Woeser Bakery is a charming and cozy cafe located in the basement of Black Magic restaurant. It offers a variety of sweet treats, espresso, and has options for vegans and those who are gluten-free. The bakery provides a calm environment to enjoy a perfectly brewed cup of cappuccino. Customers can also indulge in chocolate-covered cherries or savor the famous carrot cake while surrounded by friendly chatter.
Lovely little quiet place tucked into the wall. I loved the peace and solitude I felt here.. unlike hustle and bustle of other cafes. Come here for great cups of coffee, awesome desserts and lovely selection of books!

I love this bakery. It was a random selection from the list. You enter here and there is warmth in the environment. We tried coffee, hot chocolate, tart, and cakes, and instantly felt calm from the winter. Carrot cake is a must! Backyard sitting is also open which has a beautiful view of the city. Enjoy!

Woeser Bakery is a wonderful Tibetan small business that is run by the amazing Sangma! This woman owner bakery is a unique treat located in Dharamshala! The bakery has a wide selection of yummy treats including vegan cakes, tarts, walnut cups, custom cakes, tsampa balls, breads, coffees, shakes, and hot and iced teas! (And more!!) Located on the second floor, it is super easy to find! The vibes are full of love and peace. She named the bakery after her daughter. The baked good are super fresh and yummy! Gluten free options are available! The seating inside is very cozy and has a bright and light filled atmosphere. There is also a terrace to sit on that overlooks the mountains and nearby surroundings (beautiful view!!) Coffee is really fresh and perfectly flavored. Please come support this Tibetan small female owned business! Highly recommended, do not miss this one! 🙏

The quaint little cafe tucked away under the Black Magic Restaurant in the mini Tibet Market is perfect for coffee and homemade cakes. It's run by two amazing women who bring the best of homemade confectionary to the visitors. Do try their homemade espresso and any of the tarts. All of them are equally yummy!
Koumudi C — Google review
A true hidden gem of McLeod Ganj! Woeser bakery is a must try with an impressive array of scrumptious desserts. It is run by a lovely lady, Sangmo who has at several instances baked for his holiness Dalai Lama. I highly recommend the chocolate tart, the chocolate truffle, the carrot cake, the handmade coffee and the rhododendron tea. The place has a very cozy vibe to it and they also have a decent collection of books to read while you’re there.

Creperie
Crepe Pancake Hut is a charming family-friendly cafe in the hill town of McLeodganj, offering an array of breakfast options and delectable dessert choices. The cozy interior features wooden artwork, framed wall paintings, and a collection of books for visitors to enjoy. With low tables, floor cushions, and a relaxed lounge-like ambiance, it exudes chic vibes perfect for lazy days.
Beautiful heartwarming cozy cafe with an owner who advocates for a vegan diet. You'll need to get here by cab or walking. The nearest paid public car park is a bit far. It's a small cafe with 3 to 4 tables in a room, located on first floor with no lifts. Accessibility could be challenging for some. You'll love the spirit of the place if you care about the establishment being pro-vegan though they carry vegetarian food as well. The owner is a lovely lady who cares about her causes. The place is stacked with a mini library that reflects her values. The menu is fairly limited to crepes, waffles, sandwiches, and other finger foods but you could still enjoy a meal here if you'd like that. The food itself was excellent. The thick banana Nutella pancake was heavenly. The vegan choco chip cookies blew my mind as they were made sugar free. I couldn't understand how it tasted so well if it had no sugar. The avacado sandwich and waffle tasted great too. My wife who is vegan loved the food and wished coming back on a Wednesday when the cafe offers only vegan dishes. Very thoughtful way to promote veganism. The food was well priced, expensive for Mcleodganj standards but definitely worth it if you care about supporting great vegan food!
Durai D — Google review
Go for the breakfast here. Have some freshly made crepe pancakes along with a beverage of your choice and you will thank your stars! Take in the breathtaking view while the aroma of pancakes and crepes waft in the air.
Kaushiky H — Google review
When I think back to my time in McLeodganj, this café stands out as one of the most memorable parts. The cozy atmosphere, the healthy food prepared with care, and the wonderful people I met here made it feel like home. This is the perfect place to read a book and drink tea while watching the mountains outside. Yangzom cares for the guests and makes the place special. I hope to visit again someday.
Ashish D — Google review
A very good restaurant! The restaurant has a cosy atmosphere. The best advantage and a reason, we chose to visit is the fact, that you have gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options to choose from. If possible, they will let you switch ingredients of a meal based on your special needs. They serve nice big portions, we ordered gluten-free burrito whith avocado and full of boiled and also fresh veggies. The portion was bigger than expected, we almost had problems to finish it :). We were afraid to eat fresh vegs in India because of water contamination, but here they state in the menu that they treat the vegetables with sterilised water, which is very important. We had no problem after eating their vegs. Keep in mind that they don't serve every option from the menu every day, as it is a small restaurant, but you will always have options to choose from even if you have special needs. As a dessert we got a gluten and dairy free pancake with no sugar, just fresh fruit. Very nice experience.
Hermína O — Google review
Awesome place to spend some quality time alone or with group. The owner is a very nice and friendly lady. Their menu is awesome and the preparation of food is very authentic and delicious.
Nanz S — Google review
One of our favorite cozy spots in Dharamshala/Mccleod Ganj. Shakshuka, crepes, veg sushi and vegan peanut butter noodles are some of our favorites. Oh and I normally don't like. Kombucha much, but their homemade Mango/mint kombucha is delicious! Must try! (note my husband usually orders extra eggs with shakshuka, the normal portion everywhere is usually 2).
Megan B — Google review
Quaint little cafe with most heartwarming food. The owner has been mindful in advocating enough for sustainability (cloth/ wooden coasters, felt slippers for guests, minimum disposable items) and vegan diet of course! Do yourself a favour and visit over for a breakfast if around mcleodganj.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crepe Pancake I had the best experience here! The crepes and galettes were so delicious — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff were super nice and made me feel really welcome. The place has such a cozy vibe, perfect for brunch or a treat with friends. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Definitely coming back soon! 💛

