The Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport is a captivating indoor-outdoor destination, boasting an extensive collection of restored public transit vehicles and historical artifacts. As the oldest and largest mass transit museum in the country, it offers a fascinating journey through transportation history. Visitors can explore historic trolley cars, rapid transit trains, trolley buses, and motor buses while taking a 25-minute trolley ride.
A great experience! We had a nice time on the trolley ride to the pumpkin patch. It was interesting to learn about the trolley we were on and get to experience riding in an antique trolley car. The museum itself has an amazing array of antique trolley cars to explore. I am obsessed with the model train building. They worked very hard on it and I could have easily spent hours in there. Overall the museum is a great experience, and a necessity to preserving the history of trolleys. I will definitely go back to experience it again!
Sabrina M — Google review
We were visiting from out of town and my 9 year old son who is a train enthusiast heard about this place from a local, so we decided to give it a go. The history here that you can touch and learn about is amazing. We rode the trolley to the park and back and them explored the trolley sheds. They have some very unique pieces at this location. Afterward we went in and toured the museum and gift shop. They also had a very nice large model railroad in one of the other buildings. All in all we spent about 2hrs here and could easily have spent more. There is an entrance fee, but you get to do everything off the one ticket. Parking was pretty easy when we were there, but they do have overflow lots so they may get much busier during certain days/times. Worth the visit if you are interested in the history of the local area or are just into trains and trolleys!
Sam M — Google review
Excellent museum, rideable trains are super fun. Being able to stand on the observation deck of the machine shop was delightful. I loved seeing the progress of the restoration projects. The miniature train display is a work of art, and still in progress. I was pleasantly surprised with the collection of busses available for exploration as well. I look forward to seeing the plans for that exhibit. The staff are knowledgeable, funny, and kind. I sincerely hope the museum continues expanding, it's a historical hidden gem of the northeast.
Kelly H — Google review
Quite the place! Had a wonderful time on two refurbished train cars that were over 100 years old. We enjoyed two 40 min rides around the property and into the woods. The conductors on board talk a little bit of the history of the cars in about different historic places you can see at the museum. There is one building where they physically work on and refurb the cars, and there’s other building where they just store old train cars. Majority of the cars that are in the storage shed areas you can walk in and get a feel for them, there was some that were also double-decker buses! Old and rustic. There’s other junkyards that have old school cata buses, along with old T lines, ex. Red and Blue line. Also go and check out the model railway trains building that’s across the parking lot from the main museum entrance. It’s all volunteer service, folks will bringing their trains in and run them around all the tracks. Quite a fun place if you like really old train models, and even take a ride on some of the oldest railway cars! It’s amazing how they remodel and keep them in good shape, and they even run off of just electric! FYI for the train rides, you need to purchase tickets for the ride, but one ticket is good for as many train rides as you want. The train rides are 40 minutes long, And every train ride goes off every 45 minutes. Come and enjoy a few hours at this cute little train museum. A fun family activity. Enjoy all the photos and videos I took and posted here!
Mike P — Google review
Super cute museum, pretty small. The train ticket is $15 per head for a half an hour drive. The train is 120 years old! The gift shop is has some cute items as well. We got to ride the pump car as well!! I was looking forward to rail biking but they have this closed it.

Wonderful jewel of a place. I've been taking groups here for 17 years, the experience is always pleasant. Everyone is helpful, kind, knowledgeable and professional. It's a chance to go back in time. The museum is well maintained with plenty to do and discover. Going on the trolley ride never gets old. Fun for all ages and the museum gift shop and new diorama exhibit are a delight as well. Featured are the residents of the Wardwell in Saco. We were there today and had a great visit.
Amber J — Google review
Nice place for the family to go to,a lot of history about the old trolley systems in Boston and in New Hampshire. Also, an HO model Railroad club has a huge model. Railroad layout replicating the white mountains in North Conway down to the sea coast.

Churches & Cathedrals
St. Ann's by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, located in Kennebunkport, is a historic stone chapel that has been serving the community since 1887. The church was built using stones washed onto the shore and features stunning stained glass windows, an impressive organ, and beautiful gardens. It offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and welcomes visitors from all over to admire its Gothic-influenced design.
Since we were in this area, we thought it might be a quick stop. Wrong. We were here for about an hour. The views are breathtakingly beautiful on the outside. Then you walk in and wow. Beautiful stained glass windows all around, and just the history of the church is amazing.
Gail W — Google review
I'm so glad we stopped to see this amazing church! From the stained glass windows to the woodwork and the sea rock foundation and walls...it left me breathless. I loved every inch of it. I hope someday to be lucky enough to return and be able to take in a service. JUST WOW!
Darcy M — Google review
Such a beautiful old stone church with the most wonderful stained glass windows! Im so glad it was open to explore. This is also a beautiful spot to take in the ocean with many sailboats passing by. It only takes 10-15 minutes but its worth seeing.

