A really nice pub where to go! To be honest the view from the balcony - rooftop is good but not super good, means you have a cool view but you will not see your better sun set or sunrise there ! Talking about the drinks, it is really good, the service is nice, the price is more expensive than other pub (mostly conditioned by the quality of the service and the rooftop)! I did not try the food but it is probably the same. So I would say if you wish to have a view just go, the service is high quality for the price. If not than you might choose another option 😊

High end bar and restaurant. Drinks were great. Steak was good and cooked perfectly. The place sits atop the casino and has wonderful views. Only issue was the price - in a town known for being expensive... it was very much so.

Nice place for dinner amazing filet and everyone's dinner was great!!! We all loved the live music and breathtaking views of the city skyline, everything about this place was classy. This was rated in the top 5 roof top lounges in Switzerland I would have to say they did live up to the hype. The waitstaff offered excellent service, I would definitely recommend!!

One of the classic posh bars and restaurants of Zurich. The setting is nice and the service is also excellent. The cocktails are great normal Zurich prices. The food is a little bit overpriced, but the service and the atmosphere make up for it. Definetely make a reservation cause it gets quite crowded.

Very nice restaurant and high quality food BUT it is pricey for the amount of food you get. That is not always a bad thing but you should just know what you are in for. We had a fantastic summer weather day and sat out on the terrace. It was very nice!

What an unforgettable experience. We had the pleasure of enjoying an excellent sushi at this restaurant, and it was simply fantastic. The quality of the food was outstanding! What made the evening exceptional, however, was the first class service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and immediately fulfilled every request. My boyfriend brought us here to celebrate my birthday and what an unforgettable experience it was! There was so much we loved about La Muña that by the end of our meal, we had already decided we’d be back again. Every dish reflected the heart and effort poured into creating it. As an Asian myself, the Prawn Dumplings and Braised Pork Belly nearly brought me to tears because they tasted just like the ones I’d have back home in Singapore. Finding food that reminds you of home in a new country brings such deep comfort. The Black Cod melted in our mouths, and the Wasabi Ice Cream was simply out of this world. We also appreciated the proactive and impeccable service from the team. Please extend our thanks to everyone who took such good care of us. Keep up the wonderful work, we can’t wait to be back! The rooftop location is truly impressive. Overall, the food was very good, although the panna cotta dessert was not convincing in terms of taste and structure. I would recommend taking it off the menu. The service could be more attentive and proactive, as we had to repeatedly ask for water, wine, or other extras. Overall, it was a good experience. The prices are quite high, and the portions relatively small, so you may leave feeling a bit hungry. You are probably paying for the views

I wasn't entirely sure what "a la discrétion" meant. I enjoy a hearty breakfast or brunch, but after many years of staying in business hotels, I can no longer stand buffets. The offering here is a kind of innovative middle way, and actually not a bad one. The table is not overloaded but richly and colourfully laid... allowing you to enjoy your meal together without having to rush back and forth to the buffet. The quality and service were good, but the plait should not be cut too early as the cut surface was very dry. The room itself is a bit gloomy, with a rather charmless 80s look. The terrace is cool in summer.

Stopped in for a light lunch and couldn't be happier. We had the bao buns and a California rolls on the rooftop deck with a nice view of Zurich including the observatory and the Jules Verne lounge. When we visited the building was under renovation but don't let that put you off

This place had been my number one spot for years. I celebrated my birthday here, regularly came for late-night dinners, and enjoyed Sunday brunches with friends. I truly loved this rooftop. However, two weeks ago I made a dinner reservation for two and unfortunately arrived 15 minutes late. I tried to call and even sent a text message, but received no response. When we arrived, the staff member (who struggled with German) informed us that our table had been given away and offered us seats at the bar instead. Honestly, that’s disappointing. Loyal customers deserve better communication and a bit more effort in service. Would love to go back, but there’s a but…

The place has an amazing view and atmosphere. The food is also good, I would like to try something else before giving 4 stars though. I'm looking forward to come back: the service is not too warm but polite and helpful. The menu is a bit unusual, with many original options, quite nice! Recommended probably even just for an aperitivo or a drink!

This place is a hidden gem near the Zurich train station (a 5 minute walk). I had some time to kill before my flight and had a great meal and wine at the Rooftop. There's outside seating available too if you want to enjoy the view. They also have different portion sizes which was amazing because you can order as per appetite and/or group size. The servers were accommodating because I had bags with me, and service was fast and good.

As rightly so pointed in previews comments, we had an extremely unpleasant waiter. First, he tried very much without any subtility to make us understand that we should leave soon by hovering us around and repeatedly asking us what we would like to order again, as we were still chatting and enjoying the sun on the rooftop. Then, he even asked us how long we still wanted to stay as he had guests waiting for a table. It was extremely rude and unpleasant. As paying guests, we should have been given the premium customer service, especially given the very high pricing of drinks, and not that attitude. I do not recommend and will unlikely return if such level of unprofessionalism is not fixed by management asap.

Always a nice place where to stop for afternoon tea or lunch. Located on the roof top of grieder shopping mall, it serves a few fresh dishes (soup of the day, club sandwich, various salads and pasta). Good choice of deserts as well. Staff is normally quite nice.

