This is a must visit street. It's the main street in Zakopane and its center. Lots of shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. There are many Halal food and Western food. There is only McDonald's as a fast food restaurant. Youust try the ice-cream many shops with many flavors. Prices are reasonable, and the kids love the gifts of shops. You must visit this street. Highly recommend.

Agree with other reviews, that place is truly beautiful and accessible, even though it's around 8km one way to Morske Oko. However, parking is expensive and toilets are not free( except honey buckets) , so make sure to bring some cash. It was a little bit chilly at the top( at the beginning of May), bring some warm clothes with you and grab some snacks.

Mountains have breathtaking views. Cable car was a less than 15 minutes to the top. Definitely worth the time and hike. Dress accordingly and wear proper shoes. Highly recommend visiting on a clear sunny day. Note: they charge for bathrooms, however the bathrooms near the ticket booths are free of charge.

Perfect park, in all seasons with different types of path

I recently visited Morskie Oko. It is definitely breathtaking. However, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE HORSE CARRIAGES! The horses are treated poorly and looked very overworked, pulling asses of 10-15 people up and down the hill. It really ruined my hike seeing horses being mistreated in such a cruel way and sent up and down the hill while it’s so hot outside. I saw horses with tongues hanging out of their mouths while carrying the carriage, really horrible. While I saw that they were fed I did not see that they had any water given in this heat. Honestly, it’s 2025, if you want to see the mountains , you need to be prepared to hike for the views. I also saw vehicles for disabled people. So there is no excuse to this cruelty. Last year, a horse collapsed right there while carrying people up the hill. Many have died after few months of being in this service or sent to slaughterhouses. They don’t have a long lifespan due to them being constantly overworked and mistreated. Please do not promote such a horrible treatment towards animals, who definitely deserve better than this.

I really liked it! The pizzas are delicious. The cocktails are great! We were here two days in a row. The girls working there are great! There are several parking spaces for visitors. It is also possible to leave your car on the street (the price depends on the time of day).

After trying pizzas in over 10 countries, this is by far the best pizza Romana! Thin, crispy base with rich, delicious toppings + super friendly service!

A beach-themed  italian restaurant with quick service and they were very friendly. The interiors and the lively music gave a relaxed feel. We had Pizzas and only here during the whole stay in Zakopane. The pizzas were exquisite - with the crust being soft and the flavour matching the dough; I am trying to find such a restaurant in Warsaw and so far not able to find. The Cappucino was very good with proper blend of coffee. The Nachos with cheese toppings is a different taste. The prices were very reasonable and this qualifies it for the complete * rating.

Really good coctails, delicious pizza and the waitress / barista was talkative and fun, she even said few words in our language (Lithuanian)! We enjoyed our last evening in Zakopane in this cute place. You can really feel the town by talking with locals.

This is a hidden gem in Zakopane. The rooftop bar sits atop a rather ugly block building. To enter, go to the right side of the building when looking at it from the street side, enter and on your left is an elevator, take to the 4th floor. Once up there the cafe is quite nicely decorated. Different rooms inside and then outside is seating with outstanding views of the city and mountains. Menu has drinks and some food also. We went just for drinks. Friendly staff. Views amazing. Prices reasonable. Highly highly recommend visiting.

I came because of the hype, but I was disappointed. Aside from the location, the apple pie was mediocre at best. If you look at the attached photo, you’ll notice how small it is and how different it looks compared to what previous customers received.

One of the hidden gems in the heart of Zakopane. You will amazed to see the breathtaking views from the top. This cafe is located in the 5th floor. They are famous for their coffee, a must try. Prices are quite reasonable.

What a charming place to spend time during the day, read a book, while enjoying amazing coffee and food, while listening to chill music. Staff working there seemed to crack all the codes of kindness and hospitality. The place has a large terrace with an amazing view of Giewont. While raining, you can still see it while sating inside, enjoying the 4th floor.

Cafe with almost 300 deg views of Zakapone and the mountains around. There is seating inside and outside. it’s on the fourth floor so views are amazing, a bit difficult to find the entrance, it’s around the side of the grocery shop. There’s also an interesting antique shop on the 3rd floor

Great place that was opened after 11pm. Super nice bar lady and just right atmosphere for when you want to just relax after heavy day.

My favourite bar in Zakopane. So cosy, warm, and welcoming. The lady behind the bar with blonde hair and glasses is always so friendly and puts everyone at ease. There is always a fire burning and pleasant vibes. We always have the "Tea with Electricity" which is perfect to warm up after a cold day.

Extremely cosy place to chill in Zakopane. Most the cocktails are amazing (we had quite a few between us, and for most of them to be hits is quite impressive). The vibes of this place are unbeatable. Loved it.

The Piano bar is amassing, it's tucked away behind the main tourist street beside a little art gallery. The outdoor seating area is such a cosy colourful relaxed space. The swing seats by the bar are really fun. The staff are very friendly and they have a good selection of beers.

A great cafe to spend some time to talk and enjoy time. Very cozy. It has an amazing garden with hammocks, tables, chairs and spaces to sit and talk. Very recommended to spend time with friends.

I travel a lot but never been in a pub where it feels like hime from the moment you step your foot in it. Enjoyed so much the karaoke night, live music evening, and met so many nice local people, who are happy to welcome expats. They just care. It is impossible to feel lonely over there! Top of the top though is the staff that does world class drinks and cocktails. I swear, never ever met such professional and kind bartenders. I hope to see them one day teaching other bars how the good drink should look and taste❤️

Nice place, located in a basement. There's pleasant half dark and neon lights which create good atmosphere. Prices of drinks are acceptable, there's no food though. Recommend 👍

Watra is worth a stop if you’re looking to try some great local beers—the selection is solid, and it’s a nice spot to sit with a drink. Unfortunately, the service is inattentive and lacks the warmth you’d hope for in a place that attracts both locals and visitors. I’ve visited before and was once served old whipped cream with a dessert, which left a poor impression and makes me reluctant to recommend eating here. On this recent visit, the food offerings didn’t feel particularly inviting, and the focus seemed more on drinks than on maintaining quality in the kitchen. If you’re in the area, I’d say it’s fine for a beer and a casual stop, but I wouldn’t come expecting a full dining experience or attentive service.

