrog, is a 17th-century pilgrimage site in Montenegro. It was rebuilt in the 1920s and is visited by pilgrims, religious tourists, and travelers who come to pay homage to the miraculous relics of St. Vasilije of Ostrog. The monastery is perched on a cliff face 900m above the Zeta valley, making it a unique and spiritually significant location for Orthodox Christians.
This is incredible and breathtaking place. While you drive up to the rocks you do t see monastery at all - you will see it as you arrive your destination. This place is so different and sacred and you feel like Holy Ghost is near you, at least I felt very special and unique there don’t know why. This place has something it is magical
Anna D — Google review
I know that everyone is going for a different problems they might face, whether is health or other issues. But the negativity the people are bringing is just not right. We are all there to find out peace. I have to say at the moments I did. I enjoyed my barefoot walking on the stairs from the parking to the monastery. At the monastery as well. But I had to isolate mentally in order to find the peace. The people are yelling and annoyed by everything. Like, all right people, we are all waiting in line for the same purpose, that's why we are there. There is no need to skipping the line and playing smart. Regarding the sleeping, yes it is on the ground and there are a lot, but a lot of blankets enough for everyone. Don't grab it, don't push it. There is no your space or my space for sleeping. It is open for everyone and It is just a corner where you need to calm and huddle and nap, you are not in a hotel there to sleep in luxury and take the whole space. But intolerance was way over the head to many people, even to the guards that are working there which are constantly yelling. It doesn't matter if there are many people or not every day, respect to each other, helping around, navigating and maybe creating some rules might help. Paint some lines for sleeping, where people need to make open space to the toilet or the water, because skipping on the blankets makes them mad. And please oh please clean those toilets. The toilets are so far away, but the container trash is so close that people are practically sleeping in front of them. It is a holy place, I would love to go again, maybe at different period of the year (definitely not summer again)
Martina D — Google review
you are in the area, I definitely recommend a visit. It’s best to go early in the morning, as it gets very crowded later on. There are two parking areas available – one at the base and another higher up for cars. The place itself is beautiful and has a spiritual atmosphere, though it can get quite busy with many visitors.
El B — Google review
Beautiful and authentic monastery. Half an hour is enough to look around. No caffe or restaurant there, probably because it's an active monastery. A shop with icons, crosses and other religions staff as well as some souvenirs is present on site. Road to it is quite slippery due to a lot of stones in asphalt mass - be careful especially if road wet.
Alex S — Google review
Interesting place to visit. Neat how they've perfectly blended in the building into the rocks. Looking at the amount of parking places around here and the waiting line structures at the entrance it can get crazy busy. When we were here end of October nobody was here. If the barrier to the last segment is open, you can just drive through it and park your car right in front of this place for free. Quite a few parking places there. We started by parking at the last official parking lot before the barriers at first, but from there it's still quite a climb to get to this monastery so we turned around and decided to drive all the way up, which was perfectly fine. The views over the valley are nice. Not much to see other than that. You can get inside some rooms of the building, but it's not that interesting. If you don't hold a religious relationship with this place, it's nice for a quick visit, but otherwise, especially when it's busy, I would say skip it.
Koen Z — Google review
A beautiful monastery in the middle of a mountain. The walk up is a big one and i would definitely recommend bringing water and good shoes on a hot day. We waited for about 10 minutes to get into the monastery itself and we had to wear a little piece of clothing to cover our knees. It more than worth it to visit this place!
Marijn P — Google review
A trip to Montenegro should include a visit to this incredible Monastery. Many go as a Pilgrimage, but no matter why you choose to visit, it's can experience not to miss. There are a couple parking lots. The upper lot is the best option, but still requires over 150 steps to climb.
Debbie F — Google review
The place is a must visit regardless of your religious beliefs. For those who believe - it's considered the most sacred place in Montenegro and probably one of the most visited for the pilgrimage in the entire Balkans. For those who not too much in religion - the monastery was built in the vertical cliff high in the mountains in the 17th century. Not the everyday sight, isn't it? The place is well known for the miracles happening there. Those who come there for the pilgrimage walk 3000 steps upstairs barefoot. Those who come just to see can drive up the slope and walk the remaining part from the parking lot along the zigzag road or take the same steps. Cars with disabled persons or small babies can drive up to the top straight to the monastery. The views from the top are stunning and tend to set you to the meditation. Those who believe can enter the small chapel with 17th frescoes and approach the remains of Saint Basil of Ostrog, pray, get the blessing, it's a very peaceful and blessing place.

