I loved this museum. Lots to see , well set out and so interesting. Friendly and helpful staff. One of the best museums I’ve visited and there has been a lot of them ! So much to learn about the history of Great Yarmouth. A real gem. Highly recommended.

A very good museum covering a lot of history with varied exhibits. Using the building to tell the story of the Herring industry is unique and interesting. Pleasant staff, decent gift shop and easy to park. Well priced and recommended 👌

What a Fantastic Place to explore cheap entrance fee and very very imformative plenty of artifacts to see and a lot of imformation at hand to read and find out about the time>Theres even a smokey smell as you go round reminding you of smoking haddock.Time moves forward as you go around untill you arrive at the 60s and 70s part which brings back so many memories of my childhood absolutley worh a visit and could easily spend 2-3 hours here.Finished off with a drink and snack in the tea room very nice.

Great little museum about local life and history. Some paintings aswell. Recommend for lovers of the area and local history.

Outstanding museum. Excellent exhibits ranging from Anglo Saxon England to the present day. Lots to see and could easily spend many hours here. The sound on one of the videos downstairs seemed to be broken, but this didn’t detract from the overall experience. Highly recommended.

Ignore what it says online as its says to be there for the time you booked but getting there you get a stamp and are told you can come and go as you please! So this is great if you wanna hear all the talks or go in and out and get a coffee. Place needs a damn good clean!!! But other than that still nice to look around! The talks and feedings were great too!

My son had a lovely time touching the starfish and little waterfall, and loved the sharks. Staff were understanding of his autism and that was much appreciated, cool octopus there too! Going to take him to see the penguins next time. Prices were better too off season, only £16 pp, and a free ticket for a carer if you're on PIP, so saved £16 too. Overall good activity for kids and adults alike, but the gift shop is very expensive! Avoid at all costs if possible haha! Only a stone's throw away from places to get food and drink too, and right on the sea front, bowling alley on the nearby Wellington Pier and arcades also. Very well situated, also close to Pleasure Beach. I'd recommend it to anyone with kids.

Walk through tunnel was lovely, good for the kids to see the animals well. In the room with yellow submarine, you were about to previously purchase food and feed the fish. There was a crocodile which you don't always see at sealife centres. Option to touch a starfish too. Nice as you could pay a little extra and it got you entry to the Giant Wheel too! Gift shop is very large, took kids a long time to pick something.

Not as big as other Sealife Centre s but still plenty to see and do. The café was reasonably priced and the bathroom facilities were very clean. Ample room to change the baby.

Highly recommended to book ticket online since it has discount for blue light card or student etc. The ticket allowed you to go in and out for a day multiple times. Although I must say this aquarium is not as big as others we had been like London, Newquay, Weymouth and Birmingham. Having said that we enjoyed the tunnel watching, penguin, fresh water fish, amphibians and experience on touching star fish.

Our first visit to Great Yarmouth and to the Sea Life Centre been to Blackpool one years ago.This was a different set up bit smaller but nicely set out with Real Penguins talks were imformative and interesting Tanks clean and tidy enjoyable experience cafe clean and plenty of room with clean toilets.Can re-enter after you have left which is a bonus and makes it good value

A great experience for our family, our children (3 y/o & 5 months old) really enjoyed seeing all the animals and creatures. Very informative and a great variety of animals to look for and learn about. A highlight of ours being the underwater ocean tunnel, this was a great feature! Gift shop is stocked really well with plenty of choice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. One of the big downsides is it being small, we were done in an hour and that was us dragging out the visit somewhat.

Came today. we paid for a card on entry. Easy to use, and you can top up/check balance in lots of places in the park. Most rides are for young kids, nothing too extreme. The wooden roller coaster and monorail were good. Staff seemed friendly, especially the lady at the entrance. Excellent customer service 👍

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an amazing day at Great Yarmouth Beach – perfect for a fun family outing! The soft sand and lovely sea made it such a relaxing experience. It wasn’t too busy, which was a nice surprise, and the atmosphere was great. We enjoyed some fresh fish and chips by the sea – absolutely delicious and full of flavour! The only downside was the number of seagulls (they really love the chips!), but it didn’t spoil the day. All in all, a fantastic spot for some seaside fun. Highly recommended!

