Modern Indian restaurant
Tapasya@Marina is an upscale Indian restaurant located in Hull Marina, offering a stylish bistro-like setting with picturesque views. The restaurant provides a luxurious dining experience with modern Indian cuisine, including dishes like tandoori lobster and lamb biryani. With its spacious and comfortable design, Tapasya is suitable for large parties and offers five menus to cater to different culinary preferences.
It was all genuinely Incredible. I went on a Monday, was a quiet day I liked it that way. I went alone and was well looked after. I thought portion size especially on the main was great. I had to take some home. I want to go back for sure. Definitely on the premium side. It's a fine dining experience but so worth it. High price but high quality.

First time visiting yesterday. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had the lunch menu which was delicious & was a great price. Cocktails were nice too. The restaurant is really nice.
Zoecarl2007 — Google review
Horrible experience. The waiter was extremely unfriendly, we were celebrating our father’s 70th birthday. The waiter continuously dismissed us, even for simple requests such as water for the table. We had to wait 20 minutes until they took our order. We addressed this with management who also didn’t acknowledge why this impacted our experience. Such a shame as I’ve lived in Hull my whole life, and this is by far the worst customer experience I have had in an establishment. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Gail W — Google review
We got Tapasya to cater a private party (75+) at the Humber St Gallery. Our guests absolutely loved the food! It was fresh, tasty and beautifully spiced catering for Gluten free and vegetarian options. No hesitation in recommending!

STUNNING FOOD & EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! So nice that there are still eateries that actually have passion and attention to detail. Thank you for a lovely dining experience!🥰

Delicious food. Great service. Waitress made sure to inform us of dishes that have nuts as one of us is allergic to nuts. A bit on the expensive side.
Marwah A — Google review
Exquisite food and vibrant atmosphere. The place boasts of Michelin 2020, and has a relatively small menu. It’s on the pricier side, but the quality of the food is good. I wanted to enjoy a seafood 🦞 main course as curry 🍛 but none of the seafood main-courses were curry. The laalmans was beautifully flavoured but the meat was dry and shredded. The Gilaafi kabab was brilliant though.
Amar A — Google review
A nice restaurant which offers Indian cuisine foods. It’s located in a prime area near port of Hull with a good outdoor arrangement. The entrance of the place overwhelmed me as there was a idol of Indian God. About food, it’s really amazing. Both quality & quantity is pretty good. Highly recommend if you are visiting Hull & want to taste Indian cuisine.

Nestled in the vibrant Kingswood retail and leisure park, The Kingswood Beefeater is a stylish pub that offers a delightful array of classic international dishes, grill favorites, and mouthwatering burgers. Known for its expertly aged 10oz rib eye steaks, grilled to perfection and served with hearty sides like triple-cooked chips and peppercorn sauce, this family-friendly restaurant also features enticing mixed grill options.
Great restaurant and bar. Good meeting place and great for a family night out or celebration. Food is good for a steakhouse, with regular vouchers available making it reasonably inexpensive. Friendly service and quite a good atmosphere, no loud music blaring out. Tables, chairs, carpets and decor are a little outdated. Staff are attentive and friendly, no long waits for food. But reasonably impressed and will visit regularly
Neil D — Google review
It was our first visit to Beefeaters today and it's not going to be our last. From start to finish, it was amazing: We went in the morning, during the week for an unlimited breakfast. Parking was plentiful and free, I just had to use the computer at the entrance to log my registration. Easy. Upon entry, we was greeted by a friendly member of staff who guided us to our table and explained everything really well. The quality and availability of the food was perfect: everything was fresh and hot at the English breakfast bar, also amazingly tasty, and I consider myself quite a fussy eater with regards to the quality of products. The continental breakfast bar looked equally as amazing, but I didn't get around to having any - my sons both said it was all yummy though. They had lots of fruit and yogurt from it. I had plenty of fruit juice and a lovely flat white coffee - both were great quality! The atmosphere was really pleasant too: background music that wasn't too loud that you had to shout over it, and not too low that you couldn't enjoy it. All the tables were very clean and I noticed staff cleaning around the area, even doing booth windows. I would highly recommend this place. It will surprise you.

just want to say a huge thank you to Kate for the absolutely wonderful service we received. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel incredibly welcome — warm, friendly, and attentive throughout. Her timing was perfect, she knew the menu well, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Kate has that rare quality of making every guest feel special. She struck the perfect balance between being professional and personable, and her genuine smile and positive attitude really added to the experience. It’s not often you come across service this good — it truly made our visit memorable. Thank you again, Kate — you’re a credit to your team, and we’ll definitely be back because of you!

