Mott 32 Cebu offers exceptional food and service, making it a great choice for special occasions. The staff is attentive to details like birthdays, surprising guests with desserts and birthday songs. However, some diners found the serving process a bit chaotic, as dishes were not all served together. Despite this, many enjoyed their dining experience and appreciated the delicious food offerings.
From the hostess to the servers we can't thank them enough for making our dining experience really special. They were most patient in explaining the dishes and making a spectacle in every dish presented. The dishes we ordered were all wonderfully curated with flavors well balanced and freshness of the ingredients is noticeable in every bite.
Albert-Jan S — Google review
We ordered black cod fish - salty but smokiness was made up for it Crispy squid - feels like the oil is old you can taste the oil in the squid salty too Noodles - pretty ok I could have gotten it in a better price for the quality Hot and sour soup xiao long Bao is ok - salty Iberico charsiu - at first it was too sweet, the second is salty…weird anyway the char is a good add to the overall taste and the iberico is good the second one you can taste the herbiness which is good Duck - the wrapper is good, the sauce is meh, the taste plain, crispy as it should be but I feel peking garden is way better. Second way of the duck we chose the minced one - overcooked too dry and too much soy sauce - not good My sister in law says it was way better before since it’s my first time for the price even with the discount I still wouldn’t come back. Once is enough just to say I ate there Oh service… some were ok but most of the servers were very indifferent, I guess because we were complaining already as they serve the dish. But hey you have to be better for the price When the bill came out there was a dispute on the price of the iberico the website says one thing and they charge us higher! What is weird again they have a waiver on the take out…

On a recent trip to Cebu, my partner and I decided to try the new Cebu branch of “Mot 32.” It is in the brand new, squeaky clean “NuStar” Casino. Where this restaurant really shines is the atmosphere – it is chic, elegant, and transports the diners to Hong Kong. What needs work? The service. We had a reservation, we were a little earlier but the restaurant wasn’t busy so we were seated right away. It took a long time to get the waiter’s attention to order anything, however we ordered a bottle of wine, and the sommelier was the only one who seemed to pay attention (returning to pour the wine). The waiter was totally inattentive after taking our order – which is pretty abysmal given the price point to this restaurant. The food was so so. Part of the problem may have been what we ordered, our least favorite dish was the glutinous with Chinese sausage – not something I would have ordered, but my partner wanted it – flavor was edible, but the smell was honestly like wet dog (I don’t know how else describe it). My favorite dish were the green beans with beef, the dumplings were scallop, but the flavor was overpowered by the little wooden things they were served on, we also had cucumber in vinegar and soy sauce – a simple staple – overall not the best I have had. Everything was mediocre and overpriced. Then at the end, they charged my credit card in U.S. dollars without asking me which made the whole meal more expensive - a total scam. While I would say it’s worth a try (the duck is supposed to be good), like a lot of meals I have had in the Philippines, it just was not worth the price or the hype – perhaps it is just the growing pains of being a new restaurant, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

Great ambience! The best Peking duck I have had ever! Standouts were the yeung chow rice, crispy pork, and the two way Peking duck! Service crew were very attentive. Would go back again and again.
Ciara L — Google review
The restaurant is stunning! From the table set up, the restaurants, to the bar…absolutely gorgeous. The food came out in great timing with everything fresh and hot. Stand outs were the black cod and the mango dessert.
Traci V — Google review
Had the chance to dine at Mott 32 in Nustar and it was an experience worth sharing. The ambiance is superb, it's giving modern, elegant, and definitely giving a fine dining atmosphere. We tried some of their signature dishes, and the highlight for me was the Apple Wood Roaster Pecking Duck. The skin was perfectly crisp, and the flavor really stood out. The staff during our meal was very attentive and made sure that we were comfortable. The staff was very attentive throughout our meal and made sure we were comfortable. Prices may be on the higher side, but given with the quality of food and service, I can honestly say it’s super worth it, especially if you’re treating yourself or celebrating a special occasion.
Maria R — Google review
I think it would have been best if the Cebu branch wasn't my first experience with Mott 32. I had heard great things about their Peking Duck in Bangkok. After a week of local food, I wanted some proper duck. I lived in Beijing for 3 years and after many, many ducks, my favorite two were the contrasting styles of Mr China and Dadong. The Peking Duck here, however, was almost unedible. None of the fat in between the skin and meat melted away. The opening slices of skin had a thick underlining of fat attached to it. And the slices of skin and meat reminded me of Korean 3 layer pork belly BBQ because of the thick layer of fat in the middle. Most of the Duck was uneaten because of the overpowering oiliness. I think the Cebu branch should cease to serve Peking Duck if they can't do it properly. And, I wished they didn't give me the window seat; looking out constantly at the dirty and foggy windows was a bit gloomy.