We visited here on a Wednesday evening, for the late opening hours, in late July and arrived at half five, meaning we could take advantage of the late evening wristband pricing (£17 for 5 until 9:30). There are also fun cards at £5 or £10 which offer 5 or 10 ride credits and can be topped up inside the park. However suspect the latter are a false economy if you have more than 2 or 3 rides - especially in the evening, as most main rides are 4 or 5 credits. There was a fair size of queue to the ticket booth but it moved quickly and probably only took 5 to 10 minutes to get to the entrance. There is a good range of flat rides and four coasters, with all costers being aimed at family-friendly. The wooden roller coaster is the oldest in the UK and has a brake man riding on the train. While not the smoothest or comfiest ride, it is good to ride a bit of history. The remaining three are Family Star, a short spinning wild mouse and two small kiddy coasters. The flat rides are good variety, with spinning and drops and also a gyro swing. What struck us was that the park was relatively quiet for school holiday season and queues were short. The ride throughput would be increased further if the very slow wristband scanning was not performed - not really sure why this is needed as takes a got 10 seconds to read each one, based on our experience. Food offerings are OK - there is a large hot food stall that does hotdogs (not so good), burgers (better) and loaded fries (decent) amongst other offerings. All in all, worth a visit even in peak summer as really never felt busy and plenty of ride opportunities.

Went as a family. You can get 5 credits to get in and use on one ride if going with a group of kids. The food hall and bar are great. The rides make it more like a smaller fair rather than a pleasure beach like Blackpool but still great.

A Fantastic Day Out at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach! We had an amazing time at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach! There’s a perfect mix of classic rides, family-friendly attractions, and thrill-seeking roller coasters. The historic wooden roller coaster is an absolute must-try – a true blast from the past! The park was clean, well-organised, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the day. Entry with the wristband is great value for money, especially if you’re planning to go on lots of rides. It’s also right by the beach, so we could enjoy the rides and then relax with some fish and chips on the seafront. Plenty of food options, clean toilets, and seating areas made it comfortable for families. Whether you’re visiting with kids, friends, or as a couple, it’s a great spot for some good old-fashioned fun. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be back next summer!

I couldn't really find anything to fault here yesterday with three bored kids. Despite it being a Peak Season Sunday all the queues were very short, just a couple of minutes. A little longer for the big coaster but even that was less than ten minutes. Every ride looked to be well staffed, no litter in sight. The guy manning the Dodgems literally couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, he gave the impression he genuinely wanted to be there. Over the course of the day my lads went on about thirty(!) rides each, so they got superb value from their 'all rides' wristbands. The only thing I could ask was for some concessions for Blue Light card holders, other than that, an easy five stars!

So its the end of summer,the rain is biblical, but Great Yarmouth still saved a little magic for us. Rainbows over the beach. Oh, and a cheeky ice cream. The great British summer delivers.

If you're looking for a delightful, condensed glimpse into English life and landscapes, model villages are a perfect choice. They're incredibly charming and are sure to bring back a sense of nostalgia. I highly recommend checking them out as they never disappoint 😆😁😭

Great to visit this place my wife loves Model Villages so we always pop into one when we are near one We live near here so always worth a yearly visit. The place is great well maintained some nice models and the gardens and plants here are well looked after as well. If your local and have a NR postcode they offer discount of 25% I did not know this but luckily i always carry my driving license so got some discount which is always an advantage.

Beautiful place to spend an hour or two. It is very well kept, the gardens are lovely and the exhibits are regularly updated. The tea rooms and arcade at the end are also well worth a visit. It is also fairly priced.

No queuing, staff our very friendly and helpful also has a little mini golf including. Very gd for all ages,can fit pram or wheelchairs around fine

Great place, was very well maintained and the models and figures are really good with a sense of humour as well. Golf included 9 holes which was good, went back in the evening to see it with lights om and watch fireworks. Perfect for all ages!

