Nestled in the heart of Stockton Heath, Piccolino is an upscale Italian restaurant that effortlessly combines contemporary design with a warm and inviting atmosphere. This beloved dining spot on Victoria Square offers a delightful menu filled with classic Italian dishes, making it a go-to for locals craving authentic flavors. The vibrant open kitchen adds to the lively ambiance, while the charming terrace provides an ideal setting for enjoying meals al fresco—complete with cozy heated lamps for those cooler evenings.
Had a lovely meal this evening with my wife and children. Hadn't been here before, but was worth the trip. Food hot and tasty. Prices reasonable..I had the weekend 2 course menu. The Calamari was the nicest I have tasted in some time. The lobster spaghetti was lovely as never tried it before.

Just had the most amazing food and cocktails, but what made our time here even more special was Phil who look after us! He was lovely, friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond recommending us drinks and desserts. Because of Phil, we will definitely be returning.
Nicky Y — Google review
Was really excited as had heard great things but as soon as we got there, the greeting was pretty frosty even as we were being seated for our reservation, the woman did not seem happy or warm towards us at all. We ordered some drinks and I understand it was a busy Saturday evening so peak time but it did take a really long time for our food orders to be taken (probably around 30-40 minutes?) and we had to flag down the waiter to do so as well as we were all pretty hungry. As we tried to order, he says that two of the menu items that some of us wanted had just sold out which was disappointing but then we had to re-decide which cannot be helped. This waiter too seemed very standoffish and blunt, no response of manners or politeness which I’d usually expect from a server, especially in a restaurant that’s supposed to be high end. The whole process just seemed much more difficult than it should have been which, after waiting so long, we were just eager to get it over with- especially when nobody really seemed to be happy to be there or like they wanted to interact with us at all. Our starters came out an hour after we had been seated and honestly just unimpressed overall. Although the portion size was generous, the tomato bruschetta was just bland with an excessive amount of tomato on top; like PILED on top with barely any seasoning or anything special. The calamari, again, plentiful but for the price was bland too and honestly just tasted very very mediocre, not much flavour or crisp which was disappointing. Our mains were the redeeming factor to our evening and the lobster spaghetti was delicious, as was the calzone. I just feel considering the price point of the meal that it was a let down. There was a younger female waitress who brought over our drinks though (didn’t catch her name had a foreign accent perhaps Italian?) went out of her way to make our experience the best she could. Props to her as she was amazing! Overall, pretty poor experience compared to what we expected and considering we paid nearly £200 for the four of us, I’d be reluctant to return.

We had such a lovely time dining at Picholino – it was a fantastic experience! We were attended to and spoiled by Isa, who was so kind and considerate. He was so friendly and polite. The food was just wonderful. We had a really lovely time. I can't wait to come back!

Food was amazing, staff were polite and friendly although service was a little slow, and the bill was incorrect. We were overcharged, but corrected promptly.

Mr Lau's is a modern restaurant located in the bustling town center, offering a vibrant dining experience with its lavish decor, theatrical drinks, and enticing Asian cuisine menu. The open kitchen serves dim sum, Chinese street food, and classic stir-fries from Tuesday to Sunday. Guests can enjoy the a la carte menu throughout the day and indulge in a dim sum selection in the lively bar area.
We booked in advance to ensure a table as it’s really popular. Service was so quick and the staff were really accommodating and lovely, can’t praise them enough. Food was incredible, I’ve never had a bad meal there - the beef and pork belly were cooked to perfection, and the wonton soup was served piping hot. Amazing place, wonderful staff and beautiful food!

I have dined here several times and the food and service has been great. I have always tipped both things on merit but this time I was shocked to learn they added a service charge of 12.5%. I would of tipped anyway but it isn't right that this is added on involuntary. We should have the right to tip or not as we wish, this isn't the USA. I will not be returning unless you remove this service charge. No wonder the place was almost empty. Thank you and goodnight.
John D — Google review
Mr. Lau is the one of the only two Chinese restaurants in the city centre of Warrington. I had a day having a lunch with friends. I came here because of its fame as told by people. The restaurant is in an arrogant and classic upholstery, warm lightings and comfortable dining atmoshpere. However, the dim sums were not at quality as we could expect. The dishes were at small plates with no generous portions to fill ones' stomach. The prices of food are not at so good prices if the restaurant does not provide choices of set meals by having selections of dim sums and others dishes at decent prices. When entering the restauarnt, customers have to climb upstairs and downstairs to dining hall and ground floor. I think there it has no good reason coming back again. It is so sorry to have such comment. This restaurant niches in the Fusion foods which are not for Chinese gourmets.

