Reynolda House Museum of American Art is a stunning estate with well-maintained gardens that showcase American art spanning from 1755 to the present day, including rotating exhibitions. The mansion itself has an intriguing history and knowledgeable staff were on hand to answer any questions. Visitors can freely explore the home while docents offer insights into its historical significance. It's a fantastic local attraction that offers a great way to spend a few hours with family or as a solo adventure.
I came here for the first time a couple weekends ago because they were doing free admission and it was a great way to spend my afternoon! I had been to Reynolda Village many times but never realized all the history behind this place. I spent about 2.5 hr walking through the place, reading most of the plaques and really enjoying a lot of the artwork throughout. The house is huge, 4 stories in all. I think my favorite spots were the sleeping porches and then the basement with a shooting range, bowling alley, wet bar, and pool! The main level had a ton of open spaces and lounge areas too. Learning more about the entire family, as well as the overall community was fascinating and gave me a deeper appreciation for RV. If you haven't taken a tour yet, I highly recommend it!

A stunning FIVE-STAR self-guided tour of the Reynolda House Museum, built in 1917 as the family residence of Katharine Smith and R.J. Reynolds on a 1,067-acre estate. This comfortable and regal home is frozen in time, reflecting early 20th-century style, and is brimming with period furniture, artwork, accessories, and clothing/fashions—spanning 64 rooms and 34,000 square feet. Highlights include a pipe organ that fills the home with music, a swimming pool, a ping-pong room, a bowling alley, an indoor shooting range, a bank vault, a walk-in wine cellar, and more. The home sits adjacent to Reynolda Village, Reynolda Gardens, and Wake Forest University. We spent a full day exploring the property, but you can take two hours—or two days—to enjoy your visit at your own pace. Another must-see in Winston-Salem is Old Salem, just a short 4-mile drive from the Reynolda House Museum.

I’ll be honest, I’m not usually a huge historical home fan so take my review with a grain of salt. I did think the home was beautiful though! It was $18 (before tax) and I felt like it was worth it. There are four floors total, though the attic is small. The outside of the house was my favorite with the white exterior and green windows. If you can swing it, I’d recommend going in the afternoon so you can hear the organ play at 2:45 PM (it’s not exact because I guess it takes a while to turn on) and is digitized. It’s pretty cool though to hear the music while you’re walking through the house. I’ll review it separately, but definitely check out the gardens while you are there! They are free!
Lo H — Google review
I have lived with 15 minutes of this Museum for close to 20 years and this was my first visit. What vision Katharine Reynolds had in the early 1900s. The house and the gardens are gorgeous. Walked out a Patron member. Thank you for making today a great day
Gina C — Google review
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to reynolda house museum in Reynolda village. The walk to the museum was so peaceful and full of nature. I walked past turtles in the river, snakes in the woods, and so many different flowers along the way. It was so special to walk around and see. When I got to the museum it had an exhibit of cigarettes. The whole exhibit was full of history about cigarettes and how they were branded in society. It was really cool to walk around and see so much history. I was happy to get an understanding about how cigarettes were branded and how they came to be so popular in Winston Salem. I’m very happy with this visit to a museum and I totally recommend a visit by anyone who is interested in history, art, or museums.
Ryan W — Google review
I loved the vintage clothing exhibit! The art displayed in the house is beautiful! The pool is open for public use with a museum membership fee.
Laura K — Google review
Great walking trails and scenery. I wish there were more garbage cans throughout the park. I had to cary some trash on an entire 2+ mile walk because I couldn't find a trash can anywhere.

Free with NARM membership. Mansion that belonged to R. J. Reynolds family. Really nice art collection and the home is a gorgeous 4 story mansion.

Museum
Kaleideum Downtown in Winston-Salem offers a wide range of engaging and educational activities designed to enhance children's literacy, motor skills, and social development. The museum integrates activities like painting, reading, drawing, and building into its exhibits while providing ample space for kids to run, climb, and play. Visitors can expect interactive experiences suitable for various age groups. The new location boasts four floors to explore with a rooftop opening soon.
It was my son’s 7 birthday and he wanted to come here after going with his school earlier in the year. I took my 19 and 12 year old girls and they all had a fun time. We went for 4 hours until they closed! The price was reasonable. We will return. Staff was nice, bathrooms were clean. I enjoyed squeegee the water area. lol that was a great idea to add that. Because in fact I did want to do that. My kids enjoyed doing it too. Which is oddly funny.
Daniella G — Google review
Kaleideum in downtown Winston-Salem was a great experience for our family. I took my 5-year-old and newborn, and we all had a great time. There were tons of hands-on exhibits that kept my older kid engaged and excited, and the space was very family-friendly and easy to navigate with a stroller. The staff was friendly and everything felt clean and well-maintained. It’s the kind of place you can visit again and again — highly recommend for families with young kids!
Jason C — Google review
WOW! This place is so beautifully designed and well thought out! We absolutely love taking our six-year-old and four-year-old. The rooftop playground is incredible. Every floor has something accessible for everyone. So much fun!
Meredith H — Google review
ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! From check in the front desk staff was very patient, professional and friendly-especially Tracy!! They even offer sensory bags to sign out if you or your child needs them. 4 floors- exactly- 4 FLOORS of varying learning and science activities all through FUN BASED PLAY. They even had animal exhibit section that featured exotic parrots! There are in dining options, 360 camera photo booths, and on the rooftop a huge playground experience. I took my 6 year old son and even I had a great time!! Definitely family oriented location but ONLY downside is the parking.
S L — Google review
Amazing science type center. Parking is also validated for a discount rate. There is a rooftop playground that the kids wouldn't leave until they were forced by a rain storm. There are 4 amazing floors of activities. If we lived within a 1 hour range we would easily be pass holders. My kids loved the rube Goldberg ball machines and the arts and crafts on the top floor. A note on parking. I adamantly never want to pay to park. There is enough street parking that you could get if you come early on the weekends. But less than $10 for all day parking when you have kids is a decent convenience
Caleb D — Google review
I have been to all the children’s museums in the triad area and this one is by far the best in my opinion. Four levels of fun for kids of all ages, including me at 55! I have a granddaughter with autism and she was so excited by the exhibits and was not overstimulated. We will be back for sure and are looking into becoming members!!
Mike F — Google review
Love this place. My kids easily burn 3-4 hours of energy here and more if I let them. There are a few areas that change with seasons which keep visits fresh and non repetitive. Various things for all ages to do. I recommend the water room last so your kids dont have to stay wet or bring a change of cloths. Theres a huge playground on the roof that my kids love and a cute
Mitch T — Google review
It's great. Your kids are going to love it, perfect for all ages. There's something for everyone. Can easily spend a long morning here, and plan on lots of return trips as you can always find something new each time. My only beef with it is parking. Even as a member, you still have to pay for parking. Even doing the validated parking in the parking deck, costs money. Sure it's not a lot, four bucks if you use the parking deck. But I think it's just the principle of a thing that if you're already a paying member somewhere you shouldn't have to have that extra expense.

Old Salem Museums & Gardens is a historical gem for enthusiasts, offering a deep dive into the Moravian settlement of Winston-Salem in 1766. The meticulously preserved buildings and lush gardens provide a glimpse into colonial America, while costumed interpreters bring history to life. Visitors can tour numerous historic buildings and learn about Moravian life, sample food, and explore an impressive collection of Southern decorative art at The Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts.
Absolutely loved walking around here and learning from all the wonderful historical interpreters. My wife and I stayed at the nearby Brookstown Inn and in the evenings we walked down here after dinner just to enjoy the vibes. If you are buying a ticket to actually go inside the houses I would recommend the all access pass because there’s truly so much to see if you enjoy history, I believe you can definitely make a full day out of it.
Jeffrey H — Google review
Wandering through Old Salem felt like stepping into an 18th-century Moravian village. I was captivated by the aroma of fresh Moravian sugar cake from Winkler Bakery and loved chatting with artisans in authentic shops. The period-dressed interpreters and beautiful gardens made history come alive. A peaceful, charming, and unexpectedly immersive visit—one of my favorite NC experiences!
Amber M — Google review
There were very few people around on a Saturday afternoon in September. I’m told this is very different from mid-Ictober to December, as well as March-July. And 5 hours were not enough. The interpreters were very friendly and knowledgeable, and even though we could visit very few of them, we learnt a lot from each of them. We particularly enjoyed the passion each interpreter brought to their work, and the efforts they made to keep the materials and processes authentic. It was an easy day trip from the Raleigh Durham Chapel Hill area.
Hema S — Google review
Another FIVE-STAR experience in Winston-Salem, strolling through Old Salem Museums & Gardens during the late afternoon hours. We checked into the Historic Brookstown Inn and walked three blocks up to the South Main Street entry point to Old Salem (the location of the historic Mickey Coffee Pot Maker). Easy! Old Salem is an immersive experience offering beautifully preserved and interpreted 18th-19th century history, I was surprised to see a marker on the property where the first Krispy Kreme doughnut store WAS located (see photo). Obviously not 18th-19th history, but still important NC history (love those doughnuts!). Old Salem is perfect for families, history buffs, or anyone who appreciates the heritage and period architecture. Be sure to check out Winkler Bakery, still in operation since 1800! Check out the shops, homes, schools, churches, and the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts.
Robert B — Google review
I enjoyed spending a day in Old Salem. The museums were interesting as was the architecture. Good way to spend half to a whole day.
Scott S — Google review
Visiting Old Salem this past weekend was like stepping into a living time capsule, and it was pure magic. As a proud Salem College alum, returning to the community brought back so many cherished memories, but experiencing it through the eyes of my son and the rest of our tour group (which included a bunch of adolescent boys!) made it even more special. The historical interpreters—every single one—were phenomenal, keeping both the kids and adults engaged with their storytelling and knowledge. I want to give an extra special shout-out to Brother DJ and Sister Stacy in the Salem Tavern, who absolutely stole the show. Their passion, warmth, and authenticity made us feel like we had truly traveled back in time. Thank you, Old Salem, for preserving this history and sharing it in such a meaningful and memorable way. We'll be talking about this visit for a long time to come!
Lauren Y — Google review
This building seems to be the visitor center for Old Salem its set up nicely with different historical displays and lots of information regarding Old Salem inside there's a gift shop and ticket Information desk as well as a auditorium great place to start your adventure on your walk through the historic moravian district of salem
Lewis K — Google review
Old Salem Museums & Gardens stands out for rigorous preservation and clear interpretation of Moravian town life. Winkler Bakery occupies a 1799 bakery that remains operational with a wood-fired oven and historic recipes, representing one of North Carolina’s longest-running bakery traditions and a rare working foodways site. The Single Brothers’ House interprets Salem’s organised communal economy. As residence and training ground for unmarried craftsmen, it anchors narratives about skilled trades, self-sufficiency, and town planning; today it functions as a core exhibit building within the historic district. Across these sites, Old Salem advances an inclusive mission that foregrounds the stories of Moravian, Black, and Indigenous peoples, strengthening its significance as a research-grounded, living-history museum rather than a static streetscape. I highly recommend people to stop by to experience and learn about the history of these lands.

