Nestled atop the stylish Hotel Duval, Level 8 Lounge is a chic rooftop destination that offers an unforgettable experience in downtown Tallahassee. With its stunning panoramic views of the skyline, this sophisticated lounge invites guests to unwind with a delightful selection of tapas and handcrafted cocktails. The vibrant atmosphere is enhanced by live music several nights a week, making it the perfect spot for socializing or celebrating special occasions.
Really nice rooftop bar with lots of seating. Heaters outside and good cocktails. A little on the pricey side for drinks, but happy hour is good. Pretty nice view of town as well. I'd come back.

Very nice roof top bar that was not crowded when we went early. Very good Bourbon selection. Service was fantastic!
Robert V — Google review
Food was amazing! We ordered the bacon sliders burger along with the chicken buffalo dip. Service was great, the view was breathtaking. We saw the sunset. We ordered some drinks! 🌅 If you are planing a night out, this is the place to be.

The food and the atmosphere was wonderful. The staff did an amazing job at making sure we enjoy our service!

Really nice atmosphere. The wings were nice. Drinks were really good. Met some friends there to catch up and watch a little football while enjoying some adult beverages. So, it's a perfect place to hang out and socialize.
Daniel H — Google review
Service was bad. Female bartender didn’t smile once at anyone including me. Wasn’t greeted at all really just pointed at. Food was OK. Took 30 minutes for a burger. Wasn’t aware that there was no kitchen on the top floor. They had to run food up eight levels. Food was uncovered while being run all that way. Over priced for what it is. Atmosphere was ok. Nice place to watch the sunset. I wouldn’t recommend at all due to prices and terrible service. Once and done for me.
Colton G — Google review
Great views but slow service. We ordered one round of drinks with water and it took several attempts to get the water delivered to our table. We would have ordered more drinks but the service was way to slow. I wish the attention to the guest was as awesome as the views. I will try one more time when I’m back in town for a FSU game.

Amber she's super cute.. I'll definitely come back and HOPEFULLY I get to see her again!! She is great.. I told her I will leave her a feedback and this is exactly what I'm doing.. She is very nice, polite, fast and and a beautiful smile. She always asked me how my food was, how your drink's.. I understand she's doing her job.. Overall, I'll definitely be back before my academy is done and over with and I go back to county which I serve.. But I hope she see's this and I'll be back with some Leo friends..

Tallahassee is a hub for craft beer, and Proof Brewing Company is at the heart of it all. Their EightFive-O and Mango Wit are popular choices available in cans and on tap throughout the city. The brewery's spacious taproom & biergarden offers a great setting to enjoy these brews. What sets this place apart is its family-friendly environment, with an outdoor area designed for kids to play while parents relax with a cold beer.
I recently visited the Proof Brewery at 1320 S Monroe St, in Tallahassee, FL. I had a nice experience at this brewery. It's a large interior space with plenty of seating. I got there early and was able to have a nice talk with the bartender. A very nice place to enjoy on of their varieties of beer.
Greg K — Google review
Very nice brewery. Great beer and the food was really tasty. I don't get to Tallahassee much but I will be back if I do come back. Highly recommended!
Bryan H — Google review
Great family atmosphere. Excellent beer. But the buffalo chicken sandwich gave me a stomach ache. Everything else was very very good. This is a go to if you like weird sour beers

First time ever coming here (12/9) at 3:00pm and This place is amazing!! The House Margarita here is by far the best Marg I’ve ever had!! Ample beer selection, very friendly atmosphere, dog friendly, kid friendly, great food! All around great place to come chill have a couple beers (margaritas)!! we will Definitely will be coming back here!
Delaney C — Google review
We had an out of town family get together at Proof yesterday. While the chicken buffalo wrap was a 7/10 it was the bartenders attitude towards my relative asking if they carry any NA brews that was downright rude. Saying why would they carry those, and flaty laughing about it making for a awkward conversation. Thats fine, better be glad I wasn't there hear this as I would have certainly served a lesson on manners. Definitely not going here again.
Eric P — Google review
First time here. Place is spacious with a nice bar and a great outdoor beer patio with lots of sitting. They have a nice variety of on draft beers. We decided to get a flight and all beers came out great, so refreshing.
Leidi C — Google review
My new favorite brewery! Great selection of beers, I was able to get two different flights and I still didn't try them all. My favorite was the Ukrainian imperial stout. They were very busy but service was quick.
James G — Google review
A great little beer garden with a huge selection of beers. There are some surprisingly tasty beers offered here! It's nice to see some brews that nail the fruity touches that other beers try to get. The garden is nice, it has plenty of seating, but I can see how it could get full on a busy weekend. There is a ping pong table, giant connect 4, and the sack throwing game. All the staff that we interacted with from start to finish were lovely and very helpful.

Cocktail bar
Nestled atop the AC Hotel Tallahassee Universities at the Capitol, Charlie Park is a chic rooftop bar that promises an unforgettable experience. With its stylish indoor lounges and breathtaking terrace views of Cascades Park, this venue is perfect for any occasion. Indulge in their signature cocktail, the "Lush Slush," a refreshing blend of Tito's Vodka and tropical flavors like passionfruit and guava.
We did not eat at Charlie park, but it was fun to get dressed up and go out for a proper cocktail. Their drinks aren't bad, and they have a nice view. The vibe is upper class with very cool music and couches to chill outside. It gets quite busy so make a reservation if you can. Our waiter was beyond friendy and helpful. He was fast and efficient even though we changed our drink orders. This is a good spot for bachelorettes and bachelors, for outings with friends and family, and even dates. We are really glad we came!
Nicola M — Google review
We went to Charlie Park for our anniversary. We found a parking space easily. Once we exited the elevator, we were greeted promptly by our host Emma. She was very pleasant and professional. We were a little early for our reservation, so we grabbed a drink. Tyler and Lawrence we working behind the bar. We got a cocktail (the rum one hehe) that was delicious. Once seated, Daniel greeted us and gave a few suggestions for us to consider. The lamb lolly’s were an excellent appetizer. For our main dishes, we got the lobster roll and the ribeye. Both were great, with the ribeye having a slight lead. We were going to get dessert, but had filled ourselves up. Haha. Daniel had the entire outside and he was kicking butt. To assist Daniel, Mia was bringing out our dishes to the table hot. Sam was holding all of it together. It was a great team effort. Kudos to Stacy, Chris and all of the above mentioned people. Kudos indeed!!
Jay W — Google review
In I recently dined at Charlie Park and had an incredible experience! The Curry Pork Osso Buco was a standout dish, perfectly tender and bursting with flavor. The Mushroom Wellington was equally impressive, offering a delightful combination of textures and tastes. To top it all off, the desserts were simply divine—each one was a sweet masterpiece. The ambiance was inviting, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Charlie Park for anyone looking for a memorable culinary experience! Five stars all the way!
Pyzark — Google review
Diego our server was spectacular! He provided phenomenal, suggestions and guidance based on truly listening to what I like. Craft cocktails are excellent. Espresso martinis are a no go for Someone looking for true espresso in the martini so I opted for one of their Other seasonal cocktails. I was impressed with the Wagyu beef shareable plate. Not all Wagyu Is good. They did a great job. Every dish was beautifully presented full of flavor and evenly balanced. It was terribly loud inside and outside thus the reason for the 4 stars on the atmosphere But it’s hard to see if that would be something The staffer management could have any control over. Overall, an excellent experience. Highly recommended even for the most discriminating.

Everything was PER-FECT!!! ✨ an experience one of a kind. We had brunch to celebrate my friend’s grad pics and it was amazing 💖 Very pretty plating and everything was so so yummy. We recommend the Prosciutto Toast, the French Toast and the Burger a la Charlie. Our server Gavin was very attentive and professional with us. He also spoke Spanish that was very helpful to understand the menu. The manager also accommodated our requests and checked on us at the end of the brunch. The personnel is very professional and friendly! Would a 1000% recommend for regular and special occasions! ✨
Sofia O — Google review
The blackberry cheese toast is an absolute must-have—sweet, tangy, and perfectly balanced. I’d come back just for that. The Snow Sour cocktail was also excellent! The lush slush was way too sweet. The curry pork was decent. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re into creative small plates and craft cocktails.
Brenda V — Google review
Had an incredible experience at Charlie Park! The vibes were immaculateamazing views, great music, and honestly one of the most attractive and well-dressed crowds I’ve seen in a while. Huge shoutout to my guy Ethan behind the bar his service is next-level. Super attentive, on point with conversation, and had the entire bar under control with ease. You can tell he sets the tone for the whole atmosphere. Never had to ask twice for anything. If you’re looking for elevated service and a rooftop spot that delivers across the board, this is it. Charlie Park doesn’t miss. Thank you ethan!! Thank you charlie!!!
Joshua L — Google review
I saw a waiter who is approximately 6'3 245 lbs at Charlie Park, I've been coming since the oysters were on the menu (bring them back please!) After asking the waiter if he remembers me he says "no". He was at Palace last night after 12 am and was harrasing me because I was wearing a Miami Dolphins Dan Marino football jersey. The waiter was harrasing me last night. As I was eating the Curry Pork Ossi Buco (delicious) I notice the waiter. I told the manager Sam I felt unsafe with him here and I was helped by Bartender Preston. I asked the manager at least twice the name of the waiter but she was visibly irriatted when she had already provided her name and I told her I would write a review and she decided not to give me the waiters name. Nonetheless, she didn't give me his name. I was sick to my stomach because of the service from her. I decided to pay $87.48 and gave a $10 tip (not much sorry Preston). I told them to just give me the to-go for my family now so I can leave the premises myself since my request for the waiter to not be there was declined by the staff. In essence, I love Charlie Park, but I will not be dining in while he is at work due to this. Thank you all love - J

Restaurant
Bar 1903 is a hidden gem that invites you to step back in time while enjoying an exceptional cocktail experience. Nestled in the historic Walker Library, which has stood for over a century, this intimate bar features just 36 seats, ensuring a cozy atmosphere perfect for romantic evenings or special celebrations. The extensive cocktail menu spans 160 years of history, showcasing unique recipes from various eras including pre-1880 classics and Prohibition favorites.
Awesome bar that is actually an experience. Serving classic, famous cocktails categorized by eras. Cocktails are delicious. Bartender friendly and knowledgeable.
Kenny S — Google review
Omg how fantastic. We waited 15 minutes for a place at the bar. We were so lucky because we got to watch all the drinks being made. I had a bloody mary, which wasnt on the menu yet, that had pickle and garlic infused vodka. That was so enjoyable. That was a delicious pickled okra on top. Oooooooooo yum.
Jason P — Google review
An old library building from the 1900’s and with lots of history. It is a historic land mark and you can tell by the outside and some of the indoor atmosphere. It is a place with limited amount of seating, so reserving or going early is advisable. Has so much charm. The food is good, the drinks amazing. Not a place to read a book contrary to the name outdoor on the sign and the amount of books spread around. It gets noisy from the activity. Great place to impress someone or a first date.

Absolutely one the coolest boutique cocktail bars I’ve been in Friendly and PRO bartenders. Simply perfect experience.

Atmospheric and have some absolute wildcard drinks (see below, eggplant syrup!), incredible minds behind that wooden bar
Tomas V — Google review
I love to spend time this old library/new bar😍 I think, here is the best elite bar in the town!! There is not much food options. However, they have a quite extensive beverage menu which is amazing. Especially, the organization of the menu! I mean you are able to see what year and the glass type of the drink👌 I ordered TOFU sandwiches. Even though I like Asian cuisine, it was not to my taste. For the first time, I tried PİSCO/Grappa and loved it! 🍸 although it includes egg white 🫨and of course, HURRICANE and BLUE HAWAİİ ✨ 🍹
Senart — Google review
They don’t staff this place well. I always enjoy my drinks and food, but they have big city prices with small town service. Tables do not get bussed, waters don’t get refreshed, ordering is more like begging because the servers are stretched too thin, drinks take 15 minutes because theres one bartender making intricate drinks for a room of 40 people. Once again great food and drinks but the lack in service quality makes bitter the yummy flavors.
Dylan M — Google review

Bullwinkle's Saloon, located in Tallahassee, FL, has been a popular spot since 1979 and is known for its high-energy atmosphere. The saloon features daily drink specials and hosts DJs and live bands to keep the crowd entertained. Its old-school saloon-style interior creates a relaxed vibe that attracts both students and alumni from the nearby campus.
Love this place always a blast especially on Thursdays! Bartenders amazing!. Music always a vibe except that one dj who just plays country and nothing else, they know who they are. One down side is the smoke machine, im always down for cool effects but yall need to chill with it lol. I know theres an outside but walking in with Smoke blown in your face for a good 6 seconds and its constantly going off while your waiting for your drink, it leaves me walking out with a sore and raspy throat😂 almost everytime.. Overall amazing place ill take that risk because its always a good time.

I’m frequent bulls quite often and absolutely love their staff however Olivia is so insufferable. Standing at the bar with my friends and is yelling at us that we’re wasting her time and she now needs to explain to us that we all need to be at the bar to get drinks. If you just made the drinks we would save sooo much time Olivia! refusing to give us our drinks because “we’re not all at the bar” hello???? Realized and was also buying a boat and THEN decided to serve us

Rudest staff I've ever encountered. I attempted to enter with a valid, state issued ID. Imagine my shock when the girl working the door said my ID is fake, and she's going to keep it! She wouldn't give back MY OWN ID, and I had a nice little game of tug-of-war to get it back in my hands. She said she can call the manager over and she did. She scanned my ID and the system shows, it was a valid REAL ID. Never coming back here.

