Absolutely spectacular baroque church!!! Limited hours. Check website. Weekends can get a little busy but this is the most special church we have seen in Europe so don’t miss it! Have fun!

Day trip to Bergamo, I stopped by to try Stracciatella (chocolate chip gelato). It is a birthday place of stracciatella. I am not big chocolate chip ice cream person. It was creamy and it was good. I wanted wafer cone, it is only come in 3 scoops, 4.50 euro. The wafer cone was okay. The other two favors were pistachios and strawberry. Stracciatella was the best of the three. Is it better than other gelato, not really.

Crispy sweet polenta outside and some kind of cream with almond and apricot jam inside. Don't forget to try coffee with zabaglione as well, I loved it!!

During my recent visit to Bergamo’s charming Città Alta, I had the pleasure of stopping by La Marianna at Largo Colle Aperto, 4. Seated on their spacious outdoor terrace, I indulged in their specialty affogato a delightful combination of rich espresso poured over their signature La Marianna’s original 1961 creation, stracciatella creamy gelato. Complementing this was a refreshing Aperol Spritz, perfectly balanced and served with a smile. The gelato was creamy and rich, with generous chocolate shavings that melted perfectly on the tongue. It was evident that high-quality ingredients were used, making it one of the best I’ve tasted. The ambiance was serene, with the sun casting a gentle glow and the world leisurely passing by. Probably the highlight of my day in Bergamo! I arrived 5 minutes before they opened the doors and I had the tower for myself for about 10 minutes. The view is truly spectacular! Tickets are only a couple of euros and you can also combine the campanone and the museum inside which was interesting but the view is what makes it so worth visiting!

The views are wow 🔔 Then you can visit the remains of the Podesta Palace of the family, some ruins and then a lovely little museum on the history of Bergamo 'Museo Delle Stories di Bergamo". Lots of activities going on this year in general. Definitely worth it!

Stopped by the is town on the way from Milan to Garda. It were many things to do, to shop and good food around. Bought 12 Euro ticket/person to go in Campanone which this same ticket can be used to access another 4 museums nearby as well. The exhibition has been presented brilliantly, so we enjoyed everything here a lot. The only down side is that it all in Italian so we had to use translation application most of the time.

Buy a combined ticket online for the historical museum which includes this Bell's tower. Incredible view from the top with elevator access if needed. A must to discover the beauty of the old city and the nearby hills.

Had a great time in Italy, Milan, just finishing off with a quick day trip to Bergamo. Unfortunately the whole trip has been ruined because of a bus ticket machine that wasn't working and a ticket inspector who decided to fine us instead of helping. So my advice is avoid Bergamo, if you must come don't travel by bus...

Lady in the center saved us. When trains went on strike and we had no chance to get anywhere she made calls for us in italian for our accommodations and to taxis and gave us all of the instructions on all the options. 🙏

Panino Giusto at Orio al Serio Airport in Bergamo Milano offers an impressive dining experience despite the bustling airport environment. The sandwiches, as expected, are amazing. I enjoyed a smoked praga sandwich, while my girlfriend had a salmon one. Both were delicious and maintained the high standard that Panino Giusto is known for. The service was commendable, and we appreciated having a place to sit down and relax even though the airport was quite crowded. The spritz drinks we ordered were also quite good, adding to the overall pleasant experience. However, the price is on the higher side. Spending 15 euros for a sandwich feels steep, which is something to consider. Despite the cost, Panino Giusto provides a nice spot to unwind before a flight, with quality food and drink in a comfortable setting.

If you come from a Foreign Country you need to try Panino Giusto, it’s the real big company that do fast food but with the Italian quality and products. You will spend more than an avarage fast food but it’s really the best panino that you can eat in Italy. I ate Esagerato and Baita that they are amazing, dessert and coffee are good too, it’s not my first time in this place. Unfortunately it’s located this in the airport so it’s loud as all Italian people, but is the best place to eat if you’re waiting your flight.

Had a one-hour break at the airport and decided to skip the usual McDonald’s (which is just across) and try this place instead, and….what a great decision! We had two paninis, the Tartufo and something like Jolly, and they were honestly incredible, considering that it was an airport food. Fresh, flavorful, and way more satisfying than your typical fast food at the airports. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something tasty and a bit more special during your waiting time!

