Me and my bf go here when we have a meal out and it’s always such a nice experience. If you have a cocktail you do like usually, they can always help you pick out a quirky one. We had this one with chicken salt on it, which doesn’t sound nice but trust me, it’s amazing. Next time I go I will definitely try the flight of margaritas 🍋‍🟩

OMG, what a fabulous hidden gem, proper speakeasy, knock on the door and wait to be ushered in, great staff, great cocktails a genuinely awesome negroni and a great atmosphere.

I'll start with I have high expectations. Went to this little hidden place and had a couple cocktails. They weren't to bad but they weren't special either. Now I have been having many cocktails all over London UK and all pretty much mediocre or slightly above. I didn't find this any better or worse. Went to order a special scotch they had but they kinda have a stupid rule where you need to buy a drink with it, which is fine but the drink you just got doesn't count, which is kinda dumb. They do have some great scotch if that's your thing. Overall just not WOW'd.

Lovely place, great experimental cocktails, nice decor but not over the top / too much, and the jazz pianist on monday-thursday from 8 till 9 is absolutely amazing (we actually went two days in a row because we loved it all so much)

It’s a secret. Well it was. There’s even a sign telling you where to knock. Great vibe, cocktails and snacks. The OG secret cocktail bar speakeasy in Liverpool. Easier to get into than it was. Ideal after a night at The Grapes on Roscoe Street. Used to be ideal before a visit to Some Place the secret absinthe bar but that has quite tragically closed. A large group will struggle to get in because it is small. Amazing selection of whiskeys. Masses of cocktails.

Amazing venue. We joined the short queue and waited around 15mins until we could go in. It's well worth the wait. We were taken to a pair of stools near the bar which was set for us. There was a welcome drink each and 2 glasses of water. The welcome drink was amazing, unfortunately I can't remember the name. The drinks menu is hidden inside a book, the first part of the menu is cocktails, some classic cocktails and some unusual ones. I've There's a large selection of whiskey and gin on the menu. We visited during January, the menu also had a large selection of non alcoholic cocktails. We had 4 cocktails and each was amazing, mixed to perfection. The prices ranged from about £8 to £11 for a cocktail.

Absolutely amazing bar with live piano in the evening. Limited moctails, but the ones I had I enjoyed.

Amazing weekend both Saturday and Sunday at Modo. Lovely staff and atmosphere Very hot in the club on Saturday though. Better air conditioning might help. I didn’t eat there. Thanks to the team!

The place to be late at night especially at the weekends.... be prepared to wait at the bar.... its mega busy..

Suzie was a lovely host and server for us! helped us with knowing the drink deals and was so quick and friendly with her service!! Always a good place to come in the sun but Susie made it even better!!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was electric — great music, stylish decor, and an energy that just makes you want to dance all night. The DJs knew exactly how to keep the crowd going, mixing classic anthems with current bangers. The staff were friendly and quick at the bar, which is always a bonus on a busy night. We booked a table and had bottle service — it was well worth it. The outdoor terrace area was perfect for a breather between sets and still had a great vibe. Modo is hands down one of the best spots in Liverpool for a proper night out. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent service during a very busy day for the end of the Premier league. Didn't take long to get a drink, staff were very quick to sort out the roof outside when it started to rain, great atmosphere and staff all round

Stunning day like today, we sat and enjoyed their famous cocktails.

Proper good venue. It's a decent size and has an industrial feel about it. Brilliant for live performances. We saw Metallica Reloaded here and they were tremendous! I've knocked one star off for the price of the drinks! Daylight robbery! Two G&Ts and a can of Guinness zero was £25!! Apart from the ripoff drinks, staff are friendly and as a live music venue, it can't be faulted! Recommended. Not highly recommended I'm afraid.

1970s daytime disco. Music great, drinks not cheap but ok. Not too busy. Shame the floor totally ruined my shoes. Took great chunks out of the sole and heel, my friend exactly the same, God knows what's on it!! Don't wear anything you like a lot! The floor glues to your feet.

Went for the comic con after party and was such an amazing night! We had acts from Drag Castle and Leigh Francis was the DJ but did also come out as his alter egos from bo selecta and Keith lemon! Then a fantastic performance from the Double Band who were just shit hot! Rating 3 stars because drinks were very expensive. I was like 20 quid for 2 double vodkas and coke 😬

Saw Suede there on 5th Sept. Great venue but it gets mighty hot in summer.

Went to a 70s day from 2pm till about 7,30pm and was Brilliant none stop 70s music with everyone dressed in 1970s outfits, bar prices are o,k it's very surprising how big this place is and there is lots of parking available.

Went to Day fever on 20th Sept 25. I was happy enough, however, my 2 friends were a little disappointed, as there was nothing for the £12+ entry. They felt a complimentary drink should have been on offer, especially as the drinks are expensive (£19.80 for 3 single vodkas and mixers) and not Smirkoff, in small plastic cups! For that reason we only stayed till 6pm

Good gig venue - nice space. Drinks aren't too expensive, although a couple more alcohol-free beer options would be good. Would recommend.

Stopped by Concert Square in Liverpool after being offered a card for a free shot while walking past. Seemed like a nice gesture—until we sat down and were told they had “run out” of the shot. Felt like a bait-and-switch tactic just to get people in. We ordered drinks to the table and waited… and waited. Meanwhile, we watched multiple people who went directly to the bar receive their drinks far quicker than us. After about 15 minutes, we asked a server who took the order where our drinks were. He said he’d check but continued serving other tables without following up. Asked again, got the same vague response. Only after 25 minutes from entering did we finally get our drinks. It’s a shame, really—Concert Square could be a great spot with its nice outdoor area. But the service was frustratingly slow and disorganized. With so many similar venues in Liverpool offering better service and value, we won’t be returning. Plenty of better options nearby. Funny enough, on our way out we told the lady offering the free shots that they had run out, that didn't stop her from handing the card out.

Totally Crap! Snails faster than the staff , took 3 orders from same table, 30 mins for everyone to get their drinks ! 2.30 in the afternoon, music so loud you could barely talk to the person sat next to you! Security were too busy messing about and on their phones , first and last time!

Great atmosphere and good service, servers kept coming to ask if we would like any more drinks.

me and my friends visited after hearing good things about this place. we was left with disappointment as the girl behind the bar was quite utterly rude and disrespectful. I appreciate it was a busy environment (ish) however the barwoman made me and my friends feel unwelcome as we placed our orders and was left with sighs. huffing an puffing at us was really disrespectful in my opinion. not to mention she forgot Proseccos on the martinis, which I had to collect from the bar the next time I went up. she was also visibly upset when I went to get them. i understand it was busy but showing that you can't be bothered is unprofessional. drinks was nice tho and cheap

Came here on Thursday and went down to the tunnel, upon waiting in the queue for drinks we were seen quite quickly. I had my order written down on my phone to show the bartender which is what I did, she then asked with an attitude what mixer I wanted with the vodka which I said what I wanted she then turned around to put this on the till and I had cash which I was handing to her and she VERY RUDELY rolled her eyes at me which is very rude and disrespectful. Are we not allowed to pay with cash? This resulted in me walking off and not continuing with buying my drinks as I don’t want to be served by someone who has rolled their eyes at me for doing completely nothing wrong other than paying with cash for MY drinks. I understand we all have bad days but to actually roll your eyes and have an attitude right in front of the customer you are serving then unfortunately you should not be working the type of job you are doing. If you do not like your job then simply find a new and better one that suits you!

Was due to have a cocktail-making and pizza session for a hen do at a local bar (Peacocks) but it got changed on the day to Heebie Jeebies and we're so pleased with how it all worked out! Eddie, Jasmin and Nadia were super friendly and brought a great atmosphere to our group - they explained the steps clearly, provided us with plenty of additional shots as 'prizes' and were great at revving up all 20 hens. It was a highlight of our weekend - thank you!

Decent club with multiple rooms over 3 floors! Friendly staff and a good varied crowd. Live music was on downstairs and old school tunes upstairs. There’s definitely an energetic atmosphere here!