Gorica Park, located just a short distance from downtown Podgorica and next to the stadium, is often referred to as the Central Park of the city. The park offers walking and biking paths, along with several trails for visitors to explore. Additionally, it features an adventure park complete with rope courses, a children's play area, and a cozy coffee shop. For those who venture to the top of the hill within the park, they are rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the city.
Gorica Park and its Adventure Park in Podgorica offer the perfect mix of relaxation and excitement. Nestled in lush greenery, this urban oasis is ideal for a leisurely stroll or a day of outdoor fun. The adventure park, with its zip lines, climbing routes, and obstacle courses, provides a thrilling experience for both kids and adults. Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself or simply enjoy the serenity of nature, Gorica Park has something for everyone. A fantastic escape in the heart of the city!

Such an excellent forest park, walking distance from the city. Paved and rocky paths, adventure-style setup too. And a climbing wall ! No vehicles inside the park itself. Cool on a hot day, high enough a hill to get good breezes. And cool in the other sense in any weather ...
Christopher M — Google review
Wonderful place to take a long walk or run. It is on a hill and when the weather is nice, it's a nice activity for couples, friends or families. There is a cafe, that is nice to take a break. There are nice views from Gorica. I've been a few times and it is one of m favorite places of Podgorica.
Denise R — Google review
The best part of this city is Gorica Park. An absolutely beautiful oasis in the centre of the city. Full of paved trails, there are also hiking paths through the brush. At the highest point the views are amazing. There is an outdoor gym and a football field on top. Two cafe's, one at the entrance and the other about 1/3 the way up the hill. See native Hermann tortoises, plant species, beautiful big shade trees and lots of people out exercising. What an absolutely treasure this space is for the city, I hope they keep maintaining it as well as they currently are.
Carol D — Google review
Beautiful park, from the top you can enjoy a wonderful view.
Jomin N — Google review
We liked this big park on the hill in downtown Podgorica. The hill's name is Gorica and the city founded under that hill got its name Podgorica, which literally means 'Under the hill'. The park is located right on this relatively low hill (its height is about 130 meters) that combined with the rich evergreen vegetation creates a unique microclimate shading you in the hot summer and protecting from cold winds in winter. There's a great adventure park for kids over 4 years old. In October 2025 it still worked (7 Euro for a 4 year old), but some paths already looked worn out. It's still safe but needs attention. The path for adults looks abandoned and you can see only some remains of it. But the working paths are still good and kids love it. There's also a small playground and several cafes around. The park was planted with trees in the 20th century (before it had been just a grass hill), so there's a variety of trees including nice pines. By the entrance there's a beautiful St.George's church that is also worth visiting.
Artemiy K — Google review
Lovely city park with workout areas and multiple panorama viewpoints. Great on the morning or at sunset.
Kris P — Google review
Walking, running, cycling, dog strolls, have a drink and watch your kids play around with all the provided facilities they offer. Shaded place by the big trees covering all the place from the sun. A lot of activities for the children to play around and there are people watching them. There are some nice monuments around as well!

