Noodle shop
Restaurant
Mì Quảng Thi, also known as Quang-Style noodles, is a renowned dish in Danang, Vietnam. The name "Mì" refers to noodles while "Quảng" represents the Quang Nam province, which Danang was once a part of. This flavorful dish comes in various types such as pork and shrimp, chicken, frog meat, duck, beef, eel, boiled quail eggs or jellyfish.
Awesome food. I'll rate 8/10.. I ordered Mi Quang Ga and it's just as I expected. And costs are comparatively cheaper..30k VND is 10/10 for what I ordered. Will definitely go there again. :)
Abin J — Google review
Delicious local dishes of noodles and pork, chicken, fish, eggs and shrimp to choose from with a bowl of greens for good price. Also the owner of this cafe is very nice 😊
Datelight — Google review
So happy to find this place. Had the one with pork and shrimp and also one with chicken. One bowl costs only 20k. That is super cheap for the portion you get. Bowl contains rice noodles, peanuts, quails eggs, super tasty broth, lettuce, herbs, banana blossom. Just squeeze little bit of lime juice in it and enjoy!!! Oh and don’t forget to order grilled rice paper to add some crunch to your meal. Can’t wait to go back!
Lukas R — Google review
I swear you can’t trust these google recommendations or reviews. The food was sitting out in the open air at room temperature (food poisoning 101…). The tables were dirty, a rat ran across our feet in the restaurant, and the eggs tasted off. Save yourself the time.
Elliot F — Google review
Ordered the chicken & egg. It was OK until the 3rd bite. From then on there were small fragments of sharp, very hard bone in every bite. Really put me off this dish for a couple of days.
Ely H — Google review
Not as expected, I can get a very nice bowl of Quang Noodles in hcmc Cost me 55k for a bowl & 5k dong for pancake

Tasty, don‘t expect the owners to speak much english (menu is in english). Tasty Food and reasonable prices

Pancake restaurant
When visiting Da Nang, make sure to seek out Bánh Xèo Bà Dưỡng, a local favorite located down a small alley off Hoang Dieu Street. This eatery is renowned for its authentic bánh xèo, crispy savory pancakes filled with pork skewers, shrimp spring rolls, and fresh herbs.
ordered the bun thit nuong and 5 sticks of nem lui for 1 person — definitely way too much if youre not hungry i guess they really know what they’re doing cause it tastes amazing! the peanutty sauce went well with everything and the fresh greens with pickled veggies paired well with the grilled meat sticks too ❤️‍🔥 it was a bit of a find — had to drive in a small alley way, park on the left then walk further into the “seating area”
Si S — Google review
Excellent specializations in a focused menu, very popular with locals and tourists. Walking after a certain point might be easier as it's inside an alley. Prompt and friendly service, and the food's very quick to get to your table. Order everything on the menu and take some home if you can't finish. Banh xeo (stuffed crepe), la lot (grilled beef, marinated with garlic and spices, with betel leaf), and grilled pork skewers (nem lui) are accompanied by rice wrappers, salad greens, pickles, chilli sauce, and an excellent sweet-ish sauce with grill drippings. I had the passion fruit juice as well. Finish up with a nice cold coffee in the neighborhood with the locals. Ahh Vietnam!
Arnab P — Google review
Excellent Vietnamese spot tucked down a tiny alley — use Google Maps to find it! We tried all four dishes on the menu, and every single one was outstanding. They even serve Tiger Beer, which pairs perfectly with the food. Apparently Michelin-starred, and it tastes like it. The star of the show is the peanut dipping sauce — absolutely incredible. Be sure to mix it with their chili oil for the perfect balance of richness and heat.
CJ T — Google review
Absolutely loved the bun thit nuong and the bo nuong la lot, two of the best grilled meat dishes I've had in Vietnam, the sauce is excellent. The nem lui are nice but I've had better elsewhere. For the price this is such good value for money.
Simon H — Google review
Tucked down a busy lane and buzzing from open to close, Bánh Xèo Bà Dưỡng has that unmistakable Da Nang energy — hot griddles snapping, stacks of herbs on every table, and a steady flow of locals who clearly know the drill. It’s lively, fast, and completely irresistible. The Food Crisp meets tender in all the right ways. Fresh greens, warm rice papers, and bright dipping sauce pull everything together, keeping each bite light and satisfying. Flavors are clean and balanced — comforting without feeling heavy — and the kind of simple done exactly right. Service & Atmosphere Service is brisk and no-nonsense (in the best way). Orders land quickly, tables turn fast, and staff keep things moving with friendly efficiency. The room hums with conversation and clatter — classic, casual, and very Da Nang. More Details • Vegetarian options: Limited; ask for meat-free setups focused on herbs, greens, and wrappers. • Dietary restrictions: Fish sauce and peanuts are common; staff can suggest lighter or simpler setups if needed. • Parking: Street/curb parking nearby; busiest at dinner — scooters easiest. • Kid-friendliness: Great for families who like lively spots; quick service and shareable plates. • Wheelchair accessibility: Ground-level entry; aisles can be tight during peak hours — ask staff for a corner table if available. Final Take A Da Nang essential that delivers on crunch, freshness, and pure eating joy. Five stars for pace, flavor, and a classic local experience you’ll think about long after the last bite.
Calvin B — Google review
If you’re exploring the culinary delights of Đà Nẵng, Bánh Xèo Bà Dưỡng is a must-visit destination for authentic Vietnamese pancakes. Nestled in a quaint alley at 280/23 Hoàng Diệu Street, this eatery has been serving locals and tourists alike for over 40 years, earning its reputation as a staple in the city’s vibrant food scene. Bánh xèo, translating to “sizzling pancake,” is a crispy rice flour crepe filled with shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts. At Bà Dưỡng, the pancakes are smaller than their southern counterparts, about 20 centimeters in diameter, offering a perfect balance of crunch and flavor. Each serving comes with a generous platter of fresh herbs, pickled papaya, cucumber, and strips of eggplant. Diners are encouraged to wrap the pancake in rice paper, add the accompaniments, and dip it into the restaurant’s signature sauce—a rich blend of liver, peanuts, and sesame—that sets it apart from other establishments. The restaurant maintains a no-frills, bustling atmosphere, reflective of its humble beginnings as a street vendor stall. Despite its modest setting, the eatery is often packed, especially during peak hours, so arriving early is advisable.
Andy N — Google review
Affordable and good banh xeo! One plate comes with 8 pieces which is very filling. I regret not trying the grilled sticks because everyone was getting them and they appear as one of the main highlights of this restaurant as well. The banh xeo comes with banh trang and vegetables on the side. When you wrap them together, its very balanced. The sauce is a bit different as i was expecting nuoc mam, but their sauce paired really well with the banh xeo, and it was very delicious. Very crispy and refreshing! The restaurant is easy to find, but very busy. We came around 8pm. Finding a seat takes time but they do their best to seat you. Because it is so busy sometimes they forget things, such as my drink. Overall was very good to visit and their prices are reasonable for the quality.
Liky — Google review
Best Banh Xeo I’ve ever had. With the rice paper wrap and stuffed with papaya, vegetable & herbs, it was a heavenly combo of chewy & crunchy textures, and herbal, sour and savory flavors.

If you're wandering through Da Nang, make sure to stop by "Bún chả cá & bún riêu cua đồng Tuấn Mỹ." This charming eatery is a local gem known for its delicious fishcake noodle soup, a beloved dish among locals. Nestled in the heart of the city, it offers convenience alongside mouthwatering flavors. Diners rave about the fresh ingredients and generous portions that leave you feeling satisfied without breaking the bank.
Quick service and very flavorful broth. Loved how much protein they give you, and the portion is a great serving. Very fulfilling and would love to come back!

Tastes really good and fair prices. It's a bit small but that is not something to hold against them as that is the case for most places in Vietnam. Get their specials (both of them) and try the beef nem (only 5k).

Bistro
"Mít trộn Bà Già" is a popular street food snack in Da Nang, not a main dish. It's a light and healthy option for those looking for something different from the usual protein-heavy meals. The salad is known for its excellent flavor and unique combination of textures. Despite language barriers, the hospitality at this specialized salad restaurant is outstanding. Customers have praised the deliciousness of the salad, which includes pig ear as an ingredient but can be made without meat upon request.
What an experience! The salad was weirdly delicious with all the combination of flavors and texture. Their hospitality was impressive and outstanding though they couldn’t speak English at all. Shoutout to this place - must try guys !!
Kittt — Google review
After trying this mixed dish (a combination of thinly sliced boiled pork skin, shredded green papaya, and chopped unripe jackfruit), all that lingered on my palate was the overpowering presence of MSG. Even the addition of fish sauce failed to salvage the flavour of it. It dissapointingly lacks the rich blend of salty, sweet, sour, and spicy flavours that Vietnamese cuisine is known for, leaving it rather insipid. There are a few redeeming qualities to note. They were the cheap prices and the clean food preparation area. You will also find a stall selling banh mi stuffed with Bánh Bột Lọc (Vietnamese clear dumplings) at the same premise.
Genevieve V — Google review
According to the reviews, the price was 20,000 dong, but I paid 30,000 dong. It's not a matter of money, but this is the third time I've been overcharged as a foreigner in a Da Nang local restaurant. Honestly, I'm not happy about it. The taste was salty and not good.
Julie B — Google review
This is the only restaurant that I know specialized in salad. The salad is excellent, full of flavor. When I walked in, they did not even ask me what I wanted, they just gave me the 2 salads with pig ear, which I was not so keen on. I tried & it was not bad at all. The last 2 salad we had was without meat at my request using google translation. They were laughing about the request but happily accommodated to the request. It was a good experience to eat at a resto where mostly local goes, Thanks to the Utuber, Max McFarlin, I found this resto, we walked 8 km to eat this , it was worthy it.