I’ve never been happier than I am at bulls. And I’m not embarrassed to say that. Therapy is hundreds of dollars each week—but a moose membership is only $40 each month. Dishes I highly recommend: the blueberry muffin (shots) and key lime pie (shots). It’s the most fun I’ve ever had and the most well run bar (even when it’s crazy busy on Thursdays!!!) love you all 🫶
Mary M — Google review

finally decided to check out bull’s with high hopes, as friends praise this place and go to AYCD thursdays every week. my partner and i, after waiting for half an hour in line, spent two hours at this establishment, only receiving a drink after 1 hour of waiting. we politely held our cups and watched as bartenders served those around us, and served those who came after us. a particular bartender on the rooftop served people who held their wet, dripping cups above my head and around me, as if i was nonexistent in their periphery. in addition to this, during our hour wait at the bar, one of the managers (wearing a shirt with “manager” on it lol) was present for its entirety. it felt as if staff were encouraged & trained to behave this way towards patrons. moreover, apparently there are around 12 bartenders staffed at a time, but it did not seem like there were even 6 (as busy as graduation weekend is). it felt as if we were wasting our time, and do not believe we will be returning to this establishment. however, i’m certain that other people have had much better experiences than us.

Eve on Adams is a rooftop restaurant located on the 17th floor above the DoubleTree in Tallahassee. It offers stunning views of the city skyline, making it a perfect spot to enjoy drinks and bites while watching the sunset or witnessing downtown Tallahassee light up after dark. The venue also hosts rooftop brunches with delicious plates, crafted cocktails, and live music. Reservations are required for balcony seating during these events.
My husband and I had drinks and food on the balcony at Eve on Adams. The service was friendly and excellent. The seared tuna appetizer was excellent. The Hendricks dirty martini and Cristalino tequila were excellent. The prices were reasonable. The view and atmosphere romantic.

My fiance and I decided to have dinner here while visiting the area and it was the best food we had all weekend!! I had the ribeye which was cooked to perfection and the Gorgonzola butter was to die for! My fiance had the salmon with crab cake and he loved it! He also had the Electric Lemonade cocktail which was beautiful and so delicious! To end the night we had table side banana foster and let me tell you we couldn’t have ended with a better desert! Aside from the beautiful views and delicious food, every employee we spoke with was wonderful! Definitely recommend visiting this spot if you ever get the chance!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The MOST amazing place that I’ve eaten in Tallahassee. Reminds me of restaurants in NYC and DC. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious! The atmosphere and the view was incredible. The drinks were perfection. The prices were reasonable for everything that you got! I wish I had taken pictures of the food because it was plated so beautifully!! We are early so it wasn’t busy and the entire staff made us feel like royalty! Especially our sweet waiter, I only wish I could remember his name. It was my daughter’s 21st birthday so after celebrating at Westcott the night before, it was an elegant, classy way to end her day! We will return
Carla K — Google review
We went there for an anniversary dinner. The food was really good. My husband went on and on about how his 8 oz sirloin was cooked to perfection. It was even good the next day as leftovers. The atmosphere/view was really nice. We had a reserved table. Eddie was our server and he was wonderful. Very kind, knowledgeable and attentive. Would definitely go again.

Amazing restaurant! Went here for an anniversary dinner and they made the experience a 10/10. The food was delicious and platted so beautifully. The drinks were great as well. The views and atmosphere were perfect. The service was impeccable. Our waitress Gabby was on top of everything. We will definitely be going back!

I came to visit my brother for university and the experience that we received from the staff was phenomenal. Our server, Eddie was not only attentive and efficient with his work, but he was also very personable and charismatic. Furthermore, the food was decadent and is something that I would recommend for any high-end visits or date nights. Their drinks are also reasonable for their price and quality. If you are looking for an experience to remember on a trip to Tallahassee with your friends and family, this is where I would highly recommend for a dinner night.

Got to go for the first time to Eve on Adam’s rooftop restaurant we dinned inside. We celebrated my friends birthday. Well let me mention that the whole staff signed a birthday card and they put it on the table. What restaurant does that? She also had the option to get a free drink or dessert on the house. She chose dessert. We want to rate this place five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent customer service. We even had the honor to meet the chef he is such a nice person. I highly recommend that you celebrate your birthday there.

The outdoor patio adds to its laid-back beach club vibe, while still competing with larger clubs in the city.

I went to Potbelly's for a Marauda show. I was not disappointed. I love the way the place is set up! It felt like being at a festival! The vibes from everyone was great and we had a ton of fun! Only downside is the drinks have next to no alcohol in them, especially the big cup which is $10. I literally watched one bartender pour the alcohol outside the cup and try to give it to someone and they complained about there being nothing in the cup. I get it's quantity over quality when it's super crowded but people are paying for alcohol and getting a tiny splash with 99% soda. 👎

Potbellys is a great venue in Tally for all 18 and up! We have attended multiple times and for parent's weekend booked a VIP table. So worth it!!! I recommend if you have a group of 8 or more for sure. Service was amazing and high energy. This is a college bar so if you are expecting calm and quiet...not for you. Go and enjoy the atmosphere and experience the college life with your students. A great time will be had. They have live entertainment regularly so check the calendar. Shout out to C & A who helped work with me on the VIP table. Excellent follow up and we were so glad we did it.

I visited this venue on Friday night, 1/14/2025. I arrived at around 1:00AM, just wanted to check the place out. They were to close at 2:00AM. The girl at the door charged me a $15 cover fee. Yet, she charged people behind me a cheaper cover. By the look in her face, I can tell this is not her first time doing so. That is a tricky game to play. She never knows who she is charging at the door, or who they know. Chill venue, just too young of a crowd for my taste, but music is good. Seems like a college vibe. Bartenders were very attentive and fast. Drinks were normal, low quality. To the owner please assure your staff charges everyone the same/fair cover, it's only right and avoids a lawsuit.

In the heart of Tallahassee, where the sun shines so bright, There's a place called Potbelly's, a true delight. With every sip of their drinks, my heart starts to soar, But it’s Albert beside me that I truly adore. His laughter's like music, a sweet, soothing sound, In his warm embrace, my happiness is found. We share all our moments, both big and small, With him and Potbelly's, I feel like I have it all. So here’s to the joy, the love, and the fun, To Albert and Potbelly's, where our hearts have begun. In this lovely Tallahassee, my heart's forever true, For it’s love that I treasure, and it all starts with drew.

I live a full BLOCK away from here, yet their music is so absurdly loud, it is able to make my windows shake. I can’t ever get sleep with it playing late at night, even past midnight.

Do not order Tito’s Vodka here! One shot is $18! The bottle of beer charge varies from $5-7 per bottle of the same beer! I’m not even a college student and I was totally taken advantage of!

We had pre purchased tickets yet we were kept over two hours in the line. Most of us resorted to leaving for pizza instead. Total scam and inefficient crowd control.

Clydes & Costello's is a beloved bar located in the vibrant downtown area of Tallahassee, making it a staple for college students and locals alike. Known for its lively atmosphere, this classic college bar truly comes alive during Friday Happy Hours when crowds often spill out onto Adams Street. However, if you're looking for a more laid-back experience, visiting during quieter times can be just as enjoyable.
I used to despise Clyde's but after having some great nights I don't remember, it is now one of my favorite places to go. The beerpong tourneys are fun and the two floors make for an interesting change in vibe.

Its a fun place, but never buy drinks here. They will tell you a drink is one price, charge you twice that, then refuse to refund you. This isn't just me saying this either, they systematically tell their staff to do this to increase profits. Its still usually a good time though, just be wary. If you do buy drinks, use cash and exact bills

They charged $30 for a jack and coke and said it was that much because it came in a big cup. I never asked for this “big cup” normal size big cup

We hosted our TGI Friday's Christmas Party here. It was fun and crazy as usual. Had good drinks and a decent environment. Tbh not much to say about this place since it wasn't it's normal seen. We bought out the bar for our party so it wasn't what I'm sure it usually is there.

The bartenders charge whatever they want. I bought 4 beers and each time the beer was a different price. It was originally 4 dollars. The next beer was 5 dollars. The next beer was 6 dollars and the last beer the guy told me there was a 10 dollar minimum and double charged me. Really unfriendly staff. Complete idiots behind the bar. Definitely won’t be back.

Idk what's worse, the bartenders serving the wrong drinks or the A/C being out 90% of the time. Even looking back with rose-tinted glasses this place was not the best haha.

Guests can enjoy a new happy hour with refreshing cocktails like the "Coppa D'Italia" and indulge in a unique bar top exclusive burger made with a 6-ounce house ground patty inside a house-baked pretzel roll.
Great atmosphere and great vibe! Met a customer for a drink while on a business trip for a drink and then stayed for dinner with my family. We split a few entrees and everything was delicious. They got the baked Alaskan dessert and I opted for the cannoli. I recommend this place!

I was so solo, so I sat the bar, the three gentlemen working behind the bar were all excellent and worked fantastic as a team. Stephen helped me the most picking out perfect bourbon and making the best old-fashioned I’ve ever had. I also had the best octopus appetizer I’ve ever had and the best squid seafood pasta I’ve ever had. All the pastas are made in house. They helped me pair my pasta with a beautiful Tenuta Italian wine. Everybody sitting around me was friendly and happy and the place had a really nice vibe. Anytime I’m in Tallahassee will definitely come back here.

Atmosphere is upscale & quiet. The waitstaff was terrific! The food was good. The food (minimal portions & everything is a-la-carte) was delicious but for the price you pay you could feed your family for the week. FYI: You order a steak and literally you get a steak w/a sprig of rosemary for decor. Not even a smear of anything under the steak, not designer veggie……. Just a steak for &45.00-100.00 depending on steak choice. Any sides are additional ($10.00+ each). The sides for pasta $15.00+ is smaller than most places appetizers. So my take is “Know before you go”. You know it’s an upscale “aka” expensive place to eat and be prepared to pay a lot for very little food. The food is great….but you will leave hungry unless you spend more than you anticipated. Keep in mind my husband and I are not big eaters. Staff was amazing. They were well Informed and helpful. Advisement: rsvp and business casual at least is the attire.(no flip -flops, beach wear, or similar attire) Attached images $17.00 side of Butternut Ravioli.

While visiting the Capitol for some meetings we had an amazing night out at IL Lusso. Stephen and Eli were our primary servers and both did an excellent job catering to our every need. We started with the grilled octopus. After recently having it in Greece we were hopeful it would live up to that experience. It did. It was cooked to perfection! Notice the size of the sides. We mistakenly ordered three sides for two people. We were not prepared for the amount of food they brought! We enjoyed a great steak and Zucchini pasta for our main course. We capped off the night with their seasonal cheesecake special. If you are celebrating something special or looking for a high quality meal make sure to give them a try.

The red snapper piccata was cooked to perfection, we also tried the wagyu which had a great medium cook as recommended by the server. Top 5 in Tallahassee restaurant wise definitely recommend.

Thank you Il Lusso it was so awesome!

Joshua and others gave us great friendly service. I LOVED watching my wife having a near "Harry met Sally" reaction to EVERY piece of food she ate...bread, butternut squash soup, fish, mushrooms. My chicken was tender but too salty... but had great grilled veggies. I'd would have loved half the chicken and twice the seasonal veggies. Need more veggies options. Thanks!

Liberty Bar and Restaurant is a popular hangout in Tallahassee, known for its elevated pub fare, unique bespoke cocktails, and craft draft beer. It has garnered positive reviews and has become one of the busiest brunch spots in the area. The menu offers a variety of options from breakfast favorites to hearty omelets and refreshing salads.
We went to Liberty for brunch. The food was amazing. We had the soft shell crab eggs Benedict and the mushroom risotto Benedict. Both were delicious. Coffee was good. Mimosas were mostly juice and not a lot of champagne, but overall a great brunch. Would definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful experience here but I must stick with 4 Stars. Staff manager was new but did a wonderful job. I felt the waiter was new also, so I prob just need to come back when they have a little more staff. I had excellent service and the food came out as ordered and timely. I do not like paying $13 for a shot of liquor from a $55 bottle but it is what it is. I did enjoy the house special for happy hour the House Old Fashioned Bourbon is nice. I really, really enjoyed the mussels and menu set-up. I designed the chandelier they have but did not put it on paper, it’s a Blanton’s bottle Chandelier and I love it!

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here, and loved the food & service. I had the steak frites, and loved everything about it, from the way my steak was cooked, to the saltiness of the fries, to the dressed greens salad to their homemade steak sauce. I couldn't even eat all the fries and salad, but I made sure to finish that steak! Hubby got the fish & chips, which he craves all the time but almost never actually gets to satisfy that craving, and he absolutely loved it and ate every single bite!

Not sure where to start here, but let's go here... Server, super pleasant and management accommodating. We left the parking lot because we couldn't find the restaurant, came back when we found it from across the street looking for an alternative eatery. Did wait.over 45 minutes for food (kitchen at fault for that) Wine was on point. Hubby ordered a makeshift mcrib (embarrassing lol) but he liked it. See pics. Rescue! They made my daughter a specialty drink off menu and she appreciates that as a of age, non drinker. Awaiting dessert.

Liberty is absolutely delicious! We love their seasonal drinks, and they always have a great selection of beers on tap. We love to share the loaded fries, but my favorite is the steak fries. Everything I have eaten there is amazing, and I would highly recommend. The staff is super friendly, and we love sitting at the bar to eat.

