Got my Vietnamese coffee and chocolate croissant in less than a minute. Very speedy and kind service. The croissant was flaky, sweet, and very yummy! The coffee was strong, but still sweet. Great place for breakfast.

Great croissants which are both fairly priced and quite tasty. I stopped in this morning and picked up a coconut croissant. It was soft and a little crunchy on top. It had this shiny glaze on top which was great too. The filling was subtle and not overpowering. They also have their own parking lot so you can make a quick pit stop in the morning or stay and eat it there since they have indoor seating as well.

Tried this today because been wanting to check it out for a while and It does not disappoint. Got the house sandwich and a coconut croissant. Was worried I wouldn't like the sandwich because it had cilantro but it works very well with the other ingredients. The bread was fresh. It was crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. And the coconut croissant was awesome. It was like a donut disguised as a croissant. Very soft and actually a little moist. All in all will definitely enjoy this place again.

Best croissants in the cities! My dad took me and my brother to Trung Nam when we were kids in the 90s and it’s been our favorite bakery ever since. The blueberry croissants are my favorite and they have different flavors like apricot, almond, coconut, apple, etc. There’s a parking lot and the location is convenient, right on University Avenue. Service is friendly and efficient. Get there early though, before they run out! Yum 😋🥐

Got small baguettes and they were great to make banh mi at home and they were delicious! Very reasonable price at $1.25 a piece. Easy to reheat as well.

The croissants were great - texture, flavor, and reasonably priced. So flaky and addicting! The specialty ones could use more filling, but they were still solid. They have the plain croissant I can remember eating I wasn’t a huge fan of the banh mi, but it wasn’t bad by any means. Just didn’t stand out against other places. I would highly recommend stopping in if you have a croissant itch to scratch 😎

Came to MN to visit family from AR. Was told that this place has the BEST croissants, so I tried them today and it did not disappoint! SO GOOD. The croissants are the perfect amount of sweetness: not too sweet (IYKYK). Like everyone says, don’t let the outside fool you! They have the BEST croissants!

I absolutely love these treats! I feel like I go and grab something every other week or so from this place. Not only are they pretty and exquisite, they are delicious! I usually try to order ahead because they sell out pretty quickly and even then lines can be crazy long just to pick up an order. But that just shows how good these are, so totally worth it. my recommendation is to just order ahead if you can

Wow! The croissant was perfect — beautifully layered with airy pockets and that rich French butter aroma. The shop itself is stunningly decorated. It’s a pity I arrived around 2 p.m. both days, and most of the pastries were already sold out. I promise that if I ever visit this city again, I’ll come back early in the morning just for them!

Definitely it’s one of the best patisseries in the twin cities. The closest taste to Paris croissants. The decoration indoor and outdoor is nice. Staff are super friendly. Pistachio chocolate croissant is a must try. You eat extra calories without feeling guilty. 22$ for 4 pieces of croissants. This place is now on my favorite places list.

Greetings, the two cup pastries we're pretty good. But the chocolate pistachio croissants , croissant was really dry and old it may be because the it was setting out no rapper no cover. Also they have a outdoor patio with umbrellas. You will have a hard time parking.

Great pastry! We tried the Chocolate Croissant and the one with mushroom stuffing. Both were great. The price is very reasonable compared with other coffee shops I've tried. The POS did not ask for tips, which is great. Would definitely return if I'm in the Saint Paul area.

Cute little quaint French backery and coffee shop. Yummy treats and delicious coffee. Chocolate crossiant could have used more chocolate- had a small trail in the middle. Just recommend asking if youd like your pastry heated. Lavender coffee was delicious.

You would expect a $10 ham and cheese croissant to have flawless execution but we ordered 2 and they were literally completely different. One of them didn't even rise and was extremely doughy. I don't understand how the person working there could deliver one after the other to us and not think it was weird??

I’ve been wanting to visit this boulangerie for a while because I’ve lived in France, and love authentic French pastries and bread. When I walked in, I immediately noticed the delicious smell that reminded me of boulangeries in France. I ordered a plain butter croissant, pain au chocolat, the savory spinach-feta-walnut croissant, and a coffee. The savory croissant was very tasty and fresh, and the coffee was great, too. It was a nice day, so I enjoyed sitting on the patio next to the boulangerie. There is not much seating inside. The first young woman I ordered from seemed new. I told her I was going to eat the savory croissant “here” and she handed it to me on a napkin. I asked her for a plate, and she didn’t know they had plates. Another employee showed her the plates, and said most customers take their food to go. I spent about $20 plus tip. It’s a cute place, and it’s good to support small businesses.

I did a Toogoodtogo order for $7 and received two dry croissants, one extremely dry savory croissant, an unknown muffin flavor, and a sad excuse of a chocolate croissant. I think the food is just genuinely not good nor high quality like the impressions they present on the website. I was excited to save food waste but it’s like cmon it’s all deathly dry, old, poor variety, and it’s all thrown into one bag. So I got this garlic croissant all over my unknown sweet muffin. I was so excited and this was a huge let down. This is food that should’ve been given away for free. Also if you check the picture of the muffin it looks like someone took a bite lol. I’m not eating any of this.

I ordered a simple raised chocolate donut here around 8am on a weekday. It was very dry, what you might expect from a gas station or low quality grocery store. I then proceeded to kowalskis where I enjoyed a donut that was higher quality and cheaper.

Amazing bakery! The women that made my drink was so friendly and helpful, the chocolate croissant and Long john donut I had were very good and tasty. It's almost a good thing I live 15 minutes away because I would gain weight coming here otherwise.

A very sweet bakery store with lots of baked goods! This bakery does service ice and hot drinks, coffee and espresso with different types of flavors depending on the day. The donuts are very delicious and fresh. All of the bakery is fresh. The croissants were crunchy yet soft in the mouth. You can grab these to go or there are seats and tables outside. Parking is only accessible on the street. Going inside, it is a bit tight. Overall, an excellent place to stop for sweets if you're craving it.

Came on a field trip, this place is really committed to sustainability and the service is amazing, what a beautiful environment in their bus to chill out in.

Stopped on a whim and was blown away! Pasteries are spectacular: high quality ingredients and materfully crafted and blanced. Litterally everything we tried was "the best" version of that thing. Of particular note was how moist and light the dough was even on traditionally "dry" pateries like the scones; the base was every bit as delicious as the toppings.

The one spot that I can comfortably say, I fully trust. And definitely enjoy any bakery goods I get, weather it's the cinnamon spinner or the chocolate croissant and the list goes on. They have a variety of goods including all sorts of breads. The staff is always so friendly and really care about the costumer. The prices are honestly reasonable, for the economy we have ATM. Always a spot that I have to stop by, whenever I am in the area. Please support this business. Very genuine business with genuine people behind it! 🙂

Randomly drove past and decided to stop for a treat—didn’t even get to my car before diving in! Loved my afterschool special cookie and cardamom spinner. Enjoyed both with an iced almond latte. Staff was kind and an appropriate level of chatty.

The After School Special cookie is always 10/10! Also the blue bus for seating is a great mini escape from the outside world!