Bodies of Water
Vodopad Nijagara, also known as Niagara Falls in Podgorica, is a stunning natural attraction located on the Cijevna River. Its close proximity to a vast and lush plain enhances its beauty, making it a picturesque sight for visitors. The waterfall is quite powerful, contrasting with the calm and tranquil river leading up to it. It's advisable to wear sturdy walking shoes if you plan to explore the rocky areas near the falls.
We went when it was too hot, so there was no water 'fall', but the water was beautiful. Bright blue and very clear, you could see the bottom where it was shallow. The color of the water was even better than some of the Montenegrin beaches. Lots of people were swimming in the water. There is a restaurant nearby. I loved this place.
Farsana S — Google review
It is a lovely place. In May and April, you will see a waterfall, but in the summer, you can swim there. The food is super, but we waited about 40 minutes. Some of the waiters do not speak Montenegro/Serbian languages, only bad English. The great thing is that the restaurant is pet-friendly.
Srdjan K — Google review
Very nice waterfall unlike the restaurant next to it(minus 5⭐). You can go admire the waterfall as much as you feel like, there were moments when there were no other people, most of them take 1 or 2 photos and go. We went there on 07.11 and the stream was very powerfull. The contrast between the calm water before the fall and the force of the water after that is magical, also the color of the water is very beautiful green. If you are hoping to eat better bring your own food because the waiters are very lazy and won't come to you even if you wait 20 minutes not even to bring a menu. If you sit on table and eat your own food they will not even bother you I guess. That is the reason I am not sure if it worth it if you have to divert from your main path more than 15 minutes as there are nk hiking options or other activities.
Жоро Б — Google review
Not much water falling down on Sunday October 19th. Still worth a quick stop if in the area. This marker leads to a rundown viewpoint of the artificial falls from above. Few parking spots along the road. If you walk a little to the left when standing on the viewpoint facing the falls, for only like 25 meters, there is a very well hidden and overgrown stairwell going down to the falls. It leads you straight to the falls to take a close by picture. No need to go to or through the restaurant. No railings, no paths, no safety measures whatsoever down there, so be cautious. Free parking, free entry.
Koen Z — Google review
What a gorgeous swimming hole and perfect place to cool down on a hot day. With the restaurant right next door for a beer, you can’t ask for much more. One tip, enter and exit from the north-east direction (if you’re on the north side of the river). If you use the road heading south-west, the potholes are awful. Also, Google’s questions don’t make much sense. There are no tickets, so you don’t need to buy them in advance. We got parking on the road above the river, but the restaurant has a parking lot too. On a hot Tuesday afternoon in mid June it wasn’t super busy. I imagine it must get packed out on the weekend.
Ruth D — Google review
A hidden gem just outside Podgorica! The waterfall may not be huge, but the setting is beautiful—especially in spring when the water flow is strong. we visited the place in early June, It’s a peaceful spot to relax, take photos, and enjoy the sound of the river. Super easy to reach by car, and there’s even a nice restaurant right by the falls where you can have fresh trout with a great view. All Food is halal. Special thanks to waiter Karam a very nice Turkish man who took a very good care of us. Don’t expect anything wild or touristy—just a calm, natural escape close to the city. Worth a quick stop if you're in Podgorica.
Haytham A — Google review
Wow what a place, a must visit if you are on kotor, ten minutes drive from the centre, parking is hot and miss, so park at Nijagara restaurant, through the arch on the left. Plenty of places to swim in clear cool water, or just sit on the rocks with your feet in, toilets are in the restaurant which is very cheap for snacks, perfect day with a quiet hint of music from the restaurants outdoor speakers.
Daniel W — Google review
Impressive during winter time. So much water! It is not easy to find, as there are no signs along the road and not even a proper parking lot. The best parking is at the Niagara Restaurant, which is built right next to the waterfall. The viewing platform and the stairs that lead down to the rocks have definitely seen better times. A lot of litter around. The waterfall is definitely worth a stop. Be careful, as the rocks are difficult to walk on, and the currents are strong. P.S. we went there again on 21 July 2025, and there was not one drop of water. The riverbed was completely dry. It was clearly visible that the waterfall itself is an artificial structure (by the owners of the restaurant maybe?) and not a natural wonder.

Nestled at the base of Gorica Hill, The Church of St. George is a historic gem, believed to have been constructed between the 4th and 6th centuries. This Orthodox church boasts an elegant Early Christian architectural style and houses original guildwork, frescoes, and intricate iconography. An old church of beauty with a warm and cozy feeling inside. There are many lovely icons.

Wow, got given the evil eye so hard by a church employee I turned around a left. Never seen anything like that in a church in my life. Not even close. Was on my way home from the park and I happened to see the church. Thought it looked worth visiting, certainly not with the staff there. I had just entered the courtyard, wasn't even 30 ft to the door when this lady was giving me a death stare like "what do you think your doing here". The gate was open of course. What a ugly blemish on an otherwise perfect day of interacting with the locals. Looked like a great church and I'm sure this one employee does not represent the attitude of the whole staff. That being said, the situation was so disgusting that I feel like bringing attention to it. I've been churchs, mosques, temples, all over the world and never seem anything even close to this.

