Museum
Specialty Museums
Resurgo Place is a spacious complex in Moncton that houses the Moncton Museum, the Transportation Discovery Centre, and a visitor center. It's an ideal destination for exploring science and the history of Moncton. The museum features interactive exhibits focused on transportation, showcasing Moncton's past as a rail and shipbuilding hub. Visitors can engage in hands-on activities such as testing aircraft in a wind tunnel, building small boats, and learning about gears and pulleys.
There was a bee exhibit on display, a Map of the city with interesting facts showing up on the screen of the taxi-like stroller once it moves over certain spots, a creative room for kids which had painting area and a small play arena, history of transportation, military, media and others in New Brunswick. There were interactive displays to help throw more light on some particular display, friendly staff and clean restrooms. I am glad I went after two years of always driving by it 🙈
Matilda O — Google review
Excellent place to learn about Moncton history. Displays are very informative and staff very knowledgeable to add more to your experience. The interactive displays are fantastic to engage children.
Gerald H — Google review
This is a fabulous museum. The first floor is full of interactive activities and arts and crafts for children. The staff were very friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. A special shout out to guide Sadie who spent time with my kids !
Dolores E — Google review
An informative and fun experience to get to know more about local history. The staff at the front desk and staff throughout the museum were very nice and patient explaining everything to us. Lots of interactive activities too.
André S — Google review
Serge was fantastic — the best museum guide we’ve ever had! You can tell he truly loves what he does. Thank you so much for giving my family and me such an enjoyable experience. Thanks, Sergio, for your engaging talk! Also, many thanks to the reception staff — everyone at the museum was so kind and welcoming.
Alicia O — Google review
First I enjoyed the ground floor part which is more kid oriented but with the right state of mind an adult can have lots of fun, too. The second floor is a classic historical museum with nice objects. I especially liked the china used in railway travel and some of the clothes like for curling and ice hockey. I talked to a staff member and she was really welcoming. The person at the reception was standard, polite but not as warm as the other person. It's always nice when you are warmly welcomed. Am added plus.
Susa B — Google review
Was surprisingly super fun and interesting. Big room with interactive stations on all different transportation methods in NB in history. Very fun for kids. Good for history buffs, lots of old objects and clothing and their description. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Marieve T — Google review
A great museum to visit if you have some extra time. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We started with a tour of the non-denominational place of worship by Sadie who was really engaging and informative. It was a great way to start the visit. Once inside the staff were ever so helpful and approachable. Whenever we had a question, Ahmed (interpreter/docent) would look into finding an answer if he didn’t know it off the top of his head). Upstairs, Ethan introduced himself and let us know he was also available to answer any questions. Overall it took around 1.5-2 hours to visit the museum, but we took our time reading as much as we could. There was even space for younger kids to enjoy. This is a great spot if you’re looking to kill a bit of time and learn something in the process.

Zoo
Outdoor Activities
Nestled just 15 minutes outside Moncton, the Magnetic Hill Zoo is a top attraction in the area. Boasting over 600 indigenous and exotic animals from around 80 different species, this zoo offers an impressive collection of wildlife. From Amur tigers and lions to zebras, Gibbon apes, lemurs, and more, visitors can explore diverse habitats designed for the comfort of the animals.
This is a great little zoo. It had a wide variety of wildlife in nice enclosures. It was the first zoo where we could easily see TWO black Panthers playing and interacting with each other. It was just the right size where you can see everything in a day.
Vincent S — Google review
Zoo located inside the Magnetic Hill area amongst other attractions. It’s a pretty decent size zoo with lots to see for the family. Prices max at $19 for adults up to 59 and then go down in price for seniors and lower age groups. We spent just about 3 hours here and were able to see mostly everything from the lions, tigers to monkeys and lemurs. Animals looked healthy and happy for the most part. On a hot day bring a bottle of water (see further down about the water filling station). Didn’t see any signs about no outside food allowed so bring along some snacks if you like but they do have food and drinks you can purchase. Vending machines also scattered around the park but some seemed to be out of order. Ray’s Tips: Plan to spend 3-4 hours if you want to see everything at a leisurely pace. Remember to stay hydrated on a hot day. Inside the shop that sells Beaver Tails there’s a water bottle fountain next to the bathrooms.
Ray D — Google review
Magnetic Hill Zoo is a fantastic destination for families and visitors of all ages. The variety of animals from Africa, Asia, and North America makes the experience both educational and enjoyable. The grounds are well-organized, and maps provided throughout the zoo make it easy to navigate. Advance ticketing is very convenient, helping to avoid long wait times during busy seasons. Parking is readily available and accessible, adding to the overall ease of visiting. My kids truly enjoyed our visit, especially seeing the animals up close, which made the day even more memorable. The zoo is well-maintained, with clean facilities, friendly staff, and enclosures that show great care for the animals. A highly recommended place for both learning and leisure.
Nort — Google review
This was an excellent zoo trip with a 3 year old! The animals are neat! Wish that the animals who were not there (tiger, red fox, seals) would have a sign up explaining where they are. I wish there were some guides because only at the lion area was a guide talking about them while feeding him. The male lion was roaring in what seemed like pain from arthritis. We appreciated the cart for $8 that allowed us to wheel the toddler around but strollers are allowed too (we just didn't have ours). The park is fun too The beaver tail place was closed The bathrooms were clean and nice The lady at the store closed up early (by 15 min) and when we came out to go to the washroom she refused to let us know and nor was she wanting us to step right back into the zoo to go to the washroom. If your place is supposed to remain open to 5pm, we expect to be able to go in the store until 5pm.
Saman A — Google review
A clean, well-kept zoo with healthy and active animals. The layout is easy to follow, and the enclosures are spacious and well-designed. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Great mix of animals, from local species to exotic ones. Perfect place for families or anyone who enjoys being outdoors. One of the best attractions in Moncton.
Tario S — Google review
I went to the zoo with my brother and his son. It is a great place if you want to get out for a family fun. Halfway through there is a park that your able to sit at and watch the kids play, plus they have bathrooms and a little snack area that you can also buy food and drinks at. The only problem that we ran into is we wanted a cart to push nephew around. But out of all the carts that they had most of them are broken. So we had to pick the best one, it's just a shame. That you pay eight dollars and they can't fix them up. All and all the zoo was a great time we stay until closing.
Brandon D — Google review
We absolutely love the zoo. The grounds were so clean and tidy. The animal s area were neat and tidy and clean and all the animals seemed to be very comfortable and relaxed The only thing I wish they would have had was hoodies to buy in the gift shop. We had an awesome time. Thank you to all the staff