Spent 19 EUR for two incredibly delicious vegetarian sandwiches. We were blown away by how good they were and would have wanted more. They were prepared quite quickly. We didn't seat at their table as there was a 15 minute waiting time, but we got the food to go and sat at the common area tables. Out of all the eating options available in the Bergamo Airport, this place is definitely worth it.

Bought the absolute cheapest thing on the menu (a tiny ham-and-cheese toast, €7.80!) just so I could use a socket and charge my phone as there’re no sockets in the airport. After I paid and sat down, the waitress came over and told me I’d have to spend more money if I wanted to sit at a table. Total scammy attitude they just want to squeeze every cent out of you. Honestly felt unwelcome and ripped off.

Firstly, the kitchen works during siesta time. We decided to eat some local food casoncelli alla bergamasca and cotoletta alla Milansese. The portions were big and really tasty. Moreover, the service was really nice and professional. I recommemd this place!

I have been there a couple couple of times First thing to mention is that do not expect pizza to be like a normal pizza they cook it differently The first time I ordered pizza, it taste it not really good but the second time I ordered this pizza that I already uploaded the image. They will charge you three euros for the service which wasn’t really fair for a pizza but to have a conclusion I think this bar and restaurant is a good one and I don’t know why they have the rate of 3.9 and I think they deserve more than that. We visited the palace and gardens on Sunday and there were quite a few visitors. The palace rooms are spectacular, they are extremely well preserved and restored. There is also the possibility of a guided tour without exorbitant costs. The gardens are a breath of fresh air in the fortress. They are absolutely unusual for Citta Alta.

I had a self guided tour through the palace, the interior is stunning, walking up the staircase has a wow factor. It’s very beautiful. The gardens were lovely too. Definitely a place to visit if you’re interested in the baroque period, I thought the €10 euro entry fee was very reasonable too. I chose to visit around 11am on a weekday and it was incredibly quiet, the staff were very helpful. If you’re staying or visiting Cita Alta, it’s a must see, I hope to visit again in the future.

Nice atmosphere before Christmas 2022. Pedestrian areas, shopping district, high street, coffee shops, a small ferris wheel and Christmas Markets as well nearby. A beautiful part of the lower city where You can stroll quietly to spend some spare time.

Very tasty food and good coffee. I was looking for a croissant with pistach and they had exactly this. Also I got the croissant with nocciolla and the taste was amazing. For brunch I ate Panino Il Sublime and I was very satisfied, it execede my expectation. On the other side service was a little bit of, coffee was served to go even if I had a table, the sandwich was forgoten in the owen and the tables cleaned with some delay.

This is actually a cafeteria. Not so bad, but of course expensive because of the airport Three slices of pizza, cappuccino and water 30 EU The quality is relatively OK, but pizza was warmed

A slice of pizza, a focaccia, a Sicilian arancino... You choose the Italian snack from this take away fast food. Sandwiches, focaccias and pizza are freshly are made there in the kitchen. Other food arrives frozen and they just microwave before going on the shelf, unfortunately there are no signs about it. Recommended is the focaccia di Recco (a city next to Genoa) very difficult to find out of Liguria.

1 star is the perfect rating for this bar. Overpriced, low quality products, is just a turist trap just like any other bar you will find here, they are owned by the same busines that changes name to trick you into believing you have freedom of choice. The only pro is the tortellini option, still Overpriced but they are actually good if you can go beyond the 10 euros per portion. Also during summer its infested with flies.

They are registered on edenred ticket resturant app but when I asked to pay through it, they denied. Pathetic

A typical tourist restaurant. The food was average, and there was no flexibility to order anything outside of the set menu. At least they managed to bring us tomatoes and mozzarella separately, as they weren’t able to prepare a Caprese salad. The pasta wasn’t bad, the most delicious one was the lobster pasta. However, the most disappointing part was that they added an extra bottle of wine to our bill, which we neither ordered nor drank. When we pointed out that we had only one bottle, they corrected the bill without any issues. Still, it left us with a slightly uncomfortable feeling, as it could have been an honest mistake or something less innocent. The only truly enjoyable aspect was the beautiful garden and its pleasant atmosphere.