Must experience this place…. . . . Are you looking for a full immersion culinary experience? This is the place. Now, quality and atmosphere has a price. Don’t be cheap and start complaining about high prices because this place is not only about the food, it’s about the experience. Kudos for the manager, investors, owners and brains that thought about placing this restaurant in this place to rump up the level of the gastronomic offer of Cebu city. We chose this place for a special occasion and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Service was absolutely amazing, with staff fully dedicated to our needs, always attentive, always polite, fast and knowledgeable, a total pleasure to be around. Then there’s the food. Exquisite presentation, incredible execution and magnificent quality of products and recipes. Totally deserve all the stars they can get. Cocktails were fun and a good variety of options to chose from, and dessert was just to die for. Either for a special occasion or just to delight yourself into a gastronomic experience I totally recommend this restaurant! Top notch location and so very well decorated with booths that create an amazing privacy setting. Don’t miss it.

Chinese restaurant
Buffet restaurant
Ding Qua Qua Dimsum House is a beloved gem in Cebu, renowned for its authentic dim sum and tea offerings that transport diners straight to the heart of Mainland China. This charming establishment boasts an inviting atmosphere and attentive service, making it perfect for family gatherings or business lunches. The star attraction here is undoubtedly the Great Dimsum Buffet, where guests can indulge in a delightful array of signature dishes like crispy spring rolls and traditional siomai, all beautifully presented in a buffet style.
Ding Qua Qua offers classic dimsum favorites in a lively, nostalgic atmosphere. The siomai is juicy and pairs perfectly with their chili sauce, while the steamed rice is a flavorful comfort dish. Food refill is quick, but reservations are needed to secure a table, as it tends to get busy. They also have ice cream for dessert. It's an ideal spot for dimsum cravings and catching up with friends over a relaxed dinner.
Paulo N — Google review
If you are craving of siomai and steam rice from dimsum, Ding Qua Qua is the best option to dine and eat to “sawa” they have 2 variant of siomai, chicken feet, steam rice and many more. This restaurant is offering eat all you can at P436 per head on weekdays and 451 on weekends. Matagbaw ka ug kaon sa unlimited siamao here. Ding Qua Qua, Dimsum breaks are same company.
Alma ( — Google review
A Cebu classic. Still offers the same good quality comfort food that most Cebuanos grow up with. Place is clean, spacious and staffs are super nice and efficient. Food quality is good. Just wish they offer more variety esp on the desserts. Worth the price considering the quality of the dimsums.
Audric S — Google review
Steamed rice and plain Siomai were good as usual but the Siomai took long to restock which was annoying. There was no buchi or ice cream too which was disappointing. Went here for lunch on a Monday.
Isabel O — Google review
Ding Qua Qua delivers timeless comfort with its perfectly cooked steamed rice, plump siomai, and rich, melt-in-your-mouth patatim—a personal favorite that never disappoints. The generous buffet and thoughtful service impressed me, especially their kind accommodation of our awarding ceremony in the conference room. A satisfying experience all around.
Recososa F — Google review
The resto doesnt have concrete plan as to the walk ins. A lot of tables empty because they are reseved but no time as to when the guest will Arrive.. has been standing out here for 1hr and mind you, our priority number is 2 since 11am. No mamagers and owner taking accountability of the delay. Much better if you look for other resto if you are hungry and in a rush
Jan P — Google review
Good experience. Food is fresh and tasty. Ice-cream is good. Please see pics. Service was good. Gets busy, try to go before 1145 to beat the rush.

Good experience. Affordable all you can eat dim sum with desserts. I like siomai so I’m here for a lot of siomai. The Ice cream is not bad.

