Great location and friendly staff. We had the lunch offer for 49 zl pp, which was well composed with a good soup as a starter and to main course we got duck. Heated plates to the main course and an amuse-bouche to start with, shows they care about the guests.

Location was great! Easy check in, but keep in mind that you will be getting your check in at the restaurant, if you get there after hours, you’ll not be able to do so. Also these are historical buildings, meaning no elevator. Comfortable bed, regular in room amenities. Highly recommend.

We stayed in one of the apartments for 2 nights and ate the restaurant twice. Both were superb! Restaurant: elevated Polish dishes, the best sour rye/żurek soup I’ve ever had, and friendly staff. Apartment #1: Wow! Massive and modern with 2 rooms and a big bathroom. Overlooking the square but quiet at night. Strong air conditioning. We loved it and would highly recommend it.

Nice apartament, I’d recommend it — but breakfast was a bit of a letdown. It came in a takeaway basket, all cold, and no coffee. There was an omelette meant to be heated in the microwave, but I don’t like microwave meals.

Great restaurant with great views to the main square at medieval Poznan, great vibe and great food. We asked the waitress for recommendations and everything was tasty. She also was very friendly and polite. The prices are a bit higher but I’d say it’s worth it..

We went here hoping to experience the Polish cuisine. The food was tasty, but it all felt more like a snack bar. You have to order your food at the bar and pay immediately. We wanted to have a starter first and then mains but the menu doesn’t really take starters into account. So we opted for a kids soup (which is half a portion) and as mains we went for jacked potato. I ordered and payed and before I even was back at the table the soup was already served. And halfway the soup the waiter brought our mains. It all felt so rushed, 20 minutes in and we were done with our food. It was tasty and good, but if I you want a restaurant setting I’d recommend going somewhere else. This is more functional food.

My favorite place to eat in Poznań! The staff was super friendly and easy to talk to, the food was amazing, and even the lemonade was great. I had the potatoes with herrings and was really satisfied. The prices are great too, very cheap for the quality. If I ever come back to Poznań, I’ll definitely return to Pyra Bar!

Employees very friendly and helpful, they speak English. The place is very nice decorated, one has to order in the bar and then they take the food to your table, the place has 2 floors, a lot of space inside and a lovely space outside for sunny days. Food was ready in 10 min or less, We payed 26€ for one soup of the day, one (small) Wegenerator casserole, one Szare ale jarskie, one cola and 1 beer. Pretty reasonable price. More than 10 vegetarian options available. The bathroom is clean and nice, the music is not too loud, and the portions are very full filling. I recommend trying this place. What a wonderful place with tasty food. We ordered 3 types of boiled pierogis and all of them were perfect. Chicken liver, russian and cabbage with mushrooms all of them with fried onion on top what was just perfection. 3 types of sauces to go with that. Amazing, soft dough. If you are in Poznań this is a place to eat! Clean and stylish place with nice and clean toilet. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices! DZIĘKUJĘ!

Great place for lunch, both baked and boiled dumplings were delicious. Baked dumplings cheese potatoes and basil. Boiled chicken liver dumplings and cheese potoes😋. The beer was also smooth. Quite a good lunch crowd. Nice view of the saint Peter n Paul church

Best pierogis we’ve ever had. We ordered the boiled pierogies with chicken livers (rich & delicious), and the baked pierogis with chicken, sun dried tomatoes, & gouda, which gave us calzone vibes, yet crispier. So so good. The garlic sauce was divine - very garlicky and creamy. Cannot wait to return to Poznań so we can eat here again.

Perfect place to Go! It was a recommendation of our tour guide. We had a very good beatroot carpacchio as a starter and mixed baked dumplins as a main course. Local brewed beer from the owners friend made it Perfect. Even if it is a moment to Walk from the city center, it‘s absolutely worth.