Very cozy to sit at one of the window seats on a cold windy day. Nice ambiance with candles all around. Was not too busy early Saturday afternoon but musicians were setting up so probably gets jammed a little later on .

the atmosphere is good the service is good. they need better bouncers on my friend was sick in the court yard as it was too hot inside and we got kicked out. they need to sort the bouncers out .

If you're used to table service Liverpool clubs are not the one. There is a lot of club hopping and most people come as couples. But the nightlife is really good. Next time I'll be ready for club hopping

Went here for NYE, bought tickets in advance, so the queue wasn't an issue.. security was a little bit aggressive as if they hate their job or their customers. Cloakroom was a joke every member of staff sent us to the wrong place and the queue was massive but prices were fair. Drink prices were also decent for the event. The DJ should be fired though, worst music selection, played the same songs on loop every 20mins it actually drove us crazy but besides that it was an okay night.

Came here on a hen do. Used to work at the Bolton one so managed to tempt friends into the Liverpool one. It's quite a bit venue with 3 floors of music. They have a free ball pit on floor 3 which is fun

Very nice place. One of the best nightclubs in Liverpool hands down. The first floor is the most comfortable one. The two upstairs are very crowded if you want that. The only and serious issue I found during our stay was the fact that the payment for leaving your stuff in the cloakroom was cash only which is kinda annoying and stupid to be honest 🤷

Absolutely unbelievable. I rarely write reviews, let alone good reviews. But this place is outstanding. Perfect service and nice atmosphere, not at all pretentious and extremely inviting. The food is next level. Beef shin ragu is a dream and the lasagne bites restored my faith in humanity. The polenta fries gave me hope of a better future. Nice staff, great drinks and also very well priced. Couldn't recommend this place any more. Sincerely, your reliable neighbourhood foodie.

Our friends have been talking about the vegan Cacio e Pepe Butter Beans for years and we eventually got to try them and they did not disappoint! All the food we had was spot on and very vegan friendly. Will definitely be back.

Excellent restaurant hidden off the main street but well worth finding. The inside is well set out and tastefully done, with a small restaurant area as you walk in next to a quick service bar eating area, and a larger restaurant through the other side beyond the kitchen. The outside is amazing and would be fab in the warmer months but with a few heaters and large canopies it would be great all year round. We sat in the bar area and had delicious pizza and drinks. The staff were very friendly and efficient, the food was excellent and very reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was amazing. Definitely worth eating here.

We held our wedding reception at Buyers in September and it was perfect! Ella, Mel and the team were amazing and helped us plan every detail from welcome drinks to speeches outside and a beautiful three course meal (some of our guests said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had). We also chose some lovely wine from R&H and paired it with the food in advance of the day. On the day, everything ran smoothly and was meticulously organised, the florist was able to come in and do the arrangements, the food came out piping hot (no mean feat for 50 people) and the DJ could set up without issue. The cocktails and drinks were amazing and our guests had a brilliant time. It felt like the whole Buyers team were our pals who were part of the wedding (and put up with us even when we stayed dancing until closing). Came by for a late lunch on a recommendation. You MUST order the Cacio e Pepe butter beans. (But share as a starter as massive!) had a pizza which was really good. Excellent service from Nicole overall particularly when she let me know service was already in optimal on the receipt when I said to add a tenner.

Wonderful dinner spot to go to if visiting Liverpool or looking for a good date spot. The pasta and pizza were delicious! The staff were friendly and tentative as well.

Would NOT recommend. We got the beef shin and nduja pasta. The beef shin pasta was tiny (a lot smaller than the ndjua pasta), the pasta itself was too thick and the sauce was average at best. Really disappointing for £18 and the most expensive pasta. The nduja pasta had a crumb on top which had an over powering liquorice taste. The pasta was very unpleasant. Overall way too overpriced for very below average food. I feel royally mugged off. I was genuinely really looking forward to the meal. Will not recommend to anyone.

I've only been here before on sunny days and sat outside on the balcony with a pint. It's a nice place to spend an afternoon with a nice view of the Albert Dock. It does get busy though when the weather's good so you need to get there early if you want a table. Today it was cold so I sat inside for the first time. It's huge inside with two floors and plenty of benches. Service was quick and efficient and a good selection of beers. I must come back one day and try out the German food.

Fantastic place, football on screens and also live music. Large group of us and this place was perfect to meet up and plan the night ahead whilst enjoying beers and jägers 🤦‍♂️ Great atmosphere and well worth visiting if you’re in Liverpool.

Great place to go for a drink in the sunshine, its lovely sitting outside there watching the world go by. Its even better if you like bar games as there are loads of them. And if you want to watch sport on the TV then it just gets better for you as there are TV everywhere 😉 😀 👍

Visited on a Sunday and just stayed for one drink but it’s a cool place. No atmosphere but this was due to the day/time we visited I expect. The bar itself is big, but then we found the cavernous sports bar area and the German beer hall at the rear. Both were completely empty but I’m sure it would be buzzing when full. Beer was cold and available in pints or plastic steins. Nice outside seating area. Two steins were twenty five quid though which was quite a lot, but there was a lot of beer!

Our party was in for a stag do, wanted to say thanks to everyone we had a great time and thanks for letting us sing our hearts out! Sarah our waitress was on the ball all night, thanks for the great service!

Fantastic venue and fantastic bartenders! We received great service from a lovely Irish bartender called Sarah. Made our night fantastic ! Will definitely be back. Food could be a bit better tho.

The location is great and the view over the Royal Albert docks is also incredible but the overall experience was a little strange. It is possible that this is simply the restaurant’s policy, but given how much is self service, it is hard for people with small children or reduced mobility to get what they need quickly. The food and portions are good but would recommend that the management also implements something slightly more family friendly so that it is open to all.

Started our trip to Liverpool for my 40th birthday celebrations and this place was an absolute blast and a great ice breaker for those meeting for the 1st time. The free drink was a bonus too 🍻👍 just a shame it took the barman more than 10 minutes to make each drink but all in all an awesome time. Great staff. Great atmosphere and great music.

TL;DR Fair pricing, venue too hot, well designed course, too many people on the course at once, a fun experience, well worth a visit. Review: Prices are about what you'd expect for such a venue. Not overpriced which is always a bonus. What I really liked about 'Golf Fang' was the design of the course, and the whole venue itself reslly. A lot of effort has clearly gone into it and it looks really good. The biggest negative point of our visit was that there is zero air circulation. So although it was only 18° outside, inside was very hot. No A/C, no fans, and of course no windows that could be opened. I would say this would be something that the venue could work to improve and would make a large positive difference to the overall experience. It was very busy (although it was a Saturday afternoon) and although we arrived for our booking on time, there was a wait to enter the course. It seemed like people were allowed onto the course in order of arrival, even if that means a 'walk-in' booking arrived ahead of you (but at the same time) they'd be on the course first, which kind of makes pre-booking unnecessary. A knock-on effect of how busy it was meant we were waiting a while for drinks both at the bar and when ordering from the order points scattered around the course itself. I also feel that too many people were let onto the course at any one time, and the reason I say this is because when people are queing to play the next hole, they were stood on the hole prior (a.k.a the hole you're trying to play on) so this slows everything down and perhaps could be managed better going forward. All in all I would recommend a visit and it was a fun way to pass a couple of hours.

Came here yesterday with my partner, staff were so lovely and attentive especially the lad who wore a cap and had a pony tail (didn’t catch his name) he was great with us! Definitely recommend!!

We chose this place mainly because of its very high ratings and the large number of reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food. We ordered the soup of the day and the Sunday Roast (Beef). The soup was OK, but it lacked any distinct flavor. The main dish, however, was rather disappointing — the broccoli was overcooked. The potatoes, parsley, and carrots were fine. Unfortunately, the meat was very tough and sinewy. Even the gravy couldn’t save the dish. To make matters worse, the staff forgot to bring the gravy and the cutlery, and we had to ask for them. On the bright side, the atmosphere of this place is wonderful, and I do recommend visiting it for that reason.