This place was unbelievable. Connor our server went above and beyond. We had the scotch egg which was one of the nicest I’ve had (and I lived in Scotland!), the chicken French toast was 14/10 and the steak and eggs were a must. The bloody Mary’s were perfectly spiced. Everything was perfect and can’t wait to go back.

Stumbled upon this restaurant and so glad we did. We were in Tallahassee for family weekend and everything was packed. We accidentally found this restaurant and it was PHENOMENAL. Best food the whole weekend. We sat on the patio. It was so relaxing and quiet. Our server was excellent. It was late and we had to order by 10pm. We ordered apps, dinner and desserts all at once. It was still brought out spaced nicely in between. 100% an exceptional experience. There were 3 of us, for apps we had scottish eggs, pork belly, and the warm potato salad. Dinner was 2 steak frites and one pan seared snapper. Dessert was the chocolate custard w/ raspberry whipped cream and blueberry almond pound cake. The steak frites came with a homemade steak sauce. Fries were perfect. It was OUTSTANDING! Every single item! I can’t rave about it enough. We will definitely be back when we come to FSU to visit. Even the water was delicious. The other restaurants we ate it I had to bring my own as it tasted terrible. This restaurant is TOP NOTCH. Wish I remembered our server’s name. He was awesome. 10/10 🙌🏼

Atmosphere was good, service was slow but all the employees were extremely nice. Started off with cocktails🍹 which was really good. Ordered food which was slow to come out. The fish was really good, the burger lacked flavor (under seasoned) and the fries were few and they were cold. the steak was cooked but the portion was small for the price and covered with to many greens and only a few fries. Overall I would go for the drinks and not the food.

The Brass Tap is a lively pub that offers a wide variety of beer options, wine, and live music. It's the perfect spot for craft beer enthusiasts to explore new flavors like the cocoa blended milk porter or mango infused wheat beer. You can also indulge in classic foods such as Sam Adams beer cheese dip with salted pretzels.
I’m visiting Tallahassee. I didn’t know what to do, so I came to the brass tap. Macy was my bartender, and she was so welcoming and attentive. I’ve been to many bars across the country, and I can honestly say Macy was one of the best bar tenders I’ve ever had. I will be recommending my friends, colleagues, and family.

My friend and I visited this evening. The white waitress walked passed us three times and didn’t look our way. A table behind us full of white people were seated and came in after us, and she went straight to their table without acknowledging us. Chase swiftly came in and took our order with no problem. This is a persistent problem here as this is not my first time here. The ambiance and the food are always good here but the service needs an upgrade definitely. Service should be the best experience but this is where the Brass Tap falls short everytime. Please train staff to acknowledge and service ALL customers.

I was pretty disappointed in this place. The bartender did not know how to make a soda bitters, so the server had to come ask my friend who ordered one to explain in detail. The drinks took a very long time to come out as well, I think around half an hour for the margarita flight. I ordered a pretzel which was perfectly fine, but nothing special and certainly not worth $9 in my opinion. The only real pluses were that they gave us a pitcher of water for the table and that there is ample parking.

The place is beautiful, but the service was truly disappointing. My partner and I waited far too long while over seven employees were just standing around talking and laughing with each other. Sadly, no one bothered to help us, so we eventually gave up and left for another place.

Visited The Brass Tap in Tallahassee's Midtown yesterday, parking was easy (at the time) and off street in the lot. We were hoping to catch some sun on the patio, but our timing was off. If you'd like to sun with a cold brew definitely go before 4pm, on the weekend, in the winter months. That said, the patio was spacious, clean and comfortable. There were a few dogs enjoying the fresh air too, so they're dog-friendly! There was ample seating both inside and out, we did end up inside at the bar for a couple draughts and share-ables. The nachos were a huge portion, well made with salsa and sour cream on the side. The chicken quesadilla was very cheesy and well portioned too. We will certainly be back to try more food and great local beer!

Small midtown brewery, I've been coming here since they opened. Unfortunately they don't make my favorite, Sprinkle factor anymore, but the sensory overload is quite good. It gets busy and loud on the weekends, there is seating outside and garage doors when it's not too hot or cold. Can't remember if they're pet friendly or outdoor only. They've expanded a lot since I was last here. They distill their own liquor, have a coffee shop now and have several satellite tap rooms now. It's cool that mid town pies moved next door (rip bamboo house🙏🏽) so you can order there and have them bring it to you while you drink.

What a massive disappointment to buy to go Lagers almost a year old. If your brewery is still selling Lagers from 6/20/23 on 5/25/24 just cut your losses and throw them away. Terrible look. Wish I could celebrate my 275th brewery with better beer.

The beer was great, especially the red (red beet) which was just fun. We visited twice during our weekend in town, the first time the beer was served in glass, the second, much to our chagrin, it was served in plastic. (We were quite surprised at a brewery that would use disposable cups for their beers, as it seems to show a lack of respect and pride for the craft.) There's a fun vibe and great beers, though!

Wow!!! The food was AMAZING! Everything we tried was so delicious! The crafted dishes are made with high-quality ingredients. The service was top-notch, Andrew was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. He made our experience so much better with the care and attention to detail that he provided. As for the our dinner the steak was soft and had so much flavor! The lobster was cooked perfectly! The drinks had a good amount of alcohol that we ordered a second round. The desert was so flavorful! The Culinary Plot Twist I Didn’t See Coming The Huntsman didn’t serve me dinner — they served me a flavor intervention. Started with an old fashioned that made me question every watered-down cocktail I’ve ever tolerated. Then came the bread service, which… let’s just say if carbs are a sin, I’m going to hell smiling. And the wild game lasagna? Bechamel. Basil. Lemon whipped ricotta. Pomodoro. Caponata. A5 wagyu garlic bread. At this point I had to check if Gordon Ramsay was hiding in the kitchen whispering affirmations to my plate. Every bite was like a rich uncle flew in from Italy, shot a deer, and layered it in culinary gold. To top it all off, the service was just as impressive — attentive, friendly, and somehow always one step ahead without being overbearing. The kind of hospitality that makes you feel like you’ve been coming there for years. 10/10 would cancel plans just to eat here again. Possibly the best decision I’ve made all year.

Shout out to our server, Kumi, and the great chefs that prepared our food! Our visit was a few months ago, but it’s easy to remember how great the service and food was. Best meat loaf I’ve had that I can remember, and hopefully it will be on the menu for our next visit!

Elevated Fine Dining at The Huntsman – A Culinary Celebration Worth Remembering We recently celebrated our daughter’s graduation from Florida State University (FSU) at The Huntsman Restaurant and Bar, and the entire experience was nothing short of extraordinary. If you’re searching for the best fine dining restaurant in Tallahassee, Florida for a celebration, anniversary, or just an elevated night out—this is it. From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere radiated class and comfort. The elegant bar setup instantly caught my eye, signaling that this is a place where handcrafted Old Fashioneds and curated cocktails are serious business. My Whistle Pig Old Fashioned was smooth, perfectly balanced, and honestly one of the best I’ve had. Andrew, our server, was exceptional—warm, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. His recommendation of the Rabbit Makhani from the main course menu stole the show. With its savory Indian curry, cardamom basmati rice, and garlic naan, it was so incredible I paused mid-bite on my 16oz Prime Split Bone-In Ribeye—which speaks volumes! Our table shared a variety of stunning starters: the A5 Wagyu Pierogies with hazelnut pesto and beet butter, the crispy eggplant with mascarpone mousse and pearl onion agrodolce, and a generously portioned charcuterie board that hit every note from salty to sweet. Dining in one of their private rooms made our celebration feel intimate and personalized. Even the valet team added to the experience by walking each of us to our vehicle with umbrellas during a light rain—pure hospitality at its finest. To top it off, we were gifted a bottle of WhistlePig 10-Year Single Barrel, exclusively bottled for The Huntsman. That thoughtful touch sealed the night as one of our most cherished family memories. Menu Highlights for Food Lovers: • Signature mains like Wood Fired Ribeye & Lobster, Guajillo Grilled South Texas Antelope, and Wild Game Lasagna • Creative preparations including Boar Bacon Wedge Salad, Fire Roasted Oysters, and Charred Octopus • A5 wagyu, elk filet, bison ribeye, and Faroe Islands salmon • Signature cocktails like The Huntsman, Black Gold, and Cafe Con Lechon • Top wine selection from Napa Valley, Paso Robles, Burgundy, and Mendoza • Vegetarian and gluten-free friendly with options like the Cauliflower Jagerschnitzel and Braised Jamaican Trumpet Mushrooms If you’re looking for a high-end dining experience with a wild twist, expertly crafted food, flawless service, and unforgettable ambiance—The Huntsman delivers. Treat your server like family, and they’ll treat you even better. We can’t wait to return. Hats off to Chef Skylar Stafford, Andrew and the whole team!

Apartment complex
Nestled in the heart of Tallahassee, The Standard at Tallahassee, affectionately known as "Derd," is a must-visit destination for those seeking an unforgettable nightlife experience. While its exterior may appear modest with just one entry and exit door, stepping inside reveals a vibrant atmosphere filled with deep brick walls, mirrors reflecting the energy around you, and multiple televisions showcasing exciting events.
I am pleased to share my experience with Standard Apartments, which has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the community, I was impressed by the well-maintained facilities and the welcoming atmosphere. The apartments themselves are designed with modern aesthetics and functionality in mind, providing residents with a comfortable and stylish living environment. The attention to detail in the layout and amenities truly enhances the overall living experience, making it a fantastic choice for anyone seeking quality housing. Moreover, I would like to take a moment to highlight the outstanding service provided by one of the team members, Nick. His professionalism and dedication to ensuring a positive experience for residents are commendable. Nick goes above and beyond to assist with any inquiries and is always approachable and friendly. His knowledge of the community and willingness to help create a welcoming environment for all residents make him an invaluable asset to the Standard Apartments team. In conclusion, my experience with Standard Apartments has been remarkable, and I highly recommend this community to anyone seeking a new home. Additionally, Nick's exemplary service further enhances the appeal of living here, making it a truly outstanding choice.

Negligent and unsanitary!!! The apartment failed to complete a proper inspection before move in. Our front door wouldn’t lock, and various appliances were obviously broken. There was food on the floor and the whole place reeked of mildew. Now at the end of the year, the apartment is charging us for appliances that were broken upon move in that we didn’t even realize were broken! They either didn’t do any inspection before we moved in, or they took money from the previous tenants and didn’t fix a single thing.
Elizabeth M — Google review
Do not live here. I lived here from August 2024-August 2025 and it was terrible from the start. Upon arrival, the place clearly had not been cleaned whatsoever and already had mold in it. The mold was a problem for the entire year and they do nothing to fix it. I had mold sickness for months. The location is close to parts of campus but is also neighboring bad parts of town, constant homeless people outside and breaking in. The exterior doors to the apartment were never locked despite the key fob scanner to unlock the door. The cleanliness of all of the outside areas was disgusting and very rarely cleaned. There were many roaches throughout the year, especially near the trash room. The trash room was the most disgusting room I've ever seen in my life, with the trash chute clogging up and causing trash bags to pile up to the point that the trash room would be open at all times on floor 2. Maintenance was incredibly slow which was bad enough with things breaking on a weekly basis. Doors came off hinges, lights came falling out of the ceiling, our sink collapsed out of the countertop. If you didn't list a request as emergency it would take up to a month before anything would get fixed. The parking garage was fine but very narrow and the apartment exterior doors in there were rarely locked either. They claim to enforce a pet policy but the courtyard was always full of dog poop. The washing machine was loud and the dryer was low quality to the point where it needed minimum 2 cycles before anything wasn't damp. The amenities were in poor condition as well. The grill worked but took 20 minutes to heat up. The gym had some machines but some were broken the entire year. The pool table was in working condition for maybe a month total and the foosball table had no balls. The stairwells were disgusting, there were multiple instances of human feces in the stairwell. Every hallway had a different distinct smell, all of which were gross. When I moved out, me and all of my roommates were given ridiculous charges for things that were either not broken, or had maintenance requests for. It took 2 months back and forth before we finally got a legitimate inspection report. The package room was a mess and I had roommates that waited months for packages. Overall would highly recommend not living here even if I was paid to.
Johnny I — Google review
Maintenance crew stole my AirPods. Front desk workers (college students) are great though. Nice gym and pool and good study rooms. Try to throw random fee’s at you any chance they get.
Oliver O — Google review
The location is close to campus, but the surrounding area didn’t always feel safe and comfortable, which made walking to class or the Strip a bit stressful at times. There were a few frustrating experiences during my lease — getting a garage parking pass took weeks despite open spots, and my bike was stolen from the secured bike storage area. The main issue came at move-out. I left shortly after the noon cutoff, and the leasing manager mentioned they’d try to have the $150 holdover fee waived since the delay was minimal. I appreciated that and expected a follow-up — but I never heard back, and the charge remained. I paid every fee on time and followed the rules, so I’m just hoping management sees this and considers following through on what we discussed. That small act of fairness would really mean a lot.
Andrew L — Google review
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Living at The Standard has been the most unsafe and disgusting experience of my life. Our apartment has been broken into by homeless men who linger outside with no resistance because this complex does not care about security. A homeless woman even told me that people were being found sleeping in residents’ apartments, and instead of arresting them, management HIRED THEM TO PAINT THE WALLS. When our belongings went missing, the staff refused to check the cameras at first and later claimed they saw nothing. Only when the police got involved did it come out that men had broken into our unit TWICE. This place is a money-hungry scam taking advantage of college students, with incompetent maintenance and zero concern for safety. Do not live here.
C D — Google review
Significant Mold Issue I had mold damage in my apartment at The Standard, and management refused to offer any compensation for the damage to my belongings and time spent away from apartment and has even tried to shift the blame on me. The damage was caused by a faulty AC system that had been complained about previously. Communication has been frustrating, and issues go unresolved. I wouldn’t recommend living here. Attached is the photo of my shoe when I returned from a short trip
Aakash T — Google review
if you’re looking through reviews thinking you won’t be the person to deal with a negative experience, you will be. this is genuinely the worst apartment with the worst management. the college kid desk workers are nice, but alexis is a joke of a manager and hates to do her job. super money hungry complex, you’ll get random fees for things throughout the year and still after you move out. guest parking is non existent and they make people pay by the hour. hallways are disgusting, and, the gate to the building has been broken for years, and none of the doors in the garage lock, they’re almost always broken. when they do fix them, it takes them weeks to a month. when we first moved in, my apartment was disgusting, and we put in a maintenance request for the carpets that literally made our feet black and they denied the request lol. i’m sure they charged the prior tenants to clean it and pocketed the money instead. roaches everywhere throughout the building and stairs, mold is disgusting in the apartments and vents and i was mold sick for months. i dont know how this apartment still runs but it shouldn’t be

A cozy and calm gem in Tallahassee! Came here to study with some friends and was greeted with a wonderful experience worth a lot more than that. Their coffee was wonderful and perfect for someone with a sweet tooth, and their pies are a great experience to try. I recommend trying any of their coffee with strawberry flavoring. I got their blueberry pie and a white mocha/strawberry latte. Yum! Additionally, the crowd this bookstore/cafe brings in is wonderful and pure! I completely urge you to try this place once, because you will immediately want to come back. I am so glad I found a “third place” such as this!

