I would not suggest this if you’re ordering a slight customization on the menu. It took them 25 mins to make a bagel - in not a busy time, with 2 members behind the counter - and even then, they added meat on it when I asked them a few times not to. At the 20 min mark they were just getting the eggs done (when we were the first customers to come in). I appreciate them making things fresh - but honestly - it takes me much lesser time doing this by myself while multitasking. The staff just needs a lot of training.

Tourists looking for touristy coffee shop. Tourist succeed in such endeavor. Got a bottle of cold brew and a nitro brew, plus other goodies from the little shop. Nitro was average, cold brew was delicious.

Food and coffee was good, but it took ridiculously long to get it. About 30 minutes in and we still haven’t gotten our croissant, and the latte took a good 15 minutes. Usually I don’t judge for wait times, but the place is not very busy and there’s little to no line. 8/17/25

A favorite of ours! The vibe is always chill, the beers on tap are great, and the sandwiches are tasty. Love to grab a bite then do a little shopping up front for tea & snacks!

Friendly staff but underwhelmed by the coffee and avocado toast for the price. Mocha had very little chocolate flavor and hazelnut syrup was also bland. The iced coffee had an unpleasant aftertaste. Avocado toast: I was hoping for real avocado but it seemed like a prepackaged spread.

Wow the smell in here is amazing! Made me hungry instantly. It’s a great shop with wonderful staff and has some areas featuring local art.

Always hopeful to find BETTER coffee, but this is not it. Unfortunately the coffee was bitter, the beans middle of the road ok. They have almond milk, only one bean type to choose from. It’s one of the ok places in Ithaca but not one of the best.

Press makes consistently wonderful lattes. I typically order oat milk and the texture is lovely--like drinking a cloud. Best place in town for a latte, hot or iced. They also have a cute little study space and outdoor seating.

Awesome shop great staff with interesting personality the coffee shop interior is smaller feels bigger on pictures but it worth checking out we got the Salted NYS Maple Latte on ice and a hot latte butterfly pea. we felt in love with the Salted Maple amazing drink!!

The matcha was premixed and mid for $6. .75 up charge for alt milk is pretty wild for the cost of everything. Black coffee is was good. Cup and lid leaked from immediately upon leaving the cafe

Had multiple tasty, more classic espressos in a relaxing atmosphere a few days in a row, all good. They also offer a few batch brew options. The single origin I tried was decent. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

I haven't had coffee here, but the hot cocoa was great. Place is pretty small inside - four 2-seater tables and a few higher chairs along the counter. Can sit outside when the weather is nice though, or get it to go. A few pastries for sale as well, and of course coffee, espresso, hot teas, lattes, hot cocoa. ADDED 1/22/23: New owners took over in December. The hours on Google were incorrect, and I got there after they closed, but the owner was still inside and let us in for a cup to go. Very friendly and kind.

Gimme is the best you can get in ITH - an institution that almost completely replaced Starbucks. If you lucky you will get a decent barrister... Beans are medium to dark roast - don't expect anything special - it is good enough.

This coffee shop ENCOURAGES customers to be more environmentally responsible by giving people discount when they bring their own mugs! So far, this is a very rare and precious practice in Ithaca, and I highly recommend people to go buy coffee at Gimme to support this practice (and its coffee is great 👍

Great great coffee! Always great coffee! My only gripe is it is over priced. If you are into coffee that is great but has a backstory like "War and Peace" and your paying for that coffee's backstory then this is the place for you!

Good coffee, they have options of dark and medium roast that are pretty good. They also have good pastries. It would have been nice if they have a larger selection of coffees, like pour over. Also it would have been nice if they had a selection of hot foods to offer.

Ordered a cappuccino which was completely flat with a thin layer of foam on top (as opposed to properly frothed/steamed). It was also scalding hot (AKA over-steamed) and I burned myself trying to drink it. Got a nova lox bagel ($13) and came out to be $17 after subbing for allergens, making one addition, and tax. The additional fees for subs seems excessive and borderline exploitive to people who require these accommodations to eat, especially when the sub ingredients are likely basement price/quality (basing this off the tofutti cream cheese, which is terrible), and in consideration to the fact these are NOT additions, but substitutions. I would say overall maybe try to incorporate allergy friendly ingredients without overpricing for them and train employees to actually make a drink properly so people are getting what they pay for instead of a hot mess (literally). I will say in light of this, the guy who helped me order my food was very easy to talk to and helpful, though he didn’t mention the additional fees for subs.

After a full morning of exploring Ithaca, wandering through Cornell University and chasing waters, we found ourselves a bit hungry. Collegetown Bagels and surrounding were the perfect stops. The area was quiet with school out of session, that only added to the charm. We enjoyed sitting outside and soaking in the calm summer vibes - just what we needed. CTB offers a great variety - bagels, creative sandwiches and assortment of drinks and tempting desserts. There’s definitely something for everyone here.

A lot of options and the ingredients seem pretty good. The taste of sandwiches were pretty average though. The guy at the counter seemed grumpy as well, which isn't the best interaction to start off your day in the morning. The delivery of our food was extremely slow even though we did not have people in front of us. Good location vibe and outdoor sitting.

The bagels are incredible! I also love that you can add various toppings like tomatoes and cucumbers. Please open one up in Ann Arbor, Michigan! Also would love one in Midtown Atlanta. OK, and in Royal Oak, Michigan please. The coffee was good also and so were the lattes perfect ratio of espresso to milk and when I asked for extra hot, the temperature was just right. In short, great place!

Not really a huge issue that you have to order food and drinks at different stations, but the staff’s attitude can make the process a little stressful if it’s your first time here. So basically, sandwiches and salads are at the very back of the restaurant, while soup and pastries are ordered at the counter in the middle of the hallway, and beers or other drinks are at the counter right by the entrance.

I ordered an everything bagel with bacon egg and ham, made sure to emphasize that I don’t want cheese because I am allergic to dairy. I also ordered chipotle aioli which I was charged extra for. I finally got my bagel 45 minutes after ordering and it was a plain bagel, had cheese on it, and had no chipotle aioli. Definitely not happy!