Went for my birthday it was perfect the ambiance of the place was romantic we were in a corner huddled away it really was amazing. Definitely would recommend 👌 💯

We had a fantastic meal here, great service, great ambiance and beautiful food. The waitress told us of the offer for 4 dim sum for £20, so we ordered 8 different dim sum between 2 of us and each one was delicious! We were attentively seen by both the bar staff and our friendly waitress. All the food was brought out at once and about 10 minutes after ordering! For the 8 dim sum and 3 soft drinks each came for just over £60 and for the quality of the food felt this was very reasonable!

Came to the restaurant by accident after long shopping in Ikea! Tired and without any explanation. And it turned very nice! I love white table clothes and nice decor. Service was first class! And food was delicious! Recommend that please!

Fantastic food and service Visited with my parents on a busy Saturday evening but the place is well spread and the plenty of staff working. They were very prompt with drinks and taking orders. The wait for food was very short too. I had the 'Modacash Murgh' speciality dish which was delicious. Great for a sweet tooth with big mango chunks and plenty of chicken pieces too. My Dad had sizzling tandoori chicken with balti sauce and Mum had a chicken balti. Great portion sizes. For sides we had Saag Aloo, 2 prices and garlic & peshwari naans. Also good portions and we cleared everything because it was so nice. Definitely a place I'd recommend.

We have to add to our previous review as your only allowed 1 review: 30th October 2024. ‘Wandering Wednesday’ this week took both Hubby Neil and I to ‘Bombay 8’ from which we both have said it’s the BEST Indian dinner we have EVER had and believe you and me, we tried a lot of different restaurants, we been to Bombay 8 many times before and it just seems to get better and better!!! Our Dinner this evening was totally OUTSTANDING!! The staff were all so very pleasant indeed, I’m gutted I didn’t get the names of our servers, a young gentleman with a beard, short hair was very well groomed and pretty lady with long dark hair and beautiful nails!!, they were totally professional, attentive and very well mannered, they gave us outstanding service and are a complete credit to this establishment….. thank you. Starters: We both had ‘Bombay special mixed platter’: Chicken tikka, lamb chop, sheek kebab and garlic chicken, garnished with crispy salad, 2 side dishes of sauce, one of which was a chilli jam, we mentioned it to our gentleman server and he brought over 2 takeaway tubs full of the chilli jam for us, we were so grateful, it was very kind of him and he said he made it himself! Absolutely Delicious! Entrée’s: Neil had Lamb chop Frango, tender grilled lamb chops cooked in a spicy thick sauce, with yellow lentils, chillies, garlic, ginger and coriander, all together created a rich spiced sauce…… I had Tandoori mixed Korai, which was tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, lamb tikka, sheek kebab with chunks of tomatoes, red and green peppers, with a rich thick sauce (I asked this to be Madras hot, it was PERFECT.) garnished with spring onion and coriander….. We both had Bombay special rice each. To share: a bowl of chips and Peshwari naan bread… Total compliments to the chefs…..you are all very talented in your work…. Thank you. All the dishes were perfect and it was all completely faultless. The restaurant has been recently decorated and all the servers uniforms were pristine. Well done Bombay 8, the manager came over and said hello too….. your restaurant is a credit to you and your staff. Thank you. Big question? Will we be back?? What do you think!!!! 17th July 2024 ‘Wandering Wednesday’ today has been a very busy day and we were going to get a Indian takeout from Bombay 8…… in the end we decided to sit in and eat in the restaurant, rather than faff with dishing it out at home! Service was excellent as always, waiters were very attentive as always and extremely polite. Starters: We both had the same…. Bombay special mixed platter, with chicken tikka, lamb chop, sheep kebab, garlic chicken with salad to garnish…. Entrée’s Neil had chicken and malai kofta. I had Bengal Chum Chum. Both had Bombay house rice and shared a Peshwari naan and shared a portion of chips. This restaurant never fails to please, excellent food and perfectly presented, it’s been freshly decorated recently and it’s spotlessly clean….. We are….Full full full!….. We have and will be back…. xxx❤️

