The 20 best sights in Port d'Alcudia

We visited Alcudia Old Town on market day and really enjoyed it. There were plenty of stalls spread throughout the charming old streets, offering a wide variety of items – from clothes, bags, and souvenirs to handmade crafts. What stood out this time was the increase in local food options – lots of tasty treats, cheeses, cured meats, and fresh produce to try or take home. It had a great atmosphere without feeling too chaotic, and it’s a nice way to spend a few hours exploring. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

Beautiful place and easy to get to on public transport. Plenty of places for food, and the quaint little shops are lovely to look around! The walk round the wall was also breath taking, and the view from the top is definitely worth it.

A must visit if you’re in the island of Mallorca, Spain. Walked along the iconic medieval wall for panoramic views, had the most delicious seafood lunch and drove for 10/15 minutes to see the stunning view at la Victoria beach.

A simply amazing place with lots of culture, great bus access and why not stop off at the port as well. Nice stroll and some cool shops just respect the area and the locals, places like this need protecting!

Lovely part of town with a gentle stroll through the streets. Good choice of bars, cafes and restaurants and some lovely shops too. Parking can be tricky sometimes but worth a visit.

Beautiful old town with lots of history. Lots of boutique style shops as well.as the usual tourist shops. Some lovely restaurants too. We also went to.the near by Roman ruins. All.well.worth a day out with something for everyone!

Not bad, some good slides. Kids had done them all in space of 5 minutes which was good not having to queue. However be aware, you have to pay for a sun lounger, they're not included in entry price and you also get hounded by the photographers which really ruin the mood. Worth a visit though.

Had a great day at the waterpark. Took a 5-year-old and he loved the series of slides for children UNDER 120cm. They go down themselves on rubber rings or mats. We rented 3 sunbeds at additional cost so we had a base / some shade to cool off in. Queues weren't long at all, waited a few minutes tops for slides. Deducted a star as there was a power cut later in the afternoon which meant all the slides stopped, and the card machines weren't working. Would recommend water shoes if you have them, the ground is toasty.

Situated just next to Club Mac, this water park is super convenient if you're staying nearby. It has plenty of slides and attractions for both kids and adults, so everyone can have fun. We visited in October, and although the water was quite fresh (no heating!), it was still really nice to be able to enjoy the slides and pools at that time of year. The weather was pleasant enough to spend the whole afternoon there. There’s also a restaurant and snack area on site, which makes it easy to grab lunch or a drink between slides. The toilets and general areas were clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to spend a relaxing family day, especially if you want to mix some fun water activities with a bit of sunbathing. You can easily walk over from Club Mac, and after a few hours, just head back for dinner, super convenient! Tip: bring your own towels, flip-flops, and maybe a bit of patience if it’s busy, but overall it’s a fun, safe, and family-friendly water park worth visiting.

Very relaxing very good music the slides are unreal and the wave pool is amazing the staff are sooo kind and great for families or thrill people and great for little ones

Went with my 13 year old and 4 year old both had plenty for both age groups to keep them entertained. They both thoroughly enjoyed it.

Good fun. Online tickets are cheaper. Photo service they provide is a rip-off.

Do not recommend for fall holidays. (October) At a steep price of 84 euros for 1 adult and two children they still charge extra for a chair and even for a locker. It is ridiculously overpriced. You´d expect the water to be heated at this price but no such technology is present. Outside temp 23 degrees C yet the water is freezing cold. Not suitable for small children. Stay away! Spend your cash somewhere else.

Absolute bargain at €4 a ticket. Spent about 2 to 3 hours wandering the site and having a picnic. Fantastic way to spend a morning. Ticket includes museum entry. Its only small in comparison to the ruins but still worth a look. Closed during May Day.

Splendid and affordable! You can take a nice walk from the residential area to the forum and then to the theatre. The ruins look marvelous and are sufficiently described in three languages (Spanish, English and Mallorquin/Catalan?). You can find here many benches to take a break and ponder over the ruins. The place is also quite interesting for observing nature. The museum shop, although small, sells some nice items!

This is a very unassuming place. Entry was about Eur2.50/person and you think it’s just the ruins you can see! Well, buckle up as you’re on the start of a long walk! Look at the map in the guide. It takes you on a walk down past the first ruins and on to the Forum and finally you make it to the amphitheater. Now walk all the way back up! Along the way are signs in multiple languages so you can follow the story as you go. Loved it!

Nice walk around Roman ruins wasn’t expensive and plenty of information well worth a visit spent just over an 1 1/2 hours just having a good look around

Very interesting and low-cost attraction if you're in the area and in the mood for some history. Entrance fee was €5 for 2 people. Lots to read about!

Nice place to visit, very interesting next to the old town. But there are three roman sites, so we missed out on two. That will be for the next time we go!.