August 23, 2025. 😔 The worst thing to do is have a joyous adventure reading and buying books, eating delicious pie and drinking yummy coffee ☕️ 😋 and not taking pictures. My kids enjoyed the outing before going to the Rodeo in Quincy. We all enjoyed a delicious treat, but I only remember what I had because they were busy reading or playing a game. I enjoyed my coffee and the keylime pie, two slices...yummy. Sad to say we went back a couple of weeks ago in October and the keylime is out for the season. I choose the chocolate pie, but not as flavorful as the keylime. I highly recommend this small cafe because the selection of books, cards toys, etc...is endless. Truly a joy to go here. Thanks staff for being so kind and helpful.

I want to preface that the bottle girl I’ve been working with has been nothing but professional and I know is doing her job, but I can’t say the same about the Recess Management Team. I’m an alumni coming in for a game this weekend, reached out over a month ago to secure a table for me and my friend’s first trip back to Tally in a few years. We were confirmed for a table with a set minimum / sent the table deposit to secure our spot. Please explain why you accepted higher bids and kicked an already confirmed table out? I completely understand wanting to get more revenue out of the tables, but to give me 48 hour notice that we are being booted feels like bad business. Also, we haven’t gotten our deposit back because their Venmo is frozen so I have to wait 1-3 business days? But we had to send it to confirm our table that we didn’t get? Update: took over a week to get the deposit back.
Jennifer G — Google review
My 10 friends and I are alumni, in town for the Alabama game. I had contacted the bottle service girl/crew two months prior to the weekend. We booked a table with a set minimum that THEY told us. Gave them a deposit and everything. I was happy to pay whatever the minimum was. I got a call 3 hours before we were set to arrive, literally in the middle of the football game to tell me I was “out bid.” I wasn’t even given the option to pay more. Nothing was clear, so when we arrived not only was the promised table not available, they wanted to sit us in a section where there were literal picnic tables and chairs. There was no private space and it was just a disaster. We said it was just unacceptable and left. “We will give you your deposit back tomorrow.” Just a clown show of a bar….we weren’t their average non paying college kids. We were ready to have fun and celebrate this win. Lol…they missed out.

If you order a bottle and go to the dance floor and leave your bottle on the table, either the waitresses take your bottle or they don't secure your table (or bottle) and it walks away. Seems suspicious.

Went here for my first time on 4th of July night. Cover was $10. Worth it for the great rooftop atmosphere, fun crowd and great music from the DJ. $10 Bacardi buckets are a great deal too. Only complaint I have is that the bartenders of the indoor bar were a little rude and disrespectful with attitude. There were at least 5 bartenders and it took them a while to get my attention for a drink. They constantly walked past me multiple times knowing that I was trying to get a drink and they were completely ignoring me right even after seeing me at the counter. They need to learn to be more attentive to their customers. When I finally got someone's attention, I ordered a redbull vodka. Thought I was gonna pay between $10-15 but was charged almost $20 for it cause he made it a double which I never even asked for, and I think the automatic 20% gratuity charge is a little ridiculous especially if you're ignored multiple times and having to tolerate disrespect just to get a drink and still having to tip after getting bad service like that? Train your bartenders to do better and not ignore a customer right in front of their face when they're not even serving anybody else. May or may not come back to this place because of the rude bartenders, but still give props for the good vibes crowd and atmosphere of the place.
Jose O — Google review
Put a deposit down a table 2 months ago and they text us an hour before that we got “outbid”. There never was a bidding process, they just gave the tables away for the bottle girls’ friends. DONT GET A TABLE HERE. The girls were incredibly rude.

Incredible, I loved it. This was my first time going after hearing lots of good things. Did not disappoint! I ordered the almond flour trout, but substituted the trout for salmon. 10/10, it was so good I cleared the plate. The dessert menu is INSANE - if you can order every single thing. I got the raspberry milk mouse thing. Holy smokes. Would recommend

Second time dining here. Pork belly was very flavorful but could have been cooked a little longer in the over/broiler. The lamb shanks was very tender and tasty but just seemed like the spice over powered the dish. I should have gone with the Salmon or Trout as those dishes looked really excellent. Dessert was refreshing with mango lime baked Alaska. Overall the experience will have me coming back to try another dish.

If I could give 6 stars I would- wow! Amazing service, delicious food, reasonable prices, and a homey atmosphere. Everything was fantastic, and our server Jessica made the night & was so knowledgeable about the menu, she even helped me (super indecisive) navigate the menu. In town on a house hunting trip from Texas. Relocating here to Tally for work. Was recommended to try Kool Beanz out and man was it a delight. From the bright cheery smiles at the hospitality desk to the warm greeting and service from the Front of House Manager Ryan, everything was just wonderful. The shrimp and grits were so tasty. Ryan convinced me to try their Truffle Ice Cream and I do not regret it at all. Hats off to the pastry chef. She knows what she’s doing. Very well ran establishment. I was thinking food in Tallahassee was mid but then discovered Kool Beanz! WOW! We went for brunch and found it to be our favorite food experience here so far! Here is the rundown….Lamb Shakshuka was phenomenal. The sauce was so savory and warm and seasoned perfectly. This dish just felt like a warm hug on my tummy : ) The Full English Breakfast was also delicious - served cooked to perfection as we requested eggs fried hard and the bangers were mild and lovely. The beans on toast were also well done, as the toast maintained its warmth and crispness. Finally, we shared the pecan butter waffle - happiness on a plate to a southern palate! Warm waffle, pecan butter and a pepper jelly syrup makes for one fabulous party on the palate! The staff were very friendly, accommodating and kind! Tally this is some amazing food! We will be back on our next visit to the area!

Tallahassee Museum is a 52-acre lakeside site offering wildlife encounters, nature trails, period exhibits, and zipline tours. Visitors can also explore the area's history at Goodwood Museum & Gardens and Mission San Luis. For outdoor enthusiasts, kayaking down The Wakulla River or enjoying treetop adventures at Tree-to-Tree Adventure are popular options. Additionally, there are indoor attractions like the Museum of Florida History and Tallahassee Automobile Museum for history buffs.
When I visit Tallahassee, FL, this place is always a must do and see!! If you like zoos, this is probably one of the best, but you won't see every animal like you would at a regular zoo!! This is a State Park, and they take in wild animals that may have been injured, abandoned, or whatever else may happen to the wild animals in their natural habitat.

It was absolutely beautiful. I loved seeing all the buildings. It was rich with history. There were also classes for kids, a playground, zip lines for adults and children. I loved seeing the different animals, the trails and the dinosaurs made from I think car parts. We got to pet a snake as well

It's not the kind of museum we're used to; there's a lot to see, and you can walk around and enjoy it. But I noticed that the animals need more love; the felines are very thin I don't know if it's because of its age; I think it has a lot of potential, and they could improve many things like the park, the walkways, and the environment for the animals. My family had a great afternoon. We couldn't get into the restaurant because it closed at 4, we thought it closed a little later. You can bring your snacks if you have a stroller be patient because sometimes the path is not appropriate. The dinosaur sculptures are fabulous, well worth a visit.

Did the tree to tree canopy tour. Soar through the cypress swamps, tree top to tree top like Tarzan and Jane (before me2 made it creepy). The full tree top rope and zip line course costs about $55 and takes about 7,200 seconds or 120 minutes or 2 hours for those who don’t do math. Michael our guide was the best. Plenty of speed and altitude to the zip lines and lots of cool obstacles to transverse. Concurring the course with the right people and energy is a game changer.

The Tallahassee Automobile Museum, also known as the Tallahassee Automobile and Collectibles Museum, is a car-themed institution located in Tallahassee, Florida. Initially showcasing DeVoe L. Moore's 15-car collection, it now houses over 160 iconic American automobiles, including Abraham Lincoln's carriage and three different Batmobiles from movies like Batman Returns and Batman Forever. The museum offers a glimpse into Americana with its extensive collection of classic cars and other collectibles.
The Tallahassee Automobile Museum is a must-visit for anyone who loves vintage cars, history, and unique artefacts. As we wandered through the exhibits, I was captivated by the incredible collection of classic cars, each with its own story to tell. But what truly made our visit special were the eclectic archives and displays. From the dinosaur egg to the vampire kit (yes, you read that right!), every exhibit was a fascinating glimpse into a different world. The Elvis and Marilyn Monroe memorabilia were also a highlight, showcasing the iconic style and charm of these legendary figures. The vintage cars, of course, were a major draw. The attention to detail and care taken to restore these beauties to their former glory is impressive. Each vehicle is a testament to the craftsmanship and innovation of its time. If I have one suggestion for improvement, it would be the lighting. Some areas of the museum could benefit from brighter, more focused lighting to really showcase the exhibits. Despite this minor quibble, I'm so glad we visited the Tallahassee Automobile Museum. The sheer variety and quality of the exhibits make it a unique and engaging experience. Whether you're a car enthusiast, history buff, or just looking for something different, this museum is definitely worth a visit. I'll be recommending this place to friends and family, especially if you like movie cars like batman!

Very nice collection of cars. All are Concours level original or restorations. The Bugatti 57 blew me away. Not many left in existence. Same with the outboard motor collection on the second floor. Was only planning to spend 2 hours here, but ended up spending nearly 5!

It was absolutely magical! I didn’t expect such a huge variety of exhibits. I’m still amazed, even a week after visiting! Be ready to admire everything… but don’t touch anything 🤣. Honestly, it feels like they have absolutely everything here!

My husband is a complete gear-head and I swear he could be a tour guide for this museum 😂🥰 we spent an entire day here and he was absolutely ready to go again! 😂 Our daughter loved it too. She's the one who requested to go. There is sooooo much more than automobiles too! Sports memorabilia, antiques, dolls, race boats, boat engines, taxidermy, collectibles, and so much more! It must update/ change frequently too, because our daughter went a year or two ago and there was so much more and new things everywhere that she said they added in since her last trip here. You do get a wristband, so you can leave for lunch and come back if you want to. Definitely plan a full day for this place. Maybe more if you are a gear-head or married to one 😜

I was excited but also unsure what to expect when we pulled into the parking lot—it looks like just another big building from the outside—but once inside, I was blown away. This place is packed with classic cars, from really early models (like late 1800s) to muscle cars, and even a few Batmobiles. What surprised me most, though, was all the other stuff—vintage cash registers, old typewriters, knives, pianos, even outboard motors. It’s like walking through someone’s massive, quirky collection of Americana. We spent about 1hr hour here and still didn’t see everything. If you’re even remotely interested in cars, history, or just cool old stuff, this is absolutely worth a visit. The staff was friendly and happy to answer questions, and the place was super clean and well organized. One of those hidden gems you wouldn’t expect in Tallahassee. They are dog friendly and offer military and senior citizen discounts. They do also have a small gift shop too!

Nice collection of cars with several limited production ones in the collection. There's a collection of farm equipment in the back along with a Divco milk truck and a 6 passenger short bus. Upstairs there are more cars, a small motorcycle collection, a NASCAR, mini race boats, and the Batman collection. Then it gets weird. There's outboard motors, model trains, calculators, cash registers, non playable arcade games, creepy dolls, grand pianos, tons of pocket knife displays, golf clubs, baseball memorabilia, football memorabilia, a washing machine, a telephone switchboard, and all kinds of "one man's treasure".

What an amazing collection!! Certainly an obsession that got a hold... awesome vehicles, especially the Auburn .. top museum. So much to look at. A great 3 hours spent oohing and aaahing at what we would love to own !!!