Don’t be fooled because this place is situated on a motorway service station, the quality of the food and service is superb and has been for almost a decade. I’ve always been impressed by the cleanliness and service, a few more veggie options would be great or perhaps some mock meat but that aside a wonderful place for a curry possibly the best in Warrington
Sebfarrell — Google review
Absolutely amazing food. Staff are lovely. Very polite and attentive. Generous portion sizes and plenty of choice. 100% recommend
Tina N — Google review
We have been going to bombay 8 for over 6 years now and it's Never let us down! The food is outstanding! I am a curry lover, and know a good curry. So when I say this is the BEST I mean it! The staff are absolutely lovely, very polite, professional and very accommodating. So if you're thinking about going, don't think.... Go, NOW 👌😄
Natalie E — Google review
I had lunch at the place during office party. It's quite a big place to accommodate 50-60 person at one time. Food tastes really good. Service was also appreciated. Managing 50 customer with different order was managed well. Overall food experience.
Sandy — Google review
Very good restaurant to boudoir if you like curry. I try to go there every time I travel up to Warrington. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The last time I visited they made a mistake with the order - correct curry, wrong meat - and I would have given 4 stars had it been the only time visiting there. However, the overriding experience has been immensely positive, and I have no intention of stopping going there any time soon.

A La Turka is a vibrant Turkish restaurant located in Stockton Heath, where you can indulge in a delightful array of authentic Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine. The menu features an impressive selection, including kebabs, steaks, and a generous mixed grill platter perfect for sharing. While the atmosphere is inviting and service is prompt, it's worth noting that the venue is situated on the first floor—so be prepared to navigate some stairs if needed.
Went on a Friday night to celebrate anniversary. Atmosphere was great as it started to get busier and then some chilled live music. Food was amazing can recommend the chef special sharing meze it was 10/10. Enjoyable mains and large portions we couldn't finish it off, brilliant service!

Fantastic local restaurant! Amazing authentic Turkish food served in wonderful surroundings. The main restaurant is beautifully designed & decorated. The outside terrace also offers a wonderful dining experience. High quality food is served by friendly & attentive staff. A vast menu gives options to all dietary requirements. The atmosphere is fantastic. Definitely one of our favourites. High recommend a visit. Thank you.

Fabulous food and great service from the staff . I had the mixed kebab and must say the meat and prawns was cooked to perfection , lovely fresh vegetables If I was to make a suggestion it would be maybe include a small amount of wild rice to the dish , but that’s just my opinion. Pudding was the Cheesecake and again was outstanding in taste and presentation Drink prices I thought was very reasonable. Well done to all , the whole experience was great and definitely worth the money

Me and my friend are regulars the staff are always very attentive and friendly, the food is always 10/10. Highly recommended the Sunday dinners! and the chicken shish kebab. Samir and Chico always provide the best service and have a great sense of humour, they’re always up for a laugh. Such a lovely restaurant would recommend to anyone. They also do some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had!

One of the Very Terrible Dining in Greater Manchester. I have been to many turkish cuisines in whole UK and in whole of Turkey too.. never witnessed such disaster. COLD FOOD. Everything Tasteless and Dry. . 90£ for two mains and 2 drinks.. like Come On bro? Mains can be seen in pictures. Small portion of donner meat with salad tomatoes 😐 For starter we ordered Smoked salmon with bread. Specially Requested it to be GLUTEN FREE. When brought on the table he said yeah yeah Gluten free... 1 min later he came back running saying oh no its not Gluten free. Made it without checking.. if the allergic person would have eaten it... Imagine? .
Y N — Google review
I went out for a quiet meal, but the experience exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was vibrant yet comfortable, with several tables celebrating birthdays, and the staff handled it all with remarkable professionalism and warmth. The food was nothing short of sensational—each dish delivered a burst of flavors that delighted the palate. The staff were exceptionally attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making the entire evening truly memorable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking both outstanding cuisine and a fantastic dining experience.

