We visited the restaurant late at night and everything exceeded expectations. The food was excellent, the service outstanding, and the staff consistently polite and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Despite staying quite late, we were served graciously and without any sense of rush. Khalid, the waiter who attended to our table, was highly professional and enhanced the overall experience. He recommended the tiramisu, which turned out to be exceptional, perfectly balanced and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be returning.

Had a wonderful experience at Il Baretto. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly without being overbearing. It is a fine dining italian restaurant. We went there for dinner and they have valet service which was very convenient. The decorations and seatings inside the restaurant are very warming. The staff are polite and professional. We had a salad, appetizers, pasta and pizza. The food was ok but for a fine dining italian restaurant, the pizza was disappointing. Prices are expensive but again you are paying for a complete experience.

We were warmly welcomed with a Saudi coffee & dates at the door. All staff were very attentive and friendly. We were provided free appetizers of dips, olives & bread which was unexpected and delicious. The food presentation was great, with salad constructed at the table. Flavors were amazing. Our first experience of Saudi food and we were not disappointed.

My visit this week was truly exceptional. The two ladies at the reception, Saja and Fawzyah, were very welcoming and created a pleasant first impression for all of us. I really liked the entire place of Albejeri, and the restaurant, I admire the warm welcome, and the hospitality. the staff is amazing. The lamb kabsa was delicious and sambosa. Also I like the fries and the home made ketchup Prices are a bit on the high side, I’m excited to try the rest of the dishes . They also provide some complimentary welcoming items such as tahini, fresh bread, jareesh, and hashi.

Seafood night at Al Orjouan was a fantastic experience! Located inside the luxurious Ritz-Carlton in Riyadh, Al Orjouan is a stunning restaurant with opulent decor and a truly upscale ambiance. It may feel like an exclusive place, but it's definitely worth a visit — especially on Wednesdays, when they host their famous seafood buffet. The variety was incredible: fresh oysters, octopus, shrimps, prawns, sushi, and countless other options. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. To top it off, the dessert selection was just as impressive. Considering the location and the quality of food, the price (around 400 SAR) is very reasonable for Saudi Arabia. If you're a seafood lover and looking for a special dining experience in Riyadh, I highly recommend it.

Quick dinner review at Al Orjouan, The Ritz-Carlton – Butcher Nights never disappoint! The Tomahawk steak was incredible, perfectly cooked and served at its finest. From appetizers to dessert, everything was excellent. I did miss the chocolate fountain they used to have, and the ice cream options were limited to soft-serve this time. Nevertheless, the overall experience was wonderful — especially with the live band creating such an amazing atmosphere.

I gotta say, I’m surprised with all the fuss and the good reviews. I honestly say it’s overrated. I have been here in a seafood night (that’s thursday) and I rarely have any expectations when I visit somewhere new. But as a reputation as Ritz-Carlton, this restaurant has not reached to a “hotel” restaurant expectation. To be fair, I am not big fan of buffets. However; it did not have a lot of varieties. My soup was not hot. The service was decent, and their drinks are amazing. Try their Radiant Rose drink. One of the main reason that I did not like this place, is the type of guests around here. You could expect that this place will be visited by high class visitors, but it was the contrary. Many children are running around, and people are talking in high voices, and there are a lot of native minority people with bad dressing and slippers, I could advise that they should put on a dress code. I am not saying this restaurant is bad, but it is not outstanding.

Well.. I can’t say enough about my experience at the the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Riyadh. This place is my absolute favourite to have peace. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with such warmth and professionalism that make you feel right at home. The food? Just Wow.. Especially with the the big smile of Mr. Sudip.. I enjoyed their food at Al Orjouan.. The experience had here has been outstanding. Whether I’m enjoying a lavish meat or a refined desserts, the variety and quality of the dishes are truly impressive. It's definitely a highlight of my day. And let’s talk about the service. The staff lead by Mr. Sudip is phenomenal! They go out of their way to ensure every detail is taken care of, making your experience feel special. It’s that personal touch that really makes a difference. If you’re ever in Riyadh and looking for a luxurious getaway with incredible food and service to match, Al Orjouan is definitely the place to be. I can’t recommend it enough..

We all had an amazing lunch time here. Staff were nice and friendly, we got a lovely window side table with a view. And the food was just lovely. Very wide selection of intercontinental dishes and loads of desert. Momen was amazing he too great care of us and ensured everyone in our party had great fun. Hospitality was top notch. Went for "Butcher Night" AKA Steak Night and it easy phenomenal! Excellent variety of meats to choose from as well as many other dishes. Service is fast, efficient, and done with a smile. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Got the weekday lunch deal for SR 175, and it was honestly one of the best I've had! Great quantities, everyone left feeling full. I am still dreaming about the chan san maki 😍 the date cake was yummy, and add it with great attentive service by Abid, and it was very memorable!

