A nice Mexican bistro to have a quick bite. It's easy to reach, next to a tram stop. The food is good, the prices are normal. Nothing mind blowing or wrong. It's a small place. There is limited space inside and it's hot. There are tables outside but it can be challenging in the summer due to the scorching sun. There are not many trees to cast a shadow. It's a convenient bistro to eat something quick and move on. If it aligns with your expectations then nothing disappointing.

Kinda bumped into this place and was intrigued by the queue while neighbouring places were empty. It was a blast. The food was beyond tasty and the frozen drink was delightful! The staff are nice too. I would go back. (I ordered a quesadilla and margarita.)

I love this place so much. I'm American and find it really difficult to find good Mexican food in Germany. This place is the bomb. The menu and the seating is very limited, but the service is super quick and friendly. The carnitas with cheese are amazing!

I come here a lot with my friend for burrito or taco night. Service can be a little slower when busy but it's always worth the wait. The margaritas are fun and perfect for when it's hot

The place is very small and it can get quite crowded. But don't let this hold you back. The food is delicious, with a homemade feeling. I can only recommend it. The service was friendly and very quick. The burrito was great and the tacos too. They don't take reservations and there's not many places to sit, so be prepared.

The best ingredients and great care in presentation i have found outside of Mexico. I have been here twice and leave wanting to order more or thinking about when i can return. This is a must try spot. Friendly and absolutely delicious food.

It had been a long time since I last visited Ta'Cabron and I must say that today I was pleasantly surprised, the staff was super friendly and attentive, the service was fast, the prices were fair and the food was excellent. The enmoladas were my favorite, but the tostadas my husband ordered were also very well served and tasty. Micheladas were top! Sorry I was very hungry and didn’t take pictures from our dishes, but I will be back soon 😉 It was definitely worth the visit! Thanks for a great night cabr*nes! ❤️

Service was non existent: You have to get the menu yourself, go up to the counter to order and bring back your dishes. I don‘t mind doing that in a McDonalds, but I expected service - as in a Server servicing customers. We reserved for a group event with 11 people but were only provided with 4 objectively small tables. 4 tiny ah tables couldn‘t possibly provide enough space for 11 people so we added another 5th table of our own valition (it‘s self service after all, duh) and were very rudely informed that we were supposed to ask beforehand. Food was okay: the minced beef tacos are great, but the chicken with the chocolate chili sauce tasted like mud from a horses stable, but taste is subjective as we all know. Portion sizes are also kimda small for the price. The place itself is too small for the amount of customers that wanted to get in (which riddles me). Cash only also baffles me, because they accept Wolt Delivery Orders. Ergo if you‘re short on cash just order from there: the service fee is greater than them just installing a card reader and you‘ll still get your food.

First time visiting this restaurant and we’re impressed. Haven’t had Mexican food this good since visiting Mexico. We had the Tacos with Cochinita Pibil, Pollo Mole and Picadillo as well as Quesadillas with Chorizo. Everything is fresh and full of flavour. The margaritas are great too. We can’t wait to come back.

Delicious & diverse section of Mexican food. I was so happy to see something other than the regular burritos & tacos on the menu. The vibe is great but the music is too loud to have any conversation. Special shoutout to the server lady – she was very pleasant and polite. And she also gave us good food recommendations.

Very cute place, we ordered all 3 chilaquiles. They were great, chicken inside was a bit plain but the sauces were really good.

Oh La Queca is a gem in Berlin for authentic Mexican cuisine, with a cozy, modest interior reflecting true Mexican vibes. On top of that, everything (except Churos) is also gluten free. The menu shines, especially the black mole, a rich blend of spices making it a must-try. The quesadillas and tacos also impress with their quality. If you're craving genuine Mexican flavors, this is for you. I do recommend getting a reservation in advance, tho.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Mole was a treat and the margaritas are lovely.

Small, cute Mexican restaurant that surprised me by it's amazing tasty food. 😍 We had tortillas and it was just divine. 🌮 I usually need to eat more to fill up after Mexican, but the dishes came accompanied with such good sides that I was satisfied with the main dish alone. Plus the service was so kind and friendly (rare these days in Berlin). Can't wait to be back!

Tasty food and nice service but portions are very small for the price. It looked like a starter to me... I took the quesadilla Jamaica (9,5€). You should take the double one if you want a bigger portion. In comparison, enchiladas seemed big enough.

Authentic small place, hidden in the heart of a buzzing neighborhood with lovely staff and ambiance. The food was good, but nothing exceptional for the small portions. If you have a big appetite, I'd order more than one main, and if you are price sensitive, I'd recommend something else. :)

Great place, love their food. But wish they could do better with the ratio of their burritos. Their bowls are super nice too. Love this place. However it feels a bit overpriced to have to pay extra for pickled onions, cilantro, and sour cream. While I understand that guac may come at an additional cost, the prices for these other toppings seem somewhat excessive.

Careful: no cash accepted, ONLY cards. They have Californian burritos. Note that this is not real Mexican food but a fusion between American and Mexican style. Still good but missing the Mexican love 😆 There are seats inside and outside. All orders are to pick up (no waiters). They have nice and refreshing home made lemonades. The staff is friendly and they speak English and German.