Magnetic Hill Zoo is a fun place to visit with family. There are lots of animals to see, and the zoo is clean and easy to walk around. The animals look well cared for, and there are fun spots for kids to learn and play. It’s a great place to spend a few hours and enjoy nature and wildlife.

Experience the natural wonder of Tidal Bore Viewing in New Brunswick, Canada, where the Petitcodiac River near Moncton and Riverview showcases a unique phenomenon. The surging waters from the Bay of Fundy, home to the world's highest tides, create a mesmerizing display as they rush upriver twice daily during changing tides. For an optimal viewing experience, visit Tidal Bore Park in Downtown Moncton to witness this awe-inspiring event.
Watching the tidal bore was such a cool experience! Seeing the wave roll in with that much power was amazing. It’s wild how nature works like that. The whole vibe water rushing in, people watching in awe made it a very cool experience. Definitely worth checking out if you get the chance!
Adriano — Google review
Cool spot! Bought some green next store and enjoyed it while looking at the river
Kyle P — Google review
The bore itself is highly variable and most days it's not very big, but still it is a unique ocean phenomenon worth checking out. Nice viewing deck right on the river, free parking, near food.
Richard I — Google review
Wow! An insane amount of ice cream, and you can't go wrong with Chapman's ice cream. Reasonably priced for the amount you get. One scoop - The L'il Prince - was almost too much, and if you get the King size, it's 4 scoops. If you like ice cream, you gotta stop here when in Riverview.
Doug B — Google review
An amazing moment to remember. Nice trail to walk along while waiting. Make sure to check the bore website for schedule and arrive early.
Eric — Google review
It was just magical to watch the tide coming in
ARUN K — Google review
Stunning boardwalk views to enjoy the low and high tides. Would recommend this spot to sit and enjoy

Enjoy there and it is your responsibility to play!! I don’t play there however I look for delicious food..you can afford it as simple foods! Any foods that you can pick on one plate and drink as simple. It is good food!
Karen E — Google review
Wasn't a fan of the buffet options. I had the chili and some garlic bread which was very tasty. The macaroni salad was really good too.
Laura — Google review
Came to a concert on June 10 and buffet was closed. Very disappointed to say the least. Website advertising seafood summer, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only to find out the buffet is not open Sundays through Tuesdays. Website is confusing regarding the buffet hours but clearly states this on facebook, which I wouldn’t think to check. The wait for food was long, I ordered a burger which isn’t what I wanted. We were trying to make a night of this by staying at the casino. There were other patrons who were also not happy about the buffet not being open. I’m still unsure where the mussels are as they aren’t advertised on the menu I. The restaurant.
Angela T — Google review
Pat, my lovely wife and I, live not far from this fabulous casino. We first visited this establishment just after the height of COVID back in 2021. Restrictions were still in place. Gambling tables were not open. Buffet was still closed down and attendance was low. Shows were still not taking place. Some time later, Pat and I have been delighted to have attended one of the first showings, since COVID restrictions, in their large stage area (Buddy Holly tribute). Seats were not packed since many people were still playing it safe and staying home. The shows venue and performance was fantastic. We've both enjoyed a few meals in the casino's small restaurant within the casino's main floor area next to the many gambling machines. We have also been to their large buffet area for at least one of each of the afternoons they are open. Each night open there is a different special and selection (repeats every week). We strongly recommend obtaining their membership card, if of age, for meal savings at every visit (cost nothing). Be careful, it's very easy to gain weight at their buffet. So many items to choose from and we've yet to find something we didn't like. Meals are delicious and I always have trouble leaving room for dessert, but I do manage. Even with their desserts, the choices are many. We've learnt that if one needs a dessert without sugar, just ask one of the attendants and they will happily bring an item out from behind their separation wall. This is but another place Pat and I enjoy being able to treat ourselves to once in a while, here in Moncton, NB. Neither of us are big gamblers but we do enjoy meandering through the Gambling area on our way out (buffet is at the far end of the casino floor). Pat and I have brought loved ones to this place more than once and will continue doing so in future, God willing. Since we live so close to this casino, renting a room has never been a consideration but, from what we've seen, we're sure they're well kept. Both of us have enjoyed walking their main hotel corridor which displays past celebrities that have performed and stayed at this fine casino/hotel. We have also driven along their back parking lot to check out the many different campers using their lot for temporary parking. Very nice layout and compassionate of the owners to allow campers with limited parking. My only complaint, during the many times we've eaten at the casinos buffet, has been with their corn in the cob. We love 🌽 but each time, it has been inedible to us. Far too mushy, like they've been soaking in water for hours. Not a huge drawback since there's so much to chose from at their buffet but disappointing. New thus year (2025) is their Wednesday Chinese buffet. Excellent choices to choose from. Both Pat and I found this buffet a delightful addition to their varied buffets on other days.
Tony B — Google review
Myself and my partner could not wait to go see Nazareth we were so excited we got front row centre seats and only living 5 minutes away we thought what the hell let’s also get a room there so we spent 1122.00 and with both of us being off on medical leave we said our last hurrah but when Nazareth came out the crowd rushed the stage the security could not control it and my condition I cannot stand for a long period and really thought I wouldn’t have too given the fact that we paid 833.00 for a seat so lesson learnt we left and went back to our room into the third song disappointed to say the least why pay so much for front row seats when you cannot not only see the concert but enjoy it from your seats that you paid good money for! We will not be back and I am so sorry for the rant but I just don’t get
Andrea L — Google review
We had a great experience at Casino New Brunswick in Moncton! The buffet was excellent — lots of fresh, tasty options and something for everyone. The live band added a fun, upbeat vibe to the evening, and there’s a huge variety of slot machines to choose from, so you’re never bored. The atmosphere was lively but welcoming, and it’s easy to see why this spot is so popular. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
Bev H — Google review
The casino itself is pretty good, kinda confusing at first, slots are all geared to entice maximum bets, irregardless of bet amount, makes you miss the old days of 1,2,3 Pauline, now it's endless.. The all you can eat buffet leaves a lot to be desired, it was very disappointing to say the least, bland, tough, cold...definitely not what I'd be eating at a casino buffet...I've been to many casinos over the years, the food here ranked ....well, it's more polite not to rank it at all..
Al M — Google review
Great room, casino was fun, actually won some money. Enjoyed sitting at the bar with other guests watching the Blue Jays win. The hot tub and pool were very relaxing.

