Museums
The Museum of Impressionism Giverny, located in the village of Giverny, is a small art museum that focuses on the history and significance of the Impressionist movement. It is open from March to November and offers collections and exhibitions dedicated to this influential artistic period. The museum provides insight into the importance of Impressionism for French and world art.
It's a wonderful place to visit. You'll definitely spend about two hours there, exploring the gardens and museum. It's definitely a great trip idea. However, the store prices were very high, which was very disappointing. I only managed to buy three postcards. Still, it was a wonderful experience.
Şimal D — Google review
Wonderful gardens, well worth a visit - however, immensely crowded, there is no limit to the number of people allowed in. Nearby are a few nice restaurants. Also the Museum of Impressionism (separate ticket). The line to enter Monet's house was too long, but we've seen it before. We prefer more time in the gardens, which in late May when we visited, were bursting with color.
Joel D — Google review
Nice museum, not a lot of Impressionism but mainly related artwork and contemporary influenced art. It’s worth the detour if you have the time. Don’t be sad to skip it. Best is the garden flower arrangements. The staff is friendly and helpful. The museum is often empty
B R — Google review
Great collection. Perfectly sized. It’s about an hour to go around all the pieces and take them in. Plus, you can go for a walk around the connected gardens. We bought an ice cream outside and went around the lawn, very pleasant.
Stuart M — Google review
It was really less than I expected. But it is a neat and good place for lovers of impressionist art. The staff was very professional and courteous. Overall, I recommend visiting and shopping at the museum store.
Mohammad K — Google review
Fantastic Air Conditioning! Clean bathrooms! Cute boutique. Modern building! Uhhh...the art is also interesting. They have lesser known American impressionists and contemporary art. But mostly, it's quiet, cool, and a respite from the hordes at Claude Monet's house down the block.
Olivia L — Google review
Even during a rainy day this place is a must-see for art / Monnet / impressionist lovers! It is a well-maintained garden in principle with a pond with a ‘Japanese bridge’ that only truly art-insensitive guest will not recognize…
Tomasz Ż — Google review
A little too many people. It is better to go on weekdays and buy tickets in advance otherwise you will stand in line for too long. It is better to come there in the morning

Restaurant Baudy, also known as Ancien Hôtel Baudy, is a historic establishment that was once a hub for artistic life in Giverny. This quaint hotel and restaurant served as a meeting place for French and American Impressionist painters during the Belle Epoque. The restaurant offers delicious French cuisine, with its signature dish being the 'omelette Baudy' filled with duck gizzard and potatoes.
Quintessentially French cafe restaurant with an incredible history catering for the impressionist painters surrounding Monet. Great plates and a good value set menu (which I had). Tasty rustic chicken liver pate and lovely roasted salmon fillet with truffle mash. Good desserts - mine a strawberry cup with basil infused syrup and ice cream, the wife having profiteroles. A popular restaurant in the village of Giverny just away from the house & gardens.
Bob H — Google review
Me and my friend picked this restaurant because it seemed like the best option near Claude Monet's house and garden to have a filling meal. We found the food to be subpar and not worth the price. Yes, we expected the restaurant to be overpriced because of its location, but we also expected the food to be better than what we got (flavor wise). Expect to pay around 30 eur for a drink and main dish.
N R — Google review
Stopped for lunch. Nice place to escape the crowds and re-charge. Good food, especially desserts.
Jay B — Google review
Food is average. Price is reasonable. It is said that Claude Monet and other artists used to eat here.
VMA S — Google review
This little place is charming... We stopped to rest and have a coffee in the afternoon. We sat outside just opposite the restaurant. This area was lovely with turquoise chairs, green trees all around and red umbrellas. The shade was really helpful on a warm day. We didn't eat but the dishes going past looked and smelled delicious. And here's a secret... Go out back and see the garden. A treasure of a place. Rambling paths going up the hill. A little cabin that is set up as an antique art studio. As an artist, I was completely smitten. It's a magical place.

