Famous place. Koay teow noodle is good..for me, the soup is well-balanced and the rest of the dishes, as expected. Not much service and atmosphere, standard as expected from a local establishment but plus point, they have air-conditioning, so it helps as you dine more comfortably. Unfortunately, parking is at the roadside. Price, average close to rm17/pax, not bad?

Old-school kway chap for a pretty good price. The meat was cooked alright but the soup and the kway teow are stand-outs. Very herbal and rich. Service was fast but no-frills. Takes me back to how Singapore used to be a few decades ago. Great for a late night pip stop.

Big Intestine = RM9.00 Small Intestine = RM9.00 Pork Belly = RM9.00 1 Bowl of Kway ＝ Don't know Final Bill for a Solo Diner = RM14.50 No Service Charges When people discuss about Famous Eateries in Stulang Laut, THIS place will definitely come up.  Very Highly Regarded and Well Discussed in Food Blogs so much so that it feels like the name Woon Kiang is practically Synonymous with Taman Stulang Laut itself. What this Place is, is basically a Kway Teow Kia Eatery that only opens in the Evenings.  Kway Teow Kia itself is a Classic Signature Dish of Johor Bahru so you can imagine how Famous you must be to be an Eatery that is actually Well-Known for it. Despite its Near Legendary Status, the Actual Place is not a High-End Restoran, but rather an Old Looking Eatery with a Very Weathered Signboard lighted up in a Very Classic 1970s-1980s Style.  Like Most Dedicated KTK Eateries, the Main Cooking Station is right at the Entrance where you also order, with a Large Indoor (Air-Conditioned) Dining Area, although the Air-Con wasn't Cold  when I came during their Opening Time at 5.00pm on a Saturday Night. Even though there were No Big Crowds or Long Queues at their Opening Hour of 5.00pm on a Saturday Night, I noticed Business was still pretty Brisk with Customers streaming in and out as I ate. The Staffs are mostly Myanmar Folks who are Polite and Mostly Keep to Themselves. The Staff at the Cooking Station where you order is also a Myanmar Chap and while he wasn't the Very Friendly All Smiles type, I appreciate that he wasn't Impatient or gave any 死人脸 when I took some time to look thru the Menu and took Photos of it. Although to be fair, it wasn't busy and I was the only person in the Line at that time.  That said, I would recommend to be prepared for what you want so you can order more efficiently just in case there is Bigger Crowd if you come. It took only 1 Min for Everything to be Served up. Due to Text Limit Constraints, I won't go into details describing every Ingredient here. Conclusion and Closing Thoughts At the Total Combined Price and Final Bill of RM14.50 (S$4.50) although is Slightly More Expensive than San Lou KTK, I feel is still a reasonable price to pay for what you get.  The One Word I can summarize for my Experience at Woon Kiang is that it is "Unusual". They have alot of Unusual Cuts that are not offered in other KTK Eateries. Their KTK Soup Broth tastes Unusual with it tasting more like a Chicken Soup than a Regular Braised KTK,  the Chilli they offer is Unusual, and even their Pricing seems Unusual because what you see on the Pricelist is not actually the Price you pay.  Hahaha Hey I'm not complaining about the Lower Price I have to pay compared to the Menu Price List. The Most Unusual was that Extreme Bitterness that I tasted for the 大肠 Big Intestine.  Still not sure if this is a "Didn't Clean Properly Issue"?  Or if its a "This Particular Cut just taste like this Issue."  Like I mentioned, this Bitterness is so Extreme, it tasted like I Chewed on a Medicine Pill Raw and having that Bitterness linger long in my Mouth. I can't get over that Extreme Bitterness that I tasted in Woon Kiang.  This is the 1st time i'm tasting Pork Intestine that tasted so Extreme Bitter.  Unfortunately, because of this Extremely Unusual Bitterness, I have to drop my Score for this place. This Level of Bitterness is Too Extreme to the point that it doesn't taste Normal. Despite an Average Score, I can still recommend this, although perhaps don't order their Large Intestine 大肠? We went crazy happy here from the selection of innards and organ meats with our herbal koay teow soup. We got everything! Whole table full with plates of braised piggy goodness: large intestine, small intestines, stomach, cheek and ears, chicken feet, taukua, duck meat and hardboiled egg.

Oh gosh, other than the light herbal taste which if that’s you’re looking for then by all means this is the place for your kway chap cravings. I find the taste really mild. Other than the decent kway teow kia, the rest can’t really make it. Pork has a smell. Small intestine is rubbery, duck meat, tau kee and egg were just meh… parking is by the road side if you can find any. Else, it’s inside a one way road by the residential lane. It’s a one way street here, to exit you need to head to JB custom or make a turn into Stulang.

Food taste is above average, the chicken feet could have been better marinated. Noodle soup was nice and the winner was the salted/sour vege which was flavorful. Don’t expect superior customer service here, you must know what you want to eat and make a quick order as they are always busy.

Really fresh seafood — probably one of the better spots in JB if you’re craving seafood. The place can get a bit crowded during dinner, so best to make a reservation or come early. Price-wise it’s slightly on the higher side for JB, but still reasonable for the quality you get. Overall, great for seafood lovers who want something fresh and well-prepared. Would definitely come back.

First time here on a Friday evening for dinner and was easy to find a table. The seafood platter was nice especially the fresh prawns. A generous portion of Lala clams and scallop. Will be back to try other seafood.

I find it odd saying that this is one of the best eats in JB. I should be mentioning bak kut teh, paper wrapped chicken, assam fish head or the likes .. but this has left a great impression. Ok, the place opens late (no lunch), and I arrived around 9pm on a weekday with the place under 50% capacity. Immediate seating and order. There were ample parking lots by the road/ around the restaurant. Since it was my first visit, I received recommendations and ordered a 金目鲈 🐟 in their signature 胡椒猪肚汤, with add ons of cabbage 🥬 and lotus roots (which they messed up and gave me potatoes instead). Anticipating that this could work like hotpot, I added a portion of beef (other pork options available too). The visual of the dish was not as 'intimidating' as Tanyu or other SG equivalents of 烤鱼.. and I find that refreshing. Now, the soup is the bomb 💣 I have many a great memories of such soup recipes from Hong Kong's 坤记 豬骨煲, to China's 劳王 胡椒猪肚汤 hotpot soup base.. and this was a very competent rendition. The barramundi 金目鲈, as you would expect, got a mud taste, not everyone is against/ for it, but I'll try the snapper next time (pricier). The fish itself was sizeable, fresh, and well cooked. Unlike the heavy flavors of spice and mala on a grilled fish, this is a lot more 'refine'. Yes, the kitchen gave me potatoes instead of lotus roots, but it went well with the hotpot and slowed cooked till a mushy state at the end, which made both the potato nicer, as well the soup. The cabbage is a must have, it adds sweetness to the soup and very nice by itself in the soup's flavor. The beef was quite forgettable in my opinion, but I might still go for their pork options in the future. My family has a customary style to end such meals, which is to make a 泡饭 out of it. So, adding the brilliant soup base over a small portion of rice, it was super. Now, RM 120 for this meal not exactly an economical dinner, but it's absolutely good value. I'll be back with a gang the next time. Please don't drop your high standards :)

In my waiting list for quite a while. Finally I tried it. Based on recommendations pig stomach soup based are their signature. For us don’t eat organ choose to have little spicy for Sichuan Mala. Different varieties of fish can choose. Can add on sides dishes as well. Recommended to come. Hard for me to returned to that restaurant if the taste doesn’t match my requirements. For fat fish definitely will be back.

Our group of 16 ordered two large servings of seafood + sea bass in pig tripe soup. It was an excellent choice as the peppery and concentrated stock complemented well with the very fresh seafood. Among the diners was a friend from Melbourne who does fishing and he was impressed with the freshness of the seafood. In the pot were prawns, crabs, clams, abalone, sea bass, scallops, and squid. We chose noodles for the starch and ordered fresh greens to accompany the dish. The soup was frequently refilled each time it ran low.

Chanced upon this place and decided to try - super glad I did! Lunch deal was extremely value for money, food served tasted amazing as well! Loved everything from the our three course meal, especially our mains - carbonara and angus steak~ Tiramisu is one of the better ones I have tasted as well!! A real hidden gem. Server was lovely and willing to accommodate to my special request in terms of food.

The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming vibe with warm lighting and a homely interior. Service was friendly. The steak we ordered was absolutely perfect — juicy, tender, and seasoned just right. It had a lovely sear on the outside while staying perfectly pink and moist inside. The lamb shank was another highlight: fall-off-the-bone tender with a rich, comforting sauce that paired wonderfully with the creamy mash. We also had pasta, grilled fish with seafood, and finished with a tiramisu that was light, creamy, and not overly sweet — a delightful end to the meal.

Great Ambience and I love their music! Great Service too! They have house wine by glass. Food was tasty but cheese in pizza was a bit salty for my liking. Pity they don’t serve pork so there isn’t any Prosciutto or Porchetta. Parking can be a problem if you are unlucky. Gotten a lot with 5mins walk.

We had set lunch. Food was excellent, surpassing our expectations. Baked fish was tender while the medium-done beef was succulent. The hearty pumpkin soup paired perfectly as an appetizer with the main dishes

Tried the two course set, which started with classic table bread served with olive oil. I had the minestrone in bianco, a lighter white version of the traditional soup, and the Australian beef flank as the main, which was nicely cooked and full of flavour. Also added a plate of fusilli al pesto on the side. Simple, fresh, and well executed. Solid meal overall.