£12 for an adult ticket and £9 for senior citizens. Worth every penny. Had a lovely peaceful stroll around the miniature village. Very clean and well kept. Many thanks

First Visit here one of the better ones we have visited around the country all the housed and figures looked really good and a lot of humour went into this village included ducks and a fish pond crazy golf included and return visit for next 7 days also the retro penny arcade was brilliant bought back so many memmories of younger years went for a return visit a couple of days later

Really lovely beach. We visited with 2 little kids and had an amazing time! Easy (free) parking on the street running alongside the coastline, easy walk down to the beach. Miles of sand, a lot of it dry and comfy to sit on, then some sections of pebbles, and as the sea goes out, more lovely sand. The beach was clean, though we did find a few bits of litter to pick up on our way out. We were there on a hot sunny day in late July, and it wasn't overly busy, loads of space to spread out and play. We arrived at 10am, and parked easily, though I suspect we'd have been a street or so further back if arriving around midday or later. No dogs on the beach (it may be that they're allowed outside of summer though?), so its safe for kids to play without fear of stepping in anything, or being knocked down by racing dogs. There's a lifeguard station, watching an area for swimming between flags, a splash pad (opens at 10am, kids loved it!), and a large pond for model boats. Adjacent to the beach, there are public toilets (near the Pier Hotel), and while a little smelly, they were fine for beachside public toilets. Outside these there are also 2 taps for rinsing feet etc. Overlooking the beach there is an arcade, an ice cream parlour (absolutely amazing!!) and a chip shop/cafe (chips were good). We also visited 2 days prior when it was raining, and had lunch in the storm house cafe (food sensibly priced and decent, nothing fancy but an easy place to stop in). The rain stopped, and we wandered the beach, toddler throwing stones at the waves, and playing in the drier sand. We had the beach to ourselves as far as we could see! I really don't think I can praise it enough, we had a great time and will be back! It's much more sedate than somewhere like Yarmouth, so if you're looking to avoid huge crowds and masses of people packed onto the beach, it's a superb place to go.

Superb beach and surroundings. Loads of stuff to do, from walking, sun bathing or even staying with your little one at the splash zone. Great choice of restaurants and bars to enjoy throughout the area. Loads of parking available at the pier parking. The beach is very sandy, however when getting closer to the water-line it gets a bit rocky and has loads of pebbles and stones. If you are a bit more sensitive when walking on rocky/pebbles, definitely recommend getting some water shoes. Water is quite wavy but at the same time it is lovely. It is a bit cold, even when outside there's 26 degrees for 2 straight days.

Great beach, miles of sand to walk and play on. Always busy. Walk on the prom plenty of benches to sit on and places to eat and drink. Worth a visit.

Wonderful place to sunbathe, enjoy a refreshing swim as the water doesn't retreat as much compared to other beaches. Really great spot since it's close to many restaurants, pubs, shops, parking, etc. The water is very clean, a bit cold even when temps are above 25 degrees on full sunny days. The overall beach is amazing, it's very sandy, however it is very rocky and has a lot of small stones/ pebbles closer to the water.

Gorleston-on-Sea is a really beautiful place. The beach is wide, clean, and never feels too crowded. The views are stunning, especially on a sunny day, and the promenade is perfect for walking or sitting with an ice cream. There are lovely cafés and fish and chip shops nearby, and parking is easy. The atmosphere is calm and friendly — perfect for families, couples, or anyone who wants a peaceful seaside day. One of the nicest spots on the Norfolk coast — always worth the visit.

I heard that this beach is quite quiet compared to the other beaches in Great Yarmouth so we decided to give it a try as we wanted to take our young toddlers to the beach for the first time. Really lovely beach and has a few shops and cafes spotted around, however we were there quite early on a Monday so not sure if more open later on / over the weekend. We also managed to find the Banksy art piece which was a nice surprise! Always wanted to see a Banksy art piece up close! Also there is another art piece that is dedicated to the film ‘Yesterday’ which I saw a few years back and had no idea that the end scene was shot here which was pretty cool to see being a film geek. There’s loads of car park choices and we choose the Pier parking which is £3 for 2 hours and can be sorted using the internet / QR code, so if you’re out and about and want more time you can just extend the time if needs be. Overall great beach if you’re looking for somewhere ‘less hectic’ seaside wise.