Beautiful church by the ocean Has benches on the grounds to sit at and take in the surroundings
Dawn M — Google review
This is a gorgeous church and there's an outdoor area right at the edge of the cliff where a sermon or worship is given so awesome.
Melissa S — Google review
The location is gorgeous, the building is beautiful, stained glass inspirational and the construction interesting. I'm so glad we stopped.
Mindy — Google review
I met Reggies yesterday, a caretaker of the church and grounds. We had a lovely conversation and I learned a lot about the church history. When I left Reggie gave me a photo he took of the church that was hanging in the entry way, he took the photo at sunrise several years ago and he wanted me to have it. Such a lovely man. I will be back to visit in April. Beautiful church, Reggies personality and gift of chat is an asset to this place of worship.

Beautiful church, locals recommended it! Although it closes early, there are benches close to it overlooking the beach that make for a gorgeous sunset spot!

Outdoor Activities
Gooch's Beach in Kennebunk, Maine is a family-friendly destination with wide, soft sand and gentle waters perfect for swimming and kayaking. It offers opportunities for activities like surfing, skimboarding, and beachcombing for sand dollars. The beach is popular among visitors due to its golden sands and access to various water sports. Gooch's Beach also provides stunning sunset views from the adjoining promenade.
Fabulous! Dog friendly, small and popular with the surfers. There are port o lets on one end of the beach, it has several stair access points as well as a ramp for ease of access for those with mobility issues. We brought our small dog and everyone we met on the beach was friendly and kind.
Amanda M — Google review
Tide was out in late afternoon on the first Hot day of the summer. Seaweed calmed down at low tide and the water was tolerable in late June. The name of the beach will make some giggle, and others roll their eyes. Overall, a good experience. Next time it's summer and I'm in Maine, this will be a stop.
Keyser S — Google review
Beautiful and clean beach. We're from out west and our first time visiting. The weather was perfect and the waves were becoming a little wicked from the hurricane further down near the Carolinas. Fun place to collect some shells and enjoy the scenery. We'll definitely be back!
Lisa P — Google review
We really enjoyed our visit to Gooch’s Beach! Even though Kennebunkport was quite busy, the beach itself felt open and peaceful enough to enjoy a nice walk and take in the scenery. The long stretch of sand and rocky coastline make it a perfect spot for strolling, taking photos, or just relaxing by the ocean. The views are beautiful, especially the charming houses along the shore. Parking can be a bit limited in peak season, but it’s worth it once you’re there. It’s a great place to unwind and experience Maine’s stunning coastline — we loved it and would definitely come back!
Peter S — Google review
What a beautiful beach 🏖️! Now I see 🙈 why there are two Google Maps listings! This listing has a set of stairs as well as the other listing. This is more of one 🔚 end of Gooch's Beach ⛱️. The beach was named after Jedediah Gooch who purchased the 20 acre peninsula which included the beach in the 1750's. It still retains the same name 📛 after all this time. It was a pleasant walk from end 🔚 to end. Even my son liked it. Parking 🅿️ is through an app or meter but you may need a permit as well from the town hall June 15th through September 15th.
Stephen P — Google review
Cold, windy, and gray. Exactly what I expected from New England in July! For real though, a very nice, clean, and not crowded beach.
Greg C — Google review
Gooch’s Beach is a beautiful and peaceful spot, especially in October when it’s far less crowded. The ocean views are stunning, the sand is soft, and the large rock ledge creates a striking focal point that really sets this beach apart. It’s the kind of place where you can take a long, relaxing walk, listen to the waves roll in, and just breathe in that fresh Maine coastal air. The only reason this isn’t a full five-star review is the lack of public restrooms. It’s something to keep in mind if you’re planning to spend any amount of time here. That said, it’s still a lovely place to visit. This stretch of coastline has long been a favorite gathering spot for locals and visitors alike, with roots tracing back to Kennebunk’s early days as a bustling shipbuilding town. The beach perfectly captures that classic New England charm — quiet, scenic, and timeless.
Amber M — Google review
Very big during low tide but during high tide the whole beach almost disappears. The kids had a blast, it was clean and everyone there was friendly. Parking was a little on the expensive side but can't have it all.