Honestly, I want to gatekeep this place so bad because it's something else that I have ever experienced. Phenomenal experience both in service and the menu itself. If you have the chance to try the burata, do not hesitate. It's the best menu item I have ever taste. The server was very considerate even for out of place new patron like me that convinced me to come again in near future. On the side note, the only thing I would criticise is the cheese filling for the chicken dish that I bought, petto Di pollo. Unlike cheese filling in cordon bleu that is melty all the way, the choice of cheese for this is off for me. In the first few bite, sure it's melty. But towards halfway into the dish it congeal, harden, and not that pleasing to taste. I would either consider other type of cheese or ditch it entirely as the chicken can be shine by itself. Other than that little nitpicking of mine, I would absolutely love to come again. P.S. I would love if they could offer me extra bread next time. It's was so good that I regret to hobble it up so fast before the appetiser came

We came to Gianni’s to celebrate my 52nd birthday 2 days ago with my parents and family and dine on a 3 course italian meal. The restaurant ambiance was nice and the food was good. We ordered 2x soups, 2 salads, 3x flank steak mains with spinach and potatoes and a large pizza. The lady owner played with our little boy and chatted with us while we dined. At the end of the meal, they presented me with an assortment of 3 cakes with a scoop of ice cream and a single candle as my birthday cake. As we get older, all we need is to celebrate this special occassion with your family.

Came here Queue and ordered at 1:10pm but 1:47pm only arrived our foods. At 1:40pm we complained & she sd kitchen very busy. If too long better tell us earlier. I will never come here again. Foods is small portion with the price we pay.

The original Hua Mui is the best. They serve halal food. We ordered quite a few and all taste good. The cockle kuey teow is nice. The polo bun is sedap. Even the hard bioiled eggs are good. The black pepper chicken chop was awesoome too. Just wished it was air conditioned😅. Always think of my late brother whenever I dine in this place. Aunty Siew Phua gave very good service.

First visit to Hua Mui. Never tried it because the queues were always freaking long and this time one of the rare times it didn't feel that long and we decided to give it a try to queue. Okay waited for about 25 minutes, probably reasonable? Service was a bit slow initially because so many people paid and left but they didn't allow diners to enter. Perhaps they were a little shorthanded as there were not enough people to clean the tables. Even the food did take some time to come. We ordered via QR and the food took at least 10 minutes to come, for the drinks at least. We already finished everything and wanted to leave and yet our garlic bread with eggs weren't even served yet. The drinks were okay, the Hainan noodles was my favourite dish of the meal. The nasi lemak rice was a bit dry and lacking the coconut taste. The chicken chop was so thin I think we only tasted the chicken skin. The Hainan noodles we loved it and it would be the dish I recommend. Initially was wondering if it was yee mee as it looked like in the pictures. We didn't like yee mee but decided to take a risk and order and turned out it wasn't and the noodles were good and sauce was even better! We used it on the nasi lemak else it was just too dry to eat. And from above we finished the mains and still waited for the garlic bread to arrive. Found the garlic paste to be a little on the salty side but it was a power combination eating with the soft boiled egg. Think it helped to absorb the saltiness and the overall taste was quite good. Not a bad place to eat with reasonable prices. Only gripe you need to have some patience in queuing and waiting for the food.

Not expected that the toast was too hard, and we waited for the carrot cake for almost 30 mins. Seems like they forgot to cook the order. Overall the service was good, the server also very responsible after we asked our long-waited order. The long queue also need to be considered if you want to dine here.

We enjoyed both the grilled chicken chop and Mee Siam here. They were recommended by friendly Raj! He made our visit here awesome. Will be back!

Really great find here in JB. Had their organic steak at medium rare, definitely seared to exactly the doneness I asked for! Slightly saltier in seasoning than I'm used to but definitely a great steak. The sides tasted great too and complement the steak. I also had the lobster bisque, which was rich and flavourful, and had real lobster meat inside. In all, a strong recommend but note the SG level prices charged here! 😆

Great place for great steaks at JB. Nice ambience. Steaks were grilled to perfection, lamp chops succulent and tender. Lobster bisque and mushroom soups were also of high gourmet standards. Less than sgd240 in total for mb7 wagyu and the other food dishes mentioned with 2 drinks.

A Memorable Night at Grill Bar Steakhouse After a mediocre lunch elsewhere, Grill Bar Steakhouse saved our date night. From the moment you walk through the brick walls, you’re transported to New York and the inviting glow of dim lighting bouncing off rustic wood and leather interiors. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between upscale and cozy—ideal for both a special night out and a laid-back evening with friends. Service That Elevates the Experience The staff are attentive without being intrusive. We received complimentary roasted cauliflower dish which certainly tasted better than it looks. Although our steak comes with Ðuchess potato I enquired if we could have lyonnaise potato and the team was so accommodating. We were welcomed like a regular, even though it was our first time. Our server knows the menu well and made thoughtful recommendations. We went with ceasar salad and seared scallops as starters and they were excellently done, and a great opener to things to come. Unforgettable Steaks The star of the show, of course, is the organic ribeye steak 8oz. Cooked to my specification of medium rare, it arrived rested, with a light char and a juicy, tender center. It was seasoned simply to let the meat shine without need of sauces. The sides of sautéed mushrooms and roasted potatoes mushrooms complimented the main and were seasoned perfectly. Craft Drinks & Finishing Touches To complement your steak, you might choose from a curated alcohol list or a mocktail. I went with strawberry watermelon mocktail which pleased my lady boss. If she's happy, I'm happy haha. For dessert, the rich chocolate lava cake (let them know in advance 10min when to serve) finished the evening on a decadent note. Why It Stands Out What makes Grill Bar Steakhouse truly memorable is the attention to detail—from the way your steak is presented, to the perfectly timed service. No tiktok influencer overhyped nonsense and fairly priced. Not cheap by any means (total damage: rm577) but you get a quality experience. Compliments to the chef and we will be back!

Other than the prices, this is a very enjoyable and great spot for steak and grill. The servers were very hospitable, offering complementary services and dishes and considerate for my liking, diet and allergies. Great mood and atmosphere for dates and any family occasions. Would come again.

Had the seabass Wellington packed with generous amount of spinach. Can’t really taste the fish. Crabcake was good as the crab meat is whole chunk. Butterfly prawn was ok. Lobster spaghetti was good too. Service was good.

A lovely restaurant with a great ambiance and excellent service. We ordered the lamb rack, lobster, seafood grill, and Angus steak, and each dish was equally impressive. The service manager was exceptionally attentive and professional. While the prices are expensive, the experience makes it worth a visit. The place was not too crowded and there was no wait on a Saturday night.

I find they are the better steak in JB . Did well the way they handle steak . Very prof chef. Frozen Lobster not fresh one , consider ok. Spaghetti is good too. Price is higher than other restaurants in JB but if I wan to eat steak with professional cooking I still will choose here.

Dang gui duck is just amazing. Duck meat is succulent and flavourful, infused with aroma of charcoal smoke! Roast pork was crackling crunchy and char siew was very delicious. 5 star for the food, 3 star for service which is a bit disorganised. Atmosphere is not great with flies attempting to feast on our meat while we waited for the staples to be served. Ordered the sambal petai which was really good too with a lot of wok hei. You can have options of noodles which was really springy and al dente, hor fun was smooth, plain or flavoured rice. The soup looks good too but we did not order. Good value for money. Will be back!

Roast duck was good. Roast pork dry and normal. But go there all for the duck. RM92 per duck. Need to was about 20mins to be seated.

Had quarter roast duck and quarter plate of char siu and roast pork. Roast duck was juicy and the herbal sauce was yummy! 😋 Char siu and roast pork is ok, not the best in my opinion. Price point is reasonable. Will come back here for the roast duck rice, quite frequently.

Honestly, there’s nothing to shout about here. Prices are on the higher side, and service leaves much to be desired — the grouchy aunties certainly don’t make you feel welcome. I was told at 11:30am that duck drumsticks were sold out, which was baffling. If you don’t sell drumsticks separately, then don’t list and price them as such on the menu. I was willing to pay for it, but ended up having to order quarter duck just to try the leg. Quite disappointing overall — not planning to return.

Ordered dry Wantan Mee with a portion of herbal roast duck leg., a bowl of Wantan and a small portion of Char Siew. Duck leg came swimming with sauce. If you are after the crispy type, this is not it. The sauce is not as herbal( Tung Kwai) as I thought but a wee sweet though. Wantan side is respectable. Char Siew is well charred but again wee too sweet. If only the sweetness of the duck sauce and charsiew marinate were reduced by half.However, something is MSG biting at the tip of my tongue. Perhaps, Char Siew sauce? Good crowd and atmosphere !

Traditional roasted duck in JB. Relocate to new shop which is nearer to main road. First try. Tastes normal and so so for roasted duck. But the vegetable noodle nicer. If you crave for heavy and strong smell of herbal, might not be suitable for you. Mainly attract more Singapore customers to try.

San Low Seafood in JB is a popular spot, especially crowded at night. Recommended by friends, the food did not disappoint—bee hoon and sweet and sour pork were especially delicious. The curry fish head, however, was more watery than expected and could be improved. Overall, a satisfying meal with a few areas for refinement. Worth a visit for local flavors.

Pretty nice food and portion was generous. The stingray was undercooked, informed the staff to cook it again…. Otherwise it could have been a more enjoyable dining experience.

Was recommended by a local to try this place and we were truly not disappointed. San Low Fried Bee Hoon was so good, chewy and not over-fried. Grouper was big and very fresh! Will love to come back for crabs. Very affordable pricing. Spent around $88 sgd for these dishes with 2 drinks and 1 coconut.