Such a shame Beefeater needs constant offers to lure you in, it's never ending. Truth is would i pay these amounts for main meals and be satisfied? Absolutely no chance. Up your game on the food and you wouldn't have to have NEVER ENDING VOUCHERS? In true most people wouldn't eat here without the discounts. People eventually move on to nicer food, value for money etc. Staff are lovely.

Picture: £15.99 burger with chips. Not worth it! Ordered the potato dippers with no BBQ sauce. Paid £1.50 for a change to mayo. Got the potato dippers with BBQ sauce. Had to ask staff to take the mayo off the bill. The potato dippers were just soggy cheesy chips which felt microwaved with spring onions on top. For the price I would have expected potato skins with a choice of dip. All starters came with BBQ sauce and you had to pay to swap it for another sauce, even just mayo. 10 minutes later the dessert arrived for one of our party before the mains had even arrived. Mains took quite some time to arrive. I had finished my drink well before they came. Ordered the double burger with no BBQ sauce. Burger was nice, chips were okay, coleslaw was a very small amount and was clearly a very cheap type, as it wasn't very nice at all. Significantly overpriced for what was received. Had to ask for cutlery as none was provided after the starter. Cutlery was dumped in the middle of the table a minute later. Nobody checked on us to see if the food was okay. Asked for dessert menus but were provided with only one to share. Decided against dessert except one who had already ordered theirs. Staff were generally okay, somewhat disinterested, and did seem to be thin on the ground. Megan was an exception, nothing was too much trouble. We were waiting a little longer than I would have expected for food and table clearing. Other staff were behind the bar area near the kitchen doors on their phones, texting often throughout our visit. Seating was fine. Toilets smelled of bleached urine and screws were sticking out of walls. Definitely won't return.

Popped in for Sunday lunch, hadn't booked but found us a spot . Welcoming staff good food but had to wait a short while for it ( 20 mins ). Was to be expected as we weren't expected . Overall good experience.

Can only comment on the bar as did not have food. Popped in for a few drinks great service and atmosphere. Kimmy at the bar was very polite and gave us great service 👍

Could not fault this Beefeater! As a family of 7 who was turned away from other local restaurants for group size but just wanted to feed our kids on our way home we were very grateful that Beefeater went out of their way to make space for us. The staff were amazing and friendly, particularly Megan, they interacted with the kids a lot and the food was just as amazing! Especially the sundaes! We thought the bill at the end was incredibly reasonable given that we all had a main, two drinks and dessert. We hope to be back again soon!

First dinner out with my partner in nine months and we'll definitely be back! From the moment you walk out in to the moment you walk out the service is friendly, the atmosphere pleasant and the food is phenomenal! We got the set menu for two but, as other reviews have said, it'll probably feed us for two days! It was very nicely presented, you're not rushed at all and the staff catered for my fiancée's dietary requirements perfectly. Thank you!

Was about to visit Thailand, so thought we would get used to some of the cuisine by visiting Thai House. Lovely food with a range of flavours and heat levels to tickle most pallates. This is now our third visit here and have had a good consistent experience enjoying lovely food, even if the service level is a little more laid back...just like the mother country. Good things come to those who wait.

If I could give an extra star I would. Absolutely delicious meal tonight, I cannot fault it in any way. The staff were lovely, so friendly, and helpful. I wanted one of the spicier curries but not as spicy, they made it mild for me. (Thankyou) I had a dumpling soup to start it was so good, I then had the mixed seafood curry. Fresh food reasonable priced I will 1000000% be back again soon

If you're looking for a true dining restaurant experience, then this is the best place to go. Thai House has more than proven itself over many years.... This isn't junk food, but true dining experience and authentic....... 👏

Second time visiting Thai house this time with my work colleagues. All 10 of us ordered food from the bottomless menu the food came out really fast and the staff seemed to be permanently at our table delivering food or taking orders. We all ordered around 10 dishes and everything that came was exceptional I would give the food 10 stars if I could.

