Villa Kérylos is a stunning replica of a classical Greek villa from the early 1900s, boasting antique-filled interiors and breathtaking views of Cap Ferrat. This historical gem is located in an area rich with cultural and historic landmarks, including the Chapel of Saint Hospice and the renowned museum and gardens Ephrussi de Rothschild.
Historical villa with distinct Greek and Egyptian design themes. Very good listening tour. Easy to get to via bus.

I was absolutely amazed by this villa — I didn’t even have enough time to take everything in. There’s so much to see, every detail catches your eye. Everything is done with such taste, and it’s a timeless design — you could easily live in these interiors even today. I truly enjoyed my visit.

Amazing experience! The visitor is submerged into a fantasy of living like a Greek god, but with contemporary to the 20th century comforts. Allover very fine and stylish neogreek interior is decorated with the real museum collection of antiques. The views from every window are very picturesque and poetic. Beautiful heritage of a famous archaeologist Theodore Reinach is now accessible for any curious and enthusiastic visitor.
Petite P — Google review
A stunning villa with incredible architecture and attention to detail. The interiors and the seaside location make it a truly unique experience. Definitely worth the visit.
Andrea B — Google review
As someone who already visited Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, I wasn't blown away. It is beautiful, however, I don't think I would come again. The price is maybe too high.
Isidora A — Google review
Lovely Greek oasis on the French Riviera, really nice decorations, interesting idea behind it, spectacular views from its windows, quiet and unique. I truly recommend! Beaulieu-sur-mer is a gem!

Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is an elegant early 20th-century villa featuring nine distinct gardens that offer stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. Situated in Cap Ferrat, it holds significant historical and cultural landmarks such as the Chapel of Saint Hospice and Villa La Fiorentina.
Absolutely magical! It’s every bit as beautiful as on pictures or even better. Wonderful place for a little morning-afternoon stroll - breathtaking views, beautiful gardens, tons of history and culture all in one place. We also visited the restaurant they have their and the food was also lovely (though nothing spectacular taste-wise).
Viktoria K — Google review
This was the highlight of our entire trip, take a short bus ride from Beaulieu Sur Mer, it's worth loading Lignes Dazur as this can be used on both bus and trams in the area. Entry is up hill so I recommend comfortable shoes and clothing as there is quite a lot of walking to appreciate the villa and garden in full. Entry fee is 13 Euros per adult which is very reasonable considering there is no time limit and you can stroll round and appreciate the beautiful interior and exterior. They offer a guide device in several different languages, they do require a identification for these to be provided but it is very informative and provides detailed guides throughout each area which is numbered to ensure you are able to take in the history. Upstairs there is a short film about Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild. The gardens are beautiful, each have different themes and a wide range of unique plants, flowers, statues and photo perfect views.
Rebekah L — Google review
It's location for a luxury villa cannot be battered. You have stunning views of two bays from this elevated position a hundred or so feet above the sea. The villa is beautifully built and well maintained with interesting gardens which are beautiful with huge numbers of plants, water features and colourful flowers. Even though the villa was only built in 1912 it feels due to the workmanship, especially the masonry carvings that it was built a hundred or so years earlier. It's not a particularly large residence (unlike Waddesdon Manor in England). This I understand was their 'winter residence' which I could quite happily live in! The sun is out, not a cloud in the sky, no breeze. It is truly a magical place
Jonathan B — Google review
Beautiful gardens with a stunning villa. Very tranquil settings for various style gardens offering plenty of shade. Inside the villa the rooms are carefully displayed with lovely paintings and antique furniture. A must to visit , highly recommended.
David J — Google review
An absolutely stunning villa—perfectly designed, full of emotions and history. Every detail, from the elegant interiors to the breathtaking gardens, is flawless. A true gem of the Riviera and an unforgettable experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Miruna P — Google review
Absolutely stunning. Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is one of the most beautiful and memorable places to visit on the French Riviera. If you’re anywhere near Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, make the time to go. The villa was built in the early 1900s by Baroness Béatrice de Rothschild. It’s filled with antiques, artwork, and rare porcelain, but the real highlight is outside. The gardens are on another level. There are nine of them, each with a different theme. The French garden has a beautiful fountains. The gardens are serene and beautifully designed. Every turn feels like a new discovery. What makes it even more special is the view. On one side, you see the Bay of Villefranche. On the other, the Bay of Beaulieu. You feel surrounded by water and sky, with the gardens stretching out in front of you. The villa itself is very well preserved. You get a strong sense of the baroness’s personality and taste. The audio guide is included with admission and adds just the right amount of detail without feeling too long. Plan to spend at least an hour and a half here. There’s also a café if you want to stop for a drink or a light bite. If you’re driving, try to arrive early since parking is limited. You can also get here easily by bus or taxi from nearby towns like Nice or Monaco. Whether you’re into history, architecture, gardens, or just beautiful places, this is worth every minute.
Joe B — Google review
This beautiful belle epoch villa belonged to the Rothschild family. The villa is still originally furnished. The second highlight besides the villa are the gardens: nine separate gardens focus on roses, cacti, japanese plants, or succulents. There is a tearoom and a restaurant on site. Stunning views of the coast.
Beat S — Google review
another gorgeous location - vast, lush gardens you can get lost in, absolutely stunning views and the villa itself is a testament to the endurance of luxury architecture and the human need for pleasure. moderately busy during midday/afternoon, but absolutely not a problem.