San Low Seafood Restaurant's signature burnt fried bee hoon was famous, although it didn't quite live up to its usual standard. Compared to previous visits, it was less burnt this time, resulting in a slightly less wok hei. The dish still tasted very good. The salted egg sotong and prawn were decent additions to our meal.

Unfortunately beside the juicy and fresh roasted chicken, the garlic steamed prawns and pan fried crab failed to impressed. Mainly as the crab wasn't as fresh as you would expect from a good seafood restaurant.

OG shop that’s been around for ages. Food is quite consistent and the restaurant is more comfortable in the evening. Teow Chew Style Pomfret, Fried Bee Hoon, and they have 3 types of steam dumplings here!

If you’ve been around JB long enough, you’ll know San Low Seafood Restaurant that old-school spot along Jalan Biru where locals and Singaporeans squeeze in every weekend night for a good plate of wok hei-filled goodness. We went down for dinner, and the moment you arrive, the smell of sizzling garlic, soy, and seafood hits you. No fancy décor, no aircon just the sound of woks clanging and the buzz of people tucking into plates of fresh seafood. It’s chaotic, it’s loud, but it’s exactly how a true zi char place should be. The San Low Bee Hoon is still the star of the show slightly crisp on the outside, soft and moist inside, with that unmistakable smoky wok hei that you can’t fake. You can tell every strand has been kissed by the wok. Simple, humble, but addictive. We also had the butter prawns, and wah, that rich buttery aroma mixed with curry leaves and crispy bits absolute shiok. Prawns were fresh, firm, and juicy. The sambal kangkong packed a solid kick, not too oily, and the salted egg squid came perfectly coated crunchy outside, tender inside, with just the right balance of sweet and savoury. Service is fast, straight to the point don’t expect small talk, just good efficiency. Food comes out hot and fast even when the place is packed. Prices are still reasonable for the quality definitely value for money compared to Singapore seafood joints. ⭐ Verdict: 4.7/5 San Low remains a true JB classic, no nonsense, no frills, just old school Chinese zi char cooked with real fire and skill. Come for dinner, come hungry, and leave smelling a bit smoky but happy. That’s how you know it’s authentic.

The environment is romantic, quiet and quiet. The lighting effect is also very good, and it is bright enough to clearly see what you are eating. The escargot is delicious! The food portions quite large also. The steak is great! It’s 3 degrees cooked. It’s just right. Asparagus, the vegetables are crispy and sweet.

Was craving some fois gras and came here after reading past good reviews. We did come after just after cafe hopping so didn't order much. Fois Gras - definitely recommend this. The fried onions really complimented the taste overall. Escargot tartufo - can't taste the truffle, and the mayonnaise was overpowering. Would not recommend this. Escargot Gratin - I like cheesey so i might be bias but i loved this one very much. Grilled cod fillet - chose the creamy lemon ginger sauce. The sauce was underwhelming. Can't taste anything from it so it was a waste of calories. Good thing thou is that the cod fish tasted amazing even on its own. The accompanying vegetables were also juicy 👌 Overall, would consider coming again. We will definitely come on an empty stomach as there is plenty in the menu we want to try.

Underrated place. Food was good . Service was good( very rare these days), nice ambience . Nice place for a family dinner/ date. Just wish it was a little bit brighter and the amount of oil used was a little less for the chicken chop i ordered, the truffle oil overpowered some of the taste . Will come back to try the escargot

Truly a hidden gem! Accidental discovery, never knew about this place after living in this area for 6 years! The price paid reflects in the great taste and good quality of ingredients used. Entered the place doubtful, but left pleasantly surprised! Will definitely return for more! What a nice meal it was! **Addendum** Went there again a few days ago, and the food was as expected, nothing short of awesome! Can’t wait to bring my family back here again! Tenderloin was amazing (RM130). Garlic bread was nice (RM 9). Appetiser was great (RM50+RM25). Dessert was fantastic! Only the creamy pasta was a little too watery (RM30). Had Erdinger Dunkels and a pot of tea too. Ambience was really nice too! Highly recommended! Yummy! Went back a 2nd time. Steak is still fabulous! Had the escargot gratin today. Yummy! Nachos was a little heavy! So much. But really enjoyed myself

Great place for chilling, nice coffee and food (we only had the pineapple fried rice) was very decent! Great place for kids and my 2yr old enjoyed the food. Baby chair and children cutlery available. Toilet is clean, big and well maintained! Very convenient to change my toddler’s diaper standing up. No hook for bags though, so gotta use the toilet seat cover. No baby diaper changing station in the toilet.

Hot latte is amazingly good! Ordered big breakfast. Saw couple of reviews mentioned that is expensive, i would totally agreed it's not price cheaply because the Ingredients they use are not cheap choices, and too they put in effort on presentation even on a simple plate of big brekkie says a lot on the their effort & pride in what they do. Sitting at the second floor, serve by two foreigners. The chocolate drink i ordered are totally different from the picture. The taste ok but the presentation are horrible. The coffee they serve didn’t even bother to clean the plate and serve with coffee spilled outside. Coffee taste suck. Place cosy and clean but if is better manage the food quality will be nicest.

we washed our car at the petrol kiosk next door and googled for a place to eat. this place was highly reviewed so we tried and it did not disappoint! the lady was very friendly and recommended us the pork. she was not pushy at all and didn’t upsell the seafood. before the food came they even served guava sliced thinly. good snack. we had pork, veg and tofu hot plate. we added petai for the veg and it was a generous portion with lots of ikan bilis. the tofu also had veg like snow pea and corn and cai xin. we also had the snow fungus dessert and aiyu drinks. it added up to about 70myr, which is a really good price. lastly, the whole restaurant is nicely air conditioned with no flies and the toilet is sparkling clean! great for people who are fussy haha will definitely come back again!

Was there to celebrate my birthday. It was by chance we found this place. The interior is clean and neat, toilet is super clean too. Every dish we ordered satisfied our taste. My friend was impressed and kept saying we came to the right place.

Chanced upon this chinese restaurant. We were hurried to place an order by a middle-aged lady, which we couldn't even have the time to browse through the menu. It's like ordering 'this one that one' dishes. Unlike the elderly woman who came to serve us later. She's very patient by explaining what kinds of chilli sauces were available.Two of us ordered Nonya steamed fish, green dragon chives & fried pumpkin with meat floss. For the steamed fish, we chose 'fish meat' instead of fish tail. The fish was fresh & the spiciness was just right. The chives were yummy. Got wok hey. The pumpkin dish was so so. Altogether, we paid $88, including a pot of pu er, which was really value for money. The restaurant was very clean & no foul smell. Plenty of public car park lots available.

We've have been to almost all their branches except this one until today we tried it finally. I'm not sure about the bittergourd soup consistency in term of their quality, reason is because the soup served at this outlet seems to have clearer broth unlike other outlets where it's normally cloudy as its contains pork ingredients and personally it's tasted better and flavorful at other outlets when the soup appears to be cloudy. Therefore, when the soup came to our table in a crystal clear form, quite surprised thinking is the soup cooked well enough to be flavorful. Well, it has more bittergourd taste and less pork broth taste but overall still acceptable. The ingredients is generous with fresh crunchy bittergourd slices overfilled the bowl. Sitting at the fringe of the restaurant above the ground level which is close to the greenery view outside with breezing wind is comforting while enjoying the meal.

Overall experience: Always a dependable place for a satisfying meal when in Johor Jaya. Simple setting, but the food hits the spot. Food: Their bitter gourd soup remains the highlight—light, savoury and comforting. For those who don’t enjoy the bitter flavour, they also offer a similar soup base with long cabbage instead. The rest of the dishes were tasty, well-cooked and great for sharing. Service: Quick and efficient even during busy hours. Staff are familiar with regulars and keep things moving smoothly. Cost: Good value for money, especially for group dining. Reasonably priced considering the portion and variety.

Where shall I start??? Pork lard lovers must come!!! Pork lard noodles is so delicious so sinful. Set Comes with a small portion of fermented fried pork and a small bowl of soup packed with lots of ingredients bitter gourd thats not very bitter pig liver, thin pork slices. Very refreshing to drink. Can try the other dishes too. Mostly are delicious. Special dish only on weekends is the vinegar pig trotter. Not bad but can be better. And again... Pork lard lovers MUST TRY!!!

Came here for lunch. Shoplot at the corner with ampld parking space at the side and infront. We tried few recommended dish here, a bitter gourd soup, fried pork, and sambal potato leaf. Beancurb is not in the recommended list but I found it taste very good. Soft and delicious. Food serving time also very fast when we came after 2pm. Recommended to try.

老字号! Been eating with my parents since young and now i am eating it. Great and homely taste. You can ask for refill of their bitter gourd soup and if you want more lighter feel, can request no internal organs. Everytime after having a meal here, its very warmth. Recommended and must come! One of the restaurants at the top of my food option list around Johorjaya Austin Molek area. Love their bittergourd pig organ soup (苦瓜猪杂汤) most, light and refreshing for a hot day without the overly bitter taste of typical bittergourd soups (great choice for those who don't like the bitterness). Other dishes are great as well, especially the minced meat tofu (肉碎豆腐) and sambal sweet potato leaf (叁巴番薯叶) which is very fresh. 👍

For maximum authenticity of the bitter melon soup, come back to this Johor Jaya outlet...for this is where it ALL STARTED. Kah Kah Loke has been the household name for great bitter melon soup with pig organs, fried pork and sweet potato leaves with spicy shrimp paste. Arguably so, over the years, SO MUCH has changed. Pork kidney bits and small intestines are no longer in the soup, the rest has been sliced thinner and smaller, thus what temains is just bitter, muddy, salty soup. The fried pork is mostly fatty and the sweet potato leaves feel overcooked. However, service is still tops - an order comes to your table barely five minutes after the waiter leaves you. Prices have also escalated, but if you eat elsewhere branches, you might even demand a refund or leave quietly, never to return. The owner is sited here, so feedback would most probably be taken seriously if addressed to her. Still, there is no other place i would want to go if my craving for bitter melon soup kicks in.

