We went to Kingsley yesterday with family while in Bandung. They have a large selection of food and drink to choose from. The staff was courteous and efficient. The atmosphere is pretty basic but it's simple and clean. The food was very tasty across the board for all of us. We had mie bakso, batagor, and es teler. I would recommend if you're in Bandung looking for a good meal.

Finally tried the legendary batagor but turns out it doesnt justify the legend or the price. It tasted different than your regular batagor and it definitely tasted cleaner. But other than that, nothing special. They also only accept cash which is ridiculous, not even bank transfer is accepted as they said all of them currently broken. Definitely dishonest and left a sour taste.

The batagor still good after so many years, cireng bumbu rujak also good and crispy. Also never forget to have durian ice cream in front of the building.

There are also stalls like juice, siomay, cendol and etc which compliment the food area. a place to enjoy the food may be on the side of the road but has a shady area under a big tree.

But let me tell you, that this should be your go-to restaurant on bandung trip esp for families. atmosphere is warm and cozy, a mix of heritage and modern building. Food is surprisingly good, i ordered ikan dori and it came with urap and perkedel jagung. But what i want to highlight is the service. Every staff was extremely friendly. One of the staff even gave additional jelly to a kid customer because he dropped it on the floor. Kudos to all the staff!

Somewhat seeems like not well maintained. I came saturday night and very quiet, only the other 1 table ordering their food. Food is just so so and nothing speciial. Jjust the view and nice weather that we enjoy most. Read in their photos, this reestaurant was since 2011 -- but i think need some renovvation (adding lights) or food menu renewal.

I had an Anniversary Dinner surprise by my boyfriend. He surpised me here and i was satisfied with the services. At first we had our assigned butler who took us to the ‘dinner spot’ and it was in the extensions’s glass spot. It was amazing and i like the decoration although its kinda windy and cold (note for you to bring a coat! HAHA) We had a welcome bread and welcome drink that they took the bar tray to us. From the appetizer to the dessert everything was amazing! Also i wanna thank Mr Rama (if i am not mistaken) to give us the excellent service and have a friendly talk w/ us (cuz we are the only one in the glass extensions spot) HAHA And also they let us request our own songs! So definitely it made our anniversary night memorable. Thankyou 18th restaurant! Keep it up!

I reserved christmas dinner for my parents. Food taste just ok but portion is too small. And i would like to leave review on the unpleasant service, it is because we are being charged for water. They didn't mention anything about the water is not inclusive of the dinner package, and just simply put on the table. Better you are more transparant to your customer!!

The 18th Restaurant has amazing view especially at night. It's a nice place to spend the special night with your special one. The service is great, as well. The foods are classified as fine dining grade. So, they will always ask you how you would like the food to be cooked. Just one suggestion for the restaurant, it will be better if they add some more new menus based on the events.

When the food finally came, it was cold and bland. The rib was overcooked, and the pasta tasted like it had been sitting for a while. The atmosphere, which is supposed to be cozy and relaxing, was ruined by loud other customer that made it hard to talk. The lighting was also too dim, making it uncomfortable to eat. For the price they charge, I expected much better service and food quality. Honestly, there are many better cafés in Bandung with friendlier staff and tastier meals. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they seriously improve their management and food standards.