Lighthouses
Goat Island Lighthouse, located off Cape Porpoise, is a well-known tourist attraction in New England. Built in 1833, it served as a beacon for mariners and even functioned as a watchtower for Secret Service agents during President George H.W. Bush's term. Accessible by boat in the summer, this active lighthouse offers scenic views and a glimpse of the Bush family's Walkers Point estate from its top.
The lighthouse is out in the harbor. You can see it from the shore. Many lobster boats off the coast a tiny restaurant for a quick bite after your done viewing the light house. Parking is very limited.
Angela M — Google review
Goat Island , the lighthouse and its keepers are truly special. It is owned and managed by the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust and only accessible by boat/kayak and tide (high) dependent. Once on the island we were greeted by the nicest people and allowed to tour the island, the lighthouse and its tower. One of the best, if not the best lighthouse in Maine!
E G — Google review
Goat island lighthouse was across the water but you can still see it, with breathtaking views of the boats going about their business as usual. A must see! There are restaurants on the property for lunch and dinner!
Kristie — Google review
Last day of summer but there was no boat running. Viewed the lighthouse from afar. I wouldn’t go out of your way to drive here, unless you are sure you’re making the crossing!
Dani D — Google review
I didn't, yet, visit Goat 🐐 Island 🏝️ Lighthouse but I did get to see 🙈 it from a short distance while on the New England Eco Adventures Tour out of Kennebunkport. It was active with people and I was told you can visit with small crafts, especially 🛶 canoes or paddleboards, or when the tide 🌊 is low. Scenic little island 🏝️. I'm glad the tour I was on visited this lighthouse.

Beautiful small island with historic lighthouse off the coast of Kennebunkport, Maine. The only way to get there is by boat. We enjoy kayaking there with a picnic lunch

Embark on a classic New England adventure with Rugosa Lobster Tours, where visitors can board a vintage lobster boat for a 1.5-hour tour along the scenic Kennebunk River. As the expert crew hauls in lobster traps, guests can relax and take in the picturesque coastline or even join in on the action themselves.
This was a terrific tour! it was a great way to learn about lobstering and have family time and relax. My husband and I took our grandchildren and they loved it! So did we. You also get a good view of the main coast and beaches and the Walker Bush family compound. I would recommend it to anyone you don’t have to love fishing to enjoy it. It is a great tour for anyone.!
Jane S — Google review
We had a delightful time. The crew were very responsive to our interests and queries. Left tour very knowledgeable about lobsters and the industry. The ride out in the bay and then up the river gave us a feel for Kennebunkport including Walker point. Highly recommend. Gary and Linda from Michigan
Linda V — Google review
We had a great time on the Rugosa Lobster tour! It was definitely one of everyone’s favorite things we did on our family Vacation. It was very educational, entertaining, and we loved how much they included the kiddos! Matt and Mark did an excellent job and we have a much bigger appreciation of lobstering. Getting to see Walker’s point was a nice bonus!
Brandi U — Google review
This is a specific catch and release educational boat. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the time with Rugosa! It was a relaxing morning and very informative. We learned a great deal about the lobster industry and lobster biology as well! Even though, as with any hunting and fishing activity, there are limits to size and quantity that can be harvested this industry is also somewhat self policing to protect harvesting territories and the largest best reproducers in order to sustain the industry. Once again, these guys did a fantastic job!
Bob G — Google review
We had a great tour! The water was a little rough. Captain Mike and Jim went out of the way make sure we were comfortable. They were both remarkable with their depth of knowledge and were exceptional in their presentation. Our group was thoroughly entertained and left the tour with a greater understanding and appreciation the lobster-men of Maine!
David F — Google review
We had a wonderful trip on the Lobster Tour with the Rugosa! The captain and Mark were full of knowledge (having a biology teacher as a guide was a huge bonus!) and my two young kids absolutely loved it, and are still talking about it.
Shayla Z — Google review
Took the Rugosa Lobster Tour in Kennebunkport and it was absolutely amazing. I never realized there was so much to learn about lobsters—who knew there was something called a soft-shell lobster?! The crew was super knowledgeable and seemed genuinely excited to share all the weird and wonderful lobster facts. The boat is classic, the views are beautiful, and the hands-on parts (checking out traps, holding a lobster) really make it special. If you're visiting Maine and want more than just lobster rolls, this tour is a must.
Charles M — Google review
This was a fun and educational tour! The guides were knowledgeable, funny and took great care of us. Having lived in New England for many years, I thought I knew all there was to know about the lobster fishing industry. Well I didn’t! My senior parents from North Carolina loved it too! I highly recommend Rugosa!