One of the best experience. Doning events there is really awesome. Collections of things I really never seen before no pictures. Because that will take away the experiences. I want to visit again. Since I was helping with events. Beautiful cars... But so much more. Like a lot more. Great place for events. Staff are so friendly. Comfortable place.

Mission San Luis is a fascinating re-creation of a 17th-century colonial village, offering visitors a glimpse into the intersection of Spanish and Apalachee Indian cultures. This living museum, founded by the Catholic Church in the 1600s, features costumed experts who bring to life the experiences of Spanish settlers and Native Apalachee inhabitants. Visitors can learn about church services, agricultural practices, and daily life during this historical period.
This is an excellent place to stop in Tallahassee. It has enough to do to spend the whole day, but it's also small enough to spend just an hour or two and feel like you learned something with your time. Definitely a place to bring the whole family! The young lady in the Spanish house was especially personable and fun to talk to. Unfortunately, we did not have much time as we were driving through. But as retired military, they let my daughter and I in for free. I hope to learn much more about Florida's history in places like these.

This was really neat, plenty to do for a long day but we arrived late in the day and were still able to enjoy it for a shorter time. It’s a beautiful walk and well maintained exhibits with a friendly staff.

We loved learning about the history of our home state. The staff was friendly and helpful. We attended on homeschoolers day and enjoyed an educational "mystery" where the children searched for clues. The setting is lovely too, Spanish moss sways from the old Oaks. We enjoyed the whole experience very much.

The Florida Historic Capitol Museum, located in the iconic old capitol building on South Monroe Street, offers a journey through Florida's political history. Visitors can explore the 1902 Governors office and former chambers of the House of Representatives, Senate, and Supreme Court. The museum features a collection of artifacts, photos, and interactive exhibits that showcase the building's significance in Florida's government.
This building is beautiful and very historic. (It's a shame they replaced the one building that represents the entire state of Florida with a giant gray concrete rectangle.) But this old Capitol building is open to the public and was converted into a very well managed and informative museum. Unfortunately, though, you can't go in the dome like most other capitols.

Every time I'm in town for work, I have to explore the history of Florida. Such an interesting and educational experience. It's a Must DO ...
Michele G — Google review
It is a shock to see the outside atmosphere of Tallahassee and the outside of the old capital building as it is very rundown, but they turned it into this capital museum which is being renovated on the outside so that is a good thing because it is in desperate need of that. The new capital building next to it doesn't look any better, however, and it is a shocking thing. This is my first visit to the capital area, even though I am a resident of 15 years of Florida, which is crazy thing to say. But besides the outside, don't let that get to you because the inside of the capital museum is beautiful and is highly informative and is worth seeing at least once. Be ready to read a lot and just stare at the portraits and architecture features inside it is just amazing.

This is a MUST if you are in Tallahassee! The museum is clean, informative, and just big enough for a few hours of free educational fun to learn about the history of our great state and nation! I only wish I had visited sooner!

Cascades Park is a 24-acre recreational hub located in downtown Tallahassee, Florida. It offers a variety of activities for visitors, including paved trails, an amphitheater hosting performances, historical landmarks paying tribute to the African-American community, and a war memorial. The park also features a splash pad for kids, exercise trails, open green spaces along ponds and fountains, picnic areas, benches, restroom facilities and exhibits.
Came here for a cooldown after a longgg week. Ended up enjoying myself a ton! The outdoor decor and infrastructure is unlike anything I’ve seen anywhere else in Tally, and the lake views are gorgeous. Definitely a good place to come for a picnic. Also had lots of fun learning about the historical side of Tallahassee!

Had a great time visiting this park with the family while we were in Tallahassee. It was clean, well-maintained, and made for a really nice spot to walk around and relax. Even though we went on a weekend, there was plenty of parking available, which was a pleasant surprise. The only downside is that it could really use more lighting at night—it gets pretty dark. Other than that, everything was great. I’d definitely come back for another stroll if I’m ever in town again.

We have been going to Cascades Park downtown for at least the past 4 years and love it. Beautiful park, awesome amphitheater (wish it was used more often), wonderful walkways, pretty pond, and delightful views of downtown (especially during stunning sunsets). Playground is fun, splash pad and public restrooms are nice, and we love to go for walks and strolls with our baby. Amazing park right in downtown, definitely a 5 out of 5. 💯👍

Our very first concert in the park! We recently decided to make Talley our home and absolutely 💯 LOVE this area of Florida! Our Golden Retriever does too! This was her first time at the park too. This dog friendly park and atmosphere is so nice. Just one of the million things to do in Tallahassee. People are very friendly and you feel safe. The park is clean and everyone keeps it that way. It is so refreshing to be able to enjoy a night in the park with music and community together without fear. Their was even law enforcement visible during the entire event patrolling calmly throughout the park in case of any emergency a community member may need assistance with. Honestly, unless you looked, you wouldn't even know they were there. It was a wonderful experience we will be looking forward to attending.

The Edison is a stylish restaurant located in a former power station, offering a diverse menu of international cuisine. Whether you choose to dine outside with scenic views of Cascades Park or inside the contemporary design of the 1920s power plant, you're in for a delightful experience. The lunch menu features fresh seafood options like grouper Reuben, lobster roll, and fish tacos served with grilled corn and a choice of sides such as orzo salad and sweet potato waffle fries.
Situated in a fully refurbished historic building, this restaurant has it all; atmosphere, location, bar, outdoor seating, excellent customer service and absolutely amazing cuisine. The Yoder's Fried Chicken entre is peak comfort food heaven! The fried green tomatoes and dinner salad with grilled chicken were excellent as well. Looking forward to come back here again next time we're in Tallahassee!

I was with a large party and our server did a great job keeping up with all of our food and drink orders. It took a little while for everything to come out, but when it did it was amazing. From the cocktails to the dinner I really enjoyed my time at The Edison. The ambiance is amazing too! I would love to go back!

We make a reservation for 8:15 for our Son graduation Was very disappointed We seat at 8:45 We have to call the attendance several time to take our order . They bring the drinks and forget one of them Was 9:15 and have to make a complain because we ordered and wait all that time for our food Really it’s a wonderful restaurant with a tremendous cooker Five star for crab cake the best but they need a better service staff very very bad ⭐️ for the service hope to come back and give them another shot improve the service please ! You have a tremendous chef that save this restaurant reputation but if the service keep back you going to lose a lot of customers… Be smart Give the costumer a free entry like bread or chip to entertain the long wait ! A table next to me with 8 people including 3 kids have yo give the babies banana and cereal to keep the busy one of the kids what eating the crayons yo give then to color We left and the order for them was not ready very sad ! Please do better the costumer deserve it Out table was very dark have to use my phone the lamp was not working The menu very informal and very limited to celebrate very special day kids graduation Highly recommend my plate crab cake ❤️

Walked over to The Edison during one of the concert series for Cascades and had a moderate experience. The service wasn’t top notch but it wasn’t horrible. The buffalo chicken dip appetizer was good and my grilled pork chop was good. It wasn’t as juicy as I would’ve desired, slightly on the dry side and the putney wasn’t very thick to coat it. All in all, it wasn’t the worst meal and atmosphere but very in the middle which I don’t prefer for the higher price point. The best part was the view of Cascades and the city line as well as the live music from the amphitheater!

I hated to leave this and our waitress was very sweet but we waited a long time for drinks and had to get our own extra silverware, asked for lemons for our waters to 3 different people and waited a long time on the bill. I tipped her well regardless because she was trying. The food was not good at all. And we are not foodies by any means or a hard to please crowd. We ordered 3 appetizers. The crab cakes tasted like cat food. The charcuterie board was very sad with nuts from a jar, simple small amounts of cheese and meat- no fruit or olives and more dips and honey than anything. The tuna tar tar was ruined by being put on guacamole. Not avocado slices but very mushy guac. 3 of us got burgers and as a $22 burger especially it was not good at all, dry, plain, bacon not good. No one finished it and we were hungry. The pasta was lackluster and the chicken from the Tuscan chicken pasta was soft gooey and fatty and my adult daughter did not eat any of it. My adult son has the ceasar salad and he said it tasted like dirty sink water (like the iced waters- that's why we wanted the lemons) I'm so sorry but the menu needs a total rehaul and the kitchen staff may need some training. I own several businesses so I hate doing this but otherwise how would you make any changes? I understand this is a corporate restaurant so maybe they could help this franchise. The location was the main draw and we enjoyed the symphony from our table... Location is everything but for repeat business it also has to be good food especially for a $500 bill.

Masa is a contemporary restaurant in Tallahassee, owned by experienced restaurateur Lucy Ho. The restaurant offers a menu filled with Asian-fusion delights and sushi, accompanied by modern decor with Eastern accents. It's an ideal venue for business lunches, dinner parties, or casual dining experiences. The establishment is known for its popular dishes such as the Dirty Harry Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Pad Thai, and fried dumplings.
My friends and I recently visited Masa for a girl's night. Our waiter was Dominic. We were extremely impressed by his service, especially with him being on the younger side. Service in restaurants has drastically declined over the last few years, but you guys are blessed to have Dominic at your establishment. The ambiance was beautiful, the service was perfect, and the food was phenomenal!! The bean sauce for the Edamame was used for all of my food. It was that good. I will definitely be coming back!!

Went here for dinner with my mom. She had the seaweed salad for her starter and ramen, with duck, as her main course. I started with the Thai Coconut Soup (which was AMAZING) and had the Pad See Ew for my main course. We both felt our main courses were just ok and agreed we wouldn't order either if we came back again. Our server was very friendly and attentive to keeping our drink cups full. The atmosphere was very warm and calming. Would definitely go back the next time I'm in town.

Soy Ginger Cod over baby bok choi; overcooked fish served a side of hard and old rice. 🙁 Spicy Tuna roll was inedible; little fish with too much sriracha. Honey Walnut Shrimp ordered spicy; received not spicy but at least edible. Best thing about the meal was the shrimp tempura appetizer and that’s setting the bar low. Floors were sticky and couldn’t even move some of the chairs. Had to ask for drink refills. The atmosphere was decent. The service and food were subpar. Ample parking. Had great hopes for 1st (and last) visit to Masa. The food at Little Masa is much better. Go there instead!

Masa is a Tallahassee staple and brings back fond memories of being romanced by my now husband of 12 years... We started with coconut soup which was full of curry flavor and hot and sour. This stayed in the lanes and was mildly hot and mildly sour but was chock full of shiitakes tofu bamboo shoots with good flavor and a noticeable shot of sesame oil. We shared a very generous portion of green curry with tofu. Couldn't finish it between the two of us. But we tried! We enjoy the outdoor covered seating, the friendly service we get everything, the generous servings, and the pure flavors. A Lucy Ho classic in her series of successful restaurants.

The Veggie Rolls are a vegetarian DREAM, and the chef specialties are very on point. 👌 This time I went with Beauty and the Beast and I can't wait to try another one next time we come through Tallahassee. HUGE rolls for the price! The sake flight was good, but the hot sake is always my preference. Absolutely recommend the Viva Tally. 😋

Bird's Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack is a charming seafood joint known for its fresh oysters and lively atmosphere. Despite the name, it offers more than just oysters, with options like burgers, veggie burgers, Caribbean jerk chicken, and mahi fritters. The menu also features classic American dishes with a focus on seafood and white meat-based items. The place is popular for its live entertainment and karaoke nights. It's pet-friendly with outdoor picnic tables available.
A Memorable Lunch at Bird's Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bird's Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack with my son, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our server, Megan, was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. We decided to indulge in a seafood feast, and every dish exceeded our expectations. The grouper sandwich was incredibly fresh and flavorful, the baked oysters were cooked to perfection, topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, and garlic, and the fried shrimp were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service truly elevated our dining experience. Megan ensured that we had everything we needed and made excellent recommendations. If you're in the area and craving some top-notch seafood, I strongly recommend stopping by Bird's Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack. We'll definitely be returning!

In the mood for grouper so found this place. The reviews were quite good so decided to venture in and try them out. It was very hard to keep my focus on the meal looking around and seeing filth and previous patrons leftovers. Air conditioning dripping all over you and the tables. Don’t look thru the pass into the kitchen, you can see all the filth back there too. Obviously inspections haven’t happened here in some time. The grouper sandwich was cooked well, could have been hit with some seasoning and salt. Shrimp was pretty bland. Not entirely sure what people are really thinking when they do these reviews. Maybe it is the drinks that get them, but the atmosphere and food are definitely not worthy of good regards.

Definitely one of the better burger spots in town! But unfortunately only rating 1 star solely based on the fact that this place charges full 16oz (pint) beer prices for a MINIATURE 13oz baby cup of beer. When i mentioned to the bartender that the beer cups were VERY obviously labeled as 0.4 liters (not a 16oz pint) she rudely told me I was wrong. That’s not even including the half inch of foam. Absolutely horrid, terrible place to drink. But a great place for a burger 👍🏼🍔

I have NEVER written a review in my life but tonight I am inspired to do so. I heard this place had the VERY best hamburgers from more than one person including the two waitresses. We ordered a hamburger and we wanted to share it so when it arrives we cut it in half and it was RAW..... totally RAW. I returned my half and they attempted to cook it some more and it still came back RAW. RED RAW...! Neither my wife or I could eat our burgers and we didn't touch them. When the young waitress came back to give us our invoice she asked how everything was and we showed her the burger and explained there was no way we could eat it as it was not cooked. She smiled and returned to our table with our bill. I could NOT BELIEVE that she did not delete the cost of this un cooked burger from our invoice. Needless to say, I will NEVER go back to this place again.