Irishtown Nature Park, situated at the northern edge of Moncton, is a sprawling 2,200-acre urban park that boasts diverse landscapes including forests, marshlands, and a picturesque lake. The park offers various activities such as hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and kayaking on the lake. Accessible trails cater to strollers and wheelchairs while providing ample options for walking and hiking.
Went for a quick night hike, we'll maintained path, large free parking, you'll enjoy the sound of a river and a small waterfall, picnic space with seats noted, will go back day time for a longer exploration.
Charif H — Google review
A beautiful and well maintained park on the edge of Moncton. Well used by joggers, bikers, and dog walking. Cool and forested on a hot day and enjoyable with a minimal of bug spray. Facilities along the trail for use and a large clean washroom in the parking lot. Lots of parking and friendly encounters along the trail. No costs involved, just a free nature good time. Well worth a visit. Please pick up after your pet if you bring him or her along for a visit.
Bob W — Google review
23 June 2024 The MAIN trails are beautiful. Clean, well marked to easily locate where you are or intent to go. The trails are wide, level/even terrain with a nice ground material, for great footing. Along the trails are some nice bridges, benches, and porta poties and singage. The side trails are a totally different beast. I was taken by surprise by how poorly marked and maintained these trails were. I've seen a lot of trails and some of the side trails I wouldn't consider a public trail but rarher a direction through the the woods o get through to a trail. Above all, it was a very enjoyable trail.
Jason P — Google review
Oh this is a magnificent park, with easy and long enough trails for everyone and beautiful views. All the trails I have been on this park are mostly flat, which makes it easy for those with certain conditions. And all of them offer beautiful forest settings, completely natural surroundings and quiet time. The park gets you far enough from traffic noise (in contrast to Centennial park which is beautiful but some parts have too much noise during the day because there's construction going on in the back and there's a highway there too). This is a beautiful place to go and relax, and enjoy nature. I recommend it in the fall (October, photos are from October 10), the colors are STUNNING.
Sam F — Google review
Love this beautiful trail, you could spend a full 8hrs or more on all the trails. There are so many and it is well maintained. Plenty of look out points and beautiful things to see. Bring your walking shoes a camera and something to feed the ducks. So happy this place is just a small drive away in the city. Can not wait to go back and try more trails and see the new bridge when it is done.
Cristina T — Google review
We took the whole family for an afternoon walk. Beautiful scenic trails. Cute little critters and tons to keep even my Youtube adicted kids distracted for a few hours. I love the lake and the small creeks with the sturdy bridges. There are markers on the trail and clear maps to follow if you get lost. Lots of benches for resting and even bathrooms here and there. It's mostly clean and very well taken care of.
Benoit B — Google review
Such a beauty of a spot. Perfect for long walks in and around the forest, serenity! The water ways are beautiful too. Many places to sit and soak in the sunshine. Also has covered areas perfect for photography in the rain. I love this park

Sky Zone Trampoline Park is an indoor trampoline park chain that offers a variety of activities such as freestyle bouncing, dodgeball, and fitness programs. The park ensures both fun and safety for visitors. If bouncing isn't your thing, you can unwind at the Fuel Zone Cafe with a cold drink and snack. It's a great place for families to engage in exhilarating activities together. Customers have had positive experiences hosting birthday parties at the park, with friendly staff and timely service.
The kids love this place! They have lots of options to jump, play b-ball, ball pit and have a smaller area for littles. They have fast food options and lots of tables for parents to sit. Buy tickets in advance and you'll have to buy jump socks when you arrive, they aren't super overpriced though. Bring water with you so you dont have to buy it there.