Bowls are delicious, and the people are really nice. Sizes are good, but I would make the spicy options, more spicy because I ask for the salsa verde with jalapeños and couldn’t feel the jalapeños flavour. I absolutely will come back.

Taste is really good! Both the tacos and burritos have amazing flavours. I ate vegan and really liked it and my boyfriend ate meat and he did too. One of the best burrito’s in Berlin. We will for sure come back. Staff is very nice too.

Portions are joke never seen a this stingy restaurant before, there were literally 2 tablespoon of rice and meat. Even the salad is too little. Rice and eisberg is cheap you know? How a grown person supposed to fill with this portion?

The best burritos I’ve had in Berlin! 🌯 The food is always fresh and delicious, and the service makes it even better. At this point, they already know my order before I even say it. The female cashier in particular is always so kind and accommodating. It’s one of the reasons I keep coming back. Prices are a little on the higher side, but totally worth it for the quality and experience. Highly recommend!

Really good, quite authentic Mexican food. We liked the service and the food. The vegan option is very dry! But the veg tacos with the cactus and all other options are amazing. They have an online menu, and the physical menu right at the counter where you order. It is a self-service restaurant and paying the Trinkgeld or service fee even before the food was served to us made me feel a bit iffy but we did pay it. You order first, pay the money and the food comes. Which would be okay if they weren’t asking for the Trinkgeld beforehand. The food was mostly good, but if you have an unfortunate bad experience - you have no option but to swallow the hard pill as we did with the vegan tacos. The salsa is unnamed, but if you’re aware of the types of salsa etc, you’ll be good! They’ve got a cool interior that happens once you cross a bar, another restaurant and the Mexican restaurant is the last in a space shared by 3 businesses. There is outdoor seating as well, which is good for the summer weather! I also recommend the tamarind water.

Great Tacos, although I would order them with double shells, because they break every time otherwise. Chips are a bit over-fried but guac was good. Salsas were a great touch. I live in Cali, so maybe my standards are a bit higher. Also, make sure you get a spot and look everywhere. The bar is a good spot too to sit down and eat if you are a smaller group.

Very cool area with really delicious tacos! You have to wait a bit and it's very crowded but totally worth it. Also nice margaritas and ice tea. We had 9 tacos for two and it's okay sized for the normal amount of hungryness ;)

These are real authentic and super delicious tacos 🌮! We got some beef and veggie tacos and both were exquisite. With a wide selection of different sauces this restaurant is worth a visit. The staff is friendly, the restaurant looks clean and has a beautiful design with nice atmosphere. The price meets the quality standards. I can only recommend going to this place and try the beef tacos they are so so good & the best in berlin, for sure!

Mexican being one of my favourite cuisine, this was my first time at a Mexican restaurant in Berlin and was not at all disappointing. Though the menu is limited, it is quite authentic and also the ambience 👌🏼 People at the restaurant and bar were friendly and helpful 🙂 The place was mostly crowded all the time and quite lively !! If you are in Berlin and have a taste for Mexican food, I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant. There is also a Mexican store in front of the restaurant with various options to indulge in 🤤 Tip: If you are visiting the restaurant on the weekends, I recommend making reservation in advance .

Yes. It’s crowded. You may have to share a table with strangers. Well, life is hard. It is a Markthalle and advertised as such. It’s a place full of different kitchens etc. so don’t expect it to be empty Tacos are fantastic. First time trying vegan Barbacoa and cacti 🌵, sauces vary between German spicy and little extra German spicy. Even if there are several peeps in front, service is extra quick and the wait is much slower than expected. I do recommend the place, if you’re not a Karen

Great vegetarian and vegan tacos. I chose all three available tacos for vegetarians and vegans. They were all equally good, my favorite is the cactus one. They also have great choice of sauces. What I'm surprised at is for a self service place, the card machine immediately asks for a tip when paying.

Used to dine here often but since they changed the chefs, I’ve only been coming in the odd week for the michelada. Normally it’s pretty good. But as of the last month or so it’s been so inconsistent. To the point where I wouldn’t bother coming based on who’s working. I can over look some small details but when I’m getting just a lacklustre beer on tomato for 7€ is a bit of joke. Not even a full bottle of Corona was used. It’s like rolling a dice here.

Just ate the best tacos I’ve ever had in Berlin! I am sad my plate is finished. I will definitely be back!

Brilliant, affordable Mexican food. I came here really hungry and won’t need to eat anything until breakfast tomorrow (it’s 8 PM). And I’m a 213 cm tall guy! Big, honest chunk of beef. Highly recommended

Tasty and feels healthy I order from Chachaparro fairly regularly, and it never disappoints. A Mexican friend recommended it, and I’ve really grown to like it. I usually go for the chicken bowl (Teller) – it tastes great and feels like a well-balanced meal, especially if you’re into something high in protein.

Very good taste, I tried the Shawarma sandwich. And the restaurant is super easy to find, just downstairs of the U2 line. Fast service, smiling face, I give them a thumbs up!