Tourist trap in a sense that it is a folksy place, neons inside, etc. Food portions are large but quality of food is average, actually we had 2 folks from the group sick after eating there. Moreover staff is acting like they do not care. They forget what you ordered or bring what you did not order. All in all , not recommended unless you like this folksy style and are ok with taking your chances with food quality.

Having been here later in the evening a few years ago and enjoyed the music, we came early evening for dinner. The Golonka from the grill was probably sitting a while. Lots of very dry bits in it. Mustard and chrzan sauce definitely needed and was good. Skin was tough as leather, very difficult to cut and couldn’t bite through it. The potato pancakes were big but goulash was salty and meat was tough. Pizza for kids was ok for a place that isn’t a pizzeria. Beer was excellent. Portions were big and came surprisingly quickly for such a big place. Quality wasn’t good though. Atmosphere and interior were good and it’s a good place for a big group to drink.

The place was bustling – we went there on Friday evening, so there was karaoke going on in the next room. The soups – żurek and kwaśnica – were rather on the weaker side and at the same time the most expensive in Zakopane. We didn’t finish our beers either, as they weren’t very good.

We were 5 people eating breakfast here.The food was not good and not worth the price,50 PLN per plate.The soup was plain,and the rest was not tasty. They say the food is halal but I really doubt that. Not recommended.

We just stopped by this restaurant for a quick evening snack and beer all i can say is i will never visit here again!!😂😂😂 it just looks good from the outside while in the inside The Food the Service is zero (0) "No taste at all when u compare to the other polish restaurants in zakopane" (We had 14 days stay here and it was our 5th day visiting here!!) Offers truly tasty, authentic Polish food in a charming setting. However, the live band's breaks were longer than their sets, leading to a somewhat quiet and uneven atmosphere. Worth it for the food, but be prepared for musical pauses.

This hobby restaurant is located halfway down the tourist Street in Zakopane. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the restaurant is decorated in old Polish style. They even have old Polish folk music playing in the background. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the food is good and the portions are big. I made the mistake of ordering the baked potato pancake with mushroom sauce. I didn’t really like it, and I returned it. It was my fault. I misread the menu. The duck pierogi, the beef burger, and the chicken soup were excellent. If we had more time, we would certainly return. I recommend this restaurant.

I visited Karczma Zapiecek in November, and it was absolutely wonderful! The interior is incredible – beautifully decorated with wood, giving it a cozy and authentic atmosphere. The staff were so kind, polite, and made me feel truly welcomed as a guest. The food was amazing — delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Very tasty and atmospheric place in a lovely Zakopane Service could be better but maybe it was just a start of the day so they were still sleeping a bit.

Decided to go here off a recommendation by our tour guide. The restaurant was definitely worth it. The oven roasted trout was great, however it is not deboned, and needed a little more salt. The potato I got was pretty big and came with a creamy rich sour cream. The salad was more of a coleslaw with shredded carrots and some cucumber. The restaurant was worth it, and was great value for myself and my wife.

Food is great, waiting time was okay even when it’s fully booked. Staff were really lovely, food was delicious. Loved it!

My wife and I visited for lunch. The atmosphere inside was fantastic, and the waiter was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I think this is an excellent restaurant to experience authentic Polish local cuisine.

Be careful: We witnessed mice eating their newborn babies. The spectacle is not for children! Advantages: Cheap attraction for the whole family. Amazing decorations and cute mice. Disadvantages: Toilets were dirty. The museum is very small.

The place was quite unique and definitely something you don’t see every day. It was very cool to explore and watch, and the concept itself is impressive. However, the experience is rather short — you can see everything in about 30 minutes. For that amount of time, it felt quite expensive. Overall: A fascinating and unusual attraction that’s worth seeing once, but be aware it’s a brief visit for the price.

A very charming and unique little attraction! 🐭✨ The idea of creating small themed worlds for the mice and degus is absolutely adorable — from mountain villages to fairy-tale forests, each setup looks like a miniature wonderland. Watching the mice explore, climb, and interact with their surroundings was truly heartwarming and fun to see up close. The ticket price was 28 PLN, which feels a bit high considering how short the visit is. The displays are creative and detailed, but some areas could definitely use better maintenance — a few enclosures didn’t smell great and looked like they could be cleaner. I also noticed that some parts of the setups (like high poles or steep slopes) could be unsafe for the tiny animals. Overall, it’s a very memorable experience, especially for animal lovers or families with kids. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and animal safety, this place could easily become a must-visit gem in Zakopane. ❤️

Awful conditions for the mice. The smell was unbearable and if it was like that for me, I can't imagine how bad it must be inside the cages. Poo everywhere. Unacceptable. There were way too many mice to a cage, especially one tiny one where all the mice were piled on top of each other. There was 1 wheel per cage, which is not enough for so many mice. I saw 3 mice trying to crawl in at the same time. The wheels were also too small I think and will cause back problems for the mice. Even disregarding the blatant animal welfare issues, as a customer, the experience was awful due to the smell. This place should be shut down.

We just visited this place while waiting for our train. You can pay by card, 28 zl per ticket is quite expensive for small area. However, they have very nice decorations and very cute mice. Friendly lady, clean toilets.