Excellent show. Best Circus I've seen. Brilliant talented performers. Highly recommend. Children 2-8yrs engrossed throughout. A reason to return to Great Yarmouth.

Enjoyed the Pirate Show a couple of years ago, so went back to the Spooktacular. Brilliant. Cleverly written and performed. Acts were easy to watch and the usual Jack and Jonny double-act pitched perfectly, with plenty to amuse kids and adults. Accessable, welcoming, great value, fun, atmospheric, unique, and entertaining way to spend a couple of hours.

What an experience!! Outstanding circus acts, very varied.....and the motorcycles in the 'death cage' sequence was BONKERS!! Great value, suitable for the whole family. I didn't expect the amazing quality!

So fortunate to have this beautiful place right on my doorstep! Photos are from Summer Spectacular and Spooktaular, I love how they have decorated with the globe string lights around the circus! Very reasonable prices (£20 from top ring seats which works out £10 per interval) Love the hippodrome pool! (Yet to visit a Christmas event, as Johnny Mac returns to Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 to visit his family) Love that it’s a family run business and the Jay family have done a fantastic job over these years (1981) The hippodrome was built in 1903 and is definitely a bucket list if visiting Great Yarmouth/ England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Look forward to returning!

Absolutely loved this. Could imagine how it was all. those years ago.. No clowns or animals in the acts, lots of superb acrobatics. Highly recommend a visit, we will be back with the grandchildren for sure. Cafe 1903 was cute too. Had a lovely salad and iced latte.

A must visit if you are in Great Yarmouth. 1 show, 2 halves of 5o minutes with an intermission in-between. Acts are refreshed every 6 months with multiple acts from around the world! A great show for all ages.

Definitely recomend. Wasn't expecting too much, but was nicely surprised. Good show with a bit adult humor . We went back in couple weeks. Amazing !

Been coming here for 40 years, still love it. Snails are still a highlight. It's so small and tightly packed that it's a bit claustrophobic though. Very hard with a wheelchair to get around without bashing into everyone else. That being said, still amazing for the kids.

Really liked Joyland, its not huge but just right for the older kids that can get on by themselves. I do like the token system and like how they give you stickers with your number on it to access your pictures at the end. The time we went wasn't soo busy so was pleasant. Little cramped but otherwise really good, would go again!

We visited on a quiet day and most rides were open. We wanted to see the famous Snails Ride for which Joyland is known for and we was not disappointed. There it was stood in glamour, opened in 1949 and still there to it's day. Joyland is a young children's Amusements park with rides just for them. You pay via tokens and entrance is free. we visited last week, i DID NOT feel the joy guys, We rode the snails, very excited for this, The man operating it was extremely rude. I asked if there was a specific place my daughter should sit & his response was, I don’t know i just work here…snatched the tokens and looked away. Leaving me to scramble into the snail and just figure it out. The vibe was completely off & we left. If you are going to call yourself joyful at least make sure your staff are joyful & care about safety.

Very expensive for what's on offer. Cheaper to go to the pleasure beach for better rides. The rides are old and very short. Seems to be a place of nostalgia. Not worth the money. My 5 year old did enjoy the snails and the tub twister.

Had a really good day here, food prices were very reasonable and the rides, whilst smaller than big theme parks, were really fun. The park itself is well maintained and the staff are super friendly, especially the first aider lady.

Not a bad place, kiddies rides expensive and staff were sparce, but had a decent couple hours, staff were friendly and apologised for us waiting, but wasn't their fault. Worth a visit.

This amusement arcade is huge and has a lot of new machine and old machines there is a downstairs in this arcade and a food place to get food and drinks at the entrance, there is a small ride area at the back of the pier which has a small kids roller coast and dodgems if you love your coin pushers and grab machines this is a good arcade to visit if you are in Great Yarmouth

Took a little stroll through and it looks like a bit of fun. Plus the beach and the beach views are really beautiful.

Really nice Pier with plenty to do. Has a theatre with great shows, funfair at the end of the Pier. Fun pub that is open seasonal. I didn't get to go in here but looked good. There is also a very large Amusement arcade. All staff in there seemed friendly. The view from the Pier was very nice, being able to overlook the sea in one direction and all of the hotels and attractions in another. There is a video from our visit on our youtube channel.