I went when there weren’t any events and it was a pretty and interesting place to walk my dog. Plenty of panels explaining ever stone mound and site which made it pretty educational and a step up from many old colonial ruin sites. All in all it’s not worth a 4hr drive but if you’re in the area it’s a cool place for a walk.
Elijah A — Google review
I drove a few hours to get here and was disappointed because I came for the lotus pond. When I got there found out the trail was not accessible. However, we stayed and explored the grounds. It was very educational and interesting. I did find another was to access the pond which was a short drive away.
Kidan E — Google review
Went to the Apple Festival on a beautiful fall day. The crowds were large and well-behaved. Vendors had a wide variety for sale, and all the historic buildings were open for tours. Bethabara was a sister town to Salem where the Moravians settled in 1753 to escape religious persecution. Eleven settlers, each chosen for their distinct occupation, left Bethlehem PA and covered 520 miles in 40 days. The pottery house and the blacksmith were particularly interesting, as was the petting zoo for children. The large barn has displays of various tools used by the Moravians in everyday tasks. There are a few good hiking trails, one of which leads across Minorcas Creek to their God's Acre burying ground. A lot of history here. The only complaint I have is that no one was selling apple cider! Besides that, it was a great time.
Rick M — Google review
The historical structures are well marked. Had a lovely time exploring and walking around this Moravian settlement
Andrea — Google review
If you're a history buff, the story of the Moravians and their history in NC is very interesting. We went during the week so there were more staff than the very few other visitors. All were very friendly and informative. The black smithing volunteers have us a personal demonstration and made us a souvenir pot hanging hook from a steel bar ... very cool and interesting. They also had an assortment of metal tools, etc that would have been used in the settlement and explained what they did. I loved it! We only spent and hour and half or so, so we didn't take the guided tour, but I'm sure it would been very interesting. We did watch the we 20 minute video and read a lot of the plaques in the visitors center. Highly recommend if you enjoy history.
Bob C — Google review
My husband and I decided to stop by two weeks ago and it was just LOVELY. It is a small place but the history is rich. We walked around freely and admired the scenery. It was so peaceful and quiet. There was a very nice lady dressed in period clothing who offered us free stew and bread and it was such a fun experience. We really had a great time.
Lindsey B — Google review
Cool historic park representing the early Moravian settlement of the Winston area. One thing to note is that maps takes you to the park trails and not to the visitors center / historic site. The trails are very poorly marked with maps only as you enter the trails. If you are looking to see where the early settlement was you are better off going to the Moravian church and then down the road a bit to get to the historic site. The site and visitors center themselves are well worth it if you are into historic sites. A few old buildings still exist, lots of foundations and a few recreations. This site is well paired with a visit to the other historic Winston-Salem sites.

I had a wonderful time here today. Everyone is so welcoming and kind, and the art is always beautiful. The current exhibit “the threads we follow” moved me to tears, and has a piece you can wear around that gallery. Price was very knowledgeable and was so so kind to me today. I love SECCA and absolutely plan on returning.

Amazing modern art museum. Lots of gallery space to hold larger-than-life exhibits. Interesting architecture with a contemporary wing attached to a historic mansion. Every exhibition I've seen here has been first-rate, with innovative and modern works.

Art was fairly average, maybe not best season to go. But beautiful building & friendly staff! And the Hanes House attached is probably best part! Love the special details. Feels like being in Arch Digest. Will be back.

very fascinating place, love the history & the aesthetic of the building. the galley was interesting & insightful. hope to stop by soon to see the new artwork (some sections were closed month ago). the common areas are really cozy to relax & the furniture 🪑 well articulated & throughout. the staff was welcoming & quite helpful. 🖼️

i loved my visit here! there were only a few other visitors when i came on sunday afternoon. the man at the front desk was very pleasant and informative and i liked the layout and general atmosphere of the building. the current exhibits were interesting and well-presented in the space. it took me about half an hour to go through the galleries and look in the adjoining house. if i had known it was such a pleasant place simply to go and hang out i would have brought my laptop to get some work done, and it would have been nice to go out on the beautiful grounds with my watercolors and paint. i would definitely visit again.

Admission was free but donations are encouraged. There are a lot of different exhibits and the steward at the front desk was very knowledge and helpful. The lawn outside the museum is great for picnics. Hope to see the Maker's Market return next year!

From mini-golf and go-karts to laser tag, bumper boats, and an extensive arcade with over 30 interactive games, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The park also features Adventure Golf with three 18-hole miniature golf courses. Visitors can take advantage of affordable day passes and seasonal passes to make the most of their experience.
My sister her boyfriend and my nephews came to my house and told me to get ready—we were going putt-putting and heading to the arcade! I'm so glad I went, because we made so many fun and meaningful memories together. This location has quickly become a family favorite. Every time my nephews get to visit, I know this will be one of our go-to spots. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are kind, and the overall experience is exactly what you want when spending quality time with loved ones. The pricing is very reasonable for both the mini golf and the arcade. We had a blast playing through all three putt-putt courses outside, then headed indoors to enjoy the wide variety of arcade games. Collecting tickets and picking out little prizes added that extra bit of fun for everyone—kids and adults alike. We’ll definitely be back. It’s the perfect spot to create lasting memories with family. Tools ChatGPT can make mistakes

4 different arcade games were eating tokens No air conditioning in the main building on a hot summer day. 5 different games out of order. Absolutely filthy interior. Like it hasn't even been swept in weeks, not to mention wiped down.
Jacob M — Google review
We really enjoyed the arcade and miniature golf. They have 3 different courses to choose from
Nora C — Google review
Friendly enough staff, but definitely needs to be cleaned inside and out. The water is bright green, many of the things are just being held together; there's several golfing equipment in the water, and there's a distinct smell of mold outside. Inside. Inside the games are okay, however some of them don't work and it's a little disappointing. It is well priced though, and the staff were fairly friendly.

Place is kinda falling apart. Putt putt course had debris all over it. Definitely wasn't worth the $16 for one adult and one child to play one round. Water in the lagoons looks like it carries disease. Lots of broken arcade games. On the up and up staff is cool and there's plenty of parking.
Grisly A — Google review
Putt putt courses are okay though ran down and old, we still had a good time out here eith no wait and nobody in front of us. Game room on the other hand is atrocious. Don't waste your money. Half of the machines are broken, half eat tokens, and hardly any cash out tickets like they are supposed to. Was okay for a one time visit but wont come back
Steven P — Google review
Historically speaking this used to be a classic Putt Putt Golf and Games, so layout was designed for safari themed three course miniature golf and a video arcade in the 80s. Now the arcade has switched to a few driving video game machines but mostly the kind of ticket producing games of chance that kids gather to cash in on prizes like a Chinese finger puzzle, a yo-yo, some candy and the like. Some of the parking lot was converted into a bumper boat arena with about six boats and squirt guns on the front. They offer a good one price deal for 18 holes of mini golf, bumper boats, and 20 arcade tokens for a little more than a movie ticket. This is enough to keep several kids attention for several hours at $15 each.
Kristopher K — Google review
the putt-putt and bumper boats were fun. I ended up getting soaked but had a good time! When it comes to the arcade, very bad. The games just take your tokens without game play. One gatorade was also 3.50. Overall an okay experience, good deal with the unlimited game play but you don’t want to do putt-putt or the bumper boats more then once.

Truist Stadium in Winston Salem is a must-visit for baseball enthusiasts. As the home field of the Atlanta Braves, this modern stadium with a capacity of over 40,000 offers a perfect blend of southern hospitality and state-of-the-art amenities. Visitors praise the helpful staff, spacious seating with good views, and clean facilities. While food and parking can be pricey, the nearby Battery area provides plenty of dining options and big screens to catch the game.
I came over to Winston-Salem to see my hometown Greensboro Grasshoppers play. I was very impressed with the entire experience at Truist Stadium! Staff are friendly and helpful. The facility is also modern and clean. They have excellent food and beverage choices. I enjoyed walking around checking out the various craft beer options. The areas for fans to hang out and watch the game around the stadium are top notch. I got a “Dash City Lager” from Foothills Brewpub and enjoyed it on their perch in the outfield.

Really nice stadium. Paid for parking in advance and worth every dime. Seats were in right field (home run seats) and were very close to the parking lot. Rides for kids. Great food with lots of options. The sun was rough in the afternoon so I would advise sunglasses and a ball cap or visor for these seats. Overall great experience. Beautiful ball park.
Julie S — Google review
Went to my first Dash game. I got to the park early and had no idea where to park. (Handicapped spot) I ask an attendant at another lot, who pointed to the right lot and told me who to see. The people at the main lot were very helpful, including the worker that advised me to back into my spot so I would not get blocked in I left. I didn't do my research beforehand. You pay for parking either by an app or at a kiosk. No cash accepted. Same for concessions no cash. The ball park is beautiful! The seats are comfortable and spaced so you don't feel like you are crowding the person sitting beside you. I went on a Tuesday night so it was not crowded. I never waited in line for anything. If I'm in town again I will definitely try to take in another game.

Truist stadium was an awesome place to catch some minor league baseball. If been here a few times and it’s always easy getting in and out of the ballpark. They only take debit or credit cards now. No cash.

We took our kids to their first Dash game, and we were grateful for the mascot stopping to take pictures with them, the kids being able to run on the field after the game, and the fireworks show. The staff was all kind and knowledgeable about the things around the stadium. Great for some local fun; we will be back!

This is, without a doubt, one of the top minor league ballparks that we've visited. The food options are fantastic, adding the Carolina style into the mix. The entertainment engages fans during the mid- and end-inning breaks.

Great time at the Dash Baseball game. Place is very clean and the bathrooms were clean as well. Food options were plentiful. Prices aren’t too bad for food , they seem more for alcohol which is typical for ball fields. Seating around the field is pretty good. We were in 205 row 1 👌 (see pics)

Körner's Folly, located in Kernersville, North Carolina, is a unique 19th-century house museum with 22 period-furnished rooms. Built by Jule Gilmer Korner in 1880, this architectural wonder features a cross-gable roof and served as a home, stable, and carriage house. The interior was designed to showcase home decor options to clients.
We decided to take a road trip to Kernersville and visit a few places as it was a beautiful Fall day. We've been to Korner's Folly previously, but we couldn't pass up this sunny, warm day. The staff members, Britt and Claire, were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Other staff members were busy getting the house decorated for the holidays! 🎄 We again enjoyed the self paced tour. Love all of the history in this house! Looking forward to coming back again when all of the decorations and trees are set up.
Tracy B — Google review
We enjoyed our trip to Korners Folly. The house is a part of history, and we enjoyed walking the house and the property. This activity is NOT recommended for anyone unable to climb stairs or navigate under low ceilings. The tours are self guided and start right up till 3 o'clock (one hour before closing). There are plenty of parking and tickets were fairly reasonable for a quick activity. This was my second visit, and time was nice because renovation work back in 2021 is complete, and many of the rooms were slightly different than before. If you like history and architecture this is the place for you. They are closed on Monday.
Caroline O — Google review
Amazing!! Worth the trip! Even my 16-year old son was engaged and came away recommending it. Watch the video at the visitors center beforehand so you can appreciate the house even more. I will return any time I get up that way. 5-stars!!!
Ren R — Google review
Amazing bit of national history. One of the first interior designers in the US. The house is still under renovations and has changed vastly since it was built. Very knowledgeable staff, and self guided tour. Narrow halls and stairs, low ceilings may make it challenging for some. If you appreciate the guilded age, you will love this home's story. Worth the visit
A B — Google review
Take all the time you want wandering through this turn-of-the-last-century display home to see authentic examples of interior design, furnishings and architecture faithfully restored. Each room has an explanatory card to give you an idea what you are looking at, but there are layers and layers of details. My husband was not interested at all and only went to humor me. He enjoyed his visit and spent as much time as I did seeing how things were put together and old technology.