Wonderful restaurant with a very pretty terrace! Enjoyed every bite. The buffet has many vegan choices and everything's clearly labeled. Only thing I'll add, if you're proud to be the first vegetarian restaurant in the whole world, then make that next step! Fully vegan, you already know you don’t need animal products to create delicious dishes. So what’s the point? 😉💚

The food was very tasty – we had vegetarian dishes, but there are also vegan options available. The meals are flour-based and fresh, clearly prepared on the spot. Even though it was quite busy, we managed to find a table during lunch hours, and the waiting time wasn’t long. We enjoyed a delicious lunch, and although we didn’t manage to take a photo of the dessert, it was definitely worth saving some room for it.

This is our go-to restaurant whenever we don’t know what to eat and we are in the city center. Absolutely love the food and atmosphere here. The price is also really reasonable considering its central location. Highly recommend!

The ambiance in this place is fantastic. While the food was decent, the service was somewhat mixed, with some enthusiastic staff and one who seemed less so. I would really appreciate a few recommendations on the menu, along with some background information on the ingredients. For instance, knowing that the honey comes from a farm just 10 minutes away, where bees help pollinate xxx, or that the Kombucha we're served is from a local brewery named xxx, would be wonderful additions to the experience.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Zurich. Pricing is fair for location and how beautiful this restaurant is. Presentation was stunning. Service is a bit slow in giving the check yet I noticed they were overwhelmed a bit. The food tasted amazing, drinks were also good. I thought by the looks that pricing would be outrageous but it wasn’t at all. I would definitely come back.

Absolutely delicious! Although the outdoor seating wasn’t available we had really nice seating. They were kind enough to offer my friend’s dog water in a cute bowl. Came here for lunch and spent around $90 CHF Would definitely recommend.

Nice interior and great menu variety. The food is good but nothing extraordinarily good. This spot seemed to be less about the food and more about the view, the guests and making sure everything was ready for a social media campaign. Might come back for a drink in summer but wouldn’t come back for the food simply because of the price for what it actually is.

The Nest is one of those spots where you feel like you are on a little getaway, even though it's right in the middle of Zurich. The view is just great, you can see the Limmat, the lake, and the mountains all at once. It’s the kind of place where you just want to sit back, relax, and forget about everything for a while. The vibe is laid-back but still feels special. The team was really kind, they even surprised with a birthday dessert, which was a lovely and delicious touch. Just a small note: do not recommend the rosé from Ticino, it did not meet the same standard as the rest of the offerings.

We received an invitation to The Nest at the Storchen Hotel as part of a birthday gift. We really enjoyed it! We had a great day for the event. We wondered how we had never heard of it before! We had a fantastic afternoon and will book again next season! The staff, food and views were all fantastic. Highly recommended!!!

Wow, is the first thing you think when you enter the rooftop bar THE NEST in the Hotel Storchen. The view over Zurich and the lake towards the Alps is breathtaking. The service is very friendly and attentive, as it must be for a 5-star hotel. To eat, there are small bites that taste great. It is important to know that THE NEST does not accept reservations. It is only open in good weather and during the summer months from May to September.

We read the reviews and were prepared for the Nest. Short conclusion: Understaffed. When we got in we got served by Sitta which was clearly under too much stress by having to serve the whole restaurant. After like 45 minutes Lia showed up to help and we felt kindness in her voice. Our order was messed up like 3 times. Food was delicious. Prices are normal for Zurich and especially for a rooftop bar. They have bottle of wines for 70 francs. There is organization for who comes in first. We waited for 45 minutes in line and the americans behind us got a better table. If you spend 1500 francs they can make a reservation for you which is great to know for a special ocassion. You usually need 8 people but they would do it just for 2 if you want to spend the money. If the owners of the hotels would need to have the place managed I am happy to take over just contact me. Thanks!

The view and the atmosphere of the restaurant is unbeatable. Food and drinks were okay. Will come back for the view! They also have a $35minimum spent per person. THEY DONT TAKE RESERVATIONS:) The reception will use their key card to take you to the 6th floor. Very bougie place!

Been there—it's members-only—as a guest: + Modest entrance (a small lift in a corporate building). + Good reception that makes you feel welcome. ++ Spectacular view from both the lower-floor bar and upper-floor restaurant! - The food is underwhelming, to put it positively. It feels like an average 4-star hotel restaurant. - Average wine list, but above-average prices. - Service is cheerful, but some blunders happened during the evening (it's not the Four Seasons/Park Hyatt Level. Which is okay. But after some mistakes, maybe the coffee could be on the house? But of course not, as money doesn't matter to the customers, Mr Blume) Bottom line: Become a member to impress your business partner (or another important person). Have a pre-dinner drink, but then take an Uber Black to Kronenhalle, etc.

Best view of Zurich!

The main plus is the view of Zurich from the 35th floor - really impressive. Easy to get a reservation and wasn't too crowded when we went. Ordered iced tea but couldn't taste any actual tea - more like fruit punch. Had a smash burger with fries. Fries were good, but the bottom bun was dry. First bite seemed juicy but got worse toward the middle. Pretty average overall. Despite the fancy atmosphere, the food doesn't match the luxury vibe they're going for. Annoying that the waiter asked about the bill amount (hinting at rounding up for tip) and then asked about tip again. Found this pushy approach off-putting. Worth going once for the view. Probably better to just get cocktails, but keep in mind they'll seat you in the bar area where you won't get the same window views.