There are so many options from bagels to beverages, hot sandwiches to a cold case full of goodies. So many baked goods, and a great selection of oils and hot sauces that would make great gifts. Our food was great, everyone was friendly, and we’ll definitely stop in again when we visit the lakes.

We visited here multiple times over last weekend. Food, coffee, the Mexican bagel, and ended up buying 10 different marmalade flavors to gift to friends. This 100 year old bakery has something to offer to everyone. You can spend a quality time here growing the menu, their merchandise too.

Lots of options! Ordered the reuben and it was soo good!!! Place was very busy around 1030. Place has some parking. People are in and out so you should not have problem looking for a spot. Met some locals and were very nice to give us recommendation and tips for our hiking trip! A must visit if you are in town!

What a great place to get breakfast or lunch! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options which is a huge plus. Cheryl is super friendly at the cash register! She is such a sweet person! Would highly recommend this place.

Very yummy plain gluten free bagel with chicken sausage, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and egg. I didn’t have time to make breakfast and I’d never eaten here before. It was conveniently nearby my route to work after dropping off my rental car. It hit the spot. I’d definitely go back when I’m in Ithaca.

Excellent bakery/coffee shop/grocery store/sandwich shop with their own parking lot. Amazing people working here! We enjoyed mocchachino (they make decaf as well), croissants and grabbed fresh sourdough bread.

The food left a lot to be desired. Not a lot of flavor and the portion sizes were small. I felt there was more volume in the cup of coffee than the food. Also kinda disappointed to have it served in a take out container even though we were eating in the Cafe.

Expect to get judged if you don’t pay tips for nonexistent service! There was one time I ordered a coffee to go and didn’t pay tips, because I ordered at the counter and waited right there to pick up myself (It’s not like they took my order at the table and had to bring it to me and clean the table after me or anything.) Before the barista made my coffee, she was exchanging eye contact with the cashier. The cashier was frowning and waving her hand under the counter, which I assumed signaling her that I didn’t pay tips. The barista rolled her eyes, made the coffee, gave it to me with a terribly unpleased look and didn’t say a word. The worst experience ever! Though I liked their sweet potato hash from previous visits, I have never visited this place since then.

We were pleasantly surprised by how upscale this cafe was - the food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect! We got the Ranch Eggs meal, crepes, and a vanilla latte. Everything really hit the spot and I'd say the pricing makes sense for the quality you get there. We also sat outside, there were a lot of seating options to choose from. Will be back again!

A super cute cafe in a converted coal office building. They really lean into that heritage and have a lot of cool decorations and furniture that hail back to that era. The coffee and food are both very delicious and the staff are very friendly!

My family and I went here while visiting Cornell for a reunion and it did not disappoint. I would describe the cuisine as elevated diner food. For instance, my guest and I had the Quack Jacks — Johnny cake pancakes topped with the most perfectly cooked duck breast drizzled in a balsamic reduction. Although we didn’t get to try much else, the place was packed and bustling with customers so I am sure the rest of their menu is good! The restaurant also had a variety of very interesting coffee dishes in addition to your standard coffee and espresso-based drinks. I had their cafe niro, an orange flavored coffee espresso drink that was tasty but not overly sweet. We dined in. We found the dining room a bit tight given that we came with two kids and huge stroller but our waitress accommodate us by rearranging some tables. The restaurant also offers carry out which the majority of patrons (young college students) opted for. This place is a hidden gem with a unique history related to coal hence the name (no spoilers here). The menu lays it all out. I have added this place to my must visit Ithaca/Cornell list. I highly recommend!

This is an adorable cafe on the corner with incredible coffee and lovely service. The matcha latte is not sweet (thank you!) unless you make it sweet, the hot chocolate is rich and reminiscent of the chocolatey-ness of ice cream without being too sweet. The seasonal rose almond latte is truly divine!!! Love that they have soy milk too, it's hard to find! The morning-glory vegan muffin is delicious - full of fruit chunks!

I really love the matcha latte with oat milk here because it isn’t too sweet and has plenty of matcha flavor. The pastries are really good and the staff are wonderful. I love stopping here on my walks and it’s a really cozy place to hang out!

A few things I love about Gimme: they have soy milk (my favorite!!), their pumpkin spice is house-made & doesn't have dairy in it (like most coffee shops that use the Torani sauce or similar), and they're unbelievably speedy?! There will be a huge line but once I order, my drink is ready in like a minute I don't get it! They're pretty expensive but I think it's worth it imo.. their drinks are great & they even have vegan pastries. I'd like to support that! :)

I stopped in at Gimme! Coffee after a short walk from the Hilton Garden Inn. The barista is well-trained and pulled a perfect shot for my Americano. They had an excellent selection of pastries that looked tasty. There is seating outside and inside. I would definitely recommend Gimme! Coffee!!

Employees here were pretty sweet! Also a big fan of the coffee was quite the fine latte. Delicious and quality beans. Parmesan Leek Croissant is in a whole ‘nother league. All the pastries are actually pretty good.

I ate here based on Google reviews. I was not impressed. When I arrived at 9:30 am it was not busy but the service was very slow. My server was inattentive and didn’t express any interest in my wellbeing. My food was delivered so slowly that I had to rush to eat and then hustled to the register to pay because I knew that my one-hour parking meter was nearly expired. I was parked less than five minutes from the cafe, so you can see it took me 50 minutes to get my meal, pay and rush to my vehicle. I had three minutes spare. Google directions are inadequate. The photo shows there is no signage only for the cafe. When you go through the entrance you need to take the stairs down and then walk ahead. There is a funny smell in the lower level where the cafe is.

Wonderful staff, cool location and general vibes (love the fish tanks), and delicious food. The Kai omlette with sourdough toast was excellent. The kitchen easily and effectively handled my wife's dietary demands around celiac disease. Reasonably priced to boot! Will absolutely return. Great job all around! Thanks!

Oatmeal was loaded with pecans and currents, delicious cinnamon spicy layer between bowl and oatmeal. If you like oatmeal I would highly recommend this. Arrived at opening time (8:30), but they were off to a slow start. Specials not available until 10. Woman at checkout was pleasant and helpful. Waitress was somewhat efficient but didn't seem happy to be there.