Outdoor Activities
Plage des Marinieres is a popular narrow beach in Villefranche-sur-Mer, offering calm and clear waters along with scenic views. It's the main sandy beach in the area and easily accessible by train, making it a favorite spot for tourists and locals alike. While the beach can get crowded, especially towards the western end, those seeking a more tranquil experience can head to the eastern side. The availability of parking nearby makes it convenient for visitors.
Came here in March. It was not busy as nit summer but good weather. Beach is sandy in most parts. Has toilets dotted across the beach. Clear blue waters. Beautiful
Joshua S — Google review
A beautiful sandy beach open for the public. The train station is immediately above the beach so there is a good and fast public transport to the location. There are also quite a few bars, restaurants and beach bars around, though there is not a market place in sight. We went there in the afternoon and the water was very dirty, maybe it was due to the sea currents, not sure.
Daniel — Google review
Quiet beach compared to the main sand strip in the area. Self cleaning toilet close by, two showers and huge parking area. Water was clean and calm, very relaxing with few people around.
Larissa V — Google review
Great beach with a mix of sand and pebbles, mostly public and refreshingly free from pushy sunbed vendors. It’s fairly small and can get crowded, but when we visited, there was plenty of space. The crystal-clear water is perfect for snorkeling - just watch out, as I did get nipped by a fish!
Robert B — Google review
Clear water, sandy beach. Some buffet around to take drinks and food. You can rent paddle to enjoy Villefranche. Perfect location in SoF
Berkay A — Google review
Heaven on earth! What i personally loved was that the beach is little small pepples and not sand, some may not like this but it was a life saver as we went for a walk around the town after having a beach day and we wernt covered in sand, the small pepples washed off so easily and they are not uncomfortable, we sunbathed and were swimming in the water every 15-20 minutes. The water is as clear as glass and so warm! Lots if little fish around it is perfect for snorkelling! Will definately visit again!
Gemma M — Google review
A calm and peaceful beach, perfect for relaxing or a quiet swim. The area is clean and well maintained, with paid parking and toilets available nearby. Just be mindful of jellyfish (méduses) at certain times of the year. Overall, a lovely spot to unwind by the sea.

Chapelle Saint-Pierre "Cocteau" is a historical site in Villefranche-sur-Mer, built between 1554 and 1559 to defend the gulf. The exterior of the chapel blends seamlessly with the town's aesthetic, painted in warm tones and adorned with sea-themed decorations. However, its interior is where the true marvel lies.
Very special place, especially with kids, they loved it, very entertaining, although a bit pricy. Go there during the morning for quicker access.
Paul R — Google review
Unusual small chapel with masterly cocteau chalk drawings. It requires only a quick visit in what can be cramped surrounds if there is a group there at the same time. Why though, why, this strange obsession to prohibit taking photos?
Tony B — Google review
The worst welcome in the world. This is not a Chapel as the prison guard TOLD us. Ita galerie whit a fee to enter. Not worth it. Go else where.
Irene L — Google review
Very nice place to walk and visit while visiting the Dock. Some really colourful exhibitions and a good stroll up a hill and to the Fort. A meeting point for excursions to Monaco 🇲🇨 and Nice before going back to a boat. They're is a figurine museum, an art museum and a historical museum from the era of the second world War. There were also public toilet at the top of the hill. Also some public turrets to look out from to see the view of the sea.

