I don't know if it was an off night or business as usual, but the experience was disappointing. The food took a long time, despite the place being empty. Service wasn't great (e.g., never asked how we wanted the burgers cooked, didn't check in after the food came, didnt ask if we wanted another drink). The place was empty although the Malecon was bustling. The food was only okay, my burger was more bun than burger. Overall just underwhelming, especially for the price.

Came here on a food tour. Loved it so much we came back the next day. Food was GREAT both times. Their Betabel taco and French fries are AMAZING! We did wait a long time for our meals today, but there was a large group of people before us, so it was ok. Everyone was very friendly.

This restaurant has good vegetarian options. After reading the reviews we thought we would give this place a shot. We ordered beef tacos nachos burgers beet tacos tuna tostada and fried shrimp happy. The burgers were fantastic however the fries were over done and super thin. The beef tacos were not served hot and were Luke warm by the time they got to the table. Nachos had good flavor however the chicken on them was cubed and obviously reheated and hard. The tuna tostada things were okay....the best tacos were great. Service was wonderful. Great atmosphere.

Portion sizes are huge (big enough for 1 plate to be shared for 2 people), food is very delicious though! The grilled octopus was amazing, it came with such a flavour burst rice and good vegetables. Fish ceviche had no juice and was similar to a tuna salad. Had a beautiful view of the sunset!!

We were greeted by Rodney our bartender who made us perfect drinks and made us feel welcomed. We only had drinks but will come back later for food. Fresh squeezed fruit for cocktails. We came back for dinner, our server was great but most of our food was just average, a real disappointment. They also ran out of wine by the class, red and white?

I love the restaurant’s setting. Very relaxing with the beautiful ocean spread in front of us. I love that their salsa bar included a lot more than other places we went to. Unfortunately the lobster taco was very tough and I couldn’t eat

Yummmm you could almost make a meal out of the salsa side plate they bring out before your meal. 😉 Food was good. The Carne asda was a bit chewy and grisly but the lengua ( tongue) was very tender. Flavors were good. Cocktails were good. Looks like a relaxed locals spot. I trust the locals. 😊

The Filete de pescado al ajo was delicious, but the service left much to be desired. Upon arriving, I waited over 5 minutes just to get a menu, and after finishing my meal, I struggled to find someone to request the bill. Eventually, I had to go to the counter to pay. Unfortunately, I later realized I had been charged 298 pesos instead of 238 pesos. I’m unsure whether the cashier added a 25% tip without my consent or simply entered the wrong amount, but discovering this on my bank statement after returning home was deeply disappointing. I didn't take a physical receipt, so I couldn’t verify or contest the overcharge, but this experience felt incredibly disrespectful. Overcharging customers, whether intentional or not, is unacceptable. It overshadowed what could have been a great dining experience.

Hoped for better 🥴 Margaritas were okay, ribs were dry, & shrimp were cooked fine, the butter used for the dish tasted like 'movie theater butter'.

We went on a Tuesday early evening, it was quiet with some locals and also a group of tourists. The waiter was friendly and food was tasty! Meat on el pastor and chorizo was a little gristly but the gringa was delicious. Mango cake very nice. Recommend for any kind of taco you wish for. Also the central plate comes to all tables as standard! Guacamole especial was tasty

We went here on a recommendation of a friend. Sadly we were kind of disappointed. It smelled so good when we walked in and we were so hungry! ,We were a bit annoyed that they gave us two menus, one small one with prices and a big book with a ton of items all with the prices crossed off. What's the point of that? We just ordered off the small one. They were really understaffed and it took forever to get our drinks. The poor waiter, Mauricio, was running around fully stressed. Then the steak my husband ordered came 5 minutes before my tacos which is kind of strange I think. My husband ordered his steak medium rare and it came well done. My pastor taco was super dry. The arrachera and tripa tacos were better. It seems like a popular place so maybe it was just what we ordered. Or maybe it was an off night. Best thing was all the condiments they gave us with the chips and tacos. Then again the pico de Gallo was tasteless (I added salt and lime and a little chilli to pep it up a bit. ) Probably won't be going back here.

We visited for an early dinner after a long day traveling from the east coast of the US. Location is great, the restaurant has a non assuming character with affordable pricing. Seating was easily available. We started with margaritas- they were really nice and a big size without much added sugar or any weird orange flavors you sometimes get in the US. The lime flavor was perfect. The menu had many options but we chose using our local friend. I chose a taco paceño shrimp that locals favor. My wife had grilled octopus and grilled shrimp tacos. My empanadas were great. We also tried the onion rings but were a bit disappointed with the amount of oil… a large dish with too much oil can lead to discomfort later ;) The salsa bar had his selections for topping off the tacos. I heard that sometimes they have onion rings at that bar and maybe tasting one or two is enough. The main dishes were great, pricing was even better!! I highly recommend. 👍 if you find this useful

Really awesome place for affordable tacos right by the water. Order anything and you can access the free flow salad/garnish bar. The ceviche was fresh and fried seafood was done well.

This place has very good taco to choose from. I love their crispy fish and their octopus taco. The ceviche was very fresh and comes with large portion. They have a condiment bar in the middle restaurant for you to add any siding for your taco. Overall a great place to eat some cheap tocos.

Wow! We absolutely loved this place. They have so many different options for seafood tacos. We tried the scallop, crispy fish, and crispy shrimp as well as a shrimp empanada with cheese. It did not disappoint! Huge pieces of shrimp, freshest scallops I’ve had. The empanada was ridiculous almost the size of my forearm. The condiment bar was beautiful, so many different salsas, and veggies to make the tacos even better. We enjoyed it so much we ended up eating here twice. La Paz has been an amazing foodie trip we were not let down once which is quite rare.

We had an absolutely fantastic lunch at Claros Fish Jr. today! The food was truly delicious – we especially enjoyed the seafood dish baked in foil (the one with the octopus, shrimp, and fish was incredible!). Every bite was fresh and flavorful. But beyond the amazing food, the service truly stood out. Our server was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful dining experience. It's clear they take pride in their food and their customers. We highly recommend Claros Fish Jr. if you're in La Paz and looking for a superb seafood meal with top-notch service!

The food, ambience, and drinks are good. Nothing over the top or extraordinary. They did have a salsa, toppings, and condiments bar. It was very good, but I have concerns for food safety. It wasn't very busy, but it might be a problem if the restaurant gets crowded. I would recommend that they have extra fans because it gets very hot in July. The servers were helpful, again, nothing extraordinary. The restrooms do need some upgrades. The restaurant does not have parking, but there is street parking available, sometimes. . If I were in La Paz again, I would choose another restaurant for a better view. Prices were comparable to other restaurants in the vicinity.

We had an amazing meal at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. One of the great things about this place is that you can see the chefs cooking nearby, preparing the dishes with great skill and care. Their guacamole and seafood were outstanding—so fresh and flavorful. The octopus, in particular, was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. It was tender, slightly sticky in texture, yet still pleasantly chewy and packed with flavor. The prices were also very reasonable, making it a fantastic value. We stopped by for a quick lunch, but we left feeling completely satisfied. Highly recommend this place!

This is my favorite seafood place where I go with locals and love sharing with visitors. Mirsha Macklis, the owner, as well as other staff (Ariel, Lupita, Eric, and the chef, Tita, and more that I don't remember) are all phenomenal. They welcome you in English, if you're not comfortable with Spanish, and willingly answer all your questions. I've never had anything that was just mediocre but, my absolute favorite is to get the catch of the day as a "grilled fish fillet" with the side of vegetables. In fact, their veggies (which actually include slices of pear and apple in a light soy-based sauce) are so delicious I often ask for a double portion. The grilled fish fillet option comes with a topping of feta cheese and some other magic. The fish portions are large and perfectly grilled (I've often split the dish with a friend, just getting more of the veggies). They provide MANY condiments to choose from (like your own personal condiments bar). If your hearing is sensitive, I recommend seating in the "side room" (if it's dark, don't worry.... they'll gladly turn on the lights and/or fan for you), as the acoustics aren't the best in the main seating area and local musicians will occasionally come and perform with their own equipment for tips. Although I enjoy the music, it can be hard to hear conversations in that room. Go try McFisher's. They've been around for several decades and are a true Paceño institution. Ask Mirsha about his family history. You'll be glad you did.

Was recommended by another guest at our hotel as having the best fish tacos in town... These folks did not disappoint the fried fish and shrimp tacos were superb! My better half loved the grilled shrimp tacos as well. The service was spot on and friendly, even to a couple of spanish challenged gringos ;) Don't miss it!

Great Food and Friendly Service We had a great dinner here. The food was really tasty, and the staff gave us some excellent recommendations. Service was very friendly and professional — and the staff spoke great English, which made things easy. The atmosphere is relaxed and modern, with a cool, laid-back vibe. The seafood dishes were a real highlight — full of flavor and unlike anything we’ve had before. Prices are very fair for the quality. We’ll definitely be back — even if it means having dinner a bit earlier (the kitchen closes at 5:20 PM, so we made a 5:00 PM reservation). Well worth it.