A good restaurant in Riyadh to serve japanese food. The prices are very high compared to the portions and quality. As for the service it is quite good. The best two dishes are the Wageo burger and the fish.

This is one of the most famous restaurants, and as the name suggests, you’ll find a wide variety of non-vegetarian dishes here. We tried the kebab, chicken biryani, and hummus as an appetizer — everything was delicious and definitely worth it.

Shawarma House in Sulaymaniyah is definitely one of the best spots if you’re craving flavorful shawarma and Middle Eastern food. They offer a wide range of food options, not just shawarma, which makes it a great place whether you’re coming for a quick bite or a full meal. The food is always fresh, tasty, and served fairly quickly considering how busy it gets. That’s actually the only downside — the place is usually packed, especially during peak hours. Because of the crowd, the toilet often has a long queue, and the overall atmosphere can get a bit noisy at times. Still, the quality of the food and the variety on the menu make it worth visiting. Just be prepared for some waiting if you go during rush hours.

I waited nearly 20 minutes for the food. It was extremely crowded and I mean extremely. No system, everyone is just screaming to each other. The food was great but nothing special. There were not even pickles inside the shawarma, just 3 slices on the side.

The shawarma was exceptional, boasting a juicy texture, and the avocado juice was sweetened with honey instead of sugar. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal, although the wait for the food to be prepared and delivered was a bit longer than expected. The outdoor seating arrangement was fantastic. Superb. This place is very famous in Saudi Arabia especially in Riyadh. Came here and tried several items and everything was superb. The arabic shawarma plate is a must try, the broasted chicken is super delicous, crispy chicken sandwich is good. Another must try item is the Fatteh Warak Enab (vine leaves Fatteh), this dish is just Outstanding. They have plenty of options in their menu. Everything you might want to eat is available here. The service is somehow fast and the ambiance is nice.

I was not sure of the ambience and general vibe of the restaurant for lunch on Saturday, the food and the service made up the short fall. Had a set menu (eagle) and it was more than expected. The food was perfect cooked as we were able to taste every ingredient. It was a pleasant experience. Definitely will visit again.

Not just a restaurant, but truly an unforgettable experience! It was my very first time trying Chinese food, and I absolutely fell in love with it. The presentation alone was a “wow” moment so elegant and full of detail. We ordered the Eagle Set Menu. It started with the soup, which had such a unique flavor and ingredients that made it stand out (though my husband wasn’t a big fan, I personally loved the twist!). Next came the duck salad, and honestly, it was delicious I could eat it every single day. Everything about it was perfectly balanced. The main dishes were presented beautifully, showcasing rich culture and creativity. Each dish was flavorful, with unique ingredients that we don’t often get to experience here, which made the meal feel extra special. Overall, the food, presentation, and experience were beyond expectations. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu. Highly recommended!

this was our 3rd visit and honestly the ambiance and food here are some of the best in riyadh. the steam dumpling plate, chicken prawn wonton, and string long beans are a must order. the sweet and sour chicken is also an excellent main dish. i’d personally skip the mushroom hand-pulled noodles and the wan noodle soup, they’re not really worth it. we did run into a small issue with the service. one of the staff misunderstood our order, we asked if the soup was enough for 3 people (we were 5 in total) but he took it as us ordering 3 soups. when we spoke to the manager he wasn’t helpful at all and even argued, saying it was our mistake. luckily another manager stepped in, was very understanding, and offered to cancel the dish for us. aside from that, the experience was great. definitely a must try spot in riyadh, just make sure to double check the order with the waiter to avoid any mix ups.

My sisters and I came for dinner, and it was strange that we were served our food by ourselves as if we were at home? The waiter, Artem clearly knows nothing about hospitality. He took our order without showing us the drinks menu. we kindly ask about drinks he gave it to us and leave straight away without checking again. Later we tried to follow up with him our order but he didn't even look at us as if we were invisible which was extremely insulting. He made us feel uncomfortable, like he was acting arrogantly or didn't like us (we didn't come to impress each other, we came to eat) - the Asian waiter continued to take the full orders. When we asked for the bill, Atrem insisted we pay through Apple Pay, but I insisted we pay by card. DO NOT FORCE YOUR GUESTS to pay like that and leave it up to them to make their own choices. I know it was rush hour, but you should take care of your guests or try to get some training before starting work because this is not a professional hospitality. It's sad to see such a beautiful restaurant lack professionalism in service, and it was an unpleasant experience. I really appreciated the treatment of the reception, the Arab server, and the Asian waiter who was very polite and save our experience

A beautifully crafted restaurant. Taleed by Michael Mina welcomed me with open arms. Everyone there is so wonderful. I had the opportunity to try their dessert tonight. It was delicious, so kind of Sharmaine who hosted us. They have a new special night on Wednesdays, the ladies' night, which is a free dessert. All I wish is that I came earlier to try the food. I will be recommending this for business dinner for sure.