Great local food. We had for apetisers au eroine which was not so reat and 16 year old prosciuto with bread and cheese - very tasty! Maine course we had the răzbit with polenta and ravioli👌

Incredible meal and a wonderful dining experience. We were served by Michel, a sommelier with a true passion for his craft. He had spot-on tasting notes for the simple montepulciano blend we selected, made excellent meal suggestions, poured a few glasses of a lovely white to try with our grilled sea bass (when I asked if we had made a classic wine error ordering fish while enjoying abbottle of red), and took care of us quite adeptly throughout dinner. Truly enjoyable!

Very busy spot for dinner special at the weekend. Reservation was needed. We have ordered Rabit with polenta, beef with polenta and two pizzas + bottle of red wine and 2 Coca Cola paid around 80 euros with coperto. We didn’t have to wait long for our order. Everything was tasty. Portion was not to big. If you order only one dish (no starters) you might be a little bit hungry but then you have a space for dessert so overall is good👍

We have the impression that the waiters are bored and seemed to be angry with customers and foreigns. Food was fine, price is fair and we were pleased to be acomodated at the garden. Arrived in Bergamo and had to try this place despite a couple of dodgy reviews. Walked in about 6pm and were immediately sat at a nice table. My family and I had a fantastic time. Great food (the steak was awesome!), really friendly staff who were helpful on food and wine selections and great fun. We were sat upstairs and we all commented how good the acoustics were for conversation at the table in a reasonably full restaurant by the time we left at about 9:30pm. As for the slightly negative reviews on here… Hey everyone has an off day, don’t let that put you off this great establishment. Cost wise… €170 for 4 people having 2-3 courses each, soft drinks and a decent bottle of local wine to complement the steak. We felt that was very reasonable considering the quality of the experience. We could easily have dined there without deserts and the alcoholic beverages for well under €100

Great restaurant at citta alta with a lot of local products. They offer a variety of local cuisine, beer, wines, pizza and sweets. When we went it was packed and had quite a wait time, so it was a good thing we had a reservation in advance. The dishes were great and the pizza was very light.

Located in the medieval heart of Bergamo, in a building that once housed an ancient monastery later converted into a prison, Il Circolino di Città Alta offers cozy, atmospheric spaces that make for a truly memorable dining experience. We enjoyed an exquisite Italian lunch, with each dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The pizzas were light and crispy, while the Caprese salad featured ripe, juicy tomatoes and a whole mozzarella, perfectly seasoned with fresh herbs. Very reasonably priced. The waiting staff were attentive and polite throughout. A wonderful spot — I’d definitely recommend visiting when in Bergamo!

Great service and great vegan options! We were happy to find a traditional Italian ristorante that offers a variety of vegan options. It’s not listed on the menu but the staff helped out! 😊 Till now we ate the bruschetta with Tomate, the spaghetti pomodoro, we love the insalata mista but our highlight is the vegan polenta option! 🙏

Good pizza and with options to have it gluten-free and with lactose free mozzarella. Not many pizza places have both options. Service was okay,had the impression that the waitress was going to say no to my wife when she asked to have her pizza cut for her. She eventually took my wife’s pizza back to the kitchen to have it sliced up but she gave the impression that she was reluctant to do it. Not sure why but it’s a simple request. Not sure I would go back to this restaurant.

Everything that we ordered was delicious. The beer selection is good. My linguini with sea food looks very good, but some of the food needs to be cleaned from shells. It wasn't so comfortable and you need napkins. The tables are very close each others. Overall I could come back and will recommend to my friends.

My husband and I researched restaurants in Bergamo before we left the UK. We came across this delightful restaurant online and called to book a table on the terrace for the evening we arrived. Well, what can we say! It delivered beyond our expectations in every way. We took the funicular railway and a few steps from the terminal & we had arrived at the restaurant with its outstanding view and twinkling lights. It was such a pretty setting. The buzz from the people dining on the terrace was just lovely, and we received exceptional service from the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very friendly too. The menu choices were amazing, and the food was incredible! Every dish had flavours that set your taste buds going. We had a lovely rose wine recommended by their wine waiter, which did not disappoint. All in all, we had a truly wonderful evening, and we will treasure our memories of our time spent here. Highly recommended. Pay a visit when in Bergamo, you will not be disappointed!

We found out about this place from the Michelin guide and this was actually a second visit. We went in without a reservation and the staff were super accommodating. The food is so good, it has a familiar feel, like good ol' homecooked meals but with a special twist. I especially enjoyed the pumpkin appetizer, the carbonara and the truffle pasta. Not to mention the pittoresque setting which was so cozy in a rainy day.

