The place smelled like worn socks. The food was made with 0 spice that we thought we have covid eating it cuz it tasted like nothing. Also the blonde old woman was rude while serving us while the other tables had a whole service of napkins and so on we had to put ours ourselves. As a tourist i Wouldn’t recommend.

We had a truly unique experience enjoying pizza here. The staff are friendly, the location is perfect for relaxing and savoring the food, and the well-maintained bathrooms are an excellent bonus that enhances the overall experience at the restaurant.

The food and service was incredible, we went two days in a row. I specially recommend the seafood risotto, it was incredible. For the cola zero lovers, just know that it's a machine soda so kinda flat.

We were craving pizza during our trip through Germany and we did a quick search and stopped by here. The bruschetta was amazing and the pizza was fantastic. We felt like we stepped out of Germany and into Italy. I would highly recommend eating here if you’re ever in the area.

What a great experience, tasty food, and outstanding staff! We met a super friendly waitress, she was welcoming, cheerful, and very respectful, and she uplift the while dining experience, she is the nice lady with the tattoo saying “all the people are the same 😉” The pizza is from another world, super tasty tomato sauce, generous toppings, great crust, and above all it came very fast! The place is highly recommended, we even wanted to visit the city again just to try their past as we didn’t had the chance to try it! Value for money is great as well…

Our special request were just pasta with butter and salt (half portion) and just salt potatoes with butter. Even that tasted better than home made. Great small town cafe. We went for breakfast and enjoyed some eggs and things! The staff were so friendly and the food was delicious. The cafe is small, but a great size for a relaxing experience. My only complaint was that they charged us a ‘sitting fee’. I don’t understand why you would charge people to sit down for breakfast, but they charged us per person. We left right after eating so it’s not like we stayed for hours.

Such a lovely café with a very nice and welcoming atmosphere. I always go there whenever we visit Garmisch. The food is delicious with plenty of sweet and savory options. Also vegan friendly. Would definitely recommend!

I went there at lunch time so it was crowded with many people that I had to wait for the food around 50 minutes. However, I do understand since there was only a few staff. The food is good, especially for taking good pictures. Not so much menu choices to make. Quite a bit expensive but it was in the middle of town that a lot of visitors there so it was okay.

The best coffee in Garmisch-Partenkirchen! Plus the food was super fresh and the atmosphere was perfect. Very quaint, peaceful vibes, with the most adorable outdoor seating area. The service was very friendly. I will be back for sure!

Had some late lunch here and loved every single thing they served us, from start to finish. The wraps are so fresh and tasty, and there are loads of plant based options. Didn’t try the coffee but they work with great roasters so it must be real good too. Finally, everything was very fairly priced

This is a cute and cozy place. The staff were friendly and the good was fresh and delicious. We had the goat cheese salad and the vital salad. Both were made with a variety of fresh ingredients and both had so much variety that I'm having a hard time remembering everything that was in them in order to recreate them at home. Would definitely recommend this cafe!

Great Bavarian restaurant with nice concept of small places. Places had everything that you expect from good German restaurant, classic dishes and some options with the Italian twist (like pasta) and you can try several dishes in a smaller size that is perfect for someone who can't eat so much but wants to try different options. There are also regular sizes. Beer for sure is fresh and tasty. Great wibes, fast and efficient service, easy to book over the phone, nice design inside and plenty of sits outside.

The restaurant feels very warm and cozy inside. We arrived at 7:30 PM without a reservation, so we had to sit outside. Unfortunately, the Pork Knuckle and Roasted Pork were already sold out! You really need to book in advance and come early to get them. We ordered other dishes instead, and I think the food was very tasty! It’s actually the best German food I’ve had during my trip. The price is also reasonable. Highly recommended!

Seated fast. Ordered even faster. Meal came at lightening speed. Ate terribly and paid. Beer arrived 6:07 we were done by 6:30 😳 If you want to feel like cattle, eat terrible food and be ripped off for it. This is the place for you. Food looked ok. Tasted below average. Pork was hard hard hard (couldnt be cut with the bladed knife) and only came with the tiniest piece of crackling. The sauce was very mild and watered down. Goulash had flavour but was extremely salty and I could of knocked my husband out cold with the knodle. Käsespätzle was one of the most blander I have tried.

