It is a must visit restaurant if you like to taste authentic Lithuania as well as local foods in a mediaeval style decorated place. The restaurant is situated in old town of the city and has various seating options. The underground floors are very amazing as they are designed like you are sitting and eating in back to many years. It has different types of drinks, foods, soups, and obviously outstanding Dumplings. Beer tasting was a good idea if you love beer. Everything we ordered was very delicious and mouthwatering to taste them. People are friendly to manage a seat for the guests and always very welcoming to suggest menus. It is better to make a reservation if you have a large group or enough time beforehand.

You might find a queue, so be prepared. The ambience was nice. The good part it is open till late night. We tried the beetroot soup which was amazing. The food was really delicious. Sometimes you need to be careful as the staff doesn’t pay attention to people who have come first, as there were three people who were after us in queue but went before to take a table.

A traditional place for classic Lithuanian cuisine. Considering the restaurant’s huge popularity, the interior and furniture feel a bit worn and only moderately clean. The food is tasty, although the mushroom soup had a richer porcini flavor last summer. Cepelinai, as always, are excellent. The only thing missing is better ventilation — the air can feel a bit stuffy inside. Overall, a good place to visit.

We read so many wonderful reviews about this chain of restaurants and we came with an appetite. The service was super. Our waitress tonight was welcoming and kind. The location is great and we snagged an outside table. We started with delicious Lithuanian mead. But, maybe it was an off night for the cooks as the food was okay; chiefly, apart from the soup (which was meant to be cold) the rest of our meals were also cold-I realise the salads aren't hot, but the meat, potatoes and dumplings should be and this took away from the flavour.

The food was really good. That mushroom soup is recommended. Their waitar was a really nice and helpful guy. Their waitress was stone-faced when I came in and asked for a table. It is not only food, but atmosphere and how you are treated/welcomed are important, too.

Everything was delicious. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Our waitress was the epitome of tact and attentiveness. There was no mobile reception at all in the basement where our table was located. Perhaps that was for the best ;)

Our international group of 10 from 5 countries enjoyed a fantastic dinner with typical Lithuanian food and beverage. The decor is clean with native ambiance and cool bottles, even the small spot selling chocolates and local products adds to the ambiance several smaller dining areas contributes to the ambiance. One small two top table is a separate nook for a romantic setting. We ordered several glasses of wine and local beer. Our starters included mushroom vegetable soup with oil swirl and crayfish soup with pumpkin oil swirl. Several items noted the history of the items for added pizazz. For mains, several of us chose the catfish with delicious nut crust and potato puree with spinach swirl. The pork was light and tender and the juicy duck dish was prepared with excellence. The side used as a main was the huge salad with beef with bilberry dressing. All foods showed excellent presentation. For dessert, we tried a chocolate raspberry layered parfait and some chose a dessert drink. Excellent food. Impeccable service. Incredible local flair. Menu book with white pages and dark letters and a fancy font. Free WiFi Noise increased as the number of patrons increased with sift 1970s music. Accessible entry. Visited in Sep 2025 Lokys is one of the most popular Lithuanian restaurants in Vilnius Old Town, with almost every local we spoke to recommending a visit to this restaurant if we wanted to have Lithuanian cuisine. We visited the restaurant for lunch. We didn’t have a reservation but were able to find a table easily. The menu is quite big comprising multiple local/traditional Lithuanian dishes. Ended up ordering the Lokys Regale which is a dish of assorted game meat (boar, beaver, sausage). The meat portions were good enough to share among 2 pax. Would definitely recommend ordering this dish as it is a nice way to try multiple meats made as per local preparation techniques in one dish. For dessert, ordered the “Traditional Apple Cheese” which was excellent. Also tried a couple of local beers which were good too. Overall, I can see why multiple people recommended visiting this restaurant to try the local delicacies. I enjoyed my meal here, and would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant for those visiting Vilnius and looking for a good place to try Lithuanian cuisine.

Cool cultural experience with well prepared food. We Sat on the patio which has a beer garden vibe. Tried a local lager with the wine snacks. The wine snacks came with four cheeses and four salamis. The cheeses were all local including a smoked cheese, a Parmesan like cheese and a soft brie like cheese with a musty taste from the white mold. My favorite is a black ash cheese. There were four salamis of beaver and elk. All were pretty decent. Bread with beet humus was also tasty. I tried the beaver. It was well prepared but a very gamey flavor. It was a stew with mashed potatoes. It was a great spot to try something different. The service was excellent and I loved the menu. Lots of interesting facts.

What a lovely restaurant. Traditional Lithuanian dishes with historic context. The ambient of the restaurent was very pleasant. A few couples were dining and music was in the background but not too loud. Mushroom soup was superb. One of the best I ever had. The wild boar was excellent. There was nothing left on my plates. I also had a local lager and local mead. Both were very good. For 60 euros it was worth every cent

This is a lovely place serving traditional Lithuanian food in a traditional location. The cellar filled with separate dining rooms dates back to the 1500’s. We felt the food was prepared to perfection and our service was top notch. It is a Michelin recommended restaurant so it’s wise to make reservations in advance.

We arrived there with little hope of finding a table on Saturday night without reservation. A woman kindly assisted us at the door and after quickly checking with colleagues lead us inside, to what looked as a secret passage to go downstairs (there is also a ground floor for people with difficulties). We got this very nice table on a room all for ourselves. The service was the Baltic way, not much smiling but helpful and professional. We got the wine plate for one person and it was more than enough for two. It consists of four types of charcuterie. What we did not expect is for it to be all from wild animals. Being it a hunters’ restaurant, it makes sense, it could have however been stated. For example, there was salami of beaver, and we were not willing to try it (this is very personal but if you want to try it and do not want to order the stew the platter is a very good option). The plate was accompanied with typical cheeses and rye bread and crackers with fennel seeds. I got the wild pig tartare and it was small, but very nice. My wife rather got the pig and very much liked it too, it was very juicy. As a dessert we got the apple cheese. We definitely didn’t expect it like that, but it was very good. Somehow in my head I expected a cake, but it was literally sliced apple with pine confit and some ricotta. A very small portion for nine euros, but something you would probably not find somewhere else. Credit to the menu which explained some things about Lithuanian cuisine and culture and was very interesting.

Very attentive staff, great medieval style menu. The food was very well prepared, something more unique to try was the nettle wine, which was really tasty. Areas in the terrace as well as inside are clean and pleasant. Would come here again!

Food was authentic with really nice atmosphere. You’re inside a wooden building with lots of people side by side. Like in good old days. Got the hering under a blanket, hering and potatoes and pork sausage + all 3 types of beers (all were great, the honey one needs to get use to). For sure a place to visit. Went there without a reservation in the evening, but after approx 10-15 min of waiting got a nice table.

Late Post (8/12): First Lithuanian food on the first day I arrived. The food was so exquisite - traditional food always is the best to your taste buds. The service were highly appreciated. Vladimir did an incredible and patiently describing it to me how the Cepelinai made. And everyone were smiling and welcoming personality. However, I came back for the second time. I sat down on the outdoor corner. I had again the Cepelinai and lamb were incredible delicious- AUTHENTIC FOOD.

Well, the food was good however the service was poor. From the moment I walked in it seemed like I wasnt welcome there. The server rolled his eyes at me when I failed to understand his joke. When dining, I usually enjoy 6 or 7 glasses of good wine with my meal, however, the only time I saw a waiter was when my food arrived (my first glass of wine arrived with my first meal, my starter). At no point did anyone come over and ask if my food was ok, or to offer to top my wine up. I found my bill to be quite reasonable at a meagre €42 for a starter, main and single glass of wine. There is a restaurant in Krakow in Poland I fly to simply because the food and service are so good - my bill there is usually €130 / €140, however, Senoji, I wouldnt return back to. I hope dinner in Germany tomorrow night is more successful.

This place is awesome! The building exudes old world charm, both inside and out. The service is attentive, food delicious and prepared with love. We took a large group here and everyone was happy! Yuri even arranged for local musicians to perform for us. A wonderful and authentic Lithuanian dining experience.

It was my last day in Lithuania and decided to go this restaurant to try some traditional food. The staff was friendly, there were a few language barriers tho. The food was also really good! As I wanted to try some local Schnapps and couldn't really decide, I was nicely given two 2cl instead of one 4cl. If I come to Vilnius again, I will definitely eat there again.

Best authentic Lithuanian food that we had during this trip. The food is so home made and tasty. The garlic bread with cheese dipping is divine, also the salads and soups were very tasty. The service was perfect, they were very friendly and helpful! The ambient is also very nice, the outside area is beautiful!

Sat here for a few solo beers on a Monday night and read my book. Was really busy, nice atmosphere. Lots of beers and local food. Had the fried garlic bread and beetroot soup, both were amazing. Came recommended by our tour guide. The dark lager was 10/10! Reasonably priced too

We very much enjoyed this place that was recommended by our local guide, although on that day they did not have the 2 dishes we came to try. We tried many local delicacies, which are all fried and quite "heavy", yet tasteful. It's a self service bar with relatively friendly staff. It's worth a visit.

Authentic Lithuanian pub with a bit of a hipster vibe. We stopped by for a midday beer and a quick bite, and ended up having one of the best pink soups we tried in Vilnius. Super relaxed atmosphere — perfect for a casual stop.

Great service, must've been less than 5 minutes after ordering our food was at the table, the beetroot soup was much nicer than I would've expected. The cepelinai was good also, but a little oily for my taste. Good atmosphere and live sports also.