Went to this restaurant after visiting Claude Monet’s house. They have many things on the menu to choose from. It’s a popular place but it’s walk in only at lunch time. There was no wait at 1 pm. The service was efficient. The my salad very tasty.
April P — Google review
Pleasant (joyful) staff, excellent food, recommended after visiting Giverny gardens Located in Giverny, in an old historic hotel, Hotel Baudy, which is apparently is because several American painters, and other famous French painters hung out there. The structure and character of the old building is still there. Little was changed as the kitchen is in a separate wing and the washrooms are across a gravel courtyard out back in an outbuilding. Across the street is a quaint, gravel courtyard under trees surrounded by hedges with small café tables. We ate there. The staff was very present, attentive, helpful and friendly and funny photo bombing us, cracking jokes and offering to take our pictures. The Grilled King Prawns in Garlic Butter were just that - six very large King prawns in shell pan seared in a parsley, garlic butter with a little pepper blend with extra butter sauce for dipping. A large serving of tender crisp haricot verts was on the side with mashed potatoes full of more garlic butter (no vampires anywhere!) and two succulent roasted yellow tomatoes. A very pleasing, tasty meal! Omelette Baudy was a large three egg omelette filled with duck confit and sauteed baby potatoes. Accompanied by a salad lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers) dressed in a house-made balsamic vinaigrette. Omelette and salad both very good! A delightful meal and experience.

Located in Giverny, the Église Sainte-Radegonde de Giverny is a 16th-century church that holds historical significance as it was attended by Claude Monet and serves as the burial place for him and his family. The white marble Monet family grave, topped by a cross, can be found behind the church. Inside, visitors can admire medieval ceiling paintings and simple yet beautiful modern-designed windows.
Beautiful church on the outskirts of Giverny. Nice to visit and see inside and the grave of Claude Monet
John S — Google review
A beautiful church where the monet family tomb sits just outside. The church itself is lovely, with some medieval ceiling painting . Music of momks chanting plays in the background adding atmosphere . The windows, although fairly modern in design are simple and beautiful. Outside there is also the tombs of 7 airmen who died in a lancaster crash in June 1944. The church is about 15 mins walk from monets garden and we'll signposted.
Kevin M — Google review
What a beautiful country church. It has such history. Walk around the outside and read about the WW2 pilots. Walk to the end of the Street past Monet's gardens to visit his peaceful and beautiful slice of French history.
Kristen — Google review
A short stroll from Monet's place is this cemetery and church. The cemetery is the resting place for Monet's family and for the British crew of a WWII bomber that crashed nearby. The church is small.

A beautiful Romanesque church in Giverny that although damaged in World War II and restored is quite interesting. The Monet family is buried in the adjacent cemetery as well as a British bomber crew shot down nearby during the war. Well worth the visit and just down the road from Monet's home.

Fondation Monet in Giverny is a must-visit for art enthusiasts and nature lovers. It encompasses Claude Monet's charming house, ornate gardens, and the artist's studio adorned with Japanese prints. The Musee des Impressionnismes Giverny, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, offers a romantic and surprising artistic journey. Visitors can explore exhibitions showcasing the museum's collections and American landscape artists' work during the French Impressionist period.
It was a beautiful visit! The lily pond in early October was not as stunning as in the summer time when I had first visited here. But it was probably less crowded. What an inspiring place! The town has certainly become more popular with visitors, though.
June J — Google review
I had wanted to visit Claude Monet's fabled gardens ever since I hung a print of his Japanese footbridge painting in my college apartment. When my husband and I planned our vacation in Paris, we decided to reserve a late morning bus tour that took us about ninety minutes west to Giverny where the houses still looked like cottages built in Monet's day (presumably by design). Judging by the packed parking lots, we thought we came at the peak time for group tours. The guide tried to reassure us that it was far more crowded over the summer, but at the end of August, believe me, it was bad enough. The worst part was not waiting in a lengthy queue to get through the security bag check. No, much worse were the clogged pathways in the gardens where we had to watch the same Instagram poses over and over again. However, amid the lack of crowd control was the floral beauty of the well tended gardens. There was enough of a rustic quality to the layout to avoid the overly manicured look found on more ornate palace grounds. The house was a nice surprise even though walking through it required acting like lemmings on a conveyor belt. Still, we were able to get a useful sense of Monet's daily life. The water lily pond and Japanese footbridge still exist though once again, the number of tourists posing repeatedly was overwhelming. We could barely recognize the grounds from the way that Monet depicted them in his work. Thank goodness for the Clean Up feature on my iPhone Photos app where I could erase people with ease. In hindsight, it might've made more sense for us to stay overnight in Giverny to avoid the full brunt of the crowds first thing in the morning. Regardless, a visit here any time is worthwhile if only just to appreciate Monet's visual genius.