🌟 A Memorable Experience! 🌟 We recently visited this incredible place and were blown away by the awesome food 🍽️, the stunning ambience 🌿, and the absolutely mesmerizing view 🌅. The management, led by the ever-helpful Mr. Jatin 🙌, went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. We were a group of 3 and had an amazing time! 🎉 From sharing great laughs to resolving minor concerns, the owner personally ensured everything was perfect. Not only did he address our complaints thoughtfully, but he also surprised us with complimentary beers 🍻—such a lovely gesture! The live music 🎶, especially the local songs, was a highlight of the evening. It truly made the atmosphere unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place with great vibes✨, fantastic service 🏅, and a touch of local charm, this is it! Highly recommended! ✅

Best place to chill out a little. Live music, good food, with a little bit of light beer, best view. All in all it sets the right ambiance to cool out yourself. We ordered speghetti pasta and mushroom pizza. Pizza was really good so its recommended to taste for sure.

It was nice experience of visiting Morgan's place. Food was good and ambience was too good. It's like you're sitting in nature's lap. Beautiful nature. Highly recommend if you visit dharamkot. Do visit
Musafir — Google review
Went here for dinner and really enjoyed the overall experience. The ambience is lovely, especially with the live music adding a nice touch. The pizza was fantastic — a 12-inch size for under ₹500 is definitely a great deal. The Aglio Olio pasta, however, was a bit on the dry side. For dessert, I tried the waffle - dry and was not crisp
Bhawesh G — Google review
Absolutely loved Morgan’s Place! The food is fresh, flavorful, and full of options for vegetarians. The wood-fired pizzas and white sauce pasta are a must-try! The ambiance is cozy. Staff are friendly, service is quick, and the vibe is just perfect for a peaceful meal in the hills. One of the best dining experiences in McLeodganj — highly recommended!
RAHUL S — Google review
Tucked away in the serene beauty of the hills, this Italian restaurant is pure magic. The cool breeze, mountain views, and warm aroma of wood-fired pizzas make it an unforgettable spot. I tried their handmade pasta and classic Margherita pizza—both were bursting with flavor and freshness. The tiramisu was the cherry on top: light, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. Cozy interiors, friendly staff, and the perfect backdrop for a slow, heartwarming meal. If you’re visiting the Dharamkot, this place is a must-visit for all Italian food lovers!
Jiya Y — Google review
Average food, Loved the vibe though. Tried a few dishes but the taste could really be worked upon. We ordered Pizza and Garlic Bread. The cheese was overcooked on the garlic bread and instead of a garlic bread loaf normal market bread was used. Also the Pizza looked tempting but the taste was really average.