Superb! 👍🏼 The "Meat Lovers" (thin) pizza was also delicious. You could ask to exclude paprika and onion if you don't want it in your "carnivore" pizza. The zuppa soup was also very delicious. French Fries side dish is also top notch with taste and quantity. Live music and a beautiful view were there and completed the good atmosphere. You and your friends/family could have a very good time and delicious foods here. Been to this eatery a few times and I've to admit that it never fails me. Personally, I have always enjoyed eating their Lotek Matang and Kolek Campur because of their authentic taste, the sauce for lotek taste very different from others no doubt that its also made from peanut. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be kind of like skewered grilled beef, similar to sate but with bigger chunks of meat. It was pretty good the seasoning was flavorful, and the beef was tender. What I loved most though was the potato wedges that came with it. They were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and honestly didn’t even need any sauce. I also got to try my friend’s spaghetti carbonara, and it was really good too. The creaminess was just right, not too heavy, and it had a nice balance of flavor. I paired it with a mixed healthy juice, which was fresh and tasted great. The only downside was the service. The waitstaff were a bit slow and not very responsive. Our food took nearly 40 minutes to arrive, and to make it worse, one of the orders got mixed up. I later checked the reviews on Google, and apparently, quite a few people have had the same experience with the service being slow, so at least it wasn’t just us. The prices are also a bit on the pricey side, but I guess that’s expected since it’s quite a popular spot in the Braga area. Since the beginning, difficult to park the car, and the parking guy only showed up when we were about to leave with no help whatsoever. Then, the ground staff was also not helpful, some of our orders were not served, and even the complimentary drink was just a wishful thought. There is no such no smoking place even indoors, and dont aim to look at the floor - you can find tissue, toothpick, and dead cockroaches. Finally, about the food... it tasted better a long time ago, but now we have to find a scrap of meat underneath the pile of onions and bones. Looking forward for improvement in their services.

A little nice and cosy place for the best oxtail soup in town, confirmed many times by the local and a must try when you are in town. We enjoyed the food very much to our taste and liking, the gado gado and bee hoon Soto is delicious too.

All time favorite! A must try dish! One of the best original cuisine in Bandung. The taste of the broth and the meaty oxtail soup is very comforting. I ordered the soup dish and the fried oxtail dish. The combination is just unmatched. So good and so delicious. Worth the price with no waiting list. But beware, since this restaurant is popular and many customers would come by, the stock is finished very quickly, you can book or come by the resto sooner so that you can get a portion or two to eat. The parking space is quite small, i think only fits up to 5-6 cars and a few motorcycles. So take note before visiting Dapur Dahapati with a huge crowd. The interior is very traditional and the space is quite homey.

Food was absolutely amazing. Comfort food central. Although a very small selection of dishes on the menu but they do everything just right. First time I'm having the dry oxtail. This has been stewed til the meat was almost failing off the bone. Not overly sweet like a lot of indonesian dishes. Chicken is freshly fried. Lightly seasoned. Crispy on the outside and still juicy as you sink your teeth into them. Gado gado's highlight was the creamy smooth peanut sauce.

Went here for dinner after a rainy afternoon, it isn’t crowded. However you need to mind the there is limited parking space. Service here is okay and it didn’t take long for the food to be served. By far this is the best sop buntut (oxtail soup) i have ever tasted. The meat is very-very tender and if you are lucky you might get a huge piece just like i did. The soup is also flavorful and is already a bit sour so you don’t need to add extra lime. Best paired with white rice and it is the best combination after a rainy afternoon. This place has always been a must visit every time i go to bandung from year to year. I highly recommend you to try this if you are visiting bandung! 🙆‍♀️

The gallery is awesome. Not many paintings, but enough for you to enjoy the arts before you eat or while you wait for your food. The lighting and the wall color as background is highligting the paintings. The place is in a higher land, so the weather feels more windy. They use open space area using open doors and glass almost on every side of the cafe's wall, those you can enjoy the scenery. For the food is standard for me. But this place is a good one for the ambiance and for meeting, relaxing, looking for inspirations. The cafe is quite big, so it is also a good place for gatherings and family time. It's like a one stop destination for you to enjoy the gallery, food, the scenery, also a good time by yourself or with your companions.

It's quite okay experience. Limited parking space, though... due to a music concert at that time. A high-steep slove was there to access the building. Be cautious if you or your car is not ready for it. Good art exhibition along with its beautiful and knowledgeable guide lady. The food and drinks in the restaurant are also nice and delicious despite the price being quite high. There was also a music concert that started in the evening, after we left the premise. As no napkin, at least a big tissue should be available. No Tabasco sauce was available as well. There's an incident when the steak which we ordered was overcooked, thus it became inedible, whilst we ordered it with medium-well. We report it to the waiter nicely, and they apologized in well mannered, replacing it with a new steak soon. They might be in a load condition, as there was a music concert ongoing and they might need to serve a lot of food to the committee. However, the chefs need to keep their food in top notch quality due to its high price. They also served an ice cream besides applying a small discount as a token of apology.