Had a wonderful evening meal tonight for my birthday with my husband, was convinced to sit outside onthe beautiful terrace, was worried it was going to be cold but the outdoor heater lights matched the warm service of all the staff we encountered. The food was delicious with excellent flavours and more than ample portion sizes. The evening ended with dancing to happy birthday song and a complimentary chocolate cake served with fresh fruit and sparklers ! We will definitely be returning ♡

Really lovely venue. Love the plants everywhere. They do a fixed lunch menu. We chose off the main menu. I had a vegan mushroom gyros which was really nice. Partner had the vegan burger which he said was really good.

Lovely food, great experience. Edit: Amended my original score due to our recent visit. Booked a table for my wife's birthday, I nearly walked out because service was so poor and slow. Food was alright, my chips were cold, table we sat at stank of dirty dish cloth. Sat in a dark dinghy corner of the restaurant. I should of said something but I didn't want to moan before my food even came, my mistake. Wrong food came and got charged, manager had to fix. Not a great experience.
Mike H — Google review
Worst experience at a restaurant I’ve ever had. No staff on the floor for the majority of our time. Had to get up and look for staff if we wanted anything. The lady who seemed like the manager was nowhere to be found. One time the lady was just stood chatting at the fire exit in the back. Food took ages and we were the only table in the restaurant and I’m not surprised because when the mains arrived, they were burnt and dry. The food is quite pricey so you at least expect good service and good food, especially as the only table. As someone who has worked in restaurants for 10 years, to not have someone on the floor at all times isn’t good. The only redeeming thing was the starters that were quite nice. I’ve never complained about a restaurant in my life but unfortunately it had to be done today.

Nice food and good value for money. Would dine here again, hospitality good but not fantastic. Will give this another whirl at a later date.

We have been about 5 times now when visiting family in the area. We have come back as its a lovely restaurant and nice food. Not left a review before. We have one criticism which is that the service can be slow at times even if not too busy. When seated we were only asked if we wanted water but not drinks. It took far too long for someone to come over and take a drinks order. The staff are friendly but could be more assertive. Not the first time as came for Sunday lunch before and spent 10 mins trying to get someones attention to ask for drinks. The food is nice. OK value for money in terms of price. Would be nice with Gyros was on the evening menu.

Graham J — Google review
Immediately offered drinks which was brilliant. Shortly after our orders were taken which came quickly. The food quality is very impressive and it’s obvious everything is cooked properly. Table service was brilliant also, with frequent check backs after being served food. The atmosphere was good too, not too loud not too quiet. A nice volume level of music too. I highly recommend coming here to dine.

Located in Warrington's Old Market Place, the restaurant provides a cozy and comfortable atmosphere with a fun edge, making it suitable for both adults and children.
Brilliant place for Italian food. Great building and decor, the staff were super friendly and helpful, all of the waitresses were lovely! The food was amazing, portions are great for the price you pay. We had a great time, highly recommend, and will be back again soon!

This is one of the cozy dinner place in Warrington, located at the city centre. This place has both indoor and outdoor sitting, the dishes were good. Staffs are very polite and the service was quick. This restaurant is recommended for the family or dinner dates.
Meghana B — Google review
This is a tricky one for me. We are fairly frequent visitors, and the kids love going to Ask Italian. The menu has a great selection of dishes that are, by and large, great, tasty, sensibly portioned, and arrive on hot plates. Their prawn starter is a particular favourite. However, on our last couple of visits, the pasta dishes appear to have been left of the pass rather too long and dried out quite badly, and the bread elements on the meals had all been badly charred on one side. Should we have mentioned it at the time, yes, probably. But enjoying our family meal was more important at the time. I have no doubt that the very polite and helpful staff would have put things right if given the opportunity. But those plates should have been rejected at the pass. Will we go again? Yes, of course. Should you give Ask Italian a try? Most definitely!

Great quality food, was the only customer in there as it just opened and the staff were pleasant. I would recommend and visit again.

I normally rate the 5/5, but this one depends on the chef. All other 4 times I tried previously, a senior chef (don't know his name) gave us an experience of Italian magic on dishes right from starters to dessert. But, unfortunately he was off on the day I turned up, but his cover on that day didn't prepare well. Some food were burnt and in some taste didn't sync in. Certainly shows how important he is to the restaurant wielding magic.

The service was excellent the was was amazing but I had one issue with the bacon in my carbonara with it being more fat that meat and I hate meat fat but overall it was really good.

