It was okay. The staff were friendly and the pool was clean and refreshing. I paid for the 3:45-4:45 time slot with my 4-year-old daughter thinking there would be some space to practice swimming with her...but we were confined a single lap swimming lane with no steps, no ladder etc, and a high wall to hoist in and out. I'm a strong swimmer and quite able-bodied so this wasn't a problem for me but it was a tight and uncomfortable place to swim with several other people and my daughter was a bit overwhelmed since there was nowhere she could really go. (It seems this was because of the men/women being separated so we couldn't swim in the more open area where several other kids were enjoying swimming with their mom's.)

Absolutely PATHETIC experience. The website clearly says the swimming pool is open. The timings displayed outside the facility say it’s open. Even people like me who showed up early to swim said it should be open. The WhatsApp group had no info about any closure. So why the hell was there NO ONE at the pool? I waited until 6:20 AM just to double-check. Still NOTHING. No staff, no signage, no updates — just an empty, lifeless facility. Tried calling every number I could find. No one picked up. No replies, no missed call returns. What kind of place operates like this? It’s honestly INFURIATING how careless and unprofessional this is. Total waste of time, energy, and motivation. If you can’t bother to update your info or even answer a phone, maybe don’t run a public facility. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being misled and ignored.

Very bad attitude of the lady at the reception. She is not eligible to be there as it should be a customer friendly seat. Authority check for similar reviews about the lady and replace her.

Sports actvities functioning well. Cleaning in the surrendering area is not upto the standard of the sports hub. Had the authority takes kneen interest in beautification of the sports hub it will looks good.

Reasonably well maintained, 50 m long pool, bang in the middle of the city. Allows for daily entry or monthly passes(one hour a day). Hourly entry allowed in different time slots both in morning and evening. Monthly passes are issued from the last week of current month to the first few days of the new month. Entry timings: 6am-7am, 7.10am-8.10am, 8.15am- 9.15am. 3.45pm-4.45pm, 5pm-6pm, 6.15pm-7.15pm, 7.30pm-8.30pm. The pool has 10 tracks, 6 of which are for swimming full lengths. The first two tracks of these 6 are reserved for the use of women only. The remaining 4 tracks can be used by those who do not wish to swim full lengths and can swim about however they want. Not many changing rooms. Lockers cannot be locked which means your things will have to be left unattended in unlocked "lockers" while swimming in the pool. It has separate changing rooms and open shower areas for men and women. They are strict about the kind of swimming attire material that you use. And swimming caps are mandatory to enter the pool. Adequate common parking space available except when the indoor stadium and its premises might get rented out to host events.

Pool is good but the security and all the staffs are very rude. In not customer friendly. The other reviews I see about this place says that the swimming dress is not mandatory, but that’s not true for men you have to wear a nylon shorts, and you cannot wear a T-shirt for woman. You can wear an eye T-shirt and nylon pant||||||||||||| 🔺The ticket counter staff do not tell us that the swimming dress is mandatory Once we pay the amount will be not refundable. And if you are unaware of the swimming dress code, you will have to force to buy their shorts from their shop 🔺 and very pathetic hygiene for the men’s and women’s change rooms, it’s very smelly and full of mud

We visit Aakulam Village Park mainly for the pool. For adults, it costs ₹100 per hour. There are no strict rules about wearing proper swimwear, which is convenient. They accept both cash and UPI payments( separate counter). It's a good idea to bring a swim cap to protect your hair from the chlorinated water. If you are just starting out, this could be a better one. The pool is open to everyone—kids, adults, and families—so you'll need to be a little cautious while swimming. If you're coming by bus and aren't sure where to get off, stop at the Kuzhivilla bus stop. From there, you can take an Uber, auto, or even walk—it’s about more than 1.5 km to the park.

Very bad experience, one of the worst place ,the staffs and securities are all rude and they don't have even a simple mannerism and will argue for some shit things that makes no sense, they don't even have a valuable point to argue but still they will make us frustrated.