The ticket is cheap, so it's worth a visit. Antiquity lovers will love it.

The day we visited was very hot 41 degrees so we didn't explore as much as we had planned to. Water is lovely for a relaxing dip. Very pretty area and although lots of people about there's plenty of space so you are not in a crowd.

I recently returned to Port d’Alcudia after more than 15 years, and I’m happy to say it’s still every bit as fantastic as I remembered. Mallorca as a whole is a beautiful island with so much to offer – from stunning beaches and clear waters to great food, culture, and scenery. Port d’Alcudia, in particular, strikes a perfect balance between being lively and relaxing. There’s a great mix of restaurants, shops, and things to do, whether you want a quiet coffee by the marina or a walk along the long stretch of beach. One thing that hasn’t changed over the years is the people – the Spanish are genuinely some of the nicest and most welcoming people you’ll ever meet. Always friendly, always helpful, and it adds so much to the overall experience. It was great to be back after so long, and I’d happily return again. A fantastic destination that really does have something for everyone.

Perfect location to take boat tour of some of the top clothing optional beaches. Great restaurants on pier and nice shallow beach if you have kids. Two of the top beaches and clothing optional swimming areas are just short boat ride away.

There was a crazy racist wandering around even in the hottest summer day. Both some local working in near shop and a police patrol nearby told me she had chronological mental issue and had been around doing such thing for a long long time. If you are an African or an Asian, I suggest you to keep away for this region (Not sure if she harasses/attacks European or not, I did not see any). The photo is blurred to avoid privacy concern, but you will tell immediately if you run into her. Avoid confronting or contacting, it is not worth it.

Glorious sandy beach, crystal clear water and amazing views

Lovely place with calm, shallow waters geat for swimming and other activities. There are sun lounges with hats and mini lockers to store valuables safe. Lots of bars as well

Nice city of old town Alcúdia. You can get there easy by bus. If you are fit enough, you could just walk there from alcudia harbour. The city is beautiful. Small shops and restaurants u will find. It is also friendly for families with buggies.

We almost overlooked this place and went to Port d'Alcudia instead but absolutely glad we came! A beautiful old town with surrounding wall. A proper gem of a place with fantastic market stalls. A beautiful church to visit and the town center is very nice.

Alcúdia is a small gem on Mallorca that took my family by surprise. We took a laid back stroll through the neat narrow streets packed with local crafts and arts, bars and restaurants which felt like going back in time.

Such a lovely surprise to see the remains or the original castle and town wall’s protected and preserved. It was fun walking the whole perimeter to see what was on offer. There were a queue of people waiting to get up and down the wall steps but this was no major issue. The walls made a fun backdrop to the market that went on all through the town. It was a great Sunday visit.

Fantastic cave. Visitation is organised every hour in massive groups of 100+ people. Have enough time to take as many pictures as you want. At the end there is short trip on boat. Must see it.

A beautifully tranquil feeling church. Lots of history and situated next to the old walled town of Alicante . A one EURO entry fee worth every penny... euro...well worth a visit.

If you are in Alcúdia, then I would recommend you to visit this beautiful church/cathedral. It is located within walking distance from where the market is held and there is no entrance fee. It is unbelievable how much these churches are decorated it this is one is no exception.

It looks derelict! On derelict land surrounded by more dereliction. But, being an old defence tower circa 1599, it is interesting to see. When we were there, you couldn’t get into it but could get into the ground and walk around it. For the photographer, the area has interesting scenes opposite to those that are well kept areas. We were all of 10 minutes there. Hopefully the local council will see the value in such a monument and transform it into a well kept tourist attraction.

Could be improved by preserving the ground and maintaining the area around Potential of lovely views but ruined by overgrown bushes etc

The tower itself is quite interesting, but unfortunately, it is closed, so it is not possible to have a look inside. Located on a hill, with a nice view of Alcudia Bay. Certainly worth a walk from Port d'Alcudia. As an added bonus, walking there from the port, you will pass an old Alcudia power plant. Built in the 1950s, long since defunct, it has its own raw industrial beauty. I hope they will not demolish it as apparently there are plans to do it. On the opposite side, there are houses where workers of the power plant used to live, with a chappel, community building, and so on. The houses are run down and the area is all fenced now, but still, it is a display of the recent history of Alcudia, Alcanada area.

The best Majorcan defence tower we have seen and it's on a sad little wasteland sight and utterly neglected. You can park on the side of the road and just walk the 20m to the tower.

Lies in a residential area but there is a nice coastal walk along the water with possiblities for swimming.

Nice walk from town, all uphill so don't wear your flip flops. Unfortunately there is an abandoned factory and housing estate on the way which does spoil the vibe a little. Watch out for the horse and donkeys on the left on the way up the hill, they are very friendly. The view is lovely but a little restricted by constant new housing. The Fort itself is a historic building but alas there is no access for the public. A bit unfortunate if you make the decision to walk.

after a long day at the beach we did not manage to get there. According a map we found some old road, ending by fence with old factory from other side. With hungry kids at rear seats we had choosen a dinner as better option.