The staff member who served us was beyond rude...it was actually hilarious. Mega attitude. It's such a shame because the food was great but we still left with a bad taste in our mouths....and a funny story to share with friends. Menu board displays items in Polish and English underneath. They don't serve alcohol. Pay by cash or card.

Better than what we had at a traditional milk bar…at least they offer dumplings with a variety of fillings instead of just cheese. We got a type that we didn’t order…but it actually tasted good, so fine…The soup, however, is quite plain and doesn’t worth the price…

My first time trying pierogi and I was reliably informed by a local that this was the best place to try them. They are freshly made and you can watch staff make them through the window. 10 pieces for 15zlt is a good size snack and a cheap dinner! Choose from many different fillings - you can mix and match if you want to try a few flavours. The dumplings can be served with onions and bacon which gave them more flavour. Can be very filling so take a hungry belly!

Amongst the best Pierogi, I tasted. We ordered: Postne (mushroom + cabbage) Zielone (spinach + feta cheese + walnuts) Kozim Serem (Goat Cheese + Potatoes + cumin) Pros: 1. Pierogi with thin skin. Great flavor. Amongst the best that I had. 2. Cheap. Value for money. Cons: 1. Service without smile.

Great, cosy, calm and inviting atmosphere. Food was lovely and the service was equally excellent. Went as a large group and the service was like clock work. Friendly staff as well and we didn’t feel rushed as is the case with many restaurants trying to turn a table around. So kudos to Bazar 1848. We even learnt a new etiquette from the staff members. ☺️ Lots of variety in the menu to accommodate any dietary needs. Would come back again when next in Poznan

High quality indegriends and tasty dishes bases on various different cuisines. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice insides in a bit industrial style (a lot of steel and wood). Plus for dishes specially for children. One of the best restautants in the city.

Great place for traditional Polish dishes. We were expecting more of a high-end experience, but the dishes turned out to be quite homemade-style and the portions were huge. Although service was excellent, the food was nothing magical.

Great team managed to find a table for us on a busy Saturday. ❤️ We got our meals in less than 15 minutes - salute to the chef. Everything was delicious and we will definitely get back there next time.

This afternoon, we had lunch at Hyćka with an English-speaking group of 22 people. I called two days before to make a reservation and discuss the menu. Hyćka provided exceptional hospitality. We ate delicious Russian dumplings, hash browns with mushroom sauce, Kiev chicken with potato puree, and a lime cheesecake baked freshly a few hours before. The waitresses were kind and attentive, which allowed us to enjoy each other's company. I highly recommend Hyćka for bigger groups.

Food is elegant and amazing. Great prices and lovely atmosphere. The boarshead pie was amazing. Boarshead dumplings were so delicious. My husband had the beef cheeks and was not disappointed, and I had the goulash which did not disappoint. Desserts were so delicious as well. Especially the apple pie with ice cream. I will definitely be coming back.

Hyćka carefully prepares and delivers exceptional traditional polish food with a modern take, yet remains true to the classic. We were treated to a celebration of the humble potato, cabbage and vodka. Paired with wild boar, venison or beef. It’s an ode to the rustic. Servings are large and very flavoursome. A good wine list with elderflower vodka is on offer. We went for a dinner and enjoyed the experience. Getting with sour cream and potato is worth a try. Plenty of interesting mains to choose from too. The servers are very professional and happy to help you pick options you’d like to have. Highly recommend.

Hyćka offers a fantastic introduction to Polish cuisine for American palates. The dishes are hearty, flavorful, and made with Polish care, from 😋 pierogis to plackis, and the meal ended with a sernik cytrynowy and mocna kawa ☕. The staff spoke English and was friendly and patient with us 🇺🇸, making the experience both welcoming and authentic. The restaurant is a great place to taste 🇵🇱 🍴 while feeling at home. We went there for a lunch. The food was delicious, but the cream was added to almost all the pasta they have has on the menu, which is of course not suitable and the dishes, especially with orzo should be prepared as authentic as possible. I also did not like the food quality, which was average, considering the ingredients. Regarding the costs it was rather cheap. I would suggest to increase the prices a bit and provide high quality ingredients. Service itself it was excellent. The ambient is very nice and I like it a lot.