Bánh Canh Ghẹ Quận Nhất - Cơ Sở Đà Nẵng offers a unique soup experience with its thick, chewy noodles and a gooey, flavorful broth. The restaurant provides a spacious and airy environment with friendly and enthusiastic staff. Diners praise the delicious noodle soup with rich toppings and express their intention to revisit. The overall dining experience is highly recommended for those looking to try something different.
The crab noodle soup is very good. A must try. The lemon tea and the passion fruit juice also nice. All with reasonable price. I'm happy with this meal and will visit again if we have chance to come Da Nang in future.
Cat C — Google review
Our first day back in Da Nang - my husband wanted to have some banh canh and found this place. The broth is nice with a good crab flavor. Overall, the dish and drinks were wonderful. It is a tad bit pricier but it was good!
Tammy N — Google review
The bowl of Banh Canh Ghe is great and savoury! The broth is vastly different from pho and recommended for people who wishes to try something other than pho. The fried dough stick complements the broth by dipping in it before eating. The snail stuffed w pork is also not as scary/exotic as others think! The taste profile is mainly just pork, and it goes well with the accompanying sauce.
Jonas N — Google review
We came in as a party of 5 and 1 of us found a big freaking fly in our bowl. Even after noticing the staff, they tried to ignore us and didn't even apologize. We only got the refund for the 1 bowl after approaching the owner, even though that fly must have been in the same pot that contaminated all the guests' food. The food was also nothing special aside from that. Consider saving yourself from the fly soup.
Nathan T — Google review
It actually has tapioca noodles and crab meat. It's not bad if youre craving banh canh cua. The passionfruit drink is really good but there's not much in it... making it expensive. I had a LOT of bones in my soup so be careful.
Elizabeth — Google review
Ordered two special. one with pig trotter. Overall, the noddle was pretty tasty and should not be missed if you are nearby. Pig trotter was nothing fabulous, so suggest the special without the pig trotter.

Bún chả cá Bà Hoa is a signature dish of Danang Cuisine, known for its delicious grilled fish cake noodles. The dish is made from fresh fish, typically mackerel, and cooked with a variety of vegetables such as cabbage, pumpkin, tomato, pineapple, and dried bamboo shoots to create a tasty and healthy broth.
good food! got the small portion, served in 1 minute lmaooo there are many old ladies in their matching top and bottom set running the place. place looks a little run down but definitely serving great food! the broth tastes light but rich in flavour. fish cakes were thick, something im not used to compared to the thin sliced chinese fishcakes but tastes fine as well — just like how fishcake tastes like 🤷🏻‍♀️ overall, good broth and noodles, first time trying the fish cakes so no comment!❤️‍🔥😌 ps. as i’m eating, theres a new customer coming to take away every 2 minutes — definitely popular with locals
Si S — Google review
The stock is rich and flavourful and the fishcake is wonderfully textured and tasty. Cheap and good comfort food. Lady chef is so friendly, but the server speaks no English and there is no English menu. But the good thing is that the menu is rather small.
Mr J — Google review
A good bowl of noodles. The broth is light, a little oily and a touch sour. The fish cake is tasty. Despite being a hot soup it’s a refreshing option in the heat. It didn’t blow me away but I liked it. Satisfying for 35K a bowl. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere typically local. A very decent budget option.
Manpuku W — Google review
From the sidewalk you can already feel the rhythm — steam drifting from the kitchen, bowls landing in quick succession, and a steady flow of locals who clearly know this is the spot. Inside, it’s bright, lively, and wonderfully no-frills. The Food Clean, balanced flavors with that light-but-satisfying profile Da Nang is known for. Everything arrives hot and fresh, with herbs and condiments that let you tune each bite exactly how you like it. Simple, confident, and consistent — the kind of bowl you finish to the last drop without thinking about it. Service & Atmosphere Service is brisk and friendly. Orders move fast, tables turn quickly, and the team keeps things tidy even at peak hours. It’s casual, energetic, and unmistakably local. More Details • Vegetarian options: Limited; this is a seafood-forward shop. • Dietary restrictions: Fish/seafood and fish sauce are common; staff can suggest lighter or simpler setups. • Parking: Street/curbside nearby; scooters easiest, dinner rush is busy. • Kid-friendliness: Lively and quick — great for families comfortable with a bustling room. • Wheelchair accessibility: Ground-level entry; aisles can be tight at peak times — ask for an edge table if available. Final Take A Da Nang essential — fresh, bright, and deeply comforting. Five stars for pace, flavor, and that classic local feel that keeps people coming back.

Impressive bun cha ca... starting with the stock, which has complexity and depth with great seafood flavor... then add fresh ingredients and fish cakes with a perfect texture. Sure, service and decor weren't great, but all was forgiven when I got into that outstanding bowl of soup.

Family restaurant
Bánh Xèo Bà Tuyết is a must-try when exploring Da Nang's street food scene. This small family-owned business has been serving up delicious dishes for four years, and it's no wonder why locals and visitors alike keep coming back. The crispy bánh xèo, lemongrass pork skewers, and nem lụi are among the favorites here. The flavorful fillings and perfectly balanced dipping sauces make for an unforgettable dining experience.
It's a very local spot that has been open for nearly 40 years. Their Bánh Xèo is crispy and delicious. The peanut sauce here suits me better than at other places, but I prefer to eat it with their "nước mắm" (fish sauce), which they make very well. The young lady who served my table couldn't have been sweeter or more helpful. The BBQ pork has a nice flavor as well. I love the homey vibe.
CURIOUS V — Google review
We went here twice in 3 days!! Wowwwww. I think this was the best banh xeo I’ve had in da nang. This place was delicious! It’s at the end of an alley, but don’t worry, there are signs that point to it. The banh xeo comes in orders of 2, except for the plain one, which comes with 4. One order of nem lui is 10 skewers, and I think 6 bo la lot is one order. Plenty of food for two people. 145k for 2 thap cam banh xeo, which has shrimp, beef and bean sprouts. 10 nem lui skewers 6 bo la lot And their meat dipping sauce is SOOOOO good. And just like any other place, keep an eye out for hairs in the banh xeo. The only time we found hair was when the younger guy was cooking
A N — Google review
Hidden gem where you can get crispy and fresh ban xeo. This place is tucked away in an alley. But, google map was accurate that it wasn’t hard to find it. The restaurant had roughly 8ish tables, so if you’re visiting there during peak time, there may be some waiting. I had BÁNH XÈO THẬP CẨM and BÚN THỊT NƯỚNG. The portion was very generous that my company and I couldn’t finish it. The foods were sweet in general, but the salad adds some freshness. However, if you’re not big fan of some herbs, be aware that it’s included in the salad.
Jieun Y — Google review
I had the betel leaf beef and the mixed banh xeo. It was scrumptious. I actually could have just only ordered banh xeo and still been full. Now I’m very very full. It feels like your mum cooked for you. It’s delicious and yet so simple. I was a bit unsure what was the polite way to eat it, and she even rolled one for me to show me the proportions. So sweet. I think the price is very fair. 60K for 2 banh xeo but they come every 5 min or so to check if you need more salad, or more sauce 🥹 so you definitely can get full for cheap. I wish I had room to try the pork. I really really loved it. They don’t speak English, but they are doing their best to accomodate, turn the fans on, whatever they can do for you.
Telaan D — Google review
It’s feel like u dinner at your friends house The taste of the food is easy to eat and can't stop eating. I ate a lot. It's the most delicious meal in Da Nang. I really want to go back to eat. I hope we meet next time. The staff in the shop is very good service. Help everything. Drive a motorcycle to park in the alley in front of the store.
Benjamin L — Google review
The best banh xeo I've eaten in Vietnam. Don't let the narrow alley it's on put you off. The food, service and the family that run it are top notch. The banh xeo is crisp, freshly cooked, and if you choose the thap cam option, studded with prawn and meat. The restaurant was very clean with auntie continually cleaning the tables. Highly recommend.

Pho restaurant
Located on Ngo Gia Tu across from the Chi Lang Stadium, Phở 75 is a must-visit spot for authentic pho in Da Nang. The restaurant offers delicious Pho Bo with generous portions of salad and soybean sprouts, along with spicy sauces and tasty bread upon request. Customers can choose between small or large bowls and enjoy quick, friendly service in a welcoming atmosphere. This underrated gem provides a great dining experience that's worth exploring.
I was scootering around and found this place in google maps. Love the yellow decor vibes. Super friendly owner who speaks a little Chinese too! I was hungry so I had both the dry and Pho Tai. Broth was flavourful and the meat was tender. Loved the extra touch of black pepper for that extra kick! Recommend this place on this side of the river! Super authentic and affordable.