No frills local eatery. Clean and good. You know the food is fresh because the cooking style is light and clean. Thus the freshness of the ingredients shine through. There is a large range of fish to choose, from red snapper to grouper. Fresh, with a variety of sizes. Simple steam with delicious garlic soy sauce. For vegetables, the meat sauce is the highlight. Light and savoury, it goes go well with the crisp fresh nai bai (milk cabbage). The reason for my visit is the bak kut teh (pork rib soup). Theirs is the herbal kind. The taste is delicate and does not overpower the taste of the meat. You can tell that it has been boiling for hours. The meat is tender and falls off the bone. Each claypot comes with a few pork bones, pork belly, liver, small intestines, tau kee, and tau pok. Before the food is served, the wait staff with come with a basin of sauce plates. There are 3 general condiments to select from. Bird's eye chilli with dark soy sauce, garlic with dark soy sauce, and lastly, light soy sauce with shallots and vinegar. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

I love the fish and veg (帝王苗)!! Bak kut teh is slightly sweet and not to my liking. Wasn’t told that they have the yam rice options so ordered the white rice first. Yam rice was nice, so you can skip the white rice and order it instead! 👍🏻

Tried this bak kut teh spot recently — the tofu dish was absolutely delicious and the pork trotters were rich, tender, and well-executed. The BKT itself was a bit too sweet for my taste, and I was a little disappointed they don’t offer pig stomach (only 粉肠). Still worth a visit if you like your BKT on the sweeter side, and the side dishes definitely shine.

Food is good, portions are small but two people eat about 78 rm, lunch, came slightly later and found some seats. Atmosphere could be further improved, the aesthetics of the place, washing area and poor segregation of front and back operations, make the place look chaotic and untidy. The guy used his bare hands to catch my snapper. Snapper was ok, decent amount of meat and freshness.

Had our team lunch here and we ordered mostly their authentic dishes , overall, the food was delicious and definitely up to standard. The bak kut teh soup is refillable, though we noticed it got a bit saltier the more we drank. The fish was fresh and tasty, and the vegetables were well-prepared too. It’s an open-air dining environment, so it’s best to come early or in the evening , the afternoon heat can be quite intense!

Ordered wanton noodle at this 24/7 spot—great for late-night cravings. The noodles were a bit soggy and overrcooked. Wantons were tasty, though small. The fried fish cake was a highlight, freshly fried and delicious. Ice tea was bland. Not the top choice for wanton noodle, but works for a quick supper fix.

Tried the abalone noodles recently and the soup tasted more bland than what I remembered. I first had it many years ago when my friends introduced it to me and it had tasted more robust then. The otak was so-so. The lok lok was okay except for the blood tofu, which tasted really off.

Ordered two versions of wanton mee — one with black sauce and chilli, the other white with chilli — both were decently good. The highlight for me was the braised marinated chicken feet, which were well-seasoned, tender, and not fried, making it a healthier yet flavourful option. Visited in Aug 2025.

I ordered a yuan yang which didn’t taste good at all. Coffee is weak and the tea they used was very bland. I’m not sure if this is a one off bad taste drink? My family ordered coffee and it was okay. I guess it’s the combination that didn’t taste good. It’s a 24/7 eatery . They had everything in the menu available which is pretty great for anyone who wish to eat dim sum or noodles at wee hours of the night. It was strange that we needed to make payment immediately after we ordered. We had wanted to wait for the rest of our family members to turn up all together and combine our orders to settle the bill at one shot . We ended up ordering twice and made 2 separate payments.

Chill place for a late night supper, great noodle texture, great sauce, great soup (very peppery), great wanton. Char siew don’t give much for its price its ok but it’s very salty. Recommend go for soup wanton instead (change char siew for wanton). Average Tim sum but nice.

Drawn in by the constant crowds, I decided to try this eatery's famous Mee Rebus (RM9). The classic version arrived quickly, topped with unique, golden crispy fritters. However, while the presentation was appealing, the gravy's flavor balance didn't quite hit the mark for me, and the portion was a bit modest. Despite this, service was impressively fast at lunchtime, and I easily found a seat. While not my top pick for Mee Rebus, it's a decent option for a quick, convenient meal.

The best beef rendang I've ever had. Soft and tender, not oily, flavour-packed. The sayur lodeh looked weak, but was also excellent. Mee rebus was not bad, very old-school taste. Teh tarik good too. Came on a Tuesday around 11ish. Only 3 tables occupied so was very peaceful. Place is very clean. Service was friendly and polite. Prices affordable albeit a little on the high side, by Malaysian standards.

The best Mee Rebus in town! All the dishes are so tasty. The restaurant is super clean and hygiene. Price are very reasonable with food portion.

While my car was being fixed nearby, I tried Zainal Place for breakfast. It's a simple local spot with tasty food. I had the Soto Bihun, nice chicken broth with noodles. The Mee rebus was good too, thick noodles in sauce. Both were affordable. Fast service, basic setting. Parking's a bit hard, but worth it for the food. I'll come back next time I'm in JB!

Worst ever Worst , I've never seen such a bad customer service before no etiquettes or professionalism. Wasted our time and money. Made us go to room two times and come down. Try to make us a fool. I didn't know this is how they will treat their customers. There's two things , 1. Change the customer service management 2. Please do some repair and design in the hotel. You can get a good money people are willing to come but your poor management ruins everything. Worse nightmare especially for my guy after coming back from the military didn't accept to face this. We booked a deluxe king but they were playing us fool by giving twin bed room trying to waste our time. Ridiculous this is my first ever bad review on a hotel. Poor service and would not recommend anyone. Not even for emergency. There wasn't even an apologize we get for what they do . Highly not recommended please don't believe the fake reviews from them and go the hotel. You guys don't wanna ruin your holiday

Location is not strategically located in town. Limited nearby amenities. Parking is odd a bit, relatively small and no security. Room is clean but has very poor sound proof and my room is just next to the main road and I still can heard loud motorbike noise around 2am. The hotel comes with roof top restaurant, swimming pool and also gym. The gym room is small and looks old. Old and unused stuff just stacked along the pathway to the gym room.. The roof top swimming pool and restaurant are main attraction of the hotel. View wise is nothing special as just highway and residential view. It is good that the breakfast has variety choices if considered this price tag of the room offered.

I paid for a deluxe king room and its stated king size bed room. The hotel staff gave me a double bed room and I went back to the concierge to ask for a change of room as I shown him my booking is a king size bed room instead hotel staff told me that they are fully booked for king size bed room. This is so unacceptable and I’m super upset. Definitely not recommended and is super noisy there the sound proof super terrible. And your system really needs to be updated.

I gave 3 start because you can find food hawker crawling distance. Easy access to shops. Parking a bit scary and old. Room a bit small for 2 adults. Carpet floor doesn't seem very well maintained.

I had a very unpleasant experience during breakfast at this hotel. As I was about to take some ice cream, the staff in this photo told me in a rude manner, ice cream is not meant for breakfast. Instead of politely informing me, this staff spoke in a sarcastic tone and made an unfriendly facial expression. For a 4 star hotel, this kind of attitude is completely unacceptable. There’s absolutely no need for sarcasm or hostility towards a guest, a simple, respectful explanation would have been enough. If you don’t like your job, then maybe it’s time to leave, there are plenty of others who would be grateful for the opportunity and treat guests with proper respect!

SCAM HOTEL – Avoid if you're a business traveler! Terrible experience. I asked for an invoice at check-out, and the front desk told me to request it online. I emailed them but got no reply for weeks. Only after I called the hotel did they finally send the invoice — and even then, the amount was incorrect. They claimed a 10% charge from their own official website (not a third party), and refused to provide an itemized invoice, which made it very difficult for me to claim the amount from my company. It took 2 weeks time and the issue is not even resolved yet, with staff constantly pushing the issue between departments. Worst of all, they blamed me, saying no one else had complained. Very unprofessional attitude. Also: poor front desk service, bad location, and old rooms. Never staying here again. Not recommended at all.

Very poor maintenance hotel , run down. Mouldy stain everywhere & unpleasant smell from the toilet. In convenient of carpark arrangement for stay in guest , air conditioning in the room with condensation, noisy , not worth the price .

Very affordable and comforting bowl of beef noodle. Had dry version, very slurpy and balanced with the peanut and picked veg. Soup is extremely beefy. Would love it if the tripe was braised instead of boiled in water, soft nonetheless.

Tried both the soup and dry version. I would say the soup is better just because their beef soup is so flavourful and rich. Coupled with what is probably the best braised beef in the region (ok on par with Taiwanese beef), you get one mouth watering bowl of braised beef noodle that will keep you coming back for more. The beef is so tender it melts on your mouth, yet it is amazing that it retains all that flavour when you bite into it. Try to get there well before 2pm cause they do sell out before 3pm sometimes. The version with fresh beef is more expensive but it is worth a try.

A comfortable place to dine in. There was a queue when we arrived for Sunway lunch but it was worth it. The broth is full of flavour and the portion is good with plenty of meat. As compared to Kulai Mok Gao, this is better. We chose RM13 for a bowl and it was delicious. Though the waiting time can be long, but try it. Plus the chilli sauce is so good.