Casino hotel
NUSTAR Resort & Casino is a luxurious destination in Cebu, offering an array of amenities and experiences. The resort features the first and only Italian steakhouse in the area, Il Primo, which serves authentic Italian dishes in an elegant setting. The architecture is superb, with state-of-the-art facilities and welcoming interiors. Guests can enjoy a fully automatic comfort room for ultimate relaxation. The 5-star hotel provides a lavish and rejuvenating experience with its luxurious amenities and exceptional service from friendly staff.
I enjoy the Casino very much. However I wish their marketing was a little clearer. When I checked the website at first months ago, I was to the understanding it was still under construction and not open. Someone told me while talking one day they are open and I have been Twice in a week. Both times visiting Texas Roadhouse (great steak btw) and my wife and I have enjoyed playing in the Casino very much. However I have not stayed at the Hotel. But I am sure it is nice.
Bee S — Google review
We had an excellent dining experience at Texas Roadhouse! The food was delicious — from the ribs set and sirloin steak to the refreshing drinks, everything was cooked perfectly and served hot. What truly made our visit memorable was the outstanding service provided by Ms. Summer. She was very dynamic, attentive, and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her energy and friendliness added so much to the overall experience. Highly recommend this branch, and we will definitely be coming back! -James

From the warm welcome to the spotless room with stunning views, everything was perfect. The staff was incredibly attentive, the food was top-tier, and the spa was pure relaxation. Truly a 5-star experience — can’t wait to return!

We had a memorable stay at Nustar Resort! The reception area was adequate and check in was quuck. We were then billeted to our room which had a great view!!! The room was spacious with ample natural light which livened up my mood! Waking up to the Cebu City view on one side and the sea on the other side was a good start of the day. My children loved swimming in their pool and spending time in the bathtub 😁 Everything was clean and service was impeccable! Thanks to our butler who made sure we truly enjoyed our stay! Breakfast was at Fili, the puto maya and sikwate was lovely! Hope they open their own restaurant. I bet that would make the experience more memorable! The staff were very friendly and accommodating! We will definitely come back!

We had never been to the Philippines and flying during a severe depression opong threw us out. Grace and all the staff sorted us out , arranged a van to pick us up at the airport. Really amazed at how the staff treat their guests, very courteous and warm. The Fili cafe is the best buffet dinner I’ve ever had , that in itself was worth the stay . Gets busy in the weekend , a lot of tourists. Very handy if you want a few days to have a gamble at the casino. The Chinese hot pot was a highlight , a real experience. I’m sure we will be back as it’s only a 3.5hour direct flight from Thailand , but only has this flight late nights early morning with Cebu Air Friday and Mondays. Don’t think I’d like to stop over at Manila airport again ! 😅 our short break was amazing and we highly recommend the Nustar tower . Can’t fault the hospitality 🙏🏻 thank you

The restaurants inside are top-notch, offering a variety of food options that truly impress. Whether you’re there to relax, play, or just enjoy a premium experience, Nustar delivers on all fronts. Definitely one of the best hotels in Cebu 🎰✨