Such a lovely find. We didn't know this restaurant existed until we visited the adjacent hotel. The food was all so well presented and delicious. We loved the nod to local flavors and the delicious array of sauces and accompaniments. The decor from the grounds to the interior of the restaurant is so cleverly done. The classical features put you in the mind of having found a secret dive in a far-flung part of an old Saudi city, but the interior is so elegant and yet classically Saudi in artistic style. The staff was amazing from the hostess to our main waiter Jay Ar who was so attentive throughout the meal. Truely a lovely evening.

It was AMAZING. I could see why it has a Michelin star. It was a cold night, and they brought heaters and blankets to keep us cosy and warm. The staff were friendly and gave us the best choices. All of the food was delicious and had nice little finishing touches. The atmosphere was amazing, and as was the decor. The restaurant itself was high up and we sat on a terrace after going up in an tastefully decorated elevator. It was brilliant. I would definitely go again if I had the chance.

From the moment we stepped in, the ambience was immaculate and the service? Absolutely top-notch 👌🏼 🍽️ What we ordered: – Zucchini fritters, shrimp, and a refreshing salad to start – For mains: Fried fish, Sayadieh rice, and Manti – each bite was bursting with flavor – Dessert heaven: Egyptian rice pudding & rich chocolate cake 🍫 – Drinks? One of the good Restaurants chain that good one. And they are doing very well indeed. I’ve would call the entire orders we asked for was very good. But two little things about two orders if may I Suggest to do about the corn salad 🥗 that they have hard ones “crunchy ones” inside it. If they remove it will be much better. And the bread 🥖 if they not over heated and make it much softer it would be much better as well. The rest well done indeed.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, but the music was too loud. The reservation process was smooth and fast, and the reception was excellent. The staff were polite, and the tables were very comfortable. However, what bothered me was the delay in serving the food. Firstly, Secondly, although the food was delicious, the quantity was not sufficient and not suitable for hosting guests. This was my third visit, but the same issue happens every time. I’m not sure if I will visit for a fourth time or not.

The place is nice and the service is ok but I hate the food. Really really disappointed. We ordered pink sauce pasta; very tomato-y. Best selling some bachamel pasta; too cheesy and dense. Some 47 hour beef dish: too sweet couldn’t handle it. We ordered 3 desserts and they were all equally disappointing. Lemon teramisu is too dry; date pudding is cold, dry and topped with weird custard layer. Even the basic vanilla ice cream lacked flavor and depth. Seriously disappointed

It is my first visit to Agio. I have a great dinner with my friend whom is a frequent visitor to the restaurant and highly recommended me to try it with her. We ordered INSALATA DELL'ORTO 👏🏼, VEAL LIMONE, 😋, TORTA DELLA NONNA 🤤(highly recommended to try it, the dessert is delicious and not that sweet). My drink was CHAMOMILE ICE TEA which is also really good 😌. The Agio team is so welcoming and friendly, special thanks to Rody, Hamazh and George. Also to the chef Filippo( I hope I spelled his name correctly) for making delicious food 👏🏼definitely it will not be the last visit.

This is not my first time visiting Agio, and it never disappoints. The place has cozy vibes, delicious food, and great service. Don’t forget to order the Pizza Diavola if you’re a spicy pizza lover. And if you like lemon, you must try their signature Limoncello Lemonade, I just wish they offered it in a single cup instead of only the big bottle! I’m honestly so impressed! I work as a health inspector and our servers Serus and Psim were both outstanding. Serus really stood out with his attention to food safety, wearing a hairnet, asking about allergies, and handling everything with great care. Super clean and professional. Psim was just as amazing, friendly, fast, and very professional. He kept our table spotless and even offered to serve the food. You can tell both of them take real pride in their work. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the whole experience went above and beyond. I usually don’t write reviews but I’m honestly amazed. They truly deserve recognition!

The seating is dark and atmospheric, and our waiter Lia was wonderful and very accommodating despite how busy the place is! We had the Ceviche, Sliders, Midori salad, Tuna Crispy Rice, and Cheesecake. Delicious and clearly made with good quality ingredients.

Very good food, for being a Wednesday night it was crowded, and wait times around 15 minutes. The food size is amazing and big enough for party of 2 or 3. The taste is super good. One detail to keep on mind is the parking are limited outside, so maybe you should look for a place a little far for the restaurant. Highly recommend and must visit place in Riyadh.

I tried their chicken and meat shawarma first and on my second visit I tried their hummos and khuboos combo and their falafel sandwich. Loved the meat, chicken and falafel. Humose was also tasty and together with the khuboos it tasted very good. I feel that the fine in experience could be made better.