Very underrated Pho Bo restaurant here in Da Nang. I tried a couple of Pho Bo’s all over Vietnam and this here is a great restaurant too. Firstly the taste is good, they give you also lots of salat, soy bean sprouts - and there are spicy sauces available and on request, you can also get some bread (which is tasty btw). You can choose between a small or a big bowl. The service was quick and friendly, the owner had a chat with us and all in all it’s a very nice place to hang out. It’s not just a restaurant it’s a place where you feel welcomed. Try and find out by yourself 👍

Delicious beef pho taste, altought it on the peppery and greeny side, but really nice. Portions are not big tho, more like medium size, and it comes with loads of greens as well as sprouts and all the possible sauces on a side. Pretty easy to find and you'll have the chance to cross the bridge if you live on the seaside. The owner was kind and attentive to me and locals appreciated my presence, perfect dish on a rainy and grey day here in da nang.

Hidden gem serving Southern Vietnamese Pho in the heart of Da Nang. Superbly flavoured soup and noodles with the beef (Tai) that I selected and which came with a huge basket of fresh herbs and lettuce. There's the obligatory jar of chilli jam with wedges of fresh limes and a bowl of bean shoots.
Chris G — Google review
Taste good. A little sweet so i add a little lime juice to balance the taste. I can really taste the stock. Price Vnd 50K PS:saw in the google maps close at thusday. But accidently i walk arround and it open I saw some review about the price difference between local and tourist but come one 10K it's not that much. Don't like it or don't trust the review don't go. But my own personal taste i quite like it

One of the best pho in Danang. I was at first a bit hesitant because of the reviews but it was sooo good! The portion was big, it was really hot, everything fresh, owner is really nice. We had the Pho Ga / chicken noodle soup. Big recommendation!

BÁNH TRÁNG THỊT HEO Quán Cốm Đại Lộc in Da Nang is a delightful restaurant known for its delicious food and enthusiastic service. The establishment prides itself on cleanliness, with a gentle and caring staff. Their dipping sauce is particularly noteworthy, offering just the right balance of flavors without being overpowering. The variety of specialties and overall deliciousness make it a worthwhile dining destination.
The big vegetable plate is impressive and we also git refilled free of charge. The food is authentic and really tasty. The most impressive thing is that it’s super clean here. You pay street food price but you get restaurant quality. Highly recommend! We will definitely come back here again and again. P.s. must try: Banh Trang cuon thit heo (specialty of Da Nang)

My favorite place to eat in Da Nang- my partner and I came here almost twice a week for a month. Firstly, the staff is the most welcoming and kind family. The food is so delicious- from the soup to the egg rolls you cannot go wrong choosing anything from the menu. & the price is unbeatable. We were so full only spending 100k dong. Perfect location near the Dragon Bridge. We will miss this restaurant so much!

Hờn Fishcake Noodle Soup is a traditional dish from Da Nang City, known for its reasonable prices and popularity among locals. The fish cakes are praised for their tasty and firm texture, complementing the savory flavor of the soup noodles with a hint of natural sourness from tomatoes and tamarind. Visitors appreciate the affordable prices that don't cater to tourists, making it a highly recommended dining spot.
Had this bowl of breakfast and truly enjoyed it! We had the mixed ingredients and loved everything inside. The soup is really refreshing and tasty without being salty. It has strong bamboo shoot taste which not all may enjoy but I definitely enjoy it. Also had the mackerel and it tasted really fresh. The veggie bowl was fresh. Very busy in the morning.

Very enjoyable bun cha ca. The broth is rich and savory and the dac biet is packed with fish cakes, fish sausage and crab. Highly recommend. 50K for the dac biet. This place is constantly busy so be prepared to share a table.

I had the Bun Cha Biet, a noodle soup featuring fried and steamed fish cakes, and minced crab. This restaurant's preparation includes bamboo shoots, resulting in a distinctive local flavour profile. I also had a Rau Ma (Gotu kola) juice, which possessed a taste reminiscent of wheatgrass juice.

We are heading to a different Cha Ca restaurant nearby an our Grab just happened to mention that this place is really good it opened a lot longer so we decided to try it. It did not disappoint the food was so good and super cheap, We had the Bun Rieu, Bun Cha Ca & Bun Dac Biet. On top of that we didn't realize it was also a mission star recommended for 202 4 & 2025.

Ngoc L — Google review
Another small shop that was just listed in the Michelin Guide 2024, and it's absolutely worth visiting indeed! The fish cakes are flavorful and firm, the soup is so yummy and sweet and spicy once you add all the greens and several spoons of the pickled onions and peppers, and the rice noodles are silky and very satisfying. At US1.20 this is probably one of the most affordable, nutritious, delicious, and fantastic meals that you can find anywhere in the world at this point in time. Thank you, Da Nang and Vietnam, we truly love you! 👏🫰👏

Quán Đại Lộc is a popular restaurant in Da Nang, known for serving traditional Vietnamese cuisine. One of its specialties is banh trang cuon thit heo, which features thinly sliced pork belly accompanied by an assortment of fresh greens, rice noodle sheets, and thin rice paper. This dish is a local favorite but may have a strong aroma for some foreigners due to the fish sauce used in its preparation.
I enjoyed this place for its unique dipping sauce, unlike others. I wish they offered more lean pork options, like leg or shoulder, instead of just fatty belly. Still, the sauce compensated for it. I simply trimmed the fat and rolled with the lean meat. Would definitely recommend this place!
Hac N — Google review
A Unique Vietnamese Culinary Experience This bustling local gem offers an authentic and interactive experience built around bánh tráng (rice paper), paired with a vibrant medley of fresh herbs, cucumber, and green mango. Guests assemble their own rolls and dip them into a flavourful house-made sauce crafted from traditional ingredients – a harmonious balance of sweet, tangy, and savoury notes. One of the highlights is the hands-on preparation: a portion of hardened rice paper is softened in a tumbler of water, adding a playful element that excites both locals and tourists. This spot is immensely popular across all age groups – securing a seat, especially on weekends, is part of the adventure. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and experienced the full charm of the queue – a testament to the restaurant’s fame and loyal customer base.

Small and cheap menus to order. Rice paper and water for making your own summer rolls are provided, along with a large plate of salad and some cucumber and mango strips for filling. Ordered: • Pork belly (9/10) -> recommended • Noodle soup (7/10) Price: about €2.50–3 per dish

The pork rice paper rolls at Dai Loc are seriously next level! The dipping sauce is amazing, and the basket of fresh greens is super generous — you can even get free refills if you’re a veggie lover like me. Perfect summer food — fresh, light, and super satisfying. The space is also great for family meals or hanging out with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

After watching a YouTuber try this place I thought I’d have to give it a try, they obviously have lower expectations than me. Had the crispy pork with rice paper. Pork was sliced so thin that you couldn’t actually taste it in the wrap as the other flavours are very overpowering. But on a positive note the beer was nice and cold. Place was also totally empty in the middle of lunchtime

Great for casual dining. I had the chicken My Quang for 35,000 dong, great price. The restaurant is probably known for their frog and eel noodles, as those were listed as top options. I like the upright seating, rather than squatting. The varieties of veggies look clean and abundant. Quick, fast service, and simple. On another note, if you like the Vietnamese chicken for their chewiness then this place has the meatier, softer, factory chicken kind, not the running Viet chicken. Good portion of chicken pieces too.

Chè Liên is a popular spot in Danang known for its delicious Thai melon tea and coconut milk. Despite its unassuming appearance, the shop offers quick and affordable service. Locals highly recommend trying their unique coconut jelly dessert, which combines sweet jelly, salty coconut milk soup, and ice for a perfect post-dinner treat. The pricing is reasonable, making it an affordable option for both locals and visitors alike.
Very popular amongst the locals. We were recommended to try it. The shop doesn't look very appealing, and I was tempted to remain in the Grab and ask them to take us somewhere else. You line up to order, which is quick and super cheap. You then go to the back to collect your order. Simple, refreshing Vietnamese che. I'm not sure I'd recommend it to any Westerners that aren't used to jelly and coconut based desserts, though. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will happily eat there again.

If you’re in Da Nang and craving a refreshing, sweet treat, Chè Liên is a must visit. This is one of the best chè spots I’ve tried in Vietnam, offering both great flavors and very reasonable prices compared to other places. Their Chè Thái is the star rich, creamy, and packed with fresh jackfruit, coconut, and chewy jellies, all swimming in a sweet coconut milk base. It’s the perfect balance of sweetness and texture, making every spoonful satisfying. The smashed durian chè is also a unique choice for those who love the fruit’s bold flavor. Despite its popularity, service is fast and efficient, and the shop is clean and well-organized. Whether you’re looking to cool down on a hot day or just want to enjoy a classic Vietnamese dessert, Chè Liên hits the spot. Highly recommended!

Introduced by locals to this unique coconut jelly. Apparently they swore that the best is served here. Not too convinced by the rating of 3.7 on Google though. But I was wrong. The combo of sweet jelly, salty coconut milk soup and ice made this a perfect post dinner dessert. Jelly was well made, not too hard or crumble-in-your-mouth soft. It made for a wonderful mouthfeel. Bún Mắm Bà Đông is a traditional southern Vietnamese dish believed to have originated in Soc Trang Province, located in the Mekong Delta. In central Vietnam, it consists of vermicelli, pork or roasted pork, vegetables, unripe papaya, peanuts and anchovy fish sauce. This dark fish sauce noodle soup resembles grilled pork vermicelli but uses barbeque pork with skin and a distinctively strong-smelling dark fish sauce.