Food was good. Service not so good. My wife ordered a shrimp cocktail which had about 20 shrimp and was very good. I had the weathered fish taco meal which came with 3 tacos with 6 pieces of fried fish on each taco for a total of 18 pieces of fish. I rather have too much food than not enough but this was over doing it! I was expecting some kind of slaw or something on the tacos. Nope, just fish and tortillas. Made for a very dry taco. Hiding under the tacos there was a green salad made out of stale, brown lettuce. We had to get up and get our own napkins and condiments. Once we got our food, the waiter never checked on us and my beer sat empty for the last 20 minutes of my meal. The entertainment was a guy pulling a speaker around while singing karaoke…

Didn’t have to walk too far from our camping area. Very good and reasonable price seafood. From fresh fish to octopus to clams and their infamous cocktails. We ordered the grilled octopus and ahi tuna with garlic sauce. The portions are huge can’t fish mine. They come with shrimp soup/broth with dinner. All the condiments to your choice. Service is very fast and friendly. Very island liked place to dine.

Love this restaurant! One of the best place to eat in La Paz! The food was very good and come with large portion. Price is slightly cheaper compared to those ocean side restaurants. Services was fantastic, got seated right away. Would definitely recommend this place to try for anyone who’s around. Only thing is this place open for breakfast and lunch only and closes at 2pm.

I found this spot about a year ago and come here everytime I come to La Paz. The best chilaquiles, home made tortillas and the French toast is to die for!! They have fresh juices and various types of coffee. So good!

This place was recommended to me by Reddit and I had to try it out. Came the first day at 2:30pm without checking their hours and they were closed already. Bummer! Came back the next day and OMG it blew us away! I LOVED the food here. Would have came back again if we had time but we were leaving La Paz the next day. A reservation is recommended since they seemed to be pretty busy. We were lucky to get seated right away. Typing this review right now wishing I was back in La Paz to come back here!

The food is always great! We come here over breakfast spots due to the service. Today Sofia took care of us and like always, it was a great experience. Generous food portions and try the corn muffin, it’s delicious!

What's not to love about eating Totoaba, a delicious endangered fish? But wait, the Totoaba is sustainably farmed by Earth Ocean farms, so don't feel guilty! This is their second location, the first is in El Triunfo. I'm not sure what the current situation is, but before the menu in El Triunfo offered more options. This location is great for fish and chips and ceviche, in a nice atmosphere. The jicama cole slaw is awesome!

This was some of the best fish and chips I've ever had and I've had many, all over the world. I'm not usually a fan of tarter sauce but theirs is really tasty (they wouldn't tell me their secret ingredient, lol). Their staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The tamarindo tequila (with tajin) slushy was quite interesting. It grew on me once I got past the unusual combination. The fish and oysters are from a fish farm north of the city. Don't ķow how sustainable it truly is as there is a lot of controversy over farmed fish. It's a brand new place so currently not a lot of customers. This is the second location for this restaurant (original is in Todos Santos). They have two sections with different menus, upstairs is only open after 9 pm. Downstairs is where they have a food truck concept, complete with a place to bus your own dishes, in a lovely open space with multiple shade sails. Only a half-block from the malecón (near the whale sharks sculpture). Looking forward to returning.

Best shrimp lemon pasta I've ever had in my life. Fresh, juicy oysters taste like they are caught straight off the ocean. Sashimi was fresh and tasty! Beautiful sunset along with dinner! Highly recommend!

decided to treat ourselves to a nice night out on the malecon to enjoy the weather and people watch. this restaurant did not disappoint. cat our waitress was attentive and responsive, what a pleasure the plating and atmosphere were excellent. the DJ even came over to ensure the music wasn't too loud! This is our third time at Casa Marte and every time we have a very nice time. We enjoyed the food, service, location, view and the atmosphere of this beautiful restaurant and city. Tonight we celebrated my bday and the hostess and our server were cute, professional and very attentive. Katherine make our night special. A friend recommended Dulce Romero, and wow—I’m so glad they did! I came solo on a busy Mother’s Day (without a reservation!) and still received wonderful, welcoming service. I had a mimosa, an iced coffee, and the chilaquiles with an over-easy egg—absolutely delicious. The space is cozy and charming, and the pastries looked incredible… I regret not grabbing one! I’ll definitely be back. A must-visit spot in La Paz for a relaxed and flavorful brunch.

We loved it here. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered an omelet with mushrooms and bacon. It came with great slices of bread and asparagus salad. The food tasted great and plentiful. You need to go to their shop across the street too. They had all kinds of freshly baked breads and other goods.

Been scoping this spot for weeks and finally dropped in when the pizza craving got too loud. Solid move on my part. The sourdough crust was unreal, chewy with just the right crunch, and the whole pie came out like it knew it was born to flex. Went with the Caprese even though I’m usually a meat guy, and it absolutely crushed. Free starter, agua del día, good vibes, and service that kept it smooth. Left stuffed, happy, and already wishing I had more time in town to post up again. Big vibes!

Found vegetarian options in sandwich and pizza. Their fruit juices and milkshakes were also very good. Tomato soup also good.

If you're looking for good quality fresh baked products, this is the place. I've been going to this bakery for over two years, always had a great experience, good food, no complaints. However, the last time that I was there, I accidentally forgot something that I purchased there, and forgot about it. When I went back the next time, weeks later, the staff. That kind of customer service paired with good food deserves a 7-star rating.

I highly recommend sitting on the patio. This is our second visit in 2 weeks. We’ve had the Lamb burritos (my partner went a second time just for this), pork soupe, Mediterranean fish, lasagna (big enough for 2), caeser salad (this I would give 4 stars), beet salad, pork tenderloin (ordered twice) and Chicken with mushroom gravy. All delicious. Service is also amazing.

We went twice. Once at brunch and again for dinner another night. The food is outstanding! The service is fabulous. The atmosphere was a bit loud but otherwise clean and bright! We had eggs Benedict, shrimp pasta, chicken mole, catch of the day. Everything was cooked perfectly and so full of flavour! The presentation was beautiful! They served meals with lot of fresh cooked vegetable. We had cream brûlée and carrot cake for dessert. The wine as excellent! No photos of the chicken and fish as we were quite excited to eat! Haha

We decided to try Nim after seeing all the good reviews online and it was one of the few restaurants that lived up to the hype. For drinks we got the tamarind and maracaya Mezcalitas which well both good followed by a michelada which was also good. For the food we got the shrimp ceviche which was so delicious that we ended up getting a 2nd order, 10/10. We also got the scallop aguachile which wasn't as good but still ok, 7/10. The tuna tartare was better though, 9/10. The bone marrow was served with tortillas instead of toast. It was good but was missing something, salt maybe, 7/10. For dessert we the brownie with ice cream which was as expected, 8/10. The flan was a tiny portion but delicious, 9/10. The baklava was the star of the desserts. It was three pieces and also came with a scoop of ice cream, 10/10. Service was good and the atmosphere was fine for this dinner.

This restaurant has a wide variety of Mexican and non-Mexican dishes to choose from. They have sea food, land animals, vegetarian food and more. The aesthetic is very modern and they are very accommodating to parties with children.

We were excited to try Sorstis from the web, and photos. Unfortunately disappointing. Cocktails were good, but when food came out , the flys were so bad you had to shouu, them away to take a bite. Seafood linguine overcooked, not linguine, but spaghetti. Half way through the meal waiter finally brought out a can to burn rosemary and lime to help keep them away. 😩. Bathrooms filed with flys , they should put several in there, and clean them. Not likely to go back!

Great selection in a nice environment. I have been here a couple of times and this place does not disappoint, I highly recommend the por ribs and the fruti di mare pasta, salads are great too.

We shared the fish carpaccio to start, they give you an assortment basket of fresh pastry breads. We had the duck and duo parmigiana for the entrees. The food was incredible, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was top knotch. We came early during sunset and it was beautiful. However, wear bug spray for the mosquitoes!

This has to be the best restaurant in La Paz. If it's not, it's definitely up there on the podium. Our family was seated after a short 3-5 minutes wait. The waiter made his introduction and started off with water. Provided a quick rundown of the specials as well as offering his recommendations. Gave us plenty of time to decide. Foods came out looking great and the taste was excellent. We enjoyed every dishes that were brought out. Between the fresh squeezed orange juice and mixed alcoholic drinks, it was a very enjoyable night. Definitely an elevated dining experience that we did not think existed in La Paz. Summary: The combinations of a great setting, with excellent services and foods, at a very manageable price make this a must place to visit!

It was the second time I have eaten there. I will not be back. The first time, a year ago was fine. This time I was joined by a friend. Both of us have had careers in hotels and restaurants in the US, Switzerland and Italy. The service was manipulative and obnoxious, the food just OK and the prices much higher than justified by the quality provided. These things that stuck out: The waiter made stupid gestures and expressions that may have meant to be charming in a petulant sort of way, but came off as disrespectful. The wine list was over-priced. And they were out of many things. After they said they did not have the first two wines I selected, they insisted I follow another staff member to the wine room, located in a small private dining room, which was occupied by diners at the time. I was forced to squeeze behind their chairs while they ate to get to the wine room door that could barely open due to the tight quarters, where I was presented with the most expensive of their wines, most costing 3x - 4x more than the ones I had tried to order sitting comfortably at our table. No price list was provided and so I was expected/encouraged to select blindly while my friend sat alone. When it was time to pay I used a card and in Mexico you are given the option to manually select a gratuity percentage from the handheld device. I noticed that the obnoxious waiter had scrolled down to the bottom of the screen so the options for 5% or 10% were no longer visible, only the option for 15% or more. There is no excuse for greedy and contemptuous service like this. Avoid this place.