We went to Clusters & Hops for date night. This was our first visit to their new location and they did not disappoint. The ambience was calming, inviting, and sophisticated. The decor was modern, creative, and natural. As there were potted plants and up-cycled wine crates decorated throughout. The service was exceptional, as the waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered the Dover fish special, my husband had the grilled duck breast, and for dessert we had the amaretto mocha crème brûlée. The pictures don’t do it justice as mouthwatering as it looks, it was simply delicious and all well seasoned. We definitely will be coming back & highly recommend this gem to others :)

Words fail me. Clusters & Hops is simply superb. Everything about this venerable institution is just the best. Treat yourself to the efforts of the most imaginative kitchen in Tallahassee. Wine and cocktails brought the bill to about $50 a person.

Madison Social is a popular restaurant located in the vibrant College Town district of Tallahassee, Florida. It offers clever pub fare in a cool, industrial setting with a covered patio, making it an ideal spot for brunch with a lively atmosphere. The restaurant is known for its delectable food such as the famous spiced honey chicken and waffles, along with a variety of drinks including mimosas.
Our daughter goes to school at FSU. She was getting married and we called about doing a reception party/gathering with her friends to celebrate. (This was after calling multiple places that didn't even call back) Spoke with Rachel right away. She was GREAT! So easy to work with and great communication. We decided to rent out the side room with an open balcony. The rental, food choices, and flexibility were great. We decided to do a sit-down dinner and then open for social events afterward. When we get there they even had menus with there names on them and everything set up ready to go. We had 2 servers who were also amazing and did a fantastic job. Once the social event started, workers were on it!. From set up, service, attention to detail, accommodations, breakdown, and everything in between, it was done with ease. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Our daughter had an amazing time, and I can't thank them enough. I would recommend them to anyone I could.

Jake I can say without hesitation that Jake Panzella is the best bartender I’ve ever had the joy of being served by. From the moment I sat down, Jake’s energy, professionalism, and effortless charm set the tone for an unforgettable experience. He’s not just slinging drinks — he’s crafting experiences. Jake’s knowledge of cocktails is next-level. Whether you’re ordering a classic or looking for something off the beaten path, he nails it every time. He remembered my favorite drink after just one visit and somehow made it even better the second time. But what truly sets Jake apart is his personality. He’s warm, attentive, genuinely funny, and treats every guest like they’re the most important person at the bar. It's rare to find someone who can keep a whole crowd engaged while still providing personalized service — but Jake makes it look easy. If you’re lucky enough to be at a bar where Jake is behind the counter, stay. You won’t find a better bartender — or a better vibe — anywhere else.

Service and ambiance is always great here! Brunch is great and the view is gorgeous outside. Our server Jessica was wonderful and so attentive! She got our order out quickly and on point. Our food was delicious and drinks here are yum and they get you right. The mimosa pitcher is a steal. Aux never misses.

As y’all can see, food got demolished. I didn’t even think to take a picture of it when it came out. I literally just started munching away 😭 this was before and after my last bite lol was super good - I had the Good Day Toast & my boyfriend had the Chicken & Waffles, both were phenomenal and the service was lovely even with the post-church rush. This was our first brunch at MadSo but it for sure won’t be our last! 10/10 would recommend.

I had the time of my life at MadSo on game day. Kind of pricey to get in but had a blast. The wait time was too long for food so we just hit the bar since Bert was serving shots. Epic morning. We will be back.

Very mixed. The building is nice. 😎. The staff seemed uninterested in customers. I got a nice fish sandwich and 2 beers. I had to flag down the server to get a 2nd beer. They were very energetic to get a card to hold as I guess it must be normal here to skip out on the tab. The glass was dirty they brought for my beer…. I stopped her from pouring the beer to get a clean glass…. Beer abuse! All you need to do is look at it when you pick it up but that’s means a server has to give a shit. No one picked up anything including dishes that where sitting around or empty cans. The food was ok, nothing great but not bad. Beer is beer. Dirty glasses and staff that seem to not give a rip leave a lasting impression. I would skip it and find someplace else with personality. $14 sandwich, $8 beer. I guess that’s the norm but 👎 from me.

My daughter recommended we check out Madison Social this week, and I’m so glad we did! I was craving sweet potato fries and a margarita, and both absolutely delivered. The food was delicious, the drinks were really good, and everything came out in a timely manner. What stood out most was the service, every team member who stopped by our table asked if we needed anything else, and we felt completely taken care of from start to finish. My husband’s beer came out a little warm, but when he kindly asked for a colder one, our server quickly fixed it with no issue. Great vibe, great food, and great service. We’ll definitely be back. So impressed.

I’ve always really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at your restaurant, which is why I continue to come back. However, I’ve consistently had a disappointing experience with one particular server who I’ve been seated with multiple times recently. On several occasions, I’ve waited over 10 minutes just to be greeted at the table by Kai, even during times when the restaurant wasn’t busy. Service throughout the meal such as placing orders, receiving drinks, and getting the check has taken unusually long, often stretching the visit to over two hours. I’ve also frequently had to flag the server down just for basic requests like water refills. While I understand that every server can have an off day, this has been a repeated issue that’s impacted the overall dining experience. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes that it can be addressed, as I genuinely enjoy the restaurant.

Goodwood Museum & Gardens is a historic site in Tallahassee, offering tours of a grand 1830s private residence set on a landscaped estate with outbuildings. The museum and gardens provide insight into the area's slavery and plantation history. Visitors can also explore other nearby attractions such as Mission San Luis, the Tallahassee Museum, and enjoy outdoor activities like kayaking down The Wakulla River or embarking on helicopter rides.
Huge, beautiful plantation with plenty of exhibitions of Old Florida. Although we didn’t go into the museums ($12/person) we enjoyed walking around and taking in the peaceful gardens with the beautiful weather. If I lived in Tallahassee, I would come by and buy the plants and herbs they were selling, they had so many varieties! Can’t wait to come by again.

Lovely place for an afternoon stroll. Come explore the grounds of this majestic estates, it’s completely free! We visited when all the azaleas, camellias, and jasmine were in bloom so it was entirely lovely! We didn’t get to see the inside of the house since we got there just after the last scheduled tour but from the photos it looks like it would be worth a visit as well. A lot of history in this place from around 100 -115 years ago that is being restored. Unfortunately, some of the gardens look quite neglected and the greenhouses fallen down and unrestored. Other than that, lovely place!
Irina G — Google review
Such a peaceful and historic spot in...! The grounds are beautiful with big oak trees and gardens that feel a little wild but charming. Walking around is free, and if you have time, the house tour is worth it the guides are knowledgeable and bring the history to life. They also host weddings, events, and even community gatherings here, so it has a nice local feel. Parking is easy, and there’s even a little coffee spot on-site which makes it a perfect place to spend an afternoon.

This is a former plantation marketed as a wedding and party venue. It’s absolutely inappropriate and downright ghoulish. Historical trauma shouldn’t be repackaged for leisure or profit, no matter how carefully the optics and historical engagement giveback are showcased. To host soirées atop grounds steeped in human bondage is a prime example of bourgeois leisure and genteel revisionism at the expense of those still suffering from the Capital city’s commitment to antebellum attitudes.

Visited the Goodwood Museum and Gardens while I was in Tallahassee. Took the tour and loved it. The gentleman who was the tour guide was fantastic... best tour guide I've ever had for a tour like this. I believe he is a member of the restoration committee and had done a great deal of research on the home and its previous owners. Incredibly interesting.

We attended an Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy event at Goodwood Museum, and it was beyond my imagination. Absolutely outstanding performance by everyone, exuding talent and drawing me in to each reading completely. 🖤 The cocktails were divine and the price for a night out with my partner was completely reasonable. Can’t say enough! 10/10 would go again!

I had a baby shower here last weekend and I was very pleased with the cottage and the staff. I cannot recall her name but the staff person was amazing. She assisted us with the decorations when she saw we needed help. And she also helped with the clean up. She was great! I would recommend this place to everyone who would like a nice, historic, clean venue to host a celebration.

Definitely get the tour of the main house. Otherwise it's just a small park. The tour is fantastic! It was about 75 minutes. But you can't take photos inside the main house. Which is very unfortunate. The other buildings are okay. They have been repurposed for offices or storage. So there's nothing to see inside. One of the buildings is being turned into a restaurant. Which I'm looking forward to.

We saw this place on the show The Foods that built America and decided to try it out. We live in FL so it was about a 3.5hr drive for us. The service, atmosphere and food was 10/10! We ordered steak and French fries. For dessert we had ice cream. My husband had mint chocolate ice cream and I had cookies and cream.
Ashley G — Google review
The casual arrangement of items, including Marvel toys, for sale made it a very attractive and appealing place to bring my child. It put me in mind of a library... brightly lit and spacious, yet compact. The cashier was very friendly and immediately made himself accessible if needed (ie I did not feel rushed to select an ice cream flavor but I also did not have to flag him down). Overall, a great place to relax and have a sandwich or ice cream with a close friend and family member. If you're a coffee fan, try the Java ice cream. It was awesome.

Upon walking up to the counter, the woman was helpful. Had great suggestions for substitution or additional. I ordered the Hash bowl. Oh my Gawd! So good and fresh. The goat cheese was creamy and made the dish. Can't wait to go back. Also, my first ever chai latte and it was dreamy!

Food was good but the wait was long. A cozy atmosphere but wish we had a picture menu bc we weren’t sure of what things looked like or the portion sizes. Overall a pretty good place. Service was mid and wish it was a little better. Not bad but super packed
Devon N — Google review
We almost did not dine here because of the most recent reviews. We were told before placing our order the wait at 11am on A Sunday would be 45 minutes but we got our food in 20 minutes. Everything we ordered was delicious. The restaurant is counter service so not much to review there. Giving 4 stars because they were out of steak and the specific goat cheese topping for my biscuit prompting us having to choose something different. Overall glad we came!

Surprisedly good! Although the options are not plentiful, the items available are pretty amazing. The biscuit and hashbrowns 🤌🏿!!!!! Trust me...don't leave without ordering the hashbrowns! The setup of ordering and getting your food is a little different; but the food was reasonably priced and fresh. My only downside of eating in, is the tables were extremely sticky! Oh and the coffee is 👎🏿...but overall I definitely would recommend it!

Food and latte were good. I understand this is a college town but it’s pretty dirty. My kids chose where to sit and picked a window seat where we enjoyed the scenery of trash (not a restaurant issue obviously). Also, I tripped over a barstool as a roach spooked me 😂. Had to take a star off for this.

Friendly service and great food. I ordered a biscuit sandwich with a side of gravy, it was the perfect portion for me. Also the home made jam was the cherry on top.

Blah. Really blah. Promise with no bang. Gaines Street Pies is a laid-back pizzeria that offers a variety of pizzas, sandwiches, wraps, and appetizers. Located near College Town, it may be a bit out of the way for some but is well worth the visit. The 'Smitty Pizza' with double pepperoni, mushrooms, sriracha-infused pizza sauce and garlic is highly recommended. The crust is described as perfectly airy and bubbly while the toppings are fresh and unique.
Now THIS is pizza!!! The food was absolutely delicious. We came with our hearts already set on pizza and salad, but we will definitely try other offerings in the future. The restaurant was clean, service was very pleasant, and we were informed that everything is fresh! (Fresh as in, no freezers fresh! I think Gordon Ramsay would be impressed!) The salad was crisp and delicious and served with an amazing homemade dressing (I forgot to take photos of the salad, and the pizza before I started eating it, LOL!) The pizzas were top notch! We will definitely return, and I highly recommend this place. Great job to this restaurant and staff!

Pizza restaurant with a bar area, featuring other Italian quick eats. The pizza crust was quite thin and only ok, and the ingredients were good but seemed lacking for the price. The salad was fairly good. Service is at the counter.
Wolfgang O — Google review
Pretty fantastic find while I was passing through Tallahassee. The place certainly has a vibe, I'll let the photos convey that better than my words. They stay open until pretty late, which is super cool. The pizzas are amazing. 10/10. Some of the best thin crust I've ever had. You just gotta allow some time for them to be prepared, which is fair enough for the quality you get. I personally recommend the Bruno if you like Pepperoni. No complaints about the service either. Everyone is super chill and nice. Can't find anything to complain about. You simply can't go wrong with this place.

Good pizza. The staff was great. Price was good. Pizza was super thin. No big deal. Still good. Better than chain pizza. I’d go here again.

The food was delicious and the service was great. The people that worked here were very polite and patient. Cesar salad had a little kick a bit too much pepper but none the less was a great. The pizza was piping hot and the dessert was very good. The cookie “pie” wasn’t overy sweet and the cheesecake calzone was delicious. If I’m ever back in town definelty will be back.

I love this place. My visits have always been outside of FSU peak times, so I've never experienced the place crowded, but it reminds me a lot of the type of places I would frequent in college in Richmond, VA at VCU. The food and service is always great and the atmosphere is typical for a college hangout, which is why I had to give it 4 stars there. Very relaxed atmosphere with 100% vegan food. We had the bean burger and tempeh reuben. As you can see both are attractively presented. Both tasted terrific. Also come with really flavorful sauces for the burgers and entrees. The two "cakes" in the back are battered tofu that we also enjoyed.