Great pub. Definitely recommend going here to get a taste of the local food without much of the touristy flair that other places in the old town have. The prices were pretty decent and the portions good. The staff were helpful and they have excellent cider too. Must visit!

What a fabulous restaurant with such a great vibe! I was warmly welcomed by a lovely woman (who was also my waitress), and since it wasn’t crowded, she let me choose my seat. She was wonderfully conversational — just the right amount - chatting not only about the menu but also engaging in a friendly, genuine way. I love when restaurants make you feel truly welcomed. There was also a tall gentleman working alongside her, and together they went above and beyond - sharing bits of local history, offering thoughtful recommendations, and helping this tourist. The food? Absolutely authentic and excellent. I ordered the lamb biryani, and wow—chef’s kiss! The chefs are from India, too! Thank you for the wonderul team here!

I came here with my family for a birthday celebration and it left quite an impression on us!:) There was a wide variety of appetizers, so we ordered plenty, and every single one impressed us. The main dishes were full of flavor and absolutely delicious. The service was very friendly, warm and attentive. I definitely recommend this place!

We had set lunch menu. The food was tasty however it look too long for the food to be served. Also, the mushrooms in the soup were spoiled. When we mentioned to the waitress she did mention it to chef, however didn't comeback to replace it. We had to insist on it being replaced without mushroom. Though the food was good the service was pathetic. Replying to owners comment below. Please check the CCTV footage again. We were inside the restaurant before 3 PM and we did mention to the waitress if we can still have the set menu and she said yes. The waitress you checked might be the one who finished her duty before 3 PM and new one started just before 3 PM. Check the CCTV again and see how much time it took for a REPLACEMENT. As I mentioned earlier the waitress came back and we asked her what we are suppose to do with the soup. For which she replied, what do you want me to do? I believe MUSHROOM were spoilt due to HOT weather? The new soup was without mushroom. Make sure you keep them in a freezer if the weather is too hot. I'm happy that you replied and yes the food was delicious. The mango lassi, naan was good. Just the timing. The soup was served first then the naans. There was no curry to go with the naan, so we had to eat them as is. As they went cold before the manchurian, rice was served. Again the salad served was not fresh. May be due to HOT weather? Thanks for keeping the take away food on our request.I will definitely visit again and I sincerely hope you would have improved on your service.

Great food! Loved the mango chicken. Beautiful plates, small bowls and decoration. It just fits! Very friendly staff. Next time I will order "2 chilli" spiciness, 1 was a litten tame for my taste. Great place, full recommendation.

Not as good as I remembered. I came to the other location in 2022 and it was exceptionally good, one of the best vegan places in northern Europe. I've been looking forward to coming back for years now. But it wasn't great. They didn't have everything on the menu. It took over 30 minutes for the food to come out (and I ordered the daily special). The veggie burger tasted like something I might have made in the 90s. The other food was pretty good though!

One of the best if not the best vegan restaurant in n Vilnius/Lithuania. Every time I come to the city I like to go there and eat delicious vegan foods. They have local dishes like pink soup, delicious salads and Buddha bowls and different types of burgers. All 100% vegan and delicious. The margarita is also something I like to recommend.

Nice cozy spot to eat at. It’s quiet and peaceful. Was hoping to get some ramen but was told it’s only served during winter time! Very disappointed. Tired a few other options and was delighted with the flavors. Would go again to try their other dishes. Prices are a bit high on some items.

Amazing vegan place 🤤 Me and my boyfriend had Ceaser salad, nachos, barbeque burger, tofu burger, salted caramel tart and brownie with peanut butter and vanilla ice cream. All of the dishes were super delicious. Also the place is quite inexpensive comparing to other vegan places I've been to. We are definitely coming again during our stay in Vilnius

I was staying right around the corner for a work trip and so ate here multiple times. All the food is delicious and the service is amazing as well. I ordered takeout a couple times and it was always fulfilled very quickly. Definitely recommend the Caesar salad is one of the best vegan caesars I have ever had. I had just hoped to get brunch at some point but I guess it is likely only on the weekend.

So the food was really good and authentic but pretty pricey although the portions were pretty big. The waitress was pretty unpleasant with us paying by cash but there was no problem with modifying the ingredients. And I totally recommend lemonades. The music they played was good tho ngl

Delicious vegan good. Sooo good I had to visit twice - would highly recommend to anyone visiting Vilnius. On my first visit I had the mango passion fruit margarita which was glorious with the bao bun and some potatoes with tasty beetroot ketchup. For my second visit I had the kimchi fries which were banging with the marinated tofu bowl - I probably wouldn’t get the bowl again as I think there are better options on the menu but couldn’t fault anything. Highlights for me the potato’s and the kimchi fries. Lots of Inside and outside seating, cool decor and really friendly staff. Definitely one to try if you’re a visiting vegan 🌱

Yesterday, Me and my family went to Etno Dvaras first as it was most recommended for Lithuanian traditional food. We were not very happy with the menu and decided to move to Bernelių Užeiga as we went there the day before in Kaunas. The menu has many more choices and way better prices, they also have a special menu available which I chose from - boiled potatoes with chanterelles in cream sauce. It was delicious and very fresh. I asked the waiter if it was enough for one person (which I still think it is !) but I said that if I was given on zeppelin I wouldn’t say no - and he brought me one for half a price of a portion ! My brother ordered a beer side as his main meal and it was huge! We all shared as a starter. My mum had a chicken Kiev - also very delicious with mushrooms. My dad had a delicious looking pork neck with sauces. A little bit of waiting time (around 49mins) as a big tourist group came right with us but we were told about it in advance and had a beer and the beer side dish to enjoy as we waited. I found out they have a restaurant in London and will definitely go there if I’m around. Such a great place and staff. Thank you! ❤️

A fantastic restaurant to get local dishes in Vilnius with fantastic atmosphere. The foods are really delicious especially the Beetroot cold soup. It is one of the best Beetroot soups I have ever tried. The shrimp menu was also fabulous to enjoy. The Turkey meatballs were very soft and tender with nice gravy which we liked very much. We got seats without waiting and employees were very hospitable in their service. Price is very reasonable compared to the foods quality and service.

We ate here last night. Beautiful cave design inside. Our salmon dish was very good. But the beef tenderloin was far from what we're used to in USA. We had to return it and they gave us a pork dish. It was okay. They had everything working well except the meat quality. We expected high quality meat from a restaurant that look like very upscale.

Popular place with locals to enjoy authentic local food. Service is so so, waitresse doesn't seem to focus on lone customer. They mistake m'y order, served soup rather than dumpling. The Kaunas steak with cheese was a curiosity but not a must. Live music from 8h30pm friday night and charge you + 5€. At the end waitresse remind you to add 10% on top for service. At the end 40€ for a soup / main Dish + 1 small beer, not that cheap

A very special Lithuanian restaurant, the place is very nicely decorated, the waiters are dressed very nicely and the music is nice too. The food arrived hot and delicious. Highly recommended

We came to this place to try traditional lithuanian dishes. We entered the garden and stood next to the table with the menu - the waitress passed us several times without any signs of interest. It was early evening and there were free tables. We decided to go inside - there we met a waiter who asked us where we wanted to sit - inside or in the garden - we chose the garden and were shown to a table. After ten minutes waitress - the same that earlier missed us - came to take our order: handmade pork stuffed ravioli served with mushroom sauce - according to the waitress, these are traditional Lithuanian dumplings - koldūnai; grated potato dumplings stuffed with minced meat served with sour cream, fries onions and bacon - according to the waitress, these are traditional Lithuanian cepelinai. To drink we decided on local beer. Food came after 30 minutes - ravioli was nice, meat was well seasoned, the dough was ok and only the mushroom sauce was weak - three pieces of mushroom is very bad. Potato dumpling were ok - meat was well seasoned but potato mass was bit too hard. Beer was good - unfiltered, darker in color, pleasant in taste with low bitterness. Overall place is really nice, food is tasty and the weaker part was waitress - no smile, no interest, no information on how long you will have to wait for the food...

First time in Lithuania and had such an amazing experience. Valclovas was our server and we had the best ever deep fried garlic bread paired with a beer and a mead drink. Would def recommend not just for the food, but for Valclovas’ kind service! :)

2nd visit here. Now inside and outside. Service has been good both times. (First time I saw a bottle of wine opened correctly in 1 year living here) so that’s nice. Outside isn’t a great space. The covers over the windows are a disgrace to be honest and should be replaced or cleaned. Food is high quality and you can see that the chef has really thought through the dishes. We had lamb and fish and desert was beetroot ice cream (fantastic) and chocolate tart of some description. All meals were high quality and I believe worth the money. Wine, again and this is not the first restaurant in Vilnius, the wine is crazy price. 55 euro for a Chablis and 49 for Marlborough estate is frankly robbery. I’d give a solid 8.5/10 for the food but overall for the outside space and wine prices 8.1/10

Very delicious! I am a tourist and saw this restaurant on the tourism Vilnius website. I ordered the €40 set menu. I like the main particularly, the beef is excellent! Dessert also good:) Totally recommended.

Very unique, fancy, vintage little restaurant in the Old Town. The vibe is very 19th century and has a traditional Lithuanian food. We ordered couple of things to try and everything was exceptional. Highly recommend to try!