Was really excited to try this place as it seemed to be highly rated, however, was extremely disappointed. For €4.5/5 each, this is the state of the tacos. You couldn't even blame the delivery or how they were transported. One taco wasn't even made. The filling was thrown into the box and the tortilla on top. We are also missing the guacamole that cost €4. We basically paid to make our own tacos. As for the flavor, tacos were bland. They tasted of nothing. The chicken also had a strange color, I didn't even give it a try. The beef strips were chewy and also tasted of nothing. The only saving grace was the lime. It's normal for restaurants to have an off night and I would usually always give them a second chance. But for this 0/10, never again.

Small taco place under the subway tracks. The location is kinda cool and convenient. The food quality is ok but not the best tacos I had. Good for a quick bite if it’s on the way and prices are ok for the size of the portion. But you can definitely find tastier tacos not far away from here ;)

Such a cute little place. Enjoy the freshly made corn tacos while watching people walking past. We got lucky listening to live music while enjoying the delicious tacos. Prices are okay, ingredients taste fresh. I recommend adding extra guacamole to your taco for 50 cents. It's a dream!! I also recommend 2-3 tacos per person. There are a lot of different options: gluten free tacos, vegan ones, with meat, keto friendly... Something for everyone. I highly recommend stopping by for a taco snack.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time and I’m glad I finally did it. The tacos were warm but fresh and super tasty and the service was great, I loved that the guys could speak spanish, that was a great plus as me and my friend could communicate effortlessly. It was a perfect therefore special combination between berlin and latin vibes! Your origin doesn’t matter but if you’re latin you’re gonna enjoy this place even more and also feel a bit nostalgic! 10/10 for vegans. I, a native Californian, ordered 11 vegan tacos (5 carnitas, 4 Al pastor, 2 yoda) to split with my boyfriend. Outstanding!! Their service was great and super friendly staff. They even threw in some free goodies for us since we made such a large order. Carnitas were my favorite. The salsa was the best I’ve found in Europe.

Delicious pork and chicken taco! My friend had 2 veggie ones and chicken, she also enjoyed them a lot. Sauces are spicy but tasty. I’d advice having at least 2 glasses of lemonade or whatever you are drinking to help with the spice!! Pineapple cucumber lemonade is exactly what I needed! Guacamole 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Very tasty Mexican food. Prices are more than fair, there are multiple options for both vegetarians/vegans and carnivores. The place is small and not too cozy so it’s more for a relaxed dinner with friends rather than a romantic date, but food makes up for it!

Was craving some Michelada and happened to be around the area. Got a great Michelada for only 5€!!! And the smell got my appetite going, so I treated myself to some tacos too. Oh damn! They’re so tasty! I had the beef tongue, pork belly, and two vegan pastor. So so so good. Generous size and totally worth the value :) my new fav place for a light snack and michis! The staff are all super friendly too.

You better enjoy these simple and not pretentious places to other ones that sell you candy for the eyes (or the gram) but where you are always disappointed. Service is also extremely kind. A pretty decent taco outlet. The menu and the food was quite authentic but a bit toned down for the german customers. Still, a solid choice if you are in the area or have an extreme cravings for tacos. Still the best I've had in Germany so far. The atmosphere was also fun and the staff were friendly and help you with the choices.

We came on a rainy day and the tacos were delicious. There are plenty of options, including vegetarian, and the tortillas held up well without falling apart—which I really appreciated since that’s not always the case elsewhere. Personally, I think tacos are best with two tortillas, but many taquerias in Europe only serve them with one. The horchata was good, though I wish the flavor were a bit stronger. Only downsides were that several tables were wet and I didn’t see salsa options. On the plus side, there are plenty of seating choices. Overall, tasty tacos and a solid spot worth visiting! 🌮

Such a great vibe! The laid-back, unique atmosphere is perfect for enjoying amazing tacos. We tried several kinds—each one bursting with bold, authentic flavor. The Birria tacos were especially unforgettable. Easily some of the best street tacos I’ve had in Berlin. Highly recommended!

I ordered the chorizo tacos and baby quesadilla. The chorizo taco is out of this world, so flavoursome. If you can handle the heat, the addition of the extra hot sauce completely elevates it. The frozen margaritas are also delicious. Would highly recommend.

Best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my entire life. Everything was perfect. Staff has a kind and considerate demeanor. The Mexican food back in the NJ/NY tri-state area doesn’t hold a candle to this.

Amazing food, amazing people, amazing drinks, everything gluten-free: heaven. Very friendly and welcoming staff who are very glad to help you and tell you about the food in plenty of languages. My favourite was the pulled jackfruit taco, so good.

The presentation is visually stunning—borderline Michelin—but the taste doesn’t live up to the promise. The appetizer was acceptable, but the main (polpo) was extremely salty, and the octopus itself was overly chewy. The risotto it came with was undercooked—way too al dente. Dessert didn’t redeem the experience either: it wasn’t clearly sweet or savory, just confused and unbalanced. Overall, style over substance.

Came back for the second time, had the fish/ seafood option. Loved that they were also flexible in swapping out dishes if you prefer vegetarian or meat option for that course. Worth the trip to Neukölln. Best value course meal in berlin. Also w very fun cocktails!