The Natural History Museum of Montenegro is a modest yet captivating attraction that showcases a diverse range of natural history displays, including native flora, insects, fossils, and wildlife. Despite its size, this museum offers free admission and provides an enriching experience for all who visit.
This place was great, it's only small but it's also only 2 euros so it's definitely worth stopping by. We had a great time.

Difficult to locate museum. Little to nothing inside. The presentation of the very few items was poorly executed. On Saturday we had luck at 12:30. It was open till 2 p.m. without lunch break (13:00-13:30). It is a smaller museum, such an exposition of minerals, snakes, amphibians, butterflies, beetles, insects, birds and fish. The accompanying exhibition there was the history of tea, its cultivation and processing of varieties. The descriptions of the exhibits are only in the Cyrillic of the Montenegrin language... It was a good thing that I learned to read texts in azbuka during my elementary school. I have a recommendation to the museum: English descriptions for foreign tourists would also be great.

Interesting museum, definitely worth seeing with family. Kids were jumping all over the place all the time. Not to much things to see that one could expect, but still was interesting to see what animals can be seen in Montenegro

Great museum, small but only costs 2€.Right now there is an exhibition about bees. There is no English text. There also was a little quiz to test your knowledge.

A quite small museum, but it costs only 2 Euro for adults to enter. They are closed for 30 min around 1 pm. No info in English except one sign where it says that it is forbidden to touch the glass in order to disturb the snakes :)

The stuffed animals in the photos are removed from the exhibition. There is only the spices exhibition which is not worth visiting. Entrance fee is 1€.

The Millennium Bridge, a modern cable-stayed bridge stretching 173 meters over the Morača River, stands as an iconic symbol of Podgorica's progressive spirit. Its contemporary architecture contrasts with the historic Clock Tower and remnants of the Ottoman Stara Varoš settlement, showcasing the city's multicultural heritage. Additionally, the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ reflects Podgorica's religious and cultural revival.
The Millennium Bridge in Podgorica is a modern, elegant crossing. Great for a stroll and city views.
Yossi E — Google review
The Millennium Bridge is one of Podgorica’s most iconic landmarks. Its modern design is sleek and impressive, especially when lit up at night. The views from the bridge, overlooking the Morača River, are quite picturesque and make for a nice walk or photo spot. It’s a simple but striking piece of architecture that adds character to the city. The area around the bridge is well-maintained, though it can get busy with foot traffic during peak times. Overall, it’s a great spot to visit for both locals and tourists.
Enoch O — Google review
Probably the most famous landmark in Podgorica. Cool modern design and great views over the Morača River. It’s not a place where you spend a lot of time, but it’s nice to walk across, take a few pics, and enjoy the scenery—especially around sunset. If you’re in town, it’s worth checking out.
Haytham A — Google review
Great place to stop by if you’re walking around Podgorica. The view of the bridge is awesome—especially with the mountains in the background and the river below. There’s a little riverside café tucked under the trees that’s super chill, with outdoor seating right by the water. Nice for a drink or just to sit and enjoy the scenery. It’s quiet, not too touristy, and feels a bit hidden away. Definitely worth checking out if you’re nearby.

Nice modern bridge, underneath there’s a walk way along the beautiful river

It can be nice spot if you like to take photos of architecture or traffic. I like it mire during the day but didn’t have time to take photo. Sharing night one. Also interesting.

The Millennium Bridge is a cool, modern landmark right in the same area as the Vladimir Vysotsky Monument. It’s got a sleek design and offers a great view over the river and surrounding park. It’s especially nice to walk across around sunset or just sit nearby and enjoy the atmosphere. The whole area feels open and relaxing, with a nice mix of nature and urban scenery. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the neighborhood.

When visiting the charming town of Virpazar, be sure to include a stop at Vinarija Mašanović. This family-owned winery offers an exceptional experience for wine enthusiasts and novices alike. The warm hospitality and genuine passion for winemaking are evident from the moment you arrive. The 14th generation winemaker hosts engaging wine tastings, sharing insights into the winery's history and the art of winemaking.
What an excellent wine tasting. Great value for money, great company, great food. The person who hosted the tasting was amazing - friendly, kind and also very knowledgeable. They accommodated us as well because we are vegetarian. And the goats cheese we were served was the best I’ve ever had. Could not recommend the wine tasting more!