Dim sum restaurant
Fast food restaurant
Dimsum Break is a popular spot in Cebu for those seeking authentic Chinese dimsum. Located on the 4th floor near the Bowling Center, this casual eatery offers an extensive menu of bite-sized delights, including steamed dumplings, siomai, congee, and noodle dishes. As a sister company to Harbour City and Ding Qua Qua, Dimsum Break is well-known for its generous portions and affordable prices.
Food is great. The server is above excellence is customer service satisfaction. 5 star indeed!
Clark M — Google review
They got my orders wrong even after I repeated it THRICE! Meaning I had to say it 3 times to the cashier and once to the guy supposedly assembling the order. Since the dine-in orders would need 15 minutes, we agreed to have all of them served at once. Once served, I was given all non-spicy steamed rice. When I asked the now-different guy (LEMAR on his nametag) assembling orders why all of the steamed rice are not spicy, he was so dismissive and said “walay nakabutang spicy sa order”. His tone was insinuating it’s my fault. No apologies whatsoever. But hey, you still got it wrong — one still says spicy in my receipt. I wanted to tell him that but he was so avoidant and walked away from me. I also asked the cashier why she did not indicate I wanted spicy steamed rice but she did not even bother answering me. It would have been fine if they got my order wrong. I am always considerate with service crews/waiters/Grab drivers/etc. But the way they avoided me and tried to point fingers really got into my nerves.
Jam S — Google review
we just bought take out recently and it tastes very different from the ones we usually get. there’s less sauce, less meat and it was super thick and dry. the empress roll’s cabbage was kind of hard and hard to chew compared to before. also with the new packaging, serving also got smaller.
Yakiniku Y — Google review
Food is good . However, if you plan to put up lots of rice, at least put in sauce that matches the content. Sure, lots of steamed rice looks surprisingly advantageous to the customer, but it looked like leftovers because there was less sauce and meat. 👎👎👎 Edit 2024. Downgraded rating. Dont order takeout. The steamed rice is not new. Like wth... Less sauce, meat, rice is dry and thick. It did not taste good anymore. 😵‍💫 Edit. food content has gotten worse. soup can barely be scooped up in the value meal container.
Mark G — Google review
Quick service, reliable food. Great for casual meals. Portions are okay; sometimes the best-selling items run out during peak times.
Ellaina — Google review
I was told that they will prepare right away and deliver by Lalamove. When I followed up 30 minutes after, they were still preparing the food. Then they said after 20 minutes that a rider is already available. But when I called again after 15 minutes, they said the rider cancelled. So I cancelled the whole thing. After a few minutes they called that they already have a rider. It has been 20 minutes since then. Turns out the delivery person had to make another delivery in another subdivision and took another 20 minutes to get to us. I don’t know why the people in the BTC dim sum break cannot just tell the truth and the real situation that it will take them 1hour and 30 minutes to deliver and not let us believe that they can deliver right away. I am NEVER going to order from that branch again. THEIR SERVICE SUCKS!
Susan V — Google review
When you visit Cebu, Dimsum Break is a must-see and must-go place to eat. It offers dimsum meals — especially their original steamed fried rice, spring rolls, siomai, siopao. It tastes and feels like home. The foods are served immediately upon ordering. No waiting time. What’s good about this place is that they are open 24/7.
Kevin C — Google review
I gave this "new" Dimsum Break a chance three times, but they disappointed me every time. It always takes 10 minutes or more just to pay, so the food I ordered ends up getting cold.

Dim sum restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant Ayala Central Bloc, Ding How offers a unique dining experience that perfectly blends tradition with modern technology. This bustling branch is part of a family-run chain known for its dim sum delights, and it stands out with its innovative automated ordering system. Guests can easily place their orders through touchscreens at each table, allowing for a stress-free experience without the need to interact directly with staff—perfect for those who prefer a more private approach.
This was my first time trying a restaurant with automated orders and it was cool 😁 The serving time took ~20mins tho, probably due to the many customers at that time. Food was good and prices were reasonable 👌 Came here a 2nd time. Stuffed Taro was good! Pao Pao Buns were delicious! Lami ang chocolate 💯😋

It is a nice place to dine and talk. Had fun using the techie menu and all. The food was just right. What made it exceptional for me are the memories created during our stay.

Stupid slow service. You'd think shaopao will be quick because they'll just steam them. Took them 35 MINUTES. UNREASONABLE. Plus the cashier won't even have the guts to apologize in person coz she said "10 minutes" She will send someone else to talk for her. VERY DISAPPOINTED VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Cali D — Google review
Great affordable dimsum option at IT Park. Really enjoyed the fried wanton and spicy siomai specifically. Staff were also pleasant.
Margaret Q — Google review
I have tried dinghow befor but this time, the Dinghow dimsum branch at Ayala central bloc was definitely a rip off. There are only around 2 waiters, although ordering should be fairly automated, but unfortunately our monitor encountered an error which says , "call attendant", and they are nowhere to be found. I had to stand and go to the kitchen counter just to get attention. And the weird thing is, if you observe the kitchen staff, there is this guy who gives out the food order to the waiter who is very very loud and noisy. The battered chicken was the worst! See my attached photo. The batter itself looks dry and clumpy, and the chicken is dark brown. It means that it has been deep friend several times already and not properly thawed because it was so hard!! The other dimsum is okay, nothing special. Even the steamed fried rice doesnt taste as good as before. Dont know what happened to this branch, but it was a worst experience.
Renz L — Google review
We really liked it, the dim sum was quite good. Good hot and sour soup. Electronic ordering so can't complain much about the service. It comes out pretty quickly. The hargow may have been slightly over steamed and was kind of falling apart, but otherwise we were very happy.
Francis C — Google review
If you want to take your time ordering without getting stressed with choosing what you want by the staff, go to Ding How at Ayala Central Bloc to feel the automated dining experience. Each table has a screen where you interact via touchscreen. You do yours orders without talking to the staff if you are that shy. Once you order, you learn more about Ding How by going through their history on the screen. You can also learn fun facts about dim sum, and watch videos and galleries of their dishes. The staff are very friendly, but they are only few to be able to handle l the customers.Take note that there were not a lot of diners when we ate there, and yet we had slight difficulty calling them when we needed something. Compared to their sister restaurants, Ding Qua Qua and Dimsum Break, their dishes are lighter on taste. I personally love the strong salty flavor of Dimsum Break, but the lighter version makes me feel less sluggish after eating. Their Mahjong Tiles Jelly is something to try to get if you eat in Ding How. We waited a long time to receive the dish, but it was worth it.
Brent G — Google review
Service has gotten worse and worse and they have no shame for it. They serve complimentary tea but refuse to bring me last 3 times even though i point ot out. Than they bring.