We'd been meaning to visit for a long time so when a valentine's meal came along we took our chance. Excellent food, excellent service and excellent value. The unlimited menu was on, so smaller portions but loads of choice. We are both vegan and there wasn't much that hadn't been veganized just to make our lives easier.
Steve C — Google review
Best selection of vegan and vegetarian options in Thai Cuisine! We have been regulars for years and have had the pleasure of enjoying Thai food which is quite difficult to find for vegetarians/vegans. Kudos to the team for delivering such an accessible and diverse menu. Definitely try the Massaman curry, Pad Thai, vegan 'fish' or vish and Tom Yum fries which are standout!

Chinese restaurant
Yinjibar in Hull is a hidden gem offering authentic Asian cuisine, including sushi, dim sum, and Chinese noodle dishes. The simple dining room with Chinese lanterns creates a traditional and friendly atmosphere perfect for large groups of friends and families. While the menu is expansive, some find it messy and confusing. However, the food is praised for its generous portion sizes and quick service.
I was in Hull and looking for a great Chinese restaurant when Yinjibar came highly recommended. It certainly lived up to the hype! We tried the chili chicken, duck pancakes, and vermicelli noodles, and everything was absolutely delicious. The service was top-notch as well. It's cash only, but I'd happily walk to an ATM just for the chance to dine here. We also enjoyed a pot of green tea, which was flavorful and refreshing. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Hull!
ADG — Google review
Honestly, it's one of the best Chinese I've ever had! Super tasty and authentic food, not too greasy and packed with flavour. Would definitely recommend the 'Chinese tea'. Only issue is that the portions were huge, so bring a good appetite!
Michael A — Google review
Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. We started with the spring rolls, which tasted like they came straight from a frozen packet—no freshness or proper texture. The prawn sesame toast came with three pieces, and one of them was undercooked, pale in color and not crispy at all. The lemon honey chicken was by far the worst dish of the night. The chicken was dry and tough to chew, and the sauce was thin, watery, and lacked flavor. We also ordered the sweet and sour shrimp as a main, but it didn’t live up to expectations either. The sauce was overly sweet, very light in color, and tasted more like a mix of starch, sugar, and water than a proper sweet and sour sauce—even as a dipping sauce it wouldn’t work. To top it off, the timing of the food was very poorly managed. Appetizers came out at the same time as the mains, and the soup arrived when we were nearly done eating. Overall, the food quality and service coordination need serious improvement. Not a place I would return to.
Dr. K — Google review
Cute place if you are craving some nice traditional chinese food. We were visiting the area and found this nice place on Google Maps. I am vegan so I asked for a nice tofu with vegetables dish. It was really tasty. ✨✨ The only con was the final bill, prices are higher then expected. Thank you✌️
Tara B — Google review
The food used to be good and with large portions. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. £18.20 for a special curry, a portion of chips and a starter of deep fried chicken wings. As the picture shows for £6.50 you get 4 tiny wings, it's embarrassing that they think this is acceptable. The curry was basically full of onion with only 2 prawns and a few pieces of chicken and beef. They have let themselves down with tonight's takeaway. I appreciate prices have risen but for £18.20 it wasn't anywhere near value for money or good quality.
Paul D — Google review
The food is nice, Good service and atmosphere. Can't give 5 stars because they accept cash only, which could be a bit stressful for customers. Having to walk down to town to withdraw cash. For everything else, they are spot on!

Simply one of the best Chinese restaurants in Hull the place is an institution! Delicious food for a fair price. Friendly waiter and a great atmosphere what more do you need. We had the crispy squid to start followed by vegetable fried noodles, roast BBQ pork and crispy tofu that was incredible. Lots of exciting options on the menu we will be back to try something different.

Children's party buffet
The Real China is a popular Chinese restaurant located in St Stephen's Shopping Centre, known for its extensive all-you-can-eat menu featuring a variety of Asian dishes at affordable prices. The restaurant offers favorites such as Sweet & Sour Chicken and Crispy Chilli Beef. Customers can enjoy takeaway options with discounts for larger orders, making it convenient for families or groups. Despite the limited buffet selection, the friendly staff and value for money make it a go-to spot for satisfying Chinese cuisine in Hull.
Top notch Chinese buffet. The queue outside will give you a clue they this place is worth visiting. 10 minute wait to get in (despite various empty tables spotted inside) although the staff do try and call smaller groups forward when space comes available. Huge selection of hot Chinese fare, all readily topped up. Plates of average size, however as it is all you can eat (terms and time limit apply) you can go back as often as you wish. Fizzy drinks on tap to help yourself, if you choose this as an option (payable). Dessert selection available also, with cake, fruit and various ice cream. Delicious food and would definitely go again.