Had an excellent dinner here Aug 31st. It was hard to choose whether to sit inside or outside as the inside is so beautiful, and the outdoor view is amazing. Excellent young lady server took care of us and the food was amazing. Grazie.

One of the best experiences I ever had in Italy, amazing food, great staff. I would totally recommend this eating journey. We got here by accident just visiting Bergamo after some busy days in Milan, and were kinda disappointed to be honest. But I do recommend Bergamo and especially this restaurant. Important destination in Bergamo. Great food, excellent location, and super experience. Not all the service peolpe speak english - but it's not a big issue.

This is a Michelin star restaurant so you can expect prices to be high, but you do great food and great service. The food was amazing although I ordered the Cod with Polenta and expected it quite different but still delicious. I was able to taste the Octopus as a main dish and this was magnificent. A nice touch was all the complimentary little dishes in between courses and with the coffee. We were a party of 11 so I was lucky to try different starters and main courses and all the meals were exceptional. We had a lovely Bergamo white which was fruity and complimented our courses which were all mainly fish courses. A meal at this restaurant is not cheap but it's a culinary experience worth indulging in. I have to mention the excellent customer service which was delivered with professionalism and cheerfulness. There is only one thing that lets this restaurant down, and that is the toilets. First, they need to be cleaned during the clients being there as it gives a bad impression when there is no toilet paper or hand wipes.

We stumbled across this little gem on a short trip to Bergamo. The restaurant is so welcoming and the decor is gorgeous. The wine section was great, the service was fantastic and the free antipasti with each glass of wine was to die for would highly recommend.

This is the best GLUTEN FREE restaurant in the area. The menu has many GF options and the service is very good. I would suggest making a reservation during week-ends because it was quite full. Gourmet food with local ingredients.

I dined solo for the evening. I walked in and asked for a table and was seated somewhere towards the back for a nice quiet meal. The music was a fantastic playlist to go along with the food. I had excellent service with the waitress taking care of me for my time there. She made some excellent recommendations for the evening. They have many gluten free options to choose from here. Reading some of the other reviews was unfortunate to read. I had the opposite experience with my visit to this place without a reservation and walking in. I will definitely dine here again if I’m the Bergamo area.

What an experience! It was super fun and delicious, we felt like it was the real deal. We were seated at a shared table, very kind waiter explained the menu to us (in spanish so we would understand), there is a salad bar, you get water, wine, bread and one or two course meal. The atmosphere is eclectic and so charming! It felt genuine and honestly it was a treat! Price is very reasonable too.

They are offering a fixed menu plus a buffet for 25 Euro. A carafe of wine is included. Our pasta dishes were very good. The pork chop was very dry and was not seasoned. Boring. The roast beef was boring too.. On one photo what we gave back uneaten. The dessert was too sweet. The salad buffet was nothing to talk about. The cheapest available stuff. Because we prefer beer over wine, we asked if it's possible to change the included wine to beer. One waiter said yes, another said no. Finally I ordered one beer - a Heineken was the only available one. What a shame, because there are very good Italian beers. So we tried the wines. Big mistake. The cheapest wines on the market I guess. The waiters were friendly, the waitresses acted if they hate their job. The chairs are maximal uncomfortable.

The famous and charismatic Giuliana runs a restaurant that is truly special in Bergamo. We tried the casoncelli(Bergamo special type of ravioli), the gorgonzola gnocchi, long cooked beef with green sauce, veal with polenta and for dessert we had a bergamo special polenta dessert and tiramisu. All these dishes came with a salad buffét with 20 different selections of salads, 1/4 bottle of wine, water, bread & coffee with the desserts for €25 per person. Fantastic service, unique athmosphere and really tasty food.

We visited this restaurant for the second time during a short family holiday at the beginning of September. This allows me to modify my previous review based on the food tasting. The pizza is delicious, with perfect dough, excellent toppings and seasoning. The staff are very efficient and discreet. I like that you can pay at the cashier on your way out. The biggest advantage of this restaurant is the view from the terrace. The view is worth every penny. :)

WOW. A must visit restaurant. A lovely walk up a long cobbled hill. The menu had changed and I couldn't see a vegan opinion. The waitress asked the kitchen and they made me a vegetable ragu with tagliatelle. It was excellent. The view from the open patio door was spectacular. Waiter service was attentive but not overpowering. A really nice, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The restaurant offers truly excellent food and authentic local Italian cuisine. I had one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten, and the beautiful views made the experience even more special. However, I would kindly suggest that the staff try to be a bit warmer and more relaxed, as the atmosphere could then match the wonderful quality of the food.