Wonderful place which celebrates German, Austrian and Bavarian cuisine to the utmost. They had the great idea to serve some of the heavier meat dishes in the form of Tapas, which are still quite big but gives one the option of ordering more. Nothing for Vegans but great for meat lovers. Would definitely go again if in the area.

Bavarian tapas were a fun way to have a unique dinner and try a little bit of many local dishes. We loved the ox cheeks, schnitzel, cheese spatzle, and flammkuchen, and everything else we tried was very good too. I recommend a reservation, although we were able to get in without one. The atmosphere was great and we felt the food and drinks were very good value.

Zum Wildschütz is such an atmospheric and excellent place. The first time we visited for a late lunch, they didn’t have a free table and suggested we sit in the bar area, we enjoyed every little detail of the place. We loved it so much that we tried to come back another day but it was fully booked. Luckily, we managed to visit again on our last day in Garmisch. Over the two visits we tried roasted pork, deer stew, hot dog, beef roast, apple strudel, and of course beer everything was absolutely delicious. The cozy atmosphere, warm service, and authentic Bavarian food made this our favorite spot in town. Highly recommend

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Germany! The food is exquisite, the service is phenomenal, the ambiance is warm, and it is in a beautiful area. What more could you want. While you are there make sure to ask Marleen about the “Chinese potato salad” and hopefully it will bring a smile to her face!

We had an amazing dinner at this pizzeria. They were very busy but were still able to make space for us without a reservation. The pizza is phenomenal and so crunchy & delicious! 🍕 Our servers were very polite and made sure we had what we needed. If you’re wanting a good meal with delicious dessert, you’ll want to go here!

First time visiting this restaurant in Garmisch Germany. We walked to it from the hotel a couple blocks down the road. The restaurant is next to the main road and easy to get to. There is a really large covered outdoor seating area as well as an indoor dining room. The service was really good with the server attentive and friendly. The pizza we ordered was really good and a good portion. It’s big enough for two people. The only small negative thing was the fact that there was not an English menu. Thank goodness for Google translate. We will definitely go back.

Great pizza! super fast delivery. we had 2 large pizza and we had leftovers. We had the margarita pizza- which is the American version of a cheese pizza. The second was a Hawaiian. Both thin crust each slice is the size of your head lol.

La Baita is fast and delicious. We are here a few years ago while visiting Garmisch and when we returned for a visit,we made sure it was the first place we ate. The pizza is amazing, but the pasta was even better. I had the Penne Arrabiatta and it was the perfect combination of spice and garlic. My husband had the Rigatoni with gargonzola and it was wonderful as well. We also ordered a mixed salad, the dressing was perfect....our dinner was so good, we made reservations to eat here for dinner each night of our 3 day visit.

One of the places that seem to be busy all the time, which is a good sign. The restaurant was quite full and there were many takeaways as well. Found the many to be extremely huge and too many options but the items we got were of good quality. The person taking the orders was very friendly and professional. Can definitely recommend this place and very centrally located.

Afternoon coffee and cake at the Kroenner Kaffeehaus and Konditorei is definitely worthwhile. The selection of classic and modern cakes and tortes is enormous and includes a very good range for gluten free eaters (the poppy seed and pistachio loaf is a great pick). However, the Kaiserschmarrn is what really impressed us. It was one of the best we've ever had (and we've had a lot) so definitely try it if you are in the area.

Believe it or not! That’s cafe is the only reason makes me visit Garmisch 🤷🏻 I used to live in Tyrol and some trips I travel 90 km from Tyrol, Austria to Garmisch especially for this cafe One of the most delicious cafes in the Alps, its decor is beautiful, its staff is wonderful, its products are of very high quality and its prices are very excellent A cafe that deserves to be visited again White cream cake There is also a local dessert dish that unfortunately was not available during my visit, which is a pie with milk sauce In short, whatever dish you choose and eat a piece of it, it is delicious 💯👏🏻✅

Great variety of high quality cakes. Unfortunately, the service is rather poor - the waiter kept us waiting (they take the “wait” in waiter literally it seems …) at our table, misplaced our order and was generally unfriendly. Would buy cakes there again anytime to eat at home but not necessarily dine in again.