Attraction is in basement, many different windows with different setting. It was cute to watch the mouses in different environments. Conditions was quite good, not dirty, just a bit of a smell from beginning. The only problem was cashier. We didn't have a problem the payments was possible only by cash, but she wanted exact amount of cash because she didn't have any change. We have to leave and buy something in order to have some change exactly as she wanted. Not very welcoming.

Very nice place, we really enjoyed. My daughter which is 3 years old didn't want to leave Zakopane without visiting Myszogrod for the second time. So we have to turn around and visit it.

Great views. We hiked. 3 h up. Took cable car back down 30 euros, very expensive. To expensive for a Eastern Europe country. Makes no sense its more expensive than the ones in North America…. But it is what it is. No parking close must get private parking. Lots of people. Great views at the top Only. Worth it for hiker not so much for non hikers, your kind of just gonna wait in a super long line to get on top of a mountain then you have 1,40 min max on top before waiting in line again and going back down. Cool hike for hikers. Not super difficult

Waited in line to get a ticked for about 1,5h, eventually decided to hike instead of waiting. Great hike (northern route along the left side of the river) fairly easy if trained well maintained path except for all the garbage :( after the ascend we wanted to take the cable car but we were told that again we needed to wait a long time with the possibility of being stranded. Eventually I decided to do the descent by foot what ended up in a beautiful scenic hike into sundown!

Amazing place! We took the cable car and bought our tickets earlier that morning. When we arrived, we saw a very long line, so it’s worth checking the website even if you’re already there. Prices change depending on the time of day, so if you want a cheaper option, check the website to see when it’s best to go. We went up the mountain and hiked back down — really beautiful!

It was amazing. I'd like to hike there next time instead of the cable car. Be careful with the timing and the weather, even though it was sunny, up there was crazy cold and windy. After some time we were completely in the clouds.

This cable car was not the best we have experienced. There’s only one cable car on the Polish side of the Tatras, so they have a captive audience. You are expected to show up 20 minutes early for your time slot and you are then packed in like sardines. It’s the only Gondola type cable car I have experienced where all 40-60 people have to get out half way up and change cars. Once you get up there you have only one hour and fourth minutes on your round trip ticket before you are expected back for the return trip. The price wasn’t too bad but I would have liked to spend several hours hiking before I had to return.

Another great spot to visit once in southern Poland. We visited on a weekday, out of summer holidays and there was no line whatsoever. If you get lucky with weather as well, you'll be getting beautiful views. The Ground station is not accessible by cars, cars to be parked in town and shuttle to be taken to the ground station. Area is wheelchair accessible; lifts and ramps are available all the way through. Eating outlets are available around the area as well. Free restrooms are available next to the ticket booth.

10/10 views! Worth a visit. We went there early in the morning, got the nearest parking (50 zlot), then walked about 1.5 km to the cable car. The weather was fantastic, we had great time! To your attention - free toilets are only at the foot of the mountain, near the ticket office. It is 5 zlot on the top.

We came with a couple of friends looking for a nice place to have a drink and a good time, when we approached the place, at the entrance there were four security men, they started staring at us from the bottom to the top with a contemptuous look, after that I didn't even bother to go inside. People!!! we are in the 21st century in a cosmopolitan world, such behaviors are medieval.

It was a terrible experience. I was with my friend and security said that he can’t enter with “pants like that”. I never saw or heard anything like this any other place in any country. It’s 2025 outside, how is it even possible. Really shit place. And by the way other “stylish folks” in there were wearing skinny jeans.

TL:DR - Ak rozumieš tejto vete bez prekladača, sympaťáci v o tri čísla menšom oblečení pred dverami ťa nepustia dnu. Bouncers with a God complex. Rude even though we were polite. They let us in one night, denied the other - stating “because” as the reason. Probably since they heard us speaking Slovak. Didn’t have this problem in Scandal and the club itself is on a whole different level. If you want to go clubbing, go there. This place is average - on par with any small town club. Bartending staff and the attendant were really nice to us though :)

The club is nice and music is okay. But the regular drinks like aperol are fing 50pln. I understand the drinks in the clubs are pricy/overpriced but what the actual f. Can smb explain what are we paying for because this is ridiculous. Don't recommend going if you plan on having some drinks on the bar. For the entrance you can pay cash only.

Great music, but a bit expensive

Pretty much a tourist trap, not a real club. Music is the most generic pop possible. Guests are mostly middle aged man, barely any women. They apparently consider the club to be "prestige" place but it is really not - that would require staff culture on completely other level. It's like your alcoholic uncle having a glow up makeover - looks kind of okayish but is still who he is. I know there is not much choice in Zakopane but seriously, avoid this one.

You need to pay at the door. Then when you get a drink you need to pay for the music. Not watt a night club is about. Staff was demanding .

Newly renovated nightclub in the center of Zakopane. Great music. Divided into two sections for those who prefer having a chat at the cozy bar and those who came to dance 💃 The entrance fee is 30 zł (7€). No reservation is required. Opens at 10 pm but it gets busy closer to midnight.

The music and drinks was great, but it’s just a bit chaotic inside due to some mens were fighting each other.

Place is huge but interior is little old. A Place to dance is small and lights setup is lowcost .Prices are average. But speakers need to set up. Bass are very very bad. Staff is really friendly and drinks are good

As soon as we got in we felt dizzy and off- Balance due to the way the house leans. It takes around 5 mins to see everything inside. I wouldn’t recommend if you suffer from vertigo or have a issues with walking / keeping your balance. A nice place. The house isn’t particularly big — it has two floors and a yard. The house stands on one side of the roof, and when you walk in, it feels a bit unbalanced, with an angle the upstairs makes it hard to walk. On the second floor, there’s a mirror where you can take pictures, with a table and chairs hanging from the ceiling above you. Overall, it was nice.