This donkey is still in shackles. I am going to tell it the way I experienced it. In my opinion execution is not on par with the price point. Clean(-ish), but lacking all of the basics. Service is a bit strained. Tempo is well off (amuse-bouche and starter almost hand-in-hand, then nothing for quite some time). I really wish I would like this place more than I actually do as … Main dish is insanely good! Imagine what an“is everything alright, Mate/Sir/Xx? could have accomplished (given that the dining room is almost empty)! Would have brought the xperience to an acceptable level.

Dining here was an experience for my taste buds, my stomach and my eyes. Each dish was delicious and served in a very pretty manner. The beef with shrimp was diving and the desserts were truly excellent. I'm very happy I had a chance to dine here.

It’s that time of the year to get together and book the “Bier, Boarden & Bouletten”-Trip and finish up the planning with some serious bookings. 😁 And what better occasion than that to get together for a nice meal. Burro offers a 4-course-meal for €55. But you can also order all the dishes from the menu a la carte. They offer vegetarian and fish / meat options for each course. My personal favorite was the pulpo dish but the blood sausage looked really good as well! 🤤👌🏼 A lovely and relaxed place to enjoy a lovely meal. 👍🏼

What a treat! We ordered the set menus, one veggie and one with fish / meat, and shared. To drink we had a cocktail and red wine. From A to Z everything brought to our table was delicious. That’s 8 different dishes! Not an easy task to pull off. Great job everyone at Burro Unchained! Can‘t wait to come back to what is now one of my top 3 restaurants in Berlin! 👏

To be fair, I didn’t know these tacos were vegan. Now I understand the “not quite the Mexican” flavor! But they are okey in general. 1 star less due to the cost of the tacos, too pricy 1 star leas due to the fact that they don’t take cash (at least when I’ve visited 08.14.22), also it is a bit chaotic and complicated to having to chose where to sit then tell the one at the counter and so on… the system should be better!!!

We had the nachos with guac, the quesadillas and the cauliflower and jackfruit tacos. everything was amazing but the quesadillas were definitely our favourite!! The service was great and the food was ready within minutes. 10 out of 10 can recommend🫶🏽🙌🏼

Pretty good tacos in Kreuz-Kölln. The selection is very small (only 5 tacos available) and only one of them with meet since the restaurant is vegan focused. I have to say the taste of the 3 tacos I got was very good. I will definitely go back. The place is card payment only! No cash

I was excited to try this place out. Overall, i was a little dissappointed with the whole experience. A few points…. [update since writing this review, I spoke with one of the owners and they heard out my points. Which they agreed to be valid and took my comments very serious. Not sure if they have took action on them but I appreciate they were able to make the time] 1. Vaccinations Staff didn’t check for vaccinations if you were eating inside. And the inside seating was tight and full in a room. No ventilation. 2. Staff Staff behind the counter were all over the place and their stress was contagious throughout the entire restaurant; including to the customers. They were very rude to their customers and were not very friendly. One of the staff pushed me from behind at my backpack to get me out of the way to reach something. Didn’t say excuse me or apologize, which I thought was super rude. 3. Ambience The inside got very loud and they blasted the music to cover the noise. It was not a very pleasant place to talk and eat at. 4. Prices I thought their prices were a little over priced in comparison to some other Mexican / tex-mex restaurants / taco stands I have been to in berlin. Their tacos are unique in flavor and style, which is great but not sure if it makes it worth the price. The vegan taco is the most expensive taco which I don’t understand. If their costs are too high because the ingredients, change the ingredients. Makes no sense having a vegan taco the most expensive taco. A drink was 4 euros and it was a tiny glass. It even had ice so it was even less liquid than i could have had. The drink was gone in >5 sips. 5. Cold food Vegan tacos came out cold. And my friends Carnitas taco was hardly warm. Not sure if they were supposed to be severed cold but it was not expected. They were good but still would have liked it to be warm. ... not sure I would give this place another chance for a while. It seems more of a grab and go type of place. Especially during the summer… I gave Victoria Tacos a 3/5 because the jackfruit taco was very good. The Aqua Fresca Hibiskus mint was delicious. The nacho chips were also nice and crispy. The place has a lot of potential and I can see why it is hyped. I just didn’t have the most incredible experience and for me, it is not worth the time or money to go out of my way to come here.

Best tacos in town! Don't expect mexican originals, but the reinvention of the taco, Berlin-style! The staff is superb and the location ideal to either start your saturday with lunch tacos and have the ideal snack in between drinks! Highly recommendable. Go and check it our yourself!

I like the tacos; they are the best I’ve had so far in Berlin. I like the taste, flavor, and texture, and they’re not soggy. However, the portion is too small for the price and not filling enough—I wish they were bigger. I had the taco mix, but if you're hungry, it's not enough. In my opinion, it's more like an appetizer-sized portion

I enjoyed the restaurant and its terrace to grab a few bites for dinner. There are a few vegan options which is nice, I found the vegan chorizo interesting but was fairly disappointed with the Nopales which lacked taste in my opinion. Guacamole was average, margarita a bit too sweet for my taste. So overall, I was not particularly impressed with the food but service was great and the spot is chill.