Im not sure how others rated this more than one star. The cake we got was stale, dry and flavorless. For a place that sells chocolate their hot chocolate tasted like that of a machine’s. We came here because if the high ratings and that it was the only place open on a sunday, wish we just got some chocolate from the aldi down the street. Super disappointed. The icing on top of the cake for us was the smell of our table which was clearly wiped down with a smelly old rag. Dont make the mistake of trying this place

The cafe is very cosy and inspiring if you want to stay there and spend a little time relaxing. The waiters are generally kind and fast, except for one who shout at us for spilling some outside water into a glass.

We had our breakfast in this restaurant two days ago, arrived at the door, no one is there. Then we entered to look for someone to show us our seats. Finally after 5 mins someone showed up and told us set anywhere and left. We sat down and order Chicken toast & Omelette. As the picture shows, the Omelette burnt and tasteless + We got Pineapple toast with small slices of chicken also burnt. Then we decided to try the dessert. We entered the coffee room and there was a very rude lady shouting if u want a dessert and coffee u need to get out only to go, ( we were told it is ok to eat dessert & coffee in the restaurant) she continued to insist to get the coffee and dessert and get out. anyhow worst experience, won’t recommend it.

The Rinderfilet was absolutely outstanding, perfectly tender with a rich and flavorful sauce. The vegetables and hash browns on the side were just as impressive. This place fills up quickly so reservations are a must, but I really appreciated that they let me enjoy my meal at the bar.

Definitely make a reservation and ask for the patio, no matter what the weather. Probably the best view of the mountains while you are eating outside of eating at the top of Mt. Wank. This place is very small - maybe six tables inside and four or five tables outside. We were able to make a reservation the day before and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We were seated just outside of the window off of the bar so our ordering and beverage/food deliveries were through that window due to how tight the patio is. The food was absolutely fantastic, my curried sausage platter was excellent. The staff was excellent, putting up with our bad German and having excellent English. Menus are handwritten, as is the bill when it is time to pay.

Loved this place. Very German. Super friendly staff. Delicious steak, though a little under cooked for medium. Great pepper sauce and hashbrowns. Two large beers, including a nice NA. The large side salad is huge! Probably need reservations. We were lucky to get a bar stool table For two.

Fantastic atmosphere and food! I absolutely love that they have Tegernseer on draft, and I really enjoyed all the food they I ordered. Everyone was also very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend stopping by when you’re in the area!

This is a fantastic local family run restaurant. Do not pass this up. Make reservations or go early like we did it’s small and all the locals love it. The steaks were out of this world tender and the herb butter sauce and the peppercorn sauce were exploding with flavor. Highly recommended! PS get the garlic bread!

Excellent chocolate!! A lot of varieties. They let me try some. The prices add up quickly but well worth it. Some of the best I've had. Bought some for a friend who loved it too.

Great variety of burgers. Pretty big burgers too. Love the Kramer Slammer. Great French Fries and the Potato Wedges are just as good. Nice variety of cold beers but I wish they had a regular Dunkel instead of the Weiss Dunkel. Just a personal preference. Anyway, our second time there and we'll definitely be back. Fast, friendly service too.

Classic burger restaurant. The burger was good but what bothered me was that we weren't asked how we wanted the meat, and it came medium rare. On the other hand, the cocktail and colaweiss were good, as were the fries

What the hell??? It was for sure the best burger in my life…. I took “special one with pesto from garlic rukola bacon” I won’t change anything it was simply perfect. The dessert was okay (not the best one). The mojito with mango was as well fantastic ! 10 of 10 for THAT DAMN BURGER ❤️ I wish I could take your restaurant to Prague :(

We were on holiday and my wife was ill, so I had to go solo. Went out and found this place. Friendly, welcoming, easy and practical to sit alone and a great burger. Really, a top notch Burger & some good German Beers. Everyone was happy & relaxed. Solo, in company, whatever; a quality venue.

We dropped in for lunch and enjoyed everything from the service to the food. I ordered the hangover burger and my wife got the vegetarian burger to satisfy our hunger and niether of us were disappointed. Our experience was relaxing, the food was delicious, and we both enjoyed the atmosphere. I thought the prices were reasonable and we left feeling very satisfied having chosen Shaka Burgerhouse for lunch.

This cozy, authentic Bavarian restaurant is located near the Garmisch Olympic ski jump. Food is delicious and service is friendly and efficient. They are able to serve larger groups, whether inside or out.