Great place. Everything was delicious, especially the tomato chutney. The drip coffee was much better than you’d expect from a diner. They buy it from a local roaster. Great experience. Very friendly.

Had a delicious brunch with friends on a Sunday morning. Staff was fantastic and attentive. Food was excellent and fast. We had a group six and everything was spot on! I ordered the pecan waffle special. This waffle was wonderful...made with browned butter, topped with chantilly cream, toasted pecans, and drizzled with maple syrup! Yummy! Featured in the photos are items that our table ordered: Waffle Special, Eggs Benedict, and the Omelet Special. Will definitely return! What a gem. FYI - cash or check only.

I live right nearby and love their service and locally-sourced food. Food is good, selection nothing too amazing, but just really solid. Free coffee refills are a plus! It's no wonder there's always a huge line during weekends. Staff are friendly, though service is not very fast. Plan for a little extra time to finish up a meal here.

Got "The Denny" takeaway here today and highly recommend. Brekky sandwich was perfectly made with fresh ingredients, soft yummy bread and the flavors were yum. Absolutely will be going back to sit down and try the rest of the menu.

I was looking for a cafe that sells matcha in Ithaca. I found this place from the reviews. It was delicious. The atmosphere of the shop is spacious and comfortable. I like it very much.

I’m a regular customer at Gimme Coffee and usually enjoy my drinks here. Today, however, I had a very disappointing experience. I ordered two drinks as usual — one iced latte and one hot latte — and clearly told the cashier I wanted oat milk, which is what I always get. Unfortunately, they did not use oat milk today. While I was standing near the counter, I saw the barista pour regular milk into the iced latte. Immediately, a lot of white curdled floaters appeared on top. I overheard the barista say to another staff member, “I don’t know why I poured this,” and then she proceeded to scoop out the floating curds with a spoon instead of remaking the drink. After that, she simply added ice and handed it to me. When I drank it, I could still see and taste the spoiled milk particles. It didn’t feel right, so I searched online and confirmed that this is a common sign of expired milk. This was disappointing, especially from a place I’ve supported often. I hope the team can take better care with ingredients and remake drinks properly when something is clearly wrong. Serving spoiled milk is not acceptable.

Coffee much more watery (weaker) than it was made just one year ago and the years prior. I have had four cups from here over the past several days hoping I was mistaken but unfortunately, not so. Not such a great cup of coffee here anymore at N. Cayuga location. Outdoor seating is nice if you can catch a table or bench. Customer service is lovely and efficient.

Appreciate that Gimme is still thriving as a local, small coffee shop. Good coffee and pastry items. I will say, I miss the old interior. I find the new inside of the MLK location a bit off-putting -- less cozy without individual tables or warmer lighting. I wish seasonal and specialty drinks were also publicized more regularly on social media; it can feel a bit awkward having to wait until you're at the register to see the list.

Homey, no-nonsense place half a block away from Ithaca Falls. My partner wanted to fuel before a long bike ride so we got the pancakes and eggs with hash. The pancakes were wonderful! Thanks so much for the satisfying meal.

A quirky neighborhood spot where the regulars all know each other, the breakfasts and burgers are great, and daily homestyle specials range from very good to amazing. Fish fry on Fridays, chili dogs most Thursdays, fresh roast turkey dinners frequently, creative chicken salad, etc. Breakfast is limited for weekday lunch hours; no griddle items. Saturday is breakfast items only. You may have to wait for a table. It’s worth it.

The best things in life are worth waiting for and you can expect a slight wait a this popular, homestyle diner. Our server was very friendly and kept our coffee cups full throughout our visit. The Ziffy Omelette was a generous portion and we enjoyed the local hot sauce provided. It is a bustling spot which we will surely visit again when we come back through Ithaca.

This place is just very nice. The food is very good, prepared just behind the counter, in view of everyone. Their service is very small town feeling and a lot of locals come here. I’ve been coming for a couple of years and enjoy it every time.

Just left this diner that was recommended to us to try. We are visiting from the Adirondacks and WOW if you have not been here I highly recommend. The whole experience was A+ from the service to the food. They did not stop serving or cooking. The diner was packed as people leave more came in. Had a nice conversation with a couple from here also. We will definitely be back!!!!

I got the chicken pesto ciabatta with the tomato soup and my girlfriend got the broccoli cheddar soup. The bread was toasted to perfection and the soup was delicious. I got a little crazy and dipped the sandwich in the tomato soup and the broccoli cheddar soup and it was incredible. I’ve been here many times and this was certainly one of the best meals that’s I’ve had at this location.

I eat Panera a lot, but this store NEVER give you correct item, no matter for in store or delivery. Last time they even forget to give me steak. I ordered about 10 times and there was not even one time I got my order fully correct.

Good food. Love it. Usually short handed so things take a very long time, and the staff are so rushed they don't make eye contacts or make conversation. Poor people are making meals and on to the next. The chicken Mediterranean bowl is delicious.

A must try in Ithaca area! We stopped by after eating dinner at a close by Thai place. There is a wide variety of dessert and other menu items here. We tried coffee bread, Tiramisu and a chocolate cake slice. Loved everything, though Coffee bread was the best I ever had.

Such a cute bakery and cafe. It's an awesome place for dates and for bringing friends from out of town. Some people go there to sit and work which does admittedly put a damper on conversation, but it's absolutely still worth the stop. Get cozy and check out the window seating--it's great for people watching. You get a beautiful view of the Commons, especially when it's snowing!

The coffees tasted great. There is a wide variety of dessert and other menu items here. The coffee bun was really good. It was slightly sweet, with a touch of coffee flavor surrounding the bun. Similarly, the ganache cream cake slice was good as well. Will definitely come again and try out other dessert items on the menu.

This Paris baguette is good as any other, and I like them. Prices are not too high, especially for Ithaca downtown, many seats inside, friendly staff, tasty food. I had pistachio supreme croissant and strawberry smoothie, liked them both. You can also find there some breakfast food and salads if you don't want something sweet

My first review was nice two months before. But yesterday’s Ramen was not good, shrimp 🍤 was only 4, and overall taste was not good. Moreover, loud conversations/disagreement between staffs were very uncomfortable. 😕 Review before two months: Had chicken dumplings and their Taichi 🧋. Both were ok. The sauce with dumplings were too spicy, peppery for me! I missed the Helsinki’s Zhao tea’s Rice mochi 🧋 with tea 😌, hope you will consider (if possible to add). Thanks!