OMG everything we had was AMAZING 👏 Our server Lorenzo? was super nice, even though it was close to closing time. Prices were also great for the quality they put out. Family of 6 went out and EVERYTHING was amazing. Maybe the arrugula raspberry salad was a little too sweet/ had too much dressing for me, but aside from that everything was 🔥 (couldn't figure out how to post a picture here)

Food was good and the ambience was great. Highly recommend this place, but come hungry because the portions are big.

was recommended this place from our hotel receptionist as the best coffee in la paz. right after our first time, i had to come here every morning for the rest of the trip. coffee is delicious, the pastries especially las dobladitas de mango maracuya (pasionfruit) y guayabana are insanely good and their merch is cute ! would highly recommend people to grab a drink and a pastry here or just to shop their merch. you can easily see and taste that everything is made in house and with lots of care.

They have a wonderful coffee menu with lots of exotic choices. The Wi-Fi was strong. We love the coffee flights, the espresso tonic and the matcha tonic.

It’s a cute café and they have a great selection of different drinks and refreshments. We got a kombucha and a CBD drink. They have as well a little shop with hats and shirts. For my liking it’s a little too busy but everyone has different preferences 😊the service was decent but nothing outstanding.

I have been traveling for the past 5 years of my life, been in 3 different continents, 32 countries, taste pizza in every single city I have been in, and I'm honored to say this is the most disgusting pizza I have ever eat in my entire life. Service is great, waiters are nice, coffee is really good. I mean it could be an attraction, come in 12 cuarenta, eat the most disgusting pizza in the entire world. Pretty sure people will come and eat just for the laughs. Have a great day.

Really great service at this location. I got the cold brew and it was delicious. Also picked up a bag of beans roasted just 5 days ago. Love that! Multiple bean varieties, mugs, canvas bags, and mug/cup varieties to choose from if you need a good souvenir.

We got a few dishes and drinks. First, the special shrimp pasta, the shrimp was small and overcooked/previously frozen like. The pasta was good but the sauce had some sweet taste. Second, the Greek salad, it was mostly bell peppers, should have changed the name to the pepper salad. The drinks were ok. We would try other things on the menu if return.

Do not buy a take-away pizza there, it will be significantly smaller than when you order and eat in the restaurant. I am not happy any longer with this restaurant, we went there 4 times in the last 2 months. the quality went from surprisingly good to really bad. The first 2 times pizza was great, the 3th time the Capriccios was horrible, they put so much stuff on it that it was still rare. Bit size was always okay, we ordered always 2 large pizza for us and 1 kid. This time I ordered the same pizzas for take away, large size. So I paid the full price, 495 pesos, 2 large salami. But the size was significant smaller. Their large pizza is even smaller than a "normal" sized pizza in my country. how small can you go? How does a normal pizza look like if this is Large? see my images. that's it, we won't come again.

Fuego y Leña had me at the word fire. Open air, stars overhead, and a wood-fired vibe that just works. The staff are friendly, prices are reasonable, and the handmade pasta is fresh. The pizza menu looks stacked—I’ll be back to work my way through it.

Service is excellent, red wine served cold which is very unorthodox. Pizza ingredients were fresh and of good quality. My only recommendation as a chef is to bake the pizza at a higher temperature like we do in Italy. The horno oven they have here is a beautiful capable oven. Use the oven properly and do not disrespect the pizza 🤌

We stayed just a couple of minutes away from this lively little restaurant and ended up visiting three times. The pizzas were decent, and while the carbonara was a bit on the dry side, everything else was enjoyable. The service was excellent, and the drinks were reasonably priced. On one visit, we swapped jalapeños for black olives on a pizza and were surprised to be charged extra — not a big deal, but it felt unnecessary for a simple ingredient swap.

Really good pizza, super close to good ones I have tried in big cities. It could be even thinner like bonafide Neapolitan pizza usually is. 4 cheese pasta was REALLY delicious, just a tad overcooked. The let down was the wine for sure. They have really good Italian fare, why not have great wine? I suggested Montepulciano as it’s the one that goes best with brick oven pizza. The concha y toro tasted like cheap grape juice with alcohol.

We haven’t been able to find a better pizza back home in California since I returned 6 months ago. We stayed a month in La Paz right around the corner and were here every few days. The pizza was amazing and the staff even more so. This is the first review I’ve written really anywhere and decided to just because I’ve been missing it. Our waitress was great and loved babies so always asked if she could hold ours to give us a some time to eat. Thank you guys! And we plan on being back soon

Lovely, fresh seafood with generous portions. The whole fried snapper, fish ceviche and seafood soup were really well done. The potato salad side dish with the mains was very good as well. Live music on a Wednesday night and busy enough without being crowded. Friendly service. Located at the marina, street parking adjacent. Indoor and outdoor seating. No issues with bathrooms, hygiene or flies whatsoever.

Unfortunately, my recent dining experience fell far short of expectations. I ordered the breaded shrimp, while my wife chose the fish fillet wrapped with shrimp. Regrettably, her dish arrived undercooked, which was deeply concerning. The restaurant’s sanitation issues were impossible to overlook. The space was overrun with flies, which buzzed aggressively around the tables and even landed on our food. To compound matters, several birds lingered near the seating area, seemingly scavenging for leftovers. While I offered them a bit of food, their proximity to our plates added to the overall discomfort. The restroom conditions were equally troubling. One of the urinals was leaking from the base, prompting the staff to place a bucket beneath it—a makeshift solution that felt unhygienic and poorly maintained. Most alarmingly, my wife fell ill shortly after our meal, experiencing diarrhea and vomiting. We cannot overlook the possibility that this was linked to the undercooked food or unsanitary environment. I shared feedback with the waitress, suggesting the use of fly deterrents. While I hope management takes these issues seriously, the combination of food safety lapses, pest problems, and neglected upkeep has left us with no desire to return. This experience was deeply disappointing, and I cannot recommend this establishment in its current state.

Very cool and all, but I feel that they have no organization. I feel that a website would be good for them to be able to make reservations, attend to the staff and things like that. It is more mobilized, apart from that, it would be the best for everyone.

Ordered the fish fillet with butter sauce. Large, tasty portion served with salad and rice. Reasonably priced and decent ambiance. Service could be better but the food is good as it attracts many locals.

You cannot get better than a restaurant ON the marina. So gorgeous and really delicious as well. I had the fish tacos and they were great. Was on a whale shark tour with Cabo Adventures and we ate here after the tour.

Best vegan food in Baja, potentially in all of Mexico! Such care and thought out into all of the dishes, the falafel was amazing and tasty, the tzatziki soya was thoughtful and delicious (I’m allergic to soy and this had no affect on me!). Wow. And the BEST French fries I’ve ever had!!

There's something really special about this place! The menu is short but everything is cooked to order and the flavours are fantastic. Loved the tzatziki! They also have great drinks (I loved the schorle) and desserts (homemade cookies, apple/fruit pies etc.) on offer. The service is fantastic, too. Definitely one of the best, if not the best, vegan places in La Paz 🌱💚

A true pearl of healthy 100% vegan food in this city. Everything is made fresh by the very friendly owner! The seating in the back is quiet and very pretty. We took the Athena Warp. Strongly recommend 😀 The owner also gave us some local advice for other delicious places to visit!

Excellent vegan restaurant in La Paz, the Venus burger is of the best burgers I’ve had! Very friendly hardworking couple who owns it. Super cute little back patio where you can sit and eat. We went twice while in La Paz, highly recommend!

Great Vegan Restaurant! My husband and I had burgers with a side salad. They were both delicious! Mine was lentil and quinoa based. And his was chick peas and beet based. The salad was fresh. The little courtyard in the back was nice to eat at. On a whim we each got cookies to go and they were great too! A nice alternative to tortillas and beans! We chatted with Tyler the owner too, great guy!

Such a lovely vegan oasis! The food is excellent, the water of the day is refreshing, the staff are friendly, and the back patio with Wi-Fi is a peaceful place to eat and work on your laptop (or park your bike). In addition to prepared food (wraps and sandwiches), they also sell legumes, seeds, and whole grains. A delightful place to visit!!

This was a great "off the tourist path" Taquira that serves fish tacos. Servings were gigantic and the price is cheap. Cash only but it appeared the taco place served mostly locals so I could see why they don't have a digital terminal. The place closes earlier than most and also was closed one day during the week too as we tried to go back as it was so good the first time.

Amazing tacos, I like the original taco, the fired one also very interesting, best to order are fish and shrimp taco, and 1 fried taco either stingray or marlin. Add any topping you want, which amazing. I notices All good tacos place have this element. Didn't try their soup, next time =) Love the corner seat, nice and relax.