It was pure magic! 🌇🌅 The ambiance from the towering height and the evolving sky was truly unforgettable. However, while the view was certainly a highlight, I have to be honest about the service. For a place with such an iconic setting and reputation, it felt a little... below expectations. It just didn’t quite match the ‘magical’ vibe the location promises. As for the food itself, it was nothing particularly spectacular. It leaned a bit more towards a standard hotel buffet feel, somewhat blend in flavor, and nothing really stood out or ‘touched’ me in that sense. Overall: ⭐⭐⭐ / 5 So, while the incredible views and that stunning sunset are definitely worth experiencing, set your expectations for the food and service accordingly. It’s a view to remember!

This will be the most memorable experience. I took my wife here for her birthday and we were not disappointed. The service was outstanding. With special thanks to Saiful who I was emailing prior to the booking to make sure the night was extra special, and he went above and beyond to make it everything I asked for. We ordered the steak for main and the quality was perfection. Then we finished the evening with a birthday cake specially made. The whole experience was 100/100. This place must be on everyone's to do list in Riyadh.

Went as a hotel in-house guest. 2nd time here. went for anniversary dinner, table was booked ahead & complimentary prep with petals. Love that touch. The view and ambience is the centerpiece.. Polite staff from the entrance itself. The food was good. Couldn’t complain on the price. Worth for the view , the service & the romantic ambience.

I was really disappointed with my visit. Everything except the Spinach Chaat tasted bland, completely lacking the rich, authentic flavors you would expect from an Indian restaurant of this caliber. When I asked the waiter, he mentioned that 90% of their customers are non-desi, so they don’t use spices. But the issue wasn’t just the spice level, it was the complete absence of flavor. The waiter also told me that if I had requested more spice, he would have asked the chef to adjust it. But as a first time visitor, how am I supposed to know the baseline level of spice they serve? It should be the waiter’s responsibility to ask every customer about their spice preference when taking the order. Additionally, one female waitress was wearing high heels, and the constant clicking sound was very distracting in the quiet environment. For a restaurant aiming for a fine dining atmosphere, that kind of continuous noise was quite out of place. On top of that, the menu is overpriced for what you get.

Considering the quality of food, service, and ambiance, I found Zafran to offer great value for money.Portions are generous. My ultimate favorite is their Butter Chicken. Twas was so tasty; tender pieces of chicken bathed in a creamy, rich tomato sauce that had just the right hint of sweetness and spice. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with recommendations tailored to our taste and dietary preferences.

We had a lovely meal at Zafran Indian Kitchen. There was plenty of underground parking and good lift to the restaurant area. The food was tasty, although there were not enough options of curries without cream or yoghurt for me. My husband had lamb vindaloo, Indian spice and said it was the best curry he had had in Riyadh and I had chicken Biryiani. Generous helpings and great service

Tried this time Roganjosh (i hope they spell it that way) heard so much about it before so i had to try it. Its a cousin to nihari (Pakistani dish) but creamier one. The tender meat makes it worthful experience. Tandoori tikka is always a great choice, smell tenderness. Amazing. Biryani rice with beautifull flavours and smell. Starter papar: How can i forget the sweetness of beetroot with papar with imli chatani. Just wow. Best combination for papar everr. Very nice atmosphere. Relaxing and quiet. Food quantity is average over all. Spicy potatoes was excellent and my one of the best dishes. Cherry kabab is average. The cherry 🍒 sauce is no longer a quality sauce . Coukshca was good. Passion fruit mojito was excellent. Service could be better we had to wait and waive to call someone to come take the order. And when he got to our table 2 items we wanted was not available. If not available then should be removed from the menu. It digital menu it can be easily edited, not like it need to be printed on paper.

Overall Verdict: Overpriced The food was just okay, not bad, but not wow. We enjoyed the crispy crab salad, and the miso soup was decent. The sushi got a solid B, but the tacos were a bit too spicy for my taste. Unfortunately, Tokyo doesn’t offer much variety in roll platters (there is only 1 set option for sharing) or raw salmon options - just two choices, and each portion has only four pieces! The service was disappointing as well. We had to ask twice for missing cutlery and ginger, which was barely enough on the plates (as you can see in the photos). When we arrived with a baby stroller and two kids, several people greeted us at the reception, but not one offered to hold the door. It felt a bit lacking in hospitality.