Such a beautiful restaurant, with views all around - whether it be cable cars, the train or the mountain. We ordered the standard/large Kaiserschmarrn - whilst the pancake itself was rather bland (personally I prefer a more eggy pancake flavour), the compote was lovely and the pancake served as a nice medium for it. Would recommend for a nice dining experience.

Beautiful view, amazing service, and delicious food! I shared the tomahawk steak with a friend and I think it was the best steak I have ever had. The grilled vegetables were cooked to perfection and so flavorful. The waiter even gave a sample of the venison goulash to our table to try. We will definitely be back

Small, out of the way restaurant in Garmisch. The food was amazing! I had the Filet vom Saibling which was so delicious! Also ordered at our table was the pork knuckle, and Venison Goulosh. All was scrumptious and highly recommend and kid/allergen friendly too!

The restaurant is in an amazing location looking over to Zugspitze, top of Germany. The mushroom soup and gulash were delicious. Käsespätzle was amazing, it is definitely a must to try.

A very small place. Inside are only few tables available, outside are some more in the warmer seasons. The coffee and chai latte is extremely good. The cafe has a nice, cozy atmosphere and is vegan friendly.

Coffee taste really good however for the price that we paid I expect a little effort on the foam on cappuccino not just a bubbly milk foam. That is why I hesitate to give 5stars. Place looks really great though after certain hours you might not have anything left to snack.

Cool little place in the centre of Garmisch! Only few tables inside, and more outside if the weather allows. Nevertheless the coffee is very delicious! They also have good selection of cakes/ desserts and some sandwiches. Would recommend for a visit

Really delicious food, cozy atmosphere. Incredibly fast service for our meal and drinks. We had Satay, so tasty. Very tender. Damn good sauce on it. My partner had curry with rice and the heat was just right with very tender protein and vegetables. 🥕 The rice was absolutely perfect. I had beef 🥩 with onions. Very similar to Mongolian beef, just the right amount of sauce to rice ratio. A lot of onions 🧅 , but that’s your preference Only ding on this review is that it **was** a little bit more expensive than I thought. The bathroom wasn’t great but you know, that’s life 🤷‍♂️

We had dinner at Thang Long to celebrate our 1-year wedding anniversary and brought our baby girl with us. We had booked a table in advance—even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded that evening, I’d still recommend making a reservation just to be safe. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. They made sure we had enough space to park our stroller right next to our table, which we really appreciated. We ordered Pho, crispy duck, and a few appetizers. The service was fast and the food was absolutely delicious. Portions were generous and everything was freshly made. Just a heads-up: they only accept cash, so make sure to bring some with you. Overall, we had a lovely experience. Great food, great service. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

We had dinner twice from this place during our trip to Garmisch. All the dishes we tried was delicious. Quantity, quality and service was outstanding. Staff were really keen on helping us. They speak English as well so its more convenient for travellers. We trued sushi, pho, crispy duck, etc and all the items were top notch

First , I saw the tableware is so dirty especially the chopsticks that was broken and older I lost my appetite when I take that 🤢🤢There have been flying around here🫩 For food , the chicken vegetable rice was bland and my friend order the tofu and vegetable rices noodles that is unremarkable I am not recommend this restaurant if you are Asia it’s not your taste

Well, firstly the staff are not welcoming and kinda making us move fast and we haven't finished browsing the menu and are already asking us what to order first even though i already told him that we will order a little bit later. As I observe they are hospitable in their own kind. tho the servings are so superb. so big servings. we didn't even finish the dish and we asked for a take out and he gave us tup to put our food in it. 😅 The lady who gave us the bill was nice and we saw her at the White Night later that day, she even waved at us. sooo nice! No card payment, only cash.

Went as a group of four for dinner. We are vegetarians and were able to find vegetarian dishes for all. The taste of the food was not the best. Some of the dishes were good like vegetarian mango avocado sushi and spring rolls. Some were only ok like veg fried rice, veg noodles and veg kung pao sauce. Also only cash accepted here.

We went to the restaurant. The food was ok. However, the service was quite bad. The staff cannot handle the number of people, and it wasn't even a crowded day at the ski area. Plus, the staff had a bit rude attitude towards us and other guests (maybe because my German isn't so good, but I tried). My advice: take snacks with you if you go skiing in this area and avoid the restaurants in the mountain. All 4 that we tried had terrible service and cannot handle the large number of guests.

we were at the restaurant on sunny day. The service was fast and food tasted good. One of the few restaurants on the Slopes/Pisten that offers more than 1 vegetarian option for a meal. The view from the restaurant was amazing.