Tried this local favorite after it was recently by my Didi driver and it was incredible! I had the Tacos with Pescado, Cameron and a quesadilla de marlin all were delicious- worth the effort to get there as it's not quite by the main tourist area.

Spent a week travelling around La Paz, Todos Santos and Cabo San Lucas and this place had the best fish tacos by far. Huge portion size and great prices too.

I read some good reviews of this local restaurant and wanted to try it out. I ate fish tacos in six different restaurants while I was in Baja and the fish tacos here were easily the best. The fish was very tasty and perfectly fried where it had a nice crunch. Each taco had a generous amount of fish and I think they were also the least expensive tacos of the trip. The restaurant has a small condiment bar with all the key ingredients to make great fish tacos. This restaurant is well worth walking 4-5 blocks from the malecon to eat where the locals eat.

Great value and super tasty. I'd recommend the Marlin quesadillas, they were amazing.

Decent fish and shrimp tacos in a rustic environment. Not as good as Taco Fish in my opinion, and visibly a lot less clean, but still worth a visit. 2 tacos plus a drink ran about 70 pesos and made a very filling lunch.

Family and I have eaten at Bismark seafood restaurant for nearly 8 years. Our dine-in experience has been a hit or miss. When we do visit La Paz, Bismark is usually not our go-to seafood restaurant. Basically, it would all depend on what type of food we were in the mood for and how much we were willing to spend. A couple weeks ago, on a recent visit to La Paz, my friends and I were craving lobster. Although, personally not a lobster fan, I joined the group anyway as it was their first time at Bismark (one friend has never been to La Paz). It was Tuesday around 7pm. Lots of tables, indoor and out. I recall seeing several other customers scattered all over the large open-setting ocean view restaurant. More waiters were working, also scattered throughout the entire large establishment, appearing to look busy. Alejandro was our server for the evening. He was basic, nothing over the top. Our order: lobster, clams, Campenchana mix, gobernador shrimp tacos, seafood tostadas and other appetizers. We didn’t get the opportunity to eat at the same time as the $80 lobster dish arrived later, almost 45 minutes later than the rest of our order. The shrimp tacos had to be sent back because the tortilla shells were served wilted and not fried and crunchy. Nonetheless, we had no further issues, our dinner was good. The salsa bar could have used some attention. Lots of free parking in back of restaurant.

Great place, old style, quiet and superb food quality. No problem reserving table but better be sure because there is only 9 big tables, that make it special.

I ordered lobster soup and stuffed crab. They were both ok. I wanted to taste more of the actual meat instead of too much mixed taste with other stuff. The salsas and the dips for the tortillas at the table were so delicious though!

The food here was amazing! Basiliio was a great server. My girlfriend and I started off with a bottle of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc and ordered a both the ribeye and yellowtail tacos… PERFECT! Good prices for high end dining and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend coming here!

Quickly became our favorite. The atmosphere is relaxed yet upscale. Our favorite was the rib eye. It was cooked to perfection. The table side Caesar salad, marrow bones, and elotes rounded out a great meal.

This place was incredible. The service was 10/10 and the food, the food was immaculate. We ordered 4 drinks plus the Caesar salad, wood fire grilled jumbo prawns, black squad pasta with shrimp and a 17oz ribeye. Everything came out on time and was more than we can ask for. The price for our meal was $200USD. You can’t get this for tag price in the states with the service we got. Only negative was the mosquitos

I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. Is a very good place for some special occasions or just simple for a great casual night. their menu is very narrow but they do have great choices. Maybe my only comment would be on the portion size, every time I go I see smaller portion sizes so, this will be something to pay attention in the near future, same great flavor and quality of food. Tuetanos is one of my favorite appetizers.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Dining here was not just disappointing it was a total waste of time, energy, and money. It was a slow night as well, no is no reason why we could not have a great experience! Let’s start with the service: Our server was, quite literally, the most disconnected and emotionless person I’ve ever encountered in hospitality. There was no greeting, no check-in, no "how is everything?" Nothing. Never came to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything else. Not even a glance to acknowledge we existed once the food hit the table. The entire team seemed more engaged with their phones than the guests. I watched servers and runners openly scrolling and chatting in visible guest areas like it was a break room, not a restaurant. Completely unprofessional. Now the food… where do I begin? Everything from start to finish was lackluster, bland, and poorly executed. The dishes arrived looking like they were slapped together in a hurry, no care, no flavor, no effort. Tableside Caesar, what a joke! I’ve had better meals on the street. Drinks? Do they even clean their ice machine or wheverever they keep their ice, black specks in our drinks, plates dirty, etc! But the final offense? The crème brûlée. Dessert is supposed to be the grand finale, the highlight, the moment of redemption, but this was the final nail in the coffin. Half the ramekin was empty. Literally. Like they just forgot to finish filling it. Are you kidding me?! I don’t know if it was laziness, arrogance, or just a complete lack of standards, but serving that was insulting.

Ended up coming here twice we enjoyed it so much! Great service, good cocktails, and the food was amazing. Their complimentary wood fired bread and olive oil was delicious! Our favorite dishes: Caesar salad, crab Montadito, bone marrow, black noodles (even better the second time because it had more sauce and they had added Parmesan cheese! Yum!)

The food was fantastic, and the place wasn't crowded when we visited. The outside seating felt like an oasis. Highly recommend it. The dishes were delectable and truly delicious.

Be mindful, portions here are huuuuge! Hubby and I stopped by from our beach daytrip and let me tell you, it was 100% worth it. Not only is the food delicious, but the prices are great considering how much you're getting in exchange. The view is beautiful and tje staff pretty helpful. Only thing is that the food may take a while, but considering how much it was, no complains.

I've eaten at El Molinitos many a times with family and friends. It has been one of my go-to seafood restaurants on the malecon. I remember the restaurant in its earlier "palapa" days and now with their second story and front expansion, one would never believe El Molinitos was a palapa. Change is good. Besides the spacious open setting interior, there's also lots of parking in the back of the restaurant. It was near closing time when we arrived. Ourselves and other customers (upstairs) were about the only ones Donna was our server. No complaints from my traveling group and I. However, wish Donna could have warned us about the albondigas soup taking longer than the other dishes. The group had already received their food; the soup finally arrived 30 minutes later. El Molinitos has never disappointed, simply satisfied on each visit. I don't recall portioning being skimped. If anything, left-overs are taken home. To add, food price will not break your pocket book. Perhaps, one day, they will be able to offer taste-worthy and a larger selection of desserts. Overall experience at El Molinitos was a good one. We plan to return the next time we visit La Paz. Give El Molinitos a try.

We loved eating here. We had dinner 3 out of 4 nights here in La Paz. We recommend the pescado zarandeado or pescado zarandeado especial. Rocio and Ismael provided us with quality service.

The salsa and chips were tasty, but I was not impressed with my pescado tacos. They were fine, they just weren't impressive. A good view of the sunset.

I love the ocean breeze while you eat here. Everything was really good. If you want fresh seafood, this is the place. We caught Durado, yellow fin tuna, and wahoo in the morning and ate them that night sushi style, also fish tacos with rice and sashimi. Best sashimi I've ever had. The staff were very helpful and attentive. You will be very well taken care of when you come to this place. The decor is nice, it's clean, they have live music most nights and the food is good. Great combo, don't you think? 😉

It's a great local seafood place. I would give 5 stars for food and 3 for service. That's why it's 4 :-). Menu is in Spanish only so it's quite hard to understand and staff is not very friendly and attentive. Fish soup is great, fish tacos were deep fried, but maybe it's due to lack of my Spanish. Prices are local rather then touristy.

Only redeeming factor is the location and view. This place used to be amazing but has become a do not waste your money. There are several other options with better food, better service for the same or better price. Today the service was horrible! All the waiters acted like we were a burden to them and could not wait to leave the table. They barely answered the questions we had and were quick to leave. We did not have the same waiter throughout the meal, it was a new one for our order, the drinks, the food, etc. No one came to check on us and we were having to chase them down to order and get the check. On top of the bad service, the food was only alright. We got the garlic shrimp plate, arrachera plate, and a shrimp ceviche tostada. The total was over $50 usd. The quality of the food was not great. The rice was sticky and old. Red rice shouldn’t be bland and sticky. The veggies were over cooked and mush. Potato salad had zero flavor. Not worth the money you are paying for the quality of what is delivered. Keep looking and try somewhere else.

Lovely location right on the malecon with curbside seating. The food was great - big portions and affordable! The service was a bit slow, but otherwise a great place.

I’ve walked by this place a hundred times and finally popped in for dinner during Carnaval. Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. The fish soup is one of the best I’ve had in La Paz. Coconut Shrimp was also tasty. Good portions too. It’s a casual place, and the interior vibe is nothing special. But I’ll definitely be back for the soup at an outdoor table. No frills, good seafood.

The beans were way too sweet. Like eating a cup of honey. I asked the old female server to exchange it for something else. She said that's just how it is, it's sweet and wanted to charge me for an exchange. Terrible service.

So glad to find this place. I’ve been particularly craving BBQ ribs and these hit the spot 🎯. The brisket sandwiches were delicious too! And sweet potato fries, baked potato and sweet corn topped it all off. Nice options to sit indoors or outdoors. Definitely recommend!