This place, nicely situated, has its own rules. As soon as you enter, the administrator asks you to take off your jacket and scarf. Then you are seated. I waited 10 minutes till the waiter came to take my order and she didn't react on me even when I was literally staring at her to come. When the order was taken I asked to leave the menu on the table so that i can decide about dessert later, but the waiter just took it away immediately. I guess the level of English is not so good. Then it was the time of appetizer. I got mushroom pâtée with local bread. It was pretty good. For the main dish I took pike perch fillet. The dish itself was pretty tasty, but not worth the price, as it's rather belgian prices than Lithuanian for such a serving. And I got out still hungry. In general 4 out of 5. It can be a good choice if neighbour restaurants are all full. Atmosphere is amazing though, very cozy. Attaching the menu as for 28/01/2023

I recommend this place to all the people who are interested in lithuanian cuisine. The food is very delicious. The aesthetics of portions looks tremendous. The interior creates a XIX century feeling that makes the meal even more joyful. Also the staff are friendly and suggest delightful choices. I would definitely visit “Mykolo 4” again.

This place was just all over the place. Service was pretty bad. Restaurant was hot and stuffy. Beer soup was super salty. Sold out of all the dumplings. Chicken dish had frozen carrots and green beans… automatic fail. Potatoes with mushroom was like slime and potatoes under seasoned. I’m a foodie but 100% skip this place. Quality is way off :[

I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend, and we had a truly wonderful experience. We ordered a pork shank and a big Zeppelin, and both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive and friendly.

I had a 7-course dinner with a special drink paired with each dish. To be honest, by the end of the meal, I felt a bit overwhelmed by the variety of flavors. Interestingly, the most delicious items were the chef’s compliments – the bread at the beginning and the chocolate at the end. There were also many legends and stories behind the courses, but they felt somewhat artificial and, to be honest, a bit too much. Overall, though, it was a great experience for my first day in Vilnius.

Visited in Sep 2025 Ertlio Namas is a Michelin guide restaurant located very conveniently in Vilnius Old Town (beside Vilnius University). The restaurant offers a fine dining experience with courses inspired from Lithuanian cuisine dating back to the 16th & 17th century. There were 2 tasting menus (7 course and 9 course) and I went with the 9 course meal. For €70++, I think the 9 course meal was an excellent value of money fine-dining experience. All the different courses are inspired from traditional dishes of different eras, with each dish being accompanied by an explanation of its historical origins, providing a unique educational component to the dining experience. The flavors were excellent and the presentation of the courses was also exquisite. Service was fantastic. I was mostly served by a person named Gytis, who was an excellent restaurant staff. He passionately and patiently explained the inspiration behind each course and how the dish represents the ethos of Lithuanian cuisine. Overall, this was a very memorable meal and I would 100% recommend a dinner at Ertlio Namas if you’re in Vilnius.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had! The service was outstanding, and our waiter Evelina was so professional and passionate about her job. We had a 9-course meal, and I definitely suggest coming very hungry — by the 4th course I was already quite full. We celebrated a birthday, and Evelina arranged a dessert with a candle. It was such an amazing touch to end the evening. This restaurant is worth every single euro spent — from the service to the food quality, everything was incredibly high standard. I’m happy to have such gems in Vilnius.

We had a table reservation for Saturday 4.10 at 20:00 for six people. The food and drink compatibility was 5/5 but that's where it all ended. We wanted a bottle of champagne (90€). We found half a bottle of that champagne which the waiter poured for us. The bill charged 96€ for this half bottle ?? we finally negotiated a price of 90€. While fixing the dishes the waiter dropped a knife on my blouse but didn't react in any way. We took a wine package but everyone was poured a different amount of wine which we immediately gave feedback about which was ignored. We told all this to the manager who finally came to ask how the evening went. All in all the whole evening and good food was ruined by bad customer service. I would have sent feedback directly to the restaurant as well but they don't have an email address. I don't recommend the restaurant in question. The waiter did his job without listening to the customer at all.

For us Ertlio Namas is the best restaurant in Vilnius. The service is very friendly, professional and accommodating. Thanks to Gustas who made our evening perfect. The menu and the wine pairing are creative, local and very special. You will get to know interesting facts about history and learn storys concerning the menu. The preparation and design of the food were excellent. In the wine pairing they even offered a Lithuanian blueberry wine which was really good. We cannot say which were our favourite courses because the menu was just perfect. Thank you very much!

The pizza was very tasty, with a perfect dough and an authentic flavor. The drinks were also good. The place had a calm vibe, and there were good vegetarian options to choose from , great value for the price. You can enjoy a good meal at an affordable cost.

Casa La Familia is definitely one of the best pizzerias in Vilnius! The pizza here is absolutely delicious, thin, crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and a perfect balance of flavors. The most kid-friendly restaurant I have ever seen, like a small paradise for children. Nice and cozy atmosphere, helpful staff. The menu is vegetarian but offers many tasty options. We had Daržo pizza, humus and falafel and a little local accent - a tasty, sourish quince tea. The toilet is equipped with a diaper-changing table and a small water-closet.

This is pathetic, pizza dough not even to be found in the middle. We are so disappointed. Definitely worst experience.

We’re locals and have walked past this pizzeria countless times without ever thinking to go in. Today, we were on a tight schedule and our original restaurant was full, so we decided to give it a try — and wow, what an amazing surprise! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the hospitality and good mood seem to be part of their DNA. The pizzas were absolutely delicious — perfectly baked and full of flavor. Visited in Sep 2025 Dziaugsmas is one of the 4 Michelin star restaurants in Vilnius (as of Sep 2025) and definitely the most popular among the 4. Therefore made this place as a dinner stop during my recent trip to Vilnius. I made a last minute reservation and was very lucky to get a table on the same day I called them. The tasting menu comprised around 10 courses (including the amuse bouche and petit four courses). There is an alcoholic and a non-alcoholic pairing for you to choose from. I chose the non-alcoholic pairing. From a food perspective, the starter courses were excellent. The main courses were also quite decent, with the beef tenderloin dish being my favourite. The halibut course was my least favourite as it felt a bit flavourless to me. The meal ended with a fantastic dessert course and some nice petit fours. The non-alcoholic pairing was quite good, and the drinks went quite well with the different courses. Service was brilliant. The restaurant staff constantly take care of you, and check with you if the meal is going well. Each course was explained very well by the staff which helps you understand and appreciate the food. Overall, Dziaugsmas is a very good fine-dining establishment, and I would recommend a visit to this restaurant if you’re looking to choose a Michelin star place to goto in Vilnius.

We had a birthday celebration at Džiaugsmas, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The dinner was fantastic — every dish was perfectly crafted, full of creativity and balance. I especially loved the main course, and the dessert was a perfect combination of sweetness, texture, and taste. The interior is modern and exclusive, creating a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The service was excellent, and it’s easy to see why Džiaugsmas holds a Michelin star. A must-visit place in Vilnius for anyone who appreciates fine dining and culinary artistry.

Tried the tasting menu, liked pretty much everything, besides the petit fours. The atmosphere was not the best: table lamp dusty, cutlery boxes with chipped paint. The server explained the dishes briefly and bluntly. The water glasses were not refilled. Overall, food was enjoyable, however, I had better experience in other restaurants in Vilnius.

We had a reservation for 7:30 PM, but we wanted to dine early at 5 PM. They were kind enough to accommodate our request and seated us promptly. The service here was exceptional. Our server provided us with a comprehensive overview of the menu options, including a la carte or tasting menus. We opted for a la carte and shared several dishes. Some of the standout dishes we enjoyed was the mushroom with pig ears, and bone marrow with beef tartare dish. The thick marrow complemented the flavors of the beef perfectly. I highly recommend this dish and can understand why the restaurant holds a one Michelin star.

Creative dishes as expected from 1-start Michelin restaurant. We selected a la carte menue and most of dishes where good. Comparatively to other Michelin restaurants in the US and others countries, service in this restaurant is quite casual. It's not bad, just not as smooth as expected. I will be surprised if next year it will keep it's star. Still good restaurant to visit, especially for the price.

Absolute gem of a place! The staff was wonderful and kind and the ambiance felt cozy. I decided to have the salmon and cream cheese bagel and it was absolutely delicious! The bagel was still soft and the top had a nice crunch to it, the salmon and all the other toppings paired very well with the rest of the bagel! I will definitely be stopping back here next time I am in town!

Had the bagel of the month and it was the best bagel I've had outside of NYC. Lovely atmosphere and super nice staff (i think the one girl was on her first shift, keep up the great work, you got this!). Absolute must place for a good coffee and great food.

We had seen the place in a travelguide on YouTube and were very exited. Its a very small place and has alot going on in the room in addition to that, the tables were not cleared when customers left. So it felt a little messy, but we had to try the bagels. We ordered a bagel with tuna salad and a bagel of the month wich were blue cheese and pear. There were alot more egg than tuna in the tuna salad and I actually thought she got my order wrong. I can recommend the blue cheese bagel. The homemade lemonade were deffinately not homemade.

The experience I had in this cafe was so wonderful. The smoothie was very fresh. I could taste fruit very well. The bagel was so so so good. I ordered blueberry flavored cream cheese bagel and it was so so so so so good. I really wanna eat them againnnnn. The smor (it was with brownie ish thing under the marshmallow) was so crispy and sweet. Like all the texture, sweetness, and taste were PERFECT. Plus the service was 💋😘 she was so nice and sweet. So the conclusion is…. JUST RUN TO THIS CAFE RIGHT NOW!!!