The beef noodles were really tasty and worth trying! 😋 Flavorful soup and tender meat make it worth a visit. We accidentally walked in through the side door without noticing there was already a line at the main entrance. When I told the staff we had 4 people, the lady boss frowned and told us to queue. It made us feel a bit awkward like we accidentally became queue jumpers 😅 (which wasn’t our intention at all). However, clearer signs at the entrance would be helpful to guide customers. I noticed some reviews mentioned rude service, and while my experience wasn’t that extreme, I did feel a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully with small improvements, this place can shine even more. The restaurant has air-conditioning, which makes the dining experience more comfortable, especially for hot soup dishes. 🍲

Really good beef noodles, the best that I've had. Beef had good marbling and broth was tasty and light. I ordered the fresh beef noodle soup which only had the traditional beef slices with no off-cuts - a helpful tip for anyone trying to avoid innards or tendon parts. They're only open from morning till 3pm so you know it's good if the business can survive with such short operating hours. Business looks to be good when I came for an early lunch at 11am Looking forward to returning to eat more of their beef noodles! 😋

Portion of food is good for d price RM 15.90 onward. Cheaper to get d fried ytf platter. Bitter gourd fish soup is good. Fish noodles r al dente. Service is prompt as there r many wait staff ard . Will prefer if wait staff can arrange table/seating for diners since they r alr standing ard, waiting to serve us. It's difficult to move ard to get seats with our shopping/luggage.

Tried AK Fishball recently and had their sliced fish soup with bitter gourd. The serving of bitter gourd was generous, and the broth was flavorful, though the fish was slightly overcooked. The Yong Tau Foo was decent, the crispy prawn cake was quite nice, but the fried Ngoh Hiang was just average. Overall, a fairly decent experience.

It took some time for the food to be served even though the eatery is not crowded. The batang fish with bitter gourd was delicious. Fresh fish and lightly flavoured soup which was not too salty. The fish ball was average in taste. Nice sambal chilli sauce as the condiment for the fish soup. Cut chilli in light soya sauce was the condiment for the fish ball soup.

Honestly I don't understand why some people give such low rating. Personally I find the food is generous and fresh. People should try their Fish soup it awesome. Laska is great too. 100% recommend

Been my favourite go to place to eat whenever I come JB. Even brought friends to try this place with me! Food the Yong tau foo is the best for me. Portions are huge and taste of soup is just right. Not tasteless nor oily..

Overall, the food here is very delicious. We tried the soup noodles, dry noodles, curry, and fish noodle soup stuffed— all were excellent and highly recommended! Just a small piece of advice: we noticed that when the Chinese cashier wasn’t around, some of the staff seemed a bit too relaxed. One staff member was watching a video on their phone with the volume turned up loud, and two others were chatting at the cashier area. When we entered, no one guided us to a seat, so we found one ourselves. But then a staff member questioned us about why we sat there instead of another table — which felt quite confusing and unnecessary. It was honestly a very unpleasant first-time experience in terms of service. We hope the management can look into this, because the food is truly great and worth coming back for — with better service, the experience would be perfect.

Quality of food already consistent throughout their different locations. Soup is one of the best around and while a little pricy, the quality is very good. Lots of other dishes to choose from and great for dining alone or in big groups. Staff at this location is very attentive and friendly and that always helps with the dining experience.

We came for the Signature chicken soup. We though it cook with fresh chicken. But! It wasn't! Very very disappointed. The stone rice.. Not suitable for old folks and kids. Only 1st bite was nice. Their food are always good and of great quality. The cabbage (we had that before) was still so awesome and it is a must try. Ginger pork with egg was nice too. It was a wonderful meal.

Ordered their 6 pax course meal which consisted of 7 dishes and 1 dessert . Food quality was good and portions were reasonable. The food was served very quickly after we ordered. Service was fine as well. Can get a little chilly as it’s overlooking the ice skating rink.

3 stars are for their signature herbal soup, wont go wrong. Collagen chicken soup ramen pales in comparison. Salted egg beancurd with crab meat too many small pieces of beancurd. No sigm of crab meat? Broccoli with too huge chunk of fried beancurd. Dont waste money on mee suah tossed in abalone sauce 2 stars for service. Prompt service for giving us what we needes but near empty condiments bottles. The only set was passed to another table without refilling too. 2 stars for being in a huge mall just above the ice rink, super loud music. The staffs had to shout their chit chat sessions to compete with the music.

My favourite mamak spots. Their service is quick eventhough sometimes i encountered very terrible service but it is okay. Every week, i must pekena their poori for breakfast. Their selection of nasi campur/nasi kandar were suprisingly pleasant and delicious 😂. The dishes even served quite early in the morning which is better. Ayam goreng definitely much more better than they used to be. The taste, the batter coatings. You have to come here frequently to know on which waiter you can put trust to place your order and avoid some of them haha (slow service, sometimes forget to check your order). But this mamak is much better than their newest branch in Bandar Dato Onn.

The space of the three-store store is large, and there are many service staff, so it is good that you will not be neglected when placing your order. The roti telur banjir was awesome…

Hock Kee JB Restaurant, located on Level 4 of City Square Mall, offers a fusion menu that blends local classics with modern touches. The Signature Laksa was decent, though the broth lacked the depth and aroma I was hoping for. A more memorable item was the Charcoal Polo Bun with Coffee Butter—crispy on the outside and indulgent with its thick slab of melting butter. The Kaya Butter Toast and Signature Sunshine Egg Tart, however, were fairly average and didn’t quite leave a lasting impression. Overall, Hock Kee JB makes for a convenient stop if you’re in the area and craving familiar flavors with a twist, but given the hype, the experience fell a little short of expectations.

Shop space is beautiful but the food …. We ordered a bunch of things (since there were 5 of us). The fried noodles tasted rather… bland. No wok hey taste, and definitely don’t taste like what they would outside. But the most absurd thing was their expensive kaya croissant. I ate the croissant and was like, how come I don’t really taste kaya. I opened up and saw that there was indeed no kaya inside, just the smudge on the plate. I asked the waiters if they had forgotten to put in the kaya and they said no. We said, can you please give us more kaya ?? Cos the smudge is barely any kaya?? They then came and gave us a little saucer with another smudge of kaya. I got a shock… I have never seen such a pathetic serving of kaya before. It’s quite unbelievable. The only thing that tasted average / better than average was the ice hojicha my sis ordered. Everything else was below average and this kaya croissant still… confounds me. Will not suggest this place to anyone and I’m still very confused by the high ratings. My family (excluding my uncle) were all very disappointed by the meal so it’s not just my taste buds…

I like the Nasi Lemak, esp the sambal - it has the old school ikan bilis & shallot taste. The laksa is also v.nice - creamy & tasty with fresh ingredients including scallops. The ice coffee can't beat Ipoh's white coffee but it has a nice roasted aroma. Update(4th visit): the sambal for nasi lemak not so nice now - become more watery & also no more ikan bilis taste. Tried the dry mee hoon kuih and it's tasty and QQ(chewy). The service recovery is excellent - the online order system was down that day and when I made payment, they missed out my ice coffee. I told the staff to include it but the staff said it's on the house & waived it as a form of apology for the system issues. Wow! This is top notch service recovery and I will recommend folks to patronise Hock Kee

Food was good and the restaurant was very busy with many lunch customers but there was still seating available. Nice Ambience and seats were spacious. Ordering through the app were very user friendly and intuitive. My order of Nasi lemak came pretty fast.

After reading reviews, I was expecting better food. We got chicken porridge, which was very salty. We got Kaya butter toast and charcoal bolo bun, which was normal. The drinks were also normal, and not especially outstanding. We were in queue for 15 minutes with two groups before us. It didn’t seem like the staff were attentive to keep things moving. The air con also didn’t seem to fill the entire restaurant space.

Modern atmosphere with retro deco pieces around, good mix and feels cosy while there for breakfast - Yam tart, kopi Cham (mix of coffee and tea). Have QR code on table to scan and order, so pretty self service and ordered items come quickly. Delicious, comfy space in between tables. Will return

Went on a weekday afternoon for lunch. Though there was a Q but the staff managed to clear us swiftly. I have longed to try their curry potato egg tart and it’s really delicious. Kopi-O was good and was served with little fish cookies to go along with it. Hubby had the Longtong and he likes it too. The staffs are friendly and attentive. Though busy with customers but can really see their great team work. Servers are always ready to answer your questions when you have any queries during ordering of food. Overall we love it there. Will definitely come back again.

I wanted to try the steak, and my son ordered the signature beef. They only had the fully cooked version, which had a smoky smell. The taste was sweet and the texture was too soft—not quite what he expected or preferred. Still, it was worth the price. As for the beef nachos, I think the acar chilli shouldn't be served on the same plate. Personally, I don't like the sour taste mixed with the nachos and cheese

I had an unforgettable dining experience at Kawd Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was cozy and inviting — a perfect blend of modern and traditional. We ordered the beef ribs, carbonara, and smoky chicken — everything was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The ingredients were fresh, and you could really taste the quality. Portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful. The service was excellent too, especially Along, who was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She even gave great recommendations.

Trying here for the first time, Order a few menu such as Nachos, Aglio olio, BBQ Brisket, Lamb shank, Mac & cheese and for beverages I'm ordering their Matcha Frappe. Been to several steak house before, but this one is the SUPERB! The chef & sauce recipe is amazing. Their meat was very juicy, will come back for definitely. Thank you for the smile & great service!