Monet's house and Gardens were a must see on my trip to France. We were just there a few weeks ago (late September) and the gardens were lush and absolutely stunning. We had entry tickets at 12pm and didnt have to wait. It was a great time of year to visit, we got a mix of very colorful flowers, autumn changes starting but also a good amount of water lilies that had bloomed. Really stunning. We walked into the town of Giverny after walking through the house and gardens and it was such a quaint town. We stopped at the Giverny chocolat shop, very good! Highly recommend a stop in Giverny!
Trina H — Google review
Always wanted to visit and I wasn't disappointed. Even in mid October, the gardens are still beautiful with many flowers in bloom. The lily pond had a bit of scum on but still pretty. The house is lovely. So many original photos and paintings, though few of Monet's. Then of course there is the shop. Lots of lovely gifts and books. Plenty of free parking with free overnight campervan parking nearby.
Gillian — Google review
Visiting Claude Monet’s house has been my dream, and it finally came true. The place is truly stunning and incredibly captivating from a design perspective. Every detail is beautifully crafted, and the colors are chosen to perfection. The garden is well-kept and absolutely gorgeous, with the iconic lily pond I had always wanted to see - simply remarkable. The entire estate is so well maintained, and being there felt like touching something truly sublime.
Alina S — Google review
We stopped here on our way to Normandy from Paris and were amazed at all the blooming flowers in late September. Monet’s house was a quaint cottage with beautiful views of the gardens. The restaurant food was delicious and the server was wonderful. Highly recommend it!
Ellen A — Google review
I don't know where to start! The house is a piece of art the gardens are pieces of art, the whole town is cute! Absolutely beautiful. Things that should be considered, how to get there, the season, the crowd, so that you know what to expect,I've been there twice, in June it was super hot super crowded but beautiful, and in October , chill weather less crowded, less flowers but the trees were magical
Fatin A — Google review
Absolutely beautiful but very very crowded. The gardens are very easy to walk with wonderful displays of flowers. The lake is spectacular The house is easy to navigate and quite lovely we had approximately a 15 min queue to enter. I would advise you to buy tickets on line before hand the queues for tickets were massive. We got on line tickets so had no wait time. Parking is plentiful and free. There's a good choice of restaurants and cafes just outside the gardens they are quite pricey.

Le Jardin des Plumes is a stylish hotel located in a 1912 manor house, offering free Wi-Fi, sprawling gardens, and a fine-dining restaurant. The property has been completely taken over by David Gallienne since early 2020. The interior architecture of the neo-Norman villa perfectly complements the elegant yet unpretentious cuisine offered by the chef.
Le Jardin des Plumes is a true gem in Giverny. The setting feels like a dream — a charming Norman house surrounded by gardens — while the cuisine is pure artistry: seasonal, delicate, and full of flavor. The service is warm and refined, making every detail unforgettable. A must-visit for anyone seeking beauty, taste, and soul in one experience.

