Italian restaurant

European restaurant
The Table is a renowned restaurant in Mumbai, offering a sophisticated dining experience with its elegant bi-level space and floor-to-ceiling windows. It has been recognized for its exceptional European and Continental cuisine, earning accolades such as Best European/Global Cuisine in the Times Good Food Awards and being listed in the Miele Guide to Asia's 500 Best Restaurants. The restaurant's stylish interiors, including a mezzanine floor and piano-themed decor, create an upscale ambiance perfect for intimate dining.
There are plenty of 5-star reviews about The Table raving about its food—and it deserves each one. The food is exceptional. However, the service was 10-star. Some context: I am (un)fortunate to belong to a family of hoteliers, which makes dining with them anywhere an Olympic sport. They are quite critical of poor, or even mediocre, service, and it is a pain to hear long stories about how "I have spent 40 years in the hotel industry..." each time some minor thing doesn't meet their standards. Therefore, when I say the service was so good that my very exacting family were bowled over by the attention, the service, the speed, the efficiency, and all the other adjectives one can attach to great hospitality service. The Table restaurant manager and his crew were exception. Warm, welcoming to begin with. Considerate of our dietary restrictions. Made appropriate recommendations so that we could have an excellent experience. It was the whole bag. Suffice to say, you'll always be guaranteed good food at a top notch restaurant. But great service like this is unique to The Table.
Karishma S — Google review
From the moment we were seated at The Table, the experience felt warm, thoughtful, and expertly curated. What truly elevated our evening, though, was the incredible service—especially the spot-on recommendations from the staff. We were guided toward two standout dishes: the glazed pork chops and the char-grilled beef fillet. Both were phenomenal. The pork chops were perfectly cooked—tender with just the right touch of sweetness from the glaze, and a savory finish that lingered beautifully. The beef fillet was equally impressive, with a rich, smoky char and melt-in-your-mouth texture that showed serious care in preparation. As if the mains weren’t enough, dessert took things to another level. On our server’s advice, we tried the passion fruit and mandarin creamsicle, and it was nothing short of a revelation. Light, refreshing, and bursting with bright citrus flavors—it was the perfect end to the meal. In short, if you're dining at the Table, trust the staff’s recommendations. They know exactly what they're talking about, and it made all the difference in our visit. We'll definitely be back.

Nice place with good food, though I would not merely call it an Italian restaurant, as half of the menu is made up of French cuisine! Book a few days in advance as they are usually fully packed especially on weekends. Loved every single item we tasted on the menu. Seating arrangements are fine, but can be better. Will come back for sure.

Wow! Wow! This place lives up to its very high standards. Food, in particular, service and ambience. It’s all outstanding. I must admit I was trying to find something wrong with this place. You know what it’s like - nowhere can be that good. But, as hard as I tried, they delivered the best. Tip for red wine drinkers - the Montepulciano is as good as any of the reds and great value.
Steven G — Google review
There’s something truly special about The Table. It’s one of those rare restaurants that manages to feel both familiar and surprising every single time. The space has an easy charm — elegant but not trying too hard — and the energy always feels just right, whether it’s lunch sunlight filtering through the windows or a lively dinner service. The food is consistently beautiful in its simplicity. Every dish feels like it’s been thought through — fresh, balanced, and built around great produce rather than fuss. You can taste the confidence in the cooking. The menu reads globally, but the soul of it feels distinctly their own. And the service — calm, intuitive, quietly excellent. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into every part of the experience. After all these years, The Table still feels like one of the most assured, grown-up dining rooms in Mumbai — the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit.
Nuzzy J — Google review
Good food and nicely presented. Brunch menu is limited compared to dinner which has larger offerings. Too many breakfast egg items for brunch. Quick service and top notch although restaurant was busy. Every plate was almost perfect. Dessert items are limited for brunch. Coconut sorbet not recommend as the instant coconut cream after taste was too overwhelming. Reservation is a must. Price is on high side even by Mumbai standard.

After 43 years my sister and I went out for dinner, just the two of us... no spouses, no kids, no grandkids! I wanted "the perfect evening" and based on recommendations I went with my gut and reserved at The Table over other restaurants which gave me a more trending, famous-for-a-week energy. And what an evening it was! Perfect ambience, beautiful presentations, and above all, impeccable, friendly and very personal service! A special shout out to Dhiraj who was the team member that attended to us. I am planning to take my wife there next time I'm back in Bombay and Dhiraj is a huge part of the reason for that ❤️! Highly, highly recommend The Table.

Incredible meal at The Table, can easily see why they're no 1. The persimmon salad was one of the best things ive ever had. Other standouts are the corn bread, cornucopia crab and the sole fish. Surely coming back to try out more stuff. The cocktails are fun and the staff makes great recommendations too. The bartender is gracious and accepts feedback and acts on it. Desserts are great as well.

Silver Beach Cafe is a charming wood-lined restaurant that offers European-style dishes and specialty pizzas. The cafe's floor-to-ceiling windows provide a picturesque view of the quaint street, creating a cozy atmosphere for diners. The menu features delectable options such as Moroccan kebabs, thin-crust pizzas, and indulgent hazelnut gateau. With its light and airy ambiance, it's the perfect place to enjoy a delightful dining experience.
Tried the monsoon menu at Silver Beach Cafe and absolutely loved it! The flavors were fresh, cozy, and perfect for the season. Great ambience and warm service made the experience even better. Definitely worth a visit!

Perfect for a date or classy sitdown with friends. Love the collection of Sangria and their coffee was just perfect. The Mezzanine floor was just perfect seating. Staff was very prompt.

Recently relaunched Silver Beach Cafe comes with its own fun yet warm charm. I went for breakfast in the morning on my way to work and immediately got taken in by the laid back feel of the place... Wish I had come by on a lazy Sunday where I would have eaten much more and headed back home for that extra snooze! :))

It felt so good to be back at Silver Beach after a long time. I grabbed a cozy window seat, ordered a hot coffee, and let the rains outside set the perfect backdrop. I tried their shakshuka, which was comforting and well done, though I wish the cream cheese could’ve been a little better. Still, the whole experience of enjoying my brekkie with a good book, coffee in hand, rains pouring outside, and a hearty breakfast plate made it absolutely worth the visit. A lovely spot to slow down and soak it all in. 🌧☕📖🍳

Tucked away in the bustling business hub of Nariman Point, The Sassy Spoon is a charming gem that captivates with its whimsical French-inspired decor. Imagine gauzy curtains, sparkling chandeliers, and an eclectic mix of vibrant furnishings, including a wall adorned with vintage suitcases. Chef Irfan Pabaney crafts a delightful menu that marries European flavors with playful twists—think roasted red grape and beer ricotta on ragi baguette or braised sesame and anise pork belly.

North Indian restaurant
Fine dining restaurant
Masala Library by Jiggs Kalra offers an upscale and imaginative dining experience with its modern ambiance and eclectic menu. The restaurant, located in the bustling Bandra Kurla Complex, is a top choice for fine dining in Mumbai. Known for its pretentious yet marvelous dining experience, the tasting menu is highly recommended as it showcases a variety of small but satisfying portions.
Have been hearing about this place since maybe 2-3 years. Finally went there yesterday on my anniversary. Tried the tasting menu. It was a 9 course meal. Check the photo the menu and items. Every dish was unique and amazing to taste. Though expensive it’s worth a visit for a special occasion. Good food , nice service , great vibes.
Salim K — Google review
Was always a big fan but my last visit was absolutely below average. The food was good but not we expect with masala library. The server played smart with giving us the mineral water and charging it. These things leaves a bad taste. Overall an average experience.
Jasleen B — Google review
Masala Library is located in BKC and it is easy to find. The restaurant comes from Massive Restaurants by Jiggs Kalra hence you should he prepared that the dining experience here will not be a traditional one. They have prepared a multi course tasting meal which has appetisers, mains and desserts and don’t think about the quantity as it looks less but at the end of the meal your stomach will be full and you will be definitely satisfied. The restaurant is spacious with fine dine decor and seats are arranged systematically. Loved the minimal approach and the dim lights adds nice touch to the overall ambiance. Went here for a weekday dinner and the kitchen service was on time and table service by staff Sanket & Nilesh was excellent as they knew the menu well and they were attentive and proactive. This time I won’t be explaining each and every dish as the list of items we tried was big and I have mentioned the entire menu below. In brief I can say that it was indeed a memorable dining experience as the dishes made here are unique taste wise and the use of ingredient wise. They have created something that they can only make and you will not get such dishes anywhere. It is pricey but you can go here to celebrate something special as it will make you happy. What We Had - Heritage Menu~ VEGETARIAN- APPETISERS~ 1. Hibiscus Pani Puri, Watermelon Pastrami 2. Dahi Chaat Panna Cotta, Raspberry Chutney 3. Masala Papad, Chutney Foam 4. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 An absolute gem for food lovers! This restaurant truly stands out for its non-veg specialties — the Nalli Nihari is slow-cooked to perfection, rich in flavor, and melts in your mouth. The Fish and Prawns dishes were equally impressive — fresh, perfectly spiced, and beautifully plated. But the real showstopper was the Jalebi Caviar — an innovative twist that combines tradition and creativity in the most delicious way. Crispy jalebi pearls with a gourmet touch of caviar — simply outstanding! Great ambiance, warm service, and consistent quality make this place a must-visit. Perfect for anyone who appreciates fine flavors with a modern edge. Highly recommended! 🍴🔥 Sorry for only adding photos of half finish jalebi caviar.