Absolutely beautiful and plenty to do and keep the kids entertained! Just a short walk away from the town where there are ample shops to fulfill any rock requirements. Lots of nice (and reasonably priced) places to eat. Parking close by which was very reasonably priced too (North drive car park £10 for the whole day) Was perfect for a short getaway for me and my family. Highly recommended.

We visit Great Yarmouth every year for my father in laws birthday. It was his 86th this year so we thought we'd go onto the newly refurbished pier. We had a great time on the 2p machines and walked down to the funfair. Lovely atmosphere with so many families of all ages.

A National Trust property, situated close to the waterfront. This particular property has passed through a number of hands, and over the years, it has been quite substantially modified and restructured. It is not one of the grand mansions so often preserved by the National Trust, just the typical residence of a wealthy local merchant. Because of its size, there are only a few staff available, and they mostly work in the shop on the ground floor. There is a short video running on a loop in the first downstairs room, and this offers a good introduction to the property and its various owners. It's worth highlighting that some of the information is factual, but some is based upon local belief with limited documentary evidence. As you go around the property, you get a good sense of how it might have looked during the various stages of occupation. Of particular note is the wood panelling in the different rooms. There are various things added in, such as different initials and numerous carvings. In one room, there is a particularly splendid ceiling of moulded plaster. As others have noted, there was some replica clothing available to try on: even adults occasionally like to play "dress up"! On the upper floors, there were some interesting and informative displays, including a room set-up as a 17th-century birthing room and rather more randomly, a slightly more modern children's play room. An eclectic mix! Amongst the displays in the lower rooms were a number of domestic utilities from the various periods, including tools, utensils, crockery, etc. By the back door into the garden is a very interesting item that most seem to miss; a hand operated pump that would be used to draw water up into the sink. All in all, it is a fascinating look into the past. You should note that there is no parking on site, but there is a pay and display car park a short walk of about 100 metres, a few roads behind the house.

Interesting place to visit at the historic quay area away from seafront crowds. Friendly welcome, free parking nearby, (South quay car park)or some reasonable ones on Ring go app.

Lovely bit of history lies with in Great Yarmouth hidden along river yare. Perfect For hour or two activity. It can be perceived As stepping back in time. Educational too.

Intriguing restoration/recreation of an Elizabethan town house in Great Yarmouth that's also historically important, as important people who visited the house plotted the execution of Charles I. right here, in the so-called "Conspiracy Room". Which is also the most fascinating room in the house and includes a number of interesting artefacts. It's not clear whether Oliver Cromwell ever visited the house himself, but that hardly matters - it's steeped in history as it is. The museum is run by "National Trust", and the entrance price of UKP 6.50 (adult ticket) is totally justified. The volunteer at the information desk was very friendly and helpful. You'll get a glimpse into everyday early 17th to 19th century upper middle class life, too. There's a kitchen, a study room, a bedroom, and more - but it's the "Conspiracy Room" that seals the deal. Plenty of info boards around to make you understand the exhibits better. One of the few historic sights in this town, definitely worth a visit (won't take you more than an hour). You can also relax for a bit in the small back garden.

Good museum in great Yarmouth a building with quite a lot of history over the years, I know it's known as the elizebethen house but most of the stuff inside was from the victoriana era, but still a beautifull house to say the least, few areas needed some repairs but overall was a good visit. Plenty to see but doesn't take that long to get around and if you have a national trust membership it's free.

This review is more on about the arcade aspect of the pier. [Places I haven't been in is the public toilets there which I can't comment on] So on to the review- Variety- this arcade out all I have visited in great yarmouth. Is probably the best due to the sheer Variety in the actual arcade as they have everything from penny pushers to claw machines to a lot of interactive games. Cost- I think the cost for each of the interaction games price is pretty good and fair. Prizes- for prize rewards for an arcade is pretty decent and no complaints there either. Staff- very friendly Animals- dogs are welcome Why not 5 stars- The only thing I don't fully recommend is the bowling located in the arcade near the back by the vending machine. The price is fair to play and the ticket are alright. However, there's always an issues with the bowling every single time I have went. Such as the machine not registered bowling balls and having to repeat serval times or the tickets not dispensing at all. But overall its good place

Highlight is the old fashioned bowling alley at the end. My 5 year old loved it and much cheaper than the actual bowling alley further on. Good prize selection too for tickets.