Steak is tender but a bit dry even though medium well done, but they provide good sauce so its ok je. The mushroom soup is recommended. Unfortunately there's many people going in the restaurant and selling which is very disturbing.

Finally got a chance to try out the CCF restaurant, Yong Tau Fu is abundance and all self pick, ordered the curry CCF and the black CCF, curry CCF tasted in the milder side and the gravy wasn’t hot, just lukewarm.. I prefer the black sauce version which is much more flavourful. Overall, it ok..

Craving for ZhiCheongFun, we searched on Google and found this place just nearby, so my husband and I decided to try. It’s a two-stall, open-concept restaurant with roadside parking available. The food variety is quite simple , mainly handmade ZhiCheongFun, some nyeong items, and yamcake. Very local, Ipoh-style vibes. The place is busy and popular, so be prepared to queue at times. I really love the curry sauce , it goes perfectly with the ZhiCheongFun. Coffee is good too! Definitely will come back again

Overrated & Served Cold - Not Worth the 90-Minute JB Drive! ​I drove all the way from Singapore to Johor Bahru—almost a 90-minute journey—specifically to try this highly-hyped Zhu Chang Fen (Chee Cheong Fun) for breakfast. What a massive waste of effort. ​The entire experience was a huge letdown. The most shocking and unacceptable part was that everything was served cold! A dish like this is meant to be enjoyed warm, and being served cold completely ruined the texture and flavor. But the sambar see ham and curry cheong fun can give a try ​This stall is seriously overrated. Based on this experience, it is definitely not worth the long drive or the time spent crossing the border. Skip it.

Not your typical cheong fun that you are used to in Singapore. The cheong fun is thick but thinly cut kway teow. Not cheap either. For sure they add MSG as my friend and I were very thirsty for the rest of the afternoon.

Yummy! I love it. I'm reminiscing the taste of the 'An Shun' cheong Fun, it's my 1st time eating this, I personally love it. The texture is perfectly steamed, not too soft. The shallot & the cai po, ooooo, yummy! I like the pig's skin too. Personally prefer the curry gravy to the sweet sauce.

Vege Fishcakes have a nice flavour and bouncy chewy texture. Dumpling has pork fillings and very flavorful (a bit salty) so best eat with CCF. Chili and Ladies Fingers are quite nice, look very clean and fish paste very smooth, chewy and bouncy. Bean curd roll fillings are pork as well, also flavorful. Long Beans wrapped with Fish paste which I think is the Star in this shop, very nice with curry. The other bean curd skin is standard and nice as well. Fish curd comes in as a pair (take 2) and it's also quite nice. Brinjal isn't very oily and tastes good. I like the Fishball, softer than the other fish paste. The YTF is generally priced at Rm 2 a piece(2 if the items is 1.70 a piece) and their size is medium. Drinks: Chinese Tea (Cold) Priced at Rm 0.80

Came here based off a TikTok video I saw. Might be difficult to spot as there’s a tree blocking the sign. Ordered a big wantan noodles with char siew, friend dumplings, and kopi ice. Noodles was springy and tasty, nice! Lacks a bit of oomph, but you can add your own lard in for more taste. Sauces used overall were pretty okay for the noodles. Not salty not sweet, just nice. The wantan tasted a bit mushy and raw, I’d have liked it cooked a little more. The fried dumplings were nice, still hot after some time. Fillings of both the wantan and dumpling feels authentic, but also somehow taste like there’s a lot of filler inside. The char siew though is fatty, juicy, and really tender. Super nice! The unique thing about this place is their chilli. They make it with hae bee hiam, which is fried shrimp paste. Gave it a very distinct taste! The ice kopi was…drinkable 🤪 Overall, pretty nice eatery and wasn’t crowded on a Sunday at 1130am. NICE!

Wan tan mee is one of those foods that is rigorously judged based on prior experiences, and once you’ve had top tier wan tan mee, it can be hard to appreciate weaker iterations. The wan tan mee here is special, but there’s something missing. The noodles are exceptional, and the portion for RM7 is beyond generous - it borders obscene! In addition, the optional condiment of dry shrimp chili was a welcomed shift from the usual pickled peppers and fried lard (though I was disappointed that they had run out of both!). However, the char siew, which looked great, was underwhelming in taste and texture, though I may have just been spoiled by the char siew quality found in KL. If you are a fan of wan tan mee noodles, definitely don’t write this place off, but temper your expectations accordingly.

No frills, friendly service, very reasonable pricing. HK style charsiew, wanton, dumplings and yong tau fu are generously filled, not skimped. All locals. These food stalls are getting rarer by the days. Pls keep it up and continue to run as long as you can.

First time trying this after hearing that it's pretty famous. Arrived in the morning and the place is already quite crowded, but still managed to get a table. Didn't know what to order so followed the menu to pick the signatures and recommended stuff. The BBQ pork and the minced pork noodles are recommended. I also didn't get to pick the noodles or wet/dry just let the people here decide on the default combination. Also ordered a few sides like the fish tofu, fish cake and the fried wanton. I loved the noodles and the sauce that came with it. Its so good and tasty and the type I like with the black sauce. Wished there would be a little more char siew and the char siew is more burnt and crispy would be good. They have their chili which was very good also, it went well with the noodles and the sides. Sides wise it was not too bad, Fried wanton was on the expensive side, the fish cake was hot and good, but the fish tofu was cold. Overall was okay but the highlight is really the noodles. Sides can give it a miss but the noodles are not to be missed!

Good fix for some Malaysian traditional fishball noodles. Handmade fishballs, fish cakes and fu chok. Fu Chok is fragrant and crispy, a must to try and dabao. The iced kopi was surprising good, thick (gao) and creamy.

Been patronizing this eating place since long time ago, started Rm4.5 till now selling Rm9 for a small bowl. Though is small bowl, portion is acceptable. Enough for an average adult I believe .Taste as usual. I will not say so good till not to be missed. Relatively compared with other ordinary fish ball noodle shops. This shop’s fish ball still stands out. You can really taste the fish, not like others fish ball with lots of starch added in. Soup is umami, top with some preserved vegetable and lard. Apart from the noodles 🍜, side dishes like fish cake, fried bean curd sheets available. The only downside is very difficult to get a parking spot. Not to mention the table. Well you still can sit at the next door coffee shop and order from Lai Kee. Cross shop delivery is allowed. Those with elderly and kids might need to drop them off first and park a bit away from the shop.

Excellent Fish Bone Broth & Must-Try Fried Side! ​Came here for the authentic 西刀鱼 (Sai Tou Yu / Wolf Herring) noodles. This stall definitely delivers a high-quality bowl, especially in the details. Loved by locals. ​The soup is naturally sweet and clean, clearly deriving its flavor from the fish bones—a refreshing change from overly salted broths. ​The surprise star of the meal was the Fried Fuzhu Fishcake. It was excellent and something you should definitely add to your order. ​I tried the kuay tiao (flat rice noodle), and it was a very thin cut (I suspect a Thai-style noodle), not the wider local kind. It was fine, but I noticed a large number of customers ordering the dry version of the noodles. If I were to go back, I would definitely try the dry noodle next, as that seems to be the local favorite!

Tried their noodle. Prepare to wait min 30minutes before you get your food No menu u just go with flow standard choose your noodle dry or soup. Liew aunty or whoever cooking will give you the standard portion Fish ball was fresh but no wow. Fish was good. Its near the famous durian fried cake. Fuchuk also very nice crispy they normally serve this two first before you get your main meal Always a lot of people in term crowd. So yeah if you can wait OK, if cant go else where because its not a must.

The chilli seasoning for the noodles is not fragrant enough causing the taste for the noodles to be 1 dimensional- spicy. Fishballs were springy with a hint of the sea, not too bad. Fish cake & tow kee were so so, nothing special.

Quite a crowd, but the food was served surprisingly fast. The taste is good, and you can really tell the fish balls are handmade. The only downside is that parking around the area is quite difficult.

Most of the JB people's love Bawang Rice because most of them say here is the cheapest in JB. But I'll say not really, the cheapest price are before pandemic. All the price is dependent who's scoop your dish, sometimes standard sometimes less, but the price getting higher. The pork I pick are RM4 per scoop, but the worker scooped very small portion for me, I'm not begger, I'll pay for it, and the portion really not worth RM4, only 6 small pieces with fat. If you feedback to the cashier, they treat you like begger or karen.

They wrongly packed my food when I was ordered on foodpanda. However the food tastes good and I had try it many times already and only this time have a small problem so it still acceptable for me. I hope it will not happen next time since my sister food had been changed into another which she had allergic on it.

The staff who take the rice and food have an uncivilized and impolite attitude towards customers. I have experienced this 3 times and have been looked down upon by this person as if they were beggars in the store. The staff were very upset and uncooperative when we asked them to take the food against their will. They showed it on their faces and put the food on the plate we ordered. I came to the restaurant to pay properly, not to beg, but to treat customers like that. I hope the restaurant will correct the attitude of the staff serving the rice. 24/11/2024

Amazing variety of more than 30 different dishes to choose from. From fresh stir fried vegetables, fried fish, curry fish, curry chicken, braised pork, and so forth. You will be spoilt for choice. Prices were totally transparent. I was ever ripped off at other stalls before but over here, the prices are fair and reasonable. It's clearly stated on the board above the cashier. They also provide warm water and tea if u need some water or beverage to wash it all down. Will surely come back to try the other dishes again!