Tokyo is one of our favorite japanese restaurant here in Riyadh, we’ve been visiting this place since 2017. It has a cozy and contemporary ambiance, a clean and well-kept dining area which contributes to a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. The restrooms are a bit dark but still well maintained. The portions are a bit smaller and more expensive than before but still tasted absolutely delicious! Azzuro, is fine dining Italian restaurant which serves some delicious Italian food with mesmerizing views facing indoor pool. Coming up to food we had (writing in English as I don't remember their Italian names) 1. LEMON CHICKEN RISOTTO 2. PENNE PASTA IN CREAM SAUCE 3. STUFFED CHICKEN POLLO 4. BURRATA SALAD 5. MARGHERITA PIZZA 6.DUCK STUFFED DUMPLINGS WITH GRAVY 7. GRILLED SALMON WITH MASHED POTATOES 8. APPLE PIE WITH WHITE CHOCOLATE 9. TIRAMISU 10. POMEGRANATE JUICE Food was good, but view was everything.

Bad services and bad food they bring small portion of the steak in the plate with out any sauces and and after 7 minutes they bring the vegetable which should come together in the same plate wit the steak the Morocco assistance chief was the responsible for that since the Italian chief in vacation I do not recommend this restaurant to any body plus they went to ice cream from other restaurant

The service was nice, everyone was helpful and polite. I would especially like to thank Christine. The food was okay, there's a lot of options. The only thing I would improve is the hot food section, the taste of the oil wasn't great. The fruits and pastries were really delicious. The interior is 10/10 very vibrant, but I would have liked if the music was turned down a notch. It's very loud and we came here early in the morning so we wanted a quiet breakfast.

This restaurant used to be Turkish and changed to Spanish according to the Maneger. The restaurant is located inside Hayat Regency hotel. They serve variety of Spanish dishes. I don’t have good idea about the menu since I was invited to a conference but all the dishes we’ve tried were great. There appetites were very unique and tasty, the Spanish pancakes and potatoes. They have amazing seafood soup and paella which is prepared and served freshly next to you. The steak and chicken skewers were also tasty. The salmon was awesome. At the end we had western and eastern desserts and we loved them as well. The waiter was so kind and accommodating. The vibes were awesome, lights are dimmed and view is attractive looking at Olaya street.

Ladies Night at AZURE! Absolutely amazing! AZURE is a perfect spot for romantic evening. Could it be with your loved ones, your family or even your friends. From the moment you walked in, Raj is there to welcome you and make sure that you are treated very special. The ambience is perfect for girls moment. Especially that Friday is Ladies Night. Main course is buy 1 get 1 free. Food is amazing, their Ceviche is the best that i tried so far. Paella was so good too. And ohh, the Octupos as well is the best. Thumbs up to Chef Arun. We had sangria and some mocktails, it was perfectly done by Marian. I would highly recommend if you are celebrating special Occassion, just splurge a bit and you’ll definitely enjoy the night. Its not just a Dinner, it is a moment!

Tried the seasonal dinner set menu… Food was in general authentic and delicious, except some of the dishes like paella and gazpacho being slightly too salty (personal opinion). The portion was unexpectedly generous… a set of 230 riyals includes a soup, a salad, four tapas, two entrees, a dessert and a drink… surely fed me well and worthy of the price. Nice decor and good ambiance in the restaurant. Special thanks to the two girls Nisrine and Carol serving tonight… very friendly and informative, absolutely made the dining experience special and pleasant :)

Good experience at this nice and big restaurant. Staff were very friendly and nice. Service was fast and done greatly. Good was good and had flavor to it. We tried multiple dishes as below. Sultan’s Salad - very tasty and delicious, especially if you like the sweetness in the salad 9/10 Kifta with cheese - good and had a lot of flavor 8/10 Fillet steak - we had it as medium well so can’t judge it well - 8/10 Porterhouse steak - 4/10 Amazing service and we were given complimentary tea and dessert which were really good Pistachio ice cream dessert 10/10 - mouthwatering an delicious

When he found out it was our friend’s birthday, he helped us plan a little surprise—quietly coordinating everything so it would be perfect. The way he brought out the treat with a cheerful greeting made our friend’s face light up! His thoughtfulness and genuine kindness really made our celebration memorable. The drinks are good, with a wide selection to choose from. As for desserts, I’ve tried two different ones so far, but unfortunately neither met my expectations—one was too dry and the other was soggy when it should’ve been crunchy. I came to this place after reading the reviews but I was highly disappointed. The y are very slow, I also ordered menmen and the bread came with it was sliced and hard and with dipping kind of dishes you should not serve hard bread. I didnt enjoy the experience at all. The staff helped to get me pita bread which took some few minutes to make, while I do appreciate the gesture however the menmen was a bit cold when bread arrived. They tried to help but this is not the type of experience I imagined when I saw the reviews. I also didnt like the spiced spanish tea and caramel latte.

Place is very cozy, clean, and nice. Staff are very welcome, helpful, and attentive. I celebrated my birthday with full of love and warmth from the place. I guess this is the best cafe we had so far in Riyadh. The drinks are to die for and the black velvet cake its awesome perfect for may taste buds, not to sweet but moist. Such a delicous, easy going, go to japanese restaurant. You will experience both authentic japanese dishes and a selection of well crafted Sushi and Nigiri selection. The quality of the fish is incredible, and the skill of the chef is impeccable. I often end up at this restaurant after a long weekday.