This was a delightful museum. If you’re wanting to tour an unusual home and can walk up and down lots of stairs you’ll love this house. There’s so much to explore. The guides were great, gift shop was fun. Clean rest rooms, beautiful landscaping. I only wish I lived close by so I could volunteer there. Very neat piece of history.

Paul J Ciener Botanical Garden, located just outside of downtown Winston-Salem in North Carolina, is a year-round 7-acre garden that offers themed gardens, a visitor center, tours, and a gift shop. It provides access to the world of plants and teaches about gardening and horticulture. The garden features ten themed gardens with beautiful displays of flowers and plants. Visitors can enjoy easy parking, plant sales, and a gift shop. The Japanese garden is particularly popular for its surprises.
A great warm November day to visit some very beautiful garden! Easy to get to off 421. The staff are getting the gardens ready for the holidays. Some flowers and plants were still blooming. Bees were still collecting pollen. We will come back for the holidays as well as next spring and summer to see the beautiful colors of the plants and flowers. Very cool with what they made from plastic water bottles. We also stopped by the gift shop which had nice items to purchase.

This is my second time visiting and it's such a relaxing and beautiful place, to spend a morning or late afternoon. There are some areas under maintenance and construction. I can't wait to see the add-ons.
Dizb — Google review
Wow, what a fantastic garden. I went for their holiday setup and it was not only extravagant and beautiful, it was cheap ($5 per adult!). The staff were very helpful. The place is cashless. Phenomenal place to explore. I will come back!
Monty R — Google review
In one short year the garden has transitioned from beautiful to dreadful. It was once the place to visit in the spring for the beautiful array of daffodils and tulips. This year, no tulips and pitiful daffodils. There are plenty of flowering weeds throughout all of the beds. There are maintenance projects but that is not an excuse for how the entire property looks. The city needs to hire a professional gardening team. I will not be returning until then.
Carol H — Google review
I found this place just by accident. two years back I wanted to see some Christmas lights and so we were driving by in and around Winston. During that time this place came up in a google search. I did not have any expectations. But it turned out to be a fine space. I have never visited it during the day. It is a walk through garden with flowers and decorations made with waste plastic bottles. The creative touch is what surprised me. And it's not just some vague art, they have recreated the flowers. That is so meaningful for a botanical garden. It has many photo spots. vegetable field, archway, different flowers, milk can snowman. It's fun.
Archie — Google review
So much to look at! The perfect place to visit with kids, friends, a date, or even just for a peaceful stroll alone. So much beauty and joy in this gem of a place. The Japanese garden is my favorite, with several surprises! I came here with 7 ladies from my garden club and we all saw several plants we had never before saw! There is a little waterfall and even nice little benches to sit and rest or relax along the way. Several of the trails or walking paths were cedar chips and very hard for me to push my stroller. I think it would be hard for someone in a wheelchair to navigate many areas of the garden, but there are some areas that are accessible, just not the whole thing, and I would say, the larger part of it. This would be the perfect spot to spend reading a book peacefully or for the perfect portrait.

Beautiful, well kept park in a quaint little area. Lots of little restaurants, coffee shops and stores to check out all within walking distance. Restrooms were also clean and in good order. There were plenty of tables with umbrellas if you want to bring a picnic and eat while people watching. Saw lots of people with dogs as well so I do believe it is a dog friendly park. We were here for a 5K and have to say it was just a beautiful spot. Took lots of cute pictures of my kids.

Located in Winston-Salem, a/perture Cinema is a non-profit art house cinema that has been offering an intimate movie-going experience since 2010. With two 80-seat theaters and additional screening rooms, it showcases independent, foreign, documentary, local, and festival films. The cinema hosts over 250 films and events annually with about 4,000 screenings. In addition to traditional movie snacks, a/perture offers beer and wine as well as healthy snacks and treats from local bakeries.
Having access to a theater like this is so important!!! Because of this theater, I’ve been able to watch films that I cannot find anywhere else and introduced to films I’ve never heard of. The dvd takeout is amazing and stocked with a diverse range of films. The snack options are nice and priced fairly. The events are awesome; I especially loved the ‘revival cinema.’ Devil in a Blue Dress became one of my favorite films, and the added history before the film started really helped contextualize it. Film studies has always been one of my hobbies and I’ve never really come in contact with a theater that prioritized film education and making movies accessible, so thank you aperture!!!
Taylor J — Google review
Great movie selection, but the screen placement in studio 2 was very odd, practically on the ceiling. I imagine this is because of the non-stadium seating, if so it would be nice if they could atleast tilt the screen downward so the picture isn’t distorted. Overall a nice experience but weird setup!
Cody W — Google review
Excellent popcorn, fantastic beer choices, but even more than the concessions, a great venue for watching movies. I love that they include multiple indie, foreign, and throwback films. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I've already seen Nosferatu, A Complete Unknown, and Mickey 17 there, and will be going back again soon.

Favorite cinema in WS/NC! Some of the staff can be a bit pretentious, but like, 7/8ths of the crew are amazingly kind and engaging. Love it there!
Corinne J — Google review
This is a great, intimate movie experience! They have a great mix of independent films and new movies. The theaters are pretty small, which means less people, and that’s good for a movie! They have a good amount of beer options, popcorn, and a couple other snacks to eat. The decor is very cute and this place is the ideal date night! Currently they do not have any mask or vaccine mandates.
Katelyn B — Google review
Really cool low key theater, with good popcorn, nice staff, with a more personal atmosphere. It feels like you are watching a movie at your home theater with friends.
Jason “ — Google review
It's a small cinema, with four screens, the one I saw much smaller than a traditional one. It creates a much more intimate feeling, like you are in some rich persons basement screening a movie. We were also introduced to the film by an employee, so it can be really hands on. Concessions are artsy as well, you can get gourmet popcorn made in NC, etc. And the movies are going to be more artsy as well, so if that's your thing you should definetely visit. It's a beautiful building.
Gabriel Y — Google review
My husband is a large man and often is uncomfortable sitting in chairs with arms. When we went to aperture for the first time, we asked if they might have an armless chair he could sit in, and they were able to accommodate our request! That made a positive impression on us, and was a big incentive for us to come back! The staff is friendly, and we like the small intimate theater space, not to mention the opportunity to see independent films when they first come out.

The museum offers a wide range of interactive exhibits covering various subjects such as biology, sound, physics, health, and the environment. Visitors can also explore the planetarium to learn about celestial bodies and space. Additionally, the facility features outdoor activities including nature trails and animal habitats for families to enjoy.
We always have a wonderful visit here, and this time did not disappoint! We went on a rainy weekday, so we didn't do any of the outdoor activities, but we especially enjoyed all the winter themed additions they had in the front lobby (pretend ice skating, ice fishing, snowmen and snowballs). It is normally not very crowded on weekdays, and we had the planetarium all to ourselves for our tour of the solar system. By the way, the man who runs that program is really great! He makes the experience fun, interactive and educational- I definitely recommend it! We look forward to coming back for another visit!
Elizabeth M — Google review
The museum has some interesting and fun exhibits, but the place is very run down. My toddler enjoyed the preschool play area the most, which was well kept. The videos for some of the exhibits were easily 20-30 years old. I wish I could’ve let my child play in the ice/snow themed room longer because the ice skating floor and fake snowballs were fun, but the room smelled like mold. Honestly it’s the first time I’ve been to a museum in such rough condition. I hope they’re able to upgrade it soon because the staff and exhibit themes are wonderful.
Monique G — Google review
I took my 8 year old over spring break. We had a good time and stayed for a few hours. It was a little dated in some ways. We watched the star show in the planetarium and although we enjoyed it the stars were so dim it was hard to see in the complete darkness! The shows operator said they were in need of an equipment change and definitely needed some new bulbs for the projector. They will be closing this location soon to join with their sister site downtown in a new building! We will definitely check that out and are looking forward to it!

I used to come as a kid, when I was 5. 11 years later, I brought my 5 year old sister. I went today, and still was not disappointed, I do miss the animals they used to have and the ride-on handle cart things which they’ve replaced with the icey area. Love this place for entertainment regardless.

I am revising my post on the Kaleideum North impart due to the feedback I had from my last post it would appear the reason why things are not getting repaired or it may look kind of unkept as far as building appearance is due to the fact that they plan on moving out of this location and it makes sense not to sink a ton of money into something that's not going to be around for them it makes me wonder if the new location is going to be more interactive and not have any animals or have a few animals needless to say as it stands this location still provides Interactive exhibits for the children to Play and Learn it is nice to see a few animals left can't wait to see what the future holds for the Kaleideum

Reynolda Gardens-Wake Forest used to be the gardens of a magnificent estate and is now accessible during daylight hours. The gardens include a greenhouse with various plants that can be seen by walking through it in about 10 minutes, but one can do multiple laps due to the numerous captivating sights. Additionally, there are lovely outdoor gardens that change throughout the seasons, making each visit unique.
I love the greenhouse and gardens here. It’s free and open to the public. The greenhouse had specific hours, but the gardens do not. We really enjoyed seeing the beauty of the gardens. With spring here, it’s blooming so pretty! The greenhouse has a variety of specimens and even some you can buy. I recommend a walkabout when you have the chance.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED – A Five-Star Encounter with Nature at Reynolda Gardens! If you're seeking inspiration, serenity, or simply a breath of fresh air, Reynolda Gardens in Winston-Salem delivers an unforgettable experience. This 134-acre horticultural gem—once part of the historic Reynolds estate—offers a rich tapestry of cultivated gardens, lush woodlands, meandering walking trails, open meadows, a gentle waterfall, and original greenhouse structures that echo its storied past. Nestled beside Wake Forest University in Reynolda Village, it’s more than a garden—it’s an immersive escape into nature’s artistry. Whether you’re an avid gardener, a nature lover, or just someone looking for peace and beauty, Reynolda Gardens is a must-visit sanctuary.