Went here with a friend and honestly, it was a real letdown. The meat tacos weren’t cold, but they weren’t warm either—just kind of lukewarm and underwhelming. No sauce, nothing to pull the flavors together, and the presentation was unappetizing. One positive is the staff is friendly and attentive. My friend got the veggie mix, and some of the tacos were literally just cactus fruit and onions in juice—maybe even canned. No sauce, no sour cream, no cheese—nothing to balance or enrich the flavors. What surprised me most was that one meat taco was basically repeated in another, just with a few strange-tasting chips on top. For something that’s supposed to be a “variety,” it felt lazy and repetitive. We paid 15€ per person, and on top of that, if you want cheese on your tacos, it’s an extra 1€ per taco, which felt excessive considering what you’re getting. I’ve had really good tacos in other places, so it’s frustrating when the response to criticism is, “Well, that’s how they taste in Mexico.” That just feels dismissive—especially when the food clearly lacks balance, care, and flavor. I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews, but I really wouldn’t recommend this place based on our experience.

The best micheladas and margaritas of Berlin. The tacos are very yummy. If you want to have a good time with friends and eat delicious food, this is the perfect place. It's an authentic Mexican restaurant. You can feel the Latino and nice vibe when you enter the place. The owner and the team are from Mexico. I will come back soon for more micheladas.

The server was quite off putting. Food was costly and slightly dry and a michelada for 7.50 is quite criminal. If you want Mexican food in Berlin, there are better options. The music was very good!

A real letdown and a scammer restaurant. They announce Boing juices in the Menu and give you a random Maaza Mango juice from india instead, expecting no one will notice. They also refuse to give you lime “cause” the sauce already has lime in it! Prices way over the top. This a tourist trap.

My new favorite taco joint in Berlin! Loved the nopales street tacos topped with chicharron and the carnitas torta. Salsa was also delicious, although I only tried the hottest one. Great vibe, especially on a warm sunny day!

This restaurant is highly racism and extremely unfriendly. Since our group was larger, we were informed of a two-hour dining limit. However, the food took nearly an hour to arrive. Not long after we started eating, the staff began clearing our dishes and constantly rushing us. One staff member even knocked on the table and yelled at us to eat faster, despite there being 20 minutes left on our dining time. It was impossible to relax and enjoy the meal! Such behavior is utterly unreasonable. I’ve traveled extensively, and this is by far the worst service I’ve ever encountered. We didn’t order less than expected and even paid the service fee. There are many better restaurants to choose from nearby. While the food was undeniably good, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone due to their appalling service.

I love this place🤩 my favorite go-to authentic spanish food location, very good Paella 👌 and the portion is to share for 2 people, very good live music 💃 you are transported to Spain during your time there. It gets relatively busy at night, but it is quieter around 7 8. One of my favorite restaurants in Berlin!

Had a naked Burrito with beef (the main ingredient makes the price) and it was delicious. Had the mild salsa, very good, as well as guacamole and nachos. The aqua frescas are yummy and refills are free. Fast food, that is delicious, great quality and at a decent price! Would recommend! Lunch hour is full and has a long line, that moves fast! Additional hot sauces are provided as well!

I dont know about this one. I love burritos, and this one has so many great reviews, but I was so disappointed. The burrito was ok but nothing extraordinary and a little bland tasting. The service was not good. The staff seemed extremely annoyed having to deal with the customers. They have hangouts of the steps, like first choose burrito, taco, bowl etc. Second step choose veggie, meat etc. Third rice, beans, etc. but when they ask you, they ask in a different order than how the steps are shown. I just thought it to be a bit confusing, because the staff doesn't explain anything. They are extremely stingy with ingredients like the guacamole even if you tell them they can charge for extra... The atmosphere was canteen like and loud. I wouldn't come back and can't recommend this one.

Ordered beef burrito via Wolf. Estimate was 50-60min, took 80min to arrive. Lousy packaging with a leaky aluminum foil wrap. Beef was neither juicy nor tender. A little piece of bone came off of burrito.

The place was empty, two staff members, yet somehow service was still slower than other burrito places. We ordered 2 not spicy burritos with extra guacamole, and one without sour cream. Super straightforward yet the one without sour cream was spicy. Other than that food was a bit too salty. Yet my partner did enjoy their burrito, I found it quite average.

Had a decent bowl of chili at a very good price. It was flavourful and had more meat than beans. Served with a large portion of tortilla chips. The server was very friendly but I did not appreciate that he fulfilled orders for guests that arrived after me first. I did not like the decor. It was an unsuccessful attempt at trying to be funky. I have been ordering from this restaurant for a long time and never had a problem, however today I ordered 2 burritos(chicken lime - mild), the same I always do, and my order was completely incorrect, I received something extremely spicy instead and I couldn't even eat it. I ordered via Uber Eat and when I asked to receive the correct order I was told that I would only be refunded half the price. Horrible customer service and a waste of money. I will never order here ever again.