I'm actually surprised Bandung are much more friendlier towards people who eat non halal food aka pork. This place is loaded with stalls selling pork and lard based dishes. Seller can be a bit pushy and annoying sometimes though. For the taste I find it average, it's the Chinese Sundanese fusion style so definitely a bit on the sweeter side. The kuotie has a crispy skin but dry on the inside. Roasted pork fried rice has the wok Hei but lacked on flavor. Claypot rice was wonderful with its faan ziu or scorched rice on the bottom. Drinks are normal but there are beer stalls, surprise surprise. Airy and expect no breeze unless you're seated on the other end. Oh and it's pretty pricey for street food so prepare yourself.

Its a covered street so don worry about rain. Food options are plentiful from rice to noodles. Mostly chinese styled cooking. There are shops selling alcohol here as well.

Great variety of food and many of them was influenced by Chinese food due to the local with chinese heritage. People are very friendly however i find the food here quite pricey. Fun way to have a nighttime food adventure in Bandung! My family and I loved trying out different dishes and sharing amongst us. There are dishes ranging from bakmie, kuotie, suikau, ronde jahe, pisang and roti bakar, and so much more! There’s semi-indoor and outdoor seating. And the nighttime weather accommodates it pretty well. Not too hot. We will always come back for more when we visit Bandung.

Place is HUGE! Good for groups eat out. They have a restaurant, as well as a cafe. The cafe is just small area at the front though. I did not try that. It is like warung style where you choose what you want to eat based on what they display there. Most of the food is ready to serve, so for quick eating, it will be a good option. They have variety of indonesian food, from ayam bakar, ikan bakar, tahu tauco, to gado gado and many other things. Price is normal, for example the chicken is 24k, nila bakar is 60k, some others vary from like 8k. The place has no AC, because it is all semi outdoor but smoking is not allowed. There are some cats around. Parking lot is okay, but not as huge as the restaurant. PRO TIP: Their takeaway price is double than dine in (for each meal, not additional packaging cost). Bring your own containers, order for dine in, then you pack the food yourself to your own container!

First time went to Cafe Bali in Bandung. The service was fast, the workers were friendly, the restaurant manager ( wearing black shirt , black pants ) also very very friendly and helpful with the menus. Even the Bapak parkir very friendly :) Good food. We enjoyed it, and the price is fair for what you got. The Sop Buntut Bakar, probably can give a bit more meat more :) And too bad so many cats goes inside the restaurant, maybe you can do something about it . Thank you for the good service. Def will recommend it to family's and friends when they visit Bandung.

We were looking for a proper breakfast place and they offer a good range of sides selections. Place is clean. Affordable. I had gado gado and tea for 2 pax the bill came less than 100k.

Most of the foods I ordered tasted a bit too sweet to my liking despite the fact it’s a savory meal (especially the ramen, triangle sushi, and ravioli). Great view and atmosphere but their musalla to pray is not well kept and dirty, so quite a shame for a cafe that highlights a beautiful view as their primary selling points.

Absolute must visit if you are in Dago. We took grab to this place. It was around 20mins from where we stayed. Easily order a grab away too around 10 plus when we decided to leave. We had the Salmon special, chicken karage, wagyu ribeye steak 🥩, we request the kitchen to make us thin crust meat lovers pizza. Portions was large 👍 food arrived hot and freshly made. Nothing to complain about. Only complain we had was my partners mocktail wasn’t stirred when served all the syrup was stuck at the bottom which made it difficult to drink. Service crew were accommodating and help every request we made. Extremely hospitable The live band was lit 🔥 they even accepted few of our requested favourite songs. They have a Bose Sound System which sounded great. The food are reasonable and the night view and chilly weather makes it for me. They have 2 person tables for dates which are in a dimly lit area romantic style. And large seating area which can accommodate up to 20 people at once. We saw an enormous family came and celebrated their birthday with close to 30 members

Ambient was good with live music and nice view of the city from the cool hill side. It’s hard to get to the place through small passage way with lots of motorbikes.. Food was okay. Ordered medium well steaks - a bit too bland, cold when arrived but not too chewy- very small portion of salads- drinks were varieties and desserts was nice. There’s rooftop for photo session in a cool air. Will thin twice if I want to go back again..