Honestly a very pleasant experience. I have yet to dine in until now. I do service work and I have been in the kitchen of this restaurant and it is super clean and tidy. It has been on my list to dine in. Our server was incredible, young asian man, didn't catch his name. He was timid and hospitable but was very alert. The building is open and not cramped. The development of this Bannerman area is great. Very walkable. You can grab a drink at a few different upscale spots before deciding what you want to eat. Really gives a downtown vibe. We had a 4 top. Pork tonkatsu, Duck Bao, Spider roll, and stir fry chicken pics below. Sides great as well.

Came out for my husbands birthday with Gramps. Couldn’t be more pleased with the staff and service! The food was wonderful, fresh and beautifully plated. Our waitress Jada was very knowledgeable and helped me work around my lactose allergy perfectly! She was extremely attentive and brought our 4 courses that we ordered out with absolutely perfect grace and timing. The food was to die for! We had the Tuna tartar and the Tuna and avocado stack for starters, then for soup and salad we had Seaweed salad, Smoked Calamari salad, which had the most perfect dressing and the calamari was cooked perfectly. I actually tasted my husbands seaweed salad and for the first time in my whole life I actually liked it! Big ups for that! For the third course we ordered the miso and wonton soup which were also just fabulous! For entrees we had the Peking duck, Udon stir fry, and the tuna steak dinner. We each tried eachothers food and it was all just beyond great! So happy to have found yet another rare restaurant in Tallahassee that takes pride in what they put onto their plates :) The atmosphere was clean, beautifully decorated and very welcoming! We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to everyone <3

It was a perfect restaurant in the town. The color balance on the plates is perfect as much as the taste of their foods. Love the atmosphere and the location of the restaurant. Lucilla is a charming city with a rich history, offering an ideal blend of adventure and relaxation for visitors. The city boasts numerous attractions and activities, making it perfect for both sightseeing and unwinding. Lucilla is home to a casual restaurant that serves American comfort cuisine, including burgers and weekend brunch.
My family and I went here for my graduation dinner and I am so glad we did!! The food here has both amazing presentation and taste! And the service was great, they were very attentive and congratulatory about my graduation. We had such an amazing experience here and I would gladly recommend this place for a fancier, intimate dinner with family and friends! Next time I hope to try the pork chops, because they were out on the day we came. We tried their filet mignon, chicken, cheesecake, and shrimp and grits. I can’t remember what the same of the last pasta dish we had was, but it was good!
Skylar Y — Google review
We were very much looking forward to a visit to Lucilla based on the reviews, photos, and menu and recently had that opportunity while celebrating a special birthday. Unfortunately, for us the food was a major disappointment. The presentation was nice, service pretty good, but three of the four dishes were terribly underseasoned. Everything from the protein, potatoes, and veggies all lacked seasoning. For the price point, flavor should be on point. Unfortunately, I do not recommend. Also, virtually no options for children if that's important to you.
Florida G — Google review
I discovered Lucilla while traveling through Tallahassee and really enjoyed the experience. The food was well prepared, with great attention to flavor and presentation. Their wine selection was especially impressive and paired nicely with the meal. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, and the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a solid dining experience—I’d definitely come back.

Dinner is always wonderful! The grouper with the key lime sauce is so yummy. The oyster appetizer is also very good. The chef sent us an extra order because the first one came out cooked a little too long. We also had the crème brûlée for dessert and it was phenomenal! The restaurant is small so I would recommend making a reservation,

I googled places to eat nearby and was led to this wonderful little restaurant. Driving up to the place you might think you've made a bad choice because the building doesn't speak to the high quality of what's inside. Once inside you find a wonderful little dining room filled with joyful dinners. The menu has a nice variety of choices, all of which are excellent. I chose the shrimp and scallops with grits which was exquisite. All in all it was an excellent choice. I highly recommend it.

Lucilla is always a wonderful experience, for a weeknight out or for a special dinner, but this was even better. I'd been trying to take my partner out to one of the special event dinners for a while, but the time was never right. Finally, I got my chance. We attended the Femme Fatales wine dinner and had a wonderful experience. The food and service were fantastic and perfectly paired. The scallop dish was so good that I cleaned the plate, and the duck was spectacular, but my favorite was the wild mushroom enchilada. Dessert is not pictured because I ate it. There was also an overview of details about each wine when it was served, and the wine specialist walked around and talked with all of us to answer any questions. 10 out of 10, can't wait to attend the next special event.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Tallahassee. We've never had a bad meal there. The Grouper St. Charles is my favorite and the Green Hill Chicken is another excellent choice. The rosemary bread and sautéed spinach are staples I get with every meal. Every dessert they make is delicious. There are no wrong choices at Lucilla.

Restaurant
Mayuri Indian Restaurant is a cozy and unpretentious eatery that offers a variety of traditional South Indian specialties. The restaurant features an extensive lunch buffet with classic Indian dishes and even traditional Thanksgiving options. Guests can also enjoy the regular menu for dinner. With online ordering available, Mayuri provides weekly specials and has a pleasant outdoor patio for dining. The restaurant is known for its 5-star quality food, including pakoda, chili paneer, garlic naan bread, and more.
I recently discovered a great restaurant in Tallahassee, Florida that offers a wide variety of food options. I tried their brunch and it was amazing. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. To get your food, you have to take a metal dish (called a thali) and walk through the buffet line. The food was very fresh and tasted great. I highly recommend this place, especially if you want to take your friends and family out for lunch or dinner. One thing that could be improved is the placement of the TV screens. They were mounted too high up on the wall, making it difficult to watch them comfortably. I hope the owner can adjust their placement in the future. Overall, I had a great experience and plan to visit this place again soon with my loved ones. Also, if you're wondering, all the meat used in their dishes is halal, which is great for those who only eat halal food.

We have always eaten here for dinner but never had their lunch buffet. I was skeptical because of recent reviews but we decided to try it anyway. The price is clearly posted when you walk in and they have a small but good selection of food. Drinks are self serve and are included with the meal including masala chai. The food was not as flavorful as when you come here for dinner but was still very good. There was more sauce than meat in the butter chicken but it still a good amount for us to get a nice portion. For reference we arrived to eat at 12:30. All in all we would recommend eating here for lunch but dinner is where they really shine with service and food.

Today I ordered special chicken biriyani, but they gave me chicken curry with plain rice! They didn’t add any ghee/butter/oil! It is not biriyani! When I called to complain a guy is saying that you need to mix the rice with chicken curry, then it will become biriyani! Really ?? Then he said, we sell biriyani like this, do whatever u can!

I've been to this place a few times in the last few years and most of the time it was very good and reasonably priced. I went yesterday and unfortunately things have changed. The other reviews are correct in that the food doesn't have that POP it used to. Also, the non-speaking guy taking your money didn't say a word except the price which was $24- with a small tip! It used to be $15- with a drink. The food was average and when you went to get some butter chicken or the tofu version there was nothing but puree and no meat/tofu anywhere??? I'm sorry to say they will not last long this way like other places that have already artificially jacked up prices because of the current tariff issues and service has also declined. When you have a knee jerk reaction to things like this and make major changes it's not good. It's still clean but needs a lot of work to be great again. Good luck.

Ordered take-out for out of town guests, who are devoted to Indian food. They reported it was the best Indian food they had ever had, including in India! Our meals were amazing, too! It was our first time, but it is now at the top of our list of where to eat.
Lynn D — Google review
There is not many food items on the buffet. The flavor was ok at best. Most of the food was room temperature. I witnessed a lady take food of her plate with her hand and put it back on the buffet. I informed the staff of what I observed. Staff watch you eat instead of inspecting the activity around the buffet. Doesn't appear to have wait staff. Staff removed the pan and took it in the back after I repeated myself. $20.00 lunch buffet is too expensive for the quality of the food.
Paris L — Google review
The food was mediocre at best. Having tried Indian cuisine across the globe, this place falls short in terms of authenticity. There were clear signs of cost-cutting in the ingredients and preparation. The chicken was tough and chewy, raising concerns about whether it was undercooked or just poor quality meat. The garlic naan was overly stretchy and chewy, and the rotis were undercooked. In terms of value, the price does not justify the quality—$20 for a 16oz curry container is excessive. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

Salty Dawg Pub & Deli is a laid-back hangout offering a variety of pub grub such as wings, hot dogs, and traditional bar food. The atmosphere is family-friendly with options for entertainment like pool, darts, and weekly live music. Despite initial reservations about the appearance of the location, visitors were pleasantly surprised by the fantastic food and friendly service.
It wasn’t very busy when we came in, which made for a very relaxed atmosphere. Service was good, food was absolutely fantastic, especially for the prices charged. As college students, this is pretty much all we can ask for in a place to eat. Our server (I wish I asked for her name, she was wearing a pink cancer awareness shirt if you're the owner reading this <3 She had a favorite purple pen) was very kind, helpful with questions, and always there when we needed something. Attaching some pictures of what we ordered. For the record, there were six mozzy sticks in the order, but we'd gotten through half before I thought to leave a review.

Owner's awful attitude lost our business. Called in an order for pick-up for wings and fries - with two sides of blue cheese. At 620 pm. They said 20 minutes. We were across the street at Starbucks. Got there in 15 minutes. Hubby went to pick up window. Paid for everything- $40 - for 20 wings, one fry and two sides of dressing. He waited. And waited. 645 - order not ready. 655 order not ready. This is per their window person. I called at 710. Was put on hold for 4 minutes. This place is not that busy that they had to take that long to find an order. Hubby comes to the car with order at 714 as owner gets on the phone and starts yelling at me that he didn't get there until after 7. I watched him sitting by their window waiting. Owner lied, their customer service failed. Then owner started yelling at me because I was upset that our 20 minute order was almost an hour wait. We got cold fries, dried out wings and no sides of blue cheese that we paid for (typical of this place with to go orders). Owner is a friend of my hair stylist but it don't matter - she got nasty with me for no reason. There are other places to go to in this town. I'm not going to keep spending money at a place that can't even do a simple to go order right....especially when treated bad.

This is definitely a locals hole in the wall restaurant and in a good way. The food is your typical greasy bar food. Service is hit or miss. This time when we were here there were two servers with a lot of miscommunication. One brought us menus so the other assumed she was taking care of us but did not. Another table was sat and the server took their order while we were still waiting for someone to take our order. Had to say something for someone to finally come over. Then the fryer was not working so they could not fry any food so we settled for sandwiches. I love there fried mushrooms but of course could not have them this go around.

BEST wings in town! When I say I want em wet, this is what I mean! I traveled from Texas and made sure to stop in because you can't get wings like the Dawgs' anywhere else. Atmosphere is chill, staff is amazing as always and the food! Gosh, I wish we had a Dawg in Texas! 5⭐️ all around, 10/10 would recommend!

My son and I stopped here after a soccer game. The outside is a little dingy and we weren’t sure about stopping in, but we pushed on in and glad we did because the food was really good. A super nice server met us near the door and made us feel welcome. We got to hear the cooks bantering with each other, which was fun. We both had a house salads, shared crinkle fries, I had a cheese burger (no bun, total women thing) and my son had garlic Parmesan wings. The salad was fresh, the hot food was hot and delicious. Definitely a perfect post game meal.

Food was good. My son had fun playing pool. Service has changed a lot. Terrible staff with terrible attitudes and lack of communication today. Mind you, it was lunch time on a Saturday - maybe had 4 customers total in the building. Used to love this place but will absolutely not be back because of the young - snooty staff I dealt with.

The venue hosts a variety of events including conventions, sports games, concerts, rodeos and the circus.
Was here for the October 19th Ladies R&B kickback and it was a great concert that was well worth it. Parking was a hassle at the center itself, so i parked at a garage nearby, and the walk to the center wasn't bad. The ushers helped find our seats and the view was really good. Mics had some bad feedback from time to time but it didn't take away from the artists.

Great place. All of the seats have a good view believe it or not. Audio and video is up to speed. Food and Beverage was also good. Good place to go and see a show or a game. Parking is also reasonable and not a massive walk away like other places. Very impressed with The Tuck!!!

Florida State basketball at the Tucker Center is an awesome experience. The atmosphere on game day is electric, the fans are passionate, and there isn’t a bad seat in the house. The staff is friendly, parking is manageable, and concessions move quickly compared to other arenas. The arena itself is well kept, the sound system makes the intros and big plays hit even harder, and the energy when the Noles are on a run is unreal. If you’re in Tallahassee during basketball season, catching a game here is a must. Go Noles!

Bumpa's Local 349 is a charming, family-owned restaurant that has been delighting diners since 2018. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and delectable menu, it offers everything from juicy burgers and sandwiches to tantalizing tacos and appetizers. With daily specials, there's always something new to try! For instance, on Monday nights, you can savor their delicious pork sliders topped with homemade coleslaw and fried pickles for just $10.95.
We are not from Tallahassee, so this is a first timer review here. We typically try to go to places we have never heard of or been before - this place did not disappoint!!! The atmosphere was relaxing (went on a Monday afternoon), food was delicious and the server was helpful! I recommend trying their sliders! My husband had fried Brussels sprouts and loved them!

Nice local place to eat out, very family oriented. I enjoyed the seating outdoors on their porch. The tacos were very tasty with a sweet spicy sauce that was not overwhelming at all. Our server was super sweet with us and made us feel welcome. There was plenty of parking.

I recently visited Bumpa's at 2738 Capital Cir NE, in Tallahassee, FL. I had a very good experience at Bumpas..I sat at the bar and was greeted for my drink order. It was my first time and the bartender dude gave me some great advice on getting the churrasco tacos which were the daily special. The smoked Gouda Mac was awesome. Go check this place out!