THIS IS FREE! Absolutely incredible site to see and truly worth an admission fee! I love that Wake Forest has curated this stunning array of flowers and landscaping to create a peaceful oasis. Easily accessible to the Reynolda Mansion as well as walkable to the Reynolda Village. Plenty of parking, just follow the signs and pack your walking shoes. There is a lot to explore. Clean restrooms on site near the greenhouse. A perfect stop for anyone to visit, but a great stop on a long road trip such as myself! Stretched my legs, grabbed a coffee in the village and filled my camera roll with tons of flower pictures. Mid May the Roses were in the height of their bloom and were spectacular!

Absolutely stunning gardens. We enjoyed every bit of it, even in 90+ degree heat. SO many places to walk and things to see. We were there for almost two hours and still didn't see half of what was there.

I always love having clients that love their sessions at this beautiful garden. Located in Reynolda village It offers a lot of variety for photo sessions. as a Local photographer, I will say that you need to make sure that you reserve your spot for your session. If you just go to their website it’s very easy to follow and it prompts you with everything you need to do.

Beautiful garden in full bloom now in may, free to enjoy, has glass hot house and shop. restaurants after a stroll are there too. Not recommended for wheelchair inside garden area. But shop yes

Absolutely beautiful. So much care and love goes into taking care of these gardens. Great place to walk around & get some exercise or there are plenty of places to sit, rest and just take in the view! So many little spots to enjoy. A must see if you are in the area!!!!

Always a nice, local place to step outside the city while in the city! Beautiful plants and garden, my pics here are in the fall but the greenhouse still has lots of beauty to see and it’s nice to walk around! You can see plants labeled from all over the world and learn more about horticulture and types of plants! They have a large variety and many plants we have never seen or heard of! Also a great place if you are trying to pick plants to do landscaping or decoration with at your house or property! You can also buy plants and the welcome center is nice, staff was pleasant and they have gifts and souvenirs you can buy! This place is free to enter and explore. Great place for a picnic too! There are also restaurants and stores to visit and enjoy while here too!

Winston-Salem Theatre Alliance is a small and cozy community theater that offers excellent live performances. The venue provides an intimate experience, making the audience feel like they are part of the play. Parking can be challenging, so it's advisable to arrive early. The theater has showcased various shows such as 'Rock of Ages,' 'Million Dollar Quartet,' 'Fun Home,' 'Memphis,' and '1776.' The performances have received praise for their talented actors, musicians, and directors.
Wow, this place is a gem! I just saw a show - White Christmas - here over the weekend for the first time. It's a small venue, but that means every seat is a great one with a clear view of the stage and performers. They also have a full bar and popcorn/snacks/concessions and it's super reasonably priced! The show itself was wonderful, got us all in the holiday spirit. The performers were outstanding, staff and seat ushers were all very friendly and helpful. If you haven't seen a show yet, what are you waiting for?! I will definitely be back.

I was looking for something new to do on date night with my husband. We went Saturday November 16 to the million dollar quartet, Christmas edition. I recommend if you go to this specific show you sit on the left side of the audience infront to where the piano is. The actor and musician was amazing on the piano. I have lived in Winston-Salem all my life and I never knew of this theater. The crowd was composed of an older audience with a few 20 somethings sprinkled around. They have a bar and on this specific day, They had a Christmas drink called. Go Rudolph go, which I thought to be adorable and witty. If you’re looking for something new to do for date night other than dinner, I highly recommend this place .

I love coming here to see shows with my husband. They are well produced! I've seen Rocky Horror, Chocolate Factory, and have tickets for Hairspray and Rocky Horror again. It's a great little theatre.

I thought I previously posted my review but I didn't. I previously have seen Rock of Ages on Broadway ages ago and I LOVED IT! I also have the Rock of Ages CD! So when I saw that Theatre Alliance was performing Rock of Ages, I knew I had to go! I went with a couple of people to see Rock of Ages! (I actually went 2 nights in a row!) The performers were amazing!! I basically sang the songs with them. The theatre is small and cozy! You feel like you're apart of the play. Parking may be difficult so get there early! The staff were very friendly and helpful! Looking forward to coming back for another show!

I went to see a performance of "The Prince of Egypt" tonight and it was phenomenal. The Winston-Salem community is so fortunate to have a space such as this that embraces the arts in such a profound and successful manner. If you haven't seen a show here, I strongly recommend that you do. These performers put in a tremendous amount of time and effort to ensure these shows are a success. I know it gives them great satisfaction to see their dedication properly appreciated.

We had the very best time seeing The rocky horror picture show. I didn't realize that there was a theater that's close to me. But really glad that we were able to attend. It was interactive, funny and a blast. We would definitely be returning.
Rita G — Google review
We enjoyed seeing Willy Wonky at WSTA this last weekend. I was shocked to learn about the volume of shows produced by this community theatre and to learn that they have (3!) performance venues at this space !! Willy Wonka was held on their main stage. We look forward to experiencing their black box and outdoor spaces as well. The main stage offers intimate seating, which makes any seat in the house feel like an awesome choice. Staff was friendly. Performers were enthusiastic. Restrooms were clean. For this particular performance, there were quite a few kids and families in the audience. I mention this because it creates a more homey, laid-back experience -- especially as several younger audience members needed to frequent the lobby mid-performance. While no one was loud or intrusive, given intimaty of space, it was easily noticable when folks stepped out and returned back to their seats. Overall, nice experience. Its lovely seeing so many people in the community getting involved in an activity that brought everyone so much joy.

Nestled in the charming Old Salem, the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts (MESDA) is a treasure trove for anyone interested in 18th and 19th-century craftsmanship from the Southeastern United States. This expansive museum features an impressive array of furniture, paintings, ceramics, and metalwork that vividly illustrates the lives of early settlers. A guided tour through its galleries offers a deeper understanding of this rich history, with knowledgeable docents eager to share their insights.
Definitive early Southern decorative arts collection and history. A Winterthur of the South in Old Salem. Always worth the visit and never enough time to fully appreciate the knowledge and helpfulness of the attentive staff of docents, volunteers and paid staff who are eager to share the beauty of the place. Superior displays and interpretive signage makes each visit a new discovery.
Leake L — Google review
Most of the museum was closed - but they still charged the full $15 admission. To be fair, when I asked about something in particular the docent unlocked a door and took us into a darkened gallery to see it. Maybe they just don't have enough staff to keep the place open, which is too bad because it's an amazing treasure trove.
Ann M — Google review
Exceptional period rooms and an exceptional collection of furniture. A two hour docent led tour is the best way to see it.
Eric E — Google review
While there’s some very interesting and intricate pieces here I feel like they’ve downsized in recent years and to get the full experience you have to get a guided tour which only happens twice a day it seems. There also used to be a kid’s play area there for years that isn’t there anymore is disappointing since my family had such good memories there.
J. L — Google review
If you want to see all 19 galleries, book (and pay extra for) a guided tour. Otherwise, you will see only the two rooms on either side. The staff was gracious and did their best to accommodate, but I was unable to get the in-depth tour I had hoped for. Going back when I can make an advance reservation.

Small, but really good exhibits. Virginia was so nice and answered all of our questions. It was obvious she had paid attention at the pottery seminar they had just had!🤗 We loved our visit.

I have been through MESDA several times over the years. I recently went back through because I wanted to show a friend the museum, however we were allowed in only a few small places and the vast majority of the museum wasn't open and of course it was the part I wanted to see the most, namely the rooms. The ladies at the ticket area were more interested in carrying on a conversation than explaining that which we discovered upon trying to enter a locked door. $20 for me to see three rooms. Wow! What we saw was nice I'm just disappointed.

Nestled in Winston-Salem, the R. J. Reynolds Auditorium is a stunning historic venue that has been captivating audiences since its establishment in 1924. This elegant performance space boasts a beautifully designed interior and is recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally built for Bowman Gray, a prominent figure in the tobacco industry, it now serves as a vibrant hub for various events, including enchanting classical music performances by the Winston-Salem Symphony.
This is a beautiful auditorium! You would've thought it belonged to a college. The Vienna Light Orchestra show was perfect for this place.

Awesome venue used by the Winston-Salem Symphony and WSFCS band events. Seating is a little tight, at least up in the balcony where I always sit. Make sure to check out the statues in the foyer!
Noah E — Google review
Great auditorium. We saw The Vienna Light Orchestra, it was wonderful! I took off a star for two reasons: Parking is horrendous, get there early, early, early! Signage for lines needs to be way better. Few people knew how to line up because the signs were to close to the entrance and the lines were massive. Fortunately, I came upon the auditorium doors in the opposite direction (because my daughter dropped me off at the far end of the parking lot) of the major line and a gentleman who was familiar with the events there told me how the lines were to be formed.
A C — Google review
It is a beautiful building, considering we are in Winston Salem. I went here for a candlelight opera show " Vienna Light Orchestra " and a great performance. I was surprised to see the auditorium was almost full . You enjoy best with your partner but I have been by myself. I live the the place and I will be happy to go back . There is enough parking and the attendances are polite and nice .

Update 2/12/2022: Went for the same show, 2GNC Comedy All-stars Show. The venue hasn't changed at all. The people that helped you to your seat was super nice and very helpful. We brought my handicapped son this time. They showed us where the elevators were, and helped us find somewhere to sit since my son is in a wheelchair. Great place! Update 2/15/20: I revisited this venue last night for the 2GNC Comedy Allstars Show (same show from the last visit a year ago). This year the wine and domestic beers were $5 and imports were $6 and that came with a UNCSA cup. You did have to buy a ticket and then get in another line to actually get your alcohol, but the wait wasn't that bad. The show was great! Seats are a little compact, but not terrible. I am sure I will be back again. Old Post from 2019: It is a really nice place. The only issue I had was they make you buy a $2 School of the Arts cup to drink a bottled soda in the balcony! I thought that was a little weird and unnecessary.

August 2, 2022 supporting the National Black Theatre Festival we attended "The Eve of Jackie" at the venue was te University of North Carolina School of Arts Steven's Center which all attendees were allocated to the orchestra level. The single ladies room on the first level was clean and stocked. The building has elevators as well as steps. The steps are accessed via a centered couple steps and from there ascending to the upper levels are steps off to the left and right. The venue was not in charge of ticket sales/collections for this show.

Beautiful historical location with great acoustic sound. The seats a comfortable and you cant sit in a bad seat from the stage. Looking forward to going to this venue again for the arts.
Amanda F — Google review
This classic theatre has hosted generations of performers. I always have a great experience at the theatre whether I enjoy the performance or not. As with all theaters its age, more bathrooms would be appreciated and the elevators don't have enough capacity. I look forward to seeing it when renovations that are currently underway are completed.
Andrew L — Google review
Excellent sound quality. Comfort is a zero. Smallest seats of any auditorium. Not everyone is 5' 5" and weighs 120 lbs. When you want to sit in the middle of a row, EVERYBODY has to get out of their seat just to let people get to an empty seat. I'm not sure how claustrophobic folks could handle it. But, Nothing can be changed. It is what it is.