It’s one of our best spot for years and truly a great place to bring family and friends. The spread of food is good and healthy. There is lots of offers! The deserts are delicious and you’d find a favorite definitely. One of mines is the fruit tart! For my meal, chicken salsa soup and all the fixings!

Went here for the first time after hearing great things about it for years and was extremely impressed! We had a decent sized group of people that came and our server was extremely helpful and patient easily some of the best service I’ve ever experienced. Bathrooms were clean and lighting was nice creating a cool atmosphere. The food was also amazing. Servers name was Jonah so if you go here and get him as your waiter you’ll be will taken care of!

Honestly I have been here for the past 8-9 years including during the pandemic so I don't know why I have not given it a review yet, but suffice it to say that for someone like me who doesn't even really eat cake, I will come here specifically for cake. That's how good they are. Before and after the pandemic, their cake quality has stayed consistent. They also publish on their website what cakes they have everyday in addition to the 9 types that are available everyday, so that those that really enjoy a special item can plan ahead. I took photos of some of the items that I have traditionally ordered the most, both before and after the pandemic, but I would also recommend the classic vanilla cheesecake and the turtle cake, which are not pictured. In addition to cake, their hot food is also pretty good, with various options of soup and bread available for a reasonable price and pizzas baked fresh next door near the register where one would order or pick up whole cakes. Prices have increased over the years and for some reason the pizza doesn't taste as fresh (both the basil and the mozzarella), and looks a bit smaller, which might be my illusion. That doesn't change the fact that this establishment is worth a 5 in my book, though. Whenever I have friends visiting from out of town and wants to try cake, this would be the first place I bring them to.

A little confusing at first but the food is great. Loved the two cheesecakes I tried (strawberry rhubarb and raspberry white chocolate which was my favorite!!!!) got the spiced late. Not super strong espresso but still tasty. Chicken Caesar pasta salad was yummy too!

I love you guys 😍 by far the best cakery in MN, I go every time I come back. Every single cake is divine. I normally don’t like non-chocolate cakes, but one of my favorites is the fruit tart! We just got our wedding cakes from here (yes, they are that good) and everyone was raving about them. If you haven’t been, go right now. If they aren’t open yet, then check out Bread&Chocolate their sister shop that does breakfast pastries (and kitty corner to Cafe Latte). A Saint Paul staple!

A friend brought me here and I'm glad she did. I had a salad, choosing the 3 different salad plate. They were all delicious, so much so that I wouldn't be able to come back and just chose one 😊. My friend also bought a mango tres leches cake to share, it was delicious. I liked the atmosphere, however there was a man, in the cafeteria side, at the back asking the window, that was on a call and he was loud. We avoided sitting in this area due to that. It did not look like he worked there, nonetheless I can't imagine it was comfortable for anyone sitting on that side of the cafe. I live quite a distance from here so I would only come back when I'm in the area.

Cafe Latte did not disappoint. They over achieved and I benefited. Had a slice of the Chocolate Turtle cake and it was as good as it looks! Amazing

Very delicious cinnamon pecan roll and chocolate croissant. I really enjoyed their Pumpkin Spice latte too! Worth a try if you’re in the mood for breakfast croissants and coffee. Very polite and informative staff. Wide open space if you want to bring family or friends. We were not a fan of the scones or cream cheese raspberry croissant due to odd textures.

If you looking for a Sunday morning coffee and a pastry, that is the place to go. This place have all other options like Panini toast and sandwiches but made me have selection of coffee and pastry. I did try their chocolate croissant and it was packed and delicious.

To start with the staff member who served us was very nice, the coffee we had was excellent taste for the double espresso and a small Americano it was 6.8 dollars I think, it was worth it

A cute and busy cafe. The croissants are delicious, if I could recommend all of them, I would. A must try if you go in. They also have sandwiches (both breakfast and lunch) and salads. The coffee is very sweet, maybe ask for less than the normal amount of syrup flavoring.

Loved place as soon as I walked in. The wait staff was very helpful and informative being my first time there. My food was excellent and my drink was better then I thought it would be. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm in that neighborhood.

The food of this place is incredible, but my whole reason of leaving a review is because they have to do something about their line situation. There are 2 doors that come in and feed to multiple registers. One of the registers you don’t even get to see the pastries before you would order and pay, so you have to go to the pastry case and order and then fight your way back through the crowd just to pay, then go way down to get coffee. People also don’t know how lines work, so it just turns into a chaotic mosh pit of line cutting. It feels like just one line that goes past the deli and pastries and ends by the coffee would keep things much cleaner.

The pastries and the latte were really good! I would definitely go back, but maybe at another time other than a Sunday morning. They were extremely busy. I had actually placed my order online, and took me about fifteen minutes to get there. When I arrived, I had to wait an additional 10-15 min for my latte to be made, so there wasn’t really a point for me to order online. I probably would have gotten my coffee and pastries at the same time as if I had waited online.

I wish I would have skimmed the reviews here before trusting Wuollet with a birthday cake. Photos are the cake we ordered online, and the one waiting for us when we went to pick it up. I should note we had to write the message ourselves and my daughter helped decorate it. I wouldn't trust Wuollet with a donut, much less a cake.

We were so happy with our cake and our expectations were greatly exceeded. Great customer service and they really cared about carrying out my requests. The cake was absolutely stunning. We stared at the cake for a good hour prior to cutting because it is so beautiful. Exactly what I wanted and recipient was stunned as well. My beach theme request was very much honored and wow- such beauty for our event and wonderful memories created. Very accommodating for allowing room for my own cake topper and extra pieces (my purchase- not from Wuollet). Thank you so much again! Cake was delicious too and perfectly made. We will most definitely be back for our next cake event!

Lively and central location in the Lyn/Lake Uptown area. Great if you’re on the way to work and want to pick up a dozen donuts for coworkers or just grab a quick coffee, which they have a wide variety of. They also have a wide selection of cupcakes and other baked goods. Bit pricey. Atmosphere is clean, modern, and hip with plenty of natural light —I believe Instagrammable is the word. Great spot to work, catch up with a friend, and grab a bite. Staff are very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Recently opened. Hope they stick around!

Any place that has a dynamite princess cake at all times is a wonder, and I will frequent. They often have groupons, and I have never had anything here that didn't seem like it was made with love. Absolutely 100% amazing.

We ordered a full sheet party cake and were thrilled with the result. Everyone asked where the cake came from and noted it was the best cake they had ever had. We got a traditional marble sheet cake with buttercream icing. The decorator did a fantastic job with our request for spring flowers. I've been ordering cakes from Woullet's for over 30 years and they never disappoint. Thank you for helping to make our party a success!

Probably my favorite pastry place of all time. Innovative flavors, soft and delicate pastry; a variety of other absolutely delicious baked goods. Hardly ever a line. I only wish I lived nearby, I'd be a diehard regular!

We stopped at Rose Street Patisserie because my daughter wanted to try macrons. We ended up purchasing a chocolate mousse and the assorted macarons. I didn’t care much for the macarons, but my daughter loved them. The chocolate mousse was decent as well. I’d like to go back and try some different items.