The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. The food is absolutely delicious – fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The freshly made pizzas are a real highlight, especially the Capri topped with creamy goat’s cheese – it’s my personal favourite and genuinely one of the best I’ve tasted anywhere in the UK.

Absolutely the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to! The food is authentic and full of flavor — from the pasta to the desserts, every bite was delicious. What really impressed me was the lunch set: generous portions, great variety, and incredibly well-priced. A hidden gem that offers amazing quality without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

A great restaurant serving of tasty dishes. Excellent customer service and good food at the reasonable prices.

Beautiful atmosphere, the main restaurant and then onto the terrace was amazing. Presentation-wise the establishment is top level, however, the service massively lets the whole evening down. 15 plus minutes for a drink, followed by a lack of check-in from the staff was very disappointing. Unsure whether this was just a one-off or normal service.
VKS W — Google review
Ellie, our waitress, could not be more attentive. She is caring and brilliant for her role, although I think she would be more suited to a managerial role. The food was AMAZING, as per usual, as this was our 3rd visit. This restaurant is a must!! You will be doing yourself a disservice by not going… trust me. We only managed to take a pic of the scallops before inhaling the rest.

What a beautiful old building and the restaurant is stunning inside. All the staff are so professional and nice and the service is faultless. Very nice open kitchen and a big pizza over so we had one. My work mate had a calzone and I had pizza, both were hand stretched and made perfectly... So so good! I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend it 💯

The food and customer service was one of the best we’ve ever experienced, the pizza was so good, the pasta was also so well done. We’ve been in many Italian restaurants before, but this was so far one of the best experiences we have ever had. The staff greeted you with a smile and recommended us desserts, explaining what each of them is with patience as my parents do not speak English that well, the manager is so kind and welcoming. Once again thank you for having us! This will definitely not be the last time we visit

Located on London Road in Stockton Heath, Terrace Bistro is a small independent restaurant that has garnered numerous five-star reviews. Guests have praised the bistro for its impressive service and delicious food. While some minor issues were noted, such as undercooked fries and salty bacon chop, the overall dining experience was highly recommended for its ambiance and attentive staff. The chefs at Terrace Bistro are lauded for their culinary artistry and ability to cook dishes to perfection.
Absolutely stunning place to eat, the food and wine were amazing and the staff were so attentive. The chef made the time to speak to us, and his staff couldn't do enough...we couldn't fault it and will definitely be returning. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The service was really good. Very professional and attentive throughout the entire meal. It was really close to 5* but a couple of things let it down... the fries with the steak were a little under done (but the steak and pepper sauce were delicious), the bacon chop was very salty (I understand bacon will be salty but it was very overpowering) and the cheesecake had more of a tiramisu consistency. That said, the food was very good and I would definitely recommend it for the ambiance and service... the ricotta, soup and courgette tart were delicious... and they have a good wine selection.

Stunning, stylist little place. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food ....oh waw. We have had a fair share of delicious burgers in many restaurants but this was most definitely THE best quality burger we've ever had. Cooked to perfection. Thank you!

Dorado Lounge is a charming spot located in the heart of the Golden Square Shopping Centre in Warrington. The exterior, with its deep pink or light plum color, is eye-catching and inviting. The spacious interior spans two floors and offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With plenty of outdoor seating, it's an ideal place to relax and watch shoppers go by. The lounge serves a fantastic range of food and drinks, including full kids' menus as well as gluten-free and vegan options.
This is our second visit. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, the food here is really nice and the diablo smashed burger is our favourite. Actually all the burgers are really delicious. I love the chocolate brownie with ice-cream!!

My absolute favourite place in Warrington. Definitely the best breakfasts in town. Their blueberry and cream pancakes are a dream come true. The atmosphere is great, I like the worn chairs and all the random 'charityshopy' pictures on the walls. The service is also fab, always polite, always on time, always correct. They have a vegetarian and a gluten free menu as well. Also are dog and kids friendly. They couldn't really do better. I would highly recommend for everyone to try this place.
Katalin V — Google review
I have only recently been diagnosed with celiac disease, which means I required a gluten free meal. Let’s just say I had a wonderful experience, the staff need a supervisor to take on an allergy order which really put me at ease on how well they deal with allergies. The food was amazing, I ordered a lounge burger, but they also have a wide range of options on their gluten free menu. Definitely will be coming again. The staff are also really friendly and the restaurant is also a convenience after a long day of shopping.