In cold and snowy weather, you have to wait a long time, and you are seated at a table with other people, which cannot accommodate all of you. There is no place to put your helmets. The food is like fast food or convenience food - very unhealthy food. On a positive note, I can note that the staff try to be nice and responsive as much as possible with so many customers. The place is warm and clean.

Usually, I am not a big fan of having lunch with table.service when I go skiing. However, I cannot recommend enough this restaurant. The wait was very short, the price more than reasonable and the staff was very nice and friendly. Certainly a place so would recommend.

When we missed the last gondola of the day, we did not expect to find such an amazing place for dinner, that cheered us up and made us super happy that we missed the gondola. Wonderful little cafe. We had fresh squeezed OJ and an amazing pumpkin spice latte! The 2 pancake breakfast was just the right amount. I also really like their syrup it was a little darker with more molasses flavor. Excellent find!

Nice spot in Garmisch with great breakfasts! I didn't realize how much I ordered and felt bad with not finishing all of it. The food is fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and quick, he came back a few times to make sure everything was good with our food and coffees. Would recommend to anyone.

My spouse ordered the Klassisches and I ordered the Pink Passion smoothie bowl, along with cappuccino. The eggs were made perfectly, the raspberry jam was delicious, the coffee was so good we got another round for take away, and the smoothie bowl was lightly sweet without being sugary. The server was very kind to us despite our poor German. The space is adorable, with cosy mismatched dishware and seating.

"Der Laden" in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is an absolute gem! We come here often, and it's always a wonderful experience. Very friendly staff and a great ambiance in this cute little café! They offer many vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options. It's nice to have different milk alternatives like almond, coconut-rice, etc. Coffee is organic and they have the usual coffee drinks from cappuccinos to espressos. . The smoothies are great and they come in little glass bottles! There are a lot of different options for the smoothies with various fruits and vegetables and other add ins. They have some room to grow with some of the baked goods, but really wonderful food displays and lots of variety. The seating is comfortable and there is a lot of natural light. Even when they are full it doesn’t feel crowded. They have comfortable arm chairs, standard tables and bar-height tables with taller stools. The shop area is very cute and charming with a lot of local products and handmade items. They have selection of teas and specialty food items for sale as well. We didn't use the wifi but you can get thirty minutes free, this is one of the only cafés in town that does have wifi as far as I know. They have a lot of lunch options, great for if you need to grab a quick bite and want something fresh! Will definitely be returning often! *CASH ONLY*

One of the best pasta’s we have ever had. The people were very nice and a quick service! I really recomment this place and we are definitely coming back here.

The restaurant was awesome and we visited it because it was close to where we stayed, but it was amazing!! There were many choices of pasta and pizzas! I would definitely recommend the pastas, they are absolutely delicious! They have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options! The staff was very kind and nice!

We planned on visiting this restaurant because it was very close to our hostel. It is an authentic Italian restaurant with great pizzas. We loved everything here and also the amazing ‘Nduja meat that they used in our pizzas. In the end, staffs were really sweet to give us amaretto and Grappa shots for free. All in all a great experience. Keep it up guys.

Family business that has been around for a while. Fabulous assortment of cakes and pastries. Large varieties of bread and rolls as well. Corona has put limits on how many people can go in at a time, but it's worth the wait here. Cakes can be ordered for special occasions here. Top quality and service with a smile.

We are visiting from England ( staying in Biberwier) and it was lovely to find a genuinely unique bakery that didn't just sell the same products you see everywhere. The Bobbis was like a cross between a scone and macaroon and the Nuss biscuit filled with Nutella and covered in a glaze was a dream! Make this a stop if you are in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We might be back tomorrow!

I came here a couple of days in a row and the coffee was spectacular! I ran a coffee shop in Melbourne Australia and it’s fair to say I know a fair bit about coffee - and havi by travelled Europe for the past 3 months and tried 100’s of cafes this was THE best. Espresso was dialled in well, milk textured perfectly, latte art very very strong. On top of that that young married guy making coffees was lovely, kind, professional, and talented… the coffee was that good I would visit this town again just for the coffee. Totally made my day!