September 2025, My wife and I experienced our first Michelin Star Restaurant. We only stumbled across this amazing restaurant whilst walking the streets of Giverny after seeing Monet’s Garden earlier that day. We were lucky as we didn’t book and just walked in. This restaurant has set such a high standard to our holiday I feel know one will beat. The sommelier really knew her drinks and I had the best Syrah I’ve had in years. Their food (the chef easily accommodated my wife’s allergy) and service was just amazing and we will definitely return when we are in the area next. However I will book to ensure a seat as I’m sure they are usually fully booked!
Aphren C — Google review
The rooms, food and staff were all really excellent. In the evening we had the tasting menu at the restaurant on-site, which was delicious and beautifully presented. And we opted for breakfast which was delivered to the room. We weren’t sure what to expect with the breakfast, but it was fabulous and we ate it on the little patio set.

Dining at Le Jardin des Plumes was an absolute highlight of our trip. Every course was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The tasting menu flowed perfectly, with each dish thoughtfully balanced and paired with incredible local ingredients. It’s the kind of place where every detail, from the bread to the final bite of dessert, is done with care. A truly memorable experience! We’d return to Giverny just to eat here again!

Stupendous! A wonderful experience, it was one of the 2 best meals of my life. Artfully and beautifully presented, each course was exciting and delicious. Wonderful flavors, textures and surprising combinations made it a meal to savor.

A real gem! I arrived early, before my room was ready; my luggage was taken care of and delivered to my room at O'Plum Art. The room was absolutely lovely. The food and the service in the dining room of Le Jardin des Plumes was excellent. Location is perfect - within walking distance of the town and the Gardens.
JoAnn S — Google review
The hotel is very modern, spacious and comfortable with some delightfully querky elements. The bedroom and en suite were both of good size, however, it would be better to have a proper chair at the dressing table, and the ensuite lighting is far too dim. You have to open the wardrobe door to use that light to see what you are doing. Our hostess was absolutely charming and so, so helpful a real star. She made our stay at the hotel really special. The gormet dinner at the Jardins des Plumes was wonderful and spot on for my lady's birthday celebration. With champagne aperitifs in the lovely garden. I would recommend both the hotel and restaurant to anyone going to Giverny, and would stay there again myself.

Au Coin du Pain'tre is a charming café located in Giverny, offering a delightful break for visitors to the village. The café features a lovely shaded terrace overlooking Rue Claude Monet, providing an ideal spot to take a break and enjoy local specialties in an artistic ambiance inspired by Monet's heritage. Guests can expect friendly service and a simple yet welcoming atmosphere.
Giverny was lovely in its late summer bloom and gave us the experience we were hoping for! We had previously researched a casual dining spot for lunch and decided on Au Coin du Paint’re with its high reviews in the heart of the village of Giverny. The front outside dining area was rustic and charming, but we decided to eat inside as I was a bit chilled. The restaurant does not take reservations; when we arrived early, we had our choice of seating. During our lunch, the outside garden area filled quickly with other diners. Our burger, Croque Monsieur, beer and wine choices were delicious and exactly what we wanted! The other diners’ foods looked delicious too. A perfect way to close out our day in Giverny before returning on the shuttle to the Vernon train station.
John T — Google review
The atmosphere is very good; what's not to love in the beautiful village of Giverny? The terrace has a laid-back vibe. The service is mediocre; the waiter forgot the order a couple of times, and nobody seems really interested in the tourist masses. The food is mediocre for a French lunch. A big piece of bread with almost no camembert, and very soggy fries. And touristic prices €€€€€
Jan W — Google review
A really nice place. The bread was super soft! But I didn't really like the apple pie. But everything else was great.
Mari G — Google review
The €10 breakfast is very good. A large croissant/pain au chocolate, a hot drink and a panneau of bread. The croissant was one of the best I've had, and the bread was very good too. A very good, probably home made, strawberry jam topped it off. The tea was the only weak spot.
Owen G — Google review
If you get here before 10:30 AM, they have an excellent prefix breakfast. The quality of the bread and croissant was excellent. The tea was not served with hot enough water, and I had to ask for milk and sugar. That said the flavor was still good. The orange juice was also good. Service was acceptable, but not attentive or warm. They accept credit cards but the minimum purchase amount is €15