Chinese restaurant
The Ching Palace in Cebu, Philippines, offers an authentic and top-notch Chinese dining experience. The restaurant's opulent surroundings are adorned with aquariums and colorful birds, creating a unique ambiance for diners. One of the highlights is the option for customers to select their own seafood dish before it is expertly cooked to ensure freshness and quality. Specialties like seafood soup with jellyfish and stir-fried shrimp chop suey showcase the diverse and flavorful menu.
We come to Ching Palace three to five times a month. Sometimes with our staff, sometimes with clients or business partners—but more often now, just the two of us. It has become a quiet tradition. A place we return to not just for the food, but for the space it gives us to pause and connect. Every visit begins with a familiar rhythm—a pot of warm aromatic tea, gently poured, accompanied by a bowl of lightly salted peanuts. There’s no need for introductions. The experience itself speaks louder than names. And always, we order the Bird’s Nest Soup. Delicate, nourishing, and elegant. It’s more than a dish—it’s a ritual. One that has marked countless conversations between us, from business plans to quiet reflections on life. Ching Palace doesn’t chase trends. It delivers something far more lasting: consistency, comfort, and calm in every meal. We don’t come here to be known. We come here to remember who we are—together.

Ching has improved a lot since the last time we visited before the pandemic. Food is good and priced fairly. They can improve a lot more on the cleanliness though. The glass on my seat still had someone else’s lip mark.

The Ching Palace offers a delightful dining experience with its authentic Chinese cuisine and inviting ambiance. The dishes were flavorful, well-presented, and generous in portion—standouts included the sweet and sour pork, vibrant fried rice, and savory braised pork leg. The restaurant exudes a classic Chinese vibe, complete with traditional decor and round tables perfect for family-style meals. The waitstaff were attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Overall, The Ching Palace is a great spot for enjoying a hearty and satisfying Chinese feast.

It is really one of the top Chinese restaurants in Cebu. It is a go-to restaurant for many Filipino-Chinese for their important celebrations. We had dinner here last night and their set Family meals are just glorious. Dishes were spot on, service was great, and the overall atmosphere was excellent. I am truly happy dining here again.

The ambiance and the service in this place are great. Good location. The staff is accommodating and serves quickly. Just the food itself isn’t up to par with my expectations of a place that has been in business for years. It seems like a lot of people come here for authentic chinese and the flavor is just lacking for me. The bird’s nest which is there bestseller was bland. I had better bird’s nest at a fastfood place. The food overall wasn’t really bad but it didn’t meet my expectations especially given all the great reviews.

Authentic and delicious chinese cuisine in Cebu. Overall dining experience was great and their food was delicious. Though, the place can be a bit cramped as it gets packed with diners. There are areas where they have to pass through and it can be difficult to navigate depending if other diners are willing to move their chairs. Customer service and promptness of assistance was good but not exceptional as some servers do need to improvement in handling table orders and service. Comfort room was clean. Atmosphere and ambiance was inviting and cozy. They do have a great variety of fishes inside their aquarium and it was pleasing to look at while waiting for the food. No corkage.
Krislyn K — Google review
Affordable yet yummy Chinese restaurant. Always full and may need to wait for a seat. Waiting time for the food is less, they are efficient to serve all even in full capacity. There are peanuts served while waiting with free hot tea and service water when requested. Parking is spacious but always full.