The Pros: The atmosphere was laid-back, and I loved how bright and open the café is. A nice spot to relax. There’s a wide variety of bake goods. I watched the beads just fly off the self! I will definitely go back to try the olive Sourdough. I kept eyeing it and had FOMO because by the time I left there was maybe only two baguettes left! the sourdough Challah and there was another bread was completely sold out! The Cons: The croissant to me is a classic French pastry. While the presentation was beautiful the exterior was flaky, crusty and covered in almond slices, the interior was dense and cake-like. My friend picked her croissant up and the top literally came off, exposing the cake texture. The almond flavoring was overpowering and I didn’t mind but it seemed like an attempt to compensate for the texture, making it feel more like a croissant-shaped cake than a true croissant. The Matcha with lavender and honey sounded great but lacked depth in flavor. It wasn’t super earthy but it wasn’t sweet either. All and all I will try another time I just will skip those two menu items.

After visiting Patina yesterday for some gift shopping, my sisters and I decided to stop into Rose Street Patisserie for some treats. For context, all three of us are visibly Black women. Upon entrance, staff looked at us glaringly but didn’t greet us, after a minute or so of standing there, we still hadn’t been spoken to. Not a “I’ll be with you in a moment” or “Let me know if you need anything”, nothing. So knowing that my money is just as green as the next persons, I encouraged my sisters we leave. We ended up at Yum! Bakery where we had an incredibly kind experience. Interestingly enough, as we left Rose Street Patisserie, another black woman walked in, and she also ended up walking out empty handed and across the street to Yum! Very gross experience, won’t be back and will not longer be patronizing by way of the co-op’s either. Shame on you.

I have a bit of an obsession with patisseries; I had researched places for my visit to Minnesota and originally came across Mark Heu Patisserie, but Rose Street was also mentioned. I couldn't decide so I went to both, and I have to say Rose Street is better. Mark Heu was beautiful (and James Beard awarded) but they were a little greasy. The flavors of Rose Street were just so luscious and decadent. They also have a sister company 'Patisserie 46' that I had not tried while I was visiting, but it'll be on my To-Go list for next time! We tried: Lemon Tart petit - "This tart has vibrant citrus notes of lemon and lime perfectly balancing the delicately sweet sucré tart shells. Simplistic and yet a culinary delight for those who appreciate bright zesty flavors of citrus fruit." Raspberry Tart Petit - "Delicately sweet almond cream and vanilla pastry cream bedded in a crisp sucré tart shell topped with fresh raspberries and lychee jellies." Lucia Petit - "Smooth, velvety dark chocolate mousse with moist and airy chocolate sponge cake and delicate vanilla cream atop a crunchy base featuring toasted almonds and sweet praline finished with a creamy milk chocolate hazelnut glaçage." Isla - "Beautiful layers of jaconde sponge, zesty lime mousse and exotic gelee crowned with coconut chantilly and exotic fruit salsa." Chocolat -"Dark chocolate mousse, 72% ganache, flourless chocolate biscuit and chocolate hazelnut crumble." Blueberry Tart - "Crisp sucré tart shell filled with almond cream, vanilla pastry cream and blueberry + lemon verbena geleé crowned with fresh blueberries and fresh mint leaf." Ruby - "A delightful combination of fresh strawberries atop a pillow of white chocolate chantilly, strawberry geleé, almond sponge and sablé basque." Their specials vary each week, so their menu is not always the same, but I genuinely believe anything you order from this place will be just as delicious as another. If you're in the StP area, Rose Street Patisserie is a must.

I pre-ordered spinach-artichoke mini brioche and lemon tarts for a baby shower, and everything was beyond beautiful and incredibly delicious. I could seriously eat these two items every day. My guests were very happy! Max and Sandy were so easy to work with via email, too. I will definitely order again for future events and gatherings.

This is without a doubt a top 3 bakery in the cities right now. This place is beyond anything that you could dream of for your local bakery. Everything is HYPER seasonal and absolutely amazing. Don’t expect to see much the same from week to week, as they clearly prioritize freshness, and seasonality. When you show up, come hungry. This isn’t the place to stop by for a snack. Get a lot and be full for the next 4 hours. My recommendation to anyone going would be to get a polish roll, something from the cold case, and something else. Anything you choose will be a home run. Yes, there is a line that you will have to wait in… but the neighborhood is friendly. Bring your coffee and make some friends as you wait. I promise that it’s worth it.

Everything I have had here has been consistently wonderful. Dress appropriately for the weather and at times there is a small wait but it is worth every minute. They are kind, community minded folk and it is a joy to support them.

WONDERFUL baked goods! If you live within 20 mins of here, what are you doing NOT eating here every weekend? The only downside is the wait...line up early and expect each transaction to take 3-5 minutes. Worth every second of wait time, though! We'll be back again the next time were in town!

I'm obsessed! Laune bread produces pastry wizardry. Truly in awe of how good everything they make is. Update: I've been coming here regularly for over a year now and I've never ever been disappointed. The pastries are varied and wonderful, the staff is so friendly, and the space is bright and welcoming. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

First time trying this neighborhood gem and bought a box of pastries to sample. Little did I know that Laune leans heavy into using whole wheat and most of their items are vegan! It does make for a heartier and denser taste - which takes a bit of an adjustment for me on the pastry side. Next time I aim to try their breads as I tend to enjoy whole wheat breads more.

Longfellow is so lucky to have such a great local bakery in our neighborhood! The bread and pastries are awesome, the staff is wonderful, and also the pizzas on Friday are a fun lunch option. Love this bakery and can’t say enough good things about it!

Heavenly bread! Just amazing. Every one I have tried is incredible. Their hearty/dense German rye breads are amazing! I generally lean towards their bread over baked goods as I like a little more white flour and airiness in my pasteries. This I don’t think is a fault of theirs as they have a path and stick to it. That being said their orange anise spiral, sesame ball, dal filled croissant, and rye cookies are really amazing (fyi I think all those names are wrong more just descriptors of the product). Also if you like tea you have to buy the sticky rice black tea they sell. You can get it to drink there or buy some to go. It is soooo good! The service and vibe there is always warm and friendly. This place is amazing and worth checking out if you are a bread fan.

Beautiful breads, mostly in the German style. Great for sandwiches at home, and the examples they have in store are outstanding. Laune prioritizes locally grown grains and whole grain milling, including barley, mullet, and rye as well as wheat.

Laune Bread is a lovely light-filled bakery on Lake St. Their breads and croissants are excellent, and they have a top notch selection of food products and gift items. I’ve enjoyed their tea and coffee.