Recently visited Yokari Japanese Restaurant Zen Garden and I have to say, it was a delightful experience! From the ment I walked in, the ambiance was welcoming and calm, with a modern yet cozy atmosphere. staff was incredibly warm and attentive, offering great recommendations and checking in on us roughout the meal. When it came to the main course, I opted for the sushi combo, Each piece was incredibly fresh - The sushi rice was light and well-seasoned, which complemented the fish perfectly.

Everything was amazing — tasty and incredible. The sushi was so yummy, and the tacos were delicious. The Wagyu was exceptional. The service was outstanding; big thanks to Borban and Rocy, and to all the staff. A truly memorable day!

So, first of all there was no wait which was wonderful! And as soon as I entered the restaurant we were greeted with really friendly staff, and the atmosphere was breathtaking. Me and my family sat it the right corner seat, the place was very extraordinary! They had a ton of options of food, and when our meals arrived they tasted out of this world! It was simply delicious, I would totally recommend this to everyone. My whole family adored it! And at the end they offered us an awesome cheesecake, on the house as well! I ordered the ramen soup and made sure to ask the waiter whether the noodles were thick or thin, I only like thick ramen or rice noodles. He confidently said they were thick… but nope. They turned out to be those thin instant-style noodles I can’t stand. I ate what I could because I was starving, but it was honestly disappointing. Then I decided to give the matcha a try big mistake. That tiny cup cost 16 SAR for what tasted like hot water with a spoon of matcha powder .

Went for lunch and it wasn't busy which was a shame. The road works are affecting the whole area but it is worth persevering. Olaya has some wonderful restaurants.

Came here for a special occasion. I went for a 6 moments set menu and was unfortunately disappointed. I could have spent this much in many other places in Riyadh and had a much better experience and quality of food. The presentation is alright as I put the two best photos here. Quantity for the price paid is hands down a crime. I know if I went to Beef Bar, Yautcha or Il Baretto I would have had better food quality and portion size as well as ambiance, especially for the amount I paid. The drinks were mediocrely ok and the bread was very hard which made it seem like it wasn’t even baked on the day.The experience was over all very weird as we were almost the only people sitting down in the restaurant and the music felt like it was royalty free. I’d just like to thank the waiters for doing their best, honestly you could tell they’re trying. Food is mediocre, I haven’t tried the a la carte but it may be different. I also feel all the other reviews here are from people that work at the JW. I’m just writing this so no one wastes their time and this place has a fair and honest review, that’s just my experience.

The ambience, service, and the environment is so nice. We have two ADHD-like kids, the waiter was super patient with them and they enjoyed running around o it side in the garden. The food was good too. The burger is particularly nice and they have pistachio with Arabian Oud (!) didn’t have a chance to try it but will definitely try to come back next time (if I manage to ditch the kids for a few hours!)

I had high expectations when I made a reservation for myself and my family at San Carlo Cicchetti Riyadh, but unfortunately, our experience started off on the wrong foot. Upon arrival, the man at the reception was unprofessional and quite rude. Despite waiting patiently for our turn while he dealt with a group of teenagers without a reservation, he completely ignored us when a woman approached him from the side. Instead of acknowledging the order of arrival, he chose to assist her first, which was both frustrating and disrespectful. Just as I was about to express my concern, a very polite and professional tall lady from the staff noticed the situation. She stepped in, checked our reservation immediately, and guided us to our table with grace and efficiency. Her attitude saved the evening and was truly appreciated. Once seated, the experience greatly improved. The food was outstanding—elegant, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service at the table was excellent, attentive without being intrusive, and the overall ambiance was stylish and refined. While the initial encounter left a poor impression, the professionalism of the lady and the quality of the food and service more than made up for it. I would return, but I hope the front desk staff receives better training.

I was shocked actually I was expecting a lot from this place. For example, the food was I think a half portion second the tables was like near me the people near me hear me when I talk and I don’t like that the first server, he didn’t complete my order he didn’t give me the bread with butter second one which is Joseph the server. It was an absolutely out of the world experience. The quality of the food and the service by having the tenants. The food quality at San Carlo has changed a lot compared to before. Considering the growing competition in the dining scene, they really need to maintain their original standards. Unfortunately, the experience this time was disappointing: • Calamari: 6/10 • Chocolate gelato: 4/10 • Truffle fries: 3/10 • Shrimp: 4/10 It’s sad to see that a place which used to be fully booked before COVID is now often almost empty.