Atmos scored 4 as I was dining early and only one in, but I can imagine this place really rocks later on. The sweetcorn soup was excellent and the Manchurian chicken fabulous. Must be high on the list of places to go in McLeod Ganj.

Worst experience in Mcleodganj- Stayed in the city for more than 3 days but didn’t witness such a service. We with our friends went to the place and live singing was happening. The Folks servicing asked us to not drink from the alcohol bought from outside the cafe. We agreed and ordered food. While waiting my friend requested if he can also sing as the main singer from the cafe was done and was resting. The folks serving their denied very rudely and didnt even took our order after 15 mins when we checked on status they just cancelled it impromptu. Pathetic place please avoid - better visit - Mcllo, Papa Wisky , Jimmy’s ( Good empathetic staff and good food and ambience)

Perfect Place to Sit, Enjoy Live Music over Weekends and have your delicious BITE of the CAKE and Hot Chocolate! Came here just casually strolling around on the streets of M'Ganj! Really liked the Ambience and Loved the Crockery and Lights! We ordered Hot Chocolate, Carrot Cinnamon Cake, Banana Cake, Double Chocolate Cake! I personally enjoyed everything except Banana Cake, but others liked that as well! Enjoyed our time here with loads of Books and few Games to Play! On Weekdays, the place is bit quiet and not crowdy if one wants to enjoy that atmosphere! On Weekends, place is quite happening with Live Music and Crowd! I recommend trying this place when in M Ganj! Place accepts Cards, UPI and Cash!
Bhavi S — Google review
This place is amazing! The Ramen is packed full of cheese, kimchi, meat and egg! Best Korean ramen in town! Night time is lush with live music, we’ll be back!
Backpacker_ B — Google review
Came here for dessert and a coffee after dinner because the reviews were so great. The coffee was pretty good but the brownie cake was dry as could be and barely edible. The carrot cake was inedible, with plastic like icing, hard and dry cake, completely tasteless. Both cakes were obviously microwaved (completely unnecessary) and likely a few days old.. I give three stars because the coffee was still very good and the staff was friendly and did take the uneaten carrot cake off my bill.
Logan C — Google review
If you're a book lover with a fondness for great n warm ambience, then this cafe is for you. Great playlist in the background, a warm cozy fireplace and an assortment of food and beverages. I wished to stay there fo as long as possible...it is "my kind of a place" ❤️

I highly recommend the pizza , it’s just exquisite! The service is top notch and fast , people are so kind and loving , will return :)

I loved at Bodhi Greens it’s a vegan cafe, I had a V60 coffee and another day a daliya bowl. The coffee was really good, strong but smooth. The daliya bowl was simple, warm, and pretty filling — kind of gave a homely feel. The place is amazing and nice to sit for a while. Staff were polite and service was quick, You must visit.
Sabir — Google review
Been there several times, one of the most recommended places in Dharamkot with healthy meals. Staff there is very friendly and make you feel like home. Loved their smoothies bowls.
Mohit R — Google review
Visited Body Greens due to the statement for healthy food. Had a pumpkin soup and their version of pad thai. The flavours could not impress and generally prepare these dishes better at home myself. The location itself is nice and could have a lot of potential. Edit: After the food in the restaurant, and their feedback, I wanted to give them a second chance so tried their bakery products and went for the mango cheese cake. The piece in the photo is 350 INR... never had such a small piece offered. It was frozen at least sometimes due to the water crystals, flavourless and tasted more like cardboard than Mango Cheese cake.
Dirk B — Google review
Beautiful place by beautiful & passionate people. The only cafe I liked in Dharmkot. Healthy nutritious food at reasonable prices. The only thing is, you need to wait a lot to get your order sometimes. And sometimes there’s noone to attend or talk to. The smoothie & smoothie bowls were fabulous. It’s Satvik & nutritious. Chef Varun is a sweet guy, you might find him there smiling & waving. Beautiful place.
NiNiShu — Google review
Like the concept but not the dessert unfortunately. Tea is good with their special coconut-soy milk. Banana bread I didnt enjoy - very coarse grainy texture, too sweet and not great after taste.