It feels so local and that’s what I like when travelling - eat what the locals eat. The food was super yummy. I didn’t know how to eat and the host graciously demonstrated for me. I loved the low tables and chairs too. But the place was clean. For the many skewers of meat and veg I took, it was a steal. 👍🏻🤗😋

Local Delight. Friendly to Tourists! This spot is next door to a hotel I stayed at. I knew it was good because of the amount of locals that were dining. The lady owned business was bustling with people… but it was the smoky aroma that filled the air which really pulled me in. You pay for meat by the stick, and for 8k a stick you are really getting an amazing deal. We sat slightly puzzled by the rice paper, when a local recognized our confusion they helped us learn how to eat the food properly. So sweet! The owners mom also came and made sure we knew how to dine on this locals favorite. We came two days in a row because it’s thaaat good! Check them out while you’re in town! Based on the business card there should be two locations ;)

Got told about this place from a local friend and by god was it good. The skewers you buy individually and I’m not sure what they put on them, but it was beautiful, could be the charcoal oven sending beautiful smoky aromas out into the dining room and onto the street. Highly recommend

One of my favorite meals in Vietnam so far. When we sat down, before we got to order, the worker just came and brought a tray of meat for us with all the fixings to make a spring roll (9000 dong per skewer). It ended up being fine because we inhaled the food. The dipping sauce was so flavorful. Wish I had more time in the city to go back

There’s only 2 items on the menu. I bought take away. Surprisingly the staff gave me glass Bowls to bring home for me to put the sauce. I took one but later went back to return the bowl after eating. The meat on sticks were nice. The leaf wrapped with meat was something new. Tastewise delicious. The sauces also nice. Not spicy. You need to wrap the meat with the salad and paper wrap. Must try if you are in Danang. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

Bánh Canh 63 is a unique and flavorful soup that stands out from other Vietnamese noodle soups. It features thick, chewy noodles, different from those found in dishes like Mi Quang and Cao Lau, and is accompanied by a rich and thick broth with a gooey texture. This dish can be prepared with various ingredients such as fish, crab, or pork, and the noodles are typically made from rice flour or cassava powder.

Next time, I will try other types of banh canh because the pot of broth and pile of rolls are so delicious. The space is clean, quite airy, with a sink in front of the shop. Came here for lunch and got the mixed bowl. It’s a huge portion and could be shared with two people. Really good flavour but it’s a little too heavy for a meal personally.

A better Pho at Danang, recommended by one of the locals. Their portion is quite big for regular size, soup was on a lighter side.
Yu G — Google review
One of my fav pho eateries in Da Nang offers a wonderfully rich and slightly sweet, tender beef. They simmer the bones for hours to create this flavorful base, and I can detect a hint of sweetness from sugar, possibly to adapt to the local taste. The pho is served by a family, and the older members. However, a drawback is that they don’t have many common spices available on the table. I visited in the afternoon, that’s why it was empty; the most bustling time is in the morning. The price is from 45-65k

Recently, I had the pleasure of trying a bowl of authentic Vietnamese Pho, and this classic dish left me truly amazed. As a foreigner, my love for this dish exceeded all expectations. Here’s my review. The broth of this Pho was rich yet clear, bursting with aroma. It combined the essence of beef bones and spices, making each sip comforting and satisfying. Every mouthful released a natural fragrance that was simply irresistible. The rice noodles were smooth and tender, soaking up the delicious broth. The thinly sliced beef was juicy and succulent, complemented by fresh cilantro and green onions that added a refreshing crunch. A squeeze of fresh lime and a touch of chili further enriched the flavors of the dish. The restaurant had a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, with simple decor that reflected Vietnamese culture. The staff were warm and friendly, providing clear explanations of each dish on the menu, making it easy for me to navigate as a foreigner. This bowl of authentic Vietnamese Pho was absolutely delicious and deepened my fascination with Vietnamese cuisine. If you’re a foreigner who hasn’t tried Pho yet, it’s a must-try! It’s not just a bowl of noodles; it’s a cultural experience that embodies the warmth and beauty of Vietnam. I can’t wait to come back for another bowl!

Recommended my our Grab driver. He said this restaurant is 30 yr old and he takes his family there to eat. We ordered 2 pho with beef, pork ball and egg , and 1 pho with chicken egg and pork balls. The pork balls are amazing, tender and good flavour. My partner said it is the best pork balls he ever had. The soup is clear broth and has a good amount of umami flav. The best pho I had in Vietnam so far (10days ).

Recommended by our driver, he said the restaurant is very famous among local community. From outside it is just a normal restaurant without aircon, all local people except us, we ordered pho with beef, another pho with chicken, my daughter took pho with beef and pork ball, she said this is one of best meal that she even tried in these 2 days, and my son said surprisingly that the pork ball is so tender and nice ..... indeed it is, when you enter into the restaurant, you can smell the authentic Vietnamese pho smell, once tried, hmmm... the soup is clean and tasty, the beef with slice is nice as well, of course with all the standard veggie for pho, when put it all together, it is the tastes of real pho which you are not able to get it in M'sia ; pho with chicken, the tastes is ok, no surprise to me, the chicken is tender and come with big portion ... highly recommend to you .... 😘

Chè Xuân Trang - cs 1 is a dessert spot situated on the bustling Le Duan street near Han Bridge. Visitors have raved about their local Vietnamese desserts, particularly the mixed bean milk and Thai durian milk. While some find the desserts a bit too sweet, they appreciate the affordability and delicious flavors. The menu offers a variety of options including yogurt, red bean, mixed beans, flan, and sg tofu.
This place is highly recommended by local guys where have a bean nuts sweet soup (chè) one of special thing you must try when visit Da Nang, price is very cheap under 1$/pcs
Duc N — Google review
This place seems to be a local favorite for dessert, as it's always busy when I drive by. I decided to give it a try and found that they serve Chè, a popular Vietnamese dessert. Everything seemed freshly made, and I appreciated that it wasn't too sweet. The homemade yogurt was really good, and I could see myself coming back just for that. Although some of the other items I tried didn't impress me as much, it was still a fun experience to sit there, surrounded by locals, and watch the bustling traffic.

Tried the Hong Kong Mango Sago and its nothing like the ones I’ve had at Saigon D5. Its their own version which didn’t impress, even at 20k. The texture of their flan and jelly is just to dense for my taste. I won’t be returning.

Out of the Yougurt, Red Bean, Mixed Beans, Flan and Sg Tofu which I had tried, I'd recommend a second serving for the Red/Mixed Beans and Yougurt. Not overly sweet. Would love to try the rest of the items in the menu on my next trip.
NonoP — Google review
Had our first local Vietnamese desserts here, loved it! We had the mixed bean milk and the Thai durian milk. One complaint would be that it's on the sweeter side, even for dessert. Would appreciate it if more ice was added, bit aside from that, it's an affordable and delicious dessert. Paid 12k and 22k for the desserts respectively

If you find yourself in Da Nang, a visit to Mỳ Quảng Quê Xưa is an absolute must for anyone craving authentic Mi Quang. This beloved local eatery serves up a delightful bowl of Quang noodles that perfectly captures the essence of Central Vietnam. The dish features lightly slicked noodles in a flavorful brown broth, seasoned just right to enhance the natural ingredients without overwhelming them.
Very surprised the noodles we ordered was taste so good! They only had dry noodles, the broth has strong lemongrass taste & you can order noodle with frogs / fish / chicken / beef & many more. The noodle price is cheap here (35k per bowl). Definitely will visit again in future.

My Quang Que Xua is a wonderful spot for a comforting bowl of noodle soup. The flavors were mild and gentle, but what made it even better was the option to adjust the spice to my liking. They served the spice separately, letting me customize the heat exactly how I wanted. The pork was incredibly tender and easy to eat, pairing beautifully with the smooth, well-cooked noodles. 🤤🤤 What truly stood out, though, was the kindness of the staff. They went out of their way to guide me on how to enjoy the dish properly—showing me how to roll the pork with different ingredients and adjust the spice to enhance the flavors. Their warmth and attentiveness made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for delicious food and genuine hospitality, My Quang Que Xua is a must-visit! 🫶🏻✨🥰

Walked by and saw lots of locals doing the same thing : rolling fresh spring roll. Curious about it and tried. The pork diy spring rolls set. To be honest, I didn’t even able to taste the pork but because there are layers of rice paper and veggies. The experience was very unique and it tasted very local. Nothing wrong, give it a try. Thanks for friendly and nice locals who taught me how to me how to properly roll the rice paper

Thoroughly enjoyable Mi Quang dishes. I tried the beef and the fish yellow noodles, both were excellent, the fish in particular was standout. It was grilled to perfection and the marinade used was salty and full of umami. Loved it. At 35k per bowl it's good value too.