Amazing setting, even better food! Best fresh pasta and that is coming from someone that is not a not a pasta fan. The restaurant was totally full at the time we left which was 21:30 on a weekday which say a lot about how good the food is and how popular SCC is. Great vegetarian options! Recommend the homemade truffle pappardelle, the truffle and pecorino ravioli, the zucchini fritte and the Monte Cristallo dessert as must tries!

If there is just food and atmosphere to rate, that would be 4/5 stars, but unfortunately service is lacking. We were group of 6 and they gave us table that is clearly not for 6 people. When set menu started arriving, waiters started making it confusing. We felt like we were forced to finish quickly with our food. They have also tried to bring all the food at the same time but table was too small to fit everything but they didn’t care much. For them was fine. We ended up not knowing who’s eating what. Lobster soup 8/10 Ceasar Salad 9/10 Fettuccine Alfredo 10/10 Diavola 5/10 Tiramisu 6/10 Ice cream 9/10 Mashroom soup 9/10 Polo Milanese 8.5/10 I would probably come again but not as group, probably only as a couple.

The food at San Carlo Cicchetti Riyadh is absolutely amazing — one of the best Italian dining experiences in the city. I highly recommend the Rocca salad, baby calamari, Margherita pizza, penne arrabbiata, Spanish ricotta ravioli, and especially the veal Milanese — it’s a must-have! That said, the service wasn’t as good as it used to be. It felt slower and less attentive than previous visits, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the quality of the food more than made up for it. Definitely worth visiting if you’re a fan of authentic Italian cuisine.

Nice place. The service is nice, and the atmosphere is also nice. We came here and got steak, bone marrow, sweet potato, and cheesecake. We loved the steak, but personally I did not like the bine marrow.. it’s an acquired taste. We also loved the sweet potato it was soft on the inside, and crunchy on the outside. It came with different sauces like hollandaise, mint, , bbq, and more… they brought butter as a candle shape which was nice and creative.

The restaurant specialises in high end steaks. But the real stars of the show were actually the side dishes and appetisers. Steaks were okay BUT not at par with the prices you pay which is expensive. The side items like bone marrow, mac and cheese and onion soup were great. Steaks were a bit disappointing specially the fillet. Service is good and staff is attentive. We all had mixed feeling because we enjoyed the whole experience so much until the meat , which was what we came for, was served!!

The caramelized onion in the Sandu should be revised, its over effecting the taste of beef. But honestly the food was great, they just need a full redecorating and rebranding. I went to Porter House with my wife and baby, and to my absolute shock, the reception told us that babies are not allowed inside after 7 PM. What kind of ridiculous policy is that? When I asked for an explanation, the receptionist simply said it was “management policy” and that we would have to sit outside. I agreed, thinking at least they could provide a baby chair outdoors — but the waiter politely apologized and said the restaurant doesn’t have baby chairs for outdoor seating. So basically, Porter House makes it very clear that babies are not welcome there at all. Honestly, what kind of restaurant in the world doesn’t allow babies? As for the food — I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. I ordered the Porter steak, bone marrow, and French fries. The quality was terrible, absolutely not worth the price or reputation. The only positive part of the experience was the waiter’s service; he was polite and apologetic despite the restaurant’s awful policies and food. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. Families, don’t even think about coming here.

While the food was excellent, the service was a bit of a mixed bag. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t quite match the high standard set by the kitchen. A bit more attentiveness or warmth from the staff would’ve made the experience even better. In short, if you’re a steak lover or just looking for a tasty, well-prepared meal, Porterhouse is worth a visit.

As someone with considerable experience in Lebanese cuisine, though not Lebanese myself, I found the food to be good but not outstanding for the price. I recommend trying the mixed grills with garlic sauce, and the freshly served bread is a nice touch. The hummus with meat, fattouch, eggplant platter, and fatteh were all good, but I’ve had better elsewhere. Would I return? Perhaps, for a second chance.

This restaurant has been recommended to me but I was distinctly underwhelmed by the whole experience . The food was average , portions were small and prices very high . The atmosphere was tense . Although the service is very attentive , this is not the type of restaurant I would relax in as I felt the waiters ( wearing blue ) were under constant pressure by the managers ( black suits ) to sell more to each table and you could constantly feel the eye of the managers on each table as if they were calculating how long you had been at your table and how much you had spent . I really did not rate this place at all and would certainly not come back .

Tried Em Sherif Café and it instantly became one of my favorite Lebanese spots in Riyadh. The flavors are rich and authentic, especially the batata harra and hummus. The mixed grill was tender and well-seasoned, and the beef shawarma was spot on. Great ambiance and warm service. Definitely worth a visit.