Stop here as part of a sight seeing tour, good selection of beer, and cozy enjoyable atmospheric. Interesting building and, home to a grade 1 listed toilet. I didn't eat only stay for 2 drinks and my partner had a half. So cannot comment on food!

Beautiful building and lovely interiors. As of August 2025 it will be undergoing some refurbishment. We enjoyed the meal and pleasant staff. And the gents toilets have interesting architecture and design.

We came for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed! Extra gravy and Yorkshire puddings not a problem. The pub is worth a visit as the interior is sumptuous.

This old pub simply oozes with atmosphere, with its little rooms furnished with old leather sofas and massive tables. A great place to spend some time in on your way down Hope Street from one cathedral to the other, offering delicious looking pub food and a big choice of drinks - including alcohol free cider!

I can't comment on the food or service as I only popped in to have a look at it's wonderful rooms. It was far to busy to get a table so proving to be very popular. I would have liked to take more photos but didn't want to intrude on anyone's space.

It was my first time visiting the Alchemist, I was blown away the cocktails are absolutely mesmerising and outstanding! Its expensive but totally worth it the atmosphere was great, music was great, the staff are lovely and friendly, also want to give a special mention to Ben he was our server and he was so nice and even made me a few drinks off the hand after mentioning colours types of alcohol i like extra, hes a top bloke i hope someone lets him see this please we promised to leave him a review, hes really good at his job and makes amazing cocktails, I will definitely be returning for sure! Highly recommend even just to experience it.

Such an incredible place with the most amazing staff. Ben made us such unique drinks based on a few questions and they were divine. Would definitely recommend. Had such a lovely evening.

I recently had a fantastic meal that really hit the spot! The food was exceptional, with everything from the spicy chicken to the truffle gravy standing out for their flavour and presentation. Our server was incredibly friendly and made sure we felt looked after throughout our visit. The atmosphere was nice, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy good company, though the drinks could use a little improvement. Overall, I left feeling satisfied and can't wait to come back for more!

Great time at boundless brunch for my nieces 30th birthday! Kaylee was exceptional and kept the drinks flowing! Great staff, lovely place great drinks!

Popped in for a quick dinner and the atmosphere and food was great. We had lollipop prawns and squid to start which were both perfectly cooked and then tempura fish and the chicken basket for mains. Everything was great and very good value for money. Out waitress Kate was also perfectly attentive and friendly. Will definitely pop back next time I am in the area.

Fantastic bar staff and a real buzz.

Very cool bar with excellent food and service. The staff are top notch. There is a great upstairs cocktail lounge and outside area for drinking. It's one of the better bars in Liverpool.

Only went for drinks with friends and the dog, but the bar staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. Brought out a dog bowl full of water, and surprised us all with a free hotdog for Alan (our corgi), which he scoffed down at speed! Definitely will be coming back for more good drinks, great atmosphere, and fantastic hospitality!

Review is for nighttime drinking and party time, not the food. Banging atmosphere, DJ knew how to ramp it up and slow it down (for bar and bog trips) just right. Being Halloween weekend obviously was more made than usual, but a fun, safe, night with the music booming was what the doctor ordered. 5th star saved for if ever I do order food and will update!

We did the cocktail making experience for a birthday celebration, which was brilliant. The staff were amazing, taking their time to show us how to make our favourite cocktails. I would definitely recommend!

Came here for the hotdogs was very quite but the bartender was supper chatty and created a great atmosphere for the 2 of us. We have a few chilled drinks. I know slims can be a good night. But even better a great place for pre gig and pre dinner. The staff our very knowledge and friendly. The place to go xx

Fantastic atmosphere, delicious drinks and super quick service even on a saturday night!

Attended yesterday (22nd May) and had the pepperoni pizza and have now been up all night with food poisoning. Tasted not 100% at the time but due to the good reviews thought nothing of it (until now of course). Ate nothing else all day so was DEFINITELY the pizza. Not happy and want a refund- as a doctor myself cleanliness needs to be looked at.

Great location in the heart of the city just a short walk from Bold Street. Nice ambiance with high ceilings and lots of beams and hanging plants. Tables outside to the front and a good sized beer garden to the rear. Nice music mix playing at just the right volume for the afternoon.

Great place, amazing atmosphere inside, perfect beer garden. The staff was very nice and helpful. Without unnecessary discussions, they will explain with a smile what and how, and in case of problems, they will find a way to solve it. I will definitely be back soon!

It's a nice venue with a good atmosphere and plenty of space. Only issue and it was a big one, was the price of a 'glass' of prosecco. £6 for 125 ml. So if you wanted a full glass, you'd be spending £12. Made absolutely no sense whatsoever and to make it more annoying was just how nonplussed the barmaid was when we felt the need to double-check that we were hearing her correctly. I think even an ounce of empathy would have lessened the disappointment. See photo for reference

Bar staff are really friendly and there is a great atmosphere here with a cornucopia of music memorabilia for you to look at. They even have a Beatles jukebox 😎 If I could make one suggestion it would be to have more guest ales on tap 😉

Live music , great atmosphere! We visited Saturday afternoon it wasnt too busy but still had a great feel. Prices were reasonable and I would happily highly recommend. Lots of great memorabilia to see.

Great pub with live music daily. We went on a Thursday and there was a 2 man band playing classics. Beer and ciders where good as always.

Relaxing and room to sit and enjoy. Enjoyed the live music and it wasn't too loud. We could still hear each other talk. Some brick from original Cavern Club. Music memorabilia on walls. No cover charge.

Me and my wife fell into this place while over from Leeds when the brilliant Paul Kappa Band were on maybe 16 months ago. Absolutely blown away by the performance and quality of entertainment. We went back last Saturday with our 22 yr old son and his girlfriend worried it wasn’t gonna be as good. Every bit as good as last. Wish the Cavern Pub was in West Yorks. ☹️. We’ll be back. A+ thank you.

Probably the most famous club in the world. Bands doing short sets then change to another band. Plenty of memorabilia to look at around the walls and obviously plenty of Beatles covers by all bands. Decent selection of drinks and plenty of staff serving. But, the bar is CASHLESS. Also, a very varied age range of clientele, ranging from 20 to 70. Nice.

A must go place if you visit Liverpool. Fab experience and superb atmosphere. The pub is small and compact with low ceilings, but that’s exactly what you look. Wide variety of drinks including alcohol free beer. Price is similar to other pubs, surprisingly reasonable. It got a souvenir shop as well selling techies, cups and other Cavern Club accessories. An awesome cultural experience and the best pub we ever visited.

Stopped in at The Cavern Club after our Beatles tour while in Liverpool. The vibe was chill, with a musician performing, and you’re free to wander around at your own pace. Entry was £5, and I was surprised by how big it was underground, with tunnels leading into different rooms and bars. The memorabilia (though I wish there was more) added to the fun, nostalgic atmosphere. Overall, it’s a must for any Beatles fan, and I’m glad to have The Cavern Club under my belt as an important part of Beatles history. Saluti

Where The Beatles started out. We managed to get tickets for Saturday night performance by The Cavern Club Beatles. Support act was a solo keyboard player who was excellent and got the crowd warmed up. Then the band came on at 9.15 and wow, they were amazing, sounded just like the real thing! They did 4 sets with costume changes each time. 'John' was Uncannily like Lennon in looks and mannerisms. Fabulous night. Tip - lf you want a seat in front of stage queue at 7pm at the back entrance!!!!

No trip to Liverpool is complete without a visit to the cavern club. We went in the evening and entry was £5 per person. There are several flights of stairs to get in and the walls are covered in photos of people who have played there. The atmosphere was amazing. There is a lot of memorabilia from guitars, photos, toys etc. There is always live music which was very good and everyone singing along. There are a few tables and chairs but it was standing room only when we visited. A very reasonable entry fee for a fantastic evening.