We were off to Bumpa's again and just like the first time we had a blast. Family, good friends and good food. And good service I might add. We had another awesome waitress. Wish I had gotten her name. But another great meal, and they even had a sandwich for me. Vegan lovers, try 'The Shroom'. I really enjoyed it and I think you will too. OLD POST: I ordered the bbq ribs. After sitting there for nearly 30 minutes, the waiter comes out to say there are no more ribs for the lunch shift, they are now preparing for the dinner shift only. But the waiter did recommend another dish, and I don't think it measured up to what I had ordered. I can say the Bumpas Rolls are delicious.

We had a great time sitting at the bar for dinner, drinks, and the game. The bartender was super friendly and provided great service. The sliders, onion rings, and lavash was perfect bar food. We would order those all again. The rest of the staff was just as friendly. Thanks for the evening as we were passing through town.

Shout out to Gracie, our server yesterday! I've had lunch there 3 or 4 times in the last few months. My group of lady friends has had the pleasure of having Gracie as our server. She is nice and does a great job. I have dietary issues and so I always order the chicken pesto sandwich modified to work for me. She take great care to understand what I need and it is always perfect! I like a lot of ice and so she kindly brings me extra. She's an excellent server!

Great buffalo wings. It was five of us and we ordered a variety of dishes and all were well prepared and presented. No complaints about the food, but it did take a while. I guess because we went there late, we had 3 different servers. But the last one took ownership, explained that the kitchen was running a bit behind and apologized for the delay and followed up with us constantly filling up our drinks. Unfortunately I forgot her name.

8/31/25. Got a table at 12:30. Placard a drink order and food order shortly after being seated. Got our drinks but no food. Waited for too long till 2. One order was brought out cold and the other was still being prepped. Absolutely disappointing as my family eats here regularly. Ended up paying for my drinks and leaving. Tom Brown Park is a sprawling urban green space in Tallahassee, offering a wide range of recreational activities for outdoor enthusiasts. The park features baseball diamonds, soccer fields, volleyball courts, tennis courts, and mountain biking trails. It also includes a BMX track and a popular Frisbee golf course. Dog owners can enjoy the exclusive dog park with their furry companions. Additionally, visitors can explore lakeside nature walks and relax in the vast open green spaces.
Beautiful park with paved walking trails and wooded trails for pedestrians and bicyclists. Lots of open areas to play or relax and also has a pretty nice sized playground. The dog park is usually busy with plenty of happy pups enjoying the well designed layout. Restrooms could be a little cleaner, but not bad for a busy public park. Park has a family friendly vibe here especially on weekends.

My granddaughter loves this playground. I like that it has the astroturf and is soft underneath so falls aren't painful. The park and restrooms are clean and well kept up. Shade areas and shelters there, but none overhead this playground, so it can get hot. The other playground by here does have more coverage and a water feature to keep cool. Lots more activities available, courts, fields, a huge disc golf course, pump track, RC area, dog park and walking trails make this park a real local gem!

Currently, they are focusing on curbside takeout and delivery to ensure the safety of both guests and staff during these times. This charming eatery offers a diverse menu featuring breakfast, lunch, and dinner options that include small bites, appetizers, hearty entrees, and delectable desserts.
I'll start by saying I'm a HUGE connoisseur of Mexican food! The steak quesadilla was insanely good lol so good we went back for lunch again the next day! The queso we purchased to go with it was EPIC when we poured it on the quesadilla too! Posted a pic showing the inside of the quesadilla. The steak inside was perfect, and the romain lettuce was a nice touch! Next time we're in Tallahassee we know exactly where we're eating for sure 😎

I've visited this restaurant many times now over the past couple of years, and it literally never disappoints. I've tried numerous menu items, and loved all of them! My faves are anything with carnitas, but especially the sope. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant, and the food is super delicious. Definitely one of my fave spots in town! *Update a few years later* - everything is consistently good here, no matter what I've ordered. We've learned to arrive early for lunch because they get so busy, and it's easy to see why! This spot remains one of the best in town for delicious Mexican food.

This is hands down the best taco place in tally. Haven’t had a single bad thing here, the steak tacos are so juicy and the salsa verde is to die for. The best Mexican food in Tallahassee, hands down. Authentic food with an extensive menu that has been carefully curated to go beyond the standard Americanized Mexican restaurants and bring traditional classics to the modern diner. I used to love coming here but I have noticed a decline in the food quality my last two visits. Unfortunately my most recent visit (7/12, I ordered the breakfast wrap) resulted in me getting food poisoning. I do want to say that this is not a reflection on the staff members who have consistently been kind, communicative and respectful. These things just happen at times and I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.

So good! The young lady behind the counter was very nice + even offered us free samples of their new overnight oats! Very nice place for aspiring content creators as it is verrry aesthetic. Will definitely be going back!

Fresh, authentic, & savory! Got the buffalo flat bread and cesar salad wrap. So savory and good! Pineapple smoothie was so refreshing in this Florida heat. We tried a variety of the overnight oats - pineapple coconut, strawberry banana, and raspberry peanut butter were our winners! Such an healthier option if your searching for a sweet treat. The atmosphere is very calming. Nice quiet vibe. Staff was so nice and accommodating!

First time visiting this cafe at Cascades Park. Beautiful environment, staff was very friendly and welcoming. They have a wide variety of food and drinks. Ordered a veggie flatbread and gingerbread chai latte, both were great.

I had such a great experience at Power Plant! The tuna sandwich was absolutely delicious, gluten free, super fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I also tried the BBQ chicken flatbread, and wow… it was next level. The sauce, the texture, the flavors, everything just worked. I really appreciate that they offer both vegan and gluten-free options too. It’s not always easy to find a spot that’s this inclusive and this tasty. Big shoutout to Brandon for being so kind and helpful, he made the experience even better. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I had the most amazing experience at Power Plant Café in Tallahassee! Despite the rainy day, the atmosphere inside was so cozy and inviting. I enjoyed a perfect matcha latte made with real matcha, absolutely delicious! I also had the pleasure of meeting Christian and José, the friendly managers, who were incredibly welcoming. The café itself is adorable, filled with beautiful plants and playing great music that adds to the laid-back vibe. It’s the perfect spot to relax on a weekend, whether you’re alone or with friends. Can’t wait to come back to try more of their dishes!

Was visiting from out of town and went for a walk. Found this cafe and loved the experience! It was a gorgeous day, there was plenty of outdoor seating, and the place next door had live music which was nice. My breakfast wrap and coffee were delicious and my husband enjoyed his smoothie

Located in Tallahassee, Lake Tribe Brewing Company is a family-owned craft brewery that takes inspiration from the great outdoors to create a wide selection of beers. The brewery offers a variety of unique beers on tap, as well as flights and to-go options like 6-packs and growlers. With its shady outdoor seating area, it's a perfect spot to relax and enjoy their refreshing tropical seltzers or other brews while soaking up the summer vibes.
Lake Tribe Brewing Company is a delightful local micro brewery. Unique beers on tap, flights, 6-packs and bring your own growler to-go. Shady outdoor seating perfect to enjoy the #dogdaysofsummer. Today I chose one of the refreshing tropical seltzers with Passionfruit, Guava and Orange to cool off while watching the ball game.

I recently visited the Lake Teive Brewery at 3357 Garber Dr #4, in Tallahassee, FL. I had a nice experience visiting the guys at this brewery. It was kind of slow her so I was able to have some nice talks about beer there and in the area. I had a couple of selections and a sample. It's worth a stop, it's a nice place to hang out
Greg K — Google review
Neat little spot tucked away on the west side of town. The young man behind the bar was super friendly and took the time to explain the different types of beers. The environment was cozy, the food truck was great, but unfortunately the beer was not as good as I had hoped. We tried two flights and all of the different varieties seemed to lack flavor and carbonation, and some were warm.

Love this brew spot ! Very mellow and breezy in the summer and fall months! Love music on Friday-Sundays at times and great place to meet friends !
Andrew J — Google review
Top notch, local, family-run brewery focus on good times, good people, and good beer. Outdoor seating next to a forest, A/C seating inside the actual brewery, family and dog friendly. Many of my favorite Tallahassee beers come out of here - try the Old Chief!

Great small brewery located in the area of town that doesn't usually have much going on. The beer is good and the vibe is very chill, perfect for an after work drink if you live nearby. The hours have been limited in the past but slowly have expanded to make visiting a lot easier. Great people and beer.

One of my favorite spots in Tallahassee; a great patio, fun selection/rotation of beers, AMAZING service from everyone, and awesome trivia on Thursday’s.
Lydia H — Google review
I came in for Oktoberfest weekend, and honestly this is one one of the coolest places to hang out in town. From the awesome bartenders (shout out to Wally, Daniela, and Kaylee) to the relaxing setting everywhere in the brewery, this place really makes you feel welcome and appreciated. I'm looking forward to coming back soon :)

October Fest Beer soaked bratwurst was not bratwurst. I don't know what it was other then mushy and tasteless. And 2 of them cost about $17. And that didn't include a side. However everything else was great. Large selection of German beers, atmosphere was great and absolutely loved the German costumes the staff were wearing. Will definetly go back! Maybe their other food is better!!

Hubbie lived the big screen TVs with the Masters golf on them. They have a large selection of beer and a couple wines. We enjoyed the wings and Cuban sandwich and cheesy quesadillas. There were darts and games in the back room. The deck needs a little paint.
Mary F — Google review
Great place to hang out, LOTS of fun beer on tap! They even have a great root beer! The cuban i my recommendation for food!
Rebecca B — Google review
This place is amazing. I've been going here every other week for over two years and have no designs to stop. The beer selection is great, the staff is amazing, and the food is great! Many folks don't even know they have food, but they do, and it's excellent! Would recommend the mac and cheese, tacos, wings, Cuban - all that I've had has been amazing.
Curtis F — Google review
As it has been months since the relocation was set for Killearn, it appears Growler Country might never return. They don't answer nice (or nasty) emails begging for an update. It's a shame whatever has happened impeding opening new location...
Benjamin G — Google review
Amazing variety and rotation selection of craft beers, kid friendly select (root beer and water), wine and great food 🙂 ! Great promotions such as $5 flight Tuesdays and BOGO beers 8p to close Thursday thru Saturday. Friendly staff, superior service, great for groups, what's there not to love!? Shout out to Eddy for making the tasty Mojo Pork Tacos. Mmm mmm good!
Efrain S — Google review
Outstanding service! Shane is excellent at what he does and it shows! Awesome and huge variety of beer options and the food is amazing!

Per-beer prices are a little steep but the Growlers to go are a great deal. Food was pretty good, too! Excellent selection of beverages.

Night club
Bar
The Tally Strip is a night club with six different venues where you can enjoy dancing, drinking and live music concerts. It is a lively and popular place for people of all ages to have a good time.
Without the bouncers, this place would not be able to run. They were extremely courteous and professional, and they kept the venue safe through a presence which encourages good behavior. If trouble arises, they solve the problem quickly and discreetly through de-escalation rather than causing a scene. Can’t thank them enough for promoting a fun and safe environment!
Drew J — Google review
One of the bartenders, Chris, told me he didn’t have a receipt for me to sign. He added a $7 tip to my order and stole money from my card. This place sucks.
Josie — Google review
This is probably one of the dirtiest clubs in Tallahassee. The bathrooms are gross and never stocked, every surface is sticky, and the service is slow. I know this is to be expected from a college bar but The Tally Strip takes it to a whole new level. This is an underclassmen haunt.
Sabrina H — Google review
Lost my id last night 8/22/25 called cause they said call in the morning for a answer about my id but no answer at all and I called plenty of times
Jay S — Google review
Homophobic place that lets 18 year olds in They love letting freshmen undergrads in while blocking the entrance to my non-binary friend because they "couldn't bring a cross body bag in" even though it was smaller than all the purses of the freshman girls walking in. Wouldn't give any other reason for the cross body bag rule and then begrudgingly let my friend in after they put the bag in the car. This was after 10 minutes of asking "why" and not getting any response from the bouncers. So disrespectful for some of the actual legally 21+ people in the club. Drinks were bottom bar liquor and music was outdated. Venue was so dirty that you couldn't sit anywhere without getting dirt on your outfit. Fine if you want to get your freshman fix but if you're actually over 21, you might want to look elsewhere.
Aila J — Google review
Horrible staff at the door. Not checking id correctly they only looked at the birthday and let in 16 & 17 year old last night.
Miranda C — Google review
I was with one of my friends last night there and I walked away for two seconds and he got carried away and kicked out of the bar as I went to ask them why he got kicked out they didn’t really say anything and kicked him out with even without his phone I’ve seen a couple reviews about homophobia already and this might have been the reason kinda pathetic of a bussiness to still be doing this stuff in the big 2025
Skylar C — Google review
Used to love this place last year but can’t really get behind the ridiculous price increase of cover from 10 to 20 dollars. I understand that they did this because of covid to help bring business back but I’ve been recently and they were still very crowded. It also can take ridiculously long to get drinks sometimes even with a tip. Keeping the price raise just seems a little greedy at this point everyone else has been affected financially by the pandemic too. Edit: Was actually assaulted by bouncer here as a junior and my wallet was stollen and used to purchase a vape at roosters. The place is actually a joke and some of bouncer staff are borderline thugs. Please don’t waste your money at this greedy establishment.