I went a few years ago, so the menu will have changed. Masala library really set the scene for new modern cooking in Mumbai and they explored techniques that hadn't been seen in the city. The food in my opinion was good but not incredible, it felt heavy and sat in the stomach but that could have been what we ordered. I would like to go back to try it again
Broswhodine — Google review
Went for 9 course meal.. appetizer and dessert were good. However not impressed with main course.. nothing special.. too much of Garam Masala in main course..
Bijal P — Google review
We tried both veg and non-veg tasting menus. While both were very good the Veg menu was better than non-veg. Service was very good. They even helped us with location issue with our uber driver. Highly recommend trying this restaurant.
Kshitij P — Google review
The place has no charm and vibe. It was dull on Sunday night. We opted for chefs tasting menu veg and non veg both were below average. Except 2-3 dishes for rest all dishes taste and presentation was average. Won’t recommend for the price point. There are a better places surely

Mirchi & Mime is a unique dining experience that offers imaginative takes on Indian classics in an upscale setting. The restaurant employs hearing and speech-impaired wait staff who greet and serve guests with a big smile. The menu features mouthwatering dishes like prawns, kebabs, and curries, complemented by a selection of crafted beers and other drinks. Situated near the Prithvi Theatre, the restaurant provides a tranquil environment with impeccable service and excellent quality food.
Mirchi & Mime - there is so much to write about this beautiful place known for many unique stuff, which is in addition to some of the best in food. Me and my entire family is fan of this place that is also known for training and employing deaf 🧏 🧏‍♀️ personnel, highly proficient in sign language. Team is extremely well trained and hospitable to the core. They can develop a communication channel and a bond much faster than even someone with voice and rich vocabulary. Met two wonderful gentlemen Hasan & Nandan (both 5 🌟) who were catering to us. I won’t mind visiting the place again just to converse with them. The restaurant gifts you a small carry home card that lists various gestures & their meaning. For food. You just can’t miss Mirchi & Mime. Their menu is extremely rich and as always, this time too, we went for set menu to ensure we can try maximum from menu. While food served is 10/10 and preparation very unique; their presentation is also their high point. Simply loved 🥰 it !! Try their kebabs, fish preparations, desserts and much much more. One will require many visits to taste little something from their expansive menu. Did I miss mentioning desserts, try Sitaphal Pina Cota; absolutely delicious. Restaurant is designed very well and offers a bright spacious look. They have a rich bar serving cocktails and other beverages. Give in to the foodie in you and head to Mirchi & Mime, thank me later 🥘🍸🍚 Note for Management- Your set menus could be tweaked a bit to combine Non Veg & Seafood specialities into one. May be add that as 4th option on your list.
Sharad B — Google review
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mirchi and Mime, a fine dine restaurant that exceeds expectations. The moment you step in, you're enveloped in a premium atmosphere, complete with comfortable seating. What truly sets Mirchi and Mime apart is its commitment to social responsibility. The restaurant employs deaf and mute individuals as waiters, providing them with a unique opportunity for employment. To facilitate communication, the menu includes a set of signs that you can use to place your order. I was thoroughly impressed by this initiative and applaud the restaurant for its efforts. Now, onto the food! We began with the Bangla Paneer Tikka, which looked stunning but unfortunately fell short in terms of taste. We couldn't finish it, which was disappointing. However, the Dori Kebab more than made up for it. Essentially a seekh kebab wrapped around a dori, it was incredibly juicy and flavorful. For our main course, we opted for the Veg Tahiri Biryani, which was good but not quite what I'd call a biryani. The Thalapakati Mutton Biryani, on the other hand, was outstanding. The mutton was surprisingly boneless and of exceptional quality and quantity. The sides they provided with the Mutton Biryani were truly exceptional. The fried chips in curd were absolutely divine - I couldn't get enough of them! What impressed me even more was the thoughtful service. The staff noticed how much I enjoyed the sides and offered me a second serving without me even having to ask. It's little touches like these that make a dining experience truly memorable. As the afternoon wore on, the restaurant filled up, even on a weekday. While Mirchi and Mime is certainly on the pricier side, the unique experience and delicious food make it well worth a visit.

Mirchi & Mime located in Powai has food to die for! First off, the concept of the restaurant itself is very pure. This place has deaf and mute waiters and people are given menus with Sign language to communicate. This helps generate more inclusive employment opportunities and they've earned a star from me for that (not that they needed it, it was 5 stars for the food already). Secondly, this place has undeniably amazing food. I went here for dinner with my family. We got Waterchestnut and Corn Tikki for starters and Paneer Jugalbandi, Smoked Dal and Breads for the main course. The starter (Waterchestnut and Corn Tikki) was hands down one of the best things I've tasted till now! After that, Paneer Jugalbandi had a really interesting combination of white and orange gravy that went very well together. You'll love the concept of this place and the food.

Mirchi & Mime is an Indian restaurant in Powai, Mumbai that has a unique concept: the staff is all deaf and mute, and they communicate with customers through sign language, delicious food, excellent service, and warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is a great place to experience Indian cuisine and learn about deaf culture. Here are some of the highlights of Mirchi & Mime: Unique concept: The staff is all deaf and mute, which makes for a unique and memorable dining experience. Delicious food: The food is delicious and well-prepared. The menu features a variety of Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Excellent service: The staff is attentive and friendly. They are also very skilled at communicating with customers through sign language. Warm and welcoming atmosphere: The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. It is a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family. Overall, Mirchi & Mime is a highly recommended restaurant for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience in Powai, Mumbai. Here are some additional things to keep in mind: The restaurant is popular, so it is a good idea to make a reservation in advance. The food is slightly expensive. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. I do not recommend chicken lollipops, not worth to even try. Amristari fish tikka is my favourite.

First time when a restaurant has positive vibes. A good food and people who are deaf and dumb are seen earning with ease. It was pleasure seeing their comic timing at many instances.

This place is a must-visit. The staff are speech and hearing impaired, providing a unique and enriching experience. The food quality is exceptional. It's a completely new experience, and everyone is sure to enjoy it. Since it often gets crowded, it's advisable to book your seats in advance to avoid waiting. Outdoor seating is also available. The staff here is well trained and so good. They also give you a sign card to take along.
Moumita R — Google review
The staff is amazing, the food is great, 10/10 just go to this place. The ambience is perfect for a chill dinner with your parents. Reserve the table in advance to get the table inside the restraint. Outdoor sitting is good but, if you have a problem with cigarette smoke, you might have to book in advance! Go for it! You won’t regret 🤗

This is one of the go to restaurant for our household for years. They run a restaurant with great food along with a social cause. All their waiters are speech challenged thus all the orders are taken by sing language. However if the patron struggles then there are staff who come to speak and assist. An ex colleague suddenly called and we decided to meet here. He ordered 2 gin and tonic and 1 starter each. I ordered a grilled prawns and my vegetarian friend ordered Mushroom Galouti. Both the dishes were well made and very tasty and we were quite happy. Additionally the music is low so it’s a great place for a conversation.

Pan-Asian restaurant
Mamagoto is a popular spot offering fusion Asian cuisine in a vibrant setting adorned with Japanese Manga art. The restaurant is renowned for its Pan-Asian buffet, featuring an array of delectable dishes from starters like chicken wings to desserts such as coconut ice cream. Additionally, Mamagoto boasts a special children's menu with diverse options appealing even to picky eaters. Their Chinese menu is particularly noteworthy, and the Crispy Lotus Stem stands out as a must-try dish.
Mamagoto has always been one of my favourite restaurants. I’ve been having these chicken basil cups since I was a child, they still taste so good. 10/10. I’ve had basil cups all over the world but nobody does it like mamagoto!! I tried the chicken noodles for the first time and these were also pretty good. The staff is also very nice and helpful.

We recently visited Mamagoto in Bandra and had a good experience! The restaurant's quirky decor and lively atmosphere set the tone for a fun night out. The service was top-notch - our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. We ordered the spicy dumplings and pork soft tacos for appetizers, both of which were absolutely delicious. For main course we had the Yang how fried rice and pepper chicken. The flavors were bold and exciting, and the portions were generous. The prices were a bit on the higher side, but trust me, it's worth it. Don't forget to have the homemade coconut ice cream for dessert. Overall, I'd give Mamagoto 4.5/5 stars.

We've been to this place multiple times, but this time around ambiance was a little different from our previous visit, maybe coz we went late around 10.30 pm. The staff seemed in a rush and wanted us to place an order and go back home. The alcohol counter and table around the area are nice settings but the other dining part of the restaurant lacks a nice setup. The food was served hot and the quality was good. But waiting time a high. The team can work on efficiency. For me, it's a one-time visit if you want to experience Asian and Chinese food options

I tried to get good pictures but due to the lighting i wasn't able to get very bright pictures. Anyway, the food was really good and the menu was very interesting. Explored both veg and nonveg options. Loved the chicken satay and the dumplings from the aunty's nonveg platter. The staff was super friendly and you're served complimentary frymes while you wait for your order. Overall a good experience

Loved the place. Amazing servers and delicious food at reasonable prices. Although the cuisine is pan-asian, there is no shortage of options. The honey chicken was the highlight of the whole meal and should be a must try. They have a wide variety of sauces as well. The dumplings and the other dishes were equally good and were amazingly well made. Would definitely recommend of you love Asian cuisine.

I really liked the Ramen here. I tried the Spicy Mamagoto Ramen and it was really good. Sushi was good too. I tried the duck dimsum and it was amazing. The ambience is nice. The setup is really nice. The sauces served were good too. Good staff and good service. Prices were towards the expensive side, but it was all worth it.

Mr Jeff was amazing at his hospitality, he personally looks into every table ensuring his guest are having a good time. We visited here to try their set lunch menu priced at ₹895 pp. they have great options to choose from their menu, it’s totally worth an experience. It includes 1 soup pp, 1 Dimsum pp, 1 main per person, 1 gravy pp and 1 dessert pp. It’s a great pick for group lunch and gatherings. Royal China, is certainly best known for their fantastic food and service. Totally Royal and classy.

Food was superb and service was impeccable as always. Crispy prawn Chung Fan, Seafood dumplings in chilli oil, Chicken gyoza, Korean Kimchi dumplings, salt & pepper asparagus and dim sum spare ribs in black bean sauce. Followed by Veg pan fried noodles, five treasure vegetables and tenderloin in Chilli oil Toffee banana & ice cream for dessert! While the food is as great as always the portion sizes have definitely become smaller over the years and the service slower.