*Updated 4/24: Laune started doing subscriptions and delivery to a number of places in town, and recently updated their app for both! We have been getting in our order on Sunday's and picking up at Dogwood NE. We always get a loaf of bread and then our weekly end of week pastries. LOVE that we can have Laune close to home. This place is THE best! *** Best bakery in town right now! This was my first time here and I got a number of things for take out. We ate every single thing we bought here, and more importantly liked it. It's a bit more of an 'earthy' bakery ~ perfect in our book. I really enjoyed the sandwich, and bought extra buns to make more sandwiches later in the week (froze them for a couple of days and they were still great after unthawing!). I was a little bummed the women in front of me slowly bought almost all the cookies they had; oh well guess I will have to come back. I really appreciate (and love to support) the effort's they make to support local farmers/use local ingredients ~ pretty amazing in this day and age. Tiff (I recognized her from their website) even came and packed up some of my goods noticing I was waiting :). The woman staffing the counter was very nice. Bright airy space (I can see if they had more seating it would be a popular hangout). Street parking (when there isn't the remnants of winter storms) seemed plentiful. The only thing I don't like about this place is that it isn't closer to where I live (Nordeast), but that makes it an extra special outing.

Sadly, this treasure continues to go down hill since it was bought by wuollets. Their croissant sandwiches and American tea cakes used to be our go-to. Now, you get half the egg & sausage and you’re lucky if the croissant is baked correctly. The American tea cakes are more often than not under proved. And of course, the prices continue to go up while the quality declines.

I did not grow up with tres leches. So I am no expert. But their cake is seared into my brain now -it was delicious. Had their blueberry cheese danish which was very good as well.

We've been going to A Baker's Wife for over ten years. Their cake donuts have always been good. However, today the cake donut was on another level! The cake donut was much more fluffy and tender than it usually is. I don't know what they changed but whatever it was was for the better. If you weren't a fan before you owe it to yourself to try it again.

My go-to neighborhood bakery. Simple, but delicious! The state fair cake donut is perfection with a light fluffy interior that hits just right. The best part of any cozy morning 😁

This bakery is a shell of its former self. I used to love going over to this well stocked friendly neighborhood spot. On my last visit, there was only one person working and she wasn't even visible when I walked in. She was on the phone to someone in the back room. After eventually walking around behind the counter, I finally got her attention. She stayed on her call for another minute and finally came out to wait on me. In addition to substandard service, the selection and product quality (hard, stale donuts) has also gone way downhill lately. It appears that the new owner is destroying this bakery the same ways they did the Wuollet chain. Such a shame.

First of all, I am Thai! If you had real Thai food before this is yr spot! Foods are Amazing and authentic. The owner is really friendly. All ingredients that they put on my food is 10/10 I don’t know how can they prepared in the kitchen for 100+ menus. How they can afford to put so many things on 1 plate. Idk why people rate them low stars , they maybe never had real Thai food before or the taste ways too complicated for them with ours Thai herbs. Those herbs are so expensive here! I really appreciate them to put real ingredients on it! This is hidden gems !!!

Delicious authentic thai food. Lots of choices in menu. Big portion. Fast service. Friendly and polite staffs. Ample free parking at both side of building.

There are two reasons why you should eat here. They are roast duck curry, and the red curry. They do have other yummy options, but those two are the absolute highlight in my view. My wife also loves the mango smoothie, so I highly recommend that as well.

A pleasant dining experience. Nice surroundings and a very helpful staff. They really seem to know what they are doing here. I had stir fried basil chicken, very tasty. The dish itself wasn’t that big but it came with a lot of rice so I definitely got enough to eat. I’m definitely coming back. Recommended.

Not sure if the quality of this food has gone down due to inflation or what. #9, #53, #79. No complaints about #9 however the others were really salty and seemed to be packed with either a lot of rice or a lot of vegetables. You would think you pay 20 bucks for duck and would get more duck. BS. Usually this place is not as upsetting however, not sure I’ll return any time soon. Also customer service is the worst. You order online and expect a hello hi or smile when you pick up your order. Nothing. Guy at the counter looked pissed and didn’t even care what you were saying. No thank you, nothing. Save your money and go eat somewhere else.

The food was amazing. Probably the most authentic Thai food out there. The service was just a little slow as they seem to be understaffed. The food took about 17 minutes after order was placed. Everything was warm and made fresh. The menu is a bit overwhelming because there is so many options. The seafood papaya was delicious on a spicy level. The fried chicken is lacking seasoning and the spicy noodles was delicious. The stir-fried red snapper filet with black pepper sauce was the best dish that I had during this visit. Great size of fish pieces and the flavor was amazing. The egg rolls were delicious and the deep fried pork was the best appetizer. The portion was big and the sauce complements the pork perfectly. Definitely recommend this place and be patient with the busy staffs.

Pros: Variety of food options, big place with many tables, friendly staff Cons: Very small portions compared to the price charged. Basil noodle dish is about 60% portions of the to-go box. Yam woon sen is just half of the box while the other half is the side vegetables which they could have packed it separately. Boat noodle soup is also small portions. We got extra $1 noodle but don’t see much difference for that extra amount. Dries noodle is very salty. Overall, we were a bit disappointed. Probably we would not go back. I didn’t get the chance to take pictures of the food because of some circumstances.

Tried Potters Pasties Food Truck last night at Venn Brewing. Got the Traditional & Sausage. Can’t say enough good things about it! I was not expecting that much flavor. The apple butter dip with the sausage put it over the top. Placed an online order when they opened this morning to stock up on their frozen pasties. Great service!

Easily some of the best food I've ever had, and it's super unique. I love the young man who plays metal and sings, and the rest of the family is good peopl, no doubt. I was honestly afraid to go down the stairs at first, but it's very much worth it. Unfortunately I moved out of the neighborhood, but I will try and come back whenever I'm around. Love this place to DEATH!! Perfect vibes.

Visiting from STL on a work trip. This place is amazing!!! Got the traditional, Thai veggie and Mac n cheese. Also snagged a jar of their pickle relish. If I'm up here again I gotta go back! 🤤😋

I ordered a Sausage Roll and a Chicken Pasty. Service was fast and super friendly. From the time I walked up to the truck until I walked back into the office was about 2 minutes. Both items were delicious and extremely filling. My only complaint is that I'm at work for another 5 hours and fighting off a food coma, not a bad problem to have. 10 out of 10 would order from again! (No pictures because I couldn't stop eating)

The person who was working there was super nice and the food was great. It was fun because my wife and I got to learn about a new band and got to rock out a bit. Super chill and quick service.

I was looking forward to experiencing the food truck, but it was not the best experience. The guy running the truck seemed to not want to be there. I've had the chicken pasty before, so I tried the traditional one this time. Unfortunately, the dough was par cooked, and I kept tasting it the rest of the day. Not enjoyable.

Very Hardy meal. Well seasoned. Tonight our group ate 2 Pig with apple dipping sauce, 1 Chicken Pot Pie (meaty) and 1 Thai Veg (perfect heat from the spices) Pasties. Amazingly flaky crust. Thanks for parking outside Utepils Brewery.

been here so many times and they have never failed me. i love their bagels so much but their bialys are even better. they also offer vegan cream cheese options!

Food is great, atmosphere is not. Over 2 years in the neighborhood and still their tables and space are "closed for COVID". It's not like we have hundreds of storefronts here, either use the space or give it up for others to use! We in the community like to hangout places and sit and socialize and there is limited space for that. If you don't want to welcome in the community around you, get out and go to the suburbs.