Emily is hands down the best server. Dirk is phenomenal chef. Georg outstanding manager who really knew how to set the tone. Every bite of every dish was incredible. My absolute favorite was the truffle gnocchi. However, the oysters were out of this world w the sauces it was served with. Than the salmon sashimi was impeccable. Then the fresh bread with this cherry balsamic from Germany and oil from Greece was TOOOO GOOD!!! Finally the flank steak with the chimichurri sauce was melting in my mouth. COME HERE TO ENJOY THE LIFE U DESERVE AND TO EAT AND FEEL LIKE A KING OR QUEEN

Clouds Restaurant is one of the best dining spots in Zurich, located in the city’s tallest building, Prime Tower. The breathtaking views from the restaurant make the experience truly special. The food is equally impressive, especially the tartare and steak, which were both delicious and of high quality. The service was quick, professional, and the overall atmosphere was clean and well-organized. Since the restaurant can get quite busy, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. If you’re looking for a unique dining experience with an incredible view, Clouds Restaurant is a must-visit!

We had drinks at the bar. The view from the highest tower in Zurich was so stunning. I watched the city lights and enjoyed the drink with my friends. Such a nice evening spending time there.

The reception team that takes your coat was very nice. When we arrived upstairs there was a queue. As the place was not crowded at all we passed by the people to check out the situation thinking that it might be a group of oeople waiting for someone. We were happy to find a perfect table with a fantastic view. Very shortly later the waiter came and told us arrogantly that we need ti queue up. Turning around I saw another two unoccupied chairs at the bar. On the way out I went to the server and asked him why he doesn’t make the people who are waiting have a seat. The free seats and waiting people made me confused. The waiter snapped at me how many free sitting areas I saw. I told hin two so far. As a consequence the waiter called me arrogant. Arrogant I assume is to make people wait in line whereas there is space to sit down. I will never again go to Cloud Bar.

Had a wonderful experience at Clouds Zurich. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy, with stunning views that make the whole visit feel special. We dined with Vreni for her 50th birthday. Happy birthday first of all. Even tho' she heard it from us in person. The veal liver was delicious. percectly cooked. Tartar had a nice sweet touch, but the additional spicey offered was not decent. Salad had too much vinegad. Bread was tasty. Haxe was dry. Af.

Great tastes, nicely cooked and sunny terrace! That worked well for us, family of 4 (baby and toddler), we could enjoy some tasty 5-dish menu while toddler could make his escapes in the open area next to it!

Top restaurant for a special evening! This restaurant is perfect if you’re looking for a slightly different dining location in Zurich, away from the centre of town, but still easily reached with public transport and with beautiful views of the city. The ambience is stylish but not stuffy. The tables are located far enough apart that you can enjoy a private discussion and the excellent food! Service was also very friendly.

Restaurant Rigiblick is a gorgeous place for dinner and quality time with your beloved ones. The atmosphere, the light, the food and the service is amazing. We had a beautiful and relaxed evening. We went for the 4 way menu - it was delicious. Everything was well selected. The service team (I think it’s the owner) is very helpful and understands its business extremely well. The restaurant has approximately 12 tables outside. I recommend to make a reservation especially during weekends or public holidays. Thanks @Rigiblick for the wonderful evening.

I came solo and hungry, never got a menu as they were not happy that I got sitted by myself at the free table while every other table was booked out, they excused saying that they thought I was waiting for someone, but in fact they never asked me, and didn't come even though I was trying to catch them visually :) doesn’t seem to be a solo-friendly place. Though, I got a drink somehow which was brought pretty fast but even there I didnt have luck, I took a non-alcoholic home made something with berries and they were still frozen, I paid 12.5 CHF for it. For this price I think that amount of berries could have been fresh!

Amazing food in a beautiful setting. The "Eierschwämmli Ragout" with "Serviettenknödel und Liebstöckel" was so delicious. I was so happy I went with that choice. No idea what I expected, but it sounded intriguing. Flavor, texture, all about it was great. Great, calm setting in nature with a beautiful view over the city.

I had an outstanding experience at the Penthouse Zurich, made truly memorable thanks to Mishara Fernando. He’s a bartender who perfectly balances professionalism with genuine warmth — always attentive, courteous, and incredibly skilled. Every cocktail he prepares shows real passion and precision, turning each visit into something special. A true asset to the Penthouse Zurich. We went here for dinner. We ordered the Argentinian beef ribeye and the salmon, with the fried rice on the side. The fried rice was delicious, the beef and salmon were ok. In my opinion, the food is overpriced. The waiter was very nice. It’s a party/lounge type of place.

Stunning venue and amazing food! I actually came twice during my stay at FIVE Zurich. I had dinner one evening which was fabulous. The food was so tasty! The menu has a lot to offer and was full of flavours! The staff very friendly, attentive and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and vibe! I went a second time for nibbles and drinks where we sat outside and the views were amazing! Definitely should try if you’re in town or staying at the hotel!