The food is exceptional, it's not Indian Chinese, the cuisine is original Chinese. The service was excellent, very friendly, very polite and respectful right from the point of getting out of the car. The space is slightly tight with numerous tables however this point one forgets in the midst of outstanding food and superb service levels.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Mumbai, The Fatty Bao is a lively eatery that brings together an eclectic mix of Japanese and other Asian cuisines. With its quirky decor adorned with colorful graffiti, this popular spot offers a delightful array of dishes including dim sums, baos, sushi, and ramen. For those who love to explore different flavors, their 18-piece dim sum platters are perfect for sharing or indulging solo.
The Fatty Bao is located in Bandra Linking Road. Visited here with my friend. It is one of the best places to try Japanese and  Asian Food. The ambiance is beautiful. The place is very colorful. the lighting is perfect. they have both indoor and outdoor seating. The seating arrangement is very comfortable. The staff here is well trained and friendly. They also recommended some good dishes. The service is pretty fast. One doesn't have to wait too long for their food. This place gives a relaxing vibe. Perfect place to go on a date. Coming to the food it was just amazing. Sushi was perfect. I tried Ramen for the first time and it was too good. Epicurean B — Google review
Linking Road in Bandra is home to some of the best food in the city, and one of the best asian joints in the place is The fatty Bao. It has a modern, chic vibe crossed with a vibrant and sassy decor, perfect for a date night, or for a hangout sesh with friends. The decor feels inspired by Malay/Singaporean cafes, with a lot of the artwork depicting the same, and it comes off pretty well. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, though the indoor seating is a bit cramped, but that's mostly fine. They do have a small bar serving the usual suspects, as well as some of their own stuff. While I didn't get to order a large chunk of their menu, whatever I had was pretty great. Their name is definitely apt, as the baos I got were plump and pillowy, and the filling was perfect. I got the pork char siu baos, and the pork was fatty and melt in your mouth, complimented nicely by a slice of raw apple, giving it a fruity kick. Every Bao order comes with two, making it perfect for date night. I also got their raw papaya salad, which was one of the best renditions of the dish I've eaten in Mumbai. It was tangy, sweet and spicy in just the right amounts, and wasn't just a refreshing palate cleanser, but a great meal by itself. It's also a very generous portion making it great for sharing. The last thing I got were Chicken and asparagus dumplings, which didn't impress me as much, as I've had better dumplings in the same price range. They weren't bad but not particularly great either. The filling was generous, but it lacked in flavor. For 6 pieces, it was not the best value, and I recommend trying other dumplings, or avoiding dumplings all together. Overall, I would rate both the Char Siu Bao and the Papaya Salad a solid 9/10, and the dumplings about a 6.5/10. Definitely go for their baos( pretty obvious given their name). The service was fine, but they do tend to ignore the smaller tables and focus on the bigger groups, and it was also pretty busy on the day I visited. But I did see other tables also not receiving food at the proper times, so I'd rate the service a little lower, like a 6/10. Definitely could do with some improvement. The Fatty Bao definitely ticks a lot of the boxes, though they do miss a little bit in their service, and cocktail variety, though I did not have the opportunity to try it. However, they more than make up for it with their snazzy decor and contemporary vibe, along with some pretty great food. I highly recommend checking the place out if you're out shopping in Linking Road and need to grab some lunch or dinner. You're definitely gonna be leaving a happy and fatty bao when you're done. Final rating- 8.5/10, definitely recommend.

“An Asian food lover’s paradise with a bold twist! We tried the calamari and it was absolutely brilliant — crispy, perfectly spiced, and tender inside. It’s one of those dishes you’ll keep going back for. Their menu is creative and packed with flavor — from baos and ramen to small plates that surprise you with every bite. The ambiance is chic and lively, making it perfect for both casual outings and celebrations. If you’re looking for modern Asian food done right — The Fatty Bao is a must!” 🥢🔥🍹

Great food. Scrumptious dumplings, soups, salads. We had the 8 course lunch menu, everything from soup, salad, dimsums, chicken starters, rice, noodles and curry was amazing. We even tried the ramen which was very authentic. The sichuan chilli oil dimsum and the pork Chinese cabbage was to die for.
Snehal R — Google review
The tempura sushi, mushroom dumplings, cottage cheese bao and avocado cheese sushi all tasted amazing. Cocktails could have been better since they were expensive. The mushroom and chicken Ramen weren't very authentic since I have had better ones. Overall it was good, would go again and order more of their appetizers.
Priyanka S — Google review
We went here because we hadn't made a reservation anywhere and most of the good restaurants were full. They took 20 minutes to take our order. The staff was otherwise friendly. They did not have place indoors so we sat outside in the sticky heat of Mumbai. The ramen was okay. The pork bao was yum. The momos were good so we ordered them twice. But the crab sushi roll that we ordered had a weird taste to it. The toilet was quite clean to use. There is a branch in Bangalore which I don't think I've visited yet.

Just beside the Monkey Bar.......An authentic Asian restaurant. The quality, taste, quantity is very good as compared to the price. We had the.... Tantanmen Ramen and Steam Boiled Fish with Asian Curry and Jasmine Rice. At first we thought, it wouldn't be enough... But they serve a really good quantity. Great ambience...... They also have a bar... And have a very wide range of cocktails and drinks.!!!!

I am not very big on Asian food but i decided to try it anyway and a friend recommended this place so, here we go. The ambience is very pleasant. very hospitable staff. Started with drinks and a few appetizers. The drinks were great and so were the appetizers. Tried the char siu bao, the meat was seriously overcooked and very dry. A little disappointed because of that. Also, when taking the last round of order, nobody asked around whether we wanted to order more. They need to work more of customers. Overall this place is amazing but they could've done better in terms of food and customer satisfaction. Cheers!

Known for generous portion sizes and authentic flavors, 5 Spice provides a dining experience that keeps customers coming back for more.
I have always been a fan of 5 spice food chinese here is just awesome. Especially mangolian pot rice, Starters chicken 5 Spice, desert Rocky Road, chicken barbeque. **5 Spice, Saki Naka – Review (300 words)** 5 Spice at Saki Naka, Mumbai, is a popular go-to spot for lovers of Indo-Chinese cuisine with a twist of comfort food indulgence. Nestled in a bustling part of the city, this branch of the well-known 5 Spice chain offers a consistent dining experience, both in terms of flavor and portion size. The ambience is casual yet inviting, with dim lighting and comfortable seating. It’s not overly fancy, but clean and functional – perfect for casual dining with friends, family, or even a quick solo meal. Service is generally prompt, though peak hours can result in slight delays. The menu is extensive, covering everything from classic starters like Chicken Lollipop and Paneer Chilly to overloaded mains such as Burnt Garlic Fried Rice, Thai Pot Rice, and their signature gravies like Hot Garlic Sauce or Sapo Chicken. Portions are huge, often enough to share between two hungry diners. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are both well represented. One of the major highlights is their dessert selection. The *Death by Chocolate* is a crowd favorite – a decadent, towering mix of chocolate cake, brownie, ice cream, and sauce – not for the faint-hearted or light eaters. It’s rich, heavy, and pure indulgence. Prices are on the higher side compared to street Chinese joints, but justified by the generous portions and quality of ingredients. Hygiene standards are commendable. In summary, 5 Spice in Saki Naka lives up to its brand reputation: hearty meals, big servings, flavorful sauces, and comfort food done right. It's not gourmet or cutting-edge, but if you're craving satisfying Indo-Chinese in a cozy setting, it delivers exactly what you’d expect – and a bit more. Just make sure to go with an appetite and maybe a friend to share that dessert!
Tejaswi S — Google review
5 Spice was an amazing experience for the mind blowing desserts. The Death by chocolate with chocolate sauce and the Chicken Dimsum, the chicken fried rice. For the money (400 per person) the quality and quantity are mind blowing. Remember it will be incredibly difficult for one person to have one dish by themselves. The quantity of rice is phenomenal. We went as 4 people and paid about 1600rs. Update from my 2024 visit - 5 Spice continues to be fabulous. We had sizzling veggies for starters and Mongolian pot rice veg - incredibly good! Portion size continues to be humongous. Outstanding value for money.
Durai D — Google review
5spice is known for its Asian cuisine mainly chinese. They have many good options especially in starters and desserts. The main course is quiet appetizing too. For food quality, I would say that it is okay. Sometimes I have had bad experiences as well, where the meat had some stale smell and taste, but most often the food is well cooked and the taste is just fine. I would say that for two people, one main course is more than enough. The prices is on the expensive side but you can say that you get your food’s worth for sure. This specific outlet had top and underground floor. But now the top floor has gone for some renovation. There is valet parking available which is free. So that is nice. For desserts they have some really nice options right from rocky road, mission impossible and death by chocolate. One must definitely try their Mission impossible and Death by chocolate cake. The dessert serving sizes are quiet huge so be sure you have sufficient stomach space left after main course in order to be able to finish the whole dessert. I would not say that they have the best food but one can definitely good quantity and decent chinese food. I would rate this place and overall 7/10. Point worth noting here is that they charge 7.5% service charge over and above food cost and GST. But yes, the price is worth what you get here for sure.

Hmm... coming here with an Uber is hard. Coz the entrance isn't exactly grand, and maps doesn't help visually. Try looking out for the McD besides it to reach here. Now, coming to the review, the Ambience, since it was a weekday noon, it was empty, we were the only ones here. The interiors are awesome! A very nice vibe. Secondly, the Service here was a tad bit on the slower side. And the staff didn't seem very excited to have us there. And that was very underwhelming! Lastly, coming to the Food, we ordered chicken burnt garlic soup, which was amazing, along with chicken Manchow soup which was a decent one. Then, along with red chilly pepper chicken and 5 spice prawns dry, we had halka noodles. The chicken was great, definitely a must try, and went very well with the noodles, prawns were not that great, definitely neither a let down nor a shining star. And obviously, had to order the "Mission Impossible", which seemed very appealing and huge, and from the initial looks of it was exciting, but, plain and simple, it's just a chocolate mousse cake served with vanilla scoops and drizzled with chocolate syrup, the only great thing about it, is that it's huge. Even 5 of us weren't able to eat it completely, and at the end we were just trying to gulped it down our throats for the sake of money, it was very unpleasant.