Finding somewhere to eat around the area in dago. I think we chose the right place to enjoy our night. We went there around 6pm there were quite a queue 12ppl before us. There 3 floor. All of the guests wanting to have 3rd floor just because they have view and live music also. Good vibes. The top floor they have roof top for picturing with so many good nice spots for picture (so instagramable) 😄 Food were nice not bad. They also have different kind of drinks. We ordered pasta, pizza and iga bakar. Nice choice. I love the almond latte also. Good place for relax and enjoy the night.

A great semi-fine dining restaurant at the hills of Bandung. It has a great sky view that's really eye-catching. It also has a rooftop with photogenic spots with thegreat sky view as a background. As for the foods, they all taste great, even though it's on the pricier side, but worth the try! The drinks tasted standard. Overall,highly recommend to try!

Arrive around 12 when its lunch time and it was packed, all servers are busy, we have no clue what to do. Seeing people taking out menu and we follow. We came to cashier, and they asked which table?as we havent got table yet, he tell me to get table first, eat then pay. The hunt for empty table is starting!! We look up, down, front, back and there is no empty table. Plenty customers coming in, and its getting hard to find table. This is MADNESS!! they dont have a system, its purely luck or you could wait next to a table and tell the one eating that you are waiting them, so hurry up! I've waited foe 30mins standing and waiting. More effective than looking. Finally i got a table, its shared. The food coming in fast, drinks in a cup, fried chicked and everything is only 10mins away. It does tasted good. All in all, this is my first and last time here. They should have better queuing system.

Warung Bu Imas is a really popular spot in Bandung, so we decided to check it out. We arrived around 11 AM, which was a good call because it wasn't packed yet. The place has a lively, casual vibe, and it’s pretty cool seeing all the different dishes laid out. We grabbed a few things that looked good to try out. We ordered the Ayam Bakar, Sayur Asem, and Tahu Goreng. Honestly, for how famous and busy this place gets, I felt the food was just okay. The Ayam Bakar tasted like a pretty standard grilled chicken you could find anywhere else—nothing that made it stand out. The sambal was spicy, but it didn't have any unique flavor that made it special. The Sayur Asem was also a bit of a letdown for me. It wasn't very sour anymore and actually tasted a little sweet, which was a bit strange for a dish that's supposed to be tangy. While the food wasn't bad, I don't know if I'd say it's worth the potential long wait and the slightly higher-than-average prices. It was a decent meal, but not exactly what I was hoping for.

It was jam packed but guy outside was still letting people go inside despite there was no table available, they should make sure there’s table available before people letting go inside. It was so distressing experience waiting for table while inside. They got small toilet area for such big restaurant. Food arrived quickly after ordering but was below average taste. Food was average, sambal was not good at all. Never visit this place on weekends.

I’ve heard so many good things about Bu Imas, so I finally gave it a try. To be honest, I feel like it’s a bit overrated. Here’s why: 1) There’s a queue even though they’ve renovated and expanded. I still ended up eating in the older building, which wasn’t very clean when I sat down. 2) The fried chicken tasted just like other places — nothing particularly special. 3)Their sambal is very spicy — if you love heat, you might enjoy it. 4) The real highlight for me was the jukut goreng — super tasty and unique!⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall, it’s affordable and I’d probably order again, but next time I’ll go through Grab/Gojek instead of dining in.

Everytime I go to Bandung, I always come here for lunch, cause of their taste Sundanese and the price also reasonable. They have variety of Sundanese food like pepes, sambal dadak, ayam ikan goreng. Their sambal dadak is favorite. But for the place always full of people even they have 3 floors. We have to waiting in a lunch time. And the area also hot cause there's no ac.