Customers have praised the staff, particularly mentioning individuals like Amber, Shawn, Jordan, and Katie for their exceptional service in organizing corporate outings and birthday parties. The venue offers not only bowling but also billiards and arcade games.
It is nice for a big crowd, I had a party of 11 people. But depending on what day and time you decide to go it can get very crowded.
Elizabeth H — Google review
Me and Rybo went out to bowl on his birthday. We had suds and pizza, which were excellent. The phellas working the front, Brian and Sean were on point with helping us. I really appreciate the level of professionalism. There was plenty of space and the place was very nice and clean. Look forward to going back. Great experience, great management here. Thanks.
Robert M — Google review
To start with the good- the bathrooms were clean and the bowling was fine. But the bad.... the staff were unhelpful, it took over an hour for our food to come out (a SINGLE basket of fries and three drinks), and the prices were far too high. It was 11 dollars per person, and the "large" fries were tiny and over 12 dollars. We ordered the fries after our first round out of four. The power flickered, but afterwards we were able to get our drinks, but the fries mysteriously disappeared. I understand that there was a power outage, but it makes no sense that one item wasn't on there. We alerted the staff multiple times, but they were rude and unhelpful, claiming that they would look for it and then stand around and do nothing. After we finished our four rounds (over an hour after we ordered), one of our party went to the bar to get a refund for our missing fries. Our ticket was missing, there were no receipts, whatever. While this happened, our fries were FINALLY taken to the table. Our 12 dollar, large fries were measly and NOT worth the money. This was really frustrating because the bowling was fine and it was a clean facility, and this could have been totally avoided.
Marion M — Google review
We booked a party here for my son's birthday had 2 hours of bowling and enough food for 14 people and we had to take home leftovers The staff was great food was great and the bowling was fun!
Brad A — Google review
Very friendly, helpful, and attentive staff. They were very understaffed, but the employees who were there worked incredibly hard to make sure everyone had a good time. I would typically subtract a star or two because of how long it took to check in and get our food, but I do not hold that against the employees since they did not make the schedule. Overall I would recommend!
Brandon P — Google review
I booked a company bowling event for 4.19.2025. The process was very smooth. All of the attendees were pleased with the accommodations and Bowlero manager, Ky, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
Cynthia J — Google review
Had a really good pleasant experience. I did a mistake for online reservation and the manager Erica was able to help me. Was surprised of the amount of pool tables that they have available to use. Food and drinks are good. Will be visiting again.
Omar B — Google review
Bowlero is unfortunately very dirty, customer service from getting a lane to getting something from the bar or food area is horrible. Don't use the bathrooms for sure. Feel bad for some of the employees, very apparent they have very little training. Pro shop, forget it never open. Good luck everybody. I now travel to high point to bowl. 150% better all across the board. I even talked to district manager before leaving this review. He asked me to try them again. That was a mistake, a month later it was even worse. They just don't care about this alley and it shows every inch of facility.

One of the standout attractions is the dinosaur-themed play area, where children can unleash their energy on a two-story slide or climb aboard a T-Rex for an unforgettable experience.
Beautiful play ground. The area is so nice and clean. There are nice walking trails that are in the shade. There is a bathroom, picnic tallness and picnic shelters. OT is very kid friendly for all ages

Decent network of trails and pavement. Ball fields and dog parks are in excellent condition. There is even a set of calisthenics equipment beside the trail. A nice spot to get in a couple of miles and do body weight exercises near central Winston-Salem.
Jeni B — Google review
This is a great park for dino loving kids. But this past weekend when we visited there was a lady in the womens bathroom using drugs and there were needles on the bathroom floor. I reported it to the Police and they sent an officer out. It's sad that they feel the need to do this in a kids area. My suggestion would be to have an officer patroling the park daily to keep this out of the kids area. What if a kid would have found one of the needles and picked it up? We need to do better for the safety of our childern!
Crystal R — Google review
There’s a playground and some running water. There are plenty of little gazebos and a baseball field. There’s a nice little trail and a pole park as well. Over all okay place, neighbor seemed alright but it’s close to downtown so I wouldn’t trust it too much as far as safety goes. It didn’t feel like the safest place in the world.

Got kids who are dinosaur lovers? This park is a MUST! My son was so excited when he saw all the dinosaurs! We are visiting from Texas and this was the coolest find! Highly recommend! Lots of climbing and critical thinking on how to get from point A to point B! Great park!
Jordan S — Google review
Best gym, best people! (Also, best location - Acadia AND Easy Tiger within a block?!)
Basak C — Google review
This was a really cool place to bring the children! When they saw there were dinosaurs on the play structure they just started screaming with joy! Immediately they ran off to play on it. The area was very quaint and peaceful. There are trees around you providing just the right amount of shade but also letting in the sun enough to not make it creepy. My children played for a long time and didn't want to leave. If we are in the area again, we will need to bring a picnic to eat at one of the pavilions or picnic tables in the park. It was clean and well taken care of. Overall just a great experience. P.S.-There's also great photo opportunities that you can take with the dinosaurs!
Anthony — Google review
When you arrive you drive down this skinny gravel road by the power lines. Just keep goes and you'll get there. You should see the baseball park, the play ground is in that direction. My kids really like this park. The dinosaurs add a little extra excitement. There's a lot of climbing options and so if your kids love the climbing it's a good option. Although you should be worn it can be quite scary for the younger ones who aren't as experienced. I like how the swings are far enough away from the playground where you don't have to worry too much about the kids getting kicked. Also there's plenty of swings. There's a great place to park on the street if you don't want to walk too far. if it's not crowded you can get close. Otherwise you park in the lot which is about a 3 minute walk with little ones.

It was an older, less fancy experience, but I did enjoy the less crowded feel. The staff was really nice and helpful. The only reason I dropped a star was due to a questionable preview of an R rated preview for a stop motion movie (which looks like a kids' movie) during a kids' movie screening. I am sure it is based on the content of the movie and not really bad, but I was not alone when I heard other parents question this R rating. I think better judgment should be used when cycling previews due to a rating, but like I said, it could just be based on the content and not what I consider what is in an R rating.

I saw their post about playing A Complete Unknown in its prime format and them knowing a guy that worked on that movie. I first saw the film at the Grand on xmas day but wanted to rewatch it so I came here to try it out. WOW. The movie looked and sounded amazing. Really impressive projection for sure. Wish I saw it here the first time. Seats are old but in better shape than the Grand and felt cleaner too. Overall, a great local place, good price, big screen, hot popcorn and really kind staff. I’ll be back to see more here.... Went back again tonight (6 months+ since I wrote this review) for Mission Impossible - Final Reckoning. The Sound 7.1 in cinema #5 was simply amazing, the under water sequence was incredible. Top notch! Great popcorn again! PS; congrats on being voted best cinema in WS with Yes Weekly! Huge for an indie cinema I am sure. Keep it up!

Employees seem bored and disconnected from the kids, I think the extremely loud terrible music has them numb to radical nature of this indoor adventure park. - Well lit obstacle course with ball pit. - Wipe Out was working. - Sticky floors and table covers need a little attention. - Lots of safety cones on duty around the place. - Kids are enjoying it, they don’t seem to mind the mediocre vibe. - No Go carts or laser tag at this Urban Air, but it had a lil’ bumper car pit. - The track and harness connections on the ropes corse are janky, the customers under 75 lbs had issues navigating the intersections.

First time visit after purchasing a year-long membership for our son and us two parents. I'm possibly regretting it, as I'm already seeing the broken, out of order things and lack of customer concern for the value and transparency of money paid before knowing. Allow me to explain. My son had attended a birthday party here several months back, and one of the things he was able to participate in was the VR. For his birthday, we purchased a year-long committed monthly pass so we could bring him her often because A. He loved it so much, and B. We had frequented others in Winston-Salem and Greenboro and over the last 2 years they have taken a real turn for the worst and even though this is my first time here, this facility is well on its way to becoming a half functional establishment that will alienate the customer base. The other places had go carts that no one would ever operate even though they would sell you tickets for lack of staff. They eventually replaced half of their attractions with pay video games with a few bouncy castles. Nope. No longer went. Other places did similar things with more expensive admission and fewer attractions and more. So here we are all day my son was talking about VR, VR, VR. We arrive, and my son shows me around. He does the ball pit. We do the go carts (2 min rounds per), and we were waiting for the VR to open and final we asked and employee. "Oh, the VR doesn't work." "How long will it be down?" "It's hasn't worked for a long time." Awesome. An upset 8 year old and two parents who purchased the membership that INCLUDES the VR. It also includes the bumper cars, but that is the only other thing that my son is interested in as everything else is height related, and he is afraid of heights. No mention on the website about the down VR, and a very "shrugging " response from employee. Also one of the things that you are supposed to jump into is broken and looks rather dangerous, and nothing is preventing people from using it. My wife witnessed a small girl actually jump into it, and she was not hurt but struggled to get out bc it wasn't functioning. Overall... I'm regretful for reading a website and I guess... believing them on their actual attractions that are functional. This is how it begins, though. One thing is broken, another attraction indefinitely down... people will stop coming as they should because this type of business practice is unacceptable. In the meantime, we're on the hook for a year with hopes they will fix the things promised. Proceed with caution.

I took my nieces and nephews to Urban Air Adventure Park and we had such a great time! The kids loved every minute of it. What really made our visit extra special was the amazing help we got from Gah’ques. He was super friendly, patient, and made sure everything ran smoothly for us. Thanks to him, the whole experience was even better. We’ll definitely be back!

I give it 5 stars because I asked the manager Tamara can she have someone to clean the bathrooms and she was very professional and had the bathroom clean. The lady at the urban cafe was real nice and professional as well. Black excellence

My son has had two birthdays here with success and it's the perfect place for low crowds during the week at 11:00am when they open.

I'm sure this review will be given a "I'm sorry for your bad experience" and nothing will happen but this place is too expensive to not speak up. This was the 2nd time (5/25/25) we decided to come here and honestly, we were hoping things would have gotten better... but sadly, were we left even more disappointed. On top of the random price hike that members weren't informed of: The floors are so dirty here they leave your feet (INSIDE THE SOCKS) BLACK from whatever muck hasn't been properly cleaned probably since the place opened. None of the staff were friendly except for the woman who gave us our wristbands. The guy running the spinning ninja trampoline attraction had his pants down below his butt and was on his phone the entire time, not watching the attraction whatsoever- that's extremely unsafe. None of the other employees seemed happy to be there- not a friendly face in sight. Tons of other attractions were broken, needed to be fixed, or were so dirty that I was scared to touch them. The foam pit smelled DISGUSTING, every foam piece had bite marks taken out of them, and the attraction itself only had one paddle (it's meant for two people). Multiple timers outside of the ninja course literally aren't bolted down and could fall on any child who touches them. This could truly be an amazing establishment if the owner gave a crap about it. Please do better, Urban Air.