This place was recommended by the driver of our city tour in Cebu city when we asked for seafood restaurant. At first i thought the driver will bring us to a Filipino style seafood restaurant but turns out its a Chinese restaurant. It was full house that night and now i know why. The chicken cooked in soy sauce was the winner menu for us, hot & sour soup was good too but unfortunately the prawn they served that night was not fresh. The staffs were helpful, the place was calm and cozy, some people celebrated birthday here, live band at night and the price is not expensive.

Tsay Cheng is a renowned Chinese restaurant in Cebu, now making a comeback at The Grand Convention Center, Cebu City. It offers an upscale dining experience for affluent families and is known for consistently serving exquisite feasts prepared by masterful chefs. One of its popular dishes is the lobster set, available at a price of P2499.
Chinese fine dining at it's best. Location is within city limits. They have unique Chinese dishes that other Chinese restaurants don't have. Friendly staff
Kenneth R — Google review
Food here isn't the greatest. Nothing too special about it. Whats cool is they have dimsum at night with a person pushing the cart. Food is pretty oily here which I'm not a fan of and service isn't the greatest. Wouldn't come back here for sure. They also made a mistake on our bill.
Sheena C — Google review
Good Chinese food. we pre ordered medium size meals for the group of 18, so we didn't have to wait long. Though I was looking forward to drink the traditional Chinese house tea, they were out so they just gave us lipton, other then that it was all good.
Shahid B — Google review
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants to date. Food is always good or should I say very consistent. We've had so many celebrations done at their restaurant and pretty much the staffs are very accommodating. We always keep coming back on special occasions as their service is always excellent and great food.

They have an exclusive function rooms that cater to small groups. The food is great and the waiters are very accommodating. Kudos to the management!

Good location, good design and decoration. Service is very fast. Very clean. I definitely advise this restaurant if you like Chinese food and see foods.
Mehmet U — Google review
This was a very difficult rating for me to decide on. This is probably the most upscale restaurant I went to this visit on the Philippines, and while I wasnt the biggest fan of the food, I think it still deserves a high rating, and here's why. This is authentic/real Chinese food. The dishes that were served were all very genuine Chinese, which I was not completely used to or fond of. That said, most of my other party really enjoyed it. I would say that if you are from an Asian country, or have a taste for actual real Chinese food you would really enjoy this. However if you are a westerner, or are used to a different style of Chinese, you may not be able to fully appreciate the diverse and richness in the food. We were dining with a VIP for this experience, so I'm also unsure if everyone will have the same experience as we did. We had a private room for our meal and had the opportunity to enjoy a full 9 course meal. The food was all well prepared and the drinks and dessert was also delishious. The cleanliness of the place is second to none in the area, and the staff, and service, was excellent. I would recommend going to experince the place, just know what kind of food to expect before you go.

In comparison to the other restaurant outlets in the Grand Convention, this would be the weakest link. Food offerings in the menu are limited. There are better options for Chinese Restaurants.

Restaurant
Luy's Classic Tea House in Cebu offers an authentic Chinese dining experience with a local touch. The restaurant is known for its live seafood selection, allowing diners to choose their preferred ingredients. It boasts a spacious setting suitable for gatherings with family and friends, where guests can indulge in a wide array of dim sum and traditional Chinese dishes.
The very good traditional Chinese restaurant in town for mostly old people, not so popular for young people except they go with their family The foods are tasty, I like steamed shrimps, fresh sweet and juicy. Dumplings, vegetables, fried rice are all good. There are many expensive with seafood here as well.
Thao N — Google review
Authentic Cantonese food with varieties for other options. If you are looking for Chinese soul food , this is the place to go. Friendly service. Dimsum on demand. My friend lost her Swarovski bracelet. Our local friend phoned them and they found and returned it. It brought immense delight to my friend who lost it .
Liza T — Google review
The best Chinese food & vibe in Cebu City. They serve you a small plate of peanuts while you wait for your food. Service is great, but I would appreciate it better if they serve the food all at once, and not like 1-2 dishes to start and then come back to deliver more and then come back again to deliver more. I wasn’t able to take photos of all our food because of this reason. I’ve been here a few times and each time, there are families with small children and elderlies that enjoy their food and each other’s company—and this sight warms the heart. The place is nice and appropriate for real conversations (business meetings or family gatherings or friends catching up over real Chinese food) because they tone down the Chinese music. They have a huge parking space. I’ll definitely come back!
Czarina G — Google review
Luy's is a truly classic Chinese restaurant. Great service and atmosphere, without pretense--no time for that given the outstanding variety and quality of dishes. The dim sum items are consistently on point--both varieties of xiao long bao, siomai, hawkaw (must have), and especially crispy beancurd cheung fun (incredible play of texture and flavors). Beef ho fun is excellent with great flavor, tender meat, and decent wok hei. Salt and pepper shrimp are great as well. I might not order the roasted lechon Macau, as I prefer Filipino kawali preparation. In all, this is the place to bring as many friends and family as possible and order way too much food
D E — Google review
Luy’s Chinese Restaurant is considered the best Chinese restaurant in the Cebu region, offering an extensive array of authentic Chinese cuisine. The dishes are crafted with traditional recipes and high-quality ingredients, ensuring a truly genuine dining experience. Favorites include the pigeon and shrimp dishes, which are expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The restaurant's energetic and attentive crew enhances the dining experience by promptly assisting with all your needs, making every visit pleasant and hassle-free. Luys also caters to different group sizes with exclusive rooms, providing a more private and personalized setting for gatherings, whether they are intimate family dinners or larger celebrations. The combination of exceptional food, outstanding service, and flexible dining options makes Luy’s a standout choice for Chinese cuisine in Cebu. I almost forgot, their peanuts kay lami. Hehehe I will keep coming back here.