Kala Ghoda Cafe is a modern and artistically minded cafe and gallery located in the Kala Ghoda area of Mumbai. It offers a variety of gourmet Western-style breakfasts, as well as tea, coffee, and juice. The cafe is popular among locals and artists, with limited seating available. One of its popular offerings is the dark chocolate waffle. For those looking for healthier options, they also serve Desi waffles made from gluten and wheat-free batter sourced from Uttarakhand.
Well the fact that I keep coming back here despite my sense of adventure and exploration is testament enough to the quality. They make these banana flour waffles that’s so delish with their chocolate sauce and side of fruits . You won’t go wrong with any orders here . Do try their pastas and other main courses , salads, ragi chips. As for atmosphere, there are three different ambiences to choose from . We have our spot by the bar in the library.

We visited Kala Ghoda Café for lunch — a treat from our son. The café has that cozy, heritage charm and friendly service that everyone raves about. Wife had the Ham and Cheese Classic Sandwich, I had the Mutton Sandwich, and our son went for the Chicken Schnitzel. We shared a Rocket, Fruit & Honey Salad, the Ginger Cake with cream, and a bowl of Roast Potatoes. Everything was fresh and nicely done — except the mutton sandwich, which, in my humble opinion, should have been the classic kind: just butter, salt, pepper, and a touch of whole grain mustard between two soft slices of bread. Instead, this version tried a little too hard to impress and somehow lost its soul in the process. Overall, it’s a pleasant spot with good vibes, but I still can’t figure out why cafés like this are hyped up to such dramatic levels — and the prices certainly add to the mystery

Charming spot in the heart of Mumbai! Kala Ghoda Café has a vibe that’s hard to match—artsy, peaceful, and full of character. It’s the kind of place where you can sip your coffee slowly, soak in the creative energy, and enjoy thoughtful conversations. The coffee here is genuinely top-notch—rich, aromatic, and brewed to perfection. I tried the roasted chicken with Thai rice and coffee cappuccino and both were amazing. Their food menu is just as impressive—fresh ingredients, clean flavors, and beautifully plated. Loved the cozy seating and the touch of old-world charm with modern simplicity. The staff is polite and attentive without being overbearing. What really stands out is the ambience—it’s peaceful, almost meditative. You’ll find writers, creatives, and travelers all soaking in the same magic. Whether you’re coming in for a quiet breakfast, brunch with friends, or even to work on your laptop for a while, the space is incredibly inviting. If you’re in South Mumbai, Kala Ghoda Café is a must-visit—whether you’re a local or just exploring the city. Perfect for brunch, solo work sessions, or catching up with friends. Will definitely be returning!

The Parsi omelette was absolutely shit. The avocado toast was nice but the portion size was way too small to justify the price. The masala chai was just about average, as was the chicken burger. The ambience is fantastic especially if you are seated soon, and the service is genuinely caring. I just wish they slashed their prices by half and got a better chef.

Ling's Pavilion, located in SoBoland's Colaba, is a 75-year-old icon that offers authentic Chinese cuisine. The restaurant has retained its charm over the years and is run by a family of Chinese immigrants. While the menu includes Indianized Chinese dishes, the owner is happy to provide recommendations based on your taste preferences. The zen-like ambiance makes it a great place to enjoy noodles and other light yet flavorful dishes.
I came here because I’d started to get a sore stomach from eating Indian cuisine non-stop for 3 weeks and this went down a treat! I had the steamed pork buns and mandarin chicken (ginger flavoured) and loved it. The staff were super friendly and attentive and I enjoyed my time. The serving sizes were also massive and well worth the money 😊

Each item was delicious and portions were reasonably sized. Will recommend and visit again.

A Timeless Chinese Culinary Gem in Colaba – Ling's Pavilion Nestled in the heart of Colaba, Ling's Pavilion is a two-storied restaurant that beautifully carries forward a legacy that began with the iconic Nanking by Mr. Ling in the 90s. After his passing, Baba Ling and Nini Ling opened what is now one of Mumbai’s oldest and most beloved Chinese restaurants. From the moment you step in, the Asian-inspired ambiance and cozy seating transport you to a different world. The menu is impressively extensive, offering authentic Chinese flavors that are rich, fresh, and consistently delicious. Started my meal with my go-to Chinese tea – so soothing! They also serve some refreshing mocktails and have a good alcohol selection too. Here are my absolute favorites from the spread: Crab Sweet Corn Soup Pan-Fried Noodles Bean Curd Chicken Sumai – a must-try! The portions are generous, and the staff is always warm and attentive. Though we skipped desserts this time, I’ve heard great things about them! If you're a fan of real, nostalgic Chinese food in Mumbai – Ling’s Pavilion is a must-visit!

I decided to take my wife for dinner and what a nightmare it was. We had to come back midway without finishing our meal. The waiter suggested the special dishes and we ordered a Surmai Fry and Paparica Chicken. The fish was smelly & dry and the same was with the chicken. We even gave them a feedback but we were given the full bill to pay. They just said a sorry and nothing else. No courtesy to even check if they can change one meal to our satisfaction. Very bad experience 😞

Very ordinary. The food was terrible. The pizza base was not even made by them. They call themselves a continental restaurant. It's good just for a quick beers and some snacks on a weekday post work. Nothing more

We had pork chops and Spaghetti there. I expected better, more juicy meat in pork chop. The food was good. It's almost 5 star for me. Just reducing one start with hope that next time pork will be more juicy and I will edit the review. 😊

It's a very interesting place that not many know off... The atmosphere is calm in late evenings and a bit buzzing in noons. The food is great. Specially the sandwiches, pizza and lasagna and some other oriental dishes. Had been alone, but it's great place to hangout, in after office hours with colleagues or friends over a chilled beer and some unique dishes. I liked the chicken sandwich with coleslaw and fresh bread. Hard to get this minimal but authentic chicken sandwich. The staff is good and place has a chill out vibe. Must visit if u are in this area. I'll visit again with good company next time.

Food was not cooking well. Had ordered fish n chips. The fish was rubbery and even the fries were stinky. Did not expect such bad quality and service from such an old cafe

It's conveniently located near Kalaghoda. I tried the Cottage Cheese Sizzler, but found the paneer to be very sour which was disappointing. However, the Fornara Pasta, Farmer’s Garden Lasagna, and Pina Colada were all good. We visited in the afternoon. At that time, the cafe felt quite hot and had a humid smell, which was a bit uncomfortable.

Busago is a trendy establishment with visible brickwork and an array of Korean, Thai, and other Asian dishes served in bowls. The venue has a modern ambiance, characterized by uncovered masonry walls. Their menu comprises various culinary options from multiple Asian cuisines, ensuring there's something to suit every taste.
Located in the interiors of BKC, the place has some interesting artwork on the wall and a colourful vibe once inside. Seating is mostly in steel chairs and large wooden tables. Staff is courteous and food is served in a decent amount of time. Known for Chinese & South Asian cuisine, their food showcases authenticity. We loved the balance and depth of flavours in their food. We had the following : Sesame Teriyaki Chicken Bowl - Sweet and spicy gravy which was perfectly balanced, containing chunks of chicken pieces that were tender. We opted for the Egg Fried Rice on which the gravy was served and the rice was irresistibly good. Not too oily, this was high quality flavourful cooking at its best..😍 Cambodian Chicken Curry - Aromatic and a hit in terms of flavour, the curry was coconut based and a bit spicy. It contained potatoes, shallots and curry leaves along with soft pieces of chicken that went amazingly well with the curry. Served with plain steamed rice which was well cooked. Dishes like these satisfy your soul and do justice to South Asian cuisine. This one is highly recommended..😋 Peach Iced Tea - This turned out to be a disappointment compared to the scrumptious food that we had here. The syrup had settled down at the bottom and it mostly lacked any flavour apart from the syrup. With almost no hint of tea, they can definitely improve on this..🙁 We also had their Chicken Burmese Kaukswe which was authentic, filling and simply delicious..🤤

Located in FIFC ground floor Busago is a lovely place to have fresh Burmese food and outstanding momos. The place can accomodate around 30-35 people. Quirky decor, lamps, messages on the wall makes Busago attractive and fresh. They are famous for MEALS IN A BOWL so do try it out. Well I started of with a peach and lemon iced tea which as nice. Absolutely loved the peach tea. Prawns Steamed Momos - It takes about 15-20 mins to make the momos as the dough is made after placing the order. Nothing is pre made or cooked here. Prawns were juicy and delicious. Loved the taste. Definitely recommended. Chicken Momos - Tender minced chicken leaving a blast of greens and meat aroma when opened. Again the dough is rolled after the order so you gotta wait for atleast 15-20 mins for the dish to arrive. 3 flavoured prawn - An amazing red gravy made with spring onions, some sweet chilli and garlic. Topped with huge juicy prawns and egg fried rice at the bottom. The sauces are tight in consistency, the taste is rich and the texture looked great. Having it in a bowl made it better because the food stays warm much longer. Pork Chilli Flat Noodles - Flat Noodles mixed with brown pork gravy, topped with a fried egg this dish was awesome. Flat noodles were well made. Veg and Chicken Bao - Both the baos were made tasty. Mince chicken, some zucchini, raw carrots, radish, lemon, cilantro and peanuts were added in the baos throwing a killer taste. In the middle had the Coconut Nimbu Pani - This drink is like an iced tea but with a beautiful tender coconut taste. Some honey and ginger was blended too. Banoffee In A Cup - Great dessert with lots of caramel, biscuit crumbs and fresh whipped cream. Chocolate Mousse - A not so sweet mousse with a huge addition of coffee. More like a coffee mousse. The cream on top kinda balances the bitterness of the mousse. Do come here and taste their other items too. It's one awesome place close to my house who serves excellent food and fresh momos. Also a big thanks to the chef and his team for designing the menu and making great sauces. Oh btw, you can also buy their in house green, red and sweet chilli sauce bottle. Attached some pics. Namaste. Food 5/5 Ambiance 3.5/5 Hygiene 4/5 VFM - 4/5

A small, cozy, casual place. Mostly tables of 4. Warm decor. Placed in the heart of BKC. The staff are extremely courteous, insightful and will go the extra mile. The prices are good with frequent offers. And the portions are massive. Would recommend sharing every dish between 2 people. Dish recommendations are the Pho Soup, Burmese Kaukswe and Chocolate Mousse to finish it off. They do not serve hard drinks but the selection of juices is good too with the only drawback being that they aren't freshly made there but bottled fresh juice. The place also attracts a crowd of couples and families. Hence would recommend planning ahead to avoid waiting. Parking is available via valet service. Overall an excellent experience of the Pan Asian cuisine.