Tried real china for the first time today with my friend. The food and value for money were fantastic. Most of the dishes were turned over and fresh and each had individual flavours, my friends favourite was the curry and mine was the satay was gorgeous. Really had a nice time in a relaxed atmosphere and would definitely return. Couldn't go wrong for £14.95!
Benjamin W — Google review
Food is lovely with plenty of choice. Staff are welcoming and always polite, the young lad clearing tables asked each time if he could take our empty plate away. The price has increased, we went for lunch mid week and it was £54 for 3 adults with soft drinks and you're now limited to 90 minutes (which is plenty of time for most people)
Cheryl S — Google review
This is a budget-friendly Chinese buffet where you get what you pay for. I walked in without a reservation, and it wasn’t an issue. The cost was £17.75 for dinner and one drink, which I thought was reasonable, though you pay before eating. The selection isn’t vast, but it covers the basics. The table was a bit sticky and wobbly. The food was neither outstanding nor awful—the noodles were quite bland, but the duck pancakes were enjoyable. Overall, I wouldn’t be in a hurry to return
ADG — Google review
Value for my money with an unbeatable price. Tasty food I got a full course for just £13 with two drinks. A must visit whenever you are in Hull. It is located at St Stephens mall in the heart of Hull. A lot to eat for a fair price with seafood choices.

The dining experience at this establishment sounds quite enjoyable. The food offerings appear to be plentiful and diverse, catering to various tastes. The flavors likely provide an authentic taste of the cuisine. Overall, it seems like a great place to enjoy a satisfying meal with friends and family.

Went here for lunch, after a short wait for a table we were seated. The selection of food was good and well presented, tables were clean and staff were always available to take away dirty pots ready for the next trip to the buffet. Good range of food with plenty of choice so something for everyone. The desserts cake was nice and we left very full and ready for home.
Alex S — Google review
Visited on a Sunday lunchtime. Arrived to find a queue of about 15 in front of us. 5 minutes later we were shown to a table because the people infront of us were waiting for larger tables (we were a party of 2) The staff were very friendly and cleared the tables promptly. The food was nice, not as much choice as other buffet locations - but the lower price reflects this. Love the refill drinks option! Would definitely go back if I was in Hull again.

Cantonese restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Cottingham, Woksoever is a beloved gem for fans of Asian cuisine. With its cozy and traditional decor, this restaurant has become a go-to spot for locals and newcomers alike. The all-you-can-eat menu offers an impressive selection at a reasonable price, making it ideal for large gatherings or casual dinners with friends. Diners rave about the quick service and friendly staff who ensure your experience is seamless—from ordering to enjoying your meal.
Had a great first time experience, with friends at Woksoever. We all had the all you can eat option, at £27.99. The food was fabulous, all cooked to order, with a fantastic selection of dishes. Can highly recommend the crispy beef in chilli sauce, deep fried chicken balls, with sweet & sour sauce, chicken in lemon sauce, beef in Cantonese sauce, but to be honest every dish was very tasty. Service was excellent too.
Sioux W — Google review
Not the best experience. We totally understand that waiting time can be longer at busy times, however, I would be so much better if there was a french table with all the sides (rice, noodles etc) we were waiting for noodles over 25min, by the time we got it, the main dish was cold. Also the food was really salty, I mean I have never eaten black bean sauce dish that was so salty. Some chicken dishes like cashew nuts chicken were absolutely tasteless. I am only giving 3 stars as the staff was lovely and helpful.
Jim U — Google review
We booked a table here yesterday - as we were due to see a show at the Back Room - seeing as it is the only restaurant Asian wise. We walked in, first thing I noticed was how tired the whole place looked, with two tables eating. Taken to the table, with 2 different menus, we were sat by the kitchen, where no food or smells where coming from it, the menu had very basic dishes, nothing of restaurant quality so we quickly thought oh no, this isnt going to be good. Bottle of local beer - £5.80! and I ordered a Baileys - £4.90 for a mouthful it's cheaper in London for drinks in China Town!! Food arrived, a chicken satay and beef in black bean sauce, it was the awful congealed gloop - that you would get warmed up from a back street takeaway. Took minutes to be warmed up , obviously not cooked fresh. Tasted bland and nasty. I feel sorry for the people of Cottingham - if this is what they have to offer. The pubs were also chavvy. Full of school kids, and people with pushchairs. Why Paul Tonkinson the comedian chose this village I will never know.