Luys Tea House offers delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine. Every dish I tried was flavorful and true to its origins. Their Peking duck served in different ways is exceptional, highlighting both tradition and innovation. The restaurant has a charming, authentic Chinese ambiance, and the staff are friendly and attentive. A must-visit for anyone who enjoys authentic Chinese food in a welcoming environment.

Chinese food lovers will definitely be satisfied here. The dishes were excellent and had an authentic Chinese flavor. My personal favorite was the xiao long bao; it was meaty and the soup was delicious. But not a perfect star as there's still room for improvement. The other dish was not quite to my liking.

Since I last visited, the taste and ambience have improved for the better… so much better.☺️ In general, the taste was perfect… not too salty like most Chinese restaurants. The service was prompt and the crew were attentive and courteous. Its a good place to have family celebrations.

Fili Hotel Cebu offers a luxurious experience with its amazing amenities, including a casino and spacious parking. The hotel's Fili restaurant serves a buffet breakfast with a wide variety of choices from light to heavy meals, providing good value for money. The lobby cafe offers an array of tasty pastries, with the bukayo croissant being highly recommended. Guests can enjoy fast and free internet along with comfortable seating and spacious tables. The hotel also boasts excellent customer service and approachable staff.
My husband and I had an amazing time in this hotel. We received a free room upgrade which had amazing view. The room itself was spotless and spacious. The front desk personnel were friendly and efficient. The most remarkable thing was the breakfast buffet. It featured a lot of my favorite Filipino dishes and desserts. They also had a Korean and Indian station, but I didn’t try any of the dishes there because I was trying to get as much of the Filipino food that I missed. We would definitely be going back there the next time we’re in Cebu.

Fili Nustar review Pros: -New Resort: the resort looks newly built so everything looks up to date and modern. -Beautiful aesthetic, from the lobby to the rooms! You could take pictures anywhere on the premises and the background would look fire. -Nice amenities, mall, movie theater, spa, gym. -Room with amazing view! Ironing board, coffee station, and all the toiletries you could ask for! -Good location (secluded) Diverse breakfast menu!! Cons: -Customer service could do with some improvement: we received the wrong room initially but luckily they changed it because it is what we paid for. We ordered room service on one night and received the incorrect in-room dining order. Didn’t bother to complain because we were starving and it was late but luckily it cost the same as our initial order. -Nature in common areas: bugs in breakfast diner and there was a bird in the gym. -It’s not an all inclusive resort so just keep that in mind. Other than that, we had an amazing time there! If we weren’t looking to explore other parts of Cebu we’d definitely go back!

Awesome place overlooking the sea. Just before the earthquake we were here. A memorable place for me. The room was very comfortable. I hope to come back again. I had a great time. Highly recommended!
Grace N — Google review
We really liked the staff, service, size of the rooms, the pillows and beds plus the bigger than normal bathroom. The breakfast, although there were many choices, some food items were cold. Overall, this is a very luxurious hotel worth the money.
Vee V — Google review
I emailed guest services 4 times before arrival. A total miscommunication. Paid for executive suite with lounge access. Waited 30 minutes at the front desk to be told we were in the wrong place to check in. No information was provided about lounge times. We were told to leave the lounge because they had to set up for dinner. We ordered in the room and went to the casino floor. They wanted passports, and our Filipino IDs were not valid, even though we were told in an email they would be fine? So, we were unable to enjoy the casino. We didn't make reservations to the restaurants and were told there would be a 45-minute wait since no tables were open. The shops have clothing for tiny people. If you're over 5' 6" or 170 cm, good luck finding anything that fits. It's a complete disaster no matter how much you plan ahead.