Best dinner experience I had in Zurich so far. Food was excellent. Music was amazing and the whole vibes was so special. Points of improvement: 1. Hire more staff as they were running around over stressed and clearly understaffed. 2. This is why we waited to so long for food and drinks and even to just get the menu. Regardless, our server was very friendly and apologetic for the whole situation. I really appreciate that. We will be back!

Frau Gerolds Garten nails the summer-cool, urban-garden meet-up vibe. It’s ideal for drinks, ice cream, casual dinners, or late night fondue—in any season—especially when you want a bit of buzz near the train. Recommend it!

Really love the beer garden summer vibe. It was our last day in Switzerland in the middle half of August and just felt like a great closure. Weather was also really nice at the time. Food is standard prices for this country but it's good, if you like hamburgers and grilled BBQ. Don't expect American or east Asian bbq level of good but it's better than most of the food here, to me. And again the atmosphere is really what made it for me.

Stopped for lunch. The staff are friendly and helpful. A wide selection of of reasonably healthy food. I had a Quinoa power bowl. It was good but would have been better with half the dressing. Seating is picnic tables with welcome umbrellas. A large selection of alcohol free drinks and beer. A nice stop near the Freitag store.

If you get to Zurich, a stop you really need to plan whatever is the season! Relaxing over the summer, warm and welcoming during the winter!

The best department store in Zurich! All the luxurious brands combined in the same place. And the best of all, they have the most beautiful season bags on Christmas! Every year is a different style of a shopping bag.

One star only because of rude curly haired Rituals‘ saleswoman who just now yelled at us even before we asked to change the Advent calendar. We bought it last week on 25th November in a rush and didn’t noticed it is very dented. For what she said it is only a packing box that will be thrown away, and wasn’t interested that the calendar itself is also damaged. She said they all are so, pointing at same calendars that aren’t all damaged. And that we also made it wet (thanks weather), although wet is only packing box that should be thrown away. Not the best way of working with clients. We are upset that we can’t give it today at the right time. Upd: on the second time seller changed the calendar after we wiped it in the toilet, pointed her at the good ones they still had and said we know it’s possible to change because I worked in sales. And even gave paper to cover.

Super fancy wearhouse in the heart of Zurich. It has a lot of well known along special brands, a huge cosmetic/ parfum department. A luxury grocery department with specialities from all over the world. You can also stop there for a coffee or quick bite. The atmosphere screams luxurious from every corner, so you might want to have the full "Zurich big city lifestyle " adventure, but it's worth a visit. I particularly enjoyed the food department, cause I can find there rarities which are hard to get somewhere else

Jelmoli – The House of Brands is situated on Bahnhofstrasse, a five-minute walk from the Zurich main station. Zurich’s largest premium department store, it was designed in 1899 based on Paris and London models and ranks among the city’s most sophisticated fashion houses. I went with friends for brunch and then took my parents also for brunch. Both times Brunella was our waitress and everything run smooth and well. She was super helpful to help us decide and we enjoy all the plates. For sure I will go a 3rd time.

Usually we are students coming to the bar. It is not a bar that is very student friendly when the prices are considered. What is also more is that there was one time we bought drinks but one of our friends were drinking their own drink outside. They shooed us. The other time we ordered a pitcher and one of the waiters came and collect it when no one was around. Later they acted as if they do not remember and we cannot take the deposit..

They have this thing called a 'deposit,' and here's how it's supposed to work (or not work, which would be more accurate). You give them 10 CHF for the pitcher as a deposit, and when you return the pitcher, they're supposed to give your money back. But the funny thing is, it's been over a week and I still haven't received my money. Great business model. Keep up the scam. Update: I contacted them personally as was proposed, and they returned the money to my bank account. In other aspects, the bar is good. The are lots of students and a great view of the city.

This bar has a lot of potential but sadly doesn't know how to use it. Indeed, the manager is very unpleasant. Every small thing you do, he comes and gets angry with you. It looks like you are in a quiet tea-room with an angry old person... In addition to that the prices are not students prices at all for a bar in the ETH... The only nice thing are the students working there.. Hope this bar will become more pleasant in the future..

We booked a table a week in advance. When we arrive in the club they told to wait on the line with everyone. After 20 minutes we ask the security staff if we can take the lift and go to our table, he said he couldn’t do anything. So we waited again on the line. After one more hour we left the club, the queue was not moving. We were ready to pay hundreds CHF for the table but for such terrible service we decided to leave the club. Very unprofessional, no organisation, no service and the employees are incompetent!

Attended a salsa night party. No fee to enter. 15 CHF a Cuba Libre, 8 CHF a Coke. Nice music, usually a sequence of 3 salsa songs, 2 bachatas and 1 kizomba. The place gets quite warm. There are lots of places to sit and relax. The dancing area is not that big, but enough. You see a lot of people drinking tap water in the WC - bad business. Regular drinks (soft drinks, water, beer) should really get much cheaper.

Nicely designed and furbished bar in the nightlife area of Zürich. Might be a a wonderful place for afterwork parties and lounging but not for a late night clubbing experience. Also the prices will attract mostly business people who won't complain about Chf 9 for a small bottle of beer.

The worst club ever. They sold us a fake rooftop party ticket - they're not even allowed to put music in the terrasse. Don't take those Puro Reggaeton tickets - it's a scam!