Wonderful and down to earth restaurant with the most stunning view over Bergamo and surrounding hills. We had a mix of Italian primis and pizzas with local wine.

One of the best views ever. Overseeing the whole of Bergamo and the amazing hills and mountains. The food was delicious. It is a mix of local Bergamaschi dishes like rabbit stew with polenta, and lovely tuna stake , they were kind enough to arrange a big table for us that would still come with a view and keep it as we were late due to traffic. The tiramisù was perfect and they have a very good variety of vines. It is a busy place and i reccomend you book and come on time.

Amazing, but really amazing restaurant. Service was on point or more, such funny and amazing people which is so great to see in italy. They even offered us a purse holder to put on the table ! Staying in Citta Alta and not visiting Parietti should be a crime. Great vibe and way ahead of even twice as expensive restaurants. The Ravioli alla Canesi is one of the most savory dishes I have ever tasted! Might look like it's far from the city, but the walk from Citta Alta is super easy

A wonderful restaurant. Not large, and you should book to avoid disappointment. But fantastic food with incredible value, a very cheerful decor, and lovely service. We had the taragna alla campadini, and it was one of the best meals I had in my trip to Lombardy.

Beautiful baroque cathedral. Came here while rehearsal for big mass. I found a chapel of holy cross very beautiful. There is a painting of Christus taking off the holly cross and in the dome painting Christus is painted with the cross and Father God and Holly Spirit as Holly trinity. There is also small and hidden Stations of the Cross, carved in marble. The cathedral has also a crypt, but was not accessible at the time of visit.

Bergamo Duomo is set on Piazza Duomo - a tiny and packed square with other religious edifices. It is the very first on the left, and you'll recognized it by its whitewashed neoclassical facade. However, behind it, when you enter, you're stunned with outstanding and beautiful art and decoration. We even found it more beautiful than the next door Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore, as the decor is not that intense like Basilica's. Entry is free

Quite plain on the outside but rich in decoration in the interior. The Crypt area is very interesting and a must see when you visit. There are a few mini chapels off to the sides, so make sure you visit those also. As always with these Italian Cathedrals the floors and ceiling is incredible. The church is free to enter.

Have to visit. If you like the art it’s possible to spend hours there to enjoy everything with details

Beautiful walls from the venetians, free entry and a nice stroll on a good day. You really have to be there to appreciate exactly how grand, thicc and impressive these walls are. Heres some background. Built by the Republic of Venice in the 16th century to defend Bergamo from invaders, these massive stone walls stretch over 6 km and feature bastions, gates, and tunnels. They were never breached in battle and remain one of Europe’s best-preserved Renaissance military structures.

A beautiful walk, perfect both during the day and at night. The views are stunning, and it’s a wonderful way to enjoy Bergamo’s charm and atmosphere.

Beautiful old part of town, could have spent longer wandering around and drinking cocktails but it was very cold when we visited. I bet it is lovely in summer or at Christmas (as long as you are dressed for the cold!)

We had a great meal – the food was good and the service staff were friendly and quick. We didn’t have to wait at all. We visited on a Thursday afternoon and really enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere, good drinks, and a comfortable noise level.

This place is a vibe. Right next to the cathedrals in Piazza Vecchia in Bergamo Alta, tucked away in the corner is a nice caffe that can get busy at times. Great for a brioche and espresso in the morning or aperitivo as the sunlight dances along the facades as the day concludes, this place is great to leisurely spend your time, either by yourself, a loved one, or friends.

After staying a few nights we tried this restaurant for our last night. The food was fantastic and fairly priced, the service was exceptional! This is the first restaurant where we felt there was no rush to move us on, a very enjoyable night. Would highly recommend.

The Vegan Paella is great and beautiful, with lots of flavors. Minus one star because by default water costs extra 3 euros, PLUS the 3 euros coperto. I thought coperto should include water...