Their everything bagel is *everything*! All other everything bagels pale in comparison. Very generous schmear too! Masks required and they offer masks and hand sanitizer right inside the door for kids and adult sizes.

I have been to Asa's twice, and as much as it pains me to say this, today was my last time. The good: Asa's bagels are coated well and have great flavor. I've had several, but by far the everything bagel is the best because it is generously coated and well balanced between the garlic, poppyseed, etc. Also, the cream cheeses are great! Fresh and mixed in house. Staff is nice. The bad: Closed dining room. Like many people, I have taken covid precautions very seriously over the last few years. Vaccines, masks, social distancing, and all the rest. BUT, let's be real folks...It's 2024.. The public health authority says that masks are no longer needed in the Twin Cities. So, I do find it a bit inconvenient that they require masks, do not have good seating space, or any sit down service. That kind of leads me into another gripe; Why the tipping screen? During covid times when restaurants transitioned to take-out only, many kept their tip options to help pay staff. Which I totally understood such temporary measures. However, it has been 4 years guys; Autotipping should not be expected for counter service, which your restaurant now falls into. Please pay your employees a fair wage and charge the customers accordingly. Now, the UGLY: All of what I've written above I would ordinarily dismiss as not a big deal. I would not even consider any of these aforementioned problems if not for this one issue... This restaurant does not use enough cream cheese in their bagels. Simply, not enough cheese. FOLKS, look at my photo and judge for yourself. It is 8:30 pm and I sit here, hours later, reeling internally at the bagel I got this morning. What could have been an absolute masterpiece of a bagel, capable of rivaling NYC, was resigned to just another sad attempt at gourmet. Asa's bakery, why are you going to invest so much effort into your bagels, your flavors, your staff, etc. but to skimp on something so basic? Laughable. I've read other people's reviews, and your lack of cream cheese seems to be an ongoing issue. Please for the love of God, respect the schmear! I've been told the owner is from NYC, but apparently they forgot how to apply cream cheese. Some will say this review is too brutal, but many will say your respect for the schmear is absent. ($8 for this bagel)

This is my fave bagel shop hands down. But seriously, the last few months have been bleak with the amount of cream cheese you get. If it’s an extra $1, and the bagel is already expensive, it just doesn’t seem worth it anymore.

These bagels are incredible- so chewy and delicious. I love the small menu and everyone that works here is always so sweet and attentive. There is plenty of seating and street parking about a block away. The selection of canned fish is a plus too!

Lovely little bagel shop. Their bagels are only takeout due to covid precautions as others said. Though others may complain about this, I felt very safe because my health felt cared for and I knew the employees were too. This also blends into food safety as well. Anyway, my lox sandwich was sooooo good and it had fresh dill on it as well. Very delightful everything bagel as well. I need to come get some Sourdough next time!!

Despite the quite frankly outrageous prices they get away with by being the only grocery store downtown. I continued to shop there out of convenience until a recent experience and will never be giving them my business again. So I was frequent buyer of their lunch bar, probably 3 times a week a or so. Well this past visit as I'm filling up my food box I put in a couple of these fried corn nugget looking things, they weren't labeled and wasn't sure what they were so I took a little bite out of one I had gotten to see what it was... "HEY! YOU CAN NOT BE EATING OUR FOOD YOU HAVEN'T PAID FOR!" yells a large miserable looking woman as she runs up to me. Taken aback, I calmly tell her they weren't labeled and was just curious what they were. This woman continues to yell some more being unbelievably rude... over the nibble of a this little fried nugget out of my 30$ box of food I'm about to buy. Even crazier, after checking out, I go back to her and mention it how unprofessional it was to treat a paying customer that way, she claims I was recognized from a week ago eating their food then throwing it away. I can only assume what she was referring to was a time last week when when after a had taken my box to the food bar and seeing they were basically out of the mashed potatoes and chicken tenders, I threw away my empty box, left and came back later when they had put fresh food out. To hear this crazy woman ranting to me, someone who has been buying food there multiple times a week for ages, as if I was some lowly thief was astonishing. I'm happy to never spend another dime here though.

Thank you for being the last grocery store in Downtown Saint Paul. After downtown traffic has struggled to recover post-Covid, many businesses have left the area. Hours were recently reduced, which is very unfortunate, but at least there is still a place you can really to get groceries. Without your store I could never live in Downtown without a car. Sadly, a few people cause lots of trouble around here and the store needed to hire a full-time police officer for security. I really wish Downtown would get serious about the crime problem again and everyone could feel safe. If they don’t, none of our treasured businesses will stay.

The staff is super helpful I am so sad the store had to cut their hours and some of their merchandise. I would like to make a suggestion to keep the store viable. Sell alcohol. Provide free delivery on grocery / alcohol orders over $100.

After a long drive I stopped in at 6:40 to do some quick shopping before heading home. I know you close at 7 and I'm never the person to keep people I only need 10 minutes to shop. I asked to use the restroom and was told it gets locked at 6:30, look, people have medical conditions if you are open your bathroom should be too. Needless to say I didn't get to do my shopping because I had to leave to find a bathroom. I will not be back.

They shortened their hours to 8 hours. If you live and work downtown, you wouldn’t be able to buy anything unless you rush, given the limited hours. It is my personal opinion that it no longer qualifies as a grocery store; a grocery store would have a bakery and deli…which they closed down too. The quality of their products continues to diminish, and they are grossly over priced, compared to their competitors. I’ll have my food delivered from Whole Foods from now on. It’s lower priced, higher quality, and they actually have a bakery and deli. *I’m changing my review from one to two stars based on the return of fresh loaves of artisan breads, as it was when the bakery was in store. * Review change 2: I’m seeing a continued restoration of products as the weeks progress, since the initial cut in hours and reduction in some product availability. I’m bumping it up another star. If they increased their hours and had someone behind the counter with a fresh steak, it’d be a 5 star store. I still wouldn’t do majority shopping here due to prices, but the store can be convenient.

I go to this Lunds & Byerlys location to buy my sushi on sale for $6 sushi special Wednesdays. I can report that this store is always very clean, organized, good parking, has friendly service and a great food selection. The cashier named Ron helped me check out the last few times and he was above and beyond friendly and personable. No complaints here.

The deli options, deals, layout, and hot food bar are OK, but wish they had healthier options. Also its quite an expensive store, especially the produce, and there is no legit rewards program. I think I once received a $5 off $25 or something but that was years ago. Still, its a very important addition to a failing downtown St Paul. Without this place, STP would be a disastrous ghost town. Would really like to see Lunds and Kowalskis focus more on carrying healthy products. I drive by this store all the time in order to get to a Whole Foods or one of the Co Ops.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. I came here after a poor experience at a nearby coffee shop. I was immediately greeted by smiles, exceptional looking food, and a fun atmosphere with good music. The employees were very personable and I let them know they were my second stop of the morning. I ordered the quiche, which was amazing and came with a little side salad. They also brought me a free cookie because of my sad time at the other coffee shop!! I will definitely be returning. Spread the news!