a place with disgusting service, I was seated at a table, given a menu and no one paid any attention to me, the waiters walked past, had nice conversations with neighboring tables, but to make an order I had to go behind the bar, where by the way I also had to wait for about 5 minutes until the bartenders finished their conversation among themselves. They saw me, but continued their conversation laughing. I don’t recommend this place if you are starving. They asked if I want water with lemon, I said yes, and they brought it without 🤦🏻‍♀️ And tartare was too salty unfortunately.

The atmosphere of the place is quite pleasant, and the staff is very polite and welcoming. However, I was disappointed with the coffee—it lacked flavor and wasn’t enjoyable at all. As for the dessert, I tried the cannoli, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. It wasn’t anything like what a proper cannoli should be. Overall, a mixed experience.

This was our first time at this restaurant. The restaurant is not in the centre, so it was a random choice. We got there at business lunch time, so we were pleased with the prices. Frankly speaking, we rarely order Italian cuisine or burgers in restaurants, but this time we asked the waiter for a recommendation on the choice of dish. We were recommended pasta with seafood and a burger with ribs and barbecue sauce. We also ordered the house white wine with the pasta and a classic wheat beer. The order was prepared quite quickly. The burger was very tasty: well toasted bun, excellent meat, tasty BBQ sauce. The seafood pasta was also satisfying: big prawns, soft squid and a nice spicy sauce. Service was unobtrusive but considerate. It's nice that the staff speaks fluent English.

Great place near the city center. Poznan continues to impress me with their cuisine and creativity. My whole party enjoyed all ordered and the waiter (big guy) was fun and helpful. Managed to accommodate dietary restrictions. Recommend.

I had a very good weekday dinner at this small, comfortable restaurant, with adjacent wine and spirits shop. The servers were excellent, especially the sommelier. However, I was disappointed to repeatedly hear the servers use a crumb vacuum (!) between courses, at each table, as needed. Crumb knife or scoop, of course. A brush, yes. Even that manual roller brush device. Maybe. Because none of those items is loud enough to interrupt the conversation at the next table. In any case, I did enjoy the cod with sea lettuce and fennel, and the beef sirloin with side of marrow. Unfortunately, my beef marrow, blue cheese and beetroot biscuit, while delicious, became a bit messy after the first bite. And I really appreciated the Stella Pirrum pear vodka digestif, which, I was told, is distilled in Leszno, specifically for this restaurant (and wine merchant). I will have to return. 2025 04 10. Only 1 Michelin restaurants in town. We have a great time dining here our service lady Dagmala were super kind and knowledgeable. They have quite good wine list and knowledge sommelier. All courses were amazing which is difficult to actually fine in Michelin restaurants, coz many time it is mix. If you are into fine food you won’t be disappointed.

We had the 6-course tasting menu with wine pairing, an outstanding an exciting experience in Poznan, certainly a well-deserved Michelin 1 star. They have an elegant service and a good selection of wines. We started with a very nice cava Llopart Reserva, then three appetizers, the octopus, the fish, the guinea fowl, the tartar, the tenderloin, and finally the deserts. The whole dinner is just history that marked our lives with incredible tasteful combinations, a rainbow of flavours.

Excellent everything! Visited on occasion of a corporate celebration dinner and was delighted by the food, wine and service. Very pleased with the vegetarian set menu.

I gotta say this place is pretty damn good, again I’m a sushi snob and this place I will return to. The fish is great quality and temperature, the chefs know what they are doing and the red dragon roll, wow wow wow! First time in a while that a “speciality” roll was truly great and made me want to order it again right then and there! Bravo team excited to return next time in Poznan

It was above average experience, not sure about best sushi I ever had but I was happy with my choice and food itself. There is not many things to talk about. The sushi was great, same as the quality. Higher price was expectable and something I had in mind when going there. Maybe after all I did expect little bit more for the price. We had plate for 2 people which consisted of 24 pieces of different fish and one vegetarian. Most memorable was the salmon roll, which was exceptional, the other were ok.