Sky Zone in Moncton is an excellent facility for families and children. The environment is clean, well-maintained, and most importantly, safety measures are clearly prioritized for all visitors. The variety of activities offered provides entertainment for a wide range of ages, making it a suitable choice for both casual visits and active play. It also serves as an outstanding venue for parties and group events, with organized spaces and accommodating staff that ensure a seamless experience. Parking is available and generally acceptable, adding to the overall convenience. Overall, it is a highly recommended destination for recreation and celebrations.
Nort — Google review
We got there early, and we're able to jump when our party was there. (It was first thing in the morning). Some of the little ones I had with me for a party fell and needed a bandage, they helped and were so quick and pleasant to deal with. The area was clean, there was music but not too loud. They were very helpful moving our cart from the entrance to our table. It moved smoothly like a well oiled machine.

My child loves going here. There are many safety guards so you can rest assured. Only Sky Zone exclusive socks are allowed. The food is also delicious. The entrance fee and additional facilities are not cheap, but if your child is not too young, you will likely be able to have fun. I recommend this place. Thank you!

Massive indoor playground / arcade / obstacle course / basketball/ dodgeball / trampoline spaces, 10/10 would recommend for all ages and moderate activity level. Kids will sleep well at the end of your visit hahaha

The kids had an amazing time and so did this big kid. So much to do. We will be coming back for sure. I love the fact that the little can go on the bigger trampolines and have fun with the bigger kids. The service was amazing and we will definitely be coming back for round two. I reccomend the no limit pass.

Magic Mountain GolfZone is a delightful destination that promises an exciting day out for everyone. This vibrant mini-golf venue features four uniquely themed 9-hole courses, each adorned with captivating decorations that enhance the experience. Whether you're seeking a leisurely afternoon or planning a fun-filled birthday party, this spot has something for all ages. The well-maintained grounds ensure cleanliness and comfort as you navigate through both easy and challenging holes.
The mini golf is super fun and not really busy at the right times. The courses are clean and some have a pretty nice challenge! Love the golf zone and will be back!
Ivan D — Google review
I had previously given a poor rating on the Magic Mountain Golf Zone, but they spent about a year with a total reconstruction of the Golf Zone. I had high hopes but found myself disappointed and think they went the cheap route. The old Golf Zone had character: buildings, lighthouse, variable sloping terrain, a water feature. The new Golf Zone is wide open and the courses jammed close together. It lacks character now. We played 2 nine hole courses. It was "ok". We probably won't go back.
Derrick M — Google review
Magic Mountain GolfZone was super fun! They had many different courses each themed and had decorations to liven the place up. There were 2 easy courses and 2 hard ones. All 4 courses had 9 holes but were extremely fun.
Wyatt P — Google review
First time going to the GolfZone since it's been rebuilt and we enjoyed it very much. Had nothing to do one evening and I suggested mini golf and my partner was all in for it. We took the 18-hole package and completed 2 of the 4 courses. The decorations and theming is fabulous, the grounds are very well kept and clean and overall it makes for a very fun little outing. We will be back to do the other 18-holes

Nature & Parks
Centennial Park is a sprawling city-center park in Moncton, New Brunswick, offering year-round recreational facilities. It's a fantastic green space with plenty to do, from exploring trails and enjoying picnic spots to cooling off at the splash pad in the summer. The park features a serene man-made lake for paddle boating and bird-watching, as well as a playground for children. In winter, visitors can enjoy activities like skiing on the multiple trails that wind through beautiful scenery.
Lovely wel kept park with easy trails to walk on. In places, it's secluded as if you're not in the city at all. The park also has a pool, courts, and a huge playground, splash pad.
Skye D — Google review
Great splash pad, parking close by, can bbq at picnic areas great play ground and a nice walk/riding path around pond. A good and cheap family day. Trees offer shade. Enjoyed this park every time ive been with family (public washrooms as well)
Brett M — Google review
A nice, large park for recreation. It has plenty of trees and a river. There is a swimming pool in the summer and boat rentals available. There are several picnic and relaxation areas with many tables and free grills.
Anna K — Google review
Beautiful park that has something for everyone no matter what the season! Splash pad is fully accessible and great even for toddlers. There is a huge playground with equipment for all ages, a basketball court, and plenty of picnic space. There are some beautiful trails, and you can easily push a stroller or wheelchair around the lake.

Attended the Atlantic Nationals car show, fantastic experience. My first show as a competitor, I did not win any prizes but we had a wonderful weekend. Looking forward to this annual event from here on in. 1700 cars in the show, one of the largest shows.

Great park for everyone to enjoy. There's lots of walking paths and a lovely playground for the youth. In the winter, there is a skating path, and in the summer, the pool and splash park will help you cool down. There are tennis courts and lawn bowling greens. There's places to BBQ and have picnics. Lots of parking is available too.
Linda B — Google review
This is a park I go to often for an easy but very enjoyable walk. The trails are long enough to lose yourself in calmness and nature for a little while and separate yourself from town living, it is also easily accessible through the city bus (codiac) system. In the winter it is perfect to go tobogganing or do some cross country skiing.
Sam F — Google review
Nice park and wooded area for a walk, picnic, water park. Will be even better once the construction is completed. Winter update, construction is done, park looks great and skating loop is very nice although a bit melted due to warmer temperature.

Visitors can also enjoy rotating temporary exhibits that broaden the narrative to include global historical themes.
Great museum! Most of the content is provided is both English and French, so it's a great spot for anyone, but it's especially nice for people wanting to connect with their Acadian heritage.

Neat museum recounting the history of the acadians from the area, with exhibits, information panels, and artifacts. It was interesting to refresh my memory on the subject as we visited the Maritimes. Several of the technology elements were not working (ex., phones for audio). There were free postcards available at the exit. Admission includes access to the art gallery in the same building. There were washrooms and water fountains available. Parking is paid on campus.