Located in the City Bank building at BKC busago is a place which is small but offers amazing food specially if you are on a budget. However when I say budget I mean a decent budget as it is not on the lower end of the spectrum. Busago offers amazing dumplings some very good Thai food and some standard desserts.

LOVED this place. The good is great. Their Kauwapse (hope this is the right spelling) is out of this world! It is a coconut milk based gravy with noodles or rice and they will give you a plate full of various toppings for you to customise your bowl. Comes in Veg and Chicken. If you love spicy food then try the 3 flavour prawns bowl. Highly recommend both. Other dishes are also good. Ambience is nice. Staff is friendly and courteous. They have about 8-9 tables in all but can accommodate large groups as well. In deserts, try the flour less chocolate cake. You will die and go to chocolate heaven. Although if ur calorie concious then give it a miss cuz it legit oozes butter. All in all a great experience. It's tucked away in a quiet residential lane in BKC. I didn't drive here so not sure if they have parking. It is super easy on the pocket as well. Great taste, ambience, location and value for money make this an amazing place for a quiet Sunday lunch with friends and family. Will definitely recommend this place and will return as well.

BusaGo is a wicked bistro of heady Asian food and juices in a cosy space. What you see is what you get. A keen union of piping hot momos, spicy, street style stir fries and authentic South East Asian curries all served best with our signature sauce - Chib's Original Chilli Sauce. The best kid on the block to have staple Asian diet, BusaGo at BKC, is the Asian eatery’s fourth outlet in Mumbai. The decor is quirky, with the signature chalkboard menu stating out the grub. The walls are adorned with bowls in bright colours and the menu, with delicious food. Those of you who miss Busaba – the iconic eatery that changed the Asian eating scene in the city, BusaGo won’t let you down. What we were served: Veg Tibetan Momos, Steamed Veggies, Burmese Vegetable Khowsuey with Brown Rice, Chocolate Tart and Flourless Chocolate Cake Veg Tibetan Momos - The perfect momo has a shell that’s delicate yet firm enough to hold in the juices. One bite and the filling will squirt out if you’re not careful. Momos are best eaten with your fingers. You take a small bite off one end, suck in the juice, spoon in some hot sauce and then pop the whole momo into your mouth. It will go down like butter! Steamed Veggies - Discover all the tastiest steamed vegetables with rice perfectly crafted by Chef Nikhil Chib. This dish plays up to the boring old rice without needing much effort. A quick and no-fuss dish to clear your hunger with! Burmese Vegetable Khowsuey with Brown Rice - This one-dish meal is sure to strike every single of your taste buds with its vibrant flavour! The Burmese Khowsuey features layers of rice/noodles, a vegetable curry made with coconut milk and an elaborate masala of spices, coconut and cashew nuts, and an elaborate garnish of fried onions, garlic, vaal dal and spring onions. This gives the dish a unique texture and a really unforgettable flavour. Although this dish obviously involves too much effort, right from preparing the noodles/rices and the curry to the garnishes, it is completely, absolutely worth it! Chocolate Tart - A superbly rich chocolate tart served with a sweet white chocolate is a brilliant dessert. A triple layer of crumbly crust, a truffle-like interior, and an almost patent-leather-shiny glaze make this tart the chicest take on chocolate we've come across. Flourless Chocolate Cake - As if this decadent dark chocolate cake’s flavor wasn’t glorious enough on its own, the cake is also gluten-free. Unsweetened cocoa powder plus melted bittersweet chocolate contribute to the intense chocolate flavor. The texture of the cake is dense and luscious, like classic chocolate cake meets fudge. Constructive Suggestions: 1. Improve service time 2. We understand that the menu is crisp and short but there’s so many options to add especially for Veg as every sections has just one vegetarian dish In a nutshell, whether it’s momos or a big bowl of soupy goodness, BusaGo will always be one of the eateries we’ll call home for a quiet but fun lunch. With town now getting a taste of this, we’ll stop over more after work or a movie. For more take on what’s cookin’ in Mumbai, follow our Instagram and Facebook handle @thegoodfoodpact

Food: Ordered the chicken Tibetan Momo's and the chicken khawkswe. The Momo had a tender and juicy filling of meat and was well cooked. However, the portion size was a little too small for my liking. The khawkswe was served with a variety of DIY ingredients which you could add to your personal bowl. The portions were adequately filling and tasted delicious. The curry had bursts of flavour with each morsel, with a warm, tangy and comforting taste. Chicken and veggies in the gravy were tender. Service: We were pretty much the only customers present at 7.30pm on a Friday night, so the service was personalized. But the staff were courteous and friendly. Ambience: A small rectangluar space with a few tables evenly placed from each other. Decent decor. Located in an area where you would normally stop by for a quick bite. With corporate offices surrounding the place, you would normally see many app based delivery boys visiting this branch. Value for money: Pretty good for the delicious food they serve here. Stop by, if you are in for some delicious comforting Asian food. Would personally recommend. Will be visiting this place more often in the future.

Amazing service, great hospitality. I was looking for a Chinese restaurant in Santacruz nearby. Found the place hopped in and was amaze the way they treat customers. We went here for our anniversary date expecting good food with a pleasant experience... And we ended up having an awesome time, that made our day even more special! A modestly sized place with lovely ambience for a dinner date, delicious food and swift service. We really enjoyed the crab and asparagus egg drop soup, and chose sesame crusted prawns tempura with tamarind pippette jus, and cherry pepper chicken with water chestnuts, for appetizers both were amazing in taste. We skipped mains but had Kwai noodles with shrimp and they were good too. The only thing that was not so great on our table was the dessert. We chose The Big Bang Theory, which TBH was awesome to watch being assembled right on our table! "A" for experience, but not so much for the overall taste. We had the berry one, maybe the chocolate one could be promising, but I can't tell. We even got a complimentary chocolate cigar which was again superb. Overall had a great time. I'll visit again.

Over the years , the food has become so bad. We ordered for : chicken dumplings which were good 3* , paneer garlic pepper which was horrendous, it was sweet 1* , chicken garlic pepper again disgusting and sweet 1* , chicken fried rice , it was smelling and egg was smelling as if it not cooked in hot oil, chicken was tasting stale 0* , chicken hakka noodles were good 3* , fried noodles we asked for , first we got stale and wet ones. We told them and asked them get us fresh, then they made fresh nice hot ones. Chicken clear soup was good , 3* for that. Overall we packed most of the food because it was not worth eating . I don't think we ever want to visit this place again. Quality of food is really bad . Highly disappointed. Overall 1* for the Restaurant as it's not solving the purpose of serving good food.

Visited this place at around 10 in the night and had to wait for about half an hour to get a place for two. But they had a waiting area which was fine. We pre ordered food. Well we reached our table and soup arrived immediately which was hot and yum. The chicken starter was a bit cold. Followed by garlic rice with red curry which was full of flavour. The overall service was quick but I always it's too congested types. And they also charge for packaging the leftover food. Overall rating Service -3.5 Food - 4 Ambience - 3

Went to Dynasty Chinese restaurant for dinner, which is situated on S.V Road, Santacruz West. Its been here for many years now with same interiors and seating arrangements, everything looks the same from past 20 years, which is not so great or fancy as compared to new restaurants these days. The FOOD here USED TO BE good few years back but now the quality has deteriorated. Presentation of food is also not as expected, only best thing is that quantity is good. The staff is OK and service is pretty fast. Last but not the least, other dine-in Chinese restaurants are better........i will prefer Dynasty for home delivery as quantity is good.

Mainland China, a renowned Pan-Asian restaurant with over 50 outlets across the country, has recently undergone a revamp. The classy interiors make it perfect for family gatherings and intimate dinners. The new 5-course set menu offers a variety of options including soups, small dishes, dim sums, main courses, staples, and desserts.
Delicious indo-chinese food. Was here on a Sunday after many years. I was offered two options: order A-la-carte or a fixed brunch menu (unlimited food for ₹1400). Went with the brunch menu and I got to try a bunch of different appetisers and entrees. Loved the lemongrass cheesecake which was basically a cheesecake with subtle hints of lemongrass. Great service by Dinesh, Abhishek (team led by Mr Sunil). Definitely recommend if you are craving indo-chinese food in Mumbai.

**A Flavorsome Journey at Mainland China, Marred by Service Hiccups** Mainland China has long been synonymous with exquisite flavors, but our recent visit left us with mixed feelings. While the food was undeniably stellar, the service fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, we noticed that another group, which came in after us, was promptly served their starters while we were left waiting. This preferential treatment was both puzzling and disappointing, as it was the first time we had encountered such an issue here. However, once the food did arrive, it was a true testament to the culinary artistry that Mainland China is known for. We began with the **Kimchi and Chicken Salad**, a refreshing medley of crisp greens and tender chicken, with the sharp tang of kimchi adding a vibrant contrast. Next came the **Corn and Water Chestnut Dumplings**, delightfully delicate with a satisfying crunch from the water chestnuts. The **Shrimp Dumplings** were silky and succulent, bursting with oceanic sweetness, while the **Basil-Flavored Chicken Dumplings** carried a beautifully herbaceous aroma that lingered on the palate. The **Drums of Heaven Hong Kong Style** arrived next, and while the texture was spot-on—crispy on the outside and juicy inside—the sweetness of the sauce was slightly overpowering for my taste. The **Fish in Soy Chilli Garlic** was an absolute standout, the tender fish absorbing the deep umami of soy, the heat of chili, and the warmth of garlic in perfect harmony. Moving on to the main course, the **Lotus Stem, Asparagus, and Pakchoy in Chilli Basil Sauce** was a delightful combination of crunch, spice, and fresh, earthy flavors. The **Corn and Potato in Hosing Hoy Style** was equally delicious, offering a balance of sweetness and savoriness. The **Shrimps in Black Pepper Sauce** brought a bold kick of heat, perfectly complementing the seafood’s natural sweetness. Accompanying these dishes, the **Vegetable and Burnt Garlic Fried Rice with Chicken** had just the right amount of smokiness, while the **Wok-Tossed Chicken Hakka Noodles** were light yet flavorful, providing the perfect vehicle for the rich sauces of the main dishes. Dessert was the perfect ending to our meal. The **Honey Noodles with Vanilla Ice Cream** were a delightful play on textures, with crispy, caramelized noodles meeting the cool, velvety smoothness of the ice cream. The **Mango Soufflé** was airy, luscious, and packed with the tropical sweetness of ripe mangoes—a true showstopper. While the ambience was warm and inviting, the **service left much to be desired**. A restaurant of this caliber should ensure that every guest receives equal attention and timely service. Despite the initial disappointment, the food lived up to expectations, making it a place worth visiting—**if only the service matched the excellence of the cuisine**.