Great place, dog friendly, good for coffee, brunch, lunch. Nice atmosphere, cosy seating. The food was good overall the panini probably better than the lounge eggs. Only the sherbet lemonade was disappointing (not strong flavour at all).

Super cosy atmosphere, loved how simple and easy it was to order online. Staff were lovely and place was nice and clean - they have an activity table for kids, too.

Whenever I’m in the mood for a burger, this place is my first choice and it never disappoints. Honestly, any burger on the menu is great, but my absolute favorite is the chicken, bacon, and avocado burger. It’s always perfectly made! The service is always friendly and fast, and they really make you feel welcome. One time, they even let us bring our furry friend along, she stayed in her carrier while we enjoyed dinner, which meant a lot. That kind of kindness makes a difference. :)

Came here as a family meal for 10 of us a little while ago, some with allergies/ dietary restrictions. The staff were lovely and accommodating, the food is amazing and they have a really good choice to help everyone be able to pick something. We have since returned here several times as it's our new favourite local "tea out" place!

Vandal, located in the Treasury Building in Palmyra Square, Warrington, offers a diverse selection of classic British dishes such as steak and chips, burgers, and braised ox cheek. The restaurant is known for its welcoming and attentive staff. The menu caters to various tastes with a focus on high-quality and interesting food. Additionally, many items on the menu are gluten-free. Customers praise the excellent service and consistently great food quality.
We ate here early before going to a show at Parr Hall which is literally next door so very convenient. Service was attentive & helpful, there are plenty of staff. We enjoyed the food - the “small plates” are not that small, I found two was enough for me. The chocolate brownie was lovely & a generous size The only thing I would change was the loud music, but it was a Saturday night, and I am quite old

Best Sunday roast , a sharing platter between two (no a la carte on Sundays). The beef just fell off the bone with the chicken being lovely and succulent. This the work of a proper chef. Nice high ceilings and good service- would recommend to all, but make sure you have a good appetite.

The small plates of food were absolutely amazing, staff really friendly and the rooftop was lovely to sit out in the sunshine 🌞. You can order food and drink to enjoy on the rooftop but bottomless brunch has to be had in the restaurant (which is understandable with the steps up!). Can't wait for the next visit 😊

Bold Street House is a trendy and stylish independent bar located in the town center of Warrington. It offers an impressive cocktail menu and a selection of wines, making it perfect for after-work drinks or a relaxed weekend outing. In addition to its drinks, the venue also serves elevated pub grub such as cheese & charcuterie platters, classic English breakfasts, American style pancakes, and hearty jacket potatoes.
Had the cocktail afternoon tea here. Lovely sandwiches, selection of cakes and scones with jam and cream! Good selection of unlimited cocktails to choose from, definitely not lacking in alcohol measures. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. As soon as they saw empty glasses they were asking if we were ready for more drinks. Will definitely be back. Thank you ladies.

We took our parents for afternoon tea, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, and it was spoiled by the food and lack of professionalism. I'm looking at the photo's in other reviews and it looks amazing we got anything but amazing we got 2 cheese (wafer thin) and pickle and 2 Cucumber finger sandwiches between 2 of us, the cucumber was cut length ways with all the skin on with not much cucumber. We had drinks while we waited for the food, we ask for a Gin and Tonic in a tall glass it came in a bowl glass, a small Lemonade we got two bottles, a black coffee and a Latte which I sent back for being look warm. the cakes on the plate were poor in quality with only 3 macaron between 4 of us the Victoria sponge in fairness was nice the scones were a cheap £1 for 6 from Asda and a poor tasting Jam most of it wasn't eaten, the two young staff serving didn't have a clue but tried their best and the young lady even changed the music to a nice soft jazz I don't normally put a bad review but this needed saying..