Ribs were absolutely delicious, and one of the few places that had a staff member that spoke English, which is appreciated as someone not fluent.

We did not enjoy this place because the food was nothing special and nothing blew us away to make us want to come back. The ribs are decent but they're boiled. Proper ribs should be boiled and then charred on a grill or bbq for that cripyness and extra flavor. The mac and cheese was probably the only thing that I liked, although the mac and cheese pasta pieces were extremely tiny. The baked potatoe was severely disappointing because it was served cold. The baked beans tasted like they came out of a can and were reheated. They could have used something extra to spice them up, such as some bacon pieces. We have yet to find a restaurant in La Paz that we really like with really good food but maybe we are spoiled coming from Puerto Vallarta, where it is a foodies heaven.

We ordered the fall-off-the-bone ribs, 4 selections of squeeze-on sauce, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I had the Mac & cheese, it was okay. My husband had the fresh cut fries, very good. My wine wasn't too bad, I have to say, lol!

Best sandwich I've had in La Paz. I got the chicken sandwich with fries, my friend got the brisket sandwich with fries, and we got a half rack of ribs. It was all great! The meat on the ribs fell off the bone. The sandwich was fantastic. The fries were fresh cut. They also had several different kinds of barbeque sauce for the food as well. Update, I went again several years later, it is still very good. One person with us said she didn't like ribs, then after trying them, she ate more than a half a rack.

We've been told about the tacos by a local and while being in La Paz we decided to try it. It was by far the best fish tacos I've ever had - so delicious! The staff was so nice and friendly as well. If we ever get to visit La Paz again that's where we'd go to.

Delicious fish tacos and worth trying if you are in La Paz. They bring the tacos to your table and there is a condiments bar where you can add different toppings and sauces. There is also private parking if you are driving here so very convenient

We had high expectations for this place for being well known restaurant. Unfortunately the food was not all that. The fish was bland and the toppings did not add a lot of flavor to it. Still a solid place to have tacos but nothing special. BTW shrimp was better than the fish and the marlin was also a good choice.

Wow! This is where you want to go for amazing fish tacos! Food comes out hot, fresh, and crispy. Toppings bar is full and well maintained with lots of fresh options -- Pico, slaws, peppers, onions, and about 50 different sauces. It is inexpensive, easy, and gets you off the main drag to see some of actual La Paz.

Taco Fish in La Paz is an absolute must visit! We went here with a group of four for lunch and it was so good we ended up coming back for a second round. This spot is super casual with an awesome locals vibe, but the flavors are what really blew us away. I ordered the crab crunchy taco, shrimp crunchy taco, and the fish taco—all of them were incredible. We also got a mixed seafood ceviche for the table to share, which was super fresh and packed with flavor. The salsa bar was next level with such a huge selection of hot sauces, salsas, and toppings. Nice to customize each bite, especially for this spice queen. Hard to pick a favorite because everything was so good! The prices are super reasonable, making it an easy and budget-friendly spot to grab a delicious meal. Whether you’re just visiting or live nearby, Taco Fish is the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

The food and desserts were great. I'm not sure what was going on but the menu was really small. Definitely a great view of the water from just about every table.

Sashimi & Ceviche were delicious. Our Server Max, “Hacha” was extremely helpful, cordial, and friendly. Front view of the habor was romantic. Come here to dine one some delicious, get a drink, and relax by the water.

After ordering and receiving the wrong meals, taking what we wanted and sending the rest back we finally settled in for a great meal, most of the confusion was lost in translation since we speak little Spanish and they the same with English. All our food was great and the prices were very reasonable.

Amazing gelato! Went back every chance we could while in La Paz. The vegan chocolate is phenomenal — the best dairy-free ice cream I’ve ever had. My husband enjoyed the vanilla and pecan flavors. And the espresso is lovely — rich, strong, and delicious. Highly recommend!

Truth be told, one of my friends had to use the restroom and Giuletta y Romeo happened to be in the area with a bathroom. Some of us bought coffee (liked it👍🏼), sat around outside, basically wasted time before heading off to the airport. Good experience at Giuletta Y Romeo.

We went on a Sunday night fortunately before the crowd came. I had a double scoop of Philadelphia cream cheese and strawberry (delicious!). My wife had a scoop of one of the coffee flavors and a scoop of chocolate which she really enjoyed. Can't speak for my wife's but mine was very thick, creamy and tasty. The staff were helpful and kept things moving even as the crowds grew. We sat outside at one of the tables and people watched. We'll return to try other flavors. Definitely recommend.

Phenomenal food at good prices, everything was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble, explanations in both Spanish and English, which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this restaurant and I will continue to dine here. It is also a very beautiful restaurant with excellent views of the sunset.

The top floor is the pizza restaurant- it’s not on Google map but it’s part of the Oliva - best pizza I’ve had in Mexico! The taste, the presentation, the service, are all top notch. 5 out of 5! Update: we checked out the oliva al mar proper: and it was also very good. Since many people liked cocktails, I ordered a la Cubana: refreshing and very strong. The fish of the day was a little salty for me but my friend liked it a lot (my taste is lighter than the most), and the crispy skin was delicious. The beet salad was very interesting too. And the 70% chocolate cake was probably the best. Based on my personal experience, i think the pizzas are the best, better than the main restaurant, but both are very good and the service was friendly, professional and attentive in both. And after dark when the lights come on, it was very romantic and intimate. A good date spot if anyone is considering.

Last night I had a wonderful dinner at Oliva al Mare in La Paz. The atmosphere was delightful, with a great view of the malecon and the water from the outdoor seating area. The restaurant itself has a warm, rustic charm with beautiful wooden doors and a cozy interior. For dinner, I ordered a delicious margarita pizza which was absolutely perfect. The crust was a nice blend of crispy and chewy, and the fresh basil leaves and mozzarella were excellent. I also enjoyed a glass of red wine, which paired perfectly with the meal. It was so relaxing to read my book and enjoy a great meal and a glass of wine. The service was attentive and the staff was very welcoming. I would highly recommend Oliva al Mare for anyone looking for a great Italian meal with a fantastic ambiance in La Paz.

Always come here every trip to La Paz. All dishes are delicious. The fresh bread, the pasta, entrees, salad, appetizer, and desserts. The view is one of the best on Malecon. However, the service is not good. We were the only table and could not get anyone's attention. They all were on cellphones and avoided eye contact.

If you're in La Paz, you have to stop by Pan D'Les Bakery! This charming artisan bakery, owned by Carlos, is a hidden gem. Carlos is incredibly authentic, and you can feel how much he values your business. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the warm scent of freshly baked breads, each more delicious than the last. Their morning pastries are a must-try, and the sweet potato offering is a delightful surprise. Fresh fruit accompanies many of their treats, making every visit feel wholesome and special. It’s truly a place where both the food and the people make you feel at home. Highly recommend!

They are super nice. The only reason I gave 4/5 is because I have celiac disease, so I had there Gluten Free muffin and it got me sick. I suspect it had gluten, maybe they got cross-contamination. This won’t stop me from returning, i had their GF cookies and bread with no problems and there where good. Plus they are lovely people that put a dedication in their work. But if you have celiac disease please be be careful with the muffins, it might save you a couple of sick days.

We enjoyed pastries from Pan D’Les multiple times during our stay in La Paz! The chocolate croissants and brownies were delicious but our kids’ fave hands down were the mocha eclairs! Great service and delicious food!

My favorite panadería! Always good to come by here. Both of baking stuff and sweets are very good. There are couple of tables available so grab a seat with some treats for yourself when need some rest.

I thought I’d start bread making now that I’m retired, but why when Pan D’Les makes the perfect loaves of bread. I’m smitten with their Rustica Italiano and their Ciabatta.

Carlos is such a nice man and very talented. His chocolate brownies, ginger cookies and zucchini muffins are 5 🌟. Secretly, his Americano in a China cup is possibly beat tasting in Esterito. Treat him special. We give him our business as much as possible.

Exactly what you want!! A simple shop specializing in delicious fried seafood tacos! Go up to the cashier and order what you want, pay, they will give you a ticket. Go stand in line for the guy making the food. He will take your ticket and hand you your food there. The tacos are huge portions, I could barely eat two!! But they were delicious and the sauces provided were great as well. Cash only I believe.

We visited La Paz for a couple of days and we were looking for authentic Mexican food and found this place. Let me just say that the food was amazing! I wish we had time to come back to try other stuff, but time ran out. Fish tacos were amazing and so are the aguas frescas! Definitely recommend this place 👌

This place is one of the most popular with the locals. Everyone talks about it and the lineup lets you know they do food right and they are reasonable prices. The people are amazing and friendly and the food was fresh and delicious and you get enough toppings to fill two tortillas they give you. The toppings bar had lots of options and sauces. Top picks were fish or shrimp tacos and the marlin empanada.

These are the typical, traditional Baia tacos: breaded fish, shrimp, marlin and ray. You can’t go wrong with the breaded fish or shrimp taco. Then you have the salsa bar with a good varietyand you can add as much as you want. The best food I had in Baja Sur.

If you want a family owned Mexican restaurant experience, it's great. If you want the experience you would expect from a restaurant in the US, not so much. They don't speak English and only take cash. But we loved it.