Got in in that club for 25 CHF and were totally disappointed. Kind of private party and security did not say a word about it, although we asked what kind of event is there today. Its all about collecting money.

I don’t want to say this for fear of me never getting a table however, one of the most fun evening I have ever had with a magnificent view of the city and sunset. Let’s talk cocktails . Francesco makes the most amazing, tasty and innovative cocktails. Please ask for suggestion and follow it. The food-Asian inspired and wonderful. I recommend the soft shell crabs, and KFC (yes, KFC). Unfortunately we did have the pleasure of having the pork belly bao however more the reason to have to come back. Thank you 1838. Service was on point , cocktails wonderful, view was one of a kind. We will return . Thank you.

We went last Friday to celebrate my bd. We were expecting a nice terrace with view and sort of an elegant vibe. Instead, we got a table with no view (not even from far away) and background music that reminded to a random beachclub. We ordered the ceviche and I when I am saying it was inversely proportional to the price I am being modest, bad is a much better description; the bao bun's texture was like old plastic. The only ok thing was the Tuna Tartar. Service was good, but nothing special. Definitely not worth it if you are looking for good food and a nice terrace with city views.

As usual delusional Swiss management, bar is closed on Friday and Saturday at 10 Pm. Why even bother to work and open a bar, just work in cemetery or smth. Food is subpar as well as service, but this is normal here, I had no expectations from these people.

I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant! Let’s start with a single con : the price is pretty darn high; for being a tourist I can imagine it’s tough for most since most countries don’t have a high wage such as Switzerland. We went here on a date visiting Zürich for the first time and wow it was mouth watering and delicious! Personally I’m not a vegetarian but my girlfriend is and I always support her and we have vegetarian days, this meal was full of incredible flavors and actually made me feel pretty decently well. I could have easily eaten a second full plate though for 40 dollars per person per plate(without drinks) I think I’ll leave it as a delicacy. They weight it and I do love this system since it ensures the buffet is being used properly and no food is being wasted. The staff is INCREDIBLE! The cook came out a few times to fill the buffet and he was full of charisma. My girlfriend was super happy to have him compliment her. Our cashier / server was a Filipino man and he was very polite, professional and with a big smile! For the experience it was worth it, it was romantic and delightful

On the one day I had to visit Uetliberg, the trains were closed. There were replacement busses. It was still very convenient to get there, and then get back to the city centre when I was done. The views are breathtaking. Make it a priority to budget some time to visit Uetliberg when in Zurich.

We had a fantastic time here! Getting to this beautiful location is a breeze, with buses and trains stopping right there. The hiking trails are easy to navigate, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. On a clear day, you get a full panoramic vista of Lake Zürich and the majestic Alps. The whole area is wonderfully clean, which really makes the experience even better. At the summit, you can take a well-deserved break and enjoy the view. You can bring your own food or buy something from the food stand or the 'Top of Zürich' restaurant. For an unforgettable perspective, be sure to pay the small fee to climb the view tower—it's worth it! A friendly tip: remember to have some coins handy for the public restrooms!!!

If you’re in Zürich, Uetliberg is a must. Take the S10 commuter train from Zürich HB - it stops at Triemli if you want to start a longer hike, or you can ride it all the way up to Uetliberg station. From there it’s a short uphill walk; you should be reasonably surefooted, but it’s not too difficult. At the top you’re rewarded with a perfect panorama of the city, the lake (Zürisee), and on clear days even the Alps.

This is a must if you are visiting Zurich, it provides great views of the city. You can hike up to the summit or take public transport. As my son can't walk far we chose public transport. Normally you can get the train but it's not currently running although there was a replacement bus service. The bus dropped us about ten mins from the top and we walked the final section. At the top there's plenty to do, a food truck and a restaurant up there. You can also head up the tower for an even better view, it costs 2 swiss francs payable by card at the gate. One thing you need to do is make sure the transaction goes through before someone comes down or you could be charged without going through.

It's a touristic place, the waiters are very rude. Instead of serving, they constantly argued among themselves. It was a ridiculous dinner. What we ordered as an appetizer was extremely tasteless. It didn't make me smile.

In my humble opinion, this establishment needs to focus more on making the customer's dinner experience one of positive memories. On this visit, our server (Jean Carlo), in my opinion, came across as rude, which affected our group of 12 paying customers. I STRONGLY recommend this establishment to provide customers service training to its staff and possibly monitoring of customer satisfaction. The food was fine but due to the atmosphere I would not recommend this place as a good memorable experience.

We had a lovely lunch at Bindella! The restaurant has a warm and elegant atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing midday meal. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. This was our final meal in Zurich and it was amazing! The staff, food and ambiance felt very relatable to anything in Italy. I just love this place, typically our go to restaurant in Zurich. The vibe is really cozy and in summer there is an additional charm to it sitting outside. The food was really good but have to say a bit disappointed in the carpaccio de boeuf. Don’t typically order it there so not sure if it was a bad day.

Rafael provided excellent service at Terrasse restaurant. The food recommendations he made were delicious. Rafael checked on us several times during our meal to ensure that we were well taken care of. We would like to go there again.