There however lies the pitfall though. The taste just cannot keep up with the presentation. Everything is well cooked, but not surprising. Still a very good place to eat.

I had the pleasure of dining here twice, both times enjoying their crispy potato pancakes with salmon and the refreshing cold beet soup – a classic done right. During the second visit, minor renovation work was underway, which slightly impacted the ambiance during breakfast. Still, the staff remained professional, and the quality of the food was just as impressive as before. All in all, this eatery delivers a consistently high standard in both food and service. Even with a temporary distraction, it maintained a level of care and authenticity that deserves recognition. Highly recommended – a hidden gem that’s more than worthy of a star in its own right.

We ate very well there, the beef steak, cooked as I requested, was succulent, the burger was well garnished and the herring tasty. The terrace is quite comfortable except that it's dark at night and quite noisy because of the nearby road. The service was quite good even if the waiting time was a little long.

Recommended by my coworker. Had a lovely dinner with colleague. We loved the appetizers, tiger shrimp was so declious, the fries were yummy but feels over-fried to us, a bit hard on the teeth (or I’m getting old). Duck breast tasted well, really good presentation.

A good option to try the local cuisine. At the corner of one of the most populated streets, there is a large patio with big trees and enough space between the tables. The cold beetroot soup is a refresher in the hot/humid days with some yogurt, shallot, dill and a surprise boiled egg in it. Thick but energizer. I didn’t like the boiled potato covering the meatballs, the starchy taste was dominant. The meat tasted bland. Even the bacon seasoning on top couldn’t make the twist. Pulled chicken nuggets were OK, pity that those were deep-fried. Overall experience was good, a calorie-dense course, but that’s not a big deal on vacation.

We are a group of non-Lithuanian speaking exchange students and had a wonderful experience. The food was incredible, I had the ribs and they just fell apart, the beef was also incredibly tender. The quality of the food for the price of it was outstanding.

Modern, delicious Lithuanian food with lovely outdoor terrace seats 👍🏻 Sous vide Beef Cheeks were cooked well, tender, rich in flavour with a tasty red wine sauce. Lithuanian potato-meat dumplings "Cepelinai" were amazing, squishy chewy outer potato layer filled with a rich pork/bacon filling and broth, really loved it with the sour cream! Enjoyed the food with a Lithuanian apple cider, and a nice view of the street and nearby square. Great experience, do try 😚

This place didn’t really win me over, and what disappointed me most was the service. I don’t know if it’s a broader issue in Vilnius, but I often found the service there lacking. Staff members seemed inattentive, unhelpful, maybe even a bit lost. At this café, there were three waitresses behind the counter, none of whom made any effort to approach or assist. They just kept chatting among themselves while customers waited. It came across as quite rude. As for the pastries, they were overly sweet and lacking in depth of flavor. A dessert should balance sweetness, not overwhelm, and this one definitely overwhelmed me. On the bright side, the ice cream was fine, and the coffee was okay, but overall I didn’t find this to be a particularly memorable or special place. Quite average, really.

We went to eat at the restaurant based on recommendations from friends. The owner Karol and the waiter were super friendly, even though we don’t speak Lithuanian or Russian and they don’t speak English fluently. We were 3 people and ordered the Lithuanian tasting dish that includes a variety of local cuisine. It was delicious and we didn’t wait too long for it to arrive. It was a great size and we all had enough to eat. The beer, wine and cocktail we had were also great. Karol even gave us souvenirs of the place. I don’t know the waiter’s name but he was very friendly as well. We definitely want to come back.

This is a review about the restaurant. I almost missed eating there because the advertising seems more geared to their lodging. The food was top notch, so I went back again during my week in Vilnius. The first visit I had the Mutton Soup which was super tasty, full of fresh vegetables and meat. Excellent, best soup I've had in ages with real homemade flavor. Also had the tomato and mozzarella salad which was very fresh. The mozzarella was great. The second visit I tried the stuffed eggplant wrapped in bacon and drizzled with pesto- almost ordered another serving it was so good. The dumplings were good too. Loved their homemade bread, especially the bread in the photo with the soup. Soft inside and crispy outside. The staff was friendly and professional. Downstairs, they also have an impressive collection of different styles of bricks from many, many foundaries - all with the foundary stamps. Got some great design ideas from that.

Place looked amazing, food looked amazing but... Looks are not all that matters. Prices were way higher than the quality of food but the most problematic element was the blonde waiter working there. He acted like we were intruders there or like he was forced to work - very dismissive, unpleasant and unmoved by guests trying to be polite.

A gratuity of approximately 12% is automatically added to the bill without being asked. They also charge extra for small things like €1 for a sauce. Service is poor; the chef went outside specifically to ask for more money.

Restaurant: Maybe because we came late at 21:00 - one hour before closure the served hot meal wasn't quite good. Overcooked (over boiled) dumplings (pelmeni) and the served Shurpa soup was semi-warm . Cold snacks (beef carpaccio & aubergines) were awesomely delicious.

A place with a nice vibe, often crowded. Wide menu, with a choice of savory bagels, sweet donuts and smoothie bowls - a good place for breakfast or brunch. I chose strawberry and pistachio donuts - the donuts are good but a bit dry, they would be perfect if they had filling. I recommend the buckthorn tea cocktail. The servers were somehow off, no joy or friendliness.

Overview: very intimate dining experience with complete strangers. Foods great but loses on space and time on food prep. The atmosphere in this place is like a run down speak easy, 4 man operation, 3 in the kitchen and 1 man to serve and take orders. It appears this place is very popular, but cannot handle the extra foot traffic when all “seats” are taken up inside and out. I was sat right next to a window sill which felt like I was eating at an estranged cousins birthday party, lifting my plate off the window to eat on my lap. Not the greatest eating experience, but the food was great. Can’t fault it, but I would advise all to get here early or just move on if it’s packed. Waiting time for just a smoothie is 15mins on top of more waiting around for your food and/or starters. There’s other vegan restaurants that can take the extra foot traffic and busier periods with less hassle than this place. Over all, 3 stars, foods amazing, atmosphere and eating experience is where this place looses out on when it’s busy, but great when it’s not. Great job for the 4 guys running this place

The place was quite small and cozy. They had alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. I went for sage tea. I ordered snack sun-dried tomatoes snack. And two main dishes stuffed portobello and baked baby potatoes with oyster mushrooms. The snacks came with bread and nice presentation. The stuffed portobello was good and well presented and the portion was big with some cheese some sauces and herbs on top. Worth the money. For the baked potatoes the mushrooms were so good and well cooked with the sauce. The potion was big and generous. I would recommend this place. It is a good option for vegan and vegetarian people.

I discovered this beautiful lunch place and I loved it! Limit menu and they change the menu everyday, so no repeated food if you have your lunch here regularly. Price is reasonable, it was 5 Euro for most of the meals but very recently it increased, not it's 5.5 Euro now. Good food, reasonable price, gentle staffs to take care you, what else you need! The location is just very next to McDonald at Gadimino pr.

Tried this restaurant while staying nearby on our first visit from the UK and it didn't disappoint, menu had a fantastic choice of starters, mains and desserts with a full drinks menu. Atmosphere is great, 2 servers for whole place who did an amazing job all the time we were there, running plates and serving the bar! Outdoor space too for warmer evenings or smokers. Interior is of a modern design and really looks great. Food itself was amazing, highly recommend, we both had the chicken and neither have had a better chicken dish anywhere! Only downside is only having the one toilet, so as it got busier, which it did to the point of people actually waiting at bar for a table it's that good, it became a bit of a Waiting game. Highly suggest a visit.

I came by here on a Sunday, mainly because of the great many reviews. I bet that the staff and food is better on a regular day, but I can only write a review based on my experience today. First of all, the staff was unengaged, not smiling, almost like I bothered them by being there. The first impression was not good so I decided to try a small dish before ordering a main. I ordered a chili soup, and unfortunately the bread was cold, probably prepared the day before and wasn’t heated up before serving. And the soup had a big ball of cheese in it. All cheese had clumped up and wasn’t nice at all. The flavor of the soup otherwise was ok. Based on the experience I decided not to order anything else but instead pay. After a while I went to the staff at the bar to pay. The only one there was eating her lunch on the counter, and I guess the sushi she wasn’t from this restaurant.

Managed to be seated for an hour without reservation. English is spoken and menu also in English. Cute ambiance and delicious food!! Yes it’s pricier than other places but coming from the UK I think it’s worth it.

Nice little Beer Garden tucked away just off of the street and adjacent to the main restaurant. Huge tree with plenty of outdoor seating. Not a huge selection of beers, but nice and cold as well as served by wonderfully kind staff. I opted for a well made Cuba Libra as a result . Cheese sticks were hot and crispy. Went over there as I was told it was cheap, nice and popular amongst locals, which is a guarantee most of the times when travelling abroad. We went three times in one week, the first time was the best by far and the rest were not so good. Firstly we went on a busy friday night and we order x2 Chicken Torero. It was what you´d call pub food but for the price it was great, good value for money. On top of that, my partner is gluten free and our waitress was that fantastic that she explained her what she could have from the menu. We left so happy that decided to go back two days later, on a warm night on sunday. I ordered quite a lithuanian snack; fried bread with a mayonnaise/cheesy sauce on the side that didn´t like at all as it made me feel bloated and almost didn´t touch it. I blamed it on the kind of fried (maybe it was the oil being used about thousand times?? I don´t know) food it was and understood that, simply, I just didn´t like it at all. However, the third night I ordered a chicken skewer with salad and my girlfriend a feta salad. I don't know for what reason but that night we felt pretty much the same way, bloated and we barely ate half of the plate. I don´t know what it was but we felt pretty much the same way. On top of that, we noticed a couple of tables around ours leaving the plates nearly untouched. So, in the end I'd say I got a bit of mixed feeling about the place; great service, good atmosphere, good beer but I would not know what to expect from the food if I happened to be there again.