We had one of the special takeaways at £17 per person. This was undoubtedly one of the best Chinese meals I have had and the only criticism is that there was so much food we had three meals each of out it! The starters alone fed us Saturday night; the rest of the starters made lunch on Sunday and we had the mains on Sunday night - and there is still some for lunch tomorrow! Excellent food and certainly excellent value

Saturday night and it was absolutely bouncing at half 7! We were pre-booked and it looked to be the only empty table when we arrived. Groups of all sizes, waiters flying around with food or empty plates. What an atmosphere! It was an an order and eat as much as you want meal £29.99 per head. Round tables and turn tables in the middle to move the food easily around the table . A very large menu choice and everything ordered appeared quickly, was hot and exceptionally tasty! 👍 Too many to list! It's obvious why this place has such a good reputation! Had an amazing night out. Ate far too much! 😂

Not what you expect from a eat all you like, you cant even see any food or go get any and it is top price. This is a expensive restaurant at 27 each to and it is very controlled and crowded place. How do you be a eat all you like buffet but no food in site to select or even pick and the menu is diabolical for such a expensive place.

Finally tried fried milk balls for the first time and they were delicious. The rest of the food was great, also very filling. The staff were efficient and friendly.

Vietnamese restaurant

Bubble tea store
Viet Memories is the first and finest Vietnamese restaurant in Hull, offering a laid-back environment for enjoying Vietnamese sandwiches, noodle bowls, and salads. The menu caters to both meat-eaters and vegetarians/vegans with options like summer rolls, tofu lemongrass specials, non-meat curries and stews, papaya salad, and non-dairy ice cream. Located near St. Stephens shopping centre, it's known for serving healthy and traditional Vietnamese cuisine at affordable prices.
The perfect place for a delicious meal without breaking the bank. I'll admit I was a little sad to see the previous restaurant Wokkas go, for years their venue had been my go to, off the beaten track which despite being in plain view, not many people seemed to know about. I always loved introducing new people to it. However, having now visited Viet Memories on numerous occasions with various friends and family I can say my concern was misplaced! This restaurant introduces something entirely different to the Hull food scene! The dishes are authentic, tasty and incredibly affordable with so much variety and caters for all diets. The lunch offer of a main meal and drink for £10 is an absolute steal, generous portions of quality food! Everything tasted so fresh and vibrant, plates were presented beautifully and tasted even better. The Boba Teas are something else! My first time having one I ordered the coconut milk with lychee popping balls 😍 subtle, sweet, morish. If you've never visited add this to your foodie bucket list!

What a great dinner I just had! Taste delicious, good portions, friendly staff, decent price!! What else do you need? If I came to Hull again, I’ll definitely bring my family there to try more different dishes!!! 😋

An absolute delight hidden away. I didn't even notice this place, and I've passed it many times. A grand menu of different options and bites to eat and the food is spectacular. Definitely a small lovely little venue with some tasty treats and a nice decor. Food was hot and quick. Definitely a good hidden gem of Hull.

We decided to come here after seeing all the great reviews. Really close to St Stephens shopping centre. This place does good bubble tea, juices, coffee and Vietnamese summer rolls which were tasty; but the salads and pho was lacking a lot of flavours. Perhaps ownership or chefs have changed but still didn’t taste nice or have any of the vibrant flavours as it should. Staff are super friendly, welcoming and helpful though.
Lisa L — Google review
This little Vietnamese restaurant is not pretentious and not over priced. The food is authentic and excellent. The restaurant is clean and the staff really are genuinely friendly. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted with a wonderful welcoming smile from the young lady. The service was wonderful and she was so helpful. What we liked most of all, is that you can watch the food you are about to eat being prepared and cooked through the glass screen. As we left all the staff wished us well and we hope to return one more time before we return to London. If we could give this restaurant ten stars we would. This restaurant is a jewel in Hull!
Tony F — Google review
The best food in Hull in my opinion :) Staff is so attentive and almost everything can be made gluten and dairy free (lots of vegan options too). Pho is delicious as well as the drinks. Small place but so worth it!
Raquel P — Google review
Having been to Vietnam and tasted their delicious authentic food, i found the beef soup noodles and stir-fried tofu asparagus that i had at Viet Memories short of the natural Vietnamese flavours. Nonetheless the food were still quite tasty.
Denise J — Google review
Better than sex! If you like spicy, and you're vegan curious, this rocks! Canteen vibe to the seeting, so don't come for the ambience, but the food is tip top!