Saw The Adams Family. Was done really well. Seating on floor row D was perfect and roomy. My husband, who is 6.3, had no problem with leg space. We had 2 kids with us, too. They really enjoyed the musical. Bathrooms are very clean. Bar was great and had kid friendly items. All staff we encountered were great.

I went to Capitol Theatre to see the play "Cinderella" by the Atlantic Ballet School. It’s a very beautiful place with comfortable seats—modern and clean. There are free water stations, and you can also buy drinks like wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages during the intermission. The staff were very polite and friendly. Five stars to them!

The Thomas Williams House is a well-preserved Victorian house with a rich history, once owned by the treasurer of the Intercolonial Railway. It has been meticulously maintained and holds many secrets from the past. Visitors can enjoy guided tours, with guides who have great patience and make meaningful connections with visitors, especially children. The house also features a Tearoom that offers delightful afternoon teas with local tea and baked goods.
I went to the Thomas Williams house for afternoon tea, scones and sweets. Good food, friendly staff and great service. A tour of the historical house is included.
Linda B — Google review
My children and I have gone to the Thomas William House every year it has been open to the public. Now it's my grandchildren's turn and they really enjoy it and, of course, the Tearoom. Jane was our guide this year and she really made a connection with my grand-daughter who absorbed everything she said like a sponge. It was especially nice to see Emma again, who has always been a great tour guide. She and Jane have great patience with children (a virtue in my books). PS. The new front walk is lovely.

Small historical building. The short visit can be paired with a stop by the tearoom. The offer is limited but they have vegan and gluten free cake. It is a nice place to take a rest while visiting Moncton.

Some of the more difficult but fun puzzles in any escape room I’ve ever done. I do think that some props and the overall look could use some improvement but other than that very much worth it. The price is unbeatable however.

We went for my daughters birthday who also happens to have mild cerebral palsy. She wanted to try the rock climbing, we were hesitant as we could not go in with her. I spoke to one of the worker to let her know she has difficulty with her balance due to her disability. During her time in the rock climbing the two ladies in there were amazing. They seen she needed a extra hand and helped her all well letting her maintain her independence. We appreciated the extra effort they put in to making her experience great.

Located at 774 Front Mountain Road in Moncton, the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre offers a variety of activities for visitors. The facility features three pools, including a spacious main pool that is slightly colder but less crowded than the others. In addition to public swim times from Tuesdays to Sundays, the center also provides access to a sauna during regular swim hours. Families can enjoy quality time together as kids have plenty of fun with two slides and an obstacle course.
The front staff is friendly and bilingual. The life guards have been a pleasure to speak with as well. The changing rooms, showers and washroom have always been clean. The price for a membership is very reasonable, and affordable.
Lea R — Google review
Great pool and safe place to swim for kids with small sauna. Rating 4 Stars because of the lack of personal and only 2 slots for public swimming on weekends. People have to wait until there is availability. It would be more convenient to add more public slots on Saturday and Sunday this issue can be solved and save parents time on weekends.
Guldana S — Google review
Google shows pictures of the pool and immediately below the hours say Open until 6pm. Today is Thursday. We came at 4:20 paid $20 for 2 adults and a nine yr old. My spouse swears that after we paid we were informed that it was closing in 40 minutes. She politely disagreed. We’re tourists and so hot & tired & my spouse is such an accurate person so… anyways doesn’t matter. The first thing the clerk should say is “Do you realize it is closing and by the time you get changed you’ll have 20 minutes?” She was very nice tho., The staff shared Info on where the family friendly changing rooms are , and was sympathetic to our ongoing abysmal tourist experiences in Moncton and recommended other pool options. Unfortunately our kid has Sensory Processing Disorder and finds outdoor pools too cold even when it is very hot outside. DIEPP PLEASE fix your Google hours associated with the pool. Your “Aquatic Center” center/gym or whatever else may be open u til 6pm but that doesn’t helps tourists with kids.
Bonnie J — Google review
Facility should allow reservations for swim times/online ticket sales. Water is very cold compared to some other indoor pools we've been too. Changing rooms were FREEZING after exiting the water. Brr... Pirate ship and obstacle course were cool though. Umbrella waterfall wasn't working.
F O — Google review
The best indoor pool in GMA for sure. Great for kids with a big pirate ship with slide and another water slide for older ones. theres even a rope to swing into the water. lots to do. good swim times, decent family price for the experience and no silly rules they even let go of the swim cap requirement.
Cheryl T — Google review
The dieppe aquatic centre is a great place to be, when you can get in. We went twice over March break, the first time we got there at 2:00 and they said that the space for public swim was already full (public swim is 215-355 so it hadn't even started yet technically). The second time we went we showed up at 145 and same thing, they filled all the spots before 2pm and swim was 215-355. I asked one of the girls at the desk and they told me they get different numbers daily that it doesn't matter on staff or anything and that they don't know why the numbers are different. I specifically stated I knew it wasn't their fault but that it was disappointing. Today when someone else asked they were told they were short staff. No one really seems to know anything or have any actual answers that they can stand behind. Very disappointing as it's the only pool geared towards kids. You'd think for March break they'd add more public swims or something to accommodate all the extra people.
Ericka P — Google review
We like the pool. And wait that there will be more available days and hours for visits with children under 2y.o.