Absolutely amazing food and service- i got the ham hash and my husband got the cinnamon roll french toast- we also got a brownie and mini pumkin pie upon reccomendation which were so amazing i didnt get to snap a photo. The potatoes were absolutely amazing and crispy on the outside.

The chicken pot pie was absolutely delicious. So flavorful, and I’ve never had a crust like this before. It was perfectly flaky and buttery, almost like a croissant.

The review underneath me is talking about some Marie Calendars BS. They don’t know what real food is! Listen, we drove all the way from Minnetonka to try this place. I’m making this review after eating my breakfast biscuit.. I haven’t even tried the pie yet. That biscuit sandwich was BOMB! Like seriously, DELICIOUS! It was worth every penny! Not to mention that the service was amazing! I think our cashiers name was Tara - she’s a sweetie! Very clean and chill atmosphere and we will definitely be back.

On a recent visit to family in Minneapolis, this quickly became a frequent stop. Amazing offerings of baked goods, breakfast and lunch offerings. Oh, and really great breads. The raspberry, bran and chocolate chip muffins were favorites. All the sandwiches, quiches and soups were fresh and delicious too. In an era of chain bakeries (Paris Baguette or le Pain Quotidian), it was refreshing to have such a wide selection of high quality, home made goods. It’s like being in your mom’s kitchen (if she was a really talented baker/cook) with favorite offerings available. Nice indoor and outdoor seating areas and bathrooms.

Turtle Bread is a true neighborhood establishment. I love to come after neighborhood events, and I really feel like I’m part of the community when I stop by. The coffee is great, and every dish I’ve tried has been excellent. Their crispy potatoes are wonderful. I love that they have counter service and plenty of seating. Such a great brunch spot!

Yummy homemade bakery items, entrees and soups. I live in S St. Paul, not near the Longfellow neighborhood, but make special trips over there a couple of times a month for breakfast or lunch.

A little of a disappointment compared to the other Turtle Bread on Chicago. Pancakes were not as tasty. Bland. The pancakes at the Chicago locations were amazing. These were disappointing. Latte had no flavor. $1 extra for syrup $1 for alternative milk Chocolate Chip Cookie not worth $2.75. Just a normal cookie maybe worth a dollar. The venue itself was good. I liked the location and service was good. Just disappointed on the food and coffee

Great café for a quick bite, dessert, or coffee. They have plenty of options for breakfast and lunch with a wide variety of sweets and breads. This is a great stop to pick up food for a picnic or summer lunch.

Nice spot for coffee, breakfast items or sandwiches. My barista was super nice and helpful. Also, we brought our Shar Pei pup in to sit with us. She's a very good dog and was allowed to join us, which was appreciated. Oh yeah, and the Miller High Life for two is a cool idea!

This is a very spacious bakery, with plenty of seating. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and good with recommendations. The food comes in nice size portions (any of their sandwiches are a prefect shareable) and it's sooo good. I also enjoy the mimosas. The environment is perfect for meetings, study, dates, and just because. I highly recommend!

Everything was absolutely gorgeous! I love the setup of the place. They had diverse seating, which I love! The baker's seem to do everything in their, I don't know if bakers are also the dishwashers, but I do hope that's a separate job. And I also hope they're being paid reasonable wages for all of their responsibilities. It's not common for the bakers/ cooks to do everything in a restaurant. They better be living very comfortably for all of their responsibilities! The service was friendly and attentive! Our food was exquisite, and it was my first time there and it was above my expectations! Absolutely amazing and I will suggest this place to all my friends!

I just moved into the area and was super excited to try this place because the restaurant's atmosphere is really cute! I will say that getting into/exiting the parking space is difficult, but that's because it's literally on the busiest corner of Snelling and Selby. Otherwise I'd recommend it for it's coffee and baked goods. I'd say the service is good- it's a mix of self-serve (getting your own drink and condiments), and plates are served to you if you're dining in. The service reminds me of Noodles & Company if that helps? Otherwise the people who work there are all friendly and casual, super great staff! Aside from coffee, baked goods, and staff- if you're someone who enjoys savory and flavorful food, I wouldn't suggest the place as a lot of the entrees taste simple and bland. I do think there's a quality issue of dishes made from my two experiences of dining here (breakfast & lunch) where my partner paid $63 for two eggs, two small (dehydrated) sausage patties, and a small side of potatoes, followed by a dinner I had a different day of paying $43 for a side plate of green beans (which had several unplucked, half-cooked beans), and pasta. If you're someone who enjoys more plain dishes, or has kids who are on the more picky side of eating, I'd actually recommend the place. Surprisingly, I think the restaurant does a good job catering to kid's food interests because of how simple the menu is, and if you're a parent looking to go out to dine with your kids (with hopes they'll eat from the menu), I would recommend this place.

I thought the sandwich said I had was really good I wasn't super really impressed with the hot chocolate it didn't have a lot of flavor. The atmosphere was great. The customer service was awesome. I think for the hot chocolate it's just a preference for me it doesn't make theirs not great just for me I like a bolder flavor. What made the customer service grade is they brought everything out and when they saw your finished with something they immediately grabbed it and took it away from the table. Overall the experience has always been great when I go and eat there and their food is really good

Honestly very nicely decorated, very kind and friendly staff helpful in understanding menu items especially if gluten free. The food seemed pre-made and processed. The chicken had fake grill lines on it, looked straight out of a bag of frozen chicken. Just not great quality meat. Salad was great but could have done with paying extra for the meat. Salad was a large portion, great flavors. I will say breakfast was phenomenal, great portion, bacon cooked to perfection. More of a breakfast and pastry place is what I would recommend for this place.

It was "Okay". I got the fish and chips. The portion was really good. The batter on the fish was crispy and nicely done. However, after about two pieces, I could taste how oily the fish and batter was. I've had better. The fries were not cooked long enough as they were soggy. My wife had the Sezchuan Salmon. She liked the fish and the green beans and thought overall it was good. I also saw a fly in the cookie display, should have caught a picture of that.

This shop is located on the E concourse of terminal 1. I stopped by at 5:30am and there was no line at all. The workers were pleasant. I ordered a cherry almond scone, and they asked if I wanted it warm. I said yes. As I ate it, I found that the middle was still cold, though; even more, there was a profound lack of cherries and almonds. I also got a chocolate chip cookie, which the sign said was top rated by the Star Tribune. The cookie was thoroughly excellent, very sweet, with discs of high quality chocolate. So, can’t rec the scone, but the cookie deserves the hype.

I wasn’t expecting to fly today, but a family emergency led to a last-minute flight, and I found myself at MSP this morning. I didn’t have much of an appetite, but I thought I should try to eat something. Angel Food Bakery felt like a quick and delicious option. I was warmly greeted, and the customer service was kind and communicative. I ordered a Greek-style scone, curry puff, and blueberry donut. I appreciated their vegetarian breakfast options and that they thoroughly warmed the two breakfast items. Each item was soft, fresh, and satisfying. I forgot my stress for a brief moment, and I’m grateful to them of that. Thank you.