I stopped by Mỳ Quảng Quê Xưa and ordered the mì quảng tôm thịt. The place itself is really nice—clean, comfortable, and it has that kind of traditional vibe without feeling old. The staff were super friendly and attentive, which makes a big difference when you’re sitting down to eat. The dish came out looking great. They present it really well and the toppings all looked fresh. Flavor-wise, it’s on the lighter side compared to other versions I’ve had. The noodles were a bit softer than I usually like, but that might just come down to personal preference. Some people might actually enjoy that style. The shrimp and pork worked well together, and the broth had a clean taste that wasn’t too strong or heavy. Overall, it’s a good spot to try this classic local dish if you’re in Da Nang. Even though it wasn’t the best mì quảng I’ve ever had, I still appreciated the effort, the clean setting, and the warm service. I’d come back again to try some of their other dishes and see what else they do well.

“Authentic Mỳ Quảng – A True Taste of Central Vietnam!” If you’re in Đà Nẵng and want to experience real, authentic Mỳ Quảng, Mỳ Quảng Quê Xưa is the place to go! This spot serves up one of the best bowls of this iconic Central Vietnamese dish, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and packed with rich, comforting flavors. The broth is light yet incredibly flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning to let the natural flavors shine. The noodles are silky and perfectly cooked, and the toppings—whether you choose chicken, pork, shrimp, or a mix—are all fresh and well-marinated. The crispy rice crackers and fragrant herbs add the perfect finishing touch. The setting is charming and traditional, making you feel like you’ve stepped into an old Vietnamese countryside home. Service is quick and friendly, and the prices are super affordable for the quality of food you get. Originally stumbled upon this place through Grab app. I ordered the Tofu w/ coconut milk, yogurt purple rice, flan, and a coconut jello. All were good but my favorite was the tofu coconut milk! I ordered it on Grab for the next 3 days. Last night was my first time going to the actual shop to eat it there. It is at a hidden corner and hard to notice if you’re passing by in a car, but I definitely think it’s better than Che Lien which is at every corner. The coconut milk here is the perfect sweetness and lightness. They have shaved ice which is a bonus. I dislike places that serve you Che with ice cubes. Extremely affordable prices. 10/10 for their tofu coconut milk. Yogurt purple rice was also a top choice for me.

This is my favorite chè franchise in Da Nang. They have the largest selection of different coconut, tofu, or yoghurt dishes of all the other multi-outlet shops. I was looking somewhere to get some pho before I left for ba na hills early in the morning. It was bout 6am, I looked up to see what places were around my hotel that I could walk to in a few minutes. This was the choice I made. It’s nice inside,2floors so I’m sure they get busy. The pho is 70k dong, which is not outrageous for the environment that your in, meaning inside a restaurant that’s updated. I have been paying 50k for pho sitting on the side of the road with a dirt floor. I would also say the portion u get is more as well. The service was prompt, maybe cause I was the only one in there at the time but still it was good service. I also had an cold coconut with my meal, which was also satisfying.

Been a frequent customer here for a while. Pho is not too bad, but attitude of the waiters and waitresses getting more a bit arrogant as the restaurant grows (not sure if it is because of their growth or because I brought my countryside parents here and they judge how the hardworking countryside people look). Price is double or triple compared to other local restaurants so I expect the customer service is always better. Other than that the restaurant looks clean.

Han Market is a bustling indoor market located in Da Nang, Vietnam. It has been a prominent landmark since the 1940s and is situated at the intersection of Tran Phu Street, Bach Dang Street, Hung Vuong Street, and Tran Hung Dao Street. The market features multiple levels with hundreds of stalls offering a wide range of products including local produce, handicrafts, clothing, fabrics, housewares, and accessories.
Amazing place a shopping paradise of cheap and beautiful design and fashionable clothes, sport wear and snacks. Something for everyone. Value for money and free training in negotiation skill. There is great bargain to be found if you know how. I some casual sandals and a polo shirt. Very happy with my visit.

Organized, just very crowded. Not recommended to buy pasalubong here to bring home. You can haggle, but the marked down price is still more expensive than what you would find in Lotte Mart. They accept cash, credit card, and some foreign currency as payment. Great place to get clothes and souvenir. Got two plus sized girlie dresses for 400k vnd, and two plus sized linen pants for 350k vnd after some haggling. Plus size girlie clothes typically range 1.5x to 2x more expensive than that where I'm from. Ref magnets range from 100 to 150 vnd for a pack of six. Some more intricate designs go for 40 to 50k vnd. Again, haggle especially if you are buying a lot. Good, affordable local fare sold on the right side of the ground floor, exiting to Han River. They may not speak English, but I can feel the hospitality and desire to show how the beauty of Vietnam. Our vendor saw how surprised we were by the size of their avocado and gave us a free taste.

You can tell the tailor is very experienced, the two other ladies helping spoke good English and were able to give me suggestions and they were clear on how much material is required if I want a certain look. Picked up the jumpsuit 2 days later, tried it on with no adjustments needed - super stoked. Would have got more items made if we have more time in Da Nang. There are no private changing rooms, with narrow walkways, so be prepared to try on your outfit publicly. Only cash is accepted though. PS - you need to pay $10k to use the public toilet.

Chợ Hàn is the most famous and traditional market in the city, making it a very popular tourist spot. Entry is free. Because it's so well-known, it's almost always very crowded and busy. It's a two-story building that sells everything from clothes and souvenirs upstairs to fresh foods, dried goods, and meals downstairs. I noticed that the prices are a bit more expensive than in local markets, perhaps due to the focus on tourists. Also, in some sections, especially in the food area (like durian and dried fish), the smell is quite strong and can be unpleasant. It's a good idea to bring cash, as most smaller stalls do not accept cards.

Mi Quang Ba Vi is a locally-owned restaurant known for serving classic Mi Quang noodles at an affordable price. The dish, which includes pork and shrimp, is a favorite among food enthusiasts. Despite the abundance of seafood and other delicacies in the area, Banh Mi Bread remains a must-try when visiting this coastal city. It's no exaggeration to say that banh mi contributes significantly to the diverse culinary scene of this beautiful destination.
Beef served on a bed of Flat noodles with some real good Soup, im all in for it! The cracker served along with it and the greens made this meal, really healthy and extremely tasty. Its a hearty and cost effective meal, so do try it out.

Had a recommendation from one of the blog and was so-so experience. Can't recommend the noodle since the soup was not hot. The shrimp was disappointing. Jelly fish, this is the first time I had jellyfish. Texture and flavour wise was not my thing either. Ram Cuon Cai is good. Fried spring roll put on rice paper with cucumber, young mango, some leaves, and dip in sweet and spicy sauce.

Saw this place being recommended by some social media persons, so came to try. Went to eat late lunch at about 4pm, and there was only 1 other group of customer finishing up. The place was dim as the lights were not turned on. Cleanliness was quite poor with a number of flies. Other tables had uncleared dishes, but the staff after serving us just continued her own work instead of clearing up (not sure why). Seats had dust and spider web looking stuff stuck inbetween... A little taken aback by the first impression of this rather highly recommended place. Staff cant really communicate in English, but its ok, we pointed to the chicken Mi Quang and fried spring roll to order. She brought out this additional big round cracker and a basket of vegetables, which usually is to complement their noodle dishes, but looks like we were charged for it... The Mi Quang broth was actually pretty good, very tasty. Somehow tasted like a beef broth. But the meat seemed to be 2-3 pieces of chicken, and the rest seemed to be just bones which i feel might just be the beef bones from the broth... Fried spring roll was cold and soggy, below expectations... A bit disappointed overall for a recommend restaurant.

Phở Cổ is a cozy little spot in Danang, known for serving some of the most delicious pho in the area. The restaurant has a simple and humble menu and is frequented by locals. The pho is described as light, clean, fresh, and flavorful with plentiful assorted basil and other add-ins. The staff are exceptionally friendly and provide great service. It's a great place to relax and watch everyday life pass by while enjoying authentic Vietnamese noodle soup.
This place is our absolute favorite! The owners and staff are wonderful, always welcoming and kind. We've been coming here almost daily—only missing when we're sick or out of town. Their medium-rare pho is the best we've ever had—authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with love. We've also tried other dishes, and everything is consistently delicious. Don't skip their fresh juices—they're amazing! This is a humble, family-run restaurant where they always take the time to chat, and the staff is fun and polite. They do get busy, so if you visit during peak hours, be patient—it’s worth the wait. Highly recommend! Thank you for keeping us so well-fed! ❤️

*only cash/no AC* One of my absolute favourite spots for street food-style dishes! I’ve been multiple times for both takeaway and dine-in (dine-in only in the evening as there’s no AC), and every visit has been amazing. The food is consistently delicious, we’ve had the pho, spring rolls, and my personal favourite: the fried rice with chicken wings in fish sauce. So, so good 🤤 What makes it even more special is the service. 🥰 The owner recognised me after just one visit and even asked my partner where I was when he went without me — such a sweet and personal touch 🥹 You can really feel the care here. A true hidden gem that keeps us coming back! 💖

pho broth here is solid and well rounded. good flavor and really can't go wrong. worth a 3.5-3.75 rating from me. would definitely return as the broth was pretty solid. ordered the Pho Bo Dac Biet, enjoyed the amount of meat provided, only thing was they also include chicken meat which was a bit odd in Pho Bo. veggies can run into issue of not being washed individually in multiple washings with clean water causing any dead veggie bits to stick to the good veggies. very friendly and happy staff. place can get super hot if you sit inside as the cooking is done outside but the heat from the stoves do pass back into the building.
B C — Google review
The reviews don’t lie - pho is top tier with a perfect balance of sweet and savoury. Spring rolls were crispy and the fillings plentiful and well-seasoned. Wide array of mains and extras, not even mentioning all the fresh juice options! Staff are always very friendly and the restaurant is spotless. A true gem in Da Nang - a MUST if you’re visiting this beautiful city.