Expect stairs down to the venue and limited space once it’s busy, so arrive early if you want a seat or clear sightlines. Tribute nights and peak-hour sessions often sell out—checking the schedule and booking ahead pays off. Bring ID, travel light, and wear comfortable shoes; it gets warm when the room fills. If the queue is long, the Cavern Pub across the street runs live music with easier access, and the merch shop on Mathew Street is worth a quick look. For a music lover, it’s the right mix of heritage and energy: polished enough to run like clockwork, raw enough to feel authentic. A must on any Liverpool itinerary.

I was not really bothered about going to the Cavern Club. But i really enjoyed it .There were a couple of groups playing while we were there an we thoroughly enjoyed them . It was really interesting walking around looking at the memorabilia. The only down side was the cost of the drinks which you can understand, but the £10 entrance fee was a bit steep. I would definitely recommend visiting The Cavern Club. If visiting Liverpool.

First time going to Alcotraz and I can honestly say I had the best time with my friends. We all loved the experience. The actors were amazing and never dropped their characters once! Cocktails were very nice, we were asked what flavours in particular we liked and cocktails were made based off our preferred tastes. 100% recommend! Belly laughing the whole time!

Had been wanting to do this Alcotraz experience for so long! Took my friend for her bday and we honestly had such a ball!! Was a laugh start to finish and the actors really make you feel a part of the action. 10/10 - just wish I could do it all again as a first timer. Amazing for a hen, bday or something a bit different for date night. Loved it!

I bought this for a gift for my mum and dad and they have said it was an amazing experience with an amazing atmosphere. It was hilarious seeing the photos of them in jumpsuits too! the icing on the cake 😂 They were asked their preferences for cocktails and each of their drinks were tailored to their likes. They 100% recommend this experience. I kinda wanna go now . . .

Went into the yard 1st for afew drinks, wasn’t busy but still had a great time. The staff were great at the yard and when we went into the cell block. Great from the start as we entered, the actors were very good with everyone and getting us to join in. The cocktails were also very nice for not knowing what you were getting even made sure my partner got cocktails made with surar free syrup for his diabetes. Highly recommended Thanks to everyone for making it a great night

We were there as part of a hen party. The show was great and very funny. The interactions of the cast with each group was very good and very entertaining to see how quickly they reacted with improvisation. The drinks were made very well and as one of our group had allergies they were very careful with making sure everyone was catered for safely while still making very good cocktails.

Alcotraz was a great experience — loads of fun and perfect for a hen or stag do. The actors were brilliant and really brought the theme to life. We had a good laugh and the whole setup made for a memorable night. A couple of small things could make it even better. It would have been helpful to get clearer guidance beforehand on how much alcohol to bring — we ended up with cocktails that were very strong. I didn’t love the drinks personally, but my friends all really enjoyed them. I’d also say it feels quite expensive, especially considering you have to bring your own alcohol. The bar staff felt a bit disconnected from the immersive experience — it would’ve been more fun if they joined in rather than seeming a bit grumpy when we tried to banter in theme. We also spent time filling out forms with pictures online ahead of the event, only to handwrite similar ones once we got there. It wasn’t clear what they were for — if we’d known they’d be used during the experience, we’d have put more into them. Overall, a brilliant night and a really unique concept. With a few tweaks, it could be even better.

Great fun. Drinks were lovely though I didn’t manage the last one. Staff were funny and ad libed well. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Great place to chill with friends and nice for a first date. Very warm indoors especially in the blazing winter’s cold. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Drinks and games aren’t over the top in prices, very affordable. £10 per game ain’t bad and a pint of soda for £4 so I can’t complain. Will definitely be back.

Booked for a large group of young people and the staff could not have been more accommodating and lovely. We’ve been here once before as a group and honestly have had a fantastic time both times. We will definitely be back!

went here for my 18th birthday for a game. this was really fun but i feel like that was because of the people i was with not necessarily the place. it was £12 per person and the woman who served us and set us up was very nonchalant looked cool tho and id rather bowl here then a normal oneeee

Had an amazing time last night at Lane7! It was my first time visiting there and all the different games were so much fun!! The drinks were delicious and the bartenders Chloe and Ellie made the experience so much more enjoyable, thank you guys! 💜

Me and my girlfriend visited today and had a lovely experience. From the moment we walked in we were greeted us with warm smiles and that made us feel right at home. The service was impeccable our server Taliah was so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed, from drinks to gaming she was honestly amazing.Would 100% recommend good prices and good drinks too.

What a gaff. Drenched myself in hooch and enjoyed some fantastic service from Taliah and David. Completely sorted us out for the night and David even taught me how to bowl. I’m averaging 250 now. Thanks David.

Went to Lane7 Liverpool and honestly… what a VIBE. The place is insane — neon lights, great music, chill but buzzing atmosphere. It feels like you’ve walked straight into the best night out. Bowling, beer pong, retro arcades, pool, electronic darts — you’ll never be bored for a second. But hands down, the absolute highlight of the night was Chloe. She’s a total legend. From the moment we got there, she was super friendly, explained everything clearly, recommended the perfect alcoholic slushie (bless her), and just made us feel completely at home. Even with the place packed, Chloe was calm, helpful, and always smiling. She checked in on us, cracked jokes, and celebrated our random little wins like they were championship moments. The energy she brings? Immaculate. Honestly, the place is already amazing, but Chloe made the experience 10x better. She’s the kind of person you want at every venue — warm, fun, and totally on it. Bottom line: go to Lane7, play everything, drink everything, and PRAY you get Chloe. She’s a queen. I’m already planning my next visit.

Was great fun and a brilliant place to spend some time with friends. Only downside was we waited a very long time for someone to come to the front desk even though we showed up 15 minutes before as advised on the booking. Other than that though a really good time was had by everyone.

It's a normal place with a pleasant atmosphere. But the prices for food and drinks are very high. I do not recommend cocktails, they are similar to water, they are very expensive. Probably, you can only drink beer. But if your student ID is not ready yet, then I advise you not to go to this place. It's too expensive without a student ID. With a student discount, prices are the same as everywhere else.

Bowling was fun. Pool was a bit expensive at 19 pounds for an hour. Overall good experience.

Lovely place with great atmosphere, here we played bowling had live music, live sports and great food. The price is great compared to other places as well. I would recommend this place to anyone from stag/hen dos to family days out

Arrived around 14:45. Ordered food which it was only fries and scampi at 14:55. It was quiet at the time and thought it would get here shortly as there wasn’t many people there. Got to an hour later and there was people who was here after us 30 minutes later and got there food first. Staff was brilliant to get it sorted but the organisation of getting first orders done first needs to be better.

We had an amazing time here! The place is huge, plenty of tables and or space at the bar so enjoy your drinks and food either before or after some games. We booked two lanes and went with some friends from work, great bonding activity compared to the boring meals somewhere else. They also have a pool table. Food was good as well, and so were the cocktails – which are £5 each at the moment, if you go during happy hour.

Stumbled across Botanical Garden whilst exploring the Baltic Triangle. Amazing reception! Sam on the bar was lively, friendly and made divine cocktails. A quirky vibe with cool music! Would highly recommend. A great selection of board games too! (Replenished by the owner, Laura). Wish I hadn’t made a picnic because then I’d have been able to eat here! Always next time!

Hidden Gem that has a great atmosphere and fun, friendly bartenders that put a smile on everyone’s face. I visited in the day and found the vibe to be very relaxed and would recommend to anyone wanting a day drink.

Wow!! What an amazing time we had here for my son’s 30th birthday celebration! Laura and Livia were amazing, Laura was so helpful with my questions and Livia organising the food. On the day meeting gorgeous Sam (L19 massive !) Katie and the fantastic food she made (yes I ordered too much! it was worth it!) and meeting Laura who was so welcoming it felt like we were family. The indoor space was perfect, everyone said what a lovely vibe the whole place has. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, the food, the drinks, the place and most of all the people they make it so special! ❤️

Very cool place to hang out on a nice day and listen to some music. Only one kind of beer served and that’s in a can and very limited wine selection. Yes I know it’s for gin lovers but a group of five will always want a mix of drinks. It wouldn’t be too much trouble for them to put a few more beers in the coolers and give the customers a better range to choose from. I paid £19 for two small cans of cider not served with glasses or ice , a small can of beer and a red wine . Again yes it’s fun and trendy and if that’s your thing you’ll love paying over the odds for drinks and relaxing here .