Good service, Michal was really friendly and patient. All of the staff I spoke to could speak English. Food was just okay, nothing that blew me away but also nothing that was bad. I tried all of the meat pierogis and some vegetarian ones; the chicken ones were a little bland compared to the seafood, pork and beef ones. The baked ones look pretty different to the photos in the menu, with significantly less filling than advertised. The apricot and peach ice tea was not nice, and made me wish that I had just ordered water instead, but the honey beer was tasty. Restaurant looks pretty cute inside, however the seating by the bar close to the entrance was pretty tight and not too comfortable. I had to climb in and out of my chair as the tables are very close to each other. The large lamps were hung in an inconvenient position, which made it difficult to see the person across from you. It would be nice if it could be hung higher. The cute honeycomb station by the entrance was a nice touch. Customers can use a wooden stick to sample some honey or honeycomb. Most, if not all, of the guests I saw/heard were non-Polish-speaking. It is definitely popular among tourists. It also seems to be pretty family-friendly. All in all, I would probably not recommend going out of your way to visit this restaurant if you are a foodie. It was an okay experience with its main selling points being its good location, cute interiors, good service, and the ability to mix ‘n’ match pierogis.

Pierogi was ok - had better ones at other places in Poznan. Service was good besides the fact that they mixed up the order and have us potato pierogi instead of the chicken one. But, to their credit, they quickly exchanged ours for the correct one when flagged. The drinks were weak. The restaurant is located in a nice old building with cozy seating options which made the dinner nicer than it was.

A very charming restaurant all decorated in wood. Portions of pierogi are generous at 50 zloty aprox. Staff are nice but not overy friendly. They can accommodate groups upon reservation. Can definitely recommend!

I visited on my last night in Poland, following a recommendation from someone who lives in Poznań. I was not disappointed and I enjoyed some amazing food, the staff were warm and friendly and the restaurant is a lovely environment to enjoy a meal. I was a solo diner, but there were lots of people in groups of different sizes. They were busy (Saturday evening), so I had to wait, just under 10 minutes, but that was no issue and well worth the wait. After being shown to my seat I was served by Mikołaj who was extremely pleasant and helped me with some of my Polish too (as I am nowhere close to being able to speak Polish well at all). I dined here on a recommendation, I now recommend the restaurant to everyone reading this review... you will not be disappointed and I am sure to be back next time I visit Poznań. Delicious pierogies and very polite stuff. Me personally I didn’t like the potato pancakes as they were too oily but my partner had no issue so if you’re not into oily stuff better not order them.

A deeply satisfying experience. They actually bake your pies for you, not pop in the microwave. Friendly service. Very lovely for traditional interior. If only they could stop the piped-in horror music. It’s too loud to enjoy a conversation.

Ok, so we accidently passed by the restaurant, little did we know when we sat the Michelin guide logo. We didn't really plan to eat here. But the Michelin guide logo convinced us to try it out. We had two Ramen bowls for lunch and one of them was splendid, but the other one was subpar. We had the Tantan Spicy Meat Ramen, which the staff kindly told is was really spicy (which it unfortunately was not at all). It was flavorful, genuine thich broth and mouthful. Obviously it has been cooked for a long time. We gave this bowl a strong 4 out of 5. The other Ramen bowl that was a big disappointment was the one with Squid (Ika Paitan Ramen) Usually, I love squid, it's delicate and needs to be cooked perfectly. Honestly, it wasn't cooked well enough, it was too soft and almost a bit slimy and did not fit in a bowl of Ramen at all. However, both of the bowls had splendid noodles, they were bouncy and tasty. It is a hit or miss, depending probably on what you pick on the menu for the day. Would I come back? Not sure! There are other Ramen restaurants around town that is worth a visit as well.