Chinese restaurant
Restaurant
Oriental Palace is one of the best authentic Chinese restaurants in the UK. The food is great, and the staff are very kind and helpful. It's a great place to go for a meal.
My girlfriend and I visited the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. We will definitely be going again when were back at uni!
Reece B — Google review
Was pretty excited to eat here but left really disappointed. Meat dish portion sizes were suspiciously small for like £12-13. Food didn't taste great and service was lacking and disinterested? Could be that we just came on a bad day. Felt a bit out of place due to the service and other customers staring and making some unnecessary looks. Overall I wouldn't plan on coming back in all honesty.
Hayley E — Google review
The best Chinese in all UK! I have been to dozens of Chinese restaurants and this one beats all together! The food is just amazing and the staff is very kind and helpful, can't fault it in any way, love it! GO!!!
Luis A — Google review
Sticky tasteless food with very small portion for the price. Chef special of stewed beef brisket, 5 piece of sliced of something, taste tender but nothing like beef. The vegetarian meal has 4 piece of Tofu instead of seafood but charged the same price. Get 2 star because the staff seems friendly.
Xiaomeng W — Google review
This place is absolutely wonderful. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, there is such a comfortable atmosphere. We found this place looking for other places that make dim sum in the area and we are so glad we did as this has become our new favourite place. The waiter is really friendly and approachable, they are so attentive and so are the owners. You can tell they care alot about their customers and their food. The dim sum is made fresh on site by an extremely experienced dim sum chef that has come up to live from london. It is hands down the best I have tried. We were hesitant as it is situated near the busy bev road crossroads but there is a large car park behind, accessed from the side street on bev road and there are always plenty of spaces. No time limit and no parking restrictions. It's such an easy place to get to and it really is a lovely experience. The food is fantastic and the prices are really reasonable. Definately the best place to eat in hull. We will be coming back as often as we can.

Nice friendly restaurant. Was quite busy Saturday night and a popular spot for the local Chinese community which is always good. I had some Chinese vegetables and seafood on crispy noodles which was good. The chilli oil could be a lot hotter. Also a couple of drinks which came to just over £20. There seems to be a lot of Chinese uni students.

Very good authentic Chinese food. I was there with my Chinese girlfriend and some friends. She liked it, which is not always the case when we look for a good chinese dinner. Easy to find, take any of the buses going up or down Beverley Road, bus stops are nearby.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful culinary experience, look no further than Malai Thai Street Food, located in the lively Newland Avenue area of Hull. This charming eatery boasts a cozy ambiance with its inviting brick and wood decor, making it an ideal spot to enjoy classic Thai curries, stir-fries, noodles, and fried rice.
Absolutely delicious food. Great choice of beers. Very reasonable prices.

As you can see from all the positive reviews, this place is great and deserves nothing but praise. Booking is generally required and recommended as only a small restaurant. I've yet to see it anything but fully booked with multiple walk-in's having to be turned away but politely offered their takeaway service. The staff are all warm, friendly and attentive. They are always happy to explain menu items and offer recommendations based on your preferences. The food is always delicious with no long waits after ordering. There's a reason its always full and, if you enjoy Thai food, I can't imagine anyone not having a positive experience here.