The whisky collection here is impressive, and the craftsmanship behind the cocktails is evident. I strongly suggest whiskysour and sidecar here. They are good. I also tried the Penicillin cocktail, and while the execution was great, the taste didn’t quite hit the notes I was hoping for. Still, the quality of ingredients and presentation were top-notch. A solid spot for whisky lovers! One of the bartender is like an sommelier. I would suggest here for solo or having guests.

Recommended Manolo by other bars but it really missed the mark. From the start the bartender at the door seemed put off by us coming in and we were sat awkwardly at the bar despite free tables nearby. No warmth from the staff, just going through the motions, and details like napkins instead of coasters felt cheap. Cocktails were actually pretty good, which is the only reason for two stars, but the vibe was pretentious and unwelcoming.

Finally I’ve been able to come over and try some cocktails with friend. Got really great time there! Place has very nice atmosphere and service is excellent!! Probably best bar I’ve visited in Liverpool so far. Classic cocktails are just amazing also drink menu is very interesting. Bartender was just a great guy with very good manners and brilliant sense of hospitality. Definitely will come back there! Very recommend!

Manolo was an unexpected treat. The bar itself is lovely in an old fashioned "gentleman's club" sort of way. The cocktails are outstanding - innovative and delicious. You absolutely should try the Miami Vice. Yes, I know. But it's amazing. Ollie and Jason took such great care of us - it's on our list for a return visit for sure!

We visited a couple of months ago. The drinks & service were amazing & a great live singer. We will definitely go back next time we are in Liverpool!

While on a date night with the Mrs, we went in search of some nostalgia of university days (10 years+ since being in L1 for a night out). Headed directly to Santa Chupitos only to find it had been replaced with Manolo. As I said, it's been a while. Slightly disappointed but not deterred, we went in..... The disappointment did not last. It's the bar we didn't know we needed to visit! A speakeasy style cocktail bar with table service and snacks. As cocktails go, these are some of the best we've had. Expect to pay a little more but for the craftsmanship, atmosphere and attentive table service, it's more than worth it. In addition, they had live music. Night=Made. I can highly recommend their Margarita and Old Fashioned (hands down the best OF I've ever had). Can't wait to get back to this place.

Amazing find and the cocktails were inspired. Service was hands down the best service I've ever received in a bar. I ordered a drink that I didn't get on with and they were kind enough to swap it for another one. Would definitely return when back in Liverpool.

The Royal Albert Docks are a great spot to shop and enjoy the delicious foods Liverpool has to offer. No tickets are necessary unless you want to enter the beatles story experience, which is highly recommended. While.we were there there was always plenty of activity including crew teams practicing in the quay.

Historical landmark and one of the highlights of Liverpool. Perfect place for a morning, afternoon or evening stroll, catch up with friends for a cup of coffee or a drink. Albert Dock has some lovely places to eat with outdoor seating for any weather. Must visit when in Liverpool.

Went in October, cold and very windy both sides of the dock . Mostly places to eat and a few souvenir shops pretty over priced . A sweet shop with a great jellybean pic of the Beatles in the window but again very overpriced. We had coffee & cake in the museum, which was free( not the coffee & cake ) which was the best bit for us lots of history … parking in the docks is £3 an hour which is quite steep . Overall worth a visit .

Always love visiting this place. Day trip with my family and parents. I completely forgot museums are closed on a Monday! Still, there was lots to see and do 😀

These are the largest, oldest buildings. There is The Beatles museum, Travel lodge, as well as independent shops, and cafes. Very busy place, lovely views over the docks.

Very picturesque and lots of lovely looking restaurants although we didn't sample them. Nice just for a wander round, would love to return and explore further. My first time in Liverpool so it was a must see!

Great area... especially with the Beatles statue. An accoustic musician was performing Beatles tunes next to it, which set the tone. We started there on our Liverpool adventure. It was a relaxed environment, everyone was friendly and we felt safe the entire time. Being right on the water, it was great bird and people watching and we even snagged an ice cream from a street vendor while having a bit of a rest in the sun. Lovely experience and fantastic location!

We came in the evening on a Sunday and the bar was very quiet, we had run in out of the rain, but were glad to have done so. There was a great range of interesting cocktails on the menu, but at that particular time there were no fraught beers available at all. We were offered a bottled cider as an alternative which was nice. Once the rain cleared up there were nice seating options outside.

Service was slow as it's always very busy even if you have booked a table. We waited 15 minutes for our first drinks to arrive but seemed to get better after this but the cocktails are delicious and reasonably priced and not lacking in alcohol. Food was very nice but not piping hot when brought out. Atmosphere is very good and music is unique and giving Cuban vibes which we loved.

The place is very attractive, we were so looking forward to eat there. But the reality was very bad! We were waiting around 30 minutes to get the drinks and when the good finally came in, we thought it must ve a joke! A very bad joke! I ordered chicken burger, there was barilely aby meat (more likes a tiny chicken strip), it was dry as hell a thr bun was totally gumy. Terrible experience. We were to stupid to go in just cause it looks stylish.

We had such a great time at the bottomless brunch! The food was great and perfectly timed with the drinks. The vibe was lively but not too loud. Our waiter, Nate, was absolutely fantastic. He was super friendly, attentive, and kept our glasses full the entire time without us ever needing to ask. He really made the experience feel effortless and fun.

We went here on a Sunday night as a couple and had burger with sweet potato fries (an add on) and the sharing nachos this cost £30 great value for money, there was an private event on before and there was some loud music but after a while the music stopped, Jess was our server and was very helpful with our food and any allergy concerns, the decor is much like cosy club if you have ever been, we had a lovely evening!

Bottomless brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Our server was Jess and she was amazing so attentive and our glasses were never empty. The food was nice and hot, really tasty but pretty small portions. Tasty drinks and a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth the money

The best Cuban salsa nights in Liverpool, every Thursday night! Nice music and a beautiful crowd! The Latin band that plays on Saturdays is also amazing! One dining experience I had was not the best. The food was very delayed, but it was a very busy moment and the waiters were doing their best.

Beautiful & Vibrant Outdoor Mall This is one of the best things to have happened in Liverpool after the Albert docks. The rejuvenation of the town centre into an outdoor mall has been extremely successful. This is one of my favorite places in the city now, it has a lot of everything, shops, restaurants, etc. Also the important FC's shops after the stadium ones. Highly recommended to take a stroll and visit L1.

Fantastic shopping destination! 🛍️ Liverpool ONE has a great mix of high-street and designer stores, plenty of restaurants, and a lively atmosphere. Clean, modern, and easy to get around — perfect for a day out in the city.

This city centre is amazing, very vibrant and excellent to visit. Usually very busy weekends. Try to avoid weekends nights to enjoy your time. Also close to the liverpool Docks.

Brilliant place, it has everything. You could spend the day there. We went on the evening to a pub restaurant and it had great views, good ambience.

Liverpool ONE is amazing — a perfect mix of shops, restaurants, and open spaces. The atmosphere is lively but relaxed, and everything is super clean and modern. Whether you’re shopping, eating out, or just strolling around, there’s something for everyone. A must-visit in Liverpool!

Very clean & well kept, did not see any boarded up shops etc. The docks had plenty of areas to eat, drink & people watch. Just a day trip was not long enough.

Perhaps I have somewhat biased expectations these days for shopping centres/malls, but my recent revisit to Liverpool ONE was not bad by any means but felt somewhat lacking. Albeit I did not have the most time to run around and look around again but one good thing is the good variety of stores in and around the main area. If you miss the maps on the walls though you might get a little lost on where’s what do you definitely want to find one and give it a good look over if you’ve never been here. Apart from that, the bridges connecting the floors can be rather noisy, their loose feeling metal flooring are some sort of hot spot for some who wish to stomp across or jump on them, given the way the area is they can be rather loud, not just annoying but potentially triggering to anyone particularly sensitive to loud noises. Of course I can’t comment on that too much, but I feel that it’s worth pointing out. In conclusion, it’s a nice place for the first few visits, the surrounding area is much more wonderful to me though. I must have not gotten the chance to explore the area much or simply forgotten. But it’s definitely worth stopping by if you’re visiting Liverpool.