I spent a week teleworking from Vilnius and this became my home away from home. The employees are super-friendly, the food is absolutely delicious and the beer is fantastic(and made in the basement, so it's very fresh). The atmosphere is wonderful - an authentically old place with tons of character. I will always come back here when I return.

The atmosphere is really nice and they have several different types of games. I had a great time there, and would definitely go back. I had just drinks and cheese plate, but the food coming for the other tables looked nice. Service is slow, as the place gets easily crowded.

The cats are very cute and friendly, and the interior is nice, pleasant staff as well. I didn't love the food though, the veggie hamburger was very soggy and fell apart, could be done more carefully. The tea and coffee were nice and had some nice touches like the little cinnamon paws, and the complimentary cat cookies. I think it's a nice experience and a good place for a coffee break, I just wouldn't really recommend it for a meal.

Lovely space, with very kind staff and a good environment for the kitties. We came on a day without reservation and, as it is mandatory, we decided to come back the next day with reservation. There are rules and I loved to see everything that is made to provide a secure and comfortable space for the cats. It is really a home for them ♥️

They have great food especially the pesto chicken pasta, and prices are reasonable. The cats are cute, and some are friendly. There's no entry fee charge like some cat cafes and reservations are not required but it can get busy.

Great place for a quiet cosy evening. Very tasty pumpkin pancakes and pasta with shrimp. The dessert is excellent, too - tiramisu and brainy. The cats are nice and very cared about, interesting to watch. Wifi.

It's worth a visit for the kitties alone. It's a cause worth supporting. However unfortunately the food was rather bad. Some of the staff is very friendly, others not so much.

Best pizza in Vilnius hands down! Friendly service, great menu, super fresh ingredients and good prices! The menu is diverse with loads of pizza options for everyone in the family. Food came super fast, and pizzas were such good quality - I was blown away. The atmosphere of the resteraunt is cozy, warm and inviting: it is family friendly with a kids play area, and there are many tables with sofas and comfy chairs. The Ice cream was also phenomenal - such diverse amount of flavours and all homemade, never tried anything like it in Lithuania. Will definetely visit when in Vilnius again!

A hit or miss for me. Some things I like (I’m one of the crazy ones who’s not a fan of pizza, but Jurgis’ is one I usually enjoy, especially with the exciting flavor combos), some I LOVE(like the green salad eith granola crunch), and some I’d never eat again (like the Greek salad - it felt so unbalanced that it made me sad). The prices are pretty high, and the portions small to average. I tend to eat small meals and snack often, so they’re perfect for me — but if you need a bit more food to fill you up, keep this in mind!

Super cute cafe. Opened till 23:00. Came here after a long day of traveling. Had the chicken Caesar and a peach mousse dessert plus two hot teas. Arrived at 10:30 and everything was fresh and delicious.

Amazing cakes and coffee. I had the peach cream cake 🍑 We also tried the caramel popcorn 🍿 and pistachio raspberry. All were delicious! Great iced latte too. ☕️Will definitely return to try their croissants, which looked insanely good!

Amazing atmosphere inside with live music playing. The chorizo hash could have done with a bit more salt but overall the dish was delicious. There’s a great selection of desserts as well with a few vegan options available. Everything was very decently priced.

Such an amazing location. Great choice of food, and it was really amazing breakfast. The food is perfect. But…. I was waiting for my coffee 24 minutes as well as for a juice and glass of Prosecco. Food arrived in 45 minutes and all the dishes at the same time. Nobody said to me I have to wait for so long, nobody said sorry for waiting so long. Nothing …. Someone was screaming at the kitchen looked like argument is going on… Service is so poor and it influences the atmosphere:(( Really have double feelings food is good, service is really bad. Not sure if I would come or will recommend it So we have tried second time as everyone was saying that give the second chance. So I will put one more star as the service was really good today. The food was good like the first time. So we are going to come the third time and if the service will be good than I will definitely will change it to 5star.

I recently visited a restaurant that boasts delicious brunch options, particularly its egg and salmon dishes. The food was indeed mouth-watering and definitely lived up to its reputation. However, the downside of the dining experience was the long wait time, with over an hour and a half passing before our food arrived. Despite this, I would still recommend this restaurant for those seeking delicious brunch options, but perhaps with the expectation of a longer wait.

One of the most Instagrammable spots in Vilnius. Incredible all-day breakfasts, an excellent selection of cocktails and desserts. Their pastries are true works of art. Beautiful interior and outstanding service. Located in the city center with a terrace available on warm days. I highly recommend this place not only for its delicious food but also for the perfect Instagram photos!

Perfect place for the breakfast on a weekend. Wide range of healthy and delicious foods. Adorable Xmas decorations inside and outside of the place. Totally worth visiting 🥰🧸 Many variations of egg Benedict 👌🏼 Good breakfast options for lactose-free and gluten-free diet. I’ve enjoyed egg Benedict with avocado and salmon and asked not to put the hollandaise sauce on top of it. It was delicious 🤤 Orange fresh seemed too pricey, they brought a half (or even less) of a glass and it cost 6,2€ per 1 glass. It’s pretty crowded on a 12pm, so you should make a reservation a day before.

It was my first night in Vilnius and this burger restaurant was only 5 mins walk from where I was staying! Perfect! The burger was cooked medium as requested, and it was very tasty meat! Well seasoned and good quality beef! The fries were nice too! And along with a glass bottle of Coke it made for a reasonably priced and filling dinner! Good work guys! If you like your burgers then this place will be right up your street! ;)

Of all the places I visited on my two week long burger quest (American priorities) that spanned the three Baltic capitals, two of my top three came from this place. My first burger from Boom was their goat cheese buger which comes with a "patty" of mild and super tasty pan-fried goat cheese. Next I had the Mother of Dragons with the bean patty from their Mr. Bean burger. The bean patty had a fun texture and when they say spicy THEY MEAN IT! As someone who enjoys extremely spicy foods, I appreciated this very much. Buns were top notch, however, this seems to be a common theme with Baltic burgers. Go for lunch and you can get a free side. I'd recommend the fries which are crisp and seasoned well. All in all, Balts know how to burger and this place is one of the best! A+

Very nice “professional” burger place in town. Mother of Dragons burger is indeed a spicy smack in face! A bit pricey for Vilnius but you won’t be disappointed.

I had the Boom Burger. It was nice. Had a good taste. The fries were also very good, but sadly I got only very small and tiny fries... But in the end a good restaurant with good burgers.

Really great service! Good food. You can order skinny version of hamburger with extra salad and without bun. You can check the wine like in a proper restaurant. BTW: Thank u guys for the first aid kit yesterday :-)

I have tasted original Boomburger with angus beef medium rare with side of chips. The meat is nice and juicy, but missed taste and grill marks. Could be better. I would give 8.5

Delicious food. All Vegetarian so a good option for people who are looking for halal food. The soup was delicious, had a pumpkin and broccoli soup. The Meatballs where also amazing. Definitely 1 of my favorite places in Vilnius. A good place for Muslims who have no Halal option!

Don’t miss out this restaurant. Whether you eat vegan or vegetarian! The dishes are delicious, make with care and only natural ingredients. And you can taste it. The menu is based on Arab and Indian dishes. Some delicious gyozas are on the menu two, both delicious..!! And the wide range of smoothies are not to be missed out either. The coffees special blend is best to be enjoyed black.

Responsiveness of the staff The food was great! Taste and presentation... Music selection was incredible - whoever picked the music has better taste in music than most Americans I know (most of the music was American, a la Bon Iver, Citizen Cope, and other very chill music). Trendy and modern atmosphere but absolutely not hipster and put-off-ish like similar joints in America I ate here twice during my stay and would absolutely eat here again.

We took away several burritas and we were absolutelly amazed by the quality. All the ingredients were fresh and the beef was super juicy. We’ve tried different burritas all over the world and could definitely say that No Forks have very good ones 😉 Plus, staff are client oriented, could advise and suggest depending on our wishes 🤗

The best burrito in my life so far (I tried a lot all around the world). Large selection of toppings, fresh ingredients, good beef and the cook also helped me to make the choice and was really friendly. The kitchen btw is also really clean. Note, that they accepted only card payments!

Very nice surprise ordering here as the tacos came half ready and the ingredients where in small cups so I could prepare myself. I really enjoyed this packaging as it came out really fresh

We tried some quesadillas and burritos. It was really good. Nicely spice and perfect blend of flavour. They are very friendly and help you decide as well. They have an English menu too.

The burrito was pretty average. The rice was was slightly crunchy, I think they need to improve and practice a bit more.

Tasting menu. Dishes were tasty. Octopus leg was fantastic, for me one of best I have tasted. Couple of dishes contained expressed taste of curry, coriander. Desserts well balanced. Dessert "smile" was intriguing, with caviar and salted caramel, niam.