Beautiful location. Not for faint hearted. Walls are high, with waist height fencing. But Beautiful views of old town.

Great view from the top. Only one person at a time can go up or down the stairs, which can lead to long queues on busy days. Also not much shelter from the sun up on the wall.

Vincente and Gabri were very helpful, pickup was easy. The instructions were clear and English was not a problem. The ride was sensible with a short break to swim by a lovely beach in the clear turquoise water, lovely. A few photo opportunities and then a blast back to the marina. We even got to see a firefighting seaplane collect and then drop it's water between our two groups. A great trip i would advise people should do while in or around Alcudia. I used the same people for the sunset quad biking tour. A great evening ride out. Not dusty back tracks but interesting back roads winding out of Alcudia. A few water and photo stops up to a coastal stop to watch the sun go down. Then a dusk ride back to base. A lovely evening.

I did the 1hr 30 minute tour this morning and it was amazing thanks to Renata! She is the best guide I’ve had on a jet ski tour and all round a great person. Polite, friendly, kind and super funny too. If you’re thinking of going jetskiing USE GOJET! Plus ask for renata she takes good pictures aswell as being a great guide!

One of the best experiences we've had at sea so far. An hour of max adrenaline and wild ride through the waves. Big thanks to our guide Renata for taking care of us and our safety and also for the great photos. We recommend GOJET and certainly looking forward to do it again.

My son and I we booked the Coll Baix & Caves Tour on 18th of September, starting at 10 am and lasted 90 minutes. Our guide was Franco and we have been four people, each of us on his own jetski (seadoo). First time in my life that I was on a jetski but not the last time ... it was AMAZING, FUNNY and a PERFECT DAY along the coast around Alcudia !!! I choose the last position in the group and could "ride" my own track (many turns and jumping over waves); the seadoo without licence is restricted in speed and I came over 50 km/h - that's enough to enjoy the tour !!! I want to thank again Bicente, Ramona and our guide Franco for best service and entertainment !!! Johann

Renata, our instructor was amazing! Discovered the Coll Baix beach amidst beautifully formed rocks on a jet ski. Definitely recommend! Ensure you arrive in time and if you can manage to keep up to the speed of the instructor you can enjoy more time in the ocean. Be informed, even if you ride the jet ski solo or tandem, you’ll be amongst a group of others in the same trip. The timing depends in the speed of the full group. Definitely take a min of 90 mins to enjoy the true beauty, and more if you can! Thanks Renata and Team GoJet!

This company has been incredible from start to finish and with the help of everyone this Experience has definitely been the highlight of our holiday. Me and my family did the blue caves trip which was incredible, swimming around Majoricas spectacular blue caves, coves and even met captain Jack sparrow! And we also did the dolphin experience which was amazing! The dolphins come very close to the boat. Absolutely great company never had a bad experience. Very family friendly crew and staff who are always very attentive and professional. Booking was easy and they even pick you up and drop you off for the excursion. If you need photos taken they will happily accommodate and take them for you. In the colder months they will supply you with blankets to keep you warm, life jackets , snorkelling equipment and paddle boards are all provided. Been to Alcudia 3years running and we wouldn’t use anyone else for boat excursions. The boats are smaller so gives a more Personnal feel and no overcrowding. Can’t speak highly enough of this company and can’t wait to visit again.

Absolutely fantastic service from booking with Rosa over WhatsApp from my hotel for of us to being collected, taken to the port and all the above. The experience itself was for 3hrs, the staff on board were fantastic with the kids, and funny with it. An absolute must do! 8 kids in tow and everyone of them said it was the best part of the holiday ( 16-5yrs)- even the less confident swimmers loved it especially when they saw "real fish" snorkeling and jumping off the boat! Amazing trip. The boat experience was brilliant. Easy to book through Rosa on Whatsapp and picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Staff were really helpful, chatty and always smiling. Saw lots of dolphins, really lovely experience.

It was a fantastic trip we had to the caves near Alcudia and snorkel in the deep sea. The stag was friendly and attentive telling us history of the island and another stories. Highly recommended!!

We took a trip with Juan & Liliana a few weeks ago and what a wonderful experience it was. The tour was perfect and felt very exclusive compared to some of the other packed out boats we saw! It was very relaxed and Liliana made us a wonderful lunch. The whole crew were so welcoming and kind, we had lots of fun! Exactly what I hoped for when booking a half day boat tour. This was the most serene but exhilarating experience of our holiday. The trip is for small parties but is made even more special, as the size of the craft means there is so much room for everyone. It's a beautiful yacht. The crew are fantastic, and the food they prepared was delicious and well presented. The value for money is incredible. For just a little more than the price of the public transport offered by other sailing trips advertised, you get a personal experience that will never be forgotten.