My friend booked for us both to attend today as she has previously been, we may of well had been invisible today had to ask after approximately 15 minutes of being there for our first drink, which became reoccurring throughout the 90 minutes a total of 4 drinks, around us the drinks were flowing for all when I had to ask again and the server came over her attitude brought an atmosphere I understand everyone works hard in there but we are all paying customers! Plus points great music and atmosphere and hot food! Ps the the aperol spritz was spot on !!

We had a booking for 1930. Despite, arriving on time, checking in, it took until 20:00 to be seated. This is the second time I have visited and have been late to be seated. Once seated late, it took a further 10 minutes for us to have someone attend to us and take our drinks order. The attendant was informed that 2 out of the 5 of us were for alcohol free bottomless dining. The drinks service was not great, and we had to constantly attract attention to order drinks. Food arrived and was good. Onto the bill, upon receiving the outstanding bill, despite being advised that 2 people were for alcohol free bottomless dining, all drinks had been put through and charged as alcohol. I questioned this with the attendant at the till who's attitude was shocking and was telling me all drinks were alcohol and she could kot change it. I told her to go and get the guy who had been taking our orders as I wasn't paying the bill without it being changed as it was incorrect. The guy eventually came and clarified that we had had 2 alcohol free. I was also appalled that a service charge had been added automatically and had this removed. Not the best experience, awful customer service, good food.

Lovely place for bottomless brunch. Service was great, Alfie was really attentive. Maybe more variety on the cocktails for brunch available but thats the only feedback!

This unique catering establishment is known for its “bottomless” dining sessions, where diners have a limited set of drinks they can re-order for a set period of time. The food menu is quite limited too but the club vibe is good with loud music and the occasional introduction of a live saxophone player playing on top of the partitions between booths. So the experience overall is good and I would go there again. The mini burgers were great, but the flat iron seared beef strips were chewy. The crew serving us were nice too, but unless you’re into prosecco, it’s not great value

Amazing time while being here. Our service was Alfie brown hair he was so lovely made sure we were okay and had all drinks we needed he needs promoting!!! Would come back purely because of the amazing service would recommend.

Had a lovely server called Summer she was really great serving, very friendly and helpful throughout the evening , constantly checking on drinks and making sure everything was good. Shame the tips have to get split because we didn’t have cash!! Food was good and drinks were flowing, you weren’t left empty.

Visited on a quiet Tuesday but quickly served at the bar. Order a little food that came quickly and tasted good. Not much atmosphere as it was very quiet but friendly staff & lovely food

Cocktails are disappointing. They are ok for happy hour but the regular price is way too high for what you get. Employees have a weird attitude when you want to order a higher amount of cocktails (>10).

Great selection of beers, including non/low alcohol ones. We went for lunch so ordered the burgers, fish and a veggie dish. The food tasted really good and the portion sizes were quite generous. And fantastic value for money.

We were looking gif the place with English cuisine and it was the best rated on the area. Atmosphere and interior are really interesting and busy that means it’s a really popover place. Started were amazing and tasty, but burgers were not great even we were starving. You have to order the food at the counter that was strange for us.

I had a great time here. The server Chloe was exceptionally attentive to me and my family. Making sure we got a booth for my disabled mum she went above and beyond can't thank her enough. Food was alright like but the service WOW.

Always love it here. You can see the kitchen is spotless and no matter how busy the food is top notch. Staff are lovely too and always ready to have a conversation, just met Matt today. Would recommend.

What an amazing experience. My son had a teacher training day, so we decided to visit Quirky Quarter and it did not disappoint. This place is a must-see attraction for anyone. It’s exactly what the name suggests, very quirky and full of surprises. I won’t give anything away as it would spoil the fun, but if you’re at a loose end for something to do or just want to feel like a kid again and get some brilliant photos, this is the place to be. We had such a great time. The staff were amazing, and we both left with huge smiles on our faces and a great memory to share. I’ll definitely be back with my other son soon. Thanks for such a brilliant experience.

Went here with my husband on a sunday. We had an absolute ball, so many different activities to do, everything is so creative!!! Staff were all wonderful, polite and really helpful to get the best pictures and experience each activity. Plenty of time to go through at your own pace. I have uploaded a few of the pictures, we came out with 42 plus videos there was that much to do🤣 Would definitely return!

Worth the visit lots to look at and do! It’s very interactive for just over the hour. It’s full of illusions and quirky interesting would recommend it! Staff are very approachable and helpful too, It’s great for everyone Families, friends or couples of all ages when we went.

We came to Liverpool to HM passport office. So we had 3 hours free. So my sister booked this event which I had no idea about. We came in here and spent as much time and 2 hours flew inside. The staff was so friendly took our jackets, helped us with puzzles, took our photos of groups. The friendly staff made it more enjoyable. If it wasn't for the staff we would have not have known some of the illusions. A 2 min walk from car park £5 for 2 hours. A big thank you to the Quirky Quarter team Highly Recommended 10/10.

This is a fun and interactive museum. They have lots of interesting exhibits that challenge your mind and help you see things through new perspectives. We would highly recommend it for visitors with curiosity and who enjoy optical illusions.

Visited this place on 4 July and really enjoyed it. There is so much to see and do but to get the most out of it, you really need to engage with each 'stand'. Once you do this, it becomes far more interesting. We spent 90 minutes, laughed a lot and were intrigued by loads of the 'stands'. The staff were on hand to help out and were really enthusiastic, to take advantage of them to get the most out of this place. Don't rush it, take your time and have a blast.

Really cool space. Has some good music blasting out across the place which gives a good atmosphere. Has a nice outdoor area and a big indoor area. It’s all very rustic which works generally although the toilets were a bit shabby. There’s a decent bar and then various food vendors within this area. You can order from all the vendors off the one site so scan the qr code at your table and then select what you want and get it delivered to the table. We literally ordered 4 different things from 4 different places and everything came quick.

The idea of QR codes on the tables, where there is menu for all locals all around the market is brilliant. We sat, scanned code and could see each single menu for food and drinks without walking all around the place. Food was very good, although we only tried one place. Plenty of space, but I guess it can get tight in rush hours. Totally recommend, even for a dessert or to grab a drink!

This one is not to be missed!! What an awesome place, I've been too a few places like it but this is by far the best. Make it a place to stop when visiting Liverpool! Great choice of places to get drinks from slushies, to cocktails and the poor your own Guinness machine, and a selection for everyone. There is seating inside and out and a DJ playing at certain times. This is a social club you don't wanna miss. The food choices are even better and my eyes were popping out my head with every order that came past, but best of all was the Nashville chicken sandwich from Nashville Cluck, probably the best chicken sandwich I've had in the UK, thick and juicy with a crispy exterior, the sauce was awesome and if you like heat order the hot one 🤯🤤. We will definitely be back when visiting Liverpool!!

I took my daughter here on her sixteenth birthday for an afternoon film screening and drinks. I have to say Maria and the staff were exceptional. The level of service, care and professionalism were second to none. We didn't eat here, but the food looked fantastic from a distance. Popped in on a weekday morning as I’d heard there was a display of photos of Pete Burns. I really liked the interior & the general vibe. The decor is full of Scouse icons from the 60s onwards & this would be an interesting spot for a drink if you’re just visiting the city. Coffee was good & the staff helpful & friendly (I saw other customers greeted by name while I was there). There’s a small room at the back available for private hire which would be great for 10-20 people

I visited with my daughter, I don't usually drink cocktails so was a bit at a loss as to what to choose but thankfully the wonderful GM asked us about things we liked and didn't like and made us the most amazing drinks, I am now a convert to cocktails and will visit when I'm back in Liverpool.