This place has been around for ages so needs no introduction but I guess they've added new things to their menu from last time. Anyway, I'd say overall the meal experience was alright, not too special. They got a 4 rating because their prawns Cheng fun was amazing, it's fun to watch soy being poured over the hot dish. The paneer in the paneer chilli was not good, tasted a little too off, flavour was all just in the coating. The veg burnt garlic rice was absolute nonsense. Hardly any burnt garlic, what even is the point. The lamb chilli wasn't so bad, worth a shot I guess. Chicken chilli gravy was spectacular. No doubt about it. So was the Exotic vegetable 1, I forgot to click a picture of it but it has a really good gravy. I think if the rice and paneer didn't ruin the experience, overall the food would've been perfect.

My family recently decided to indulge in Mainland China's buffet and ended up having a spectacular time. It was a truly delightful culinary experience from start to finish. The journey began with a range of mouth-watering appetizers that immediately set the tone. We sipped on piping hot Veg Hot & Sour Soup and Chicken Sweet Corn Soup—both bursting with rich flavors. The Chicken Basil Dumplings were tender, juicy, and fragrant with fresh basil, while the Vegetarian Dumplings was filled with finely chopped veggies. There was Crispy Vegetables and Cottage Cheese Soya Chilli Garlic which was a standout among the vegetarian starters, offering a perfect balance of spice and umami. Among the non-vegetarian options, Chicken Hunan Style brought bold flavors with a hint of smokiness, and the Fish Pepper Garlic had a deliciously crisp texture and we just couldn't resist having more of it. For add-on beverages, we went with a Classic Mojito, a Peach Iced Tea and a Fresh Lime Soda. Moving on to the mains, we enjoyed a generous spread including Wok Tossed Hakka Noodles, Chicken Fried Rice, and Fish in Green Garlic Sauce. The Smoked Chilli Chicken packed a punch, and the Prawns in Singaporean Chilli Sauce were perfectly cooked and coated in a spicy-sweet glaze. To end on a sweet note, the dessert spread featured brownies, honey noodles, mousse, pastry, fresh fruits, custard, and ice cream—a heavenly variety for any sweet tooth. Really enjoyed the brownie and the mousse. Overall, the buffet at Mainland China absolutely lives up to its reputation, offering a well-rounded fine dine experience. This was the third time I visited the Mainland China buffet in Veera Desai and wasn't disappointed at all.

Located in the heart of Bandra, The Bagel Shop is a cozy and inviting cafe known for its freshly baked bagels, creative sandwiches, and specialty coffees. It's a popular spot for freelancers and remote workers seeking a sense of community while they work. The cafe offers a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with covered outdoor tables, making it an ideal place to enjoy delicious bagel sandwiches, soups, salads, and innovative flavors like Nutella and Babka.

Great for both socializing and working!

Had breakfast at The Bagel Shop, Pali Hill and really liked the overall vibe of the place. The ambience is cozy and laid-back, but since it’s all outdoor seating (or at least mostly), it wasn’t the most comfortable experience in Mumbai’s hot and humid weather. Definitely something to keep in mind depending on the season or time of day you visit. What we tried: • French Toast – Soft, subtly sweet, and comforting. A great start to the morning. • Eggs Benedict – Nicely made and full of flavor. Really enjoyed this!

Visited Bagel Shop for lunch on this quiet Friday afternoon. As expected, the place was largely occupied by people working away in their laptops in quiet corners. Food: 4/5 We had the Smoked Chicken Ham Bagel & Vegan Classic Bagel. Both of which were amazing. Also loved the quality of the bagel itself. We also ordered the buttermilk fried chicken burger which was very mediocre with a very thick bun and not enough ingredients inside the burger apart from the chicken. Dessert: 5/5 We had the Chocolate Fudge Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream. It was really good. Ambience: 1/5 A lot of their indoor seating isn't really great and you're just too close to other tables. Outdoor seating is too hot. In a way one could call this place "cute" but that just means it's too cramped. Service: 4/5 Decent service. Nothing to write home about but nothing bad either. Staff was attentive and knew to recommend items off the menu well.

The food here is high priced in comparison to the quality, quantity and overall experience. The bagels were stale and difficult to chew. The waiter suggested we have masala omlette and they charged additional Rs.62 for masala! Also, the taste was ordinary. Plus, the menu mentioned 10 pc service charge! Which is not only unethical but illegal too! Highly disappointed and not recommended!

This place has been cosily located at Pali Hill since years and has always been a quaint and cosy place. It's perfect for a quiet time with family or friends catching up or even a date. Food is top notch and the service too. Ambience is the best it can be considering the location in the heart of the village. Not much parking around for cars but its worth finding a spot and still making it to Bagel Shop. It's pet friendly too and they also have a decent pet menu... How cool is that?

Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Malad, Uncle's Kitchen has been a beloved Chinese eatery since 1987. This iconic restaurant boasts a casual and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying familiar favorites with friends or family. With its simple decor and bright lighting, it feels like home away from home. While it may not offer fine dining, its popularity speaks volumes; locals have cherished this spot for decades as the go-to place for Indianized Chinese cuisine.
All I can say is that Uncle's Kitchen is legendary! The food is just amazing and hits the taste buds just right. Visiting India after a while and first thing on the agenda was to come here again and the food quality and flavor is still the same. My best wishes to Uncle's Kitchen and wish you continued success:)

A Long-Time Favorite That Never Disappoints This place has been a go-to for many over the years, and for good reason. Their Chicken and Mushroom Pot Rice is a standout – hearty, delicious, and full of flavor. The menu offers a great selection of starters, making it easy to find something for every taste. They've recently expanded by opening a new restaurant in Dubai, so fans can now enjoy their favorites in a new location as well. A must-try spot! Would you like to add any personal touch or specific dishes from the starters section?

I recently visited Uncle's Kitchen in Malad and had a good experience overall. We were seated near the AC, which was comfortable, and the ambiance was quite pleasant. Although the place was a bit loud due to the crowd, it added to the lively vibe. I ordered the Prawns Chilli and Hot Chilli Fried Rice both dishes were flavorful, but I especially enjoyed the fried rice. It had just the right balance of spice and taste.Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to explore more items on the menu, but I’m definitely looking forward to trying more dishes on my next visit!

Have always loved the food here. It's authentic Indian Chinese and the taste hasn't changed one bit. This time was a bit different though. Everything except the Dry Manchurian was good. Veg Crispy was also okayish but the manchow soup, fried rice and gravy Manchurian was simply out of the world Service is mostly self service there so not sure why they've kept so many waiters. The least they can do is serve in plates which sometimes happens if you sit in the AC section Overall a good experience as always and would definitely go back here for Chinese every single time I get an opportunity

Long time local favorite in Orlem, Malad. The food did not disappoint. You can tell that there are many regulars that come here often. Everything was really good even though there is no dessert or alcohol served which would have been the cherry on top!

We wanted to eat Chinese, so we searched nearby and Maps showed this place. We went there and there was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. Then we sat downstairs in the non-AC section, and for starters, we had lollipop chicken, and it was amazing. After that, we had Singapore and Schezwan fried rice. Their Schezwan is different and tasty. Definitely visit and try it. For Chinese lovers.
Nitesh P — Google review
Uncle's Kitchen is great, established since 1987, their Indo-Chinese food is amazing, I ordered Chicken Manchow Soup and Chicken Fried Rice, it was delicious, quantity and quality were excellent, staff was helpful, overall experience was fantastic, food was tasty, and I highly recommend this place.
Ganesh B — Google review
Total waste of money. We ordered for almost ₹2,000.. Singapore fried rice, Chicken Chilly fried rice, Chicken Schezwan fried rice, Veg Manchurian, and Chicken Lollipops and every single dish was a disaster. The food was barely edible as some items were uncooked, some had a foul smell, and others tasted stale like they were prepared long ago. The Chicken Schezwan fried rice was the worst, one of us literally puked after eating it, and the rest of us didn’t even dare to touch it after that. Plus the Veg Manchurian was absolutely sour and bitter, like spoiled stuffing, not so fresh. If I could rate this below 1 star, I absolutely would. We were excited for a good lunch, but it was completely ruined. Pure waste of money and such a huge disappointment. Uncle’s Kitchen has gone drastically downhill will never recommend it to anyone, nor will I ever order from here again.

The lebanese restaurant ITHAKA (VEG LEBANESE KITCHEN) is a nice place to try different flavours of Lebanese cuisine. The mezzo platter is a good way to start and the pizzas and ravioli are also popular choices.
Good restaurant, chilled vibe. Lebanese food was good. You can order food from 3 restaurants under one roof. Riso has a "Julia Roberts' pizza"😅

Good place to try not so Indian food. This place is combination of 3 restaurants, Ithaka, Riso and Firki On head board Ithaka was missing but if u see Firki and Riso then it's the same place. It's location is opposite to pheonix mall. We tried pizza, sizzler, Nacho, lazania, enchiladas. Pure veg place offering decent varieties which is different from routine sabzi roti types. Only thing is u have to take efforts to read 3 different menu to decide what u want to have. Nevertheless food was good and u can surely plan with friends and family

Nice ambience and music. The food taste and quality is fairly good. Fairly ok Variety of authentic Lebanese food. The regular hummus, falafels and cold and hot mazze Weekdays there are lunch combos available and don’t forget to ask for these combos offers, the staff will not inform you about them.
Dhara P — Google review
We have the cheese nachos from Riso and they were great! The Quesadilla was great and the sour cream sauce that came along was divine, but they only had 4 portions. The Turuk Hummus had great texture and taste but it was a little bland as I lean more towards the spicier side. Lastly the tex-mex Fondue was great and the veggies along with it were fresh and seasoned well. Only issue would be the lighting/ambience over all was a little gloomy. Besides that all great!
Scupas 2 — Google review
The place is decent for someone who wants to try new flavours. We ordered Peta bread with Hummus, a Lebanese pizza and Ravioli Pasta. While I personally liked the taste a friend of mine didn't really enjoy anything apart from the Peta bread. If trying for the first time maybe start with one dish at a time and follow with more if you like it.