I stopped going to Machete years ago due to the drop in quality, but due to hunger and location happened upon there after some years. The burrito I had yesterday was incredible, Machete is back! Prices are a bit high, but worth it for the quality and makes sense for the kiez. Not sure what changed, but I’m glad it did. Felt like eating a homemade burrito from back home. Can only recommend!

Food is amazing.Really great Burritos. Salsa and guacamole! The Burritos are very tasty and filled massively. The guy who helped us, is very kind. The place is nice and clean. The chicken burrito is amazing. Nice flavors and spicy.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We ordered a vegan burrito bowl and an adobo chicken bowl, and both were awful. The veggie bowl claimed to have sautéed vegetables, but when it was first served, it had none. After we asked, they added just two pieces of boiled carrots and potatoes. The horchata tasted nothing like the authentic version you get in Mexico. The guacamole was sour and tasted old, and everything was served cold. Instead of calling these burrito bowls, they should be called tortilla chip bowls, as they were filled with the cheapest ingredients available. After a while I had to throw up from the food that I had at this place. I have rarely had such a bad experience and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Quality is what to be expected from fast food burritos, which is totally fitting for a late saturday evening. Staff was nice. The only downfall are the Friedrichshain prices, but that really is not the fault of the restaurant.

The food is ok, the tortillas were served cold so big turnoff for me. The salsa verde has a strong vinegar taste and missing onion and cilantro for taste. The meets are spiced well but the beef is kinda tuff needs to be cooked longer. The staff is friendly and happy to be here and very helpful.

Just a really cool space with a food market and comfy chairs. Great space for relaxing socialising etc. so much variety in the food and all of it is incredible. Syrian food, sushi, Korean fried chicken, bars, Turkish kebab, burgers, pasta, pizza and that’s not even all of it! Really worth a visit

Wow, this place is amazing as in Prague! There is a lot of variety of food. Korean fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce is amazing, cocktails are very good and kumpira chicken with potatoes is sooo tasty and girls there are so friendly 🤤And the special thanks to our waiter Nika, who makes our dinner here unforgettable ☺️

Service and atmosphere were super nice. Our starter (hamachi israeli carpaccio) was superb. The taco’s were cold and overal the rest of the dishes missed the Mexican sourness / freshness. I miss my tomato onion salsa with a taco. On too many dishes was tahini sauce, which all gave them the same taste. The tahini sauce on the chili con carne sauce gave it a strange taste. Overal good experience but the israeli / mexican concept only worked with the hamachi for us.

Food was pretty much standard and not Mexican at all. Octopus and cheesecake were very good. Apart from that, the tacos, guacamole and ribs were okay-ish. Also, the aguachile had nothing to do with how a real aguachile should taste or look. Don’t think the dishes are worth the prices.

I really enjoyed my time at Amigo Cohen. I was on a date with my husband & liked the atmosphere, the food and the music. Restaurant is very stylish, which is a rarity for Berlin. The service was great, we’ve also got 2 extra mescal shots each on the house at the end. It’s more on the fancy side, so expect stylish crowd and prices a bit above average. I’ll definitely come again with a group of girlfriends for a fun night.

Great food, great ambiance, great drinks. Plenty of food for the price. We tried the Chefs Choice which was a selection of the best food. The plates were delicious with sofisticated flavours which reminded us of our time in Mexico. You can taste the Israel influence which is well married with the Mexican food. Highly recommended!

Food was ok. Guacamole was tasteless, free peanuts and pistachio tasted good. Cocktails was ok-. Espresso martini was so so, margaritas spicy was not spicy at all, wine was fine - not amazing! Shimp Moroccan's style tasted great, octopus somewhat tasted rubbery, tacos was not like in Mexico at all- just some tortilla with some meat on top of it, no guacamole- no jalapenos- nothing! All in all just between 3-4 stars!

Came here with a friend for lunch and instantly liked the vibe of the place. It’s like a modern hip food court with plenty of different foods to choose from. We had Mexican and some cocktails and I would come back.

I highly recommend this place. Tacos and corn were perfect. Great flavors and portion size. We also had pizza twice and really enjoyed it. Last time we also had Basil Smash at the bar. Smell and taste of this cocktail was fantastic. I can also recommend the ice tea 👌

the mitte market hall is mostly about tacos and latin american products, but features pop ups, with Japanese, Indian Italien and more. there’s a latino produce shop and a bar that serves beer and cocktails. This place gets pretty packed on weekends but is still chill compared to the streetfood market in xberg on Thursday’s.

I love a good food hall and the hip ambience here definitely adds to the appeal. The shabby chic cantina feel is definitely attractive. Anyway to the food. There is an Italian counter, a Mexican seafood counter, a Mexican taco counter, a burger counter, and a Mexican drink stand. Everything is a little on the pricey side, especially the seafood at Ola, but it's seafood so I'd rather pay for good quality. 10 euros for a tostada is pretty intense, but I can safely say it was worth it. Absolutely delicious. The camarones al tequila were a little too heavy on the garlic for that recipe, but still tasty as hell. The server at Ola was super friendly and informative. My partner and son ordered various tacos which the vegan/vegetarian varieties were very tasty and my partner enjoyed the meat tacos. Overall a fun date night out and an authentic little mini trip back to Mexico while in Berlin.