You have to pay to actually see the house from the outside which includes a visit inside the house. To be honest, I would look at the house outside and just pop your head In the door rather than trying to walk inside. I would have no reason to visit again.

Visited the upside down house today and would say it is really nice for kids but nothing too exiting. The house is not straight, so it is a bit hard to walk around. The ticket costs £13 per person, I think £11 for children. Seeing it would take no more than 5 minutes honestly.

Truly a disappointment. For twice the price that shown on the homepage, we get half as much experience as we expected. Relatively beautiful on the outside, almost empty on the inside :(

It's a really short and quick expirience to share a laugh, at most 10 minutes, not too many things to see but the feeling you get from being there makes it fun.

A very nice restaurant from the Zakopane region of Poland. This region has oak furniture and structures for making a cozy spot in winter or summer. Nice touch with four man music group playing traditional folk music of the region. The service is friendly and professional. We order Zurek soup which is a sour rye base with plenty of meat and hard boiled egg. The pork ribs were delicious. The grilled ribeye was order medium rare and tasted like medium so order rare. The chicken salad was also tasty.

Stek Chałupa is a really nice restaurant with great food and professional friendly service. We tried borscht with meat croquette and delicious asparagus baked with local white cheese, served with rocket and cocktail tomatoes, dressed with balsamic vinegar.

The food, portion, service and atmosphere are all nailed by this restaurant. I did not expect a restaurant in a central of tourism place would be this generous with their portion. 🍝 Food: We ordered 3 main dishes: 1. Flacki (my fav) A traditional Polish beef tripe soup. It is a must try as not every restaurant has it. The soup has quite light despite it is made by beef tripe and rich flavour at the same time with balance seasoning. Only if it is served with additional lemon to balance everything, I will give it 100/100. 2. Baked ducked This dish comes with two duck legs, gnocchi, beetroots and cranberry sauce, a wholesome meal. Each element complimented each other, carb, protein, herbs. The duck seasoning is not that strong, typical European, sweet and savoury in one plate. 3. Roast veal Another wholesome meal served with pierogi and salad. I kinda expect more rich flavour with those tick look gravy, however, it is just like its name, rasted in its own sauce. What a healthy set. We are three people and these three dishes fill our belly to the fullest. 👩🏻‍🍳Service is great and they have live traditional Polish music in the evening 🎻 PS: the toilet needs cleaning :) -- For those Muslim tourists: I wander if restaurants really understand the concept of "HALAL" since almost all restaurants including this one in the city centre has "HALAL" logo on the display and some dishes on their menu. I understand that it is meant to attract those Arabs who are floading the city, but what I understand that you could call a meal HALAL is where: 1. Not only the meat is not pork, they(beef and poultry) are slaughtered in certain Islamic way 2. the dish does not contain alcohol or intoxication substance 3. The utensils used to serve the meals are not supposed to be also used for Pork contained dishes. You have have separate them. #CMMIW I hope the restaurants are aware of it and serving up to its standard before putting those labels. Otherwise, it is just sad and could be considered a scam 😊

We walked quite a bit down the main street looking for a place to eat and came across this. They had a dedicated english menu which was a nice touch for us travellers. When looking at the menu there was plenty of choice along with a seasonal menu of options. We got the trout which was wonderfully done, although be aware you will have to pick out the bones for those who are not keen on fish dishes like that. We also got one of the steaks which was cooked perfectly how we wanted. Along with pork chops with garlic potatoes, the potatoes were an amazing addition to that meal and would recommend a try. When we arrived it was just in time for the live music, all music in this area is very tradition and local which is absolutely wonderful. Overall we very much enjoyed this place, with lovely food and a lovely atmosphere.

Absolutely fantastic!! The staff give 150%, the kitchen is perfectly organised, and works like a Swiss watch. Presentation of food 100% Taste 100% Service 100% Atmosphere 100% Price - excellent When you order, if it is busy, the waiting staff will inform you there is a waiting time, absolute honesty, and for such excellent food, I am more than happy to wait. honestly one of the best places i tried in zakopane. the vibes were really nice and traditional, the decoration and the whole atmosphere felt warm and local. we ordered soup and some traditional polish food, everything tasted really good and fresh what made the experience even better was gabriela, she was super kind and welcoming. she came from time to time to ask if we needed anything, and she explained the food and what’s inside it in a really nice way i actually asked for her name just to leave this review because she really deserves it totally recommend this place if ur visiting zakopane

We dropped by here in October when it was unexpectedly cold in Zakopane. The warmth atmosphere and service immediately made the cold go away~ we were served by a very attentive waiter called Bartek. The food portions are generous! We got the pork loin 'bacon' and deer ghoulash which was tender, juicy and absolutely perfectly seasoned. But the star for us was the white borscht - perfect for a cold day. Highly recommend you come here if you're in town!

We came here last year and just had to return, as soon as we arrived, this year. A relaxed and mellow atmosphere, with warm, professional service. Traditional food served in a modern way and cooked to perfection. The mushroom sauce had amazing depth of flavour, I could have had that as a starter on its own! Slightly high prices than some local restaurants but well worth it for the extra quality, selection and service.

The waiter offered a table right at the window even though it could’ve held more people and we never felt rushed. Highly recommend this place. A wonderful place with very polite staff and a delicious breakfast. The location is amazing — you can enjoy your meal with a view of the snowy mountains. The waiter who served us, Kuba, was the most polite and helpful guy we met during our whole trip in Poland.

You know when you just love a place and wish it was your neighbourhood haunt but since it isn’t, the best you can do is stay for hours and order everything you can fit into your belly? If you don’t, come to STRH and you’ll know what I mean. Overlook the street from inside, cozy up by the fire or cuddle up with a blanket outside by the rushing water. The menu mixes classics and seasonal treats so we were lucky to be there during the days of plums, mushrooms and golden tree canopies.