Lovely place, big windows overlooking the city streets and river. Service is excellent and food is very yummy. We were 4 adults and a child, everyone loved the meals and shared everything.

It’s not bad, but it’s not good either. Well… actually, yes, it’s good — but it’s definitely not Italian. More Mediterranean, I guess… or maybe that’s the most accurate word for it. We had linguine alle vongole (that’s what the menu said), but honestly, I’d rename it “Thai-style linguine with clams and spicy vegetables.” So, no surprises — you don’t expect a real Italian dish, more of an Asian twist, fun, and yeah, not bad at all. I decided to give a small star for the food — it’s good, but not really Mediterranean, kind of confusing. Service was excellent, thankfully. Atmosphere? Meh… it used to be better. Overall, pretty average experience.

Worst food I have ever eat. I ordered schnitzel with Pommes, how bad could be a schnitzel. It was a disaster. The schnitzel full of oil and not crispy dark colour, the taste was also like old non fresh meat, the French fries were so thin and small like you buy chips from the market. We celebrated our wedding lunch at Terrasse in the garden with about 30 guests, and it went far beyond our expectations. From start to finish, the service was impeccable — fast, attentive, and thoughtful in every detail. The food was simply outstanding, from the mixed colorful salad to the delicious dessert. Great place for a lunch under the trees of an outdoor garden, rather busy but the service was attentive and prompt. Obviously I was going fairly light with a nice salad which was delicious. A panorama bar accessible via an elevator located inside the Lipp Brasserie. - The staff was welcoming. - The drinks were okay; I wasn’t particularly impressed, but that might be because I don’t drink alcohol. - There is a view of Zurich; I wouldn’t call it splendid from my perspective, but it’s still a nice one. - The bar itself felt a bit small to me, which made the atmosphere somewhat noisy and made it hard to have a proper conversation. What a fantastic place! So unique. We visit every time we are Zurich. You will see the entire city laid out in front of you while enjoying exceptional drinks and service. Tip: The entrance is inside Brasserie Lipp. Once you have drinks, be sure to eat at Brasserie Lipp. It is truly a great dining experience. Access to the lift to the Jules Verne Panoramabar is via the Brasserie Lipp. We queued for 20 minutes to get upstairs which is usual and may be longer. The bar is fairly small but when there you get a great view of Zurich, great service from the team and quality food & drink choices. You are not rushed and can spend as long as you like. We enjoyed a couple of drinks with a great view across the city.

A very chilly and cozy place for eating and drinking, in the very city centre but just off the crowd. You sit in a small square with a fountain and sip a very good coffee and cake, or eat a bagel. I visited Milchbar Zurich twice, and both times the service was unacceptable. During my first lunch visit, the server was rude and unhelpful, barely speaking and just pointing at the menu. On my second visit around 11:30 AM, the place was nearly empty, but I was told all tables were reserved and directed to a side area that smelled bad. Strangely, other guests without reservations were seated at better tables, which felt discriminatory. My table was dirty, and no one bothered to clean it. Despite clearly asking three times for my coffee to come first, everything was served together. The food was below average, though the coffee was decent. Nice atmosphere, but I won’t be returning. The service made me feel unwelcome.

Great brunch experience, but miss the Prosecco! I didn’t know there was a restaurant inside the congress center, and I really liked the idea of their weekend brunch. The buffet is huge — there are even oysters! Plus, you get two hot dishes included, though I honestly had no room left to try them. Everything was fresh and well presented. The only downside: Prosecco is no longer included in the CHF 79 price, which was a bit disappointing. At that price, I’d expect at least one glass to be part of the experience. Still, a lovely place for a special brunch — just come hungry!

I had the LUX Restaurant on my list for a while and finally went with my whole family and wow, it exceeded all expectations! Everyone felt so comfortable and well taken care of. What really stood out to me was the exceptional service. Our waiter was such a pleasant young guy, attentive, thoughtful and with a great eye for detail. This place is just beautiful with a breathtaking view of the Zurich lake. The weather was perfect and we were lucky to have a table .. unfortunately the joy was cut right at the beginning! The server was so dry and unfriendly. We ordered among other plates “chicken nuggets” for my 5 years old daughter and he brought it with spice dressing all over! Then I ask him that I ordered this for a child and he raised his elbows and left ..of course my daughter didn’t eat any of this. Then we wanted a new tour of drinks… forget ! Between the time we chase him to take the order and the time we got the drinks we could go home by foot and come back! And when we reminded him that we order some drink he look at us and said something like “ coming”! With an amazing never seen smile! Of course never seen because he never smiled! Then the drinks arrived and even the wine was already at room temperature, do you drink white wine at room temperature? Not me ! And of course no apologies whatsoever! He just show us our presence bother him so so much! Incredible to have this kind of cheap service and behaviour in a such amazing place! So if I was you I don’t go!

The restaurant has a lovely location with a beautiful view and a welcoming staff, which initially made a great impression. However, the food was quite average. The tartare was overwhelmed by a very strong sauce, completely masking the actual flavor of the meat. The salad also had an excessive amount of dressing, making it heavy and unbalanced. What truly shocked us was being charged for water we didn’t order. We were told it was mandatory to pay for one bottle per person, even though we only requested one — and it wasn’t even bottled water, just tap. This felt dishonest and disrespectful, something I’ve never encountered in luxury restaurants. While the view and staff were nice, the combination of mediocre food and a disappointing, almost absurd approach to billing makes it a place we won’t be returning to — and certainly won’t recommend. It’s not about the money, but about principle. Once is more than enough.