Stumbled upon this place by the crowded tables when walking by. Sat down as i walked back as tables were cleared. Chicken thigh pho was good, broth was clear n clean. Lots of condiments to refine to your tastes, plenty of herbs n bean sprouts, i’ll be back to try the other dishes… everyone seemed friendly and welcoming.

The fried rice with chicken was really good! The staff very kindly modified our order to add extra chicken at a fair price, and we were also given free Pho broth which was delicious. Very friendly place with great food. There are also lots of fans inside so it doesn’t get too hot.

I recently visited pho Co restaurant, and I can confidently say it’s the best bowl of pho I’ve ever had—hands down surpassing any other place I’ve tried before. The broth was incredibly rich and aromatic, striking a perfect balance of savory beefy goodness with subtle hints of star anise and cinnamon that lingered on the palate. Unlike other spots where the broth can feel watery or overly salty, this one was clearly simmered to perfection, likely for hours, giving it a depth of flavor that’s hard to beat. The noodles were fresh, perfectly cooked, and had just the right amount of chewiness, while the beef slices were tender and practically melted in my mouth. Even the garnish—crisp bean sprouts, fragrant Thai basil, and a generous squeeze of lime—felt fresher and more vibrant than what I’ve experienced elsewhere. Other pho joints I’ve been to often skimp on the herbs or serve tired-looking veggies, but here, every element was spot-on. The atmosphere was cozy yet lively, and the service was quick and friendly, which only added to the experience. Compared to the other pho places I’ve eaten at—where the flavors sometimes feel flat, or the portions leave you wanting—this spot is in a league of its own. If you’re a pho lover, this is the place to go. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Bánh bèo Tâm is a popular rice noodle dish from southern Vietnam, featuring thick rice noodles topped with grilled pork, sliced pork rinds, fresh herbs, roasted peanuts, and coconut milk sauce. The interplay of textures and blend of sweet, savory, and nutty flavors make it a delightful culinary experience. This street food stall in Danang offers various traditional Hue cakes at an affordable price.
Incredible food. I’m happy a friend recommended this place to me. It’s not a touristic place. It’s a tiny mom and pop shop. The price is soooooo cheap. The quality is high. Just pick a random dish on the menu and it will be good. Or pick one of everything, the portion is small, you should try out all of them.

Regional specialties made with rice and tapioca flours. On one plate I had Banh Beo, Banh Uot, and Banh Ram It, and in another I had the Banh Bot Loc with shrimp and pork filling and cooked in banana leaves. Minimum order for the latter was 10 pieces but it was so tasty I finished them all.

Banh Nam and Banh Loc has been the most delicious thing ive eaten in Da Nang so far, every dish in any local or foreigner style restaurant was such a disappointment. It was so nice to finally taste something more authentic, balanced and delicious. Staff were pleasant, nice local atmosphere. Banh Nam is like a Cantonese Cheong Fun, except its not rolled and just steamed with mince meat inside. I liked the chewy sweet shrimp in the Banh Loc, it was delicious. Im definitely coming back for more and trying the Banh Beo next time.

It was an okay experience. The locals recommended this place when I asked where to get Bánh Bèo and it was disappointing. The rice cake was too thick and the dried blended shrimp topping lacked flavour. The nem was sour and smelled like alcohol and I had to spit it out. I've only had grocery store nem but it just wasn't right.

Very tasty food. Tried Banh Beo and Banh Uot. Both were very similar. Difference is just the rice cake. banh Uot is like thick sheets of rice noodles whilst Banh Beo is round cake. I like Banh Uot more as it is more delicate and the dipping sauce gets in every layer. They sell fresh sugar cane too. Banh Beo 15k, Banh Uot 15, sugar cane drink 10k. Super cheap.

Nestled at 35 Ly Tu Trong in the vibrant city of Danang, Pho Viet Beo is a hidden gem that offers an authentic culinary experience steeped in tradition. While its decor may be simple, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to savor a bowl of pho on a cool morning. As you take in the delightful aroma of simmering broth and fresh beef resting atop delicate rice noodles, you'll understand why this place has captured the hearts of locals and students alike.
Many people confuse this shop with the one packed with tourists next door, but this shop is definitely better than the one in terms of authentic Hanoi Pho, just by the look at it you can immediately see the different. Taste very good and the beef is nice. And this shop used to close for a few hours in afternoon, but they’ve change the opening hour to most of the day now. But better to avoid early morning or lunch time, as this place sometime will be full of local and you may need to sit closely with someone else...

They only accept Cash. Their food in the kitchen area are not covered so fly can land on it. And there are a lot of them. I won't recommend raw beef pho. The Pho and soup base are good, but their deep fry shrimp and meat spring roll are the best I had since I got here.

Foods are superrrr delicious and You must try this pho!! The best pho I ever ate in the world, honestly. It is not salty and I don't feel any MSG ..just real beef broth and spices and I feel good every time I eat here. Many pho restaurant don't serve high quality real beef broth. And the portions here are very generous . And sometimes, there is a fruit seller who sells mangos in front of the restaurant. Please help to support the lady who sells good quality mangos besides No mini market nearby sells fresh mangos. Humble place with high quality pho that we are looking for. I came from the USA, and I had tried so many pho restaurants in the USA,Lyon in France, Medellin Colombia, ,Buenos Aires,Bangkok,Danang .....and there were a lot of disappointments from eating at other pho restaurants. However, this is our favorite pho in the world 👍👍👍

Chè Liên is a popular spot in Da Nang where locals and tourists alike indulge in Vietnam's guilt-free dessert, chè. This sweet soup comes in various forms, from single main ingredient options like lotus seeds or mung beans to colorful mixed varieties known as che thap cam. The dishes are topped with crushed ice and coconut cream, making for a refreshing treat on balmy evenings.
The che thai with the durian 🥳 Don't be scared. The durian adds creaminess to the dish with a hint of savory. I would go back in an instant

Chi P — Google review
If you’re visiting Đà Nẵng and craving something sweet, Chè Liên is a spot you shouldn’t miss. This popular dessert shop is well-known among locals and tourists alike for its wide variety of chè—a traditional Vietnamese sweet soup or pudding. The star of the menu is undoubtedly the Chè Thái—a vibrant, fruity dessert that’s both refreshing and satisfying. It’s made with a mix of tropical fruits, jelly, and crunchy jackfruit, all swimming in sweetened coconut milk. The flavors are well-balanced: sweet but not overpowering, with just the right amount of creaminess. The shop offers many other varieties too, such as chè bắp (corn pudding), chè đậu đỏ (red bean), and chè thập cẩm (mixed dessert), so there’s something for everyone. The servings are generous and the prices are very affordable—great value for money. The atmosphere is casual and always bustling, especially in the evenings. While the shop is quite basic in decor, the service is quick and efficient. It’s a great place to grab a quick, tasty snack or cool down on a hot day. Tip: It can get crowded, so consider going during off-peak hours or ordering takeaway if you want to avoid the wait. Overall, Chè Liên is a great representation of Đà Nẵng’s local flavor and charm. Whether you’re a fan of Vietnamese desserts or just want to try something new, this place won’t disappoint.

Went around 10.30pm on a Tuesday night and it was fairly crowded but we got seats. Ordered the VND 20K dessert without durian for myself. Collection is done at the back kitchen after payment is made at the order counter. Taste refreshing and is popular amongst the locals.

Chè Thai as you would expect it flavor wise. It's pretty decent though I was pretty surprised the Chè Thai was prepackaged! I mean, at least it hasn't been sitting in the heat all day like the street-cart stuff (that's always a gamble yo!) Pretty packed, lots of locals enjoying all their treats. I love durian but didn't order any, but my mom sure did, and she found it pretty decent as well. Update 31 Jul 2025: Coming back here two years later and it's still great.
Joe T — Google review
Che is good especially when you're thirsty or tired. If you cannot eat durian, you can choose Che Thai with no durian and the price is less than with durian (20k vs 25k)

Well, still a good desert to try in Danang, what about a sweet treat after enjoying Banh Xeo Ba Duong? Still my fav route while in here. But the service now is not a good thing while you have to carry yourself dishes to your table which is very uncomfortable if you ordered a lot! Don’t know why?

Bánh Canh Ruộng is a unique dish that can only be found in Danang, Vietnam. Its name comes from the fact that it was originally sold in the fields rather than in traditional eateries. Over time, these rustic Bánh Canh Ruộng stalls have moved into houses while still maintaining their original quality and taste. Visitors to Danang praise this local delicacy for its rice noodle soup with fish cake, which has remained consistently excellent over the years.