I recently dined at Fikri in Lower Parel, Mumbai, and I must say, the restaurant truly impressed me with its diverse menu. From Lebanese to Indian to Italian cuisine, each dish was bursting with flavor. The restaurant's ability to excel across such a wide range of cuisines is truly commendable. Whether you're in the mood for rich Indian spices, savory Lebanese delights, or comforting Italian classics, Fikri delivers a fantastic dining experience that caters to all taste preferences. Highly recommended for food enthusiasts looking for a flavorful journey!

So the place was under renovation & it was stinking of paint & pest control. But the staff were very polite & service was all round good. The veg cream soup was deliciously thick. We also order a roisti which was good, but honestly not worth what they are charging. All in all 3 stars is because of the friendly staff. Else it would have been rated as 2 stars because they should be closed for business when conducting renovation work. The stink when we entered was too much.

Noor Mohammadi Hotel & Restaurant, located on South Mumbai's iconic Mohammad Ali Road, is a renowned establishment known for its delectable kebab platter and the famous Chicken Sanju Baba, popularized by Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. The restaurant also offers a variety of dishes such as Paya, Bheja Fry, and Chicken Hakimi.
Noor Mohammadi Restaurant offers fantastic food with top notch quality. The taste is truly delightful and the portion size and preparation reflect their high standards. It's one of those places that leaves a lasting impression on your taste buds highly recommended for food lovers. However please note that the restaurant is located in a very crowded area so finding car parking is nearly impossible. It's best to reach the place on foot or by using public transport. Also due to its popularity the waiting time can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour especially during peak hours. Still the amazing food and quality make it worth the wait.

Not worth the hype. Though people say it’s famous but we found it very unhygienic. Photo of walls inside attached, you can see the gunk on walls and decoration. The washroom is in worst condition & smells bad. It can easily make you vomit. When their basic hygiene is worst, how can you expect them to have a clean kitchen & food hygiene?? Speaking of which, the dishes we ordered were loaded with oil and butter, - cholesterol packed - photos attached. We had to drain extra oil & grease before eating. Chicken was hard and not fully cooked also. Rabadi sweet was average too served with plastic spoons. This restaurant is always full of people, I wonder how the owners and staff don’t attend to their basic & food hygiene. Pls don’t go to this place if you care about your health.

I've been here in Mumbai since Dec 2024 and I am writing this today ( 28 sept 2025) and I must tell you that the food here is amazing. I have seen the same thick redish gravy everywhere but here I got that little thin homlike gravy which was so good. I ordered chicken korma ( main course) with rotis (eat anyone it was better than the other restaurants) and chicken kebab and tandoori chicken (in starters) Food - solid 4 Accessibility -4 Ambience - 4 Staff - 4 Overall - solid 4 It was yummy 😋

It's just hyped. nothing that interesting the sheek kebab was just OK you will get much better in other next small hotels... Chicken Sanju Baba is just Average chicken gravy and their worst dish is chicken biryani.. I mean the most tasteless biryani I have eaten is of this place.

First ate here ~6 years ago. Was amazing then, one of the best restaurants in India I'd ever been to. Have been back every year or two since and the quality has dropped to almost nothing now. I'd love to see someone take the original recipes and execute them somewhere else but with quality ingredients and proper care. tl;dr: not what it used to be.

I recently visited Noor Mohammad Hotel after hearing a lot of hype, but honestly, it was a huge disappointment. I ordered Chicken Sanjubaba and Mutton Nihari — both dishes were tasteless and full of oil. There was no real flavor in the gravy; it felt more like spiced oil than a proper curry. I really regret going there. Definitely not worth the hype or the price. Would not recommend

Nestled in a quaint lane near Shivaji Park, Oven Fresh Restaurant Dadar is a delightful gem that goes beyond the ordinary bakery experience. This charming spot offers an inviting atmosphere where you can indulge in not just delectable pastries and cakes but also a diverse menu featuring Italian, Mexican, and Mediterranean cuisine. The warm ambiance makes it an ideal place to savor their specialties like exquisite birthday cakes and savory pastries. Don't be fooled by its simple decor; the desserts here are truly exceptional!

I have visited here ever since it was small and cramped but they have kept up the quality and customer service. Except for the pizza , everything we ordered was good

Oven Fresh is a mini retail and restaurant specializing in oven-baked delights, including a range of cakes, cookies, pastries, desserts, and pizzas. Today, we tried a variety of dishes:- - Garlic Bread: 3⭐️ - Signature Nachos: 3⭐️ (a bit cold and soggy) - Crispy Paneer in Black Pepper Sauce: 5⭐️ - BBQ Pizza: 4⭐️ - Tortellini in Cream Sauce Pasta: 4.5⭐️ - Turkish Cigar Roll: 4⭐️ - Pappardelle Kebab Mushroom Pasta: 5⭐️ While the flavors were outstanding, I felt that the quantity could be more considering the prices. Additionally, enhancing the lighting in the ambiance would create a more inviting atmosphere. Overall, I rate my experience at 4.5/5 ⭐️

Sky S — Google review
We had a wonderful lunch earlier this month at the Oven Fresh restaurant, Shivaji Park. First and foremost, hats off to Ms. Arpita. We have been to many restaurants having menus with unknown dishes, and it is the first time that the person serving us actually knew the exact ingredients of all dishes on the menu! When asked about a particular dish, Ms. Arpita immediately knew what it contained and whether or not it was spicy without having the necessity to rush to the kitchen each time to inquire with the chef. Well done! We were also happy to have hot food for the Wok (set on a stand with a candle beneath). The restaurant ambience is fine, but insufficient for a group larger than 6-7 as it is cramped and everyone does like sufficient elbow room. The music was a tad loud when we entered, but they lowered it at our request. Coming to the food- the prices are very high, but we were aware of the same and had decided nevertheless to come here as we had dined here earlier a few times and were keen to try out their new menu. What was disappointing was not the food but the quantity (that is why the 4 stars and not 5). The Wok mentioned an elaborate list of ingredients and we assumed it would be a large bowl, but when it arrived, it turned out to be a small bowl (see the photo - it is a bit blurred though) while the rice which came with it (we ordered steamed rice as we did not want noodles) was in a mid-size bowl. For the price of Rs.850/- the bowl of veggies was ridiculously small. The dish of jackruit enchiladas was ok, nothing exceptional, and the cucumber-mint-apple juice- genoa lemon cooler was a bit sour, with an excess of mint leaves. The dish of the day was the appetizer we had - absolutely unique! Our favourites - Beverages: the spicy pear, apple punch (don't miss this!); and the watermelon, basil, lime cooler Soup: Asparagus endamame (most interesting and something you must try) Sandwich: Jalapeno, hummus, tabbouleh, multigrain (packed with flavours and sufficiently filling) Appetizer: Parsley tabbouleh, mango, beetroot hors d'oeuvres (outstanding!) By all means dine here if you are willing to spend on a grand meal, but don't expect too much in terms of quantity especially if you are in a group of three or more and hope to share. Dishes like the sandwich, appetizer and the wok we had are not sufficient to be shared. You won't have enough for yourself if you want to politely share! Two things to note- 1. 6.5% discount if you pay by cash/Gpay and a 5% discount if you pay by credit/debit card 2. Check the bill. If the service charges have been added, you can request them to remove it and it is up to you to give a tip (we did because they deserved it) Thanks to the team - Ms. Arpita, Mr. Ismail, and Mr. A. Ali (not sure if I can recall the third name correctly - apologies if it is incorrect) for their non-intrusive, outstanding service. Non-intrusive because at no time they rushed to clear the table or interrupt our dining experience to inquire if we required anything more. They waited till we called them to order the next dish. Thanks to Deepak, too, at the entrance who held the taxi door open for my elderly relatives. Due to the less quantity for the high price, we may not dine here as frequently as we would have liked to, but perhaps we will return for some other special occasion to try out some more of the unique dishes - with better quantity :)

BY accident I visited this place while roaming around at lunch time. The place is nice & spacious, but lacks space for parking, can park few your 2 wheelers nearby but not sure about cars. Ambiance looks nice but feels bit old school, gives vibe of 90s- 2000s. Was also quite as me being only customer around 2.30pm. maybe at evening it would be happening. Before my food could arrive, waiter served some fried noodles with Schezwan & chilli sauce (timepass) which was good gesture. Food I order was good in taste and was more than enough for 1 person. The dish quantity is good enough for 2 people. Overall good experience if you are craving for good Chinese food with good place to sit and relax with friends and family.

Nestled in the heart of Bandra West, Nom Nom: Asian Bar & Eatery is a delightful haven for lovers of Pan-Asian cuisine. This charming restaurant boasts an inviting ambiance with its wooden decor and high ceilings, creating a cozy yet spacious environment perfect for any occasion. As you step inside, you're greeted by beautifully designed interiors that reflect the rich essence of South Asian culture.
Nom nom is one of my absolute favourite places to be at. All of their food tastes really good and they have too many vegetarian options to choose from. Things I would recommend: Truffle edamame dumpling, water chestnut asparagus dumpling, coriander chilly noodles, Thai curry, sushi’s. Do not recommend: Miso soup, also the turnip cake if you’re not looking to have something oily. Overall if you’re looking for a place to have a nice conversation and some good food, then definitely recommend this place.

Tried out Nom Nom on Linking Road, Bandra recently. The food is quite good — I personally love their Khow Suey, which stands out on the menu. The place feels a bit overpriced considering the overall ambiance and portion sizes. Still, if you’re in the area and craving some pan-Asian flavors, it’s worth a visit — just be ready for a slightly premium bill.