What a location! A terrace overlooking the lake and an interior so exquisite, everything else pales in comparison! The food is good, beautifully platted and plentiful! My spargel salad was under seasoned but the salt lifted it up. It could use a bit of acid. Otherwise it was fresh and delicious. Waitstaff was friendly and quickly corrected the order that wasn’t put in. Mistakes happen and they dealt with it swiftly! What lingers is the interior design!

This place wants to be fancy, from the name to the price. Is it fancy ? I'm not sure: except for one waitress, the rest of the staff was quite unfriendly. The food is presented in an intricate fashion, but is it good? Not to the level you would expect: beyond the look, it is unseasoned and very basic (just like everything else here). The view is supposed to be great, except there's a giant tree hiding the lake. You end up seated on a concrete terrace with no view, on a rock solid chair, with poor service and food that is worth half its price. The only good part was a free random cocktail at the end. I'm saying "good" because thanks to their espresso martini served at 9pm, I could stay awake and not have nightmares about the "Lux gras".

Very nice and original place for a romantic, business lunch or just a casual meal with family or friends. The restaurant has a really impressive woodwork inside, with a long terrace on the side, enabling guests to dine in- and outside. Large selection of fish dishes, great wine pairing and desserts. They even have Fischerstube merch if you want to elevate your experience further!

This place is my favorite place for drinks in Zürich. I love the drinks here. I love the place too and being on top of the clouds bar was just beautiful. Nice view +1. Sadly the staff here doesn’t seem to happy or nice, they seem very money oriented and only want people who spend a lot. This is a great place to get drinks with friends. It is very expensive though but luxury has its price. The bar at the ground floor has super nice bartenders and great drinks too so if the top is full (or you’re scared of heights) the other bar is very cool too.

My daughter celebrated her 18th birthday at Venice Bar and was delighted with all aspects of the event. From the planning to the execution everything went perfectly well. She and her friends loved the atmosphere, the food and the service was beyond professional, helpful and nice. We can def. recommend the place.

What an incredible place. We had a private party with food and drinks and felt very comfortable. Top service, top location and the food and drinks were fantastic too. We would love to go again and it comes highly recommended as a bar and party location!

Hosted another networking event for ~30 people at the Venice Bar as we had such a good experience last year. The venue is great, the food and drinks are tasty and the feedback from guests was again, very positive. Kim and the team did another great job!

The drinks were great, but the food couldn‘t keep up. The service was slow and they didn‘t have the machine to create the bubble over the drink and were lacking things on the menu as well. The seats were very low, which will make you quickly uncomfortable.

A bit disappointed. We saw this advertised as a fun Sunday brunch with live music and dance from 2PM. The place looks nice and fancy, the staff is also welcoming. The food looks very instagramable, taste-wise decent, overpriced, but I guess it goes hand in hand with the alternative chic look they're going for. Food options very limited, we had to go for pizza afterwards. Music and atmosphere was nothing as advertised. Recorded music playing and then randomly a guy with a saxophone will pop out and play a few notes along with the song and then disappear again. Obviously no one was dancing. Will probably not come back.

I feel like the atmosphere was just ok. Important to note we went after work for a drink and a snack not for a party. The drinks were super nice and so was the food. And the service was also nice.

I’ve traveled all over the world this is the best sandwich I’ve ever had. It’s build your own. I did pita, extra spicy spread, chicken,spinach, bell pepper, jalapeños, and the cocktail & garlic sauce with mozzarella and they toasted it. Not a lot of seating but I was lucky.

The luxury food hall inside the department store is amazing and I love it. Everything is delicious, everything appeals to me, from fine charcuterie and exceptional cheeses to fresh pasta and made-to-order sandwiches. Here, luxury means uncompromising quality, delivering a simple yet refined gourmet experience.

A fairly large shopping center with a wide range of stores. It’s very convenient that you can find almost everything in one place – from clothes and accessories for yourself to gifts for others. The overall atmosphere is pleasant, and the navigation between floors is clear and easy, so it doesn’t take long to get oriented. At times it can feel a bit crowded inside, especially during peak hours, but otherwise everything is arranged quite neatly. The only downside is that the elevators are quite slow, so I’d recommend using the escalators instead.

You can buy amazing, hand-made ravioli here. While you boil them, they will open and whatever meagre amount of meat was there that made them worth so much money will escape ravioli and leave you with simple, empty sheets of dough. Delicious!

Cozy camping place. We got a Safari tent, for me and my daughter. The weather was cold and rainy, so we couldn’t enjoy the whole experience, but my daughter was happy. There is a small playground for kids. The tent was cold at night, and it could have been a bit cleaner. It had many bugs inside, and spiderwebs… is understandable since it’s in somewhat in nature, but it feels that for the price of a Safari tent, it could be better taken care of.