This was not a bad spot, the food was alright but the girl behind the register was a bit dismissive. I often forget how unpleasant it can be interacting with people in these small franchises. The other location I went to, in Vestal, had a working kiosk of a different brand, where I could see and read what all the different items and options were. It makes it easier to understand exactly what it will look like to decide if that’s what you wanted and then it sends the order in. The cashier was rude when we were ordering a salad bowl and wanted to add rice. Many poke bowl places allow you to do half and half or mix it in someway. She didn’t seem aware of that and had an attitude and told us to just pick one. The food we got was tasty but I could’ve done without the attitude. In fact, had you utilized kiosks that worked, you could’ve saved money by not having her working there at all.

I've been here a few times and the boba tea is amazing, but their ramen is top notch. I asked the staff what I should try for my second time getting ramen here, and the spicy miso ramen with pork was delicious!

Sushi burrito with fresh spicy tuna and spicy salmon was my go to! This place also serves milk tea, etc.

Great experience! I ordered a rice bowl with raw tuna as my protein and various toppings. Everything was so fresh. I asked for sauce on the side. Accidentally, they put some sauce on it and they immediately checked with me to see if it was okay. They even gave me extra sauces. I did not order any drinks, so I cannot comment on that. I will definitely return here in the future. My daughter loves Boba tea, so I would like to bring her here one day. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The decor was nice and there were various seating options. Update: the mango sauce is my favorite.

Had rice bowls which the food was pretty good but it took a half hour to prepare and the girls up front with the tea area were basically just fooling around as there were very few people there. The cost was nuts too at $43.00 for two rice bowls, two sparkling waters and a tip. Won't be going back. I didn't like the vibe at all.

Delightful breakfast/dessert/coffee spot in Ithaca, New York. We had read that they have some of the best breakfast sandwiches in the town.... and they did not disappoint! Ordered a couple of breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burrito (possibly large enough to feed 2 adults) and a couple of coffee options. The bagels for the sandwiches were smaller than we are used to in New York, but they were fresh and delicious. The food menu was not extensive, but all looked like good choices. The drink menu was pretty extensive. Service was friendly and quick. It looks like they are open Wednesday through Sunday. We were there on a Sunday morning and they were busy. There were a few tables on the sidewalk and then a decent number of tables inside. I did not order the avocado toast, but it looked amazing...

I recently visited this place with high expectations, only to leave disappointed. Here’s what I ordered and my thoughts on each item: Coffee: I opted for a large decaf coffee, which turned out to be below average. It was watered down, lacking the robust flavor one expects. There was no balance between the espresso shots and the water, making even McDonald's coffee seem stronger and tastier by comparison. Tea: The tea was the only redeeming part of my order. It was a black tea with rose, and it was quite enjoyable. Avocado Toast: This was the biggest letdown. The avocado paste (consistency of baby food) barely covered the bread and seemed to come from a tube or package, almost certainly previously frozen. The flavor was almost nonexistent, with only the marinated onions providing any taste. These onions, while the best part, couldn't save the dish. The toast was bland, with the avocado paste being the cheapest quality one could find at a grocery store. Overall, the avocado toast was one of the worst I've had, not worth the money at all. Given the number of alternative options in the neighborhood, I’m baffled by the high ratings this place receives. I felt misled by the description; this wasn’t avocado toast, but more like baby food smeared on bread. I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience. Save your money and try one of the many other breakfast spots in the area.

Best cold brew in the Ithaca Commons, no doubt. The Pacific breakfast sandwich was amazing! perfect combo of sweet and savory (I added Chalula hot sauce to it and it was amazing). The staff were all very friendly and kind, and the atmosphere was really nice. Highly recommend!

Visited Ithica this week and found this perfectly located coffee spot. The coffee was coffee, hot and tasted like coffee, just how I like it. But, the breakfast sandwiches were next level. The default egg on their sandwiches is over easy, which works out awesome and is not as messy as you'd think. They do ask if you're ok with that or would like it cooked any other way. My favorite was the Melrose. It had so much flavor for a breakfast sandwich. The employees are very freindly and the ambiance is the perfect mix of darkness and light.

Hound and Mare is a coffee shop with a nice ambiance and a rustic/urban warehouse feel off the downtown commons in Ithaca. I’ve been looking for a coffee shop with great breakfast food in Ithaca, and this place definitely fits the bill. If you’re looking for something a bit more gourmet, but still in a relaxed environment this is the place to go. There are plenty of food and drink options to choose from which are creative. It was also nice to hear Adele playing in the shop, one of my favorite artists! I got a lavender latte (which was flavored just right - not pictured but delicious) and the breakfast burrito. It comes with homemade salsa that has the right balance of acidity and kick. It was also a very generous portion size. My husband got the Maple Latte, iced, and the Melrose sandwich which is a bagel sandwich with bacon, fried egg, cheese crisp (which is really good), and he added roasted tomatoes. Definitely a tasty bagel sandwich! We also tried a couple of the pastries which were also well done - the scallion cheddar scone and the pumpkin cream cheese muffin which wasn’t too sweet. Would definitely come again!

It took me a couple of times going here to realize I think anyone is better off going anywhere else, like Collegetown bagels right down street. There’s a wonderful place called Dolce Delight just outside of downtown. The first time service was great, other 2 times not at all friendly and it was a different person each interaction. Don’t get the steak, it’s rubbery, tastes like Taco Bell and looks like a McDonald’s patty. I took one bite out of it and it had something stringy coming out of it, that was enough for me to throw it out. The people who work there now just don’t seem happy but if you don’t mind having shitty interactions with where you’re spending money and having to tip then hey more power to you. I also did not get asked what kind of milk I wanted in my coffee and that was a bummer once I realized after the coffee was made and given to me, but I was in a rush.

We stopped by for a normal breakfast and coffee before heading out of town and were blown away by the Hound and Mare! Their signature coffees were spectacular - especially their fall themed drinks. The bagels were fresh and the sandwiches were made quickly and tasted delicious! We ordered pretty early in the morning, and by the time we left, there was a line almost out the door!