Tabac Cafe, a Liverpool institute. I stopped for coffee and a toasted bacon butty. Friendly staff. I was told there was a wait for food as they were very busy, but my bacon butty arrived quickly. Plenty of freshly grilled bacon. Great atmosphere. Good value too. Worth stopping by if in Bold Street.

13 years since i’ve been back to Cafe Tabac and I can honestly say the service is still as wonderful as it was then. Dani was lovely, chatty and attentive. I was so impressed how she held the floor with such grace when it was busy, she was calm and professional. It was so lovely to come back and enjoy the atmosphere… I look forward to many more visits in the near future. Love Cafe Tabac.

Breakfast: The food is delicious here. I had a full English (£10.95) cooked to perfection. The staff are very nice. I’m happy I came. Nice music. Recommend. Service can be a little slow. You know how service oriented we Americans are.!

Visited this morning for breakfast. We were sat and our order was taken promptly. Waited 20min for our tea and water to arrive. We waited another 20min for our food which never showed. We decided to leave when the table next to us, who arrived at least 20min after us, received their food. We were never advised of a wait on food, and delays were not acknowledged until I went to the till and asked for our order to be cancelled. We had previously come on another weekend trip in 2022 which is why we called today.

Came with my brother on a Wednesday evening for the wings! Great service from Ben, Sam and Bradd! Sam welcomed us, explained the steps of Wing Wednesday and away we went! Excellent service through out! Advice when asked about the beers and smooth service throughout! Chilled atmosphere, nothing mental, comfortable for all! Will be back 100%

Brilliant bar featuring a wide range of BrewDog and guest drinks. Including and not limited to Lager, IPA, Sour beers, Fruit beers, Ales, Stout, Vodka, Gin, soft drinks. A huge variety of draught taps means there's always something new to try. They also feature events such as Oktoberfest and collabfest which gives a brilliant opportunity to try even more. The staff are super friendly, notably Brad, Luke, Ben, Lou who are always on hand to help with whatever questions you have. The food is nice and especially cheap on Wednesdays when they offer an unlimited wings Wednesdays (must be booked online). Very child and family friendly and they offer kids meals with colouring books and board games to play whilst here. Overall a fantastic bar and I'd definitely recommend a visit!

A really great place in Liverpool! The beer selection is excellent, and the quality is top-notch. I especially enjoyed the burgers – probably the best I’ve had in Liverpool so far. The bartender deserves a special mention: very kind, attentive, and helpful. He was happy to recommend and explain things, and even when our order took a bit longer than expected, he offered us a beer on the house as a kind gesture. That really made a difference. Another nice bonus is that you can get a free beer by signing up for the membership, which adds extra value. The only area for improvement is the toilets – they could be cleaned and maintained more thoroughly. Overall, fantastic experience, great food and drinks, and excellent service. I will definitely be coming back!

This place has an amazing atmosphere. It was my older Brother's birthday not long ago. He and his partner, My Sister, my Mother, and I, met up here after I finished work to close off their night. This place was perfect and vibey, with amazing staff. Such beautiful people! Plus their IPA offerings are pretty solid 👌 and it is a dog-friendly establishment.

Really unusual, great place to go for a pint. The doors are still on the cells. I really liked the plaque inside, covering the history and Guinness deliveries... lovely ales on tap at decent prices too and friendly service.

Unique setting, wonderfully welcoming staff, fabulous drinks which were brought to our 'cell' while we spent a few hours watching the Aintree racing on the cell TV. Would go back in a heartbeat and definitely on our itinerary when we are next in Liverpool.

Great little bar that used to be a Police Station, handily located just off Hanover Street and beside the gates at Paradise Street. Well worth a visit just for the quirkiness of drinking in a converted cell, all of which have TVs in them. We were lucky enough to be there to watch the Lionesses win the Euros! Such a great atmosphere and the drinks are reasonably priced too!

The Bridewell is a grade ll listed former police Bridewell dating back to the 1850s. It has been nicely converted into a pub there is a good choice of beers, lager and cider, including five hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales. The ones I sampled were in excellent condition. There is a nice bar and plenty of seating in the former cells where the drunks used to be locked up and an outside seating area in the yard. The pub is regularly featured in the camra good beer guide and a visit is highly recommended.

Visited Duke Street Food & Drink Market while in Liverpool. The atmosphere had that classic food hall vibe — chill, lively, and full of subtle energy. Service was relaxed and easygoing. I tried the naked chicken katsu bowl from Ginger — it was spot-on, perfectly balanced and flavorful. My wife enjoyed her ramen as well. It took us a minute to get oriented, but once we did, it was smooth sailing from there. Saluti

We popped into Duke Street Market for lunch during our one day in Liverpool. So much fun! There are plenty of tasty food choices and seating galore. I chose Fish and Chips and enjoyed every bite. Served hot, flaky, and full of flavor. My partner ordered macaroni & cheese. Everything we ordered was good. Don't miss an opportunity to stop by.

Great place! Only problem was my food and drinks orders from different places was delayed as if they had been forgotten to the point we had to ask twice about different ones, as seeing couples that came in after us get theirs same dish first. But the food was delicious and we would go back. It is very cramps too and though it has a great little nook for kids to play in, it isn’t very accessible. I have problems walking and while there was luckily seating downstairs, you’d struggle with a wheelchair. Plus it seemed the toilets were upstairs, unless there was a disabled one on the ground floor or a lift that we didn’t notice. I did like that it was to be seated and table service though so you weren’t in danger of losing your seat. You order and pay online. But yup, overall we had a great time with lovely food

This place is really great, with a huge variety of food options—truly many. They have Korean, Italian, burgers (very good), as well as a wide selection of beers and drinks. What impressed us most was how easy it was to scan the QR code at the table, pay via Apple Pay (with no extra fees), and have the order delivered straight to the table, without having to queue at the counter or carry your plate around. We also noticed there’s a space upstairs that can be reserved for events. The atmosphere is excellent for going with family and friends. There’s an option to share tables with others, but we didn’t see that as a problem. We will definitely be coming back!

Definitely worth a visit. Really vibey place, perfect for friends and couples. Good verity of food, just browse the menu and order via the QR code - super easy. The pizza I had was delicious, would love to come again and try other vendors. Be advised there may be a short wait to get seated at busy times but definitely worth waiting for.

Came with a work group (approx x40 people) mid week. Venue was chosen for it size and varying food options to suit all members of the group. Place had a cool vibe, however I and most others in the group felt the food was average to poor quality, particularly for the price. I would not eat here again. My work group meet in Liverpool for food a few times a year and I will be lobbying to avoid returning here.

We are at the hotel next to this bar and we'd looked at coming in last night but went into the centre. We had dinner at Pho and didn't want to venture too far and thought we'd pop in and we're so pleased we did! Aaron took care of us all night, we had delicious cocktails and made us feel very special for our anniversary. The venue is fab with a great vibe, the team are very friendly and it's great value for money given the quality of the drinks being served. Shame we don't live here because we'd be regulars!

Great activity whether it be friends, couples, colleagues etc. Large booths and big screens and a choice of guns (pistols included, extra cost for rifles). Cocktails are lovely and there's a selection of pizzas hot dogs and fries to absorb the alcohol. There are offers on certain days/times that make it more affordable if you're on a budget. Good soundtrack, friendly staff and plenty of variety in the games to keep you entertained. A good selection of two for £10 cocktails which are all delicious. Get down for some competitive fun! Edit: Been loads of times now to enjoy the delicious cocktails (Rock out with your glock out being a favourite) and there's a new gun in the mix too. Once you get on the leader board you just want to beat your high score!

Loved this experience for my sisters hen do, something different to a normal bottomless brunch. I would have given 5 stars but I felt the service was a bit slow at first for the amount of people we had, we had to ask quite a lot of times for more drinks and one of the shooting range screens went down for 15 mins but we had an amazing time and when we had to move from the shooting area they had a reserved area ready for us too. Pizzas were nice too.

Interesting pub. We found it on a list of best secret pubs in Liverpool and it was very interesting. We arrived on a karaoke night and found it to be very hopping. The karaoke was been backed up by a live band which made it very cool.