This is one of the few times where literally reviews and photos guided me here. I have a good sense for restaurants but in a town like this which is super touristy it’s hard to sift through to the greats, but let me confirm again this is one of the greats! The decor is modern simple, exposed kitchen which is lovely filled with copper pans a tidy well dressed staff and clean work stations, the servers are easy going and friendly. The food was really top notch, we had the snails which were excellent and two steaks ribeye and filet both filled with flavor and two lovely sides. I left with a smile and want to come again and again. It’s that good.

The best restaurant in Poland I've vizited ever! Exceptionally delicious food, beautifully and thoughtfully presented dishes, superbly professional service, everything was very quick, on time, and with a sense of humor when needed. If a dish takes a while to prepare, you receive a compliment from the restaurant—in our case, it was their special black bread with a selection of delicious local vegetable oils, honey, and butter. The atmosphere is delightful, beautiful, cozy, clean—everything is simply top-notch! We were served by Marek and Jan—very polite and highly professional waiters who reminded us of the almost forgotten feeling of how respected this profession can be. We visited this restaurant with my family, and it's quite expensive, but the experience is absolutely worth it, and we are all very pleased to have truly enjoyed a high-class restaurant.

Must Visit! Amazing place. Tours are in Polish - no english translation unfortunately. Cheap tickets. Very friendly staff. Very informative. You get to mould your own oscypek at the end. Not recommended if you don't want to risk catching something because they pack all people in a single crowded room that has no hangers for coats(you leave them on the bench) and no ventilation(all the windows are closed). Pretty hot inside and these conditions are hard to bear in winter clothes. The overall show is quite long because every child is trying to mix cheese and pose for pictures. The story they tell about cheese is quite interesting so if it wasn't for conditions it could be a five star feedback.

Polite but Very disappointing. According to front desk person. One must buy ticket two days ahead online. No cash at the door, not even for up price. If you don't not speak polish or highland, you are turned away....even if you understand... even if you are willing to wait. Tip: Do not be spontaneous. You must plan ahead. You must order online. They can not know if you do not speak Polish. It would have been a great way to learn about the area and use the 2 hours I unexpectedly had time for.

Interesting place to visit if you're interested in Poland's history of cheese making and how the process occurs. The tour is for polish speaking visitors but a lovely staff member translated the talk in English to help us understand. It is a bit long, around 1.5 hours, but I had a good experience, especially molding our own cheese.

We arrived st the restaurant and we noticed that is it quite popular. Lots of people inside already. The chef is grilling meat right at the entrance so you can have a look. Very few restaurants are like that. The waitress told us to chose whatever table we wanted. The atmosphere of the restaurant feels like a chalet, all in wood. The ribs and the chicken salad was good. If you order a main dish you should order a side dish since the main dish is not a combo but just the main meat. I took fries and cabbages. Price is decent too. The service was good and recommend to try.

A Colorful Place, but No Way In - Walking past Be Happy Museum in Zakopane, we were instantly drawn to its vibrant, playful exterior. Excited to step inside, we approached the entrance, only to find out that the payment machine wasn’t working. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any cash on us, and there was no alternative way to pay. The staff was polite but couldn’t offer a solution, so we had to leave disappointed. It’s a shame because the place truly looks fantastic, and I can imagine it being a great spot for fun photos and a cheerful atmosphere. If you’re planning to visit, I’d recommend bringing cash just in case. Hopefully, we’ll get a chance to return and actually experience it next time!

There’s a nice little coffee shop right at the entrance where you also buy your tickets—great for a quick drink before or after the visit. However, the place was a bit warm inside, and unfortunately, there was no air conditioning when we visited. The staff were okay—not very welcoming, but they did their job. Overall, a nice stop for families with children looking for a light, fun activity in Zakopane.

We have been to Michelin Starts, and we can guarantee this place is as good as any Michelin. Service is amazing, and the waiting time is perfect even when the place is busy. We stayed 5 days in Zakopane and dined there every single day. When we tried to change the restaurant to try something new, we regretted it and came back. We had the amazing opportunity of dining there for 5 days in a row for lunch and dinner, trying almost the whole menu. Every single dish was fresh, well presented, and sooooo tasty. You can feel all flavours and enjoy your meal from the cheapest dish to the most expansive main course. Mushrooms and vegetable soups are a must to try for starters. Burger sizes are so impressive, and pizzas are very tasty as well. Chicken and lamb are on the top 3 for the main course !! While white choco mousse and cheesecake are the best options for dessert. Quality varies and it’s hard to tell if your experience here will be nice or you’ll regret it. Lately I mostly regret. Today’s roasted duck salad made it for me. Duck was horrible (mushy, like someone left in a fridge for day or two and rehired it to add final touch). Salad probably got the same treatment. I have a strong stomach so I usually fine (I didn’t eat the duck though, I left it on a side of a dish) but my friends experienced mild stomach problems. I change my rating, but to make it justice I leave below my first 5 star review which I’ve done after first few visits last year: Nice restaurant, abundance of not too shabby food. Good option for an evening with friends. At the end your belly will be full and wallet will not suffer too much. My favorites are: tasty soups, salad with roasted duck, and glass of good wine.

Don't forget to plan a visit to this upside down world literally in the city centre. Poland has a few of them and they're super funny. Although walking with snow and ice mess inside was trouble but that's not on them. The ticket price was about 30pln which hasn't been updated online. Overall, a lovely fun place to visit and kids love it. Poland has a few more on the Baltic Coast.