Everything was amazing! We had just enough time to finish. The lady working there was very helpful and accommodating
Carly M — Google review
we went to the hangout, and it was terrible, the lock malfunctioned and we wasted 20 minutes on it, and then had to go find the workers. and as we entered the next room the 3rd room (the one your meant to unlock) was already wide open. we closed it ourselves but already saw what was inside and went inside thinking it was part of the second room. the clues were not helpful. 0 stars. i’ve been here before in the mineshaft one and it was great, the clues were helpful and the staff was monitoring our cameras incase we needed help. this time was terrible compared to before (about a year ago) 0 stars if i could. bad experience.
Carly L — Google review
The room was very lack luster and the explanation was very confusing. The pussles were lengthy and boring causing it to feel like a chore rather than a fun puzzle. For the price I was very disappointed considering my past experience with other escape rooms. I definitely recommend you go somewhere's else.
Meggie M — Google review
We went to the hangout and it was awful we had gotten the clue right but the lock had malfunction and when I waved at the camera for about 15 minutes no one came I then proceeded to go out to the lobby and and no one to be found I then started saying hello and again no one to be found I then called the front desk which then someone came running up from I assume the downstairs and said they had never seen us waving this wasted about 15-20 minutes of our time which they said they would add on but we don’t believe it was as it finished only about 10 minutes after the hour mark but we started about 10 minutes late. Only a handful of clues made sense and the staff after the lock malfunction weren’t very helpful. If I could 0/5 stars I would.
Jeff E — Google review
We did the mineshaft room. Nearly solved it in under 1 hr 2 adults plus a 9 & 11yr old. Staff was good and explained things well. We had a reset as there was a key on the floor at the start that when used skipped half the puzzles. Staff noticed and reset us, no big deal. Puzzles and decor and equipment heavily worn out which made things a bit more difficult. Missing hints and sloppy finish work could have easily been fixed which would have made things better. $120 for the 4 of us seemed pricey, but overall was a decent time. We've done 6 or 7 escape rooms before in different locations...
Gary B — Google review
Clues were well done, everything was used once and was well executed! Friendly staff and helpful with questions at the end. We were so happy to have done it just the 3 of us on time with very little help!
Jessica G — Google review
Great room, we took part in the Red Emerald Mine Escape. Good mix of some classic escape room puzzles and a fair amount of unique things to this room. We were a group of four, two newbies, and two experienced players. Finished in 49 minutes, with 11 minutes to spare. The room showed some wear from previous players, but I'd take that over something brand new looking and uninteresting.
Cody W — Google review
We had an amazing time! My friends and I took my intellectually disabled brother to The Hangout, and the staff let us keep playing even though we ran out of time. We were really close to finishing, and they must have seen how excited he was! A huge huge huge kuddos for recognizing that - and letting him have his victory! We will definitely be back!

Located at 55 Russ Howard Drive, the YMCA of Greater Moncton offers a range of amenities for visitors. With three pools and a modern fitness area, it's an ideal spot for those looking to stay active. The facility also provides various fitness classes and opportunities to learn new skills. Visitors have praised the well-maintained equipment and friendly atmosphere, making it a great value for the price.
What sold me for the Y is the fact that the "fitness trainers" don't force themselves on you. When I was checking out a few other gyms, it felt like I couldn't work out in peace because the trainers were trying to get me on a plan/regiment. Also the fact it was the only other gym in the area (that I found) with a pool. Student discounts are a plus as well. My only gripe would be that the equipment is vast but not the workout space, so if you come in during peak hours you may not be able to do a full proper workout. They do have rooms you can take advantage of once their free however.

i bought a pass for the week during my business trip and i have to tell you that i'm really surprised and happy to have taken advantage of this YMCA as soon as it was set up. the equipment is in great condition and there's everything you need at the gym. it's not crowded in the morning and the people are really nice. for $35 (which is really cheap) i really enjoyed and appreciated the experience. i highly recommend this YMCA if you're in moncton and i'll be back for more on my next visit in december!

I wanted to share some feedback about a concerning experience I had at the Vaughan Harvey YMCA on June 10 around 7:30 PM. Since the regular women’s change room was out of order, I was directed to use the family change room. While I appreciated the alternative, I was uncomfortable to find several young boys and adult men walking around in only their underwear, despite the availability of private changing stalls. What made the situation more concerning was that I saw a staff member present in the family change room at the time, yet nothing was said to address the behavior. The idea that grown men can be undressed in a shared space also used by young girls is unsettling. If I were a parent, I wouldn’t feel safe allowing my child to use that space. When I called to express my concern, I was told that unless I had said something in the moment, there was nothing that could be done. While I understand there may be limitations, I believe member comfort and safety should be a priority — and at the very least, clear expectations for appropriate use of shared spaces should be communicated and enforced by staff. If the regular women’s room is unavailable in the future, I hope access to the women’s Plus change room or another private alternative can be offered. I don’t believe I should have to pay extra to feel comfortable and safe in a shared space — the women’s Plus change room should have been made available under these circumstances. Thank you for your time and consideration. I value the services the YMCA provides and hope steps can be taken to ensure all members feel safe, respected, and supported. Best regards, Gabrielle Hackett

I swim laps every week. I really appreciate the facilities, but it can be, at times, hard to focus while swimming. The lap swim times are used like public swims. At times, there are people/kids cutting across lanes. Life guards are generally good at addressing these issues. i believe it's a YMCA culture thing. I learned to navigate that and not to sweat the small things. My opportunity to use the gym is 7:30-8:30pm. It is loaded with teenagers/groups and hard to find available machines. Other times I went were very pleasant and less busy. My issues are also my joys. Im glad to see a very kid inclusive environment. Kids should be exposed to a active lifestyle. YMCA should keep doing what they are doing! 💪

Staff are always so helpful and informative, the cafe is so well priced with really delicious homemade food, and the facilities themselves are pristine! There's even a free library from the rotary club near the front desk if you're taking a break from working out but forgot to bring a magazine! One of my absolute favourite spots in Moncton, especially since it's only a couple of blocks away if you want to shop at the discount bulk food items store (I'll have to look at recent locations to remember the name, but it's cheaper than Costco on some things and doesn't require a membership, so it's a nice outdoor jog from this YMCA) before/during/after your visit.