Today I have no reservation but luckily having a table without waiting. Vege ramen here is one of the best in Poznań (both Tantan and Smoky Tofu one). I was not able to finish Tantan last time because it’s too large, Smoky Tofu is perfect portion! Nice staffs. Recommend!!!

I tried their grilled chicken rice bowl and ramen with sea food and chicken( I forgot the name) ramen was nice but rice bowl was quiet dry and less flavourfull compare to others ingredients rice was more which makes it more dry. And the worst part is waiting period It feels like intentional... they could make it faster and help their customer not to wait, dont know why they do this! It seems like to show their popularity could be a trick to attract more customers. Also they were taking online order while keeping others waiting thats the part it felt more irritating to wait outside in the cold. hope they will improve this!

I’m sorry to say that I am really confused about how Zen On made it on to the Michelin guide 😕 Pros: Ramen noodles have a good texture; the squid was not overcooked; Service was good and all staff members were friendly Cons: Tantan broth was way too thick; both meals were very heavy and made our bodies feel bad afterwards; the drinks were not nice Wouldn’t come back and wouldn’t recommend unfortunately!

We were looking forward to visiting Zen On, especially given all the hype and high ratings, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. We tried the dim sum, burger, and udon. The dim sum was tasty – the highlight of the meal. However, the burger was served in a bowl with some kind of sauce at the bottom, which made the bun soggy. There were no sides (which I didn’t realize when ordering), and overall, the burger was a bit dry and hard to eat. The udon was also a bit strange – served more like a miso soup with noodles and the toppings on the side. It wasn’t bad, just not quite what we expected. Some might like that style, but for us, it was just okay. The biggest issue was the waiting time – we waited almost an hour for our food without any heads-up, which affected the overall experience. In the end, it was a bit disappointing. The place has potential, but we expected more based on the reviews.

I ordered Tantan spicy meat ramen and it definitely was something else. Creamy broth it's something you need to try if you are a ramen fan. Great opinions about this place are not exaggerated, I certainly reccomend visiting

Unique experience. The most delicious Japan kitchen I've ever tried, not only in Poznan, but in general. Served along with a portion of traditions and history facts. By the way, probably the only known to me restaurant serving real wasabi to suchi rolls.

One of the favorite places in this city! There are many reasons for this: firstly, I love sushi and here they are pretty good, secondly, very fast service and really cool staff. In general, I recommend to see this for yourself!

I’m no expert on Sushi but among all places I’ve been to Kaba is the best. It’s not even close really. They claim you should not use soy sauce because they do their own seasoning by design. They’re RIGHT!

Good food, fast service and low prices. No bathroom though and there were some items that wasn't available, for example they had no risotto.

It is a simple bistro but with a loooong story. I used to visit it when I was studying. Over 20 years later I pop in from time to time to have a quick bolognese, cheese salad and small bottle of Pepsi. Still taste amazing.

First time eating Pierogi and it was really good. Cozy place, nice atmosphere and freshly made Pierogi!

The food was fine – a big plus is the option to try a mix of both savory and sweet dishes. Taste-wise, it was good. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired – the waitress was not very friendly, we didn’t really get along, and she didn’t bring exactly what we ordered. The beer was also disappointing, none of them tasted good. Overall, we’d rate the place as average – the food is okay, but service and drinks definitely need improvement.

Delicious. Had pierogy with veal, goat cheese and pork. All three amazing as well as rosol with noodles. :) clean and quiet, service quick and prepared on the spot fresh.

Pretty nice pszenny. Favourite ones deff Wisnowe & Weganskie. To get full maybe you need around 10-15 pieces. Clean place, clean ambience and work station. Just sad to only use one way curtlery and plates.

Average food with quite small portions. Not good value for money. Poznan has so many great restaurants, but unfortunately this is not one of them.

I think that chef is artist, the designe of the food was breath-taking and the taste was perfect. The restaurant made very nice immpresion to us. Thank you !