Banh Trang Thit Heo Dai Loc is a Vietnamese dish that features thin slices of pork belly wrapped in rice paper along with various fresh herbs and vegetables. The combination of tender pork and soft rice paper creates a delightful texture, while the assortment of herbs such as basil, coriander, lettuce, and cucumber adds freshness to each bite. The dish is typically enjoyed with mam nem dipping sauce, which complements the flavors with its sweet, spicy, sour, and salty notes.
Came here two years ago and it is still hands down one of my favorite meals. If you can’t eat mam nem, they offer nuoc mam, but it’s straight up fish sauce, no sugar. 60k for the boiled pork belly 75k for crispy pork belly 25k for tiger beer Spent 230k for 3 people

Worst Banh Trang Thit Heo I ever had in Da Nang! Pork was not fresh and re- boiled until the meat totally dried and shrunk! Even tried to gave us smaller portion seeing we r foreigners! Place is dirty and staffs doesn't know what is hygiene at all! Literally scratching their head and handling the food directly in contact. When we spoke to the person about the food quality, he was totally being denial and told us it's how Banh Trang Thit Heo is! I come to Da Nang almost every 3 months and have dined in numerous restaurants including Banh Trang Thit Heo, I know how it should be and how it should taste as it's one of my favorite dish whenever I come to Da Nang! Worst dining experience and first time ever I gave such seriously bad comment to an eatery!

Amazing food. I got the sliced pork. Full of flavors you won't be disappointed. The only thing I wish I could change was the portion size. If you're with 2 people order 2 servings, or try the fish. That looks amazing as well.
Yoms B — Google review
Honestly, I’ve never seen a place where everything is as terrible as this one. The staff didn’t want to serve, looked lifeless. The mì Quảng was cold, just chicken and egg, bland, full of grease. Dishes were incomplete. Asked for bún mắm, they said only boiled pork was available. The mì Quảng had no shrimp, no peanuts. They brought out three bowls that were as cold as old snail noodles—should be renamed “cold mì Quảng.” I had to remind them to bring vegetables, ask for fish sauce, and it took 10 minutes to come. When I asked for a drink, the staff ignored me. Asked where the owner was, and the staff asked why. I said, "Is your restaurant open but you don’t actually want to serve people?" Staff replied they were short-staffed. But at that time there were only my family of 3 and one young couple dining. The staff just stood around aimlessly. I said, if you're short-staffed, put up a sign saying “Short on staff, we’re not really serving.” That would be more respectful. Selling food without heart, with poor-quality dishes and reluctant service—why bother selling at all? When it came time to pay, I said, “Can I pay now?”—nobody came. I had to say, “Don’t you want my money?” before someone finally came to take payment. If you want to serve customers, do it with heart. People are paying to eat, not begging for charity. Even charity services treat people better than this. If you’re going to act like this, just stay home. Don’t open a restaurant that ruins people’s travel mood and experience. And if you’re just running this place for fun, please post a sign: “Sorry, this place is open for fun only. We’re not actually serving or welcoming guests. Please don’t come in the future.”

Bún chả cá Bà Phiến (Bà Thừa) is a must-try dish in Hanoi, loved by both locals and visitors. This specialty consists of warm broth with grilled minced pork and Vietnamese noodles, served with a side of fresh herbs. In Danang, Bún chả cá is also popular, and Bà Phiến is known for serving one of the best versions.
5/5 stars – this fish noodle soup with sweet potato & cabbage SLAPPED. The menu’s small, but that just means they’ve mastered it. A local put us on to this spot, and OMG, I’m so glad they did. Absolute fire!

The most delicious fish soup I have ever tasted in Da Nang. The sweet potato was such a brilliant ingredient that accentuated the overall flavor!!
Nadezda N — Google review
It’s like the comforting fish cake broth from a highway rest stop, but with rice noodles and a few fish cakes on top. You can choose toppings like tuna or mackerel and customize it with a variety of seasonings. Exceptionally good.
Superunknown A — Google review
Fulfilled every expectation I had for a local place - the food was refreshingly different from other noodle soups around Vietnam, the addition of squash was a hit for me. The place itself is what one should expect from a Vietnamese food place - busy yet organized, practical yet memorable.

We just simply walk in a shop which have a lot of local people inside and up to our expectations the food is nice! Popular among local people. The mackerel fish is so fresh and tasty. Overall we like it here.

Very delicious, food come quickly, veggies are fresh, comfort soup, got chilli if you want a spicy taste, fish cake also great It is cheap. No parking, clean place, young staff can speak english a bit, spacious, many seats available

Nothing tastes more like Danang than bun cha ca, and Ba Phien is an excellent example of this iconic soup. The clean, delicious broth holds thin rice noodles and chucks of various fish cakes. Traditional accompaniments include a plate of fresh vegetables & herbs, spicy chilies, tangy onions & carrots, and salty fish sauce. All this for less than $2 usd!

We came across this shop and it seemed to be packed with locals, so we decided to give it a try. The bun cha ca was very joyful to eat. We would definitely recommend this to travellers to try.

Bún Bò Bà Rơi is a popular spot known for its delicious bowl of bun bo hue, a flavorful noodle soup with various ingredients. The star of the dish is the rich and tasty broth, which can be made with crab balls or patties. Visitors recommend trying the Bun bo special, which includes pig trotter, pig/beef intestines, and flavorful crab paste. The addition of lime and chili flakes enhances the already delicious soup.
The beef noodle soup here was incredibly delicious! The broth was light and flavorful, making it a perfect choice for breakfast. The beef was tender, and the noodles had just the right texture. It’s a comforting and satisfying dish that doesn’t feel too heavy in the morning. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a tasty and gentle start to your day!

This place was tucked away almost not visible unless you’re looking for it. We walked in and were seated immediately. The covered area was hotter than outside because of the lighting so we moved outside. Service felt unwelcoming, even though we were the first there we were served after other guests and got our food last. I wouldn’t expect this from a restaurant on the Michelin guide. The space felt cozy and themed in a nostalgic way which could be really nice if the service was more customer friendly.
Travwell G — Google review
They serve a delicious, spicy, and flavorful Bun Bo Ba that consisted of a rich umami flavored broth with some aromatic lemon grass, beef bones, shrimp paste, and a hint of chili. We went all out with the additional sides they provided including chili paste, pickled shallots, chili and carrots. We didn't forget the vegetables that added a touch of mint and lime to top it all off. For foreigners concerned of safety, they serve drinks with large purified cylindrical ice cubes and we were completely safe. Highly recommend as this is also a Michelin Guide.

This spot is visually appealing; the restaurant itself is really cute and welcoming. What I really liked about the Bún Bò here is that it includes beef tongue—a great addition that makes the dish stand out! Also, the pork knuckle (giò heo) is pre-sliced, which makes it incredibly easy and convenient to eat. For me personally, the overall flavor of the Bún Bò was just okay, but my Korean friend absolutely loved it. In fact, she said it was the best Vietnamese dish she had eaten during her entire trip. Based on her reaction, this place is a huge hit for first-time visitors to Vietnam! If you're looking for a cute local spot with a unique Bún Bò experience, definitely check it out!
Minty V — Google review
Lovely, hidden away little restaurant serving just bun bo. The broth was quite light and I seasoned it heavily but what stood out was the quality of the meat and noodles. Delicious. If you sit outside the sunlight filters through the greenery above and around causing pretty little pools of light. An enjoyable experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the best bowls of bún bò Huế I’ve had in Da Nang! The broth is rich, fragrant, and full of depth—clearly simmered for hours. The toppings are generous, especially the tender beef and flavorful crab cakes. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and the staff are friendly and quick. Prices are reasonable for the quality. A must-try spot, especially if you love Hue-style noodles!

First Time in Da Nang — and This Bowl of Noodles Won My Heart This was my very first trip to Da Nang, and I couldn’t have chosen a better introduction to the city than Bún Bò Bà Rơi. From the moment the bowl landed on the table, I knew it was going to be special. The noodles are silky and springy, holding up beautifully in the rich, aromatic broth — a broth that’s both comforting and exciting, with just the right balance of spice and warmth. The toppings are generous: slices of tender beef, chewy tendon, crab meatballs, cubes of pig’s blood, and fresh scallions sprinkled on top. Every spoonful tells a story — of tradition, care, and authenticity. The place has that bustling, down-to-earth Vietnamese vibe, packed with locals and travelers alike. I even noticed many Korean visitors, which says a lot — when a dish attracts food lovers across cultures, you know it’s the real deal. And here’s the kicker: Bún Bò Bà Rơi is Michelin-recognized (2024 & 2025), and honestly, it deserves every bit of that honor. If you’re looking for a taste of Vietnam that will linger in your memory long after you’ve left, this is the spot. For me, it wasn’t just lunch — it was the moment I fell in love with Da Nang. 👉 A must-visit for anyone setting foot in this city.

Bánh Canh Yến is a hidden gem that offers delicious bowls of noodles with generous portions of real fish. The unexpected side of spicy fried pork skin adds an interesting twist to the meal. The friendly lady boss and affordable prices make it a great find for those looking for authentic flavors. Visitors love the full selection of cheap Ca dishes and the welcoming staff, although the non-western style toilet may be surprising to some.
This is my favorite place. The noodles here are delicious and the price is reasonable. You can choose rice flour or tapioca flour. 9/10 points
Khoa N — Google review
Nice place with a lot of people. The noodles are different than in other places. Don’t feels like it’s rice noodles, and a little more chewy. The bread was really good but the soup is nothing special. I got some crispy pork crackers which is really nice, but they haven’t removed the hair on it before, so they were still on, which is not so delicious. You get a lot for the money here, and a authentic restaurant experience, so try it out and see what you think:-)

We were standing by the side, looking at the menu on the board, trying to figure out ca loc and bahn canh, when a lady approached us and spoke in English. Yummy fish soup and crunchy pork skin, as a side dish.