Great place to study or snack when you are stressed about school for Cornell students. Love cats and love cat cafes bc they will hopefully get a forever home! Thank you alley cat cafes for loving cats. Fun place to relax and play. It’s only $10 per hour and you can do 30 min for $5. Great deal for a college student budget.

One of my favorite spots in Ithaca. LOVE the cozy chairs by the window. Cute decor, delicious tiramisu that was freshly cut when I arrived. The cats are the cutest, and it's great to support a cafe partnered with a rescue. I especially loved Marigold the resident cat and the book of cats who have been adopted. Awesome place to stop for a treat, study, or hang out with some sweet kitties. Good prices too! Bungus decided I was her enemy but its ok because shes precious. 🐈❤️

First time coming here and I was immediately greeted by Queen Marigold who led to me to the room full of kittens! She was a sweetheart, all of them were! Most of them were sleeping so I didn't disturb them but when I got some toys out to play with the adults, that's when some of the kittens started to wake up. The little tiger I love so much, I'd adopt him if I could! He just wanted me to keep petting him, he was just purring and softly meowing, and I played with him too but he then snagged the toy right off of the pole! Such a playful kitten he is, I'll have to make another visit! All of the cats were friendly, of course some did get a little hostile towards others but not really in a fighting way due to the catnip toys so be mindful that they are cats and will do what cats do. I did get one of the espressos as well before I left and it tastes amazing, only about $6, and it's $5 for 30 minutes to visit the cats so that's not really bad and the money goes towards the cats too! I highly recommend stopping in, especially if you're looking to adopt then take a visit here first because there's plenty of kittens looking for a home.

Please visit this adorable Cafe and adopt a cat if you are dedicated to loving cats. We had a great time here and if my sister and I didn't already have 12 cats between the 2 of us, we would have taken hone 2 or 3 of these lovey babies.

This was my first time visiting this cat café with my boyfriend. We came in from New York City and had high expectations based on the 4.5-star reviews and photos. Unfortunately, our experience on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, between 3:37–4:15 PM was very disappointing. After paying for drinks and the 30-minute fee to spend time with the cats, we immediately noticed that the cat room smelled bad, and the furniture and toys didn’t seem well-cleaned or maintained. What really concerned us, however, was the treatment of one of the kittens. While we were playing with one of the larger cats, a small black kitten tried to join in, but the larger cat hit the kitten, and we later realized that the black kitten was actually being bullied by multiple cats. At one point, another large cat snuck up behind the kitten and hit it, leaving the kitten visibly scared and shaken. A staff member with long black hair, wearing a gray sweater and leggings, briefly stepped in and told one of the cats to leave the kitten alone, but she didn’t remove the aggressor or ensure the black kitten was safe. Later, when we notified another staff member at the register (fair-skinned, red hair tied up, wearing a floral shirt and jeans), her response was very concerning. She said, “Oh yea, we know, we find it funny.” This made it clear that the staff has been aware of the bullying but chooses not to address it. In other cat cafés I’ve visited, the staff are quick to step in, separate cats if needed, and make sure all of them feel safe. Here, not all the cats had a safe space, and it seemed like some were neglected. Based on what we experienced, the staff came across as irresponsible, and the environment didn’t feel caring toward the cats’ well-being. Absolutely lovely cat cafe in the *perfect* location. Obviously the cats are the highlight but everything else was wonderful as well! Comfortable seating in with the cats...my drink was made quickly and wonderfully. Kristen was a gracious host and very kind!

Enjoyed some grilled cheese and hot chocolate on a rainy day. Spent some time with the cats. Would have gone home with one if it wasn’t our first day of our trip in the area.

Bubble tea was good. The place is pretty small and the business seems to still be unpacking - still boxes on the floor. Some of the seats were ripped and looked pretty old. Large menu selection and if you're not hoping to sit there and hang out, then definitely try it out for the tea. Atmosphere/seating isn't great if you are looking for a place to hang out for a while or work on laptop or something.

Ran out of boba -1 star (I ordered 15 mins before close but still unacceptable). Took too long -1 star. Strawberry milk tea was immaculate

Delicious Tea and Slush drinks, but the service is a little on the lacking side. Other's drinks were sitting on the counter before the order taker took charge in finding them.

Given it's a chain, KFT has consistently good flavors (especially for those with a sweet tooth). This location recently reorganized their layout so there is more seating space, but during peak times can feel quite crowded. Mobile orders are very convenient and orders are generally made quite quickly unless it is during peak hours.

The boba tea is amazing! I loved it! The service is great, they were very polite and nice. They have an unique flavor!

My absolute favorite boba chain! Menu is easy to understand, you can customize the sugar level and the amount of boba in your drink. The rose hip milk tea is my all time favorite drink ever. The location is very convenient to many restaurants right outside Cornell University. The staff here are always nice and they're very efficient. Check hours ahead of time because sometimes this shop closes during the school off season. But I come here every time I'm in Ithaca and if I'm in a different town I seek out kung fu tea.

Best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. There lattes are amazing. I have celiac disease and love there trail mix bars! They are so so good, and I know they are safe for me to eat. 10/10 by far my favorite place, worth trying!

Great coffee shop! Nicely plant themed and the service is good. The coffee was solid as well, a 7.6 flat white. The best part of it was being able to take a coffee 5 mins walk to the nearby Ithaca Falls and enjoy a coffee by the waterfall - perfect!

Honestly a great example of the classic local coffee shop. Delicious bread (and a great selection) and from what I have heard (didn't get to try since they sold out) some of the best baked goods around. The scones and cinnamon buns are the stars for sure.

Their chai is really really weak, tastes like barely flavored milk. Definitely don’t get it, worst chai I’ve had in years. But their scones are really good, 5/5 scones!

I visited twice. Didn't care for the turmeric latte. Ordered a large size to enjoy in the lobby but they only have small sized cups... would be nice to have larger cups for guests to enjoy coffee in the beautiful lobby. Tried a scone and it was delish. Also, offering more syrup flavors would be amenable too

Okay, this place is absolutely adorable. The plants are charming, the windows make the atmosphere bright and refreshing. The downside: the few times I’ve visited, the coffee has tasted burnt/over extracted (this past time, it was a cortado). It’s a bit harsh of a flavor and disappointing- I really want to love this place more. Maybe they can adjust their process a bit.