Beautiful interms of location and design. Well constructed pool and facilities. But the management and maintainance fails. This place deserves better management. Even the lake Infront is very poorly maintained. Basic facilities should be improved. And better shops and establishments should be there. But still if you want to spend some quality time with your friends or family go visit. You won't regret. Serene landscape. The pool water quality bis bad though

The pool was not clean bec there were many insects in the water There are some broken tiles in the pool which will cause harm if u are not careful The dressing room is also not maintained properly its full of water and its difficult to change if you are wearing pants😹swimming suit is mandatory

Good place for relaxing and enjoying. Every day you can come and swim with daily 50 rs per head. You need to bring your swimming suit.

A good swimming pool in a small children’s park. Kids will really enjoy this pool. Better to carry swimsuits with you.

We visited Trivandrum as a family in June 2025 and choose Sreevalsam guest house based on google reviews. True to the reviews, the guest house was in a quite place but very near to the temple and market place. The restaurants are in walkable distance. The guest house manager Suresh will arrange for transportation for visiting temples and sight seeing in and around Trivandrum. This is very much reliable and I would urge the guests to use the transportation as it would be much cheaper and also saves us of much hassles. Overall a goto place for stay at Trivandrum. Guests coming in their vehicle will have to park outside the home stay and it is also safer.

Well maintained room, clean bathroom, walkable distance to Padmanabhaswamy Temple. The owner Mr : Suresh is very humble , supportive and even assisted us till the temple since we are not familiar with the shortcuts .

I have been here for 3 days with my daughter. Completely safe and a very convenient place. Suresh sir took it upon himself to do all the arrangements required by us thereby ensuring we had a great darshan and a great time. He helps with everything , be it sight seeing information or arranging cabs .He d even accompanied us to the nearest restaurant so that i dont lose my way . He s one person who s very honest and of an extremely helpful nature . Coming to the accomodation part ,its very close to shri Padmanabha swamy s temple. Rooms are clean and all are AC rooms. Restaurant s are nearby. Swiggy/zomato options are available. Residential locality and its safe. Do visit.

We a family of 6, stayed there for 6 nights and it was absolutely a comfortable stay. The guest house is centrally located to many sightseeing locations and is nearby to the airport and railway station. Padmanabhaswamy Temple is at a walkable distance. Mr. Suresh (Owner) is very hospitable, makes you feel at home. One can check with him for any assistance that is needed, be it transport arrangements, eateries, sightseeing places, etc. If you prefer a cozy guesthouse house, this is a place to be. I would highly recommend and would definitely visit again if I am in Trivandrum.

Great experience with Sri Sureshji.From check in time to check out time,his hospitality is praiseworthy. Personally he guided us to the WestNada of the temple.He arranged a cab for us to move around Thiruvananthapuram at a reasonable price. Though the room,we stayed in was small,but did not face any difficulty.Rooms are neat and clean. The bedlinens,towels were very clean.The bathroom is well maintained. The rooms are reasonably priced.I missed to take the photos of the room,otherwise it would have ben justified the way I mentioned as above.Miss you Sureshji.

The owner(uncle) was soo cool and friendly, felt like i was at home. Very good, neat and clean, very close to temple, station and other visiting spots. uncle guided us everywhere and made our trip very wholesome.thanks alot. Recommended place🥰

Nice place to live. Neat and clean rooms and attached toilet facility. Air conditioned room there. Silent place. Car parking for 2 cars. We can park more cars in outside. Stove and pots for making coffee and tea. R.O. water filter and Mud pot also placed near too filter. Fridge for store cool items. Hall with good sofas and 6chair dining table.

I had a great homestay at Jewel. The rooms are very nice and neat. All facilities are fine and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Overall: Very good.

Rooms were alright. Looks the same way the pictures show them. Rather small but manageable. Service was trash. Caretaker had trouble communicating with us even though we were speaking in the native language. There was no hot water for a bath. Location was the worst part about this. I have an SUV and had come with my entire family to visit Trivandrum. The hotel is located in a very small alleyway where my car could barely fit. It takes a lot of skill to enter the area with a car as big as mine without getting scratches.

Nothing except the accessibility The staff doesn't speak english, only his mother tounge. The way they took our ID for verification was rude. There is no responsible person there. Room was very old, not clean, stains on the blanket, pipes not working in the washroom, AC not working properly. Waste of money and we left that night itself.
