Morning, cold buffet was fine. Overall, a good stay and there is everything for everyone.

This is my first time for Birdwatching activity conducted by Rao Jodha Desert Park environmental study group. Due to great care and maintenance this place reserves natural habitat for plants and animals. The old buildings in surrounding lakes impart vintage lifestyle also.

Perfect picnic spot in jodhpur

Balsamand Lake is a lake situated 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Jodhpur on Jodhpur-Mandore Road. This lake is a popular picnic spot, built in 1159 AD by Gurjara-Pratihara rulers. It was designed as a water reservoir to provide water to Mandore. The lake has a length of one kilometre (0.62 mi), breadth of 50 metres (160 ft) and a depth of 15 metres (49 ft). The Balsamand Lake Palace was built later as a summer palace on its shore. The lake is surrounded by lush green gardens that house groves of trees like mango, papaya, pomegranate, guava and plum. Animals and birds like the jackal and peacock also call this place home. Balsamand Lake is an artificial lake that was built way back in 1159 AD by Balak Rao Parihar as a water reservoir to cater for Mandore. One kilometre long, 50 m broad and 15 m deep; the lake is located in the middle of a manicured garden full of mango, papaya, pomegranate, guava and plum trees. Jackal and peacock are the prominent guests in the garden. There is an impressive red sandstone summer palace on the shores of the lake, which is now converted into a five-star property. Make a point to watch out for pesky monkeys when walking the nature trails. The area is a popular picnic spot for locals.

The entrance of the lake is closed, only the guests of the hotel and the people wanting to go to the restaurant can access. It's a very pity!

Great Place, the location is understated luxury! However that’s where the story ends sadly. I do want to acknowledge that while I was trying to locate the place I was lost thanks to google - I spoke to the owner, I am assuming, and he was kind enough to have someone meet us to guide us to the property. The staff however were kind of cold and disinterested. Food options were limited and cheap food brands for a place of luxury- one would imagine nutrition is still a thing ! The towels in the room could have been for scrubbing your skin raw ! Grey and hard as rock; Thankfully I carry my own towels when I travel, I wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole. As an enterprise I would expect higher standards when treating your paying customers with respect - shows lack of mindfulness It was my birthday and I seem to have made the wrong choice !

Our stay at this boutique hotel was great. The rooms were clean and the interiors of this hotel as a whole were so aesthetically pleasing and elegant. We loved the service from the hotel staff. The breakfast spread was good. Especially their breakfast egg combos were great and we loved them. It comes with an open rooftop and a heated swimming pool. The only thing we dint like was that the room was quite small for the cost we paid. Otherwise the overall stay was pleasant for us.

Lovely stay here. They serve you a plated dinner with many different varieties of food. Breakfast was delicious as well and made to order. The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!

The hotel is located in a secured area with villa's. It is close Umaid Bhavan and 15 minutes from Clock Tower by car. The rooms are big, clean and beautful. The Pool is nice. Food is good. Hospitality is kindly. Feels like home.

Fantastic guesthouse, the rooms are comfortable and clean, staff helpful and polite and the food wonderful. Cannot fault this hotel or its staff. Chatham the owner goes out of his way to see you are comfortable as do the staff Bletham & Brinthie. Almond Tree is a little out of town however the peace and quiet is heavenly, as is the pool. Make sure you have dinner on the rooftop it is serene. I only wish we couldve stayed longer here. Travelling as a group - with my husband, mother and sister. Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely boutique hotel. Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, nice refreshing swimming pool. Good breakfast and they cook a delicious lunch and dinner as well. We stayed here in August and we were the only guests. Location is a bit further away from the city center in a residential quarter. For us this was no issue Tuktuk costs around 200 INR.

Stayed here with a couple of friends. It’s a small hotel with a lot of charm. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating; always up for a chat and offering tips for our stay in Jodhpur. Food was delicious. Our rooms were very large and clean. We were the only customers during our stay and felt very well attended to. It’s a little bit out of town which initially I thought was a draw back, but having spent time in the hectic and noisy Jodhpur town, I was very grateful to be far away from the noise!

Limited space, table on hourly basis, cold drink and some eatables available any time. Cue condition is not good, all cues are bent. And new ones is set aside and not available for new customers. Cold drink, chips, cigarettes available on MRP+2Rs. Don't accept Paytm and no option for credit and debit card. There are 3 tables. One of them is full size or Royal table, other one is small size(i think 9ft in length) and the above mentioned table is for snooker. And last table is for 8 ball pool, and one ball is Missing.

Good place and the best part is they have 32 snooker tables with rich facilities like AC and all. Separate smoking zone available and they charge 180 rs per hour

Very great Library where you can find many books 📚📚

Humongous library with a massive collection of books. The building is isolated from all other departments and some distance away. The stone construction gives a grand look to the building against a sandy backdrop. The interiors of the Library are even more impressive, with multiple storeys of books. Searching a particular section can be time-consuming at first due to the enormity of the books and racks.

Jai Narayan vyas university library is good library. There are so big collection of so many types books .very useful books which useful and helpful for learner and students. Library is facilities of seating also good ,there are vere silence no voice and noise .lights also good. Parking also available.

PROS The owners are cooperative and helpful and good natured. The food is homemade and tasty. CONS However this is also deceptive. The owners have presented a common guest house as an exquisite homestay and you may find the first impression as very disappointing as this guesthouse is located in a crowded residential locality with cramped and dirty road. It's unassuming More so the guesthouse doesn't offer some basic stuff like washroom door doesn't have handle on the inside, the Washroom doesn't have essential toiletries like moisturizer shampoo oil dental kit etc etc, the TV doesn't offer even free channels, there's no intercom and for each and every requirement you've to call the owner family, there's no Washroom in common area, the overhead water pump makes erratic and irritating noise. Etc etc Having given some shortcomings I would like to mention that owners are still quite familiar helpful hotel owner. In fact the entire family is enchanting.

We stayed at Magan Niwas for 2days with our kids the stay was wonderful, the food prepared by aunty was so tasty and healthy.Entire family is helping and planned our anniversary so well .we felt like home. 5 star for owners behavior & service 1 star for all other things This is a guest house having only 3 rooms condition of room can be seen in picture. Food items are overpriced. Rooms is overpriced. Near Raikabag railway station, good for coming or taking train from there, Garden area is good. You may not get towels, dental kit, etc. Confirm before booking. Only Gyser tap in washbasin you can't control hotness of water, shower was not in operation. No problem faced during stay but 2500 is not value for money for such kind of room.