Lovely coffee shop. Overflowing with plants which creates a beautiful atmosphere to work, read or just relax while you drink your coffee. The inside is not dog friendly, but there was an outdoor patio with a water bowl which was nice! The staff were very friendly, as well.

The hotel was super cozy and quaint. The staff were great. Breakfast was a waste of time, just Carbs like cereal, bagels and muffins. Was hoping for some fruit or vegetables or something with protein - boiled eggs etc. The cocktails were not great, the waitress was lovely but the drinks were not. The rooms were nice, nothing special but clean and large sized. The surrounding area is so beautiful and fresh. They had a bit of a communication issue with the fire camping lodge regarding activities (but assured me they are working on it.) The breakfast down there looked great! Anyways, would have loved yo have stayed a week or two and just relax, the spa, although simple was pleasant. The treatment was great but there's no pool jacuzzi sauna etc. On the premises.

My wife and I went here to celebrate her birthday. The rooms were good, but not special. The grounds are beautiful, with a pathway leading to Buttermilk Falls SP. They have a restaurant/bar in the hotel, but it seemed rather pricey. The spa experience was amazing, as we had our best couples massage ever.

My husband and I did a two night stay and wish we stayed longer. The hotel was not the fanciest hotel we ever stayed at but it was charming and way better then we expected. The bed was seriously the most comfortable bed, my husband and I were really impressed. We are not small people and both have neck/back issues and the bed made you want to sleep in. We booked the Deluxe King room that came with a balcony, big bathroom with large tub, and fireplace. The room a/c was extremely cold which we appreciated during summer. If I had to say anything negative, the balcony was pretty small (2 chairs turned sideways was all it would fit) but the garden view was gorgeous. They did have a continental breakfast in the morning which came with our booking or you could pay $7. The breakfast was okay..the usual bagel, muffins, some cereal, juice/coffee, nothing too exciting but I believe they have plans to extend their food service in the future. If we had more time, we would have tried out the spa services and visited the bar/lounge room at night. Overall, we think this place was worth the money and would definitely book here again.

Hotel is very nice and so are the front desk and housekeeping staff. The “new” restaurant however was a disappointment at every turn. The waiter seemed totally out of his depth. A signature cocktail tasted foul - clearly an imbalance of ingredients or some other mistake. The food, when it finally arrived, was “a bit off” according to one of my dinner companions. My dish, a chicken thigh dish with yogurt based dressing, was acceptable, but nothing special. Menu options were limited and everything was way over priced. Over $250 for a table of 6 people where most of the group had burgers or just an appetizer. We returned to this hotel because last year, we had an exceptional experience at the previous restaurant and the Spa. The Spa is still terrific and the hotel staff and facilities are just fine. My advice is to avoid the restaurant completely. It brought down our entire experience, particularly since we know they can do so much better.

This hotel was extremely quaint and cozy. All the ladies at the front desk were amazing, but especially the lady who works in the afternoons/evenings. I just loved her personality! I also like that the location felt almost remote, but was still close to downtown. The view in my room was gorgeous, especially at sunset. The room itself was spacious and cozy, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was the biggest bathroom I've ever seen in a hotel. It felt very luxurious to me. I wish I had time to stay longer so I could have had time to go to the spa. If we ever visit upstate New York again I will be going to this hotel.

Came here with my wife for her 30th birthday. Great hotel! Clean, good service, conveniently located for a getaway to Ithaca. The property is beautiful and spacious. The spa was awesome. Both of us agree it was one of the best massages we ever had. Would come back if we’re ever in the area.

Absolutely stunning hotel and phenomenal food. I stayed here for both my college orientation and commencement with my family. It is such a hidden gem in the Finger Lakes area!

Had a Thai milk tea. The tea is surprisingly good, not as artificial as a lot of other tea stores I’ve been to. Boba is pretty solid as well.

I love U Tea, I come here often, especially during summer since its only a 15 minute walk my place. I almost always get Thai Iced Tea with boba. If I could recommend, it would be that. Their other drinks are good though, but some can be a little too milky for my taste. The atmosphere is cozy, but often times there are not enough seats for everyone, and you usually just have to be lucky. If you’re looking for a quick grab and go, this is the place as you can be in and out within a minute.

It’s okay bubble tea. I’ve tried better but there is not that many options of boba in Ithaca and this one is decent one that we’ve tried Place was empty when we visited in July but I guess that it’s focused on students so it makes sense that it’s empty during summer

I love the bubble tea here! I ordered the Taro Milk Tea with boba and I was obsessed! I went with my parents and tried their drinks(Thai tea and the mango coconut jelly drink) and they were both so good! Everything was under $10 and definitely affordable! On the cup of the bubble tea, there is a cute mini red heart decoration and I love it ❤️

This place definitely tries but not quite hard enough. So many bubble tea places to choose from on the same block. A good alternative if you really need bubble tea.

My family was visiting the Finger Lakes for a family vacation and happened to be celebrating three birthdays that week. We ordered three cakes from Rashida Sawyer Bakery and they were all home runs. - first we had the cheesecake. Since it was for an 80 year old, I didn’t get the walnut crust. But everyone agreed it was one of the best cheesecakes we had ever had. - two days later we ordered a 9” two layer strawberry cake. Excellent! But what really was the talk of the dinner table was the dinner rolls. They look like biscuits but tasted like excellent dinner rolls. Everyone was wanting to toast the leftover rolls the next day for breakfast! - finally was had a 6” Black Forest cake two days after that. Again, an outstanding cake! Trust the rating for this bakery … it’s well deserved! I ordered all three cakes at once and although it was for three different days, the bakery managed this well and professionally!