Our recent boat trip with a group of nine was nothing short of spectacular, hitting all the right notes for a memorable day out. This is an absolutely must do!!! The boat is beautiful and the owners are so lovely and funny. So relaxing with light snacks and drinks. Stopped for snorkeling and swimming. Probably our best day in Mallorca. Much love from Tin Tin

We booked a day trip for our family, 2 adults and kids age 12 and 15. We had a fantastic time, such a warm welcome, great fun helping with the hoisting the sail and our 12 year old got to hold the wheel to steer the yacht and help to lower anchor. The music addition was brilliant and when we got to the little cove we swam through beautiful shoals of fish. A lovely lunch was provided and plenty of drinks. There were 10 guests in total and plenty of room for all. A real highlight of our trip!

Couldn’t ask for a better experience in Mallorca. The smoothest boat trip, the most delicious snack, and the kindest crew. I sprained my ankle before the boat trip, and thought that I’d miss the opportunity to climb up to the mast. However, the whole crew encouraged me to try, definitely helped me to get down and made sure I was safe. The destination, Cala Coll Baix has the perfect deep blue water. Liliana communicated so well before the trip on whatsapp, super responsive, and made you feel welcome as soon as you get on board. Juan, the captain, has been sailing around Mallorca for 25 years and knows every corner of it. When he highly recommended Alcúdia, you can’t really say no😉 Mark, a strong young guy, always trying to help and great hospitality too. This wonderful trio really lit up my Mallorca trip.

Always a pleasure to book and ride with Ciclos Major. Smooth process from airport transfers to offering daily multiple ride options which you are informed of the day before. They listen to what clients want, if there is a particular location you wish to cycle to, they will do thir upmost to accommodate. With bags of experience, the guides will avoid main roads where possible, so you will see the real Majorca. Ciclos Major also have the added benefit of having a car as backup if necessary for a mechanical issue that cannot be fixed. They have created such an experience that you will be wanting to return each year.

Took a mixed group of 24 of Tri Team Wessex triathlon club (age range 27 -60+, some GB age group athletes, long distance and short distance competitors and beginners) for 4 days. This is our 7th trip to Mallorca as a club and the first with CiclosMajor as the main company. Excellent experience with communication, organisation, transport, guided rides, and flexibility of groups. Can highly recommend and will undoubtedly use again.

This was as my second visit to Ciclos Major & once again it was a fantastic experience. Liz & Darryl, the hosts, have a great team of very knowledgeable guides (Dave , Steve & Robbie during my visit) who know the island, the routes & iconic climbs so well. There are several rides of differing speeds/distances so ideal for all cyclists of all levels. The accommodation & food at the Zafiro is also very good. Thank you Liz & Darryl for a fantastic overall cycling experience, I'm already planning for 2025 & looking forward to meeting up again.

I cannot recommend Ciclos Major highly enough! We were warmly greeted by Ben and Karen who helped us unpack and reassemble our bikes (something I was a little worried about doing on my own), they then took us on a lovely 20 mile ride to check they were ok (stopping on the way for coffee & to cheer 6 of our friends over the finishing line of the 312). My rear mech was a little misaligned but I arrived at the bike cage the next morning to find that Antony & Ben had sorted it for me. The rest of the week followed in the same vein. Darryl, Liz, Antony and their team could not have been more accommodating. Each day’s ride was tailored to the needs of our group, taking into consideration those recovering from 312, acclimatisation for the new arrivals and even one to one guidance for our e-bike rider. We were a group of mixed abilities and confidence but the guidance, route knowledge, expertise, empathy and professionalism of the team ensured that we all got everything that we wished for from our holiday. It was the first time I had tackled such high elevation, not minding the climbs so much as the descents. I needn’t have worried, knowing that Bruce was patiently, right behind me going down Randa made it a much less scary experience. We stayed at the Palace. My only reservation being that the food was so good, I fear I gained weight even after over 300 miles of cycling. The rooms were spotless, helpful staff and lovely pools. The sociable CM team were around at breakfast and dinner each day, so hospitable and always going that extra mile to help. A special thank you to Ben & Karen who I rode with most days. Between them, they have a wealth of knowledge and tips which they will happily share. I’m still spinning 😉

Fantastic cycling experience. Well run, brilliantly guided with runs to suit all abilities and hotel facilities and food very good as well. All in a great package. Will certainly be back next year to set some more PBs and hit those climbs again.

Of course, the Tramuntana Mountains are absolutely spectacular and Mallorca is a stunning island so we were already off to a good start with the destination. Our guide was second to none and showed us countless fantastic views and hidden corners that we would never have found on a shared tour and certainly not on our own.