Our family loves swimming there. Great prices, never too busy. water a great temperature. Staffed really well too. Great lifeguards they were great with my kids today and great at making sure everyone was following the rules :)

They have a great program for swim lessons for kids. In person training, one-to-one. Kids loves the sessions and trainers.

Very nice CLEAN and spacious pool. Staff are very friendly and professional. One of Riverview's best amenities

Lessons here are great, very professional, they really help kids to develop skills not only to jump in the water. They care about technique

Took my daughter for swimming lessons during the summer and it was fantastic! Laura and Kathleen were wonderful with the kids and the facility was very clean, which was nice. Also, the water was a really nice temperature which helped with my fearful four year old.

Amusement park
Crystal Mountain Party Palace, located at 476 Rue Gauvin in Dieppe, is an indoor activity center offering a variety of entertainment options. From golf simulators and laser-tag arenas to classic arcade machines, this venue has something for everyone. Visitors can enjoy winning tickets on numerous arcade games and exchange them for prizes. While the place can get busy with parties, the attentive staff ensures that everyone has a great time.
Had My daughters Party here Saturday April 14th she and her friends had a blast the attendant was helping us the whole time was quite busy there she told us that they had 6 party’s back to back and even though it was busy the attendants fixed games for us very quickly many of the games were older so we understood that tokens got stuck but they were so nice and understanding and so great with the kids when helping them cash out the tickets I will definitely be back amazing place to have a party everything went smoothly even though it was busy they were calm and collected. You definitely get your moneys worth with the party’s 😊 I big recommend to any one with kids 🕹
Vintage L — Google review
Very friendly staff that are very easy to approach and are understandable. There’s plenty of parking, the laser tag room is decent, they have a bar at the back for adults then wants to have a drink while their kids are playing. Caution: The playing machines are quite old and are often broken or shutdown. Before spending any money, I would highly suggest that you first walk around and see what machines are working. I have had good and bad experiences at the location however the staff sure made it up positive for the bad experience we have had.
Guillaume P — Google review
The games are fun but seem to break dow. But they were very good at fixing or refunding your coins. The laser tag is fun. We had a birthday party there last year and it was a great place for the kids, the service was great and the food was good as well
Lou C — Google review
We had our son's 7 birthday party there and all the kids loved it! They got to play laser tag, arcade games and have pizza and cake in the party room. If they lost any tokens in the machines we would just let the staff know and they would give you ones to replace them. We would definitely have his party there again!
A E — Google review
Waste of time and money... Some games where out of order and no one bothered to put up signs. Other kids told us they where broken after losing a token or 2 and had to tell employees. Also many games stopped releasing tickets and again had to retrieve staff to fix it. There were no prizes for 100-700 ticket range. Definitely not going back.
Rachelle M — Google review
Had a blast here. Laser tag was great, the Netflix room was awesome, the older games were nostalgic, definitely a place for all ages! My only issue was that the machines didn't like taking the tokens and sometimes swallowed them.
Ocean S — Google review
Love going here with my son on slow afternoons. My only issue is that the machines he loves to play are usually broken down. Other than that, the prizes are decent and the working games are great. My son still wears his Pikachu trucker hat he got from the old location for 3000 tickets. We'll be back again and again!
MAGGOT C — Google review
The tokens for games are expensive. The prizes require too many tickets. $20 in tokens got us enough tickets to get a chocolate bar. The lazer tag was good. $5.99 a person, but $2.00 on Tuesdays. Not clean. I was a rat running through the arcade area.

Centennial Beach is a popular destination in the town, offering easy access to restaurants and local attractions. The beach has been awarded a Blue Flag certification for its cleanliness, safety, and accessibility. Visitors can enjoy delicious seafood at the nearby restaurant and even sample craft beers at the taproom. The new location of Centennial Beach provides convenient beach-like access to the pool, making it enjoyable for families with children.
We really enjoy Centennial Beach. The new location is so accessible and we love the beach like access into the pool. Our grand daughter loves it and enjoys the sprinklers they have. They shady areas along the edge of property, some loungers available along with tables with umbrellas. There is also a sandy area for the kids to play in the sand. The price is very reasonable as well. We surely will be making this our go to place to cool off.

Your website says open at 8 AM. I knew Canada Day would probably affect these hours however I thought perhaps it would open a little later. I arrived at 10 and was told it only opens at 11 because it is for the camp kids from 10 till 11. This should be stated on your website.
Diane C — Google review
Fixes to pump take a full day, and when finally able to go (the following week) got a nice rash (can't say where) due to pool water. wife too. No lockers.
José S — Google review
My experience at Centennial Park Pool was disappointing, to say the least. The management seems overly obsessed with enforcing a one-arm reach rule for kids aged 6 and under, regardless of their swimming abilities. As a result, I found myself constantly shadowing my kids, even though they are perfectly capable swimmers and clearly didn't need such close supervision. They also were wearing lifejackets (as an extra precaution) What made matters worse was Natasha, who repeatedly singled me out to remind me of this rule, despite other parents clearly not being held to the same stringent standard. It felt like unnecessary micromanagement and left a sour taste in my mouth. While I understand the need for safety rules, they should be reasonable and take into account the individual abilities of the children. This rigid one-size-fits-all approach just doesn't work and detracts from what should be a fun and enjoyable experience for families. Needless to say, I won't be returning to Centennial Park Pool. They need to rethink their policies if they want to create a welcoming environment for families who actually want to enjoy their time together without feeling constantly policed.
Mai A — Google review
Huge pool. Wasn't the cleanest though. Chairs to sit. Umbrellas and tables to shield from sun. Entry fee is $5 for adults. $3 for kids. Age 3 and under free. Family pass is $13.
Gwen M — Google review
Visually it's very appealing. It is also new so the facilities and overall area are well kept. It might just be me but the idea of so many children peeing in a pool of that size is just gross but if you love outdoor public pools this is a great one. It actually reaches over 5ft in depth in some areas. If you're like me and are a total germaphobe, don't torture your psyche and enter the cesspool of secretions... ;-)
MFR — Google review
(Writing this review a few months late as I had last visited in the late summer.) While going to centennial pool I had an absolutely horrid time. This was a combination of those little rascal kids running around, and causing havoc. I was half scared to death and feared for mine, and my son Juan's life. The water splashed around outside of the pool(and it was very slippery!) I was mortified by the life guards not watching or blowing the whistle!!!! Im still in an outrage about that. My stay at the centennial pool was almost called to an end when I was feeling a bit hangry, I went to the concession stand looking for a quick bite. I was met by a very warm welcome from a young cashier named Addison and she helped me satisfy all of my cravings (as I am pregnant) I left centennial pool to never come back for the pool, but instead for the wonderful young cashier in Addison( what a darling she was). I suggest giving Addison a raise next summer!!!!