Rashida Sawyer Bakery you did not disappoint! Not only was the chocolate swirl cheesecake amazing, the customer service was exceptional! Can't wait to try the cherry cheesecake and fruit tart we snagged for the trip back to Iowa! I have to agree with the reviews and word on the street. Best cheesecake I've ever had! Great way to end our time in New York. Thank you! We will definitely be ordering to have more shipped. 😋

I’ve been coming to Rashida Sawyer Bakery for years now. I was ecstatic to see you now have a stand at the Farmer’s Market, and decided to write my long overdue review. Wonderful service, and its so nice that the owner and family often work up front. The cakes are outstanding, especially the pound cake, which is moist and has a slightly crackly golden exterior. I’ve gotten my birthday cake here for the past couple of years, and the red velvet cake is moist and decadent with delicious cream cheese frosting. The star, of course, is the cheesecake. Putting nuts in a graham cracker crust is a stroke of genius, the filling is creamy and tangy, and the fruit always tastes fresh and doesn't have the goopy texture fruit toppings often do. I cannot say enough good things, and I’m so glad we have such a nice family business in Ithaca. Highly recommend getting dinner at Diamond‘s next door and stopping by Rashida’s for dessert.

Truly something for everyone. My son is allergic to milk and even here in Ithaca it can be hard to find a good dessert. They have dairy free cupcakes here and they’re absolutely delicious and more than one variety offered. Sorry no pictures of the cupcakes, we ate them too fast!

Great baked good here! I highly reccomend the fruit tarts and carrot cake! Some of the best I've ever had!! We order here often for events and get nothing but complements.

I got this cake for my boyfriends graduation party at his axe throwing business. Thank you for this delicious cake! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a cake. It was all eaten up by the end of the night. Our family and friends loved it and kept asking where I got this cake! I requested the perfect chocolate icing and a chocolate flavored cake. They even made sure the Ithaca college topper was perfect for us. once again thank you so much!!

Wow -- my daughter chose a chocolate-drizzled cheesecake for her birthday cake and it turned out to be the best cheesecake of my life! Wonderful, kind service, nice presentation (printed cake topper from my photos is from home, not from the bakery), and A+ quality -- Rashida knows what she's doing! We now have a better place than Wegmans or Ithaca Baker to get cakes for future celebrations, and proud to be supporting a black-owned business in Ithaca. Highly recommended!!

Really cool place, all vegan, tasty, decently priced food. A bit understaffed when I went, food took a while. The mac n cheese with bbq soy curls (must add!) was good but a bit overwhelmingly huge. could have had it half the size and a slightly cheaper price. good pastries. Top floor above the book store. Board games available.

Great little cafe right above an equally awesome bookshop. We ordered "the borger" and the "chicun quesadilla" along with a turmeric latte. Everything tasted delicious. The workers were very polite, a pleasure to speak with, and they used gloves! An all around excellent experience.

I've been here a few times and had a great experience each time. The place is great for any vegetarian and vegan, but also enough to satisfy any meat eater.

Really lovely hole in the wall. The cafe sits above a book store and is entirely vegan, yay! The woman that owns and works the place was kind, as well. I ordered the buffalo quesadilla (YUM) and my mom ordered the reuben sandwich (also YUM). Great spot to grab lunch and read a book if you're interested.

Fantastic!!!! I’ve been 5 times already and the service is pristine and filled with love! I recently went gluten free and soy free and the owner made a cake special when I asked, and asked for my number to call me when it was made SO KIND 😭 But such an amazing experience eating here The buffalo quesadilla is delish and can be made gluten free! Also the salads, the Risa sunset smoothie and of course THE CARROT CAKE (fresh out of the oven) 😍

One star only cause I had to.. I don't normally complain but today was the icing on the cake. All the time my drinks are being messed up lately, rude service, etc. But this morning in drive throw I had a nasty human either a bad attitude and body language to match. I just gave my drink back and said I am done with this place. Mind you I work all day everyday do I spend a lot of money here about 200/300 a week my points speak for themselves. So I talk to the manager another young lady and said what was going on and she show lack of concern and blew it off. So yup my money will not help rude people get a paycheck. ....... gladly go else where

[Baristas: 5 stars. Company: 1 star.] Hard to get excited about Starbucks anymore because of how the company has handled unionization. I've had consistently great experiences with the baristas who work hard around the clock and have gone out of their way to help me (once I spilled my drink and they replaced it). But I've had poor experiences with the Starbucks app and the company operations. The biggest issue was when I realized tips I was adding via the app weren't going to the baristas. I don't know where the disconnect was, but in ethical operations, you'd make sure money is transparently flowing to the places consumers are sending it.

As far as Starbucks go this is a good one. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a good assortment of baked goods and merchandise to sell. There is limited seating so don't except to find a seat at busy time of day! The big downside is you have to get the key from the staff and go out into the hall to use the restroom. It is like a hotel card key you need to swipe.

I don't regularly go to Starbucks, but needed a pick-me-up and this was a good option. This Starbucks in particular had the quickest service of any Starbucks I've ever been to. Normally, when I have gone to Starbucks in the past it is always packed with people waiting forever for their beverage, but the service here was so quick despite the time of day or amount of people.

Hit or miss for sure. This location can get really crowded. Some baristas are very friendly, others couldn’t care less. Last time I went, there was a mistake on my mobile order and I made eye contact and said hi to the barista twice and was still ignored and then she was snarky when I asked politely for a change. Kind of frustrating because I had to turn back and park again only to be greeted by that. The cashier on the other hand was a delight. Good place to stop if passing through Ithaca, just mobile order in advance!

I live this place. When I didn't have money to pay for my drink they held the order until I did. They person that made my drink, absolutely love them. The girl that took my o see was very helpful in recommending a drink for me to try. Beautiful work.

Food is expensive, bought myself a bacon egg and cheese sandwich: I watched them microwave the bacon, and then they completely forgot to put cheese on it. Also doesn’t accept BRBs for some reason. Will not be returning here

If I could spend every day here, I totally would - the people who work there are amazing (so helpful, kind, down-to-earth), the food is wholesome, natural, and fresh, and everything is labeled so regardless of your dietary needs, you can find something that is delicious. The ONLY thing that could be improved is perhaps the price, but I think that it's more expensive to eat locally-grown/fresh foods and I don't really mind paying a few dollars extra to get food that is good for me. Thank you for being my favorite cafe at Cornell! You guys are super. :)

This place is great if you want a quick coffee, burrito, or curry (on Fridays). Beware of other foods, though. Their eggs seem rehydrated and microwaved. Can't fault them for cutting corners, but can't give them 5 stars for it.