I recently had the pleasure of being served by one of the most attentive, friendly and professional bartenders I’ve ever met. From the moment I sat down, I was greeted warmly by Dylan and with genuine enthusiasm that instantly set the tone for the evening. He was very attentive without being overbearing. He made sure my glass was never empty and checked in just enough to make me feel valued without interrupting the flow of conversation. He has the incredible ability to remember details, not only my drink preference but also the little things I’d mentioned in passing. His knowledge of cocktails was impressive, and each recommendation felt perfectly tailored. Beyond skill, it was his excellent interpersonal skills that made the experience unforgettable! He created an atmosphere that felt welcoming and personal, turning an ordinary night out into something special. Truly, a bartender who goes above and beyond in every way. Thanks Dylan!!!

We celebrated our Civil Partnership (our Civvy P) at Bold Street House on 19th July 2025, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We hired the full bar for the entire day, and from start to finish, everything was absolutely spot on. James (the wonderful owner) and Francesca (the amazing bar manager) were both fantastic. They were always helpful, warm, attentive, and genuinely excited to be part of our celebration too. They really couldn’t have done more for us, from brainstorming ideas, to recreating their menu with our own twist on cocktail names, and decorating the entire place with our bits and bobs for us. Their energy, care, and excitement made the night feel truly special. The staff team were also incredible, they were friendly, approachable, and professional. They kept everything running smoothly and made sure all our guests were well looked after, with a smile, and great service all night long - even when the karaoke kicked off and the song choices got... brave! Why do we all think we can out-sing Whitney after a few bevvies? The venue itself is just stunning (one of our favourite places on the square!). It’s super stylish, relaxed, fun, and the perfect setting for any celebration. The whole place has such a welcoming, feel-good vibe, and we love it. The drinks are top-notch! They’re always made with premium spirits, meaning you get the full flavour - exactly how a cocktail should be done - all for the bargain price of 2 for £14! Bonus points for cocktail presentation too 🍹 Anne-Marie says the Guinness is top notch, but I’ll have to take her word for that one! We’ve had so many lovely comments from our friends and family about the day, and that’s thanks in large to the amazing team at Bold Street House. We’re so grateful for everything and appreciate every single effort the staff made to make our day special. Thank you, thank you, thank you, James, Francesca, and the team at Bold Street House — you made our Civvy P unforgettable! 🤍

The atmosphere is lively, making it a great spot to enjoy drinks and nibbles. The menu offers a good selection of spirits, fizz, wines, as well as fresh pizza and sharing platters. The staff are friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming environment for visitors.
Fantastic evening at Corks Out for a family catch-up. Great atmosphere and friendly staff are on the call offering advice on drinks and food. Loved the decor and relaxed chic feel of the restaurant and there’s intimate bar rooms if you are looking for a more private quiet evening. We opted for the restaurant overlooking the cosy open fire patio. Amazing drinks including an Orange Wine. I had a delicious mocktail as designated driver and it didn’t disappoint. We had tasty antipasti and freshly baked salami pizzas. We ordered extra garlic bread it was so delicious. The friendly attentive staff from the manager to the serving staff made it a lovely evening. Can’t wait to go back and highly recommend Corks Out for a special fun evening out.

Best bar in Warrington… maybe even the entire north west. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks are 10/10 (especially the Mango Unchained IPA). Food is 20/10, highly recommend the chorizo bites or pesto and Prosciutto pizza. Oh and they’re also dog friendly, need I say more.

The team at Corks Out always go the extra mile to provide an excellent service. They are professional and super friendly no matter how busy the bar is they do their best to accommodate everyone. Although always best to book! The pizzas are delicious & the prices are very reasonable. I’d like to say an extra special thank you for the effort the put into my husband’s 60th birthday at quite short notice. Big shout out to JEN, BEN, HANNEIN, ISSI, JOSH, LAYLA, LIV & LIAM. We popped in for some wine before Christmas and decided to stay for a quick lunch while we waited for our dog to be finished at the local groomers. We hadn’t realised that there was a bar/cafe at the rear of the wine shop. It was a good spot, not too busy which suited us. And the pizza and garlic bread was really very good. They were out of Coca Cola though, otherwise it was a lovely lunch. A rare trip out for us.

I have been here a few times in the past with friends and enjoyed the evening. Tried to go with two kids (6 and 7) at 5.30pm on a weekday to be told "no kids after 5pm, sorry". Disappointing that the kids curfew was so early but if that's the vibe they want then fair enough. I can understand later in the evening but 5pm is ridiculously early! Posting for others info that might be coming with kids only to be turned away. It won't stop me coming back with friends but it's disappointing to see this in an otherwise family friendly area.