Food: The menu offers a great selection catering to all palates. The sushi rolls, dim sum, and curries are some of the highlights. Their Thai curries, are well-balanced and aromatic. For sushi lovers, the sushi platters offer a good variety with fresh ingredients. Service: The staff is courteous and attentive, always ready to suggest the best items on the menu based on preferences. They are quick to respond, and the service is timely, making the overall dining experience pleasant. Ambiance: The restaurant's atmosphere is chic yet comfortable, ideal for both casual outings and special dinners. It works well for groups as well as intimate dinners. The seating is spacious, and the soft background music adds to the calming vibe. Price: Nom Nom is moderately priced considering the quality and portion sizes, making it a good value for money for a premium dining experience

I chose the five course lunch from a fixed selection menu. The selections were great, the portions just right and all very delicious For the extremely reasonable price equivalent to AU$14. Being Australian I of course had several beers during the course of lunch, which increased the final bill a little lol. The service was great, very attentive. Choice of indoor or balcony dining, I chose the balcony as the humidity wasn’t too bad and they had ample evaporative Aircon on the balcony. I will most certainly be going there again, and thoroughly recommend it .

The ambiance of the restaurant was equally impressive. The decor is stylish and inviting, creating a cozy and elegant atmosphere. It's a great place for a relaxing meal with friends or family. Overall, I highly recommend Nom Nom Restaurant for its excellent food and lovely ambiance.

Gypsy Chinese is a well-regarded Chinese restaurant in Mumbai, situated in the lively Dadar neighborhood. The restaurant boasts a cozy and inviting ambiance with tasteful decor, creating a warm and comfortable setting for a casual meal with friends or family. Visitors have praised the establishment for its extensive vegetarian menu, featuring fresh and flavorful dishes that cater to vegetarians. The quality of ingredients used in the meals has been highlighted as exceptional, providing delicious and satisfying dining experiences.
Gypsy corner: This has been my go to place since 7-8 years now. I have tried every single item on their menu right from the regulars to the specials and also the rarer festival specific ones. Come here for an authentic and wholesome maharashtrian food experience. They have a wide menu from all day breakfast items to chats, pavbhaji and bhakri bhaji. Staple bhaji available daily are zunka, pithla, bharit and bharleli vangi apart from daily special bhaji. Choose any one with tandalachi/jowar bhakri and you have a meal at your hands with thecha and kanda. Top it off with varan bhat ani tup plate. If you get chance to come on Chaturthi or during Ganesh festival, do not miss their Ukdiche modak. This place is love and comfort and same time. All servers are so kind and lovely that you feel like coming back again and again. Never do they ever forget to smile and greet their regulars(me). Catching one odd glimpse of some Marathi celeb here is not that uncommon too, so keep your cameras handy everyone. Highly recommended.

Gypsy Corner in Mumbai is a cherished spot for authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. Their daily changing menu offers a variety of home-cooked style dishes, ensuring a unique experience with each visit. Personal favorites include the bhakri and vangyacha bharit combo, which exemplify the rich flavors of traditional Maharashtrian fare. However, the masala bhat was slightly disappointing due to its dryness. Despite this, Gypsy Corner remains a go-to destination for genuine regional cuisine.

I’ve tried Pav Bhaji, Misal Pav, and Ghavan at this place and overall the taste was good, though not exceptional or something that makes you want to come back immediately. The Pav Bhaji is served with a generous quantity of bhaji, which at first seems nice but actually pushes customers to order extra pav. This feels like a slightly annoying strategy and can also lead to food being wasted. Misal tasted quite good and Ghavan was just as usual. Overall, it’s a decent option to try but not exactly a great or standout experience.

If you’re craving a true taste of Maharashtra in the bustling heart of Mumbai, this authentic Maharashtrian cuisine restaurant near Shiv Sena Bhavan and Shivaji Park, Dadar, is a culinary gem that should not be missed. Location: The restaurant is situated in a prime spot in Dadar, one of Mumbai’s most iconic neighborhoods. It’s easily accessible and surrounded by cultural landmarks, making it an ideal pit stop for locals and tourists alike. The area’s vibrant atmosphere complements the homely yet rich culinary experience offered here. Ambience: The interiors reflect a simple and traditional Maharashtrian theme. No frills — just clean, modest seating with a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff is courteous and attentive, giving you that familiar, homely service typical of regional eateries. Food: Every dish served here speaks volumes about the restaurant’s commitment to authentic Maharashtrian flavors. We tried a variety of items, and each one was packed with traditional taste and freshness. • Masale Bhat: A fragrant, spiced rice preparation bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced with Maharashtrian masalas. A must-try for anyone new to the cuisine. • Matki chi Usal with Ghavan: A delightful and hearty combination — the matki usal (sprouted moth beans curry) was earthy and comforting, paired perfectly with soft, lace-like ghavan (a traditional rice crepe). • Mini Batata Vada: Crispy on the outside, soft and spicy inside, served with chutney that elevated the flavor. A perfect snack to begin your meal. • Thalipeeth: Nutritious, filling, and flavorful — this multigrain flatbread was served with homemade white butter and chutney, giving it an authentic village touch. Beverages: • Chaas (Buttermilk): Light, refreshing, and perfectly seasoned — a traditional cooler ideal with a spicy meal. • Limbu Sarbat: Sweet, tangy, and refreshing — an excellent choice for a sunny day. • Cold Coffee: Surprisingly good for a regional eatery — thick, creamy, and chilled to perfection. Overall Experience: This restaurant truly delivers on its promise of authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. The flavors are genuine, the portions generous, and the prices reasonable. It’s the kind of place that takes you back to a traditional Maharashtrian home kitchen. Verdict: If you’re in Dadar and want to experience real Maharashtrian food beyond the usual misal pav or puran poli clichés, this is the place to be. Every dish feels like it’s been prepared with care and cultural pride. Highly Recommended.

We visited Gypsy in Dadar after hearing a lot of good reviews. And on weekdays the rush were okayish at 8 PM . We ordered the Burnt Garlic Noodles and Chilli Paneer the food was really good, and i love the flavours. However, the service was disappointing. We had to ask three times just to get drinking water. We ordered three soups, but they gave us only one bowl of fried noodles. When we asked for two more (since we were three friends) the waiter rudely said, “Itna to khatam karo pehle,” which I found very unprofessional and disrespectful. In a restaurant where you’re paying ₹300+ for a simple soup, it’s not wrong to ask for something small like extra spring onions ( as I loved to top it) Even roadside Chinese stalls give it happily. But here, when I asked, the same rude waiter said, “Yaha nahi milega.” Later, we had to request the manager, who gave it to us. Restaurants charge service fees, which is fine if the service is actually good. But in this case, the service didn’t match the standards and it felt unfair to pay extra for such rude behavior so we removed it . We had come all the way from Colaba to Dadar in our short one day trip just to try Gypsy but the poor service and rude staff made the whole experience unpleasant and disappointing. When we shared our complaint with the head manager, they just ignored us . This review is for the management and owner -please don’t disrespect your customers. When people are spending thousands, they deserve at least decent and polite service.

A must-visit place for good Chinese food! The ambiance is pleasant and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. We ordered prawn rolls, Manchurian rice, and Manchow soup, and wrapped it up with a dessert. The flavors were on point, and the portion sizes were generous. Definitely worth trying if you're craving Chinese cuisine!
Vaishnavi L — Google review
Tried this Chinese restaurant recently — the food was absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were generous, easily enough for two people. We especially enjoyed the flavors during our dine-in lunch. That said, the service left a bit to be desired — staff seemed disorganized, and the seating area felt quite cramped, which made the overall dining experience a bit uncomfortable. We also placed a takeaway order after lunch, but unfortunately, the chicken fried rice we received had no chicken in it. It may have been an honest mistake by the kitchen, but still worth noting. Overall, great taste and value for food lovers, but there’s definitely room for improvement in service and attention to detail.

This charming little chain offers a delightful array of quick-fix pizzas, pastas, secondi dishes, and fresh salads that are perfect for any craving. Their seafood chowder is particularly noteworthy—packed with an abundance of fish and prawns, it’s hearty enough to stand alone as a meal!
A must try place in Bandra. Budget friendly. One of the best pasta and pizza in Bandra.Try out Alfredo and Lasagna Bolognese, the best here.

The Tuna sandwich was good. The Ricotta pizza was alright. The service overall was good. Friendly waiters, although they did bring the wrong order out the first time (we ordered thin crust but they brought regular).

The aglio olio pasta is one of the best for the price and the pizzas are amazing too.

The food they serve are delicious. I liked the BBQ pizza and the lasagna. Even their chocolate fudge was gud.

I literally loved this place. Though we went on odd hours , it was full with people. We ordered a farmhouse pizza and garlic bread with cheese. The garlic bread was really very good. Tough to match that taste. Pizza was cooked to perfection . The staff was nice and friendly and served well. Though Mumbai has much bigger pizza places, one should surely go for this small little place downside.
Nalini G — Google review
I ordered in from this place. Delivery was pretty quick on a weekend afternoon and food was delivered hot. The pizza was excellent with a well cooked crust and a healthy load of toppings. It lived up to its Italian flavour albeit a little bland. Pasta was a measly quantity and wouldn't fill even one moderate eater. To make it worse, it was very liquid with the sauce making the bulk of the already poor quantity. It was quite bland and begged for seasoning which wasn't provided. All in all, the food was made well and is worth a try.

Pronto Pizza & Pasta is located at Hill Road, Bandra. Your food is much better now than what it was 2 years ago. I enjoyed the Chilli pickle pepper tuna roll(it was not spicy at all!), Burnt Mushroom Garlic basil soup, Alfredo pasta, Chilli Cheese toast. Can't wait to taste some more dishes, I'm sure they will be tasty! Price was normal and good service. Keep it up!

This place has some really great sushi. The preparation was really fresh and tasted better than most professional restaurants I have had at. The packaging was neat too. You need to place the order a day in advance. Be careful with the wasabi though, it is one of the most potent ones you have ever had :)