It’s a street stand with plenty of covered seating inside. Four tacos for less than 200 pesos. We had shrimp and fish tacos that were amazing! The meat is fried and they have a lot of things to put on the tacos. Great find!!

Tex Burger has a prime location along the Malecón and a rooftop with a great view. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the setting. My Caprichosa burger was soggy, bland, and overloaded with condiments. It fell apart after a few bites. I also tried the lemon pepper wings, which were also soft, underseasoned, and lacked any real flavor. While the view and service were nice, the food was a real disappointment. With so many better dining options nearby, Tex Burger isn’t worth a visit.

My burger was very good. But, 15mins after received my burger I finally got my fries and onion rings and wings. And it was extremely cold. They apologize and put it on the house which was very nice of them. However, I was just sharing my experience.

Well, we wanted to give this place a good review, especially because we’re Texans. We came on the recommendation of a friend without reading previous reviews (which we typically do). We believe they must stay busy merely for the fact that they’re located on the Malecón. There is another location in town that we haven’t been to. Maybe it would be a different experience. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We started with receiving our Agua Fresca Jamaica and having to spit the petals out as we drank it. Then, it took almost an hour to get our food. As opposed to orders being delivered individually per table as they’re ready, they did like a “mass delivery” with multiple tables’ orders on one tray. The food was warm but not hot. The hamburger buns were soggy because they basically rinsed the lettuce and threw it on the burger sopping wet. They did have good flavor though. The basket of fries weren’t quite “undercooked” but weren’t hot and crispy for sure. I took a video and pic of the atmosphere upon arrival because we always love a water view. I forgot to take a picture of the food when it arrived because we were so hungry. Sorry for the half eaten pictures. Can’t say I’d recommend this place. There are plenty of others to choose from. And it’s more and more common that I find we have to give poor reviews to the most touristy and, often most expensive places. Fortunately, this one wasn’t too expensive. Enter at your own risk. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Fast food on the Malecón. They have a huge variety of burgers to chose from. Good value and inexpensive, for what it is.

FLIES BY THE BAR🛑 The service was horrible, it took forever to get my food. The wings were amazing after the long wait. I definitely recommend the boneless wings if your going to eat there. The burgers do not come with Fries so you have yo order it on the side. Also it seemed like nobody bothered to wash any cups, they just keep stacking them up on the bar and Flys would swarm up and fly by my table. Also they play super loud music which is obnoxious, if I wanted to go to a club I would go to a club instead. Deffinelty do not recommend this place.

Just ate here last night and it was not worth the wait. It was packed, we sat on the upstairs balcony which is about the only good thing about the meal. Playing on the speakers at full blast was blaring sirens and some music. It took 20 minutes for someone to take our order. The drinks were so watered down I'm not even sure there was alcohol in mine. I watched for 1 hour while waiting for our food, the waitresses carrying around many peoples orders of food not knowing what table to take them to. They would walk outside and all over the restaurant asking people what they ordered while the food got cold in the brisk wind. Our table ordered 2 order of onion rings, 2 burgers and 6 wings. The burgers were okay, not great not bad. My onion rings which I waited a hour for, included 5 small very cold onion rings. Not even good onion rings, the small frozen kind Burger king serves. I was so disappointed.

Ordered a Jake and Coke from waiter, waited 20 minutes with no drink. Went to the bar and asked where it was and they said they had no Jake. No one bothered to tell me. I wouldn’t go back.

Excellent place to get some breakfast and lunch. Cafe Nomada has some great food. I've tried the avocado 🥑 toast with egg (amazing), the Acai bowl with coconut, fresh fruit and granola, and the Enchiladas Verdes and you can't go wrong ordering any of these menu items.

Went to have breakfast. My friend and I enjoyed the chilaquiles. The green sauce was very good and the eggs cooked perfectly. The only issue was the tortilla in the chilaquiles, very soggy. The green juice with Orange juice combo was refreshing. Our waitress, a kind lady with dark hair, was very friendly and attentive.

Ate here 3 times. Probably the best vegan food in La Paz plus they have plenty of vegetarian and meat options for everyone too. I always got the nomad vegan sadwhich which is their best entre. Also tried the tofu scramble and enmoladadas. Their smoothies and juices are amazing, tried a few different ones and they're all highly recommended. They sell hard to find organic grocery items too which were helpful for cooking in our airbnb. Fantastic service 👌 plus they have a very nice dog that our kids fell in love with

The vegan options here are so tasty and so filling! We came here for brunch twice on our trip and loved it both times. Great friendly service and really yummy flavors! The pesto in the vegan sandwich is just so good! Lots of avocado in it too makes for a 10/10 veggie sandwich that isn't lacking in satisfaction whatsoever!

Side salad was surprisingly delicious and so was eh rest of the food. The juices are fresh but the quantity can be better. Overall, a pinch pricey but great place for a healthy lunch

I love Maurizio's passion: passion for food and cooking, for the local culture, for his own Scottish-Italian heritage and his wife's Mexican heritage, and for life in general. I'm honestly not crazy about every single flavor I've tried here but that's to be expected (and I still am working my way through the menu!) but I am crazy about supporting this lovely human being and his cooking adventures. I particularly appreciate his freshly made pastas, sauces, and infused olive oils. Oh, and you mustn't forget to sample ALL the desserts, lol. I'm so glad that he moved to this location as it's a wonderful space, in a lively neighborhood. I look forward to continuing to try more of his dishes.

Was keen to try this place at the new location on Heroico Colegio Militar after months of checking if it had reopened. We were not disappointed. The pasta is all hand made by the owner. His raviolis were stuffed with spinach and cheese and the sage butter sauce was very good. I personally like the fettuccine carbonara or alio olio e pepperoncino. His tiramisu is very good. It is assembled right before serving so it is not soggy. His meringues are done perfectly. I also recommend his rosemarry panna cotta as well as his beignets. For those who eat meat his meatballs are quite good with an excellent texture. The new location is in a locals neighborhood in Esterito with shade and fans for hot days. I will miss his sage butter sauce.

A friend suggested this place and are we glad she did!. We ordered Fettuccini Carbonara, lasagna, meatballs, and tiramisu. All were delicious. The service was excellent as well. The prices were very reasonable.

Delicious authentic Italian pastas and desserts handmade with love by the owner, Mauricio. We had homemade fettuccine with a few different sauces. Bread with tons of different olive oils. Of course, amazing tiramisu! Strongly recommend to try this one though. You will want to come back, as we did!

We absolutely loved this restaurant! It was our first time in Mexico, and since it was low season, things were a bit quiet — but we actually preferred it that way. The waitress was excellent, very knowledgeable about the dishes, super attentive ,friendly overall good vibes. This is where I tried mole and a garnacha for the first time . IMO they served the best tacos I’ve had while I was in La Paz. If you’re visiting La Paz, you should definitely come here. The lady who served us was very friendly, kind, and spoke English perfectly. In one if our visits there was a pleasant surprise of a mariachi band Prices are a slightly on the higher side, but the quality absolutely matches. Perfect spot for couples or solo travelers wanting to experience authentic Mexican cuisine for the first time. If we lived in Mexico, we’d definitely be regulars — that’s how much we enjoyed this place. Oh, and compliments to the chef — the passion fruit Mezcalitas were amazing too!

Absolutely wonderful! Last night we went here for our second time and it was a great as the first. The Beef Rib and bone-in Pork entrees were incredibly expertly prepared. Perfect temperatures, amazing sauces mixed with superb vegetables, and first class seasoning. The chef is a master for sure. Add the incredibly friendly, efficient and attentive wait staff, and this place is extremely deserving of its high ratings. Suggest reservations by calling or using opentable.

A true gem in La Paz! The service, food, and atmosphere were all 10/10⭐️ Marco was a fantastic bilingual server who explained each dish perfectly. The shrimp soup was creamy and comforting, and the costillas were “fall-off-the-bone,”delicious. Tip: for patio seating, go at or after sunset, it can be a bit warm before then. Highly recommend!

Exquisite and very rich flavors in each dish Which are all remarkable. 3 different appetizers plus the pulpo main would have been perfect for 2 but we had another taco added to try so we didnt have room for dessert. The passion fruit mezcalito, the sauce with the chips and our dishes were all superb. My tongue was dancing with the complicated taste. The plaintain molote was our fave considering im not even a mole person. Our top resto in our 10 day La paz experience. Super worth it! Staff were very knowledgeable and wonderful.

It was the last day during our trip and we wanted to get the best meal. We were amazed by our waiter Angel and his enthusiasm. The food was delicious and one of the best meals we ate during our visit. Thank you for bringing back memories to our palate :)

Food was so good. We got several tacos amd they were great. The pork taco was our favorite. We got the octopus and that was one of the best.

We were looking for a place that served authentic local food, had a great atmosphere, and good service. We got it all at this adorable restaurant. The staff really cared about making our experience really great. The local menu was amazing and everyone loved their food. They didn’t have a lot of vegetarian options on the menu, but when we asked, they whipped the most amazing meal together for my daughter. The courtyard is adorable and I would definitely go back!