Jane, is amazing! I ordered a coffee after adding some cream to it, it cooled down a bit. I asked Jane to microwave the coffee cup for me. She couldn’t because she didn’t have one. She went above and beyond to brew me a fresh one for free and gave me a cookie and apologized for the whole thing. I don’t cross path with extraordinary people like Jane, I consider myself lucky to have been in her presence!

The atmosphere and food were great; however, the service was bad. They opened their doors 17 minutes late and did not care there was a line outside their doors. One of the two employees showed up 5 minutes late and continued to play on her cellphone while prepping for opening. When they greeted us, they had poor attitudes and seemed frustrated they had to work.

I got a sprinkle donut and a dark roast coffee, both were spectacular!!! The woman making the donuts was also really friendly and I could tell she made the donuts with love.

This place is so cute! In terminal 1 of the MSP Airport, I expect the higher prices for the food. I got a breakfast sandwich with sausage. The biscuit was perfect-at least to my preference-crispy on the outside, but not too messy to eat as it did not crumble. The dark roast coffee is pretty good-maybe a little too dark. They only have 2 coffee choices-both hot. A light and a dark roast. I would have liked an iced version because this airport is hot. The donuts and other baked goodies looked so yummy. But what tops it off for me was the cheerful employee who was taking orders. Not everyone is that cheerful at 4 in the morning-so I really appreciated his positive, friendly attitude. They do have a cooler with other options like water bottles, canned nitro coffee, sandwiches, and more. I'd recommend trying this place out!

Whether you need to avoid gluten or not, this bakery is AMAZING. But if you are gluten free or celiac and you’re looking for a place where you can finally feel “normal”, this place is your new best friend! The baguettes and bread are absolutely out of this world! They are everything you want from a European style bread! Light and fluffy with a delicious crunchy crust. Toasted or fresh out of the oven, I still have to remind myself that it’s gluten free. We’ve done everything with this bread, from using a baguette to make “pizza bread” to making the most amazing French toast. They have a wide variety of additional treats and desserts too. Food memories are powerfully things. I swear when I first tasted one of their current scones, I almost cried! Their cinnamon rolls will bring you right back to your childhood. And the pastries are amazing, no matter what the flavor of the day is. I’ve been following them since they were a little front porch bakery, and there’s a reason why they have such a following. This is one bakery you don’t want to miss out on!

Walking in off the street I genuinely gasped when I realized *all* the offerings on the menu board were gluten-free -- I'm a newcomer to dietary restrictions (gluten-free/dairy-free) and it's been a tough journey but I love this place and I'm excited to come back again. The staff were really well-informed about food allergies/finding options that met my specific needs, and it's got a great classic neighborhood bakery feel. The muffins are wonderful but the baguettes are really next level good.

Fun first visit here today. About a 15 minute wait with a “take a number” waiting system. The staff was so positive and friendly to everyone who reached the counter. Love that everything here is gluten free and multiple items were also dairy free so my husband could enjoy! I don’t have any diet sensitivities and LOVED the cinnamon roll. Worth a little trip across town for goodies and to support this small business!

By far one of the best gluten free bakeries I’ve ever been to. Their cinnamon rolls can go toe to toe with normal ones and their bread is springy, without being gummy or crumbly.

Totally unpretentious. I had to try a turnover. It was delightfully crispy and light (for a turnover). AND the perfect amount of salt! You would not know everything they offer is gluten free except for very small signs listing their flour mix. I haven’t had a better gf turnover in any major city (including overseas). Bravo!

This bakery is ACTUAL MAGIC. The owner has stumbled upon a GF secret the rest of the world doesn’t have. The lemon curd danish is hands down the best pastry I’ve ever eaten- so flaky, so balanced. I’ve traveled the world and had many years of eating gluten… this beats everything. Bonus: the staff is a bunch of sweethearts. Out-of-Towners, come here to get a true taste of MN! This place represents the best of the food and the people.

This place is absolutely amazing. I’ve tried many local bakeries that are dedicated gluten free and nothing compares to this place. The only downfall is their limited hours for their phenomenal food. Heard about Razava and had to check it out. The vibe is super cool with a boutique feel, staff is really friendly, and the service is great. The food was amazing! I had the SLT sandwich and the sabich, both were delicious. The sourdough and pita were perfect, and the iced latte was the cherry on top. Definitely my new favorite spot in town!

We checked our Razava yesterday morning (a Saturday around 11:45am). Parking was tough given the area — a popular part of Grand Ave with lots of businesses, a one-way street, and lots of no-parking zones on side streets. But once we found a spot we were only pleased! They were out of bagels so we both had our second choice (after the lox bagel): the whitefish toast. The whitefish itself was smoky yet mild, the avocado on top was perfectly ripe, and the house schmear underneath was so tasty! (It seemed to have some herbs and lemon and maybe a little bit of onion or garlic…?) We bought some beef-horseradish schmear to go and enjoyed it on bagels the next day at home. It was somewhat crowded but not too long of a wait for our food. The staff was super friendly. We’ll definitely be back again to try more items off the menu!

Went here with maybe too high of an expectation. We got the Muhammara and the Sabich. The sabich was very good and both my husband and I liked it. However, the flatbread that came with the muhammara was too crispy at the edges and difficult to use as a scoop for the dip, and also seemed a little dry because it was overly toasted/grilled. The Muhammara was good but a little salty for my liking. I like that all their bread are sourdoughs but I think the general food execution could be better.

The shakshuka was sooo flavorful and the pizza crust was incredible! The vibes are excellent. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu.

I love this place. These are possibly the best bagels I've had and the space is beautiful, sunny, and well-run with plenty of seating. Just a plain bagel is delicious. The cookies are original recipes and delicious. I'd love it if they were open Mondays and Tuesdays too, but know people need their days off, especially in a small business!

Update about a month later: I got the pane francese loaf today and it is THE loaf for sandwiches... it's like a ciabatta but chewy and tangy from the sourdough. I made an absolutely life changing sandwich with it. — The NY bagel with the caper shmear was SO good, I can't stop thinking about it and want to get one again tomorrow LOL. Best bagel I've had in the twin cities hands down. It was chewy while still being tender and flavorful. Not too bready or hard like lots of bagels I've had around here. The caper cream cheese was perfectly briney and creamy. I love the San Fran sourdough loaf too!

I dropped in at Razava Bakery yesterday for the first time. Truly a great experience! I was there to pick up some bread and got some sourdough, which is fantastic! Warm and friendly vibe, will be back soon for breakfast!

One of my favorite kitchen gadget stores. My bread thermometer bit the dust, so this trip was needed. Grabbed a Pullman Loaf Pan &Cover. Can’t wait to start baking with it. Friendly service. Lots of great choices!

Gorgeous space to take cooking classes! Friendly, helpful staff and a great cook's store downstairs. I recently took a two-day baking class at Cooks and thoroughly enjoyed it. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything each student needs. Plenty of space to spread out. Convenient location with easy access to downtown Minneapolis. Excellent experience cooking at Cooks!