Good fun especially in the rain. Range of prizes might not be as large as other arcades but still OK. There is bowling for £2 per person in the arcades or real bowling on the beach side. Pool is £1 per game on the beach. Toilets are clean on both sides. It's quite far from town centre is only negative.

Visited with family/young grandchildren during the Easter school holidays 2025, having been coming here for many, many years since a youngster living in the city with my parents. It's our local seaside resort after all. Arrived after 8 pm and enjoyed some family bowling. While in the amusement arcade after, the security guard came around asking people to leave/make it their last go, as shortly closing. It was 10 pm & the closing time on the doors was 11 pm. Grandkids hadn't been out long, as they had a sleep-in hotel room before going out a bit late. I questioned politely this with the security guard, & was taken aback when the goateed bearded guard derided me for daring to question his authority. He claimed they were doing maintenance & didn't care much for what it said regarding closing times on the doors. He called the supervisor over, as requested & she explained that they were emptying the machines of cash & that we didn't need to leave yet. The guard stood there listening & I questioned the two contradictions for closing the arcade early, mentioning the security guard's aggressive attitude. No apology or reasoning given & left earlier than expected, back to our hotel room. Two/three generations of loyalty lost, through your disgraceful actions, Wellington pier! Never to return!

Went out of season so it wasn't too busy. Spent three quid winning two chocolates 🤣 Won it back on the fruits so it's all good 👍

Came to wellington pier today with the family for a quite drink Bar lady got drinks order wrong and from there went down hill I asked my child to carry a wkd as was not giving a tray and had to carry 3 drinks and was told it’s against the law.(which is wrong)? 5 mins later had security come over and ask us for id? Sorry mate I’m 40 years old and been served already?? Was very rude and asked us to leave for no reason, Obviously said I’m finishing my drink first He went and got apparently a dep manager and manager which were extremely rude Grabbed my drink and poured it in a plastic cup! Was abusive to myself in front of my family Was trying to be poly And defuse the situation Asked for names was refused Won’t be visiting again This was a young family on a day out and was treated horribly by the staff welling bowling on the pier in Great Yarmouth Norfolk

Gutted that I found out about this place on the last night! Wondered why the band kept talking about “how sad it is” and eventually realised they were closing. Absolutely awesome place, great atmosphere, good beer on tap. And what a building. If this place decides to reopen the we will be there.

Arrived mid evening on a Tuesday when there was live music. Decent atmosphere and plenty of seating. As per the first image, I find it outrageous that you have to pay extra for things such as cheese, onion rings and even chips/fries. Surely these come as standard with a burger? This being said, the food is really, really good! Don't expect bog standard frozen nuggets when ordering the kids' nuggets & fries.

First time here. The food was great and the atmosphere is something else. You can't tell from outside, but it's filled with wall art, a tree, and really dark, but your eyes soon adjust. Will be back

It's a tricky one, this: in short, the atmosphere and decor is great, the food and drinks decent, but the service shocking. So, with that in mind it gets a begrudging 4 stars. Free kids meals are great (for every adult meal, you get a free kids meal) but the 'streetfood' menu (burgers, pizza and jackets) is limited. Portions are of a good size, though. And prices decent. Not a huge selection of drinks, but some 'craft' beers (think Camden Hells rather than independent breweries) on tap. It was, generally, a struggle to get served and at one point service was almost refused because they didn't have any clean wine glasses. That particular night we had wine in five different vessels, ranging from water glasses to gin goblets... Bar service and floor service was generally poor, and perhaps getting rid of some glass collectors and leafleteers outside (somewhat brusquely throwing people in) to pay for more serving staff would help. There is often live music, which is great, and families generally welcome relatively late (but you will be told to leave sooner or later). Toilets are clean-ish and there is an outside space with some tables where you can watch the world of Great Yarmouth pass by in all its glory. The playlist inside (when the bands aren't on) was far better than the (seasonal) DJ outside. The building is worth a visit in itself. An old cinema, beautifully repurposed, but keeping some old features (the ticket booths on the way in are great). Decor is a bit of a mismatch of neon, music merch/memorabilia and American diner. Clientele goes from families in the daytime and early evening to quite a young, drunken crowd as the night progresses. As they say: this must be the place.