Live music, adjusted to the people's wishes! You can eat cheap, or expensive, and you'll be full either way! The menu is translated in 3 languages, also in hungarian and it is avilable via QR codes. The menus are not translated poorly they are very accurate. Parking is not far away, aprox. 2 minutes away (400 m) through Fashion street, there is a large parking lot, with parking fee of 7 zł/hour on weekdays 'til 9 PM. For disabled people this restaurant is packed with seats on the ground floor, but no toilet. Toilet is only available upstairs. The toilets are clean, and well equipped. The mulled beer, and garlic soups are the top favorite, a must try! Also the pancakes are very very delicious! Basically everything is delish. Longer review: I've been to this restaurant 7 years ago, and remembered that the soups are amazing. I forgot the name of the place, and how it looked like, so we just wandered around the street, and stumbled upon this restaurant with great atmosphere inside. Just after we sat down, my sister sent me the picture from 7 years ago. It was the exact same restaurant!! So not only I remembered, but accidentally fell in love with the place twice🥰🥰🥰 And just as I remembered, the Garlic Soup is the best soup in the whole world. It was served with cheese toast, and plenty of bacons inside the soup, very delicious! The food was still hot, and we didn't wait for the food, only about 15 minutes, each time we ate there. Because yes, we ate there 3 times, everyday, throughout our stay in Zakopane. Our waitress Karolina and waiter Jurek was the best! They were always smiley, and fulfilled any request we had. We will be regulars that is for sure!

Beautiful little church peaceful and full of original wood work. Unfortunately whilst on holiday we received very sad news about my husband’s family member passing therefore we wished to just have a private moment in prayer. We felt the need to go in together as a family with our family Labrador dog as we had nowhere to leave him. I felt it totally appropriate in time and in Gods eyes until a nun came in and asked me out saying it is inappropriate to bring a dog into a Church. The church was almost empty , very quiet in prayer with my own family and my dog very well trained just sat there . I am so incredibly sad we all left on the middle of our prayers because of her remarks. Terrible thing to do by any human and without any reason other than being bitter.

A nice place to visit if you love parrots! A 30min visit is more than enough since it's only one large room. Parking available on site.

Very nice experience for the kids but not only. The place is pretty small, but clean, no unpleasant smells. The parrots looked relaxed, friendly and pretty funny. You should take off your watches and jewellery, this indication will be received also from the reception. We spent around 40-45min there.

Didn’t expect to see cocktail bar like that on Krupowki. Instead of another tourist trap you’ll getcozy place with knowledge staff where you can get all kinds of drinks. Had beer, old fashioned, White Russian and tequila sunrise, all excellent. It’s not speak easy but close enough.

Authentic pub with a history. Marcin and Kasia have huge knowledge and skills. You will find delicious drinks. Prices are a bit high but you are in the center of the main street of Zakopane.

Tucked away cozy family run bar, take a seat at the bar. Good music, watch them prepare cocktails with care.. we were pleasantly surprised. Great espresso martini after a heavy meal.

We went here unexpectedly but we enjoyed it. The kids enjoyed going around and exploring. The staff were nice and had good english but now looking at the recent reviews I think I missed some attractions which I'm bummed 😞. I do recommend.

The entry ticket is 35 zloti / adult. You can only pay by cash (no card accepted ). The museum is quite small and not so crowded. It is situated at the first floor of a shopping center. The staff is nice. It is mandatory to take off your shoes in order to visit it so make sure you have socks.

Cool cave, be careful going down into the cave, icy patches on de floor are barely visible. It was nice to have a flashlight, a phone lamp wouldnt do the place justice.

Hidden gem. It's a single path so ensure you make it before going to Sarnia Skała trip. The cave is not fully secured so descent is on your own risk. Take flashlights as it's dark inside. Fantastic air inside...

Not as spectacular as some of the paid national park walks, but non the less a lovely little valley with a cave at the end, good for short walks.

A real nice walk through the forest ending in a mysterious and beautiful cave. If you Love nature it Is certainly the right place for you. During the way you could buy fresh local cheese and enjoy it while walking the trail. From the starting point there are other trails to walk so it's a place all to discover!

Nice illusion park in the centre of Zakopane. It was a rainy day and lots of people inside, but didn't felt crowded. Lots of interesting things to do and places to take lots of pics. Highly recommended. They give you locker and have to place bags there, walkaround without shoes, with socks.

Awesome place to go with the kids. Tickets are quite cheap and time is not limited. There are two floors of illusion displays. We spent two hours in here. Kids loved it. Its not only illusions, its also associated with science. So really recommend, nice place.

There are plenty of opportunities to take really creative and fun photos, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. We spent around 2 hours exploring everything, which felt just right. One thing to keep in mind: it can get very crowded on rainy days, so if possible, plan your visit accordingly. Overall: A fun and photo‑friendly attraction that’s well worth a visit—just try to go when it’s less busy for the best experience.

This place is very interesting and fascinating for kids and adults✨️ I liked that personal stuff was helping to make good pictures. The most scaring was the wind cabine and lightning show🙈😅 and the most playful for my boy was a flying ball in air ⚽️🥰 Thankful and, of course, recommend🫶

It’s a very nice small zoo. The highlights of the visit were feeding the deer, sheep, and goats. All the animals seemed well cared for, with enough space to live and be active. The only downside was the bird cages the owls didn’t have as much space as they needed and were kept alone. Aside from that, it was a really nice experience, with a beautiful view of the mountains 🤩.

Went to the park following google recommendations and we were not disappointed! Staff does a great job there! Our 2.5 year old did not want to leave, we spent there 3 hours. Lectures which are provided at the park are super interesting and entertaining, even for adults. Place follows australian zoo model concept. Really cool. Beware, your kid may not want to leave;)

The zoo was really nice and peaceful. The place was very clean, both for the animals and for visitors. The animals looked healthy and happy. I just wonder if the owls are always kept in cages. if so, that’s sad. That’s the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5.