This is one of the BEST things I've ever eaten... the Mother's Day strawberry croissant !! The crepe cake is amazing, as well, but... whoa! I hope they do this strawberry delicacy on the regular🤩

I stopped in to browse at 6:40. Doors were open. Right on the verge of buying something, the clerk asked me if she could help me find something; I replied that I was just browsing. She asked if I was “with the class”. No, I said. She then informed me that “unfortunately we’re closed”. Grand Avenue is suffering a significant downturn for retail space. Anthropologie went to Rosedale; Pottery Barn closed; J Crew is gone. Just across the street, the entire building is vacant. DO NOT whine to anyone, anymore about how “e-commerce is killing Main Street”. It is this kind of experience that is killing bricks and mortar retail. I won’t go back—and I’m a 30+ year customer.

One of the best bakery’s I’ve found and it’s right around the corner from my place . Went in to get a quick macaroon and was pleasantly surprised how huge it was brought it home and wished I bought 5! Wow and the lady working was very friendly can’t wait to go back here! Grape pb and jelly is the one I got!

Delicious pastries! My favorites are the monkey bread and the seasonal kougin amann. For summer, they had a s'mores one, and it was divine. Also recommend the gluten-free chocolate cookie by the register. 4/6 times I've been there it's been sold out. Pick one up if you're lucky enough to spot it!

This was a pretty cool experience. The scotch was well selected. The story behind it was interesting. The food in general was pretty good, but not overly impressive. The presenters and other staff did a great job. The only negative I had was the location. It's West Grand Ave... Not just Grand Ave. Would definitely recommend for a change of experience.

I ordered a cake for my son’s 20th birthday. First time ordering and first time trying vegan carrot cake. Carrot cake is one of my favorites. This vegan cake didn’t disappoint it’s very tasty. We really love the cream cheese frosting.

This is the best place to get vegan baked goods in the Twin Cities. We love their cupcakes, cakes, lemon loafs, cookies, and cheddar biscuits. I miss their uptown location where we could have broccoli cheese soup and pastrami sandwiches, but this is still great. Today I got a strawberry cupcake with a creme frosting and a strawberry filling and it was one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. I hope they make more of these kind of cupcakes in the future. The only problem we've had with this place is the hours. Recently, I wanted to order a vegan cake for a Tuesday event at my work, but they don't open until noon that day, so I had to get frozen cupcakes instead. Many times we've wanted a cake or cupcakes for a holiday or event and the hours haven't worked for us to pick it up so we end up going to Whole Foods or getting the item many days in advance and having to freeze them, which is never as good as fresh. I get they need a day off, but I still wish there was a way to pick up orders at more convenient days or hours.

Cute lil bakery with amazing cupcakes, cinnamon rolls and desserts! I was visiting from Washington state and stopped in for some yummy treats! I’m so glad I did, Feel like they need to start promoting online orders to ship to people out of state😁 I would definitely be a buyer! The cupcakes were moist and had amazing flavor, but not too sweet. The peanut butter dessert we bought was out of this world good!!!! I was a bit sad that they were closed when I came up with the idea to go get more to take home before our vacation ended. I’ll be back for sure!

I'm not vegan and I don't have any dietary restrictions. I bought my birthday cake here to accommodate dairy intolerant family. It was one of the best cakes I've ever had. Definitely better than most non-vegan cakes. I returned to buy cupcakes for a family gathering and the family members who normally say they aren't into sweets scarfed them down and proceeded to rave about them.

I ordered a cake for my partners birthday. I did not realize the 48 hour call ahead requirement when I placed the order the day before i needed the cake. I showed up the next day and was saddened that it wasn’t ready. However it was my own fault as I did remember seeing the place orders 48 hours in advance. I was prepared to offer an alternative solution but before I got there the worker stated that they can make it for me quickly if I can hang around for about 15 minutes. I said yes that works and was very excited that even though it was my mistake, I was able to get the cake. Wonderful costumer service and/or crisis management. Staff were very kind about the whole ordeal and the cake tasted amazing. Also, their cupcakes are amazing. Great flavor, dietary restriction friendly, and not too sweet.

Partygoers were floored that these cupcakes were egg and dairy free, and some gluten free on top of that! Everyone had wonderful things to say. I had the cookie dough, and it did indeed taste just like a whipped scoop of cookie dough on top! Thanks Vegan East 💚

So my son's bday is approaching and he's allergic to egg I was worried I wouldn't be able to find him a birthday cake that would accommodate to his allergies luckily I found this place and there local for me thank the universe!!! Yay!! Everything is falling into place for his bday!!! 🥳🎂 The big 1!

Definitely a new experience in Minnesota. It was really nice to see the different variety of food and drinks available. The night market was so congested, but the experience and quality of food was worth the disastrous parking and sweaty shoulder to shoulder experience.

I guess I had misguided expectations, but I thought I would experience a bustling SE Asian neighborhood. This isn't it. We went on a midday in late July. There are some restaurants and shops but they are pretty spread out and there isn't a critical mass of community energy. I think the night market is what most of the reviewers are talking about.

Super fun event to round out the 4th of July weekend festivities. Tons of great food, music, and awesome people. Community events like these are what pull us all together.

A must try! One of my coworkers called their chocolate croissants “perfection” and I would have to agree. Everything else I’ve tried is DELICIOUS, both sweet and savory. Check out their website for their walk-up window hours and options for ordering in advance. Support this local business. (One note, the storefront is just a walk-up window; everything is to go—no indoor space or seating)

Loved their Saturday morning farmers market stall! Tasty and creative pie flavors, including sweet corn custard pie and lemon rhubarb pie.

The best pies in all of Minnesota. Truly i've never had a pie crust so flaky and delicious. The pie itself was out of this world!!! A must try!! Their frozen pastry you bake off yourself are definitely worth having on hand

Such a delicious and consistent local family (husband and wife) run bakery! They have amazing puff pastry- croissants and danishes (which I was never into before) and needless to say special rotating pie flavors that they seem to nail every time. Feel like we get spoiled to now have their stuff is in multiple local coffee shops, are at farmers markets and that they have a permanent bakery window in St. Paul! Love when supporting a small local business is this enjoyable.

I thought I had reviewed this place already, but after thoroughly enjoying some of their tasty treats and thinking I should update the review with a, "Yup, still good!", I noticed I hadn't written anything yet. In short, these are some of the best treats you can have. There's nothing better in the morning than a perfect croissant (or a chocolate croissant with a coffee). Everything about them is so good...from the perfect flakiness of the pastry to the quality of the chocolate (it tastes nuanced and alive rather than generic and flat). These are honestly so good that my kids' friends choose the house they want to sleepover at based on whether I have croissants in stock. The staff are always friendly (and thoughtful on delivery). Do yourself a favor and give them a try!

their pain au chocolats (frozen & ready to bake) will now be a household staple. seriously, treat yourself to some wonderfully flaky & buttery pain au chocolats, just as the french envisioned (note these are not the inferior spongy hot-dog-bread-imposters)!

V&G is now a household staple for me! I get their frozen pie crusts at the co-op practically weekly - amazing for quiche. My family also loves the frozen croissants, they come out beautifully every time. We also get their croissant bread for extra special French toast. Everything is really delicious. Plus they deliver, and the service is always great too