Whale watching tour agency
New England EcoAdventures in Kennebunkport offers an unforgettable whale watching experience. Guests have raved about the opportunity to see a juvenile humpback multiple times, including breaching, and visiting Boon Island to observe seals. The knowledgeable and entertaining Captain Gary and first mate Debbie provide interesting facts throughout the trip. The RIB boat is fast, stable, and provides an exhilarating ride with high-speed maneuvers that guests liken to a roller coaster.
We booked a whale watching tour for Saturday August 16th, and unfortunately when we typed in the address on our GPS, it took us to Biddeford and not Kennebunk. We were devastated as the whale watching tour was going to be the highlight of our vacation. After some emails with the owner, he graciously rebooked us for Tuesday August 19th and we were able to have one of the coolest experiences we have ever had. I will never forget seeing the Humpback Whale breach out of the water for the first time or the adorable seals off of Boon Island. If it wasn’t for the understanding and kindness of this company, we would not have gotten an experience of a lifetime. I cannot recommend them enough!!!!!!!!
Jessica P — Google review
Pictures are worth a thousand words. Capt Chris and Neil are the best! They are extremely knowledgeable! Capt Chris literally smelled out a mom and her calf. His brought us near and as you can see the hump back did the rest. I HIGHLY recommend New England EcoAdventures!!!!!
Julie K — Google review
Captain Gary and mate Wes were excellent tour guides for our whale watching excursion. They showed us the seals and were able to find multiple humpback whales and a couple pods of dolphins and porpoises. They were very knowledgeable of the animals, their locations and the history of the area. 10 out of 10 would go back! Thanks Gary and Wes!
Elizabeth M — Google review
Capt Jack and David were awesome!!! We had the most amazing tour on Sept 29, 2025. We saw a total of 5 whales - 2 were together at 2 different times. David was very informative about the whales we saw and Boone Island. Capt Jack gave us the best boat ride. I would highly recommend using them! I hope your experience will be just as great as ours especially since they can’t guarantee you will see a whale.
Rhonda G — Google review
Had an amazing time on the 9 am Ultimate Whale Watch tour with Captain Gary! We saw Boon Island, tons of seals, white sided dolphins, a sunfish and finback whales! I will say make sure to wear lots of sunscreen as we were burnt pretty bad and bring a jacket! It was a 91° F day but I was still super cold!! Thank you Eco Adventures for an amazing time!
Ashley T — Google review
Had an amazing experience! The ride was wonderful all the way through, and David shared such great information that made it even more special. It was lovely doing the whale watching tour with Ecoadventures—it truly felt memorable listening to David’s stories and the way he patiently answered all our questions. I would love to visit again and go on another whale watching tour. Absolutely loved it! ❤️❤️
Sowmya A — Google review
Great small boat experience. There was a captain and a Marine specialist on board that could answer any question and give great insights into the whale s and their activities. We saw 5 whales, breaching, tail flipping and pectoral fins slapping their water. The boat allows the captain to get right to a whale when one is spotted. Great trip!

Middle Beach, aptly named for its location between Mother's and Gooch's Beach, is a rocky but stunning spot to soak up the sun and take in the views. While it may not have sandy shores like its neighbors, it offers a unique change of pace with fewer crowds. The ocean and singing stones create a beautiful backdrop, making it an interesting variation from traditional sandy beaches. Although facilities are limited, this beach provides a serene setting for a day or even a week-long getaway.

Small beach area. Rocky/pebbly with lots of seaweed. Good beach for dogs. Any day outdoors is a good day, but this is probably not the most optimal beach for swimmers and sunbathers.

It was nice for a walk with my son along the sidewalk. The small beaches that are there are covered in rocks. Parking is unavailable during the summer. Residental sticker required but I also saw an advertisement for parking 🅿️ through the Passport 🛂 parking app. Someone said they thought they saw a loon so I guess it would be a good beach bird watching.