A beautiful trail along a mountain river. You have to climb quite a bit of rocks to get to the waterfall. If you are planning a trip with a stroller, you will only be able to cover half of the trail with it.

Nice walk with kids. Few places we had to carry buggy but getting to main picnic area is very manageable. Last part to waterfall not possible with buggy. Nice views of giewont along the way and at picnic area if clouds allow.

Wonderful easy hike for families and something more for adventurers :) There is usually a small place close to the waterfall, where you can buy warm tea/coffee and something small to eat. It's pricey but for a place without electricity 🔌 fully understable. It's worth to see.

Amazing trail in Tatra mountains, almost accessible by troller, only last couple of minutes to the waterfall need to carry our child on hands. Nice hut to buy snacks, beer and soup. We were family of five and had unforgettable experience!

We are now called intermediate seasoned walkers - having never been to Poland in my life and doing walk. It was fantastic, full of various terrains, wildlife, climate, change of weather, it’s a famous walk in Poland families, groups, young and old many people were doing this walk. There is a welcoming place for a break food toilet break in the middle before completing the walk. Come prepared with the right shoes, in my opinion walking sticks/poles are a must. I would do this walk again 100%

This place is pure magic at this time of year. The trail itself isn’t difficult, but it does get crowded – still, the final view more than makes up for it. In August, the blooming fireweed is a once-a-year spectacle, and it’s absolutely worth the trip. Unfortunately, the joy of being in nature is sometimes spoiled by irresponsible tourists stepping off the trail and damaging the plants. I spoke up a few times, but it really feels like the park could use a ranger here – and perhaps a few fines – to protect this beauty.

Very impressive place! Virgin forest with huge trees. Huge rocks, lite mountain river that for sure becomes very strong in spring. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The trail to the Five Polish Ponds Valley is definitely demanding – not for beginners or flip-flops 😅 – but absolutely worth the effort. The views at the top are breathtaking and incredibly rewarding. Crystal-clear water, dramatic mountain scenery, and a peaceful atmosphere once you’re there. One of the most beautiful places I’ve visited in the Tatra Mountains. Highly recommended if you’re ready for a proper hike!

One of the most beautiful valleys in the heart of Tatra's. The pristine lakes are breathtakingly beautiful and the experience of staying overnight at PTTK shelter was amazing. With a dedicated cafe and hot shower we were impressed by the prompt services it offered. Did a Circuit trek from Morskie Oko - Dolina Pięciu Stawów (Valley of Five lakes) - Wielka Siklawa (waterfall).

Beautiful and quite easy trek if you are fit. Really worthy. Be careful it can rain quite strong and becomes then a bit more difficult. Take a wet proof poncho even if the sun is shining when you start.

I visited here in August so the height of summer and the views are absolutely sensational. If you go to the top there is a view of all 3 lakes and it is genuinely 1 of the most stunning views I have ever seen. It's busy but much much less crowded than Morskie Oko and frankly it's more impressive. if you visit here during summer come to this part.

The Białego Valley (Dolina Białego) in Zakopane is one of my favorite spots in the Tatra Mountains, and I’ve been there many times. It’s a peaceful, scenic trail that runs alongside a clear mountain stream, creating a soothing, relaxing atmosphere throughout the entire walk. The sound of the rushing water is your constant companion, and it adds a calming background to the beautiful surroundings. Although it’s a relatively short and pleasant route, it’s not suitable for strollers—even lightweight or sporty ones. The path is narrow, with uneven rocky sections and wooden footbridges, which makes it impossible to push a pram. If you're visiting with a baby, like I did recently, you’ll definitely need a baby carrier. I used one on this trip, and it made the whole experience enjoyable and manageable. Despite the trail’s limitations in terms of accessibility, it remains one of the most charming valleys around Zakopane. It's never too crowded, and the feeling of walking close to nature, following the stream through the forested gorge, is truly special.

Gorgeous hiking trail to walk through, full of valleys, waterfalls, bridges and a river which you walk right next to. The trail leads right up to the mountain top, where you can sit on the benches and rest, while you look around.

The park is beautiful and the waterfall at the end is breathtaking. The views are outstanding. Well worth the park fee which is peanuts but but helps keep these locations thriving!

Perfect outdoor activity. Even with average weather, the views are amazing. Ensure you are equipped with good shoes as the path and landscape changes from plain to rocky to steep quite often. Even if you GPS tells you it's a quick stroll, plan a day as you might be too tired to do anything afterwards (else than eating). Start from Dolina Białego go to Sarna Skała then back to Zakopane through Dolina Strążyska... Unforgettable experience. Ensure your cameras and spare batteries are fully charged too :)

A very beautiful hike but beware - if you go too early in the summer (we went at the end of May when it was 21⁰C) you won't be able to get over the mountain to the lakes easily via the green or black routes. We were told this would be a very easy hike and it was wonderful to begin with (following the green route up to the lakes) but then we couldn't get over the mountains because it was covered in snow and ice. You should be advised this when entering the park. You need crampons and walking sticks ideally. We were very sad we couldn't make it to the lakes. We wish we'd known this route was inaccessible for the casual hiker.

A magical place. It's very beautiful, and even though it is already gorgeous on the pictures I recommend seeing it yourself. A great reward after a long hike, I wasn't even mad it started raining shortly after. The trails are all prepared veeeery well, and the hike is possible even with not so good weather. Absolute must see for all hikers. Highly recommend.

Well the path is little tough but they said it’s the biggest waterfalls in Poland. It’s a small one.. well worth spending time to enjoy the view alone the path.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised when they offered my daughter a blanket to keep warm as the evening got cooler. A thoughtful touch that added to the overall cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended!

10/10. We had 3 courses on a Monday evening in December. It was fairly quiet and the service from our waitress was superb. Food was too class and excellent value for money.