In my very honest opinion, the price is simply just not worth it (1500 pesos for the 6 course tasting menu + automatic 200 for water). The ambiance is cool but nothing spectacular . The service is good . The food is good , some plates however were pretty average. I'm not a cheap diner but I do feel I want my experience to match the bill. Best from the menu when I was there was the risotto and desserts, very tasty.

Came here for dinner on Wednesday in March 2025. Require reservation. Such a great restaurant! We ordered seven course tasting menu. Each course was an amazing, unique and interesting. Especially loved the short rib with banana purée and chocolate sauce and the Jerusalem artichoke cream soup. The service and presentation were Michelin quality. In fact better than many Michelin restaurants we tried in the UK or elsewhere. Thank you for the meal.

Wow! This place is truly unique. Their menu offers two options, both of which change every week: a 5-course meal or a 9-course meal, with the option to add wine pairings. We chose the 9-course meal with wine pairings, and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions of each entrée. I will add a picture of the menu and our dishes. Nothing short of amazing. We enjoyed every bite. Our favorite - if we had to pick one - was the Clams and Setas Mushroom with butter, lime & cilantro. (Chocolate clams in a garlic butter sauce that was exquisite.) Every dish was a harmonized blend of flavors that pleased our palates. I can not say enough about the service and attention to detail. We are grateful to have experienced Nemi. Chef Alejandro's dishes were flawless! Andres was incredibly attentive, passionate, and thorough, explaining each wine pairing in detail and sharing the unique origins of every wine.

Best vegan/vegetarian fine dining experience of my life! Our reservation ended up not making it into the system, but the staff were incredibly gracious and made sure we were taken care of. We were able to select the 10 course vegan/vegetarian menu with wine pairings, and were literally blown away by each course. The level of care that went into making not only delicious but engaging, unique, and complex vegan dishes with all local ingredients will never cease to amaze me. We couldn’t stop gushing to the wait staff about how incredible every single course was, and they all were incredibly gracious and even brought out the chef so we could thank him in person for giving us such an unforgettable dining experience. Every single member of the staff was lovely and attentive and made us feel incredibly welcome. I will be talking about this meal for the rest of my life! Cannot recommend enough!!

One of the best meals I've had not only in La Paz but in all of Mexico and all of my travels! I'm not sure why Nemi doesn't have a Michelin star yet. If you come to LA Paz, you have to come to Nemi...or you didn't really try La Paz!

The food was absolutely amazing. Easily a top three dinner experience I’ve had in my whole life. Andres was an amazing host and expertly described the dishes and why they were special. Any time my wife and I are in La Paz we shall return. Just a wonderful experience from start to finish.

I had a vegetarian tasting menu and hubby had the usual. We both loved it. My favorite dish was the vegetarian aguachile which was freaking spicy and packed with flavor. I also liked the first salad course and goat cheese appetizer. Again both were packed with flavor. The complimentary chocolate cake they gave for our anniversary was also delicious. I enjoyed the NEMI cocktail and hubby liked his wine pairing. It’s a small place and they only do tasting menu so make a reservation and spoil yourself.

Tiny ramen place with quite a few vegan and vegetarian options. Ramen is not very authentic Japanese, especially noodle itself is very different from traditional ramen, but it's still very rich taste. Worth to explore for soup lovers. Chai latter is unfortunately, from powder and too sweat

Chicken ramen was good, very Asian taste reminded me of home. But it’s way too salty I had to drink tons of water later that night - wasn’t pleasant. So if you order this item make sure they put only 1/10 salt in it than they normally do. Also, pizza was kind of bad, it tasted a bit sour for some reason. Although not very pleased with the food we still tipped 15% cuz under this COVID thing we felt bad for them.

Disappointed with this ramen, broth tasted like instant soup, tonkontsu pork was quite flavorless and chewy. Noodles were ok at best. Staff were good and fast service at least.

I came here because I had read the good reviews on their ramen. But I was so disappointed they use ramen noodles of the worst quality. The microwaveable ones :( I truly wanted to give them a better review, but I can’t justify what I paid for what I got. Egg was overcooked, pork was not tender. Over peppered, over salted. People on the counter were very flat and monotone. A bit more peppiness wouldn’t hurt. —————————————————————— To reply to the owner, no, this isn’t about differing tastes. I come from NYC where we have thousands of Ramen restaurants. Your ramen noodles are overcooked (if they’re made by hand), and the soup is overwhelmingly seasoned. Take the honest feedback of a customer instead of fighting it, it can only help you and your establishment.

I so so appreciate the vegan menu, but the ramen is so salty. The first time I got it, it tasted like hot, oily water with lots of salt and oil from the grill. No real flavor. The second time, the broth tasted like the little ramen flavor packets, so I’m not sure how vegan it was. A nice break from eating potatoes or cooking if you have a kitchen, but hard to eat more than twice.

Um... this is NOT the best ramen in town. Let's be honest, no one can really do the authentic Japanese ramen here without a Japanese chef. They use noodles from instant noodle package, the broth is definitely not the authentic ramen broth, and it is super salty. The only thing they got it right was the boiled eggs. It is a very odd place to have ramen on their menu as it is a coffee shop and also sells hambergers...anyways, i did enjoy their ginger latte.

Every single aspect of this establishment is on point. Never had a bad coffee. Shots are pulled with precision. The bakery case is chock full of An amazing variety of baked goods. The quiche is off the charts! Buen trabajo La Masa!

Very cozy and delicious bakery with fresh bread, pastries, coffee, tea and some sandwiches. I highly recommend trying pastry with cheese, pumpkin seeds and and some pepper - quite hot, but not too much. It's my favorite! They also have a breakfast option, but since they only open at 10 am I never tried - a bit late for my breakfast.

The hubby ordered the parrillada (meal for 2- YES, we took 2/3 to go) and for myself the chillis rellenos *Husband is Mexican, he was beyond thrilled with this 'google find'

Every time I visit La Paz I eat several meals here the food is always very good the service is top notch. The huevos rancheros is very good. My last visit (pictured) I had papas rellenas, mixed carne asada and al pastor very satisfying and they give you a table full of condiments. We highly recommend this place. On my last visit I had chicken enchiladas with a green salsa. It was excellent just the right amount of heat and sourness in the sauce.

So found this cute little place. The reviews don't lie! Fabulous food! We had the papas rellenas con arrachero y burro con arracherco... muy bien. The biggest burrito i've ever seen and the meat was so most and perfectly seasoned. Friendly, fast service! Nice & clean festive atmosphere... only thing is they need to learn to make a skinny Magarita sin azúcar. The Margarita would be perfect sin sweet & sour or with unsweetened lime juice... very much enjoyed our lunch and will be back often! Muchas gracias

This is a solid spot for classic Mexican dishes, especially tacos. Portions are larger than average, the service ranges from ok to good, and prices are quite reasonable.

I found this place by chance and came bacbatwice.just the right thing , feels like home made, attentivevstaff but not a bother. I had the super Burros and I recommend it. Buenos tardes! Viva LaPaz no need for tourist traps. I always tend to appreciate local restaurants more than the ones oriented towards tourists , here, LaPaz people eat with their friends and family. I am coming back for sure.

Excellent barbacoa and pastor tacos served fresh with tons of sides/toppings. The meat is tasty and the vegetables are cold & fresh. The guacamole is inexpensive and real deal, with just the right amount of salt and lime. Recommended!

I’m going to share with you a few things about my experience over at this restroom. Let’s talk about the atmosphere and the environment. First of all I guess so damn loud you can’t even hear yourself talk or share conversations with your family or guests that are around you. Secondly, the chairs are definitely something to write about within the first 10 minutes your lower back source to hurt really bad and then it goes down to your rear end very uncomfortable. Third, let’s talk about the air circulation. There is none. And finally, and most importantly, the fourth subject, which is the food I ordered the spaghetti. These people do not know anything about making tomato meat sauce. Last time I checked tomato meat sauce was supposed to be red. This sauce was translucent. It was a clear liquid and had some nasty pasty taste Alone, the noodles were very overcooked and the garlic bread they give you little tiny buns. They hardly have any type of garlic flavor on it. You just taste butter and more butter and did I say butter . The waiter was excellent though he was very attentive, but unfortunately, my experience I am going to leave this place at one star and I seriously doubt I’ll ever come back nor will. I recommend.

Great restaurant, service, chef. Fish of the day Red Snapper zarandeado was prepared for order no salt, no dairy. It is challenging. Came up great, though I expected to have more bell peppers and side vegetables. But I should been specify it.

Anybody who travel's to La Paz BCS Mexico and loves sea food must stop and try this place. It's awesome! It's a few blocks away from the beach but we'll worth it. Most prices range from 225 pesos for fish and seafood plate and averages around the same for most plates. Give it a try and I'm sure you'll love it.

It is a restaurant where many tour guide bring their patrons to. While the food is safe I can't say it is the tastiest and best quality. I wouldn't recommend it if you have other choices

Tacos gobernador were super tasty and made me want to try more varieties here. All seafood with tons of options. Seating on sidewalk out front and several tables inside. Easy to find with great logo & signage on a busy street. Fast service with a smile.