Quán Bánh Xèo Miền Trung Bà Tình is a popular eatery located in a small alley, known for its bustling atmosphere and unique hot and hoppy crepes. In addition to the standout banh xeo, the restaurant also offers Cao Lau and local spring rolls that are highly praised by visitors. The cozy spot provides excellent service, with staff members willing to assist patrons in assembling their meals.
We have always known of the more popular place and usually go there but wanted to venture out to something different and give another restaurant a chance. They did not disappoint! I guess the other place may have better advertising but I promise you this place is good too AND a little cheaper! What can go wrong, and I have to be honest, the sauce here is even BETTER tasting than the other place! We weren't sure what to expect and since there was no one in the restaurant we were a little hesitant BUT based on the 4.4 out of 5 reviews, we thought why not! I loved the decor! It is another place in time for Hỏi An so I'm certain this is where they owners are from! I loved the painting of the Japanese Bridge and the farmlands as well as the beautiful straw hats. The older gentleman and his wife were very sweet and kind! The son made our crepes. I am even going as far as saying that I truly believe the Nem Lụi (ground meat skewers taste better than tue other place! Overall, we will definitely come back here! Their Grilled Meat Skewers looked so good that we had to order some to go to taste! Since they made the ground meat taste better than tue other place, surely their grilled meat will be just as wonderful! The meat was just right, the smokiness and sweet, salty and lemongrass was all just perfect! The flavors were just wonderful - perfect blend of flavors! I guess it love it because it is how they make it in the south! Highly recommended this place! Give them a shot! Go out of the norm and help out a smaller shop that has food just as amazing - if not more amazing than the other place! We liked it so much we ordered another round of Banh Xeo, Nem Lụi, Thịt Nướng and Bún Thịt Nướng for dinner tonight! Please help out a smaller shop and I promise you won't be disappointed! I can't believe it took me this long to try out a new place! 5 out of 5 for sure! PS I also wanted to respond to@Kelsey's 2 star review saying she spent over $20 USD for food she didn't order - it's Asia! Don't eat it and you won't get charged... My husband and ordered Banh Xeo, Nem Lụi, and 2 drinks at the restaurant and then we ordered another Banh Xeo, Nem Lụi, and added 2 additional Bun Thit Nuong plates along with another side order of the Thit Nuong to go, and all of that came to 490,000 vnđ. $19.11 total - nothing like the supposed amount she gave! What a sad excuse of lies...I even took a photo at home to prove it. Basically we will have almost 3 meals from this so I have no idea why Kelly was so mean spirited to try to lie like that. Also @Bryan - every single restaurant charges for those napkins. It's no secret.
All O — Google review
I've been in Vietnam for years and never had such a good banh xeo as I've had here! I also tried the bun thit nuong and it was amazing. If you don't like fish sauce it's no problem, because they serve a bowl of thick peanut sauce with ground meat with the banh xeo, and this also tastes amazing on noodles. The owners are friendly and it feels like a cozy homely setting. Support small family businesses! PS: Photos taken mid meal, it was too good...

Craving legit Hoi An food? This spot's got you covered! They nail the classics like Cao lầu, Chicken rice, and Bún mắm nêm. The place is simple but cute, definitely got that Hoi An vibe, and it's pretty clean and bright, which is always a plus. The Cao lầu? Seriously tasty. The noodles are spot-on, and that deep flavor? Yum! My only tiny wish is the veggies could use a bit more variety. But those crispy fried crackers? Game changer! They make the whole dish. And the best part? The prices are a steal! Seriously, you get a lot of bang for your buck. One little thing: the owner could smile a bit more. A friendly face goes a long way! But honestly, the food and the price? Totally worth it. Go check it out!

The owner is cute, friendly, enthusiastic and cheerful. I ordered the rolls in the evening and the next morning I had to go to the airport to fly back at 5am. The owner promised to deliver them to me early in the morning. At exactly 4:30 a.m., someone called to deliver. The spring rolls were steamed early in the morning and were still hot. She packed a foam box and wrapped it tightly with tape, carefully, pre-cut a few holes in the box to let the steam escape so that the rolls would not be damaged when transported. I transported the rolls all day from early morning to afternoon when I opened the box and it was still warm. She very thoughtfully left a few plastic bags in the box so I could use it as a gift to my relatives. Everyone complimented me on how delicious it was.😋 highly recommend for everyone, Good quality pork sausage, customer service is extremely good ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Original) Chả ngon, giá cả hợp lý. 👍👍👍 Mình là khách du lịch, xem trên này mn review thấy ok nên mua thử, sản phẩm chất lượng đúng như mn review luôn ạ. Bánh Tráng Kẹp Nướng Cô Vân is a popular Vietnamese street food that has gained a lot of attention for its deliciousness. It's a grilled rice paper sandwich filled with various ingredients such as egg, pork floss, green onions, and more. The dish is known for its crispy texture and flavorful fillings, making it a favorite among locals and tourists alike.
One of the must-try street foods in Đà Nẵng is bánh tráng kẹp,and if you’re into local snacks or just love discovering hidden food gems, you’ll totally love this. It’s a big hit with teens and anyone who enjoys classic Đà Nẵng style street food. Super affordable, super tasty! The rice paper is grilled to a perfect crisp, super fragrant, and the pâté is surprisingly good not bitter or fishy at all. I do wish it was served a bit hotter, but that’s just me being picky. One thing I really loved? You get three kinds of dipping sauces, and they let you pour as much as you want. No awkward “excuse me, can I get more sauce?” just go wild and adjust the flavor to your own taste. Sweet, spicy, up to you! The stall’s hidden away in a small alley, so watch your step and maybe ask a local for directions. Just say you’re looking for “Cô Vân bán bánh tráng kẹp” everyone around there knows her and will point you straight to it. The spot isn’t super spacious, but it feels really homey. You’re surrounded by friendly neighbors and that cozy alleyway vibe. Parking’s a bit tight maybe 3 or 4 bikes max so if you can, leave your ride near Apec Park and walk in. It’s actually a really chill little walk and adds to the experience. Oh, and bonus: Cô Vân also sells some super nostalgic drinks. I had her iced tamarind (me đá) and it took me straight back to those childhood days of buying frozen treats in plastic tubes after school. Such a throwback! Huge thanks to Cô Vân for a lovely afternoon all it took was a few plates of bánh tráng kẹp and a glass of me đá to make some sweet memories. Wishing her and her family lots of love, health, and success!🌻🫶

Tiệm Bánh Mì Nướng Lạng Sơn is a must-visit for tourists due to its unique approach to making banh mi. The freshly baked baguettes are still warm, slathered with butter and grilled meat, served with pickles and soy sauce on the side. The small baguettes are skewered and roasted over charcoal, resulting in a crispy texture. Packed generously with meat and chili sauce, each bite offers a slightly spicy kick.

A small baguette coated with something (butter and brown sugar?) is skewered and roasted over charcoal for many times longer than usual. The small baguettes are crispy and delicious. The amount of meat is sufficient and the patty is generous. It contains chili sauce and has a slightly spicy taste. After all, the special feature here is the long-roasted baguette. It feels like a one-of-a-kind Banh Mi, and I highly recommend it. The opening hours seem to be from the evening, but I'm not sure. The actual location is on the other side of the road. ÔNG ĐỂ Bún thịt nướng-Nem lụi-Bò lá lốt is a popular dish in Vietnam, particularly in the southern region. It features a delightful combination of rice vermicelli, grilled pork, fresh vegetables, and special ingredients, topped with a sauce made from ground peanuts. This dish can be enjoyed with chili sauce and lemon squash for an extra kick of flavor.
(Translated by Google) It was crowded with locals, so I gave it a try. The good thing about Nem and Bo La Lot is that you can order by specifying the number of pieces rather than a set. I ordered 5 bottles each and they were just the right amount. Both were quite delicious. Bo La Lot in Da Nang is not rolled like Nem, but rather thin, and is often sandwiched between skewers rather than skewered. Although I didn't have a chance to try it this time, Bun Thit Nuong also looked delicious. This place has a juice stand, so I ordered Nuoc Mia (sugar cane juice). Convenience is good.

(Translated by Google) The food is really delicious, seasoned just right.. Chewing gum is available at the table to chew.. The baby scad rolled in rice paper is a bit big, I prefer the small, steamed bone-in-the-bone version better than whole, but like this It's been fine too. The rice paper is thick and very chewy. The vegetables are clean, arranged according to the prepared portion, wrapped carefully, no flies. The fish ball noodle soup is delicious, fragrant, the vegetables are also clean. The spring rolls are chewy, sweet and meaty.. The bowl of vermicelli with fish sauce is plump and looks delicious. The staff is quick and the wait for the dish is not long. The only and biggest minus point is that the fish sauce is not very delicious. , a bit salty. But the seasoning sauce is supposed to be the soul of the dish, it has to be the best...