Happy to know there’s another place in Zakopane that serves amazing food - classic Polish dishes with a twist. Really lovely atmosphere, nice service, and a myriad of flavors to pick from. We had chicken broth with noodles and cream of beets with a splash of goat cheese to start with. Then we got lamb shank, pierogi with local cheese, and dumplings with lamb. Lamb shank was so tender and soft it was almost falling apart. Highly recommend it!

I would say traditional but made in some kind new style. And you just have to try their speciality: Spinach ice cream with some special tea!

Overall great experience. The negative part: we had the reservation and planned to arrive about 15 min in advance. Was locked outside and nobody answer our repeated phone call. That was a bit sad experience since it was cold and dark outside. The VIP beer spa I recommend. We have about 6 different beers to try and two bottles of Greek wine. It was very awesome. Bathtub is enough for two people to fit in, however the resting place is strangely on the other hand, very tiny.

Had a great time we went as 2 couples. The place is clean 👌 good value for money 💰 an hour slot is all you need to unwind. The Straw bed was interesting for us to have a rest if you get too hot 🔥

Had a great experience here. First of all, the place is very clean and organized. We chose the beer bath for two. You get a private room with a lovely atmosphere, and beers of course :) The staff are extremely professional and welcoming. Special thanks to Natalia for her lovely service!

Hello everyone. What can I say about this place. Not bad. Would not recommend to people who want to relax in silence. Because there was a possibility to bring a pet. We had 4 dogs on our floor. We had to listen to the dogs singing all the time. When we went out on the balcony the view was of mountains and dog shit. The whole garden was covered in dog shit. Very romantic... The spa had the maximum amount of chlorine. Can't stand more than 10 min. There were a lot of comments about that too. But I don't think anything will change. Next... And most importantly (SERVICE STAFF) Lots of questions about professionalism. Treatment of customers. Three ladies at the registration desk. All sitting on the phone. No respect. Ask questions can barely get a normal answer. The reservation was for a week. And the room was not cleaned. Just dropped clean towels on the bed. Also question about this attitude. On the website it says that they change the towels and bed cover min after 3 days. This was also not done. But thank you for the towels. We went to the Registration desk to ask for extra kitchen towels and a roll of toletes. I asked in English. P.S I understand and speak Polish. The girl at the desk laughed about it sharing the information with her colleague. I was shocked. The management needs to think about the people who work there. Too bad. They have to do everything to make people want to come back. But unfortunately... there is nothing more to say. I hope my comment will help others who want to take a room there.

Spa is a scam - 3 cold jacuzzis with so much chemicals it hurt my nose and eyes to stay there and 2 semi-warm saunas. No slippers or bathrobes available in the room. Breakfast was the worst one I've ever had anywhere and quite expensive too - you have to order the day before and you only get 3 choices (sweet, salty..) they then bring it in a box the next morning. On the last day they didn't even bring it as the catering was late... What a way to end a trip. TV in the room has no airplay.

The location and the view are amazing. For a short stay, the rooms and services were kinda acceptable. First timers need to be careful when visiting in summer since not all their rooms are air conditioned. Also, you need to be very careful when selecting your breakfast from the list of options offered. They mixed up once and we ended up having the wrong bf that they kindly changed after 2 hours, which was too late as we ordered bf from a delivery app and were on our way out. Some of the staff were nice, others weren’t really. However, check in and check out was smooth. As for the room services, you need to pay attention to that while booking. Our booking came with 2 complimentary cleaning services only. Although we enjoyed our stay, I don’t think I would consider booking here again.

Disappointing, but was ok. Hotel and rooms are nicely decorated but the service and attention to detail was poor. Staff weren’t rude, but many of them were not interested in helping. They didn’t really care about helping or serving guests, just a group of young girls chatting at reception. The spa looks nice, but doesn’t open until 12 and the sauna/jacuzzi are too cold. It’s an apartment so only cleaned twice in the week (which is fine, but they didn’t actually clean the room. Just changed towels which were rubbish) All the door handles in our room were falling off, basic maintenance being ignored despite the cleaner coming in twice and us reporting it. Would be a lovely hotel if it was better managed

Nice and clean, well equipped apartments. The breakfast is not worth its price, you can buy everything you need in a supermarket. The walls are very thin so you can hear every sound your neighbours make which you probably don’t want to.

Stay was ok! Just ok! We arrived at the hotel early, we asked the staff if we could check in early, they was uninterested, it’s like we had interrupted what they was looking at on their phones and keep in mind there no where to leave your bags incase you arrive early to the hotel!! Room was decorated nice and was clean when we arrived, beautiful views in the mountains. Door handle on front door and bathroom was hanging off but all in all nice room. Rooms are ‘cleaned’ this isn’t a full clean, just a bin change and fresh towels to the room. This isn’t a problem but don’t offer a room clean when this isn’t happening. The spa looked good and was nice and quiet each time we went, was very clean and tidy but the spa doesn’t open until midday which is a shame and the sauna isn’t particularly hot we had to ask for it to be turned up each time. It was a nice addition to be able to order drinks to the spa. Would be a much nicer stay if the hotel was managed better and it could definitely be better given some time and effort in the managing the hotel.

We booked a room on our recent trip to Zakopane, no issues with the room - it was comfortable and well heated. Loved the overall aesthetic of the hotel. However, the checkin was at 4pm which is unusual - the staff helped us get the room early but we did have to wait for quite some time at the lobby. Secondly, the hotel is located a bit inside from the Main Street and the roads are not maintained - there were a lot of potholes and we have to carry our luggage (couldn’t drag) and it’s almost 600-700m. It’s also not well lit at night so we used our phone flashlight. No complaints about the stay, but overall experience could’ve been better. The views were amazing, though.