Located on West 9th Street in Winston-Salem, The Ramkat is a prominent music venue that opened in 2018. With a capacity of 1,000, it occupies the space once held by the iconic Ziggys. The two-story warehouse-style hall offers excellent sightlines and acoustics, making it suitable for both large-scale shows and intimate performances. Visitors can enjoy live music from various artists, including emerging talents and established acts.
Nice venue. Seem to have a good local following. Band-End of the Line. Enjoyed the show even though they got a late start. Parking was typical for downtown Winston-Salem. But wasn't a bad walk. Only negative doors aren't open until after sound check. Not sure if that was a band thing or establishment rule.
Chris L — Google review
I enjoyed a great show at the Ramkat On a Sunday night. Performance was excellent and then you was nice What wasn’t nice, and before warned, is that the parking lot in front of the venue even on Sunday night is a pay parking lot that charges $45 for 3 hours. I entered after dark and left right after the show. They are threatening me with collection if I don’t fall for the extortion, and this is not something that has ever posted at the door to make sure that you’ve paid for parking I Will never again visit this venue because of the extortion rate parking. Don’t be fooled and don’t forget to add $45 to the cost of your tickets To determine the actual cost of the show

This venue is really wonderful. The crew running things are professional and courteous. The sound was fantastic and it definitely enhanced some already amazing musicians' sets. Pretty cheap drinks and plenty of bathrooms. This place has been around awhile and it really shows.
Erin H — Google review
I bought tickets so we could sit on the balcony, and boy was I fooled. The people who reserve tables will block your view, and even if you get a table you’ll be looking at the show between the metal railing bars. Just posting here so others don’t make the same mistake as me. Just get regular, standing general admission tickets. The upside, the staff were all very nice.
KP P — Google review
Cool venue - really good use of the space, great views of the bands from almost anywhere. Lots of street parking available.

I’m going to have to check out more shows here. We came for Cowboy Bebop Live and had a blast. They even had special cocktails made up for the occasion. Hope they do it again next year!
Johnny W — Google review
I like everything about this venue. Easy to get drinks, it was clean, loved the high ceilings as so many smaller venues seem dingy and claustrophobic. Exited the show straight over to the brewery next door. I can’t comment on parking as I took an Uber.
Paul M — Google review
This is a nearly perfect venue for live music. The layout is such that seated or standing one is usually able to view the elevated stage pretty well. Bar service inside the venue is quick and helpful. I only dinged 1 star for the variability of sound. In the center of downstairs we mostly heard bass tones, finding a more balanced sound mix to the sides and even in the restrooms lol. Didn't go upstairs. It wasn't bad but could have been a tad better. Not a deterrent. This place rocks! Will pick a different location next time is all. Restroom got pretty trashed by end of night but that's on patrons to do better or report an issue.

Safari Nation Winston-Salem is a great spot for older kids, with a large play area that may be challenging to supervise for parents with younger children. It's an ideal place for young ones on cold or rainy days and could also serve as a fantastic venue for birthday parties. The staff is friendly, and the facility offers various attractions such as zip lines, arcade games, bounce houses, and slides.
I have been in all Safari Nation in the Triad and love them all. We recently had my daughter's birthday party at the Winston-Salem location. I will say they birthday packages are good prices. The staff is very friendly and attentive. You can tell they care about the kids. They are constantly cleaning the place and always willing to answer any question. It's a well managed environment!

Absolutely perfect place for younger kids on a cold or rainy day! Would be an excellent place for a birthday party as well! The staff were super friendly and nice! My 7 year old and 3 year old wanted to stay until close. They had so much fun! There is a zip line, arcade, bounce house, several slides, and so much! It was really clean and lots of seating for adults. They do not allow any outside food or drinks but do sell concessions, including slushies. We were able to wear regular socks and did not have to purchase their brand. They said its $2 off if you go within the last 2 hours of closing. It's definitely a great place for play dates or even just a day out with the kids. They will have so much fun! There is no loud music so I could easily talk and hear my friends I was visiting with. Also, the place is well lit, so you can see pretty well. There are 2 areas that are for 4-year-olds and younger, which I appreciated, having a 3-year-old child. An excellent place to visit with younger kids and my kids were already begging to go back again on the drive home!
S G — Google review
Great place, we had my child’s birthday party there a few years ago and it was very fun. The kids loved it. They could use more oversight on the big kids play area cause small kids get in there and it can be too much for them. I had to take a 2 year old down once cause she was so scared she was crying. But the staff is friendly and they did great with the party!
Cassy H — Google review
Not a bad place for a smaller kids birthday party. It seems a bit lower budget than the trampoline parks and smaller in size. I'm not sure the cost as we were there with a party but I figure it's cheaper than the trampoline parks. If so it's not bad for smaller kids. The place looks neat and clean. Some of the parts look a little worn or are not working properly in the jungle gym area.
Shawn J — Google review
We took a group of kids to Safari Nation. They had so much fun on all of the different attractions. Our group ranged from almost 2 to 13 years old. The associate Jennifer was so helpful, she did a great job taking care of all our needs. They had a special going on their tshirts $20 and they got half price admission. We are planning our next trip and bringing more kids with us.
Cindy S — Google review
If you plan to bring a child under 4 and an older one, it’s hard to keep an eye on the older one if you stay in the toddler play area. The older kids play area is very big and has a few different places to enter/exit and a lot of blind spots from the parents area. This place definitely suits older children best. I saw one men and women’s restroom, and the women’s only had one changing table. So if you’re bringing children in diapers/pull ups, expect to wait for access to it. They have a sign posted about being short staffed; overall they’re doing okay with what they’re working with. But I wouldn’t go back for this price point with children under 5.
JoAmber D — Google review
The place looks awesome. Great place to bring children. The video games, jungle gym, zip line, bouncy house, and bumper cars were fabulous. Reasonable prices on the games. Customer service was extremely helpful.

Used to be better, literally every time we come less stuff is in working order. I get that kids are destructive, but maintenance of attractions and equipment is important. My 2 year old shows less interest in being here each time because of how little is working.

When you think of liberty St generally there isn't much good to say but this place is it! This place was Great!! We had putt putt to ourselves very unique course and challenging! We ate the food was expensive for what it was but flavor wise was great 👍. We played in the arcade next nice games geared towards young adults/ teens at a fair price. They even had trivia in the other room. A great spot to chill! Will be back soon!

We attended the Edgar Allen Poe Speak Easy. The food downstairs in the venue itself was terrible and the server was rude. However the performers and the drinks served by the artists were amazing. The atmosphere was lovely and we had an amazing night overall. Beautiful. We look forward to part one! The venue itself was very fun looking but we weren’t there for the venue more so for the event.

Came for the first time for the ROAR rooftop view to see the fireworks. One website and the official website never said the seating are reserved only, my mother with disability was disappointed. Plus it has free admission but have to pay $5 to stand up ?? Workers: The service was welcoming and friendly. Rooftop bar for one small drink for $13 is questionable. Overall, good services. The Live Music: The band was RagtopBetty, they were pretty good, wish I got alittle closer to film them but when you’re short, there’s disadvantages for a rooftop band. Atmosphere: Fancy and would be good for spaces but the service keeps inviting more and more people to the rooftop to where everyone was crowded and bumping into each other. The people: The people that were also wanting to see the fireworks- I hated it. It was very diverse (Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, etc friendly) but as an African American woman, I felt unwelcome. It’s 2025, but there’s still racism ? The people & service: If one person or two people reserve a seating area (4-6 seats or lounge couches), for an hour or two has went by and you know you don’t have a party coming, could of at least offer a seat to those who’s been standing there !? Or service should have gave them an only one seat or two seating area instead of taking a whole couch !! For standing around for an hour, at least I brought my own sparklers 🥹

A great evening of talented, amateur performers who make and serve a mean couple o’ cocktails- fabulous and fun all around! I do not believe they served any food at the event but the beverages were *chef’s kiss*!!
Nilyra B — Google review
The atmosphere is excellent, but we rented a room to do virtual golf for an hour and a half. It took over a 1/2 hour to get set up because the equipment was malfunctioning. We had to find all of our own equipment. The balls were all behind the broken screen. The online food menu does not reflect what was actually available, which was appetizers only. There was absolutely no staff available to even ask questions or check in people. We had fun once we got going, but that had nothing to do with service or lack thereof.
Ameriah S — Google review
I'd recommend this place ONLY for the games. The food wasn't all that! I do not place tips on screens, especially before I get my food. I guess the cook wasn't pleased as it definitely showed on my cheeseburger. The people stationed where you place your food order weren't cool at all. In fact, the female worker was only nice to the females in my party, which I found strange because I was a paying customer too. I think I know what she was all about. The only staff member that was cordial was the bartender.
George M — Google review
This is a fun place to hang out with a group or family but it does need some improvement. The bowling is super fun; it's short lanes with small balls and very casual. We didn't have any trouble with that but the sports simulator bays were not calibrated well and the bay we got for our teenagers was so problematic, they ended up giving up on it. They are definitely understaffed but once we found an attendant, he refunded our money for that bay. The staff is very warm and professional. The teens also enjoyed the arcades.
Melissa C — Google review
First of all the concept is good for it to be a mall of entertainment. The putt putt, arcade, lan gaming, food and atmosphere is overall good for one stop fun. This is where it goes south, everything costs way too much to begin with and you will stress more about the cost versus how much fun. Only 7 holes of mini golf is 10 dollars per person. They have two courses you pay for separately so 14 holes cost 20 per person total. Times that by 4 people in our party 80 bucks for around 40 mins or so plus tip. It was fun except some of the holes miscalculated the points even when done right in the 5000 point blue hole and only got 2500?. Second The arcade is credits and costs a minimum of 5 dollars for 20 credits, although this is Saturday peak time. There may be deals on non peak days for credits. The pizza in the food court has a rating of 93 as you can see in one of my pictures. We spent 100 dollars plus parking fee for about 1 hour of fun. It's great if you have the money to spend, we like ours too much to pay this again. Nothing really bad or awful just was too expensive and I was afraid to try the pizza because of the food rating.

Creekside Lanes, situated at 1450 Trade Mart Boulevard in Winston-Salem, is a popular bowling center with numerous lanes available for visitors every day of the week. On Saturday nights, visitors can experience cosmic bowling with black lights. The staff is known for being friendly and helpful. While the retro TVs may need an upgrade, the overall atmosphere is enjoyable and family-friendly. Additionally, guests have praised the delicious food served at Creekside Lanes.
We love Creekside Lanes! The Kids Bowl Free program makes summers special and we’ve hosted birthday parties here. The recent updates were much needed and we appreciate them. The staff is always friendly and helpful. When we don’t do the kids bowl free program we’re still happy with the prices and have great times.

We absolutely LOVE bowling here! Nothing fancy but exactly what you need. The staff is always friendly & AMAZING, and the food is great - by far the best out of any concession around! We always do the family special, especially for a birthday, and it’s the best deal in town. One of the only who has NOT gone up in price, THANK YOU!