After that, we finished our food and honestly everything was good except for one dish. We asked about it and told them we didn’t really like it, and they ended up giving us dessert on the house too. Sharing an honest review based on the experience. What we ordered: • Appetizers: -The arugula salad was absolutely delicious. -The calamari was very good. -The eggplant rolls were decent. • Pizza: The Burrata pizza was flavorful and one of the highlights of the meal. • Pasta: We tried two types: one of their signature tomato-based pastas, which they mentioned is one of the best in Riyadh — and I’d agree it’s probably the best item on their menu. The second was a spinach-filled pasta. Unfortunately, this one didn’t work for me at all. I’d rate it 1/10. The flavor reminded me of a traditional Saudi dish called mantoo, but the filling lacked depth and seasoning. • Fish: We didn’t order salmon, but another type of fish that tasted similar to tuna. I personally didn’t enjoy it much. • Saffron Risotto: This was a miss. The texture felt undercooked and lacked flavor. There are several places in Riyadh that serve much better risotto. Now to the two major letdowns: 1. The ambiance: For a weekend night, the atmosphere was unexpectedly flat. There was either no background music or it was barely audible. It felt unusually quiet — to the point where you could clearly hear conversations from nearby tables. We actually felt sleepy and ended up leaving early. 2. The birthday request: I had informed them ahead of time that we were celebrating a birthday for one of the guests. Unfortunately, no one acknowledged it, asked about it, or made any effort to make the moment special. The service was far below expectations, especially for a weekend dinner, and we ended up continuing the celebration at another place. While a few dishes were enjoyable, the overall experience didn’t match the energy or service we expected from a place like this on a Friday night.

We went for late lunch without reservation. The restaurant was not crowded and we were seated however, reservation is recommended specially in the evening. Food menu includes good variety. We ordered soup which was good and can be shared. The spinaci salad is yummy. Also the meat ball is tasty. For the main we tried the salmon and the scalopins Limone and both are good. For dessert the chocolate fondue is so so yummy and it’s one of the best in structure and taste and is highly recommended. Service is excellent and staff attentive.

This place offers one of the best breakfast and bakery selections. The ingredients are top quality and everything tastes fresh. One of my favorite selection when I visited west of Saudi and nowadays i Addicted on this more than when opened in Riyadh I like always have chicken fillet and double up albeek burger with cheese without pickles sometimes I like to have fried shrimp but honestly it’s expensive

The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that the portion sizes, especially for the ribs, are big on the small size of the dishes. Otherwise, everything was spot on and definitely worth trying!

The steak sandwich was a little bit salty to my taste but maybe it’s just me. The ribs was great, great portion for its price. Atmosphere is superb. It’s a great place to have lunch and chill a bit. Will try the brisket next time and the steaks.

I have ordered a wagyu rip eye steak, the 3 rips, cheese fries, and steak sandwich. All are tasty and should be tried again. The lovely guy Abdullah was welcoming, he answered my call for booking and serviced my table 😍

Abdullah the guy from Kenya he is the best in the restaurant. I had a diplomatic guest with me today for lunch. Abdullah helped with food choice and offered free welcome drink and he was waiting for us by the entrance and hosted us in good shape. Hope to see more like Abdullah who can show Saudi Hospitality in this professionalism and kindness. Thank you Abdullah

Excellent efficient service and great food in a cool atmosphere. We had the rack of ribs and kale salad. Both were great. Can’t wait to come back and try more !

I was eager to try this well-known local brand, reputed for offering quality BBQ meats at a premium. Unfortunately, the initial impression fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, no one greeted or seated us, which is typically standard at higher-end establishments. We later learned from one of the friendly and apologetic waiters (an African gentleman) that the manager—who was supposed to be at the host stand—was not at his post. It made for an awkward start, especially after seeing him casually chatting with colleagues from a neighboring restaurant while we as guests stood unattended. Oddly enough, when he did eventually stop by our table and I mentioned the food was good but that there had been an earlier issue we could discuss after the meal, he showed little interest or concern. He never returned to follow up or address the matter. Such dismissiveness is disappointing, particularly at a venue positioning itself as a premium dining destination. On the bright side, the food was well-prepared and flavorful. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium, the brisket tacos were tasty—although the brisket itself was slightly dry—and the brisket fries followed suit. Onion rings were delicious but a touch too oily. The mojito was excellent. The smash burger was equally fantastic. However, portions felt small considering the high price point, and the waiter assigned to our table (an Indian gentleman) seemed to be in a rush when taking our order and clearing the table, which made us feel somewhat unwelcome. At this price level, hospitality should be just as important as the food. While the dishes mostly delivered in quality, the overall guest experience did not meet the standard one would expect. I sincerely hope the management addresses these issues. Guests aren’t just paying for good food—they’re paying for a memorable experience.

Amazing place for meat lovers! The ribs and brisket are tender and flavorful, steaks cooked perfectly, and the sides are tasty. Cozy ambiance with great service—special thanks to the Mohammad very friendly who made the experience even better.