Super packed Sundanese Restaurant Tastes is good. Price is middle, not the very expensive one. They have 3 stores in one street. I visit the least crowded one which is the 3rd restaurant on the right side of the street, and it has 2 floors. Food tastes is good overall. Service is good but slow, especially during high traffic. Place is not very clean, quite cramped actually. Queue for payment is also long at the cashier. The restaurant is highly visited. Avoid visiting at lunch time. Overall good.

The best ronde in Indonesia that you should definitely try when you go to @Bandung! Their ronde is just so perfect, nice and chewy. The service is great and fast. They served my order pretty quick, but the place has limited seat, so you might need to grab a spot first. Many people say that the price is quite expensive, however with the ronde quality, i think that it’s worth the money. I like the “gula putih” better than the “gula merah”.

As this is a famous food stall in Cibadak night culinary, you have to expect longer time & queue for both dine-in or takeaway, up to 15-20 min on busy long weekend with Jakarta tourusts flocking to try this out. The ronde is very good - soft enough and not too soft. Go for large ones with peanut fillings. The sweet ginger soup/gravy is also perfect. I prefer dark sugar mix than white sugar, as it gives more fragrance to the soup. Even though a bit pricey but worth the price.

The ronde is freshly made and the variation with the peanut inside is satisfying as they give a lot peanut. The jahe soup is also great, not too hot. The place only provide few tables, but we can eat in neighbour place too. The seller is friendly but the queue line is not clear.

You can also ask what ronde you want, the big one is the one with the nuts, and the small one is the empty one. Some people who don’t like nuts can ask the ronde with just the small one. But I like nuts, and I prefer to buy a ronde with just a big one. There’s lots of nuts in the big one, and it’s so delicious. You can add up the ginger yourself, so you can determine how ‘spicy’ you want it to be.

Direct contender of Bubur Ayam Zaenal. Bubur Ayam H. Amid easily managed to rank as the best three chicken porridge I've ever eaten. The location is easy to find and located near Bandung Railway Station. The place is not too comfortable because it is located alongside the crowded streets but all of that can be covered with the quality of its porridge and sprinkled with a lot ofchicken shredded (ayam suwir heheh). the price is worth it to the quality of the slurry served. Here, you can take the crackers at will.

Absolutely best sate in Bandung! It's a must visit! A small little street stall, if you will, that's always busy. Expect the wait time to be at least forty-five minutes on the weekends, but believe me, it'll be worth the wait. Ten skewers per order with the options of chicken, beef, beef fat or mixed. Lontong, rice cakes can also be added to each order. All orders topped with peanut sauce that's not overpowering. I usually don't like peanut sauce poured on top of my food but here, I can tolerate it well. Super cheap too! A little less than $2 per order. There's nothing more to say besides it being a MUST TRY.

Tried their sate Ayam, jando and Sapi with peanut sauce and without sauce too. Owner is super nice, they sold out Sate Sapi but he got it back from their house within 20 minutes and start selling it. Sate jando and Sapi is bestseller here. Less chairs to sit. Could be queue on weekends. Sate could sold out earlier than expected.

Definitely worth the wait. We must wait in line for about 20 min to get this sweet tasty satay (meat and fat), but i appreciate the seller who was very active and fast to serve customers. They prepare the food long before it gets crowded so when it's our turn, we just say what we want, they prepare satay in wrap, we pay, and then just like that (quite fast). I hope they get a proper place to sell not in the street. Will be my destination if we go back to this city. Thank you

If you like fat meat, you will love Jando✨ Located at Cilaki Street and open at 8AM on weekdays, Sate Jando Cilaki is one of my friend wishlist. She loves fat meat very much. 1 portion of Sate Jando + Lontong cost 25K IDR. You'll bet it's all fatty meat. The experience is good but you need to make sure you're hungry because it will takes a second to fed up with all those oily fat meat. I will go back here when I'm in Bandung‼️