Incredible experience. The owner was with us the whole time explaining the history of the winery! We had the best time! Very intermit setting. Only 3 tables at a time. Make sure you book! They have no sulphates in their wine which is big bonus! The best time tasting I have been to! They was unlimited food and wine which I have never experienced before! We had the €25 pp wine and food experience!

What an amazing experience! It was the perfect combination of great wine, delicious home made food and lovely hosting. Highly recommend everyone who's coming to the area. Make sure you make a reservation because they can only accommodate few tables a night which makes the experience much more private and relaxed in the best possible way. We absolutely loved it and left with 3 bottles of wine to take home with us. Thanks for a perfect evening!

Great wine tasting experience at a small, family run winery. Very generous tastings and excellent food. Amazing platter of cheese, charcuterie, nuts, dried fruit, fish and vegetables. The family were really friendly and it was great to spend time with them and learn about the wine, the business and about Montenegro.

If you’re planning on tasting wine in Montenegro, make sure winery Masonovic is on your list. They were extremely generous with their time, information, snacks and, most importantly, their wine. Great value for such quality wines and an unforgettable experience. Make sure you book in advance so you don’t miss out.

An amazing experience at this vineyard. 14 generations of winemaking in one family was certainly reflected in the quality of the wine and the food we tasted over the 2 hours we spent there. We booked in advance and received tastings of 3 wines, and their 15 year old vognac. Plus family reared prosciutto, cheeses, bread, figs and walnuts. The later pairing so well with their dessert wine we sampled. Montenegrin hospitality at its best!
Am B — Google review
Everyone who visits Montenegro must go and do a wine tasting with this family run winery. The hosts are a brother-sister duo and you really feel like you are guests in their home. The wine is splendid and so is the platter served with it. They are very generous with their servings and sweet in general. We learned so much and had a great time. They can also arrange pick up and drop off to your hotel at a much reasonable price than local agenicies.
Nisha P — Google review
The wine tasting we had was very special- nothing like any wine tastings we have ever had before. Mitar was extremely funny, passionate and knowledgable. My partner & I were absolutely stuffed by the end of it- a very generous portion of food! The wines we had were exceptional and plenty! Service was amazing and we learned so much about Montenegro wines. A personal and authentic wine tasting- the perfect evening after exploring the lake.

The Ancient Doclea Ruins, also known as Duklja, are the remains of a Roman town located just 5km outside of Podgorica. The site is being considered for UNESCO World Heritage status and offers free entry to visitors. Despite its quiet and somewhat abandoned atmosphere, the ruins boast well-preserved structures such as temples, market squares, thermae, and Roman houses. Informational signs in Serbian and English provide insight into the historical significance of the area.
The Ancient Doclea Ruins near Podgorica are a fascinating glimpse into Montenegro’s Roman past. With well-preserved remains of temples, streets, and baths, this archaeological site is perfect for history buffs and explorers. A peaceful and awe-inspiring spot to step back in time!

Ok take this place for what it is: a relatively poorly protected Roman ruin. If you keep that in mind you will have a lovely day imagining yourself as a Roman. There is the formal side and then across the street a real treat bc you can clamber past ruins to sit on the bank of the Moraca. Lovely when the weather is nice!
Shelbie L — Google review
This was a little bit underwhelming since I hiked from Podgorica to get here. Ruins are ruins though and if you are interested in historical wanderings, this was most interesting nearby
Ina S — Google review
Nice historical area on the countryside, only 10 min from the city center if you take the local bus L20 (90 cent). It only takes 30-45 minutes, so you can use the same ticket to go back. Mostly grass and some stones. At the north side, there are some information signs, no sign on the south side where you also can walk closer to the river. Two barking dogs at the smaller buildings there :)
Sava I — Google review
If you are interested in history you should come here. The place is in the very quiet area, but the road is fine. We walked here by feet. Entrance is free of charge. There is a gates, but they were opened. The place was totally empty and quite abandoned. The grass was too high and big part of ruins were deep in the grass. There are signs with information in Serbian and English. We liked this place, cause there we found a lot of interesting parts of buildings and colomns. But it would be super nice if municipality of Podgorica took some care of this place.