Casino de Beaulieu is a small yet charming casino located in the upscale town of Beaulieu-sur-Mer on the Cote d'Azur. The area offers a luxurious experience with its high-end shops, quality hotels, and international restaurants that cater to a discerning clientele. Visitors can also immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the Nuits Guitares and Beaulieu Classic Festivals.
Beautiful interior, excellent atmosphere, and a genuinely kind and helpful staff. It’s also much less crowded than the casino in Monte Carlo, which makes the experience more relaxed and enjoyable. I always try to stop by at least once whenever I’m in the area. If only my luck had been a little better here—it would absolutely be my go-to spot every time!
C B — Google review
Very enjoyable evening from the check-in to the gaming (Black Jack). Friendly staff, affordable drinks, and nice enough to let my wife sit at the table while she learned and I played.
Mark C — Google review
This casino was the worst i have ever seen. As a tourist, nobody are willing to help you. Some staff can not speak English. Really bad experience and never recommend anyone
S K — Google review
Arbitrarily turned away for ‘dress code’ despite being dressed in a similar fashion to those inside. Not an easy place to get to so an expensive waste of time.
Euan M — Google review
Went to Sky Beach for Dia de los muertos, music was crazy good, but they were out of Spritz and the volume was just too low. Too bad
Tommaso P — Google review
Sky Beach - elitist and arrogant. Beaulieu is a beautiful spot on the French Riviera - nestled in between Nice and Monaco - with lots of chic style but still retaining the quaintness of a smaller village This is our third visit here and we decided to treat ourselves to a night out at Sky Beach, part of the Casino. We arrived at about 10pm and it was just getting going, it’s a lovely outdoor setting and the music is funky. I’ve never seen so many bottles of spirits, champagne and rose wine taken to tables with fireworks!! We had a few glasses of rose and vodka and then suddenly a big party of guests arrived and our seats were needed to accommodate them - I kindly offered to move along to the next table but was told that we needed to settle our bill and go - as these tables were for bottles and high spenders. I will never forget the gesture of the manager Lin telling his minion that he needed to get rid of us - sweep to the exit !! Never again will we visit this elitist and arrogant place ... and please sack Lin, he’s a disgrace. He was more than happy to welcome us when we arrived when the club was quiet but couldn’t wait to get rid of us when his high rollers arrived Thank you for your apologetic response, I appreciate it. Trying to be constructive here, it just needed one of team there (and there were many) to explain this to us earlier in the evening when it was quieter or suggest we move to the bar from the ‘bottle’ table. To ask us to settle the bill and leave is not the way to treat any customer. The manager Lin is not a calm person and does not spread calm in his team, I observed him during the evening. He was incredibly disrespectful to us. You will see other similar comments in the reviews. He needs some serious feedback on how to treat customers
Andy G — Google review
Nice spot, the open-air lounge bar is lively (pretty much the only place open late between Nice&Monaco in the summer). Reasonable cocktails, happy dance music, generally classy environment close to the beach.
R D — Google review

Plage des Fourmis is a serene oasis located near glamorous Beaulieu-sur-Mer. The beach offers a mix of shingle and sand, complemented by tall palm trees that add to its elegant aesthetic. Visitors can take leisurely strolls along the beautiful Promenade Maurice Rouvier, which runs along the coastline from the beach to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and back towards Nice. The area also provides opportunities for activities such as sailing, kayaking, swimming, and boat trips.
Really beautiful beach, stunning views of the rest of the coast. Water is very clean and clear, great for swimming! There’s a shallower section with jellyfish netting too for safety! I personally preferred swimming further out not in the netting but the option is great!
Abbie H — Google review
This is a really nice beach with clear water and a great vibe, perfect for relaxing or going for a swim. Just be aware that it can get quite busy, especially in the afternoon or on weekends. If you’re looking for a quieter spot, it’s best to go early in the day. Still, definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
Ruben A — Google review
A small and quiet beach with a great view, with a special place for kids right in front of the lifeguard’s tower.
Alba E — Google review
The water was very dirty — we swam only once and didn’t want to go back in. The beach itself was quite clean and we didn’t notice any bad smell, but the water quality was awful. Don’t recommend it. ✊🏻
Julia T — Google review
A far more tranquil beach compared with the main beach in Nice. Here it's a semi Sandy beach (course sand) which is far nicer than a pebble beach. However, the U.K. Sandy beaches such as Bournemouth are so, so much better.
Jonathan B — Google review
Nice small beach with sand ans nice view. There is plenty of space where you can lay with your personal mat, or by the restaurant and pay 20 eur per day for a sunbed.

During the time we enjoyed a swim in the beautiful blue, warm water, plus returned with a close up view of the Mega Super Yachts anchored off shore. High recommend, good English, was easy to book and good knowledge and communication during tour. Thank you.

My partner and I had the absolute BEST time on the Jet Skis with the Cap Ferrat Watersports team - Our Jet Ski instructor Jordan was amazing, he was fun, attentive, informative and a good laugh, he made the already insane experience even better, and with his hour long tour along the beautiful coast of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Monaco, Eze and even a glimse of Italy created a life long memory for us that was worth every penny. Could not recommend enough, and we will be back for sure!