Fantastic visit! Even on a busy bank holiday weekend, the staff were amazing & the food was delicious and affordable. A special mention for the lovely Tasha who not only looked after us but also helped our 10 year old daughter feel very grown up on her own table with her friends. Will absolutely visit again when I’m in Great Yarmouth next.

Price is incredibly reasonable and on the low scale of that. Atmosphere is again incredible. music everywhere decor is great. Food came quickly and was tasty. Highly recommend you at least pop your head in to have a look if not eating. it was straight out a movie

We visited here for the first time recently. Parking was relatively easy but it was end of the summer season. Prices are around £8 for an adult ticket. You can buy the usual sweets,snacks and drinks from the reception at highly inflated prices. There are approximately 5 screens. We were in screen one which was relatively large and fitted out with comfortable seats and plenty of leg room. It was quite cold in the cinema...probably to keep you awake if your film choice turns out to be boring. Toilets are at the side of the reception....they could do with a revamp... broken door locks, taps and areas taped off. All in all it was an enjoyable experience.

We wasn’t aloud to bring our own food, Even though I have a medical condition and have a gluten allergy. All we brought was 2 bags of popcorn and a drink. The manager was very rude and had an attitude with us at the very start. Didn’t even care that I have diabetes, When we said to the manager that I could go dangerously low, She didn’t care. So we had to go without any food. Expensive prices for drinks and popcorn. Them Smurf cups should not be costing 8 pound. People should be aloud to bring their own food/drinks in case if they have any medical needs/allergies. Manager clearly loves a power trip. The movie was good though, seating was fine. Manager refused to give us the code for the door until we showed our tickets. But offered everyone else the code? I would not recommend coming here if you like to bring your own food. Not recommended. Very greedy… Very Disgusting behaviour from the manager. Shouldn’t be leaving people with medical issues without food/drink. Do better.

The cinema itself and prices are very good. Unfortunately the popcorn had 2 hairs in it. Spoke to the Manager who told me would of liked to of seen it on the popcorn. Told her it was on the floor. Gave us complimentary popcorn again was a hair. I took it back with the hair on it. She then walked away and carried on her cleaning. No apology. Both mine and my child's hair is tied up.

What a great cinema! I couldn't believe how reasonable the ticket prices and the refreshments were compared with my local cinema. Then when we got inside the cinema, it was clean and the seats were incredible....like an armchair! I highly recommend a visit

1st impressions the cinema was clean and tidy. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The WOW factors was the seats and cost of the tickets. The seats were big and comfy. The tickets were reasonable priced. The price I paid for two tickets is same I would pay for one at Odeon. Free parking outside the cinema on the beach front. Highly recommend a visit.

The cinema appears to be running off a laptop. We booked to see one movie but then the system played a different movie. We were then informed that the screen was unable to play the movie we wanted because the screen hadn't played that movie before. I am giving two stars because they were responsive and offered a full refund and an apologetic portion of popcorn.

Lovely cinema with lovely staff, my only complaint is me and my husband are visually impaired and rely on audio description unfortunately it’s not offered at this cinema “yet”. we come to a film for our son but me and hubby didn’t really have a clue what was going on, We always phone and ask if they offer it yet and always met with the same answer, “no but we are getting it soon” we have been asking for 2+ years. Please can you fix this as it was a very enjoyable experience and would love to come again with the full experience.

Amazing amusements, polite staff and great range of prizes! Came here on holiday with family and used the two p machines, best ones I've used in a while too!

Fantastic amusement Arcade that has every kind of attraction for the young & the young at heart. Dog-friendly 🐕 The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

We have been coming here for 10+ years the staff are amazing and can’t fault ocean bay staff the owner is amazing and very helpful and generous with tickets and prizes

What a great amusement arcade. Fantastic staff, very clean premises. You see the guys out cleaning the glass which you dont see in many places. This is our 2nd year coming and spending our days at this amusement area. Can't fault this family arcade. 2p machines offer great prizes for the children. We will be back next year and I am sure the standards will met expectations. To conclude we got the mario lego for the 8500 tickets and had a great week collecting the tickets.