League bowler at Creekside for 10 yrs plus. Sadly to say ownership n management has failed to improve equipment, lane conditions and has HVAC issues beyond repair that cause inconsistent lane conditions! Broke chairs, fans to cool instead of AC, thermostat off due to heat not working, lanes breaking down due to lack of proper conditioning of equipment, overhead screens need updating, ball returns failure n jump lanes, computers to service lanes are outdated! List goes on. Needs complete overhaul and better management/owner that cares! Have sent emails/Messages with lack of proper equipment repairs! Prices high in cafe. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CENTER ESPECIALLY FOR LEAGUE BOWLING! I’m only one person but if others would speak up(instead of gripping)as I have, just maybe management would do more or at least try!

my husband, daughter, and I went here as our last fun thing before heading back to GA from vacation. The alley has a lot to offer from arcade, food, billiards, and bowling. We enjoyed a game of bowling while eating lunch here. None of us had bowled in years and had a lot of fun. Staff was awesome, prices were much lower than we expected, and the food was fantastic. If you go to bowl, get 2 sizes smaller in shoe rental than normal size. I recommend this place for anyone who just wants to go relax eat and have a little fun.

my friend and I were told they didn't have any Lanes open when we first came in as there was a league there and empty lanes that were apparently being reserved when we got there an hour later as she'd advised us she told us there weren't any lanes open until 4 which if reservations were needed they should've been offered the lady was very rude and offered the worst customer service I've ever experienced and gave a very offputting energy. Incredibly disappointed with the staff there.

I booked a birthday party for my son for today, March 9, 2025. When we arrived, early, I was told that there were no lanes available. I booked two lanes for the party. The person at the counter offered an apology, but no further assistance and placed the blame on a new hire not notating the party. Meanwhile, I'm stuck trying to figure out a plan B in the lobby and trying to redirect guests that'll be arriving.

Me and my four children go all the time and we have a great time EVERY SINGLE TIME. Of course it's hot 🔥 out, the lifeguards need breaks to cool off too! These reviews are ridiculous. We have always enjoyed Winston water works and never had a problem getting in. Suddenly today they picked a huge fight over the brand of shorts my kids had on and argued that everything wasn’t on the approved list, despite most of them being exactly what was on the approved list. Including a rash guard shirt and 2 piece tankini. Be sure there is NO question about your own outfit being on the list because they will not budge on it AT ALL. (We wore the same exact clothes 4 days ago and didn’t have a problem.)

Unfortunately, this place has drastically gone downhill as previous reviews state. We tried calling multiple times during the week to ask about booking for an event. After no answers and issues with the online booking system, we drove there. The young lady at the counter could not gather what we were asking for, she said I needed to complete a waiver... A waiver to discuss interest in booking for a birthday party? 🤔 Not sure if it's the lack of training or onsite management to blame. You could also see the very obvious signs of damages listed by other reviews. My son even stated he was glad we didn't book there, says a lot for a child even seeing the issues at hand. Only giving 3 stars because kids seem to enjoy it while there.😬

The first thing you'll notice about Surge is that it's overpriced. The second is that despite being an athletic facility you aren't allowed to bring your water bottle. Everything costs money from sitting in a chair to drinking water. The poor upkeep, limited staff, and cutting corners with maintenence screams maximize profits! The staff uses a hook that has been duct taped to the end of a stick to retrieve the trapeze bar. Also, I've been in bars with cleaner restrooms. This gets 3 stars because my 7 year old absolutely loves it.

I took my 15 year old grandson and 8 year old granddaughter. They had a blast. We were there for 3 hours. You can buy a band that let's you stay for 2 hours ($16.95) or one that let's you stay all day($17.95). They do parties also. My only complaint was some of the equipment is raggedy looking. The grandkids mentioned this also. They have a limited snack and drink selection.

Very nice trampoline park, suited for all ages. 17 bucks for 2,5 hours of jumping is reasonable

Brought our daughter and her friend for her birthday we had to pay for a hour and a half even though they closed before the time would be up, they close at 8pm and at 7:30 they cut off all the games and started mopping the floor. There was nowhere to walk that wasn't wet and we had promised her that she could play games at the end after she finished jumping. We bought three drinks which we were not allowed to take into the trampoline area which was fine except that you also were not allowed to sit at a table without paying $50 per hour for one.It was a wasted $45.00.

Me and the kids had a blast. There were many fun stations and obstacles. Climbing the giant tower of rubiks cubes was my favorite challenge. My 8 year old did get stuck in the foam pit once and needed help, but my 6 yr old didn't get stuck. Dodge ball was fun too. We can't wait to go back.

This place is a HOLE. I Booked online 9 - 10:30 to find out when we get there, they close at ten. When asked about some kind of re imbursement the mensa candidate said I could talk to the manager which this time with my son had already been cut short now I have to haggle with the other genius. Which I did not. He didn't even attempt to seek me out in the time I WAS there and they were not even busy. Its obvious surge needs the money more than I do because everything EVERYTHING is broken and in disrepair. EVERYthing. My 9yr old actually got his foot stuck when it slipped through one of the partitions in the floor. Staf said, "duuuuuh." Its apparent this place is closing soon and they're just taking what they can get. AVOID.

Hanesbrands Theatre is a sleek and intimate performance venue located at 209 North Spruce Street in Winston-Salem. It has a capacity of 228 people and hosts various events including plays, film screenings, and music shows. Visitors love the cozy and intimate setting that makes them feel closer to the performances. While some found it too small for certain productions, others enjoyed the proximity to the stage and praised its acoustics.
First time here. The theatre is small and intimate! We saw Unnecessary Farce. The play was great!! The cast was amazing! There are plenty of parking spaces, in the lot, across from theatre. We paid $5 cash for parking. Looking forward to coming back to see another play.

This was my first time visiting this theatre and not the experience I was anticipating. I attended August Wilson’s Fences play, which I was looking forward to seeing, but could not fully enjoy because of a disappointing encounter with seating. Upon arrival, there were other partakers in our seats and unwilling to move. When a volunteer attendant came over to see what the issue was, we explained to her we weren’t sitting because of the party that was already there. In our row (F) the theatre had a sign that specified certain seats were reserved for a “47 Club.” The members in seats one through five seemed to be seated correctly but the other members and/or partakers from six and up were not. Our purchases were made a month in advance, with the entire row being available at that time, we purchased two middle-seats. Members from the club did not acknowledge that they were in the wrong seats, did not attempt to move and the volunteer staff did not engage with any of them to ask what their proper seats were. We showed our tickets to the second volunteer attendant who came to assist, but she too only asked if we were ok with just sitting in the two seats left. This is the first theatre I have visited that did not verify seating; by asking all parties to show stubs so everyone can be in the correct seat. Since we were only spoken to, I can only assume that this club may be a regular participant of the theatre. Even if that is the case, I still paid for my seat, and it would have been nice if we received acknowledgement and/or apologies from the members and/or staff. The signs could have been a theatre mistake but since no one checked to properly correct the issue, the problem was not fully rectified. Which again is disappointing. I wanted to attend a future production the theatre is having but after this experience I have become very hesitant to attend any others.

It also connects to various neighborhoods and side trails. Additionally, it features parking lots and multiple entry points.
Trail is fantastic in the middle of the city. It has creek, playground, good picnic & party area, bike rental, dog park. You can see many birds, squirrels, and sometimes small snakes. Shane O — Google review
This is a great place to run. Because of the length of the trail it's probably my favorite Greenway in the area to run. It's easy and flat which is nice for a long slow run. The bathrooms stay pretty clean but I've started keeping a roll of toilet paper in my car because they do run out of toilet paper. I do wish there was another entrance on the dog park side so you wouldn't have to plan trips around school hours. I do wish more people would leash their dogs. I absolutely love dogs but it can be scary running and you see an off leash dog. I don't want them to think I'm running towards them or their human and decide to attack. I'm guessing Tanglewood must actually enforce their leash rules because you never see a dog off leash on those trails. Also, occasionally you get a dirt bike rider weaving and speeding between runners and walkers. That's not very often but there was a guy doing it this past Saturday (9/7/24)

Very pleasant paved path, really suited well for bicyclist, inline skater's, etc. Both ends lead to private housing developments with "No Trespassing" signs. Not sure if that's enforced, but be aware of it.

Other than having a really hard time finding out how to get into the trail, I really enjoyed it. The problem is my map program wanted to take me to the beginning of the trail and told me to turn right off a bridge. I turned at the next right near a school and eventually through following other people found the trail

The Mickey Coffee Pot Marker is a charming roadside attraction located in Old Salem, Winston-Salem. Originally a sign from a tinsmith business in the 1850s, it has become an icon of Old Salem due to the Moravian tradition of the love feast where hot buns and coffee are served. While slightly out of the way, it's worth a visit for its historical connection and local sculpture.
This is by far the biggest coffee pot I've ever seen. And made of tin. Can't believe it was made in 1858 and still looks this good. Great photo opportunity.

Part of Salem Creek Greenway trail but offers good access to deep pools and runs of fishy water. Water was a bit stained but largely clear. It should hold good size fish. Will fish it later in the year when it gets warmer.

What a gem! A nice area to hike and bike (or rollerblade for my fellow 80's babies)and they have a nice dog park with areas for both small and large dogs and a place to hose off your pup. Oh wait, there's more! An outdoor fitness park!!! I haven't seen many of these in NC but we were excited to try it out and got in some situps, step ups and pullups just to name a few. The Greenway looks like it will be much more developed in the future but this was such a nice surprise to find when we were only thinking it was a place to hike!

We took our grandkids ages 5 and 3 here today. They had a blast and we got to sit back and watch. There were only a couple of other jumpers (Thursday afternoon 1:30-3:30) so we almost had the place to ourselves. We bought the tickets and signed the waivers online, very easy. The staff was very nice and the place is super clean. It's an absolutely perfect place for a kids' birthday party. It would be great to have a picnic table in the area where the arcade games are so the kids can sit and have a quick snack and a break between jump sessions, but that's about the only thing I can complain about. It's a great place.
Christy F — Google review
Wow. This place went downhill. Lots of lights burned out, it’s pretty dark in the little kid section - where you wouldn't want it to be dark. Oh the bathroom…. No paper towels, no soap, no toilet seat!!, no toilet paper, lights burned out in there too. The kid at the front desk was like “yeah some kid ripped off the toilet seat, sorry”. I had to go next door to planet fitness and they were nice enough to let me use the bathroom. There are holes that look to be kicked in the wall back by the bathroom and panels disconnected. For the music - there seems to be only one speaker working in the way back corner. The place just looks like no one is maintaining it. It looks considerably different from the last time we were here.

So we get here and the AC is just not working which could be because the ducts are not able to have air flow. We had to leave early cause my kids were extremely hot. Attended a birthday party here yesterday and the space was pretty decent for our kids. The room was split between two parties with a divider in the middle, so once everyone was in that space we all realized that there wasn’t any A/C blowing from the vents back there. The park area you could feel the air out there but not in the party room which we rented. The children had so much fun in the foam pits and on the trampolines. There were a few games that were out of order but the children enjoyed the ones that they could play. Overall the children had a fantastic time but the lack of A/C in the party room just didn’t do us justice for this establishment.