Beautiful place. Great place to bring dogs. No leashes required,at least the "dogs must be on leashes" definitely not enforced. The beach sign says closes at 6 but I counted 50 dogs at 5:30 and a huge influx coming of dogs at 6pm

We were really impressed with this cute little town museum. It has plenty interesting artifacts and artworks, as well as a ton of info on the history of the town and Maine in general. The minke whale skeleton is really cool. There is some interactivity, snd plenty of hands on activities for kids. The Lego exhibition is small but really good. And the $5 adult entrance fee is an absolute steal. Highly recommended.

The Brick Store Museum in Kennebunk is a hidden gem that blends history, imagination, and hands-on creativity. We were blown away by the LEGO art exhibit—ingenious designs that sparked curiosity and joy for all ages. The undersea theme was especially captivating, with vibrant displays that felt both educational and magical. It’s rare to find a museum that balances local heritage with such playful innovation. The staff was friendly, the space was welcoming, and the exhibits were thoughtfully curated.

The Maine Classic Car Museum, located in Arundel, Maine, is a must-visit for car enthusiasts and history lovers. With over 50 classic cars on display, dating from the early 20th century to the present day, this museum offers a fascinating journey through automotive history. Housed in a meticulously designed 16,000 square foot facility near Kennebunkport, the museum provides an impressive showcase for its collection.
My husband and I shared our beautiful wedding with our loved ones at the museum this past weekend! Gene the owner and event coordinator was absolutely wonderful to work with and made sure every last detail was perfect for our day! I couldn’t have done it without him since I planned our wedding myself! The day was perfect and I couldn’t have imagined it any other way than to have had it exactly where we were! Thank you so much! Can’t wait to come back for our anniversaries! HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO VISIT IF YOU LOVE CARS like we do 🙏🏼

Decided to actually write a review to go with my pictures, and I'll say, this place is amazing. I was on vacation in Old Orchard Beach, so it was a little bit of a drive, but the drive was worth it. I'm pretty sure that they switch around the layout and displays every now and then, just going off of the pictures of other reviews. Overall though, the place was great, and I enjoyed my time here.
Chase C — Google review
Such great staff and a bonus surprise for my son Zane and I a Delorean we could sit in 🎉 A nice collection of vehicles and plenty of parking. I liked the little lunch area they have set up outside.
Tammy W — Google review
I could tell this place would be nice, but this collection is truly INCREDIBLE. Some of these are cars you’ve read about, but never seen. Many are so rare they are one of a few hundred ever made, and then one of only five with these features! Cars are in top condition, with great explainers in front of each. I won’t spoil it all for you; go and see what it’s like. Walk around and pick the one you’d drive home if you could. It’s almost like Babette’s Feast for cars. Just as her guests slowly realize what she has prepared and served, you’ll do the same as you explore this museum. Enjoy!

Great collection of classic cars, a variety of makes and models. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have frequent events, I recommend checking them out.

Nice collection of cars. Be sure to use the Groupon. The gentleman at the counter, Lionel(?) was very friendly. I enjoyed talking with him.
Karl R — Google review
Excellent historical vehicles are on display. Message boards include the vehicles history. Staff was very nice.
Scott B — Google review
A delightful experience. They had some incredible cars in very good condition; containing both domestic and foreign vehicles, mostly from the 30's-70's. They do rotate their collection. The staff at the museum were knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.

Public beach
Parson's Beach is a pretty and secluded spot, slightly off the beaten path. Most of the beach is private, but there's a small public area at the end of the road with limited parking. The beach wraps around to a calm inlet, offering scenic views and tranquility away from the crashing waves. It's recommended to visit on weekdays or early weekends due to limited parking.
Gorgeous beach at the end of a short walk. 0.6 miles of flat well maintained trail. Definitely worth the walk!
Allison M — Google review
Nice beach with limited parking unless your in the mood for a decent walk. The benefit is it's not very crowded on nice days. I go here to fish mostly, the river outlet is a good spot. It's a little rocky in spots. It's Maine though, so that's to be expected, haha.
Maine H — Google review
We went in the evening so there were not a lot of people there. It was a very peaceful walk on the beach
Jennifer D — Google review
Beautiful, clean, was there as tide was going out. Great walking beach. Free, dogs allowed (on leash during Plove nesting season). Parking was a nightmare. Only about 6 slots. So that means about 1/3+ mile walk.
Terese K — Google review
Secluded, peaceful, scenic, awesome beach. If you are in Kennebunk, don't miss it! A walk along the beach here shows "how the rich people live"... I'm just saying...There are only a few parking spots near the entrance, so I suggest going on a weekday or else very early on a weekend to get a spot... it'll be worth your effort, I promise!
Nancy P — Google review
Nice quiet beach but extremely limited parking. Most of it is privately owned but respectful use by the public is permitted.
Carl C — Google review
Its a nice free place to visit, the parking is usually full, very little parking... it's pretty wild and real nature.. id of liked to fish there , but was not lucky enuff to get a parking space ..