La Parenthèse is a charming restaurant located in Giverny, just a short walk from Claude Monet's home and gardens. The setting is filled with flowers and offers a friendly atmosphere for visitors to relax and enjoy home-cooked, seasonal cuisine. Despite some mixed reviews on specific dishes, the overall experience seems positive, with praise for the varied menu that includes options like burgers, fish, pork stew, and a vegetarian choice.
Very nice place with delicious French kitchen and a nice variety of cocktails. The stuff is super friendly. You can eat on this beautiful terrace and then enjoy the next round of cocktails in the sun on the sun-beds. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is located in a pleasant area with a welcoming atmosphere. However, the quality of the food did not meet expectations. The beef was significantly overcooked—served well-done and unfortunately too tough to enjoy. Additionally, the accompanying fries appeared to be of low quality, possibly over-fried or reheated multiple times, resulting in a dry and unappealing texture. Overall I do not recommend this restaurant.
Sili Q — Google review
Very nice terrace and overall atmosphere. Placement is also a little aside from the crowds at the museum. Food I was expecting to be top notch but was somehow good. The best from what we were served was the burata with peach sauce which was delicious. Aubergine parmigiana was good but could be better.
Buhnevici N — Google review
We got lunch after visiting Monets house. You would think since it is so close by that it would be a tourist trap and not great, but we really enjoyed it. For €50 we got onion soup (my favorite French Onion Soup from our entire time in France), stew, cheese, and beer. It was a lovely day outside on their patio. They did get busy, and I saw some people waiting to be seated when the staff got busy, but I thought the service overall was reasonable for the crowd.
Madeline B — Google review
We ordered two simple coffees at the counter because we had to continue our journey after visiting the house. In addition to a complete lack of empathy, we were also charged for two cover charges, even though we never sat down, as we had clearly asked to have them at the counter. In the end, we paid €5.40 for two basic coffees at the bar. When I jokingly said, “Oh, even the cover charges,” the girl just smiled without even reconsidering. Unfortunately, this kind of attitude towards tourists is counterproductive — both for them and for all the people who work hard and with dedication to keep the painter’s legacy alive.

Straight forward eatery with simple menu but open continuously throughout the day and sufficient choice for a good meal for everyone in our party. Friendly service and choice of inside or outside

The Nymphéas, located in Giverny, is a popular restaurant offering a unique culinary experience in a setting inspired by the world of Claude Monet. It is situated right across from the House and Gardens of Claude Monet, providing an idyllic view of the water garden.
Following the tour of the Monet gardens it was time for lunch. I enjoyed the vegetable quiche with salad. Their drink of the day was orange juice lemonade, with or without alcohol. If you wanted alcohol, they gave you a choice. Very refreshing and lunch was great! We loved our waitress, Eugenie.
Tracey N — Google review
This restaurant is located at the entrance of the Monet's garden so it's a place full of tourists. Most of the people there, including us, had less than an hour to grab a quick bite, so the quality of the visit can be spotty and hurried. We had a good experience there on our visit. The ham omelet was good, the accompanied green was fresh. The Monet's salad was full of seafood on top of a fresh heap of green. The basket of fries was hot and tasty. This was not haut cuisine, but for everyday food, this place did a decent job. They forgot to give us butter for our bread, but we enjoyed it anyway. It is a tad pricey for what it offers. But this is where tourists are more willing to pay a bit more, as they have limited options.
Credible C — Google review
We stopped here for lunch during our visit to Giverny and were pleasantly surprised by this charming French café-restaurant serving simple yet delicious fare. We ordered the chicken with tartar sauce, chicken nuggets with fries, and a Lorraine quiche accompanied by a side of fresh greens. Every dish was freshly prepared, served promptly, and arrived warm and flavorful. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options—indoor, outdoor, and shaded patio—with plenty of tables available. It’s a convenient and inviting stop, perfectly located for a meal before or after visiting the Monet mansion.
Sandeepa D — Google review
Filet mignon is made with cheap pork, extremely dry and barely warm when served. 28.5€ for that nonsense is not only a rip-off but a crime. The vegetable quiche is acceptable, but not good. You can find better quality at Walmart. The crème brûlée was good. Waitresses aren't friendly and may ignore you. Save your time, money, and energy. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place.
Alex E — Google review
Taste of coffee was bad. It was not worth to pay € 4 Also the staff asked me cash if i need to pay less than € 20 They did not tell me about information before I order