Amazing lakeside location with casual but tasty food and consistently average and slow service. Getting a table is nearly impossible without a reservation if you’re more than two people, so plan well in advance. Yet I’ve been coming for years and will continue to do so… given that it is what it is 😅 (Also stay away from the ‘vinaigrette’ concoction they put on the artichoke, avocado etc, tastes the same in every peclard restaurant - stale and sour, like it’s been sitting around too long.)

Although the location right next to the lake is great, the food however was rather disappointing for the steep price you are paying. The wiener schnitzel itself was pretty good, but it came without fries or any other side dish. We had to order the fries on the side and those were far too salty and dry. The salad was drowning in its dressing.

The only place on earth where you pay 30 CHF for a bucket full of raw vegtables 😂. First we thought it was a prank but the fact that this “creation” is sold for such a price is an absolute rip-off. On top of that we also had to pay for the tablecloth.

I wanted to show my boyfriend this place which I used to visit a lot back in the years. Unfortunately we couldn't made a reservation online since they were fully booked. But we went there anyway and tried to "walk-in". When we were there we had to wait a few minutes until someone came to put us on the waitlist. Meanwhile we had a drink at the bar. The place was very busy and we came after 8pm. When we finally got seated it took a while until the table got cleaned from the previous guests. It also took a while until we could order. When the food arrived my glas of wine was missing and they brought it when we started eating. They were running out of the artichoke but they didn't tell us until we asked where it was. The appetizer and the main were all served together and not separately. The food was also only warm and not hot. I remember it to be hot and also the fries were cold and not crispy. But we didn't wanted to complain since it took a very long time until our order came and we were really hungry. I hope they can improve in the future because they were way better before than now.

We were too lucky to land here before a wakeboard session on the lake. Super cool terrace on the lawn, very tasty and healthy dishes to share, and the waiters were very numerous and friendly. Best place near the lake on summer days for sure.

Great food, great view, friendly servers! Highly recommend stopping by for a bite and drink when the weather is nice. We ordered the BBQ ribs, meat and cheese platter, calamari, truffle fries, and fried lake fish. If you are looking for great steak, chicken, bratwurst, and ribs, this is the place! Our waiter recommended a "combo plate," which turned out to be everything grilled on a plate but billed Ala cart. But I'm ok with that, it was great food, and worth it! Our server was nice, efficient, and cheerful with helpful recommendations. The views are amazing, and the water is a great place to people watch! This is one of our favorites! Find Katharina, one of the best waitresses there! Mönchhof am See is exactly next to the lake with beautiful views of the small port and the fast n efficient service. Prices are okay for the location and it’s very spacious with many tables. And a parking next to it. Recommend it!

Very lovely evening with friends. The pizza is high quality, with fresh ingredients and simply very pleasurable to eat. The service is very kind and friendly. The only thing is that I would have loved to have more vegetarian options with different veggies on the pizza (so not like Margherita or Marinara). Recently ranked one of the Top 50 pizzerias in Europe and it seems many people come and try. I have been here before and the service is constantly good.

Tried Pizzeria da Pone and left genuinely impressed~ Definitely made it onto my list of favorite pizza spots in Zurich. ✨ We had the Mortadella and the Oro di Napoli – two very different flavors, both done really well. 🍕 The Mortadella pizza surprised me the most. It came with 🍋 pesto, which I wasn’t sure about at first, but it added such a fresh, zesty contrast to the creamy mortadella. Usually, mortadella pizzas feel a bit heavy, but this one was light, balanced, and just really pleasant to eat. Everything felt well thought out without being overdone. The Oro di Napoli was bolder – saltier, more intense in flavor, and super satisfying if you like a bit of depth! And the dough? Proper Neapolitan style – soft and fluffy inside, light and slightly crisp on the outside. Just the way it should be.

Leo at the Globus rooftop is a nice spot for dinner, but at night there’s unfortunately no real view — the strong indoor lights and window reflections make it hard to see outside. Also, there were some boxes with bottles left on the floor, which slightly spoiled the otherwise elegant atmosphere. However, the Parma pizza is amazing — highly recommended!

We used to come to Leo twice a year for birthdays, but this visit was very disappointing. The service was chaotic with two different waiters not communicating. Our bruschetta came without plates, and water we ordered never arrived. We had to chase staff just to place our main order, as they were already closing for the bar. The pasta was bland, truffle hardly noticeable, and my dish was clumped together. Sadly, after years of coming here, we won’t return for the food only for drinks.

On the last floor of the Globus department store, this is a very nice Italian restaurant. First of all you have great views for being in the centre of Zurich as it is quite high up. Restaurant itself is very nicely designed, pretty cool. Looks like it’s a place to also come on the weekend for a drink and dance as there are disco lights and DJ area, and closes at 02:00 at night. Came for lunch on a Saturday. Food itself very good, portions generous. Always reassuring to hear Italian spoken by Italians. Service generally good, super friendly staff. One small thing - no chairs for babies (our 1 year old ate in her stroller). Will return for sure.

Normally I love this restaurant. The food is pretty good so as service & ambience. Today my burger was overcooked so the meat patty became so small & dry. I was too hungry to to return back to kitchen. The pasta my friend had, she said it was good.

Very low quality food (potato chips from the plastic bags from supermarket, I have never seen this before in my whole life), high price, meat overcooked, all my requests to the waiter have not been considered.