Great tacos and good vibe. Try the cod fish tacos from the Mexican seafood place and the mix of 3 from Taqueria del Oso! Queue can get quite long in the summer - we waited 30 mins for the platter. Worth it though!

Food was decent (I’d score it for 3/5), the atmosphere ok and the staff quite friendly. What shocked me is that you can only pay cash! They wrote it on the first page of the menu, which is even worse as I would understand if it would be a terminal problem. No, they just don’t accept cards. A no-go for me for the future.

I feel the chicken is a bit too dry not gonna lie, but the service and atmosphere is amazing. That’s why I still give a 5 stars plus for a lunch menu, the price is also pretty reasonable. Only accept cash is a red flag tho. Uncool!!!!

I really hate giving a bad review; I understand it is people's livelihood but I can't in good conscience recommend something that I would not purchase or frequent myself. The staff was very pleasant although there is a delay when waiting for the check as different people help with different parts of the serving process (one person. sits you, another takes the order, another brings drinks, some one else the food, and in the end they seemed confused as to who kept track of the bill). I didn't expect authentic Mexican food (even though one can have pretty good food from any other country almost anywhere nowadays), but I did expect to have a good meal. The food quality just wasn't there. We ordered the sample (or platter) hoping to find what was good so we could order the actual food, but the best thing on the dish were the olives and the mozzarella sticks. It was by far the least tasteful meal while in Berlin. The decor is very nice and the place is in a very good location, they also provide free wifi and show the games (if you are in town during the FIfa World Cup).

One of the best little holes in the wall I’ve ever found anywhere :-) My family and I had been before, but this time we came back with some friends from Texas who live here in Berlin, and they were also extremely impressed. The proprietor was very busy (it being dinner time), but still super friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing - as far as I know this is the only place in Berlin to get truly authentic Mexican. Highly recommend you try it!

First time here, tried their tacos and quesadilla both are great flavorful, rich & crisp! If you prefer hot n spicy, welcome to try their Chillies habanero and condiments all a great for the palate and compliment well for the dishes. Last but not least, service is great as well! This place is definitely something we've been missing in the area! The Margarita was really delicious, and I could have easily had a few more. While I wasn't a fan of the nachos as they tasted a bit bland, the bowls we had for mains were absolutely delicious. The interior is lovely and bright, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Plus, the team was really friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood with just a bit of room for improvement.

I have searched a lot in Germany to find good quality tacos and sadly they are pretty rare to find specifically in northern Germany, but Berlin and specifically this restaurant really surprised me. These were some of the best of the best tacos I had ever tasted. The menu is pretty small and only has a few options, which means that the ones you get are going to be flat out perfect. The drinks are also amazing. Totally recommended!

Great tacos! Mostly meat friendly, but a few vegetarian/vegan options available. The staff was friendly and attentive. When they saw we underestimated the spiciness of the sauces, they brought horchata to help us, without us even asking for it! They were also very positive towards my dog, which I really appreciated. I also liked the cocktails. Cards only. Will certainly come back! I only wish they had more on the menu (for instance totopos with guacamole or other appetizers).

Friendly service and great flavours—both the tacos and salsas. Some of my favourites are definitely the birria/quesabirria—the birria broth was like a warm hug, very satisfying—and both versions of the chorizos (one vegetarian and one pork). The vegetarian version was mindblowingly good (sadly didn’t take picture of it). Had I not known it was vegetarian, I wouldn’t have guessed. And I love love love the frozen paloma and mezcal 🍹

You must try the quesabirria! It’s a very popular and crowded place, so make sure to arrive about 30 minutes early, as you might have to wait a bit for a table.

Honestly, A MUST DO! Was in Berlin visiting a friend and we’d never had Tacos before (I know shock😭) so we found this place scrolling through TikTok and omg it did not disappoint. Simply great tacos! I still miss the taco al pastor from the old place but still, they are the best. I was really happy to see the frozen margaritas too, it was seeing like an old friend. Line is definitely worth it. It is pricey though. I needed 4 tacos to kill my hunger and it is 5 euros each

As a Texan, I’ve been longing for authentic tacos in Berlin and I’ve finally found the place! Not only are they super delicious, but they offer a variety of hot sauces to really punch up the flavor. Wait is long on a Friday night but it’s worth every minute. 10/10!

Nice vegeratian mexican place in a good area. The place is small so we had to eat in the counter, luckily we were three people only. Really big burrito (the biggest I've seen)!! The chips with avocado are delicious and I suggest the quesadilla for main course! Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

I consider myself a Burrito Connoisseur* and can say these are some of the most beautiful veg burritos I have ever encountered. * I am from The burrito mecca: San Francisco bay area where I ate several thousand burritos and explored / compared the best taquerias. I have been to many if the best in Los Angeles and San Diego as well and hundreds of other locations across the USA and all over Europe.