I showed up to Gaspar’s not knowing what to expect, but ended up having a lovely dinner! As a vegan it’s hard to come by creative (and tasty) food especially while travelling, but I am happy to have come across this place as the team at Gaspar’s did an excellent job 🙌 Especially the service was incredible!! They did not have a vegan starter available so I received an improvised starter made by the chef with courgette freshly plucked from their garden. I also LOVED the homemade naan bread and the Feral non-alcoholic drink. The atmosphere at the restaurant is very inviting, but the space is not so big so it’s better to book ahead. I’m hoping they incorporate more vegan items in the menu as I’d love to come back and try more things! Also to point out, the price between starter and the main was very small however the portion size was massively different so I’d prefer if it was more balanced in the future. 🙏🏼 everything else was perfect ☺️

Can truly recommend this gem of a restaurant in Vilnius Old town. Fantastic, innovative food and great service. We shared some starters and had scallops ceviche, grilled octopus/vongole clams, rice fritter with tuna and a variation of squash. All was great but the scallop ceviche with yuzu was amazing. For mains I had Gapsar’s mum’s curry with lobster tail. Great, aromatic, spicy! For dessert I had the take on strawberries and cream with subtle Indian flavours. A perfect ending to a great meal.

A relatively small venue that managed the space well. We were lucky to enjoy eating our way through Lithuania & Latvia during summer 2025. On balance, this was probably the best meal of our trip. Clever flavours, helpful service and a charming chef. Expensive but worth the money. Understandably busy so booking recommended.

Cozy place with an interesting meniu. However, food was rather disappointing. Flavours were mild, couldn’t feel any Portuguese or Indian, very tasteless seafood. Price on the other hand, very high comparing to the quality. Atmosphere was nice, interesting selection, but many better places to eat in Vilnius.

It was a dinner for two in this restaurant. Corn chicken was good. But we ordered champagne in a glass, which wasn’t sparkling. The cheesecake was not a classic recipe and it wasn’t tasty at all. The waitress did not ask why we don’t eat dessert and don’t drink champagne. So we paid for everything according to the receipt. The service was bad and inattentive.

From comments and our own experience, it seems that the quality of service is rather variable here. For us, it was efficient, professional, but quite cold, which is disappointing for a restaurant of this standard. However, the cuisine itself (international with a fusion touch) was excellent and refined both in flavour and in presentation, and of course the location is great. Make the service less impersonal and this place will deserve 5 stars.

It was so promising at first and good food too! But when I realized my breakfast dish portion was small (not a problem!) and sweet, I decided fantastic, gives me an opportunity to taste another, savory dish! That’s when I started trying to make eye contact with my waitress and, having received no reaction from her, with another three. I was literally turning in my chair to face them and making eye contact. They just kept dashing about, including mine… until I started stopping them and asking when I can get service. I guess they had assumed this was the time I should be quietly eating the dish I ordered 😀 and couldn’t comprehend (or stop to ask) why I was trying to get their attention 🤷‍♀️ It was a rather unusual experience at this fine establishment and as they all seemed alright… Well, except for my server who lacked finesse.

Food was OK, tasty and good, above average. But service was terrible. Waiter was not able to explain what we get, removed half of empty dishes, didn't asked maybe we want something else to drink. In such level restaurant you to keep high level service.

Wonderful view of Vilnius's main square.The kitchen was really excellent and of high quality, however the service for such a high-end restaurant was disappointingly low -0. We were a group of 20-25 people, and the tables had been reserved ahead of time but were not properly prepared, so we had to leave the restaurant and wait 10 minutes for them to be fixed.The server did not properly take our orders, therefore we had to wait an additional 30-40 minutes for hot dishes.I would urge that servers in this type of high-end restaurant wear a special, tidy uniform rather than a t-shirt, as in a kebab shop.The tables were all different sizes and heights, making it difficult for a group to sit together comfortably. Overall, the restaurant was not prepared to serve us, stuff needs trainings. Thanks to Kitchen.

We had the opportunity to visit this restaurant again during Lithuanian gastronomy week. The location is magical, especially if you are licky to get a corner table with a view to cathedral. Our expectations this time were probably too high. Food was delicious, especially starters. Lamb chops could be cooked better. Was well done and chewy. Overall, we had a nice evening. Definitely worth to visit and see you next time.

I am in paradise. We arrived for a quick bite to eat and had an outstanding experience. The food was just magnificent. The music sets the atmosphere just right. I feel relaxed and at peace just sipping my coffee here after one of the best lunches I’ve ever had.

Coffee was good, but the pastry was very stale and dry, not very delicious, but expensive. Although the atmosphere is very pleasant, it is a very beautiful place, where birds like to keep company:).

Strange Love is an excellent spot for both coffee lovers and those looking for a cozy place to spend time. The coffee is really high quality, and the sandwiches are fresh and delicious. The music inside creates a great vibe, and I loved the warm, international community atmosphere. Service is at the counter (not at the table), but that works well with the casual style of the place. I also appreciated that they were perfectly fine with me working remotely from there for a couple of hours — it’s definitely laptop-friendly. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.

Visited in Sep 2025 StrangeLove is generally regarded as one of the best cafes in Vilnius. Therefore ended up visiting this place a couple of times for breakfast during my trip to te city. Tried a few of their coffees (hot and cold) and they were quite good. The cafe also sells baked savoury & sweet items (cakes, pastries, etc.) which I would also recommend to try. The cafe also has a nice backyard (with seating) if you would like to enjoy your food & drinks outdoors. Overall, a really good cafe which I would definitely recommend visiting if you’re in Vilnius.

The coffee was tasty, but lukewarm. The cakes were nothing special, they look good, but tasted bluntly. Very much overpriced.

Let’s go STRANGER. Honestly, I didn’t want it to be, but it was my favorite coffee shop in the city. Maybe I didn’t like the name, or it didn’t have the same European vibe as the others, but hands-down was my favorite coffee. Such good coffee. Lots of seating inside and even more outside. Right next to a beautiful garden and park so you can grab a coffee and go for a walk. They are roaster as well and roast their own coffee. We tried a ricotta cheesecake as well, and it was very good.

Was expecting better. Food was good but not great. The tuna and steak were both overcooked to our tastes. And skewers were supposed to have chili oil but couldn’t taste any spice. The free buns with the pate butter was probably my favorite. Nice and kind wait staff though.

Nice place for business and causal lunch … I go there sometimes with colleagues … they have lunch menus and my usual is creamy mushroom soup or vegetable soup. For main course grilled fish with mash potatoes. Always experienced great service.

Had a great meal sitting outside at this lovely restaurant. Tried a white fish dish that was cooked perfectly, a meaty sausage dish, and a great bean and meat soup, each one flavorful and satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive, making for an overall pleasant experience. Would definitely return.

Before Ng there two times. First time the restaurant was full and very noisy.. Second time was better. Love their tartar- it was special and unusual- just can be larger portion. Restaurant is marketed with a Muchellin plate, however no stars. And pricy too.

This was my husbands birthday and he is 100% meat eater. Appetizers, even cod were surprisingly good, but the steaks were not at all. Which is a little bit disappointing.

12:21 I entered and ordered a matcha latte. The coffee was not crowded and other customers had already had their drinks. After me, there were about 2 or 3 new customers. After ordering, I stood waiting for my drink but the waitress told me that she would bring it to me. But it seemed that she forgot my matcha until the people who came after me had even finished their coffee but I still didn't have. It wasn't until she went out for smoke at 12:39. She sat near me but acted like she didn't see me, then I decided to ask for my drink. I saw a plastic matcha sitting on pickup table for a while but no one reminded me, not even the girl who said she would bring it to me. I was the only Asian there at that time so I can't say she didn't recognize. I looked at her a few times and waited for her reaction but it seemed like she deliberately ignored me and acted like nothing happened. I don't blame the long wait but her reaction made me think. I had intended to order food after drink but because of the service I decided to go. I have been here many times 2020 2021, the coffee and food still are quality but it's a pity that one person's mistake ruined the whole team's efforts.

A stylishly decorated café with a pleasant atmosphere where you can enjoy a good breakfast. Just be aware that it's not very spacious, so you may not be able to find a seat. I would criticize only the slightly higher prices and the very cold service.

Been to so many countries tried so many cafes. Never had any one of them could make avocado toast as bad as you do. Do you try your food before you put them on your menu for 12€? Cant cut as the edges are too hard. Can’t eat with hand as the whole middle part is so soft and soaked by the very weird supermarket super sour guacamole and chili flakes and sunflower seed? Omg I’ve not been this angry by food. Ruined the whole day’s mood for the city. The staff are friendly. Atmosphere is good. But pls do something with the one who made food. Outrageous. Maybe you should just sell coffee. Coffee tastes nice.

Honestly, best place to visit in the morning. We were in Vilnius for 24h and decided to come here after we checked out of the hotel. We were received warmly by 2 amazing girls, the coffee is outstanding, the food is fresh and very tasty. I had the shakshuka and my partner the turkish eggs, I was just blown away with everything. I hoghly recommend coming here and sitting around, it's a great spot!

There wasn't many people but took to long for the breakfast to make, and it came with the cold egg. They brought the coffee and when asked for sugar I needed to pick myself. The ambience have a old torn furniture and sofas.

Outdoor lunch spot. My favorite was the fried bread sticks with cream. We got a steak tartare to start (decent, but not spectacular). For mains, we had a seafood platter and an entrecote - both very okay. The seafood platter was large, but a bit over buttery. The entrecote was overcooked and not flavorful. The highlight was how huge the guava margarita was.