I wanted to have chocolate croissants here but they had run out of that. So I ended up trying Mango and Plum Pie here. Mango Pie was really good. The crust was perfectly baked. Plum Pie was made out of fresh plums and tasted sweet and sour. I personally preferred mango over plum pie.

This place is very easy to miss as it is just a counter on to the street. Don't overlook it! The cakes are absolutely delicious, and the owner is very sweet. I'm so glad I tried his cakes and biscuits. We bought the Yak cheese cake, Tibetan biscuit, and the carrot nut cake.

If you were in Dharamshala and didn't visit this place - you loose beautiful food experience. Very good quality of cakes, biscuits and brownies. Yak cheese is also available. We liked all what we have tried but the best chocolate balls and rum cake. The owner is sooo cute ^_^ we felt that he really loves what he does :)

Chocolate mud cake was great in taste and perfectly layered with melted chocolate. And lastly the finest was banana muffins. It had melting bananas inside and that taste.. It was amazing. The bakery owner, the chef and a humble guy adds worth having at least one from here.

Nestled in a charming Himalayan village, Moonlight Cafe Bakery is a delightful retreat that welcomes visitors with its inviting ambiance and mouthwatering aromas. This cafe offers an impressive menu that beautifully blends Tibetan cuisine, continental favorites, and artisanal baked goods, showcasing the region's rich cultural heritage. Each dish is crafted with locally sourced ingredients to ensure freshness while incorporating modern culinary trends for a contemporary twist.
Ethereal ambience, and the ginger lemon honey tea here is supremely good. The food was also great. You will find lots of travelers, locals and visitors in this pretty popular spot. Take a walk around the lanes and stop by for a quick snack, totally worth it.

Dharamkot! I have visited McLeodganj a handful of times, but I was completely unaware of this charming little gem until recently. During our stroll along the vibrant streets of McLeodganj, we encountered some friendly locals who enthusiastically recommended a visit to Dharamkot. When we mentioned that we had our two young kids with us and that a trek up there might be challenging, they kindly suggested an easier route to lower Dharamkot. Determined to explore, we set out on foot, as the distance was advertised as just 1 kilometre. However, we soon discovered that the path was a steep climb, with an incline of about 50-60 degrees that left us catching our breath. Spotting a Maruti Alto heading in the same direction, we seized the opportunity and flagged it down. For a modest fare of ₹200, we were conveniently dropped off at our destination. Our goal was the Moonlight Cafe, a name that had been enthusiastically shared by a friend. Upon arriving, we quickly realised that the cafe's reputation was well-deserved. Perched on the first floor, the setting was incredibly inviting, with a pristine atmosphere that set it apart. The menu offered a delightful variety of Israeli, Italian, and local cuisines, which piqued our interest. Since we had just finished breakfast, we opted for lighter fare—enjoying steaming cups of coffee and fragrant tea. The ambience was lively, with a few other tourists savouring cold beers, adding to the cheerful vibe. The decor was thoughtful and artistic, creating a warm and welcoming environment. There was even a cosy sitting area where guests could enjoy their meals on mats, complete with bolsters, after removing their shoes, which added a unique touch to the experience. We truly relished our time at the Moonlight Cafe, soaking in the tranquil surroundings and friendly atmosphere. Next time, we’ll make it a point to try out some of their acclaimed dishes!

Located in Dharamkot’s Israel Market, the spot is convenient for exploring the area and easy to find. The atmosphere is pleasant—neat, clean, and comfortable—with a tidy washroom, a shelf of books for reading, and casual games like cards for some downtime. Service was on the slower side during the visit, and the food was just okay, especially considering the slightly higher prices compared to nearby places. It’s also worth noting that it isn’t very kid-friendly, and smoking is allowed indoors, which may not suit families. Overall, a handy location with a relaxed vibe and thoughtful touches, but expectations should be set around pacing, pricing, and the indoor smoking policy.

What a gem in Dharamkot! The rice chicken and Tibetan soup was mouthwatering, and the cafe's atmosphere is just perfect for a relaxing meal. DOST, the friendly German Shepherd, adds a special touch to the experience. The ambience and location couldn't be better. I'll definitely be coming back!