One of the best place to have lunch after visiting Monet's house; you are siting next to the garden feeling relax and well take care. Our waitress spoke English, she was very nice and pleasant to talk. Food came fast, big portions. It was absolutely great to stop by.

We have to say this meal is the most terrible meal for us. The lamb was very dry and seemed like they’d cooked it two days ago. The soup tasted like they forgot put salt in it. The worst part was hot chocolate. I never thought it was so difficult to make a normal hot chocolate!! I really regretted that I should’ve checked the comments before I went inside.

La Capucine in Giverny offers a unique self-service dining experience with high-quality, homemade traditional food at reasonable prices. The eatery is part of a wide selection of quality eateries in the area that prioritize working with local producers. It's an ideal spot for a quick bite before visiting Claude Monet's gardens and house, providing a tranquil setting despite being popular. Visitors can enjoy afternoon tea and delicious pastries while taking in the beautiful garden or browsing the souvenir shop.
Great plate of cheese and ham followed by a chocolate brownie. Country living in a great spot at a reasonable price. Very friendly service 👍

Coffee is tasty! Nice staff and patient with customers that speak little French

Sadly we arrived 3.35 p.m. so there was not even French fries to eat as a snack after all day walking around. The restroom were extremely dirty. To the point you could go. The ambiente is so adorable, but sadly nothing more. It could be an amazing experience, but was a total disaster

Stopped here in October in our way, of course, to the gardens. Really beautiful and relaxing place with great food. I just loved the relaxing vibe here.

When you want to see real Monet paintings, you must accept long queues and dito waiting times. In this very nice restaurant it is the same. But the food is very good and very French. Nice service and many people smiling.
Jos S — Google review
I came for afternoon tea. The tea tastes good. Apricot tarte tastes fine, but I beg to differ for the choux a la creme cause that's one of the best I've ever had. But the service is really slow, and the counter for patisserie doesn't have a cashier, so it's a hassle to make the payment. The garden is good to spend some time during in nice weather. They also have a souvenir shop. I bought the cider. There's one cider that is labeled as "medaille d'or" and the regular one with 3 euros difference on price. I asked the seller what's the difference between those two taste-wise, but she couldn't even explain. My friends agreed that the taste difference for both bottles is hardly noticeable and most likely the same tho there's 3 euros difference on price.

Perhaps I was lucky, but this worked really well for me. Food was fine, beer was excellent and people were nice. Surroundings were very enjoyable. I'm glad we stopped here for lunch

It was a quick bite to eat. Says table service but you ordered at the bar and then picked up your food. We ate in the bamboo forest and it was wonderful. The food was good.

Restaurant
La Guinguette de Giverny is a charming place where tradition and pleasure come together, offering visitors an authentic experience in a relaxed and festive atmosphere typical of French guinguettes. The restaurant serves traditional French cuisine in the beautiful, untouched landscape of Giverny. It's popular among locals and tourists alike, with a menu available in both French and English. The concept of sharing plates may be unfamiliar to some, but the delicious food makes it worth trying.
A beautiful location. Food was delicious. Not a million options…. A fish, vegetarian option and meat. But the fish was perfectly cooked. Appetizers of fresh eggs with homemade mayonnaise and roasted tomatoes with soft cheese drizzled with balsamic were so flavorful and satisfying. If you love flavorful, well prepared food, you will love it here.