Love this place! Started coming about 2 years ago and have since become a regular - always amazing service and atmosphere & drinks are always 10/10! 100% recommend to anyone in the area.

The music here is so varied one minute you're dancing to Abba and then seconds later its the Artic Monkeys. This is the sort of place you go for 1 drink and end up staying the whole night.

Food was very disappointing. I ordered a sandwich which was obviously made from the ends of the loaf and was a lot smaller than my friends sandwiches (same order). It was not worth £11. My pint of Guinness had a 2 inch head and hadn't been poured properly. More training needed. Menu doesn't list any possible allergies. My friends all enjoyed their food so the pub has potential to be very good.

We visited The one o'clock gun Albert dock on a sunny 🌞 Sunday afternoon whilst out enjoying the Liverpool waterfront. We only stayed for one quick cocktail 🍸. Upon entering, the bar was quiet, although the surroundings was nice. The barman was friendly and took our orders promptly, and drinks 🍸 was served in good order. The cocktails we chose were really lovely and set us up to further explore the wonderful Albert dock. They weren't serving any food while we were there as we would have liked to dine also but nevertheless we enjoyed our drinks. I might pop in again next time in at the Albert Dock.

Called in on a while on a day trip to Liverpool, was very quiet when we got there but a few arrived after us, had a pint of Cider and a pint of Lager, friendly staff, very clean bar area and seating area, toilets were lovely and clean too. Great location to enjoy a pint, couldn’t get a seat outside as they were all full but sat in the snug overlooking Albert Dock. Lovely place and will be back next time we are in this lovely city.

Visited here a few days ago luckily we came at a good time and we were practically the only ones in there. My boyfriend had the pie which he said was lovely and I had the toastie. Sadly I wasn't a massive fan of the toastie not sure what it had in it but wouldn't have it again. Otherwise staff very friendly and welcoming!

One of the best looking full english breakfasts i ever had. It also tasted amazing, the beans were not just from the can, the egg was on point and the black pudding delicious. As a plus you have a friendly service and a great sight.

All round beautiful place, perfect if you like the floral pink aesthetic. We went on a Friday night R&B bottomless brunch to celebrate my birthday. The DJ was the star of the night because the music was a 10/10 with proper throwbacks. Luisa was amazing, super fast service and was totally on it with the drinks (they aren’t lying when they say bottomless). Wide variety to choose from but the frozen strawberry daiquiri was my personal favourite.

Went here with a hen party, the staff were fabulous very friendly and helpful, the venue is nice and there was a great atmosphere however the bottomless brunch was disappointing drinks were great, but the food was just a couple of plates of picky bits( spring rolls, chicken skewers and chicken bites) and a basket of crisps and a piece of cake, wasn't enough food. But glass was never empty and there were dancers and a sax player, it was good fun and we had a great time.

They double-checked everything with the kitchen, explained the safe options to us in detail, and made sure she felt completely comfortable. The food was nice but not a big portion, which is fine for me but others might be disappointed if they have a big appetite - it is brunch after all not a dinner! Good tunes, dancers and saxophonist were fun vibes and energetic throughout!

We came to Boom Battle Bar for a birthday and had a great time ace throwing with Sean! He was brilliant at showing us what to do and cheering us on, and made it a really fun experience! We also played shuffleboard which was so much fun, no pressure and a really cool atmosphere! 10/10! Would definitely recommend!!!

Went here with work for a team get together. There was 14 of us and everyone said how good a time they had. We booked the Axe Throwing and the Augmented Reality Darts. The staff on the day, Jamie, Terri and Adam were fantastic and so helpful when it came to explaining things to us and supervising the Axe Throwing. They really couldn't do enough for us. Definitely do it again. It's ideal for a work team event, family or a group of friends.

Had such a fun afternoon here, really welcoming and friendly staff. Axe throwing was excellent, it was our first time doubt this and it was explained so well and we had such a great night. The mini golf is brilliant. We had a little wait for our time slot for the axe throwing, just due to a larger party being on before us and the staff offered us a free game of pool or shuffle board which was very much appreciated:) Can't wait to come back.

We came to Boom Battle Bar for a Hen Do and did axe throwing. Alex was our host for the hour and was great laugh also helping our very amateur group with tips and tricks as we went through. Would definitely recommend for other groups for a great group activity!

If you're looking for more of a rave or a gig with tonnes of colour and proper event lighting rather than a traditional wedding, then you need the Invisible Wind Factory. The fact there is also a beer garden for summer weddings to enjoy the outdoors is such a plus for this venue, as not many city centre industrial venues have this. If you want to design your day your own way, this venue is the place to do that - one of my fave ceremonies held at IWF had David Bowie songs as their "hymns" and another wedding had a whole wall of crisps as their cocktail hour nibbles. And the cherry on the cake is the amazing portrait locations just round the corner, streets that are urban and cool, giving you a quirky non-traditional photos that will definitely turn heads. The staff are fun and helpful and the caterers make some absolutely incredible food. Cannot wait to shoot here again.

I visited for a book festival. There was a good variety of new authors. A stage with performers , a bar and a selection of food available. The washroom facilities were clean. The best part was the busy, friendly atmosphere. I was surprised at what a great venue it is for this type of event.

Brilliant light show & music sound system - good venue. Toddlers rave for 2 hours it is expensive then cost £8 for face painting and? £6.50 a pint.

A very large warehouse venue near Liverpool city centre. Our visit was a country music festival, there was lots of different bars and a food stall, the stage was big and the artists were amazing. Everyone had a great time and danced and sang along. There is an upper viewing level too so you can watch the artists from there. It's a really great place to visit.

A fascinating brilliantly quirky subterranean drinking cave of dreams!! Well chosen selection of beer and drinks available. Also the best service with a smile we had ( by a northern mile!) on our night out, all credit to the two ladies behind the bar. Truly refreshing to encounter such wonderful service. We were on our way to a gig so only had time for a couple of beers, but they were the most enjoyable beers in a long time!

We went in the evening on 22.08.23. The atmosphere was really cool upon entering and the games selection was excellent, however the female bartender ruined the experience for us. She didn't explain how it worked and made me feel really stupid that I had to keep asking things like where to get tokens and how much they were. She made us feel very unwelcome. Drinks were expensive but nice, I definitely would have ordered more had she not been there

This is such a cool place and refreshingly affordable in terms of the game tokens (drinks not so much). After a bit of a challenge launching games with the xbox and some advice from staff to restart it, I got to introduce my girlfriend to old favourites including need for speed games. The list was impressive. Our personal favourite games here were of course tetris and pacman (so close to being #1 GRRR). Crazy taxi was wicked (but a little challenging with the sensitive steering wheel). The place looks great overall and they have their own beer from Northern Monk to match ...although it was a lemon radler so not everyone's cup of tea haha. There was some sort of Vegan milkshake cocktail which was pretty cool to see. Would definitely spend more time here and I'm delighted to hear they have locations down south...! P.S. the hilarious stuff written around the bathrooms really adds to the experience.

Great idea. Consoles are free but you're encouraged to buy a drink. It's £5 for 15 tokens and most games are 1 token each. Some are 2 tokens. Music is a little loud but enjoyed the UV lighting. Over 30 iconic games to enjoy.

Fantastic hidden gem in Liverpool. Perfect for any retro gamer! Highly recommend and good value for tokens. Staff are very welcoming and on hand for any help needed.

Gaming is not my thing but this was loads of fun. Not a huge place, but it's well laid out. Staff friendly, great value for money. No one seemed to hog the machines. Its not very geeky, more of a cool retro vibe. Definitely somewhere worth visiting.

This is the 3rd NQ64 bar we've been to after Edinburgh & Soho. I've got to say they're consistently brilliant! If you're in anyway into Retro arcade games or old school console games with fun, creative & tasty cocktails! This is the place to visit! Friendly staff with a wide range of gaming knowledge plus a variety of craft beers in stock too! Awesome music on play all night! I'd not just recommend this one but definitely go to your nearest city NQ64, they're amazing!