This place has some of the best food in Dharamkot. The staff is so nice and welcoming. There is a guy here named Bantu and he is the nicest, sweetest person I’ve met in dharamkot He gives such good service and care to the customers. We love coming here :)

Food is always delicious here! Their thali is amazing. The staff is very friendly and they have beautiful huge dog! It’s really good to sit here for a while and I like the music (it’s not too loud)

Good ambiance, comfortable seating and nice view. Tried cafe mocha, GLH, sandwich and sizzler, food is delicious here. This place is quite crowded in the evening and vibe is good. Service is a bit slow and glass in which I was served water smelled of smoke.

Cafe
The Other Space is a multifaceted establishment in Dharamsala, India that serves as both a cafe and an art gallery. The venue boasts minimalistic interiors with a stunning view of the valley, complemented by the aroma of freshly baked goods and soothing music. It also functions as a co-working space and features exquisite artwork adorning its walls and shelves.
The Other Space in McLeodganj is a cozy gem we couldn’t resist visiting every evening. Their coffee is exceptional—rich and perfectly brewed—paired with the best croissants in town, flaky and delicious. The cakes are equally delightful, and the café’s unique concept adds a special touch. A must-try spot for a warm, relaxing vibe!

A quaint little place on the road to McLeodganj, one might miss it if one isn’t attentive, but once you get in, the place is unforgettable! Looks like an art gallery and a cafeteria in one. The outdoor seating is good for groups of two to three, but there is ample space for a larger group indoors. The food was amazing, well made and served with care, I’d love to visit again the next time I’m here.

Super cute and artistic spot! We stopped by on a Wednesday—there was mellow techno playing like a sundowner, which gave it a great vibe. Had a coffee and fresh bruschetta, both really good. Beautiful views and a creative, chill atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

A must visit if you are in mcloedgunj. 10 mins walk from mall road or Main market but the place & view is worth. The place has aesthetic vibe. Food is really very good loved their Breakfast specially jam & croissant. Mocha was fantastic. Thank you ! 🎆

We recently visited The Other Space café on Jogiwara Road, around 2 km before McLeodganj, lured in by the glowing reviews online. The place looked promising at first—stylish interiors, a young and vibrant vibe, and what seemed like an appealing food menu. It was a typical monsoon day, so the view (which many rave about) was swallowed by thick fog. That’s nature’s doing, and we don’t fault the café for that. What we do fault them for is something far more intrusive and completely avoidable—smoking being allowed in the seating area. We were seated in a small balcony space, trying to enjoy our meal in the cozy weather. But that mood was utterly wrecked when someone nearby lit up a cigarette. And then another guy lit another one. All the smoke, thanks to the wind, kept blowing straight to our table. There was no restriction, no designated smoking zone, no staff intervention, and not even a sign telling people to be mindful of others. It was as if the place encourages people to puff away in shared dining areas. We came for a peaceful meal, not to inhale someone else’s second-hand smoke along with our food. Speaking of food—it was decent, no complaints there. But honestly, what’s the point of decent food and cute décor when you’re constantly battling toxic smoke in a cramped outdoor spot? It’s shocking that no other reviews mention this. Either people are turning a blind eye or the place is just getting away with it. No matter how aesthetic your walls are, how good your food might taste, or how charming your crowd is—if you can’t guarantee a basic non-smoking dining space, you’ve failed your customers. We rushed through our food just to get out of there. The moment the plates were cleared, we left, disappointed and annoyed, in search of a place that values clean air as much as it values its Instagram aesthetic.

A café with a view and a total vibe check! What a beautifully curated space that brings together food, art, and music so effortlessly. The view from the balcony? Absolutely mesmerizing — the kind that makes you pause and just take it all in. The food is great — the pasta hits the spot, and the coffee is just what you need, whether you're starting your day or winding down. It's the perfect place to sit peacefully with your cup, get some work done, or simply soak in the calm ambience around you. The staff is super friendly, always making you feel at home. And there’s also a little section where you can pick up beautiful pieces made by local artists — such a thoughtful touch. Honestly, what more could you ask from a café? A must-visit if you're around.