I went to it, thought it was good at first until I spent around 20 pounds on a machine, I tell them the toy wasn't moving and even gave them evidence, yet the ignored me. Whilst leaving I also realised how ridiculously overpriced it was. 1star

Great place to spend your 2p, grandkids loved it, got bits out of machines also lots of tickets so got more bits at end of day.

This place hasn't really changed much since when I was a kid nice little seaside bit to look around

Very comfortable cinema, choice of different grade seats. My only gripe we waited so long to get tickets, even queuing outside in the rain and missed the start of the film. Apparently 1 person only selling, drinks snacks and tickets made the process slow. Once in though the film volume was perfect and very comfortable seats.

Arrived early one meet greeter entrance was clean tidy cinema 1 we was in for F1 Elite seats roomy comfortable although the one next to me had ketchup smeared on the seat. Sound was very loud and distorted at times for the size of the room not great quality but the screen was big and clear. Over all was ok .

Very poor sound in screen 1, screen was small and didn't open bigger like normal cinema screens. When there was trouble in the cinema there was only one member of stuff for the hole of the cinema and they didn't have the power to sort out the trouble even after more then 3 complaints, complained over email and didn't get a reply, I phone the cinema twice through the week and a week later he reply with poor response.

Haven't been for a few years, but went recently and didn't find it enjoyable. Hot summer's day, and there's no air conditioning in here. Sound quality was pretty poor, my home sound system is actually better, no exaggeration. There's a hand rail across the middle section of the room we were in, which obscured the bottom of the screen. Everything is very 90s in there - popcorn, slushies and haribo, the toilets are proper retro, as is Eddie's bar upstairs. It's 2025, but feels like 1995 in there. I was hoping when they opened this cinema a few years ago, they were renovating it in stages, but seems like the retro is here to stay. I would say this place is very poorly managed - no direction or vision. Will be going elsewhere in the future.

Visited here a few times now and each time it has been welcoming and clean. The screens themselves are quite small, but it feels a little more personal than other cinemas. The picture quality is great as is the surround sound. This used to be a cinema, then was a bingo hall and now back to a cinema again. It is full of character and quirky. There is food and drink that can be purchased here. You can reserve seats as well as turn up on the day. There is an easy to use website as well to accompany it, if you purchase your tickets online you will receive an email with a QR code on it that just gets scanned on arrival. There is no need to wear face masks when entering the building anymore or when inside the screen. Hand gel is still available though. The toilets are clean and well looked after. The seats are very comfortable and there is plenty of room for arms and legs. There is a cupholder for each chair and there is plenty of elbow room, even if sitting next to a stranger. It is a small local cinema and worth visiting. They play films for all ages. The 2 photos I have added are from 2 separate visits.

Usually have a pleasant experience been so many times since opening but recently new staff members every week and being visually impaired with my partner we rely on the audio description boxes and the staff 1. Don’t know what they are or 2. Not trained on how to use them then they ask me how to do it, please train the staff properly before leaving them to run the front of house alone as this makes the whole experience quite challenging when trying to be independent

We went here for the first time a few days ago to watch the Salt Path. Entrance time was 13:30 with the film starting 20mins later. It was raining when we arrived at 13:30. There was a queue and the doors didn't open for another 5 mins. The queue remained static...there was no shelter and we were getting wet. We finally got to the foyer desk at 13:51. There was only one person on duty and he was processing the tickets AND then serving drinks and popcorn etc!! No wonder the queue was static! So, we missed the first 10 mins of the film. Once we had found our seats, the customers were still trooping in for about another 15-20 mins which restricted our ability to follow the film with all the background noise and people walking in front of the seats. The other downside was the quality of the sound..not good to be honest. Anyway, it's great to have a cinema on your doorstep, and it's actually a nice little cinema. So, I've highlighted the issues we had, and I would hope the management takes note of them. Will I go here again?... probably not.. the experience has put me off unfortunately, but never say never if you get those issues sorted.