Here they are, just waiting for people to visit. They are a little walk out of town but well worth the effort. Extensive area of ruins, some enclosed by a fence but said to be open 24 hours a day. Free entrance and there's a car park area. Wander to your heart's delight. There's a real sense of history here.
Lewis M — Google review
We almost didn’t go into the gated area because we thought it was closed - double check if the gate is actually locked! Great place for some quick sightseeing - always blows my mind at how widespread the Roman’s were able to spread their influence.

I tried to buy tickets for the tonight’s performance several days ago. Even if you see all credit cards signs, you cannot buy tickets online. You can an only reserve it for 24 h. I done this and tried calling the number on their website 5 times, the line was constantly busy. I emailed them immediately also. As I wasn’t feeling well, I didn’t get a chance to go and pay for the tickets with these 24h. I logged into my account with them and my reservation was still there. But, when I went to pick them up I was told they sold them already. I explained that I was looking for the option to pay immediately and the person there told me this doesn’t work. Then I told her that I tried calling the number on their website- but that one doesn’t work either, she said. That number was written also there, where I went today to pick up tickets. Then I told her that I emailed also and had no reply- no explanation for this. This is the most useless service I come across in my life. In today’s time we are unable to pay for tickets online, non working number is advertised on their website and in the theatre and no communication via email either. I asked why the tickets are then showing as still reserved on my account- no explanation for this either. It seems this theatre is run by people who have no clue how to do business and what good customer service is.I never came across so many mistakes in my life and lack of care for their customers. I remember in September their website wasn’t up to date regarding their performances and I emailed them. I had their reply after ONE month! Speechless.

Independence Square, located in the heart of downtown Podgorica, Montenegro, is a popular destination for tourists. The government quarter surrounds the square, featuring the city hall and the Parliament of Montenegro. Opposite these buildings stands the Palace of King Nikola, which houses the Center for Contemporary Art showcasing significant works by Montenegrin artists and sculptors. The square comes to life at night with children playing and businesses staying open late.
We visited in the evening to avoid the daytime heat. The atmosphere was fantastic, with restaurants all around and people playing music and putting on small shows. It’s the perfect place to spend a pleasant evening.

Podgorica isn't a place for tourists. They mostly visit Kotor Bay or the coast instead of the capital. At some point I can understand why but Podgorica has something very different that is worth to explore in my opinion, even if you just spend 2 hours in this city. But I can't believe that this is supposed to be the glorious city centre. This place looks horrible and you can't find anything photogenic. In my opinion it's a shame to present a place like this to the public in the capital city of a country.

Good Cinema but you have no idea how to run it. You have to wait nearly 30 minutes to buy a ticket. Two peoeple, sometimes just one, selling tickets and popcorn at the same time and this takes for ever. many 12 years old, maybe younger have been in the alien movie and Deadpool Volverin and talking like there are at home all the time. (Translated by Google) The playroom as a playroom is ok. A bit overcrowded and it is impossible to see off every child when there are so many. But the aunt (black short hair) who works there is absolutely not for working with children. Always rude, never smiling. Brash, impudent, while female colleagues are the opposite, wonderful. If he does not have the capacity and mood to supervise 3, 4, 5 year old children who are playing, then he should seriously consider whether he is up for the job. Ukoliko nema kapacitet i raspolozenje da nadgleda djecu od 3,4,5 godina koja se igraju onda ozbiljno treba da razmisli da li je za taj posao.

(Translated by Google) Terrible service. For the first time, we were given the go-ahead to leave the child and go shopping, even though our son is already independent. And the second time a very rude woman said to be only next to the baby, that she would not look and would open the doors. I was rude (Original) Ужасное обслуживание .

(Translated by Google) Excellent gamer. After moving from Bazar to Citi Mall, it became significantly smaller in area, but more interesting in content. Excellent for children 3-5 years old; older ones will not be interested. Price 2.5 euros per hour. (Original) Отличная играоница.