This place has the best ceviche I had in La Paz. I am sure everyone will argue with me but this is just one guys opinion. The tortillas were just as fresh as the seafood. The price was great too. I highly recommend this place.

Had delicious chicarron tacos today, salsa verde, so tender and delicious!

Delicious raw seafood sashimis, tostadas, ceviches and more plus cooked treats too like tacos and pasta. Tosada El Mangle made with mango is just delightful.

Excellent fresh sea food. In a small hole in the wall with a surprisingly interesting offer, while short, on the spot.

It’s a very clean, air conditioned place with good service. Slightly more expensive than most street places which is fine given it’s a nice restaurant. Tacos were fine, can’t count them amongst the best we had but all fine.

Very tasty and affordable comida corrida, casual atmosphere. Nice condiment/salsa bar to dress up your fish or shrimp taco, they also serve Shots, a shot glass sized serving of ceviche, camarones, pescado, o pulpo layered with special zingy sauce. One of my fave meals here is the Filete de pescado con arroz y ensalada, the fettuccine with cream sauce shrimp and mussels is excellent as well. Ask Victor the bar tender to make you a Paloma, tell him Hannah sent you!

They open after temperature drops in town. Good tacos and good portions and garnishes. Horchata is good

The BEST tacos in all of la paz. Don't be fooled. This is by far the best place. We have eaten at dozens of restaurants and carts, and nothing compares. The absolute best tacos on La Paz! Seriously. I highly suggest the Pastor y cebolla y Pina. These tacos should be illegal.

Had the Tacos vampiros, schrimp and sirloin, the shrimp was super fresh and tasty and the carne asada was also very good. No liquor served here, frijoles charros are excellent. Opens at 5pm

It was really, really good, and the guacamole is the best I've had in LA Paz so far. Cheese dip was ooey gooey and yummy. It came out sizzling in a pan. Eat it up fast cuz the open air seating cools it off quick. Super Nice staff. I'm putting this place on my favorites list. 😉 🌮 😋

One of our favorite taco places. We tried various tacos and all of them were good. Pricing was a little more than street tacos but the meat was tender and delicious. The vampire tacos were great (fried tortillas with meat / cheese on it). We didn’t try any shrimp tacos because they ran out of shrimp.

Best tacos in town from what we’ve been told. The el pastor is great, the vampiro asada also great. No beer though which is a bummer and service is good but you tend to have to ask a few times for things.

Ignore all the negative reviews, seriously coming from living in Texas and have tasted good asada meat/fajita this place is really good, their asada and guacamole has an excellent taste and I can almost guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Their prices are really good, I highly recommend the taco macho it’s not spicy and it’s great! Best taco place in Baja ( went to Cabo’s and here in La Paz to eat them).

Really enjoyed this place. Sadly they were out of their beer due to carnival just ending (great problem for them!) but excellent pizza, great staff and cool atmosphere

Very good craft beer, we recommend trying the hidromiel. The food is also very good.

Good tasty beer and just right pizza Hot dog was normal, nothing super special. For beer go with “Nalgas de Oro”

Good and *huge* burritos. The tacos are also jumbo. I'd give them a five, but they don't have water available. Beer and soda, but no bottled water? Odd. If it's water you want, bring your own! Also, no chicken options for the tacos and burros.

First time to La Paz, my tio who lives here suggested we eat dinner here and it they did not disappoint! I got 3 tripe, 2 al pastor and 1 asada taco,+ 2 drinks. Hands down best tripe ive ever had. Food+ shirt came out to less than $35. Came back NEXT morning for breakfast and the pancakes were 🔥

We dined here yesterday, 22 people. The food was very good, large portions and friendly staff.. I had the gringa mixto, it could have fed 2 people.. highly recommend 😋

We took a chance on this Super Burro today and WOW! Clean, fast and friendly service and the food was muy bueno! Two of us shared a Gringa El Pastor Super Burro and it was a lot. Fresh and tasty condiments and salsas, we’ll be back! Five stars for what is is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We happened upon this place and the smell and atmosphere drew us in. We had the Honolulu pizza and were pleasantly surprised that it was so good! I love brick oven thin crust pizza. The service was wonderful, we enjoyed the music and the staff were very friendly.

We ordered the whole fried fish and squid ink aguachiles! The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Israel was super cool and knowledgeable about everything La Paz and beyond!

I had a great experience at Marisqueria Los Plebes. I ordered a combination of fried shrimp, fish bites, and fish fillet, served with a light yogurt dressing, a tasty salsa, rice, and salad. Everything was on point, perfectly seasoned, crispy, and full of flavor. The rice and salad were also well prepared and complemented the meal nicely. We also tried the fish tacos, which were delicious, crispy and clearly made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere was charming and calm, with elegant touches that made the place feel welcoming. Service was excellent too, our waiter was fantastic. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you enjoy fresh seafood in a relaxing setting!

Average seafood place. Very local which I like, but the food was so so. I ordered tuna tostada and oysters. The tuna didn’t taste like sashimi (I can’t name why) and the oysters were very fishy. I will not come again. But the service was good. Efficient & friendly. Price is very reasonable too.

I’ve been to Los Plebes a couple of times, and the service is always warm and welcoming. Even though there’s no AC, the place is nicely ventilated and comfortable. The food is amazing — you can’t go wrong with their tostadas, and the molcajetes and clams are absolutely delicious. If you’re really hungry or sharing with someone, go for the seafood tower — everything is fresh and full of flavor. You really can’t miss with anything on the menu!

Pretty dope spot. They got some specialty tacos that are unique to neighboring seafood restaurants. Try the fried tuna taco or the gobenador.

The food was pretty underwhelming. The tacos weren’t heated up, so they fell apart when trying to eat. The filling was okay but kind of cold. The server was very nice and the setting was good. I appreciated the toppings (you apply them yourself, from a topping bar along the side wall). The two salsas were flavorful.

Finally made it here for dinner after two years of having it on my hit list. This cheap vegan taco spot did not disappoint. I am not vegan, and every taco we had tasted like it had meat in it. The chorizo, the pastor and the carnitas will satisfy carnivores and herbivores alike. My only beefs (ha,ha) with this place is they don’t serve alcohol, and the tortillas fall apart on first bite. The bill came to $12 USD for two people. You can’t beat that.

Made to order vegan food. All the typical Mexican meat flavors but with plant based ingredients. Tried the tacos and tortas and we were totally satisfied. Cheap prices, too.

This was our go to vegan spot during our trip because we just couldn’t get enough of their delicious tacos!! We loved supporting their fully vegan restaurant. We tried their Bistec, Al Pastor, and Birria tacos and they were all incredible! My favorite would have to be either the al pastor or bistec! Highly recommend this place! Taking their food to Playa Balandra was one of the highlights of our trip in La Paz!

Cozy and small all vegan taco place. Made to order quickly with five faux meat choices and a salsa bar to add toppings. We got six tacos, drinks, and two tapioca puddings for 150 pesos plus tip . Very good pricing, nice people! Highly recommend!

I'm not a vegan, but was hungry abd this place looked interesting. Ordered pastor, carnitas, and birria. Three tacos was too much for me, though I was hungry. Limited toppings, but that's fine. Onions were good and salsa was spicy and tasty. And very, very cheap. 18 pesos each, so basically $1 per. Not bad at all is my non vegan review.

holy vegan yum. this is very much a local spot, not touristy. we tried the 5 different taco "meats", two quesadillas (with a homemade tasting potato based "cheese"). Be sure to try the agua de dia! They had a fun vegan brownie cake the day we went (every day is different).

The drinks were great, absolutely the best coffee I’ve had. But the service was borderline terrible; I went there with my friends and no one came to take our order or bring us our menus until my friends asked for them 15 minutes after we arrived. Despite the food being amazing, it took almost 40 minutes to arrive. No waiters come to check on you at any time unless you dare get their attention. However, they were very kind when asked for something. All in all, I would much prefer ordering through a food service app than go to the actual cafe

My experience was better than expected. I went at 9am my coffee really well balanced, it took like 2 min waiting, I ordered chilaquiles de pollo, really good flavor I bet you will enjoy it. Honestly I think it is quite a big plate I couldn’t finished it. The food took 25min, not that bad, as soon as you are not extra hungry and you want a really well prepared food. Service was excellent. Note: If you don’t want to wait go to a fast food restaurant.

What a nice and cute restaurant to go to. The iced coffee I ordered was absolutely perfect. So delicious! We also had a slice of cake and it was mouth-watering. I am so impressed and I cannot wait to go back. The employees which were on duty on April, 2nd 2022 were also super friendly. Thank you.

Definitely one of my favorite places in La Paz. The smoothies are delicious and the the food is healthy and decent. I got the chicken wrap twice and although it was made differently each time, and was a tad bit salty the first time, it was still good and did not make me feel too full or bloated. I tried both the chai tea frappe and the polvorone frappe. They were both so good in the hot sun! The staff are super nice and helpful especially if you aren't fluent in Spanish. The decor inside is my favorite because it's super cute and peachy!

Go, go, go as fast as you can! The drinks are delicious, just enough sweetness. I had waffles and my partner had the chicken sandwich with caramelized apple and everything was completely delicious. We will be coming back soon!