We decided to come back to Fili Hotel to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, since we had stayed here once before and really enjoyed it. Due to flight cancellations in Palawan, we thought it would be the perfect chance to return and make our anniversary special. Prior to arriving, we even texted the hotel to ask if they could arrange something nice for the occasion and perhaps consider a complimentary upgrade. Their response was very warm and they said they would be pleased to arrange something, which made us feel excited and welcomed Unfortunately, the reality was quite disappointing. When we arrived at the room, there was no special touch at all, not even a small gesture to acknowledge the occasion. To make things worse, the room we were given was actually smaller than the one we stayed in during our first visit, despite us paying more this time. We came with high expectations, based on our previous experience and on the hotel’s promise to make our anniversary memorable. Instead, it felt like the opposite. For a property that presents itself as a luxury experience, we expected better attention to detail and consistency.

It was my first time staying at Fili Hotel Nustar, and I truly enjoyed it. From the moment I got off my ride, to the reception counter, and finally up to the room — the service was excellent. When I entered the room, it was even better than expected! The bathtub, the bed, and the overlooking view of the city were really something. This will definitely be my go-to place to stay whenever I’m in the City.

If you're on the hunt for some delightful Chinese comfort food, look no further than Master Po One Paseo. This charming eatery, a sibling to the well-loved Ching Palace, offers an array of mouthwatering dishes that won't break the bank. Indulge in hearty bowls of beef brisket noodles or savor the flavors of meatball congee. Their roasted chicken rice and Shanghai buns are also must-tries!
me and my friends had a great dinner here. they have a very accomodating staff and they were very attentive of our needs. the food is really good and we enjoyed all of it ❤️ we would love to come back and bring our families

Ordered Fried rice fluffy rice, descent amount of shrimp and pork bbq pretty flavorful with a touch of soy sauce makes it good. Pork asado very similar to Cantonese bbq pork on a bed of steamed cabbage and honey sauce, pork is tender. Wanton noodle is ok. For Dessert we had Taho with sago with caramelized sugar mixture is also pretty good its light dessert. We also had sesame mochi with red beans filling was served hot, the dough was soft and chewy the outside has perfect amount of crunch. They have generous potions, ambiance is pleasant, price is reasonable, the staff are nice, service is fast. We will add this place to our go to place. Totally recommend this place.

We had a great dining experience at Master Po! From the start, they were responsive and accommodating with our reservation. They even followed up the next day to prepare our tables ahead of time—super thoughtful, especially since we were a big group of 18. We were comfortably seated on the 2nd floor, which gave us enough space to enjoy the meal. The food was fantastic. The eggplant dish was truly one of a kind—flavorful and unlike anything we’ve tried before. My kids loved the salt and pepper spare ribs, and the Yang Chow rice was generously packed with ingredients. A little tip: if you're a big group, it's better to pre-order your drinks. Also, while we appreciated the effort, I wouldn’t recommend pre-ordering dimsum like siomai and hakaw if you expect to arrive late—they were a bit dry by the time we got there (our fault, but worth noting). The staff were friendly and accommodating, though service took a bit longer since we were upstairs and the place was quite busy. Overall, still a great place for group meals and celebrations with delicious food and responsive service!

We love the ambience and the interiors of the restaurant. It had a classy and expensive vibe. We ordered Beef Brisket, Baked Porkchop, Spring Rolls, and Pork & Spinach dumplings and they all tasted really good. One thing we like as well was they gave us complimentary hot tea first. We will definitely come back to try their other food and desserts!

Somewhat a better experience than the Grand Majestic at SM Seaside. We had a variety of the menu items here’s where they need to improve: the Empress roll didn’t taste good, the Bird’s nest soup was bland and lukewarm, not hot. The floors were either sticky or greasy. The ambiance is way better than the Seaside branch. They also have a function room good for 10 persons with a minimum order of P6,000.