Located in the heart of Villefranche-sur-Mer, Église Saint-Michel is a charming church with a lovely pink, tan, and white facade that perfectly complements the town's ambiance. The church, built in the 1750s in Baroque style with Italian influences, stands on the site of a former 14th-century sanctuary. Inside, visitors can admire interesting sculptures and paintings amidst its large interior with soaring ceilings.
A bit dark and musty inside, but beautiful. Heard singing during Sunday mass from outside the front which was lovely. Don’t love the bells waking us every morning at 7 am though. Ha.

A lovely and very old church in the centre of Ville Franche. A peaceful place to wander around and admire the history of this place. A window into history.
Michelle B — Google review
A marvelous very old church right in the middle of old town. Still functional so be quiet. A bit dark and chilly inside but the paintings, iconography, statues and plaques, tombs from ancient times, are always amazing. Imagine how long it's been sitting there like that, how many different eyes, difference circumstances out of the front door, have seen just what you're seeing, rubbed it with their hands. Puts you in your place as a human being in this place, at this time, in a long, long line of humans.

Plage Petite Afrique is a stunning beach located on the French Riviera, just a short drive east of Nice. It is backed by a rocky hillside with beautiful villas and lush greenery. This sheltered cove is popular among Beaulieu-sur-Mer residents and offers various facilities including showers, toilets, lifeguard services, and paid parking.
Nice quiet beach, well when I visited in January, beautiful views and an ideal place to relax watching the sea. It was a short train ride from nice, about 10 minutes with the beach being a 10 minute walk from the station. It is well worth a visit if in the area
Rob Y — Google review
The beach was okay overall. It has small pebbles, which can be a bit annoying if you're expecting soft sand. However, the views are absolutely stunning and make up for it! Perfect for those who appreciate a scenic spot to relax
Chev E — Google review
Beautiful small beach with warm water but the water was not as clean as in photos view was great it was calm bit of nudity as well but no restrictions for burkini as it is not sand beach children were not big fan because they couldn’t make their sand castles
Mohamad A — Google review
The view and atmosphere is amazing. Really worth to see the combination of cliffs, trees, and sea. The water is quite warm at the end of June. From distant, it seems a very beautiful sea but it is not. The sea is full of garbage like woods, napkins and it is not definitely crystal blue; it is has a muddy colour. And the smell, there is a nasty smell always. We had a one day holiday so we had to hire a sun-bed, and we think that it is definitely not to worth to spend too much since we could not swim properly only lie down on the sun-beds. I am wondering why this beautiful place is ruined like this it is a shame!

The beach offers a tranquil atmosphere, ideal for sunbathing and relaxation without being crowded. Visitors appreciate its clean blue waters and serene ambiance, making it an excellent spot to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
Very nice beach. Stoney/rocky - you may need some kind of water shoe or sandal. The water seemed to be a bit cooler than the beach at the north end of town (Bain de Noel-Plage des Marinieres) but still a very nice temperature. We also swam at some stoney beaches (unnamed) about a 5 minute walk south of here. Also very nice. (All the pictures below are from these unnamed beaches.)

Much less busy than the main beach, however not sandy so hard on the feet, and check the wind direction. Otherwise it's rather pleasant and well protected with shade from the harbour wall.

I really like this beach, super quiet and beautiful
Omer S — Google review
Long way to go up and down to catch transportation, the beach is clean but rocky.

Place David Niven, also known as Le Cap, has a rich history of hosting stars like David Niven and Gregory Peck. It's now frequented by Russian oligarchs, finance industry titans, Madonna, and Brad Pitt. The famous Villa Leopolda was once on sale here for half a billion dollars. The promenade even has a section named in honor of David Niven.
A gorgeous estate to admire from the outside. I took so many photos but started to feel like a stalker so I put away my phone and kept walking.

Garden
The Jardin de lOlivaie is a must-see destination for those seeking tranquility. This lush garden serves as an idyllic sanctuary with its shaded pathways, aromatic flowers, and peaceful water features. It provides the perfect environment for leisurely picnics or moments of peaceful reflection. Regrettably, pets are not allowed in this serene oasis, likely due to a history of dog owners neglecting to clean up after their animals.
We dod a birthday for kids over here.. it's suiiper place for that!
Pavel S — Google review
It is a great park and it is nice for just a small stroll among the olive trees. I saw a concert that was dedicated to Josephine Baker there and it made me love this park even more.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful quiet place, unfortunately dogs are not allowed. Which I can understand given the behavior of many dog owners who never pick up their droppings. So, everyone toasts. (Original) Bel endroit calme, hélas interdit aux chiens. Ce que je peux comprendre au vu du comportement de beaucoup de maîtres de chiens qui ne ramassent jamais leurs déjections. Ainsi, tout le monde trinque.