Delicious and authentic Thai food. Everything perfectly spiced with cozy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Great selection for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free people
Klaudia P — Google review
We happened upon this lovely restaurant whilst wandering on Newland Avenue. Wanting to try somewhere different for lunch we thought this would tick that box. Lovely, cosy interior. Nicely decorated with Thai touches throughout added to the decor. Toilet facilities clean and well stocked. Now to the food... 2 courses for £14.95 each. Very good value. Lattes each for our beverage. Tiger prawn starter and a beef curry main for hubby. Vegetable starter and Quorn & vegetable stir-fry main for me. Food arrived piping hot. All freshly cooked to order. Totally fabulous flavours and presentation. Faultless dining experience including the lovely table staff. I highly recommend and will definitely return.

Last minute visit here for lunch today and we was not disappointed! The spring rolls tempura veg and prawns were amazing we ordered the Thai green curry and a spicy stir-fry both were so so good. All food was fresh and piping hot and very good value for money 4 starters 2 mains and 4 beers £48 bargain will definitely be returning and would highly recommend. Thanks to the waitress that served us couldn't of asked for better.

What a great find, you cannot go wrong doing your research before you go to cities for a visit.. to any restaurants or bars. Food was exceptional, very very tasty, great friendly service definitely recommend visiting here. We booked a table in advance of visiting Hull for a weekend stay.

My partner and I drove from Scunthorpe to try this place and we’re glad we did! I love Thai food and this place was fantastic, the atmosphere is so cosy and the staff were all very kind and the right level of attentive, the food was delicious and we’ll be coming back soon to try other things! We usually always order the same foods but looking at their specials we’re coming back specifically to ‘push the boat out’ a little because they sounded great! Price was more than reasonable for what we could tell was all fresh home-style cooking, even the sauces were homemade and fresh, and it doesn’t feel loud or cramped in their either. Would highly recommend to Thai food lovers and anyone wanting to try something new, you won’t regret it, do book if you want to go though as they were full for our whole meal! And it was a Tuesday, without a booking I doubt that you’ll get in on the busier days of the week

First time here, and will definitely be coming back. Small and intimate setting, with a warm and friendly welcome. The food is just amazing, and a good choice of dishes on the many. If you like Thai food, then make sure you add this place to your list of places to visit. They do takeaway too.

Went tonight for the first time. I have a health condition which means eating out is difficult. However they went out of their way to ensure the food I received was tailored to me. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing. The Manager was so lovely and the Chef even checked what I’d ordered and offered an alternative which was delicious. Will be back!

Now I've never had Korean ribs before and I can happily say these were beautiful. The sticky sauce accompanied by the crushed peanuts and chill garlic blew me away . The Singapore noodles were cooked perfect as usual

Only marked down as Evie whilst lovely and friendly, was clearly new and didn't know the menu. We had a dispute over the sharing desserts and each plate was brought out and taken back as forgot what it was. We were a table if 7 and it was busy, so wouldn't put us off going back as the food was lush (once we knew whose was whose)

It's a very cute restaurant, intimate and small. The decoration is minimal but it's still a lovely vibe. The service was lovely, especially coming here alone - very welcoming. I ordered two different sushi and they were delicious and you get a lot for the price! Definitely will be back again!

The best Japanese food I've ever had!, lots of great, fresh options from sushi, ramen, dumplings and rice bowls which change every couple of months so there's always something new to try. The service is fast and the evening services are always fantastic, incredibly well priced for the amount of food you get as well, would highly recommend!

Really great pan-Asian restaurant. Don't let the outside fool you, there's a lovely, cosy sitting area upstairs. Attentive, friendly service that didn't get in our way. Lots of different options for meat-eaters, pescetarians, vegetarians and vegans all handmade in the kitchen downstairs. I had a lovely eggplant soy and vegan gyozas. Super tasty. Can't believe it's taken me so long to get here. Can't wait to go back.

What a find! A lovely and unique Japanese experience in a characterful yet unassuming location. A super friendly and helpful welcome was followed by a very accommodating ordering experience. The food that was delivered was fantastic. The Smokey Tonkotsu broth was creamy, rich and well balanced. The Chasu pork was beautifully scorched, tender and bursting with flavour. The fresh ramen noodles were perfectly firm to the bite and coated with the broth. The burnt leeks added a texture and bitterness that mixed with the soft yoke egg made this one of the best bowls of ramen I have ever had. Can’t wait to come back ❤️ 🍜
Roddy A — Google review
Excellent ramen, with a vegetarian and vegan version available. Good sushi too. It does have seating upstairs. It would have been a little chilly but luckily we got the table with the blow heater pointed in our direction.