We thought we were walking into a wine shop. Lovely room/conservatory through the back. With booths down one side and small tables down the other. The drinks menu included a good range of spirits, fizz and wines. Small menu for food, this included fresh pizza and sharing platters. We had a meat and cheese sharing platter and garlic bread, both were delicious. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be going back.

Just walked in, asked if there are any seats the the ginger guy behind the bar said, ‘No that’s why there are people standing there!’ There was two ladies stood in the corner pretty much out of View. Why the need to be so rude ? The place was full of females so probably don’t like a couple being in there. Second time we have tried going there and second rude experience. Appalling.

The Indian Courtyard, located on Walton Road in Stockton Heath, offers a contemporary take on Indian cuisine while still featuring classic favorites. The restaurant boasts a lovely decor with mood lighting and ample space for larger groups, including a beautiful upstairs area. Customers praise the faultless service and highly recommend the establishment for its mouth-watering dishes that burst with spices and flavors. Visitors particularly rave about the chicken 65, chicken curry, chattinad, and monkfish curry.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Indian Courtyard. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was phenomenal – the staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience, even catering to my request for a spicier curry, which was much appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for excellent food and amazing service! I would say I highly recommend the yoghurt bombs, however I would actually recommend anything on the menu, it was all so delicious!

Absolutely loved our visit to Indian Court! 🍛 The chicken dishes were bursting with flavour—especially the chicken tikka starters. The mutton was tender and packed with authentic spices, and the Indian curries truly tasted like home. The mocktails and cocktails were top-notch, and the beautifully decorated interiors added a special touch to the dining experience. Staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout. Located in the heart of Stockton Heath with easy parking nearby—definitely a must-visit for anyone craving real Indian flavours in a stylish setting. 🌟

A very busy Indian restaurant which is clearly popular as people are still coming in for a table after closing at 10pm. Decor is tasteful with a hint of sophistication. Service is efficient, friendly, and obliging with various requests. Menu choice is not the largest but still had enough variety. Food is fresh and well presented. On street parking only.

Updated yet again 7th June 2025 A year later I have to do another review. This restaurant just keeps getting better. The lamb biriyani we had tonight was ambrosial and better than any Michelin Indian I've been to. Please try it, you won't be disappointed and it's not expensive. Main courses are under £15. It's exceptional. Updated - revisited on 8th June. I've upgraded my original score to a 5. Had a fabulous visit this weekend and the food was divine. The chicken 65 was stunning and soft and perfectly cooked, same with our chicken curry, the chattinad. I had the salmon starter again and it was delicious. Service was faultless. It's honestly a gem of a place, I highly recommend. We had a really lovely evening at The Indian Courtyard and I would definitely go back. The service was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was buzzy and chilled music. Food presentation is immaculate and the crockery is gorgeous. The reason I can't give a 5 for food is because the chicken we had in 2 dishes was overcooked. First in the chicken 65 it was too chewy inside as it had been fried too long (taste was delish). Then in our chicken curry main it was really very dry, although the sauce was very nice. Nothing else was overcooked, the lamb was melt in the mouth and the fish was beautifully soft. But both chicken dishes were over, which was a shame.

Went for a quiet meal with my wife, and we were really impressed with the quality of food, service and ambiance. The staff were attentive and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work rather than going through the motions. The food was delicious, amazingly presented, and the right sized portions. Nestled in the heart of Lymm, The Wine Kitchen is a charming independent wine bar and shop that offers a delightful experience for both wine enthusiasts and casual drinkers alike. With its industrial-chic ambiance, patrons can either select a bottle to take home or enjoy it on-site. The owner, Michael, has garnered praise for his exceptional service, especially when it comes to organizing large orders like wedding supplies—making the process seamless and stress-free.
I couldn’t recommend The Wine Kitchen highly enough. I wanted 50 bottles of Fashion Victim rosé prosecco for our wedding this summer and found that Michael stocked them. He was so easy to communicate with and sorted the delivery with our venue without us needing to get involved. Communication throughout was great too, something which is much appreciated when organising a large wedding! Would definitely work with The Wine Kitchen again for any party we will have in the future, big for small. Thank you Michael!