Outstanding!! Loved every minute of this experience. The waiter spoke really good English and was super helpful, knew the menu really well. I had the best fresh pasta with simple tomato sauce which was top quality. The pizzas are also delightful, great toppings. The service was fast, we ended the feast with pistachio ice cream dessert that we shared and still think it's a serving for 3 people, so huge and so good! We'll be back, it's our hidden gem!

Superb gluten free experience. Wide selection of pizzas, I chooses Byron and it didn’t fit my preferences in 100% but was tasty, my partner was also happy with her pizza, normal, non gluten free. Great atmosphere and a lot of locals there. I would totally go again but choose a classic pizza.

At Antica Osteria Del Vino Buono in Bergamo, the service was great, with staff that were very welcoming and friendly. We began with a shared plate of charcuterie and cheese, which offered a nice mix of flavors. This was followed by the ‘drunk’ risotto (daily specials) and ravioli; the risotto was fine, though it didn't stand out in flavor. The ravioli, filled with meat and topped with sage, bacon, and melted butter, was exceptionally tasty. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant further enhanced our enjoyable dining experience.

I’m still thinking about the pasta weeks later, one of the most flavourful dishes I’ve had in a while. Service was lovely, well priced and good atmosphere inside.

The food is pretty bad for the restaurant. They brought what they claim to be a “slowly cooked pork” within 10 minutes, which means it’s premade. Feels like I ate in a school canteen a very mediocre dish. The tomatoes they brought were not quite fresh either. The interior and service is good, but I’m disappointed with a food a lot, waste of money.

Favorite spot in Bergamo. Perfect for nice and a quiet walk. It gives great view of old and new town. BUT BE CAREFUL, IT CLOSES AT 9 PM. We got locked inside the park together with a few more tourists because we weren't aware if this. Luckily, guard let us out a few moments after and then took off in his car.

The fortress is super nice and the views are amazing and definitely worth it. But the museum inside will be useless for you if you don't speak Italian. There isn't a single English text in there.

Wonderful view over the city of Bergamo. So make sure you walk on the top wall of the fortress. In the Park aroud the fortress you do find military memory stones. We didn't visit the museum but just for the view it was worth it.

Nothing short of a culinary disaster. Avoid the chicken burger at all costs. Tasteless minced meat with rubber cheese on top and I try not to think about the sauce. The staff was really nice and energetic though.

We did not stay here, however, we came to try the restaurant and I had a great time! The staff was super welcoming and made sure we had a very enjoyable experience. For the prices this restaurant offers amazing food that is of high quality! I absolutely loved every meal we had from beginning to end. I definitely recommend this place if you are in Bergamo + there is a lovely view of the city!

Fantastic hotel. The best of our entire trip to Europe. Quaint, well thought out and elegant. Peacefully set up on the top of Bergamo, with an excellent castle touch. We loved our stay and felt so relaxed in the peaceful slice of heaven. Also, shout out to Alice with the Hotel at reception/concierge. This is a sensational hotel and restaurant at the top of Bergamo. The views are second to none. Incredible dining spaces inside and outside. Service was first class and meticulous. We had a variety of starting dishes which were all incredible. The food is sourced very much locally. The main dishes of local lamb were sensational. Wine choices were incredible also. We didn't stay here, just stepped in for Coffee and a snack after a long day. I would want to come back and stay cause it was a lovely place and the staff were superd. They didn't have to be so nice as we were only getting 10 euros of stuff but they treated you like a guest regardless. Faultless service!

The drink selection is good with nice wines and great cocktails, and the decor and view from the balcony are both impressive. We've now been to Bergamo 3 times and I wouldn't dream of going there and not visiting this place at least once.

On the second and top floor. The room is on a corner of the building and has four windows with spectacular views. Even the bathroom has a window. Ample sunlight. The room is modern and efficient. Comfortable and quiet. I will request the same room when I return. The morning breakfast is like dining in a family home. Welcoming and cozy. Ample selection of items and great coffee. In writing to the management in advance, they accommodated my request for oak milk. The responsiveness of the management to emails is exceptional. No question is a bother. I stayed at the Le Funi Hotel from August 26th to 29th. The hotel is great, the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The location is just right, a 10 minute walk to Citta Alta and a 5 minute walk to the bus stop. The reception staff were very friendly and happy to provide information about sightseeing in Bergamo. The breakfast service was excellent and Lucia deserves special mention, as she greeted every guest with a smile and warmth. It was a pleasant start to the day and coffee was absolutely delicious.