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent tour of Kennebunkport and surrounding area. Ed was our experienced tour guide and was a great host. He is very knowledgeable and a great communicator. Ed told us the history of the area, gave us many interesting facts and gave us a good insight as to what life is like in the region. We highly recommend this tour.

Enjoyed the 60 minute tour of Kennebunk/Kennebunkport. The guide was friendly, humorous, and knowledgeable. The pickup point was right outside the property where we were staying. The rate was reasonable. I recommend the tour to anyone unfamiliar with the area.

We cannot recommend Intown Trolley enough for wedding transportation. Their service was absolutely seamless and stress-free, which is what every couple needs on their wedding day! From the initial booking to the final drop-off, communication was excellent. The trolley itself was beautiful, clean, and served as the most fun and sweet way to transport our guests through quaint Kennebunkport. Colony Beach is a picturesque spot located within walking distance of Kennebunkport, offering a serene setting along the Kennebunk River. The beach features a rocky shoreline and provides opportunities to observe shorebirds and butterflies. Visitors can enjoy leisurely walks along the large seawall, fishing, and watching boats enter and exit the harbor. With its tidy surroundings and clean water, Colony Beach offers a peaceful escape for both locals and tourists.
Quiet & small but fascinating to explore! Small, but, free 🆓 parking area. Large seawall to walk and go fishing 🎣. You have to walk across perfectly round rocks to get to the sand. Very tidy, no pun intended! You can watch the boats slowly enter and exit the harbor. Pets must be leashed. Water 💦 looked so clean! You are right near one end of Parson's Way, a sidewalk trail that goes along the coast. I walked part of it and it was enjoyable. I don't know if the other seawall across the harbor is part of Colony Beach. I recommend this beach 🏖️. I did see 🙈 a wedding 💒 at a local hotel. Congratulations!

Free parking ,free small beach, it was foggy this evening, but great place to see boats go by up close..found sea glass, blue lobster claw, normally very sandy, but last storm brought in sea weed, and rocks..great fishing spots of there jetty. Definitely going back..swimming Nice kind folks.. allmost caught 2 fish with one clam. .

The Kennebunkport Historic District is a charming village center with the highest concentration of historic buildings dating back to the 1700s. Visitors can take a walking tour to learn about the area's fascinating stories and enjoy views, shopping, and dining. The well-preserved colonial architecture adds to its allure, making it a great place for passive entertainment and gatherings. During warmer seasons, it transforms into a bustling fishing, boutique, brewing, and tourist town offering delicious seafood and comfort food.
Fantastic location! This is one of the most visited village in New England and rightly so. It is beautiful and obviously packed with tourist in summer. We really enjoyed coming here. The village itself has a lot of shops, boutiques, restaurants. Highly recommended!!!
Paul V — Google review
This is a beautiful town center with a lot of charm and port architecture. It's a quiet place during the winter and has short weeks with restaurants. During the warmer season it becomes a busy fishing, boutique, brewing and tourist town. Seafood, sandwiches and comfort food for food establishments; oh, sprinkle in a little French. Enjoy your stay.

For a day or a weekend, Kennebunkport is the perfect place to relax, refresh, and wander. Absolutely wonderful!
Linda H — Google review
Kennebunkport Historic District is a beautiful well preserved little town in size but huge in heritage and history. You can also find fantastic food, and exquisite colonial well preserved architecture. Off the coast line, with a small drive it provides great passive entertainment and people gathering. Hope you and your family will enjoy as much as we did.

Lindie L — Google review
Definitely worth the drive from Portland. I honestly wasn’t sure if this would be worth the time, but it was. Very quaint kind of “village.” A little out of the way, but I’d make time to return when I’m in the area. The “historic district” is basically just a small collection of older buildings, but the town itself is wonderful.