I stopped by this restaurant before going to Monet garden. The atmosphere was great, the service was nice and friendly, and the food was exquisite ! I really want to come back here again.

We visited in September and it was perfect evening weather to sit outside. The restaurant was not too busy. We had fantastic service and we loved everything we ate.

This place was adorable and right outside the busy center of town so maybe not as crowded as places in the center of town. I didn’t get any pics, but the view was of a grassy field and I can envision being in the Renior painting, Luncheon of the Boating Party (but without the water)! I got the gazpacho and salmon tartar. My guests got steak frites. They ordered it medium but I think the chef only serves it medium rare, so be prepared! Everything was good.

a restaurant where you can hear the birds singing, while I am eating their delicious food of a reasonable price. Definitely a relaxing environment to enjoy while sitting and observing the water bank of the Seine river. A very convenient place to go after visiting the Giverny village where art galleries and famous house of Claude Monet is just across the street.
SensAbility C — Google review
The atmosphere was like countryside. Calming stream of water and cows. Traditionally setup by the owner used to be an artist. Salt sugar and spice cured salmon was the dish of the day and turn out to be exceptionally tasteful.

Good restaurant near the Maison de Monet Giverny. Food was delicious and staff was nice. Fish plate 21€, meat plate 25€, salade 15€

Gourmandises de Giverny is a charming tea room and shop offering delightful pastries, including the popular vert-vert and Tarte citron. While there's no longer a tea shop, visitors can still enjoy their treats to go or at nearby picnic tables. The shop also sells gifts, housewares, jams, and biscuits. With friendly staff and a serene garden setting, it's the perfect place to indulge in delicious coffee and irresistible desserts while exploring Giverny.
We stopped here for a quick coffee and dessert. The dessert was delicious, and the coffee was good. The person behind the counter was in a great mood and shared that energy with us. It really lifted our spirits after a long, tiring day.

Definitely worth walking five minutes from the Claude Monet Gardens. Lovely outdoor seating area and delicious food. The owner made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended

I didn't actually go inside as I was saving a table outside. Had a very tasty chicken baguette with loads of really fresh salad, a cold drink and a cake. 14 euros, but it was well worth it.

We happened upon this little restaurant because everything on Rue Claude Monet is SO EXPENSIVE! The shop is quaint, cute, and the food was amazing! The gentleman at the counter helped translate for us and shared stories about his time he's spent in the USA. They were all so kind and even made a great recommendation for which pastries to get after our meal. I look forward to getting back to Giverny some day and eating at this cafe. Wonderful experience with the classic French feel.

We ordered 2 salads and 1 sandwich, there was a young male staff member with a man bun who poured half a bottle of french mustard on my salad when I specifically asked for just a drop, I ended up vomiting, the Sandwich we asked for no sauce, however he took a dirty knife covered in sauce and sliced it, when we told him he scoffed loudly and said something in french, he then proceeded to remake our sandwich but picked up a loaf of bread from the bin, when we noticed we instructed him to make It with fresh bread, we eventually did get the correct sandwich without sauce but it took over 30mins, would not recommend,

Great place for a quick bite. We sat outside to people watch but indoor seating is available too. Clean bathroom. Friendly quick staff. A French version of Subway.

Small, quaint tea room selling delicious coffee and irresistible desserts. Tried the vert-vert, Tarte citron and Framboise. They were all delicious and would recommend. The little shop also sells jams, Madeline's etc. Staff are friendly too.

Beautiful place with the most friendly staff. The garden is quiet and comfortable to make a stop in your day in Giverny. I had the Rose pastry and a cup of earl Grey tea and everything was delicious!