Im a regular customer her for the past 4 years. I started noticing their price hike which im totally fine with it. Its totally unacceptable when they shrink the quantity, usually they take a full spoon of chicken . But today they took half spoon about 4 small cubes and charge me for a full amount. Bar wang management you guys better find a solution with your finances and staff training or else you gonna lose alot of your regular customers

Great choice of Eco rice there. Self service and price is very good portion is big as you can see and most importantly, it taste good ! The drinks are good. Staff is friendly and the place is bright and clean. One of the best place for budget dining with good selection and portion!

Plenty options of economic rice with affordable price and comfortable place to dine in. In the morning they also offer fried Beehoon, fried noodle, etc. Typical breakfast options.

Hot coffee shop with fish and meat noodle. Ordered extra of roast pork, fried batang fish, bean curd (must order), vege… Overall taste is good, meat and fish in the soup are very fresh, bean curd is springy and rightly marinated with dark sauce, and perfect to dip their garlic chilli sauce. Soup is ok the clear side so it’s quite healthy. The dry version seasoning for the noodle/kway teow is a bit bland though. Total bill of 84rm for 3 pax is quite reasonable for our order.

I was here this morning with my wife for brunch. It has been a long time since we were last here, and the place is still as very popular as ever. We ordered a kway teow soup medium and a kway teow dry medium. Both were very good - the fish and pork soup was flavourful yet light, and the fish and pork pieces therein were very good. Also very good was the service here. Despite the crowd, our order was taken in a friendly and courteous manner, and our order arrived quicker than we had expected. And while the dining ambience here was typical of a old-school kopitiam, the place was well-ventilated.

This noodle soup shop has been around for mote than 30 years and i suppose the 2nd or 3rd generation is now working hard in it. Little has changed. This shop specialises in fish meat and pig organ meats noodle soup(soup or dry). Prices are standard but will go up when additional itms like fish meat, fish bone, abalone, pacific clams are added. The broth is very clear and fully dependant in the fish meat to create that tinge of umami sweetness. No complains overall, only wondered WHY it DOES NOT serve beverages like coffee or tea.

We chanced upon this Catfish King store that sells super delicious catfish! Besides Catfish King we also ordered Bak Kut teh, fried fermented pork, fried ngoh Hiang friend, and pork liver. Their drink is satisfying. The food is nice but their service is lacking as one of our order disappeared but since we are done eating and it hasn’t served, we were able to cancel it :) it’s so nice we revisited and brought our parents here!

Excellent cat fish cooked in a clay pot with savoring black sauce blended with garlic and ginger . BKT loaded with fresh pork ribs, intestines , stomach and liver . The soup is bit too herbal to my taste . Overall standard is above average !

And don’t miss the fried kway teow from the stall just across the road—smoky, satisfying, and truly nostalgic. Authentic, laid-back vibes all around. Tasty porridge available from 7am Kopi is among the best in Johor. Robust and powerful but not bitter. One of the very rare shops that personally hand roast the beans on site too. 👍👍👍👍👍

Lovely local coffeeshop perfect for a pitstop. It's spacious, well-ventilated and the food is nice and affordable. Coffee beans are roasted in-house and the bread is toasted over a traditional charcoal pit. Got a few stalls selling noodles and other snacks too.

To be honest it's nothing to shout about this neighborhood old style coffee shop.Yes I agree the self brew coffee is good but not as what other mentions die die must try.Many of the coffee shop in Senai/Kulai area can have this standard.Overall experience is good but not a place to die for.

Nothing special... Old kopitiam in a Chinese village... The egg is cold and overcooked... Ordered kopi-o to taste their coffee. There's no aroma in the coffee and it taste sweet... The toast bread is just normal, does not feel it's charcoal toasted and the butter and kaya is quite tasteless

This morning, I considered trying other eateries but the long queue dissuaded me. Preferring not to wait in line for food, I crossed the street to Ah Hua Kuey Teow. With a Google Maps rating of 3.5, I found the experience to be more akin to a 4. Thanks to the delightful combination of noodles, crispy pork lard, pork, fish ball, and alkaline-free yellow noodles. Additionally, the fish cake side order impressed.

As I was born and raised in Johor Bahru, IMO this is about as authentic a Teochew pork noodle that you can still get - and I am specifically referring to the "dry" version of it, with chilli sauce and vinegar in the bowl of noodles or (you can't get a more Teochew noodle of) kway teow or flat rice noodles. The chilli sauce here is as close as possible to the original recipe, and the soup (that is also important) is also pretty close, albeit not as cloying as the original form. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my Teochew pork kway teow "dry" Small at RM15 - and the pig's liver slices that came with it was super tender and yummy. Service here was very good - attentive and prompt. The dining ambience was a tad warm this hot Tuesday, but that's what it was like in the old days.

Nofrills noodles that rouse our childhood memories reverberate in the visceral on those who grew up in the 70s and 80s. Spartan layout with plenty of space between tables. The entrails are cooked to absolute perfection, and the smell of nostalgia diffused from the soup is so palpable that it transcends you into the past. Definitely a recommendation for a modest meal.

The kway teow soup was not bad — the flavors were acceptable, but nothing particularly memorable or unique. It’s a decent bowl if you're nearby and craving something light. However, the price felt a little steep for what was served. For the portion and quality, it could definitely be more reasonably priced.

Brunch for two? Try their small portions 1 soup kuey teow & 1 dry kuey teow with lightly chili sauce at RM13 each. The soup has the old tradition taste with noodle on the silky side but the minced meat & pig liver given NOT plentiful. If you want more ingredient go for the big portion at RM28 each that includes oysters.

Simple but comforting. Staff was friendly and maybe it’s a weekday evening so no crowd. Place was clean and airy.

Sadly the quality of their food is not as good as before. I got a lot of vegetables and two slices of fishe and the bill came up to be about RM56 for one. Had to ask them to change their fish in the container as they didn’t look fresh - and indeed the fish was later deep fried to hide the fishy taste. Such a disappointment really :(

Being charged RM31.80 for vegetables suggests we supposedly ordered nearly 800g at RM3.80/100g, which seems unlikely. We were overcharged, and the taste was disappointing. Despite the restaurant not being busy, our food took 30 minutes to arrive. Our total bill is RM85.65 for a bowl of mala with 3 rice and a beverage. We won't be returning.

Imo it's a little overrated based on what i've seen on tiktok / google reviews. Mala soup: The soup was TOO oily for our liking. Not to mention, you're not able to choose the level of spiciness and we weren't able to finish it. Dry mala: I had it in medium level. Spice is okay. But it was way TOO salty. With the price point paid, I think I was expecting more. Selection of ingredients were a little limited, but there is a choice for seafood ingredients. Plus points is that the staff there had great service attitude. I would return if I really need a mala fix by the vicinity.

2 adults, a kid and a baby came on Monday afternoon 12:30pm. We were the first customer, we took our choice of mushroom, meat and vegetables, and selected "a little spicy" for our kids & "very spicy" for ourself. It took around 15minutes from our order to serving on our table. Both were hot and spicy and authentic. We added one more no spicy later and tried their dumplings. The dumplings were plain and need to go with the sauce provided. Total bill was RM70, which was reasonably priced. Food was nice and price right, hence the long queue during meal time.

Great food, nice cute shop, with plenty of options and to top it off with free dessert. Definitely a good place to try out. Food is on the pricey side if you are not too careful when picking out the ingredients.

For JB standard...failed Mee hoon kuey in thin slices like those in Sgp (Probably machine made) JB style shd be in thicker slices. Traditional JB mee hoon kuey shd be pinched by hand so its thicker. Disappointed... 200m away Grandma Ong's mee hoon kuey is better. Above comments are based on my personal taste.

Chance upon this stall selling noodle in Pelangi area. This stall is located along the shophouse opposite Plaza Pelangi. Right besides, there is also a popular dim sum stall. Reached the place around 12.45pm, place was packed, and we had to wait a while before a table was available. There is a variety type of noodle to choose from, and they come in both soup and dry. Base on the menu signboard, they also sell porridge. We waited closed to 40mins before our food arrived, we order 1 ban mian and 1 mee hoon kuey both Soup base was relatively bland, could do with more seasoning. Portion was rather generous and comes with a lot of ingredients. Noticed most people ordered the dry version, no wonder that seems to be more popular. Overall, the food is definitely not worth the 40mins queue to me but would probably come back to try the dry version one day if I happen to pass by. If you are feeling hungry while waiting, can considering the Rojak sold by the elderly uncle right outside the shop.

I am not a mee hoon guai fan but my wife is and she think this is still the stall that defines how MHG should be made (I leave that to expert). Personally, I think the quality has been consistent over the years (if not decades). Appreciate the fact that rain or shine, when we come, we can always expect that hot bowl of tasty clear soup with home made noodle inside. It is one of our “must eat” when we come JB. Oh! A pleasant surprise this visit to find their porridge also quite nice! 🙂🙂

Late night Dessert spot near to KSL. Visited this outlet a few years back and remember it was quite a positive experience. Decided to drop by for the first time after covid period. Was quite disappointed by the standard of the dessert and the service provided. The atmosphere is good (maybe it's quite late at night) it was real busy and noisy during the last visit. But the whole outlet have only 3 groups of customer including us, chilled there for quite some time to admire the decoration & enjoy the peacefulness, if only the standard of dessert was still as good as before......... service wise need to be improved.

Ordered mango shaved ice and yam paste. Mango shaved ice is not the typical "snow" ice, it's more of the ice kachang kinda ice. Yam paste with pumpkin paste. The yam was pathetic. Probably only one spoonful in a bowl of pumpkin sauce..... And it doesn't even taste good. Can't even taste the yam at all. 2 star because the place is clean, cosy and nice environment.