The food portion is huge and very tasty. The waiters are friendly and the mood is like the irish bars. There are some local beers too. We really like this place.

Visited last night to watch the West Ham United match with the missus and we both really enjoyed the evening. I was looking for a bar to watch the game and dropped them a message on Facebook asking if I could reserve a table to watch the match. I got a reply within minutes to confirm my booking and reserve a TV for us. Large selection of beers/drinks, enormous portion of chilli beef nachos for the price, and great music/vibe all around. Highly recommend if looking for a bar to watch sports and have a good evening.

Really cool bar that stays open late with a nice crowd of people. Full of locals and tourists - good mix - and nice atmosphere - can also watch sports on screens.

Absolutely amazing and cosy bar with one of the best selections on whiskey I have seen in a while, plenty of outdoor space to anyone who wants some for smoking or otherwise. The menu smelled and looked smashing although I did not try, but the best part was the friendly, knowledgeable staff and great selection of drinks. This café has a beautiful interior and a pleasant atmosphere, but the experience was somewhat underwhelming. The difference between a latte and a cappuccino was barely noticeable, and the staff could have been a bit more welcoming. Overall, it’s an okay spot, but nothing particularly special.

The place is absolutely gorgeous, stunning exterior, beautifully decorated interior, such a chic and cozy vibe. I had high hopes from the moment I walked in. Unfortunately, the experience was a complete letdown. I booked a table via Facebook messages well in advance, because I was coming with a special guest from abroad. When we arrived, there was no greeting or confirmation, just a casual “sit wherever you want.” Fine, it wasn’t busy. We sat down, scanned the QR code, and chose the afternoon tea set from the menu, one of the main reasons we came. The waitress said there’d be a 1 hour wait. A bit long, but okay, we agreed. Then she came back later to say it’s actually not available at all because they don’t have the ingredients and it has to be pre-ordered. That was never mentioned in the booking, and the menu doesn’t say anything about pre-ordering either. How are guests supposed to know. It felt careless and unprofessional, like we were just meant to figure it out ourselves. So, we tried to order the pink latte instead. The waitress literally walked away to make it, then came back some time later to let us know… it’s also unavailable. They didn’t have the pink ingredient to make it pink. It would be funny if it wasn’t so frustrating. In short, it’s a beautiful place, but the actual service was awkward, poorly communicated and completely mismatched with the high-end appearance. Definitely style over substance.

I went this morning, the place is really nice. I ordered four dishes, but unfortunately, they left me without food they only served me three. I asked the waiter if he took the order correctly, and he said yes. I had to go ask another waiter, and apparently, they didn’t take it properly. He told me to wait 10 minutes, but 25 went by and nothing, so we got up and left. Overall, the atmosphere is cozy, and the food my friends ordered looked good I can’t judge the taste since I obviously didn’t eat. Anyone can make a mistake, I just hope they improve!

3 years ago I invited a girl to have a date in this place, she didn’t come 😅 Now that girl is my wife and we’ve stopped by to commemorate that moment. It’s a great atmosphere and food… and same good today as three years ago. 👍

I recently visited Augustas & Barbora, a cafe located in the center of Vilnius. The decor of this little shop is quite lovely, with a floral theme throughout the space. However, the overall experience was quite disappointing. The service was poor, with staff seeming disinterested in providing a good experience. Furthermore, the hygiene of the establishment was questionable, as I observed employees handling food with their bare hands, and the barman even finishing plates of leftover food in front of my eyes. The prices at Augustas & Barbora were also quite expensive, which was disappointing given the quality of the experience. It is a shame that the beautiful pictures I took at the restaurant do not accurately reflect the real experience. The decor may be visually pleasing, but the lack of attention to detail and poor hygiene made it difficult to fully enjoy my visit. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's a pity that such a beautiful place has such poor service, hygiene and high prices.

Spent our first dinner in Vilnius at 14Horses, a Michelin Guide restaurant! Made sure to get the reservation in early. 💶 €60 per person (choice of 2 starters, 1 main, 1 dessert OR 3 starters, 1 main) ⭐️ Keep in mind they added an auto-tip of 10% on the bill We ordered 1 of every appetizer and we both got the “Beef from Nose to Tail” for the main. The bread (more like flaky butter pastry) and butter at the start was superb. The appetizers were outstanding but the 3 that stood out most to us was the donut with honey fungus & sturgeon caviar, the sourdough with shish kebab, and the soufflé pancake with smoked eel. The donut was the most surprising, it was heavy with a flavourful filling and the caviar really complemented it. The presentation was nice and not too obnoxious. The service was overall very pleasant but sort of inconsistent. We got our bread and appetizers pretty quickly but there was at least half an hour before our appetizer and main, which was kind of weird. The main also didn’t seem as interesting as the appetizers. It came with a pastry with beef cheek, tongue, sweetbread, and a cut of meat. There was also a small side salad and white asparagus. Everything tasted good but it wasn’t amazing. Maybe wouldn’t come back unless they decide to do maybe a 6-dish tasting menu with equal focus across all dishes vs the main that didn’t seem like anything too special when it came to flavour and presentation. Appreciated the little meringue palette cleanser and marshmallows at the end. *Closed Monday & Sunday

Loved it. Came for the "donuts" but all the food was very delicious, mostly made from local produce. The brioche with the salted butter was incredible. Lovely non alcoholic drinks.

This restaurant's combination of culinary creativity and Lithuania's fantastic farm to table access is a delight. A set 60 euro menu lets two diners sample almost all of the intriguing offerings -- a fair price for so much work in the kitchen. If the server can't answer your foodie questions, the friendly chef will come out and explain, for example, why the "doughnut" appetizer has "honey fungus" (it's a mushroom -- Lithuanians are obsessive mushroom hunters) and "blackened milk." Standouts for us were the bone marrow, the catfish, Zander (lake whitefish) en brioche, and all the fun amuse-bouches the chefs just throw in because their creativity apparently can't be contained. It's no wonder they received a Michelin Bib Gourmand award for excellent food at a reasonable price. Make a reservation and go!

It was my first time coming here and I had a blast. I absolutely loved the menu and the amount of novelty it brings. They even had a dessert which tasted like bread. The staff were brilliant and very kind. Definitely widened my existing flavour pallet. Ačiū! Būtinai sugrįšiu.

We went there yesterday and we loved it! We took the menu where we got 2 starters, 1 sirloin for two and deserts. All the starters were great, but the steamed dumpling was out of this world! It was so good that I could’ve eaten ten of them!! If you’re considering this restaurant, book a table, you will not be disappointed. :) Also, the coctails were exceptional!

Our recent dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Opting for a meal comprising two appetizers, one main course, and a dessert, we were thoroughly impressed with each dish. The dessert, in particular, was beyond amazing and truly the highlight of the evening. The meal began with a delightful brioche served with salted butter. It was an absolute standout—possibly the best brioche we have tasted in a very long time. Each bite was a perfect blend of softness and richness, setting a high bar for the rest of the meal. To accompany our meal, we chose a non-alcoholic sparkling wine. It was delicious and complemented the flavors of our food beautifully- great suggestion of our waiter! To conclude our meal, we ordered decaf coffee. Although there was a bit of a wait, the waiter was incredibly apologetic and explained that they had run out and had to make a quick run to the shop to restock. This level of dedication to customer service was greatly appreciated and did not go unnoticed. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable and delicious meal in Vilnius!

The service is excellent. The food, however, has major shortcomings. The first dish, with salad and vegetables, felt like something you’d feed a caged rodent. The starters were otherwise good but extremely small, even considering it’s a multi-course menu. The intermediate dumplings were absolutely outstanding, made according to the head chef’s mother’s recipe. I’ve never encountered a Michelin-starred restaurant where bread and butter are counted as one course, or where a palate cleanser served before the mains is also considered a separate course. And then it turned out that in this 10-course menu, there was exactly one actual main course. The classic wine pairing (5 wines) cost €107, which I cannot justify after tasting their quality. They were decent but nothing special. I don’t know if the Michelin Guide came to Lithuania “by force,” but having dined at many starred restaurants across Scandinavia, this place has no rightful place on that list, apart from its excellent customer service. The overall quality of both the food and wine does not, by any means, correspond to the high price point.

What an incredible dining experience! This is hands down my favorite fine dining spot in Vilnius. I brought a group of 10 colleagues, and we were seated in a private room, which made the evening feel extra special. Our server was fantastic, guiding us through each dish and sharing the stories behind them. The menu was full of creative, well-balanced plates, each more impressive than the last. And the final dessert? It completely stole the show and became the highlight of our conversations for the rest of the night—it definitely delivered the shock factor! I’d recommend this place without hesitation, especially if you’re hosting international colleagues and want to give them a memorable experience in Vilnius.

Absolutely wonderful meal and fantastic service. Had the veggie tasting menu and every dish was not only delicious, but artfully presented. Staff explain each dish in a fun manner, enhancing the experience. Very imaginative creations.