A very cute cafe in Mcleodganj. Great service, great food. The butter croissant is so well done 😍 We also had veggie pizza which was as good. Some wonderful paintings on the cafe walls. Cappuccino was nicely brewed. Music is perfect for good vibes. They also offer a paid workspace (600/- per day) Of course the mountain views can’t be missed. :)

Stumbled upon this cafe on my way back from McLeodganj to Kotwali (Khara danda road) . The food was delicious, and the ambiance was lovely. The sitting area was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views. I loved the cozy vibe, with people working on laptops . It's a great spot to take a break and recharge. Highly recommend for anyone passing through🫶☕️

Nestled in the charming town of McLeodganj, Green Restaurant is a delightful spot that truly embodies the essence of an all-rounder. This cozy eatery offers a fantastic breakfast experience, where you can bask in the gentle sunlight and admire vibrant flowers while savoring delicious dishes. The inviting patio provides stunning views, making it an ideal place to start your day. With its clean environment and attentive service, Green Restaurant has become a favorite for many locals and visitors alike.
A gem of a restaurant in Mcleod Ganj. Fantastic food for a reasonable price. Very kind staff. The balcony has a wonderful view. I ate there at least a dozen times and I never got sick.

A wonderful balcony where you can drink coffee and smoke a cigarette (one of the few places in McLeod). Americano coffee is ok. I tried to eat here and it was terrible (Green rice?) :( Over the past 6 years since I have been here, the cuisine has become not tasty.

A hotel with its own restaurant. Order some drinks and cake, though the prices might be relatively high in Dharamsala, it's still easy to enjoy the calm morning here: just sit on the balcony with sunshine and mountain view, which is really relaxing.

We had our breakfast here after all recommendation by a friend. The veg roll, Cheese Omlette were quite good, so was the cold coffee which was not on the menu but they obliged. Quiet ambiance and view of hills.

Wonderful patio, good service, clean, descent food and cappuchinos. I enjoy the views and very affordable. I am adding more info. I love this place. I go at least 4 times a week. The staff is wonderful. Always kind, gracious and helpful. I think the parathas here are best I ever had. Light and perfect. I always feel relaxed and happy after coming here. Its very clean and I strongly recommend everyone eat here.

The best Apple and carrot cake EVER!!! It's such a cozy place and do notice their heater. Silly, but their brass heater in the middle of the room is such a stunner. Sipping a cup of coffee with friends and having the best cozy cakes in this place is purely magical

Visit and ruin your today. We had visited green restaurant in the month of January on the recommendation of our hotel owner (we asked him for pure veg restaurant suggestions here in Mcleodganj). First day we went to see the ambience and the menu, let me tell you restaurant was completely empty so we decided to come some other day. Second day, around 8 of us went there for dinner, again restaurant was completely empty but as there were few pure veg restaurant options and wanted to try Tibetan cuisine in Mcleodganj we thought to give it a try. We had some issue with the taste of certain food item. The daughter of the couple (owners of the restaurant & hotel) who took our order refuse to believe and said this is how authentic food taste. This arrogant lady cancelled our coffee order on her own and said “we won’t be going to like the taste of it so they have cancelled it”. Never in my life I have experienced such nonsense from any restaurant owner/ staff. We complained about her rude behavior to the couple (we believe her parents), to our surprise instead of being apologetic about her daughter’s behavior and rude statements they yelled at us that we tourist come and create nuisance over here. At one point of time this arrogant lady (this time the mother of the arrogant daughter) told us to leave the premises. Trust me we would have left at that time itself but since all the food we ordered had come on the table we didn’t want to waste it so we had whatever we could, paid the bill and left the hell. Few observations we had after this incident: I could see foreigner’s photos on the walls of the restaurant, I feel they probably run it only for them and Indian tourists are just for creating nuisance is what they believe. (Pure hatred towards Indians, need to check their origin) They really got offended when we pointed out the issue with the food, probably the food is foreigners certified and not really for Indians. This arrogant family believe by running this restaurant/hotel they are doing some favor to this world. Please somebody make them understand what hospitality industry is and how it functions, if they can’t even take suggestions they should probably do something else. I should have read reviews about the restaurant/ hotel before coming here, every 2nd review is about the rude behavior of the owners, anyways I would never recommend it to anyone.