I was hesitant when I read some negative reviews, but decided to give it a try since it is nearby hotel and still open. We enjoyed the Hong Kong style dessert place decor and the two desserts- Pear peach gum and bkack sesame. The price is reasonable too. Overall, a nice place to come for late night dessert. It was not crowded on the Sunday night, not sure about day time. You have to take a lift at the side of Holiday Villa hotel building up to level 1 (in JB, Ground floor is not considered level 1 ).

We recently dined at this restaurant on a Sunday evening, and it was surprisingly empty, with us being the only customers throughout our meal. The atmosphere was pleasant, enhanced by the nostalgic HK old-style music playing in the background. The service was attentive and prompt. We tried the Mango Pomelo Sago and the Home Ground Black Sesame Soup, both of which were delicious. However, the main dishes we had, namely the Braised HK Yee Mee, Braised Quarter Leg with Rice, and Macaroni with Ham, were only decent.

First time here so we tried the Home Ground Black Seasame Soup, Mango Pomelo Sago & Salted Egg Toast. They are really delicious. Salted Egg Toast Is now one of my favourite food 👍👍👍 The staff there are very friendly too! Will go there again!

Good dessert, not too sweet. Didn’t expect much as I read the reviews before coming. But to my surprise everything I ordered was delicious. The yam paste was unique with the combination and probably one of the best I had. Sweet potato ginger soup was good too.

Convenient location, the staff are very polite, the desserts are delicious and not too sweet, environment is very unique, I didn’t expect that there is a delicious dessert shop late at night, it’s amazing. Super recommended！！

7 Sep 24: This is a yummy, homely and very simple and yet satisfying bowl of traditional Hakka Mee! For the vinegar lovers, if you add in a little bit of vinegar --- it enhances the taste. So so good! Both their fried wanton and wanton in soup are fresh and delicious too! Although not air conditioned, but the environment is cooling, clean and comfortable.

Very nice WTM not to be miss but if the deep fried wanton can do when order will be great.

Came here at 230pm craving for a plate of wanton Mee and it did satisfy my crave. There wasn't much people here in a small coffee shop. Not the most convenient but ok if u are driving here. I had the dry white wanton Mee (they have the black sauce version too) at 9rm I think (my total bill was 12rm with a drink). The noodles was pretty "q" and I always like the msian white sauce. It came with 4 soup wantons, which were all pretty nice, although slightly small. I also added the fried wantons.. same thing...nice but nothing to shout about. But it's still a good bowl of noodles. The worst part of this, is the char siew... It's the typical dry tough version. Those that if served on a paktw of char siew rice, not many people would favour it, that kind, if u know what I am saying. Overall, it's still ok for me. If am nearby, then why not. But I believe there are better out there. For me, this is a 6.75 out of 10. Btw they have other dishes as well.

Very tasty bowl of goodness! Highly recommended. We had a few dishes, the one they stood out were fishball soup, wanton Mee (white version, ask for extra chilli if you can tahan), fried wanton, and very surprisingly the Hakka Mince Meat Noodle! It comes without chilli, but if you can take a bit of heat, it was so yummy!

Above average old school wonton mee. Ordered a chilli version but spiceness is almost non-existent. Nice noodles texture and rather flavourful wonton marinated with sesame oil.

Shifted from outside morning market into this stall in 2018. The Hakka noodle and YTF are the star attractions with a new menu 南芋炸肉.

We ordered a Dry Mee Kia and Kway Teow Soup both small bowl at RM9 each. The Dry noodles didn’t come with the typical Malaysian Black Sauce noodle version which I prefer. The Kway Teow Soup taste much better instead! Still for RM9 m, the added ingredients and noodle portion is sufficient for breakfast though!

We finally decided to try the lao tee mee pok here for lunch since my mom told me that there was one in Taman Sentosa. First impression, it looks like a typical coffeeshop with nothing much to see. However, we did come here for the food. We ordered a kueh teow soup and a mee pok. The broth was similar. The noodles were good but not the same standard as the original Lao Tee. The taste of the mee pok was almost similar but I felt like there was something missing. I just couldn’t figure it out. Anyway, we’ll patronise this shop again since it is the only place to get a decent Lao Tee kueh teow and mee pok.

Fast service, food was served really quick too, good spot for a quick stop and go breakfast. The noodles were springy and the soup was good but I'll say everything is quite mild in taste. It's nothing grand but a decent place to grab a quick and affordable breakfast.

Here at 8am, steady stream of customer. Ordered dry noodles, no obvious “black/chili” sauce added and yet the noodles were nice. Soup had a nice sweet taste to it. Definitely an alternative to the fish ball competitor opposite the street if we compare price and taste.

Heard so much about this place from a food blog. Came here a few times and it has been close.finally managed to try the food this time round. Just an advise, prepare to wait as i waited close to 20mins before I was served. The small portion was really indeed small, barely a few mouthful of noodles. But have to say this noodle does have the 古早味。its basically noodle tossed in lard oil. It comes with small shrimps, fishball, meatball as well as minced pork. If you prefer spicy, can add on the chilli sauce. However all, its pretty not bad to me. It seems to popular with the locals as well.

Taste slightly different from what it was 20 years ago. Missing a subtle sweetness. But still a delicious hearty bowl of JB style Teochew bak chor mee, with fragrant lardy shallot oil. Will eat this everyday if not for the Causeway jam. Kopi here is good too, order it less sweet as the locals here love their condensed sweetener.

I’m not sure if my expectations on mee pok should be compared with the singapore one but this shop doesn’t serves nothing like the one in Singapore. Ordered the dry and soup version one. Dry version was just slightly acceptable for me. But the soup version was depressing. The soup broth was overpowered with squid taste and smell which was too pungent IMO. The side dishes was also slightly depressing with thier presentation and taste as well.

It has been our childhood memory food.However down the years ,the taste has been different now,the noodles is more soggy ,fish ball is not as chewy and flavourful than before.the braised duck is also quite dry as compared than previous.

tried their food (in 2019) in the original place at Jalan Tan Hiok Nee nearby the Hiap Joo Bakery, like their mee pok and soup then. So this trip to Johor, thought wanna bring my family to try their food especially their mee pok. But it does not taste the same. The mee pok not chewwy and abit soggy and the soup not that clear but very thick more like the ipoh kai see hor fun soup. maybe some will said my memory might recall wrongly, anyhow for a review on a new shop, the taste really did not give the urge to purposely to come and try it in my next trip to Johor. I prefer those braised stuff from KL.

Came here twice and they were not open. Finally get to try their noodle. They moved from downtown to here 6 months ago. The noodle taste the same like before in downtown, I like it because it’s even softer. The braised items are nice, especially the tofu. Very disappointed with the braised egg, it was clearly just hard boiled and added the gravy then served to us. They should just tell us that they ran out of braised egg, I would have order something else. A tasteless hard boiled egg with gravy, is a big let down. I hope they can correct this serving mistake.

Just browsing for a place for lunch, preferably air-conditioned and authentic Chinese meal. Lady boss is very friendly and recommends their heirlooms dishes. The noodles and yam spring rolls and braised meat and duck. Everything was spot on, lived up to more then 50 years old tradition, currently 4th generation took over this eatery, was from Tan Hiok Nee, the Johor Bahru Old Town but due to new construction they decided to move out of town. Here in Permas Jaya, just 7.6KM away from their previous establishment, ample of car park and near to Jaya Jusco. Food is good, the soup is out of the world. Loved the tofu and the braised gravy. I would come here often now since I just found the Jewel of old Johore.

This stall definitely not to be missed. Its had been around this area for a long time. Their noodles are well cooked and texture are great. Fresh ingredients. Their prawn soup is the soul of this bowl of noodles, aromatic and rich taste. Must try their side dishes. Braised duck meat are tender, and the braised sauce is nice. Fried tofu, outside golden brown and inside soft. Yam roll, is nice also. Friendly stall owner and staff. Highly recommended. *Because of the on going construction outside the shop they might be moving to another location. Do check out with them.

Tried both the soup and dry versions. They were generous with the lard, but overall it was an average meal. The soup had an artificially sweet taste, despite the stall’s claim of no added sugar. Verdict: Worth a quick bite if you’re in the area, but not something to travel out of the way for.

Soup was fine but it was really quite expensive, not sure if this is the correct price as the small bowl was RM8. Right opposite you can get an abalone kway teow soup for RM11.50. Update: Looking at photos below, it looks like the boss (son) just added other things which I didn't ask for. I thought the fish balls and other things (seaweed, lettuce, sliced pork, liver, kidney) were standard and didn't question when the bowl was served. I don't eat most of those things anyway so I think they aren't super honest...

Went to this Kway Teow Soup stall as it has been featured in some blog as Top 10 in Johor Bahru and it opens as early as 6.30am. Seeing that we are Singaporeans, overcharged at RM15 for a large bowl vs RM 12 as advertised on their stall. Their large bowl has 2 kidney slices, 2 liver slices, 1 fish dumpling, 2 fish balls, some fish cake slices and pork slices. Taste is above average, though I would prefer Tua Thow Kway Teow Soup. Went back a 2nd time to the coffee stop to buy curry puffs (cheap & good!!) and that dishonest lady boss was hoping we will eat there again!! Will not recommend this as they are looking to forward to overcharge you. Singaporeans beware of this!

Came here for tea. Nice ambiance, tried their Rose cappuccino, interesting!! like their Black Forest and Chocolate Decadence, but disappointed with the Tiramisu. The Indonesia Chicken Satay is nice and different from the normal one. worth the trip.