Great burritos. And the Friday Curry is a great lunch option. Good quality local ingredients that make a taste difference. Never heavy!

Yesterday. Bought a food item for my child. Asked for the largest cup of ice water. Lady kept telling me to get water from target cups. I told her those cups were too small for what I needed, and that I needed a water from Starbucks because it also has a lid. I was willing to pay for the cup, no problem. The Starbucks employee kept telling me to just go get the target cup. I repeated myself and my needs. I have been a long time Starbucks drinker!! Finally she slammed down on the counter the smallest cup Starbucks had. She was extremely rude. The other staff who filled up the water for me again put the cup down in an abrupt manner, and wouldn’t look at me or acknowledge me when I said thank you. These Starbucks staff are rude and have no class. The staff act as though it is them against the customers as though they were a pack defending themselves. I know they are busy, but really - if you can’t handle a customer service position in a professional way - you probably find somewhere else to be than in that type of position. The staff were EXTREMELY rude and EXTREMELY unprofessional.

The staff is nice but only one person is working. She has to take one order and make one and then take the next order. Very stressful. Feel bad for the staff working here. So the line is always long too, since this place don’t take mobile order. It took much longer than I expected.

The people working here are always very nice, but they are understaffed and their coffee is always stale. I started ordering Americanos because I knew they would be fresh. Then I didn't go for a long time and forgot, returned and ordered a Venti coffee, and it was stale. $3.50 for stale coffee. It's symbolic of all of Ithaca, really.

Love that the cashier has to explain management watches them to make sure no water cups are given out but cant staff more than one individual at a time during the am.

The service is always great but I’ve been to this location many times and each time there has never been more than two people working and always a very long line. You need to start adding more people because this isn’t fair to this poor workers

I had a great experience here. My drink is absolutely delicious and the staff were the sweetest people. The woman who made my drink gave me a compliment that made my whole day. Never fail to be impressed by this location 😊

Really good, fresh and thick açaí bowls. I will say the cafe is rather small with only two tables but everything else is great! I recommend if ur in the mood for a quick grab of coffee or bowls.

Really cute coffee/acai/juice shop!! They make their acai base fresh each day and also make their own clean granola! The staff was very nice as well. I got a detox juice and the breakfast at tiffanys acai bowl! It was really good and hit the soot on a warm day.

I’m a Chatty Cathy die hard… used to be obsessed with this place back in college, and as soon as I moved back to Ithaca I was thrilled to have access to their açaí bowls again. Also, the staff is so sweet!!!

First time visiting and wow amazed by the food and the level of service!! The asian kid and (not sure what his name is) and wally(?) was really kind and helpful super fast with the orders too. New favorite place in ithaca!!! 🍀💗💗

Been coming here for a while now, the acai bowls have gotten me through some of my worst college days! I recommend the Par-yay bowl, it’s sooososo good

🍵💕 Love this spot, likely because it reminds me of Miami. 🌴🌊 Stopped in on lunch break for a Money Moves parfait and a matcha latte. This is my go to place for a quick healthy option. The staff is warm and welcoming, they have plenty of cafe, smoothies, and açaí bowls to choose from. And if açaí isn’t your thing you can swap for yogurt or oats as a base instead. The shop itself is small, with two tables to sit at with a 30 minute limit. It’s more of a dine and dash place but the orange and white striped walls and bench seats are inviting. Highly recommend!

Was hoping to love this place and it was meh. Ordered a coffee and an acai bowl. Staff was nice. No seating which was unfortunate. I realize it's because there's no room (not their fault the building is tiny) but it's not really appealing to have to eat in your car. For the high price compared to the small size of the bowl, I was astounded. The coffee alone was $4! The bowl was maybe a 6/10, but the tiny size of the container made it impossible to mix anything, so the nut butter just sat in a lump on top. Menu selection was pretty small so I felt like I settled. I've been to dozens of juice bars; overall I found this one underwhelming.

I usually come here and workers are always respectful and polite but today morning was the worst, I usually don’t have time to drink my chai latte through out the day at work which I asked today for light ice so it wont be watered down, I understand it will be given a bit less than usual but NOT close to half the cup. At first they filled the whole cup with ice which I reminded the lady I asked for light ice, The lady was being very disrespectful and nasty and was talking to me like I was her child, then she took the ice out and left my drink like this. My boyfriend got a regular iced latte which is the last picture and as you can see the ice is half the cup and I got more ice than him at first. I understand workers have a bad day too but that doesn’t give them the right for them to treat us like garbage. This is disappointing and hopefully it doesn’t happen again.

This location has an excellent morning crew!!! Drinks are always on point even though it's been KIOSK ONLY for a few days now. ..and the stupid kiosk is SO short. I'm only 5'2 and I have to SQUAT to use it!!! It's absurd. if somebody came in and adjusted the height of it it would be tolerable. 4 stars due to that

I just wanted to give the employees at this location a huge shoutout. After dealing with the horrible service at the other location in town, these employees always treat me with the upmost kindness. What the other location is doing by sending people to this location for hot food is not fair and I appreciate that the employees here still treat everyone with kindness.

3 months ago my wife and I was at this dunkin location. My wife was going to apply for a job and when she stepped outside and I was still eating my meal, I heard a couple of the workers the manager included talking about my wife like how one of them seen my wife having a seizure and that they wouldn't hire someone like that, they were even giggling. So rude and discriminate they were, I didn't say anything to them because I didn't want to lose myself to my anger. They had no right talking about her like that and the fact they have someone working there who is on the registry and they want to judge my wife because of her health issues is very hypocritical.

This is one of the fastest service Dunkin around, it takes less than a minute for someone to get their order and they're on their way! Great employees here, orders are accurate, and it's quick service.

I spent almost $6 on a large latte and it felt super light, after getting to work and opening it it wasn’t even halfway filled.

I don't understand how a place that refers themselves as a donut shore can have the shittiest doughnut selection out of any place I've ever eaten doughnuts from! Even when they aren't sold out which is hardly ever unless you are shopping when they first open, most doughnuts are sold out and the ones that aren't are stail, and or just aren't good doughnuts to eat! They need to rethink their entire doughnut lineup!