Staffs are very friendly and nice, which makes the whole experience more joyful. I liked the storytelling of each dish. The waiter was so mindful that he noticed we don’t like drinking alcohol, he recommended sparkling grape juice produced at their farm. We had grape juice with berries and rosemaries, it was very nice. Every dish was interesting and delicious but the three most impressive dishes for me were 1. Third dish: the texture was quite interesting; the outside is crispy but the inside is incredibly soft, and the caviar was the cherry on the top; it makes the overall taste not bland or oily. 2. Taco: hats off to the chef’s imagination. Absolutely loved the taste of the harmony of all the ingredients, and the story behind the dish. 3. Ice cream with ants: ants go perfectly well with the ice cream. Never thought I would enjoy eating ants. When it comes to dessert, it could be a little more creative as all the desserts were ice cream/sorbet. The sorbet before the main dish was delightfully refreshing though. Overall, it was a lovely, tasty experience!

I booked the dinner for 4 in three months in advance because last time I visited Vilnius, I wasn’t able to get one. We had a very unique experience tasting Lithuanian high quality ingredients and great service. We got detailed explantation on each course. I highly recommend explore this place and enjoy your meal.

Some good courses - Hello (pork crackling and apple), dumplings and ant on ice cream were highlights. Dairy cow beef was a mistake as it was quite tough and the accompanying chicken caramel sauce was cold. Paprika tasted like red pepper mousse on rye bread - didn't enjoy this as a desert. Enjoyed the wine pairing. Forgot our coats when we were leaving and had to get them ourselves, same with the next couple behind us. Some quirky service which doesn't fit this price point.

This is the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The food was sublime, featuring flavors and presentations I had never seen or tasted before. The wine was absolutely outstanding — for example, we had a Tuscan red that was among the best I’ve ever tasted. The Riesling was equally impressive, and the Eiswein sent me straight into dreamland. But the very best part was the atmosphere created by the staff. Incredibly present, authentic, and generous. Vilnius is a fantastic place to visit, and this restaurant alone could be reason enough to come to the Lithuanian capital.

Best brunch we had in Vilnus. Everything we tried was outstanding. Specially the curd pancakes and the turkish eggs. Drinks were also very good. Would definitely come back next time visiting.

The food looks better in pictures but in terms of taste, it’s disappointing. I ordered the item from brunch with Turkish eggs. There’s nothing Turkish about this dish. Clearly, all they care about is presentation and not the taste. The dish is 90% just yogurt with maybe a sprinkle of feta cheese and doused in chilli. The portion itself is very small for the price they’re charging and especially for a “brunch” item. Very disappointing.

Beautiful and tastefully decorated place, delicious and sweet pancakes, very good macchiato latte. I must add that the employee was smiling and pleasant and welcomed me even at the hour before closing. Great place.

Servis was not very welcoming. Strawberry matcha was disgusting, but the mango one was good. Food was delicious, we had turkish eggs. But regarding the price it was not worthy (13,5€ for a small portion). I would not recommend.

Disappointing experience. We had to wait around 40 minutes for our food, all while sitting next to a noisy kids’ playground with screaming babies — not exactly a relaxing atmosphere. It also seemed like Wolt orders were being prioritised over customers dining in, which added to the frustration. Slow service overall. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful meal or prompt service.

Turkish eggs are nice, however the portion size is medium, if you are not a tiny girl you might stay hungry. The coffee wasn’t great and the place is loved by young mums, so it’s noisy, but overall a nice place to have a Sunday brunch

We had a blast here. Igor was one of the best and friendliest bartenders we have ever had. Cocktails were crafted to perfection. Espresso martini is a must try! The whole staff was also extremely attentive, can’t wait to come back!

Thyme Sour cocktail was probably the best cocktail I have EVER tasted in my life. I was recommended by a friend to come here and I’m so glad we did. staff happy to help with recommendations and talk through options. I will 100% come back here again.

Perfect place for really good cocktails with a Lithuanian Twist. The drinks are creative, the people are really nice and the ambience is as well. We had a Beetroot Manhatten, Nick&Nora Old Fashioned, Rye Old Fashioned and 999 Red Paloma and can absolutely recommend them.

Amazing spot for an amazing cocktail. Edvinas and Beatričė were the best bartenders I’ve encountered in this entire region. Great mix of traditional Lithuanian drinks with a twist on classics. Great music and vibe - would highly recommend anyone come. Really top-notch service all around.

Of course we had to go to this bar since my name is in its name. Great cozy bar. We had the famous Vilnius Porn Star martini with some olives and it did not disappoint. This place is just cocktails with a few snacks a little pricey but the quality of the drink was worth it!

Would have been nice if everything was opened. Belgian friterie was closed but didn't had any typical snacks anyway, only the fries which you can get anywhere. The fish and chips were delicious tho. But would have been nice if there were more languages available then only Lithuanian.

We had a great time. Great vibe, delicious food. We tried some bao buns (Ping Pong), pizza (Pizza verde), and fish and chips (Paikis), salmon bowl (Bola). None of the food disappointed. Drinks (beer, cider, coctails) are available at the bar. Overall, a good place for casual dinner with friends where everyone can find something they like (evrn vegans).

Food was nice, but the Pizza was the star of the show! Excellent quality, very tasty and well-made. Burgers were also nice, very filling. Cool atmosphere, lots of choice. Place is packed during lunchtime.

Nice food court to have some Lithuanian beers and some not so Lithuanian, but delicious, food. They have it all. Nice spot to watch people too. The place attracts a lot of young hipsters and young families.

This is a very nice venue in modern style. Loud with music playing in the background and trailers rolling on the large screens. This is the place for anyone that does not fear crowd and sound. Four reasons to come here are; the small cinema where you can bring your food and beverages, the pop corn lab, the play corner for children and the tasty food!

There is a new food court in downtown Vilnius with a variety of choices. We tried some amazing sushi which were quite expensive but very delicious. Also, had fish and chips, but the fish was greasy. Finally, tried bao buns which were too sweet for us and lacked some acidity. Overall this was a pleasant experience which I would recommend for Sunday brunch with family and friends.

My colleagues and I had dinner there a few days ago . My ribeye was cooked perfectly and the staff was very attentive.

This restaurant has a warm, family-oriented atmosphere and feels very cozy. The wine selection is impressive, and they even serve champagne by the glass, which is quite a rare find in Vilnius. I ordered a Caesar salad, available with either chicken or shrimp, and chose to have both. The dish was delicious, and I would certainly recommend this place.

After being uncertain about whether we would be allowed to River Town with our dogs, we have never been so surprised by a restaurant. From our enthusiastic and friendly waiter, to the comfortable, welcoming and cozy atmosphere, to of course the selection of drinks and food available - everything was massively above expectations. We had heard that both the seafood and steak was “the best in Vilnius” and it has to be said that it is quite possibly the best in Lithuania and beyond. Having had steak around the world, the quality of both the ribeye and fillet on offer was exceptional. The Octopus was cooked to perfection and puts a lot of other restaurants to shame. This was rounded off with starters and desserts that, whilst available in most high end restaurants, were tastier than most equivalent dishes we have had around the world. Our dogs were treated to 2 rounds of raw meat that kept them as happy as they could be whilst they joined us. It’s safe to say that from the many birthday celebrations we have had over the years, River Town played a large part in the best to date. To sum it up, if you’re in Vilnius for any length of time, River Town is a restaurant that you can’t afford to miss out on.

Great service and amazing food. Best steak I've had in Europe!

The first night in Vilnius was supposed to be special, so I found River Town on the list of the best restaurants. I was especially convinced by the octopus in the photos, because I love octopus. After a whole day of traveling, we were really hungry. The restaurant was empty, except for one other guest besides us. So it was quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, it was also terribly cold. Maybe it’s too early to turn on the heating in September, but freezing in a restaurant already spoils the experience by itself. Although we were the only guests, we waited an hour for our food. They did bring us the bread we had ordered, but unfortunately, it was only dark rye, which my body cannot digest and I really dislike, and focaccia dyed black with ink, with a white coating on top that made it look downright disgusting, like moldy bread. And since people eat with their eyes first, I found its very presence on the table unpleasant. My partner did taste both breads, but he wasn’t enthusiastic at all — in fact, we returned the bread basket just as it had been brought to us. Why is it a problem for such a restaurant to have some regular bread and a bit of butter? Even though we were alone in the restaurant, with two waiters present, they paid no attention to us — we had to pour our own wine and water. After an hour of waiting, they finally brought me my octopus. Unfortunately, it had nothing to do with the dish in the photos that brought us here. The octopus itself was soft, but in many places, especially at the tips of the tentacles, it was burned — the bitterness of the burn completely overpowered the delicacy of the octopus. What I really couldn’t understand was the mixture of warm vegetables it was served with. No purée like in the photos, but a completely nonsensical mix of vegetables that didn’t go together at all. Not grilled, just chopped into small pieces, lightly heated in a pan, completely unseasoned, and terribly sour — probably from tomatoes. Here and there, a piece of potato that was  undercooked. It’s rare that food almost makes you cry. This really was a tragedy. We refused the offered dessert, even though at the beginning of the evening I had been looking forward to Pavlova. By the end of the night, I just wanted to leave. Two hundred euros — and you walk away frozen, hungry, and upset.

we had an outstanding dinner to celebrate my brothers Birthday. Everything was perfect, our host Dovainis was extremely attentive and rest of the team were brilliant too. Food was just wonderful. Amazing selection of meat, fish and puddings. Beautiful wine and digestifs. Thank you very much, we had amazing experience Will be back soon😀

We had premium dinner. Šarūnas chef is outstanding. All dishes were premium class. We tasted tartar, lamb chops and medium rare steak... Actually we are enjoying every bite and it was so delicious. This restaurant should be on the list of Michelin Guide or have a star... I am going back there, definitely