Great tasting food, and nice atmosphere. Wouldn't go here for a fancy dinner party, but worked well with for a semi-fancy get together with friends. The seats were a bit cramped, and being almost two meters tall I struggled a bit to be comfortable when sitting and eating. The staff was nice, and the food arrived at a good time, not to fast (which I take as a bad sign) and not to slow which is always a good thing when filled with hunger. Big plus for the tasty vegan option, and adding lime to the beer (Sol in this case) 🙂

Wow! Nice staff, veggie meals and quite chill atmosphere. If the weather is good they put some tables outside and serve and even in rainy days you can sit outside beneath the marquee. Absolutely recommendable: veggie avocado pizza and sushi burger. Price: around 14€/person.

Lovely place in the heart of Neukölln, not far away from Rathaus Neukölln. Purple/ turquoise from outside, alternative from inside. Healthy vegan dishes and huge portions. Popular among hipsters ;) Café is cheap and staff friendly. We had to wait a bit, but got a piece of chocolate cake for free. Great gesture!! Definitely a great place on a summer day, either inside or outside.

The place is good. Fast service, refreshing decent flavors, a lot of cocktail options, but I was surprised there‘s no spicy potato wedges / fries. Vegetarian tacos and baked potato seemed not so good in terms of flavor to me. The coconut-caramel pudding, on the other hand, was exceptionally delicious. In the evening music was blasting quite loud, so it was a bit hard to talk

Cannot recommend at all. The food was quite sub-par even by out-of-Mexico standards. Chips out of a bag, bland quesadillas, and the worst “aguachile” I’ve ever seen. Skip it and stick to German or Asian food.

The restaurant was empty on a Saturday evening, there was an overload of cinnamon (?) in every dish, and my chicken tacos could be renamed curried vegetable oil. Imagine korma without the curry power, microwaved processed chicken, and vegetable oil combined. Spoons does better food !! That said, drinks were incredible - which was needed to somewhat forget the taste.

Been here during "pie affair day" and I loved it. The pie was delicious and the mashed potato was on point. They had chicken and bacon pie, cheese and onion, and Hawaii pie. Wish I could try them all. Also, this is the first time I visited that bar. It's quite big inside with a sort of antique decoration. Really nice. The staff was super nice and friendly.

Atmosphere - 10/10, very cozy, intimate and warm, drinks very decent, slightly watered down and didn’t feel like you’re getting the quality that you’re paying for and the tacos were good, you get what you’re paying for, they go well with the drinks. it might have been also because it was a busy Friday night, however the staff was very inattentive at first and we had to go up to the front to order 1 by 1 all the time and maybe after 8pm there was a really friendly and accommodating waitress who kept checking on us till the rest of the night.

Amazing tacos, authentic and tasty. Highly recommend the pulled Jackfruit! This is without saying that the owner and staff are very friendly.

I celebrated my bday in this place with a group of 10 and I’m very happy with my choice. The vibe was great, the food and drinks were super tasty, the staff was also very nice! All my friends were very impressed with the place as well, so we will definitely come back! 10/10

Food is incredibly good. Service was terrible. It took 20 minutes for someone to take our order and we approached them twice. Meanwhile staff was smoking cigarettes next to us as we waited. Rude waitress gave us attitude and was not friendly. Drinks order was wrong, which is fine and can happen, but the waitress played the blame game instead of trying yo resolve it when we asked to correct the drinks. Get ure staff in order for 5/5 how hard can it be to hire hospitable waiters.

Waiting time for drinks at the bar was too long, and bartenders can be overwhelmed sometimes. Lots of space inside to sit and a variety of seating configurations.

We arrived at 5 and didn’t get the menu until 5:15. When we finally tried to order, we were told the kitchen wouldn’t open for another 30–40 minutes. Why give us the menu at all, or not warn us first? If google maps says it’s open at 5 kitchen would be open too.

Amazing momos and really nice service! We had chilli momos which they made extra spicy for us, chowmein chicken and sheek kebab.. everything was fantastic Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Chilli momos are our favourite and we will return for more next time. They also serve mango lassi which we will be back to try! There’s ample place around and other food trucks nearby. Great place and nice vibes

I ate here about a month ago during my visit to Berlin. It's super convenient if you're staying close to the station for an easy evening meal. I had the Crispy Chilli Potatoes and the Chicken Momos. Delicious flavours in the dishes and I loved the sauce over the top of the momos. The person serving me also spoke great English.

Really great food! Momos reminiscent of eating in Delhi. Lovely service, do try! They have a great seating area behind as well.

OMG it was literally so good! I found momo house their food stand sporadically next to my hotel. Went for a small bite and I was pleasantly surprised by the taste!! Will go back tomorrow 100%. The service was also a 10 out of 10.

I would not say it is that authentic, tried steamed chicken momo. The filling was too much , not juicy and coating was pretty thick. Chutneys were not good and please stop selling chilli oil in the name of "spicy chutney". Friendly service, great location.

The hot chocolate was amazing. The cappuccino was good, it appears that they do a long pull on the shot so it’s just a tad bitter. The barista was friendly and so was the atmosphere and people at the cafe. Being the only cafe in my neighborhood I hope they will continue to get better.