Safari Nation High Point is a popular spot for kids, featuring various play areas and attractions. The facility offers a large section dedicated to younger children, with multiple slide options and engaging activities. However, some visitors have noted that the presence of older kids can sometimes overwhelm the little ones in this area. While the staff is praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, there are suggestions for better supervision to ensure that older kids do not encroach on the designated toddler zone.
Hosted my daughter’s birthday here on a weekday. I had a group of about 10 children. It was such a successful event. Staff were very helpful. Facility was neat and clean. Zip-line was my daughter’s favorite and I can say that they manage it in a very orderly manner. I was very grateful of receiving my one month pass to return. Overall I had no complaints! Good place to take your rabbits on crack. This location specifically has the much beloved zip line and huge jungle gym. Only downside is in the back of the whole thing there's a section of the jungle gym that opens up and it's just a couple steps to a drop. Safety concern there, but generally kids are smart enough to avoid it or just get bad vibes. Oh and their arcade is whack, but you really ain't going there to play with the arcade so no deductions there.
S C — Google review
I came here with my 2 year old son on a Friday during winter break. We arrived right when they opened and little did we know that the place would soon be taken over by lots of older kids from the Y. All the commotion from all those kids did overwhelm my son at times, but we still managed to have fun. I appreciated how large their 4 and younger section was and there were 2 slide options. I wish there was staff regulating that area a little more as some of the older kids did attempt to play in the area. With the larger playground, there was a good variety of slides and activities. However, there are some areas that need to be fixed as you could see things were falling apart after lots of wear and tear. There is a section where you can shoot soft balls and my son was scared of that noise and it was going off often. I appreciated that you could bring outside food, but not sure why you cannot bring outside drinks. Overall, it can be a hit or miss on how busy it is so you just take that risk when you go. Also it truly depends on your child if they will like that type of environment.
Erin S — Google review
My kid loves it here, but the place seems to be getting a little worn. The foam floor tiles were not connected well inside the playground, and it the storage behind the mesh inside the playground is a bit of an eyesore. My kid loved the zipline and slides, though. IMAX theater
Regal Palladium is a cinema complex with multiple screens showcasing the latest movies. The seating is luxurious, and there is also a concession stand available. I had the opportunity to watch Avatar in IMAX 3D at this theater, and it was truly worth it. The visuals were incredibly immersive, with bullets seeming to fly out during intense fight scenes and the natural scenery feeling more vibrant than on a regular screen.
Regal Palladium is a fantastic theater. I love how grand it feels—exactly what a movie theater should be. It’s also larger than the Greensboro location, which adds to the experience. The Palladium theater is impressively clean, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a movie. That said, both locations definitely get the job done. One thing I’ve noticed is that the Palladium location tends to have more promotional items than the Greensboro theater, which is a nice touch for movie fans. Another standout feature at Palladium is the seating. The chairs are incredibly comfortable and feel brand new, which really enhances the overall experience. However, one suggestion I have for both locations is to move the seat control buttons to the top of the armrests instead of the inside. It’s frustrating when I accidentally press the button while leaning against it, causing my seat to move unexpectedly. I’ve included pictures of the menu and the theater to give a better idea of what to expect.

I booked to watch a movie at this cinema online and this was my first time here. Nice movie theater. It has your basic reclining seats & prices for the concession. They do have the awards program if you are signed up for regal cinemas. I enjoyed the movie I watched here. The concession workers were nice. It’s in a pretty place with a good atmosphere. Pretty clean. I’d go again.
Kristie W — Google review
We had a great experience at this theater! When we booked our tickets, the only seats left were in the second row from the screen, and I was a bit hesitant, thinking they might be too close. But the way the seating is arranged made it surprisingly comfortable—perfect, actually. The concessions were great as well—the staff was friendly, and the popcorn was fresh and delicious. We also noticed that the projection quality was noticeably better than other theaters in the area. Overall, we’re very pleased and definitely plan to visit more often!

This is a nice theatre. The reclining seats are always a plus. The extra wide cup holders so you can actually put your giant soda down are a nice addition from the theatre we were used to. The lines are never very long, they always have people working. Not trying to run the whole place with 3 people so everyone has to wait forever. So far, everyone working has been very kind and helpful as well.

I went to see the movie "Sinners". Seats were extremely comfortable and there was PLENTY of seating. You get to choose where you want to sit as far as the screen location once you purchase your tickets. The downside to this theater would be the price of popcorn and drinks. I didn't even ask about the prices of candy after hearing how much everything else costs. I did, however, get a cherry slushy and it was MORE than enough. Very good and refreshing. They had a photo booth there so we took pics in a photo booth, but that was $8. SMH

Didn’t let me in with a group of people because we didn’t have a “chaperone over 21” when the website says that you have to be 13 or over to buy an adult ticket. We had legal adults in my party and they said that we cannot enter unless we are over 21. It’s the movie theater, not a bar. Not sure why they are treating it as one. Would not recommend.

We attended a birthday party on a Friday evening and my kids had an absolute blast. I love that there's something for everyone to do. Quite a variety of activities for kids of all ages. The facility was clean and everyone was helpful and attentive. We were fortunately there at a time that wasn't busy which was very nice. They also recently supported our community organization with a silent auction donation! So thankful they support our local community!

I accomplished my family for my granddaughters birthday. I’d never been to this location before. It’s got lots of options for the kids and from what I understand, the kids have hours to run off their energy for the ticket price. The staff at the front check in were pleasant enough. One accommodated us by taking a quick group photo for us. There was also a manager (that they think was named Chris) that allowed my daughter to use an empty party room due to health issues. She is epileptic and the flashing lights in one part of the facility were a concern. He also brought her a fan when she was hot, which was way over the top. So so appreciated. Sadly, the rest of the employees there, with the exception of the two young ladies at the snack bar, were all rather rude. Only one cracked a smile and became more pleasant when I engaged in conversation with him. The rest acted like they hate their jobs and would rather be anywhere else. In fact, I went up on the skywalk and the zip line and there were no instructions given whatsoever. Just hooked up and pointed in the right direction. Chris, or whatever his name was, that helped with my daughters comfort and safety is why I am still giving four stars despite the rude staff members. Also, my granddaughter had an amazing time.

Great clean spacious place to go for fun or birthday party! Not just trampolines they have go karts, zip lines, bumper cars, ball pits, etc. Party hostesses Seniyah and Ari were great! Good food too. A little more pricey than other parks to do it all but worth it

Located on market street, Urban Air is a great place to bring kids to. This is not a typical jump and fun place. Alongside several trampoline spots, Urban Air has an indoor electric go kart rink which goes around kids climbing walls. There are bumper cars and an cute little zip line which the kids love. It also has several spaces for birthday party events and a huge area for parents to sit down. The café has a good selection of party/junk food. Great place for the kids to bring over.

My son in law and I took my 5 grandchildren for the first time and everyone had a BLAST! We determined to leave at 4:00 & My SIL & all kids wanted to stay longer! The staff was very helpful, bathrooms clean and SO much to do! I was amazed! We will definitely go back!

8/2 my son had his 6th Football themed birthday party at the Urban Air in Greensboro, Nc. The party host Tatum was a huge help. She helped me to decorate the space, she had a pleasant demeanor and personality. The hospitality manager Syniah Smith made the party reservation process a breeze. She kept in contact with me from beginning to end. Thanks so much Urban Air Greensboro for making my sons 6th Birthday a success.

This place is awesome for a kid. I definitely want to give a special compliment to Faith at customer service. When we got here, it was starting to get crowded and she was the only one at the front desk helping a lot of people. She should not be up at the front by herself, considering the amount of people that were in line. She was doing the best she could! Also, I left my single car key laying on the counter and Faith found it. I thought that I locked the key in my car. Faith, thank you so much. We will be back!

Took our child here on Father's day. She had an absolute blast! Every single employee was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The place was relatively clean considering that it's packed with kids! The employees are what really made it for us. They were so chill! We'll definitely be looking into have our child's birthday party here in the future!

Movie theater
AMC High Point 8 is a cinema with advanced technology, featuring 3D and large digital screens for showcasing newly released movies, opera performances, and sports events. The theater is known for its cleanliness and excellent staff. The seats are equipped with heating elements for added comfort. The employees are highly productive, providing exceptional customer service. Emma appears to be the supervisor who demonstrates efficiency and friendliness.
Such a wonderful experience 💕. The room was completely dark, which made the movie way better to see! Oh and the best part!! Was the heated recliner seats 🥰💕. Made our movie night so comfortable and worth the money spent! 💝. (I take that back in some way because sheesh 🥴 it was expensive! $81 for 2 adults and 4 kids. And that was just tickets! ). But overall it was a wonderful experience 💕.

Being a Stub's A-list member, I go to this theater a lot. Every single time the staff is helpful, attentive, and friendly despite sometimes seeming understaffed. Last night we had Sawyer as our cashier and they went above and beyond to help us find the perfect concession combo. The facility is always clean and the staff does their best to clean thoroughly between movies despite patrons being rude and leaving all their trash in the seats. This is a great theater and I will continue to frequent this location.

We had a great experience at this theater! The space was very clean, and the seating was incredibly comfortable—having the heated seats was a fantastic touch. The only downside was the quality of the projection. At times, the image wasn’t as clear or vibrant as expected, and some scenes appeared too light or washed out. Aside from that, everything else was excellent.

Saw movie in theater 1 today and something was going on with the screen or the quality because it was not clear it was almost cloudy looking which was pretty disappointing. Also the lobby was FILTHY with black dirt and popcorn covering the floors. And be mindful when you get regular size popcorn in the bag because the guy didn't even unfold the bag at the bottom then put popcorn in so it was only about half full then when I brought it to his attention he acted like he didn't notice and put more popcorn in still not filling it up. This theater used to be nice but it has really gone downhill.

First time that I’ve been in a movie theater since the pandemic. Had a little bit of sticker shock as to the price of concessions, but that’s to be expected I guess. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the lobby, but the staff had the actual theater, incredibly clean and neat. Loved the reclining seats, which made the experience a great one.
Roger P — Google review
I love this theater. I have the app, which makes it convenient to reserve tickets, food, and to pick your spots. Luxury type seating for a decent price. Food is pricey, but it's to be expected I suppose. Love coming here.
Aixa H — Google review
Reclining and heated seats. Pay for your concessions ahead of time and there’s no waiting in line! Theaters are clean and comfy. Definitely a better choice than the Palladium!
Kristin H — Google review
I recently visited the theater to watch Sinners. While I was excited to see the film again, the experience was disappointing due to how dark the projection was. This was my second time watching the movie but my first time at this particular theater. From the previews to the main feature, everything appeared dim, so much so that it was hard to see what was happening on screen. The issue became especially noticeable during night scenes or when darker-skinned actors were on screen—they were nearly invisible. In contrast, white actors were much more visible, highlighting just how poorly the film was lit during playback. It’s frustrating to have spent nearly $50 on two adult tickets and popcorn only to have the film shown in such poor quality. Ryan Coogler would be disappointed by how this presentation failed to honor the work and frankly, so am I.