Nature & Parks
Riverfront Park, located in downtown Moncton along the Petitcodiac River, offers 5 km of paved multi-use trails for walking, running, and cycling. The park features various monuments and lookout points such as the RCMP Memorial, Honour Garden, and Bore Park where visitors can watch the Tidal Bore. It is a popular destination for tourists with its natural features, sports fields, skateboard park, and summer festivals.
Peaceful in the early mornings, great event space for things like Canada Day and excellent location to get both urban and nature in your visit to Moncton. This is also not far from a spot where you can see the tidal bore twice a day. Avenir Centre is next door, the downtown food and bar scene as well. For the animals and kids, there's lots to do as well as the trail system goes on for a while and there's plenty of green space. Finally, there's also quite a large skate park for the region. During Canada Day, a competition is held.
Andrew B — Google review
Good place to walk or ride a bike! It's too close to downtown so sometimes you have to deal with the homeless but it's not a big deal, just something to take attention.
Pablo L — Google review
This place has a long trail along the riverfront from Dieppe to Riverview, you can ride your bikes and long boards etc. The landscaping is always well kept and you can setup a picnic and bring your dogs out. There's always events there in the summer with vendors, food and live music. There are paid parking nearby when the street parking's are taken. There is also a skate park next to the memorial which is also nice.
P S — Google review
I always love to walk this park any time of the day. Perfect place to see July 1st fire works. Snowbirds and other events happening around Moncton. Plenty of places to sit. And River views with tide. Summer full of events. One thing less is washrooms. There was one long time ago. But now only during events. There are information about old Moncton. And nature. You can ride bicycles. And open 24 hours.
Steve J — Google review
It is a peaceful place for a walk, and there are seating areas available. There are many different cafes, some even featuring live music. Picnic tables are also available. Additionally, there are several stands displaying paintings by artists.
Anna K — Google review
Beautiful place, nicely manicured gardens, fantastic event space. If there's ever any events going on, I highly recommend a visit. It's so nice to see the city taking good care of this fantastic outdoor meeting space. Popular spot also for biking and jogging.

Canada day review 1-7-2022 It was a great day to gather with family and friends and enjoy all the activities and entertainment related to Canada day celebration. Kids had good spots to play such as bouncy castle, trampoline and face painting with some nice magic tricks show. I hope next year they increase the activities as it was only one bouncy castle for thousands of kids. Food stalls were “overpriced” maybe due to the crowd and celebration, and you had stand in a long line to make an order, food quality wasn’t good compared to what we had to pay. Live entertainment band was amazing all the folks enjoyed it and was second to none. Fireworks was really great and it deserves to wait till 10pm to watch it. Overall experience we enjoyed spending the day there, and highly recommend to celebrate Next Canada day at Riverfront, if it will be held there.

The Play Cafe is a great destination for families seeking relaxation and entertainment. It offers a spacious indoor playground where children can engage in various activities, such as climbing, sliding, and hiding. Parents can easily keep an eye on their kids while taking advantage of the cafe's delicious snacks and coffee options. Although some visitors have noticed a decline since its initial opening, The Play Cafe still provides ample fun toys for children of all ages.
An awesome place for parents and kids to hangout. Lots of fun toys of all types for the kiddos and a small cafe for coffee and snacks. The indoor playground is quite big, with slides and poles and places to climb, hide, or do whatever.
D.A. M — Google review
The space is nice. My toddler enjoyed running and playing. The staff is horrible. We weren't greeted, girl at front just asked my son's age. And said "okay, just go play" never said a word after that. She was on her cellphone the entire time we were there. Then her kids came in and just helped themselves to snacks at the cafe. Even when we were leaving she didn't even say goodbye or have a nice day. We were not even acknowledged. Probably won't go back, I'm glad my son was free.
Jaimee V — Google review
My kids like it there. Good place to go to relax while the kids play while you can see them. Got to admit went abit down hill since it first opened. Ball pit isn't so much a ball pit anymore. Also can be pricy when bringing the 4 kids for not as much to do.
Amy D — Google review
Great place to bring your kids. I did not give it a 5 because the owner takes bo responsibility for the children also there is room for improvement in the food service and the play area. Once the owner has made enough money they should expand
Ray L — Google review
When we were there with my three year old, I found it was too crowded and a lot of the toys were the same as home. Older kids were being brats to my son and I didn't enjoy it. But the place looks great.
